結夏日行白上座請上堂:「人天普集仰聽雷音J40nB494_p0556c19請師垂示。」師云:「巢知風穴知雨。」進云:「恁麼則J40nB494_p0556c20太山頂下瑞雲騰起也。」師云:「過山尋蟻跡能有幾人J40nB494_p0556c21?」:「古人云:『石火莫及電光罔通。』除此二途未審天J40nB494_p0556c22寧如何為人?」師云:「譬似閒。」進云:「學人總不恁麼。」師云J40nB494_p0556c23別有長處不妨拈出。」進云:「出頭天外看誰是我般人?」J40nB494_p0556c24師云:「謾誇好手。」僧便喝師便打乃云:「祖佛用不到處J40nB494_p0556c25有生機一路人若踏著管保不蹈釋迦老子三千年J40nB494_p0556c26前故轍有般漢不解自家作活纔聞箇踞菩薩乘J40nB494_p0556c27寂滅行便向長連床上塞耳藏睛如七村裏土地相J40nB494_p0556c28若只與麼少室一宗流傳豈到今日尋常向諸人J40nB494_p0556c29盡大地是箇解脫場一任隨緣放曠任性逍遙J40nB494_p0556c30他龍蛇混雜凡聖同居他各各具有一副天地一副J40nB494_p0557a01日月一副胸襟一副作略不消護生用殺自然頭頭J40nB494_p0557a02合妙處處歸宗天寧從不將禪道佛法攪人肚腸便J40nB494_p0557a03恁麼絕商量大家搖扇乘風涼。」擊拂子下座

端午日見龍李護法仝母趙太君為和尚慶誕請上J40nB494_p0557a05:「向日藏身北斗今辰座擁南山一眾當筵請師J40nB494_p0557a06垂範。」師云:「出頭天外看。」進云:「恁麼則山河匪其久J40nB494_p0557a07月匪其明也。」師云:「搆不著。」僧禮拜起:「麈尾拂開機J40nB494_p0557a08外旨杖頭點出劫前春。」師云:「且過一邊。」乃云:「打從空J40nB494_p0557a09王如來便留下這箇符印今日入到山僧手裏要依J40nB494_p0557a10樣畫葫蘆去也。」乃以拂子作書字勢:「五月五日午J40nB494_p0557a11時書佛見法見盡消除如是則不用德山先鋒臨濟J40nB494_p0557a12殿後自能廓清祖域奠安禪鼎於後五百歲說甚靈J40nB494_p0557a13鍾於威音那畔秀發於今世門頭所以云得者不輕J40nB494_p0557a14明者不賤用試看即今榴火噴千山紅燄蒲劍揮J40nB494_p0557a15萬里清風可謂時至而理自彰矣且道諸仁即今又J40nB494_p0557a16如何受用?」良久復揮拂子:「此時若蹉過餘日定難J40nB494_p0557a17。」便下座

晚參。「稱提從上來事……」驀拈拄杖云:「惟有這廝最直截J40nB494_p0557a19所以黃檗如是直截用臨濟如是直截悟降此以下J40nB494_p0557a20盡是摘葉尋枝埋沒先宗者今日天寧直截用去也J40nB494_p0557a21還有向直截處承當者麼?」良久:「要會無多子佛法。」J40nB494_p0557a22以拄杖一時旋風打散

次日晚參。「昨夜拄杖子向諸上座前弄一下險今日J40nB494_p0557a24跡藏威依舊在山僧手裏有時扶過斷橋水伴歸J40nB494_p0557a25明月村猶是尋常受用記得汾陽和尚有云:『識得拄J40nB494_p0557a26杖子一生參學事畢。』諸仁即今還有識得拄杖者麼?」J40nB494_p0557a27智悅眾云:「請和尚放下著。」師便放下智云:「相隨來也。」J40nB494_p0557a28師云:「這一堂師僧棒合是悅眾喫。」便歸方丈

晚參乃卓拄杖一下:「秪這箇為解脫之本亦生死J40nB494_p0557a30之源有會得者出眾相見。」眾無對師云:「諸人既J40nB494_p0557b01山僧不免自道去也。」復卓一下:「向這裏一見不J40nB494_p0557b02再見豈不是解脫之本向這裏一見復再見豈不是J40nB494_p0557b03生死之源然這猶是諸方老宿掉下不用底伎倆J40nB494_p0557b04是出格衲僧到來又作麼生相待?」良久擲下拄杖J40nB494_p0557b05看我眉毛有幾莖。」僧問:「萬法歸一一歸何處?」師云:「J40nB494_p0557b06腳下。」僧禮拜師打:「依然是箇漆桶。」僧問:「言前薦得J40nB494_p0557b07猶是滯殼迷封句下精通未免觸途狂見請問和尚J40nB494_p0557b08如何是第一句?」師云:「我向你道早落第二句。」僧云:「J40nB494_p0557b09尚今日敗缺。」師云:「甚麼處見得?」僧擬議師便打僧問J40nB494_p0557b10三不是畢竟如何即是?」師云:「有是即有非。」僧云:「如何J40nB494_p0557b11是無是無非的句?」師云:「近前來向汝道。」僧進前師打J40nB494_p0557b12:「獅子咬人韓盧逐塊。」

因事晚參。「佛有佛眼鬼有鬼眼佛有佛心鬼有鬼心J40nB494_p0557b14大眾要識佛眼佛心麼即今正大光明者是要識鬼J40nB494_p0557b15鬼心麼即今姦險詐偽者是或有箇出來云:『大小J40nB494_p0557b16天寧話作兩橛。』但向他道:『我秪要據款結案。』」

晚參。「佛寶法寶切忌別處尋討。」驀豎拄杖:「容顏甚J40nB494_p0557b18奇妙豈不是佛?」復卓一下:「光明遍十方豈不是法J40nB494_p0557b19與麼則僧寶分上原自具足也因甚不肯承當?」良久J40nB494_p0557b20遂擲下拄杖:「秪為分明極翻令所得遲。」

晚參。「一雨普滋三草二木悉皆潤澤且道無陰陽地J40nB494_p0557b22上生箇甚麼若也知得不用深耕穊種非其種者鋤J40nB494_p0557b23而去之且畢竟如何是無陰陽地?」一云:「看腳下。」一云J40nB494_p0557b24七賢女被我勘破。」一云:「風吹不透雨打不濕。」一云:「J40nB494_p0557b25付來多少時也?」一云:「黑荳未生芽。」一云:「寸草不生。」J40nB494_p0557b26顧侍者曰:「分付直歲來日不得普請。」

師仝眾玩月次問大眾云:「正當恁麼時如何?」一云:「J40nB494_p0557b28來胡現漢來漢現。」一云:「某甲不在明白裏。」一云:「大家J40nB494_p0557b29在這裏。」一云:「伏惟和尚珍重。」一云:「放下著。」僧問師J40nB494_p0557b30:「不是衲僧分上事。」僧云:「如何是衲僧分上事?」師云J40nB494_p0557c01月落後相見。」又僧如前問師云:「我鈍置你猶可你鈍J40nB494_p0557c02置我太煞。」

普請示眾。「寶山既到莫空回昔聞其語未見其人J40nB494_p0557c04今驗在目前也雲門普擊著知歸底許伊是箇俊快J40nB494_p0557c05禪流若是三敲兩打不回頭怎免天寧道箇鈍置?」

早參僧問:「三頓痛棒意旨如何?」師云:「現成公案。」又僧J40nB494_p0557c07師云:「狗子無佛性話你作麼生會?」僧云:「現成公案。」J40nB494_p0557c08師云:「學語之流。」僧擬議師云:「賊身何必枷杻?」J40nB494_p0557c09:「昔日佛眼和尚示眾云:『山僧今日與諸仁同參一J40nB494_p0557c10箇真善知識去』。良久便下座。」師云:「佛眼老人可謂赤J40nB494_p0557c11心片片但不合引人向良久處著倒天寧今日亦與J40nB494_p0557c12諸仁仝參一箇真善知識去。」驀豎拄杖:「巍巍乎J40nB494_p0557c13天為大蕩蕩乎民無能名焉。」

晚參。「心不是佛智不是道當頭突出無毛鷂等閒沖J40nB494_p0557c15破太虛空歸來落得場好笑且道笑箇甚麼?」良久J40nB494_p0557c16笑他壁觀老胡做人全沒孔竅。」

晚參。「安禪不必須山水滅卻心頭火自涼秪如心頭J40nB494_p0557c18火作麼生滅?」一云:「惜取眉毛。」一云:「用滅作麼?」一云:「J40nB494_p0557c19象到時光燦爛離婁行處浪滔天。」一云:「人平不語J40nB494_p0557c20平不流。」一云:「莫妄想。」一云:「知是般事便休。」一云:「J40nB494_p0557c21肚皮自。」僧請師代師云:「要頭便砍將去。」又云:「J40nB494_p0557c22僧今日被你勘破。」

六月十四夜茶話。「三伏苦炎蒸實情難回互雲堂坐J40nB494_p0557c24榻溫翻思林下步縱有趙州茶徒然成露布良哉先J40nB494_p0557c25聖言光陰莫虛度。」

新方丈據室師拈拄杖卓一下:「此處最吉祥過去J40nB494_p0557c27諸佛向這裏轉大法輪直得天垂玉蕊地湧金蓮J40nB494_p0557c28僧既隆聖種須紹門風。」復卓拄杖一下:「今日法輪J40nB494_p0557c29門風現前諸仁若道得箇接手句譬如一J40nB494_p0557c30燈燃百千燈燈燈無盡且入室安居畢竟如何指南?」J40nB494_p0558a01復卓拄杖:「此真法界一切無礙我今安居得大自J40nB494_p0558a02。」

進新方丈日拈花二位和尚率李都諫闔府眾護法J40nB494_p0558a04請上堂乃云:「有祖以來便打成這箇根基開成這箇J40nB494_p0558a05保社天地未分未有生佛名字以前盡情結契J40nB494_p0558a06分付諸仁了也只貴箇同德同心同聲同氣底相與J40nB494_p0558a07建法幢立宗旨未為難事不然獨掌那能得鳴獨樹J40nB494_p0558a08何由成林所以妙吉祥恒白鷲嶺之椎顛普化常推J40nB494_p0558a09滹沱之轂是謂龍吟雲起虎嘯風冽者也。」驀拈拄杖J40nB494_p0558a10卓一下:「試看這一片地自晉義熙間謝太傅捨宅J40nB494_p0558a11為寺以來屈指歷一千三百餘年雖時有盛衰而道J40nB494_p0558a12無升降其間住持者贊勷者皆代不乏人逮至明末J40nB494_p0558a13法席中衰晉殿唐宮雖復巋然而孚上座鐵覺嘴之J40nB494_p0558a14高風凌夷至極J40nB494_p0558a15國朝初我師翁來自雲門乃經其始未幾以法席交J40nB494_p0558a16付先師先師茹荼戮力一十八年而殿堂庖湢一一J40nB494_p0558a17周圓獨方丈一案未果其願嗚呼便於丙午正王示J40nB494_p0558a18寂矣比時師翁尚在得訃曰:『天寧當時我只一過手J40nB494_p0558a19其恢弘擴大之功皆巨長老之力但山門衝要難J40nB494_p0558a20乎其繼矣。』師翁之言歷歷猶在耳也後之嗣席者J40nB494_p0558a21體師翁之心而私其心遂致法席荒寒可勝扼腕J40nB494_p0558a22肖樗散之材承諸檀護遴選住持而及區區入院以J40nB494_p0558a23雖殿堂樓閣為之一新遠近喧傳僉謂山埜之功J40nB494_p0558a24那知同門拈花二大師贊翊之力居多今方丈落成J40nB494_p0558a25復承率諸大檀護揮金辦供命陞此座可謂久要不J40nB494_p0558a26忘先師之囑者也雖然飲水貴知源得地貴識脈J40nB494_p0558a27淵源有據血脈無虧則人人腳跟下明如杲日寬若J40nB494_p0558a28太虛何在捨之田芸人之田然後為得哉若要此J40nB494_p0558a29後有憑傳之永永幸有五山和尚為之證明在。」遂卓J40nB494_p0558a30拄杖下座是日天童老祖忌日北來上方福隆鏡湖拈花五位和尚皆在

晚參:「昔日馬祖同西堂百丈南泉翫月次祖云:『J40nB494_p0558b08當恁麼時如何?』堂云:『正好供養。』丈云:『正好修行。』南泉J40nB494_p0558b09拂袖便行祖云:『經歸藏禪歸海惟有普願獨超物外。』」J40nB494_p0558b10師驀喝一喝:「除卻華山陳道士何人不帶是非行?」

中秋示眾:「昔日南泉和尚翫月次僧問云:『何時得J40nB494_p0558b12似這箇去?』泉云:『王老師二十年前亦恁麼來。』僧云:『J40nB494_p0558b13今作麼生?』泉便歸方丈。」乃云:「何時得似這箇去薦得J40nB494_p0558b14分明成死句二十年前恁麼來而今古殿長青苔J40nB494_p0558b15麼生歸方丈有口秪堪懸壁上老南泉一句玄不須J40nB494_p0558b16重向天邊討玉兔沉來話始圓。」

結制日師昂西堂同汪廣涵居士請上堂僧問:「爐韝J40nB494_p0558b18洪開頓令頑金起色鉗錘大展直教塵鏡生光四眾J40nB494_p0558b19雲臻如何指示?」師云:「一槌便就。」進云:「伯牙琴J40nB494_p0558b20箇是知音?」師云:「瞞大眾不得。」進云:「望中盡是英靈客J40nB494_p0558b21鞭影何勞這一施?」師云:「謾誇好手。」僧便喝師云:「這是J40nB494_p0558b22臨濟底與你有甚麼交涉?」進云:「人天眾前且放過一J40nB494_p0558b23。」師云:「大似持缽不得。」:「古德云:『不疑言句是為大J40nB494_p0558b24。』秪如世尊不說迦葉不聞正恁麼時作麼生疑?」J40nB494_p0558b25:「罕遇知音。」進云:「恁麼則劍為不平離寶匣藥因救J40nB494_p0558b26病出金瓶。」師云:「與世尊迦葉有甚交涉?」進云:「金風吹J40nB494_p0558b27玉管若箇是知音?」師便打僧顧左右云:「大眾一齊高J40nB494_p0558b28著眼莫教錯過目前機。」師云:「賺了也。」:「九旬把住牢J40nB494_p0558b29關水洩不通請問和尚如何是把住句?」師云:「大家在J40nB494_p0558b30這裏。」進云:「身心一如身外無餘放行一句又作麼生?」J40nB494_p0558c01師云:「後五日看。」進云:「就中收放憑師手還許學人和J40nB494_p0558c02也無?」師云:「。」僧便喝師云:「一釣便上。」:「西來大意則J40nB494_p0558c03不問今朝結制一句作麼生道?」師云:「眉毛撕結。」進云J40nB494_p0558c04可謂精金若不經爐冶怎得光華徹底新?」師云:「道著。」J40nB494_p0558c05進云:「無位真人還假煆煉也無?」師打:「少這一棒不J40nB494_p0558c06。」:「四大本空五蘊非有請問和尚制向甚麼處結?」J40nB494_p0558c07師云:「杜撰長老。」進云:「怎柰公案現在?」師云:「適來猶自J40nB494_p0558c08而今更郎當。」進云:「是何心行?」師云:「因甚話頭也不J40nB494_p0558c09?」僧便喝師便打進云:「棒頭點出無生眼燦破乾坤J40nB494_p0558c10亙古今。」師云:「料掉沒交涉。」:「和尚鉗錘固是妙密J40nB494_p0558c11如百撥不轉底漢來有何方便?」師云:「且居門外。」僧進J40nB494_p0558c12:「糊塗。」師打:「我若不打你兩堂大眾笑去在。」:「J40nB494_p0558c13何是函蓋乾坤句?」師云:「你是漳泉福建僧。」進云:「如何J40nB494_p0558c14是截斷眾流句?」師云:「這裏無你措足處。」進云:「如何是J40nB494_p0558c15隨波逐浪句?」師云:「東去西去一任上座。」進云:「千峰勢J40nB494_p0558c16到嶽邊止萬派聲歸海上消。」師云:「閒言語。」進云:「鵝言J40nB494_p0558c17爭似鳳蛛巧不如蚕?」師云:「無棒到你喫在。」居士問:「J40nB494_p0558c18何是的的西來意?」師云西來有甚麼意進云:「半夜日J40nB494_p0558c19頭上當午月正明。」師云:「杜撰不少。」乃云:「行腳高士擔J40nB494_p0558c20囊挈缽撥草瞻霜遶四天下行腳。」驀豎拄杖:「秪為J40nB494_p0558c21不知這箇落處所以驅馳決擇。」乃卓拄杖一下:「J40nB494_p0558c22日覿露現前也諸仁盡知盡見且作麼生說箇決擇J40nB494_p0558c23底道理有者道:『識得拄杖子一生參學事畢是決擇J40nB494_p0558c24。』又云:『涉水登山全得他力是決擇處。』若只與麼J40nB494_p0558c25異水中撈月空裏採花天寧見處也要諸人共知J40nB494_p0558c26值聖制初開若存一毫吝惜豈不孤負諸人一緉草J40nB494_p0558c27?」復卓一下:「直得森羅萬象徹下孤危大地J40nB494_p0558c28山河通上險絕釋迦有手攀攬不著達磨有眼傍觀J40nB494_p0558c29有分惟許上無攀仰下絕躬底衲僧向天地未生J40nB494_p0558c30未有生佛名字以前一逴逴得便恁麼去似地擎山J40nB494_p0559a01不知山之孤峻如石含玉那識玉之無瑕雖然如是J40nB494_p0559a02忽若須彌山𨁝跳入你眼睛裏香水海騰沸入你耳J40nB494_p0559a03朵裏若向這裏道得箇脫體句一任平山翫月梅嶺J40nB494_p0559a04吟風其或未然且向三條椽下七尺單前與你眉毛J40nB494_p0559a05撕結一上。」下座
