J40nB494_p0549c04壬戌九月初六日,啟龍華會,拈花天鏡、靈璽兩和尚J40nB494_p0549c05請上堂。師豎拂子云:「此龍華菩提樹下,乃是彌勒大J40nB494_p0549c06士將來三會說法度人之所,諸人若踏得他正脈著,J40nB494_p0549c07任是劫數長遠、世界闊大,要且始終不出一剎那際J40nB494_p0549c08三昧。夫此三昧者,無過去相、無未來相、無現在相,三J40nB494_p0549c09際全超,一道平等。彌勒大士提平等印,普印盡虛空J40nB494_p0549c10遍法界一切眾生,於剎那中成等正覺,便恁麼去,盡J40nB494_p0549c11十方界是箇金剛正體、盡十方界是箇寶覺真心,心J40nB494_p0549c12也、體也,覓一毫同相不得、覓一毫異相不得,同異相J40nB494_p0549c13既不可得,則彌勒大士便是諸人、諸人便是彌勒大J40nB494_p0549c14士,更說甚諸佛尊崇、眾生狹劣、聖人智慧、凡夫愚癡?J40nB494_p0549c15良以諸人不達凡聖一真、自他一體,用妄想心起分J40nB494_p0549c16別見,以分別故致墮輪迴。今日天寧特借彌勒大士J40nB494_p0549c17威光,為諸人作箇方便。」復豎拂子云:「只者實際理地,J40nB494_p0549c18從來不受一塵,現前佛事門中,要且不捨一法。既不J40nB494_p0549c19捨一法,何妨爇種種香、散種種花、修種種飲食、備種J40nB494_p0549c20種服御,或稱揚讚嘆、或禮拜翹勤,上以翊贊J40nB494_p0549c21皇圖,下以資培民本。若天若人,俱獲玅利;是幽是顯,J40nB494_p0549c22普仗良因。頭頭是仁壽之鄉,處處乃昇平之境。不見J40nB494_p0549c23昔日梁武皇帝夜夢神僧告曰:『六道四生,幽囚者眾,J40nB494_p0549c24何不設水陸以拔濟之?』帝既寤,乃命十大高僧翻閱J40nB494_p0549c25大藏,撰成儀文,始於金山設大道場。帝一日親臨法J40nB494_p0549c26筵,命悉停燈燭。帝默禱曰:『若我此儀文理協聖凡,願J40nB494_p0549c27拜起,燈燭自明;不然,燭暗如故。』帝一拜,燈燭自明;再J40nB494_p0549c28拜,地搖六震;三拜,天雨四花。其餘靈驗,不可勝計。諸J40nB494_p0549c29仁者!武帝一懺,理協聖凡,其感應如此。況天寧七會J40nB494_p0549c30儀文,皆理協聖凡者哉?現前諸上善人,苟能發至誠J40nB494_p0550a01願、起殷重心,其將來感應不知當何如也?正當今日,J40nB494_p0550a02人天雲湧。且普利一句又作麼生道?」揮拂子,云:「麈尾J40nB494_p0550a03頭邊飛化雨,大千無不盡霑恩。」
J40nB494_p0550a04湧清禪人領吳護法請上堂。古人謂:「華嚴境界,理事J40nB494_p0550a05全真,初無假法。既無假法,則冰柯月渚共顯真常,煙J40nB494_p0550a06島雲林全提向上。理無礙、事無礙,德山、臨濟棒喝交J40nB494_p0550a07馳;因有據、果有據,文殊、普賢拳踢相應。掀翻空劫,捩J40nB494_p0550a08轉今時。繁興處,大用全彰;靜悄時,真機獨露。且道:是J40nB494_p0550a09神通?是法爾?」驀喝一喝,云:「此時若不究根源,直待當J40nB494_p0550a10來問彌勒。」
J40nB494_p0550a11邵伯鎮育才王護法請上堂。問:「龍華會啟,四眾翹勤,J40nB494_p0550a12如何是彌勒真彌勒?」師云:「兜率陀天底。」進云:「如何是J40nB494_p0550a13分身千百億?」師揮拂子,云:「家家有路透長安。」進云:「如J40nB494_p0550a14何是時時示時人?」師云:「何不薦取目前底?」進云:「如何J40nB494_p0550a15是時人自不識?」師云:「納敗不少。」乃云:「闡提有佛性,佛J40nB494_p0550a16非妄語;狗子無佛性,祖是真言。非妄語處,為凡夫開J40nB494_p0550a17入理之門;是真言時,為聖人闢出身之路。」驀豎拂子,J40nB494_p0550a18云:「看!看!無面目漢來也,在天寧拂子頭上揚聲大叫J40nB494_p0550a19道:『者二老漢,一箇闡揚教意,其明如鏡;一箇提唱祖J40nB494_p0550a20意,其直如弦。』雖然,在佛祖分上足可觀光,若據衲僧J40nB494_p0550a21正令而行,一人好與三十拄杖。何故呢?不見東山演J40nB494_p0550a22祖云:『說心說性尚屬惡口,討甚閑工夫說有說無來?』J40nB494_p0550a23今日天寧掃除枝葉,直示本根,庶幾乎免諸仁倚他J40nB494_p0550a24門戶傍他墻,剛被時人喚作郎。久立眾慈,伏惟珍重。」
J40nB494_p0550a25遼東惟龍李護法同母趙太君懺罪,請上堂。問:「煙水J40nB494_p0550a26徒勞涉百城,天寧樓閣忽然新,入門不待尋彌勒,目J40nB494_p0550a27睹師今轉法輪。既獲觀光,請師一接。」師云:「佛日正中J40nB494_p0550a28天。」進云:「莫不是和尚最初為人句麼?」師云:「法輪常匝J40nB494_p0550a29地。」進云:「可謂千古同風,一音演唱。」師云:「分明舉似諸J40nB494_p0550a30方。」進云:「隨機利物已見全提,記莂當陽還祈更道。」師J40nB494_p0550b01云:「誰家無白月清風?」進云:「與麼則滿前緇素開生面,J40nB494_p0550b02一樹龍華展笑顏。」師云:「上座好彩。」問:「龍華勝境即不J40nB494_p0550b03問,舉揚一句事如何?」師云:「樓閣重重盡打開。」進云:「可J40nB494_p0550b04謂一句明明該萬象,重陽九日菊花新。」師云:「且作麼J40nB494_p0550b05生得挨身而入?」進云:「千二百人善知識被學人舌頭J40nB494_p0550b06轉。」師便打,僧喝,師又打。問:「祖道重興即不問,龍華大J40nB494_p0550b07啟事如何?」師云:「縱日所觀。」進云:「人天普會,凡聖交參,J40nB494_p0550b08如何是龍華境?」師云:「花雲彌法界。」進云:「如何是龍華J40nB494_p0550b09人?」師云:「觸目盡知音。」乃豎拂子,云:「行腳高士向者裏J40nB494_p0550b10體理得玅、了了常知去,則與三世諸佛同一眼見、同J40nB494_p0550b11一耳聞、同一手持、同一足運、同一心知、同一意解,自J40nB494_p0550b12古及今威德自在,從少至老尊貴頹然,珍御服不必J40nB494_p0550b13全披,獘垢衣何須重卸?理惟一致,事出殊途。若解與J40nB494_p0550b14麼,紅塵鬧市是祖佛家風;不解與麼,枯木寒巖乃鬼J40nB494_p0550b15神活計。到者裏,覓智慧相尚不可得,更說甚麼愚癡?J40nB494_p0550b16覓福德相亦不可得,更說甚麼罪業?苟能諦信不疑,J40nB494_p0550b17自然超諸三昧。」擊拂子,下座。
J40nB494_p0550b18一雨禪人領本郡方護法請上堂。「大道分明在目前,J40nB494_p0550b19能解大道曾有幾?終日忙忙向外尋,不達如來真正J40nB494_p0550b20理。如來理,妙無比,不在他求只在己,但於善惡總不J40nB494_p0550b21思,有大經卷出塵矣。文彩天然不住相,尋行數墨非J40nB494_p0550b22知己,苟能信解而奉行,諸佛自然生歡喜。貪嗔癡,戒J40nB494_p0550b23定慧,一都拋向東洋裏,而今普示在當陽。」驀豎拂子,J40nB494_p0550b24云:「原是諸人自家底。」
J40nB494_p0550b25慈修上座領本郡眾檀越請上堂。「若論真實提綱,不J40nB494_p0550b26在逞舌劍唇鋒以為本事,果是箇作家禪客,只消籬J40nB494_p0550b27落邊拾一莖草,便可穿天下人鼻孔。可笑德山茅廣J40nB494_p0550b28漢到處用一條毒棒、臨濟小廝兒隨處鼓一聲熱喝,J40nB494_p0550b29那知傳到于今盡成流布?自餘滾毬打鼓之輩、擎叉J40nB494_p0550b30擊地之流,些小伎倆何足稱祖域爭衡之上將哉?天J40nB494_p0550c01寧若不嚴其關防,豈免濫觴遍界?」驀拈拂子畫一畫,J40nB494_p0550c02云:「一齊趁向他方世界。可中有超然獨脫底,展出本J40nB494_p0550c03有神通與山僧相見,天寧拄杖便兩手分付。何故呢?J40nB494_p0550c04不逢作者不開拳,一遇知音便分付。」
J40nB494_p0550c05城南耕雲禪宿領朱君甫眾檀越請上堂。問:「天上無J40nB494_p0550c06彌勒,地下無彌勒,市尾街頭是阿誰?」師云:「腦後著眼。」J40nB494_p0550c07進云:「隻眼空天地,雙眉亙古今。」師云:「即今彌勒在甚J40nB494_p0550c08麼處?」進云:「且放過一著。」師打,云:「我卻放不過。」進云:「不J40nB494_p0550c09跨揚州鶴,尤難驗作家。」師云:「猶嫌少在。」乃云:「毘盧師,J40nB494_p0550c10法身主,不在西天在東土,紅塵鬧市全彰本地風光,J40nB494_p0550c11酒肆茶坊大展先天心祖,頭頭為妙悟之門,處處乃J40nB494_p0550c12還源之路,更說甚截海岳機、蓋色騎聲、定乾坤句、超J40nB494_p0550c13今越古?大可笑者,是黃面老特地誇張,碧眼胡徒成J40nB494_p0550c14露布,怎似我輩無事僧,一枕南窗方睡起,相與鋤月J40nB494_p0550c15耕雲去?雖然,忽有箇漢出來道:『長老莫說無事禪,畢J40nB494_p0550c16竟如何是毘盧師、法身主?』」良久,顧左右,云:「年深月久J40nB494_p0550c17渾忘卻,莫怪山僧多莽鹵。」
J40nB494_p0550c18法海凝如院主領眾護法請上堂。「法海汪洋,道山崇J40nB494_p0550c19峻,堪笑時人盡作境話會,那知實際居於目前,翻成J40nB494_p0550c20名相去也?故古德云:『色見聲求是妄,承言滯句是誑。』J40nB494_p0550c21要得不誑不妄,苟非頂門具眼、肘後懸符底漢,那能J40nB494_p0550c22碎羅籠、破窠臼,於一毫頭上識得根源去?所以云:『百J40nB494_p0550c23千法門同歸方寸,河沙妙德總在心源。』只貴箇同德J40nB494_p0550c24同心、同聲同氣底一肩擔荷,相與建法幢、立宗旨,不J40nB494_p0550c25為難事。即今還有如是人麼?」良久,云:「但辦肯心,必不J40nB494_p0550c26相賺。」
J40nB494_p0550c27藏經院澄和尚領眾檀越請上堂。問:「承古有言:『此時J40nB494_p0550c28若不究根源,直待當來問彌勒。』且道:如何是根源?」師J40nB494_p0550c29云:「閒家具。」進云:「請和尚直截道一句。」師云:「更要第二J40nB494_p0550c30杓惡水那?」進云:謝師指示。師云:「七棒對十三。」乃云:「振J40nB494_p0551a01祖風,弘祖道,分付禪流莫草草,直饒你一句當天如J40nB494_p0551a02日之杲、一句匝地如風之掃,正眼觀來,大似井蛙醯J40nB494_p0551a03雞,所見還小。若是箇出格道流,手鑠黃河乾、腳踢須J40nB494_p0551a04彌倒,把一大藏經作一牧馬,與他八大龍王誇珍鬥J40nB494_p0551a05寶,更說甚如來禪玄之又玄、祖師禪玅之又玅?都盧J40nB494_p0551a06掃向糞堆頭,大丈夫兒事始了。阿呵呵!好不好?相逢J40nB494_p0551a07謾道知音少。」便下座。
J40nB494_p0551a08平山和尚領本郡眾護法請上堂。問:「五葉一花,根源J40nB494_p0551a09一脈,列派分枝即且置,如何是正中偏?」師云:「夜蟾當J40nB494_p0551a10午現。」進云:「如何是偏中正?」師云:「白月不孤圓。」進云:「如J40nB494_p0551a11何是正中來?」師豎拂子,云:「不出者裏。」進云:「如何是兼J40nB494_p0551a12中至?」師云:「當堂猶不貴。」進云:「如何是兼中到?」師云:「室J40nB494_p0551a13內豈人知?」進云:「君臣五位蒙師指,四眾雲臻事若何?」J40nB494_p0551a14師云:「歡聲震地。」進云:「龍得水時添意氣,虎逢山勢轉J40nB494_p0551a15威獰。」師云:「在檀信分上又作麼生?」進云:「多處添些子。」J40nB494_p0551a16師便棒,云:「灼然。」問:「古人云:『道得也叉下死,道不得也J40nB494_p0551a17叉下死。』和尚還有這手段麼?」師云:「死活不知。」僧擬議,J40nB494_p0551a18師便打。乃拈拄杖卓一下,云:「此是曹溪一滴,雖枝分J40nB494_p0551a19派列,苟達其源,不惟澗溪共本,抑且江漢同宗。所以J40nB494_p0551a20恫濟二水,法流浩瀚,遍湧神州,俱從者裏流出。猗歟,J40nB494_p0551a21盛哉!真不可思議也。天寧與平山和尚親承派下,今J40nB494_p0551a22日蒙修共本之好,遠勞法馭,過我荒山,炊香飯以飽J40nB494_p0551a23禪流,請法要而續慧命,如此道誼,足堪千古。昔天童J40nB494_p0551a24宏智和尚與徑山妙喜老人法誼之交,真成莫逆,今J40nB494_p0551a25日平山、天寧亦繼其芳躅。諸仁者!且道恁麼相見與J40nB494_p0551a26古人相去多少?」良久,云:「自有明眼作證。」
J40nB494_p0551a27泰興慶雲澄老和尚領季護法請上堂。「盡不可說,不J40nB494_p0551a28可說,華藏世界是箇大光明藏。無論若聖、若凡,若緇、J40nB494_p0551a29若素,若天仙、若人畜,若草芥,乃至飛潛動植等,無一J40nB494_p0551a30不向者裏安身,無一不向者裏立命。不以目睹,自然J40nB494_p0551b01洞見十方;不以耳聞,分明聽週沙界。所以云:『圓明了J40nB494_p0551b02知,不由心念;繁興大用,舉必全真。』以此植福,福如川J40nB494_p0551b03至;以此植慧,慧若山增;以此酬願,無願不酬;以此報J40nB494_p0551b04恩,無恩不報。頭頭攝入,法法融通,交光相羅,如寶絲J40nB494_p0551b05網。且道所欲從心一句作麼生道?」揮拂子,云:「欲知果J40nB494_p0551b06感輪王位,須信因從佛種來。」
J40nB494_p0551b07掘港場慈月上座領眾善信請上堂。問:「不唯樓閣凌J40nB494_p0551b08霄漢,大樹於今已接天,不審窺著根株者幾人?」師云:J40nB494_p0551b09「東西十萬,南北八千。」僧顧左右,云:「不因今日節,餘日J40nB494_p0551b10定難逢。」師云:「逢底事作麼生?」進云:「相續者大難,大難。」J40nB494_p0551b11師便打,云:「甚麼所在說難說易?」進云:「某甲禮拜有分。」J40nB494_p0551b12師又打。問:「龍象霧湧,士庶雲臻,未審和尚作麼生指J40nB494_p0551b13示?」師云:「在天成象,在地成形。」進云:「莫便是為人處麼?」J40nB494_p0551b14師云:「你作麼生領會?」僧便喝,師便打,乃云:「秋樹凋,秋J40nB494_p0551b15葉落,體露金風,言端語確,雲門一句似火傳薪,天寧J40nB494_p0551b16一句如水赴壑,有眼者知,有耳者覺,若要返本還源。」J40nB494_p0551b17乃豎拂子,云:「到底不離者一著。」
J40nB494_p0551b18拂塵尼上座領鄭護法等請上堂。問:「承和尚有言:『若J40nB494_p0551b19要返本還源,到底不離者一著。』如何是者一著?」師豎J40nB494_p0551b20拂子,云:「看,看。」進云:「秪如返本還源又是甚麼人?」師云:J40nB494_p0551b21「斫額望上座。」進云:「可謂海上宗風惟此勝,天山一脈J40nB494_p0551b22永流通。」師云:「不消得。」問:「世尊出世為一大事因緣,和J40nB494_p0551b23尚陞座說何法要?」師云:「同古同今。」進云:「恁麼則秋清J40nB494_p0551b24紅日朗,天靜碧雲輕。」師云:「猶有者箇在。」進云:「意氣不J40nB494_p0551b25從天地得,英雄豈藉四時催?」師云:「念言語漢。」乃云:「一J40nB494_p0551b26葉落,天地秋;一花開,世界起。百千諸佛向者裏轉根J40nB494_p0551b27本法輪,百千祖師向者裏現色身三昧,如是則山河J40nB494_p0551b28大地是佛、草芥人畜是佛、鱗甲羽毛是佛、蠢動含靈J40nB494_p0551b29是佛。既一切是佛,覓菩薩見、緣覺見、聲聞見尚不可J40nB494_p0551b30得,更說甚麼我相、人相、眾生相、壽者相來?所以道:『一J40nB494_p0551c01處真,處處真,塵塵盡是本來人,真實說時聲不現,正J40nB494_p0551c02體堂堂沒卻身。』諸仁者!既云真實說,因甚又道箇聲J40nB494_p0551c03不現?既云正體堂堂,因甚又道箇沒卻身?苟能相委,J40nB494_p0551c04管保脫卻鶻臭布衫、卸卻炙脂帽子。雖然,且畢竟如J40nB494_p0551c05何是本來人呢?」良久,云:「道箇師姑原是女人做,正眼J40nB494_p0551c06看來還有過,佛見法見兩不生,大座當軒方許坐。」下J40nB494_p0551c07座。
J40nB494_p0551c08修己侍者領江寧通颺宮居士為誕日兼祈嗣,請上J40nB494_p0551c09堂。問:「樂善好施者,總屬廚庫中物。」遂畫圓相,以手作J40nB494_p0551c10擎勢,云:「某甲另呈一種,請受,請受。」師云:「掉向墻南。」進J40nB494_p0551c11云:「豈不孤負學人?」師云:「你道天寧意在甚麼處?」進云:J40nB494_p0551c12「人天之師猶有者箇在。」師便打,乃云:「佛殿裏燒香,山J40nB494_p0551c13門頭合掌,是則是夥信心男子,然未免受人處分。若J40nB494_p0551c14是箇前無威音、後無樓至底,窮天地、亙古今,於一毫J40nB494_p0551c15端現寶王剎、坐微塵裏轉大法輪,任是天中之天、聖J40nB494_p0551c16中之聖,尚窺他頭腦不著,更說甚諸餘?所以道:『一念J40nB494_p0551c17普觀無量劫,無去無來亦無住,如是了知三世事,超J40nB494_p0551c18諸方便成十方。』諸仁者!你看我佛如此告報,大似揭J40nB494_p0551c19杲日於中天,凡有目者無不仰其威光,正當今日增J40nB494_p0551c20百福、益千齡則固是也,且道誕明珠于寶掌、孕美玉J40nB494_p0551c21於藍田又是甚麼人分上事?」良久,云:「不可埋沒他今J40nB494_p0551c22朝請法檀越。」
J40nB494_p0551c23本郡敬之王居士請上堂。問:「七堂梵貝,一樹龍華,無J40nB494_p0551c24限人盡作境話,會得麼?」師云:「枝枝撐著月。」進云:「此猶J40nB494_p0551c25是色見聲求邊事。」師云:「是上座見解。」進云:「某甲敢當J40nB494_p0551c26此識。」師打,云:「亂統作麼?」乃豎拂子,云:「一塵含大地山J40nB494_p0551c27河,說到不如行到;一草現瓊樓玉殿,眼親何若手親?J40nB494_p0551c28你有如是作略,與你如是作略;你無這般機關,奪你J40nB494_p0551c29這般機關。白拈賊偏出自臨濟廝兒,黑撈波未許他J40nB494_p0551c30巖頭老漢。若論此事,如干將莫邪難與爭鋒;休說彼J40nB494_p0552a01機,似拍板門槌易為酬唱。果是箇乘風破敵底手段,J40nB494_p0552a02方可用衝關奪角底機謀。一彈指,掉轉乾坤;一呵氣,J40nB494_p0552a03瀰漫宇宙。更說甚法華鋒前陣、涅槃句後收?雖然,自J40nB494_p0552a04從受得靈山記,常請如來轉法輪,又是甚麼人?」良久,J40nB494_p0552a05云:「洎合忘卻。」
J40nB494_p0552a06泰興諸山尊宿同蔣君錫眾檀越請上堂。問:「蛟龍未J40nB494_p0552a07得水時如何?」師云:「牙爪潛藏。」進云:「已得水時如何?」師J40nB494_p0552a08云:「掀天揭地。」進云:「此中玄玅意,不許別人知。」師云:「上J40nB494_p0552a09座知也,試道看。」進云:「誰家無白月清風?」師云:「未在。」進J40nB494_p0552a10云:「不得壓良為賤。」師休去。蔣居士問:「龍華三會,七處J40nB494_p0552a11宣揚,東土西天,是同?是別?」師云:「也要居士證明。」進云:J40nB494_p0552a12「一花一世界,一葉一如來。」師云:「是你不妨會得好。」進J40nB494_p0552a13云:「好手之中逞好手,紅心心裏中紅心。」師云:「且道室J40nB494_p0552a14中容八萬四千師子座,是神通?是法爾?」進云:「雲從天J40nB494_p0552a15外繞,花向葉邊生。」師云:「作家居士,天然有在。」進云:「即J40nB494_p0552a16今會取龍華意,箇箇當來笑破顏。」師云:「直須珍重。」乃J40nB494_p0552a17云:「風和日皎,雲淨天空,祖師心印,八面玲瓏,雖則是J40nB494_p0552a18吾宗法要,然未免遭人檢點。豈不聞?黃閣簾垂,紫羅J40nB494_p0552a19帳合,體極尊貴,未盡今時,更說甚心印?說甚玲瓏?故J40nB494_p0552a20新豐老子有云:『峰巒秀異,鶴不停機;靈木迢然,鳳無J40nB494_p0552a21依倚。』人若相委,天下衲僧始得無過;其或不然。」遂喝J40nB494_p0552a22一喝,云:「莫守寒巖異草青,坐著白雲宗不妙。」君錫法嗣洞上。
J40nB494_p0552a23語松大師領春明聶居士請上堂。問:「陽春將至,枯木J40nB494_p0552a24花開,內院真機,請師指示。」師云:「乞我一文錢。」進云:「老J40nB494_p0552a25老大大猶向別人討。」師云:「長汀子笑你。」僧便喝,師云:J40nB494_p0552a26「又討棒喫。」進云:「某甲禮拜。」師便打。問:「如何啐啄同時J40nB494_p0552a27句?」師云:「沒者閒工夫。」進云:「作家不啐啄,啐啄同時失,J40nB494_p0552a28又作麼生?」師云:「非公境界。」僧便喝,師打,云:「亂統作麼?」J40nB494_p0552a29進云:「座中猶有江南客,何必樽前唱鷓鴣?」拂袖歸眾,J40nB494_p0552a30師云:「已遲八刻。」乃云:「朝看《法華》,暮閱《般若》,太區區生。J40nB494_p0552b01若是箇婢視聲聞、奴呼菩薩底,他又誰管你天?誰管J40nB494_p0552b02你地?誰管你興?誰管你廢?把箇蓆向日中攤,一味憨J40nB494_p0552b03然工打睡。雖然,忽有箇漢出來問:『如何睡中主?又作J40nB494_p0552b04麼生秪對?』」揮拂子,云:「但將飯向無心碗,自有人提折J40nB494_p0552b05腳鐺。」

J40nB494_p0552b14古鼎知藏領汪廣涵、阮子燦二居士請上堂。問:「當來J40nB494_p0552b15慈氏三會說法,度人萬億;即今天寧七處弘開,度人J40nB494_p0552b16多少?」師云:「不記其數。」進云:「天上人間俱有賴,叢林草J40nB494_p0552b17木盡霑恩。」師云:「不勞讚嘆。」進云:「燈籠拍手笑,露柱暗J40nB494_p0552b18點頭。」師云:「且道為箇什麼?」進云:「兩輪日月光寰宇,大J40nB494_p0552b19地山河一斬新。」師云:「念話社家。」汪居士問:「諦觀法王J40nB494_p0552b20法,法王法如是,如何是第一義?」師云:「天上天下,惟我J40nB494_p0552b21獨尊。」士禮拜,師云:「何不進語?」進云:「覿面是誰?」師云:「猶J40nB494_p0552b22在這裏作窠臼。」問:古人云:「一字搜空萬劫心。未審是J40nB494_p0552b23那一字?」師云:「適來猶記得。」進云:「大好一字。」師云:「且道J40nB494_p0552b24是那一字?」僧以手畫○相,云:「總出者裡不得。」師云:「且J40nB494_p0552b25過一邊。」問:「霜露不凋棲鶴樹,煙波徒羨打魚船,此境J40nB494_p0552b26作麼生奪?」師云:「楊一清笑你。」進云:「不是和尚,大難分J40nB494_p0552b27疏。」師云:「汝是潤州人那?」進云:「某甲實從那邊來。」師云:J40nB494_p0552b28「情知你熟處難忘。」僧擲坐具,云:「從今拋向邗江裏,下J40nB494_p0552b29載清風付作家。」師云:「又與麼去也。」乃云:「靈山會上、少J40nB494_p0552b30室峰前,中有一句子為吾家宗祖所秘,爾諸人齒牙J40nB494_p0552c01間若犯他一絲毫許,則同出佛身血。何以故?不見盤J40nB494_p0552c02山寶積和尚有云:『可中學道,似地擎山,不知山之孤J40nB494_p0552c03峻;如石含玉,那識玉之無瑕?』而今兄弟們都是以一J40nB494_p0552c04知半解而為極則,那知見解為礙而不自在麼?試看J40nB494_p0552c05昔日睦州和尚示眾云:『諸人未得箇入頭處,須得箇J40nB494_p0552c06入頭處;若已得箇入頭處,以後不得孤負老僧。』後來J40nB494_p0552c07木菴和尚拈云:『大小睦州面皮厚多少?木菴則不然。J40nB494_p0552c08若未得箇入頭處,須得箇入頭處;若已得箇入頭處,J40nB494_p0552c09直須颺卻入頭始得。』諸仁者!以入頭處為人,故睦州J40nB494_p0552c10遭他木菴檢點;以颺卻入頭處為人,木菴還免得天J40nB494_p0552c11寧披判也無?或有箇漢出來問:『既無入頭處,又批判J40nB494_p0552c12箇甚麼?』」良久,云:「白雲盡處是青山,行人更在青山外。」
J40nB494_p0552c13華嚴社本生闍黎領眾檀越請上堂。問:「德山入門便J40nB494_p0552c14棒,未免起模畫樣;臨濟入門便喝,猶屬捏目生花。除J40nB494_p0552c15此二途,未審和尚將何接人?」師便打。進云:「是則是,或J40nB494_p0552c16有人問天寧意旨,教學人作麼舉揚?」師又打,云:「猶不J40nB494_p0552c17識休咎。」進云:「不因漁父,怎識桃源?」師云:「且喜春夢醒。」J40nB494_p0552c18問:「《華嚴》偈云:『令心所向皆無礙,現前諸上善人願生J40nB494_p0552c19西方。』且道:軟水洋作麼生過?」師云:「快便難逢。」進云:「是J40nB494_p0552c20則是,太險生。」師云:「知恩者少。」進云:「不可喚此處不是J40nB494_p0552c21西方。」師云:「既是,又要過軟水洋作麼?」進云:「幸有和尚J40nB494_p0552c22作證。」師便打,乃云:「盡十方界是箇浮幢王剎,還有向J40nB494_p0552c23這裏發心住者麼?住則在天同天、在人同人、在佛同J40nB494_p0552c24佛、在菩薩同菩薩、在緣覺同緣覺、在聲聞同聲聞,既J40nB494_p0552c25一切皆同,正古人所謂:無量為一,一為無量。從此而J40nB494_p0552c26進,雖歷信、住、行、向而及地地,然皆不離此發心住而J40nB494_p0552c27為根本,說箇圓融也無妨行布、行布也不礙圓融,根J40nB494_p0552c28根爾、塵塵爾、剎剎爾、念念爾,檢點將來猶是根塵邊J40nB494_p0552c29事,直須掀翻華嚴、捉敗遮那,雲門扇子𨁝跳上三十J40nB494_p0552c30三天,觸著帝釋鼻孔,東海鯉魚打一棒,雨似盆傾,於J40nB494_p0553a01天寧門下始較些子。雖然,且道:恁麼提唱是諸佛真J40nB494_p0553a02機?是祖師要旨?」良久,云:「一任鑽龜打瓦。」
J40nB494_p0553a03城東南溟上座領眾信請上堂。問:「霜露既降,何期十J40nB494_p0553a04月回春?木葉盡凋,喜見嶺梅舒萼。請和尚道箇恰好J40nB494_p0553a05句。」師云:「體露金風。」進云:「神通耶?法爾耶?」師云:「總不在J40nB494_p0553a06這裏。」進云:「更有何人知此心?」便歸眾,師云:「且喜汝知。」J40nB494_p0553a07乃云:「古者道:『震法雷,擊法鼓,布慈雲兮灑甘露。』昨日J40nB494_p0553a08慈雲已布、甘露已灑,今朝特地重震法雷、重擊法鼓,J40nB494_p0553a09且道為箇甚麼?爾諸仁!灶門大副耳朵豎起,要聽山J40nB494_p0553a10僧揚今播古、說青道黃,方謂之提唱宗乘,我道斯人J40nB494_p0553a11未具眼在。老實說向你:盡大地是箇無盡藏,目前風J40nB494_p0553a12動雲起、鳥啼花落,那一物不是祖機?水流山峙、日照J40nB494_p0553a13天臨,那一事不是佛意?必待曲彔床上老榾檛,叨叨J40nB494_p0553a14怛怛卻成缽盂添柄去也。且如何是現成一句?」良久,J40nB494_p0553a15云:「晨朝有粥,晌午有飯。」
J40nB494_p0553a16拈花靈璽和尚五十生辰,請上堂。問:「龍華勝境即不J40nB494_p0553a17問,慶祝一句事如何?」師云:「崗陵可喻,劫石難窮。」進云:J40nB494_p0553a18「秪如威音那畔還加慶祝也無?」師云:「多多益善。」進云:J40nB494_p0553a19「頭頭顯露,法法全彰。」師云:「長連床上底切忌將來。」進J40nB494_p0553a20云:「常言總道休官好,林下何曾見一人?」師云:「沒交涉。」J40nB494_p0553a21問:「末山一脈續至拈花,的的相承一句請師酬唱。」師J40nB494_p0553a22云:「大喻三千,小喻八百。」進云:「祝融峰頂雙松操,邗水J40nB494_p0553a23磯頭一釣垂。」師云:「上座不妨伶俐。」問:「昔日天親問無J40nB494_p0553a24著曰:『彌勒內宮所說何法?』無著曰:『秪說者箇法。』且道J40nB494_p0553a25如何是者箇法?」師云:「不見道:『梵音清雅,令人樂聞。』」進J40nB494_p0553a26云:「今日拈花,或問天寧:『龍華會中所說何法?』又且如J40nB494_p0553a27何秪對?」師云:「好本多同。」進云:「今昔固無異,知音復是J40nB494_p0553a28誰?」師云:「不可埋沒他兩堂龍象。」進云:「拈提向上固然J40nB494_p0553a29二俱作家,慶祝瑤篇還許學人賡和也未?」師云:「你試J40nB494_p0553a30杜撰看。」進云:「一株大樹根盤固,枝榦敷榮不記秋。」師J40nB494_p0553b01云:「秪道得一半。」進云:「有餘不盡之辭,權收歸〈壽量品〉。」J40nB494_p0553b02師哂之。問:「真淨界中纔一念,閻浮早已萬千春。如何J40nB494_p0553b03是真淨界中之一念?」師豎起拄杖。進云:「與麼則南山J40nB494_p0553b04松柏添青翠。」師云:「莫將境對人。」進云:「一毫頭上三千J40nB494_p0553b05界,萬里歌謠樂太平。」師云:「珍重將去。」乃豎起拂子云:J40nB494_p0553b06「看看!秪這箇無聖凡名、非男女相,人若相委,妙總真J40nB494_p0553b07風不離當處,末山宗範豈外目前?如是則過去威音J40nB494_p0553b08歷千劫而不古,未來樓至蔭百福以長今,何待雞足J40nB494_p0553b09山前親蒙授受、龍華會裏入室參承,方謂之燈傳無J40nB494_p0553b10盡、算衍恒沙?所以道:心源一統,綿亙十方,無分淨穢,J40nB494_p0553b11頭頭是仁壽之鄉,那論嶮夷?處處乃安樂之境,只貴J40nB494_p0553b12承當於文彩未生前,自然脫略於聲色既形後。且超J40nB494_p0553b13宗越格一句又作麼生道?」復揮拂子云:「燈傳大樹知J40nB494_p0553b14無既,長與人間作導師。」
J40nB494_p0553b15北來、福隆兩和尚領七會眾居士請上堂。問:「如何是J40nB494_p0553b16啐啄同時眼?」師云:「我識得你也。」進云:「如何是啐啄同J40nB494_p0553b17時用?」師云:「念你年老,且放過一頓。」進云:「某甲即不然,J40nB494_p0553b18自從打破漆桶後,碎啄同時眼裏砂。」師云:「杜撰不少。」J40nB494_p0553b19進云:「重破月來花弄影,浪隨波轉水無痕。」師云:「轉見J40nB494_p0553b20沒交涉。」乃云:「聞聲悟道,見色明心,目前端的孰知音?J40nB494_p0553b21若謂明之者如秋潭月影,悟之者似靜夜鐘聲,都盧J40nB494_p0553b22總屬透金塵,直須摟翻窟穴、擊碎家珍,管保伊聲和J40nB494_p0553b23響順、道泰時平。南無觀世音,將錢特地買胡餅,人多J40nB494_p0553b24謂之怪力亂神,雲門老子婆心切,殷勤導汝過關津。J40nB494_p0553b25且道過後如何?」良久,云:「回頭失卻來時路,咫尺歸家J40nB494_p0553b26罷問程。」
J40nB494_p0553b27廣濟和尚率淨聞、輝明二上座暨眾信請上堂。問:「朔J40nB494_p0553b28風凜凜,黃葉飄飄,其中意旨,請師速道。」師云:「上座莫J40nB494_p0553b29眼花。」僧喝,師云:「無人奪你茶鹽袋,亂叫喚作麼?」僧又J40nB494_p0553b30喝,師便打,乃云:「空劫以前有一句子,明如杲日,寬若J40nB494_p0553c01太虛,任是八臂那吒撲不破。爾諸人擬向理路上尋J40nB494_p0553c02他、機智裏測他,握節當胸,實為沉屈。試看達磨老子J40nB494_p0553c03泛鯨濤、涉重溟,纔踏梁土,便把隻蓬蒿箭子將我赤J40nB494_p0553c04縣神洲、草芥人畜、動植飛潛鼻孔一時穿卻,人多謂J40nB494_p0553c05之傳佛心宗。若據天寧正眼看來,實情好與三十拄J40nB494_p0553c06杖。有人相委,於此勵志扶宗,報佛恩德,不為分外;其J40nB494_p0553c07或未然,莫道天台路嶮巇,羊腸更在青霄外。」
J40nB494_p0553c08本城阜生潘護法五十生辰,請上堂。問:「須彌為槌,虛J40nB494_p0553c09空為鼓,曼殊擊時,鶖子起舞,請和尚唱曲囉囉哩,以J40nB494_p0553c10祝維摩居士。」師云:「你還知音麼?」進云:「大好一曲,普請J40nB494_p0553c11大眾出來唱和。」師云:「且道是五音?是六律?」僧便喝,師J40nB494_p0553c12便打,乃豎起拂子,驀喚云:「主人公!你姓甚麼?」自荅云:J40nB494_p0553c13「不得姓。」又喚云:「名甚麼?」自荅云:「不得名。既不得名,又J40nB494_p0553c14不得姓,則當人綿密真體,亙古今而不變,任伊將竹J40nB494_p0553c15杖量丈六了又丈六,量到非非想天,也窮他數量不J40nB494_p0553c16出,何況以一花、一香、一燈、一果而稱祝之?所以《雜花》J40nB494_p0553c17云:『剎塵心念可數知,大海中水可飲盡,虛空可量風J40nB494_p0553c18可繫,無能盡說佛功德。』佛功德既不可盡說,則壽量J40nB494_p0553c19亦不可盡說;壽量既不可盡說,則百福千光亦不可J40nB494_p0553c20盡說;百福千光既不可盡說,則智慧德相亦不可盡J40nB494_p0553c21說;智慧德相既不可盡說,則巍巍乎惟天為大,蕩蕩J40nB494_p0553c22乎名無能名。且道是甚麼人堪承此位?」復豎拂子云:J40nB494_p0553c23「非乃公,則孰能當之?」
J40nB494_p0553c24安阜洲敬吾盛居士同眾信請上堂。「用不及處施一J40nB494_p0553c25機,黃面老子罔措;智不到處用一著,碧眼胡兒罔窺。J40nB494_p0553c26關西子沒頭腦,向北人無面目。有時東勝神洲走馬,J40nB494_p0553c27西牛賀洲著撲;有時南贍部洲打鼓,北俱盧洲上堂。J40nB494_p0553c28梵語唐言,打成一片;村歌社舞,擾作一團。一句句切J40nB494_p0553c29要,一機機著實,更說甚鴉鳴鴉鴉、鵲鳴鵲鵲、婆餅鳴J40nB494_p0553c30婆餅、姑惡鳴姑惡,而不宣明第一義諦?且道是甚麼J40nB494_p0554a01人方具如是用?」乃大喝一喝,云:「那箇男兒不丈夫?」
J40nB494_p0554a02泰興蔣敬華居士六十生辰,請上堂。乃揮拂子,云:「山J40nB494_p0554a03僧今日掃除枝葉,直露本根去也。然本根既露,非人J40nB494_p0554a04間歲月可移,豈天上風霜能老?所以,適來慶而今又J40nB494_p0554a05慶,是名重慶;適來祝而今又祝,是名重祝。重祝之壽,J40nB494_p0554a06壽逾須彌;重慶之福,福如滄海。」驀豎拂子,云:「苟非踏J40nB494_p0554a07著這裏,則福無根而壽無本,焉稱得箇過量大人?試J40nB494_p0554a08看諸人從朝至暮、出作入息,那一刻離得這裏?既離J40nB494_p0554a09不得,則可謂福有根而壽有本也。且向後如何受用?」J40nB494_p0554a10良久,云:「眼前劫石難窮歲,秪見天衣獘六銖。」是日,潘、蔣二君J40nB494_p0554a11同請上堂。
J40nB494_p0554a12本郡李、許二護法仝請上堂。問:「人天總集光明殿,未J40nB494_p0554a13審金襴付阿誰?」師云:「有力者一肩擔荷。」進云:「威音王J40nB494_p0554a14已前成佛竟,又擔荷箇甚麼?」師云:「又與麼去也。」進云:J40nB494_p0554a15「雖然如是,不妨錦上鋪花。」師打,云:「果然。」進云:「可謂言J40nB494_p0554a16中有響,句內藏機。」師云:「不得胡亂測度。」問:「吹毛在握,J40nB494_p0554a17雖無犯手傷鋒;提唱宗乘,如何得不涉唇吻?」師云:「天J40nB494_p0554a18寧有口,只堪挂壁。」進云:「若非和尚,洎合打破蔡州。」師J40nB494_p0554a19云:「豈有與麼事?」進云:「兩行大眾瞞得阿誰?」師便打。進J40nB494_p0554a20云:「不假風雷自有奇,何須更展韶陽令?」師云:「不較多J40nB494_p0554a21也。」乃云:「天高無極,產物者必高;地厚無垠,生材者亦J40nB494_p0554a22厚。所以,瓊宮瑤殿向這裏建立,蘭叢玉樹向這裏滋J40nB494_p0554a23培。若是箇一舉便知底,方知此人出眾人之上,故曰J40nB494_p0554a24無上;此物越眾物之量,故曰無量。無量為天中之天,J40nB494_p0554a25無上為聖中之聖。天寧少精進、多懈怠,一往不知奉J40nB494_p0554a26重,以致板齒生白醭、古殿長青苔。今朝遇大檀越到J40nB494_p0554a27山,揮金辦供,饗我緇流;更請法要,光我法社。且作麼J40nB494_p0554a28生道一句以為他日之記?」良久,云:「多知不負靈山囑,J40nB494_p0554a29持杵擎山願力深。」
J40nB494_p0554a30黃橋悅可、湛空、法慧、古嵩四上座,同陳河宇居士請J40nB494_p0554b01上堂。問:「一千七百則葛藤被某甲將利刀截斷時若J40nB494_p0554b02何?」師云:「未許好手。」僧禮拜,師云:「末後不來,猶虧一半。」J40nB494_p0554b03舉:「昔日天親菩薩從彌勒內宮而下,無著菩薩問曰:J40nB494_p0554b04『人間四百年,彼天為一晝夜,彌勒于一時中成就五J40nB494_p0554b05百億天子,證無生法忍,未審說箇甚麼法?』天親曰:『秪J40nB494_p0554b06說這箇法,秪是梵音清雅,令人樂聞。』諸仁者!天親、無J40nB494_p0554b07著一期問答可謂難兄難弟,但不合以合頭語唐塞,J40nB494_p0554b08方▆▆令千古之下遭人檢點。今日天寧則不然,或J40nB494_p0554b09有人問曰:『人間四百年,彼天為一晝夜,彌勒于一時J40nB494_p0554b10中成就五百億天子,證無生法忍,未審說箇甚麼法?』J40nB494_p0554b11但喚云:『上座。』他若應諾,只向道:『今日堂中特謝供養。』」
J40nB494_p0554b12樊汊法朗、大用二上座同眾信請上堂。「百不思時喚J40nB494_p0554b13作正句,諸人若向這裏住,黑牛眠止水,更曰居頂、曰J40nB494_p0554b14歷歷、曰惺惺、曰佛未生時、曰與麼時,何異將死雀就J40nB494_p0554b15地彈?直饒道箇將與麼時等破一切是非,雖則身手J40nB494_p0554b16有力,只恐便恁麼流布將去,曹溪路上未免水漉漉J40nB494_p0554b17地。」驀以拂子畫一畫,云:「劃斷古人多年葛藤,可中有J40nB494_p0554b18箇獨脫無依底漢子闡大機、發大用,天寧便熱炙盞J40nB494_p0554b19子遞茶他喫,且道是賞伊?罰伊?」良久,云:「參。」
J40nB494_p0554b20安東月菴、子貞、法蔭三菴主請上堂。問:「如何是和尚J40nB494_p0554b21家風?」師揮拂子,云:「會麼?」進云:「忽遇客來,將何秪待?」師J40nB494_p0554b22拈拂子,云:「莫怪麤疏。」進云:「在現前大眾分上又作麼J40nB494_p0554b23生?」師便打。進云:「共穿無底缽,同餐不濕羹。」師云:「略知J40nB494_p0554b24滋味。」乃云:「諸佛未生前,誰家灶裏火無煙?識得煙不J40nB494_p0554b25離火,憑此續焰傳燈,千當萬妥,更說甚五葉一花、收J40nB494_p0554b26因結果?便恁麼去,千祥並集于君、萬物皆備于我,行J40nB494_p0554b27無怨惡、言無口過,因甚紫胡要打劉鐵磨?」良久,揮拂J40nB494_p0554b28子,云:「阿呵呵,好大哥!如此知音,能有幾箇?」
J40nB494_p0554b29安東悉容上座領天如張居士請上堂。問:「風高月冷J40nB494_p0554b30正天寒,擁毳蒲團心未安,就裏喜無塵一點,是何人J40nB494_p0554c01到此中看?」師云:「切忌在鬼窟裏作活計。」進云:「妙高峰J40nB494_p0554c02頂琉璃殿,內有空王好坐參。」師云:「你道天寧話頭落J40nB494_p0554c03在甚麼處?」進云:「恁麼則現前大樹增光彩,喜見高枝J40nB494_p0554c04棲鳳雛。」師云:「笑殺雲居土地。」乃云:「牛欄馬廄,圓覺伽J40nB494_p0554c05藍,癩狗泥豬,十方三世,天寧從不昧人之善,你有半J40nB494_p0554c06斤還你八兩,你有一丈還你十尺,擔板漢穩坐家堂,J40nB494_p0554c07破落戶清貧快樂,須知海岳歸明主,未信乾坤陷吉J40nB494_p0554c08人,縱他白拈賊手段高強,蓋鼠偷狗竊不足憂也。且J40nB494_p0554c09道天寧茶碗裏有上座,上座茶碗裏有天寧,又發明J40nB494_p0554c10甚麼邊事?」乃揮拂子,云:「總不出靈山骨裏印。」
J40nB494_p0554c11高郵悅賢、恒修、天瑞、文機四上座,領黎憶元、欒榮還J40nB494_p0554c12二居士請上堂。「僧堂裏白槌原無對待,禪床上舉話J40nB494_p0554c13太費週遮,說箇擊石火、閃電光,尚屬業識茫茫,自餘J40nB494_p0554c14是甚麼會?也無些小伎倆,烏足為衲僧能事?不見溈J40nB494_p0554c15山問仰山云:『寂子速道,莫入陰界。』仰云:『慧寂信位也J40nB494_p0554c16不立。』溈云:『你信了不立?不信不立?』仰云:『秪是慧寂,更J40nB494_p0554c17信阿誰?』溈云:『若恁麼,秪是箇定性聲聞。』仰云:『慧寂佛J40nB494_p0554c18也不立。』」乃云:「溈仰父子一期酬唱,大似空中舞太阿J40nB494_p0554c19相似,不見痕跡,苟非親入閫奧者,焉能窺他頭底?今J40nB494_p0554c20日天寧打開門戶,直示家風,且道一肩擔荷是甚麼J40nB494_p0554c21人?」驀豎拂子,云:「面目現在。」
J40nB494_p0554c22本府堯臣舒護法率令嗣周士請上堂。問:「千年祖席,J40nB494_p0554c23今日重新,正令全提,如何話會?」師云:「上座喫棒有分。」J40nB494_p0554c24進云:「拈槌豎拂,物外提撕,緊密一句如何指示?」師云:J40nB494_p0554c25「山僧耳背,高聲問將來。」進云:「和尚切莫裝聾作啞。」師J40nB494_p0554c26便打。問:「掬沙供佛,果感輪王,今日舒檀越設齋,果感J40nB494_p0554c27何位?」師云:「非公境界。」進云:「人歸大國方知貴,水到瀟J40nB494_p0554c28湘一樣清。」師云:「親切無過此也。」乃云:「此華藏世界第J40nB494_p0554c29十三重,其地堅固,金剛所成,黃金為墻垣、白銀為階J40nB494_p0554c30砌、珊瑚為臺榭、瑪瑙為橋梁,林木池沼皆演法音,交J40nB494_p0555a01光相羅如寶絲網。諸兄弟!且道此殊勝莊嚴是甚麼J40nB494_p0555a02人居住?是甚麼人受用?若也知得,鋪地金花不離腳J40nB494_p0555a03下,承天玉蕊只在目前,說箇大福德人修、大福德人J40nB494_p0555a04受,大似拗直作曲了也。何以故?蓋當人自有具足智J40nB494_p0555a05慧、具足德相、具足神通、具足富饒。」驀豎拂子,云:「諸人J40nB494_p0555a06若向這裏逴得便行、把得便用,管保與他同一居住、J40nB494_p0555a07同一受用。即今要睹其儀範麼?」良久,云:「且待須臾,自J40nB494_p0555a08當證知。」
J40nB494_p0555a09如皋大覺靈燦上座領楊太君令嗣爾長請上堂。問:J40nB494_p0555a10「道場圓滿即且置,歸源一句請師宣。」師云:「腳踏實地。」J40nB494_p0555a11進云:「可謂人人腳跟點地,箇箇鼻孔遼天去也。」師云:J40nB494_p0555a12「一句合頭語,萬劫繫驢橛。」僧便喝,師云:「屈著上座甚J40nB494_p0555a13麼處?」進云:「不入虎穴,焉得虎子?」師云:「七棒對十三。」乃J40nB494_p0555a14云:「夜來跋尊者放身大睡,睡到無夢、無想、無見、無聞,J40nB494_p0555a15盡乾坤都成箇安樂之鄉,及至日午打三更時方醒J40nB494_p0555a16寤起來,乃打箇呵欠曰:『我又誰管你天?誰管你地?一J40nB494_p0555a17味南窗工打睡。』恰遇箇從大覺場來底,謂曰:『田地穩J40nB494_p0555a18密,不無尊者,若是游戲神通,須還某甲始得。』天寧拄J40nB494_p0555a19杖子向前云:『二公所論各順正理,然未免徐六擔板J40nB494_p0555a20只見一邊,尋常向師僧道箇智有窮幽之鑑而無知、J40nB494_p0555a21神有應會之用而無慮,尚屬教乘,何況祖師門下迅J40nB494_p0555a22速鋒鋩猶是鈍漢,萬里無雲、青天猶在,更論穩密田J40nB494_p0555a23地、游戲神通,豈不節目上更添節目?』且作麼生是無J40nB494_p0555a24有量、過一切量底一句?」卓拄杖一下,云:「出頭天外看,J40nB494_p0555a25誰是我般人?」
J40nB494_p0555a26本郡黃護法請上堂。問:「如何是出格之句?」師云:「放上J40nB494_p0555a27座出一頭。」進云:「八角磨盤空裏走。」師云:「你擬取山僧J40nB494_p0555a28口裏語那?」進云:「閃電之機,徒勞把捉。」師云:「這是甚麼J40nB494_p0555a29所在?」進云:「天寒風勁,伏惟和尚珍重。」師云:「要且沒了J40nB494_p0555a30期。」驀喝一喝,云:「若向這裏入底,說甚玉蘊荊山貴?就J40nB494_p0555b01使拳倒須彌、踢翻滄海,尚未稱衲僧手腳。據實而論,J40nB494_p0555b02若向那邊透過,卻來這邊行履,直下轉自己歸山河J40nB494_p0555b03大地去,只見波濤湧、不見海龍宮,幾多鈍置阿師討J40nB494_p0555b04他鼻孔不著,未免望巖而退耳。天寧今日為你通箇J40nB494_p0555b05入理之門,且如何是脫體無依一句?」良久,云:「釋迦老J40nB494_p0555b06子是甚麼碗脫丘?」
J40nB494_p0555b07真一堂諸公至海安,勝玉上座領田、劉二護法請上J40nB494_p0555b08堂。「今日三教聖人都向龍華會裏大逞神通去也,雖J40nB494_p0555b09妙用無邊,然皆不離此一為根本。故儒者曰:『吾道一J40nB494_p0555b10以貫之。』道者曰:『聖人抱一以為天下式。』釋者曰:『唯此J40nB494_p0555b11一事實。』彌勒菩薩在定中聞得,乃云:『三公所論,可謂J40nB494_p0555b12殊途同歸一致也。秪如一字未著畫之先名箇甚麼?J40nB494_p0555b13若向這裏見得,庶幾不被道冠、儒履、釋袈裟所惑。』三J40nB494_p0555b14公聞之,各俯首歸本位去也。現前一眾還有道得一J40nB494_p0555b15句為他圓話者麼?」良久,無人對。師云:「土曠人稀,相逢J40nB494_p0555b16者少。」便下座。
J40nB494_p0555b17開爐日,座元文鑑和尚請上堂。問:「十方同聚會,箇箇J40nB494_p0555b18學無為,此是選佛場,心空及第歸。如何是選佛場?」師J40nB494_p0555b19云:「東邊擠擠,西邊挨挨。」進云:「如何是心空及第歸?」師J40nB494_p0555b20云:「不是上座境界。」進云:「雪後始知松柏操,事難方見J40nB494_p0555b21丈夫心。」師云:「謾誇好手。」進云:「大眾證明。」師云:「著甚死J40nB494_p0555b22急?」僧一喝,師便打。問:「當陽的旨,今古罕通,掣電光中,J40nB494_p0555b23請垂方便。」師云:「燒香著。」進云:「恁麼則撥開雲霧見青J40nB494_p0555b24天也。」師云:「許你做得山僧侍者。」進云:「若將此事為奇J40nB494_p0555b25特,孤負當年佛祖心。」師云:「灼然,灼然。」問:「請師拈出大J40nB494_p0555b26光明藏。」師云:「沒者閑家具。」進云:「現前大眾以何煆煉?」J40nB494_p0555b27師云:「要棒喫那?」進云:「為甚麼嘉州牛喫禾,益州馬腹J40nB494_p0555b28脹?」師云:「一人傳虛,萬人傳實。」進云:「恁麼則天下覓醫J40nB494_p0555b29人,灸豬左膊上。」師云:「轉見未在。」僧一喝,師便打,乃云:J40nB494_p0555b30「拈花座畔笑盈盈地,斷臂巖前血滴滴地,看他一箇J40nB494_p0555c01喜、一箇悲,致令曹溪路上滾滾無碑記,克由叵耐。若J40nB494_p0555c02教山僧令行西天四七、東土二三,並須喫棒。今日天J40nB494_p0555c03寧聖制初開,若必用瞑眩之藥,爾諸人自然不堪。不J40nB494_p0555c04若打掃古寺閒房,開煖爐度歲。記得虎丘隆祖有云:J40nB494_p0555c05『第一著是真參,第二著是妙悟,第三著任你多知多J40nB494_p0555c06解,不若無求最第一也。』這三貼平胃散,諸人服之,管J40nB494_p0555c07保一箇箇自成自立去。天寧縱有妙密鉗鎚、廣大爐J40nB494_p0555c08韝,亦無施設處。何故呢?不見道:『彼自無瘡,勿傷之也。』」J40nB494_p0555c09便下座。
J40nB494_p0555c10龍華會道場圓滿日上堂,兼謝天、靈二位和尚。問:「五J40nB494_p0555c11旬佛事,今日周隆,行滿功圓一句請師速道。」師云:「諸J40nB494_p0555c12佛生歡喜。」進云:「虎頭虎尾,幸有和尚全收;理事混融,J40nB494_p0555c13更乞聊通一線。」師云:「要上座出一隻手。」進云:「人天億J40nB494_p0555c14萬霑恩澤,一曲陽春和者多。」師云:「珍重流通。」問:「高揖J40nB494_p0555c15釋迦,不拜彌勒,且道是甚麼人?」師云:「出格衲僧。」進云:J40nB494_p0555c16「忽遇箇掀倒禪床、喝散大眾又作麼生?」師云:「試下手J40nB494_p0555c17看。」僧便作掀禪床勢,師云:「獅子咬人,韓盧逐塊。」進云:J40nB494_p0555c18「放者老漢出一頭地。」師云:「賊過後張弓。」乃云:「眼見龍J40nB494_p0555c19樹花開,忽焉龍樹結果,今朝果滿菩提圓也,釋迦、彌J40nB494_p0555c20勒穩坐家堂,文殊、普賢揚聲高叫道:『善哉!天寧寺裏J40nB494_p0555c21佛事場中有三件吉慶事:一者、天日晴明;二者、人緣J40nB494_p0555c22輻輳;三者、大眾和合。』說是語已,釋迦文佛默然許可,J40nB494_p0555c23彌勒大士呵呵大笑云:『二菩薩言則固是也,且道這J40nB494_p0555c24三件吉慶事畢竟因誰致得?』若也明得,方知當人塵J40nB494_p0555c25剎深心;如其不然,不妨聊與通箇消息。」乃揮拂子云:J40nB494_p0555c26「當天一鏡明如日,萬古靈文玉璽中。久立眾慈,伏惟J40nB494_p0555c27體悉。」
J40nB494_p0555c28說戒日,興教石靈和尚率眾檀越請上堂。西堂問:「古J40nB494_p0555c29有尊者,袈裟著身,鬚髮自落,未審是神通妙用,法爾J40nB494_p0555c30如然?」師云:「坐斷兩頭看。」進云:「一句了然超百億,堂前J40nB494_p0556a01何用演三車?」師云:「須是西堂始得。」進云:「恁麼答話,秪J40nB494_p0556a02有寒灰發燄,且無石筍抽條。」師云:「原來不領話。」進云:J40nB494_p0556a03「明知老漢慣用此機。」師云:「卻被你勘破。」堂一喝,師便J40nB494_p0556a04打,乃云:「禪禪,達磨來自普通年;戒戒,波離親續瞿曇J40nB494_p0556a05派。二老漢今日同到天寧,各逞本事去也。諸人要識J40nB494_p0556a06達磨禪麼?銀亮竹篦,喚著則觸,不喚則背。」以拂子向J40nB494_p0556a07左指云:「過者邊著。要識波離戒麼?墨黑袈裟,放之則J40nB494_p0556a08顯,收之則藏。」以拂子向右指云:「過者邊著。驀遇箇副J40nB494_p0556a09貳傳化底,攙前長揖曰:『傳持禪道,不無迦葉師兄;主J40nB494_p0556a10張戒律,自有波離尊者;興嚴教法,須是阿難阿弟始J40nB494_p0556a11得。』說是語已,各各如鼎,三足而立。天寧拄杖子向前J40nB494_p0556a12致問曰:『教外別傳是禪否?』迦葉師兄云:『是。』『一大藏經J40nB494_p0556a13是教否?』阿難阿弟云:『是。』『五篇七聚是戒否?』波離尊者J40nB494_p0556a14云:『是。』拄杖子復呵呵大笑曰:『三公如此提唱,釋迦一J40nB494_p0556a15宗掃土而盡。豈不聞明眼人沒窠臼?若是箇無欲無J40nB494_p0556a16依底,直下拗折竹篦,卷起袈裟,焚卻本子,方始安樂J40nB494_p0556a17得人。』爾現前諸人要識天寧拄杖子麼?」驀卓三下,云:J40nB494_p0556a18掀「翻海岳求知己,撥亂乾坤見太平。」下座。
J40nB494_p0556a19早參。「彌勒真彌勒,分身千百億,時時示時人,時人自J40nB494_p0556a20不識。忽然識……」遂攛下竹篦,云:「原來秪是這箇賊。」
