J39nB447_p0399c04文應運設茶。「孰把春風剪碎來,山堂夜夜共銜杯。於J39nB447_p0399c05中有箇搜腸訣,喫著令人夢眼開。」
J39nB447_p0399c06韓道啟設茶。舉杯示眾云:「會麼?」眾無對。師以拄杖左J39nB447_p0399c07右打,云:「山僧夜夜飲春毛,劈腹剜心為爾曹,總為爾J39nB447_p0399c08曹不解會,故拈拄杖打驢腰。」
J39nB447_p0399c09無邊林居士設茶。「俗筵以酒敘話,僧舍敘話飲茶。茶J39nB447_p0399c10酒雖然各別,要且事同一家。如何是同的道理?歲歲J39nB447_p0399c11農霜潑菊花。」
J39nB447_p0399c12黃相寰設茶。「數色名園果,一杯春露茶。大家同飲啖,J39nB447_p0399c13幾個不粘牙。」
J39nB447_p0399c14張恭人設茶。「山月似鏡明,杯茗如玉碧,消息在其中,J39nB447_p0399c15諸人識不識?若識,則寒山比的、趙州道的,無不冰釋。」
J39nB447_p0399c16熊有貴設茶。「昨夜焚香飲雀舌,今宵剪燭醉龍團,燭J39nB447_p0399c17光炯炯輝猊座,香氣騰騰噴綺筵。這冤家當陽即是,J39nB447_p0399c18轉念被瞞。」顧左右云:「還有不被瞞者麼?」
J39nB447_p0399c19吳可安設茶。「劫前那一段,猶如生銕片,若能嚼破他,J39nB447_p0399c20何愁不了辦?」
J39nB447_p0399c21除夕茶話。「處處梅花開似玉,家家爆竹嚮如雷,山僧J39nB447_p0399c22無別為分歲,一個清清茶一杯。雖然,且道是甚麼滋J39nB447_p0399c23味?若也識得,何夕可除?如其未能,明朝新歲。」
J39nB447_p0399c24茶話。「昨日三十,今日初一,大家共喫茶,莫將口打濕。J39nB447_p0399c25若將口打濕,拄杖劈頭擊。」
J39nB447_p0399c26臘八茶話。「鐘停鼓歇夜沉沉,大家相聚喫山茗。其中J39nB447_p0399c27滋味如親識,不須天上覓明星。」
J39nB447_p0399c28熊居士設茶。師指燈花召侍僧曰:「摘取來。」僧無對,乃J39nB447_p0399c29云:「金牛喚眾喫飯,趙老呼僧飲茶,惟有山僧迥別教J39nB447_p0399c30人摘取燈花。且道與二尊宿相去多少?」維那云:「不隔J39nB447_p0400a01一些。」師起身云:「謝熊居士茶。」
J39nB447_p0400a02中秋茶話。「靄靄白雲垂逕岸,飄飄黃葉落江濱,五湖J39nB447_p0400a03衲子齊雲集,一個盃中月一輪。」以拂子打圓相,下座。
J39nB447_p0400a04解制茶話。「自從結制九旬來,夜夜烹茶共舉杯,獨有J39nB447_p0400a05今宵分外別,震威一喝吼如雷。」喝一喝,云:「聞麼?若也J39nB447_p0400a06聞得,始知十月十五布袋未曾結卻,正月十五布袋J39nB447_p0400a07未曾解開。」
J39nB447_p0400a08端午茶話。「日日橫談豎說,朝朝捏聚打開,與麼漏逗J39nB447_p0400a09無別,要透祖意西來。如何是祖意西來?角黍堆盤茶J39nB447_p0400a10滿杯。」
J39nB447_p0400a11瑞麟居士設茶。「經餘田舍煙村,歷遍山巔麓足。劫前J39nB447_p0400a12一片信心,特從這裏拈出。如何是瑞麟居士的信心?J39nB447_p0400a13杯裏新茗碧如玉。」
J39nB447_p0400a14孔居士設茶。「白雪浮甌撲鼻香,飲著風生兩腋涼。滋J39nB447_p0400a15味雖然只這是,定要當人親口嘗。」
J39nB447_p0400a16茶話。「莫管雀舌龍團,只須信口喫去。咬著趙州道的,J39nB447_p0400a17頓令生死瞥地。」
J39nB447_p0400a18秦繼淳設茶。「風自清兮雲自淡,檀那信手煎團片。莫J39nB447_p0400a19教徒飲月明前,要識香甜那一段。」
J39nB447_p0400a20林自奇設茶。「檀越設茶請開示,啟口奈乎無一字。」以J39nB447_p0400a21拂子畫圓相,云:「直須嚼碎這些兒,弄箸舉杯無不是。」
J39nB447_p0400a22寶山設茶。師以拂子畫圓相,云:「秪這箇不從雨前摘J39nB447_p0400a23來,亦非鼎中煎出,有人喫著些兒,憑教通身換骨。」
J39nB447_p0400a24中秋設茶。「中秋佳節是今夕,監院設茶普請喫,芝麻J39nB447_p0400a25餅比月輪圓,不必區區天上覓是夜無月。」
佛事
J39nB447_p0400a27大興寺為本師靈隱老人舉哀。「不違悲願降南閻,幾J39nB447_p0400a28向煙波駕銕舡,焂爾西攜隻履去,泥牛石虎盡潛然。J39nB447_p0400a29恭惟本師老人,道明日月,德合乾坤,住世四十三秋,J39nB447_p0400a30利生一十七載。神機迅捷,劈開荊棘路,海口讚不能;J39nB447_p0400b01慧辯幽玄,坐斷是非關,佛眼覷不見。棒似三春之雨,J39nB447_p0400b02喝如五夜之雷,指月印可禪心,拈花流通正眼。在處J39nB447_p0400b03抽釘拔楔,不離本分鉗鎚;隨方打鎖敲枷,詎越單傳J39nB447_p0400b04旨趣?將謂萬世法幢,不期一朝撒手,以至人天失仰,J39nB447_p0400b05龍象無依,竹帶煙愁,花含露淚。雖然,大眾還知吾師J39nB447_p0400b06去處麼?如是,則知淨法界身本不生滅,大悲願力示J39nB447_p0400b07有去來。倘或未知,不免白雪半甌,枯煙一瓣,換手搥J39nB447_p0400b08胸,哀聲不斷。」
J39nB447_p0400b09為月用髮翁起龕。以杖擊龕云:「棒頭開正眼。」喝一喝J39nB447_p0400b10云:「喝下悟無生,一月千江印,風光遍界明。正恁麼時,J39nB447_p0400b11起龕一句作麼生道?東澗水流西澗水,南山雲送北J39nB447_p0400b12山雲。」卓拄杖,引之而出。
J39nB447_p0400b13為法兄大慈和尚起龕。「碧桃吐玉,翠柳拖金,雨灑如J39nB447_p0400b14膏,雲飛似鶴。」召大眾云:「且道是乾坤現瑞之時、吾兄J39nB447_p0400b15撒手之際?者裏分析得出,始知吾兄不來相而來、不J39nB447_p0400b16去相而去;其或未然,殃及兩堂雲水客,一聲佛送翠J39nB447_p0400b17微西。」卓拄杖,引之而出。
J39nB447_p0400b18為母歸元尼舉哀。「毀形終志在林泉,共話無生幾度J39nB447_p0400b19年?今日功圓先我去,獨留孤月照溪邊。恭惟生母歸J39nB447_p0400b20元比丘尼,七旬寄世,六臘披緇,淡泊同甘,寂寥共守。J39nB447_p0400b21比望舞彩長年,承歡永日,不意花收果熟,行滿功成,J39nB447_p0400b22致使木人傷感,石女悲思。今則香焚寶鼎,燭耀雲龕,J39nB447_p0400b23公案現成,應須剖決。」遂指龕召大眾云:「還知我母不J39nB447_p0400b24來而來、不去而去麼?若也知得,何哀可舉?何白可披?J39nB447_p0400b25脫或未能,只得厚著本來真面目,且隨世諦哭哀哀。」
J39nB447_p0400b26起龕。「謖謖寒風拂面來,紛紛白雪凌空散,十方龍象J39nB447_p0400b27悉雲臨,同送我慈登覺岸。」卓杖,引之而出。
J39nB447_p0400b28入塔。以杖擊塔頂,云:「無鬚鎖子透出,無縫塔門開已,J39nB447_p0400b29我慈七十生緣,今日收歸者裏。」遂投骨掩塔戶,云:「大J39nB447_p0400b30眾!還知我慈受用處麼?峰巒萬疊千秋供,日月兩輪J39nB447_p0400c01億載燈。」
J39nB447_p0400c02到晉寧盤龍蓮峰大慧照禪師塔前拈香。「參明趙老J39nB447_p0400c03一無字,結得如來三世冤,脫去盤龍四百載,山青水J39nB447_p0400c04綠尚依然。恭惟盤龍具足堂上蓮峰大慧照禪師,元J39nB447_p0400c05代禪宗,南滇寶筏,直指之風匪化而化,單傳之道不J39nB447_p0400c06弘而弘,致令蒼山洱水聞風稽首,碧雞金馬聽令傾J39nB447_p0400c07誠,所以光綿具足,瑞永盤龍。不肖某雖生異世,要且J39nB447_p0400c08同風,敢問大眾畢竟以何為驗?」遂拈香云:「須知綠水J39nB447_p0400c09皆涵月,莫謂青山不鎖雲。」
J39nB447_p0400c10到雞山迦葉殿拈香。「踏開無數雲山,經了許多風雨,J39nB447_p0400c11誰知金色頭陀原來只在者裏?」顏左右云:「見麼?若也J39nB447_p0400c12見得,則正法眼藏也在者裏,涅盤玅心亦在者裏;不J39nB447_p0400c13然,只得拈香一瓣,倒身三禮。」拈香展禮竟,復頌云:「一J39nB447_p0400c14自花枝信手拈,破顏微笑荷單傳,金襴委付真風迥,J39nB447_p0400c15玉偈流通玅旨玄。非但竺乾燈焰焰,還教震旦派綿J39nB447_p0400c16綿,不因遠繼瞿曇脈,詎敢來茲若是宣?」
J39nB447_p0400c17剃度。「吹毛寶劍白如銀,拔出當陽孰敢親。非但剃除J39nB447_p0400c18鬚與髮,頓教當下絕根塵。」
J39nB447_p0400c19剃度。「三寸金刀不等閒,拈來光焰逼人寒,與麼一掃J39nB447_p0400c20煙雲盡,孤月珊珊當下圓。」
J39nB447_p0400c21剃度。「子母多年求出塵,大都有願在吾門。今朝剪去J39nB447_p0400c22堂前草,一色花開劫外春。」
J39nB447_p0400c23盂蘭會放生。「風敲桐葉凌青漢,露點芙蓉綻碧池,眼J39nB447_p0400c24底分明絕蓋覆,眾生自是路頭迷。今日是我闔郡檀J39nB447_p0400c25那并諸山禪德,於一毫端建茲勝會,敦請山僧說大J39nB447_p0400c26法要,為諸含識直指路頭。」遂以拄杖當頭一劃,云:「還J39nB447_p0400c27識此個路頭麼?若也識得,始知盡虛空是清淨身,遍J39nB447_p0400c28法界是直截路,勿論鱗甲羽毛俱成正覺,胎卵濕化J39nB447_p0400c29共證真常,說甚麼迷之與悟、升之與沉?所以道:心同J39nB447_p0400c30虛空界,示等虛空法,證得虛空時,無是無非法。且乘J39nB447_p0401a01時信步一句作麼坐道?鐘鼓輕敲聞遠近,香雲靉靆J39nB447_p0401a02覆高低。」遂放生,云:「當陽揭示無遮障,透出從教任所J39nB447_p0401a03之。」
J39nB447_p0401a04盂蘭會放生。以拄杖打圓相,云:「會麼?這裏會得便會,J39nB447_p0401a05三點如星象,橫鉤似月斜,披毛從此得,成佛也由他。J39nB447_p0401a06脫或未會,不免刻水成文去也。」以拄杖卓左邊,云:「這J39nB447_p0401a07是披毛戴角。」卓右邊,云:「這是成佛作祖的。當陽如J39nB447_p0401a08委悉,不用別尋思。到這境界,無一眾生不開正眼,無J39nB447_p0401a09一眾生不入圓明。既然如是,只如今日指破破頭,信J39nB447_p0401a10步還鄉一句作麼生道?頭頭盡是菩提路,處處無非J39nB447_p0401a11極樂天。」遂放生,云:「當下翻身驀直去,更嫌何處不超J39nB447_p0401a12然?」
J39nB447_p0401a13為慈容舉火。「昨夜一天月,今日滿山雪,消息甚分明,J39nB447_p0401a14慈禪徹未徹?若也徹,始知無去無來、非生非滅;脫或J39nB447_p0401a15未能,不免放出火光與伊直下剿絕。」攛下火炬,云:「信J39nB447_p0401a16步莫教遲,徑入無生國。」
J39nB447_p0401a17為靜覺起龕。以拄杖劃一劃,云:「來從此來,去從此去,J39nB447_p0401a18撩起便行,莫教擬議。」卓拄杖,引之而出。
J39nB447_p0401a19舉火。「解開冬月襖,脫卻夏天衫。」下火云:「火滅煙消後,J39nB447_p0401a20新新一朵蓮。」
J39nB447_p0401a21為聖先起龕。以拄杖擊龕,云:「劈開生死機關。」劃一劃,J39nB447_p0401a22云:「劃斷去來道路。翩翩隻履如飛,佛也留他不住。」卓J39nB447_p0401a23拄杖,引之而出。
J39nB447_p0401a24舉火。「披風度雨入滇邦,為禮雞山古道場,剛欲攜笻J39nB447_p0401a25旋浙水,不期撒手在龍陽。」以火炬打圓相,云:「聖先!聖J39nB447_p0401a26先!還會不隔處麼?倘若會得,始知頭頭本國、處處故J39nB447_p0401a27鄉,說甚麼山遙海闊、路遠天長?脫或未能,直須火裏J39nB447_p0401a28翻觔斗,自然隨處得風光。」遂攛下火炬。
J39nB447_p0401a29為淨月侍者起龕。「侍我巾瓶十八年,幾經辣掌與麤J39nB447_p0401a30拳,不期撒手東山上,脫體風光淨月圓。雖然若是,且J39nB447_p0401b01轉身吐氣一句又作麼生?普請大家出隻手,扶起死J39nB447_p0401b02中不死人。」遂以拄杖擊龕,引之而出。
J39nB447_p0401b03為東山知如髮師舉哀。「一從違座入南滇,雁杳魚沉J39nB447_p0401b04十四年,今日歸來進菽水,不期隻履又西還。蒼天!蒼J39nB447_p0401b05天!何得了緣太速、撒手甚忙?致令捨身巖搥胸震地,J39nB447_p0401b06來仙硐跌足驚天。雖然若是,大眾還知吾師生滅無J39nB447_p0401b07于、去來不礙處麼?設或未知,不免一瓣枯煙拈鼎內,J39nB447_p0401b08兩行酸淚落龕前。」
J39nB447_p0401b09起龕。「峰頭雪化寒初解,澗底冰消暖乍還,普請緇流J39nB447_p0401b10齊合十,送師直上涅槃山。」卓拄杖,引之而出。
J39nB447_p0401b11入塔。「嶺外西風瑟瑟來,林間黃葉飄飄落,驀然無縫J39nB447_p0401b12塔門開。」遂入骨,云:「收取吾師這一著。」
J39nB447_p0401b13為清傳沙彌舉火。「傳沙彌,傳沙彌,生受吾教育,死受J39nB447_p0401b14吾提持。」顧左右,云:「生死且置,且道教育提持個甚麼?」J39nB447_p0401b15以火把打圓相,云:「還委悉也未?若能委悉,始知生死J39nB447_p0401b16不能縛,來去不能羈;其或未然,不免當陽撥出性空J39nB447_p0401b17火,徑送西方八德池。」遂攛下火炬。
J39nB447_p0401b18為法兄西竺和尚起龕。師以杖擊龕,云:「棒敲桐葉和J39nB447_p0401b19雲墜。」喝一喝,云:「喝震蘆花映水開,無限秋光留不住,J39nB447_p0401b20翩翩隻履向西迴。恭惟法兄西竺和尚,心清水月,性J39nB447_p0401b21潔冰壺,掩關藥王宮中,頓空知見;續燈普門堂上,歡J39nB447_p0401b22忭人天。孤峻處,似峰巒卓爾;瀟灑處,如雲鶴飄然。所J39nB447_p0401b23以,緣結宰官,名喧宇宙,將謂長光濟道,豈期信步蓮J39nB447_p0401b24邦?雖然示有去來,要且本無生滅。不見道:處生死流,J39nB447_p0401b25驪珠獨耀於滄海;踞涅槃岸,桂輪孤朗於碧天。正恁J39nB447_p0401b26麼時,如何是發送雲龕一句?兩班仙樂驚雲漢,一路J39nB447_p0401b27香煙擁稻畦,高舉洪名六字號,大家相送過前溪。」卓J39nB447_p0401b28杖,引之而出。
J39nB447_p0401b29入塔。師以拂子指塔云:「這無縫塔本自成現,不假功J39nB447_p0401b30勛,磨風雨而不磷,亙古今而不壞,是故三世能仁以J39nB447_p0401c01之收因結果,歷代開士以之倒臥橫眼,今我西兄和J39nB447_p0401c02尚以之潛縱斂跡。敢問大眾:未審此塔從甚麼處出J39nB447_p0401c03現,而能有如此之殊勝奇特?若檢點得出,始知此塔J39nB447_p0401c04人人本有、個個不無,曠大劫來於其中間出入無礙。J39nB447_p0401c05如其不爾,且看據款結案,群峰聳翠如屏,一水拖藍J39nB447_p0401c06若帶。」遂入骨掩塔戶云:「全身放下其中,永證金剛不J39nB447_p0401c07壞。」
J39nB447_p0401c08為潘憲玉鉉柯護法舉火。「七年美政播全黔,民亦安J39nB447_p0401c09兮國亦安,不意功圓撒手去,人非人等盡潸然。恭惟J39nB447_p0401c10玉翁柯大檀越,貴陽方伯,佛國金湯,舒補袞調羹之J39nB447_p0401c11手,扶天南半壁;運即此證彼之心,輔濟北一宗。殘黎J39nB447_p0401c12託以庇庥,荒徼仗其膏澤,所以聲揚萬里,名聞九重,J39nB447_p0401c13將謂福星永照,豈期竺國俄歸?非惟方袍圓頂無以J39nB447_p0401c14具瞻,亦且黃童白叟失其依怙。雖死生非有,談到公J39nB447_p0401c15之仁愛,綠水青山悉皆哽慟;然來去本空,話及公之J39nB447_p0401c16慈和,蒼松翠竹莫不含悲。」遂以火把打圓相,顧兩序J39nB447_p0401c17云:「且道是死生耶?來去耶?倘若會得,便會玉翁柯大J39nB447_p0401c18檀越來去本空,死生不礙,雖官居二品不以為榮,祿J39nB447_p0401c19享萬鍾不以為貴,一一了於意地,般般空於眼根,任J39nB447_p0401c20性如如,隨情落落。脫或未能,不免將此性空真火而J39nB447_p0401c21與我公收因結果去也。性空真火實優哉,觸著些兒J39nB447_p0401c22燦九垓。」攛下火炬云:「今日為公親舉出,宰官身脫現J39nB447_p0401c23如來。」
J39nB447_p0401c24為厥中禪師起龕。師以杖擊龕,云:「棒頭花劈去來路。」J39nB447_p0401c25喝一喝,云:「喝下澄空迷悟機,放出衝霄銕鷂子,涅槃J39nB447_p0401c26山上撲雲飛。」卓杖,引之而出。
J39nB447_p0401c27為姜文達舉火。「石虎巖前嘯晚風,泥牛波底吼明月,J39nB447_p0401c28欲知非滅亦非生。」拈拄杖,云:「定要了明此一訣。然此J39nB447_p0401c29一訣,多少人不能當陽領會,直下荷擔,一味作空花J39nB447_p0401c30活計、幻夢生涯,殊不知富貴花間露,榮華水上漚。」復J39nB447_p0402a01拈拄杖,云:「惟此一訣,亙古今而不變,歷天地以長存,J39nB447_p0402a02放之則充塞太虛,卷之則不立些子。倘若會得,則石J39nB447_p0402a03虎嘯風全彰妙有,泥牛吼月盡露真機,又何生之可J39nB447_p0402a04生?何滅之可滅?其或未然,不免助汝性空一把火,霎J39nB447_p0402a05時煆出本來真。」遂下火。
J39nB447_p0402a06為祿藜和尚舉火。「祿公!祿公!常將兔角挑明月,慣把J39nB447_p0402a07龜毛束太空,恰好同撐如是道,豈期隻履逐西風?致J39nB447_p0402a08令法門失準、緇素無依,四山生慘淡之雲、萬壑結淒J39nB447_p0402a09清之雨。然雖若是,幸有來來實不來、去去實不去的,J39nB447_p0402a10為你諸人塵塵現清淨身、剎剎出廣長舌,還委悉麼?J39nB447_p0402a11若能委悉,始知祿公和尚涅槃城裏高懸慧日、生死J39nB447_p0402a12海中倒駕銕船,說甚麼雪解山巒在、花殘香骨存?正J39nB447_p0402a13與麼時,不觸生滅。去來則且置,如何是不負同門道J39nB447_p0402a14誼一句?一自相逢東嶺端,陽春白雪幾盤桓,今朝歸J39nB447_p0402a15去無餘贈。」下火。云:「惟助性空火一攢。火一攢,煉出圓J39nB447_p0402a16明那顆丹。」鼓掌呵呵便行。
J39nB447_p0402a17為嘯竹禪孫起龕。「若謂有去來,笑殺木人、石女;若謂J39nB447_p0402a18無去來,亦笑殺木人、石女。」拈拄杖,云:「正當恁麼時,還J39nB447_p0402a19是有去來耶?無去來耶?於此會得,始知我嘯竹禪孫J39nB447_p0402a20兩頭坐斷,中道不立,廓若太虛,明如杲日;其或未然,J39nB447_p0402a21引旛縹緲如龍躍,相送雲龕過碧山。」以杖擊龕,云:「起。」J39nB447_p0402a22秉炬。「力辭台嶺來,決志東山上,七載侍巾瓶,幾經喝J39nB447_p0402a23與棒,秪相他年繼我宗,豈期一旦失其望?致令山水J39nB447_p0402a24嗟吁,花鳥惆悵,休惆悵。」以火打圓相,云:「惟有這些子J39nB447_p0402a25不礙去來,不妨收放。然雖若是……」遂以火指龕,云:「且道J39nB447_p0402a26這些子著向甚處?」復云:「四大本來空,五蘊無非妄。」下J39nB447_p0402a27火,云:「盡情付與祝融君,鍛出真金無比況。」
J39nB447_p0402a28為法主矩度和尚舉火。「瑞木半天飛北嶺,梅花幾點J39nB447_p0402a29放南枝,霎然翻轉乾坤色,隻履西歸正此時。恭惟矩J39nB447_p0402a30公和尚降蹟滇海,披緇黔山,紹完公之衣缽,弘鷲嶺J39nB447_p0402b01之風規。經論講時,岌岌青山點道;毘尼演處,悠悠綠J39nB447_p0402b02水揚眉。所以,萬姓皈心,中丞贈偈,將謂百世慈航,豈J39nB447_p0402b03期一朝撒手?致令猿鶴舉哀,山林披白。正恁麼時,收J39nB447_p0402b04因結果一句作麼生道?白雲來去本無心,明月升沉J39nB447_p0402b05非有意,秪因覷破這些兒,把住放行無不是。」顧左右,J39nB447_p0402b06云:「還知矩公和尚把住放行處麼?脫或未能,試看火J39nB447_p0402b07蓮光燦後,一顆摩尼照大千。」遂攛下火炬。
J39nB447_p0402b08入塔。「這畔花收,那邊果熟。七十生緣,千足萬足。雖然J39nB447_p0402b09若是,如何是全身放下一句?」遂入骨,掩塔戶云:「一具J39nB447_p0402b10黃金鎖子骨,收歸窣堵不通風。凍雲幾片凌空結,梅J39nB447_p0402b11雪千枝四面封。四面封,金剛永證在其中。」復舉:「南陽J39nB447_p0402b12忠國師因唐代宗皇帝問:『和尚百年後所須何物?』師J39nB447_p0402b13曰:『與老僧造個無縫塔。』帝曰:『請師塔樣。』師良久,帝不J39nB447_p0402b14會。」顧左右云:「忠國師塔樣且置,今日有問:『如何是矩J39nB447_p0402b15度和尚塔樣?』山僧向道:『高著眼。』且道是同是別?雖然J39nB447_p0402b16一樣丹青手,寫出規模各不同。」
J39nB447_p0402b17掃髮師知如果公塔。師拈香上供畢,乃云:「三十二年J39nB447_p0402b18前何其恨多?三十二年後何其愛多?正當三十二年,J39nB447_p0402b19還是恨不肖徒的是?愛不肖徒的是?大眾試定當▆。J39nB447_p0402b20若定當得,庶不負先師抱死志於斯山,飛錦書而召J39nB447_p0402b21我,以至團圞三月,決別一朝,到此則三十二年前之J39nB447_p0402b22恨冰消瓦解,三十二年後之愛瓦解冰消。不然,未免J39nB447_p0402b23香爇一爐丹靄裏,茶傾三盞翠雲中,既然源本無忘J39nB447_p0402b24失,常寂光應照嶺東。」
J39nB447_p0402b25掃髮翁月川惠公塔。師躬行祭掃已,乃云:「一從拜別J39nB447_p0402b26堵波前,杖履南滇十四年,今日歸來拈帚柄,山環水J39nB447_p0402b27遶尚依然。如是,則知我師翁悲願猶存、常光尚照,不J39nB447_p0402b28肖孫今日拈一瓣香、點一碗茶,不過表其森森木本、J39nB447_p0402b29湛湛水源,至若恢弘祖道、模範人天,若非雙桂傳燈、J39nB447_p0402b30普門續焰,則東山門庭何以臻此?敢問大眾:且兩彩J39nB447_p0402c01一賽的句作麼生道?珊珊一月圓如鏡,半照寒江半J39nB447_p0402c02照天。」
J39nB447_p0402c03掃生母歸元比丘尼塔。「自別西城十六年,滄桑更變J39nB447_p0402c04意悠然,歸來且喜方墳在,苕帚柄兒重復拈。」遂拈帚J39nB447_p0402c05柄,顧左右云:「諸昆仲還會麼?於此會得,則難盡之忠J39nB447_p0402c06不盡而盡,難全之孝不全而全,說甚麼蓼莪之賦、風J39nB447_p0402c07木之悲?到這裏非惟解脫生身之母,則三世考妣、歷J39nB447_p0402c08劫親煙無不解脫去也。還委悉麼?但得豁開正法眼,J39nB447_p0402c09等閒何處不酬恩?」
J39nB447_p0402c10到旗山,掃本師靈隱老人塔。豎拂子,云:「祖道中興氣J39nB447_p0402c11岸豪,𧦳方無不仰風高,雖然隻履西歸去,尚有兒孫J39nB447_p0402c12繼祖曹。恭惟本師先老和尚法眼圓明,真風迥別,三J39nB447_p0402c13寸綿軟舌盡掃月露風雲,一腔慈忍力均灑香霖甘J39nB447_p0402c14雨,真度迷津之寶筏、開覺路之金繩。不肖福度親蒙J39nB447_p0402c15印可,恒抱慚惶,無一德之可長,曷寸念之能報?數十J39nB447_p0402c16年來雖弋龍釣鳳、琢玉追金,不過塞責門庭,未免玷J39nB447_p0402c17污宗教。今日到來,拈一瓣紫檀、奠半甌白雪,若喚作J39nB447_p0402c18酬法乳,卻被青山綠水笑;不喚作酬法乳,亦被青山J39nB447_p0402c19綠水笑。」召大眾,云:「還有證明得出者麼?」良久,云:「鷺鷥J39nB447_p0402c20翹足蘆花岸,一任漁人辯是非。」
J39nB447_p0402c21到天童,掃祖翁密老人塔。「淅歷金風卷碧岑,扶疏丹J39nB447_p0402c22桂放幽林,八千里外撥雲至,秪為水源木本深。」以拂J39nB447_p0402c23子指塔,顧左右,云:「且道是本源耶?非本源耶?這裏分J39nB447_p0402c24析得出,始知我祖桐棺山頂擊碎破沙盆、禹門室內J39nB447_p0402c25奪來斷拂子、金粟山中揮雨棒,非但澄太湖萬頃之J39nB447_p0402c26月;太白峰頭震雷喝,豈止安南海千丈之瀾?燈分十J39nB447_p0402c27二座,燈燈續焰;派衍十三國,派派流芳。所以,聲震九J39nB447_p0402c28重,風高千古。不肖曾孫福度今日到來,拈一辯兜樓J39nB447_p0402c29婆香,穿祖鼻孔,要與我祖結天長地久之冤、山高水J39nB447_p0402c30深之恨。然雖若是,未審眾中有能若是者麼?若有,我J39nB447_p0403a01當再設伊蒲,亦如我祖供養;如無,只得自為拈香,穿J39nB447_p0403a02祖鼻孔去也。」遂拈起香,云:「即此是,離此是,說到忤逆J39nB447_p0403a03兒孫,直饒佛眼難覷。」便燒。
機緣
J39nB447_p0403a22僧問:「如何是黃龍三關?」師云:「從頭問將來。」僧云:「我手J39nB447_p0403a23何似佛手?」師云:「拈香撥火。」僧云:「我腳何似驢腳?」師云:J39nB447_p0403a24「涉水登山。」僧云:「人人有個生緣。」師云:「開口道著。」
J39nB447_p0403a25僧問:「如何是一為無量?」師云:「春暖鳥聲碎,日高花影J39nB447_p0403a26重。」僧云:「如何是無量為一?」師云:「千峰勢到嶽邊止,萬J39nB447_p0403a27派聲歸海上消。」
J39nB447_p0403a28僧問:「《楞嚴經》云『清淨本然』,云何忽生山河大地?」師云:J39nB447_p0403a29「問從何起?」
J39nB447_p0403a30僧問:「和尚昔年棲止何處?」師豎拳云:「會麼?」僧云:「學人J39nB447_p0403b01是實問。」師云:「因汝實問,山僧實答。」
J39nB447_p0403b02僧參,師問:「甚處來?」僧云:「滇南。」師云:「帶得昆池月來麼?」J39nB447_p0403b03僧無對。師云:「汝不從滇南來。」
J39nB447_p0403b04僧問:「萬境俱起時如何?」師云:「寂。」僧云:「不起時如何?」師J39nB447_p0403b05云:「鬧。」
J39nB447_p0403b06陳居士問:「和尚教弟子念阿彌陀佛,未審阿彌陀佛J39nB447_p0403b07在甚麼處?」師高聲云:「陳居士!」士應諾。師云:「在甚麼處?」J39nB447_p0403b08士躍然。
J39nB447_p0403b09師宴坐,一僧向前作禮云:「學人無問,請和尚答話。」師J39nB447_p0403b10云:「山僧無答,請上座轉語。」
J39nB447_p0403b11師翫月次,問眾云:「朗月當空時如何?」一僧云:「照破漆J39nB447_p0403b12桶。」一僧云:「惟我獨尊。」師云:「一隊無孔鐵鎚。」
J39nB447_p0403b13碧松問:「如何是萬法歸一?」師云:「雲散天邊月。」松云:「一J39nB447_p0403b14歸何處?」師云:「春來樹上花。」
J39nB447_p0403b15師問水月:「如何是你本來面目?」月於桌上畫一圓相,J39nB447_p0403b16師以袖拂去。月復畫,師便打。
J39nB447_p0403b17師夜坐次,問大破:「尼父道:『以我為隱乎?吾無隱乎爾。』J39nB447_p0403b18且道不隱個甚麼?」破云:「不隱乎道。」師云:「如何是道?」破J39nB447_p0403b19請師講解。師指案頭燭云:「見麼?」破云:「見。」師云:「吾無隱J39nB447_p0403b20乎爾。」
J39nB447_p0403b21僧持扇求偈,師云:「上座說,山僧寫。」僧云:「學人早已說J39nB447_p0403b22了,是和尚不聞。」師云:「山僧早已寫了,是上座不見。」
J39nB447_p0403b23師夜坐次,碧松問:「燈光晃時如何?」師云:「黑漆漆。」松云:J39nB447_p0403b24「不晃時如何?」師云:「明歷歷。」
J39nB447_p0403b25士問:「和尚曾讀儒書否?」師云:「不曾。」士云:「既不曾讀,如J39nB447_p0403b26何又識文字?」師云:「居士不妨疑著。」
J39nB447_p0403b27僧問:「眼見色,耳聞聲,離卻聲色,請和尚道。」師云:「山僧J39nB447_p0403b28常在裏許。」
J39nB447_p0403b29僧問:「戒、定、慧三學,那一學為尊?」師云:「我這裏一學也J39nB447_p0403b30無,問甚麼三學?」
J39nB447_p0403c01暫到僧問:「學人千里而來,請和尚下棒。」師云:「山僧今J39nB447_p0403c02日不暇。」
J39nB447_p0403c03僧問:「學人有枝無孔笛,請和尚一吹。」師云:「沒這閒工J39nB447_p0403c04夫。」
J39nB447_p0403c05僧參,師問:「上座高隱甚處?」僧云:「遊遍天下。」師云:「踏著J39nB447_p0403c06無陰陽地否?」僧罔措,師云:「辜負艸鞋。」
J39nB447_p0403c07僧問:「學人有口無底缽,欲供養和尚,未審納否?」師云:J39nB447_p0403c08「己所不欲,勿施於人。」
J39nB447_p0403c09士問:「泥牛吼月,木馬嘶風,是有是無?」師驀頭一棒,云:J39nB447_p0403c10「是有是無?」
J39nB447_p0403c11士問:「弟子業識茫茫,請和尚究竟。」師云:「你的業識在J39nB447_p0403c12甚麼處?」士云:「不知。」師云:「不知最親切。」
J39nB447_p0403c13士問:「如何是觀自在時值雷鳴?」師云:「你還聞雷聲麼?」
J39nB447_p0403c14僧問:「如何是古佛家風?」師云:「明月橫空照,清風匝地J39nB447_p0403c15來。」
J39nB447_p0403c16僧問:「如何是臨濟機?」師便打。僧云:「如何是臨濟用?」師J39nB447_p0403c17亦打。僧作禮,師云:「還識機用麼?」僧擬議,師直打。
J39nB447_p0403c18士問:「養妻活子的人參得禪否?」師云:「得。」士云:「從何處J39nB447_p0403c19下手?」師云:「看那養妻活子的是什麼人?」
J39nB447_p0403c20僧問:「透過上頭關時如何?」師云:「死逼逼地。」僧云:「未透J39nB447_p0403c21時如何?」師云:「活潑潑地。」
J39nB447_p0403c22師寓安順五顯祠,問慧穎禪人:「虎以肉為食,因甚不J39nB447_p0403c23食其子?」穎云:「是親者難滅。」師拈拄杖云:「是親是疏?」穎J39nB447_p0403c24喝,師亦喝。穎又喝,師便打。
J39nB447_p0403c25僧參,師問:「到此作麼?」僧云:「久嚮道風,特來參禮。」師云:J39nB447_p0403c26「帶得甚麼來?」僧云:「帶得一頭水牯。」師云:「切莫犯人苗J39nB447_p0403c27稼。」僧作禮,師云:「淳哉!」
J39nB447_p0403c28僧問:「和尚到處說法,未審誰是知音?」師以拂子擊香J39nB447_p0403c29案,云:「聞麼?」僧罔措。師云:「獨是汝不知。」
J39nB447_p0403c30僧問:「拋戈棄甲時如何?」師云:「且喜天下太平。」
J39nB447_p0404a01僧問:「如何是佛法大意?」師云:「風過樹多聲。」
J39nB447_p0404a02士問:「弟子做工夫,心竅不開。」師厲聲云:「甚麼物礙汝?」
J39nB447_p0404a03師寓師宗,趙難言率眾請示念佛參禪旨訣,師云:「山J39nB447_p0404a04僧這裏無佛無禪,開示個甚麼?」眾不契,師示偈云:「念J39nB447_p0404a05佛將心念,參禪假性參,性心成一片,無佛亦無禪。」
J39nB447_p0404a06士問:「如何是西來意?」師云:「人▆看來短,山▆淡欲無。」
J39nB447_p0404a07師入堂,見僧閱經,問:「大德!閱者是甚麼經?」僧云:「《金剛J39nB447_p0404a08經》。」師云:「見須菩提也未?」僧云:「見。」師云:「是甚面目?」僧云:J39nB447_p0404a09「與和尚相似。」師云:「影子也未見在。」僧云:「和尚又作麼J39nB447_p0404a10生?」師云:「描不成,畫不就。」
J39nB447_p0404a11僧問:「如何是佛?」師云:「三十二相。」僧云:「如何是法?」師云:J39nB447_p0404a12「經律論藏。」僧云:「如何是僧?」師云:「方袍圓頂。」僧作禮。師J39nB447_p0404a13云:「佛法僧在甚麼處?」僧云:「和尚指示明白。」師劈頭三J39nB447_p0404a14棒。
J39nB447_p0404a15 J39nB447_p0404a16撫軍慕公入山訪師次,公曰:「和尚明心見性之旨可J39nB447_p0404a17得聞乎?」師曰:「山僧無心可明,無性可見。」公曰:「無之一J39nB447_p0404a18字甚是親切。」師曰:「說個親切,早已支離了也。」公曰:「正J39nB447_p0404a19所謂認著依然還不是。」師曰:「依稀似曲纔堪聽,又被J39nB447_p0404a20風吹別調間。」公曰:「宗門中原來一點也著不得。」師曰:J39nB447_p0404a21「雖然若是,卻又滿眼滿耳。」公躍然而別。
J39nB447_p0404a22太史黃公到山,問:「山光水色盈眸,竹籟松聲雜耳,意J39nB447_p0404a23旨如何?」師曰:「堂堂太史,如何被聲色蓋覆?」史曰:「因甚J39nB447_p0404a24蘇子瞻又道溪聲盡是廣長舌,山色無非清淨身?」師J39nB447_p0404a25曰:「不然。」史曰:「和尚如何?」師曰:「不見《般若經》云:『若以色J39nB447_p0404a26見我,以音聲求我,是人行邪道,不能見如來。』」公揖而J39nB447_p0404a27別。
J39nB447_p0404a28春日,糧憲梁公與師登玉皇閣。公曰:「春色重重可愛。」J39nB447_p0404a29師曰:「雖然若是,卻能換人眼睛。」公曰:「弟曾留心貴教J39nB447_p0404a30幾年,竟無入處。」師曰:「春色重重可愛。」公稽首謝之。
J39nB447_p0404b01臬憲張公與師喫茶次,乃問:「貴教中趙州茶、雲門餅J39nB447_p0404b02是何意旨?」師曰:「能止宰官飢渴。」公曰:「我為臬憲,何飢J39nB447_p0404b03渴之有?」師曰:「名利之火不息,無生之道罔知,得非飢J39nB447_p0404b04渴乎?」公頷之。
J39nB447_p0404b05大中丞田公登山,與師喫茶次,乃問:「禪師高臥山中,J39nB447_p0404b06做些甚麼工夫?」師曰:「長嘯古彌陀,高歌堯舜世。」公大J39nB447_p0404b07悅。
安順府南山寺嗣法門人照潤,捐刻J39nB447_p0404b14 本師和尚語錄第六卷,附藏流通。伏願在處弘拈J39nB447_p0404b15 花旨趣,隨方露指月風規。J39nB447_p0404b16 康熙戊寅歲季夏月吉旦。J39nB447_p0404b17 板藏嘉禾楞嚴經坊。
