J36nB359_p0670a05康熙癸卯夏,在國山善權寺受請,上堂。拈疏云:「靈鷲J36nB359_p0670a06峰前親承面命,雙林樹下最後遺言,三千年事盡在J36nB359_p0670a07裏許,於此會得,千里同風。」陞座。「百尺之竿,豈因纖鱗J36nB359_p0670a08以垂餌?千鈞之弩,不為鼷鼠而發機。眾中莫有衝霄J36nB359_p0670a09負漢不受羅籠者麼?」問:「世尊說法四十九年,演教三J36nB359_p0670a10百餘會,未審意在於何?」師云:「跨蛟鞭紫電,騎虎唱巴J36nB359_p0670a11歌。」進云:「和尚七坐道場,又受維揚之請,與世尊是同J36nB359_p0670a12是別?」師云:「白雲騰碧漢,赤日正流金。」進云:「靈山付囑J36nB359_p0670a13今猶在,萬古金湯一片心。」師云:「相隨來也。」拈拄杖云:J36nB359_p0670a14「唯有者箇獨脫無依,獲大自在,為法身主、作毘盧師,J36nB359_p0670a15或鍼鋒頭上韜光斂彩、或摩醯眼中揚塵播土,行無J36nB359_p0670a16所行、住無所住,盡虛空是浮幢王剎、遍法界是圓覺J36nB359_p0670a17伽藍,無彼無此、何去何來?正好定綱紀、齊物我、建法J36nB359_p0670a18幢、立宗旨,未為分外。只如泗州大聖向揚州出現,畢J36nB359_p0670a19竟是何意旨?八十婆婆花滿鬢,不風流處也風流。」
J36nB359_p0670a20三門。「門門一切境,回互不回互?」喝一喝,云:「獅子嚬呻,J36nB359_p0670a21象王獨步。」
J36nB359_p0670a22韋馱。「童真示跡,樓至現身。顯威靈而護持正法,擎寶J36nB359_p0670a23杵而掃蕩魔氛。今來無別事,不必更叮嚀。」
J36nB359_p0670a24伽藍。「內護是我,外護是你。灶裏要柴,倉裏要米。大家J36nB359_p0670a25出手共殷勤,折腳鐺兒同扶起。」
J36nB359_p0670a26佛殿。「報化非真佛,亦非說法者。且道者位是真不是J36nB359_p0670a27真?」展坐具,云:「兩彩一賽。」
J36nB359_p0670a28方丈。「盡法界是維摩丈室,遍大地是曲彔木床,說甚J36nB359_p0670a29當門按劍,水碗投鍼?正好閉門打睡,接上上機。且道J36nB359_p0670a30新善慶憑何節目?」擲拄杖,云:「穿卻天下衲僧鼻孔。」
J36nB359_p0670b01開堂拈疏。「在天成象,在地成形。珠玉不足喻其珍,錦J36nB359_p0670b02繡無以奪其麗。世出世間,莫不由此而建立。苟或遲J36nB359_p0670b03疑,試聽宣讀。」
J36nB359_p0670b04法座。「者裏要登便登,說甚麼借座燈王?」卓拄杖,云:「我J36nB359_p0670b05為法王,於法自在。」陞座,拈香,云:「此一瓣香,端為祝延J36nB359_p0670b06金輪衍御,睿算等於彌盧;鳳曆常新,皇圖固於磐石。J36nB359_p0670b07此一瓣香,乃文乃武,維屏維翰,滿朝勳貴、遠近檀那J36nB359_p0670b08同明第一義諦,共入不二法門。此一瓣香,不從蔥嶺J36nB359_p0670b09帶來,亦非少室傳得。今第九會拈出,專申供養前住J36nB359_p0670b10洪都百丈山聖壽寺堂上傳曹洞正宗第二十八世J36nB359_p0670b11瑞白雪老和尚,用酬法乳之恩。」就座。白椎竟,乃云:「者J36nB359_p0670b12第一義,山僧未離善權寺、未渡楊子江,早已狼藉了J36nB359_p0670b13也。莫有目擊道存、告往知來者麼?通箇消息看。」問:「四J36nB359_p0670b14眾雲臻即不問,斬新條令事如何?」師云:「匝地紅輪秀,J36nB359_p0670b15滿空瑞氣來。」進云:「泗州大聖為甚麼在揚州出現?」師J36nB359_p0670b16云:「無孔鐵鎚當面擲。」進云:「與麼則是處是慈氏,無門J36nB359_p0670b17無善財。」師云:「金剛寶劍逼人寒。」進云:「慈雲普覆三千J36nB359_p0670b18界,法雨均沾萬國中。」師便打,乃云:「此箇廣大門戶,威J36nB359_p0670b19德自在,騰今耀古,阿誰無分?貴乎直下承當,全身擔J36nB359_p0670b20荷。不見世尊在靈山會上覿面分付,廣令流布,勿使J36nB359_p0670b21斷絕,自後祖祖授受,以及三千年來,花分五葉,派列J36nB359_p0670b22千岐,月燭慧燈,星排道樹,可謂盛矣。邇來去聖時遙,J36nB359_p0670b23魔強法弱,善慶到此,事不獲已,只得脫珍御服,著敝J36nB359_p0670b24垢衣,入廛垂手,帶水拖泥,欲覓一箇半箇,上報佛恩,J36nB359_p0670b25下化眾生,務使正法流通。正恁麼時如何慶祝?日月J36nB359_p0670b26兩輪明聖德,山河百億壯皇圖。」復舉:「法燈禪師云:『山J36nB359_p0670b27僧本欲潛棲嵒壑,養拙過時,無奈清涼老人有件不J36nB359_p0670b28了公案,今日出來,特為了卻。』時有僧問:『未審有甚麼J36nB359_p0670b29不了?』燈便打,曰:『過在甚麼處?』燈云:『過在我,殃及汝。』」乃J36nB359_p0670b30云:「法燈老漢雖則胸藏武庫、肘佩靈符,擒縱自由,猶J36nB359_p0670c01欠勦絕。山僧素志亦爾,本欲棲影荊溪,埋頭度時,無J36nB359_p0670c02奈先師亦有箇不了公案,今赴維揚,特為了卻。儻問:J36nB359_p0670c03『有甚麼不了?』但道:『死貓頭無人著價。』曰:『過在甚麼處?』J36nB359_p0670c04更云:『罕逢作者。』大眾!且道善慶的是?古人的是?」卓拄J36nB359_p0670c05杖,云:「慈舟不櫂清波上,劍峽徒勞放木鵝。」下座。
J36nB359_p0670c06立兩序,上堂。「建宗旨,豎法幢,還他作者;整叢林,齊規J36nB359_p0670c07矩,須是其人。故曰:人能弘道,非道弘人。昔青原首眾J36nB359_p0670c08於曹溪,克賓綱維於興化,寶壽之生薑至今猶辣,楊J36nB359_p0670c09岐之燈盞千載常明,淨缾踢倒輸他溈山,篾箍爆斷J36nB359_p0670c10慶快悅老,從上先德莫不皆然。所以道:你若立時我J36nB359_p0670c11便坐,我若坐時你須立。互為肘臂,迭為主賓。正恁麼J36nB359_p0670c12時,正好使無手人打禾山鼓,無舌人唱德山歌。」拈拄J36nB359_p0670c13杖,云:「大眾且道:者箇無面目漢教他作箇甚麼?」顧左J36nB359_p0670c14右,云:「自有廊幕在。」
J36nB359_p0670c15元旦,上堂。「星移物換,律轉陽回,琉璃殿前天曉不露,J36nB359_p0670c16翡翠簾外夜半正明。當此時也,朝野協和,賢能在位,J36nB359_p0670c17垂衣自治,端拱無為,四海謳擊壤之歌,萬民樂羲皇J36nB359_p0670c18之世。大眾!今是元旦,佛法如何舉揚?」擊香案,云:「梅萼J36nB359_p0670c19初開柳線長,翩翩蝴蝶競尋香,東君有意誰能委?問J36nB359_p0670c20取遊心白面郎。」
J36nB359_p0670c21上堂。舉:「丹霞淳禪師上堂:『寶月流輝,澂潭布影,水無J36nB359_p0670c22蘸月之意,月無分照之心,水月兩忘,方可稱斷。所以J36nB359_p0670c23道:昇天事直須颺卻,十成事直須去卻,擲地金聲不J36nB359_p0670c24須回顧。若能如是,始解向異類中行。諸人還委悉麼?』J36nB359_p0670c25良久,曰:『常行不舉人間步,戴角披毛入水泥。』」師頌云:J36nB359_p0670c26「鷹觜魚腮丈六身,花街紫陌共遊春,掀翻宇宙不驚J36nB359_p0670c27塵,疑殺黃頭碧眼人。」
J36nB359_p0670c28上堂。「山河大地,常演圓音;萬象森羅,恒談實相。」拈拄J36nB359_p0670c29杖,云:「者是甚麼相?」卓一卓,云:「者是甚麼音?於此見得、J36nB359_p0670c30聞得,則知觀音大士常在諸人耳朵裏、文殊菩薩常J36nB359_p0671a01在諸人眼睛裏,二六時中出出入入,放大光明、現大J36nB359_p0671a02神變、作諸佛事,從無量劫來未曾間斷。大眾還委悉J36nB359_p0671a03麼?一道靈光曾不昧,千差萬別盡圓融。」
J36nB359_p0671a04結制,上堂。「習定坐禪,大似按圖索馬;息妄求真,正是J36nB359_p0671a05依樣畫貓。行棒、行喝,乃盜跖之黨餘;說玅、說玄,實張J36nB359_p0671a06儀之流亞。若在明眼人前,總成笑具。唯有善慶總不J36nB359_p0671a07如是,莫有超宗異目者出來相見?」問:「向上關捩即不J36nB359_p0671a08問,開爐結制事如何?」師云:「渾吞蒺藜猶閒事,倒握吹J36nB359_p0671a09毛不露鋒。」進云:「劈開華嶽連天秀,放出黃河徹底清。」J36nB359_p0671a10師云:「直教棒下成龍去,莫學韓盧逐塊來。」進云:「雲散J36nB359_p0671a11青天出,山高眾岫歸。」師打,云:「更須喫棒。」乃云:「據實而J36nB359_p0671a12論,問也沒交涉、荅也沒交涉。何故?禪道不可以語言J36nB359_p0671a13通、聖智不可以有心知、真諦不可以存我會、至功不J36nB359_p0671a14可以營事求,故曰:凡有所得,非真得也。善慶今日結J36nB359_p0671a15制,亦不要你學佛、學法,但要你終日喫飯不嚼一粒J36nB359_p0671a16米、終日穿衣不挂一縷絲,懸崖撒手、絕後再甦,一念J36nB359_p0671a17回機便同本得,車馬叢裏廣顯神通、金紫行中大作J36nB359_p0671a18佛事,納須彌於芥孔、拈世界於毫端,無是、無不是,無J36nB359_p0671a19非、無不非,得亦無所得、失亦無所失。果到者箇田地,J36nB359_p0671a20方許喫山僧手中熱棒。大眾!還委悉麼?」卓拄杖,云:「莫J36nB359_p0671a21言春日行冬令,只要心空及第歸。」
J36nB359_p0671a22上堂。舉:「天童玨禪師上堂:『劫前運步,世外橫身,玅契J36nB359_p0671a23不可以意到,真證不可以言傳。直得虛靜斂氛,白雲J36nB359_p0671a24向寒嵒而斷;靈光破暗,明月隨夜船而來。正恁麼時,J36nB359_p0671a25如何履踐?偏正不曾離本位,縱橫那涉語因緣?』」師頌J36nB359_p0671a26云:「指石為玉,點鐵成金,拙人自逸,智者勞心。流水長J36nB359_p0671a27舌,清風素琴,塵剎無間,非去來今。」
J36nB359_p0671a28上堂。「日暖曉鶯啼,蝶迷芳草岸,桃花李花撩亂開,此J36nB359_p0671a29景真堪羨。流光急似梭,瞬息春將半,遊子天涯何不J36nB359_p0671a30歸?柳眉愁欲斷。經中道:『治世語言、資生產業,皆於實J36nB359_p0671b01相不相違背。』只如今日居士設齋,饅頭每人兩箇、嚫J36nB359_p0671b02錢每入一分,且道於實相還有差別也無?」喝一喝,云:J36nB359_p0671b03「劍去久矣。」
J36nB359_p0671b04平山堂道弘禪師請上堂。「世間所貴者,卞氏之璧、隋J36nB359_p0671b05侯之珠,金山喚作驢尿馬糞;出世間所貴者,真如解J36nB359_p0671b06脫、菩提涅槃,金山喚作𡱰沸碗鳴。古人與麼道,雖則J36nB359_p0671b07剔膜刮瞖、拔楔抽釘,大似舍重從輕、以貴為賤,不免J36nB359_p0671b08見處偏枯。善慶則不然。」揮拂,云:「前面是山門,後頭是J36nB359_p0671b09佛殿;寒則圍爐,熱則揮扇。不用六臂三頭,豈羨千化J36nB359_p0671b10萬變?坐斷主人公,不落第二見。大眾!作麼生是第一J36nB359_p0671b11見?幽鳥一聲兩聲,落花七片八片。」
J36nB359_p0671b12大士誕日,上堂。「今朝二月十九,試問諸人見否?普門J36nB359_p0671b13大士生辰,閻浮界內垂手,或時簸土揚塵、或時攀花J36nB359_p0671b14弄柳,堂堂覿面絕遮攔,擬議金毛變作狗。」遂舉手,曰:J36nB359_p0671b15「觀世音菩薩將錢買胡餅。放下手,曰:『原來祇是饅頭。』J36nB359_p0671b16畢竟是何意旨?」顧眾,云:「勒玉轡,上彩樓,赤紅毬打紫J36nB359_p0671b17紅毬,堪笑當年馬郎婦,惱亂春風卒未休。」問:「一真界J36nB359_p0671b18內元無凡聖之名,實際地中寧有去來之跡?觀音大J36nB359_p0671b19士今日降生,還是神通耶?法爾耶?」師云:「夜半木童吹J36nB359_p0671b20鐵笛。」進云:「廣陵濤映千山月,楊子橋連兩岸雲。」師云:J36nB359_p0671b21「天明石女弄絲桐。」進云:「黃鳥一聲雲外出,園林艸木J36nB359_p0671b22盡知春。」師云:「依稀似曲纔堪聽,又被風吹別調中。」
J36nB359_p0671b23大士誕日,載上堂。「高超名相,玅體全彰;迥出古今,真J36nB359_p0671b24機獨露。握驪珠而鑑物,物物流輝;擲寶劍以揮空,空J36nB359_p0671b25空絕跡。正恁麼時,且道是阿誰境界?」拈拄杖,云:「早晨J36nB359_p0671b26觀音降誕,今又大士現身,從聞、思、修入三摩地,獲二J36nB359_p0671b27殊勝、十四無畏,興無緣之慈、起同體之悲。應以佛身J36nB359_p0671b28得度者,即現佛身而為說法;應以菩薩身得度者,即J36nB359_p0671b29現菩薩身而為說法。有求皆應,無願不從。然此猶是J36nB359_p0671b30大士現身邊事,且道說底是甚麼法?」卓拄杖,云:「勿勞J36nB359_p0671c01別覓圓通旨,只在鴉鳴鵲噪間。」
J36nB359_p0671c02獨園玄素和尚訃至,上堂。「心同虛空界,示等虛空法,J36nB359_p0671c03證得虛空時,無是無非法。」拈訃云:「此是玄素和尚照J36nB359_p0671c04天照地末後一段光明,不意今日射至維揚,欲使未J36nB359_p0671c05安者安、未解者解、未悟者悟、未證者證,說甚娑羅樹J36nB359_p0671c06下槨示雙趺、熊耳峰前棺遺隻履?直教卷舒不涉纖J36nB359_p0671c07塵,來去了無變異。既無變異,還知獨園和尚為人處J36nB359_p0671c08麼?泰山頹兮梁木摧,哲人萎兮真風墜。已矣乎!已矣J36nB359_p0671c09乎!子規啼落月三更,淚染山花血滿地。」
J36nB359_p0671c10上堂。舉:「天童淨禪師參雪竇,看柏樹子話有省,呈偈J36nB359_p0671c11曰:『西來祖意庭前柏,鼻孔寥寥對眼睛,落地枯枝纔J36nB359_p0671c12𨁝跳,松蘿亮鬲笑掀騰。』雪頷之。屢遷名剎,後奉敕陞J36nB359_p0671c13天童,捧敕黃示眾曰:『雲開九天,呈起時看,彩鳳銜出,J36nB359_p0671c14且如何委悉?急急如律令敕。』」師云:「滄溟窟中挨身而J36nB359_p0671c15入,驪龍頷下抉珠而歸,其光耀也遠射乎牛斗,其聲J36nB359_p0671c16價也丕震乎帝畿,及盡今時兮玉鳳高翥,拈卻那畔J36nB359_p0671c17兮冰壺夜輝,玲瓏嵒峻摩霄漢,春色十洲花正肥。」
J36nB359_p0671c18方學士請上堂。「大丈夫,秉慧劍,金剛鋒兮般若燄,非J36nB359_p0671c19但空摧外道心,早曾落卻天魔膽。」卓拄杖,云:「者裏全J36nB359_p0671c20身擔荷,一任秕糠佛祖、陶鑄人天,家國以之奠安、魔J36nB359_p0671c21氛以之肅靜,視富貴如浮雲、棄功名如敝屣,豈不謂J36nB359_p0671c22世、出世間一大丈夫?且道孰是其人?不見崔趙公問J36nB359_p0671c23徑山欽曰:『弟子欲出家,得否?』曰:『出家乃大丈夫事,非J36nB359_p0671c24將相之所能為。』趙公於言下有省。大眾!趙公與麼問、J36nB359_p0671c25欽師與麼荅,因甚便有省?一語喚醒鸚鵡夢,九天奪J36nB359_p0671c26得鳳雛歸。」問:「如何是奪人不奪境?」師云:「文峰塔上紫J36nB359_p0671c27霞生。」「如何是奪境不奪人?」師云:「門外了無車馬跡。」「如J36nB359_p0671c28何是人境兩俱奪?」師云:「收得安南并塞北。」「如何是人J36nB359_p0671c29境俱不奪?」師云:「電光影裏翻身去,裂石聲中撒手歸。」J36nB359_p0671c30進云:「千溪萬派總歸滄海去也。」師云:「禮拜了退。」
J36nB359_p0672a01供木中現天然大士像,上堂。「燕語鶯啼,總是圓通境J36nB359_p0672a02界;水流月運,無非自在家風。於此會得,一任入廛垂J36nB359_p0672a03手、合水和泥,處處興無緣之慈、時時作不請之友,或J36nB359_p0672a04現身於魚肆街裏、或示形於蛤蜊類中。像顯木間,若J36nB359_p0672a05摩尼映乎五色;龕成殿上,如皓魄散於長川。」豎拂,云:J36nB359_p0672a06「觀音大士向者裏出現,大眾見麼?」拂一拂,云:「分明月J36nB359_p0672a07在梅花上,看到梅花早已遲。」
J36nB359_p0672a08善權眾職事迎師回山,請上堂。「國山頂上雲,楊子江J36nB359_p0672a09心月,雲月本無殊,千里何曾隔?隔不隔,波斯夜半嚼J36nB359_p0672a10生鐵。山僧住善權時,只見蒼松錯落,怪石稜層,流水J36nB359_p0672a11奏叔夜之琴,青山展王維之畫,曉隨芳艸去,晚逐落J36nB359_p0672a12花回,此是山林境界。今在善慶時,唯見門連車馬,路J36nB359_p0672a13接雲衢,窈窕佳人處處清歌玅舞,風流公子時時走J36nB359_p0672a14馬試劍,人語喧闐,朱紫合雜,此是城市境界。城市本J36nB359_p0672a15非山林,山林亦非城市,作麼生說箇不隔的道理?者J36nB359_p0672a16裏緇素得出,以一佛世界為千佛世界,千佛世界為J36nB359_p0672a17萬億諸佛世界,萬億諸佛世界總為一佛世界,了無J36nB359_p0672a18彼此之殊,安有去來之念?不是神通,亦非法爾。大眾J36nB359_p0672a19會麼?須知煙浪裏,別有好商量。」
J36nB359_p0672a20居士誕日,請上堂。「寶鏡高懸未照前,畫堂石女打鞦J36nB359_p0672a21韆,超然直透威音外,樓閣門開別一天。」豎拂,云:「大眾J36nB359_p0672a22見麼?先天地莫知其始,後天地莫知其終,為萬化之J36nB359_p0672a23源、作群靈之祖,日月得之而常明、江海得之而不竭、J36nB359_p0672a24山嶽得之而永固、松柏得之而常春,以及無量世界、J36nB359_p0672a25無量三昧、無量解脫、無量玅用,莫不一一盡向此中J36nB359_p0672a26流出,乃至盡未來際受用不盡,故曰大總持海也。直J36nB359_p0672a27饒大椿之壽、老彭之年,又烏足并語?只如居士壽誕,J36nB359_p0672a28山僧如何慶讚?」揮拂,云:「欲知龐老無生句,父子雖親J36nB359_p0672a29不可傳。」
J36nB359_p0672a30解制,上堂。「有一人能說而不能行,有一人能行而不J36nB359_p0672b01能說,有一人說亦說得、行亦行得,有一人說亦說不J36nB359_p0672b02得、行亦行不得。且道此四種人,那一種人卻有長處?J36nB359_p0672b03若識得此人,一任腰包頂笠,北往南來,拄杖芒鞋,橫J36nB359_p0672b04行直撞,鬧市叢中簸土揚塵,萬仞崖前吟風嘯月。雖J36nB359_p0672b05然,只如楊子江洪波浩渺、白浪滔天,正當此時,不假J36nB359_p0672b06舟楫作麼生過?若也過得,不孤負在善慶結制來;若J36nB359_p0672b07過不得,切忌打溼袈裟角。」
J36nB359_p0672b08上堂。「夏日苦天長,閉門晝打睡,無言接上機,有語終J36nB359_p0672b09非契。曉雨隔江來,薰風撲面至,何勞更舉鞭?千里羨J36nB359_p0672b10良驥。」豎拂,云:「體包虛空,量周沙界,華嶽不足為其儔,J36nB359_p0672b11滄溟無以為其喻,威音不知其所始,釋迦不知其所J36nB359_p0672b12終,迥超名言,不墮諸數,故曰:吾不知誰之子,象帝之J36nB359_p0672b13先。大眾且道:是阿誰境界?」顧眾,云:「閻浮樹下呵呵笑,J36nB359_p0672b14地老天荒總不知。」
J36nB359_p0672b15誕日,請上堂。「山僧今年五十有五,髮欲白而齒半頹,J36nB359_p0672b16面已皺而目漸昏,可謂老矣,幸有箇道伴在。」拈拄杖,J36nB359_p0672b17云:「行則同行,坐則同坐,憂則同憂,樂則同樂。或時敲J36nB359_p0672b18雲棒月,打艸驚蛇;或時扶過斷橋水,不墮悄然機。伴J36nB359_p0672b19歸明月村,動容揚古路,徘徊乎廣漠之野,嘯傲乎何J36nB359_p0672b20有之鄉,相視而笑,莫逆於心。且道:此人還落春秋數J36nB359_p0672b21量也無?」卓一卓,云:「好大哥!會也麼?風流不在著衣多,J36nB359_p0672b22自從舞得三臺後,拍拍原來總是歌。」
J36nB359_p0672b23請上堂。「香雲靉靆,紫氣氤氳,鐘鼓交參,人天際會,山J36nB359_p0672b24河大地悉共騰歡,艸木叢林咸皆作舞。大眾!且道是J36nB359_p0672b25箇甚麼祥瑞?」舉拂,云:「看看!適來大覺仙人、毘目仙人、J36nB359_p0672b26長眉仙人、忍辱仙人、無量無邊諸仙人眾,或騰雲駕J36nB359_p0672b27霧而來者、或跨鶴乘鸞而至者、有獻冰桃雪藕者、或J36nB359_p0672b28奏步虛之詞、有供金丹火棗者、或詠南飛之曲,種種J36nB359_p0672b29形相、種種神變、種種處所,各各不同,一時集於蟭螟J36nB359_p0672b30眉睫之上。善慶拂子忍俊不禁,向前問曰:『諸位大仙J36nB359_p0672c01有何因緣而來至此?』眾仙荅曰:『今維揚許仲容眉壽J36nB359_p0672c02八旬,闡揚佛事,廣作利益,我等特來共為慶壽。』拂子J36nB359_p0672c03曰:『汝欲慶過去壽耶?慶現在壽耶?慶未來壽耶?過去J36nB359_p0672c04不可思議,今已過去;未來不可思議,尚且未至;現在J36nB359_p0672c05不可思議,而無住相。三壽之中,汝欲慶那一壽?』於是,J36nB359_p0672c06眾仙遞相顧視,不能加荅,被拂子一喝,各各騰空而J36nB359_p0672c07去。還有荅得此一語者麼?」拂一拂,云:「欲知劫外真消J36nB359_p0672c08息,夜半金烏海上紅。」
J36nB359_p0672c09結制,上堂。「善慶今日以乾坤為橐籥、須彌作鉗錘,是J36nB359_p0672c10佛、是祖,或凡、或聖,銀、汞、銅、鐵,缾、盤、釵、釧,總教打成一J36nB359_p0672c11塊、鎔作一團,然後方名寶器,堪作勝用。還有躍冶精J36nB359_p0672c12金不受煆煉者麼?」問:「大開爐韛,煆煉佛祖,嘉州石像、J36nB359_p0672c13陝府鐵牛如何相為?」師打云:「棒頭有眼須親薦。」進云:J36nB359_p0672c14「犀因玩月紋生角,象被雷驚花入牙。」師云:「句裏無私J36nB359_p0672c15不用尋。」乃云:「機輪轉處,智眼猶迷,寶鏡高懸,狐蹤遠J36nB359_p0672c16匿。直饒問若雲興,酬似缾瀉,揮霍如雨,咳唾成珠,到J36nB359_p0672c17者裏總沒交涉。三世諸佛有口只堪挂壁,靈利漢子J36nB359_p0672c18未過九龍橋、未睹文峰塔,便恁麼掣肘而去,早已喫J36nB359_p0672c19善慶痛棒了也。且道利害在甚麼處?若是金毛獅子J36nB359_p0672c20子,三千里外透重關。」
J36nB359_p0672c21夾山唯岑和尚訃至,上堂。「金飆拂檻,清秋月轉霜輪;J36nB359_p0672c22玉露侵簾,銀漢星垂斗柄。既不居於尊貴,安能住於J36nB359_p0672c23大功?且道是誰境界?」拈訃云:「大眾看看!此是唯岑和J36nB359_p0672c24尚於數十年來七座道場、六會說法最後一著,莫大J36nB359_p0672c25光明遠照邗關、普覆虛空,山河國土、日月星辰、樓臺J36nB359_p0672c26殿閣、花木池沼、人物鳥獸以至情與無情,莫不承此J36nB359_p0672c27光明作大佛事、顯玅神通、悟無生忍、獲不退地,究竟J36nB359_p0672c28至於一切薩婆若海。正恁麼時,還有知恩報恩者麼?」J36nB359_p0672c29擊香案,云:「昨有人從越地來,忽聞夾嶺玉山頹,人天J36nB359_p0672c30無限失依怙,惹得空生淚滿腮。」
J36nB359_p0673a01上堂。舉:「溈山問仰山云:『玅淨明心作麼生會?』仰曰:『山J36nB359_p0673a02河大地,日月星辰。』溈曰:『汝只得其事。』仰曰:『適來和尚J36nB359_p0673a03問甚麼?』溈曰:『玅淨明心。』仰曰:『喚作事得麼?』溈曰:『如是,J36nB359_p0673a04如是。』」乃云:「絃歌相和,節拍相隨,須讓他溈仰父子。若J36nB359_p0673a05是玅淨明心,直饒圓古佛、小釋迦三生六十劫也未J36nB359_p0673a06夢見在。雖然,要會玅淨明心也不難。」良久,云:「看看!適J36nB359_p0673a07來山門騎佛殿走向玅喜世界,將不動智如來驀頭J36nB359_p0673a08一撞,直得鼻孔去了半邊。舜若多神,忍痛不禁,揚聲J36nB359_p0673a09大叫云:『苦哉,屈哉!』大眾!還驚覺也未?咄!莫瞌睡好。」
J36nB359_p0673a10上堂。「眉端挂劍,血濺梵天;句裏藏鋒,氣貫斗牛。敲唱J36nB359_p0673a11雙行,明暗並舉。吹無孔笛,響遏行雲;撫沒絃琴,韻和J36nB359_p0673a12流水。於此會得,一任同放、同收,同生、同殺,糟粕西乾J36nB359_p0673a13四七,陶鑄東土二三,作佛祖向上之爪牙,為人天現J36nB359_p0673a14前之眼目。眾中還有其人麼?」卓拄杖,下座。
J36nB359_p0673a15臘八,上堂。「法筵龍象眾,貓兒喫彩鳳;當觀第一義,猢J36nB359_p0673a16猻騎鱉背。縱饒與麼承當,也是鬼家活計。可憐黃面J36nB359_p0673a17老子於臘月八日被箇明星換了一雙眼睛,帶累後J36nB359_p0673a18代兒孫箇箇扶籬摸壁。善慶今日要與他開卻一隻J36nB359_p0673a19眼,使一切人光明遍天遍地。」以手撥眉,云:「貓。」
J36nB359_p0673a20上堂。「寒雲水面,乍斂乍舒;凍日峰頭,半紅半紫。普賢J36nB359_p0673a21橫跨象王,文殊倒騎獅子,良哉觀世音,走入荒艸裏。J36nB359_p0673a22大眾見麼?昔日法華會上有娑竭龍女,年始八歲,梵J36nB359_p0673a23行具足,有一寶珠價值三千大千世界,一時獻佛,佛J36nB359_p0673a24便納受,忽然之間變成男子,坐寶蓮華,往南方無垢J36nB359_p0673a25世界成等正覺。黃面瞿曇也是乞兒見小利,可惜放J36nB359_p0673a26過,當時若到善慶腳跟下,好與一頓熱棒。何故?金鱗J36nB359_p0673a27不得風雷送,怎透龍門萬丈高?」
J36nB359_p0673a28上堂。「三界無法,何處求心?四大本空,佛依何住?盤山J36nB359_p0673a29老漢大似見處偏枯,怎如善慶者裏一味本分生涯、J36nB359_p0673a30隨緣粥飯?或時對賓酬醋、或時曳杖徘徊,風敲翠竹J36nB359_p0673b01而韻入笙簧、日照幽溪而寒光瀲灩,岸柳爆黃金之J36nB359_p0673b02色、梅花吐白玉之香。正恁麼時,喚甚作三界?將誰為J36nB359_p0673b03四大?何物是心?何者是佛?德山有棒,只堪燒火;臨濟J36nB359_p0673b04有口,正好挂壁。善慶恁麼道,還有為人處也無?」喝一J36nB359_p0673b05喝,云:「也是牽牛拽磨。」
J36nB359_p0673b06上堂。「地凍天寒,艸枯冰綠,一段風光,塞耳盈目,不用J36nB359_p0673b07即物明心,亦非見性成佛。班超投筆而覓封侯,夷齊J36nB359_p0673b08首陽以辭周粟,真不掩偽,直不藏曲。且道:守清高者J36nB359_p0673b09是?立功業者是?」卓拄杖,云:「我為法王,於法自在。」
J36nB359_p0673b10上堂。「隴梅初綻柳含青,箇段風光畫不成,夢破玉人J36nB359_p0673b11霜月冷,橫吹蘆管度江城。昔舍利弗問天女曰:『你何J36nB359_p0673b12不轉女身?』女曰:『我從十二年來求女相了不可得,當J36nB359_p0673b13何所轉?』即時天女以神通力變舍利弗為天女相,天J36nB359_p0673b14女自化作舍利弗而問曰:『舍利弗何不轉女身?』舍利J36nB359_p0673b15弗以天女相荅曰:『我今不知何為變為女身?』大眾會J36nB359_p0673b16麼?若是據令而行,舍利弗與天女正好一棒打殺,拋J36nB359_p0673b17向邗江波底,免得後人作野狐精見解。何故?男兒志J36nB359_p0673b18氣沖牛斗,誰不雄雄大丈夫?」
J36nB359_p0673b19上堂。「霜花遍野,呈格外之真機;旭日騰輝,露威音之J36nB359_p0673b20消息。無塵不透,無剎不彰,祖意勿勞別覓,佛法只在J36nB359_p0673b21目前。諸昆仲!高者是天,厚者是地,青者是山,綠者是J36nB359_p0673b22水,森羅萬象,明暗色空,艸芥人畜,蜎飛蠕動,畢竟那J36nB359_p0673b23箇是目前的佛法?」拈拄杖,云:「看看!拄杖子化作無位J36nB359_p0673b24真人,倒騎楊岐三腳驢子,一時遊遍三千大千世界J36nB359_p0673b25以及無量諸佛國土,走向康山絕頂,高聲唱言:『所謂J36nB359_p0673b26布施者,必獲其利益;若為樂布施,後必得安樂。』然後J36nB359_p0673b27還復本形,依舊是箇拄杖子。」卓一卓,云:「且道無位真J36nB359_p0673b28人又向甚處去也?曲終人不見,江上數峰青。」
J36nB359_p0673b29上堂。「臘已殘,歲云暮,天寒月冷猿啼樹,寄言遊子早J36nB359_p0673b30歸家,莫使白頭人倚戶。儻有箇長老出眾高聲云:『將J36nB359_p0673c01謂者老漢有多少奇特,今日到者裏只解說老婆禪。』J36nB359_p0673c02但向他道:『善慶住持事繁。』」
J36nB359_p0673c03上堂。舉:「石頭希遷禪師示眾云:『語言動用即沒交涉。』J36nB359_p0673c04藥山出眾云:『非語言動用亦沒交涉。』頭云:『我者裏鍼J36nB359_p0673c05劄不入。』山云:『我者裏石上栽花。』」乃云:「諸昆仲還知此J36nB359_p0673c06二大老恁般說話麼?祇如一人道鍼劄不入、一人道J36nB359_p0673c07石上栽花,且道是語言動用、非語言動用?若道是語J36nB359_p0673c08言動用,落在石頭圈繢裏;若道非語言動用,落在藥J36nB359_p0673c09山圈繢裏。直饒二俱不涉,又落在善慶圈繢裏。畢竟J36nB359_p0673c10如何不落此圈繢去?」畫一畫,云:「劈開華嶽連天秀,放J36nB359_p0673c11出黃河徹底清。」
J36nB359_p0673c12佛成道日,上堂。「從來夜夜明星現,惟有瞿曇見不同,J36nB359_p0673c13今日與君重指出。」豎拂,云:「金烏飛過海門東。」
J36nB359_p0673c14雲松和尚訃至,上堂。「撲碎鰲山,兩手高攀百丈月;吸J36nB359_p0673c15乾苕水,一身橫臥半間雲。自爾滅聖欺凡、擒龍捉象,J36nB359_p0673c16續五燈之慧燄,燄燄無窮;溯列祖之本源,源源不盡。J36nB359_p0673c17澤施既普,功莫大焉。何期寶鏡潛輝、珠簾倒捲,倦津J36nB359_p0673c18梁於此界、灑甘露於他方?大眾!還見圓通和尚最後J36nB359_p0673c19為人處麼?金鞭擊碎珊瑚月,散作光明照大千。」
J36nB359_p0673c20元旦,上堂。「佳節逢元旦,金爐爇瓣香,雲霞凝瑞彩,花J36nB359_p0673c21鳥獻文章。舜日輝三界,堯風扇八方,吾皇何以報?願J36nB359_p0673c22祝壽無疆。適來香已拈罷,聖已祝畢,唯有新年頭佛J36nB359_p0673c23法未向諸人道在。大眾!將甚麼喚作新年頭佛法?試J36nB359_p0673c24說看。」問:「鳳曆遙頒,曉風乍暖,今日陞座如何為人?」師J36nB359_p0673c25云:「長江流不盡,明月去還來。」進云:「萬物咸新又作麼J36nB359_p0673c26生?」師云:「柳搖殘臘去,梅放早春回。」進云:「溪頭楊柳拖J36nB359_p0673c27煙翠,洞口梅花帶雪香。」師云:「且莫隨境漂流。」拈拄杖,J36nB359_p0673c28云:「善慶拄杖,不怒而威,不言而信,不令而行,無為而J36nB359_p0673c29治,化滿天下而不居其功,刻雕眾象而不為其巧,迥J36nB359_p0673c30超佛性玅義,不落時節因緣。且道他有甚奇特?大用J36nB359_p0674a01縱橫無軌則,一回拈弄一回新。」
J36nB359_p0674a02上堂。「教中道:『若以色見我,以音聲求我,是人行邪道,J36nB359_p0674a03不能見如來。』」拈拄杖云:「者箇非聲非色,果能見得,蛾J36nB359_p0674a04蛘蟻子本無欠少,沙磧瓦礫放光動地,阿誰非佛?阿J36nB359_p0674a05誰非祖?不妨撒手歸家,端然穩坐。等閒不歸歸便得,J36nB359_p0674a06五湖煙景有誰爭?是則是,為何流支三藏打落達磨J36nB359_p0674a07大師當門牙齒?且道過在甚麼處?鞏縣茶瓶。」
J36nB359_p0674a08上堂。「麤言及細語,皆歸第一義。昨夜無手人行拳,無J36nB359_p0674a09舌人相罵。且道是第幾義?檢點得出,今分半座與你;J36nB359_p0674a10檢點不出,莫怪山僧獨占去也。呵呵呵,囉囉哩,北山J36nB359_p0674a11雨落,南山霧起。略彴不是趙州橋,明月清風安可比?」J36nB359_p0674a12喝一喝,云:「白雲萬里。」
J36nB359_p0674a13解制,上堂。「九十日期今已滿,從前警策一時休,崢嶸J36nB359_p0674a14頭角無回互,放出溈山水牯牛。大眾還見麼?爭奈鼻J36nB359_p0674a15頭繩索猶在善慶手中,教你往東不敢往西,教你往J36nB359_p0674a16西不敢往東,欲去去不得、欲住住不得,殺活臨時,收J36nB359_p0674a17放在我。只如不落收放又作麼生?」擊香案,云:「一聲羌J36nB359_p0674a18笛離亭晚,君向瀟湘我向秦。」
J36nB359_p0674a19乙巳八月廿七,辭眾,上堂。「人之生死,皆有分定,實風J36nB359_p0674a20燭曉霜,不過待時而已。老僧開堂二十餘年,素無長J36nB359_p0674a21物可蓄,雖有香資,即入常住應用,人所共知。惟餘書J36nB359_p0674a22籍、衣履等物,中秋鳴鼓集眾,皆已散去。凡我門人,爭J36nB359_p0674a23無遺物者非吾弟子?老僧去後,不得披麻帶孝,悲慟J36nB359_p0674a24號泣,有類世俗。塔造善權,毋議他處。前有書接青龍J36nB359_p0674a25寒松堂頭來,老僧不過廿七八,今正是時,還有末後J36nB359_p0674a26激揚者麼?」問:「理彰時至今姑置,末後一機作麼生?」師J36nB359_p0674a27云:「且待明朝來,盡情向汝道。」天寧和尚問:「師為海內J36nB359_p0674a28一人,天下衲僧歸仰,還當久住世間?」師云:「起動罣念。」J36nB359_p0674a29福緣和尚問:「和尚開堂多年,兒孫得力,可以放得下。」J36nB359_p0674a30師云:「道人家來去自由,有甚放不下?」曰:「不妨再來奉J36nB359_p0674b01看。」師云:「只好別峰相會。」問:「古人預知時至,師又如何?」J36nB359_p0674b02師云:「年年是好年,日日是好日。」問:「某欲住山,求師一J36nB359_p0674b03偈。」師云:「只要拏得钁頭柄牢。」僧喝,師云:「除卻喝,更道J36nB359_p0674b04看。」僧無語,師打云:「钁頭柄拏不牢在。」卓拄杖,下座。
J36nB359_p0674b05廿八黎明,師索筆大書偈云:「生年五十復零六,大事J36nB359_p0674b06因緣今已足,釣罷金鱗歸去休,漁翁不向蘆灣宿。」擲J36nB359_p0674b07筆而逝。石刻親筆,現存禮菴青龍。
