進院日載商陸護法率姪若士請上堂乃拈香云:「J40nB494_p0579c05一瓣香根盤於天地未生之前至廣至大爇向爐中J40nB494_p0579c06耑伸祝延J40nB494_p0579c07今上皇帝聖壽萬歲恭願堯風廣被龍圖與鳳曆長J40nB494_p0579c08舜日高懸玉葉共金枝永茂此一瓣香秀發於世J40nB494_p0579c09形之後極精極微奉為闔邑當道鄉紳山主J40nB494_p0579c10越以及本寺耆舊等伏願以公以正J40nB494_p0579c11皇家之柱石存誠存信作法苑之屏翰此一瓣香J40nB494_p0579c12不得狀不得飲水既已知源不可當陽諱卻專為供J40nB494_p0579c13養天山師祖上於下密老和尚以報先德此一瓣香J40nB494_p0579c14靈隱室中親承記莂天寧堂上重荷栽培不敢三頭J40nB494_p0579c15兩緒一統拈來供養先師上巨下渤先和尚用酬法J40nB494_p0579c16。」衣就座維那白椎云:「法筵龍象眾當觀第一義。」J40nB494_p0579c17乃云:「若向白椎後觀落七落八有超越數量底J40nB494_p0579c18漢子出眾相見。」:「弘開七剎道攝四流繼席三峰J40nB494_p0579c19風乞挽。」師云:「不可謂我做天山孫子不得。」進云:「可謂J40nB494_p0579c20象王行處絕狐蹤也。」師云:「恁麼語話爭奈目前不投J40nB494_p0579c21?」進云:「不妨大家同喝采去也。」師云:「笑煞兩行大眾。」J40nB494_p0579c22:「法隨法行法幢隨處建立即今祖令當行如何舉J40nB494_p0579c23?」師云:「相見不揚眉棒下須見血。」進云:「若然則天山J40nB494_p0579c24一脈萬古流芳。」師云:「你還照顧頂門得麼?」進云:「一句J40nB494_p0579c25當陽開正眼。」師云:「錯下名言。」僧禮拜云:「某甲專為流J40nB494_p0579c26。」師云:「且信一半。」:「開三要印光耀祖燈於琴水J40nB494_p0579c27嚙鏃機奠安禪鼎於虞峰盛業巍峨則固是家風廓J40nB494_p0579c28徹若為論?」師云:「天山老祖猶在。」進云:「與麼則煥古騰J40nB494_p0579c29今去也。」師云:「甚處得這消息來?」進云:「八方霢霂無為J40nB494_p0579c30萬國歌謠樂太平。」師云:「賴遇大眾證明。」潘居士問J40nB494_p0580a01昔日世尊拈花明示今日和尚作何宣傳?」師云:「自有J40nB494_p0580a02維摩證盟。」進云:「靈山一會儼然在今朝覿面又相逢。」J40nB494_p0580a03師云:「相逢底事作麼生?」進云:「九重城裏真消息直放J40nB494_p0580a04毫光遍九垓。」師云:「原來是不二門外漢。」乃拈拄杖卓J40nB494_p0580a05一下:「只這箇捏聚也雙頭獨結放開也四法交加J40nB494_p0580a06從上來事若不用之於今日恐太平寰宇裏坐底未J40nB494_p0580a07必不是癡頑故德山棒剪除狂寇臨濟喝掃蕩欃槍J40nB494_p0580a08苟非及盡今時操法柄者那得無過不見天山師祖J40nB494_p0580a09:『機先一向是汝諸人安身處先機一著是汝諸人J40nB494_p0580a10立命處其間左之右之或伸或縮是汝諸人踏腳處J40nB494_p0580a11末後一句是汝諸人出頭處。』」乃云:「天山師祖操不世J40nB494_p0580a12出金鎞開豁人天眼目美則美矣但太虛空裏未免J40nB494_p0580a13翻成途轍新三峰固是腳下孫子今日要革轍移途J40nB494_p0580a14與老祖相見機先一向不許夜行先機一著投明須J40nB494_p0580a15到其間左之右之或伸或縮饒你十字縱橫也須勘J40nB494_p0580a16過了打末後一句何止萬里望鄉關諸兄弟天山師J40nB494_p0580a17祖恁麼新三峰孫子不恁麼且道還有差別也無J40nB494_p0580a18裏撿辨得出報德酬恩全在今日其或不爾不妨為J40nB494_p0580a19你更下箇註腳。」復卓拄杖:「但見皇風成一片不知J40nB494_p0580a20何處有封疆?」結椎:「諦觀法王法法王法如是。」下座

晚參。「上下偷安最為叢林法門大患古人言之切矣J40nB494_p0580a22爾諸人聞之全不介意豈佛自懶墯成道從懈怠得J40nB494_p0580a23且畢竟佛如何成道如何得呢若有箇聞恁麼道J40nB494_p0580a24便掩耳而去三峰撫掌稱慶何故不見道達磨從西J40nB494_p0580a25天來覓一箇不受惑底人了不可得今日得之矣J40nB494_p0580a26與麼道是醍醐語是毒藥語?」

隱蓮菴奇逢大德領景孺人請上堂。「三峰新進院J40nB494_p0580a28事實匆忙驀逢達道者特地請宣揚所以考鐘伐鼓J40nB494_p0580a29高陞曲彔木床胸次不存元字徒勞抖擻屎腸說法J40nB494_p0580a30有所得是則亂鳴野犴說法無所得方為善吼獅王J40nB494_p0580b01直饒恁麼提唱須知別有商量說有說無俱錯爭如J40nB494_p0580b02一味平常諸佛機雲行雨施祖師意鳥語花香目前J40nB494_p0580b03一一皆成現誰能了此同來坐夏消受山中歲月長。」

晚參垂問云:「但莫瞞心心自靈聖因甚二祖又要達J40nB494_p0580b05磨安心?」眾荅不契師遂以竹篦子旋風打云:「是你這J40nB494_p0580b06一隊瞞心昧不打更待何時?」

浴佛日江陰定生禪士領沈同春喬梓寄庫請上堂J40nB494_p0580b08:「指天指地則且置羅龍打鳳事如何?」師云:「今日打J40nB494_p0580b09著一箇。」進云:「忽有箇眼光爍破四天下底到來又作J40nB494_p0580b10麼生?」師云:「你道山門前幾人坐臥?」進云:「要明今日事J40nB494_p0580b11不許外人知。」師云:「賺煞老僧。」僧便喝師便打:「錫標J40nB494_p0580b12御賜蕭閒杯渡琴川有何祥瑞?」師云:「有眼者見。」J40nB494_p0580b13進云:「恁麼則山林增秀泉石生輝也。」師云:「要且不愜J40nB494_p0580b14山僧意。」進云:「言前脫常流見格外須知作者名。」J40nB494_p0580b15:「念話社家。」乃云:「今朝四月八盡道世尊於無憂樹J40nB494_p0580b16下降生九龍噴水沐浴金軀引得諸方依條攀例者J40nB494_p0580b17或大杓或小杓驀頭澆來倒底洗刮這老漢淨邊垢J40nB494_p0580b18不去雲門雖則下得手切其奈鞭長不及馬腹二千J40nB494_p0580b19餘年流弊若不痛與鏟除爾諸人但見佛尊不見J40nB494_p0580b20一等大丈夫兒氣概盡被他蓋覆三峰今日要推J40nB494_p0580b21倒過去釋尊扶起現前諸子還你一道平等浩然大J40nB494_p0580b22均底世界有庫藏則聽其開閉有寶貝則聽其使用J40nB494_p0580b23更有何高何下孰尊孰卑?」驀左右顧大眾:「你這夥J40nB494_p0580b24久被他壓良底今日方得吐氣。」

晚參:「如何是有句?」師擊竹篦一下:「。」「如何是無J40nB494_p0580b26?」師云:「徒勞側耳。」「如何是如藤倚樹?」師云:「古今榜樣。」J40nB494_p0580b27樹倒藤枯句歸何處?」師云:「隨人語脈轉豈是作家?」「J40nB494_p0580b28山呵呵大笑歸方丈又作麼生?」師云:「須防爛泥裏有J40nB494_p0580b29。」僧禮拜師云:「會了禮不會禮?」進云:「總不恁麼。」師云J40nB494_p0580b30囫圇吞箇棗有甚了期?」一僧出作禮畢尋依位而立J40nB494_p0580c01師云:「昔二祖依位而立達磨謂之得髓你今日得箇J40nB494_p0580c02甚麼?」進云:「莫惑亂人好。」師云:「毛也未到你在。」乃舉:「J40nB494_p0580c03山演祖示眾云:『舉則公案事事成辦向外馳求是大J40nB494_p0580c04癡漢大小東山生捺人向死水裏全沒些子活變。』J40nB494_p0580c05峰則不然現成公案不勞幹辦卻怪古人欺胡瞞漢J40nB494_p0580c06縱然歇得不馳求也是秦時轢𨍏。」

結夏日說沙彌戒眾信請上堂:「禪律並行時如何?」J40nB494_p0580c08師云:「一箭兩垛。」進云:「忽遇南泉斬貓又作麼生?」師云J40nB494_p0580c09莫理會。」進云:「恁麼則血濺袈裟角也。」師便打乃云:「J40nB494_p0580c10旬禁足良馬困鹽車三月安居黑牛眠止水十方三J40nB494_p0580c11世是甚麼破草鞋圓覺伽藍只當得閒家具若是箇J40nB494_p0580c12時中不依倚一物底直下掀翻釋迦老子二千餘年J40nB494_p0580c13舊案三峰捏琴水虞山作一箇餬餅奉供一任橫咬J40nB494_p0580c14豎咬有朝咬得破方知盡大地是箇餬餅奇哉杜順J40nB494_p0580c15和尚有云:『嘉州牛喫禾益州馬腹脹天下覓醫人J40nB494_p0580c16豬左膞上。』草木為之稽首土石因而發光南無佛陀J40nB494_p0580c17南無達磨南無僧伽主張禪波羅密底與他一分J40nB494_p0580c18張戒波羅密底亦與他一分其餘三德六味一任諸J40nB494_p0580c19人飽便休雖然說得一丈不若行取一尺馬駒踏殺J40nB494_p0580c20天下人臨濟未是白拈賊入到手中若不轉換落落J40nB494_p0580c21地朗州山澧州水觸處皆為礙眼之物怎禁得諸方J40nB494_p0580c22老古錐嗤你為喫飯保三峰從不小當人且選佛場J40nB494_p0580c23中得甲科誰當第一?」良久:「吾將斫額望之。」

晚參僧纔出師云:「趙州來也。」僧云:「和尚莫眼花。」便歸J40nB494_p0580c25師云:「我眼不花卻是上座腳跟不穩。」乃云:「祖師西J40nB494_p0580c26凡有所說皆是鐃鉤搭索直處反成曲也三峰院J40nB494_p0580c27裏日逐事生闍黎朝演毘尼老僧晚參示眾若作佛J40nB494_p0580c28法商量我也沒量罪過你也沒量罪過。」

說菩薩戒日山主趙讓卿伯仲請上堂:「尸羅玅法J40nB494_p0580c30驗在目前少室宗乘請師垂範。」師云:「看時雨潤。」J40nB494_p0581a01:「言下頓開千聖眼鋒前已泄法王機。」師云:「更聽好J40nB494_p0581a02風來。」進云:「可謂分明一點真消息獨露當陽幾箇知?」J40nB494_p0581a03師云:「上座還知也未?」進云:「目擊普天飛化雨一花開J40nB494_p0581a04遍少林春。」師云:「老胡有望也。」乃云:「山靜如太古日長J40nB494_p0581a05似小年就片石打眠撫喬松遣興固是新三峰樂事J40nB494_p0581a06爾諸人入門若不辨主烏目澗邊雲鵓鴿峰頭月J40nB494_p0581a07往往都作境話會去那知一塵一佛國一葉一釋迦J40nB494_p0581a08為吾家秘密宗乘所以佛傳佛祖授祖苟非善別機J40nB494_p0581a09昨日比丘僧喫茶去今朝菩薩子噇飯來善法堂J40nB494_p0581a10前如打口令相似客中主尚不能辨何況說起主中J40nB494_p0581a11而今迦葉真宗波離要旨總不問你。」驀以拂子擊J40nB494_p0581a12一下:「但望踏著這方地面庶不負定光金錫遙招J40nB494_p0581a13手也眾中還有解豎點首底也無?」良久:「三十年後J40nB494_p0581a14莫道礙眼不是木頭好。」

晚參:「大海枯竭時如何?」師云:「魚鱉蝦蟹向甚處著?」J40nB494_p0581a16僧便喝師云:「一任𨁝。」僧禮拜師打:「死蝦蟆。」乃云J40nB494_p0581a17他未彰名予不能取堪笑俱胝只豎一指自謂如吞J40nB494_p0581a18全牛咽巨臠那知活蛇反弄成死三峰不辭手腳勞J40nB494_p0581a19拔出諸人眼裏刺。」

立秋日解夏師回天寧兩序請上堂。「一葉落天下秋J40nB494_p0581a21九旬聖制倏矣云周圓覺伽藍十方無壁落芒鞋竹J40nB494_p0581a22四海任優游山水鍾情底未為達士州縣踏白底J40nB494_p0581a23豈是高流果能於腳跟不動時捉敗善財童子目睛J40nB494_p0581a24未轉處擒下德雲比丘不須百城尋知便請坐地J40nB494_p0581a25看揚州看則且置且道彌勒樓閣前有幾人坐臥J40nB494_p0581a26者裏道得一句一任朝遊檀特暮宿羅浮不然且請J40nB494_p0581a27拗折拄杖放下蒲團向三峰院裏度春秋。」

晚參:「昔青林虔和尚凡有僧到先要挑柴三轉J40nB494_p0581a29新到:『三轉內則不問三轉外事如何?』虔云:『鐵輪天J40nB494_p0581a30子寰中敕。』」乃云:「青林甚生意氣要且只解作主不解J40nB494_p0581b01作賓或有人問山僧只向道:『起動闍黎。』他若知機J40nB494_p0581b02甘服勤三峰門下何以故理能伏豹。」

師還山日聞修闍黎請上堂:「高提祖印即不問J40nB494_p0581b04振家風事若何?」師云:「獨坐古三峰。」進云:「鵓鴿峰千岐J40nB494_p0581b05把住烏目澗一線流通是神通是法爾?」師云:「山僧從J40nB494_p0581b06不把境話示人。」進云:「佛令祖令總屬吾師向上一句J40nB494_p0581b07更請垂示。」師便打進云:「恁麼則天山一滴清涼水J40nB494_p0581b08出滹沱萬派長。」師云:「且喜你領話。」:「祖域重光則且J40nB494_p0581b09應時及節事如何?」師云:「春雨滑如油。」進云:「恁麼則J40nB494_p0581b10還鄉一曲殆非今古也。」師云:「待百草生芽即向你道。」J40nB494_p0581b11乃云:「若論此事有似遠客還山扶杖入門處處林巒J40nB494_p0581b12依舊披衣得座頭頭風月長新說箇田地穩密佛祖J40nB494_p0581b13不能近屬剩語更云神通游戲鬼神不能測早涉J40nB494_p0581b14繁辭箇般漢都緣於那邊不曾透過卻來這邊妄擬J40nB494_p0581b15威音面目描也描不成空劫爪牙畫也畫不就雖則J40nB494_p0581b16依稀越國彷彿揚州其奈路途之樂終未到家見解J40nB494_p0581b17入微不名見道若是箇不涉程途直登寶所底大地J40nB494_p0581b18山河全歸掌握森羅萬象悉聽指呼到者裏方許來J40nB494_p0581b19三峰院裏喫清水白米飯共山僧過夏何以故不見J40nB494_p0581b20有功者賞。」下座

晚參:「汾陽昭祖示眾云:『識得拄杖子一生參學事J40nB494_p0581b22。』爾諸人作麼生會?」一僧應聲云:「識得拄杖子入地J40nB494_p0581b23獄如箭射。」師云:「你見甚麼道理便與麼道?」僧無語J40nB494_p0581b24命眾代一云:「識取鉤頭意莫認定盤星。」一云:「從門入J40nB494_p0581b25不是家珍。」一云:「丈夫自有沖霄志不向他人行處J40nB494_p0581b26。」一云:「不可總作野狐精見解。」一云:「鸞鳳不棲荊棘J40nB494_p0581b27。」一云:「金屑雖貴落眼成翳。」一云:「獅子咬人韓盧逐J40nB494_p0581b28。」一云:「死水不藏龍。」僧補前語云:「纔有一絲頭便是J40nB494_p0581b29一絲頭。」師云:「總是館驛前一夥撮馬糞的漢。」遂擲下J40nB494_p0581b30拄杖便歸方丈

莘田蔣學憲誕日建大悲華嚴兩道場請上堂:「J40nB494_p0581c02七薰修功圓果滿作麼說箇喬松千古茂日月永長J40nB494_p0581c03明底事?」師云:「人傳大椿以八千年為春堪為比並否?」J40nB494_p0581c04進云:「若然則常將日月為天眼指出須彌作壽山。」J40nB494_p0581c05:「莊生此語垂下二千餘年也。」進云:「愛日舒光人共J40nB494_p0581c06冰壺發燄有誰知?」師云:「慎莫浪流傳。」僧顧左右J40nB494_p0581c07大眾一齊高著眼謾教錯過目前機。」師云:「自知較一J40nB494_p0581c08。」:「十兆餘言即不問八十一軸事如何?」師云:「公案J40nB494_p0581c09現在。」進云:「秪如古人問三千諸佛道箇黃鶴樓中題J40nB494_p0581c10詩句是何旨趣?」師云:「與你猶隔津在。」僧擬議師便打J40nB494_p0581c11乃云:「率陀境界信非常情所測據說人間四百年J40nB494_p0581c12天為一晝夜雖則玄風永扇慧日長光要且猶落數J40nB494_p0581c13量在爭如我佛廣演華嚴撤三乘之見網謂成佛不J40nB494_p0581c14待歷三大僧祗但一念相應即證無量道果任他劫J40nB494_p0581c15數之長短世界之闊狹總不出一剎那際三昧故棗J40nB494_p0581c16柏云:『十世古今始終不離於當念無邊剎海自他不J40nB494_p0581c17隔於毫端。』更說甚然燈居先彌勒落後?」驀拈拂子J40nB494_p0581c18試看者箇始自鷲嶺分燈之後少林傳芳以來恒以J40nB494_p0581c19深心密願於剎那際中廣作佛事有時以大悲心梯J40nB494_p0581c20航九有有時以大智力拔濟群生縱饒虛空有盡J40nB494_p0581c21海有盡而斯人之誓願無盡且道憑何薰修而得臻J40nB494_p0581c22?」良久:「且待須臾自當證知。」

普請摘茶次師垂問云:「直截根源佛所印摘葉尋枝J40nB494_p0581c24我不能古人既有明訓諸仁因甚卻犯他忌諱?」眾荅J40nB494_p0581c25不契師代云:「為眾竭力。」又云:「三峰門下。」又云:「替和尚J40nB494_p0581c26出一隻手。」有僧問:「狗子因甚無佛性?」師云:「不為分外。」J40nB494_p0581c27僧云:「因甚又道有?」師云:「莫隨他舌根轉。」又僧問:「黃檗J40nB494_p0581c28打臨濟三頓痛棒意旨如何?」師云:「徹骨徹髓。」僧禮拜J40nB494_p0581c29師云:「念你是新戒且放過一頓。」

玅宗上座領謝守之居士請上堂:「宅破家亡阿誰J40nB494_p0582a01是主?」師云:「鬍張三黑李四。」進云:「掛拂捲席因甚不住?」J40nB494_p0582a02師云:「長安雖好不是久居。」進云:「縫開楔棒時如何?」J40nB494_p0582a03:「功不浪施。」進云:「三問蒙師指示向上宗乘又若J40nB494_p0582a04?」師云:「離波覓水是大癡漢。」:「四十九年栽花石上J40nB494_p0582a05三百餘會著楔空中今日和尚寶座高陞未審又圖J40nB494_p0582a06箇甚麼?」師云:「洎被上座拶上壁。」進云:「莫便是和尚機J40nB494_p0582a07用麼?」師云:「聽事不真喚鐘作甕。」進云:「可謂尋常一樣J40nB494_p0582a08窗前月纔有梅花便不同。」師云:「閒言語拈過一邊J40nB494_p0582a09截處道將來。」僧便喝師云:「兩重公案。」進云:「不入虎穴J40nB494_p0582a10焉得虎子?」師云:「三十棒留與明日打。」乃云:「昨夜舜若J40nB494_p0582a11多神在虛空裏揚聲高叫曰:『我有時乍雨乍晴天莫J40nB494_p0582a12。』泰山石敢當坐平地上遂應聲和曰:『我有時或凡J40nB494_p0582a13或聖人難識。』各各道了復相共耳語曰:『大清國裏禪J40nB494_p0582a14和子罕有湊吾輩機者。』山僧木上座忍憤不過向前J40nB494_p0582a15一時穿卻二公鼻孔拽來三峰院裏先問舜若多曰J40nB494_p0582a16秪如昨日晴今日雨是甚麼法中收試道看。』次問石J40nB494_p0582a17敢當曰:『不用愛聖聖是空名不用憎凡凡是妄立J40nB494_p0582a18語來。』二公未及對無端被帝釋尊者天耳遙聞乃歎J40nB494_p0582a19:『大智哉從今大清國裏永無妄自稱尊者。』木上座J40nB494_p0582a20卒然聞得乃呵呵大笑曰:『尊者莫寐語任你讚過三J40nB494_p0582a21十三天要不過逢場作戲耳。』」卓拄杖下座

中和淨戒二禪人同請上堂:「適纔伐鼓考鐘地搖J40nB494_p0582a23六震今復高陞寶座天雨四花為是鋪花錦上為是J40nB494_p0582a24好肉剜瘡?」師云:「莫塗污我耳。」進云:「竿頭絲線從師弄J40nB494_p0582a25不犯清波意自殊。」師云:「圖度極矣。」進云:「別轉機輪J40nB494_p0582a26師再道。」師便喝僧亦喝師便打:「如何是虞山境?」J40nB494_p0582a27:「鵓鴿峰頭雲靉靆。」「如何是境中人?」師云:「清涼禪子J40nB494_p0582a28鼻昂藏。」「境與人相去多少?」師云:「曾有人問我直得五J40nB494_p0582a29年分疏不下。」乃云:「不見一法是大過患諸兄弟山河J40nB494_p0582a30大地是法日月星辰是法草木叢林是法鱗甲羽毛J40nB494_p0582b01是法既一切是法作麼說不見若見刺腦入膠盆J40nB494_p0582b02又道成大過患有鼻孔撩天的向者裏道得箇脫J40nB494_p0582b03體句鼓聲咬破我七條穿卻韶陽老人鼻孔庶幾西J40nB494_p0582b04天東土不致寂寞不然缽盂口向天豈不礙塞殺人。」
