J40nB494_p0579c04進院日,載商陸護法率姪若士請上堂。乃拈香云:「此J40nB494_p0579c05一瓣香,根盤於天地未生之前,至廣至大,爇向爐中,J40nB494_p0579c06耑伸祝延J40nB494_p0579c07今上皇帝聖壽萬歲,恭願堯風廣被,龍圖與鳳曆長J40nB494_p0579c08春;舜日高懸,玉葉共金枝永茂。此一瓣香,秀發於世J40nB494_p0579c09界已形之後,極精極微,奉為闔邑當道、鄉紳、山主、檀J40nB494_p0579c10越以及本寺耆舊等,伏願以公以正,為J40nB494_p0579c11皇家之柱石;存誠存信,作法苑之屏翰。此一瓣香,名J40nB494_p0579c12不得,狀不得,飲水既已知源,不可當陽諱卻,專為供J40nB494_p0579c13養天山師祖上於下密老和尚,以報先德。此一瓣香,J40nB494_p0579c14靈隱室中親承記莂,天寧堂上重荷栽培,不敢三頭J40nB494_p0579c15兩緒,一統拈來,供養先師上巨下渤先和尚,用酬法J40nB494_p0579c16乳。」斂衣就座。維那白椎云:「法筵龍象眾,當觀第一義。」J40nB494_p0579c17乃云:「若向白椎後觀,早已落七落八,有超越數量底J40nB494_p0579c18漢子出眾相見。」問:「弘開七剎,道攝四流,繼席三峰,頹J40nB494_p0579c19風乞挽。」師云:「不可謂我做天山孫子不得。」進云:「可謂J40nB494_p0579c20象王行處絕狐蹤也。」師云:「恁麼語話,爭奈目前不投J40nB494_p0579c21機?」進云:「不妨大家同喝采去也。」師云:「笑煞兩行大眾。」J40nB494_p0579c22問:「法隨法行,法幢隨處建立,即今祖令當行,如何舉J40nB494_p0579c23唱?」師云:「相見不揚眉,棒下須見血。」進云:「若然,則天山J40nB494_p0579c24一脈,萬古流芳。」師云:「你還照顧頂門得麼?」進云:「一句J40nB494_p0579c25當陽開正眼。」師云:「錯下名言。」僧禮拜云:「某甲專為流J40nB494_p0579c26通。」師云:「且信一半。」問:「開三要印,光耀祖燈於琴水;施J40nB494_p0579c27嚙鏃機,奠安禪鼎於虞峰。盛業巍峨則固是,家風廓J40nB494_p0579c28徹若為論?」師云:「天山老祖猶在。」進云:「與麼則煥古騰J40nB494_p0579c29今去也。」師云:「甚處得這消息來?」進云:「八方霢霂無為J40nB494_p0579c30化,萬國歌謠樂太平。」師云:「賴遇大眾證明。」潘居士問:J40nB494_p0580a01「昔日世尊拈花明示,今日和尚作何宣傳?」師云:「自有J40nB494_p0580a02維摩證盟。」進云:「靈山一會儼然在,今朝覿面又相逢。」J40nB494_p0580a03師云:「相逢底事作麼生?」進云:「九重城裏真消息,直放J40nB494_p0580a04毫光遍九垓。」師云:「原來是不二門外漢。」乃拈拄杖卓J40nB494_p0580a05一下,云:「只這箇,捏聚也雙頭獨結,放開也四法交加,J40nB494_p0580a06從上來事若不用之於今日,恐太平寰宇裏坐底未J40nB494_p0580a07必不是癡頑。故德山棒剪除狂寇,臨濟喝掃蕩欃槍,J40nB494_p0580a08苟非及盡今時,操法柄者那得無過?不見天山師祖J40nB494_p0580a09云:『機先一向是汝諸人安身處,先機一著是汝諸人J40nB494_p0580a10立命處,其間左之右之、或伸或縮是汝諸人踏腳處,J40nB494_p0580a11末後一句是汝諸人出頭處。』」乃云:「天山師祖操不世J40nB494_p0580a12出金鎞,開豁人天眼目,美則美矣,但太虛空裏未免J40nB494_p0580a13翻成途轍。新三峰固是腳下孫子,今日要革轍移途J40nB494_p0580a14與老祖相見。機先一向不許夜行,先機一著投明須J40nB494_p0580a15到其間,左之右之、或伸或縮,饒你十字縱橫也須勘J40nB494_p0580a16過了,打末後一句,何止萬里望鄉關?諸兄弟!天山師J40nB494_p0580a17祖恁麼,新三峰孫子不恁麼,且道還有差別也無?者J40nB494_p0580a18裏撿辨得出,報德酬恩全在今日;其或不爾,不妨為J40nB494_p0580a19你更下箇註腳。」復卓拄杖,云:「但見皇風成一片,不知J40nB494_p0580a20何處有封疆?」結椎,云:「諦觀法王法,法王法如是。」下座。
J40nB494_p0580a21晚參。「上下偷安,最為叢林法門大患,古人言之切矣。J40nB494_p0580a22爾諸人聞之,全不介意,豈佛自懶墯成、道從懈怠得J40nB494_p0580a23耶?且畢竟佛如何成、道如何得呢?若有箇聞恁麼道,J40nB494_p0580a24便掩耳而去,三峰撫掌稱慶。何故?不見道:達磨從西J40nB494_p0580a25天來,覓一箇不受惑底人了不可得。今日得之矣。且J40nB494_p0580a26與麼道,是醍醐語?是毒藥語?」
J40nB494_p0580a27隱蓮菴奇逢大德領景孺人請上堂。「三峰新進院,人J40nB494_p0580a28事實匆忙,驀逢達道者,特地請宣揚。所以考鐘伐鼓,J40nB494_p0580a29高陞曲彔木床,胸次不存元字,徒勞抖擻屎腸。說法J40nB494_p0580a30有所得,是則亂鳴野犴;說法無所得,方為善吼獅王。J40nB494_p0580b01直饒恁麼提唱,須知別有商量,說有說無俱錯,爭如J40nB494_p0580b02一味平常?諸佛機,雲行雨施;祖師意,鳥語花香。目前J40nB494_p0580b03一一皆成現,誰能了此?同來坐夏,消受山中歲月長。」
J40nB494_p0580b04晚參。垂問云:「但莫瞞心,心自靈聖,因甚二祖又要達J40nB494_p0580b05磨安心?」眾荅不契,師遂以竹篦子旋風打云:「是你這J40nB494_p0580b06一隊瞞心昧己底,不打更待何時?」
J40nB494_p0580b07浴佛日,江陰定生禪士領沈同春喬梓寄庫,請上堂。J40nB494_p0580b08問:「指天指地則且置,羅龍打鳳事如何?」師云:「今日打J40nB494_p0580b09著一箇。」進云:「忽有箇眼光爍破四天下底到來,又作J40nB494_p0580b10麼生?」師云:「你道山門前幾人坐臥?」進云:「要明今日事,J40nB494_p0580b11不許外人知。」師云:「賺煞老僧。」僧便喝,師便打。問:「錫標J40nB494_p0580b12邗上,御賜蕭閒,杯渡琴川,有何祥瑞?」師云:「有眼者見。」J40nB494_p0580b13進云:「恁麼則山林增秀,泉石生輝也。」師云:「要且不愜J40nB494_p0580b14山僧意。」進云:「言前已脫常流見,格外須知作者名。」師J40nB494_p0580b15云:「念話社家。」乃云:「今朝四月八,盡道世尊於無憂樹J40nB494_p0580b16下降生,九龍噴水,沐浴金軀,引得諸方依條攀例者,J40nB494_p0580b17或大杓、或小杓,驀頭澆來、倒底洗刮這老漢淨邊垢J40nB494_p0580b18不去。雲門雖則下得手切,其奈鞭長不及馬腹,二千J40nB494_p0580b19餘年流弊若不痛與鏟除,爾諸人但見佛尊、不見己J40nB494_p0580b20尊,一等大丈夫兒氣概盡被他蓋覆。三峰今日要推J40nB494_p0580b21倒過去釋尊、扶起現前諸子,還你一道平等浩然大J40nB494_p0580b22均底世界,有庫藏則聽其開閉、有寶貝則聽其使用,J40nB494_p0580b23更有何高何下、孰尊孰卑?」驀左右顧大眾,云:「你這夥J40nB494_p0580b24久被他壓良底,今日方得吐氣。」
J40nB494_p0580b25晚參。問:「如何是有句?」師擊竹篦一下,云:「轟。」「如何是無J40nB494_p0580b26句?」師云:「徒勞側耳。」「如何是如藤倚樹?」師云:「古今榜樣。」J40nB494_p0580b27「樹倒藤枯,句歸何處?」師云:「隨人語脈轉,豈是作家?」「溈J40nB494_p0580b28山呵呵大笑歸方丈,又作麼生?」師云:「須防爛泥裏有J40nB494_p0580b29刺。」僧禮拜,師云:「會了禮?不會禮?」進云:「總不恁麼。」師云:J40nB494_p0580b30「囫圇吞箇棗,有甚了期?」一僧出,作禮畢,尋依位而立,J40nB494_p0580c01師云:「昔二祖依位而立,達磨謂之得髓,你今日得箇J40nB494_p0580c02甚麼?」進云:「莫惑亂人好。」師云:「毛也未到你在。」乃舉:「東J40nB494_p0580c03山演祖示眾云:『舉則公案事事成辦,向外馳求是大J40nB494_p0580c04癡漢,大小東山生捺人向死水裏,全沒些子活變。』三J40nB494_p0580c05峰則不然,現成公案不勞幹辦,卻怪古人欺胡瞞漢,J40nB494_p0580c06縱然歇得不馳求,也是秦時轢𨍏鑽。」
J40nB494_p0580c07結夏日說沙彌戒,眾信請上堂。問:「禪律並行時如何?」J40nB494_p0580c08師云:「一箭兩垛。」進云:「忽遇南泉斬貓又作麼生?」師云:J40nB494_p0580c09「莫理會。」進云:「恁麼則血濺袈裟角也。」師便打,乃云:「九J40nB494_p0580c10旬禁足,良馬困鹽車;三月安居,黑牛眠止水。十方三J40nB494_p0580c11世是甚麼破草鞋?圓覺伽藍只當得閒家具。若是箇J40nB494_p0580c12時中不依倚一物底,直下掀翻釋迦老子二千餘年J40nB494_p0580c13舊案,三峰捏琴水虞山作一箇餬餅奉供,一任橫咬J40nB494_p0580c14豎咬,有朝咬得破,方知盡大地是箇餬餅。奇哉!杜順J40nB494_p0580c15和尚有云:『嘉州牛喫禾,益州馬腹脹,天下覓醫人,灸J40nB494_p0580c16豬左膞上。』草木為之稽首,土石因而發光。南無佛陀!J40nB494_p0580c17南無達磨!南無僧伽!主張禪波羅密底與他一分,主J40nB494_p0580c18張戒波羅密底亦與他一分,其餘三德六味,一任諸J40nB494_p0580c19人飽便休。雖然,說得一丈,不若行取一尺。馬駒踏殺J40nB494_p0580c20天下人,臨濟未是白拈賊,入到手中若不轉換,落落J40nB494_p0580c21地朗州山、澧州水,觸處皆為礙眼之物,怎禁得諸方J40nB494_p0580c22老古錐嗤你為喫飯保?三峰從不小當人,且選佛場J40nB494_p0580c23中得甲科,誰當第一?」良久,云:「吾將斫額望之。」
J40nB494_p0580c24晚參。僧纔出,師云:「趙州來也。」僧云:「和尚莫眼花。」便歸J40nB494_p0580c25位。師云:「我眼不花,卻是上座腳跟不穩。」乃云:「祖師西J40nB494_p0580c26來,凡有所說,皆是鐃鉤搭索,直處反成曲也。三峰院J40nB494_p0580c27裏日逐事生,闍黎朝演毘尼,老僧晚參示眾。若作佛J40nB494_p0580c28法商量,我也沒量罪過,你也沒量罪過。」
J40nB494_p0580c29說菩薩戒日,山主趙讓卿伯仲請上堂。問:「尸羅玅法J40nB494_p0580c30驗在目前,少室宗乘請師垂範。」師云:「已看時雨潤。」進J40nB494_p0581a01云:「言下頓開千聖眼,鋒前已泄法王機。」師云:「更聽好J40nB494_p0581a02風來。」進云:「可謂分明一點真消息,獨露當陽幾箇知?」J40nB494_p0581a03師云:「上座還知也未?」進云:「目擊普天飛化雨,一花開J40nB494_p0581a04遍少林春。」師云:「老胡有望也。」乃云:「山靜如太古,日長J40nB494_p0581a05似小年,就片石打眠、撫喬松遣興,固是新三峰樂事J40nB494_p0581a06也。爾諸人入門若不辨主,烏目澗邊雲、鵓鴿峰頭月,J40nB494_p0581a07往往都作境話會去,那知一塵一佛國、一葉一釋迦J40nB494_p0581a08為吾家秘密宗乘?所以,佛傳佛、祖授祖,苟非善別機J40nB494_p0581a09宜,昨日比丘僧喫茶去、今朝菩薩子噇飯來,善法堂J40nB494_p0581a10前如打口令相似,客中主尚不能辨,何況說起主中J40nB494_p0581a11主?而今迦葉真宗、波離要旨總不問你。」驀以拂子擊J40nB494_p0581a12一下,云:「但望踏著這方地面,庶不負定光金錫遙招J40nB494_p0581a13手也。眾中還有解豎點首底也無?」良久,云:「三十年後J40nB494_p0581a14莫道礙眼,不是木頭好。」
J40nB494_p0581a15晚參。問:「大海枯竭時如何?」師云:「魚鱉蝦蟹向甚處著?」J40nB494_p0581a16僧便喝,師云:「一任𨁝跳。」僧禮拜,師打,云:「死蝦蟆。」乃云:J40nB494_p0581a17「他未彰名,予不能取,堪笑俱胝只豎一指,自謂如吞J40nB494_p0581a18全牛咽巨臠,那知活蛇反弄成死?三峰不辭手腳勞,J40nB494_p0581a19拔出諸人眼裏刺。」
J40nB494_p0581a20立秋日解夏,師回天寧,兩序請上堂。「一葉落,天下秋,J40nB494_p0581a21九旬聖制,倏矣云周。圓覺伽藍,十方無壁落;芒鞋竹J40nB494_p0581a22杖,四海任優游。山水鍾情底,未為達士;州縣踏白底,J40nB494_p0581a23豈是高流?果能於腳跟不動時捉敗善財童子、目睛J40nB494_p0581a24未轉處擒下德雲比丘,不須百城尋知己,便請坐地J40nB494_p0581a25看揚州。看則且置,且道彌勒樓閣前有幾人坐臥?向J40nB494_p0581a26者裏道得一句,一任朝遊檀特、暮宿羅浮。不然,且請J40nB494_p0581a27拗折拄杖、放下蒲團,向三峰院裏度春秋。」
J40nB494_p0581a28晚參。舉:「昔青林虔和尚,凡有僧到,先要挑柴三轉。有J40nB494_p0581a29新到,問:『三轉內則不問,三轉外事如何?』虔云:『鐵輪天J40nB494_p0581a30子寰中敕。』」乃云:「青林甚生意氣,要且只解作主,不解J40nB494_p0581b01作賓。或有人問,山僧只向道:『起動闍黎。』他若知機,自J40nB494_p0581b02甘服勤三峰門下。何以故?理能伏豹。」
J40nB494_p0581b03師還山日,聞修闍黎請上堂。問:「高提祖印即不問,重J40nB494_p0581b04振家風事若何?」師云:「獨坐古三峰。」進云:「鵓鴿峰千岐J40nB494_p0581b05把住,烏目澗一線流通,是神通?是法爾?」師云:「山僧從J40nB494_p0581b06不把境話示人。」進云:「佛令祖令總屬吾師,向上一句J40nB494_p0581b07更請垂示。」師便打。進云:「恁麼則天山一滴清涼水,流J40nB494_p0581b08出滹沱萬派長。」師云:「且喜你領話。」問:「祖域重光則且J40nB494_p0581b09置,應時及節事如何?」師云:「春雨滑如油。」進云:「恁麼則J40nB494_p0581b10還鄉一曲殆非今古也。」師云:「待百草生芽即向你道。」J40nB494_p0581b11乃云:「若論此事,有似遠客還山,扶杖入門,處處林巒J40nB494_p0581b12依舊;披衣得座,頭頭風月長新。說箇田地穩密,佛祖J40nB494_p0581b13不能近,已屬剩語;更云神通游戲,鬼神不能測,早涉J40nB494_p0581b14繁辭。箇般漢都緣於那邊不曾透過,卻來這邊妄擬,J40nB494_p0581b15威音面目描也描不成,空劫爪牙畫也畫不就,雖則J40nB494_p0581b16依稀越國、彷彿揚州,其奈路途之樂終未到家,見解J40nB494_p0581b17入微不名見道。若是箇不涉程途、直登寶所底,大地J40nB494_p0581b18山河全歸掌握,森羅萬象悉聽指呼,到者裏方許來J40nB494_p0581b19三峰院裏喫清水白米飯,共山僧過夏。何以故?不見J40nB494_p0581b20道:有功者賞。」下座。
J40nB494_p0581b21晚參。舉:「汾陽昭祖示眾云:『識得拄杖子,一生參學事J40nB494_p0581b22畢。』爾諸人作麼生會?」一僧應聲云:「識得拄杖子,入地J40nB494_p0581b23獄如箭射。」師云:「你見甚麼道理便與麼道?」僧無語。師J40nB494_p0581b24命眾代。一云:「識取鉤頭意,莫認定盤星。」一云:「從門入J40nB494_p0581b25者,不是家珍。」一云:「丈夫自有沖霄志,不向他人行處J40nB494_p0581b26行。」一云:「不可總作野狐精見解。」一云:「鸞鳳不棲荊棘J40nB494_p0581b27樹。」一云:「金屑雖貴,落眼成翳。」一云:「獅子咬人,韓盧逐J40nB494_p0581b28塊。」一云:「死水不藏龍。」僧補前語云:「纔有一絲頭,便是J40nB494_p0581b29一絲頭。」師云:「總是館驛前一夥撮馬糞的漢。」遂擲下J40nB494_p0581b30拄杖,便歸方丈。
J40nB494_p0581c01莘田蔣學憲誕日,建大悲、華嚴兩道場,請上堂。問:「三J40nB494_p0581c02七薰修,功圓果滿,作麼說箇喬松千古茂,日月永長J40nB494_p0581c03明底事?」師云:「人傳大椿以八千年為春,堪為比並否?」J40nB494_p0581c04進云:「若然,則常將日月為天眼,指出須彌作壽山。」師J40nB494_p0581c05云:「莊生此語垂下二千餘年也。」進云:「愛日舒光人共J40nB494_p0581c06仰,冰壺發燄有誰知?」師云:「慎莫浪流傳。」僧顧左右,云:J40nB494_p0581c07「大眾一齊高著眼,謾教錯過目前機。」師云:「自知較一J40nB494_p0581c08半。」問:「十兆餘言即不問,八十一軸事如何?」師云:「公案J40nB494_p0581c09現在。」進云:「秪如古人問三千諸佛,道箇黃鶴樓中題J40nB494_p0581c10詩句,是何旨趣?」師云:「與你猶隔津在。」僧擬議,師便打,J40nB494_p0581c11乃云:「率陀境界,信非常情所測。據說人間四百年,彼J40nB494_p0581c12天為一晝夜,雖則玄風永扇、慧日長光,要且猶落數J40nB494_p0581c13量在。爭如我佛廣演華嚴,撤三乘之見網,謂成佛不J40nB494_p0581c14待歷三大僧,祗但一念相應即證無量道果,任他劫J40nB494_p0581c15數之長短、世界之闊狹,總不出一剎那際三昧。故棗J40nB494_p0581c16柏云:『十世古今,始終不離於當念;無邊剎海,自他不J40nB494_p0581c17隔於毫端。』更說甚然燈居先、彌勒落後?」驀拈拂子,云:J40nB494_p0581c18「試看者箇始自鷲嶺分燈之後、少林傳芳以來,恒以J40nB494_p0581c19深心密願於剎那際中廣作佛事,有時以大悲心梯J40nB494_p0581c20航九有、有時以大智力拔濟群生,縱饒虛空有盡、滄J40nB494_p0581c21海有盡,而斯人之誓願無盡。且道憑何薰修而得臻J40nB494_p0581c22此?」良久,云:「且待須臾,自當證知。」
J40nB494_p0581c23普請摘茶次,師垂問云:「直截根源佛所印,摘葉尋枝J40nB494_p0581c24我不能。古人既有明訓,諸仁因甚卻犯他忌諱?」眾荅J40nB494_p0581c25不契,師代云:「為眾竭力。」又云:「三峰門下。」又云:「替和尚J40nB494_p0581c26出一隻手。」有僧問:「狗子因甚無佛性?」師云:「不為分外。」J40nB494_p0581c27僧云:「因甚又道有?」師云:「莫隨他舌根轉。」又僧問:「黃檗J40nB494_p0581c28打臨濟三頓痛棒,意旨如何?」師云:「徹骨徹髓。」僧禮拜,J40nB494_p0581c29師云:「念你是新戒,且放過一頓。」
J40nB494_p0581c30玅宗上座領謝守之居士請上堂。問:「宅破家亡,阿誰J40nB494_p0582a01是主?」師云:「鬍張三,黑李四。」進云:「掛拂捲席,因甚不住?」J40nB494_p0582a02師云:「長安雖好,不是久居。」進云:「縫開楔棒時如何?」師J40nB494_p0582a03云:「功不浪施。」進云:「三問已蒙師指示,向上宗乘又若J40nB494_p0582a04何?」師云:「離波覓水是大癡漢。」問:「四十九年栽花石上,J40nB494_p0582a05三百餘會著楔空中,今日和尚寶座高陞,未審又圖J40nB494_p0582a06箇甚麼?」師云:「洎被上座拶上壁。」進云:「莫便是和尚機J40nB494_p0582a07用麼?」師云:「聽事不真,喚鐘作甕。」進云:「可謂尋常一樣J40nB494_p0582a08窗前月,纔有梅花便不同。」師云:「閒言語拈過一邊,直J40nB494_p0582a09截處道將來。」僧便喝,師云:「兩重公案。」進云:「不入虎穴,J40nB494_p0582a10焉得虎子?」師云:「三十棒留與明日打。」乃云:「昨夜舜若J40nB494_p0582a11多神在虛空裏揚聲高叫曰:『我有時乍雨乍晴天莫J40nB494_p0582a12測。』泰山石敢當坐平地上,遂應聲和曰:『我有時或凡J40nB494_p0582a13或聖人難識。』各各道了,復相共耳語曰:『大清國裏禪J40nB494_p0582a14和子罕有湊吾輩機者。』山僧木上座忍憤不過,向前J40nB494_p0582a15一時穿卻二公鼻孔,拽來三峰院裏,先問舜若多曰:J40nB494_p0582a16『秪如昨日晴、今日雨是甚麼法中收?試道看。』次問石J40nB494_p0582a17敢當曰:『不用愛聖,聖是空名;不用憎凡,凡是妄立。快J40nB494_p0582a18語來。』二公未及對,無端被帝釋尊者天耳遙聞,乃歎J40nB494_p0582a19曰:『大智哉!從今大清國裏永無妄自稱尊者。』木上座J40nB494_p0582a20卒然聞得,乃呵呵大笑曰:『尊者莫寐語,任你讚過三J40nB494_p0582a21十三天,要不過逢場作戲耳。』」卓拄杖下座。
J40nB494_p0582a22中和、淨戒二禪人同請上堂。問:「適纔伐鼓考鐘,地搖J40nB494_p0582a23六震;今復高陞寶座,天雨四花。為是鋪花錦上?為是J40nB494_p0582a24好肉剜瘡?」師云:「莫塗污我耳。」進云:「竿頭絲線從師弄,J40nB494_p0582a25不犯清波意自殊。」師云:「圖度極矣。」進云:「別轉機輪,請J40nB494_p0582a26師再道。」師便喝,僧亦喝,師便打。問:「如何是虞山境?」師J40nB494_p0582a27云:「鵓鴿峰頭雲靉靆。」「如何是境中人?」師云:「清涼禪子J40nB494_p0582a28鼻昂藏。」「境與人相去多少?」師云:「曾有人問我,直得五J40nB494_p0582a29年分疏不下。」乃云:「不見一法,是大過患。諸兄弟!山河J40nB494_p0582a30大地是法、日月星辰是法、草木叢林是法、鱗甲羽毛J40nB494_p0582b01是法,既一切是法,作麼說不見?若見,刺腦入膠盆;不J40nB494_p0582b02見,又道成大過患。有鼻孔撩天的,向者裏道得箇脫J40nB494_p0582b03體句,鼓聲咬破我七條,穿卻韶陽老人鼻孔,庶幾西J40nB494_p0582b04天東土不致寂寞。不然,缽盂口向天,豈不礙塞殺人。」
J40nB494_p0582b05說比丘戒日,玅宗禪師領瞿孺人請上堂。問:「承古有J40nB494_p0582b06言:目前無闍黎,那箇是賓?」師云:「賊身已露。」「此間無老J40nB494_p0582b07僧,阿誰是主?」師云:「擬瞞三峰那?」「十方國土中唯有一J40nB494_p0582b08乘法,何者是權?」師豎起拄杖。「但以假名字引導於眾J40nB494_p0582b09生,何者是實?」師云:「識得即知落處。」「不許夜行剛把火,J40nB494_p0582b10以何為照?」師云:「看破闍黎。」「直須當道與人看,以何為J40nB494_p0582b11用?」師便打。進云:「法令已行。」後語稍遲,師打,云:「末後不J40nB494_p0582b12來,猶虧一半。」問:「高沙彌不登壇,盧行者不祝髮,如何J40nB494_p0582b13是戒?」師云:「少間驗取。」「世尊說一大藏教,盡成虛設;祖J40nB494_p0582b14師留千七百則公案,猶是葛藤。如何是禪?」師云:「目前J40nB494_p0582b15可鑑。」「窮諸玄辯,若一毫置於太虛;竭世樞機,似一滴J40nB494_p0582b16投於巨壑。如何是教?」師云:「釋迦四十九年不曾說著J40nB494_p0582b17一字。」進云:「恁麼則一枝無孔笛,吹出許多般。」師云:「罕J40nB494_p0582b18遇知音。」問:「七聚五篇即不問,缽盂分付事如何?」師云:J40nB494_p0582b19「試過手來。」進云:「忽遇箇裂碎袈裟、撲破缽盂底到來,J40nB494_p0582b20又作麼生?」師云:「情知你孟浪。」進云:「好手手中呈好手,J40nB494_p0582b21紅心心裏中紅心。」師云:「七棒對十三。」乃云:「巖寺春晴,J40nB494_p0582b22野花開似錦,人人眼裏有睛。未達境惟心,起種種分J40nB494_p0582b23別;達境惟心已,分別即不生。分別既不生,即今風動J40nB494_p0582b24塵起、鳥啼花落,是境?不是境?若是境,且道:即心起耶?J40nB494_p0582b25離心起耶?果是箇機先得路底,兩隻芒鞋踏遍四五J40nB494_p0582b26百條花柳巷,一條拄杖穿過二三千處管絃樓,何處J40nB494_p0582b27不是本地風光?那待見絕玄微、語離滲漏,方謂之到J40nB494_p0582b28無為安樂之鄉?秪如即今具三千威儀、八萬細行底J40nB494_p0582b29簇簇上來,又如何分付?」遂擲下拂子,云:「透過祖師關J40nB494_p0582b30捩子,始信山河非眼睛。」
J40nB494_p0582c01佛誕日,圓菩薩戒兼付法孫六吉居士請上堂。問:「三J40nB494_p0582c02十二相,攙倒浣盆描不就;八十種好,蘸乾香水盡難J40nB494_p0582c03成。正恁麼時,獨尊之旨向甚麼處著?」師云:「三峰只管J40nB494_p0582c04看。」進云:「脫珍御,著弊垢,又圖箇甚麼?」師云:「秪為老婆J40nB494_p0582c05心切。」進云:「二千年前事,今日已見端倪。」師云:「未信你J40nB494_p0582c06在。」僧便喝,師打,云:「討棒喫。」乃云:「未離兜率,已降王宮;J40nB494_p0582c07未出母胎,度人已畢。大小棗柏,只見錐頭利,不見鑿J40nB494_p0582c08頭方。殊不知釋迦老子是箇脫珍御服、著弊垢衣、入J40nB494_p0582c09泥入水為人底漢。雖契經有云:『淨法界身,本無出沒。』J40nB494_p0582c10然菩薩若不行於非道,則不名通達佛道。據實而論,J40nB494_p0582c11兜率內院既有護明大士,淨梵王宮不可無悉達太J40nB494_p0582c12子,周行目顧自他,降神出胎,說青道黃,還伊度人,說J40nB494_p0582c13法是法,仍住法位,原不移易他一絲毫許,也省得一J40nB494_p0582c14輩狹劣凡夫大驚小怪。今日是他二千餘年前降誕J40nB494_p0582c15之辰,三峰依條攀例,驀頭與他一杓。爾諸人若不當J40nB494_p0582c16兒戲,則經有經師、律有律師,從茲玄風永扇、慧日長J40nB494_p0582c17光,威儀濟濟底嚴淨毘尼、意氣昂昂底弘揚祖道,各J40nB494_p0582c18期勵志扶宗、報佛恩德,何難上古風規不見於今日J40nB494_p0582c19哉?即今時至理彰,且作麼道一句為之表信?」乃揮拂J40nB494_p0582c20子,云:「好看法苑騰佳氣,優缽花開遍界春。」
J40nB494_p0582c21汪門佘孺人初度,請上堂。問:「遊戲神通底為甚下腳J40nB494_p0582c22不得?」師云:「花須連夜發,莫待曉風吹。」進云:「田地穩密J40nB494_p0582c23底為甚抬腳不起?」師云:「寸釘入木。」進云:「只此二句,還J40nB494_p0582c24有優劣也無?」師云:「有。」進云:「不妨拈出大家看。」師便打。J40nB494_p0582c25問:「烏目澗晝夜潺湲,鵓鴿峰古今蒼翠,未審拄杖子J40nB494_p0582c26壽量幾何?」師云:「亙古亙今。」進云:「崗陵之喻、松柏之章,J40nB494_p0582c27拈向一邊,和尚將何慶祝?」師云:「何不領取前話?」進云:J40nB494_p0582c28「某甲則不然。」師云:「試杜撰看。」進云:「打翻日月開天眼,J40nB494_p0582c29踢倒須彌見壽山。」師云:「且過一邊著。」乃云:「少室峰前J40nB494_p0582c30不存聖諦,曹溪路上豈著俗談?上古風規既在即今,J40nB494_p0583a01考鐘伐鼓又發明箇甚麼?」驀拈拄杖,云:「看!看!無位真J40nB494_p0583a02人來也,說道赤肉團上壁立萬仞,任是八臂那吒撲J40nB494_p0583a03不破,都道理隨事變、事得理融。蟠桃三千年一度開J40nB494_p0583a04花,猶落人間數量,要續我佛慧命,苟非明生生不息J40nB494_p0583a05之機,那能會萬物為一己?」復卓拄杖一下,云:「一生二,J40nB494_p0583a06二生三,三生萬物,如是則生生不息也。且道還假權J40nB494_p0583a07實照用也無?」良久,云:「三千里外絕淆訛。」
J40nB494_p0583a08立夏日,朱華甫居士為母誕日請上堂。問:「世尊說不J40nB494_p0583a09著的,和尚作麼生說?」師云:「諦聽,諦聽。」進云:「祖師行不J40nB494_p0583a10到的又作麼生行?」師云:「快走,快走。」進云:「分明一句無J40nB494_p0583a11私語,顯發須憑過量人。」師云:「直饒將來,他亦不受。」問:J40nB494_p0583a12「山花郁郁,幽鳥喃喃,佛祖機關盡成露布,請和尚蓋J40nB494_p0583a13覆著。」師云:「三峰有眼不曾見。」進云:「果然蓋色騎聲,超J40nB494_p0583a14佛越祖。」師云:「失口道著。」乃云:「大道無拘,觸處成現,一J40nB494_p0583a15塵一剎一如來,一葉一花一世界,盡謂諸佛眾生一J40nB494_p0583a16有多種,誰識聖人凡夫二無兩般?明之者,鎔瓶盂釵J40nB494_p0583a17釧為一金;證之者,攪酥酪醍醐為一味。如水合水以J40nB494_p0583a18無異,似空合空而不分。所以欲識佛性義,當觀時節J40nB494_p0583a19因緣。時節若至,其理自彰。即今三春已過,九夏初臨,J40nB494_p0583a20陰陰夏木全彰堅固法身,漠漠水田永續綿長慧命,J40nB494_p0583a21亙古今了無變異,窮天地毫沒遮攔。且道如此提唱,J40nB494_p0583a22是佛法商量?是世諦流布?」驀喝一喝,云:「須識壺中日J40nB494_p0583a23月長。」
J40nB494_p0583a24謝聖恩老和尚齋,上堂。舉:「昔演祖偈云:『山前一片閒J40nB494_p0583a25田地,叉手叮嚀問祖翁,幾度賣來還自買,為憐松竹J40nB494_p0583a26引清風。』沒量大人被片閒田地使得七上八落,雖引J40nB494_p0583a27得些松竹清風,何能濟叢林實事?爭似我聖恩法叔J40nB494_p0583a28自到祖翁地上,金鋤不動,靈苗自生,今以玉粒炊香J40nB494_p0583a29餉我,一眾不信,但看缽裏飯、碗裏羹從何處得來?諸J40nB494_p0583a30仁能下得口,不惟芬生齒頰,抑且甘潤咽喉,人人一J40nB494_p0583b01飽忘饑,不異雪峰、鰲山成道時也。直饒金牛托出法J40nB494_p0583b02堂底應難媲美,維摩擎來香積底未易較優,自非真J40nB494_p0583b03慈注念、普行存心,何能有此盛作?爾諸大德有向食J40nB494_p0583b04堂裏道得箇慶讚句,庶博山頭和尚熙怡一笑,不然J40nB494_p0583b05端坐受供養,豈不慚惶殺人?」
