J36nB359_p0632c05開山瑞和尚十周,上堂。「○先師來也,普為現前大眾J36nB359_p0632c06示此滿月輪相,令入無礙解脫法門。為慳貪眾生說J36nB359_p0632c07檀波羅蜜、為犯戒眾生說毘黎耶波羅蜜、為瞋恚眾J36nB359_p0632c08生說羼提波羅蜜、為懈怠眾生說精進波羅蜜、為散J36nB359_p0632c09亂眾生說禪定波羅蜜、為愚癡眾生說智慧波羅蜜、J36nB359_p0632c10為著邪解者說正見、為狂妄者說修證、為執語句者J36nB359_p0632c11掃除語句、為謬認棒喝者呵斥棒喝。或有格外人來,J36nB359_p0632c12不立根機,直提向上,使瞽者明、聾者聽、跛者行、凡者J36nB359_p0632c13聖,悉究竟於一切智地。大眾果能見得聞得,則知先J36nB359_p0632c14師雖去世十周而未曾去、今日來而未曾來,淨法界J36nB359_p0632c15身本無出沒,大悲願力示現受生。眾中還有知恩報J36nB359_p0632c16恩者麼?」良久云:「鏤骨銘肌未足酬。」
J36nB359_p0632c17上堂。「承言者喪,滯句者迷,還有不承言滯句者,出來J36nB359_p0632c18試道看。」問:「善信設齋,請師陞座,有何利益?」師云:「孟春J36nB359_p0632c19猶寒。」進云:「一言透出青霄外,石牛掉尾說無生。」師云:J36nB359_p0632c20「泥裏洗土塊。」乃云:「春雨瀟騷,峰添嫩翠;春風游漾,柳J36nB359_p0632c21夾新煙。花石含長春之色,寶珠燦不夜之光,鳥奏無J36nB359_p0632c22生,竹鳴般若,歷歷見聞不昧,明明聲色難該。大眾!正J36nB359_p0632c23恁麼時,且道是阿誰分上事?○分明一樣窗前月,纔J36nB359_p0632c24到梅花便不同。」
J36nB359_p0632c25上堂。「弁岳峰頭浪滔天,太湖波底大火發,烏鴉變作J36nB359_p0632c26白鷺鷥,醯雞吞卻黃毛獺,碓觜笑咍咍,秤錘鬧聒聒,J36nB359_p0632c27嚇得湖州城裏、十字街頭石敢當手之舞之、足之蹈J36nB359_p0632c28之,云:『阿喇喇,阿喇喇。』」便下座。
J36nB359_p0632c29埭谿石缽大師請上堂。「目擊道存,猶為鈍置;指掌意J36nB359_p0632c30喻,已涉廉纖。去此二途,還有相見者麼?」問:「師登猊座,J36nB359_p0633a01法戰當陽,敵勝驚群,請師舉唱。」師云:「雨過青山翠,花J36nB359_p0633a02開流水香。」進云:「庭前柏樹枝枝秀,續葉聯芳事若何?」J36nB359_p0633a03師云:「水晶甕裏浸波斯。」進云:「覷破慈顏歸故里,兩株J36nB359_p0633a04丹桂永昌昌。」師云:「閒言語。」乃云:「空裏掛擂鎚,眉端懸J36nB359_p0633a05寶劍。其把斷也,海岳昏迷;其放開也,春光燦爛。敲唱J36nB359_p0633a06雙行,主賓互換,擬思鷂子過新羅,禪客徒勞著眼看。」J36nB359_p0633a07卓拄杖,下座。
J36nB359_p0633a08上堂。「昔盤山道:『向上一路,千聖不傳。』慈明道:『向上一J36nB359_p0633a09路,千聖不然。』」乃云:「二尊宿大似假借豪門,虛彰聲勢。J36nB359_p0633a10若是向上一路,依舊拈掇不出。弁山今日要與諸人J36nB359_p0633a11覿面拈出。」擲下拄杖,云:「看!看!」便下座。
J36nB359_p0633a12佛川克歸和尚請上堂。「野山光射弁山頭,花石回春J36nB359_p0633a13香氣浮,可笑昔年宣老語,至今平地兩條溝。大眾!今J36nB359_p0633a14是佛川法姪率眾光臨兼請說法,到者裏說甚麼即J36nB359_p0633a15得?」豎拂,云:「青艸渡頭開正眼,紫羅帳裏合知音。」
J36nB359_p0633a16上堂。「雲山崱屴,處處展畫圖於眉端;谿澗潺湲,時時J36nB359_p0633a17奏簫韶於耳畔。野花發頭陀之笑,幽禽洩少室之機。J36nB359_p0633a18亙古亙今,彌綸不墜;徹頭徹尾,迥絕遮攔。諸禪德還J36nB359_p0633a19會麼?自古春風無厚薄,貧家桃李也成陰。」
J36nB359_p0633a20東禪憨石和尚請上堂。舉:「蛤溪相見洛浦,浦問曰:『自J36nB359_p0633a21從梨溪別後,今得幾載?』溪曰:『和尚猶記得昔時事。』浦J36nB359_p0633a22曰:『見說道者,總忘卻年月也。』溪曰:『和尚住持事繁,且J36nB359_p0633a23容仔細。』浦曰:『打則打會禪漢。』溪曰:『某甲消得。』浦曰:『道J36nB359_p0633a24者住山事繁。』」乃云:「二老可謂有賓有主、有放有收,檢J36nB359_p0633a25點將來,總是互揚家醜。弁山今日將條龜毛索子縛J36nB359_p0633a26作一團,拋向山門外寶珠池浸殺了也,還有相救者J36nB359_p0633a27麼?如無,且請東禪法姪為伊解交。」
J36nB359_p0633a28上堂。「弁山一句子,端的要人委。香爐一張口,桌子四J36nB359_p0633a29隻腿。」搖手云:「低聲,低聲。因甚如此?若在明眼人前,管J36nB359_p0633a30教笑破驢觜。」
J36nB359_p0633b01上堂。「一番晴,一番雨,連日重重為伊舉,莫教億劫受J36nB359_p0633b02伶俜,剔起雙眉急薦取。急薦取,燕子喃喃梁上語。大J36nB359_p0633b03眾!昔歸宗會下一僧,夜半忽大叫云:『我悟也!我悟也!』J36nB359_p0633b04一眾駭然。天明,歸宗上堂云:『喚昨夜大悟的僧出來。』J36nB359_p0633b05僧出,宗云:『你昨夜見箇甚麼道理便云大悟?』僧曰:『尼J36nB359_p0633b06姑元是女人做。』宗休去。」乃云:「歸宗老漢雖有封侯之J36nB359_p0633b07功,而無奪符之作,者僧大似貧兒得餿飯,論量將來,J36nB359_p0633b08俱是鳳頭雞尾。弁山若見者僧與麼道,痛與三十拄J36nB359_p0633b09杖趕出山門。何故?重賞之下必有勇夫。」
J36nB359_p0633b10悉檀大師請上堂。「柴林一隻箭,久隱同安院,無敢攖J36nB359_p0633b11其鋒,狐狼聞膽戰。昨日親到來,也須仔細看,諸禪德J36nB359_p0633b12見麼?」顧左右云:「遠則隔三千,近之在覿面。」
J36nB359_p0633b13龍泉玄素大師請上堂。舉拂子云:「無偏無正,無主無J36nB359_p0633b14賓,門外剎竿一任踢倒,扶起匣中寶劍,何妨豎弄橫J36nB359_p0633b15拈?葉續花聯於不萌枝上,鳳舞鸞翔於無影林中,不J36nB359_p0633b16涉功勳,得大自在。大眾!且道是甚麼人?」良久,云:「手握J36nB359_p0633b17金鞭問歸客,夜深誰共御階行?」
J36nB359_p0633b18道林鏡愚大師請上堂。「春滿華林月滿溪,子規枝上J36nB359_p0633b19向人啼,新豐一曲誰同調?幸喜今朝和得齊。」作撫琴J36nB359_p0633b20勢,云:「不是知音徒側耳,悲風流水夕陽西。」
J36nB359_p0633b21資福伴我和尚請上堂。「寶珠池外,象駕遙臨;花石軒J36nB359_p0633b22中,風雲際會。直得枯桐發響,怪石騰輝,聞所未聞,睹J36nB359_p0633b23所未睹,會得公案圓成。若也躊躇,不妨舉似。昔道吾J36nB359_p0633b24禪師遷化後,石霜為住持。一日,漸源持鍬上法堂,從J36nB359_p0633b25東過西,從西過東,霜云:『作甚麼?』源云:『覓先師靈骨。』霜J36nB359_p0633b26云:『洪波浩渺,白浪滔天,覓甚麼先師靈骨?』源云:『正好J36nB359_p0633b27著力。』霜云:『者裏鍼劄不入,著什麼力?』源持鍬肩上便J36nB359_p0633b28出。」乃云:「石霜、漸源可謂同條共貫,收放臨時,仔細看J36nB359_p0633b29來,猶未勦絕。要得勦絕麼?先師靈骨謾勞尋,溢目煙J36nB359_p0633b30光亙古今,堪笑持鍬徒著力,何如撫掌共披襟?」
J36nB359_p0633c01上堂。拈拄杖,左卓云:「者裏會得,山僧性命在諸人手J36nB359_p0633c02裏。」右卓云:「者裏會得,諸人性命在山僧手裏。」橫按膝J36nB359_p0633c03云:「截斷眾流,不通凡聖,又如何話會?」以拄杖指云:「山J36nB359_p0633c04門騎佛殿,燈籠拽露柱,從諸人面前過,還見麼?儻或J36nB359_p0633c05未見,且聽山僧自歌去也。雲淡風輕近午天,傍花隨J36nB359_p0633c06柳過前川,時人不識予心樂。」維那纔出,師云:「將謂偷J36nB359_p0633c07閒學少年。」
J36nB359_p0633c08上堂。「夜明簾外,木馬嘶風;古鏡臺前,泥牛吼月。穿開J36nB359_p0633c09碧落,不涉途程;蹋碎澂潭,那留朕跡?思量莫測,情識J36nB359_p0633c10安通?果能委悉,百千法門同歸方寸,河沙玅德總在J36nB359_p0633c11心源,永息馳求復有何事?雖然,祇如轉功就位又如J36nB359_p0633c12何?歸家月冷琴聲靜,畫閣騰騰寶篆斜。」問:「古鏡臺前J36nB359_p0633c13即不問,泥牛吼月時如何?」師云:「豪家偏覺貴。」進云:「還J36nB359_p0633c14有奇特事也無?」師云:「黃屋不知尊。」進云:「新羅國裏打J36nB359_p0633c15鼓,南贍部洲說法,未審甚麼人境界?」師云:「非闍黎境J36nB359_p0633c16界。」僧一喝,師便打。
J36nB359_p0633c17上堂。「溢目好風光,不須更別討,檻外鳥關關,峰頭雲J36nB359_p0633c18緲緲。諸禪德!曉不曉?人皆愛月夜眠遲,我獨惜花春J36nB359_p0633c19起早。」拈拄杖云:「會得也與三十拄杖,不會得也與三J36nB359_p0633c20十拄杖。何故?不見道:負恩者多,知恩者少。」
J36nB359_p0633c21佛誕日,祈嗣,請上堂。「金雞生彩鳳,玉兔產麒麟,透出J36nB359_p0633c22威音外,風光遍界新。」豎拂,云:「悉達太子來也。於斯見J36nB359_p0633c23得,未離兜率,已降皇宮;於斯不見,未出母胎,度人已J36nB359_p0633c24畢。見與不見且拈放一邊,祇如露柱懷胎、燈籠發笑,J36nB359_p0633c25明箇甚麼事?好大哥,三箇孩兒抱花鼓,莫來攔我毬J36nB359_p0633c26門路。」擲拂子,下座。
J36nB359_p0633c27披剃,請上堂。「天何言哉?四時行焉,百物生焉。」良久,云:J36nB359_p0633c28「昨夜太湖波底火發,燎卻帝釋天主眉毛,嚇得陝府J36nB359_p0633c29鐵牛走向新羅國裏去也。果能見得,不越戶庭而出J36nB359_p0633c30家事畢。」喝一喝,云:「大似趙婆酤酢。」
J36nB359_p0634a01上堂。舉拂,云:「大眾!者拂子也甚奇怪,適來玅用神通,J36nB359_p0634a02大作佛事,現觀音三十二應,說維摩不二法門,然後J36nB359_p0634a03還復本形,卻被山僧按下了也。如信不及,更有一偈J36nB359_p0634a04不妨諦聽:松陵有信士,登山請說法,山僧口門窄,拂J36nB359_p0634a05子為叨呾。萬象森羅側耳聽,寒山拾得活笑殺,唯有J36nB359_p0634a06彌勒暗點頭,云:『恰恰恰,胡餅無汁不勞呷。』」
J36nB359_p0634a07上堂。拈拄杖云:「雲騰致雨,露結為霜,用之則行,舍之J36nB359_p0634a08則藏。大眾!只如不舍不用又如何?」卓一卓云:「石女歌J36nB359_p0634a09殘明月冷,木童笑指野雲忙。」
J36nB359_p0634a10至湖州永豐菴,請上堂。「江城二月柳煙新,幽鳥枝頭J36nB359_p0634a11笑語頻,好箇圓通門大啟,知音不必更叮嚀。到者裏,J36nB359_p0634a12不許思量,那容計較?若是頂門眼開、腳下線斷,自然J36nB359_p0634a13翻身北斗、轉步南辰,眉毛掛劍、銀漢乘槎,處處興無J36nB359_p0634a14緣之慈、時時作不請之友,奇特中現大奇特、殊勝裏J36nB359_p0634a15為大殊勝,直教佛祖無處摸索,凡情豈能測度?雖然,J36nB359_p0634a16更有一人常在途中不離家舍,不離家舍常在途中,J36nB359_p0634a17且道誰是其人?」顧左右,喝一喝,下座。
J36nB359_p0634a18至晟溪利濟寺,請上堂。「大道懸曠,體絕修證。性海湛J36nB359_p0634a19寂,不立纖塵。那畔承當,守株待兔。言前領荷,緣木求J36nB359_p0634a20魚。直須掀翻鳥道,迥絕階梯。截斷要津,不通凡聖。正J36nB359_p0634a21謂別人行處我不行,別人住處我不住。到與麼田地,J36nB359_p0634a22一任奪猛虎食,抉驪龍珠。黑暗獄中,敲枷打鎖。餓鬼J36nB359_p0634a23隊裏,放火傾漿。正眼看來,總非分外。眾中還有其人J36nB359_p0634a24麼?晟溪浪暖春雷動,無限魚龍透禹門。」
J36nB359_p0634a25至烏鎮法眼菴,請上堂。「大眾還會第一義麼?適來雲J36nB359_p0634a26松大師為諸人一椎粉碎了也。具眼作家,向者裏一J36nB359_p0634a27見不須再見、一聞勿勞再聞,不唯大家幸甚,亦免遞J36nB359_p0634a28相鈍置。儻或猶豫,有箇補闕真言為眾拈出。木童拍J36nB359_p0634a29手忙歌舞,石女徘徊笑不休,正眼看來成底事,無端J36nB359_p0634a30屋裏販揚州。」
J36nB359_p0634b01至密印寺,上堂。「門迎緣水,翻性海之波瀾;閣聳青霄,J36nB359_p0634b02朗義天之氣象。性空鐵笛,響過白雲;高峰泥牛,夜銜J36nB359_p0634b03明月。果能言外知歸,何勞分明剖析?雖然,也要據款J36nB359_p0634b04結案。」豎拂,云:「夾路桃花風雨後,馬蹄何處避殘紅?」
J36nB359_p0634b05至雨新菴,請上堂。「初興蘭若地,花雨滿新林,屋後幽J36nB359_p0634b06禽語,門前流水音。頭頭正法眼,物物涅槃心,端的如J36nB359_p0634b07親薦,風光貫古今。」
J36nB359_p0634b08至喜宥寺,請上堂。「昔日,世尊在楞嚴會上語阿難言:J36nB359_p0634b09『晦昧為空,空晦暗中;結暗為色,色雜妄想。想相為身,J36nB359_p0634b10聚緣內搖;趨外奔逸,昏擾擾相。以為心性,一迷為心,J36nB359_p0634b11決定惑為色身之內。不知色身外洎山河、虛空、大地,J36nB359_p0634b12咸是玅明真心中物。』」喝一喝,云:「大小世尊好似扶鴨J36nB359_p0634b13上壁、牽驢過橋,不唯傍觀掩鼻,亦乃徒廢精神。今徹J36nB359_p0634b14上人請揚佛法如何施展?」豎拂,云:「黃金自有黃金價,J36nB359_p0634b15終不和沙賣與人。」
J36nB359_p0634b16立監院,上堂。「股肱社稷,唯憑赤膽忠心;黼黻叢林,務J36nB359_p0634b17要銅頭鐵額。能如是也,直得風行艸偃,玉轉珠回,賓J36nB359_p0634b18主交參,君臣會合,肅肅雍雍,熙熙穆穆,自然陰陽燮J36nB359_p0634b19而鼎鼐調,祖道興而宗風振。若是恁麼事,方得恁麼J36nB359_p0634b20人;若是恁麼人,方得恁麼事。」豎拂,云:「見麼?三腳驢兒J36nB359_p0634b21今又出,華林園裏弄蹄行。」
J36nB359_p0634b22結夏,上堂。「今朝四月半,千差都一貫,坐斷主人公,不J36nB359_p0634b23落第二見。果能脫體無依,何須蠟人為驗?縱有箇口J36nB359_p0634b24似血盆、牙如劍樹、用若轟雷、機猶掣電的,到者裏,華J36nB359_p0634b25林主人腳汗氣還未夢見在。且道淆訛在甚麼處?」良J36nB359_p0634b26久,云:「且待秋風起,為伊通一線。」
J36nB359_p0634b27上堂。「鷲嶺拈花,淨地撒沙;少室面壁,忒煞狼藉;負石J36nB359_p0634b28春碓,失錢遭罪;磨磚作鏡,平地掘井;廬陵米價,一場J36nB359_p0634b29話杷;雪峰輥毬,附贅懸疣;道吾舞笏,刻鶴類鵠;洞山J36nB359_p0634b30五位,白璧增纇;臨濟三玄,掘地覓天。從頭檢點將來,J36nB359_p0634c01都該喫山僧手中棒。忽有長老出眾,高聲曰:『和尚者J36nB359_p0634c02般為人也不得無過。』山僧向他道:『行人更在青山外。』」J36nB359_p0634c03問:「動則遍界生光,寂則乾坤失色。除此二途,如何是J36nB359_p0634c04尊貴一路?」師云:「幽鳥林端語,好風池上來。」進云:「當堂J36nB359_p0634c05嬾坐桐陰翠,階下慵行草色深。」師云:「舉目猶錯過。」進J36nB359_p0634c06云:「錯。」師云:「抬頭萬八千。」
J36nB359_p0634c07誕日,上堂。「若是父母未生已前以至那畔更那畔一J36nB359_p0634c08著子,縱是雲興百問、缾瀉千酬,到者裏祇教目瞪口J36nB359_p0634c09啞,分疏不下,除非是格外英靈開得隻眼一覷,覷透J36nB359_p0634c10從本以來無凡無聖、無修無證,參天地、育萬物,體包J36nB359_p0634c11法界、數越河沙,從古迄今靈然不昧。」豎拂,云:「祇如者J36nB359_p0634c12箇又作麼生慶讚?火中開菡萏,香不藉薰風。」
J36nB359_p0634c13立監院,上堂。拈拄杖,云:「綱紀以此而振,祖道以此而J36nB359_p0634c14彰,直得上下交參、內外和睦,揚岐燈盞重明於室內,J36nB359_p0634c15性空鐵笛再響於雲間,觸目荒榛化作千重寶樹,遍J36nB359_p0634c16地瓦礫翻為百尺瓊樓,不是神通所使,亦非法爾如J36nB359_p0634c17然。到者裏畢竟如何承當?」卓一卓,云:「從前汗馬無人J36nB359_p0634c18識,只要重論蓋代功。」
J36nB359_p0634c19上堂。「一念無為,千差坐斷,大地平沉,魔佛一貫。流水J36nB359_p0634c20滔滔,白雲片片,無去無來,非遷非變。本無老幼,奚云J36nB359_p0634c21貴賤?肚饑加餐,熱時打扇,一種平懷,覿體成現。如斯J36nB359_p0634c22告報,決不相賺。」喝一喝,云:「任從俊鶻突青霄,莫學渴J36nB359_p0634c23鹿奔陽燄。」
J36nB359_p0634c24結制,送法衣,請上堂。舉衣,云:「金鍼密密,錦縫層層,映J36nB359_p0634c25日月之光華,奪山川之秀麗。大眾見麼?昔日嶺頭提J36nB359_p0634c26不起,今朝檀越送將來。」搭衣,陞座,白椎竟,乃云:「封卻J36nB359_p0634c27拄杖頭,牢結布袋口,宇宙不通風,山河顛倒走。千眼J36nB359_p0634c28大悲祇好傍觀,八臂那吒安敢措手?縱是陝府鐵牛、J36nB359_p0634c29嘉州石象,也祇得魄散魂飛,毛骨抖擻。眾中還有不J36nB359_p0634c30在裏許者麼?」卓拄杖,云:「蝦跳不出斗。」
J36nB359_p0635a01上堂。「經中道:『或有世界以光明為佛事、或有世界以J36nB359_p0635a02音聲為佛事、或有世界以莊嚴為佛事、或有世界以J36nB359_p0635a03飲食為佛事、或有世界以衣服臥具為佛事。』且道弁J36nB359_p0635a04山者裏以何為佛事?」揮拂,云:「山上松,門前竹,青者青J36nB359_p0635a05兮綠者綠,昨宵驀地起狂風,七長八短各彎曲。咄!明J36nB359_p0635a06眼衲僧莫輕忽。」
J36nB359_p0635a07冬至,上堂。「雲凝大野,明暗奚分?雪覆層巒,正偏莫辯。J36nB359_p0635a08當此時也,直得地凍天寒,鱗潛羽隱,行人絕跡於道J36nB359_p0635a09路,漁翁罷釣於江干。雖然,也不得一向滴水滴凍、冷J36nB359_p0635a10冰冰地去。今日放開一線,只教寒谷陽回、冷灰發燄,J36nB359_p0635a11全彰佛性玅義,不落時節因緣。正恁麼時,是甚麼人J36nB359_p0635a12受用?仰勞大眾同到殿前,普禮三拜。」
J36nB359_p0635a13本空禪德請上堂。「一心本空,萬物奚有?不有而有,是J36nB359_p0635a14為玅有;不空而空,是為真空。」豎拂,云:「諸昆仲!且道者J36nB359_p0635a15箇是有耶?是空耶?若謂之有,不同有見、常見之有;若J36nB359_p0635a16謂之空,不共邪見、斷見之空;若謂之不有、不空,此又J36nB359_p0635a17殊矯亂相違之說;若謂之亦有、亦空,而迥異顛倒戲J36nB359_p0635a18論之謗。到者裏,縱饒四句齊驅、百非並遣,此猶是知J36nB359_p0635a19解宗徒;若到弁山門下,正好喫棒。眾中還有道得出J36nB359_p0635a20類拔萃的句麼?」喝一喝,云:「青林有雀安知鵠,碧海非J36nB359_p0635a21鯤不化鵬。」
J36nB359_p0635a22薦親,請上堂。「有情之本,依智海以為源;含識之流,總J36nB359_p0635a23法身而為體。」揮拂,云:「昨夜三更,凍得南泉水牯牛變J36nB359_p0635a24作雲嵒獅子,驀地哮吼一聲,直得地獄天堂、魔宮佛J36nB359_p0635a25國一時瓦解冰消了也。正恁麼時,向甚處著眼?一輪J36nB359_p0635a26明月家家有,九品蓮花處處開。」
J36nB359_p0635a27上堂。「峰巒秀麗,鶴不停機;靈木迢然,鳳無依倚。正恁J36nB359_p0635a28麼時,如何湊泊?眾中莫有湊泊者麼?」問:「法戰當陽即J36nB359_p0635a29不問,安邦定國事如何?」師便打。進云:「恁麼則一人有J36nB359_p0635a30慶,箇箇沾恩去也。」師云:「日下孤燈,切忌失照。」進云:「今J36nB359_p0635b01朝若不蒙師指,焉知化外有春風?」師云:「更須喫棒始J36nB359_p0635b02得。」乃云:「一拶一挨,一揚一播,諸佛頂𩕳寬,波斯鼻孔J36nB359_p0635b03大,分明不覆藏,軒眉猶錯過。不錯過,左轉右轉隨後J36nB359_p0635b04來,子湖要打劉鐵磨。」

J36nB359_p0635b11臘八,上堂。「釋迦老子於臘月八日夜睹明星而悟道。」J36nB359_p0635b12拈拄杖,云:「山僧拄杖子昨夜亦睹明星而見道,不料J36nB359_p0635b13釋迦老子於二千年後幸獲同參。忽有衲僧出眾,高J36nB359_p0635b14聲云:『釋迦老子三祇果滿,六度行圓,所謂天上天下,J36nB359_p0635b15唯我獨尊。且道拄杖子有甚長處,敢與釋迦老子認J36nB359_p0635b16為同參?』山僧但向他道:『你要見拄杖子長處麼?等閒J36nB359_p0635b17拈出無回互,千聖齊教立下風。』」
J36nB359_p0635b18上堂。「臘盡春回,萬里湖山呈舊面;雪消日暖,幾村梅J36nB359_p0635b19柳洩真機。明明聲色難該,歷歷見聞不昧。果能會得,J36nB359_p0635b20可以同塵異類,遊刃萬機,隨緣瀟灑,放浪無拘。雖然,J36nB359_p0635b21更有格外一關又作麼生透?」揮拂,云:「夜半金烏穿海J36nB359_p0635b22底,天明玉兔上松梢。」
J36nB359_p0635b23元旦,上堂。「自有佛祖以來,其說法者,鼓▆舌海口之J36nB359_p0635b24談,縱雲興缾瀉之辯,橫說豎說而不勝枚舉,唯有新J36nB359_p0635b25年頭佛法未曾有人說著。山僧今日直得倒腹傾腸,J36nB359_p0635b26徹底掀翻,總教諸人直下搆去。」揮拂,云:「勝日尋芳泗J36nB359_p0635b27水濱,無邊光景一時新,等閒識得東風面,萬紫千紅J36nB359_p0635b28總是春。」顧左右,云:「一任諸人貶剝。」
J36nB359_p0635b29元宵,解制,上堂。「柳陌花街,該徹威音那畔;星橋燈市,J36nB359_p0635b30全明迦葉門頭。」拈拄杖,云:「今日揭卻封皮、打開欄圈,J36nB359_p0635c01放出水牯牛,一任溪東、溪西;橫攜木上座,從教江南、J36nB359_p0635c02江北。或嘯傲於沒陰樹下、或徘徊於無影峰頭,舉足、J36nB359_p0635c03下足,莫非玄路;左之、右之,無殊鳥道。是則是,又古云:J36nB359_p0635c04『清光照眼似迷家,明白轉身還墮位。』且道:利害在甚J36nB359_p0635c05麼處?」卓拄杖,云:「莫守寒嵒異草青。」問:「結制已前則不J36nB359_p0635c06問,今朝解制事如何?」師云:「艸鞋暗咬腳。」進云:「人人猶J36nB359_p0635c07角虎,箇箇若飛龍。」師云:「拄杖慣磨肩。」進云:「弁嶽一枝J36nB359_p0635c08光燦爛,直教千古永流芳。」師云:「劍峽放木鵝。」
J36nB359_p0635c09上堂。「圓同太虛,明若杲日,金剛無以喻其固,劫石無J36nB359_p0635c10以譬其堅。寂兮寥兮,周行而不殆,獨立而不改,迥超J36nB359_p0635c11象外,恒露機先。大眾會麼?今日是東明菴主七秩之J36nB359_p0635c12辰,請山野為眾敷揚第一義。只如第一義作麼生敷J36nB359_p0635c13揚?」擲拂子,云:「堂前拋出大家看。」
J36nB359_p0635c14密聞禪師請上堂。「春風何太惡?吹坼百花萼。幽蕙吐J36nB359_p0635c15新芳,夭桃紅灼灼。喜氣動眉梢,華林不寂寞。報爾諸J36nB359_p0635c16禪人,於中須領略。急領略,莫把右軍鵝,認作支遁鶴。J36nB359_p0635c17大眾會麼?今是密聞法姪,不憚跋涉,遠抵弁峰,為眾J36nB359_p0635c18請法。若道有法可說,埋沒先聖;若道無法可說,孤負J36nB359_p0635c19諸昆。畢竟如何道得恰好去?○看取梅山山上月,剡J36nB359_p0635c20▆常照萬家春。」
J36nB359_p0635c21薦親,上堂。「佛真法身猶若虛空,應物現形如水中月。」J36nB359_p0635c22拈拄杖,云:「山河國土、明暗色空,適被拄杖子攪作一J36nB359_p0635c23團、混成一塊,無淨薉可分、無凡聖可辯。正恁麼時,總J36nB359_p0635c24教鱗甲羽毛、醯雞蠛蠓、艸木叢林、沙磧瓦礫,一箇箇J36nB359_p0635c25放大光明、作大佛事、獲大自在、證大解脫,以此盡孝,J36nB359_p0635c26無孝不盡;以此酬恩,無恩不酬。雖則如是,大眾還見J36nB359_p0635c27顧君先慈行藏處麼?」卓一卓,云:「花開碧岫山裝面,月J36nB359_p0635c28印寒潭水畫眉。」
J36nB359_p0635c29啟建大悲懺期,上堂。「相逢不拈出,舉意便知有。且道J36nB359_p0635c30知有箇甚麼?試說看。」問:「德山棒、臨濟喝,總是門庭施J36nB359_p0636a01設。祇如棒喝不到處,和尚如何垂示?」師云:「分明看取。」J36nB359_p0636a02進云:「一片湖光封素練,珊瑚撐破滄江月。」師云:「臘月J36nB359_p0636a03扇子。」乃舉拂,云:「大眾見麼?觀音大士來也,從聞、思、修J36nB359_p0636a04入三摩地,超越世、出世間,十方圓明,獲二殊勝、三十J36nB359_p0636a05二應、十四無畏,於中或現一首、三首、五首、七首、九首、J36nB359_p0636a06十一首,乃至一百八首、千首、萬首、八萬四千爍迦羅J36nB359_p0636a07首;二臂、四臂、六臂、八臂、十二臂、十四、十六、十八、二十,J36nB359_p0636a08至二十四臂,乃至一百八臂、千臂、萬臂、八萬四千母J36nB359_p0636a09陀羅臂;二目、三目、四目、九目,乃至一百八目、千目、萬J36nB359_p0636a10目、八萬四千清淨寶目。現一一形、誦一一咒,其形、其J36nB359_p0636a11咒能以無畏施諸眾生。大眾!若見大士來處,則知先J36nB359_p0636a12兄久和尚去處;若知久和尚去處,亦知丁公蒼舒、姚J36nB359_p0636a13公大雅落處;若知他二人落處,便知三界、九有、十二J36nB359_p0636a14類生,莫不一一皆具如幻,聞薰、聞修金剛三昧,共入J36nB359_p0636a15無礙圓滿大陀羅尼門。大眾,還信得及麼?如信不及,J36nB359_p0636a16觀音大士入隱身三昧去也。」喝一喝,下座。
J36nB359_p0636a17上堂。「《肇論》云:『夫至人空洞無象,而萬物無非我造。會J36nB359_p0636a18萬物以為自己者,其唯聖人乎?』弁山不然,有時恁麼,J36nB359_p0636a19將一莖艸作丈六金身用;有時不恁麼,將丈六金身J36nB359_p0636a20作一莖艸用。」豎拂,云:「大眾!者是一莖艸,丈六金身在J36nB359_p0636a21甚麼處?門外碧桃千樹錦,分明畫出武陵溪。」
J36nB359_p0636a22披剃,請上堂。「薙卻無明草,體挂福田衣,彈指離塵俗,J36nB359_p0636a23瞥然入聖基。本自絕修證,那復涉階梯?頭頭怕不昧,J36nB359_p0636a24念念莫相虧。明珠含蚌腹,菡萏生淤泥,世間於出世,J36nB359_p0636a25有為及無為,拈來俱截斷,撒手了無依。然此猶是衣J36nB359_p0636a26線下事,更有向上一機。大眾!要會向上一機麼?由來J36nB359_p0636a27佛法無多子,松柏經霜始見奇。」
J36nB359_p0636a28久默和尚十周請上堂。「五臺山上雲蒸飯,佛殿階前J36nB359_p0636a29狗尿天,剎竿頭上煎鎚子,三箇猢猻夜簸錢。者裏著J36nB359_p0636a30得隻眼,不唯覷透古人落處,亦知我先兄出世六年,J36nB359_p0636b01獨踞猊床、高懸寶鏡,舒長舌、瀉懸河,而未曾說著一J36nB359_p0636b02字;示寂十載,不動脣吻、匪現威儀,坐斷十方、不留朕J36nB359_p0636b03跡,而未曾離一字。非但十載為然,乃至過去、現在、未J36nB359_p0636b04來無量劫亦如是,去來坐立常演斯事而無懈倦。所J36nB359_p0636b05謂說時默、默時說,直欲人人披迦葉上行之衣、箇箇J36nB359_p0636b06坐如來法空之座,同登彌勒之閣、共入普賢之境。正J36nB359_p0636b07恁麼時,直得功成而不處、名遂而身退。及盡今時,寧J36nB359_p0636b08居那畔?呼回石女,打鞦韆於牡丹花下;喚轉木童,歌J36nB359_p0636b09雪曲於明月堂前。且道知恩報恩者是甚麼人?華林J36nB359_p0636b10園裏為靈瑞,破暗室中第一燈。」
J36nB359_p0636b11上堂。「運斤去堊,徒誇技能;煉石補天,轉見縫罅。若是J36nB359_p0636b12英烈丈夫,直須向劫前轉步、那畔搖頭,一任吐霧騰J36nB359_p0636b13雲、興波作浪。其道有也,纖塵不立;其道無也,萬象縱J36nB359_p0636b14橫。是以毘目仙人執善財童子手時,善財自見其身J36nB359_p0636b15往十方十佛剎微塵數世界中,到十佛剎微塵數諸J36nB359_p0636b16佛所,見彼佛剎及其眾會諸佛相好種種莊嚴,或經J36nB359_p0636b17百千億劫、或經不可說不可說佛剎微塵數劫。時彼J36nB359_p0636b18仙人放善財手,即時善財自見其身還在本處。果到J36nB359_p0636b19者般田地,不展眉睫而洞察秋毫、不假音聲而談超J36nB359_p0636b20四辯。雖然,若到弁山,猶在正中亭外,未見華林堂奧J36nB359_p0636b21在。要見華林堂奧麼?隔牆花影動,疑是玉人來。」
J36nB359_p0636b22佛誕日,德麒披剃,請上堂。「今朝四月八,咄哉小悉達,J36nB359_p0636b23纔出孃肚皮,便爾口叨呾。」豎拂,云:「雲門老漢來也。嚇J36nB359_p0636b24得黃面瞿曇戰戰競競,躲身不及,走向諸人眼睛裏。J36nB359_p0636b25大眾若摸索得他著,不除鬚髮而出家事畢,不搭袈J36nB359_p0636b26裟而尸羅圓滿;儻或機思遲鈍,山僧與諸人摸索看。」J36nB359_p0636b27以兩手掩面,良久,放手,云:「貓。」
J36nB359_p0636b28上堂。「釋迦老子云:『我於三七日,思惟如是事。』諸上座!J36nB359_p0636b29進堂已三七日,且道釋迦老子思惟甚麼事?者裏緇J36nB359_p0636b30素得出,可謂峻峭、可謂英特;若緇素不出,前面是山J36nB359_p0636c01門、後頭是佛殿,身冷即加衣、肚饑便喫飯,不用細思J36nB359_p0636c02量,胡為更打算?自家咬著舌尖頭,大事方知已了辨。J36nB359_p0636c03見不見?嘉州石象喫生薑,陝府鐵牛出白汗。參!」
J36nB359_p0636c04上堂。「壟上木童吹觱築,閨中石女繡花冠,韓盧咬殺J36nB359_p0636c05子湖狗,舜若多神笑破顏。此四句偈,有一句是正中J36nB359_p0636c06偏、有一句是偏中正、有一句是正偏兼帶、有一句是J36nB359_p0636c07正偏不立。餘即不問,汝諸人且道:那一句是正偏不J36nB359_p0636c08立?者裏倜儻分明,三七日內亦不虛棄。許上座頂門J36nB359_p0636c09具眼,可謂選佛場中一狀元也。有麼?有麼?」一僧便出,J36nB359_p0636c10師云:「禹門浪急難棲泊,幾許魚龍點額歸。」
J36nB359_p0636c11上堂。「欲識當陽句,分明覿面提,白雲隨出沒,流水任J36nB359_p0636c12高低。鐵馬追風遠,泥猿傍月啼,目前如薦得,無物可J36nB359_p0636c13堪齊。雖然,此正是閨閣中鍼線工夫,須知有大丈夫J36nB359_p0636c14出格之事。還知大丈夫出格之事麼?」喝一喝,云:「向者J36nB359_p0636c15裏薦取。」
J36nB359_p0636c16長興世珍魏封翁為子公錫會試,聞捷音至,請上堂。J36nB359_p0636c17「祖師門下,不涉功勳;選佛場中,高標聖境。高標聖境J36nB359_p0636c18且置,只如心空及第者是甚麼人?試出說看。」問:「龍驤J36nB359_p0636c19雨驟,虎嘯風生,正與麼時,請師接待。」師云:「扶搖浪激J36nB359_p0636c20三千丈。」進云:「幽鳥一聲朝雨霽,猿啼高樹晚風清。」師J36nB359_p0636c21云:「看取鵬騰萬里雲。」進云:「且喜今朝有慶。」師云:「有賴J36nB359_p0636c22證明。」乃云:「離匣寶劍,紫氣騰霄;出袖金鎚,寒光炫目。J36nB359_p0636c23其把住也,風雲變色;其放行也,宇宙回春。所以道:大J36nB359_p0636c24機必得大用生,大人必具大智到。者裏正好入廛垂J36nB359_p0636c25手,隨類現身,經緯天地,紛紜古今,發一機而頓落群J36nB359_p0636c26峰,露一境而橫吞萬派,可作三寶之屏翰,為大川之J36nB359_p0636c27舟楫。大眾!只如出類拔萃一句又作麼生?」卓拄杖,云:J36nB359_p0636c28「桃花已透三層浪,月桂還攀第一枝。」
J36nB359_p0636c29弁山退院,上堂。卓拄杖,云:「有時雷鍧電激、雲行雨施,J36nB359_p0636c30但知進而忘其退;有時月霽空澂、風恬浪靜,但知退J36nB359_p0637a01而忘其進。是以,機貴回互,玅在轉功,不得一向死堆J36nB359_p0637a02堆的住在者裏。雖不住在者裏,亦未曾離卻者裏,從J36nB359_p0637a03上諸聖不敢獨居此位。昔曹山辭洞山,洞問:『汝向甚J36nB359_p0637a04處去?』曰:『不變易處去。』洞曰:『不變易處豈有去也?』曰:『去J36nB359_p0637a05亦不變易。』所謂舒卷不落功勛,去來了無背向,此是J36nB359_p0637a06洞山父子行藏處。只如今日退院一句又如何?」卓拄J36nB359_p0637a07杖,云:「紫燕鶵成辭舊壘,午雞啼罷啄陰階。」
