崇禎六年十一月初三日緇素眾等請開堂至法座J34nB300_p0222a05以拄杖指云:「建法幢立宗旨須是寶華王座始得J34nB300_p0222a06若有路可上更高人也行。」遂陞座拈香云:「此一瓣香J34nB300_p0222a07上祝皇帝聖壽萬年伏願明逾日月德配乾坤。」次拈J34nB300_p0222a08香云:「此一瓣香奉為滿朝文武闔國官僚現前護法J34nB300_p0222a09宰官本郡縉紳孝廉文學伏願勳名上達祿位高崇J34nB300_p0222a10并今辰設齋檀越等共證最上乘各獲無生忍。」次拈J34nB300_p0222a11香云:「此一瓣香千生埋沒七載辛勤劈頭遇著辣鉗J34nB300_p0222a12三翻四覆末後重遭惡爐鞴七穴八穿爇向爐中J34nB300_p0222a13供養現住浙江明州天童堂上密雲悟老和尚用酬J34nB300_p0222a14法乳之恩。」乃就座參頭白椎云:「法筵龍象眾當觀第J34nB300_p0222a15一義。」師云:「若論第一義諦現前僧俗圍遶人物交羅J34nB300_p0222a16早已一時顯露了也金不博金水不洗水且作麼生J34nB300_p0222a17眾中有善觀者出眾相見。」僧問:「和尚開堂有何祥J34nB300_p0222a18?」師云:「光天化日。」進云:「還有向上事也無?」師云:「僧俗J34nB300_p0222a19交參。」僧擬議師便喝:「四面逼來向甚麼處去?」師云J34nB300_p0222a20者裏去。」進云:「畢竟向甚麼處去?」師云:「者裏是甚麼所J34nB300_p0222a21?」僧禮拜師云:「卻被四面逼殺。」:「雪風凜凜慧日洋J34nB300_p0222a22大開爐鞴陶鑄聖凡不假煆煉一句作麼生道?」J34nB300_p0222a23:「死蝦蟆。」進云:「古人不下禪床接人三門外接人J34nB300_p0222a24審和尚作麼生接人?」師云:「總不接者死漢。」進云:「恁麼J34nB300_p0222a25則臨濟宗旨燈燈續燄也。」師打一棒:「燈燈續燄事J34nB300_p0222a26如何?」僧禮拜師便喝乃云:「一見便見直下絕狐疑J34nB300_p0222a27得永得當陽生赫昱同明同暗瓦礫增光同死同生J34nB300_p0222a28虛凝絕謂直得大悲千手眼提掇不起鑑炤難施J34nB300_p0222a29無一法與人何用棒頭取證縱有千鈞力量也難喝J34nB300_p0222a30下承當還會麼若向者裏會得猶是從上舊規祇陀J34nB300_p0222b01今日開堂且道斬新條令一句作麼生道?」拈拄杖J34nB300_p0222b02開口便見膽開門便見山肚裏忒儱侗棒下太顢頇J34nB300_p0222b03撞著生鐵漢打破鬼門關。」卓一下遂舉:「今日護法東J34nB300_p0222b04郊畢銀臺贈偈云:『盡日無聲誦法華轉迷迷轉白牛J34nB300_p0222b05曹谿一滴無文字火宅原來是故家。』吾為說法者J34nB300_p0222b06下一轉語。」師云:「山僧亦轉一語以酬之。『一棒當頭轉J34nB300_p0222b07法華何須更要演三車從來不飲曹谿水到處谿山J34nB300_p0222b08是我家。』居士又偈云:『五千四百無文字端坐闍黎卻J34nB300_p0222b09轉全藏主教他從外覓鞠躬叉手竟茫然。』吾為聽法J34nB300_p0222b10者指一密因。」師云:「山僧亦指一密因以和之。『頭頭法J34nB300_p0222b11法無文字情與無情體用全珍重座前聽法者誰人J34nB300_p0222b12到此不安然?』大眾護法如是偈山僧如是和且道護J34nB300_p0222b13法底是山僧底是還委悉麼?」卓拄杖:「城市山林皆J34nB300_p0222b14得意廟堂艸莽盡王臣。」下座

冬至上堂:「欲識佛性義當觀時節因緣時節既至J34nB300_p0222b16還有識佛性義者麼出來對眾證據。」僧問:「最上一著J34nB300_p0222b17如何道?」師打:「枯樹重榮。」進云:「打碎銀山鐵壁。」師云J34nB300_p0222b18你向何處安身?」僧禮拜師又打:「如何是冬至境?」J34nB300_p0222b19:「臘梅今日放。」進云:「如何是境中人?」師云:「灑灑落落。」J34nB300_p0222b20進云:「如何是人中意?」師云:「癡癡憨憨。」居士問:「如何是J34nB300_p0222b21向上一著?」師云:「頂門突出金剛眼。」士禮拜師云:「大地J34nB300_p0222b22山河一印中。」乃云:「群陰剝盡斷送衲子命根一陽復J34nB300_p0222b23顯發當人機要坐斷兩頭滴水滴凍千聖齊立下J34nB300_p0222b24略通一線融雪融霜萬象咸提向上正當恁麼時J34nB300_p0222b25物外安身一句作麼生道?」良久:「歲寒然後知松柏J34nB300_p0222b26之後凋。」下座

臘八上堂:「從門入者不是家珍從緣得者永無退J34nB300_p0222c19釋迦老子睹明星悟道且道是從門入邪是從緣J34nB300_p0222c20得邪明眼者試出來斷看。」有僧出禮拜師豎起拂子J34nB300_p0222c21:「者箇與明星相去多少?」僧擬議師便喝僧又佇思J34nB300_p0222c22師打:「原來伎倆只如此。」:「不是從門入不是從緣J34nB300_p0222c23。」師拈棒打:「速道速道。」進云:「從者裏入。」師云:「前言J34nB300_p0222c24何在?」僧無語師又打:「無形無相覓不著時如何?」J34nB300_p0222c25:「卻打得著。」乃云:「今朝正是臘月八釋迦老子眼J34nB300_p0222c26睛瞎白日青天被鬼迷夜對明星將眼刮自家盲昧J34nB300_p0222c27堪憐引得群盲泥土撒一年一度鬧鬨鬨盡未來J34nB300_p0222c28際難合煞祇為當年遺禍根後來漆桶枝邊揠山僧J34nB300_p0222c29忍俊不自禁謹對人天大眾前。」以拂子擲下:「今為J34nB300_p0222c30汝等連根拔且道拔斷後有何消息?」合掌:「我不敢J34nB300_p0223a01輕於汝等汝等皆當作佛。」喝一喝卓拄杖下座

元宵上堂居士問:「十四日十六日未來正當十J34nB300_p0223a24五日乞師舉唱。」師云:「虧你者一問。」進云:「此猶未是學J34nB300_p0223a25人問處。」師云:「錯過了也。」士便喝師便打乃云:「上元正J34nB300_p0223a26月半那事如何判家家戶戶燈箇箇人人翫覿體弗J34nB300_p0223a27乖違何須重打算若打算眼睛烏豆換不打算……」喝一J34nB300_p0223a28:「當陽著眼看且道看箇甚麼四五百條花柳巷J34nB300_p0223a29二三千處管絃樓。」有居士出眾禮拜師打:「到者裏J34nB300_p0223a30一棒少你不得。」下座

師誕日解制上堂僧問:「古人道:『麻繩下水一步緊一J34nB300_p0223b02。』和尚如何解制?」師云:「因甚刺腦入膠盆?」進云:「解制J34nB300_p0223b03後如何煆煉衲子?」師云:「一任東去西去。」僧禮拜師乃J34nB300_p0223b04:「牢籠不住底直須透出牢籠包裹不得底始解打J34nB300_p0223b05開包裹今辰祇陀解制之日即山僧母難之辰諸人J34nB300_p0223b06若知祇陀今日解制底消息便會得山僧三十一年J34nB300_p0223b07前出母胎底消息若會得山僧三十一年前出母胎J34nB300_p0223b08底消息便會得祇陀今日解制底消息自他不隔J34nB300_p0223b09後不移同事同時同得同證頭頭無礙獨蹈大方J34nB300_p0223b10絆無羈自繇自在豈不是出陰界底漢超方外底人J34nB300_p0223b11雖然若到諸方不得錯舉還知麼丈夫自有衝天志J34nB300_p0223b12豈向他人行處行?」下座

大悲誕日余夫人請師入濟生菴上堂至法座前J34nB300_p0223b14拄杖指云:「維摩室內三萬二千濟生堂前不消一箇。」J34nB300_p0223b15卓拄杖云:「竿木隨身逢場作戲。」遂陞座拈香畢就座J34nB300_p0223b16上首白椎竟師云:「昔日博山親到此烏龍潭上浪滔J34nB300_p0223b17今日祇陀恁麼來楊柳枝頭飛掣電以何為驗?」J34nB300_p0223b18拂子云:「前後一齊收還有互相展演者麼?」僧問:「如何J34nB300_p0223b19是觀音壽誕處?」師豎起拂子云:「若將耳聽應難會。」J34nB300_p0223b20:「如何不是壽誕處?」師放下拂子進云:「如何是觀音J34nB300_p0223b21藏身不藏身處?」師打云:「截斷兩頭。」僧舉坐具云:「者箇J34nB300_p0223b22與大悲千手眼是同是別?」師又打云:「更要討添那?」J34nB300_p0223b23如何是觀音未生時底面目?」師云:「楊柳枝頭看。」:「J34nB300_p0223b24何是一念不生?」師云:「退後去。」:「有落常見無落斷見J34nB300_p0223b25和尚如何開示?」師云:「風不來樹不動。」進云:「遇著銀山J34nB300_p0223b26鐵壁如何向前?」師便打擬競出師云:「今辰蓋為J34nB300_p0223b27正得余道人因集生余居士以王事受難客冬入祇J34nB300_p0223b28陀林許願祈保居士無恙今因遠戍正得不忘前願J34nB300_p0223b29特請山僧入其本菴陞於此座舉揚般若以報皇恩J34nB300_p0223b30佛恩若論者箇恩德正得未興此念以前一時報足J34nB300_p0223c01了也何用山僧陞座鼓舌搖脣然後為報哉鐘不打J34nB300_p0223c02不鳴鼓不打不響生米煮成熟飯不可便恁麼休去。」J34nB300_p0223c03乃豎起拂子云:「觀世音菩薩降生也在山僧拂子頭J34nB300_p0223c04上現種種身說種種法以至十四無畏四不思議悉J34nB300_p0223c05皆具足諸人還見麼還聞麼有眼皆見有耳皆聞J34nB300_p0223c06以道家家觀世音其或未然……」擊拂子云:「觀音玅智力J34nB300_p0223c07能救世間苦。」遂舉:「昔有金陵俞道婆市油餈為業J34nB300_p0223c08參瑯邪舉無位真人話示之一日聞丐者唱蓮花落J34nB300_p0223c09:『不因柳毅傳書信何緣得到洞庭湖?』忽大悟以餈J34nB300_p0223c10盤投地夫云:『你顛邪?』婆掌云:『非你境界。』」師云:「昔日金J34nB300_p0223c11陵俞道婆有如是作略今日金陵余正得豈肯讓伊J34nB300_p0223c12惜渠夫作顛會今聞集生余居士在囹圄之中猶然J34nB300_p0223c13大作佛事與諸同志拈提公案酬唱古今似勝伊萬J34nB300_p0223c14雖然放過則不可集生居士回來也好與一掌J34nB300_p0223c15不是夫唱婦隨千古盛事仔細簡點將來山僧不合J34nB300_p0223c16教壞人家男女亦合喫一掌還有下得手者麼?」良久J34nB300_p0223c17:「如無山僧自作自受去也。」喝一喝卓拄杖下座
