進院日監院元吉同徐戎兩山主請上堂:「如何是J40nB494_p0570b05極樂境?」師云:「人天雲擁。」進云:「如何是極樂人?」師云:「J40nB494_p0570b06宙眉橫。」進云:「只得瞻之仰之。」師云:「且放過一著。」僧便J40nB494_p0570b07師便打:「慈旆出天寧法幢方豎極樂且道還J40nB494_p0570b08有去來相也無?」師豎拂子:「向這裏定當。」進云:「即今J40nB494_p0570b09寶座高登金湯畢至一眾佇聽雷音。」師云:「有耳者聞。」J40nB494_p0570b10進云:「恁麼則現在釋迦尊補處待彌勒也。」師云:「我鈍J40nB494_p0570b11置你猶可你鈍置我太煞。」:「託足天寧現身極樂J40nB494_p0570b12不相違一音演說即今大眾雲臻請和尚說。」師云:「J40nB494_p0570b13風解凍百花抽。」進云:「一音演說蒙師指隨類得解是J40nB494_p0570b14何人?」師云:「瞞得阿誰?」進云:「有心用處還成錯無意求J40nB494_p0570b15時卻宛然。」師云:「恐不相當。」進云:「毘婆尸佛早留心J40nB494_p0570b16至如今不得妙。」師連打:「也怪我不得。」乃云:「夫極樂J40nB494_p0570b17境界不待撥塵而見只此庵臨野水座近高城煙波J40nB494_p0570b18浩渺明明不落今時廛市諠譁的的還存太古一見J40nB494_p0570b19不再見直下迥脫塵根一聞不再聞就中了無途轍J40nB494_p0570b20故盤山和尚有云:『可中學道似地擎山不知山之孤J40nB494_p0570b21如石含玉那識玉之無瑕若能如是名真出家J40nB494_p0570b22待千生煉行百劫薰修證無量聖身方謂之神通游J40nB494_p0570b23佛國土?』諸兄弟若以法眼觀則無俗不真若以J40nB494_p0570b24世眼觀則無真不俗茲者山僧赴此方檀護耆舊之J40nB494_p0570b25特借此作箇小歇場與諸公相見且道相見底事J40nB494_p0570b26作麼生?」遂豎拂子:「覿面若無青白眼還如𮭗𮭗J40nB494_p0570b27空池。」

龍珠監院心水師暨慶菴上座領眾信請上堂:「J40nB494_p0570c19意教意即不問堂奧中事是如何?」師云:「待你入得堂J40nB494_p0570c20奧即向你道。」進云:「即今和尚又作麼生?」師云:「J40nB494_p0570c21墮也不知。」進云:「甚麼處是學人話墮?」師便打:「臨濟J40nB494_p0570c22宗乘即不問極樂家風事若何?」師云:「水鳥樹林悉演J40nB494_p0570c23真乘。」進云:「此猶是門庭施設。」師云:「幾多人錯會?」僧便J40nB494_p0570c24師云:「還當得家風事麼?」僧擬議師便打:「目前一J40nB494_p0570c25請師速道。」師云:「罕遇知音。」進云:「過山尋蟻跡能有J40nB494_p0570c26幾人知?」師云:「你是第一箇。」僧便喝師云:「落在山僧圈J40nB494_p0570c27繢裏。」乃云:「春山疊亂青春水漾虛碧手攬不及眼見J40nB494_p0570c28則親曼殊老子界外橫身觀音大士寰中匿跡說箇J40nB494_p0570c29聞聲悟道見色明心其柰句滯則嶽立摩空源迷則J40nB494_p0570c30雲橫遍埜。」卓拄杖:「南泉大師來也說道:『三世諸佛J40nB494_p0571a01不知有黧奴白牯卻知有。』諸仁若辨端倪天下衲僧J40nB494_p0571a02始得無過。」拽拄杖下座

師在昭易極樂禪院受虞山趙讓卿山主暨闔邑檀J40nB494_p0571a04護耆舊請住三峰清涼禪院上堂:「三峰祖席繼美J40nB494_p0571a05惟師即今以何法示人?」師云:「人從蘇州來不得常州J40nB494_p0571a06。」進云:「舒光遠映三峰秀法雨溥沾大地春。」師云:「J40nB494_p0571a07道虞山還肯點首麼?」進云:「大眾證明學人禮拜。」師云J40nB494_p0571a08毫釐有差天地懸隔。」:「昭易纔駐錫琴水又征車J40nB494_p0571a09是神通是法爾?」師云:「待到三峰向你道。」進云:「恁麼則J40nB494_p0571a10杖頭一滴水到處盡成霖。」師云:「卻被你道著。」僧禮拜J40nB494_p0571a11:「大眾記取這佳話。」師云:「莫浪流傳。」乃云:「山前一片J40nB494_p0571a12田地祖翁分付來多少時也腳下兒孫賣來買去J40nB494_p0571a13未動著絲毫然要合原本契書必須有箇驗處諸人J40nB494_p0571a14要識驗處麼?」卓拄杖一下:「此是我三峰老祖向折J40nB494_p0571a15竹聲邊悟得的既悟矣猶慮學者滯在一悟不明從J40nB494_p0571a16上綱宗故不惜茹荼戮力力起臨濟七百餘年J40nB494_p0571a17之緒復見於今日昔人謂挽世之功不在禹下豈虛J40nB494_p0571a18語哉極樂固是腳下孫子但才慚譾劣德愧荒涼J40nB494_p0571a19辱高賢召以典席當此時也祖山是重身命為輕J40nB494_p0571a20當惡紫奪朱之日鄭聲亂雅之時若不與原本契書J40nB494_p0571a21上打箇花押則何以仰慰吾祖力挽綱宗之苦心?」J40nB494_p0571a22卓拄杖一下:「即今花押且向去的事又作麼J40nB494_p0571a23?」良久:「暫辭水波中月旋臥虞山頂上雲。」便下J40nB494_p0571a24

啟大悲期同學月大師率眾信請上堂。「大悲菩薩有J40nB494_p0571a26千手大丈夫兒誰不有?」遂喝云:「說到不如行到J40nB494_p0571a27眼親莫若手親繩床角果然過得瓶來籌室中不J40nB494_p0571a28妨付與鈯斧去如是則咳吐氣乃無漏真智掄拳J40nB494_p0571a29鼓掌為無礙淨光何必三十二應十四無畏方謂之J40nB494_p0571a30救苦尋聲之妙智力哉?」驀以拂子擊香几:「今日圓J40nB494_p0571b01通門大啟諸人苟能向聲塵裏捉敗普門善法堂前J40nB494_p0571b02許你標名第一如或不爾撞著道伴交肩過則錯過J40nB494_p0571b03伊不少。」

純智禪德同顧元卿征天如二居士請上堂。「契經云J40nB494_p0571b05知一切法即心自性成就慧身不由他悟。』」乃呵呵大J40nB494_p0571b06笑曰:「這老漢合取口作恁麼語話縱饒你成就慧身J40nB494_p0571b07如杲日麗天正眼觀來猶是階下漢而況夾山所云J40nB494_p0571b08九烏射盡一翳猶存一箭墮地天下黑暗之語欲窺J40nB494_p0571b09其門限又安可得?」驀以拂子畫一下云:「畫斷古人多J40nB494_p0571b10年葛藤拱極臺不覺𨁝跳上天揚聲高叫曰:『大人具J40nB494_p0571b11大見大智得大用。』山僧遂按下雲頭與之授記且道J40nB494_p0571b12授記箇甚麼?」復揮拂子云:「君王自神武駕馭總英雄。」

祈晴日濟之上座率徒允證暨眾信請上堂:「智悲J40nB494_p0571b14雙運的人未審還有憎愛也無?」師云:「能愛人能憎人。」J40nB494_p0571b15僧拂坐具云:「恁麼則掀倒禪床去也。」師云:「莫孟浪好。」J40nB494_p0571b16僧便喝師打云:「在言前。」進云:「這老漢猶作主在。」J40nB494_p0571b17又打:「聲鐘伐鼓四眾雲臨曲彔高登合談何事?」J40nB494_p0571b18:「雲有出山勢。」進云:「一句當天十方坐斷未審拱極J40nB494_p0571b19臺得何三昧巍巍不動?」師云:「水無投澗聲。」進云:「就中J40nB494_p0571b20忽有箇迥脫根塵了無途轍的漢出來道箇不審和J40nB494_p0571b21尚又作麼生?」師云:「莫便是上座麼?」進云:「古殿豁開清J40nB494_p0571b22晝永昭易門外幾重春?」師云:「念言語漢。」乃云:「春寒料J40nB494_p0571b23怨煞天公全日酸風颯颯昨宵苦雨濛濛夾岸桃J40nB494_p0571b24花紅未吐長堤芳草綠先豐左顧右盼人人頂門上J40nB494_p0571b25七穿八穴仰觀俯察箇箇腳跟下百匝千重參玄士J40nB494_p0571b26太朦朧不向目前明實際卻於象外覓虛空那知諸J40nB494_p0571b27佛心宗不存語默祖師大意寧在西東且道在什麼J40nB494_p0571b28?」遂揮拂子:「一掃煙雲俱淨盡試看紅日正當空。」

四義禪人領邵明吾徐霖生張羅萬三居士請上堂J40nB494_p0571b30:「若論第一義諦一椎粉碎敢請全提格外J40nB494_p0571c01副請法之誠。」師云:「眼裏從來不著砂。」進云:「此猶是尋J40nB494_p0571c02常秪對。」師云:「想上座會這話不得。」進云:「某甲今日無J40nB494_p0571c03端遭一杓水潑。」師拈拄杖:「莫怪麤疏。」進云:「請和尚J40nB494_p0571c04合取口。」師打:「討棒喫作麼?」:「經云:『惟此一事實J40nB494_p0571c05二即非真。』如何是此事?」師云:「南地竹兮北地木。」進云J40nB494_p0571c06滿目是英靈幾人逞好手?」師云:「你試露爪牙看。」僧便J40nB494_p0571c07師打:「原來是箇叫街漢。」:「古德云:『識得一萬事J40nB494_p0571c08。』」驀以拂子畫一畫:「這箇是一諸仁作麼生識J40nB494_p0571c09向這裏道得箇脫體句不惟去離泥水亦且活人眼J40nB494_p0571c10如或機不離位未免墮在毒海不去威音那畔認J40nB494_p0571c11湛湛無依底為本有家鄉則來今世門頭目靈靈不J40nB494_p0571c12昧底為本來面目那知無依無欲始是能仁且畢竟J40nB494_p0571c13作麼生的的道得箇脫體句俾先宗無忝後學有依?」J40nB494_p0571c14遂喝一喝:「釋迦老子是什麼爛冬瓜?」

淨然尼上座領眾道侶請上堂淨然尼上座問:「咨和J40nB494_p0571c16萬法歸一一歸何處?」師云:「腳頭腳底。」尼禮拜師云J40nB494_p0571c17何不進語?」尼云:「如是如是。」師云:「且緩緩。」:「乾峰和尚J40nB494_p0571c18示眾云:『千波競湧乃文殊境界一亙晴空為普賢床J40nB494_p0571c19。』這老漢鼓盡唇皮只成箇念話社家須知極樂這J40nB494_p0571c20千波競湧只在目前一亙晴空不離當下且道文J40nB494_p0571c21普賢畢竟在什麼處?」遂揮拂子:「莫對曾參問曾J40nB494_p0571c22從來孝子諱爺名。」

悅賢那同了然大德領秦郵眾信請上堂:「和尚J40nB494_p0571c24終日陞堂所說法要未審是毒藥是醍醐?」師云:「將謂J40nB494_p0571c25我孤負汝。」進云:「一句當天八萬門永絕生死。」進語稍J40nB494_p0571c26師云:「牙根猶帶生澀在。」:「昭易駐錫春將半為人J40nB494_p0571c27一句是如何?」師云:「天無私蓋地無私載。」進云:「一雨普J40nB494_p0571c28潤去也。」師便打:「場開選佛則不問極樂家風事若J40nB494_p0571c29?」師云:「梵音嘹喨沖霄漢。」進云:「秪如不行德山號令J40nB494_p0571c30不展臨濟旌旗出格人來如何相見?」師云:「我今日退J40nB494_p0572a01身有分。」進云:「大眾記取這一轉。」師云:「且道山僧肯你J40nB494_p0572a02不肯你?」僧無語師便打乃云:「果是箇一口吞盡三世J40nB494_p0572a03諸佛底不用逞舌劍唇鋒自然奠安禪鼎光耀祖燈J40nB494_p0572a04況諸仁盡是宗門宿將七事五位則不問你且道空J40nB494_p0572a05前是誰作主有向這裏通得箇姓字來許你當J40nB494_p0572a06下超出陰界若也纔涉吻唇平地上盡是礙膺之物J40nB494_p0572a07那能擺手出長安直饒三生作國王底道箇寂子J40nB494_p0572a08是喪車後懸藥袋了也且道交鋒祖域中畢竟J40nB494_p0572a09誰稱好手?」良久:「金鏃慣調曾百戰鐵鞭多力恨無J40nB494_p0572a10。」

乾仁祖印二大德仝姚居士請上堂:「黧奴白牯還J40nB494_p0572a12解拖犁拽耙也無?」師打:「這畜生五歲尚使不得。」J40nB494_p0572a13:「恁麼則耕翻大地去也。」師云:「一任𨁝。」僧便喝J40nB494_p0572a14復打:「沙場失策則不問重整戈矛事若何?」師云:「J40nB494_p0572a15僧今日打退鼓。」進云:「陷虎之機不勞拈出。」師云:「伶俐J40nB494_p0572a16衲僧難瞞。」僧禮拜:「今日某甲罪過。」師打:「只有先J40nB494_p0572a17且無殿後。」乃舉:「汾陽昭祖一日拈拄杖示眾云:『J40nB494_p0572a18得拄杖子一生參學事畢。』汝諸仁聞恁麼道如出寒J40nB494_p0572a19登春臺是即固是要且利與害俱當時若道箇轉J40nB494_p0572a20身句庶免諸仁坐在平地上今日不肖遠孫要將勤J40nB494_p0572a21補拙與昭祖圓話。」乃拈拄杖卓一下:「識得拄杖子J40nB494_p0572a22家國興盛野老顰蹙不識拄杖子家國喪亡野老安J40nB494_p0572a23若解如是老僧有過不解如是闍黎無功或有箇J40nB494_p0572a24孟八郎衝前道:『迅速鋒鋩猶是鈍漢萬里無雲青天J40nB494_p0572a25猶在討甚閒工夫論過論功?』山僧聞之決不拒之於J40nB494_p0572a26門墻之外何以故芻蕘之言聖人擇焉。」

白衣庵慈光耆宿率眾檀越請上堂。「從上來事而今J40nB494_p0572a28有本可據少室一宗庶幾不致寂寞汝現前一眾盡J40nB494_p0572a29是飽叢林……」驀拈拄杖卓一下:「若向這裏得箇入處J40nB494_p0572a30俊哉謂似白衣拜相那知山門前一對石獅子據定J40nB494_p0572b01不肯點首乃款款地道:『悟即不無怎柰落在第二頭?』」J40nB494_p0572b02遂大喝一喝:「纔有第一便有第二佛法卻落數量J40nB494_p0572b03何以契合先宗有般的更道積代簪纓暫時落魄J40nB494_p0572b04免猶存語路尚不能搆他船子語脈況我臨濟門下J40nB494_p0572b05三要印開朱點窄未容擬議主賓分所以古人云:『J40nB494_p0572b06仁既得箇入頭處須求箇出頭處若不得箇出頭處J40nB494_p0572b07諸人盡是太平寰宇坐底痴頑那能橫按莫邪全正J40nB494_p0572b08廓清祖域哉?』即今雨散雲收風恬浪靜畢竟原始J40nB494_p0572b09要終如何說箇保任底事?」良久:「但將飯向無心碗J40nB494_p0572b10自有人提折腳鐺。」

文智二上座領眾信請上堂:「三要印開朱點J40nB494_p0572b12未容擬議主賓分如何是先照後用?」師云:「看你納J40nB494_p0572b13。」「如何是先用後照?」師云:「打了結案。」「如何是照用同J40nB494_p0572b14?」師打:「也放你不得。」「如何是照用不同時?」師云:「J40nB494_p0572b15待冷來看。」進云:「照用蒙師指示末後一句是如何?」J40nB494_p0572b16師云:「今日無暇打得你。」:「如何是真佛?」師云:「破草鞋。」J40nB494_p0572b17如何是真法?」師云:「赦到也。」「如何是真道?」師云:「腳頭腳J40nB494_p0572b18。」「如何是第一句?」師便打。「如何是第二句?」師又打。「J40nB494_p0572b19何是第三句?」師連棒打趁乃云:「一代時教看來是甚J40nB494_p0572b20麼破草鞋大丈夫兒終不依他作解有時奮喝散白J40nB494_p0572b21雲的氣概有時操打破虛空的鉗鎚不惟三賢膽戰J40nB494_p0572b22十地魂驚即使釋迦老子到來也須趁向他方世界J40nB494_p0572b23到此方稱得箇不受惑的人而今兄弟問真問假J40nB494_p0572b24一問二大似三家村打口令相似問到十成盡屬所J40nB494_p0572b25譬如水母以蝦為目游泳江海何曾有自由分J40nB494_p0572b26見昔日城東老母與佛同生生平不欲見佛後來雪J40nB494_p0572b27竇道:『他雖是箇女流宛有丈夫作略。』諸兄弟且那裏J40nB494_p0572b28是他丈夫作略處到這裏要見城東老母則易要見J40nB494_p0572b29雪竇則難苟非解脫世出世間法那能權衡佛祖J40nB494_p0572b30眼目人天所以道佛法中迷卻多少人世法中悟卻J40nB494_p0572c01多少人諸仁要識佛法中迷的麼出身猶可易要識J40nB494_p0572c02世法中悟的麼脫體道應難且道極樂恁麼提唱J40nB494_p0572c03稱他黃面頭陀意也無?」遂揮拂子云:「知恩深處報恩J40nB494_p0572c04。」

本虛上座領眾檀越請上堂:「法筵乍啟法戰當陽J40nB494_p0572c06學人按劍上來請師亞鎗相待。」師云:「山僧沒者閒工J40nB494_p0572c07。」進云:「也不得詐敗。」師云:「卻被你看破。」僧禮拜:「J40nB494_p0572c08日某甲罪過。」師云:「要且不契老僧意。」進云:「自有傍觀J40nB494_p0572c09者清。」師云:「且放你一頓。」乃云:「有佛處不得住無佛處J40nB494_p0572c10急走過趙州老漢拈得眼睛失卻鼻孔若是塵中識J40nB494_p0572c11得天子百草頭薦取老僧底就地拾將明月去光非J40nB494_p0572c12照境入山推出白雲來境亦非存直饒光境俱忘J40nB494_p0572c13未是伊安身立命處在。」驀拈拂子:「看今日極樂轉J40nB494_p0572c14拂子歸山河大地去也盡十方世界若天仙人畜J40nB494_p0572c15叢林無一不歸掌握更有甚丘山非重羽毛非輕J40nB494_p0572c16而不一一知他落處是知佛具正遍知善逝世間解J40nB494_p0572c17會得底事同一家秪如今朝水恬風靜昨日浪急湍J40nB494_p0572c18且道是神通耶法爾耶?」良久:「也不出雪峰道底。」

智悟禪人領登瀛沈居士為室許氏誕日請上堂。「J40nB494_p0572c20彌南畔香海東頭中有一句子亙古亙今從無一人J40nB494_p0572c21道破只因年深月久知他是擲地金聲是敲空玉響?」J40nB494_p0572c22驀拈拄杖卓一下:「多道這廝親從那邊來語以智J40nB494_p0572c23則滄海難量語以壽量則虛空莫載以至位天地J40nB494_p0572c24育萬物莫不皆承他力且道他是阿誰到這裏直饒J40nB494_p0572c25牙如利劍口似血盆的達磨盡力也只道得箇不識J40nB494_p0572c26何況舞文鬥智之夫要窺其半面焉可得乎故古人J40nB494_p0572c27喻如萬古碧潭空界月則固是也且道再三撈摝始J40nB494_p0572c28應知畢竟誰是其人?」良久擲拄杖:「直下來也急著J40nB494_p0572c29眼看。」便下座

李景元居士同室薦亡請上堂。「一切聖凡皆共此心J40nB494_p0573a01心也者廣大如法界究竟若虛空但形文彩即屬染J40nB494_p0573a02不形文彩黧奴白牯背一面古鏡燈籠露柱有萬J40nB494_p0573a03里神光一一天真一一靈玅何往而不自得良以一J40nB494_p0573a04切眾生情塵錮蔽識鎖難開由是自昧衣珠頓忘家J40nB494_p0573a05譬如龍遊滄海不知水為性命鳳翥青霄那識空J40nB494_p0573a06是家鄉繩床上老榾檛左提右挈要得一箇半箇高J40nB494_p0573a07跨白牛出大火宅還如星中揀月今日若不當陽曉J40nB494_p0573a08迷子何以知歸?」驀拈拄杖:「還見麼?」復卓一下J40nB494_p0573a09還聞麼聞見既分明且道是箇甚麼直下見得各各J40nB494_p0573a10頂門上如十日並照當薦諸亡靈能諦信不疑我今J40nB494_p0573a11為汝保任此事終不虛也。」
