J27nB193_p0239b04結制上堂。云:「諸方結制,無繩自縛。黃檗開爐,有屈丈J27nB193_p0239b05夫。殊不知,人人赤灑灑、個個峭巍巍,盡大地是箇沙J27nB193_p0239b06門一隻眼,紅爐向甚處安?盡大地是箇紅爐,沙門向J27nB193_p0239b07甚處著?向這裏覷破毫芒,銀山鐵壁靠倒、千門萬戶J27nB193_p0239b08齊開,了無長短高下、那有生死去來?少涉遲疑,火星J27nB193_p0239b09落眼裏,無數金針撥不開。一物礙胸中,烜天烈燄煆J27nB193_p0239b10難化。難化故,生死岸頭終不得力;不開也,尋嘗任運J27nB193_p0239b11未免糢糊。衲僧家急須著眼,切不可一日過一日、一J27nB193_p0239b12月過一月、一期過一期、一年過一年。嗚呼老矣、是誰J27nB193_p0239b13之愆?閻老師不是汝爹娘,牛頭阿旁不是汝弟兄,飯J27nB193_p0239b14錢設若少負,鐵棒便臨汝身。那時莫怪黃檗不為汝J27nB193_p0239b15說。是事姑置。且今開爐,徹骨為人作麼生道?冷時添J27nB193_p0239b16把火,熱時便撲滅。不是黃檗特地無端,要汝諸人皮J27nB193_p0239b17下有血。」下座。
J27nB193_p0239b18慶誕請上堂。問:「娘胎透脫一輪圓,箇中消息不用傳。J27nB193_p0239b19今日強臨登寶座,如何特地落言詮?」師打云:「不得出J27nB193_p0239b20頭。」進云:「恁麼則㘞地一聲普聞去也。」師云:「如何是㘞J27nB193_p0239b21地一聲消息?」進云:「和尚甚麼不著眼。」師便打。又一僧J27nB193_p0239b22拂坐具便行,師云:「遲鈍殺人。」僧一喝,師云:「好一喝,欠J27nB193_p0239b23主在。」僧無語,師便喝。乃云:「眠牛水草足,不計幾春秋。J27nB193_p0239b24報道娘生日,翻身向上頭。十二峰頭增瑞彩,水晶宮J27nB193_p0239b25裏正添籌,鎮海驪珠光燦爛,更嫌何處不風流。山僧J27nB193_p0239b26今日因齋慶讚,大似錦上鋪花。若論父母未生前一J27nB193_p0239b27著,諸人不後,我亦非先。大家聚首古皇前,無影樹邊J27nB193_p0239b28赤洒洒,沒陰陽地永綿綿。打翻浮世閒日月,萬古長J27nB193_p0239b29空一大年。山僧慶讚了也,未審諸人異口同音一句J27nB193_p0239b30作麼生道?」良久云:「一片德風流巖谷,祖山疊翠更稜J27nB193_p0239c01層。」下座。
J27nB193_p0239c02上堂。云:「靈鷲枝花,放出千紅萬紫;曹溪滴水,流傳四J27nB193_p0239c03海五湖。無限鱗龍隨波作浪,幾多俊俏摘葉尋枝。正J27nB193_p0239c04當此時,掀翻世界、鬧熱門庭則不無。只如香飄氣散、J27nB193_p0239c05雲盡水乾,且道蝦蟆遊蜂向甚麼處鑽簇?於此倜儻J27nB193_p0239c06分明,不辜親見黃檗一面,亦不昧行腳衲僧隻眼。如J27nB193_p0239c07未。切不可打在無事甲裏空喪天日。汝等諸人還知J27nB193_p0239c08黃檗苦口為人麼?偶來花下探明月,不覺東風過院J27nB193_p0239c09西。」下座。
J27nB193_p0239c10師誕上堂。師云:「法身充宇宙,慧命等虛空。念別溪山J27nB193_p0239c11異,心圓法界同。兩眸懸日月,一棒定蛇龍。者麼祝余J27nB193_p0239c12壽禹門正脈通,諸人還會麼?黃檗尋常如鐵橛子相J27nB193_p0239c13似,要且斧劈不開、箭射不入。今朝偶逢彌陀禪者,獻J27nB193_p0239c14一香齋,打濕唇皮,全身慶快,不覺示現,遍滿虛空。有J27nB193_p0239c15時怒吼,震動泉石,有時踊躍,顯煥山川。且道這個阿J27nB193_p0239c16師有甚麼長處,堪受人天慶讚?我笑青山高突兀,青J27nB193_p0239c17山嫌我瘦稜層。」下座。
J27nB193_p0239c18冬至上堂。問:「祖意西來即不問,冬至消息是何如?」師J27nB193_p0239c19云:「山山現瑞彩。」進云:「恁麼則鷓鴣啼處百花新。」師打J27nB193_p0239c20云:「句句斷人腸。」乃云:「陰陽未判之先,逴得便行,略較J27nB193_p0239c21些子;寒暑迭遷之後,強作主宰,有甚用處?脫有與麼J27nB193_p0239c22人,堪與佛祖為師。如無,山僧向人天界中放開線道,J27nB193_p0239c23應箇時節去也。群陰剝盡,法法歸根無欠剩;一陽來J27nB193_p0239c24復,頭頭仍舊風光足。南昇北降,東湧西沒,本自現成,J27nB193_p0239c25何勞鑽簇?豁開戶牖,海闊天高,迥脫見聞,山青水綠。J27nB193_p0239c26黃檗無端,分身遍野,明眼衲僧,合笑合哭。諸禪人!且J27nB193_p0239c27道笑箇甚麼?哭箇甚麼?」僧便喝,師云:「解笑不解哭。」良J27nB193_p0239c28久云:「繇來一段陽春曲,今古誰人和得齊?」下座。
J27nB193_p0239c29彌陀會請上堂。問:「六國進寶,王還納否?」師云:「是甚麼J27nB193_p0239c30寶?」僧無語。師云:「死回回。」進云:「請師著眼。」師云:「不值半J27nB193_p0240a01文錢。」居士問:「天上一輪月,大地盡光明;法王行遍處,J27nB193_p0240a02覓跡影無蹤。未審和尚如何?」師云:「月落後與汝相見。」J27nB193_p0240a03士便行。乃云:「茲者瑟江善信圓滿彌陀勝會,請山僧J27nB193_p0240a04陞座,舉揚箇事,以助預修西資之津梁。若論西資津J27nB193_p0240a05梁,人人腳跟下七寶具足,取之不竭,用故無窮。」乃豎J27nB193_p0240a06拂子云:「諸人還見麼?」敲香几云:「還聞麼?若也見得,彌J27nB193_p0240a07陀時時出現;若也聞得,觀音念念全彰。水鳥雲林共J27nB193_p0240a08譚般若,風柯月渚俱演摩訶,極樂一會,儼然未散。所J27nB193_p0240a09謂一處真,處處真,頭頭盡是本來人。一處假,處處假,J27nB193_p0240a10法法無非之乎者,等閒坐斷兩頭關,千手大悲難描J27nB193_p0240a11寫。山僧與麼道,還資助得彌陀勝會也無?」良久云:「踏J27nB193_p0240a12翻淨穢東西土,個個蓮花捧足行。」下座。
J27nB193_p0240a13羅山亙和尚至,上堂。師云:「進以禮,退以樂,暖日和風J27nB193_p0240a14響殿閣;出則弟,入則孝,青山綠水慶雲罩。兩相扣擊J27nB193_p0240a15破砂盆,千古長空浩浩鬧。若將耳聽終難會,眼處聞J27nB193_p0240a16聲無不到。汝等諸人,各各有眼,必也堪聞。且道羅山、J27nB193_p0240a17黃檗兩口無一舌,撞頭磕額,所談何事?夜半大陽輝J27nB193_p0240a18宇宙,天明黑漆布乾坤。」下座。
J27nB193_p0240a19戒子請上堂。師云:「善來佛子戒源清,願大行深利有J27nB193_p0240a20情。如月處空臨萬國,一人舉首一輪明。諸人還會麼?J27nB193_p0240a21只者心地戒法,人人本具、個個圓成,本來清淨、本自J27nB193_p0240a22具足,在聖未嘗增一毫毛,在凡未嘗減一毫毛。故我J27nB193_p0240a23雪山老人夜半睹星,悟云:『一切眾生皆有如來智慧J27nB193_p0240a24德相,只因妄想執著,未能證得。』雖然與麼道,悟則不J27nB193_p0240a25無,似乎話作兩橛。殊不知,離妄想執著別無智慧德J27nB193_p0240a26相,離智慧德相別無妄想執著,水漲船高,泥多佛大,J27nB193_p0240a27一明一切明,一見一切見,一悟一切悟,一入一切入。J27nB193_p0240a28苟能如是會,萬古無倫匹,不惟戒體圓,兼復生死息。J27nB193_p0240a29山僧今日真實告報,還有信得及麼?」良久云:「一副肝J27nB193_p0240a30腸懸瀑布,通身手眼露梅梢。」下座。
J27nB193_p0240b01元旦上堂。云:「玉曆初頒物物新,金爐靄靄起香塵,山J27nB193_p0240b02僧信手重挑剔,用祝明朝第一人。」乃豎拂云:「諸人還J27nB193_p0240b03知麼?秪此一毫,天清地寧,山高水平,如雷猛、如日明,J27nB193_p0240b04爍破千邦群邪之肝膽,獨耀吾皇一統之乾坤。山僧J27nB193_p0240b05與麼舉揚,還祝得君親也未?」良久云:「現前卓立如麻J27nB193_p0240b06葦,刻骨知恩有幾人。」下座。
J27nB193_p0240b07解制上堂。問:「雲水盡從今日解,一句作麼生道?」師云:J27nB193_p0240b08「眉毛八字開。」進云:「盡大地是箇圓覺期,未審和尚今J27nB193_p0240b09日解作甚麼?」師云:「為闍黎不薦。」進云:「不解不結,還許J27nB193_p0240b10學人毘盧頂上行麼?」師云:「腳跟下好與三十棒。」進云:J27nB193_p0240b11「恁麼則草鞋獰似虎,拄杖活如龍。」師云:「知恩方解報J27nB193_p0240b12恩。」乃云:「茲者瑟江翁居士,奉母林氏之命,特特入山J27nB193_p0240b13修懺設齋,請轉法輪,以慰慈親奉佛之誠,用固金剛J27nB193_p0240b14不壞之體。蓋林氏稟佛遺訓,過午十載,漸積淨財,供J27nB193_p0240b15佛及僧,雖處塵勞之中,不為塵勞所轉,而能卓立其J27nB193_p0240b16間,正所謂應以婦女身得度者,即現婦女身而為說J27nB193_p0240b17法了也。還要山僧說箇甚麼?雖然如是,今值元宵請J27nB193_p0240b18福之日,又是衲僧解制之辰,偶占一偈,以壯行腳之J27nB193_p0240b19美,伏惟靜聽。且喜良宵徹夜天,燈燈相續接先賢,聊J27nB193_p0240b20拈楖栗窮三際,略展眉稜爍大千。本地風光添瑞彩,J27nB193_p0240b21故園生意轉新鮮,豁開戶牖溪山碧。若個闍黎不悄J27nB193_p0240b22然。偈已說了。若也會得,大制已解、大疑已釋、大悟已J27nB193_p0240b23開、大事已畢,東去西去,無往不吉。然則吉慶不妨吉J27nB193_p0240b24慶,悄然一任悄然脫。有人問:『如何是父母未生前本J27nB193_p0240b25來面目?』汝等諸人將何抵對?」眾俱喝。師云:「陌頭一陣J27nB193_p0240b26春風起,動著威音那半邊。」下座。
J27nB193_p0240b27師到城山庵,請上堂。師云:「杖藜在處是生涯,撥盡春J27nB193_p0240b28雲絕點瑕。獨露城山天漢表,萬村圍繞法王家。豁開J27nB193_p0240b29淨眼看塵世,滿目青黃不是他。諸禪人會麼?既不是J27nB193_p0240b30他,是箇甚麼?若也薦得,左之右之、古之今之,受用無J27nB193_p0240c01涯,不妨法隨法行,法幢隨處建立。道繇人悟,道風普J27nB193_p0240c02被,恒沙普被。恒沙則不無,且道直截為人一句作麼J27nB193_p0240c03生道?」僧喝。師云:「獅子吼時芳草綠,象王行處落花紅。」J27nB193_p0240c04下座。
J27nB193_p0240c05師到鎮海寺,請上堂。云:「乘槎渡海,為求格外知音;策J27nB193_p0240c06杖登山,惟訪通方作者。遇知音,聲價益重;逢作者,大J27nB193_p0240c07道愈彰。道彰,普天普地,滿眼滿耳,通身遍身,無處囊J27nB193_p0240c08藏。聲重,於國於家,若長若幼,聞名睹相,悉皆皈依。故J27nB193_p0240c09能道滿天下,名垂百世,皆繇知音作者,遞相舉揚而J27nB193_p0240c10然也。今日山僧海已渡也,山已登也,且道誰是知音?J27nB193_p0240c11誰是作者?諸人還會麼?沒鼻眠牛橫海島,不須繩索J27nB193_p0240c12再勾牽。」下座。
J27nB193_p0240c13上堂。云:「學無前後,達者為先;道絕彼此,明之為貴。學J27nB193_p0240c14未至於達,所學奚益?道未至於明,其道罔然。罔然,則J27nB193_p0240c15業識茫茫,無本可據;奚益,則被物所轉,誠難解脫。諸J27nB193_p0240c16人還知麼?只如父母未生已前一著子又作麼生達?J27nB193_p0240c17死了燒了之後一著子又作麼生明?苟能直下坐斷,J27nB193_p0240c18兩頭歷落,生死不能籠罩,去住豈可遷移?所謂處生J27nB193_p0240c19死流,驪珠獨耀于滄海;踞涅槃岸,桂輪孤朗于碧天。J27nB193_p0240c20山僧今日偶到西院,北山諸善人虔請陞座,不覺逗J27nB193_p0240c21漏如此,還有明眼衲僧共相證明者麼?如無,山僧自J27nB193_p0240c22證去也。踏著南山動北山,洞明大事剎那間。善人不J27nB193_p0240c23昧山僧旨,收拾春風自去還。」下座。
J27nB193_p0240c24師到茶林寺,請上堂。云:「𩖼𩖼春風二月天,特來此處J27nB193_p0240c25訪高賢。一聲雷破三更夢,個個心開五葉蓮。殊勝偏J27nB193_p0240c26逢殊勝事,希奇果感希奇緣。滿城羅列金仙子,向道J27nB193_p0240c27西方豈不然。諸人還知麼?山僧今日所舉,不是因齋J27nB193_p0240c28慶讚,亦非順水推舟,乃從自己無差別胸中流出,與J27nB193_p0240c29諸人共證平等性智。汝等還信得及否?若信自己及,J27nB193_p0240c30便信得他人。若信得他人及,不惟信得滿城盡是金J27nB193_p0241a01仙,乃至山河大地草介人畜無非恒沙諸佛之數。所J27nB193_p0241a02以道:『是法平等,無有高下。』此便是釋迦老子三千年J27nB193_p0241a03前從胸中流出,蓋覆諸人了也。脫有人出來道:『黃檗J27nB193_p0241a04如是提持,看風使舵順水推船則不無。只如陸地行J27nB193_p0241a05舟,山頭起浪,施佛祖之爪牙,露衲僧之巴鼻,又未許J27nB193_p0241a06在。』山僧道:『也知汝是隻眼衲僧。何故?我即與麼,汝即J27nB193_p0241a07不與麼;汝即不與麼,我又卻與麼。大家扶起破沙盆,J27nB193_p0241a08托出人前分外好。』是事姑置。茲者山僧偶到茶林通J27nB193_p0241a09城,大德檀信虔誠之至,且道有何祥瑞感格如此?」良J27nB193_p0241a10久云:「杖藜到處皆清淨,家國閭閻盡太平。」下座。
J27nB193_p0241a11師到福善堂,上堂。云:「這個所在,乃是中天老人出身J27nB193_p0241a12之處。山僧今日入祖之門、陞祖之堂,杲日當空,心花J27nB193_p0241a13朗耀,看破老人赤心片片,脫體全彰。諸人還見麼?」豎J27nB193_p0241a14拂子云:「老人即今在山僧拂子頭上放光動地,堅固J27nB193_p0241a15一城福善之基,圓滿人人菩提之果。山僧聊舉毫端,J27nB193_p0241a16動著老人六十年前之本懷,始終一貫,首尾無異。所J27nB193_p0241a17謂一念普觀無量劫,無去無來亦無住。如是了知三J27nB193_p0241a18世事,超諸方便成十力。於此薦得,便能撐天拄地,作J27nB193_p0241a19大獅吼,普度有情,到於一切智地。不惟老人之願已J27nB193_p0241a20足,誠乃黃檗大事堪托。如未,山僧抖搜屎腸,一任諸J27nB193_p0241a21人怪笑。老人自離福堂,入黃檗,到東嶽印峰荊田,處J27nB193_p0241a22處建立梵剎,唯黃檗出入四十餘年,戀戀不捨者,為J27nB193_p0241a23重法席故也。至於行年六十有五,叩闕請藏,已圖不J27nB193_p0241a24朽,磨歷風霜,八有餘載。雖則身故,行願湛然,不無當J27nB193_p0241a25初,焉有今日?山僧特特尋覓老人出處,仍設牌位,不J27nB193_p0241a26忘其本。普願大眾年年此日爇炷名香,熏破老人鼻J27nB193_p0241a27孔、圓明自己心田,便是黃檗徹骨兒孫。然老人說不J27nB193_p0241a28到處,山僧今日說到;老人行不到處,山僧今日行到;J27nB193_p0241a29老人拈不出的,山僧今日拈出;老人用不著的,山僧J27nB193_p0241a30今日用著。更有種種未了之事,山僧一一為其了卻。J27nB193_p0241b01山僧亦有未了之事。請問大眾如何為我了卻?」眾無J27nB193_p0241b02語。師云:「啼得血流無用處,不如緘口過殘春。」復說偈J27nB193_p0241b03云:「龜毛拂子重千斤,掛在虛空待個人。磕著無情真J27nB193_p0241b04鐵漢,不妨拈起更尖新。」下座。
J27nB193_p0241b05師到護國寺,請上堂。乃舉:「昔有僧問古德云:『深山裏J27nB193_p0241b06還有佛法也無?』德云:『有。』『如何是深山裏佛法?』德云:『石J27nB193_p0241b07頭大的大,小的小。』」師云:「雖然與麼荅話,不失住山之J27nB193_p0241b08本分,要且令人向大小裏摶量脫。有人問山僧:『路途J27nB193_p0241b09中還有佛法也無?』山僧道:『有。』『如何是路途中佛法?』山J27nB193_p0241b10僧道:『覿面春風彌八表,峰前怪石更稜層。』諸人還知J27nB193_p0241b11麼?觸事而真,體之即神。就路還家,在處相親。以此資J27nB193_p0241b12身心,時時康泰;以此護家國,年年太平。然身心家國J27nB193_p0241b13亦非他物,若無鐵漢通身荷扶其間,則佛法世法那J27nB193_p0241b14到如今?大眾!且道通身荷扶一句作麼生道?幾片水J27nB193_p0241b15雲來護國,又飛杖錫到東金。」下座。
J27nB193_p0241b16師到東金寺,請上堂。師云:「為訪相知遍處尋,天風送J27nB193_p0241b17我上東金。到來坐斷千差路,不負殷勤一片心。諸人J27nB193_p0241b18還知麼?只這處所,乃是四公應真涅槃之處。汝等諸J27nB193_p0241b19人曾到這裏也未?如未到,必須到著,免被岐路所惑。J27nB193_p0241b20如到者,急須尋箇出路,不宜坐久成勞。所謂『百尺竿J27nB193_p0241b21頭坐的人,雖然得入未為真,百尺竿頭須進步,十方J27nB193_p0241b22世界現全身。』若也進步一著,高高峰頂橫眠,深深海J27nB193_p0241b23底優游,百草頭邊賣弄,塵沙界內打輥,無可不可,無J27nB193_p0241b24得不得。只如山僧前日離黃檗寓城山,過西院遊萬J27nB193_p0241b25安,訪護國上東金,到處之遶一遍,要且來無來跡,住J27nB193_p0241b26無住相,去無去所,不妨如是來,如是住,如是去。我為J27nB193_p0241b27法王,於法自在,我為法王,於法無礙。且道明日又向J27nB193_p0241b28甚麼處去?青山踏遍誰知己?收拾春風歸去來。」下座。
J27nB193_p0241b29辭眾上堂。師云:「八載住持受苦艱,呵風罵雨不安閒。J27nB193_p0241b30今朝帶水拖泥去,十二峰頭展笑顏。大眾!且道笑箇J27nB193_p0241c01甚麼?波裏橫行波裏睡,幸然不沒小江間。」下座。
J27nB193_p0241c02師到芙蓉,亙法弟請上堂。云:「黃檗枝枝秀,芙蓉朵朵J27nB193_p0241c03新,雖然舊面目,一見一番新。諸人如此會得,各各歸J27nB193_p0241c04家穩坐。脫或未能,山僧一一為汝說破。發明底人,可J27nB193_p0241c05大可小,能方能圓,重法忘軀,損己利物,舍我芙蓉法J27nB193_p0241c06弟者誰歟?山野丁丑歲開法於黃檗,法弟特來佐助,J27nB193_p0241c07仍令其徒董領院事,迄今雖未告成,其功十有八九。J27nB193_p0241c08茲者山野有天童掃塔之行,特造丈室,恭請主席,荷J27nB193_p0241c09蒙許可,則祖席必也重重光輝,魔外自然漸漸隱伏。J27nB193_p0241c10所謂一來一往,掀翻臨濟家風;一語一默,開豁人天J27nB193_p0241c11眼目。可謂盡善盡美,全始全終。汝等諸人於此會得,J27nB193_p0241c12黃檗、芙蓉在汝腳跟下。如未,莫怪黃檗、芙蓉謾汝了J27nB193_p0241c13也。幾片水雲彌宇宙,兩輪日月耀乾坤。」下座。
J27nB193_p0241c14金粟首座寮秉拂上堂。蔡居士問:「當陽秉拂,隆紹徽J27nB193_p0241c15猷。如何是克家句?」師云:「腦後一輪紅。」進云:「恁麼則金J27nB193_p0241c16粟一燈,炤天炤地去也。」師云:「不勞重讚嘆。」問:「到來不J27nB193_p0241c17見渠塘險,唯有薰風叩座涼。宗乘事且置,針芥相投J27nB193_p0241c18是如何?」師云:「一合相不可得。」進云:「百匝千重鋪錦繡,J27nB193_p0241c19祗園花噴襲衣香。」師云:「打開滿地紅。」乃云:「赤骨條條J27nB193_p0241c20絕所依,生平莽鹵不思惟,一椎打殺人無數,路上茫J27nB193_p0241c21茫若個知。倘有赤心弟兄聞與麼道,攔腮扯下亂椎J27nB193_p0241c22一頓,以報不報之恩,共助無為之化。如無,未免重新J27nB193_p0241c23漏逗,一任諸方怪笑。琦上座昔年向者裏打失眼睛,J27nB193_p0241c24帶累十方虛空山河大地、情與無情悉皆消殞,不唯J27nB193_p0241c25踏著佛祖正脈,要且人天瞻仰無門。末後無端,卻被J27nB193_p0241c26堂頭老漢一拶拶開面門,十方虛空山河大地、情與J27nB193_p0241c27無情仍舊儼然。所謂開眼也合著,閉眼也合著,滿座J27nB193_p0241c28薰風來殿閣;語亦是,默亦是,頭頭撞著自家底,渾身J27nB193_p0241c29無處可遮藏,敗露家風從此始。今日秉拂上座,八字J27nB193_p0241c30打開,滿盤托出,未審還愜諸兄本懷也無?沒來繇,沒J27nB193_p0242a01來繇,念年與佛結冤仇,一毫端上翻身轉,九十九峰J27nB193_p0242a02齊點頭。」下座。
J27nB193_p0242a03秉拂上堂。問:「世尊未出世,祖師未西來,何人演唱宗J27nB193_p0242a04風?」師云:「略較些子。」進云:「恁麼則山川草木無非佛法,J27nB193_p0242a05鶯啼鵲噪盡是祖意。」師云:「卻不唧溜。」乃云:「吳江江上J27nB193_p0242a06雲未起時,金粟峰頭雨已下了,均沾沙界、普被大千,J27nB193_p0242a07直令個個眉端堆雨露,人人舌上起風雷。盡道今年J27nB193_p0242a08春水足、春花好,人人俱得護身寶。預收蠶豆疊如山,J27nB193_p0242a09狼籍座前渾不掃,顆顆大似夜明珠,信手拈來無不J27nB193_p0242a10可。飽食橫臥碧峰頭,者段風光何處討。多口文殊讚J27nB193_p0242a11奚窮,令人嘗憶維摩老。好大哥,法說了,還信麼?脫有J27nB193_p0242a12性燥衲僧驀面喝云:『將謂秉拂上座,有奪食驅耕之J27nB193_p0242a13手、超群逸翮之談。及乎說來,好似三家村裏唱吧歌J27nB193_p0242a14相似,有甚麼妙處?』雖然被汝道著,要且覓秉拂上座J27nB193_p0242a15妙處未夢見在。殊不知,多虛不如少實、多言不如守J27nB193_p0242a16中。任君弄到帝王家,也是一場乾打鬨。還有一段吧J27nB193_p0242a17歌,一發舉似高明。塞外胡笳十八拍,城頭鼓角兩三J27nB193_p0242a18聲,等閒聞到傷心處,莫若村歌樂太平。」下座。

J27nB193_p0242a20崇禎甲申年,邑侯解學周同鄉紳等,請師於十月十J27nB193_p0242a21七日入院。至山門,云:「無門是解脫之門,從上佛祖盡J27nB193_p0242a22向者裏而入。且道琦上座到者裏又作麼生?剔脫有J27nB193_p0242a23無關捩子,腳跟在處便為家。」
J27nB193_p0242a24大殿基,云:「天為蓋,地為載,一道坦然平,四方無塞礙。J27nB193_p0242a25此便是萬福莊嚴之基,釋迦老子畢竟在甚麼處?」喝J27nB193_p0242a26一喝,云:「低聲,低聲。」
至J27nB193_p0242a27方丈,云:「據此丈室,千眼莫識,全提正令,雷轟電掣。一J27nB193_p0242a28棒按下,惡虎獰龍;兩片打開,青天白日。」
J27nB193_p0242a29當日眾請上堂。師至座前拈疏云:「只者便是邑侯解J27nB193_p0242a30公筆尖頭上放大光明,爍破諸人面門了也。若也覺J27nB193_p0242b01得,個個眉端增瑞彩,人人腳底盡風光。如未,煩表白J27nB193_p0242b02宣過,好事也要大家知。」宣疏畢,師指法座云:「向上一J27nB193_p0242b03著,千聖不傳,我今一踏,透頂透底。汝等諸人急須高J27nB193_p0242b04著眼始得。」便陞座,拈香云:「者一瓣香,爇向爐中,端為J27nB193_p0242b05祝延J27nB193_p0242b06今上皇帝聖壽萬歲萬萬歲。恭願帝德圓明,爍破千J27nB193_p0242b07邦皈一統;皇風浩蕩,遍充萬物各全彰。」次拈香云:「者J27nB193_p0242b08一瓣香,奉為滿朝文武郡縣尊官,伏願以德以威,家J27nB193_p0242b09國閭閻皆有賴;如雲如雨,山林草野盡沾恩。者一瓣J27nB193_p0242b10香,奉為本山大檀越,併現前請主、諸居士等,伏願福J27nB193_p0242b11海長流,永作皇家柱石;壽山增翠,長為佛法金湯。」復J27nB193_p0242b12拈香云:「者一瓣香,明如日、黑如漆、冤有頭、債有主。第J27nB193_p0242b13二次拈出、爇向爐中、專為現住海鹽縣金粟山廣慧J27nB193_p0242b14禪寺傳曹溪正脈第三十五世費隱容大和尚,用酬J27nB193_p0242b15法乳之恩。」遂斂衣就座。僧問:「前賢古剎久荒涼,師錫J27nB193_p0242b16已至放毫光。錫至放光則不問,如何是普利群生一J27nB193_p0242b17句?」師云:「杲日正當空。」進云:「恁麼則無一生可利。」師打J27nB193_p0242b18云:「汝腳跟下作麼生?」進云:「舌頭點地。」便禮拜,師劈脊J27nB193_p0242b19一棒,乃云:「莖草未拈,建剎已竟。片言弗措,法說熾然。J27nB193_p0242b20且道正當恁麼時,誰是說者?誰是聽者?誰是建者?誰J27nB193_p0242b21是住者?於此一一辯明,便見靈山一會儼然未散,福J27nB193_p0242b22嚴古剎特地重光,人人卓立乾坤,更不周繇者也。設J27nB193_p0242b23或未然,山僧簸箇驢脣,與汝諸人夢中說夢去也。一J27nB193_p0242b24向與麼去,法堂前草深一丈。一向與麼來,淨地上塵J27nB193_p0242b25堆三尺。一向與麼住,日炙風吹沒了期。一向總不與J27nB193_p0242b26麼,業識茫茫無本據。所謂法無定相,遇緣即宗;事無J27nB193_p0242b27一向,貴在人弘。直須向百草頭邊插得隻腳,一微塵J27nB193_p0242b28裏著得隻眼,腳頭腳底撥開線道,有時踢踏奔蛇走J27nB193_p0242b29虺,有時怒號驟雨旋風,有時顧鑒嘗光赫奕,有時嚏J27nB193_p0242b30唾珠玉滿盤。法法頭頭合轍,塵塵剎剎全彰。與麼也J27nB193_p0242c01得,不與麼也得,與麼不與麼總得。大人做處不尋嘗,J27nB193_p0242c02語默行藏莫可量。錯腳踏翻這片地,團圞瓦礫盡生J27nB193_p0242c03光。雖然如是,舉揚也是衲僧家嘗茶飯。且道今日開J27nB193_p0242c04堂福國祐民一句作麼生道?日日門開崇聖德,時時J27nB193_p0242c05渡口迎天恩。」復云:「山僧素志,本欲長棲巖谷,以遂平J27nB193_p0242c06生。秪因夏間特來省覲金粟老人,豈料傍觀覷破驢J27nB193_p0242c07頭馬嘴,驀鼻將來在此荒草場中打輥一番,不知日J27nB193_p0242c08後如何結局。還有勞形苦骨臥草眠霜者,請出與山J27nB193_p0242c09僧鼻孔相拄。」眾無語,良久云:「喜有青天嘗蓋覆,更叨J27nB193_p0242c10雨露濕全身。」下座。
J27nB193_p0242c11結制上堂。師云:「撥草瞻風為求知己。轟雷掣電顯發J27nB193_p0242c12大機。一棒趁不回頭,便是超群種草;百煉了無變色,J27nB193_p0242c13真成剛骨衲僧。其住也,端若泰山,巨靈撼而不動。其J27nB193_p0242c14去也,速如川流,良驥追之莫及。妙契寰中,意超物外。J27nB193_p0242c15於此於彼,無在不在。會中脫有其人,福嚴拄杖可賴。J27nB193_p0242c16如無,山僧聊向冰凌上畫箇牢關,與徹骨漢子共相J27nB193_p0242c17履踐。」以拂子打圓相云:「不得向者裏屙屎放尿,亦不J27nB193_p0242c18得離卻者裏別尋方便,不得向者裏齁鼾寱語驚群J27nB193_p0242c19動眾,亦不得飲氣吞聲默炤邪思,不得潔白地上賣J27nB193_p0242c20弄風月,亦不得暗裏藏身埋沒己靈,不得東卜西卜J27nB193_p0242c21承虛接響,亦不得障蔽人天眼目、紊亂佛祖綱宗。不J27nB193_p0242c22得論量他家杓柄長短,亦不得私販屋裏楊州。出得J27nB193_p0242c23數種圈繢,便是灑脫真人。雖然如是,好與三十拄杖。J27nB193_p0242c24出不得,也好與三十拄杖。且道新福嚴還有為人處J27nB193_p0242c25也無?」良久云:「全提殺活吹毛炤,佛祖聞風也膽寒。」下J27nB193_p0242c26座。
J27nB193_p0242c27元旦上堂。師云:「天無私蓋,地無私載,山無私藏,海無J27nB193_p0242c28私納,風雷無私發,雨露無私潤。以無私祝一人,天長J27nB193_p0242c29地久;以無私應萬物,草偃風行。十方慕道,四海歸仁。J27nB193_p0242c30凡有血氣,莫不尊親。而我格外衲僧,如何嵩祝?」豎拂J27nB193_p0243a01子云:「捧出無私新日月,大明千古耀乾坤。」下座。
J27nB193_p0243a02祝壽請上堂。云:「茲者本仁呂居士,請山僧陞於此座,J27nB193_p0243a03舉揚向上一著,以慶不惑之誕。若論向上一著,千聖J27nB193_p0243a04不傳,歷代祖師描亦不成、畫亦不就,叫山僧如何舉J27nB193_p0243a05揚?設若舉得,未免落二落三了也。然又不可無言,聊J27nB193_p0243a06說伽陀以遂誠意。伏惟大眾,各各靜聽。壽山歲歲青,J27nB193_p0243a07語水年年綠,返炤本來人,法身備萬福。滿堂春爛熳,J27nB193_p0243a08遍野花簇簇,幻化雖非真,悟為家裏物。大開胸臆包J27nB193_p0243a09虛空,細入盆中一粒粟。百千諸佛現毫端,各為人天J27nB193_p0243a10開眼目,同音共說妙伽陀,盡謂仁人壽堪祝。更願擴J27nB193_p0243a11充大道心,一念遍禮無量佛,生生不離婆伽婆,世世J27nB193_p0243a12嘗為法眷屬。我亦分身遍剎塵,塵塵已受供養足,仁J27nB193_p0243a13者信受而奉行,自然響應如空谷。偈已說了,誕已慶J27nB193_p0243a14也,還有不惑者,請出共相證明。」一僧拂袖而出,師云:J27nB193_p0243a15「大好不惑。」良久云:「春風來小院,何處不光輝?」下座。
J27nB193_p0243a16解制上堂。師云:「本自解脫,阿誰縛汝?本自清淨,何物J27nB193_p0243a17染汝?本自圓明,昧汝不得。本自具足,缺少甚麼?是汝J27nB193_p0243a18諸人自家底物,為甚麼不會?解結同源,縛脫無二。苟J27nB193_p0243a19明無二,何往不利。山僧九十日前,向者裏畫箇牢關,J27nB193_p0243a20直至今日無人跳出。猶恐遲鈍汝等,不如畫破,一任J27nB193_p0243a21十字縱橫。」以拂子畫一畫云:「破也破也。」一僧便出,師J27nB193_p0243a22云:「放出汝等,如龍如虎如獅如象,吒吒吵吵轟轟烈J27nB193_p0243a23烈,舉頭撞倒須彌,動足踏翻大地,揚眉爍破虛空,開J27nB193_p0243a24口吸盡西江。直饒佛祖當前,一棒按下。如是悟明、如J27nB193_p0243a25是作略、如是痛快,堪為瞎驢種草,不辜親見福嚴一J27nB193_p0243a26面。且今日功圓果滿,各各分證則不無。只如覿面收J27nB193_p0243a27功一句作麼生道?內外中間俱踢脫,大千沙界露全J27nB193_p0243a28身。」復云:「山僧去歲纔入崇德,程氏已獻最初之供。今J27nB193_p0243a29日一期佛事周隆,仍備最後香齋。可為全始全終,盡J27nB193_p0243a30善盡美。且道臨行轉身一句又作麼生道?泠泠語水J27nB193_p0243b01催瓶缽,𩖼𩖼薰風起杖藜。」下座。
J27nB193_p0243b02師到建寧淨慈菴,龍友陳居士誕日請上堂。僧問:「萬J27nB193_p0243b03象之中獨露身,三玄戈甲振叢林,三通金鼓四眾集,J27nB193_p0243b04凡聖齊禮法王身。如何是法王身?速道!速道!」師云:「金J27nB193_p0243b05剛不壞。」僧禮拜,師云:「速道!速道!」僧擬議,師便啐,乃云:J27nB193_p0243b06「一葉翩翩下建州,陳君此日正添籌。修齋普供金仙J27nB193_p0243b07子,瑞氣盈門八百秋。諸人還會麼?山僧今日借路經J27nB193_p0243b08過,未免因齋慶讚。若有就路還家、覿體歸元者,便知J27nB193_p0243b09山僧拄杖子本命元辰落處。若知拄杖子本命元辰J27nB193_p0243b10落處,便知山河大地、草介龍畜本命元辰落處。若知J27nB193_p0243b11山河大地、草介龍畜本命元辰落處,便知今朝齋主J27nB193_p0243b12陳君本命元辰落處,所謂天地同根,萬物一體。如無,J27nB193_p0243b13山僧一發與汝諸人說破。」驀拈拄杖,卓一卓,云:「會麼?J27nB193_p0243b14一聲雷覺三春夢,仁壽蒼蒼莫可量。」下座。
J27nB193_p0243b15師到神光寺,請上堂。云:「返炤玅峰誰與齊?三千剎海J27nB193_p0243b16露端倪。何緣吹到神光裏,惹得薰風一杖藜。諸人還J27nB193_p0243b17知麼?若也知得,別峰與汝諸人相見了也。不妨滿目J27nB193_p0243b18凝祥,一團和氣。淨佛國土,成佛子住。靈山一會,儼然J27nB193_p0243b19未散。如未,山僧為汝諸人落草去也。神光不昧,萬古J27nB193_p0243b20徽猷。入此門來,不存軌則。若順若逆、若佛若魔,物物J27nB193_p0243b21圓淨、處處分輝。所謂天得此而高明,地得此而悠久,J27nB193_p0243b22山林得此而峻秀,河海得此而競流,日月得此而朗J27nB193_p0243b23耀,風雷得此而猛烈,禽魚得此而飛潛,草木得此而J27nB193_p0243b24敷實。志士得此,榮宗顯祖。衲僧得此,耀後光先。悟之J27nB193_p0243b25者,直下神通玅用,不同小小。迷之者,竟日業識茫茫,J27nB193_p0243b26無有休息。迷悟且置。只如光未發時,無佛、無眾生,無J27nB193_p0243b27天地等物,汝等諸人作麼生會?」良久云:「拽轉驢脣歸J27nB193_p0243b28去也,了無話柄落人間。」下座。
J27nB193_p0243b29師到天寧寺,請上堂。云:「金剛寶劍,截斷生死根源;生J27nB193_p0243b30銕蒺藜,摟空無明窠臼。無明窠臼既空,盡大地是廣J27nB193_p0243c01大解脫之門;生死根源既斷,普世間是金剛不壞之J27nB193_p0243c02體。證其體,入斯門,便能入地不動塵、入水不動波、入J27nB193_p0243c03火不動燄、入風不動搖。通身是地,地不礙地。通身是J27nB193_p0243c04水,水不濕水。通身是火,火不燒火。通身是風,風不飄J27nB193_p0243c05風。到者裏須徹證一番,便知這箇三昧。所謂說到不J27nB193_p0243c06如見到,見到不如行到,行到不如證到,證到不如用J27nB193_p0243c07到。五者俱到,如龍得水,如虎靠山。如獅子吼,百獸潛J27nB193_p0243c08藏;如迅雷發,群靈咸覺。山僧如是舉揚,未審諸人還J27nB193_p0243c09覺麼?非但我今獨達了,恒沙諸佛體皆同。茲者山僧J27nB193_p0243c10偶到榕城天寧,耆舊虔請陞座。且道賓主互換人境J27nB193_p0243c11交羅一句作麼生道?」良久云:「胸清一帶長流水,目富J27nB193_p0243c12三山萬古春。」下座。
J27nB193_p0243c13薦嚴請上堂。問:「未陞座已前覺靈度畢,陞座之後更J27nB193_p0243c14作麼生?」師云:「未問已前荅汝了也。」進云:「幾不問過。」師J27nB193_p0243c15拈棒,僧轉身云:「一句了然超百億。」師云:「何須門外說J27nB193_p0243c16三車?」乃云:「茲者伯登何居士請山僧舉揚箇事,以薦J27nB193_p0243c17令尊。若論薦拔,居士未動念時,一坐坐斷,冤親坦平、J27nB193_p0243c18我人一致,了無生死之相,寧有去來之路?不惟一世J27nB193_p0243c19二親已薦,至於無量劫來尊尊親親俱已薦矣。何須J27nB193_p0243c20遠涉榕城、直入檗山,要山僧開兩片皮,說東道西以J27nB193_p0243c21為薦拔?大似隔靴抓癢,有甚親切?雖然如是,不可有J27nB193_p0243c22負孝念之誠,聊敘數言為慰,伏惟諦聽。百年如夢,誰J27nB193_p0243c23知身世本來空;一念圓明,炤徹死生無二路。逍遙如J27nB193_p0243c24出岫之雲,赤灑似騰空之日。週法界以無遺,歷古今J27nB193_p0243c25而不昧。雲歸只在青山裏,日落依然不離天。以此用J27nB193_p0243c26薦何居士,一超直入如來前。山僧與麼舉揚,還當得J27nB193_p0243c27薦拔也無?」良久云:「無限風光駒過隙,枝頭黃鳥為誰J27nB193_p0243c28啼?」下座。
