結制上堂。「本圖閒散愛高眠不謂西東已一年此事J36nB369_p0924c06分明無揜蔽青山綠水在門前所以遊客謳吟村人J36nB369_p0924c07謉諢動脣有響開口成音著著與諸人提持此事J36nB369_p0924c08了山僧多少氣力蓋終日于中受用而有不知者J36nB369_p0924c09諸而他求誠為顛倒此等說話大似向空裏拋一塊J36nB369_p0924c10石子打著得一個半個徹底知音可謂一生事畢J36nB369_p0924c11無其人山僧不得已再向空裏拋塊石子如有觸得J36nB369_p0924c12敢保如貧得寶如暗得燈如病得差如夢得醒J36nB369_p0924c13也錯過諸人性命還在山僧手裏。」乃擊拂子顧左右J36nB369_p0924c14日歟月歟不深省定應倏忽成蹉跎。」

蕭山吳門智愷五十生辰請上堂。「盡大地是箇真實J36nB369_p0925a05道體誰分是聖是凡是男是女盡大地是箇微妙法J36nB369_p0925a06孰謂有短有長有廣有狹?」豎拂子:「向者裏見得J36nB369_p0925a07信得及得其淺者可以孝敬事上可以慈仁訓下J36nB369_p0925a08金蘭之室和氣藹然玉樹之庭春風燠若證入深者J36nB369_p0925a09成就一切世界莊嚴一切剎境各各不相知彼彼不J36nB369_p0925a10相借如是則知世裔與道裔爭繁壽命與慧命共衍J36nB369_p0925a11復以寶花滿掬親到曹山殷勤三請欲說箇知命因J36nB369_p0925a12提箇出世綱要山僧既已願赴來機不妨重添註J36nB369_p0925a13不是心不是佛不是物山山列翠自多奇歲歲相J36nB369_p0925a14看元不別。」

顯聖深谷和尚至上堂。「雲門家裏白雪之歌新豐路J36nB369_p0925a16上陽春之曲象王有撩天鼻孔不易唱酬師子有踞J36nB369_p0925a17地威雄實難賡和所以山僧性同野鹿跡類飛鴻J36nB369_p0925a18時愛月眠遲有時惜花起蚤苟非情忘彼此理絕正J36nB369_p0925a19未免遭他簡點道應機謬亂行徑異常不顧石頭J36nB369_p0925a20一枝埽土而盡賴有顯聖師兄韻高絕俗響徹驚群J36nB369_p0925a21振聵提矇是其餘事特到曹山要尋箇節拍相諧底J36nB369_p0925a22敵手故我妄通消息光輝祖道垂秋日一體同仁好J36nB369_p0925a23弟兄。」

上堂。「天下知識門庭繁盛倉實如陵庾充如坻此時J36nB369_p0925a25大開筵席以招賢者兩班雍肅萬指森嚴有者鍋子J36nB369_p0925a26上索羹索飯有者火爐邊說主說賓有者道我目空J36nB369_p0925a27佛祖不立纖塵有者道我胸藏萬有繁興大用曹山J36nB369_p0925a28者裏冷清清地緇田易匱檀舍難求隨家豐儉任意J36nB369_p0925a29相將雖有四五十個窮酸衲子要坐要行總無拘束J36nB369_p0925a30或來或去不用鉤錐所謂彼我皆忘而無向背。」驀拈J36nB369_p0925b01拄杖曰:「釋迦老子來也且道來為箇什麼?」卓一下曰J36nB369_p0925b02我法妙難思止止不須說。」

陶門弟子徐智暉四十初度追嚴請上堂豎拂子曰J36nB369_p0925b04大眾看看如來在曹山拂子頭上放種種音莊嚴微J36nB369_p0925b05塵世界光明開悟一切眾生入于聞熏聞修金剛大J36nB369_p0925b06三昧海是故遇斯光者顯發正知正見險道中廓圓J36nB369_p0925b07融之路塵勞內施回互之機向一念未生以前看見J36nB369_p0925b08本來面目千門萬戶盡底豁開罔極深恩從茲報荅J36nB369_p0925b09迺知蝸牛角上世界最寬蚊蚋眉間風光迥異萬法J36nB369_p0925b10不離心印好山都在屋頭便能圓無量行滿無量願J36nB369_p0925b11得無量樂證無量壽何待出離母胎㘞地一聲到了J36nB369_p0925b12不疑不惑田地然後點頭自許曰:『此段光明原不分J36nB369_p0925b13賢愚貴賤緇素男女但有心者皆可證得。』老釋迦聞J36nB369_p0925b14曹山如此闡揚不覺手舞足蹈大聲慶讚大眾且道J36nB369_p0925b15慶讚箇甚麼世間出世同途事松老南山見歲寒。」

大慶院請上堂。「殘山之麓大路通霄多少人到者裏J36nB369_p0925b21無由進步賸水之灣圓音震吼多少人到者裏有耳J36nB369_p0925b22絕聞蓋此箇事本無滲漏豈落正偏在家裏人分上J36nB369_p0925b23秖要忘得失于生佛已前究根元于威音那畔不必J36nB369_p0925b24深思巧摸隨手把將過來可以陶聖鑄凡可以匡時J36nB369_p0925b25救弊可以開拓人天正路可以闡揚佛祖鴻猷所以J36nB369_p0925b26一度施為一度光鮮一番敲磕一番慶快拄杖子見J36nB369_p0925b27如此激揚不禁踴躍乃高聲喚曰:『長老向謂有箇奇J36nB369_p0925b28特事要說無因欲默不得今日大慶院設齋趁此時J36nB369_p0925b29好說了也。』山僧道:『有甚奇特?』」卓拄杖:「白雲出峽晴J36nB369_p0925b30堪畫流水盈門煥至文。」

陶門眾善人請上堂。「煙雲絢彩石壁玲瓏魚閑翻浪J36nB369_p0925c06鳥逸翀霄款乃漁歌流韻扶疏古木成章此是人人J36nB369_p0925c07自在受用之無盡藏也但隊進隊出總以麤心測度J36nB369_p0925c08淺見揣摩糞埽堆頭揀得一星以當大事正是認一J36nB369_p0925c09浮漚目為全潮果具大根大器者聞著便悟徹根元J36nB369_p0925c10舉著便直探底蘊則知大道無相不以男女分至化J36nB369_p0925c11無垠不以真俗異所以過去諸如來現在諸菩薩J36nB369_p0925c12來修學人盡在其中同一受用同一作息體離斷常J36nB369_p0925c13心無異致。」以拂子擊案一下:「無盡藏已打開了J36nB369_p0925c14珍八寶已撒向諸仁缽盂裏了如有嚼得著者便好J36nB369_p0925c15因齋慶讚山僧敢不成褫你?」擲拂子下座

上堂:「雲蓋智和尚曰:『昨日登山看釣魚步行騎馬J36nB369_p0925c17失卻驢有人揀得駱駝去重賞千金一也無若向者J36nB369_p0925c18裏薦得不著還草鞋錢。』」師曰:「雲蓋恁麼道草鞋錢固J36nB369_p0925c19不著還未免倏南倏北徙運無常欲得金輪不御J36nB369_p0925c20化遠孚有藉諸仁道取一句。」乃良久曰:「絕境當年不J36nB369_p0925c21厭尋平田此日媿行吟山堂懶聽浮沉事高臥軒窗J36nB369_p0925c22月自臨。」

上堂良久曰:「有無量妙法要與諸仁說一時想不起J36nB369_p0925c24。」復良久曰:「是了是了十一月十五劈面寒風無處J36nB369_p0925c25兩兩三三曝背向火可笑釋迦一生枉受辛苦J36nB369_p0925c26磨九年釘樁搖櫓天下諸大老個個麻纏紙裹總不J36nB369_p0925c27如樊江市上相公廟裏壁角落頭張三李四一隊伴J36nB369_p0925c28不論有無互為賓主喫得醉醺醺飽齁齁地上鋪J36nB369_p0925c29箇破席子兩腳長伸自在眠趯破虛空不用補。」顧左J36nB369_p0925c30右曰:「好不好?」便下座

上堂:「雪峰因僧問:『學人大事未明乞師指示。』峰曰J36nB369_p0926a05是甚麼?』僧于言下大悟。」師曰:「我為君子欲天下人為J36nB369_p0926a06君子雪峰之心無不至矣其僧于言下悟去可謂志J36nB369_p0926a07以時成名因勢立若到曹山門下拄杖未肯放過在J36nB369_p0926a08何故鳳縈金網尤為礙鶴出銀籠始是奇。」

上堂驀喚曰:「拄杖子。」自曰:「長老有何分付?」復曰:「此時J36nB369_p0926a10你應出來高提祖印大闡宗猷終日倚墻靠壁東躲J36nB369_p0926a11西穴是何道理?」自曰:「長老言之過矣若是高提祖印J36nB369_p0926a12大闡宗猷自有一千五百人過堂喫清水白米飯底J36nB369_p0926a13大和尚我才學得個烏龜法得縮頭且縮頭J36nB369_p0926a14在荊棘中豈不自討苦喫?」復曰:「恁麼則現前許多龍J36nB369_p0926a15象莫不孤負他去?」自曰:「長老若不吝慈悲我當出來J36nB369_p0926a16毘贊。」復曰:「山僧說底恐不合時宜。」自曰:「敢問其所以J36nB369_p0926a17不合?」拈拄杖曰:「拄杖子𨁝跳上天觸折舜若多神脊J36nB369_p0926a18蹎將下來打破常住方磚。」卓一下

上堂:「德山因臨濟侍立次山曰:『今日困那?』濟曰:『J36nB369_p0926a20老漢寐語作麼?』山便打濟掀倒禪床山休去。」師曰:「J36nB369_p0926a21個漢飯飽弄箸家醜自揚不顧傍人揀點古今商量J36nB369_p0926a22都道棋逢敵手琴遇知音恁麼見解要見臨濟德山J36nB369_p0926a23太遠在且道曹山意作麼生狂歌思阮籍長嘯傲孫J36nB369_p0926a24。」

上堂:「南泉上堂曰:『王老師賣身去也還有人買麼?』J36nB369_p0926b02一僧出曰:『某甲買。』泉曰:『不作貴不作賤汝作麼生買?』J36nB369_p0926b03僧無對。」師曰:「王老師只要出脫滯貨豈知時價不等J36nB369_p0926b04其僧固有交易之心且無酬價之意天下宗匠判斷J36nB369_p0926b05甚多總非當行斟酌所以彼此鈍置若是曹山當時J36nB369_p0926b06待他道:『不作貴不作賤汝作麼生買?』但向他道:『知心J36nB369_p0926b07不在多言語憑據何須紙半張。』」

除夜小參。「劫前風韻二聽絕聞格外徽猷五眼莫睹J36nB369_p0926b13世尊拈花萬古式俎豆之事達磨面壁千秋徵文獻J36nB369_p0926b14之宜德山棒頭開筵待士臨濟喝下闢路求賢循名J36nB369_p0926b15可美攷實未嘉總須按過一邊可以置之不論曹山J36nB369_p0926b16除夜蓋是平常不比東村王老燒錢哄鬼非效北禪J36nB369_p0926b17烹露地白牛多費唇舌現前諸仁既然相聚不妨同J36nB369_p0926b18為慶頌來年還我豐隆人人坐笑春風切為己躬下J36nB369_p0926b19高興無窮莫把光陰虛度羞見江東但願鼻孔仍J36nB369_p0926b20在口邊眉毛不離眼上可消憂悶幾千重。」

復舉:「睦州因僧問:『一言道盡時如何?』州曰:『老僧在你J36nB369_p0926b22缽囊裏。』」師曰:「陳尊宿被者僧一問大似欠了千萬貫J36nB369_p0926b23到臘月三十日被人抑逼將來無地藏身卻向缽J36nB369_p0926b24囊裏躲閃若是有膽量底將缽囊裂破看他是何面J36nB369_p0926b25設問曹山:『一言道盡時如何?』『今宵歸舊臘明日賀J36nB369_p0926b26新年。』」

上堂。「新年頭佛法有鏡清道了也新年頭佛法無J36nB369_p0926b28教道了也雖則聲調一般看來二俱失利曹山佛法J36nB369_p0926b29不說有不說無元朝已過十日騷人韻士醉漢村夫J36nB369_p0926b30連袂來遊載歡載歌或嘲或笑若是碩學飽參頂門J36nB369_p0926c01眼正自能言氣相合機感相孚倘不然者……」卓拄杖曰J36nB369_p0926c02曹山今日失利。」

上堂:「德山棒臨濟喝總置不論忽遇向上人來J36nB369_p0926c04何接待?」師曰:「八面玲瓏無縫罅。」:「秖如掀倒禪床J36nB369_p0926c05散大眾又作麼生?」師曰:「恐上座不是其人。」僧便喝J36nB369_p0926c06亦喝乃曰:「諸方能為雅調新聲山僧只說陳年舊話J36nB369_p0926c07僧問趙州曰:『承聞和尚親見南泉是否?』州曰:『鎮州出J36nB369_p0926c08大蘿蔔。』趙州被此僧一逼將心肝五臟一齊傾出J36nB369_p0926c09今收拾不來阿呵呵好大哥今人作人多自私我心J36nB369_p0926c10不說那得知!」

上堂:「雲門因僧問:『如何是和尚家風?』門曰:『久雨不J36nB369_p0926c12。』僧曰:『如何是久雨不晴?』門曰:『曬㫰著。』」師曰:「前無古J36nB369_p0926c13後無將來緝正大之業雲門嘗自詡之及乎扣擊J36nB369_p0926c14乃草率應酬頓見家風蕭瑟曹山雖然冷澹不致如J36nB369_p0926c15此荒疏或有問:『如何是和尚家風?』『漏笊篱撈無米飯J36nB369_p0926c16破砂盆搗爛生薑。』」

上堂:「國一禪師因馬祖遣智藏來問曰:『十二時中J36nB369_p0926c21以何為境?』一曰:『侍汝回去時有信。』藏曰:『即今便回去。』J36nB369_p0926c22一曰:『傳語馬祖道:「卻須問取曹溪。」』」師曰:「馬祖推心而J36nB369_p0926c23所以其命維新智藏竭力無嫌可謂使不辱命J36nB369_p0926c24一簾垂黃閣化馳如神至親無文憲章有在子細看J36nB369_p0926c25總屬虛詞都無實義山僧有同門亦遣問曰:『十二J36nB369_p0926c26時中以何為境?』對他道:『山好登樓看漁歌隔岸聞。』J36nB369_p0926c27道古人底是山僧底是具眼者甄別看。」

出隊歸上堂。「洞山接人雅分三路雲門應機一字相J36nB369_p0927a07可見二大老但有制猢猻底器械無歸龍象之體J36nB369_p0927a08曹山者裏也無三路語也無一字關從春徂夏J36nB369_p0927a09鞋踏武林夜月遊笻探五洩靈蹤自西自東或出或J36nB369_p0927a10且道還有為人處也無?」擊拂子:「清論固云多J36nB369_p0927a11話信非一。」
