甲辰夏新方丈落成眾請陞座。「豁開華藏剎海全彰J40nB494_p0525c05一莖草上一精藍寬廓非外一微塵裏一佛國寂寥J40nB494_p0525c06非內直得釋迦維摩向者裏各展神通或掩室摩竭J40nB494_p0525c07令無數人天互起淆訛或杜口毘耶共三十二大士J40nB494_p0525c08說盡道理盡謂光揚宗眼烜赫若撿點將來J40nB494_p0525c09似無風匝匝之波爭如鏡湖今日茆茨初闢大座當J40nB494_p0525c10不用丁一卓二自然草偃風行那待豎四橫三J40nB494_p0525c11渠成水到家風廓徹盛業巍峨則且置畢竟入室J40nB494_p0525c12安居一句作麼生道?」拈拄杖卓一下:「有山皆下拜J40nB494_p0525c13無水不朝宗。」

陞座:「禾山鼓雪峰毬不勞拈出請師別展鎗旗。」J40nB494_p0525c15便打僧便喝師掩耳僧無語師又打:「覿面相呈J40nB494_p0525c16師速道。」師云:「大眾見你敗缺。」僧便喝師云:「兩重公案。」J40nB494_p0525c17乃云:「釋迦未出世鷲嶺有家風達磨一西來少林無J40nB494_p0525c18妙訣無妙訣處切忌承當有家風時那堪埋沒所以J40nB494_p0525c19露地白牛靈苗不顧丹霄彩鳳金網全拋直得信絕J40nB494_p0525c20并汾機投密室威音那畔從來不許夜行今時門頭J40nB494_p0525c21須是投明早到機機不沉毒海著著截斷眾流一任J40nB494_p0525c22紅塵鬧市開大覺場酒肆茶坊流通正眼拈一莖草J40nB494_p0525c23穿臨濟德山鼻孔把一粒豆換文殊普賢眼珠便恁J40nB494_p0525c24麼去猶是門庭施設且堂奧中一句又如何通信?」J40nB494_p0525c25:「衲被蒙頭萬事休此時山僧都不會。」

陞座。「世尊不說說齒密不關風迦葉不聞聞耳疏不J40nB494_p0525c27漏事事不漏則觀音腳跟點地風不關則普賢鼻孔J40nB494_p0525c28遼天然後汝發我機我彰汝用本地風光頭頭顯煥J40nB494_p0525c29圓通三昧處處弛張直得燈籠露柱交互爭輝拍板J40nB494_p0525c30門槌揚聲喝彩且直下承當是何人也?」良久:「把手J40nB494_p0526a01拽不入。」

陞座:「心月孤圓光吞萬象光非照境境亦非存J40nB494_p0526a03境俱忘復是何物?」師云:「我到者裏卻不識。」進云:「瞞得J40nB494_p0526a04大眾眼麼?」師云:「且瞞上座一箇。」進云:「若不上來焉知J40nB494_p0526a05端的?」師云:「十萬八千未是遠。」乃云:「遮那境界觸處全J40nB494_p0526a06林木池沼現無邊身鱗甲羽毛說無量法動用不J40nB494_p0526a07離本際去來全在剎那直得心心爾念念爾塵塵爾J40nB494_p0526a08剎剎爾正眼觀來猶是法界量裏在且超法界一句J40nB494_p0526a09作麼生道?」良久:「芍藥花開菩薩面棕櫚葉散夜叉J40nB494_p0526a10。」

陞座。「自從胡亂後三十年不少鹽醬諸仁要見馬大J40nB494_p0526a12師橫身為物處麼鏡湖今日露渠箇面孔去也。」驀拈J40nB494_p0526a13拄杖卓一下:「面孔露怪復醜自從胡亂來本分全J40nB494_p0526a14不守慣自臥官街慣自喫官酒肚裏貯無明觸著嗔J40nB494_p0526a15斗吼展開驢腳伸出毛手推倒佛殿瞿曇無處容身J40nB494_p0526a16扶起魔宮波旬一時稽首報諸仁莫亂走一一面南J40nB494_p0526a17看北斗。」

陞座。「萬里不掛片雲青天全體獨露無端石鞏箇漢J40nB494_p0526a19張弓架箭仰面射之嚇得舜若多神躍入大洋海底J40nB494_p0526a20驚起八大龍王各各興雲布雨霎時乾坤黑暗江海J40nB494_p0526a21波騰當此時也石鞏箇漢失卻鵰鞬舜若多神忘卻J40nB494_p0526a22本位一齊到鏡湖院裏唱言:『得箇安樂。』山僧不覺喜J40nB494_p0526a23動顏色印以偈曰初三十一不用擇曆夜夢不祥J40nB494_p0526a24破大吉。」

陞座。「狗子佛性有家國盛興狗子佛性無家國喪亡J40nB494_p0526a26若向喪亡處見得歸家穩坐若向興盛處見得落在J40nB494_p0526a27半途且道淆訛在甚麼處?」良久:「白雲乍可來青嶂J40nB494_p0526a28明月難教下碧天。」

臘八陞座:「如何是諸佛出身處?」師云:「一滴水一滴J40nB494_p0526a30。」:「心不是佛智不是道請師直指。」師云:「有口只堪J40nB494_p0526b01掛壁。」進云:「恁麼則學人得自在也。」師云:「見箇甚麼道J40nB494_p0526b02?」進云:「向道莫行山下路果聞猿叫斷腸聲。」師云:「J40nB494_p0526b03言語。」乃云:「今朝正是臘月八黃面瞿曇沒傝𠎷漫言J40nB494_p0526b04悟道睹明星半夜三更恣叨怛智慧妄想亂區分J40nB494_p0526b05顧傍觀攔路撒彼此英雄丈夫兒如何肯受你塗抹J40nB494_p0526b06可惜當初放過伊恨不劈頭與一踏。」驀高聲召眾云J40nB494_p0526b07瞌睡漢休眼眵𥉌若要報德酬恩無過先解此法。」

陞座:「學人單刀直入請師相見。」師云:「阿㖿㖿阿㖿J40nB494_p0526b15!」進云:「恁麼那恁麼那!」師云:「且道相見也未?」僧便喝J40nB494_p0526b16師打:「落第二。」乃云:「若人識得心落第二見J40nB494_p0526b17閬倒騎驢怕睹畜生面若要合古轍鏡湖有方便。」J40nB494_p0526b18卓拄杖一下:「萬年流水不知春一擘華山分兩片。」

陞座。「極盡去也直得山河大地無纖毫過患諸人向J40nB494_p0526b20者裏坐不得若向者裏坐正是平地上死人且如何J40nB494_p0526b21免得此過?」驀拈拄杖:「雲門大師來也說道觀音菩J40nB494_p0526b22薩將錢買胡餅放下手來卻是箇饅頭諸仁者要知J40nB494_p0526b23雲門大師落處麼?」遂擲下拄杖:「撒手到家人不識J40nB494_p0526b24了無一物獻尊堂。」

陞座:「此是選佛場心空及第歸如何是心空及第J40nB494_p0526b26?」師云:「拔出眼中楔。」進云:「昨夜露柱得大慶快倒騎J40nB494_p0526b27佛殿出山門去也。」師云:「腳跟下好痛與一頓。」僧禮拜J40nB494_p0526b28師打:「說到不如行到。」乃云:「平田淺草坐斷今時J40nB494_p0526b29山巖崖不存太古若向那邊透過卻來這邊作用J40nB494_p0526b30任擎祕魔乂剪除狂寇握祗林劍掃蕩欃槍從教野J40nB494_p0526c01老門外鼓腹謳歌羲皇室中頹然尊貴家邦安怗則J40nB494_p0526c02且置畢竟功歸何所?」驀喝一喝:「不許將軍見太平。」

陞座。「既是佛殿因甚有塵又一點也分付知事打J40nB494_p0526c04普請著寒山拾得底苕帚糞箕若也善用一任向J40nB494_p0526c05世界未生前掃去從他外來底眾生塵佛祖塵總教J40nB494_p0526c06廓然清淨雖然正與麼時畢竟阿誰是主?」驀高聲喚J40nB494_p0526c07行者:「收起作具歸堂喫茶去。」

陞座:「文殊是七佛之師因甚出女子定不得?」師云J40nB494_p0526c09寒則普天匝地寒。」進云:「罔明是初地菩薩因甚卻出J40nB494_p0526c10?」師云:「熱則普天匝地熱。」進云:「畢竟把柄在阿誰手J40nB494_p0526c11?」師云:「恁麼見解正好喫棒。」僧擬議師便打:「如何J40nB494_p0526c12是祖師西來意?」師云:「不是庭前柏樹子。」進云:「趙州道J40nB494_p0526c13庭前柏樹子。』又作麼生?」師云:「草本不勞拈出。」乃云:「J40nB494_p0526c14峰頂上景物鮮明日出則湖光蕩漾雲開則山色青J40nB494_p0526c15風傳喬木玲瓏心印全彰泉瀉幽巖綿密機關獨J40nB494_p0526c16處處七穿八穴頭頭百匝千重便恁麼承當得去J40nB494_p0526c17衲僧分上未足觀光諸禪衲忽若缽匙石𨁝跳上天J40nB494_p0526c18撞著黔崗嶺百雜碎又如何理論?」卓拄杖一下:「J40nB494_p0526c19許夜行剛把火直須當道與人看。」

陞座。「一葉一釋迦一塵一佛國恁麼悟去時直處反J40nB494_p0526c21成曲俊鷂不打死兔猛虎那食伏肉若要脫體相應J40nB494_p0526c22鏡湖門下正好奉伊一摑。」

陞座僧問:「趙州勘二菴主一般豎拳因甚肯一箇J40nB494_p0526c24肯一箇?」師云:「切忌道舌頭在趙州口裏。」進云:「不將甚J40nB494_p0526c25深意怎得驗當機?」師云:「當機事作麼生?」僧便喝師云J40nB494_p0526c26。」:「牛頭未見四祖時如何?」師云:「富嫌千口少。」J40nB494_p0526c27:「見後如何?」師云:「貧恨一身多。」乃云:「天不能蓋地不J40nB494_p0526c28能載赤肉團上圓裹十虛百草頭邊縱橫無礙釋迦J40nB494_p0526c29彌勒秪可觀光白牯黧奴卻善頂戴若是鏡湖令行J40nB494_p0526c30須彌直教粉碎。」

陞座:「世尊說法華因甚五千退席?」師云:「闍黎代他J40nB494_p0527a02喫棒。」僧無語師便打:「話不虛行。」乃云:「出門逢彌勒J40nB494_p0527a03入門見釋迦若不揮劍漁父棲巢出門逢阿誰入門J40nB494_p0527a04見甚麼渠無國土甚處逢渠古人一期建立只圖家J40nB494_p0527a05國重興鏡湖乃特地防閑多為僭竊若向古人言下J40nB494_p0527a06薦得長安雖好不是久居若向鏡湖言下薦得一任J40nB494_p0527a07須彌頂上走馬大洋海底相撲不妨做箇脫灑衲僧J40nB494_p0527a08雖然畢竟古今相去多少?」良久:「北斗藏身雖有語J40nB494_p0527a09出群消息許誰知?」

陞座。「唯一堅密身一切塵中現諸仁者前是山門J40nB494_p0527a11是佛殿左邊廚庫右邊客堂且道堅密身在甚麼處J40nB494_p0527a12直饒向者裏不動一塵不撥一境直下見得黃面老J40nB494_p0527a13子立地處若據鏡湖看來正是靈龜負圖明朝後日J40nB494_p0527a14大有事在且道利害在甚麼處?」卓拄杖一下:「莫守J40nB494_p0527a15寒巖異草青坐著白雲宗不妙。」

除夕陞座。「朔吹連朝峰頂寒沍雪埋絕壑冰鎖深溪J40nB494_p0527a17萬境斷人蹤千林飛鳥絕況復年窮歲盡節換時移J40nB494_p0527a18鏡湖院裏澹泊家風飽餐脫粟飯冷嚥淡黃虀炙地J40nB494_p0527a19夜間眠隈陽日裏坐那有閒心情與汝等烹牛分歲J40nB494_p0527a20燒紙除年雖然忽有箇漢出來道:『大小鏡湖得恁麼J40nB494_p0527a21寒乞相?』只向他道:『但得雪消去自然春到來。』」

元旦陞座:「新年頭還有佛法也無?」師云:「縱目所觀。」J40nB494_p0527a23進云:「恁麼則學人有賴也。」師云:「且喜領話。」:「元正啟J40nB494_p0527a24萬物咸新作麼生是咸新底句?」師云:「草木生光。」J40nB494_p0527a25:「今日親見和尚。」師云:「你道山僧眉毛長多少?」進云J40nB494_p0527a26伏惟萬福。」師云:「伶俐衲子難得。」乃云:「元正啟祚萬物J40nB494_p0527a27咸新直得雲中五老氣象崢嶸湖上兩姑威光烜赫J40nB494_p0527a28等閒遇著各美所居一云:『山高無極能保障生民。』J40nB494_p0527a29:『水深無垠能權衡國土。』鄰封漢王聞得乃出諭曰J40nB494_p0527a30普天之下莫非王土率土之濱莫非王臣者是甚麼J40nB494_p0527b01所在說高說下論淺論深?』由是兩處奉命各還本位J40nB494_p0527b02無端東村黑王老昨夜燒錢祝願冷地被伊祝著J40nB494_p0527b03覺通身慶快揚聲高叫曰:『巍巍乎善能統御天下J40nB494_p0527b04等鑿井而飲耕田而食安知王恩遍溥者哉?』」驀顧左J40nB494_p0527b05:「諸仁者且道在鏡湖分上又成得甚麼邊事?」J40nB494_p0527b06拄杖:「但願春風齊著力一時吹入我門來。」

陞座。「風擊長林穿過普門耳竅月明幽谷刺破曼殊J40nB494_p0527b08眼睛諸仁者秪如眼睛既破將甚麼見色耳朵既穿J40nB494_p0527b09將甚麼聞聲?」驀拈拄杖:「若向者裏搆得則知聽不J40nB494_p0527b10屬耳聞周沙界觀不由眼洞見十方便恁麼去止作J40nB494_p0527b11得箇如來使下且道祖師門下別作麼生?」遂擲下拄J40nB494_p0527b12:「石牛橫古路一馬生三寅。」

立春日陞座:「將此身心奉塵剎是則名為報佛恩J40nB494_p0527b14如何是學人報恩處?」師云:「自家肚皮自家畫。」乃云:「J40nB494_p0527b15氣初回梅苞玉蕊和風乍扇柳茁金芽雲山漸漸燒J40nB494_p0527b16痕青園林處處黃鳥語直得少室峰頭春雲靉靆J40nB494_p0527b17溪路上春雨濛濛堪笑須菩提一向巖中晏坐聞恁J40nB494_p0527b18麼道不覺寒毛卓豎背脊汗流且道意歸何所?」拈拄J40nB494_p0527b19:「東君昨夜傳消息枯木重開劫外花。」

陞座。「五百比丘懷疑家親作祟文殊仗劍除害曳尾J40nB494_p0527b24靈龜直饒透過荊棘林未免死在平地上秪如世尊J40nB494_p0527b25鼓盡唇舌又作麼生?」良久:「啼得血流無用處不如J40nB494_p0527b26緘口過殘春。」

陞座。「寶鑑當軒妍媸自現莫邪在握殺活全施諸仁J40nB494_p0527b28若向殺活未施前提去則佛魔俱遣妍媸未現時J40nB494_p0527b29翻轉則光境俱忘便與麼去三世諸佛有口秪堪挂J40nB494_p0527b30卻與麼來歷代祖師無手偏解拏空依舊向光境J40nB494_p0527c01裏顯煥生緣佛魔中提持本分如是則聖號凡名打J40nB494_p0527c02成一塊劣形殊相攪作一團好不資一毫醜不資一J40nB494_p0527c03全體與麼來全體如是住拈起則須彌壁立放下J40nB494_p0527c04則香海波澄眼清手快者逴得便行尚留觀聽者看J40nB494_p0527c05即有分。」

元宵陞座。「青山深處白雲邊別有家風異市廛然起J40nB494_p0527c07松脂過此夜舒光直透古皇前。」

陞座。「若迷須得箇悟既悟還得箇迷迷而不悟眾生J40nB494_p0527c09無解脫之期悟而不迷諸佛無出身之路。」驀拈拄杖J40nB494_p0527c10:「眾生諸佛總在者裏且道即今是悟耶?」是迷耶J40nB494_p0527c11擲下拄杖:「洎合錯下注腳。」

天寧老和尚訃至設供拈香指真云:「者箇老白拈J40nB494_p0527c13平最難測提持綱要手段稱奇呵罵諸方喙長三尺J40nB494_p0527c14是非逆順裏轉大機輪嬉笑嗔怒中施大法則一期J40nB494_p0527c15佛事既周圓聞道安然而坐逝我昔十載侍巾瓶J40nB494_p0527c16今覿面猶不識諸仁要辨淆訛……」遂燒香云:「只此分明J40nB494_p0527c17拈出。」

陞座。「本有家鄉誰能出不由戶現成茶飯奚止鼎鼐J40nB494_p0527c19調和其間宗廟之美百官之富總是你自家屋裏事J40nB494_p0527c20胡為曠安宅而弗居乞食於墦間之際勞你大大小J40nB494_p0527c21一時淚出痛腸都道:『天將以夫子為木鐸若不一J40nB494_p0527c22擊于衛其奈飄零之子不得其門而入東家丘?』只得J40nB494_p0527c23大啟圓通不管鄭聲雅樂要伊入耳懷歸自齊反魯J40nB494_p0527c24到者裏予欲無言伊終不窺室家之好只得循循再J40nB494_p0527c25博之以文約之以禮俾其一入太廟承其祖器J40nB494_p0527c26可坐樂昇平二三子要識是誰家主人公麼?」乃顧左J40nB494_p0527c27右云:「東夷之人也西夷之人也。」
