J36nB359_p0628a05順治己丑秋,在青龍隆福寺受請入院。
J36nB359_p0628a06三門。「門牆岸岸,關鎖重重,當陽一路,誰敢通風?」以拄J36nB359_p0628a07杖畫一畫,云:「坐斷十方猶點額,密移一步看飛龍。」
J36nB359_p0628a08佛殿。「黃閣簾啟,紫羅帳開。正恁麼時,如何相見?撒手J36nB359_p0628a09歸來無一物,借婆衫子拜婆年。」遂禮三拜。
J36nB359_p0628a10祖堂。「先覺後覺,以心印心,祖彌不了,殃及兒孫。如何J36nB359_p0628a11是不了的事?團圞共坐忘尊貴,遞代相傳無盡燈。」
J36nB359_p0628a12方丈。「先老人在此大開爐韝,密運鉗錘,敲骨打髓,烹J36nB359_p0628a13煆佛祖,抽釘拔楔,陶鑄聖凡,於是家聲遠播,慧命永J36nB359_p0628a14繼。不肖到來又如何施設?」卓拄杖,云:「看取令行時。」
J36nB359_p0628a15上堂。拈疏,云:「見麼?魔外以之肅清,正法以之久住。其J36nB359_p0628a16或未見,仰煩宣出。」指法座,云:「坐斷毘盧頂,不稟釋迦J36nB359_p0628a17文。且如何行履?」拈拄杖,云:「竿木隨身,逢場作戲去也。」J36nB359_p0628a18遂陞座。拈香,云:「此一瓣香,包羅今古,充塞乾坤,祝延J36nB359_p0628a19聖躬,堯日與佛日增輝,金輪共法輪常轉。此一瓣香,J36nB359_p0628a20為雲、為蓋、為翰、為屏,專為文武尊官、護法居士同證J36nB359_p0628a21現前般若,共明向上真宗。此一瓣香,味似伊蘭,惡如J36nB359_p0628a22鳩毒,賤則分文不值,貴則傾國難酬。今第三回供養J36nB359_p0628a23前住弁山白雀本寺開山傳曹洞正宗第二十八世J36nB359_p0628a24瑞白雪大和尚,用酬法乳之恩。」就座。鏡大師白椎竟,J36nB359_p0628a25乃云:「青松夾道,全彰本地風光;翠竹搖空,獨露當入J36nB359_p0628a26境界。象王峰鼻孔撩天,獅子崖爪牙踞地。向者裏會J36nB359_p0628a27得,說甚向上、向下?第一、第二?一任驅雷掣電,棒月呵J36nB359_p0628a28雲,貶斥釋迦、彌勒,指揮文殊、普賢,或時塵中混跡,或J36nB359_p0628a29時炭裏藏身,坐徹威音那畔,澂澂滿目煙光,默照空J36nB359_p0628a30劫已前,湛湛一壺風月,自然皇風浩蕩,佛日騰輝,踹J36nB359_p0628b01拱無為,垂衣自治,高低嶽瀆共轉根本法輪,鱗甲羽J36nB359_p0628b02毛同現色身三昧。雖然,只如開堂祝聖一句作麼生J36nB359_p0628b03道?月籠丹桂遠,星拱北辰高。」結椎,下座。
J36nB359_p0628b04薦師,請上堂。「青蘿夤緣,直上寒松之頂;白雲淡泞,出J36nB359_p0628b05沒太虛之中。萬法本閑,惟人自鬧。大眾!既爾萬法本J36nB359_p0628b06閑,只如太虛上人去世一周,甚處安身立命?者裏曾J36nB359_p0628b07得無凡無聖、無來無去,從佛界而入魔界、轉薉邦而J36nB359_p0628b08入淨邦,了生死於不相干之地、明佛祖於覷不破之J36nB359_p0628b09機,無德不酬、無恩不報。更有超群越格,如何舉似?夢J36nB359_p0628b10破玉人天乍曉,芙蓉江上笑秋風。」
J36nB359_p0628b11上堂。「今朝九月九,端的從頭剖。桂蕊暗飄香,菊花笑J36nB359_p0628b12破口。萬象悉騰歡,森羅咸稽首。玉鳳嶺頭鳴,泥牛浪J36nB359_p0628b13裏走。擬欲問如何,翻身藏北斗。」
J36nB359_p0628b14上堂。「秋風冷,落葉寒,江上漁翁把釣竿,金鱗不現空J36nB359_p0628b15垂餌,且唱別腔菩薩蠻。昔有尼問趙州:『如何是密密J36nB359_p0628b16意?』州於腕上一捏,尼云:『和尚猶有者箇在。』州云:『卻是J36nB359_p0628b17你有者箇在。』」乃云:「趙州古佛不免被者尼僧勘破,尼J36nB359_p0628b18雖具眼,又被趙州將箇屎彈子換卻,檢點將來,二俱J36nB359_p0628b19龍頭蛇尾,總不如東明菴主到山也不問密密意、也J36nB359_p0628b20不作者箇會,特為設齋供眾,卻有些好處。且道好在J36nB359_p0628b21甚麼處?大家喫得彭脝飽,運水搬柴絕是非。」
J36nB359_p0628b22至樂平寺,請上堂。拈香,云:「此一瓣香,同生弁岳,共產J36nB359_p0628b23苕溪,金錘擊之無痕,玉斧劈之不破,供養圓寂樂平J36nB359_p0628b24堂上淑安法兄大和尚,伏願甘露垂滋於大地,弘音J36nB359_p0628b25再震於群蒙。」就座,白椎竟,乃云:「談道談禪,大似白日J36nB359_p0628b26說夢;論偏論正,亦是開眼尿床。勿容展事投機,那許J36nB359_p0628b27承言滯句?所以,弁山到者裏不敢加箇元字腳。何故?J36nB359_p0628b28屋裏人只好說屋裏事,不可向外打野榸去也。大眾J36nB359_p0628b29且道:如何是屋裏事?」良久,云:「夜明簾外家風古,寶鏡J36nB359_p0628b30堂前瑞氣新。」
J36nB359_p0628c01結制,上堂。「掀翻彌勒樓,三際平等;折卻威音殿,一道J36nB359_p0628c02清虛。了無那畔,今時誰立凡名聖號?盡大地是箇解J36nB359_p0628c03脫門,遍虛空是箇光明藏,經行掉臂不離其中,謦咳J36nB359_p0628c04屈伸總在裏許,說箇三月安居、九旬禁足,大似無繩J36nB359_p0628c05自縛。若也未到恁麼田地,不如歇卻驢腳、合取狗口,J36nB359_p0628c06拗折拄杖、放下蒲團,且向弁山堂中三七日內大死J36nB359_p0628c07一番,然後甦醒過來,始知不汝欺也。若是詐明頭、掠J36nB359_p0628c08虛漢,今日決不放過。莫有格外英靈不入者箇保社J36nB359_p0628c09者麼?出來,木上座為汝證據。」問:「高懸缽袋,宴坐華林,J36nB359_p0628c10如何是真機獨露?」師云:「彌勒峰高千萬丈。」進云:「為甚J36nB359_p0628c11星分溪澗白,露灑竹松明?」師云:「獅嵒哮吼驚天地。」進J36nB359_p0628c12云:「只為權衡密運,佛祖罔窺,作麼生是正令當行句?」J36nB359_p0628c13師云:「石女胸中拔楔。」進云:「一言包括乾坤外,佛祖齊J36nB359_p0628c14教立下風。」師云:「木人眼裏抽筋。」
J36nB359_p0628c15上堂。「今朝仲冬初一,現前好箇消息,漫空凍雨霏霏,J36nB359_p0628c16遍野松煙幕幕,突出無翼蟭螟,撞倒千層鐵壁,嚇得J36nB359_p0628c17帝釋宮中日月無光,惹得空生嵒畔天花狼藉。大眾!J36nB359_p0628c18且道是甚麼人境界?出來試說看。」問:「濟下宗風師已J36nB359_p0628c19露,洞上真機又若何?」師云:「雪裏梅花遍界香。」進云:「恁J36nB359_p0628c20麼則洞宗密旨當陽舉,古路還家得意多。」師云:「大蟲J36nB359_p0628c21看水磨。」進云:「看破龍華親切句,始知彌勒更幽深。」師J36nB359_p0628c22云:「夜半放烏雞。」又僧問,師云:「且住。大凡問答,譬如舞J36nB359_p0628c23劍相似,劍劍之下須有出身之路;若無出身之路,畢J36nB359_p0628c24竟喪於劍下。若是具眼作家,句句之中須有超脫之J36nB359_p0628c25機;如無超脫之機,決定死於句中。所以道:機不離位,J36nB359_p0628c26墮在毒海;情存背向,見有偏枯。到者裏,直須機絕廉J36nB359_p0628c27纖、語無滲漏,自然金聲玉振、電捲星馳,示一機千峰J36nB359_p0628c28落色,吐一語萬派朝宗,可為佛祖爪牙、人天標幟,克J36nB359_p0628c29紹真乘,提持向上。大眾!還會向上事麼?」卓拄杖,云:「佛J36nB359_p0628c30祖未生空劫外,正偏不落有無機。」
J36nB359_p0629a01上堂。「諸佛心內眾生,新新作佛;眾生心中諸佛,念念J36nB359_p0629a02證真。」豎拂,云:「昨夜無舌人廝罵,無手人交拳,劈面一J36nB359_p0629a03揮,把舜若多神鼻孔打落半邊,彌勒峰呵呵大笑。且J36nB359_p0629a04道笑箇甚麼?座中亦有江南客,休向樽前唱鷓鴣。」
J36nB359_p0629a05上堂。舉拂,云:「龜毛上座為諸人說了也,何必弁山沸J36nB359_p0629a06脣鼓舌?說黃論黑,堪作甚麼?是以風柯月渚咸提玅J36nB359_p0629a07旨,煙島雲林共演真常,牆壁瓦礫悉皆發機,蚯蚓蝦J36nB359_p0629a08蟆猶可助道,塵說、剎說、熾然說無間歇。若也未委,更J36nB359_p0629a09聽伽陀。今朝有信士,特請為敷宣,山僧舌頭短,唯憑J36nB359_p0629a10拂子力,出廣長舌相,遍覆三千界,轉無上法輪,說甚J36nB359_p0629a11深般若,普令見聞者,悉發菩提心,人人知本有,箇箇J36nB359_p0629a12悟真常,艸木及昆虫,無不獲利益,欲說斯因緣,窮劫J36nB359_p0629a13莫能盡。」喝一喝,云:「若無者一喝,幾乎葛藤遍地。」
J36nB359_p0629a14元旦,上堂。「旭日初晴,雲霞散彩;曉風乍暖,梅柳生輝。J36nB359_p0629a15直得野老謳歌,樵人舞蹈。寶珠池畔,臣退位以朝君;J36nB359_p0629a16花石澗邊,子轉身而就父。蜎飛蝡動,咸承化育之恩;J36nB359_p0629a17卉木叢林,均賴帡幪之德。一入有慶,兆民賴之。且道J36nB359_p0629a18是那一人?昨從鬧市頭邊過,處處文明賀聖朝。」
J36nB359_p0629a19上堂。「至道無難,惟嫌揀擇,但莫憎愛,洞然明白。堯舜J36nB359_p0629a20令人聞之而皆喜,桀紂令人聞之而皆怒,此揀擇也。J36nB359_p0629a21釋迦布髮掩泥而供然燈,調達推山驅象而害瞿曇,J36nB359_p0629a22此憎愛也。如何得不揀擇、不憎愛去?今吳興潘居士J36nB359_p0629a23飯僧,攢菜每人一碗,嚫錢每人一分,可謂財法二施J36nB359_p0629a24等無差別。既無差別,於中還有揀擇、憎愛也無?更聽J36nB359_p0629a25一偈:梅萼嫩,柳芽長,昨夜東風度短牆,叵耐枝頭老J36nB359_p0629a26百舌,聲聲漏洩好春光。」打噴嚏,云:「今日有人說我。」
J36nB359_p0629a27上堂。舉拂,云:「者一句子甚是爽快,甚是直捷,儻或回J36nB359_p0629a28頭轉腦,莫怪弁山牽枝引蔓去也。」舉:「仰山夢入兜率J36nB359_p0629a29內院,居第二座,眾請第二座說法,山自白椎云:『摩訶J36nB359_p0629a30衍法離四句,絕百非,諦聽!諦聽!』昨夜山僧亦作一夢,J36nB359_p0629b01夢見阿耨達池龍王請我赴齋,齋畢,復問:『威音王的J36nB359_p0629b02父名甚麼?』者箇問頭甚是奇特,山僧不敢孤負他。遂J36nB359_p0629b03震威一喝,龍王作禮而退。忽然覺來,只見遍地好雪。J36nB359_p0629b04大眾!且道山僧夢的與仰山夢的是同?是別?」
J36nB359_p0629b05解制,上堂。橫按杖,云:「恁麼時,象王攢眉,獅子結舌,黃J36nB359_p0629b06頭碧眼兀堆堆膽慴魂驚。」靠杖,云:「恁麼時,盲龜踊躍,J36nB359_p0629b07跛鱉騰歡,狸奴白牯一箇箇放光動地。正謂把住也J36nB359_p0629b08在我、放行也在我,放行、把住且置,山門外正中亭子J36nB359_p0629b09要與諸人索九十日飯錢。若酬對得,一任虎穴龍宮J36nB359_p0629b10橫行直撞;如酬對不得,弁山為你別通一路。」卓拄杖,J36nB359_p0629b11云:「牢關擊碎坦然平,祖道何曾涉戰爭?風月擔頭新J36nB359_p0629b12活計,不妨城市玩花燈。」擲拄杖,云:「看腳下。」
J36nB359_p0629b13上堂。「天命之謂性,清淨法身也;率性之謂道,圓滿報J36nB359_p0629b14身也;修道之謂教,千百億化身也。」乃云:「玅喜者般說J36nB359_p0629b15話,大似截鶴續鳧、夷山盈壑,簡點將來猶未盡善。弁J36nB359_p0629b16山又不然。」揮拂,云:「風娜娜兮,柳展修眉;雨濛濛兮,花J36nB359_p0629b17開笑口。常把瑤琴月下彈,子期不是我真友。」
J36nB359_p0629b18上堂。「弁山無作造,一味信口道,曾不論正偏,那復話J36nB359_p0629b19玄要?毀之而不瞋,譽之而不笑,倦則放身眠,興來唱J36nB359_p0629b20箇調,生平肯為人,好心無好報。」舉拂,云:「大眾!者箇喚J36nB359_p0629b21作甚麼?果是楊修見幼婦,方能一覽便知妙。」
J36nB359_p0629b22刺史姚公請上堂。「大象隱於無形,故不見而見;大音J36nB359_p0629b23匿於希聲,故不聞而聞。」拈拄杖,云:「者箇是形象,作麼J36nB359_p0629b24生見?」卓拄杖,云:「者箇是音聲,作麼生聞?縱饒騎聲蓋J36nB359_p0629b25色,括古囊今,猶是光影門頭事;直須捩轉機關,別通J36nB359_p0629b26消息。」復高聲云:「大眾!看看!拄杖子化作無量壽如來,J36nB359_p0629b27具無量相好,統領無量眷屬,充滿無量國土,宣說無J36nB359_p0629b28量法門,教化無量眾生,一時同得阿耨多羅三藐三J36nB359_p0629b29菩提。」喝一喝,云:「且道無量壽如來又向甚處去也?今J36nB359_p0629b30日護法請山僧及大眾齋。」
J36nB359_p0629c01保病,上堂。「連日雨何多?今朝晴且霽。風回柳岸兮,綠J36nB359_p0629c02線輕飛;春入桃源兮,紅霞亂墜。黃鳥緡蠻兮,山色空J36nB359_p0629c03濛;白雲縹緲兮,谿光豔麗。寄語遊人歸去來,莫教狼J36nB359_p0629c04藉祖師意。既曰狼藉,祖師意在何處?」拈香,云:「揭諦揭J36nB359_p0629c05諦,波羅揭諦,普願災障悉消除,現前施主增福慧。」
J36nB359_p0629c06比丘尼、優婆夷請上堂。「澂江清淺時,白鷺和煙島,良J36nB359_p0629c07哉觀世音,全身入荒艸。」豎拂,云:「觀世音菩薩出荒艸J36nB359_p0629c08來也。應以比丘尼身得度者,即現比丘尼身而為說J36nB359_p0629c09法;應以優婆夷身得度者,即現優婆夷身而為說法。」J36nB359_p0629c10揮拂,云:「觀世音菩薩又入荒艸去也。來去且置,只如J36nB359_p0629c11觀音大士有三十二應,普利群機,今日獨現兩身者,J36nB359_p0629c12何也?」拊案,云:「近水樓臺先得月,向陽花木易逢春。」
J36nB359_p0629c13佛川克歸和尚請上堂。「喜鵲簷前噪,知有好吉兆,特J36nB359_p0629c14地啟雙扉,佛川法姪到。頭角勢稜稜,英風聲浩浩,殷J36nB359_p0629c15勤請敷宣,教我如何道?胡亂說些兒,任憑明眼笑。大J36nB359_p0629c16眾!且道笑箇甚麼?咄!好似大蟲戴紙帽。」
J36nB359_p0629c17東禪憨石和尚請上堂。「判義分科,座主見解;拈椎豎J36nB359_p0629c18拂,衲子常情;花言巧語,乞丐生涯;掩室杜口,鬼家活J36nB359_p0629c19計。雖則國有憲章,叵耐家無常禮。今是東禪法姪特J36nB359_p0629c20請弁山為眾說法,大似逼石女生兒,教雄雞下蛋,不J36nB359_p0629c21免杜譔一偈,聊塞眾聽:無孔笛中吹折柳,離腔曲裏J36nB359_p0629c22落梅花,箇般音韻阿誰曉?體態風流出當家。」
J36nB359_p0629c23祈壽,請上堂。「目前無法,意在目前;不是目前法,非耳J36nB359_p0629c24目之所。到今天氣晴明,鳥聲和暢,群芳鬥麗,萬卉爭J36nB359_p0629c25奇,是目前法?不是目前法?道是目前法,埋沒夾山;道J36nB359_p0629c26不是目前法,孤負弁山。如體悉得出,管教變頑石作J36nB359_p0629c27真金,轉關煞為吉曜,不祈福而百福駢臻,不迎祥而J36nB359_p0629c28千祥并集,自然響和聲順,老懷少安。更有子承父業J36nB359_p0629c29作麼生道?水向石邊流出冷,風從花衷過來香。」
J36nB359_p0629c30上堂。「踢翻琉璃缾,阿誰寶惜?擊碎珊瑚樹,遍地光生。J36nB359_p0630a01撒珍珠於紫羅帳裏,砌瑪瑙於碧玉階前,不守功勳,J36nB359_p0630a02渾忘尊貴。所以道:夜明簾外快便翻身,荊棘林中那J36nB359_p0630a03容住足?直須作而無作、為而無為,世法、佛法并做一J36nB359_p0630a04團,者邊、那邊混融一致。」豎拂,云:「正與麼時,且道是阿J36nB359_p0630a05誰分上事?玉兔月中生彩鳳,金雞架上產祥麟。」
J36nB359_p0630a06圓攝五七,請上堂。「諸佛諸祖遞代出興,授受相承,○J36nB359_p0630a07也只為者箇;天下老凍儂興慈運悲,接物利生,○也J36nB359_p0630a08只為者箇;山僧今於人天眾前花擘一上,○也只為J36nB359_p0630a09者箇;以及我圓攝遍公全身放下,不動聲色,入寂光J36nB359_p0630a10三昧,唱無腔曲調,○也只為者箇。若是眼內有筋、皮J36nB359_p0630a11下有血的,兩頭截斷,中間不立,左之右之,頭頭合轍,J36nB359_p0630a12生也死也,處處逢緣,萬機普赴而不撓其神,千難殊J36nB359_p0630a13對而不干其慮,此猶是階級邊事,作麼生得不落階J36nB359_p0630a14級去?鐵牛撞倒無生國,透出虛空外面行。」
J36nB359_p0630a15清明,上堂。「古云:盡大地是箇解脫門。既是解脫門,或J36nB359_p0630a16佛、或祖,或凡、或聖,或士、農、工、商,總是一家。既是一家,J36nB359_p0630a17經行坐臥、喫飯穿衣、迎賓待客,總在裏許。既在裏許,J36nB359_p0630a18豈有緇素之分?既無緇素之分,正好挺身竭力,各出J36nB359_p0630a19手眼撐持門戶。大眾,門在何處?」畫一畫,云:「年年最喜J36nB359_p0630a20春三月,嫩綠新紅看不徹,只知社舞與村歌,那管堯J36nB359_p0630a21仁與舜德?昨日煙分寒食時,今朝雨灑清明節,知不J36nB359_p0630a22知?瞥不瞥?血淚染成紅杜鵑,紙灰飛作白蝴蝶。」
J36nB359_p0630a23送法衣,請上堂。提起袈裟角,云:「者箇不是大庾嶺頭J36nB359_p0630a24得的,亦非雞足山中捧的。」顧左右,云:「還知來處麼?」放J36nB359_p0630a25下袈裟角,云:「玉尺量就,金剪裁成,明明結角難尋,密J36nB359_p0630a26密鍼鋒不露。展則包羅法界,蓋覆乾坤,百千萬億人J36nB359_p0630a27天咸皆稽首;收則須彌倒卓,日月潛輝,九十六種外J36nB359_p0630a28道悉不知名。只如不收不展又如何?」復提起袈裟角,J36nB359_p0630a29云:「寶印當空玅,重重錦縫開。」
J36nB359_p0630a30上堂。「桃紅李白,山青水綠,總是遮那境界;樵歌牧唱,J36nB359_p0630b01燕語鶯啼,無非真實圓通。處處堆山積嶽,時時塞壑J36nB359_p0630b02填溝。會得者,途中受用;不會者,世諦流布。諸公儻更J36nB359_p0630b03遲疑,弁山更有奇特句子。達磨不會,仲尼罔聞。今日J36nB359_p0630b04入天眾前一齊布施,未審有甚奇特?」以衣袖掩口,云:J36nB359_p0630b05「且待明日來,今朝牙齒痛。」
J36nB359_p0630b06上堂。舉拂,云:「者箇不從天降,不屬地生,不因人與。若J36nB359_p0630b07是箇▆▆▆▆底,舉起便知,拈起便曉,南贍部洲打J36nB359_p0630b08鼓,北俱盧洲上堂,東勝神洲持缽,西牛賀洲應供,須J36nB359_p0630b09彌頂上打眠,金剛際下洗腳,二聽莫聞,五目安睹?土J36nB359_p0630b10山焦,金石流而不熱;疾雷破,山風震海而不驚。諸禪J36nB359_p0630b11德!畢竟者箇拂子修何功德、獲何三昧,有如是機變,J36nB359_p0630b12如是神通?」拂一拂,云:「容顏甚奇玅,光明照十方。」
J36nB359_p0630b13保童男,請上堂。「梅子生香,新篁解籜,燕正呢喃,薰風J36nB359_p0630b14滿閣。弁山與麼舉揚,還有為人處麼?若有,道是那一J36nB359_p0630b15句?若無,治世語言、資生業等,皆於實相不相違背。如J36nB359_p0630b16檢點不出,山僧曾記得箇希有句子?切須諦聽:白馬J36nB359_p0630b17紫金鞍,騎出萬人看。問道誰家子?讀書人做官。」
J36nB359_p0630b18佛誕日,上堂。卓拄杖,云:「黃面瞿曇向山僧拄杖頭上J36nB359_p0630b19降生,放大光明,照十方界,地涌金蓮,自然捧足作獅J36nB359_p0630b20子吼聲,天上天下唯吾獨尊。山僧向他道:『住,住,少賣J36nB359_p0630b21弄。即今我龍華寺裏現前緇素壁立萬仞,氣宇如王,J36nB359_p0630b22以及鱗甲、羽毛、艸木、纖芥莫不皆具,者段光明彌綸J36nB359_p0630b23宇宙、烜赫古今,無始無終,無有欠少。』黃面瞿曇聞如J36nB359_p0630b24是說,只得滿面慚惶,藏竄無地。」喝一喝,云:「且道黃面J36nB359_p0630b25瞿曇向甚麼處去也?」擲拄杖,下座。

J36nB359_p0630c17上堂。舉:「百丈惟政禪師一日謂眾曰:『爾等為我開田,J36nB359_p0630c18我為爾等說大義。』眾開田了,卻請說大義,丈展兩手J36nB359_p0630c19示之。白雲端曰:『百丈說大義只止於此,當初再參馬J36nB359_p0630c20祖的向甚麼處去也?若言更有,未免與蛇畫足。』」師云:J36nB359_p0630c21「幾乎錯舉。又云:『作麼生見得百丈老人立地處?』」師云:J36nB359_p0630c22「路上說話,艸裏有人。乃良久,云:『客來無茶點,蒿湯當J36nB359_p0630c23禮儀。』」師云:「只恐遭人檢點。天童華云:『白雲要見百丈J36nB359_p0630c24再參馬祖的麼?直是好笑,笑須三十年。』」師云:「果然,果J36nB359_p0630c25然。又云:『作麼生見得百丈老人立地處也與笑三十J36nB359_p0630c26年?』」師云:「慣得其便。又云:『客來無茶點,蒿湯當禮儀,也J36nB359_p0630c27與笑三十年,三笑而九十年。』」師云:「說甚麼九十年?直J36nB359_p0630c28至而今笑未休。且道:還是笑白雲批判未當?為復別J36nB359_p0630c29有道理?諸人若檢點得出,山僧拄杖子兩手分付;苟J36nB359_p0630c30或未然,幾度醉歸明月夜,歌聲引出畫堂前。」師云:「明J36nB359_p0631a01眼宗師,天然猶在。」乃云:「白雲端公大似字經三寫,烏J36nB359_p0631a02焉成馬;天童華老正是其父攘羊,而子證之。仔細較J36nB359_p0631a03量將來,總是家醜外揚,未免傍觀者哂。弁山則不然,J36nB359_p0631a04白雲要見百丈再參馬祖的麼?」搖手云:「低聲,低聲。」又J36nB359_p0631a05云:「作麼生見得百丈老人立地處?」搖手云:「低聲,低聲。J36nB359_p0631a06客來無茶點,蒿湯當禮儀。」搖手云:「低聲,低聲。大眾會J36nB359_p0631a07麼?弁山搖手與古人笑的,且道是同是別?若檢點得J36nB359_p0631a08出,與你二兩粉;檢點不出,也與你二兩粉;一總不恁J36nB359_p0631a09麼,也與你二兩粉。因甚如此?而今宇宙清如鏡,等閒J36nB359_p0631a10莫把路為讎。」
J36nB359_p0631a11上堂。舉:「匡化禪師因僧問:『如何是佛法大意?』曰:『貧兒J36nB359_p0631a12抱子渡,恩愛逐波流。』」乃云:「古人吐一言半句,如金剛J36nB359_p0631a13屑、栗棘蓬,嚼之則口破、吞之則喉碎,只要機前領略、J36nB359_p0631a14言外知歸,那許逐境飄流、隨語生解?似者僧與麼問、J36nB359_p0631a15匡化與麼荅,者裏端的得出,不惟親見匡化,亦不辜J36nB359_p0631a16負山僧。若也遲疑,更為點破:貧兒抱子為君酬,一句J36nB359_p0631a17當陽截眾流;若向句中求解會,白雲萬里朢崖州。」
J36nB359_p0631a18解制,上堂。「江楓亂落清秋老,體露金風涼月皎,滿堂J36nB359_p0631a19衲子促行裝,頂笠腰包過別島。者山又朢那山高,路J36nB359_p0631a20債區區何日了?若是金毛獅子兒,焉肯隨群入荒艸?J36nB359_p0631a21快翻身,舒牙爪,一聲哮吼震乾坤,野干狐狼蹤跡杳。」J36nB359_p0631a22喝一喝,云:「還有不隨群逐隊者,出來道看。」問:「昨日車J36nB359_p0631a23馬橫行,為甚今朝水洩不通?」師云:「生鐵鑄成金毛吼。」J36nB359_p0631a24進云:「忽然捩轉天關、掀翻地軸又作麼生?」師云:「泥牛J36nB359_p0631a25變作玉波斯。」進云:「氣吞宇宙非臣種,敵勝還他獅子J36nB359_p0631a26兒。」師云:「謾謂青山行欲盡,面前更有一重關。」
J36nB359_p0631a27上堂。「一念普觀無量劫,無去無來亦無住。」卓拄杖,云:J36nB359_p0631a28「三千大千世界一時震動,所謂動、遍動、等遍動,起、遍J36nB359_p0631a29起、等遍起,涌、遍涌、等遍涌,震、遍震、等遍震,吼、遍吼、等J36nB359_p0631a30遍吼,擊、遍擊、等遍擊,乃至娑婆世界一切山陵、溪澗、J36nB359_p0631b01溝壑、坑坎、堆阜、瓦礫、荊棘,悉皆變作金銀、琉璃、硨磲、J36nB359_p0631b02瑪瑙,黃金布地,金繩界道,水鳥樹林皆演無生,蠢動J36nB359_p0631b03含靈入不退地。大眾!正恁麼時,且道是誰行履?」卓一J36nB359_p0631b04卓,云:「許多境界何來去,萬里天邊一鴈飛。」
J36nB359_p0631b05上堂。「山僧連日傷風咳嗽,抖摟得肚裏要箇元字腳J36nB359_p0631b06也無。今是抱拙設齋俵嚫,兼請為眾說法,弁山到者J36nB359_p0631b07裏直得措手不及。雖然如是,也有少許。大眾願聞麼?」J36nB359_p0631b08良久,咳嗽,云:「沒氣力。」下座。
J36nB359_p0631b09結制,送法衣,請上堂。「劫前關捩,五眼難窺;格外真機,J36nB359_p0631b10六通那曉?任使板齒生毛,莫教眼睛覷著,覷著則空J36nB359_p0631b11花亂墜,言之則語路參差。縱饒智過鶖子、辯踰滿慈,J36nB359_p0631b12有超佛越祖之機、具掀天揭地之用,未至正中亭好J36nB359_p0631b13與三十棒,更到華林園堪作甚麼?雖然,山僧今日只J36nB359_p0631b14得將死馬醫。」豎拂,云:「會麼?大爐韝中須親煉,始識真J36nB359_p0631b15金價不同。」舉:「阿難問迦葉尊者云:『世尊傳金襴袈裟J36nB359_p0631b16外復傳何物?』尊者召阿難,阿難應諾,尊者云:『倒卻門J36nB359_p0631b17前剎竿著。』」乃云:「迦葉尊者雖則隨機應變,看來猶未J36nB359_p0631b18盡善。有問弁山:『世尊傳金襴袈裟外復傳何物?』向道:J36nB359_p0631b19『者件僧伽黎是湖城盧居士供養山僧的。』大眾!且道J36nB359_p0631b20者一語是扶起剎竿耶?是倒卻剎竿耶?具眼者辯看。」J36nB359_p0631b21問:「虛空懸彩,平地興波,奇特相逢,如何開導?」師云:「呆J36nB359_p0631b22日正當空。」進云:「陷虎之機須毒手,活人眼目貴藏鋒。J36nB359_p0631b23如何是藏鋒句?」師云:「白雲籠弁嶽。」進云:「花石軒中意,J36nB359_p0631b24靈枝劫外春。」師云:「紫氣帶朝曛。」進云:「謝和尚答話。」師J36nB359_p0631b25云:「此地無金三十兩。」進云:「和尚也須放過一著。」師打,J36nB359_p0631b26云:「放過即不可。」
J36nB359_p0631b27上堂。「今有三種好事:天氣晴明,家家刈禾登場;堂中J36nB359_p0631b28七滿,箇箇眉橫鼻直。碧如禪人設供,大眾有齋喫。第J36nB359_p0631b29一薦得,位超諸聖;第二薦得,福備恒沙;第三薦得,拖J36nB359_p0631b30犁拽杷。且道利害在甚麼處?荷盡已無擎雨蓋,菊殘J36nB359_p0631c01猶有傲霜枝。」
J36nB359_p0631c02上堂。「事存函蓋合,理應箭鋒拄,承言須會宗,勿自立J36nB359_p0631c03規矩。」卓拄杖,云:「拄杖子化作賓頭盧尊者,一時應遍J36nB359_p0631c04四天下供,然後結跏趺坐而說偈言:『昨日晴兮今日J36nB359_p0631c05陰,殷勤舉似莫沉吟,修篁雨洗竿竿玉,落葉風吹片J36nB359_p0631c06片金。月映碧苕諸佛印,雲籠蒼弁祖師心,機前一句J36nB359_p0631c07誰能委?彌勒峰高亙古今。』弁山震威一喝,云:『也是閒J36nB359_p0631c08言語。』尊者被喝,走向諸人鼻孔裏去也。若能見得,行J36nB359_p0631c09腳事畢;儻或未然,各自歸單,摸取鼻孔看。」
J36nB359_p0631c10圓顱受戒,請上堂。「金刀舉起,削盡無明之艸;緇服披J36nB359_p0631c11時,便登解脫之門。本來離相離名,到此孰修孰證?直J36nB359_p0631c12得五眼頓開、一心朗徹,彈指頃點鐵成金,剎那間轉J36nB359_p0631c13凡為聖。所以道:浩浩塵中體一如,縱橫交互印毘盧,J36nB359_p0631c14全波是水波非水,全水成波水自殊。大眾!還信得及J36nB359_p0631c15麼?」顧左右,喝一喝,云:「莫教壞人家男女。」
J36nB359_p0631c16上堂。「香閣沉沉冷繡幃,佳人倚戶淚沾衣。堪憐異國J36nB359_p0631c17伶俜子,歲暮如何不見歸?歸不歸,真懊惱。庭前殘雪J36nB359_p0631c18日輪消,室內紅塵教誰掃?」
J36nB359_p0631c19冬至,值雪,上堂。「群陰剝盡,一陽復生,弱線工添於繡J36nB359_p0631c20紋,密室灰飛於律管,柳眼舒而冰河發燄,梅萼笑而J36nB359_p0631c21枯木回春,直得物物含新、人人納泰,千家樓閣氣騰J36nB359_p0631c22珂貝之輝,萬疊林巒光燦瓊瑤之色,普賢境界塞壑J36nB359_p0631c23盈渠,少室真機普天匝地。」召眾,云:「惟有華林拄杖子,J36nB359_p0631c24風光不藉四時催。」
J36nB359_p0631c25化主至,上堂。舉:「黃龍南禪師上堂云:『世間有五種不J36nB359_p0631c26易:第一、化者不易;第二、施者不易;第三、變生為熟者J36nB359_p0631c27不易;第四、端坐受供者不易。且道第五種不易是甚J36nB359_p0631c28麼人聻?』便下座。」乃云:「弁山不似黃龍小膽子,今日要J36nB359_p0631c29與諸人覿面拈出。」顧左右,云:「且道第五種不易是甚J36nB359_p0631c30麼人聻?」良久,云:「舌短三寸,觜長二尺。」
J36nB359_p0632a01臘八,上堂。舉:「世尊曰:『我初成正覺時,普見身中一切J36nB359_p0632a02眾生成正覺。』」喝云:「者般說話,大似拽人落水,癩兒牽J36nB359_p0632a03伴,狼籍不少,以致後代兒孫箇箇依艸附木。當時若J36nB359_p0632a04遇殺人不眨眼的漢子,管教者老瞿曇瓦解冰消。何J36nB359_p0632a05故?茫茫宇宙人無數,那箇男兒不丈夫?」
J36nB359_p0632a06祈晴,上堂。「凍雨霏霏連夜墜,千峰霧鎖波濤沸,廬陵J36nB359_p0632a07米價勢撩天,投子油錢騰踊貴,聖僧堂內皺雙眉,默J36nB359_p0632a08坐無言常噓氣。休噓氣,弁山有箇解愁方,說與諸人J36nB359_p0632a09仔細記。」揮拂,云:「撥出雲中日一輪,依然宇宙光風霽。」
J36nB359_p0632a10上堂。舉拂,云:「在天成象,在地成形,在日月為晦為朔,J36nB359_p0632a11在四時為寒為暑。今在弁山手裏成箇甚麼?五位君J36nB359_p0632a12臣耶?三要賓主耶?三句關鍵耶?六義圓相耶?者裏剖J36nB359_p0632a13析得出,不妨背負須彌、胸納滄海,劍樹刀山喝使摧,J36nB359_p0632a14鑊湯爐炭吹教滅。若能如是,始稱衲僧意氣。還有麼?」J36nB359_p0632a15良久,云:「且莫鑽龜打瓦。」
J36nB359_p0632a16上堂。「侵早分明剖露,而今特又重宣,莫怪婆婆觜碎,J36nB359_p0632a17多因媳婦耳頑。大眾!還識弁山真實為人處麼?」卓拄J36nB359_p0632a18杖,下座。
J36nB359_p0632a19元旦,上堂。「昨日舊年尾,家家換鬱壘,弄獅子,裝小鬼,J36nB359_p0632a20不用世尊拈花,笑破許多人觜;今朝新歲頭,各各賣J36nB359_p0632a21風流,擲骰子,蹴氣毬,一一真常獨露,何須斷臂別求?J36nB359_p0632a22祇如拈卻頭尾,不涉新舊,又作麼生話會?」舉拂,云:「皇J36nB359_p0632a23圖鞏固,帝道遐昌,佛日增輝,法輪常轉。伏惟大眾各J36nB359_p0632a24各萬福,不勞久立。」
J36nB359_p0632a25湖州府楊都督請上堂。震威一喝,云:「大眾會麼?果能J36nB359_p0632a26會得,正法眼藏、涅槃玅心以及五家門庭、百千公案J36nB359_p0632a27無不了了,正好明展龍韜、暗藏虎略,劍戟叢中高提J36nB359_p0632a28祖印、弓矢弦上玅運靈機,直得釋迦、彌勒倒退三千,J36nB359_p0632a29波旬、魔黨伏屍萬里。正恁麼時,撥亂為治、移俗易風,J36nB359_p0632a30使皇風與祖風而並扇,俾佛日共舜日以常明。且道J36nB359_p0632b01向上還有事也無?」復喝一喝,云:「回途復玅持金印,正J36nB359_p0632b02令曾無一字傳。」
J36nB359_p0632b03解制,上堂。「今朝正月十五,大施門開無阻,人人眼蓋J36nB359_p0632b04乾坤,箇箇氣吞佛祖,肩頭拄杖如龍,腳下艸鞋似虎。J36nB359_p0632b05雖然,只如古人道:有佛處不得住,無佛處急走過,三J36nB359_p0632b06千里外逢人不得錯舉。作麼生商量?若商量不出,且J36nB359_p0632b07看者木上座為諸人展演去也。」拈拄杖一齊打散。
