J36nB369_p0963b04示眾。「欲研究己躬大事因緣,當在缺限。世界事事虛J36nB369_p0963b05浮,要知虛浮不實,境上或好或惡,皆可以觸發靈機。J36nB369_p0963b06但令胸次坦蕩,心地潔淨,世間應為者為之,應棄者J36nB369_p0963b07棄之,七縱八橫,左右逢源,於話頭上切切提撕,辦一J36nB369_p0963b08片久長心,以悟為期,不得多憂多慮,求其速悟。蓋多J36nB369_p0963b09憂多慮之念,乃窒塞心地,障蔽道眼,轉求轉遠也。惟J36nB369_p0963b10在話頭上拌命挨拶,意識途窮,生死路絕,是謂歸家J36nB369_p0963b11之時,是為穩坐之處。到此時節,胸中種種疑滯,如赫J36nB369_p0963b12日爍輕冰;古人種種差別,如暴風卷危葉。所以解心J36nB369_p0963b13上執縛,洗心上濁垢,斬心上稠林,斷心上生死。果然J36nB369_p0963b14恁麼去,亦無執縛底道理,頭頭本地風光,處處自己J36nB369_p0963b15面目,日用施為,如水上葫蘆,不捺而圓活也。到者箇J36nB369_p0963b16境界,猶啞子得夢,說與人不得,舉似人不得,好惡自J36nB369_p0963b17知。若更有所重,則為鬼窟生涯,野狐涎唾。況此事如J36nB369_p0963b18白日裏遇物,一見便知真實,別人惑我不得。或謂有J36nB369_p0963b19奇特事商量,有秘密傳授,將他捶得爛熟,深深掘箇J36nB369_p0963b20窖坑埋之,免得在世間造妖捏怪,鼓惑後人也。衲子J36nB369_p0963b21家圓顱方服,世間極為尊貴,出世間最為正氣。若不J36nB369_p0963b22以生死大事討箇分曉,枉向閻浮國裏行一轉,到末J36nB369_p0963b23稍頭欠下許多業債,不知到何劫中纔得清楚。是故J36nB369_p0963b24學此道者,立箇決定志。志若不決定,如聽杓卜聲相J36nB369_p0963b25似,見人說指東則走過東,見人說指西則走過西。如J36nB369_p0963b26有決定志,則虛浮不實境上立定腳跟,拏定主宰,自J36nB369_p0963b27不與之為冤為對,輥出輥入也。願諸仁發精進力,堅J36nB369_p0963b28猛烈志,必到桶箍斷、大事明為期限。縱有八萬四千J36nB369_p0963b29魔王在汝六根門頭俟候,僉來惱汝不得其便。抑且J36nB369_p0963b30般若上無孤負人底道理,能留心在上邊做得純熟,J36nB369_p0963c01或今生不能成就種子,下得深遠,眼光落地時,不致J36nB369_p0963c02被惡緣流入異趣,翻箇身轉來,換箇殼漏子,觸著鼓J36nB369_p0963c03著,自然省力,定是成辦,亦不是別人。努力,珍重。」
J36nB369_p0963c04岊菴知茶,請示眾。「若論向上一事,聖人不增一絲,凡J36nB369_p0963c05夫不減一點。及至問著,十人有五雙不知下落。且道J36nB369_p0963c06過在甚麼處?譬如人人屋簷下有一片田,四至畝步,J36nB369_p0963c07元是清楚底。只為年代深遠,世界變遷,從無始劫來,J36nB369_p0963c08業主每更,佃戶頻換,虛文空約,以訛傳訛,以致同業J36nB369_p0963c09相纏,合離成化,無有了日。釋迦老子道:『我是開天闢J36nB369_p0963c10地第一箇聖帝明皇。』既欲教育四生,師範三界,則遙J36nB369_p0963c11鄙窮陬,肥田瘠地,莫非皇土,豈可隨他邊疆混亂,虛J36nB369_p0963c12實相欺?必須丈量一番,然後豪貴不致隱匿,細民免J36nB369_p0963c13當空役,纔好多寡分明,貧富均溥。即便頒一道詔書,J36nB369_p0963c14遍告於天下曰:『汝等當知,一切眾生,從無始來,生死J36nB369_p0963c15相續,皆由不知常住真心,性淨明體,用諸妄想。此想J36nB369_p0963c16不真,故有輪轉。汝今欲研無上菩提,真發明性,應當J36nB369_p0963c17直心,酬我所問。十方如來,同一道故,出離生死,皆以J36nB369_p0963c18直心。心言直故,如是乃至終始地位,中間永無諸委J36nB369_p0963c19曲相。』欽命西天四七、東土二三諸祖為量田弓手。諸J36nB369_p0963c20祖道:『我既遵奉慈旨量田,自然至公無私,不敢作弊。J36nB369_p0963c21但你們若有匿名虛號、隱田漏稅,當要詳明上司,嚴J36nB369_p0963c22查深究。』故達磨曰:『我觀東土有大乘根器,堪傳法印,J36nB369_p0963c23特地航海而來,埽除知解,洗蕩殘妖,不立文字,直指J36nB369_p0963c24人心,見性成佛也。從上老宿乃是造冊小書,唯把量J36nB369_p0963c25訖之田,依畝數字號編造一箇弓口冊,亦不敢增減J36nB369_p0963c26釐毫絲忽。此一片田輥圓底應著,其土名謂大圓鏡,J36nB369_p0963c27南至五陰山,北至六賊田,東至無明大路,西至煩惱J36nB369_p0963c28官河。故曰:我宗無語句,亦無一法與人。此事原是本J36nB369_p0963c29有底,蓋為久遠劫來迷失了,不肯認真照管。如今四J36nB369_p0963c30至畝步已清楚了,土名田樣已分明了,虛名差號已J36nB369_p0964a01改正了,寄田躲役已推出了,縱有種種麤惡境界現J36nB369_p0964a02前,心不怕怖;種種勝妙境界現前,亦不驚異。』即動疏J36nB369_p0964a03覆旨云:『如是大解脫法,與佛說一大藏教無異無別,J36nB369_p0964a04無前無後,無古無今,無少無剩。』所以釋迦老子准其J36nB369_p0964a05奏,批旨下曰:『吾今為汝保任此事,終不虛也。』大眾!且J36nB369_p0964a06畢竟那箇是業主?」良久,曰:「今夜是知茶設茶。」
J36nB369_p0964a07示眾。「做工夫看箇話頭,如發兵討賊,既已知賊所在,J36nB369_p0964a08當要急急追上,不可逗留遲緩。行住坐臥、穿衣喫飯J36nB369_p0964a09處、屙矢放尿處、語言酬對處,潛緝密捕,忽然獲著也。J36nB369_p0964a10且道賊是那箇?」驀扭住一僧:「莫是你麼?」僧罔措,師將J36nB369_p0964a11一推,曰:「卻是瞌睡漢。」
J36nB369_p0964a12結制,知浴請示眾。「望仙橋把斷要津,南來也不得、北J36nB369_p0964a13往也不得;芙蓉岸高張銕網,進前亦無能、退後亦無J36nB369_p0964a14能。果是作得主宰、立定腳跟底漢,去住也如是、寒暑J36nB369_p0964a15也如是、安危也如是、苦樂也如是,乃至上天堂、入地J36nB369_p0964a16獄、喫辣棒、受惡罵,一切皆如是。行一事,則揚劫外嘉J36nB369_p0964a17猷;出一言,則凜寰中風致。斯為參學事畢,到家時節J36nB369_p0964a18也。設或礙膺物不消、己躬事未辦,趁色力強壯、事業J36nB369_p0964a19可為之際,不必別求方便,秖要放下身心真為生死,J36nB369_p0964a20將箇話頭置於胸次、橫在目前,如千尋銕壁,東也撞、J36nB369_p0964a21西也撞,不管春去秋來、不論晝長夜短、不分是非得J36nB369_p0964a22失、不計枯淡豐盈、不較迷悟遲速,忽然將鐵壁撞穿,J36nB369_p0964a23敢保馳求永息,坐享太平。到此田地,雖謂向浴鍋裏J36nB369_p0964a24全身獨露,入水已見長人,究竟將來只可博些瓜子J36nB369_p0964a25炒豆、棗子腐乾、條糕燒餅喫喫。要與向上一事相應,J36nB369_p0964a26須如僧問藥山曰:『學人有疑,請師決。』山曰:『待上堂時J36nB369_p0964a27來與你決。』至晚,上堂,眾集,山曰:『今日要決疑底僧在J36nB369_p0964a28甚麼處?』僧出眾而立,山下禪床把住,曰:『大眾!者僧有J36nB369_p0964a29疑。』便與一推,卻歸方丈。」師曰:「藥山老漢將墻壁戶牖J36nB369_p0964a30一齊打開了也,能向裏許拌命挨入,便是大光明藏、J36nB369_p0964b01便是大解脫場。如若正信不堅、纖疑未盡,歲月送迎J36nB369_p0964b02無了日,莫教孤負好春光。」
小參
J36nB369_p0964b04小參。舉:「藥山久不陞堂,院主白曰:『大眾久思示誨。』山J36nB369_p0964b05曰:『打鐘著。』眾纔集,山便下座歸方丈,主隨後曰:『和尚J36nB369_p0964b06既許為眾說法,為甚一言不措?』山曰:『經有經師、論有J36nB369_p0964b07論師,爭怪得老僧?』」師曰:「藥山老子駿步不拘、鷹揚無J36nB369_p0964b08匹,廬陵米上高騰時價、石頭路裏獨擅風流,其尊特J36nB369_p0964b09稱雄可謂無敵於天下,被箇院主輕輕一言慫恿,便J36nB369_p0964b10爾隨他調度、和泥合水,究竟院主不滿其欲、大眾有J36nB369_p0964b11失其望。資聖則不如是,或院主白曰:『大眾久思示誨。』J36nB369_p0964b12也不論根之大小,一雨普潤;也不定法之半滿,珠玉J36nB369_p0964b13齊傾。直令箇箇習漏頓除、全身荷負,院主自無絮語J36nB369_p0964b14憎嫌。然復有隨後曰:『和尚今日所說是甚麼法?』又將J36nB369_p0964b15何酬對?」良久:「山僧今日勞倦,請西堂為汝說罷。」
J36nB369_p0964b16小參。「激揚諸佛說不到底事,提持諸祖行不盡底令,J36nB369_p0964b17須是君臣道合、賓主氣和,敲唱雙行更無回互,且什J36nB369_p0964b18麼人而明如是事?不見昔日洞山與密師伯遊山次,J36nB369_p0964b19忽見白兔從艸中跳過,密曰:『俊哉!』山曰:『作麼生?』密曰:J36nB369_p0964b20『大似白衣拜相。』山曰:『老老大大作者箇語話。』密曰:『你J36nB369_p0964b21又作麼生?』山曰:『積代簪纓,暫時落魄。』」師曰:「者箇公案J36nB369_p0964b22是何意旨?作何理論?田地穩密底見恁麼舉,便知無J36nB369_p0964b23量劫來事悉在掌握之中,毫無隱晦;流浪日久底聞J36nB369_p0964b24恁麼事,繁疑窒塞、迷悶重增,豈能湊泊得來?若白衣J36nB369_p0964b25拜相處會得,即與古人音容相接、律呂相諧,提封九J36nB369_p0964b26有、撫育四生;若積代簪纓處會得,獨闢繼往開來之J36nB369_p0964b27要路,佇觀地平天成之雍熙。雖然如是,分明曉了,衲J36nB369_p0964b28僧分上秖得一半,那一半到明日為汝注破。」
J36nB369_p0964b29請刈禾,小參。「若論此事到相應處,驗於田事自無差J36nB369_p0964b30謬,先要般若種子剔揀潔淨,無明稗草不容混雜,御J36nB369_p0964c01大白牛將祖翁田地深耕淺耖,以待心苗培養,春就J36nB369_p0964c02群栽、秋來等穫,中間根本未壯、欲習初乾,諸子紛譁,J36nB369_p0964c03三車並運,才與如來法流水接,加功機務分任得宜,J36nB369_p0964c04智力耘耡勤勞不猒,真如莖榦挺特標奇,智慧英華J36nB369_p0964c05開敷擢秀,驀地境風搖蕩,惟恐嘉穗揉傷,忽朝法雨J36nB369_p0964c06所滋,且喜焦芽載茂,有如是操持、有如是保任,成熟J36nB369_p0964c07有望、損益無憂,更藉大眾勇猛爭先、艱辛莫避,箇箇J36nB369_p0964c08奮求珠之心、人人懷得寶之念,不動而運,顆顆登妙J36nB369_p0964c09覺之場,不行斯到,粒粒入真空之藏,者邊那畔斬斷J36nB369_p0964c10淆訛,山前屋後不致狼藉,到此時節,萬行高流纔好J36nB369_p0964c11忘功罷業,五湖衲子須憑任意飽參。雖然恁麼提撕,J36nB369_p0964c12猶是化門展演,畢竟如何得與此事相應?」良久,曰:「明J36nB369_p0964c13朝田阪裏,子細好商量。」
J36nB369_p0964c14謝刈禾,小參。舉:「地藏問修山主曰:『從甚處來?』主曰:『南J36nB369_p0964c15方來。』藏曰:『南方近日佛法如何?』主曰:『商量浩浩。』地藏J36nB369_p0964c16曰:『爭如我者裏栽田博飯?』主曰:『爭柰三界何?』藏曰:『喚J36nB369_p0964c17甚麼作三界?』」師曰:「地藏雖則行上治之政,弘至醇之J36nB369_p0964c18風,猶未達於民情也。殊不知人人為此一片田地,從J36nB369_p0964c19曠劫來備嘗辛苦,布種不潔、雜穢充繁,農務不時、荒J36nB369_p0964c20蕪遍野,喫飯不知飯香、飲茶不知茶味,腳板為之走J36nB369_p0964c21穿、筋骨為之磨斷,雨多恐其沉淪、水少憂其乾燥,太J36nB369_p0964c22寒則慮根株矬小、過熱則愁莖葉焦枯,至於青黃未J36nB369_p0964c23決之際,其將有成,若不寬心蓄養,速要暴富登場,終J36nB369_p0964c24與秀而不實者同一患也。斯藉眾力,盡勿猒勞,時候J36nB369_p0964c25不違,秋收已畢,不待商量浩浩,自然大事圓成,秖有J36nB369_p0964c26一人常在田頭地後,不離禁殿重闈。大眾!還識得他J36nB369_p0964c27麼?」良久,「幾乎錯下名言。」
J36nB369_p0964c28愚菴老宿大椿尼對靈,小參。「生而無生,天龍伸出瘦J36nB369_p0964c29指;滅而不滅,菴主豎起空拳。玉笛橫吹彩鳳鳴,鐵船J36nB369_p0964c30同泛明湖月。恁麼語話,已是齒不關風,情存向背。」擊J36nB369_p0965a01拂子。「殊不知,此一片田地常住妙明,周圓不變,求其J36nB369_p0965a02去來、生死、迷悟了無所得,不謂煩惱是垢濁、不謂菩J36nB369_p0965a03提惟清淨、不謂生死有分別、不謂涅槃恒寂靜。若是J36nB369_p0965a04過量人,能在翻身一擲抹過大千,逆順境上莫可遷J36nB369_p0965a05流,憎愛關頭不為障蔽,隨緣作主到處稱尊。惟大椿J36nB369_p0965a06老宿夙具金剛正眼,解脫法門處處開拓,操持般若J36nB369_p0965a07靈鋒,輪轉根株塵塵斬斷,蓋有大慈攝化同事之願,J36nB369_p0965a08現於柔順如幻色相之身,撫育明俊如瑾之瑛,唯德J36nB369_p0965a09有鄰如蘭之馥,入世間法如蓮花在水而於一切皆J36nB369_p0965a10無染著,勵出世道如松柏擎霄而於一切無所疲猒,J36nB369_p0965a11以不思議力故、以不可壞力故,若威嚴、若慈藹、若熙J36nB369_p0965a12怡、若愛語,令樂見者發深信心,以如是行而作佛事,J36nB369_p0965a13攪澄不異、磨涅不痕,是故將欲與世長揖之時,奮然J36nB369_p0965a14超然、是去非去,政不待假力於無手之人也。因有如J36nB369_p0965a15是風標,故有如是奇特,誠非世間言語而歎所盡,皆J36nB369_p0965a16我老人於有為界中示無為法而不滅壞有為之性、J36nB369_p0965a17於無為界中示有為法而不分別無為之相,能以善J36nB369_p0965a18巧方便演出無量差別音聲,為一切眾生之母說慈J36nB369_p0965a19善之法、為一切眾生之子說至孝之道、與一切癡翳J36nB369_p0965a20眾生作大智慧導師、與一切窮露眾生作寶莊嚴樓J36nB369_p0965a21閣。範上座到者裏意想不得、分疏不下,擬將一滴之J36nB369_p0965a22水欲增大海波瀾,非謂不知量也,貴要大家知有。且J36nB369_p0965a23如何是知有底事?秋林一夜雨生涼,黛抹千山倩曉J36nB369_p0965a24妝,珍重歸源時節好,風飄錦帶藕花香。」
J36nB369_p0965a25楊旨音居士對靈小參。「大道體寬,無易無難,菊芳共J36nB369_p0965a26賞,山好同看,無生無滅,不去不來,煙籠古徑,月鎖瑤J36nB369_p0965a27臺。者些子乃從上佛祖出離生死之真三昧,亦無一J36nB369_p0965a28含靈而不具足,但器識麤浮,根性陋劣,當機罔措,覿J36nB369_p0965a29面猶迷。若是沒量大人,於無量佛所種諸善根、生淨J36nB369_p0965a30信者,自然證入無疑也。恭惟悾菴居士旨音楊公,人J36nB369_p0965b01今而心古,氣正而顏和,得泗水真傳,受靈峰至囑,視J36nB369_p0965b02榮名同夢鹿,知身世等漚花,醇風厚德,雍穆閭閻,孝J36nB369_p0965b03友勤儉,啟訓後英。處塵勞不為累,宛如林下閒人;歷J36nB369_p0965b04險難不為搖,何異山中老衲?人境淆訛,多方攝護,世J36nB369_p0965b05情錯綜,一致混融,頭頭活潑,種種施為,總不出他一J36nB369_p0965b06箇善權方便也。昔公於己丑夏歸依先師,問道周旋,J36nB369_p0965b07山僧得與投契交遊,屈指已二十三年,情忘水乳,淡J36nB369_p0965b08雅悠長,憂吾法道,念我艱辛,切於同源,徹於心髓,凡J36nB369_p0965b09一聚會,書牘往來,靡不以己躬大事未得了悟而為J36nB369_p0965b10咨訣。蓋自信得人人本來具足之道,不假指陳勸示J36nB369_p0965b11而後能,故其臨終為道之心切切孜孜,益加綿密,剃J36nB369_p0965b12髮披緇以畢其志,佛聲浩浩,脫化超然,非夙生培植J36nB369_p0965b13般若種子踏實做將來,焉能有如是操略?且玉樹已J36nB369_p0965b14見爭奇、宗祊憑其闡奕,信仁人之有後以為喜也。我J36nB369_p0965b15因知公生於無生中受生、死於無死中受死,於大解J36nB369_p0965b16脫三昧海中優游自在,不為一法之所留礙,恁麼則J36nB369_p0965b17世裔道胤綺互延長,淨土娑婆無容拘束。山僧世外J36nB369_p0965b18友也,不無知己之感,故秋深一棹遠抵蕭山,欲證明J36nB369_p0965b19居士末後一段公案,到者裏說箇甚麼即得?」舉:「龐居J36nB369_p0965b20士問馬祖:『不與萬法為侶者是甚麼人?』祖曰:『待汝一J36nB369_p0965b21口吸盡西江水即向汝道。』居士於此開悟。楊悾菴居J36nB369_p0965b22士問先師:『不與萬法為侶者是甚麼人?』師曰:『騎牛童J36nB369_p0965b23子赤腳走。』居士於此深省。據實看來,一箇失卻一張J36nB369_p0965b24口、一箇開得一隻眼,總無倒斷在。諸人或摸索不著,J36nB369_p0965b25更聽山僧註破:吸盡西江消一口,騎牛童子赤腳走,J36nB369_p0965b26不知誰是得便宜?醉臥花街看北斗。」
J36nB369_p0965b27滄溟和尚請為母對靈小參。「劫外淵猷,無二無別;新J36nB369_p0965b28豐家法,至極至尊。織蒲屨於水邊,無人酬價;提宏綱J36nB369_p0965b29於鬧市,有法歸宗。將五位以鋪張,隨三根而闡妙,清J36nB369_p0965b30流遶檻,紅樹當門,機機回互,法法交羅,調不相合,非J36nB369_p0965c01我知音,刀劈不開,始稱母子。東塔受法姪滿公之請,J36nB369_p0965c02為徐母智日安人要說箇蜜齊中邊之甜、火等古今J36nB369_p0965c03之熱,但安人金剛種子夙已結成、般若靈苗今亦增J36nB369_p0965c04秀,世間、出世事理兼到,身前、身後徹底光輝,詳而驗J36nB369_p0965c05之,其滿公孝意深衷、敦本扶末可為證矣,更要山僧J36nB369_p0965c06說箇甚麼?若謂一切法不生、一切法不滅,者邊、那邊J36nB369_p0965c07隨緣飲啄,天宮、淨土任意逍遙,猶是世諦儀文,總不J36nB369_p0965c08若生也不道、死也不道。且道安人在甚麼處?雨餘遠J36nB369_p0965c09浦歸漁艇,月映蘆汀白鷺眠。」
J36nB369_p0965c10陳雷生薦室,請小參。「萬里長空獨鴈鳴,千嵒落木動J36nB369_p0965c11秋聲,涅槃堂奧無門限,一任優游自在行。是故,靈光J36nB369_p0965c12不昧,萬古徽猷,入此門來,莫存知解。此雖是信口說、J36nB369_p0965c13信步行,總要人親到自己故家田地。」豎拂子。「秖者箇J36nB369_p0965c14是謂一味平等法門,佛祖謂之寂靜妙常、眾生謂之J36nB369_p0965c15生死根塵、東方謂之妙喜世界、西方謂之極樂家鄉,J36nB369_p0965c16三界萬法靡不圓攝。所以,張孺人據此法門,事姑嫜J36nB369_p0965c17以孝、穆鄰里以敬,撫憐赤子,逆順施為,慈仁播美,懿J36nB369_p0965c18德標奇,醒大夢於長夜、消無明於曠劫。當知五漏幻J36nB369_p0965c19軀即是金剛正體,於中求其聖凡、男女、生死、去來了J36nB369_p0965c20不可得。既然如是,還見他立地處麼?金地花鋪青靄J36nB369_p0965c21合,寶池月映碧天高。」
J36nB369_p0965c22大慶院具之尼對靈小參。「生從何來?千尋井底飛塵J36nB369_p0965c23埃;死從何去?十字街頭猛虎踞。者裏見得諦當,無量J36nB369_p0965c24劫來根深固蒂,生死輪迴一翻翻轉,乃知諸緣未遇J36nB369_p0965c25之先來實不來、四大分離之後去實不去,修絕異同、J36nB369_p0965c26證無差別,摧壞一切憎愛大山、安住平等真常妙樂。J36nB369_p0965c27正眼未開者,喜怒哀樂異端競起,僧俗男女各立門J36nB369_p0965c28庭,苦猒娑婆欣樂安養,念慮遷流紛然無緒,取捨變J36nB369_p0965c29化奔逸不休,使自家一片潔白田地上荊棘叢生、葛J36nB369_p0965c30藤纏繞,轉見昏迷,愈加沉墜。惟具之菴主於諸法性J36nB369_p0966a01通達明了,成就廣大總持三昧,故到末梢頭上如象J36nB369_p0966a02王擺脫枷鎖,自在遊行。雖然,若到祖師門下,猶欠一J36nB369_p0966a03著在。」豎拂子:「誰是生?誰是死?四壁寒香雪色濃,心知J36nB369_p0966a04不在喃喃語。」
J36nB369_p0966a05空明菴德章尼對靈小參。「風生碧落,雨滴青松,好鳥J36nB369_p0966a06和鳴,圓音無盡。谿邊石女塞斷耳根,嶺上鐵牛拽回J36nB369_p0966a07鼻孔,威音那畔風光塵塵顯露,空劫已前面目歷歷J36nB369_p0966a08全彰。者裏悟去,髻中寶元是現成,衣裏珠從來具足,J36nB369_p0966a09不起思惟,精操萬行,匪移跬步,參遍百城,一切處放J36nB369_p0966a10光動地,一切處妙用神通,入生死流不被生死之所J36nB369_p0966a11淪沒,踞涅槃岸不為涅槃之所留連。雖然,檢點將來J36nB369_p0966a12猶未是向上一路。」以拂子畫○相曰:「此名金剛圈,亦J36nB369_p0966a13謂大圓鏡,冥萬化真機,顯千門德相,微細包容,廣大J36nB369_p0966a14悉備,所以淨土娑婆、諸佛眾生、僧俗男女、尊卑貴賤、J36nB369_p0966a15有情無情、人非人等總在裏許,若帝網垂珠重重交J36nB369_p0966a16映,猶秋空片月處處騰輝,恁麼則淨土穢土乃是一J36nB369_p0966a17途,男身女身會無二相,又何必往無垢世界轉換形J36nB369_p0966a18貌,正覺始成,強生節目?」喝!「夜半海門紅日上,碧蓮池J36nB369_p0966a19畔訪知音。」
J36nB369_p0966a20秦龍山對靈小參。「鬧市叢中驚人句子,大家有分;醉J36nB369_p0966a21翁衣裏照世明珠,靡不現成。待寂靜時方能理會,到J36nB369_p0966a22酒醒時纔可尋思,是埋沒己靈,非達觀人世之謂也。J36nB369_p0966a23果是生鐵鑄成漢子,冰霜練就心腸,遊於世間如入J36nB369_p0966a24空聚,為一切事遠離諸相,隨緣本分生涯,到處尋常J36nB369_p0966a25活計。既為一切事、離一切相,則戴髮者非為俗士、圓J36nB369_p0966a26顱者不是僧倫,紅塵堆裏即是菩提寂場、維摩室中J36nB369_p0966a27不異如來寶所;既隨緣活計、到處生涯,則諸佛與眾J36nB369_p0966a28生一體、涅槃與生死同源,東土與西方無別、清淨與J36nB369_p0966a29濁垢不殊。惟我龍山居士以此得不壞信、修無垢因,J36nB369_p0966a30示虛幻家、說真實法,教子以孝、敦友以仁,德孚異類、J36nB369_p0966b01道藹同人,知生是無生眼,與碧天開霽;識死是不死J36nB369_p0966b02襟,同夢宅宣猷。推此因地,般若種性宿培深厚,故能J36nB369_p0966b03委蛻怡然,隨願而往,不言可知。但是臨行掉臂時高J36nB369_p0966b04唱驚人句子,亂拋照世明珠,見者驚疑、聞者怖懼,孝J36nB369_p0966b05子殷勤申請,山僧破格入城,特與證明。」豎拂子,「大眾J36nB369_p0966b06還見麼?」擊一下,「還聞麼?既已聞見分明,則知生是無J36nB369_p0966b07生、死是不死,且道龍山居士即今在甚麼處?推倒須J36nB369_p0966b08彌百念休,世間出世更何求?安心穩坐蓮舟上,玉樹J36nB369_p0966b09流芳看聚頭。」
J36nB369_p0966b10莫順之對靈小參。「夜雨催花韻廣長,溪山到處水流J36nB369_p0966b11香,目前盡是歸元路,不用思惟達本鄉。蓋一切眾生J36nB369_p0966b12到者裏皆一念之迷,淪溺生死海中,恣縱貪、嗔、癡,隨J36nB369_p0966b13逐身、口、意,起種種攀緣、造種種結業,所以輪迴六道、J36nB369_p0966b14流轉四生,自從曠劫以至今生,頭出頭沒無有已時,J36nB369_p0966b15然不知起諸善法本是幻、造諸惡業亦是幻,身如聚J36nB369_p0966b16沫心如風,幻出諸根無實性。恁麼,則關山萬里、憂慮J36nB369_p0966b17千重,以為功名利祿也是幻,內而見聞覺知、外而根J36nB369_p0966b18身器界也是幻,離怖畏地到極樂家也是幻,山僧為J36nB369_p0966b19居士說法也是幻,居士聽山僧說法也是幻。」豎拂子,J36nB369_p0966b20「惟者箇是金剛,常住不朽。者世界變遷,彼無移易;虛J36nB369_p0966b21空銷殞,此不沮壞。若也未審端詳,試聽幻人通箇消J36nB369_p0966b22息,桃紅柳綠皆春色,總在東君自主張。」
J36nB369_p0966b23念菴尼對靈小參。「鷺刷前汀羽,蓮開白藕香,雨餘山J36nB369_p0966b24色好,風細水亭涼。現成家法,不假思惟,觸處分明,原J36nB369_p0966b25無背向。」拈拂子一畫,曰:「十方薄伽梵,一路涅槃門,秖J36nB369_p0966b26要當人入得此門,一一事存函蓋,頭頭理應箭鋒,普J36nB369_p0966b27攝群情,圓應萬有,偏圓宛轉,活潑無拘,可以覆載天J36nB369_p0966b28地、可以貫徹古今、可以出離生死、可以坐斷去來、可J36nB369_p0966b29以融聖凡之名、可以銷男女之相、可以證妙樂之常、J36nB369_p0966b30可以到無為之地。是故,念菴菴主般若夙培,靈根早J36nB369_p0966c01鬯,名門托跡,閥閱呈祥,知身世空中電影,視富貴水J36nB369_p0966c02面漚花,垂老披緇,志願匪懈,求善知識不生猒足,但J36nB369_p0966c03在疇昔妄念忽生,一真妙體五漏標形,逆順境上青J36nB369_p0966c04白紛然,憎愛路邊是非交錯,而今世事已周、攀緣已J36nB369_p0966c05斷、四大幻緣已散、五蘊浮雲已空,父母未生前一段J36nB369_p0966c06風光正好識取。」擊拂子:「斯門極樂超餘彼,孰謂西方J36nB369_p0966c07別有津?」
J36nB369_p0966c08張門楊孺人對靈小參。「諸佛秘密,列祖淵猷,無論聖J36nB369_p0966c09凡智愚、緇白男女、草木昆蟲、情無情類,皆應有分而J36nB369_p0966c10不能證得者,為無始以來至於今生,妄情厚如萬疊J36nB369_p0966c11冰崖,疑根深於千年暗室,致使生死遷訛,昇沉莫測J36nB369_p0966c12也。有者道:『生必有死,聚必有散,晝必有夜,夢必有覺,J36nB369_p0966c13捨生趣生而無有滅。』此世人之常見也。有者道:『生則J36nB369_p0966c14五欲歡娛,萬般適意,命終身壞,氣化清風,肉化為泥,J36nB369_p0966c15一滅永滅而無有生。』此凡庸之斷見也。殊不知生無J36nB369_p0966c16生相,故雖生而不常;滅無滅性,故雖滅而不斷。是故J36nB369_p0966c17釋迦世尊降王宮、往雪山,幻也;成正覺、轉法輪,幻也;J36nB369_p0966c18坐塵剎、度眾生,幻也;示生死、入涅槃,幻也。是故楊孺J36nB369_p0966c19人報軀有漏,至性無移,生尊貴家,培彝倫種,厚德成J36nB369_p0966c20鄰,深仁育物,事上則穆穆恂恂,撫下則諄諄切切,兼J36nB369_p0966c21能修習善法以求佛道,極其志力,隨所堪任,如斯等J36nB369_p0966c22事亦皆於夢幻中成辦也。大眾!一切諸法既皆是幻,J36nB369_p0966c23秖如楊孺人脂粉態除、兒女情斷,如何是金剛常住J36nB369_p0966c24不朽底?森森玉樹枝枝秀,也勝金沙坐寶蓮。」
J36nB369_p0966c25莫門智日對靈小參。「遠山疊疊含青,流水村村映碧,J36nB369_p0966c26風光盡在目前,何用紛馳求覓?若是得底人,達去來,J36nB369_p0966c27如春燕赴時、秋鴻適候;了生死,猶晝而夜、自夢而醒,J36nB369_p0966c28八面玲瓏,絕無向背。所以,諸佛以此風光出世利生、J36nB369_p0966c29諸人以此風光遠塵離垢、諸人於諸佛光中展其妙J36nB369_p0966c30用、諸佛於諸人光裏奮其全提,各各無差,彼彼無雜。J36nB369_p0967a01恁麼,則朱孺人亦據此段風光為男子相也得、作女J36nB369_p0967a02人身也得、生安養也得、入娑婆也得,逆順施為俱得J36nB369_p0967a03自在。其或纖疑未遣、餘惑尚存,不妨聽山僧重說偈J36nB369_p0967a04言:生從何來死何去?金毛師子草裏擂,翻轉虛空背J36nB369_p0967a05面看,有意氣時添意氣。」
J36nB369_p0967a06自由尼對靈小參。豎拂子。「上至諸佛,下及群生,皆有J36nB369_p0967a07此事,原無修證,本絕悟迷,聖凡量泯,男女相鎔,極天J36nB369_p0967a08地而久長,亙古今而輝鑑,但得時中受用,自揚劫外J36nB369_p0967a09家風。所以自由永菴主夙具金剛不壞之性,示現恬J36nB369_p0967a10和柔順之身,端本倫常,究心出世,鴻慈導物,至德維J36nB369_p0967a11時。訓於家,言言藥石;律於己,凜凜冰霜。有時白髮盈J36nB369_p0967a12頭,與燒菴人賡諧古調;有時田衣挂體,同劉銕磨互J36nB369_p0967a13唱陽春;有時人境俱忘,千機不借;有時正偏兼到,一J36nB369_p0967a14切現成。紅塵浩浩,恒奮全提;夢宅悠悠,常說正法。六J36nB369_p0967a15字洪名,畢生不改,報謝怡然,得大自在。此謂得底人J36nB369_p0967a16於生死海裏逆順總宜,煩惱場中作大佛事。山僧到J36nB369_p0967a17者裏,通身是眼也看他不見,通身是口也說他不著。J36nB369_p0967a18雖然,欲識桃源別有乾坤,須看漁翁通箇消息。」良久,J36nB369_p0967a19「半夜石人憨睡起,一場好夢與誰言?」
J36nB369_p0967a20祁門朱孺人對靈小參。「春風和暢,花柳爭妍,紅塵人J36nB369_p0967a21語,綠樹鶯啼,言言悉具圓常,句句皆談真實,明明標J36nB369_p0967a22向上機,處處廓歸元路,迷之為生死元首,悟之謂菩J36nB369_p0967a23提正因。」拈拄杖:「者裏會得,悟迷無異,生死同岐,始終J36nB369_p0967a24交徹,淨穢該羅,聖凡之相虛無,男女之名寂滅。恁麼J36nB369_p0967a25則孺人淑順持身,慈仁啟後,夢幻自知,堅心出世,說J36nB369_p0967a26箇不生不滅、無去無來也得,說箇即心即佛、即妄即J36nB369_p0967a27真也得。故知孺人六十年前生則未嘗生也,六十年J36nB369_p0967a28後死亦未嘗死也。正當今日,是生耶?是死耶?百年大J36nB369_p0967a29夢醒槐陰,就路還家始得妙。」
J36nB369_p0967a30何母趙恭人對靈小參。「盡大地是妙菩提路,無有差J36nB369_p0967b01別境界;盡十方是大解脫門,無有大小戶牖。諸佛聖J36nB369_p0967b02人不多一點,蜎飛蝡動不少一絲,無量劫來亦無間J36nB369_p0967b03隔,秖為一切人根性不等、智識昏迷,有眼不曾覷著、J36nB369_p0967b04有足不曾踏著,三途六道逐隊淪形、九有四生隨群J36nB369_p0967b05轉步,以至千萬劫流變遷延無有了期。若是箇信力J36nB369_p0967b06堅固、正眼洞開者,一眼覷透、一腳跨入,縱橫逆順各J36nB369_p0967b07得其宜,方為了事漢,乃名到家人。」豎拂子,「還見麼?」擊J36nB369_p0967b08一下,「還聞麼?若從者裏見得分明、聽得清楚,四聖尊J36nB369_p0967b09榮夢裏非真,六凡名號鏡中何有?所以,何母趙恭人J36nB369_p0967b10靈根夙具、淑順維身,向者裏覷得透徹、踏得穩當,隨J36nB369_p0967b11順世緣、成就世事,上以奉重、下以撫訓,機用千奇、玲J36nB369_p0967b12瓏八面,到今日塵緣永謝、情境已忘,所有靈光獨耀、J36nB369_p0967b13本來面目全彰,有箇現成受用底三昧。還知麼?樂邦J36nB369_p0967b14好景知多少?水滿金沙月滿汀。」
J36nB369_p0967b15瓚林奕侍者對靈小參。出「離生死一著,中無委曲,最J36nB369_p0967b16為簡要,非因假借,不墮功勳,須是識量高古。參學眼J36nB369_p0967b17正向此中有語話分,與尊貴人有相見分,便識自己J36nB369_p0967b18本地風光,從來不曾絲毫欠闕。故瓚林侍者夙緣有J36nB369_p0967b19在,本志未忘,知此一著已極明了,惟人自肯,不由提J36nB369_p0967b20掖。所以,尊卑愛敬,穆穆可觀,晝夜辛勤,孜孜匪懈。知J36nB369_p0967b21家中分明古意,細究根源;愛堂裏淡泊真風,渾忘彼J36nB369_p0967b22此。將謂整飾門頭,支撐戶底,五山競秀,十笏爭奇,責J36nB369_p0967b23任在爾躬。不道急流轉棹,忙裏抽身,致使尊長為此J36nB369_p0967b24懷憂,路人因而太息。大眾!到者箇田地,若作有聚有J36nB369_p0967b25散商量,閃電光中莫非舊識;若作無生無滅理論,杜J36nB369_p0967b26鵑聲裏盡是生涯。若謂生死涅槃,捏作一塊,遍野花J36nB369_p0967b27飛,春光有辨;若謂修齡短算,縫罅難齊,冰壺月映,夜J36nB369_p0967b28色無分。此時若有箇人出來大笑一聲,可使瓚林侍J36nB369_p0967b29者截斷生死根株,跳出聖凡窠臼。如其不然,待山僧J36nB369_p0967b30再喚之。」遂高聲曰:「瓚林,瓚林,與君說盡十分話,莫負J36nB369_p0967c01平生一片心。」
J36nB369_p0967c02德璋、德長薦母,請對靈小參。「空中鳥跡,水底魚蹤,覓J36nB369_p0967c03即知君不可得。麥中有麵,沙裏無油,自古至今,幾人J36nB369_p0967c04肯信?說箇旅泊三界,示一往還,如將極樂意,說與正J36nB369_p0967c05愁人。」拊案一下,曰:「此是從上不傳之秘密,佛祖未曾J36nB369_p0967c06開示、從今開示,眾生未曾悟入、從今悟入。所以趙母J36nB369_p0967c07王孺人亦從者裏信入,於聲色叢中坐臥不留觀聽,J36nB369_p0967c08紅塵堆裏遊行毫無沾染,生則應物而來,死則隨緣J36nB369_p0967c09而去,此界他方不隔一塵,男身女相彼此無分。山僧J36nB369_p0967c10武林轉棹、語水停舟,孝眷慇懃申請為孺人說箇到J36nB369_p0967c11家消息,銀蟾散彩三秋夜,桂子風吹滿路香。」
J36nB369_p0967c12朱弦菴居士對靈小參。「真三昧海本無出沒,大解脫J36nB369_p0967c13門豈有去來?不以染淨而有差別,不以真俗而為分J36nB369_p0967c14岐,所以真人無位,機應普現。相無定相,似寶鏡之對J36nB369_p0967c15妍媸;形無定形,如光影之任短長。雖如是,普現無邊J36nB369_p0967c16自在,恒於三昧不起念、不作意也。故弦菴居士大雄J36nB369_p0967c17叮囑:過來洙泗,淵源流出,為國為民,入泥入水。世境J36nB369_p0967c18遷訛,歷患難而不變;澄懷有素,隨舒卷而自如。一切J36nB369_p0967c19不思議事、一切處普現,依幻出生也,花攢上苑;隨幻J36nB369_p0967c20而滅也,葉落歸根。亦惟常在三昧,不假思惟,無造作J36nB369_p0967c21也。到者裏,佛法、世法盡情颺下,西方、東方無可拘留,J36nB369_p0967c22聖位、凡位莫測其端。有傍不甘底出來,為居士指箇J36nB369_p0967c23品位看。」良久,曰:「鐵馬嘶開空劫夢,金牛踏破故園春,J36nB369_p0967c24施為不用重斟酌,月上珊瑚樹樹新。」
J36nB369_p0967c25悟禪尼薦徒覺初,請對靈小參。「末山頂上,芳草離離;J36nB369_p0967c26鐵磨堂前,秋風颯颯。你道只待㘞地一聲,管取肅清J36nB369_p0967c27門徑。故周旋叢林,是非不顧;把關密練,寒暑渾忘。可J36nB369_p0967c28惜本志未酬,草鞋根斷。」拈拄杖:「者裏一刀兩段便同J36nB369_p0967c29本得,何慮向上一路千聖不傳?」卓一下。「此曲調最古,J36nB369_p0967c30可以繼先祖。」
J36nB369_p0968a01尼洞明成菴主對靈小參。豎拂子。「者是光明摩尼寶J36nB369_p0968a02王,但要人認得真、用得好,無有一法不從者裏出生、J36nB369_p0968a03無有纖疑不從者裏除斷,聖凡迷悟不能隔礙、生死J36nB369_p0968a04虛妄無所拘遲,一一順時、一一合妙。所以,洞明成公J36nB369_p0968a05心志鐵石、貞操松筠,知身夢宅、視世郵亭,裂情愛網、J36nB369_p0968a06出煩惱家,尋師為道、克敬惟勤,求友同參寸陰寶惜,J36nB369_p0968a07說真實言、行真實事,閒向修多羅中細細咀嚼,已知J36nB369_p0968a08黃面老人生平不曾說著一字,後於山僧棒下爆散J36nB369_p0968a09疑團,將使總持規步綿綿、末山門墻岸岸,說必行到、J36nB369_p0968a10行必說到,也是最初認得清徹、用得恰好,以不負生J36nB369_p0968a11平之志,故能臨岐撒手,翛然而逝,不歌行路難也。」以J36nB369_p0968a12拂子擊案,曰:「山僧今日將他參底、證底、說底、行底一J36nB369_p0968a13擊粉碎了也,諸仁眼裏看著、耳裏聽著、腳下踏著,惟J36nB369_p0968a14恐輕心取用秪在皮膚,其真實處還辨得麼?無生番J36nB369_p0968a15出新豐調,徹見清音正始來。」
J36nB369_p0968a16為朱四可對靈小參。「一口汲盡西江,半夜踏翻溺器,J36nB369_p0968a17無毛銕鷂撞破天羅,焦尾大蟲衝開地網。此箇如幻J36nB369_p0968a18大解脫法門,人人皆能究竟,箇箇可以悟入,秪要生J36nB369_p0968a19死岸頭立得腳穩,向此門中出沒無拘、遊戲自在也。J36nB369_p0968a20恭惟四可居士建功立業,為國成家,栽培異類,暖日J36nB369_p0968a21融融,攝受同人,春風𩖼𩖼,冰霜凜冽處不以為難,水J36nB369_p0968a22月分明時自以為得,所以再造梵宮,受囑不忘疇昔,J36nB369_p0968a23歸重知識,傾心已擅當年,有時當機顯露,事絕今時,J36nB369_p0968a24有時覿面施呈,理超格外,生死為念,垂老不衰,以道J36nB369_p0968a25為懷,干城有頌,故於啟手啟足之時,笑談自若,委蛻J36nB369_p0968a26怡然。蓋八十餘年來,宛轉偏圓,縱橫施設,世間出世,J36nB369_p0968a27能事所畢,如一珠中萬形俱現,如一塵內諸法全彰,J36nB369_p0968a28亦於此大解脫法中顯大機、發大用也。而此中聖凡J36nB369_p0968a29迷悟、生死去來、是非得喪、榮辱昇沈總著不得。山僧J36nB369_p0968a30到者裏,縱有十方虛空之口,能吼無邊法界之音,說J36nB369_p0968b01其根源,也無交涉。雖然,於著不得處不妨敲𢾩,沒交J36nB369_p0968b02涉時正好商量,空中石虎從風嘯,水底金烏遶樹飛,J36nB369_p0968b03金碧畫堂春夢醒,長安雖好不如歸。」
