子待上座四十誕辰請小參。「冷落門戶獨推風穴J40nB494_p0539a05落門戶還遜楊岐東鼓門戶冷則夜燃松脂破則床J40nB494_p0539a06盈雪霰蓋真有二老風味也所以山僧自踏足此間J40nB494_p0539a07有椎不拈有拂不豎一日打眠三五度也消不得許J40nB494_p0539a08多閒奈有箇無事尋事做底朝和南暮不審欲求一J40nB494_p0539a09言以永壽命山僧推托不過只得扯箇古話以塞其J40nB494_p0539a10記得魯國老孔有云:『知者樂水仁者樂山知者動J40nB494_p0539a11仁者靜。』拋卻城隍古寺來空閒寂寞之濱不可不謂J40nB494_p0539a12之靜者既靜矣且道仁者壽量又何如演說?」驀豎起J40nB494_p0539a13拂子:「秪者箇歷千劫而不古任他白鼠推遷J40nB494_p0539a14要且銀臺不變山僧恁麼舉揚還稱諸上座意也無?」J40nB494_p0539a15良久:「遇明眼人一任舉似。」

端午師誕日祈雨羽公蔣居士請小參。「山僧自到龍J40nB494_p0539a17舒口邊實情掃得白醭出提著佛法兩字如生冤家J40nB494_p0539a18相似非故不近人情蓋從上風規應如是也記得長J40nB494_p0539a19沙岑和尚有云:『我若一向舉揚宗教法堂前須草深J40nB494_p0539a20一丈。』爾等既稱祖師門下客何不略自回眸看看先J40nB494_p0539a21宗是何標格真實向你道若心地未明智眼未開J40nB494_p0539a22忌求佛求祖求心性求玄妙以當平生設使求而得J40nB494_p0539a23皆屬所依譬如水母以蝦為目無有自由分試看J40nB494_p0539a24天地未分未有生佛名字以前一著你還馳求得麼J40nB494_p0539a25你還依傍得麼既馳求依傍他不得到這裏直饒智J40nB494_p0539a26如鶖子辯似滿慈尚未彷彿其趨向何況今時望道J40nB494_p0539a27未見者妄自承當一味露布葛藤以稱得旨何殊平J40nB494_p0539a28人妄稱帝王自取誅戮奉勸兄弟既在此箇門中J40nB494_p0539a29須徹悟須透莫秪向門頭戶口掠些光影便為得本J40nB494_p0539a30如此見解不但不契我衲僧分上亦且未合契經深J40nB494_p0539b01不見先佛云:『從無住本立一切法。』即魯論亦云:『J40nB494_p0539b02子務本本立而道生。』就使你真得其本而不知法立J40nB494_p0539b03道生的旨趣正古人所謂:『會得自不會目前有足J40nB494_p0539b04無眼是也。』可見世出世間聖人立言無不圓活而小J40nB494_p0539b05根執之即成偏枯今日承羽公居士率眾檀請陞此J40nB494_p0539b06故不覺叨怛如此諸人要識無住的本麼?」驀以拄J40nB494_p0539b07杖卓一下:「向這裏會要識法立道生旨趣麼?」復提J40nB494_p0539b08起拄杖:「拄杖子𨁝跳上三十三天觸著帝釋鼻孔J40nB494_p0539b09東海鯉魚打一棒雨似盆傾秪如這一道真言又作J40nB494_p0539b10麼生理會如理會得始知佛祖用處與自無二無J40nB494_p0539b11其或未然更聽一偈從來至理彰時節榴火蒲煙J40nB494_p0539b12競發機會得目前無盡藏祖燈由此永長輝。」

烏沙臣五許文學伯仲為先嚴緯蒼明府請對靈小J40nB494_p0539b14。「假借四大以為身心本無生因境有前境若無心J40nB494_p0539b15亦無罪福如幻起亦滅古佛與麼告報諸仁作麼生J40nB494_p0539b16四大既云假借正當分潰之時且道一靈真性畢J40nB494_p0539b17竟何依直饒道箇高超三界獨步大方猶是尋常秪J40nB494_p0539b18未為真實超證。」驀豎拂子:「若向這裏踏著實際J40nB494_p0539b19始知從本不受一塵既不受一塵則真如妄想皆是J40nB494_p0539b20夢言生死涅槃並為增語更說甚地水為我先身J40nB494_p0539b21風為我本體是故,《楞嚴經:『汝但棄其生滅守于真J40nB494_p0539b22常光現前根塵識性應時銷落。』便恁麼去盡十方J40nB494_p0539b23界是箇大解脫場無論若生若佛若聖若凡若智J40nB494_p0539b24乃至山河大地草芥人畜苟蒙其光被其澤無有J40nB494_p0539b25不發真歸元者也試看即今緯蒼大居士生平功業J40nB494_p0539b26書於竹帛遺德在人口碑謂其六十三年住世是生J40nB494_p0539b27大似水中撈月謂其六十三年後去世是死耶J40nB494_p0539b28殊空裏採花何故良以實際理地上絕無這箇消息J40nB494_p0539b29不見宋時樞密徐師川俯因丁父憂念無以報罔極J40nB494_p0539b30特延靈源禪師歸孝址說法源云:『諸仁者龍圖平日J40nB494_p0539c01讀萬卷書如水傳器涓滴不遺且道著在甚麼處J40nB494_p0539c02今捨識之後這著萬卷書底又卻向甚麼處著?』師川J40nB494_p0539c03聞之灑然有得:『吾無憾矣。』諸仁者靈源得說法三J40nB494_p0539c04故不動聲氣使師川徹證無生今日臣五居士欲J40nB494_p0539c05報罔極亦延山僧到此冀舉揚般若以資令先嚴冥J40nB494_p0539c06可謂與師川同德同心同理同事既一切皆同J40nB494_p0539c07作麼生得同得同證去?」復豎拂子:「我今為汝保任J40nB494_p0539c08此事終不虛也。」

比丘恒修沙彌是修二禪人入塔小參。「剪木為函J40nB494_p0539c10高化樂壘石成屋名重祗林雖則頭頭挾路處處通J40nB494_p0539c11其奈金鎖虛拘重門無縫夜簾垂蔭密室難窺J40nB494_p0539c12饒寒山子鞋獰似虎琉璃殿上覷捕無門拾得兒杖J40nB494_p0539c13活如龍明月堂前轉身無路何況驅烏未解制犢未J40nB494_p0539c14欲躋寶所不其難哉雖然思頭陀既承法爾殷殷J40nB494_p0539c15誼不容默有箇不展功勳直升灌頂底方便。」以拂子J40nB494_p0539c16打圓相:「祖佛眾妙門只此箇為最珍重肇與融J40nB494_p0539c17力紹其位。」

蕭理卿居士率次男信斯薦長男玉衡請對靈小參J40nB494_p0539c19朔風凜冽寒氣陰森直得無陰陽地上滴水滴凍J40nB494_p0539c20日瑞雪紛紛萬山盡縞當此時也峨眉老子大逞神J40nB494_p0539c21有般目眩生花底睹此光灼灼白皚皚都道是一J40nB494_p0539c22色邊事那知今朝太陽一出倏忽成流直下覓這一J40nB494_p0539c23色了不可得更說甚轉句更說甚半提全提所以J40nB494_p0539c24去古佛有云:『起諸善法本是幻造諸惡業亦是幻J40nB494_p0539c25如聚沫心如風幻出無根無實性。』如是則生也如幻J40nB494_p0539c26滅也如幻善也如幻惡也如幻陰也如幻陽也如幻J40nB494_p0539c27寒也如幻熱也如幻既一切盡皆如幻則三際圓滿J40nB494_p0539c28一道虛融無生死可了無涅槃可證佛與眾生性相J40nB494_p0539c29平等今日當薦玉衡居士有靈聞山僧如此舉揚J40nB494_p0539c30歷耳根當下徹證無生方不負乃父乃弟一段慈念J40nB494_p0540a01薦拔之意正當恁麼時且道當薦亡者畢竟超昇何J40nB494_p0540a02?」良久:「踢翻穢土無尋處頓證唯心淨法身。」

師到吳陵晉儒劉文學薦嚴膚公孝廉請對靈小參J40nB494_p0540a04正覺離名相以名相求之即差握節當胸者到此實J40nB494_p0540a05為沉屈白雲今日放一線道與當薦劉公作箇指南。」J40nB494_p0540a06遂豎拂子:「只這箇為毘盧師為法身主天也J40nB494_p0540a07賴以成立萬物藉以滋培苟能洞徹根源始知佛與J40nB494_p0540a08眾生本來平等不見吾佛昔在雪山成道睹明星而J40nB494_p0540a09嘆曰:『奇哉一切眾生具有如來智慧德相但以妄想J40nB494_p0540a10執著不能證得。』諸仁者要知釋迦老子意麼良以諸J40nB494_p0540a11佛智慧德相蘊在含識心源秪因不覺頓起業惑J40nB494_p0540a12業惑故遂結成八萬四千塵勞山釀深八萬四千煩J40nB494_p0540a13惱海靈利漢直下了知業惑本無自性當體全空J40nB494_p0540a14塵勞山翻為智山煩惱海變為覺海到這裏不妨住J40nB494_p0540a15出世居塵了塵更有甚生為可戀死有可悲又不J40nB494_p0540a16見宋時徐師川居士欲報先龍圖罔極之恩特請靈J40nB494_p0540a17源禪師就孝址說法源云:『諸仁者先龍圖平日讀萬J40nB494_p0540a18卷書只這身如椰子大萬卷書著在何處而今捨識J40nB494_p0540a19之後這讀萬卷書底又向甚麼處著?』師川聞之當下J40nB494_p0540a20了悟今日晉儒居士欲報先孝廉罔極之恩亦請山J40nB494_p0540a21僧就孝址說法用展哀思或有人問:『先孝廉平日讀J40nB494_p0540a22萬卷書而今捨識之後這讀萬卷書底畢竟向何處J40nB494_p0540a23安身立命?』諸仁者要知麼?」乃以拂子擊案一下:「J40nB494_p0540a24指頓超清淨界方知吾道不思議。」

映子朱居士為先嚴長源山主請掩土。「毘耶高鎖白J40nB494_p0540a26雲深不二門開見夙心倒跨六龍歸去後嘉聲留得J40nB494_p0540a27播叢林恭惟大山主長源老居士佛心夙植道韻天J40nB494_p0540a28折節求師不憚雲門路嶮橫身為法寧教海甸禪J40nB494_p0540a29赤手扶剎竿妙用縱橫唯憑一力鬧藍開祖域J40nB494_p0540a30通廓徹五丁方期諸山保社永受帡幪豈意六J40nB494_p0540b01轡神駒遽爾仙逝化城昔滯盡道馬鬣之未封寶所J40nB494_p0540b02今登那識牛眠之可慶十字交橫洵哉安貞應地J40nB494_p0540b03儀高厚允矣深固靈根山野忝居祖席聊展法誠J40nB494_p0540b04脫門開固是昔年親證真實相顯還期此日圓成J40nB494_p0540b05恁麼時全身奉重一句作麼生道乾坤存正脈山水J40nB494_p0540b06護真龍。」

丁穎公居士率姪元亮為亡弟庶公請對靈小參。「J40nB494_p0540b08如淨境界能證者甚難得人有底道若欲明真先須J40nB494_p0540b09息妄妄息則生死海不待截而徑渡真明則涅槃岸J40nB494_p0540b10何勞躋而先登如此理論是則固是爭奈取捨未亡J40nB494_p0540b11欲躋他先聖閫奧猶未可在不見道:『起諸善法本是J40nB494_p0540b12造諸惡業亦是幻身如聚沫心如風幻出無根無J40nB494_p0540b13實性。』諸仁者作麼生說箇幻出無實底道理向這裏J40nB494_p0540b14見得始知從本來原自忘懷廓落消息沖融狸奴J40nB494_p0540b15白牯不見下劣寶几珍御亦無驚異更有何多生業J40nB494_p0540b16累劫冤親而不一切智智清淨無二無二分無別J40nB494_p0540b17無斷所以云:『佛說一切法為度一切心我無一切心J40nB494_p0540b18何用一切法?』又云:『凡聖一真猶存見隔見存即凡J40nB494_p0540b19忘即佛。』寂音讚以為先聖不能加毫末于此也豈非J40nB494_p0540b20得處真實用處真實令人不可意度者哉庶公居士J40nB494_p0540b21山僧知名雖久謀面未曾夏初獲晤高齋時抱病J40nB494_p0540b22承不鄙山野折節皈依別後以霪雨連綿音問曠J40nB494_p0540b23不謂遂于五月念一日下世矣嗚呼可勝歎哉J40nB494_p0540b24易簣時諄諄遺囑冀請山僧到靈址說法昨者乃姪J40nB494_p0540b25啣命而至適山僧有禁足之期不獲只得破制而J40nB494_p0540b26以慰其靈記得宋時王公韶居士帥西塞自以殺J40nB494_p0540b27業深重特請佛印禪師到上藍說法以祈澡雪印拈J40nB494_p0540b28香云:『此香為殺人不眨眼底上將軍立地成佛大居J40nB494_p0540b29。』眾稱善公亦悠然意消今日山僧亦將上來所揚J40nB494_p0540b30般若功德用資庶公惟願一歷耳根頓明自性從此J40nB494_p0540c01功名富貴視如夢幻聲色貨利等之浮漚一任天上J40nB494_p0540c02人間隨緣放曠他方此土任意縱橫復何生死榮枯J40nB494_p0540c03之足云更聽一偈智眼豁開蕉夢醒始知天地一蘧J40nB494_p0540c04從今解卻塵勞直入蓮花國裏居。」

晚參。「世尊拈花堪笑堪嗟贏得他人一笑輸卻自J40nB494_p0540c06三車狗子分明無佛性貓兒真箇有爪牙擊碎禾山J40nB494_p0540c07之鼓拗折秘魔之叉嗄嗄嗄誰信風流出當家。」

晚參。「佛不是心亦非眼裏著砂不得耳裏著水不得J40nB494_p0540c09便恁麼去也好一員無事道人雖然忽若毘嵐風起J40nB494_p0540c10把七金五嶽一時吹入你鼻孔裏又作麼生向者裏J40nB494_p0540c11施得一機熱炙盞子與茶你喫其或不然平地上死J40nB494_p0540c12人無數透得荊棘林是好手。」

白龍雨華兩和尚訃音到山上供師指白龍真云:「J40nB494_p0540c14箇是白龍蔭公。」復指雨華真云:「這箇是雨華願老J40nB494_p0540c15雲忝續末派皆獲週旋其門近聞在潤州同時遷化J40nB494_p0540c16了也今日特地炊一甌飯煮一盞羹以表道誼諸兄J40nB494_p0540c17若謂雨華昔與我親曾受其益大似方木逗圓孔J40nB494_p0540c18若謂白龍昔與我疏曾喫其虧何殊短竹點長空J40nB494_p0540c19不知潤州兩兄世不得而親疏龍舒一弟人豈可以J40nB494_p0540c20損益是稱天寧門下聱頭禪堪與諸方為標格。」

潘明卿為伯父成所居士請起棺。「人生虛幻若浮漚J40nB494_p0540c22忽地風移夜壑舟翻思插標功未就賢于去速實堪J40nB494_p0540c23恭惟故山主成所居士青年立志白手成家曰男J40nB494_p0540c24曰女雖無而財而帛恒有昔曾皈心佛寶創白社以J40nB494_p0540c25傳燈今擬託跡緇流效青山而斷髮詎意一病纔起J40nB494_p0540c26二豎便入膏肓頂相未圓四大忽離本主嗚呼J40nB494_p0540c27公招我而我不來三冬我望公而公致白雲J40nB494_p0540c28裏一舖功德瓓珊龍舒山中幾位耆年寂寞今者孝J40nB494_p0540c29姪志清承命家業永紹箕裘修佛事投誠佛天卜吉J40nB494_p0540c30日歸棺吉地惟冀居士披精進鎧操智慧刀斬斷名J40nB494_p0541a01利鎖韁掀翻是非窠臼白牛車乘時穩駕三界獄指J40nB494_p0541a02日高超大展遊戲神通直到本有田地且道即今快J40nB494_p0541a03行得步一句作麼生道?」良久:「好音莫謂西歸遠J40nB494_p0541a04尺家山罷問程。」公有志出家而未果

晚參:「昔龐公至藥山山命十禪客相送至門首J40nB494_p0541a06乃指空中雪:『好雪片片不落別處。』有全禪客:『J40nB494_p0541a07在甚處?』公遂與一掌全曰:『也不得草草。』公曰:『恁麼稱J40nB494_p0541a08禪客閻羅老子未放你在。』全曰:『居士作麼生?』公又掌J40nB494_p0541a09:『眼見如盲口說若啞。』」乃云:「卻物為上逐物為下J40nB494_p0541a10船長言之於前矣而龐公問處固是不當好心J40nB494_p0541a11是箇善嚙鏃機底縱饒有蓋世英雄亦須倒退三千J40nB494_p0541a12可惜全公不解作主無端上人鉤線欲使藥山門J40nB494_p0541a13風不致掃地焉可得乎今日白雲不是抑弱扶強J40nB494_p0541a14非拗直作曲諸人要識是非。」驀拈拄杖:「但向者裏J40nB494_p0541a15辨取。」

師至淨梵寺主人元白老宿率眾請上堂。「行腳高士J40nB494_p0541a17入得淨梵門試看古宿威光先德風彩畢竟從何處J40nB494_p0541a18建立向這裏一一緇素得出始知世界未形未有生J40nB494_p0541a19佛名字便具有這箇保社苟非辦真實心行真J40nB494_p0541a20實行底阿師撤去籓籬那能和四海為一家合十方J40nB494_p0541a21為一?」驀拈拄杖卓一下:「汝諸仁的的從這裏承J40nB494_p0541a22紹得去于一毫端現寶王剎坐微塵裏轉大法輪J40nB494_p0541a23非難事且道目前畢竟以何為驗?」良久:「客是主人J40nB494_p0541a24。」師便下座

晚參。「世尊一大藏教只說得箇半字祖師一千七百J40nB494_p0541a26則公案只說得箇滿字。」驀豎竹篦:「須知這裏半也J40nB494_p0541a27收不得滿也收不得有時𨁝跳上天撞倒南辰磕落J40nB494_p0541a28北斗盡乾坤一時黑暗你這夥漆桶向那裏安身立J40nB494_p0541a29?」眾無對遂以竹篦旋風打散
