J39nB447_p0389c04玄帝聖誕,開府慕大檀越營齋,請上堂。「竹樹參天碧,J39nB447_p0389c05峰巒潑黛青,中丞營妙供,慶祝蕩魔尊。」拈拄杖,云:「還J39nB447_p0389c06見蕩魔天尊也未?倘若見得,始知仙佛同源,玄禪不J39nB447_p0389c07二,說甚麼明心見性之旨、抱元守一之方?一則不負J39nB447_p0389c08大中丞營齋,一則不負老東山饒舌;設或不能,未免J39nB447_p0389c09兩枝樺炬燒丹圃,一縷龍涎爇紫臺。」下座。率眾詣玄J39nB447_p0389c10武殿,拈香上供畢,便歸方丈。
J39nB447_p0389c11非聞胡居士率眾檀越營齋,請上堂。「棲霞昨夜吼風J39nB447_p0389c12雷,李白桃紅笑滿腮,引得諸檀新發意,穿雲踏翠飯J39nB447_p0389c13僧來。敢問大眾:那裏是諸檀新發意處?」拈拄杖,云:「見J39nB447_p0389c14麼?見處明,則月橫青漢、嵐遶丹山,處處現清淨身。」卓J39nB447_p0389c15杖一下,云:「聞麼?聞處通,則鐘傳蘭谷、鼓震石門,頭頭J39nB447_p0389c16出廣長舌。又何須攝心覓佛於長年、翹首問法於永J39nB447_p0389c17歲?」召大眾,云:「聲色叢中透脫且置,諸檀圓無漏果一J39nB447_p0389c18句作麼生道?聖泉日日寒濤發,獅嶺年年野色青。」復J39nB447_p0389c19舉:「龐蘊居士將家財傾向湘江,學出世法,到石頭處,J39nB447_p0389c20問:『不與萬法為侶者是什麼人?』石頭以手掩士口,士J39nB447_p0389c21乃有惺。後到馬祖處,亦如是問,祖云:『待汝一口吸盡J39nB447_p0389c22西江水即向汝道。』士於言下大悟,遂作偈云:『有男不J39nB447_p0389c23婚,有女不嫁,大家團圞頭,共說無生話。』」師云:「龐公只J39nB447_p0389c24知斷煩惱而覓菩提,不解就塵勞而作佛事,怎似非J39nB447_p0389c25聞居士并眾檀越也不傾財水底、也不問道叢席,將J39nB447_p0389c26此平等信心直下打破慳囊,來我棲霞治齋結眾,豈J39nB447_p0389c27不超出龐老一頭地哉?雖然若是,且道:古今相去多J39nB447_p0389c28少?鳥帶香從花裏出,龍含雨向洞中歸。」下座。
J39nB447_p0389c29照壁山軌度法主設齋。師上堂:「風和遍界,日麗長天。J39nB447_p0389c30山色展半滿之科,水聲談空有之教。你諸人還領會J39nB447_p0390a01得麼?若領會得,始知琅函光吐三千界,玉軸香生百J39nB447_p0390a02億春。如領會不得,問取軌度和尚去。」便下座。
J39nB447_p0390a03傅太夫人為先慈董氏忌日飯僧,請上堂。問:「昔日瞿J39nB447_p0390a04曇升忉利天為母說法,未審瞿曇之母成佛也未?」師J39nB447_p0390a05云:「問取拄杖子。」進云:「光目女詣地獄門為母說法,未J39nB447_p0390a06審光目之母成佛也未?」師云:「問取拄杖子。」進云:「即今J39nB447_p0390a07傅太夫人為母忌辰,請和尚上堂說法,未審太夫人J39nB447_p0390a08之母成佛也未?」師云:「問取拄杖子。」進云:「且道今昔相J39nB447_p0390a09去多少?」師云:「字經三寫,烏焉成馬?」進云:「報恩一句,請J39nB447_p0390a10師不吝。」師云:「將此深心奉塵剎,是則名為報母恩。」鎮J39nB447_p0390a11遠僧淳澤問:「和尚朝朝說法,夜夜小參,且道一真法J39nB447_p0390a12界在甚麼處?」師云:「鎮遠到此七站。」僧擬議,師打云:「路J39nB447_p0390a13程也記不得。」問:「如何是有漏因?」師云:「去年殿破。」進云:J39nB447_p0390a14「如何是無漏果?」師云:「今歲修完。」進云:「有漏、無漏蒙師J39nB447_p0390a15指,即今傅太夫人先慈靈魂在甚麼處?」師豎拄杖,云:J39nB447_p0390a16「見麼?」問:「明明現於目前,因甚不睹其色?」師云:「襄陽橋J39nB447_p0390a17是九洞。」進云:「歷歷彰於耳底,因甚不聞其聲?」師云:「文J39nB447_p0390a18昌閣是三層。」進云:「和尚信手拈來固是親切,教學人J39nB447_p0390a19向那裏領會?」師云:「要過便過,要升便升。」進云:「恁麼則J39nB447_p0390a20傅太夫人先慈即此證彼去也。」師云:「但從穩處行,斷J39nB447_p0390a21斷不失足。」乃云:「金鶯也解饒長舌,飛向柳陰啼未歇,J39nB447_p0390a22石女風前側耳聽,聲聲說破無生滅。你諸人還聞麼?J39nB447_p0390a23若也聞得,始知生死關頭依妄而立,來去路徑無奈J39nB447_p0390a24而名。正恁麼時,如何是傅太夫人先慈董氏迥然獨J39nB447_p0390a25步一句?彈指圓成八萬門,剎那滅卻三祗業。」卓拄杖,J39nB447_p0390a26下座。
J39nB447_p0390a27高鵬舉率眾檀信設齋,請開示,上堂。問:「龐公有云:『十J39nB447_p0390a28方同聚會,個個學無為。此是選佛場,心空及第歸。』學J39nB447_p0390a29人有所未解,請和尚一一註腳。」師云:「不辭向汝道。」進J39nB447_p0390a30云:「如何是十方同聚會?」師云:「大家共集東山頂。」進云:J39nB447_p0390b01「如何是個個學無為?」師云:「七尺單前豎脊梁。」進云:「如J39nB447_p0390b02何是此是選佛場?」師云:「人非人等皆成佛。」進云:「如何J39nB447_p0390b03是心空及第歸?」師卓杖,云:「莫負今朝共舉揚。」進云:「如J39nB447_p0390b04此,則眾信未設齋前,齋已受竟;和尚未說法時,法已J39nB447_p0390b05聞周。」師云:「知音不必重拈出。」問:「如何是無孔笛?」師云:J39nB447_p0390b06「吹出哩囉句,驚惺夢中人。」進云:「如何是無絃琴?」師云:J39nB447_p0390b07「彈來不落宮商調,惟有知音唱和高。」進云:「如何是無J39nB447_p0390b08底船?」師云:「渡盡聖凡,載餘風月。」進云:「如何是無根樹?」J39nB447_p0390b09師云:「枝枝撐白月,葉葉鎖寒雲。」進云:「如何是無陰陽J39nB447_p0390b10地?」師云:「物物普擎,步步踏著。」進云:「如何是無底缽?」師J39nB447_p0390b11云:「隆龍歸正覺,貯水潤青蓮。」進云:「如何是無鬚鎖?」師J39nB447_p0390b12云:「把斷十方界,妖狐難遁逃。」進云:「如何是無底籃?」師J39nB447_p0390b13云:「不惟攜錦鯉,還教盛活蛇。」進云:「如何是無星秤?」師J39nB447_p0390b14云:「等閒提在手,輕重怎瞞伊?」進云:「如何是無縫塔?」師J39nB447_p0390b15云:「收盡黃金鎖子骨,任他佛眼也難窺。」問:「諸檀登山J39nB447_p0390b16營齋,和尚揮麈說法,如何是利人意旨?」師云:「老鴉關J39nB447_p0390b17從北去。」進云:「利人如是,利己又作麼生?」師云:「油榨關J39nB447_p0390b18向南行。」進云:「如此則一粒粟中藏世界,半升鐺內煮J39nB447_p0390b19山川。」師云:「呂翁曾道過,不煩汝再拈。」問:「有佛處不可J39nB447_p0390b20住,向甚麼處住?」師以拄杖打圓相。進云:「無佛處急走J39nB447_p0390b21過,又且如何?」師亦以拄杖打圓相。進云:「走住不立,向J39nB447_p0390b22甚麼處安身立命?」師復以拄杖打圓相。進云:「恁麼則J39nB447_p0390b23酒肆淫房隨撒手,從教何處不風光?」師云:「且緩緩。」問:J39nB447_p0390b24「學人出家二十餘年,參禪無禪,學道無道,生死作麼J39nB447_p0390b25生了?」師云:「無參無學處,是名閒道人,還有什麼生死?」J39nB447_p0390b26僧擬議,師便打。問:「昨朝陞座薦亡,今日上堂開導,還J39nB447_p0390b27是昨日的是?今日的是?」師云:「雲飛天不動,風過樹多J39nB447_p0390b28聲。」乃云:「昨日椎鐘薦慈,今朝撾鼓開導,雨棒回潤焦J39nB447_p0390b29枯,雷喝疏通玄要,露拄撫掌高歌,燈籠破顏微笑,但J39nB447_p0390b30能直下承當,便是西來大道。」卓拄杖,下座。
J39nB447_p0390c01糧憲傅大檀越追嚴營齋,請上堂。問:「傅府追嚴請和J39nB447_p0390c02尚說法且置,如何是先大人忌辰已前的事?」師云:「柳J39nB447_p0390c03陰深處黃鸝囀。」進云:「如何是忌辰已後的事?」師云:「梅J39nB447_p0390c04雨霏時山舍涼。」進云:「然雖若是,即今先大人還是生J39nB447_p0390c05兜率天?還是生極樂國?」師云:「何方不現本來身?」問:「君J39nB447_p0390c06恩、親恩,何恩為重?」師云:「湛湛波光千頃碧。」進云:「天德、J39nB447_p0390c07地德,何德為大?」師云:「重重山色一般青。」進云:「和尚如J39nB447_p0390c08斯指示,還有為人處也無?」師云:「明明已道破,不必更J39nB447_p0390c09思尋。」問:「釋迦與孔子鼻孔是同是別?」師云:「兩耀長明J39nB447_p0390c10光大塊。」進云:「恁麼則皇天無二道,聖人無兩心也。」師J39nB447_p0390c11云:「水山相共吐長春。」問:「一子出家,九族生天,因甚地J39nB447_p0390c12藏之母入於地獄?」師云:「嘛呢叭𡄣吽。」進云:「畢竟作麼J39nB447_p0390c13生得出?」師云:「嘛呢叭𡄣吽。」問:「生亦無生,滅亦無滅,生J39nB447_p0390c14滅既無,即今傅先大人一靈真性在甚麼處?」師云:「主J39nB447_p0390c15山前,案山後。」進云:「恁麼則歷歷明明不覆藏。」師云:「逢J39nB447_p0390c16人不得錯舉。」乃云:「父母非我親,誰是最親者?諸佛非J39nB447_p0390c17我道,誰是最道者?」召大眾云:「也甚奇怪,適纔山僧舉J39nB447_p0390c18則古人公案,引得龜毛拂子向前正色厲聲曰:『這是J39nB447_p0390c19甚麼所在?說父、說母、說佛、說道。』語猶未已,不覺兔角J39nB447_p0390c20拄杖出班瞋目責之曰:『這是甚麼所在?不容說父母,J39nB447_p0390c21不容說佛道。』兩爭不已,忽然無位真人出來緩緩道J39nB447_p0390c22之曰:『你二人不必爭論,曾聞即此是?離此是?』又云:『恁J39nB447_p0390c23麼也得,不恁麼也得。』時龜毛拂子與兔角拄杖聞如J39nB447_p0390c24是說,各自默默隱去。」復召大眾云:「諸昆仲!山僧如斯J39nB447_p0390c25漏逗,你諸人還委悉麼?若能委悉,始知傅先大人即J39nB447_p0390c26生死而證解脫,即煩惱以悟菩提,到此則君恩、親恩J39nB447_p0390c27其報,天德、地德同酬。脫或未能,更聽一偈:劬勞一本J39nB447_p0390c28如山重,德澤兩間似海深,個裏若明恩自報,更於何J39nB447_p0390c29處覓疏親?」下座。
J39nB447_p0390c30閫臺杜檀越設齋,請上堂。問:「閫臺現宰官身,說法濟J39nB447_p0391a01民無有窮已,因甚和尚口喃喃地?」師云:「借他落花天,J39nB447_p0391a02吹我無孔笛。」乃云:「今日乃閫臺杜大檀越來山飯僧J39nB447_p0391a03之期,強山僧吹無孔笛賞太平時。然而無孔笛子,五J39nB447_p0391a04音齊之不能、六律並之不得,有時橫吹月下,塵勞夢J39nB447_p0391a05惺於片時;有時三弄風前,曠劫春回於頃刻。雖然,秪J39nB447_p0391a06是不容別者知,惟許知音識。」拈拄杖,召大眾,云:「正當J39nB447_p0391a07香雲繞座之時、花雨凌空之際,還有知音者麼?若有,J39nB447_p0391a08不負杜大檀越傾信心而事佛、捐俸祿以飯僧;如無,J39nB447_p0391a09不免山僧自和去也。」卓拄杖一下,云:「此曲秪因天上J39nB447_p0391a10有,人問能得幾回聞?」下座。
J39nB447_p0391a11撫軍闔衙官眷營齋,請上堂。問:「如何是西來大意?」師J39nB447_p0391a12云:「禪堂梯子十七步。」進云:「恁麼則夜靜家家月,春回J39nB447_p0391a13處處花。」師云:「山城燈火幾千重。」問:「未登座時佛法在J39nB447_p0391a14甚麼處?」師云:「玉帝閣前花綽綽。」進云:「已登座時又在J39nB447_p0391a15那裏?」師云:「捨身巖下樹叢叢。」僧作禮,師云:「會麼?」僧擬J39nB447_p0391a16議,師云:「當機不領會,辜負一簾春。」問:「寶藏重重鎖,無J39nB447_p0391a17匙怎得開?」師云:「是星皆拱北。」進云:「謝師不吝。」師云:「無J39nB447_p0391a18山不帶雲。」問:「日日陞堂,時時說法,未審法從何轉?」師J39nB447_p0391a19云:「黔靈山七高八低。」進云:「秪如新殿未修,舊址未關,J39nB447_p0391a20和尚向何處下腳?」師云:「南明水左曲右灣。」問:「如何是J39nB447_p0391a21諸佛世界?」師云:「野色彌東嶺,人煙多北城。」進云:「如何J39nB447_p0391a22是眾生世界?」師云:「入京朝帝主,定是出南門。」問:「古德J39nB447_p0391a23云:『如人上樹,口銜樹枝,手不攀枝,腳不踏樹,樹下有J39nB447_p0391a24人。請問佛法還道得也未?』」師云:「襄陽橋下水偏綠。」進J39nB447_p0391a25云:「可謂不涉唇齒最親切。」師云:「鐘鼓樓前貨更多。」進J39nB447_p0391a26云:「雖然一枝無孔笛,吹出清音更有誰?」師云:「將謂無J39nB447_p0391a27人識,誰知有子期?」問:「如何是佛?」師云:「頂上旋螺青鬱J39nB447_p0391a28鬱。」進云:「如何是祖?」師云:「手中拄杖赤條條。」進云:「如何J39nB447_p0391a29是超佛越祖的句?」師云:「待汝超越來即向汝道。」僧擬J39nB447_p0391a30議,師連打兩棒。問:「趙州狗子性,頻年究有無,秪因放J39nB447_p0391b01不下,策杖奔雲途。如何是雲途中事?」師云:「腳跟下好J39nB447_p0391b02與三十棒。」進云:「如何是到家意旨?」師云:「亦好與三十J39nB447_p0391b03棒。」僧作禮,師云:「狗子佛性即今在甚麼處?」僧豎指,師J39nB447_p0391b04云:「總好與三十棒。」乃云:「棲霞危嶺峙城東,竹樹高撐J39nB447_p0391b05慧日紅,睡起登樓頻眺望,人家恍在畫圖中。綠水穿J39nB447_p0391b06橋兮,盡露僧繇旨趣;白雲環岸兮,全彰摩詰風光。逴J39nB447_p0391b07得便行,頭頭即第一義天;提得便走,處處皆真三昧J39nB447_p0391b08海。所以道:作是觀者,名為正觀;若他觀者,名為邪觀。J39nB447_p0391b09又何須重重問來、一一答去?還委悉麼?若能委悉,則J39nB447_p0391b10諸檀齋嚫受之無愧,自己家珍撒出何妨?脫或不然,J39nB447_p0391b11尋春應到雪深處,翫景須登最上巔。」顧視左右,下座。
J39nB447_p0391b12伍文權居士設齋,請上堂。問:「如何是過去心不可得?」J39nB447_p0391b13師云:「昨朝旭日融融。」進云:「如何是現在心不可得?」師J39nB447_p0391b14云:「今日和風拂拂。」進云:「如何是未來心不可得?」師云:J39nB447_p0391b15「來朝慕府大齋,諸山齊赴。」進云:「三心既不可得,即今J39nB447_p0391b16問答的是那一心?」師打,云:「是那一心?」乃云:「春三月已J39nB447_p0391b17前,百卉萌芽,群花含秀;春三月已後,農忙白晝,犢臥J39nB447_p0391b18柳陰;正當春三月,林園現色身三昧,鳥鵲轉根本法J39nB447_p0391b19輪,萬象森羅展個裏之生機,十虛三際布劫前之光J39nB447_p0391b20彩。」驀豎拄杖,云:「且道是春三月已前的?春三月已後J39nB447_p0391b21的?正當春三月的?這裏分析得出,始知過去心不可J39nB447_p0391b22得、現在心不可得、未來心不可得。」卓拄杖,下座。
J39nB447_p0391b23法雲庵若虛上座率諸禪眾設齋,請上堂。問:「金鐘玉J39nB447_p0391b24板挂棲霞,一曲無生唱最佳,哩哩囉囉囉哩哩,不知J39nB447_p0391b25清韻落誰家?」師云:「好音在耳人皆識。」進云:「如此則不J39nB447_p0391b26落宮商角徵羽。」師云:「唱和風前也不妨都管。」問:「豎指J39nB447_p0391b27拈拳誰領會?痛棒爇喝我亦疑,今日數般俱不用,親J39nB447_p0391b28切一句請師提。」師云:「杲日當空現,清風匝地來。」進云:J39nB447_p0391b29「恁麼則應作如是觀。」師云:「切忌遭他換兩眸。」問:「毛吞J39nB447_p0391b30巨海,芥納須彌,是事的否?」師云:「一片西風凋萬木,半J39nB447_p0391c01輪明月印千江。」進云:「今日方知只這是,從前枉用許J39nB447_p0391c02多功。」師云:「欲獲驪珠握,須教大海乾。」問:「山花開處玄J39nB447_p0391c03機露,夜月圓時性體輝,個裏原來無罣礙,包含天地J39nB447_p0391c04任施為。正恁麼時,和尚如何利人?」師便打。進云:「如此J39nB447_p0391c05則山川皆錦繡,草木盡文章。」師又打。乃云:「棒頭領旨,J39nB447_p0391c06喚甕作鐘;喝下承當,指鹿為馬。說心說性,通身泥水;J39nB447_p0391c07舉古舉今,遍地荊棘。所以道:關門打睡,接上上機;顧J39nB447_p0391c08鑑頻呻,曲為中下。正恁麼時,如何是不落蹊徑一句?」J39nB447_p0391c09卓杖,云:「凡聖從來不二家,挺身擔荷總無他,生前面J39nB447_p0391c10目青山月,個裏風光上苑花。舉足低頭皆活計,拈香J39nB447_p0391c11撥火即生涯,雖然處處無遮覆,一涉思量事若麻。」下J39nB447_p0391c12座。
J39nB447_p0391c13新舊二城眾檀信設齋,師傳沙彌戒,上堂。「活潑潑的J39nB447_p0391c14何等好,無端自把繩索加,直饒縛得如山穩,正眼觀J39nB447_p0391c15求亦是邪。」豎起如意云:「且道是邪是正?於此分析得J39nB447_p0391c16出,始知舉足低頭全彰戒式,揚眉吐氣悉放戒光,說J39nB447_p0391c17甚麼息惡?說甚麼行慈?到恁般田地,脫灑花街不礙,J39nB447_p0391c18逍遙柳巷何妨?還委悉麼?大悟不拘小節上,香象豈J39nB447_p0391c19遊兔徑中?」復舉:「昔有二比丘山中結庵,同修梵行。一J39nB447_p0391c20日,一比丘下山行乞,一比丘在庵中禪定或坐睡,因J39nB447_p0391c21而睡著,為一樵女偷犯淨戒,乃內心不悅。同庵僧歸,J39nB447_p0391c22且說上事,行乞比丘大怒,提棒欲打樵女,樵女驚走,J39nB447_p0391c23失足墜巖而死。時二比丘共語曰:『我二人,一人無心J39nB447_p0391c24氾淫,一人無心犯殺。』共往優波離尊者處懺悔,尊者J39nB447_p0391c25以小乘結罪。此二比丘久修大乘之人,轉生疑怖,復J39nB447_p0391c26往維摩居士處說罪,維摩曰:『此罪性不在內、不在外、J39nB447_p0391c27不在中間,在甚麼處?』時二比丘當下大悟。」復豎如意J39nB447_p0391c28召大眾云:「且道二比丘未見維摩之前與見維摩之J39nB447_p0391c29後相去多少?」眾無對,師復云:「未見維摩山捧月,維摩J39nB447_p0391c30見後月橫山,欲知持犯無多子,伸手原在縮手間。」
J39nB447_p0392a01廣東街眾信設齋,師傳比丘戒,上堂。問:「九十春光過J39nB447_p0392a02目前,三根椽下日勤參,好機盡是鶯啼破,放去收來J39nB447_p0392a03任往還且置,秪如未受戒已前是甚麼人變淨為穢?」J39nB447_p0392a04師云:「藕穿陸地為荷葉。」進云:「已受戒後轉穢為淨又J39nB447_p0392a05是阿誰?」師云:「筍過東家作竹林。」進云:「受與未受還許J39nB447_p0392a06兩處看取也無?」師云:「雲擁千花座,香清百寶臺。」乃云:J39nB447_p0392a07「榴花乍吐庭前,梅雨初霏簾外,法堂鐘鼓輕敲,請說J39nB447_p0392a08大比丘戒。」豎起如意,云:「會麼?於此會得,便會清淨比J39nB447_p0392a09丘不上天堂,破戒比丘不入地獄。到這裏則咳唾掉J39nB447_p0392a10臂,法法具足,拈香撥火事事圓成,說甚麼十三重難、J39nB447_p0392a11十六輕遮?僧燦祖空其罪性,不過知冰是水;高沙彌J39nB447_p0392a12衣缽不受,無非識火即燈。是故,眾生起無邊惑業,諸J39nB447_p0392a13佛制無邊戒法,惑業既消,戒法安用?」復豎如意,云:「且J39nB447_p0392a14道:是惑業?是戒法?這裏煤墨得出,堪與僧燦祖同日J39nB447_p0392a15而語,高沙彌攜手偕行;如其不爾,坐臥經行須體究,J39nB447_p0392a16動靜忙閒應好持,持到雙忘罪福處,肉案酒樓悉戒J39nB447_p0392a17基。」
J39nB447_p0392a18圓菩薩大戒,上堂。「有世界以音聲為佛事、有世界以J39nB447_p0392a19香飯為佛事、有世界以莊嚴為佛事、有世界以光明J39nB447_p0392a20為佛事,棲霞這裏以圓戒為佛事,然而戒之一字乃J39nB447_p0392a21成佛之大本、證果之總要,是故三世能仁以之示涅J39nB447_p0392a22槃妙心、歷代開士以之傳正法眼藏、今日山僧以之J39nB447_p0392a23為諸人圓心地戒法。雖然若是,且道音聲、香飯、莊嚴、J39nB447_p0392a24光明四種佛事與山僧圓戒佛事是同是別?若緇素J39nB447_p0392a25得出,不獨諸人心地戒法當下頓圓,則胎卵濕化、鱗J39nB447_p0392a26甲羽毛、山花水石、雲林煙島以至一切種種無不頓J39nB447_p0392a27圓心地戒也。還委悉麼?佛境雖多不遠求,大都秪在J39nB447_p0392a28一毛頭,道圓覺性般般具,妙契真空法法週,無影林J39nB447_p0392a29間拴野馬,不萌枝上鎖狂猴,如能這裏承當去,心地J39nB447_p0392a30戒光隨放收。」
J39nB447_p0392b01四月八日,撫軍慕大檀越營齋請浴佛,上堂。師拈匙J39nB447_p0392b02灌沐畢,揮拂子云:「清和初夏正茲時,燕語簷前鶯繞J39nB447_p0392b03堤,都憲傾心營妙供,請澆香水浴牟尼。」召大眾云:「諸J39nB447_p0392b04昆仲!紅塵中迷卻多少人,不能優游清虛境內;清虛J39nB447_p0392b05境內醉卻多少人,不能瀟灑紅塵中。惟根器超邁、意J39nB447_p0392b06致殊特,紅塵、清虛融成一片,人情、道意渾合 處,雖J39nB447_p0392b07心留宗教,處仕途而不礙;身著錦袍,遊覺海以何妨?J39nB447_p0392b08若我都憲慕大檀越股肱王室、墻塹法門,凡值勝因J39nB447_p0392b09靡不結集,可謂示現宰官身,弘通佛祖道。適薰風南J39nB447_p0392b10來之際、金仙降蹟之時,捐俸來山治齋結眾,不減張J39nB447_p0392b11相國之於兜率、白侍郎之於鳥窠。然雖若是,且道這J39nB447_p0392b12段殊勝因緣還是從父母未生前而發耶?已生後而J39nB447_p0392b13發耶?倘若會得,不獨會都憲慕大檀越著錦袍而遊J39nB447_p0392b14覺海、處仕途而扶宗教,便會世尊未離兜率已降皇J39nB447_p0392b15宮,未出母胎度人已畢;其或未然,不免以香水海為J39nB447_p0392b16硯、須彌峰作筆,向碧空中聊書半偈,為我都憲慕大J39nB447_p0392b17檀越塞責去也。佛誕欣逢夏正初,不期都憲治伊蒲,J39nB447_p0392b18東山無可酬嘉德,半偈憑將空裏書。」以拄杖向空中J39nB447_p0392b19作書勢,下座。
J39nB447_p0392b20解制,上堂。「正月十五結制,溪邊雪解,隴上梅芳;四月J39nB447_p0392b21十五解制,山前麥熟,田裏秧青。可謂韶華易邁,石火J39nB447_p0392b22難留。然雖若是,未審諸人生死境界、迷悟關頭還曾J39nB447_p0392b23坐斷也未?如是,不惟不辜九旬白足、三月調心,領痛J39nB447_p0392b24棒於機前、受熱喝於座下,亦且不負中丞護念、群宰J39nB447_p0392b25傾心,捐俸祿於個中、忘名分於是內。到此,何妨統無J39nB447_p0392b26邊剎境為一微塵,無一塵不是大圓覺海;融十世古J39nB447_p0392b27今作個念頭,無一念不是自恣時節。說甚麼集龍象J39nB447_p0392b28於禪室、散雲水於天涯?任他春去夏來、日生月落,何J39nB447_p0392b29干於我哉?脫或未能,饒你橫擔拄杖、緊峭草鞋,踏遍J39nB447_p0392b30十虛、遊周三際,尚未能休歇在。珍重。」
J39nB447_p0392c01復住鎮西忠義堂,海晴蔡居士率眾檀信營齋,請上J39nB447_p0392c02堂。問:「去年此日說法會城東嶺,今年此日說法鎮西J39nB447_p0392c03聖祠,去年今歲且置,如何是陽春遍布的消息?」師云:J39nB447_p0392c04「鳥聲歷歷啼枝上,花影重重鋪徑邊。」進云:「未審利生J39nB447_p0392c05一句作麼生道?」師云:「昨宵膏雨凌空布,今日和風匝J39nB447_p0392c06地來。」進云:「如此則個個承恩去也。」師云:「賴汝證明。」乃J39nB447_p0392c07云:「老僧一冬住鎮西,無禪可說,無道可傳,惟掩兩扇J39nB447_p0392c08禪扉,向一爐松火,隨情卓爾,任性陶然,不期律回太J39nB447_p0392c09簇,運轉洪鈞,是我闔境衿庶,強老僧陞華王座,播直J39nB447_p0392c10指風,要令人人破妄顯真,個個即此證彼。老僧欲舉J39nB447_p0392c11教乘為之發明,猶是三世能仁葛藤;欲動棒喝為之J39nB447_p0392c12點破,又是歷代開士窩臼。不免舒一片鶴雲,將要津J39nB447_p0392c13把斷;放半輪梅月,把雪浪絞乾。直教奇花瑞草吐本J39nB447_p0392c14有之風光,槁竹枯松回不無之春色。敢問大眾:一冬J39nB447_p0392c15已來何其密不通風?今日人天眾前因甚這般漏逗?」J39nB447_p0392c16良久,云:「劍為不平離寶匣,藥因救病出金瓶。」下座。
J39nB447_p0392c17戊辰臘月初一日,糧憲傅太夫人設齋,師傳沙彌戒,J39nB447_p0392c18上堂。「瑞木斜飛臘月一,四海水雲齊聚集;請演毘尼J39nB447_p0392c19上法堂,陣陣梅花香撲鼻。」豎拂子,召大眾,云:「諸昆仲!J39nB447_p0392c20還知此香來處麼?若知來處,則傳戒而無戒可傳、受J39nB447_p0392c21戒而無戒可受。所以道:佛說一切法,為度一切心;我J39nB447_p0392c22無一切心,何用一切法?」復豎拂子,云:「且道是心耶?法J39nB447_p0392c23耶?倘若會得,始知無傳之傳是名真傳、無受之受是J39nB447_p0392c24名真受。到這裏,不惟不負老僧登壇饒舌,亦且不負J39nB447_p0392c25夫人信心設齋;脫或未能,抖擻精神休負墮,初級重J39nB447_p0392c26樓應好登。」
J39nB447_p0392c27初五日,準提庵湛理庵主設齋,師說比丘戒,上堂。「欲J39nB447_p0392c28識佛性義,當觀時節因緣。今日乃諸人求受具足大J39nB447_p0392c29戒之時節也,檢點將來,你諸人眼能觀色相,耳能聽J39nB447_p0392c30音聲,鼻能識香臭,舌能知酸甜,身能知冷暖,意能解J39nB447_p0393a01分別,以至一切等處無不具足,烏用山僧集眾陞堂,J39nB447_p0393a02分條析相,而謂之具足戒耶?不見永嘉云:『一地具足J39nB447_p0393a03一切地,一法遍含一切法,一月普現一切水,一切水J39nB447_p0393a04月一月攝。』」顧左右云:「山僧如斯告報,眾中莫有領會J39nB447_p0393a05者麼?如無,不免落草盤桓,應斯時節去也。」遂說戒畢,J39nB447_p0393a06下座。
J39nB447_p0393a07臘八日,藩憲柯夫人設齋,眾請圓菩薩大戒,上堂。師J39nB447_p0393a08以拂子向空點一點,云:「大眾見麼?這一點星象最是J39nB447_p0393a09圓明、最是靈活,放之則光耀十虛、卷之則澄清萬有,J39nB447_p0393a10故我大覺世尊於正覺山前一覷覷著,特地心花開J39nB447_p0393a11放、道種圓明,便云:『一切眾生具有如來智慧德相。但J39nB447_p0393a12以妄想執著而不證得。』故有四十九年說、三百餘會J39nB447_p0393a13談,末後拈花示眾、付偈傳衣,遞代相續一至於今,皆J39nB447_p0393a14由這一點星象之所印也。然而這一點星象不大不J39nB447_p0393a15小、非明非暗,諸佛分上不增、眾生分上不減,故曰:心、J39nB447_p0393a16佛、眾生,三無差別。然雖若是,未審從甚處出現?若知J39nB447_p0393a17出處,便會世尊悟處;會得世尊悟處,則諸人菩薩大J39nB447_p0393a18戒不圓已圓、心地法門不證已證。還委悉麼?」復以拂J39nB447_p0393a19子向空點一點,下座。
J39nB447_p0393a20盂蘭會,黑神廟法姪靜止大師為師西竺和尚除禪,J39nB447_p0393a21請上堂。問:「事死如事生,事亡如事存,孝之至也。未審J39nB447_p0393a22孝滿後作麼生行履?」師云:「孤峰頂上吟風嘯月,十字J39nB447_p0393a23街頭弄柳拈花。」進云:「如此則頭頭脫灑,處處縱橫。」師J39nB447_p0393a24云:「也須到恁麼地始得。」進云:「一拳打倒棲霞嶺,一腳J39nB447_p0393a25踏翻芳杜洲。」師云:「驚群須是英靈漢,敵勝還他獅子J39nB447_p0393a26兒。」問:「西風侵梵宇,寒露點幽林,本自無來去,如何說J39nB447_p0393a27死生?」師云:「淨法界身無出沒,悲願不忘示去來。」進云:J39nB447_p0393a28「正與麼時,則西竺和尚在何處安身立命?」師云:「不離J39nB447_p0393a29當處常湛然。」問:「庭前明月照,簾外木犀開,剛然隻履J39nB447_p0393a30去,三週又到來。靜止大師攄誠懇請,未審和尚以何J39nB447_p0393b01法禪服?」師云:「頻撾塗毒鼓,均灑甘露漿。」進云:「正與麼J39nB447_p0393b02時,西和尚一靈真性脫灑何處?」師云:「鳳皇嶺橫眠倒J39nB447_p0393b03臥,牛渡口闊論弘談。」進云:「如此則山橫清淨身,溪出J39nB447_p0393b04廣長舌,非虛語也。」師云:「卻被汝道著。」問:「過去未來即J39nB447_p0393b05不問,如何是現在的事?」師云:「人天普集登華座,棒喝J39nB447_p0393b06弘開薦覺靈。」進云:「即今西和尚還來否?」師云:「芳杜洲J39nB447_p0393b07邊常集鷺,南明水上每行舟。」問:「四大分張時,主人公J39nB447_p0393b08歸於何處?」師豎杖,云:「見麼?」進云:「與麼則不生滅也。」師J39nB447_p0393b09云:「汝見阿誰生滅來?」乃云:「桐葉斜飛飄野砌,蘆花半J39nB447_p0393b10吐照深秋,道人睡起渾無事,倒駕鐵船水面遊。隨情J39nB447_p0393b11繫纜兮,聽霞鶩以齊飛;任性推蓬兮,觀水天而一色。J39nB447_p0393b12陶陶自得,落落何拘?不期我靜止大師悲生風木,會J39nB447_p0393b13結盂蘭,投赤幅以攄誠,爇枯煙而稽首,敦請老僧為J39nB447_p0393b14西竺和尚除禫說法。是以,撾塗毒鼓,震開兩岸白雲;J39nB447_p0393b15灑甘露漿,浸破一帆明月。引得寒鷗合十,白鷺和南,J39nB447_p0393b16漁火紅沙磧之中,鐵笛響滄浪之上。然雖若是,未審J39nB447_p0393b17諸人還同見聞也無?若同見聞,不獨西竺和尚獲無J39nB447_p0393b18生忍、證涅槃樂,則此方他界、久逝新亡,並及人人三J39nB447_p0393b19世父母、歷劫親煙,齊上老僧鐵船,高登菩提彼岸。」顧J39nB447_p0393b20左右,云:「普濟含識則且置,如何是西竺和尚獨脫一J39nB447_p0393b21句?」擊案,云:「卓矣頓超無相國,端然正入妙蓮心。」復舉:J39nB447_p0393b22「僧問曹山:『靈衣不挂時如何?』山曰:『曹山今日孝滿。』僧J39nB447_p0393b23云:『孝滿後如何?』山云:『曹山愛顛酒。』」師云:「你諸人還知J39nB447_p0393b24曹山落處麼?若知落處,則知靜止大師劈舊案於劫J39nB447_p0393b25前、唱新詞於此日,曠懷鬧市,闊步紅塵。倘或未能,聽J39nB447_p0393b26取頌出:孝滿堂前不挂衣,通身輕快許誰知?閒來無J39nB447_p0393b27事長街上,一步一聲風月詞。」下座。
J39nB447_p0393b28廣生韓檀越請諸經到山,師上堂,舉拂子云:「見麼?此J39nB447_p0393b29是釋迦老子四十九年三百餘會吐露的一大藏教,J39nB447_p0393b30天龍鬼神、人與非人莫不頂戴奉行,誰知落在我祖J39nB447_p0393c01師門下,被人喚作拴束牛馬的陳爛葛藤。老僧今日J39nB447_p0393c02將佛也恁麼拴束於中、祖也恁麼拴束於中、聖也恁J39nB447_p0393c03麼拴束於中、凡也恁麼拴束於中,乃至僧俗、男女、老J39nB447_p0393c04少、貴賤、賢愚、山河、國土、動植、飛潛、舟車、屋宅、瓶盤、釵J39nB447_p0393c05釧一切種種無不恁麼拴束於中,秪有一物恁麼拴J39nB447_p0393c06束不得。因甚麼拴束不得?不見道:有一物,明歷歷、黑J39nB447_p0393c07漆漆,上拄天、下拄地,常在動用中,動用中收他不得。J39nB447_p0393c08你諸人作麼生會?倘若會得,不惟會釋迦老人四十J39nB447_p0393c09九年說三百餘會談的消息,便會我祖師門下恁麼J39nB447_p0393c10貶叱的道理;如其不會,老僧不免念一道真言而為J39nB447_p0393c11守護。南無佛陀耶。南無達摩耶。南無僧伽耶。唵。悉帝J39nB447_p0393c12護。嚕嚕悉都嚕。只利波。吉利婆。悉答哩。布嚕哩。莎𭌯J39nB447_p0393c13訶。」下座。
J39nB447_p0393c14韓檀越供法衣,請上堂。「風和日麗早春天,花柳芬芳J39nB447_p0393c15繞法筵,信手焚香窗下坐,檀那天外送金襴。」遂舉衣J39nB447_p0393c16示眾,云:「諸昆仲!還見麼?劫前春色縷縷敷陳,教外真J39nB447_p0393c17風絲絲顯露,羅紋結角處,摩醯三眼窺覷不能;線路J39nB447_p0393c18通關處,大悲千手摸索不著。然雖若是,且道廣生韓J39nB447_p0393c19檀越從甚處得來?若知來處,便知佛佛授手,惟授此J39nB447_p0393c20也;祖祖相傳,惟傳此也。說甚麼持歸雞足山,鈍置大J39nB447_p0393c21庚嶺?敢問大眾:金襴袈裟殊勝則且置,如何是廣生J39nB447_p0393c22韓檀越不可思議一句?盡謂曇花覺地放,誰知火宅J39nB447_p0393c23也開敷?」下座。
J39nB447_p0393c24臘八,胡君選設齋,請上堂。問:「朔風生古渡,瑞雪擁層J39nB447_p0393c25峰。殿閣增輝即不問,如來成道意如何?」師云:「冰解無J39nB447_p0393c26非水。」進云:「與麼則人人腳跟點地,個個鼻孔遼天。」師J39nB447_p0393c27云:「梅開總是春。」問:「匝地六花呈色相,一枝梅蕊洩先J39nB447_p0393c28天。世尊睹星悟道,二祖斷臂傳衣。且道:是同?是別?」師J39nB447_p0393c29云:「一個鼻頭,兩孔出氣。」進云:「如此則古今無二道,聖J39nB447_p0393c30凡無兩心。」師云:「惟有鍾子期,能識伯牙調。」乃云:「萬乘J39nB447_p0394a01尊榮都不戀,無端冷坐雪山間。雖然夜半睹星悟,及J39nB447_p0394a02至天明也一般。」召大眾,云:「如何是一般的意旨?」時嵩J39nB447_p0394a03敝法姪在傍,云:「吸露千般草,吟風一樣松。」師云:「如是J39nB447_p0394a04則智慧德相不別妄想執著,妄想執著無殊智慧德J39nB447_p0394a05相。所以道:三十年前見山不是山、見水不是水,三十J39nB447_p0394a06年後見山仍是山、見水仍是水。」復召大眾,云:「如何是J39nB447_p0394a07釋迦老人契證平常一句?風竹滿林彈月冷,雪梅一J39nB447_p0394a08徑鎖雲寒。」卓拄杖,下座。
J39nB447_p0394a09康熙癸酉年四月,受鎮臺魯脈蘭護法暨中營副府J39nB447_p0394a10王、左營副府雲如劉、右營副府王三護法請,師復住J39nB447_p0394a11安籠吉祥庵。值大殿落成,上堂。問:「世尊指地,宜建梵J39nB447_p0394a12剎;帝釋插草,建剎已竟。帝釋插草即不問,世尊指地J39nB447_p0394a13意若何?」師云:「梅花開雪裏。」進云:「與麼則行住坐臥無J39nB447_p0394a14非佛事,喜怒哀樂總是道場。」師云:「楊柳舞春間。」進云:J39nB447_p0394a15「正所謂自從舞得三臺後,拍拍原來總是歌。」師云:「知J39nB447_p0394a16音不必頻頻舉。」乃云:「昔日之來,落寞廊楹迷草色;今J39nB447_p0394a17日之來,巍峨殿閣吐珠光。六窗炯炯,洞一色虛明;萬J39nB447_p0394a18瓦鱗鱗,絕三種滲漏。是我鎮臺蘭公並副府諸公不J39nB447_p0394a19忘靈山記莂,示現佛國金湯,俸祿同捐,勝因共結。且J39nB447_p0394a20又鵲印龍旗,依無雙之覺地;錦袍玉帶,衛不二之法J39nB447_p0394a21門。延頭陀拈座上花枝,集衲子轉個中語句。鼓鐘震J39nB447_p0394a22處,滿院殘煙散去;棒喝弘時,一鉤新月懸來。正恁麼J39nB447_p0394a23時,新舊即且置,住院一句作麼生道?無米飯供龍象J39nB447_p0394a24眾,沒絃琴操水山音。」
J39nB447_p0394a25佛誕,惺念尼禪人率眾請傳戒,上堂。「今日乃如來降J39nB447_p0394a26生之期、諸人乞戒之際,是以慶雲匝地、花雨一天,鐘J39nB447_p0394a27鼓出翠微之中、衣缽傳寶座之上,致令金鶯奏管、玉J39nB447_p0394a28浪騰江。然雖若是,你諸人還同見聞也未?如是,則如J39nB447_p0394a29來未出摩耶胎,生已度竟;山僧未登曲彔木,戒已傳J39nB447_p0394a30周。又何須灌沐香水、講演毘尼?脫或不能,未免沉水J39nB447_p0394b01一爐祝聖誕,袈裟次第授諸人。」傳戒畢,下座。
J39nB447_p0394b02佛成道日,眾戒子請上堂。問:「朔風凜凜過園林,瑞木J39nB447_p0394b03紛紛點碧岑,剎土香飄於此日,雪山公案又重新。剎J39nB447_p0394b04土香飄即不問,重新公案事如何?」師云:「法筵龍象繞。」J39nB447_p0394b05進云:「如來睹星成道,和尚陞堂說法,還是慶賀耶?利J39nB447_p0394b06生耶?」師云:「一點水墨,兩處成龍。」問:「世尊成道,開眼說J39nB447_p0394b07夢;和尚利生,平地興波。且道世尊與和尚相去多少?」J39nB447_p0394b08師云:「龍吐腹中珠,池吞天上月。」進云:「如此則昔日今J39nB447_p0394b09朝無二無別。」師云:「梅香清滿院,雪色映層峰。」乃云:「不J39nB447_p0394b10住皇宮內,棲遲雪嶺頭,明星午夜現,黑霧一天收。」拈J39nB447_p0394b11拄杖召大眾云:「還知釋迦老人悟處麼?六年冷坐無J39nB447_p0394b12人識,三嘆奇哉秪自知。」卓拄杖,下座。
J39nB447_p0394b13佛誕,溪舌禪人率眾戒子請上堂。「年來佛法懶弘宣,J39nB447_p0394b14高臥東山鎮日閒,昨夜登峰舒一嘯,驚他星斗落人J39nB447_p0394b15間,引得維那同眾職事入方丈,白云:『明晨釋迦如來J39nB447_p0394b16降誕,請和尚登座為眾說法。』山僧一夜思量,欲說攢J39nB447_p0394b17花簇錦、串玉聯珠人所說不到的一篇法語,想起未J39nB447_p0394b18離兜率,已降皇宮,未出母胎,度人已畢,是歷代祖師J39nB447_p0394b19評論了又評論的;想起雲門道:『我當時若見,一棒打J39nB447_p0394b20殺與狗子喫,貴圖天下太平。』亦是諸方長老批判了J39nB447_p0394b21又批判的。左也打點不出,又也安排不就,弗覺枕上J39nB447_p0394b22月殘雞報曉,堂中磬響日初紅,起來盥漱焚香,披衣J39nB447_p0394b23禮佛,大眾人事一週,逗到此時,梵鐘震竹徑松亭,香J39nB447_p0394b24靄飛瓊樓丹閣,一眾都來座下聽山僧說法,儘力抖J39nB447_p0394b25擻枯腸,何嘗有得半字?」顧左右,云:「且作麼生得個應J39nB447_p0394b26時及節的句塞責諸人?」良久,云:「好!好!幸有一柄龜毛J39nB447_p0394b27拂子在,不免令他出廣長舌,為眾說些新佛法,以助J39nB447_p0394b28然眉之急。如何是新佛法?」拈拂子,擊案一下,云:「聞麼?J39nB447_p0394b29若也聞得,則佛誕不慶已慶,佛法不說已說。還委悉J39nB447_p0394b30麼?」眾無語,師云:「巴歌唱處人皆和,琴韻彈時我獨知。」J39nB447_p0394c01又擊一下,便下座。
J39nB447_p0394c02師誕日,上堂。「晦跡東皋,渾忘花甲,一味曠懷松石,舒J39nB447_p0394c03嘯雲泉,不羨成仙成佛虛名,惟作應馬應牛活計,竟J39nB447_p0394c04不知東海增瀾、南山聳翠,豈期紳衿長者記起三生J39nB447_p0394c05石上事、耆老仁人展開一片劫前心,造古錦含春之J39nB447_p0394c06幛、撰鏗金戛玉之文,抱琴踏翠而來、攜鶴穿雲而至,J39nB447_p0394c07為老僧慶以六旬、祝其五福,兼請陞堂說法,乘時利J39nB447_p0394c08生。其奈老僧頑如硜石、拙若朽株,無半字之可談,何J39nB447_p0394c09眾生之可利?只好將不來相而來、不住相而住的以J39nB447_p0394c10塞來命。」拈拄杖,云:「秪這個非延非促、不減不增,與嘯J39nB447_p0394c11風石虎齊年、吼月泥牛其壽,倘若會得,方知此個壽J39nB447_p0394c12量能為萬象主、不逐四時凋。還委悉麼?若欲空其壽J39nB447_p0394c13者相,直須透過這重關。」復拈拄杖,下座。
本山嗣法門人真解,捐刻J39nB447_p0394c16 本師和尚語錄第四卷,附藏流通。伏願生生證涅J39nB447_p0394c17 槃妙心,世世弘正法眼藏。J39nB447_p0394c18 康熙戊寅歲季夏月吉旦。J39nB447_p0394c19 板藏嘉禾楞嚴經坊。
