J36nB369_p0915a04上堂。「大盡三十,小盡廿九,水綠山青,天高地厚,總是J36nB369_p0915a05眼前腳下事。曠劫至今,未曾移易絲毫,為甚問著一J36nB369_p0915a06箇箇分疏不下?」驀豎拂子曰:「秖者箇也是現成底,有J36nB369_p0915a07能出來承當,盡情交付。」良久,顧左右曰:「即今不見取,J36nB369_p0915a08過後莫思量。」
J36nB369_p0915a09上堂。「山中人自正,路險心亦平。恁麼去較些子,必要J36nB369_p0915a10看人觜面,倚他墻壁。」擊拂子曰:「杵聲不為客,客聞髮J36nB369_p0915a11自白。」
J36nB369_p0915a12請上堂。「道吾舞笏,異論紛然;石鞏張弓,禮樂廢矣。欲J36nB369_p0915a13揭中天之日而致斯道之全者,雲門到者裏,心莫可J36nB369_p0915a14矢,技為之窮。諸仁有大智底,出來揮魯陽之戈看。」良J36nB369_p0915a15久,曰:「山花艷艷,岸柳依依,翻思昨夢總成非,空山杜J36nB369_p0915a16宇聲聲啼。向人知道,春風雖好不如歸。」喝一喝。
J36nB369_p0915a17城中檀越請上堂。「塵緣擾擾,旅館悠悠,朱紫駢闐,妍J36nB369_p0915a18媸交錯,馬驕四坦之蹄,雞喚五更之夢,於諸境界無J36nB369_p0915a19所分別,隨入塵塵三昧,頭頭應用無虧,在世諦法中J36nB369_p0915a20足可觀光,到我祖師門下未是稱心得意底事。所以,J36nB369_p0915a21須是出東郭門、泛耶溪櫂、進顯聖門,登其堂、入其室,J36nB369_p0915a22主賓相見一回,始謂面上無塵、胸中無垢,纔可缽盂J36nB369_p0915a23裏也好看人大小、杓柄上也好驗人短長。山僧亦藏J36nB369_p0915a24拙無能,只得隨他葛藤一上。」卓拄杖一下,「具諸佛法,J36nB369_p0915a25所作皆辦。」
J36nB369_p0915a26冬至,小參。「定乾坤於掌上,未為大力量人;運日月於J36nB369_p0915a27懷中,豈是真英雄漢?寒則穿衣,饑來喫飯,無為床上J36nB369_p0915a28豎坐橫眠,正是膏肓重疾不堪救療。」拈拂子一畫,曰:J36nB369_p0915a29「向者裏推倒垣墻,別開路徑,陰霾消盡,陽氣復來,不J36nB369_p0915a30留劫外,匪住今時,同彼如來隨機致化,如大醫王應J36nB369_p0915b01病與藥,賢愚均益,艸木滋榮,弱喪知歸,久迷識路。雖J36nB369_p0915b02然,究到衲僧門下猶未是向上事。如何即是?」擊拂子,J36nB369_p0915b03曰:「一片皇風皆瑞靄,不勞魯史更書雲。」
J36nB369_p0915b04復舉:「僧問白馬儒禪師:『如何是法身向上事?』儒曰:『井J36nB369_p0915b05底蝦蟆吞卻月。』」師曰:「霧鎖重幃,煙封秘殿。尊貴難名,J36nB369_p0915b06綸音絕聽。恁麼看來,白馬猶未知向上事在。若要提J36nB369_p0915b07當風寶印,施閫外威權,燮和萬國,緝惠八方,有藉作J36nB369_p0915b08家出來擎展始得。」
J36nB369_p0915b09上堂。舉:「趙州曰:『把定乾坤眼,綿綿不漏絲毫。我要你J36nB369_p0915b10會,你又作麼生會?』天童覺曰:『還端的也未?直饒從者J36nB369_p0915b11裏會得,七穿八穴,我也知你出趙州棬繢不得。』」師曰:J36nB369_p0915b12「去偏捄弊,趙州可以謂之精;消融渾化,天童可以謂J36nB369_p0915b13之確。直饒從者裏端的得去,我也知你出趙州棬繢J36nB369_p0915b14則易,出天童棬繢則難;出天童棬繢則易,出雲門棬J36nB369_p0915b15繢則難。何故?金鞍白馬入長安,樂事告終憂事始。」
J36nB369_p0915b16上堂。舉:「法眼因二僧參次,眼以手指簾,時二僧同去J36nB369_p0915b17捲簾,眼曰:『一得一失。』」師曰:「此則公案,評量者極多,擔J36nB369_p0915b18荷者不少。要箇辨明倒斷者,甚為罕遇。若有鑑在機J36nB369_p0915b19先底,出來道一句,免向得失窠臼裏坐殺。」良久,噓一J36nB369_p0915b20聲,曰:「一夜桂花香滿院,各存密意對秋風。」
J36nB369_p0915b21上堂。「寒風颯颯鳴荒徑,皓月溶溶照古梅,好句盡情J36nB369_p0915b22狼藉了,諸仁何事轉疑猜?趙州道:『無我不知也。』雲門J36nB369_p0915b23道:『普人焉廋哉?』釋迦老子以智方便而演說之。瞌睡J36nB369_p0915b24漢!甜如蜜、甘如飴,明眼道流又作麼生?」擲拄杖,「不直J36nB369_p0915b25街頭破艸鞋。」
J36nB369_p0915b26上堂。「今朝十一月十五,逢逢打起禾山鼓,曾知活計J36nB369_p0915b27本天成,不勞開口般般妥。諸佛不能說者,塞壑填溝;J36nB369_p0915b28列祖不能傳底,揚塵簸土。」舉拂子,曰:「向者裏結搆得J36nB369_p0915b29去,高清白之門,顯純孝之旨,世間出世,同源共譜。理J36nB369_p0915b30會不來,雲門一句報君知,切忌依稀成莽鹵。大眾且J36nB369_p0915c01道:是什麼句?」擊拂子:「大蟲咬殺南山虎。」
J36nB369_p0915c02請上堂。舉:「趙州因秀才問:『佛不違眾生所願,是否?』州J36nB369_p0915c03曰:『是。』才曰:『某甲要和尚手中拄杖,還得麼?』州曰:『君子J36nB369_p0915c04不奪人之所好。』才曰:『某甲不是君子。』州曰:『老僧亦不J36nB369_p0915c05是佛。』」師曰:「博大鴻儒,一副錦心繡口,荒煙斷艸做成J36nB369_p0915c06蓋世文章,片石孤雲寫就驚人句子,其才綽綽然有J36nB369_p0915c07餘,擬向百戰場中取勝、萬人叢裏奪標,靡不卷甲拋J36nB369_p0915c08戈而退怯。若有大業不論功底識量,莫說趙州是彈J36nB369_p0915c09丸之地,銜盃嘯月可以得之,即使百億山河咸在掌J36nB369_p0915c10握,被他道箇君子不奪人之所好,便乃納款歸降,無J36nB369_p0915c11所不服。今日上虞檀信營供入山,檀信既無希求,雲J36nB369_p0915c12門亦不違願。」卓拄杖:「匝野清光同一賞,高低若箇不J36nB369_p0915c13相宜?」
J36nB369_p0915c14佛成道日,上堂。「皇宮裏有甚麼不好不肯住?雪山上J36nB369_p0915c15有甚麼相當偏愛來?坐亂艸窩,喫麻麥粥,六載於斯,J36nB369_p0915c16剛道快樂,半夜裏看見明星,始悔從前大錯。錯不錯?J36nB369_p0915c17三千年後免不得雲門遠孫拊掌大笑道:『千嵒雪白J36nB369_p0915c18萬家寒,不識今日是何日?』」乃拊掌大笑,下座。
J36nB369_p0915c19請上堂。「雨雪交飛,泥途濘滑。迅河水急,智櫂難操。廣J36nB369_p0915c20莫風高,慧燈易暗。跨腳不開底,依語生解道:古釋迦J36nB369_p0915c21不前,今彌勒不後。現成茶飯,不知滋味。本分家風,罔J36nB369_p0915c22測淺深。開口恐落於迷悟,動步怕墮於陷坑。顧前慮J36nB369_p0915c23後,欲行還止。要到安樂田地,實謂千里萬里。故知有J36nB369_p0915c24膽量無怖畏者,寒暖不辭,遠近莫辨。融真俗之異,銷J36nB369_p0915c25本跡之殊。心心念念,切切思思。只要移船到岸,赤腳J36nB369_p0915c26上山。相見舊識主人,大笑一聲。管取生平事業,自然J36nB369_p0915c27明了。且明了底人,向甚麼處行履?」良久曰:「重雲崖畔J36nB369_p0915c28青獅吼,積玉橋邊白鷺飛。」
J36nB369_p0915c29請上堂。「面前路徑最寬,達磨冷坐九年,未得轉步通J36nB369_p0915c30途。家中典籍甚廣,神光斬斷一臂,那曉安心要旨?從J36nB369_p0916a01古至今,金鋀混雜,江西濟北,訛謬相傳。可怪衲僧家,J36nB369_p0916a02身同踏雪之鴻,循歷窮鄉極縣;蹄健追風之馬,遍遊J36nB369_p0916a03紫陌芳郊。有一語,脩證無勞,階差不立,聖量莫能知,J36nB369_p0916a04凡情不可識。見人說道是,從之於是;見人說道非,從J36nB369_p0916a05之於非。總不見有,明明剔將出來。故我雲嵒老祖深J36nB369_p0916a06切垂諭曰:『隨其顛倒,以緇為素;顛倒想滅,肯心自許。』J36nB369_p0916a07山僧謂:『此說無竅,何更求妙?』喫施主飽齋,屙自己矢J36nB369_p0916a08尿,疑也疑不來,想也想不到。拄杖子忍俊不禁,高聲J36nB369_p0916a09大笑。笑箇甚麼?踏著麻繩兩頭𠿕。」
J36nB369_p0916a10上堂。舉:「藥山謂雲嵒曰:『與我喚沙彌來。』嵒曰:『和尚喚J36nB369_p0916a11他作甚麼?』山曰:『我有箇折腳鐺子,要伊提上挈下。』嵒J36nB369_p0916a12曰:『與麼則與和尚出一隻手去也。』」師曰:「聖君之治天J36nB369_p0916a13下也,使萬物各當其理,庶民各安其分,然後君能逸J36nB369_p0916a14豫無為而端拱其上,亦必有賢臣為輔其下。因知藥J36nB369_p0916a15山微雲嵒振刷,則折腳鐺子幾將塵封土埋矣。雲門J36nB369_p0916a16也有箇折腳鐺子,亦要人提上挈下,若有出來,出一J36nB369_p0916a17隻手看顧左右,見義不為,是無勇也。」
J36nB369_p0916a18請上堂。「萬瓦霜清,野水生冰。運籌決勝,晝夜靡寧。本J36nB369_p0916a19來面目,幾番白了幾番青。」拈拄杖曰:「獨有者箇,不畏J36nB369_p0916a20天寒日短,豈愁路遠山遙。穿過東村西埭,敲開秘閣J36nB369_p0916a21重門。導背流歸如來大海,引窮子入諸佛寶坊。貴要J36nB369_p0916a22攝受一切眾生,成就一切眾生,利益一切眾生,安樂J36nB369_p0916a23一切眾生。」乃卓一下曰:「且住且住。何故?鼻孔人人齊J36nB369_p0916a24向下,思量不必口喃喃。」
J36nB369_p0916a25上堂:「大顛打趁首座,興化擯黜維那。叫屈者縷縷,稱J36nB369_p0916a26賞者寥寥。設有出來道得恰好,雲門會下顯見有人。J36nB369_p0916a27有麼?」良久:「謫官無慍,我思古人。」
J36nB369_p0916a28臘月四日,開山澄和尚忌,上堂。「大天壤開鑿之恩,弘J36nB369_p0916a29濁世先來之誓。油然慈雲,覆彌六合;沛然法雨,潤等J36nB369_p0916a30三根。震曠劫之圓音,露今時之風彩。將寶位直授凡J36nB369_p0916b01庸,所望鐵骨冰心者,可能承基紹業。其奈時人戀著J36nB369_p0916b02嬉戲,不生忻樂,致成世諦流布。範上座頑鈍無知,雖J36nB369_p0916b03為腳下兒孫,不敢輕易狼藉。今朝是師翁遺履,證真J36nB369_p0916b04之日,還借伊一分威光,說箇本懷。」良久,曰:「今古誰能J36nB369_p0916b05識此心?」
J36nB369_p0916b06請上堂。「屠兒放下鑯刀,立證菩提,已煩唇吻;龍女獻J36nB369_p0916b07出寶珠,疾成正覺,轉見紛紜。須從念未起處、步不移J36nB369_p0916b08時,識得谿山雖異、雲月不殊,方可居塵不染、在夢常J36nB369_p0916b09醒,入真入俗、妙展靈機,即假即空、全提本分,統恒沙J36nB369_p0916b10世界歸一微塵,於一毫端現寶王剎。設若弓懸壁上、J36nB369_p0916b11影落杯中,致惑生疑、攢憂積悶,是自己迷頑、非他人J36nB369_p0916b12過咎。山僧今日以大悲心授記一切,而使獲無漏自J36nB369_p0916b13在。」良久,曰:「領。」
J36nB369_p0916b14臘八,岊菴知茶請上堂。豎拂子曰:「諸人見不見?此是J36nB369_p0916b15無量功德圓滿海智光明藏,出生一切法聚平等自J36nB369_p0916b16在三昧門。若有入得此門者,趙州關一趯趯碎,雲門J36nB369_p0916b17普一裂裂開,為人忘己,攝俗歸真,天長地久,奉不違J36nB369_p0916b18時,日往月來,炤不失候。尊貴天然,何必王登寶殿?聲J36nB369_p0916b19光浩大,任從野老謳歌。乃知黃面老子昔日在正覺J36nB369_p0916b20山頭睹見星辰,歎曰:『奇哉!奇哉!一切眾生皆有如來J36nB369_p0916b21智慧德相。』雖言位居其上者譽播美名、褒稱實事,則J36nB369_p0916b22天下之士皆悅,未免將孃生鼻孔扭捏。山僧今朝於J36nB369_p0916b23石傘峰前睹見日輪,且道說箇甚麼?」擊拂子曰:「隔塢J36nB369_p0916b24梅花飄暗香,南窗曝背喫茶去。」
J36nB369_p0916b25解制,小參。「若論生死大事,全超天地之先,高出虛空J36nB369_p0916b26之外,與森羅並印,等凡聖同源,自本無縛,誰論有解?J36nB369_p0916b27參學道流,如有殺手拌得性命者,將黑漆桶底一拳J36nB369_p0916b28打脫,七穿八穴,千牢百穩,心猿休息、意馬罷馳,住也J36nB369_p0916b29如是、去也如是,信口說、信步行,總無纖毫過患。其或J36nB369_p0916b30業識紛飛,見聞惑亂,任毀譽之風飄鼓,隨逆順之境J36nB369_p0916c01轉移,喜則愛水沃心,怒則嗔火滿面,精勤日少,懈怠J36nB369_p0916c02日多,寒時謂寒、熱時謂熱,靜處嫌靜、鬧處嫌鬧,積劫J36nB369_p0916c03漂淪、長年曠隔,虛擲光陰,究竟不了,開口便成滲漏,J36nB369_p0916c04動步頓見乖張,逼到牛角尖裏不得轉身處,便生退J36nB369_p0916c05屈。諸仁既沒奈何,山僧也沒奈何,只得將箇古話頭J36nB369_p0916c06唐塞一上。」復舉:「趙州因僧辭,州曰:『甚處去?』僧曰:『諸方J36nB369_p0916c07學佛法去。』州乃豎起拂子曰:『有佛處不得住,無佛處J36nB369_p0916c08急走過,三千里外逢人不得錯舉。』僧曰:『恁麼則不去J36nB369_p0916c09也。』州曰:『摘楊花,摘楊花。』」師乃頌曰:「雪色梅開古徑幽,J36nB369_p0916c10青春誤我憶歸休,翻思昔日同窗友,幾箇金貂在御J36nB369_p0916c11樓?」
J36nB369_p0916c12上堂。「玉不琢不成器。」喝!「雕琢而成,那堪大用?人不學J36nB369_p0916c13不知道。」喝!「學解而知,豈是大根?釋迦皇皇,宛同說客;J36nB369_p0916c14達磨汲汲,不異遊人。」拈拄杖:「總不如雲門拄杖子,龍J36nB369_p0916c15騰鳳翥,標格天生。」卓一下,「透石穿雲,無往不克。」
J36nB369_p0916c16誕日,解制,上堂。「長慶七破蒲團,繫鳥無繇展翼;臨濟J36nB369_p0916c17三遭痛棒,蓼蟲枉耐苦心。果是英特之士,神機莫測、J36nB369_p0916c18變化無窮,靜猶羚羊挂樹、動如妙翅摶風,移那邊缽J36nB369_p0916c19盂、過者邊喫飯,曾無兩副肚皮;穿玉笥艸鞋、問錢塘J36nB369_p0916c20野渡,只有一雙腳版。我能轉換一切境界,一切境界J36nB369_p0916c21不能轉換于我。若必要向父母未生前、已生後討箇J36nB369_p0916c22符信,輥入異類中,東觸、西觸,當休、不休?山僧雖將四J36nB369_p0916c23十五年來所醞釀底一時傾出了,情知諸人點頭者J36nB369_p0916c24有一半、搖手者有一半。何謂?雖嫌此處菜根淡,未必J36nB369_p0916c25他山客意濃。」
J36nB369_p0916c26謝檀越請上堂。按拄杖,曰:「秖者箇,譬如隨意珠,成滿J36nB369_p0916c27眾生心;此法亦如是,成就一切願。蓋為情塵封蔽、識J36nB369_p0916c28網瑩纏,聞見麤浮、訾誹愈力,江西、湖南,千里、萬里,總J36nB369_p0916c29要相頭買帽、見貨成交,礙膺之物不得消鎔,惟許一J36nB369_p0916c30口吸盡西江水底漢,輕輕跨入、步步圓融,鑽仰無厭、J36nB369_p0917a01篤信彌深,般柴運水盡為無礙神通,刪詩定禮無非J36nB369_p0917a02百千三昧,探箇生死遺音,猶枕邊蝶夢、水面月痕,任J36nB369_p0917a03去任來、無固無必,指箇紹隆要旨,桂馥秋墀、蘭芳春J36nB369_p0917a04圃,淵才峻業、仁壽巍基,青黃映色、長短隨形,世系繩J36nB369_p0917a05繩、宗猷秩秩。大眾!且道者箇具什麼眼目得如是靈J36nB369_p0917a06通?花繁子盛聲光遠,拄地擎天妙力多。」卓拄杖。
J36nB369_p0917a07上堂。舉:「梁山觀曰:『南來者與三十棒,北來者與三十J36nB369_p0917a08棒。雖然如是,不當宗乘。』瑯琊覺曰:『梁山好一片真金,J36nB369_p0917a09將作頑鐵賣卻。瑯琊者裏即不然,南來者與三十棒,J36nB369_p0917a10北來者與三十棒,從教天下衲僧貶剝。』」師曰:「履至尊J36nB369_p0917a11而調御六合,梁山切於上治求賢;振長策而宰制八J36nB369_p0917a12紘,瑯琊深於寬厚待士。二大老操心垂手,可為神矣。J36nB369_p0917a13欲使萬方歸往,未能一也。雲門者裏即不然,南來者J36nB369_p0917a14與三十棒,北來者與三十棒。丹詔忽從金殿出,雕鞍J36nB369_p0917a15盡向御街行。」
J36nB369_p0917a16施主捨法衣,上堂。「金刀剪就,玉線聯成,前佛後佛唱J36nB369_p0917a17和欣欣,西土東土家聲浩浩,佛心以之開顯,祖意以J36nB369_p0917a18之宣明,雞足峰前交付未得,大庾嶺上爭取不能?今J36nB369_p0917a19日檀越親呈,山僧一肩允荷,披坐曲彔木床,向人天J36nB369_p0917a20眾前不惜東語西話,秖圖大家知有。且知有箇甚麼?」J36nB369_p0917a21舉衣角,曰:「挂弊昔嫌黃面叟,遺殃千古累兒孫。」
J36nB369_p0917a22上堂。「二六時若履輕冰,如蹈白刃,與他一頓拄杖。一J36nB369_p0917a23切處優游無事,坦蕩有容,也與一頓拄杖。直饒總不J36nB369_p0917a24恁麼者,放過即不可。畢竟如何?」良久曰:「夜寒縮腳睡,J36nB369_p0917a25山好舉頭看。」
J36nB369_p0917a26請上堂。「谿煙泛紫,莫非劫外家私;山雨滴青,悉是懷J36nB369_p0917a27中至寶。所貴信手拈來,自解分岐共濟,觀各類之根J36nB369_p0917a28機,施諸佛之善巧,行一事則千事萬事歸元,說一言J36nB369_p0917a29則千言萬言應旨,統恒沙眾生為一真法友,總微塵J36nB369_p0917a30剎土是無際覺場。若必欲晝廢其食、夜忘其寢,孜孜J36nB369_p0917b01究妙、汲汲研窮,然後謂到岸不須船筏、入門放下瓢J36nB369_p0917b02囊,始可隨心取用,方能滿足菩提,猶是望梅止渴、想J36nB369_p0917b03酢生津,未為十分慶快。要得賓主交融、情禮兼到,向J36nB369_p0917b04上更有事在。」拈拂子:「禪悅六味、法喜三德,當供無數J36nB369_p0917b05萬億諸佛。」擊一下:「如上所言,並是真實。」
J36nB369_p0917b06除夜,小參。「金鱗衝五湖之浪,玉蹄追萬里之風,想要J36nB369_p0917b07明心見性,擬思荷負宗乘。生死未空,境風益大,馳求J36nB369_p0917b08不息,習漏愈深,此等喚作癡狂外走。到臘月三十日,J36nB369_p0917b09諸緣交逼將來,難免攢眉蹙額,蓋為尋常見搖白塵、J36nB369_p0917b10卓烏藤,便將佛法解會,此名毒刺入心,不可捄拔也。J36nB369_p0917b11秖如龍潭吹滅紙燭、雪峰輥出木毬、南泉斬卻貓兒、J36nB369_p0917b12趙州頂卻艸屨,此又是何道理?據雲門從年頭至年J36nB369_p0917b13尾,將從上古錐一一推勘過來,皆是背實蹈虛、挐三J36nB369_p0917b14道五。若要正令全提,盡十方世界所有圓覺伽藍只J36nB369_p0917b15可倩人看守,所以未免隨順一切眾類心,說其一切J36nB369_p0917b16真實事,燈宜清話消殘夜,曉入丹墀賀大年。」
J36nB369_p0917b17復舉:「洞山問雲居曰:『汝名什麼?』居曰:『道膺。』山曰:『向上J36nB369_p0917b18更道。』居曰:『向上即不名道膺。』山肯之。」師曰:「垂問極臨J36nB369_p0917b19下之盛節,酬對肅事上之精誠,在洞曰父子有是家J36nB369_p0917b20聲,然則揣其本究其末,猶是寰中塞外施設威容。大J36nB369_p0917b21眾要識禁殿重幃尊貴的旨麼?」良久,度拂子與侍者:J36nB369_p0917b22「今夜收起葛藤,且待新年相見。」
J36nB369_p0917b23上堂。「諸佛出身之路,列祖證道之門。檀越遊解脫場,J36nB369_p0917b24衲僧斷命根處。」喝一喝,曰:「者裏是。」僧問:「學人橫身直J36nB369_p0917b25入時如何?」師曰:「須防鐵門限。」曰:「和尚豈無方便?」師曰:J36nB369_p0917b26「不副前言,徒聞後語。」僧擬議,師便打。
J36nB369_p0917b27元旦上堂。舉拂子曰:「釋迦老子來也,大眾還見麼?既J36nB369_p0917b28見已,且道他來為甚麼說道?今朝是九重元會之辰、J36nB369_p0917b29萬國同春之日、百物咸新之始、四時揚化之端,事事J36nB369_p0917b30轉劫外祥光,塵塵布域中彩色,獨我正法眼藏、涅槃J36nB369_p0917c01妙心冷閣在靈鷲山前,三千年餘風吹雨灑、艸裏苔J36nB369_p0917c02封,未見有人潛心清理、出手提撕,遇此佳時美節,敢J36nB369_p0917c03借無作妙力,不圖矜奇誇麗,唯願整舊如新。山僧曰:J36nB369_p0917c04『若論正法眼藏、涅槃妙心,虛空有消殞,此涅槃心亙J36nB369_p0917c05古不壞;日月有晦冥,此正法眼歷劫嘗明。上至聖人、J36nB369_p0917c06下及凡夫,窮昆蟲、極艸木,物物圓成、箇箇本具,謂欲J36nB369_p0917c07整舊,是甚規模?為要更新,作何式樣?』釋迦老子直得J36nB369_p0917c08慚惶無措,向炭庫裏躲根去也。現前大眾如何轉得J36nB369_p0917c09一語,不但慶讚元辰、繁昌祖道,庶可與黃面老子出J36nB369_p0917c10氣?」良久,擊拂子曰:「恩波潑地春光遠,慧照彌天蠟炬J36nB369_p0917c11高。」
J36nB369_p0917c12上堂。「溪頭楓枝老,籬下菊花開。行人歎希有,日看幾J36nB369_p0917c13回來。可惜英俊道流,十箇有五雙,都作境會。既不作J36nB369_p0917c14境會,別有箇甚麼道理?」良久曰:「雲影秋剛好,蛩聲夜J36nB369_p0917c15已長。」
J36nB369_p0917c16肅眾,上堂。「過年纔經三日,做盡千態萬狀。放無線花J36nB369_p0917c17爆,溪邊石女喫驚;唱脫腔山歌,嶺上木人發笑。斯可J36nB369_p0917c18嚴飭常規,好把狂心歇下。」拈拄杖,曰:「須知拄杖子有J36nB369_p0917c19時放,則方圓任器,長短隨宜;有時收,則風靜波恬,時J36nB369_p0917c20清道泰;不收不放時,殊形異制從新歲,打雨敲風仍J36nB369_p0917c21舊時。」卓一下。
J36nB369_p0917c22上堂。「世尊拈花大事,達磨面壁因緣,後代兒孫各各J36nB369_p0917c23雄倚馬之才,箇箇擅白眉之譽,都道是正法眼藏、涅J36nB369_p0917c24槃妙心,只可自知,匪從人得。正謂頑迷一旦,望絕多J36nB369_p0917c25生。雲門今日重整家風,如有擔荷斯大事因緣者,出J36nB369_p0917c26來承紹看。」乃豎拂子,高聲喚曰:「大眾見麼?」眾舉首,師J36nB369_p0917c27便下座。
J36nB369_p0917c28上堂。「要提佛法向上,舌頭短了三寸;欲暢世諦極談,J36nB369_p0917c29口門闊了一尺。二邊俱不相當,其中如何展演?」豎拂J36nB369_p0917c30子曰:「元朝纔過,元宵已到。梅花正開,燈花鮮妙。惜花J36nB369_p0918a01情緒少人知,只好料掉。」乃擲拂子。
J36nB369_p0918a02元宵,施主送法鼓入山,上堂。「鹽官以虛空為鼓、須彌J36nB369_p0918a03為椎,枉費腕頭氣力。王老師不打者破鼓,未具作家J36nB369_p0918a04手段,爭如雲門者鼓蔟新成,現不假思惟,全憑一段J36nB369_p0918a05真實心中流出?須知此箇真實心為妙、為微妙?為上、J36nB369_p0918a06為無上?空其心也,隨扣擊而響應無虧;妙其體也,任J36nB369_p0918a07宛轉而偏圓罔測。示形于淮陰岸畔,垂跡于石傘峰J36nB369_p0918a08前,布一言則引窮子入門,傳一令則驚師子出窟,晴J36nB369_p0918a09空閃電無以奪其機,旱地疾雷不能比其用,秖在一J36nB369_p0918a10音震吼、十界圓聞,縱使三賢十聖悉聽指呼,大知小J36nB369_p0918a11見咸承教詔,居廛之士證入如大夢得醒,研道之人J36nB369_p0918a12觸著則偷心死盡,其餘隳耳塞聰、眇目矬陋、無威德J36nB369_p0918a13者何足道哉?可怪然燈佛在背地裏閒言冷語、㖿聲J36nB369_p0918a14歎氣,大似不甘。何故?深心不欲揚家醜,卻被伊人洩J36nB369_p0918a15我機。」
J36nB369_p0918a16上堂。「裊裊春風一箇月,梅花落盡枝頭雪。甚深無礙J36nB369_p0918a17大法門,特為諸仁我今說。」擊拂子,曰:「還聞麼?」良久,曰:J36nB369_p0918a18「耿耿山園杜宇心,勞勞自笑空啼血。」
J36nB369_p0918a19上堂。「白雲堆裏,放憨賣癡。紫翠叢中,橫三豎四。莫分J36nB369_p0918a20好惡高低,不須鑽腋插翅。秖要打破虛空,片片自然J36nB369_p0918a21落地。」以拄杖望空打一下,曰:「山僧與汝打破了也。還J36nB369_p0918a22有知得落處者麼?」良久,擲拄杖,曰:「拾取去。」
J36nB369_p0918a23復明知浴請上堂。「步步踏佛祖階梯,不為擅美;事事J36nB369_p0918a24循聖賢繩墨,未可稱雄。縱使一切不留,若危葉卷于J36nB369_p0918a25暴風;狐疑淨盡,猶堅冰化于春日。只喚作離過絕非、J36nB369_p0918a26太平無事底好人,直如具文殊深智、有普賢大膽,種J36nB369_p0918a27種施為時一絲不露,塵塵絕跡處萬法全彰,句句交J36nB369_p0918a28參、機機互換。所以,能以眼處作耳處佛事、能以耳處J36nB369_p0918a29作鼻處佛事、能以鼻處作舌處佛事、能以舌處作身J36nB369_p0918a30處佛事、能以身處作意處佛事、能以意處作一切處J36nB369_p0918b01佛事,搆得來者無言絕韻之調愈唱愈高,忘己利人J36nB369_p0918b02之心最光最大。其或疑而勿信、唯而復否,雲門不妨J36nB369_p0918b03將祖翁遺下訓謨可與諸仁教詔。」擊拂子,曰:「一飽自J36nB369_p0918b04然忘百饑,百城何用尋知識?」
J36nB369_p0918b05上堂。「悟之即升,迷之自墮。合則雙美,離則兩傷。者般J36nB369_p0918b06說話,正是胸中之疑未曾爆散,腳跟下生死命根子J36nB369_p0918b07不曾截斷,作他座主也未得在。若是正眼大開底,其J36nB369_p0918b08生與死、易與難一串穿過,便好月下高眠、磯頭垂釣。J36nB369_p0918b09雖然,我則異於是。」卓拄杖曰:「無可無不可。」
J36nB369_p0918b10商淨珺五十生辰,捨法衣,請上堂。「三春淑景,百卉爭J36nB369_p0918b11妍,紫燕呢喃于畫梁,說盡不傳秘密;黃鳥嚶鳴于深J36nB369_p0918b12樹,咸垂向上機輪。紅桃吐艷,綠柳垂絲,墅艇漁舠隨J36nB369_p0918b13波上下,山光雲影任日轉移,皆是大願堅固無漏三J36nB369_p0918b14昧門,實同金剛常住不朽,總為若耶溪上路徑甚闊、J36nB369_p0918b15雲門山中景致太多,自古自今、人來人往看得慣常,J36nB369_p0918b16都不在意。」提起袈裟角,曰:「秖者一片金鍼密密、錦縫J36nB369_p0918b17重重,前佛後佛慧命相聯,一絲一縷紀綱所繫,乃人J36nB369_p0918b18人本來具足底事,不肯一肩荷負,致使普賢王坐視J36nB369_p0918b19不安。」突出眾前高聲大喚,曰:「劫石固所堅也,此事傳J36nB369_p0918b20不朽焉。」卓拄杖,下座。
J36nB369_p0918b21清明薦亡,上堂。豎拂子曰:「者箇是平等自在無變易J36nB369_p0918b22三昧,一切人皆因正眼未開、自心不了,情塵壅蔽、識J36nB369_p0918b23綱縈纏,真如境上起種種思惟,寂滅法中生種種顛J36nB369_p0918b24倒,積劫累生,流蕩忘返。若是猛烈丈夫,當下一刀兩J36nB369_p0918b25段,管取安帖家邦。是故於中求涅槃不可得、求生死J36nB369_p0918b26不可得、求男子形不可得、求女人相不可得,無淨土J36nB369_p0918b27可生、無娑婆可出。既然如此,今日欲薦亡者向甚麼J36nB369_p0918b28處去?火燒寒食一堆楮,紅滿春山二月花。」
J36nB369_p0918b29石門月溪禪師請上堂。「語溪月耶,溪月混成一片;雲J36nB369_p0918b30門境石,門境曾無兩般。黃面瞿曇隨高就下,分理不J36nB369_p0918c01清;缺齒達磨東去西來,究竟不識。所謂般若是金剛J36nB369_p0918c02焰,箇箇莫能湊泊;般若是清涼池,人人可以染漬。得J36nB369_p0918c03之于心,一處圓融,十虛充滿;應之于手,轉麤為妙,刓J36nB369_p0918c04圓為方。移劫前高軌,揚格外權猷,直與佛祖同證、同J36nB369_p0918c05入、同作、同息,忘情、忘見,不疲、不猒,豈復分迷、分悟,較J36nB369_p0918c06得、較失,說正、說偏,論玄、論要?是則固是,大似蒸砂作J36nB369_p0918c07飯,誆騙饑人;若是飽參明眼,一場笑具。何謂?自有芬J36nB369_p0918c08芳任狼藉,野花何用鳥銜來?」
J36nB369_p0918c09上堂。「但恁麼去,神駒無追日之能;不恁麼來,妙翅失J36nB369_p0918c10摶風之志;總不恁麼時,猶為鬼家活計。若約衲僧分J36nB369_p0918c11上,合作麼生?閒來馳想千條路,飯飽長伸兩腳眠。」擲J36nB369_p0918c12拂子,曰:「參!」
J36nB369_p0918c13道林鏡和尚訃至,上堂。「春雨連綿,春風狂驟,樹鳥咽J36nB369_p0918c14淒涼之韻,山光帶慘澹之容。蓋先哲彬彬,後英濟濟,J36nB369_p0918c15唯道林法兄素風遼廓,景行彌高,行說相符,慈威並J36nB369_p0918c16現,祖苑得以壯猷,人天被其盛化,所謂濁世津梁,昏J36nB369_p0918c17衢寶炬也。忽而化緣已畢,四眾未免悲號。」驀拈訃帖J36nB369_p0918c18曰:「若見得者箇諦當,不必慟哀,須知善知識者是虛J36nB369_p0918c19空身相悉皆平等,普為眾生而能示現來實不來、去J36nB369_p0918c20實不去,如是則知道林和尚生氣儼然。大眾且向甚J36nB369_p0918c21處與他相見?雲行大野曾無跡,月印長川自有輝。」
J36nB369_p0918c22追嚴,上堂。「斗轉星移,風馳電掣。稱生未曾生,謂滅實J36nB369_p0918c23不滅。扁舟棹向五湖看,昔時風景今無別。」
J36nB369_p0918c24松陵蘊微老師請上堂。「無上法印,不假雕鐫。佛佛授J36nB369_p0918c25受,此不能授。祖祖相傳,此不能傳。惟有志擔負者,臨J36nB369_p0918c26場必勇,得手無疑。不消究理測微,自能隨方顯妙。一J36nB369_p0918c27步闊一步,深入如來所行境界。一機應一機,成就如J36nB369_p0918c28來無量法門。然檢點將來,猶與夢中人說夢中事。若J36nB369_p0918c29對明眼者,更有施設在。」拈拄杖曰:「拄杖如龍,從西過J36nB369_p0918c30東。人在綠楊隄岸,最相識不相逢。可惜春殘雨潤,叮J36nB369_p0919a01嚀江上漁翁卓一下,莫使花飛水面紅。」
J36nB369_p0919a02上堂。「花落殘紅,鳥啼深碧,達磨西來,分毫不直。大眾!J36nB369_p0919a03若內若外,聞鼓聲俱赴堂喫茶。且道不在內外中間J36nB369_p0919a04底人作甚麼?」良久,「天上孤蟾水底圓。」
J36nB369_p0919a05上堂。「非風動,非旛動,祖師舌頭拖地了也。仁者心動,J36nB369_p0919a06潦倒漁翁搔白首,愛魚猶有巧心情。」
J36nB369_p0919a07石門鼎悟禪請上堂。「道在墻外,禪是㼾磚。悟既不存,J36nB369_p0919a08迷從何起?巧說不益其事,馳求枉役其神。縱然言前J36nB369_p0919a09得旨,已落情塵;量外轉機,猶縈識綱。有從千里百里J36nB369_p0919a10來者,欲與生平契合。」拈拄杖曰:「秖要此箇杷柄入手,J36nB369_p0919a11探毘盧藏海,不假思惟;入總持園苑,匪資餘力。一縱J36nB369_p0919a12一橫,為佛祖權衡;一動一止,穿衲僧鼻孔。指點祖翁J36nB369_p0919a13家業,分明無惑。鬧市門頭、深山堆裏,處處是當人出J36nB369_p0919a14身捷徑。或半信半疑,終是落七落八。要佛種不斷,慧J36nB369_p0919a15命悠長。山僧豈可吝惜?」遂擲下拄杖。
J36nB369_p0919a16上堂。「漢世成平,賈誼恒為流慟;魏室雍熙,楊阜猶謂J36nB369_p0919a17可悲。衲僧家境風日鬥,心地未寧,無一點顧慮,還是J36nB369_p0919a18得優游處且自優游耶?為復生死岸頭別有生涯耶?J36nB369_p0919a19各人出來道看。不然,山僧道去也。翻身開夢眼,得意J36nB369_p0919a20看花顏。」
J36nB369_p0919a21上堂。「時雨霈然,農夫相慶。梅子熟矣,牧豎交歡。衲僧J36nB369_p0919a22家必有得意處,出來吐露一句看。」乃噓一聲,下座。
J36nB369_p0919a23上堂。舉:「大梅因夾山與定山同行語話次,定山曰:『生J36nB369_p0919a24死中無佛,即無生死。』夾山曰:『生死中有佛,即不迷生J36nB369_p0919a25死。』二人互相不肯,同上大梅質之。夾山問曰:『不知那J36nB369_p0919a26箇親?那箇疏?』梅曰:『一親一疏。』夾山曰:『未審那箇親?』梅J36nB369_p0919a27曰:『且去,明日來。』夾山明日再問,梅曰:『親者不問,問者J36nB369_p0919a28不親。』夾山住院後曰:『我當初在大梅失卻一隻眼。』雲J36nB369_p0919a29峰悅曰:『夾山只知失卻一隻眼,殊不知換得一隻眼。』J36nB369_p0919a30雪竇顯曰:『夾山畢竟不知換得一隻眼。大梅老漢當J36nB369_p0919b01時聞舉,以棒打出,不惟畫斷二人葛藤,亦迺為天下J36nB369_p0919b02宗匠。』」師曰:「大梅坐變窮荒之舊習,雪竇特頒全盛之J36nB369_p0919b03新條,二老葛藤早已截斷了也。夾山道:『失卻一隻眼。』J36nB369_p0919b04可謂曾從山下過,方識路高低。雲峰道:『換得一隻眼。』J36nB369_p0919b05乃是天心報施,實非偶然。雲門如斯判斷,也有親、也J36nB369_p0919b06有疏,若有人簡點得出,許你具一隻眼。其或不信,須J36nB369_p0919b07聽重布葛藤:水亭山院石榴紅,魯酒一卮醉兩翁,醒J36nB369_p0919b08後不知天早晚,玉顏非昔怨東風。」
J36nB369_p0919b09受曹山請,上堂。「雲門業債未清,曹山冤家已到。順人J36nB369_p0919b10情則雲從龍起,違法性則花共鳥飛。若謂劫前有路、J36nB369_p0919b11句裏無私,公案現成,不勞斟酌。雖然,更有一句,無處J36nB369_p0919b12不通,無機不應,阿誰道得?」良久,乃拍手三下。
J36nB369_p0919b13上堂。「少室門廣大,石頭路坦平。絕凡聖之異,無彼此J36nB369_p0919b14之殊。婉步由人,妙用在己。但是未得謂得、未至謂至、J36nB369_p0919b15未滿謂滿、未休謂休,所以遮障既深,見惑尤重。」拈起J36nB369_p0919b16拄杖曰:「諸仁鼻孔一齊穿卻了也。」卓一下曰:「剡溪訪J36nB369_p0919b17戴聊乘興,雪艇旋歸夜未央。」
J36nB369_p0919b18上堂。舉:「黃龍南和尚曰:『有一人朝看華嚴,暮觀般若,J36nB369_p0919b19日夜精勤,無有蹔暇。有一人不參禪,不論義,把箇破J36nB369_p0919b20席日裏睡。如是二人同到黃龍,一人有為,一人無為。J36nB369_p0919b21且安下那箇即是?』良久曰:『功德天,黑暗女,有智主人,J36nB369_p0919b22二俱不受。』」師曰:「將謂黃龍有容納太虛之量,經緯天J36nB369_p0919b23地之權,原來襟度如此狹隘。山僧則不然,如是二人J36nB369_p0919b24同到雲門,均以至禮款下。因甚如此?」卓拄杖曰:「惟大J36nB369_p0919b25人者,位天地,育萬物,其心不苟。」
J36nB369_p0919b26靈骨入塔,上堂。「耶水溯洄,泛者不易;雲門深邃,入者J36nB369_p0919b27固希。若非符懸肘後、鑒在機先,不在鬧浩浩中交輥,J36nB369_p0919b28即向靜悄悄處沈湮,未免錯過一生。所以,要與此事J36nB369_p0919b29相應,須是見得了了分明、踏得步步真實,道果飄香J36nB369_p0919b30于性地、靈苗櫂秀于心田,則入廛、出廛,冠冕真俗;此J36nB369_p0919c01岸、彼岸,領袖凡愚。一切土皆往、一切處咸安,百匝千J36nB369_p0919c02重,回互不犯;七穿八穴,舒卷隨宜。更說甚麼生死去J36nB369_p0919c03來、見聞知覺,不是自己一段風光?大眾!還知道安尼J36nB369_p0919c04立地處麼?九夏薰風來北牖,百年大夢醒南柯。」
J36nB369_p0919c05上堂。「佛法無人說,雖慧莫能了。山僧今夜不惜身命,J36nB369_p0919c06為諸仁說去也。」良久,曰:「暑天炎熱,伏惟珍重。」
J36nB369_p0919c07上堂。拈拄杖一畫,曰:「者條石頭路徑,自古到今,來者J36nB369_p0919c08萬千,去者無限。其中狐疑不決底,欲左之,恐沈下劣J36nB369_p0919c09之坑;欲右之,慮墮無為之阱。還他恢恢大丈夫,別有J36nB369_p0919c10出人標致,到者裏始不躊躇顧盻。」遂卓拄杖,曰:「我愛J36nB369_p0919c11高山曲,知音是子期。」
