J39nB471_p0959b02 J39nB471_p0959b03康熙十九年庚申十月,住遠安三化山朝陽庵。開山J39nB471_p0959b04云:「荊棘劈開建法幢,無邊妙義廣含藏,今朝就裏親J39nB471_p0959b05拈出,一段光明照十方。」揮杖云:「拄杖撥開千手眼,金J39nB471_p0959b06沙湧出白蓮香。」次年二月,進院。山門,云:「遙來佛址正J39nB471_p0959b07當陽,內結蓮臺湧道場,左列青龍拱瑞象,右排白虎J39nB471_p0959b08朝師王,堂中盡是伽陀客,世外並無狐野狂,從此今J39nB471_p0959b09朝開法後,燈傳綿遠道風香。」近座,云:「退隱居山卻世J39nB471_p0959b10繁,風聲鳥語太無端,今朝只得應時節,箇事從來嗣J39nB471_p0959b11有緣。」陞座,拈香:「此瓣香,不同四季榮枯相,豈受三光J39nB471_p0959b12秀氣粧?朝陽堂上親拈出,端祝J39nB471_p0959b13皇圖永久長。」次拈香云:「此瓣香,描不成兮畫不就,十方J39nB471_p0959b14法界同香臭,法筵聖眾得聞聞,自獲神天垂默佑。」復J39nB471_p0959b15拈香云:「此瓣香,鷲嶺分枝,曹溪發幹,濟北花開,萬峰J39nB471_p0959b16果燦,今從三化山上重拈出,供養先師敏老漢。」斂衣J39nB471_p0959b17坐。白椎竟,問答未錄,乃云:「辭卻祗園住大平,一方應J39nB471_p0959b18跡一番新,竿頭撥轉潤三有,拄杖挽回利四生,方便J39nB471_p0959b19先傳根本戒,開爐後煉礦中庚,平生不說二乘法,頗J39nB471_p0959b20賴利鈍機淺深。所以戒者,乃小乘毘尼而為裝嚴,外J39nB471_p0959b21表法身,內純心地。禪者,最上一乘無極之道,悟之者J39nB471_p0959b22超脫諸有,故此今朝先傳聖戒而為進道之基,後示J39nB471_p0959b23心宗永作出世津梁,由戒生定發慧,見性明心,莫不J39nB471_p0959b24由斯戒也。」
J39nB471_p0959b25上堂。云:「莊嚴聖戒精同禪,會得過來無二三,撿點現J39nB471_p0959b26前真作用,百千三昧一毫端。試問:離者一毫端又在J39nB471_p0959b27甚麼處?呵呵!謾道老僧不道破,道破依舊惹人嫌。識J39nB471_p0959b28得的,兩腳著地;不識的,雙眉朝天。多嘴阿師實道出,J39nB471_p0959b29方知鼻直兩眉橫,當初只為分南北,直至而今落二J39nB471_p0959b30三。者裏有不落二三者麼?出班領戒。」
J39nB471_p0959c01上堂。云:「拄杖向東南,缽盂朝西北,曇花晝夜繁,總教J39nB471_p0959c02人識得。且道識箇甚麼?莫不是善人發大菩薩心,來J39nB471_p0959c03此飯眾聞法,得省父母未生前面目者麼?若論者箇J39nB471_p0959c04道理,自幼未出閨門時,梳粧臺前見過了也。呵呵!百J39nB471_p0959c05年三萬六千日,返復原來是者箇。珍重。」
J39nB471_p0959c06上堂。揮拂云:「會麼?此是禪耶?是戒耶?若道作戒,觸犯J39nB471_p0959c07不得;若道作禪,逆背不得。不觸不背,喚作甚麼?」一喝,J39nB471_p0959c08云:「不是戒兮不是禪,無繩自縛討縈纏,袈裟三領遮J39nB471_p0959c09千惡,錫杖一莖斷萬緣。絕是絕非忘四相,離聞離見J39nB471_p0959c10了三玄,從今不墮有無見,一味平常悟性天。」
J39nB471_p0959c11上堂。云:「此箇清幽絕學門,十人進步九難行,實是吾J39nB471_p0959c12家真種草,豈肯虛張留浪名?今朝陞座無別,蓋緣眾J39nB471_p0959c13善聞老僧刈草立標竟,誠來辦齋,堅請登座說法。老J39nB471_p0959c14僧到來,無法可說,祗好唱首太平歌以酬信,供有耳J39nB471_p0959c15者諦聽。」師良久,云:「聽麼?文詞將近,梵音深遠。」
J39nB471_p0959c16上堂。云:「白牛牽轉耕心田,一顆菩提子種堅,只待開J39nB471_p0959c17花結果日,不勞舉步到西天。昨因眾善至此,老僧將J39nB471_p0959c18西天一夜移在目前。」舉杖,云:「見麼?若向者裏見得,八J39nB471_p0959c19功德水平地湧出,九品蓮花滿地放開。從此不了,葛J39nB471_p0959c20藤遍地長,荊棘滿山生。」
J39nB471_p0959c21上堂。舉杖,云:「高懸慧日,明暗色空俱照,萬物光輝。」揮J39nB471_p0959c22拂,云:「甘露一灑,山河大地清涼,含情霑潤。且道還有J39nB471_p0959c23照不著、潤不到者麼?」擲下拄杖,云:「木上座!疾速去遮J39nB471_p0959c24天蓋地,掃盡狐群狗隊,貴乎天下太平。」
J39nB471_p0959c25上堂。云:「贊不喜兮毀不嗔,失脫楊枝有淨瓶,雖然無J39nB471_p0959c26有觀音願,慣好人間保子孫,但有至誠懇禱者,自獲J39nB471_p0959c27熊罷夢裏驚。今朝山僧不吝囊藏,開大便門,效我觀J39nB471_p0959c28音大施慈悲,亦作三十二應,凡有希求必獲如意,名J39nB471_p0959c29題張居士,特因祈嗣來此若合符。呵呵!雙雙蝴蝶庭J39nB471_p0959c30前舞,隊隊麒麟堂上威,離愛割親龐善人,求緣祈嗣J39nB471_p0960a01張居士。一箇是開籠放雀,一箇是垂鉤釣魚,謾道其J39nB471_p0960a02中無縱奪,但觀舉意動機時。」
南漳臥龍寺紳衿監院因佛誕迎師。至山門,云:「佛祖J39nB471_p0960a04門庭,表裏相稱,瓦子外敲,主人內應,賓主分明,理事J39nB471_p0960a05清正,優劣雖分,智愚同性。雖然如是,權把智門暫放J39nB471_p0960a06開,後任世類一齊進。」天王殿,喝云:「幾箇村夫,形勢太J39nB471_p0960a07麤,威鎮山門,莫妄征誅,摧邪輔正,沒箇親疏。老僧至J39nB471_p0960a08此轉法輪,遣任遣兮呼任呼。」至大殿門,云:「惟有到頭J39nB471_p0960a09一著難,剛纔擬動落言詮,不聞不睹難思議,仰則彌J39nB471_p0960a10高鑽則堅,撒手懸崖轉步易,到家秪在剎那間。」至佛J39nB471_p0960a11座,喝一喝,云:「大膽太麤心,三界獨稱尊,兜率不消得,J39nB471_p0960a12娑婆賣風聲。拈花略些子,亙古遺禍根,今朝覿面親J39nB471_p0960a13相會,只得躬身禮拜尊。」展具三禮。據室,云:「摩耶室而J39nB471_p0960a14原窄,秪容百萬人天,有請彈指說法,無事高枕[噗-口+鼻]眠,J39nB471_p0960a15調和六味濟饑寒,免教人人少欠。」監院興安辦齋,請J39nB471_p0960a16上堂。至座,云:「異響天樂,法螺法鼓齊鳴,此箇法王寶J39nB471_p0960a17座,不免老夫親登,青獅白象一齊吼,狐兔群邪膽碎J39nB471_p0960a18傾。」震威一喝,便陞。拈香,云:「此瓣香,葉覆大地,枝滿乾J39nB471_p0960a19坤,信手拈來,奉為J39nB471_p0960a20當今滿朝文武、邑郡紳衿、法筵善眾一火動蒸,只待菩J39nB471_p0960a21提道果熟,永證金剛不壞身。」斂衣坐。白椎竟。「若觀老J39nB471_p0960a22僧第一義,未出丈時以全備,既登無畏法王臺,信手J39nB471_p0960a23拈來無不是,若從者裏犯鋒鋩,一棒虛空都打碎。」舉J39nB471_p0960a24拂示云:「會麼?」以拂一揮,云:「回光覺照易,向外馳求難,J39nB471_p0960a25昔日優填王,思佛刻栴檀,處處遺蹤跡,教設顯實權,J39nB471_p0960a26利根演直指,鈍頑說二三,普眼觀色悟,觀音耳根圓,J39nB471_p0960a27拈花安心事,平空把人瞞,四喝與八棒,三要及三玄,J39nB471_p0960a28既道無一字,何故落言詮?天龍明一指,一生用不完,J39nB471_p0960a29渠儂分上事,不比眾老先。未入門時三十棒,欲擬開J39nB471_p0960a30口攔腮摑,著有著無盡成非,聞聲睹色都是瞎。若了J39nB471_p0960b01明,無一法,但覺胸中一點恰,纔將者點掃乾盡,又報J39nB471_p0960b02皇宮生悉達。」
J39nB471_p0960b03上堂。云:「今朝是佛誕,感動眾上善,都司張護法,同造J39nB471_p0960b04金牛飯,供佛及供僧,老僧酬一半,還有那一半?各自J39nB471_p0960b05返觀看。」舉杖,云:「見麼?」一卓,云:「聽麼?若論者箇道理,三J39nB471_p0960b06世諸佛有口說不出,歷代祖師有耳聽不入,此是達J39nB471_p0960b07摩西來直指,安心教外別傳,梁皇覺得後追悔,通國J39nB471_p0960b08人迎永不還,面壁九年誰敢怪?安心斷臂惹人嫌。且J39nB471_p0960b09問大眾:實是有心安耶?無心安耶?若道有心安,虛空J39nB471_p0960b10面目難描畫,水月鏡花誰敢攀?若道無心安,碓頭米J39nB471_p0960b11熟三更盡,獦獠無故道風旛,曹源香水長流永,一花J39nB471_p0960b12五葉至今傳。所以,山僧隨帶一枝半葉至於臥龍院J39nB471_p0960b13中,欲嗣一箇知音,惟恐大眾道吾私心;不然,放在拄J39nB471_p0960b14杖頭上,上供諸佛以作慶誕,次令法筵僧俗具眼者J39nB471_p0960b15可觀。」舉杖,云:「見麼?若向者裏見得,枝枝葉上立彌陀,J39nB471_p0960b16朵朵花中坐釋迦;其或不然,方寸田中種顆子,因緣J39nB471_p0960b17時至長靈芽。呵呵!宏福、清福總不差。」
J39nB471_p0960b18上堂。云:「只因懶畫杖頭圈,退步閒居三化山,晝任風J39nB471_p0960b19雲簾外舞,夜隨星月枕邊旋,經行坐臥運時節,喫飯J39nB471_p0960b20穿衣推歲年,今幸諸山禪客至,一番拈起一番鮮。所J39nB471_p0960b21忖者居山日久,面塵口𣾴,惟恐方不影圓、直不映曲,J39nB471_p0960b22蓋緣諸座而求戒、緣眾善來祝予齡,只得勉強陞座,J39nB471_p0960b23將二十年前舊家私拈出其前,有耳共聽、有眼同觀。」J39nB471_p0960b24舉杖,云:「見麼?」一卓,云:「聽麼?若向者裏見得真、聽得清,J39nB471_p0960b25受戒的不勞披展,一時體全;祈福的不假布施,福壽J39nB471_p0960b26綿延。此中勿論在家、出家,是儒、是玄,既到山僧者裏,J39nB471_p0960b27大家共處團圞。龐公云:『大家團圞頭,共說無生話。』大J39nB471_p0960b28眾!者無生話如何?」師良久,云:「莫道無生無不生,無生J39nB471_p0960b29話說等知音,朝陽山峻路蹊險,到此應當續祖燈。」傳J39nB471_p0960b30戒竟,云:「吾年六十六,世事頗知足,富貴如浮雲,榮華J39nB471_p0960c01若電拂,栽茄不結瓜,種荳豈生粟?一顆菩提子,阿僧J39nB471_p0960c02劫保蓄,今日拈來供十方,人人收斂心田浴,至待功J39nB471_p0960c03高行滿日,自有龍天推送出。到者裏,說甚佛?光明放J39nB471_p0960c04出遍河沙,鐵笛橫吹還鄉曲。」
J39nB471_p0960c05上堂。云:「冬九嚴寒萬物休,漁翁罷釣挽舫舟,若無獅J39nB471_p0960c06子不張網,既有鯨鱗可下鉤。所云者,惟政禪人自丹J39nB471_p0960c07徒數千里遙來乞戒,重請陞堂,先說戒中消息,以便J39nB471_p0960c08行持。何也?戒有兩般,心無二用。兩般者,心戒、相戒;二J39nB471_p0960c09用者,體持、用持。戒者,心也;衣者,意也。心意相連,戒衣J39nB471_p0960c10不二,心舉意動,心定意寂,意如野馬,心似墻壁,意若J39nB471_p0960c11狂猿,心能拘執,渾然無心,大事已畢,此乃心戒也。相J39nB471_p0960c12戒者,三衣缽杖,儘有收放,披則禮佛,酬則架上,觸衣J39nB471_p0960c13褲子,紬布一樣。若著此裳,斷見疑謗;不著此裳,盲跛J39nB471_p0960c14失杖。戒如將軍,衣似護將,將若出師,良馬先撞。將軍J39nB471_p0960c15安營,四顧堅壯,日謹看煙,夜謹觀火,晝夜提防,六時J39nB471_p0960c16躊唱,退則歸隱,進則開創,凱角一聲,幾生幾喪。此戒J39nB471_p0960c17此衣,如將軍披鎧,努力前上,永無退轉之心,必得取J39nB471_p0960c18勝平蕩。心戒、相戒,一復如是。戒有鈍漸,持有次第,比J39nB471_p0960c19丘戒若舉子,菩薩戒猶進士。禪師乃法中之王,不敢J39nB471_p0960c20輕自妄諭,視聽分明,出班受具。」
復回祗園上堂。至座,云:「無為為座,性空作臺,試問阿J39nB471_p0960c22誰?原人再來。」陞座,拈香,云:「此瓣香,世出世間全體獨J39nB471_p0960c23露,劫前劫後迥脫根塵,今朝拈爇爐中,奉為J39nB471_p0960c24當今皇帝、各府王公、楚屬尊官、本郡紳衿、法筵善眾,伏J39nB471_p0960c25願壽同海嶽,福與天齊。」斂衣坐,云:「者遭不比那一遭,J39nB471_p0960c26一番提起一番高,有問老僧的的句,一棒到頭一箇J39nB471_p0960c27皰。」問:「今日打,明日打,不知打殺多少人?」師云:「頗恨不J39nB471_p0960c28上心。」進云:「學人上心如何?」師云:「上心必死。」問:「和尚此J39nB471_p0960c29復回,何其太惡殺?」師云:「當初攝魚上鉤,而今敲骨打J39nB471_p0960c30髓。」進云:「聞者耳痛,近者腦熱。」師云:「曾不下空鉤,沒箇J39nB471_p0961a01魚兒有箇鰍。」問:「趙州狗子有佛性,溈山牯牛有也無?」J39nB471_p0961a02師云:「雖有佛性,皮毛太厚。」進云:「魚無皮毛,和尚可教J39nB471_p0961a03麼?」師云:「一釣便上鉤。」進云:「上鉤時如何?」師云:「鮮炒熱J39nB471_p0961a04賣。」乃云:「閒來無事四方釣,魚龍螃蟹一齊罩,魚化為J39nB471_p0961a05龍志氣高,蝦蟹成蛟皆悟道,溈山水牯性氣粗,趙州J39nB471_p0961a06狗兒怪亂噪,此回敲骨打人髓,惡辣臭名識者笑,野J39nB471_p0961a07馬野牛喚不回,畫箇圈兒任𨁝跳。」舉杖,云:「會麼?唯此J39nB471_p0961a08者箇無毛大蟲,三世諸佛捉摸不見,獨我釋迦老人J39nB471_p0961a09雄才,多諸方便,先將五戒縛定六根,次以十戒惡轉J39nB471_p0961a10十善,二百五十條條緊綁,再加四百密扎一遍,返復J39nB471_p0961a11自問:罪從何起?仔細推敲,毫無些犯,覈定罪福,無受J39nB471_p0961a12無持,一身潔白,戒純自斷,持戒原係鐵石人,參禪定J39nB471_p0961a13要金剛漢,擇身心如皎月,陞堂入室方纔算。」
J39nB471_p0961a14辭眾,上堂。「同居荊楚已多年,不忍分星眾了然。噯!寧J39nB471_p0961a15可攜風帶露走,安能倚草傍蘆眠?從來海鷃嫌天窄,J39nB471_p0961a16自古井蛙喜地寬。幸有漁樵來接引,一層波外一重J39nB471_p0961a17天。諸兄弟,聽吾言,苦口叮嚀告眾賢。莫把光陰錯過J39nB471_p0961a18了,掉頭不知甚麼顏?任憑八萬四千門,脫卻輪迴第J39nB471_p0961a19一禪。勤苦戀,急窮研,不明生死莫貪眠。話頭一舉疑J39nB471_p0961a20情起,緊把繩頭著意看。工夫做到兩忘處,自然有日J39nB471_p0961a21得輕安。得輕安,莫放鬆,猶如烈馬去追風。追到無涯J39nB471_p0961a22盡底處,急加鞭更向前沖。兩腳踏翻銀鐵壁,一手扭J39nB471_p0961a23著主人公。咍!早識鏵頭生鐵瀉,方知佛殿是泥龍。若J39nB471_p0961a24還不識主人面,取箇譬喻與眾見。大塞乾坤細微塵,J39nB471_p0961a25體若虛空形似幻。難描難畫自如如,長短方圓隨物J39nB471_p0961a26喚。一毫頭上放光明,六根門裏神通變。聖凡分上無J39nB471_p0961a27增減,諸佛眾生同一岸。老僧今日分明指,行行句句J39nB471_p0961a28如秦鑑。扭轉機關消息子,貪名圖利精扯淡。頌曰:授J39nB471_p0961a29師密教到荊襄,惡辣鉗錘鍛十方,煉箇師兒眼孔窄,J39nB471_p0961a30稍纔得意逞輕狂。不如退步回川去,自有諸方論短J39nB471_p0961b01長,法嗣算來五十四,塔前幾箇去拈香?」
J39nB471_p0961b02上堂。至座,云:「寶座威威瑞氣生,如來留待老僧登,今J39nB471_p0961b03朝佛誕正其時,直上拈香報四恩。」便陞。拈香,云:「迦毘J39nB471_p0961b04羅排芽,摩羯陀發叢,波羅奈開花,拘尸果紅手疾拈J39nB471_p0961b05來。先奉蒼穹三教,賢聖人王一同,但願聞香凡轉聖,J39nB471_p0961b06三塗八難不相逢。」斂衣坐,云:「愍念眾生嘆苦哉,別離J39nB471_p0961b07兜率出凡胎,諸佛降生於此日,普天匝地供香齋。所J39nB471_p0961b08以德明叨為佛子,無何報恩,營經磕頭,化眾信心,營J39nB471_p0961b09齋辦供,供佛及僧,三宗有益,九族無驚,聞法信受,漸J39nB471_p0961b10長善根,有力施於三寶地,掉過頭來享現成。」
J39nB471_p0961b11上堂。問:「今日壽星親降臨,和尚可見麼?」師云:「見。」進云:J39nB471_p0961b12「向甚麼處見?」師云:「鶴帶雲飛,鸞隨風舞。」問:「一部《藥師J39nB471_p0961b13經》能延多少壽?」師云:「字句行行算清報來向汝道。」進J39nB471_p0961b14云:「句有長短,字亦無量。」師云:「福有厚薄,壽無增減。」乃J39nB471_p0961b15云:「佛法周旋宇宙,為人增福延壽,求男求女求緣,只J39nB471_p0961b16在一經一咒。若遇無心道人,稍靜剎那百就,一般喫J39nB471_p0961b17飯穿衣,功悟淺深薄厚,縱有擎龍縛虎手,水中捉月J39nB471_p0961b18不能搆,識得玄元真奧妙,海作福田山作壽。」
康熙二十二年癸亥,自楚回川,僧俗請仍住聖壽石J39nB471_p0961b20牛寺。三月初十,入院。山門,云:「法門高闊原無禁,星月J39nB471_p0961b21風雲任往來,照顧腳跟妨滑石,休行傍側踐蒼苔。」至J39nB471_p0961b22天王殿基,云:「分明本是天王殿,四聖何方去顯靈?佛J39nB471_p0961b23祖宗風重整頓,速來聖壽鎮山門。」至正殿基,云:「虛空J39nB471_p0961b24作殿住千佛,日月為燈照萬靈,天垂寶蓋覆大覺,地J39nB471_p0961b25湧金盆托真人,無為真佛坐其中,妙性圓明不露形。」J39nB471_p0961b26顧視左右,云:「見麼?若向者裏見得,勿勞插草梵宮竟,J39nB471_p0961b27纔舉新符萬物春;者裏不見,正好其中具隻眼,同證J39nB471_p0961b28金剛不壞身。」舉杖,云:「還見麼?無為真佛從老僧者拄J39nB471_p0961b29杖頭,飛在諸人眉睫上放光動地,總教人人覿體承J39nB471_p0961b30當,休錯過,徹底掀翻可放心,若信人王在世佛,當知J39nB471_p0961c01法王出劫尊。」進法堂,云:「多年行腳身居外,今日方知J39nB471_p0961c02得到家,經歷十方留正眼,任回西蜀利三巴。利生且J39nB471_p0961c03止,如何是到家一句?」良久,云:「青山綠水還依舊,世事J39nB471_p0961c04人情毫不差。」即日,眷眾辦齋,請上堂。至座,云:「老衲離J39nB471_p0961c05鄉十八春,四海攀罾獨捕麟,百計千方隱不住,任回J39nB471_p0961c06聖壽顯精神。」喝一喝,便陞。拈香,云:「此瓣香不老不嫩、J39nB471_p0961c07無舊無新,拈爇爐中,奉為J39nB471_p0961c08聖君、滿朝文武、闔國公卿、西蜀尊官、文武紳衿、諸山耆J39nB471_p0961c09宿、合道場人,大家伸出補天手,早悟伽陀身外身。」斂J39nB471_p0961c10衣坐。白椎竟,師云:「四方經歷覓投機,不識其中更有J39nB471_p0961c11誰?真實餐松飲露者,如今正是出頭時。有麼?」問:「和尚J39nB471_p0961c12仁慈浩大,經歷兩京十省,幾許學人當機?」師云:「說禪J39nB471_p0961c13的似牛毛,悟道的如兔角。」問:「和尚到京師受王候供,J39nB471_p0961c14以何酬答?」師云:「平常但無心,日費斗石金。」進云:「今日J39nB471_p0961c15聖壽又如何?」師打云:「一棒到頭一跡痕。」問:「因甚麼獅J39nB471_p0961c16子窟中無異獸?」師云:「百鳥豈肯棲鳳巢?」問:「佛性平等,J39nB471_p0961c17無有高下,因甚商虐周慈?」師云:「佛性本不二,天性各J39nB471_p0961c18有殊。」進云:「佛性既無二,何言迷乃眾生、悟即是佛?」師J39nB471_p0961c19云:「分別不少。」進云:「望垂明示。」師:「打開頂門眼,佛性無J39nB471_p0961c20迷悟,逐境情緣生,脫空曰自度。」乃云:「自度度人人自J39nB471_p0961c21度,生死關頭無兩路,豎起一條鐵脊梁,六門緊閉牢J39nB471_p0961c22拴固,一朝囓破鐵饅首,扶起放倒任渠做。須道老僧J39nB471_p0961c23行腳,兩京十省週轉,一為先人命令,二留名跡施展,J39nB471_p0961c24學道先存利生,遞傳心印法眼,一棒打箇唧溜漢,何J39nB471_p0961c25愁法門不高顯?青毬須去黃貂來,豈肯邀譽圖近冕?J39nB471_p0961c26貧衲近將七十旬,回川尋箇老落點,孝順賢徒賢孫,J39nB471_p0961c27至意誠心厚款,從此師徒團圓,早晚切忌疏懶,二時J39nB471_p0961c28佛事精嚴,堂中勿缺鐘板,時時舉起正念,工夫漸漸J39nB471_p0961c29前趲,一口吸盡西江,莫枉回川一轉,獅子窟中獅子J39nB471_p0961c30吼,鳳皇巢裏鳳雛閃,古古今今,一般手眼。」
J39nB471_p0962a01上堂。云:「今朝盡道佛生辰,宗匠原頭第一人,特此拈J39nB471_p0962a02香勳鼻孔,誰知面目太麤生?三祗果滿超凡世,一念J39nB471_p0962a03歸真出五行,拈花出自無心舉,十方因此俱稱尊。四J39nB471_p0962a04七二三分兩土,塵塵剎剎鼓風聲,七十正傳歸聖壽,J39nB471_p0962a05慧燈續燄永長明。今朝幸我孫居士,上供拈香慶世J39nB471_p0962a06尊,香爇爐中供諸佛,法宣座上示當人。」拈起香,云:「者J39nB471_p0962a07是香,如何是法?佛云:『止止不須說,我法妙難思。』多寶J39nB471_p0962a08云:『快說,快說,願樂欲聞。』拘此者二大老,一箇止說、一J39nB471_p0962a09箇快說,且道說的是、不說的是?今朝在山僧分中,勿J39nB471_p0962a10論說與不說、是與不是,兩片口皮嘴上生,一莖白棒J39nB471_p0962a11手中利。上柱諸天兮,日月星辰無二光;下著匝地兮,J39nB471_p0962a12艸木叢林有四序;運轉五湖四海兮,指定波瀾清透J39nB471_p0962a13底;週旋四山五嶽兮,化頑為賢愚轉智;龍吟虎嘯兮,J39nB471_p0962a14三乘五果齊俛首;獅子奮迅兮,魔佛諸天俱退位;撥J39nB471_p0962a15轉天關兮,大鵬展翅飛千里;挽迴地軸兮,香象林中J39nB471_p0962a16無雜類。呵呵!常聞諸方好說箇末後句,山僧喜道出J39nB471_p0962a17身句。如何是出身句?」震威一喝,云:「大千沙界,舉目盡J39nB471_p0962a18在掌中心;百億須彌,剎那不離方寸地。」
J39nB471_p0962a19楊、王、吳、蔡、席,十月初五日稚髮,上堂。至座,云:「古人以J39nB471_p0962a20法空為座,拈花微笑當奇貨;山僧以座空為法,彈指J39nB471_p0962a21光飛遍塵剎。若向者裏會得,恒沙世界派派水流歸J39nB471_p0962a22巨海,百億須彌朝朝日出轉扶東;者裏不會,且向崑J39nB471_p0962a23崙山頂剷青草,阿耨池中魚化龍。」便陞。拈香,云:「此瓣J39nB471_p0962a24香,無相福田布種,三界火宅排芽,人我山上茂長,名J39nB471_p0962a25利場中開花。今朝覺得果熟,捧來呈獻釋迦,先酬國J39nB471_p0962a26王水土,次謝親師教奢,從今跳出樊籠去,歷行直到J39nB471_p0962a27▆▆家。」斂衣坐,云:「佛祖門庭高峻,四眾均皆有分,無J39nB471_p0962a28▆▆▆為僧,有疑向前請問。」士問:「在家能修得行麼?」J39nB471_p0962a29▆▆▆▆修行勝出家,須識火裏長蓮花。」進云:「願求J39nB471_p0962a30自▆▆行如何?」師云:「出家修行勝在家,一身潔白玉J39nB471_p0962b01無瑕。」士問:「業緣深厚,不能擺脫,和尚如何方便?」師云:J39nB471_p0962b02「再在做一場夢來向汝道。」進云:「弟子晚晚有夢。」師云:J39nB471_p0962b03「夢拾金銀麼?」進云:「或時夢有,或時夢無。」師云:「有時收J39nB471_p0962b04存,待醒時用。」進云:「夢中收斂,一醒盡空。」師云:「從此知J39nB471_p0962b05覺長醒,醒著不復做夢,自然解脫。聽頌:不貪名利不J39nB471_p0962b06求榮,須學老僧道不貧,夢裏般般皆稱意,醒來不見J39nB471_p0962b07收金人。」問:「如何是西來意?」師云:「通國人追看不見。」進J39nB471_p0962b08云:「如何是祖師意?」師云:「立雪齊腰通身顫。」進云:「如何J39nB471_p0962b09是和尚意?」師云:「眾生度盡方滿願。」進云:「如何是學人J39nB471_p0962b10意?」師云:「徹底掀翻救一半。」進云:「居士出家是何意?」師J39nB471_p0962b11云:「鬚髮落地塵緣斷。」進云:「出家後如何?」師云:「一把钁J39nB471_p0962b12鋤三斤半,荒田荒地都耕轉。」乃云:「荒地荒田總教人J39nB471_p0962b13人下些好種,下種得真,莫枉辜負前程。學道門獨趨J39nB471_p0962b14悟的一字,別求深進,都是傍門。達磨來此,只說個安J39nB471_p0962b15心,心之一字了不可得。造化合符,霎時風雨聚會;機J39nB471_p0962b16關撥轉,剎那星曜呈祥。急水灘前撥轉,梢頭牢把柁;J39nB471_p0962b17孤峰頂上踏翻,海底湧波濤。萬仞崖邊退步,方識根J39nB471_p0962b18源深遠;百尺竿頭轉身,足見意氣清高。法門正要剛J39nB471_p0962b19斷果決漢,眾居士不知誰是出格英豪?料想眾居士J39nB471_p0962b20自念:鬧市場中無休日,閃灼光陰有幾何?趨進三寶J39nB471_p0962b21而求出身路也麼?咦!門裏出身易,身裏出門難,若還J39nB471_p0962b22欲到平安地,預先咬破生鐵饅。所以,宗門茶飯如同J39nB471_p0962b23鐵釘飯、木楂羹,嚼來嚼去沒滋味。若到者沒滋味處,J39nB471_p0962b24正是好境界,不生退志,終成大器。所以,老夫預先告J39nB471_p0962b25過:莫只到萬里不生草、大地無寸土,那時悔之莫及。J39nB471_p0962b26聽老僧授記:出家不是當尋常,如鑽鐵壁與銀墻,大J39nB471_p0962b27韝爐中鍛煉出,何愁不作法中王?」
J39nB471_p0962b28師誕日,上供。云:「不覺行年六十八,復轉聖壽沒傝𠎷,J39nB471_p0962b29不得孝心幾位徒,顯把諸方都笑殺。老僧此一回川J39nB471_p0962b30者,特為料理先師語錄,兼且拜掃祖塔,煩累眾家賢J39nB471_p0962c01徒生了許多躊𨂵。不然,還往行腳十方,任我週匝有J39nB471_p0962c02緣,撞箇趙二、王三、羅七、丁八,只待虎嘯龍吟,任我興J39nB471_p0962c03宗揚法,一時權衡在手,別有無限機括。今朝多承盛J39nB471_p0962c04設,不免愧情受納。」
J39nB471_p0962c05即日傳沙彌戒,上堂。云:「人人有箇圓明珠,埋藏線下J39nB471_p0962c06兩相疏,聖壽今朝親拈示,方圓長短任憑呼。或呼為J39nB471_p0962c07主者,可作三界內外萬物之主;或呼為奴,可作世出J39nB471_p0962c08世間偷天換日之奴。神龍識得,飛上天都;J39nB471_p0962c09朝廷識得,萬代山呼;宰官識得,為民父母;庶民識得,為J39nB471_p0962c10真丈夫;僧眾識得,聯芳千古;眾生識得,退卻凡軀;唯J39nB471_p0962c11有老僧識不得,結跏趺坐嘴嚧嘟,成住壞空全不昧,J39nB471_p0962c12只今亙古永長殊。」
癸亥住華嚴,上堂。拈香,白椎竟,斂衣坐,云:「芙蓉錫躍J39nB471_p0962c14踄華嚴,在處洪波白浪掀。雨洒何須風拂地?雲飛那J39nB471_p0962c15用幕遮天?威威獨步潤三有,迥迥孤圓照大千。凡有J39nB471_p0962c16一方未點化,普心豈肯放私偏?所以,十方諸大菩薩J39nB471_p0962c17端以利生之心為心,山僧遍通法界亦以行道之念J39nB471_p0962c18為念。今見滵𣻜上人,不貪不妄、無怒無嗔,老僧一見J39nB471_p0962c19甚喜,獨不喜者科頭跣足。謾道科頭不是行,心地不J39nB471_p0962c20明枉苦蹭。蹭到皮穿幾見骨?因緣福報不須問。」
甲子歲,上滇看望將軍蔡、巡府王二位護法,就便上J39nB471_p0962c22雞足古庭、當家徹俊同往,俊云:「和尚拈香,處處垂語,J39nB471_p0962c23以留宗眼。」迦葉殿云:「自從那畔威音別,直至而今符J39nB471_p0962c24合節,千里遙來無點獻,心香一片爐中爇。伏望華門J39nB471_p0962c25早放開,接引眾生出火宅,賜神通,救末劫,何須執定J39nB471_p0962c26等彌勒?七十輩孫來到此,只得精心恭敬謁九首。」至J39nB471_p0962c27金頂,拈香云:「此瓣香,莊嚴劫前下種,賢聖劫裏花開,J39nB471_p0962c28世尊昔日拈示,百萬人天俱獃,贏得尊者笑盈腮,亙J39nB471_p0962c29古遺留禍胎。」展具合掌云:「任憑化身塵現、剎現、無量J39nB471_p0962c30現;道澄有塵說、剎說、無量說。是則須是,唯有笑的一J39nB471_p0963a01字,口似懸河,說他不著。」顧視尊像云:「何為不開生藥J39nB471_p0963a02舖?單單好賣死貓頭。」至華首,門前有尊者像,師云:「常J39nB471_p0963a03聞尊者入定在內,云何還在外?」問:「不在內、不在外,實J39nB471_p0963a04在甚麼處?」師震威一喝云:「且道在內在外?」呵呵云:「不J39nB471_p0963a05在內兮不在外,剎塵塵剎身心在,三災劫火俱為塵,J39nB471_p0963a06獨此華門永不壞。」
J39nB471_p0963a07迦葉殿建鐘樓鼓閣,請師陞座。師云:「慧燈發燄正當J39nB471_p0963a08陽,遞代相傳列有行,東土二三如麥粟,西天四七若J39nB471_p0963a09麻糧。崖窩水洞成名剎,平地高山盡覺場,遍界塵沙J39nB471_p0963a10諸佛子,淵流始末豈能忘?所云者,雞足山吾祖隱身J39nB471_p0963a11入定之道場,時遭劫火以傾隤,幸此達一行者經歷J39nB471_p0963a12四大名山,至此募化十方,建成四印圓寂,尚有未了J39nB471_p0963a13公案又作麼生?」以拄杖一卓,云:「鐘樓鼓閣有孤月,掌J39nB471_p0963a14管常住況無能?料理當家且太虛,仗力十方共湊成。」J39nB471_p0963a15以拄杖指梁,云:「分明本是棟梁材,卻逢良匠巧安排,J39nB471_p0963a16幸遇老僧敲打過,十方雲集俱和諧。一棒打開智慧J39nB471_p0963a17眼,二棒擊醒活如龍,三棒東倉西庫滿,四棒南庄北J39nB471_p0963a18畝充,五棒五宗花葉茂,六棒六和道業濃,七棒七佛J39nB471_p0963a19恒住世,八棒八荒來歸從,九棒燈傳續久遠,十棒頓J39nB471_p0963a20超十地空。今日輕敲重打過,為梁作棟各西東,當陽J39nB471_p0963a21為主鎮山木,輕輕陞上坐居中,只待功成行滿日,香J39nB471_p0963a22名自獲十方充。金鐘左撞如龍舞,玉鼓右敲似虎雄,J39nB471_p0963a23驚醒人間瞠眼夢,方知日出不離東。當陽寶鑑無私J39nB471_p0963a24照,宇宙山河色色空,有時尊者定中出,不鐘自鳴不J39nB471_p0963a25鼓鼕。」以拄杖一卓,下座。
十八,離雞足,轉大理府,挂錫大悲寺。大眾留住傳戒,J39nB471_p0963a27提臺桑護法請師進衙。齋次,逐一將出家得法根源J39nB471_p0963a28細問一番,辭出。即日辦齋,請諸山就大悲寺相陪。齋J39nB471_p0963a29次,小參,云:「山僧舉動因何來?隨喜四般瑞色堆。六月J39nB471_p0963a30雪山真奧妙,九冬花樹甚奇哉。波濤不散海中月,風J39nB471_p0963b01閃難搖枝上開。真乃上方仙佛國,檀那有福物情該。J39nB471_p0963b02正所謂:有福之人能坐有佛之地。故此,桑護法不昧J39nB471_p0963b03靈山付囑,現宰官身,心慈意善,敬佛法僧,毫無羈慢,J39nB471_p0963b04整理塔廟,裝修庵觀,恤鰥憐寡,寒衣饑飯,不惜珠資,J39nB471_p0963b05孤貧普散,斷除諸惡,常行十善,天耳遙聞,佛眼觀看,J39nB471_p0963b06利名掃得開,愛根割得斷,纔顯人間大丈夫,為甚癡J39nB471_p0963b07呆等大限?佛出皇宮入雪山,至今千古免塗炭。既為J39nB471_p0963b08人臣,公事先幹,本分一勺,回光自判。仔細思量無了J39nB471_p0963b09期,何須苦苦往前鑽?呵呵!那箇男兒不是漢?」
J39nB471_p0963b10上堂。至座,云:「拄杖恒開不夜花,特來此處覓生涯,烏J39nB471_p0963b11藤不肯擅輕舉,一棒到頭一作家。」便陞。拈香,云:「此瓣J39nB471_p0963b12香,寂寂無言下種,惺惺擬動發生,劫前劫後不減,者J39nB471_p0963b13畔那畔豈增?拈爇爐中,奉為J39nB471_p0963b14當今文武百官、大理紳衿、雞足耆宿、洞府聖僧,伏願拄J39nB471_p0963b15杖振開正法眼,當下發明妙覺心。」斂衣坐。白椎竟,師J39nB471_p0963b16云:「竹笻芒履到滇南,覓箇知音豎祖權,當機一拶渾J39nB471_p0963b17身汗,和盤托出為君傳。」以源流拂子傳,下座。付石鐘J39nB471_p0963b18後閣覺愚,更號興隆德旺禪人,囑云:「世尊正法眼藏J39nB471_p0963b19付與摩訶迦葉,遞代相傳,在老僧處正傳七十代。老J39nB471_p0963b20僧行化四十餘年,行年七十,應當交付於汝,廣行流J39nB471_p0963b21布,勿令斷續。珍重。」問答未錄,乃云:「七十涉滇為利生,J39nB471_p0963b22芒鞋踏處細叮嚀,拄杖頭邊暉日月,分明照透當人J39nB471_p0963b23心。」以杖畫一圓相,云:「會麼?從前不會打之遶,勉強畫J39nB471_p0963b24箇元字腳,惟有者箇圈𡇈軒昂、孤聳舒暢,識得的喚J39nB471_p0963b25作大圓鏡智,不會的認作裝米籮筐,人人好似蛀米J39nB471_p0963b26蟲,只知喫飯穿衣,那管末後郎當?正所謂:衣架逢飯J39nB471_p0963b27囊,相見笑一場,煖飽無別慮,唯妨病臥床,眼前混得J39nB471_p0963b28過,難哄老閻王。業鏡無私僻,照透肝肺腸,善惡從心J39nB471_p0963b29起,一見自慚惶。閒時不問歸家路,行到中途向那廂?J39nB471_p0963b30幸遇老僧親指點,無影山前有座無縫塔,安身立命J39nB471_p0963c01第一風光,有問老僧清淨戒,杖拗豬頭供十方。」傳衣J39nB471_p0963c02竟,下座。
J39nB471_p0963c03上堂。云:「強人嘴似釘。」拍案,問:「主賓齊到一齊打,兩來J39nB471_p0963c04兩處侵,機關若會得,棒喝有重輕。」舉杖,云:「有縱有奪,J39nB471_p0963c05無疏無親,具眼禪和,休辨假真。」問:「四大本空,如何是J39nB471_p0963c06真?」師打,云:「知痛知癢,略傍相應。」進云:「不著痛癢如何?」J39nB471_p0963c07師云:「土木頑石,打碎無益。」問:「四喝八棒何處分賞罰?」J39nB471_p0963c08師連打,云:「前賞後罰,更兼活殺。」問:「畫虎不成如何?」師J39nB471_p0963c09云:「脈絡不清。」進云:「何日魚化龍?」師云:「上方欽賜過,雷J39nB471_p0963c10鳴雨現成。」乃云:「風過雷鳴普降霖,賓主了然歷歷明,J39nB471_p0963c11角虎入山憑躍舞,珠龍出穴恁飛騰,甘雨潤四洲,慈J39nB471_p0963c12雲覆萬靈,草木逢春惺,花果遇秋凝,老僧知足入山J39nB471_p0963c13妙,留箇清高香美名。」拽杖,下座。
J39nB471_p0963c14上堂。「佛開八萬四千門,南北東西任往行。作福年深J39nB471_p0963c15生福地,行凶日永磊凶墳。四生六道隨心轉,十惡八J39nB471_p0963c16邪任意輪。死去生來無了日,輪迴週轉不暫停。非是J39nB471_p0963c17山僧不教化,無根破謗亂云評。善哉如來慈愍故,隨J39nB471_p0963c18類脫生改姓名。趙李張王可貴賤,周楊孔呂任富貧。J39nB471_p0963c19高卑妍醜遍通應,掃盡煙塵更起雲。欲把眾生普度J39nB471_p0963c20湖海山岡一掌乎?所以世尊悟日云:『末運眾生性情J39nB471_p0963c21暴惡,難調伏化。』即今看起薄惡剛強之世,不忠孝、逆J39nB471_p0963c22尊卑、訕謗三寶、嫉姤良善,惡如狼、毒似虎,想起佛語,J39nB471_p0963c23其實不虛。大眾!佛昔用盡方權,菩薩種種應現,引入J39nB471_p0963c24法門,尚且返來爭雄並勢,山僧有何德能敢向其中J39nB471_p0963c25興波作浪?汝等懼怕三災劫,精進勇猛,超出劫外頑J39nB471_p0963c26皮,不顧性命,吾莫如之何也。古有云:『父子上山,各自J39nB471_p0963c27努力。』聽吾一頌:打不醒兮罵不羞,在伊輪轉何時休?J39nB471_p0963c28老僧退隱歸山去,一任癡心隨逐流。」
