J36nB369_p0920a04唯岑嶾和尚木主入祖堂,上堂。「鼓無生櫂于五濁,湍J36nB369_p0920a05流逆順皆為方便。御大寶車于四衢,廣路高低等示J36nB369_p0920a06宗途。使箇箇證得妙樂妙常,人人洞明正知正見。須J36nB369_p0920a07是尊貴之人不處尊貴之位,乃可去來無礙,雁過長J36nB369_p0920a08空,宛轉偏圓,船歸古岸。所以有時轉位就功,四溟騰J36nB369_p0920a09春水之波。有時轉功就位,萬壑鎖晴巒之翠。有時功J36nB369_p0920a10位齊施,脫珍持糞器,挂獘惜金甌。有時功位俱隱,蒼J36nB369_p0920a11龍閣上閒雲合,彩鳳樓頭曉霧攢。大眾!此是慧花和J36nB369_p0920a12尚末後為人一段本懷,向山僧舌尖上盡情吐露了。J36nB369_p0920a13知恩報恩固已森稠,祇如尊貴底人畢竟向甚麼處J36nB369_p0920a14行履?」良久:「桂花飄馥丹墀煖,蟾影入簾白日長。」
J36nB369_p0920a15上堂。舉:「雲居膺和尚因僧問:『僧家畢竟如何?』居曰:『居J36nB369_p0920a16山好。』僧禮拜,居曰:『你作麼生會?』曰:『僧家畢竟于善惡J36nB369_p0920a17生死逆順境界,其心如山不動。』居打曰:『孤負先聖,喪J36nB369_p0920a18我兒孫。』又問傍僧:『你作麼生會?』僧禮拜曰:『僧家畢竟J36nB369_p0920a19眼不觀青黃之色,耳不聽絲竹之聲。』居曰:『孤負先聖,J36nB369_p0920a20喪我兒孫。』」師曰:「我顯聖門下英賢,濟濟有藉,出來下J36nB369_p0920a21一語,免得孤負先聖,喪我兒孫。」良久:「困來高枕石頭J36nB369_p0920a22眠,不管三更日卓午。」
J36nB369_p0920a23南山天愚和尚至,上堂。天愚和尚白椎曰:「法筵龍象J36nB369_p0920a24眾,當觀第一義。」師顧左右曰:「大眾!南山和尚已為諸J36nB369_p0920a25人說法了,教山僧說箇甚麼?」良久:「諦觀法王法,法王J36nB369_p0920a26法如是。」便下座。
J36nB369_p0920a27上堂。「熱處盡愛乘涼,寒時俱願向火。嚼飯箇箇充饑,J36nB369_p0920a28喫茶人人止渴。從上佛祖遞代相承,究竟到極則處,J36nB369_p0920a29莫不是日用尋常活計?祇如雪峰將三箇木毬輥出J36nB369_p0920a30又作麼生?井畔梧桐飄一葉,山頭數片是秋雲。」
J36nB369_p0920b01百愚和尚訃至,上堂。「為法王者如日普照,是處非處J36nB369_p0920b02咸被光臨,有情無情皆承輝煥,朗長夜昏衢,破千年J36nB369_p0920b03暗室。況復挺拔俗高標,有絕塵步驟,總化權于掌上,J36nB369_p0920b04患難不移;蘊祖道于胸中,是非莫顧。矢心偕鐵石齊J36nB369_p0920b05堅,惠利與春風共仰,明月洲前斜飛玉鷺,珊瑚樹下J36nB369_p0920b06慣唱金雞。何期善慶和尚忽將無孔鐵笛吹出廣陵J36nB369_p0920b07古調,二十四橋分疏不下,大千世界震動靡寧。雲門J36nB369_p0920b08得箇消息也忍俊不禁,特為舉似大眾:哀哀!紅樹雨J36nB369_p0920b09餘多慘澹,青山雲重轉糢糊。」
J36nB369_p0920b10上堂。「世尊睹明星而成正覺,洞山涉流水乃證真常。J36nB369_p0920b11顯聖寺裏曾不究妙窮玄,亦不麤言細語,連日刈禾J36nB369_p0920b12割稻,與諸人的的提持箇事了也。且那裏是為人徹J36nB369_p0920b13困處?一聲天暖教停手,箇箇歡然點首行。」
J36nB369_p0920b14上堂。舉:「長慶示眾曰:『淨潔打疊了。近前就我索,劈脊J36nB369_p0920b15與你一棒。有者一棒到你。你須具大慚愧。若無者一J36nB369_p0920b16棒到你。你向甚麼處會?』」師曰:「長慶秖要將人淹殺虀J36nB369_p0920b17甕裏,不顧自己墮在尿坑。雲門者裏雖無長處,似不J36nB369_p0920b18如此。孟秋小盡,蚤禾已登。大小執事,內外禪流,身心J36nB369_p0920b19泰然,得無罣礙。麤茶淡飯,率意忘懷,曲肱高枕,伸腳J36nB369_p0920b20打眠。莫管孰是孰非,不起佛見法見。山河不離大地,J36nB369_p0920b21自己不是別人。雖然若是,頭腦清楚,慚愧道人無一J36nB369_p0920b22事,只此隨緣過便休。其或皂白未分,邊方尚有令,未J36nB369_p0920b23是太平年。他時行旅愁歎,莫嫌山僧不曾與你道破。」J36nB369_p0920b24喝一喝。
J36nB369_p0920b25上堂。「說玄說妙,分大分小。大似朝三暮四,暮四朝三。J36nB369_p0920b26致使眾狙喜怒紛紜,無有了期。雲門有箇一味平等J36nB369_p0920b27法門,上中下根皆可證入。今日說與諸人。」良久,顧視J36nB369_p0920b28大眾曰:「飯後普請上山挑柴。」
J36nB369_p0920b29先師盂和尚訃至,上堂。「昔年出去遊化稱尊,今日歸J36nB369_p0920b30來砥澆為念,一向人皆謂我老人出現于世也。為大J36nB369_p0920c01事因緣故,所以船橫古渡,運載群迷,澤布陽春,恩覃J36nB369_p0920c02萬彙。道諧而唱,艸木俱吼獅子音;時蹇而休,煙雲盡J36nB369_p0920c03合主賓調。鴻慈溥被,刀尺均施,器就方圓,根隨利鈍,J36nB369_p0920c04玉線暗穿,金針密度,得無礙輪三昧而遊行自在,非J36nB369_p0920c05小心淺見可能思議。忽焉示滅也,慧日潛輝,真風絕J36nB369_p0920c06響,佛祖心中懷隱隱之憂,人天眼裏墮潸潸之淚。耶J36nB369_p0920c07溪實云流慟,剎海亦歎悽涼,是則固是也,只說得萬J36nB369_p0920c08牛身中一毛頭許。諸仁若要悉知悉見,當隨我燒香J36nB369_p0920c09作禮,再聽耳提面命。」
J36nB369_p0920c10上堂。「雲起龍吟,風從虎嘯。」拈拄杖畫一畫曰:「前釋迦,J36nB369_p0920c11後彌勒,從上祖師、天下知識,盡向者裏歸降納款了J36nB369_p0920c12也。衲僧家別有趣向,試出來道看。」乃顧左右曰:「但知J36nB369_p0920c13李廣封侯事,誰識張良辟穀心。」
J36nB369_p0920c14結制,小參。「三春不換一冬,寸金不易丈鐵,潛心矢志J36nB369_p0920c15如斯,大事何愁不徹?所以,雲門殷勤禱告于現前大J36nB369_p0920c16眾:願為出類超群之丈夫,須是旋乾轉坤之手段。更J36nB369_p0920c17聽約法三章:第一、不得聚緣內搖,趣外奔逸;第二、不J36nB369_p0920c18得將心待悟,怠玩因循;第三、共住不許知名,相逢不J36nB369_p0920c19容相識。然後,將僧問趙州:『萬法歸一,一歸何處?』州曰:J36nB369_p0920c20『我在青州做領布衫,重七斤。』細審參詳,毫無差錯,山J36nB369_p0920c21僧與汝證據。且道:證據箇什麼?」以拂子畫一畫,「括囊J36nB369_p0920c22無咎。」
J36nB369_p0920c23結制,上堂,就謝車智望齋。「人人有此一片田地,雖是J36nB369_p0920c24寒暑推遷,歷來無敢侵損,何待重分疆界?」豎拂子,曰:J36nB369_p0920c25「明見斯事無有錯謬,無一處不是汝諸人放捨身命J36nB369_p0920c26處、無一時不是汝諸人出離生死時,雲門關裏橫身J36nB369_p0920c27而入、任意而為,殺活縱奪一切自由,世胤、道胤爭繁,J36nB369_p0920c28食輪、法輪並轉,異日兒孫遍天下,其起根發脈莫不J36nB369_p0920c29從者裏去,蓋為未是其人,望之如天闊遠、窮之似海J36nB369_p0920c30洪深,欲進懼臨大敵、欲退恐蹈輕冰,不進、不退正是J36nB369_p0921a01滯寂沉空,終非究竟,山僧與汝諸人說箇捷徑法門。」J36nB369_p0921a02屈指,曰:「今朝十月十五,五五二十五、九九八十一,數J36nB369_p0921a03到正月半,恰好是長安路上春光媚,司馬橋邊看舊J36nB369_p0921a04題。」擊拂子。
J36nB369_p0921a05上堂。「雲門有一句,標的無向背。若作主賓論,有無俱J36nB369_p0921a06不是。如何即是?和羅飯,骨董羹,隨家豐儉,何憂何慮?J36nB369_p0921a07鋪箇破席日裏睡。」喝一喝。
J36nB369_p0921a08上堂。「郢上陽春,遇詩人方堪合調;匣中寶劍,逢烈士J36nB369_p0921a09乃可贈貽。秖如廣額屠兒,才放下刀便成正覺;黃梅J36nB369_p0921a10行者,未曾脫曰即擅傳燈。莫非尊卑倒置耶?還是授J36nB369_p0921a11受濫觴耶?為復別有道理耶?」良久,擊拂子:「知恩須是J36nB369_p0921a12報恩人。」
J36nB369_p0921a13蕭山謝門智利等請上堂。「如來大智慧,希有無等倫,J36nB369_p0921a14一切諸世間,思惟莫能及。勝慧大士如此語話,在釋J36nB369_p0921a15迦老子分上為盡美矣,衲僧根前則未盡善也。殊不J36nB369_p0921a16知,如來智慧無一塵不包、無一剎不遍、無一人不具、J36nB369_p0921a17無一物不彰,說甚希有難倫、思惟莫及?即今蕭山檀J36nB369_p0921a18越一舟直泛修途,萬境盡歸眼底,明明更不生疑,念J36nB369_p0921a19念無非真實,豈非有大智慧人能行大智慧事?」拈拂J36nB369_p0921a20子曰:「而今拂子但喚作拂子、僧但喚作僧、俗但喚作J36nB369_p0921a21俗,且道如來智慧在甚麼處?」乃擲拂子。
J36nB369_p0921a22上堂。「少室門風廣大,曹溪路徑寬舒。果是箇真英雄,J36nB369_p0921a23便好一腳跨入。」拈拄杖曰:「識得雲門拄杖子,變化如J36nB369_p0921a24龍,威獰似虎。揭貧女藏中之寶,取力士鏡裏之珠。迷J36nB369_p0921a25悟生死,聖凡異同,一切平等。其或庸愚根器,留繫強J36nB369_p0921a26生。」卓拄杖:「濟涉賴伊人,及時應努力。」
J36nB369_p0921a27上堂。「黃花籬畔開金盞,紅樹嵒前列錦屏。野老暢忘J36nB369_p0921a28憂之飲,逸興飛揚;牧童高無味之談,偏圓宛轉。一切J36nB369_p0921a29人都作景致商量,未審衲僧如何領會?」良久,顧左右:J36nB369_p0921a30「夾山面目猶在。」
J36nB369_p0921b01上堂。「諸佛心印,文彩非關;歷祖憲章,條目何與?柏樹J36nB369_p0921b02子豁開趙州眼睛,乾矢橛露出雲門心膽,不必辨他J36nB369_p0921b03孰是孰非,惟要當人自信自肯,從胸襟流出一言半J36nB369_p0921b04句,自然驚天動地,千差萬別,似空合空。到此箇境界J36nB369_p0921b05了,子細檢點將來,正是無邊無岸險僻之途。大眾!要J36nB369_p0921b06知究竟安隱底事麼?昔年去,今復來,敲我衡門兩扇J36nB369_p0921b07開,主賓好話無人省,夜爐撥盡寒灰,其中事莫疑猜。」J36nB369_p0921b08拈拂子擲下,曰:「禮云禮云,玉帛云乎哉?」
J36nB369_p0921b09上堂。舉:「金峰志和尚因僧侍立次,乃謂曰:『舉一則因J36nB369_p0921b10緣,汝等一不得亂會。』僧曰:『請和尚舉。』峰豎起拂子,僧J36nB369_p0921b11良久,峰曰:『知道闍黎亂會。』僧以目視東西,峰曰:『雪上J36nB369_p0921b12更加霜。』」師曰:「金峰以先王之道輕施于民,者僧不量J36nB369_p0921b13能度德、竊位苟榮,豈止雪上加霜,而事將有不勝其J36nB369_p0921b14弊者。雲門舉一則因緣,汝等要會便會。或曰:『請和尚J36nB369_p0921b15舉。』但向他道:『且緩緩著。』何故?」乃擲拂子。「服食求神仙,J36nB369_p0921b16都為藥所誤。」
J36nB369_p0921b17上堂。「人行印窄徑霜蹤,見者不生餘惑;犬吠排深村J36nB369_p0921b18夜色,聽而永絕狐疑。及至問著父母未生前本來面J36nB369_p0921b19目,十人有九箇不識端倪。蓋矢志不蹈於妙門,傾心J36nB369_p0921b20自甘于穢術,所以應緣而錯,觸事尤乖。大眾!而今要J36nB369_p0921b21識本來面目麼?問取東村王廿八。」
J36nB369_p0921b22上堂。「山僧因先師愚菴老人示寂一月,途路奔忙,心J36nB369_p0921b23以痛、身以倦,佛法無得商量,世諦豈容計較?蓋有箇J36nB369_p0921b24現成句子,晝明夜暗,斯無晦冥;暑往寒來,此不變易,J36nB369_p0921b25秖在諸人腳跟下。有信得及者麼?許由洗耳成多事,J36nB369_p0921b26巢父飲牛賺殺人。」
J36nB369_p0921b27上堂。「若論此事,何待勞苦多生、辛勤累劫而能成辦?J36nB369_p0921b28雲門今日要諸仁一時悟去,汝等還肯麼?」良久曰:「屈!J36nB369_p0921b29屈!」遂打趁,下座。
J36nB369_p0921b30王啟甫求嗣,請上堂。豎拂子曰:「如是之法,覺王祖胤J36nB369_p0921c01親傳,先聖後賢同稟。若要自心明妙受用,須是當人J36nB369_p0921c02信得悟得便好。十方剎海,任意經遊。一切法門,無不J36nB369_p0921c03深入。重重智境,悉共莊嚴。種種願輪,隨心運轉。」復豎J36nB369_p0921c04拂子曰:「觀世音菩薩在拂子頭上現大人相,發海潮J36nB369_p0921c05音,普告大眾曰:『設欲求男,便生福德智慧之男。設欲J36nB369_p0921c06求女,便生端正有相之女。』然遇見明眼衲僧,未免笑J36nB369_p0921c07他捏怪。何故?但看家園春日暖,新篁隨地長兒孫。」
J36nB369_p0921c08上堂。「酒樓下既可明心,肉案頭亦能悟道。諸仁在僧J36nB369_p0921c09堂裏三七日了,自己底主人公認他不得,過在甚麼J36nB369_p0921c10處?」顧左右曰:「箇箇是盲人。」
J36nB369_p0921c11上堂。舉:「香林遠和尚普請鋤地次,一僧曰:『看俗家失J36nB369_p0921c12火。』遠曰:『那裏?』僧曰:『不見那?』遠曰:『不見。』僧曰:『瞎漢。』是時J36nB369_p0921c13一眾皆謂遠上座敗缺。後明教寬曰:『須是我遠兄始J36nB369_p0921c14得。』」師曰:「大哉!香林之心,包括天地,陶冶古今,惟務其J36nB369_p0921c15實,不顧其跡。者僧道箇瞎漢,可謂依日月之光以行J36nB369_p0921c16其志,自遵其度,未免但逐其跡,不究其實。然則明教J36nB369_p0921c17曰:『須是我遠兄始得。』其意如何?慷慨千秋見孟嘗。」
J36nB369_p0921c18上堂。拈起拄杖曰:「真俗萬緣,無不於中顯現。今日有J36nB369_p0921c19人從明州來,卻道憨布袋在長汀市上橫行直撞,貿J36nB369_p0921c20易所需,不買山珍,非求海錯。畢竟圖箇甚麼?沒柄笊J36nB369_p0921c21籬,無底木杓。」
J36nB369_p0921c22章叔懋請上堂。豎拂子曰:「千機萬機,莫若識此一機。」J36nB369_p0921c23擊拂子曰:「千句萬句,莫若識此一句。或者道:『和尚放J36nB369_p0921c24下拂子,別通箇消息來。』我也知你逐境馳求、循聲流J36nB369_p0921c25轉。殊不知雲門者裏偏圓宛轉、變化無窮,有時出現,J36nB369_p0921c26于時桂艷秋深,播庭前之馥馥;蘭芳春暖,朗砌下之J36nB369_p0921c27英英。麟趾是以歌繁,宗猷斯焉彌永。有時退藏于密,J36nB369_p0921c28縱使汝諸根穎脫、不與萬法為侶者,亦不能窺見一J36nB369_p0921c29斑。若是全身出現時,絲毫不露;退藏于密處,文彩全J36nB369_p0921c30彰,固已罔測端倪。秖如今日檀越辦供入山,且道何J36nB369_p0922a01所饒益?藍田產玉非凡種,堪作圭璋捧至尊。」
J36nB369_p0922a02上堂。「佛法甚多,只因連日事煩,身子勞倦,無暇說得。J36nB369_p0922a03今則乘片刻之閒,身子略已泰然,無甚佛法可說。忽J36nB369_p0922a04有箇靈利衲子出來道:『雲門長老說話太煞不顧傍J36nB369_p0922a05觀。若論佛法遍在一切處,豈在閒忙說時有、不說時J36nB369_p0922a06無耶?』山僧既受禪士一段深心,借五峰各位檀越物J36nB369_p0922a07事精治盛齋,請喫飽後,更獻日鑄蘭雪香茗一杯。為J36nB369_p0922a08何如斯?但得人人自信得、自肯承當,省卻山僧多少J36nB369_p0922a09氣力。不然,隙駒疾、霜風急,顏貌看看非舊日,大事茫J36nB369_p0922a10茫無了畢,堪笑嵩山缺齒翁,九年面壁。」豎拂子,曰:「究J36nB369_p0922a11竟者箇不識。」
J36nB369_p0922a12上虞何檀越請上堂。「極簡極易之道,無相無作之門,J36nB369_p0922a13惟要步驟不差,當人金剛眼正,師子隨時哮吼,不顧J36nB369_p0922a14驚群駭眾,動容則盡揚古路,斂念而不墮悄然,化日J36nB369_p0922a15是以舒長,慧命從茲綿亙,何待雲山漠漠、煙水茫茫,J36nB369_p0922a16積年累月、冒暑經寒?若迷方者一喚回頭,始道箇從J36nB369_p0922a17此不被天下老和尚舌頭謾了。子細看來,猶如夢中J36nB369_p0922a18人遍歷無邊剎境,醒來原在床上。」驀顧左右曰:「我所J36nB369_p0922a19得智慧,微妙最第一。」
J36nB369_p0922a20至日,上堂。「尋常總道,正法眼藏轉求轉生遙遠,轉說J36nB369_p0922a21轉不相應。認著箇聖諦,不為一物不中底以當生平,J36nB369_p0922a22不肯移易絲毫,要為諸佛之師、群賢之首,也大難在。」J36nB369_p0922a23以拂子畫一畫,曰:「能向者裏識得根元,信知一陽纔J36nB369_p0922a24動葭灰,萬卉俱開生面,瑞靄天扉,祥符祖苑,塵塵顯J36nB369_p0922a25妙、剎剎圓融,箇箇凜維新榜樣、人人弘起弊規模。既J36nB369_p0922a26逢此箇時節,雲門拂子豈可不傾誠祝讚?」復以拂子J36nB369_p0922a27擊一下,曰:「雲書魯史千秋事,歌永堯風萬國心。」問:「如J36nB369_p0922a28何是正中偏?」師曰:「龍樓高揭翠華簾。」「如何是偏中正?」J36nB369_p0922a29師曰:「樵子宅中傳號令。」「如何是正中來?」師曰:「玉人踏J36nB369_p0922a30月下瑤臺。」「如何是兼中至?」師曰:「鐘鳴長樂千門曙。」「如J36nB369_p0922b01何是兼中到?」師曰:「橫趨直步看圓妙。」
J36nB369_p0922b02楊悾菴居士請上堂。拈拄杖曰:「此箇見得徹底無疑,J36nB369_p0922b03等閒露一機、垂一句,自然權實雙彰、殺活全備,終不J36nB369_p0922b04肯坐在死水裏,與蚌蛤魚蝦同一趣向。是故知有底J36nB369_p0922b05人隨緣宛轉、妙用無方,有時佛心儒雅皆依真實而J36nB369_p0922b06現相,有時摧魔殄異悉從示應以立名,知一切人根J36nB369_p0922b07性、解一切人黏縛,俾一人安隱則人人安隱,使一處J36nB369_p0922b08清淨則處處清淨。大眾!秖如維摩榻上塵埃、東廝壁J36nB369_p0922b09邊雜穢,且道又從何處得來?」良久曰:「今日重添上一J36nB369_p0922b10堆。」
J36nB369_p0922b11開爐,上堂。「地爐深掘,榾柮高堆,閒時向火,好事相商。J36nB369_p0922b12可中冷煖,唯自能知;世上紛譁,由他莫管。秖如火爐J36nB369_p0922b13頭有箇無賓主話,從老趙州撩亂激揚,以至諸方互J36nB369_p0922b14相拋擲,豈謂逗到今日依舊清白不分?雲門緘口,要J36nB369_p0922b15且不甘。」乃高聲喚侍者,曰:「將簾子垂下,不可漏洩了J36nB369_p0922b16煖氣。」拍禪床,下座。
J36nB369_p0922b17真如文法師掃塔,請上堂。「先師翁道不盡底句子,處J36nB369_p0922b18空滿空,在壑盈壑,無底船盛載不漏,斷貫索繫縛有J36nB369_p0922b19餘,舒之光踰日月,卷之包括乾坤,自長水而溯耶溪,J36nB369_p0922b20騰遍地波瀾;任先哲以及後賢,行石頭正路。三艸二J36nB369_p0922b21木皆在裏許含英育秀,諸佛列祖盡向此中出世利J36nB369_p0922b22生,有智無智並觸慈光,先心後心咸歸陶冶,況復現J36nB369_p0922b23大人相,垂格外機,弘贊宗猷,光揚祖道者哉?範上座J36nB369_p0922b24到者裏,鑽仰無門,計較無路。敢問大眾:先師翁道不J36nB369_p0922b25盡底句子,畢竟阿誰擔荷?有指陳得出,不妨隨緣自J36nB369_p0922b26在,到處稱尊;若明辨不來,問取真如文老人。」
J36nB369_p0922b27請能仁啟和尚繼席,發專使,上堂。「雍容闡悟本真宗,J36nB369_p0922b28雪曲響雲門古調,峨峨為濁世幢王,切切作迷生導J36nB369_p0922b29主。須得其人,威音那邊移步;必有其位,夜明簾外轉J36nB369_p0922b30機。如是,則身雲與法雲共彩,本自無心;化日與慧日J36nB369_p0922c01同輝,何嘗有意?竦聽鸞音徹天,積玉橋躍然起舞;將J36nB369_p0922c02見妙吼震地,香爐峰卻也快心。但是移山門入佛殿J36nB369_p0922c03裏,將燈籠來山門上,佛祖莫測其端,人天孰窺其際?」J36nB369_p0922c04驀召專使,曰:「去問能仁和尚,自然定當。何故?欲明家J36nB369_p0922c05裏事,須是箇中人。」
J36nB369_p0922c06王檀越誕辰,請上堂。舉:「教中道:『菩薩以一音,一切皆J36nB369_p0922c07能演,決定分別說,一切諸佛法。』老瞿曇固是富而且J36nB369_p0922c08驕,爭奈事無實據?」拈起拄杖,曰:「不若雲門拄杖子打J36nB369_p0922c09開福德藏門,運出無價至寶,碗大碗小盛來,隨豐隨J36nB369_p0922c10儉受用,一飽既已忘饑,諸念自然銷落,指南山作壽,J36nB369_p0922c11掬東海為卮。有者道:『山僧將常住物私做人情。』連忙J36nB369_p0922c12想得箇父母未生前面目,老也如是、少也如是、往古J36nB369_p0922c13也如是、來今也如是,只有一處不如是,釋迦老子敷J36nB369_p0922c14演不出。且道甚麼人可能定當得來?」卓拄杖,「鐵笛吹J36nB369_p0922c15瑤島,金燈照綺筵。」
J36nB369_p0922c16上堂。舉:「黃檗一日捏拳,曰:『天下老和尚總在者裏,我J36nB369_p0922c17若放一線道,從伊七縱八橫;若不放過,不消一捏。』僧J36nB369_p0922c18便問:『放一線道時如何?』檗曰:『七縱八橫。』曰:『不放過、不J36nB369_p0922c19消一捏時如何?』檗曰:『普。』」師曰:「黃檗既能人境俱奪,亦J36nB369_p0922c20解敲唱雙行,其奈捏聚放開,未免太傷心力。者僧雖J36nB369_p0922c21然變通有道,卻也朕兆難明,皆為不了。山僧不用捏J36nB369_p0922c22拳舒掌,可以移風易俗。」豎拂子,曰:「從上大老、天下英J36nB369_p0922c23靈,盡向者裏正去偏來、明投暗合,如寶絲網重重涉J36nB369_p0922c24入。如有人出來道:『雲門與麼太煞簡略。』固許汝是箇J36nB369_p0922c25出格英俊,也須再參三十年。」
J36nB369_p0922c26請上堂。白椎竟,師隨聲一喝曰:「若是第一義,但向己J36nB369_p0922c27求,莫從他覓。豈待山僧鼓兩片皮,掉三寸舌,豎捏烏J36nB369_p0922c28藤,橫搖白塵,然後為得。所以鑑湖遠棹,水月交光。徐J36nB369_p0922c29入雲門,煙霞鬥彩。過積玉橋,聽潺湲之響,知洞水流J36nB369_p0922c30長;到芙蓉岸,望疊嶂之高,識門風浩大。從淺至深,次J36nB369_p0923a01第循歷。由大佛殿登寶鏡堂,致禮雍雍,發言穆穆。始J36nB369_p0923a02解道,覺悟生死如夢,一切求心自息。時時奉重無違,J36nB369_p0923a03事事報恩有據。本末須要歸宗,尊卑當用其語。」顧眾J36nB369_p0923a04曰:「且道是甚麼語?門頭嚴飾兒孫力,室內悠悠總不J36nB369_p0923a05知。」復喝一喝。
J36nB369_p0923a06開山澄祖四十忌,上堂。「臘月四日,乃先師翁示方便J36nB369_p0923a07門,說最實事時節。蓋有威德自在,如彼山王,安忍不J36nB369_p0923a08動,利益含生。舌相等剎塵遍覆,身光與日月恒明。赤J36nB369_p0923a09白青黃混之不得,方圓長短類之莫齊。不惟利根鈍J36nB369_p0923a10根、正見邪見,求箇入頭愈加深遠,尋箇出路轉見壅J36nB369_p0923a11淤。即使四十年來兒孫遍地,各各現三頭六臂,箇箇J36nB369_p0923a12張馬嘴驢唇,以種種因緣譬喻言辭紛紜指註,究竟J36nB369_p0923a13摸他頭腦不著。」豎拂子,曰:「此是師翁殺人活人底杷J36nB369_p0923a14柄,今朝恰好落在孫子手裏。豎抹橫該,皆吾常分。」遂J36nB369_p0923a15顧眾,曰:「還有搆得者麼?黃閣晝簾垂紫氣,不彰寶印J36nB369_p0923a16自然尊。」

相J36nB369_p0923a26曰:「者裏知得落處,喚釋迦達磨,挈缽提瓶,未嘗不可。J36nB369_p0923a27或甄別不來,且遊遍雲山,千重萬重,捱過春光,一度J36nB369_p0923a28兩度,再來與你說破。」臘八,解制,上堂。「見明謂晝,遇暗為夜,山本嵯峨,水自J36nB369_p0923a30流動,東西南北不移一絲,上下高低莫錯一點,一向J36nB369_p0923b01立定腳跟,最怕輥入異類,子細檢點來,正是偏枯見J36nB369_p0923b02解、不達權變之笨漢。忽若月明晝午、日彩夜央,山頭J36nB369_p0923b03滾浪、海底飛塵,十箇有五雙不知頭緒,唯有雪嶺老J36nB369_p0923b04瞿曇多年臥冰囓蘗,忘形於凍餒,到此便得轉身活J36nB369_p0923b05路以快平生。果是本分衲僧、氣概逸群,若休歇其心,J36nB369_p0923b06放下便穩;能勇猛其志,撩起便行。折腰匾擔,尊貴一J36nB369_p0923b07時;斷鼻艸鞋,威雄百倍。垂手橫身,自由自在,誰能拘J36nB369_p0923b08束得你?但前途去與故人相見,細說生平,切莫道在J36nB369_p0923b09雲門者裏。何故?惟恐傳事不真,將作世諦流布。」
J36nB369_p0923b10上堂。舉:「金峰因僧問:『金杯滿酌時如何?』峰曰:『金峰不J36nB369_p0923b11勝酩酊。』」師曰:「展演宗猷,提持祖印,和光順物,與世同J36nB369_p0923b12塵,渾融彼此,包括始終。金峰有寬洪之量,洵不可及。J36nB369_p0923b13正眼觀來,未免一場敗闕。如有僧問雲門:『金杯滿酌J36nB369_p0923b14時如何?』但向道:『酒中不語真君子。』」
J36nB369_p0923b15先和尚木主入祖堂,上堂。「不重先師道德,秪貴先師J36nB369_p0923b16不為我說破。古人恁麼道,雖謂情封不立,其如分別J36nB369_p0923b17猶存。既曰道德無可為重,更有何事不曾說破?我先J36nB369_p0923b18師非身現身,身滿域中;無說示說,說遍天下。奮自在J36nB369_p0923b19慈力,猶淳旭麗天,若愚、若智盡睹其光;暢無畏玄音,J36nB369_p0923b20如迅雷駭地,是聖、是凡悉聆其響。紹洞山尊貴之宗,J36nB369_p0923b21斬斷群邪蔓刺;荷玉笥大成之業,弘開一味玅門。橫J36nB369_p0923b22身空劫已前,跨腳今時路上,不許月白夜行,唯要雞J36nB369_p0923b23鳴曉到。奉重固不必,違背則不可,故我親近他、承嗣J36nB369_p0923b24他,三十年間一切時中厲色時多、和顏日少,其道大J36nB369_p0923b25德備,實情不知,說破、不說破也不揀擇,甘為情忘義,J36nB369_p0923b26斷不孝闡提,爭奈拄杖子當仁不讓?」驀拈拄杖,曰:「一J36nB369_p0923b27不做,二不休,莫道縱橫無忌諱,只要推爺向裏頭。」卓J36nB369_p0923b28拄杖,下座。
J36nB369_p0923b29謝兩序勤舊,上堂。「提振綱宗,傳持慧命,印印當風,機J36nB369_p0923b30機圓應,顯萬法總一根源,融十方歸一剎境。蓋知正J36nB369_p0923c01色持衡,深賴祖庭元老;輸誠贊弼,實資法苑祥麟。和J36nB369_p0923c02同水乳以標奇,節比松筠而播美,千聖有口無說處J36nB369_p0923c03底同一音演,萬人有力無作處底同一心行,如斯主J36nB369_p0923c04伴交羅,乃見始終貫徹。所以,山僧自來五位旗鎗高J36nB369_p0923c05縣壁上,三玄甲冑棄置路傍,到今日秖好唱箇自來J36nB369_p0923c06腔、清平樂,謂我福輕有愧,累君忍垢無涯。大事既已J36nB369_p0923c07了畢,一齊歸堂喫茶。」
J36nB369_p0923c08覺初慶悟禪本師壽,請上堂。「雲門倒腹傾腸,說箇最J36nB369_p0923c09初方便。休將禪道商量,莫作迷悟判斷。為從僧祇劫J36nB369_p0923c10來,隨汝所求無厭。好看大夢覺時,始快平生志願。」拈J36nB369_p0923c11拄杖曰:「百千三昧,無量義門,皆從者裏流出。無量壽J36nB369_p0923c12如來,竭盡神機,思也不可思、算也不可算。嶺梅臘後J36nB369_p0923c13最先開,吹動春風香滿院。」卓拄杖一下。
J36nB369_p0923c14除夜,小參。「靜地籌思,鬧叢觀望,鍋邊分飯,碗上添羹。J36nB369_p0923c15冬殘歲暮,無非豐儉隨家;事絕理融,總要函蓋相應。J36nB369_p0923c16蓋循途守轍底,自謂生鐵鑄成脊梁,純鋼鍊就骨力,J36nB369_p0923c17彼此不敢是非,今昔莫能移易,事事仍舊規,法法住J36nB369_p0923c18本位,各各不相知,彼彼不相到。殊不知到得者般境J36nB369_p0923c19界,正恐諸事煎逼,不得安閒。惟有奔逸絕塵底漢,臘J36nB369_p0923c20月三十日到來,一切人說不來者,好肆縣河之辨;一J36nB369_p0923c21切人行不去者,獨跨通霄之步。不妨挐三道五,一味J36nB369_p0923c22豎抹橫該。欲知達磨於普通年間十萬里來,心上為J36nB369_p0923c23著何事?是人眼裏有珠,那箇口中無舌?喝!」
J36nB369_p0923c24復舉:「香林因僧問:『如何是衲衣下事?』林曰:『臘月火燒J36nB369_p0923c25山。』」師曰:「香林惟將尋常活計任意施為,大似推車撞J36nB369_p0923c26壁,將無作有,以致天下尊宿互相激揚,紛紜酬醋,簡J36nB369_p0923c27點將來,譬如飲大海中水,隨量而止,衲衣下事何曾J36nB369_p0923c28夢見?今夜如有僧問雲門:『如何是衲衣下事?』但向他J36nB369_p0923c29道:『火爐邊坐成佳話,玉燭歌清聽野樵。』」
J36nB369_p0923c30元旦,上堂。「威音那畔嘉猷,古佛堂前景致。冠古冠今J36nB369_p0924a01無異,徹頭徹尾常新。」乃擊拂子一下,曰:「山僧今日盡J36nB369_p0924a02情托出了也。有力大人能擔荷得去,將舊時窠臼一J36nB369_p0924a03腳趯翻,別轉機輪,全體作用。熙然布劫外祥光,廓爾J36nB369_p0924a04轉域中泰運。國治邦寧,民安物阜。祖園春燠,法海冰J36nB369_p0924a05融。萬彙俱遂欣榮,四生均陶化日。世界一時平等,聖J36nB369_p0924a06凡曾不異同。衲僧家己事未得發明,他緣不能湊合,J36nB369_p0924a07不必深憂重慮。何謂?皇風一片渾無畛,春色千奇在J36nB369_p0924a08繡楹。」
J36nB369_p0924a09肅眾,上堂。「細吹無孔笛,亂打寬皮鼓,釅茶八九盃,戲J36nB369_p0924a10笑三五日。觀音大士從傍破顏拊掌,大聲喝彩道:『佛J36nB369_p0924a11之心兮不覆藏,祖之髓兮都擠出,境界風所高,般若J36nB369_p0924a12力愈大。』文殊、普賢正言厲色曰:『汝等以思惟心測度J36nB369_p0924a13如來大圓覺海,如人以手撮摩虛空,秖益自勞,無濟J36nB369_p0924a14于事。』三箇老古錐互相爭論不已,拄杖子聽見,乃以J36nB369_p0924a15直判斷曰:『觀音大士固然和以優賢,不應以冬瓜印J36nB369_p0924a16子妄搭。文殊、普賢雖是肅以蒞眾,未免法令過嚴,各J36nB369_p0924a17與三十棒趁出。』且道利害在甚麼處?不見道:執之失J36nB369_p0924a18度,必入邪路。」
J36nB369_p0924a19退院,小參。「鈍牯輪耕祖父田,茫茫業識已三年,苔路J36nB369_p0924a20滑蹄恒自忖,芒繩纏鼻任人牽。盤旋泥水真堪笑,憔J36nB369_p0924a21悴風霜孰可憐?上下人情慵浹洽,紛紜毀譽理當然。J36nB369_p0924a22利生接物同春夢,捄弊扶危歎力綿,正法凋殘心耿J36nB369_p0924a23耿,祖園仍復艸芊芊。定策籌時勤舊智,搪風抵露股J36nB369_p0924a24肱賢,梵宮雍肅帡幪德,龍象飽參檀信緣。惟我羞慚J36nB369_p0924a25深細想,曾無一得好流傳,慶快犁耙離項背,輕身至J36nB369_p0924a26樂勝三禪。此去優游無變異,垂楊芳草看雲眠,更問J36nB369_p0924a27渠儂端的處,月在青天水在川。」
J36nB369_p0924a28復舉:「金峰和尚上堂曰:『事存函蓋合,理應箭鋒拄。還J36nB369_p0924a29有人道得麼?若有,出來道得相應,金峰分半院與他J36nB369_p0924a30住。』時有僧纔出,峰曰:『相見易得好,共住難為人。』便下J36nB369_p0924b01座。」師曰:「稽功必以事為的,論賞必以言為符。者僧不J36nB369_p0924b02諒才度能,將強據而驟奪之;金峰不攷功審勣,既許J36nB369_p0924b03與而復吝惜。從古到今,不能清楚。山僧不似金峰有J36nB369_p0924b04口無心,有一句子,千聖莫分彼此,萬人難辨去留。有J36nB369_p0924b05人道得恰好,雲門院子盡情分付。設有人出,但曰:『且J36nB369_p0924b06緩緩著。今日天晚,總到明朝交代。』」
J36nB369_p0924b07退院,上堂。僧問:「久親猊座,未敢輕扣玄音;末後當陽,J36nB369_p0924b08要聞法王獅奏。」師曰:「仙子持金碗,佳人罷錦梭。」曰:「果J36nB369_p0924b09然塗山鑑水非同調,別有驚天動地聲。」師曰:「上座固J36nB369_p0924b10樂矣,山僧也快哉!」曰:「只如雙鳳凌巢、一龍出海又作J36nB369_p0924b11麼生?」師曰:「日後再來,有人與你道。」乃曰:「三載濫竽,慚J36nB369_p0924b12色既多面上;寸功匪立,恢崇徒切心中。一言有乖于J36nB369_p0924b13度,大違上祖典謨;一行不蹈于常,知辱先師化軌。所J36nB369_p0924b14以高低普應,莫非合水和泥;毀譽不移,正是將南作J36nB369_p0924b15北。田頭也到,地上也到,閒時也說,忙處也說,可謂徹J36nB369_p0924b16骨徹髓、盡心盡力了也。若據明眼證驗將來,卻道怠J36nB369_p0924b17玩過時,陶鑄洪規弛廢,不以佛法為事,有失龍象所J36nB369_p0924b18望,不覺抓著山僧痛處,只得向法堂前高聲唱道:『大J36nB369_p0924b19眾,大眾!如是,如是!要識他家全意氣,飛鴻踏雪思優J36nB369_p0924b20游。』」敘謝不錄。
J36nB369_p0924b21復舉:「長慶稜和尚拈拄杖示眾曰:『識得者箇,一生參J36nB369_p0924b22學事畢。』雲門偃曰:『識得者箇,為甚不肯住?』」師曰:「一箇J36nB369_p0924b23得少為足,一箇貪多無厭,二大老終非大人作略。山J36nB369_p0924b24僧則不然。」驀拈拄杖曰:「識得者箇,青山養拙不為晚,J36nB369_p0924b25綠水盟心未是遲。」
