師至雲間瑞應禪院上堂:「三藏十二部無非權說J37nB386_p0363a24三千七百則總是葛藤請和尚除棒喝格外提持。」J37nB386_p0363a25師打:「喚作棒喝入地獄如箭射。」乃云:「長慶道:『撞著J37nB386_p0363a26道伴交肩一生參學事畢。』大似乞兒見小利我則不J37nB386_p0363a27撞著道伴交肩不妨逢場作戲不見道法無定相J37nB386_p0363a28著相乖宗道不虛行隨行得路山僧邇來卸項上J37nB386_p0363a29三百斤鐵枷隨情放曠任運逍遙優游湖海來到雲J37nB386_p0363a30弔船子遺風求幻住往蹟杯浮三泖泛萬頃之瀰J37nB386_p0363b01筇陟九峰觀千秋之勝概幽尋曲討題石品泉J37nB386_p0363b02走廛行探朋訪舊渾忘佛法身心那有玄言妙諦J37nB386_p0363b03者同門法兄大淵和尚於此入廛垂手建大法幢J37nB386_p0363b04大法鼓吹大法螺雨大法雨到來觀光有分何堪重J37nB386_p0363b05上曲彔適逢請主虔誠推免不下未免矢上加尖J37nB386_p0363b06蛇添足去也記得趙州訪茱萸攜杖至法堂從東過J37nB386_p0363b07西從西過東茱萸云:『老老大大作甚麼?』州云:『探水。』J37nB386_p0363b08:『我者裏一滴也無探箇甚麼?』趙州靠拄杖便出J37nB386_p0363b09大老驀劄相逢將謂扶豎宗風開發後學簡點將來J37nB386_p0363b10茱萸家風被趙州看破趙州手腳又被茱萸捉敗J37nB386_p0363b11據令而行各與三十拄杖何故打麵還他州土麥J37nB386_p0363b12歌須是帝鄉人。」

宮保張太夫人為男弘勳祈福延生修大悲懺請上J37nB386_p0363b14。「眾生有千種纏縛菩薩有千隻手眼化眾生之執J37nB386_p0363b15如春風之解凍去眾生之迷惑如晝日之照昏J37nB386_p0363b16慈折攝權實照用殺活縱奪方便善巧無非拔苦與J37nB386_p0363b17超情離見且道即今出何手眼?」揮拂子:「大悲菩J37nB386_p0363b18薩以清淨楊枝水遍灑三千大千世界所有一切塵J37nB386_p0363b19勞穢惡無不蕩除消滅三艸二木大根大莖中根中J37nB386_p0363b20小根小莖乘此化育無不發萌條達以至開花結J37nB386_p0363b21悉成美材妙器為梁為棟為瑞為祥雖然雨滋三J37nB386_p0363b22秀艸片玉本來輝。」

滿散張太夫人請上堂。「佛祖以一音而演說眾生隨J37nB386_p0363b24類而得解鷲嶺拈花嵩山面壁豈不是以一音而演J37nB386_p0363b25德山入門便棒臨濟入門便喝豈不是以一音而J37nB386_p0363b26演說石鞏張弓道吾舞笏豈不是以一音而演說J37nB386_p0363b27霞燒木佛翠微供羅漢豈不是以一音而演說瑞巖J37nB386_p0363b28者裏不解以一音而演說一味遇緣即宗逢場作戲J37nB386_p0363b29有時高高山頂立有時深深海底行邇來借大悲神J37nB386_p0363b30直得豎窮三際橫貫十虛天雨四花地搖六震J37nB386_p0363c01動了石柱峰神出來道:『我住此山二千餘年未聞有J37nB386_p0363c02者箇消息。』山僧不覺呵呵大笑且道笑箇甚麼?」便下J37nB386_p0363c03

新戒付衣上堂。「披佛之衣行佛之行似佛而所謂J37nB386_p0363c05倚他門戶傍他牆被時人喚作郎有般漢聞與麼J37nB386_p0363c06我則不然直得赤條條地無欲無依上無攀仰J37nB386_p0363c07嫌佛不做嗔佛不為寧使永劫受沉淪不向J37nB386_p0363c08諸聖求解脫如是作得主宰立得腳跟不妨一員無J37nB386_p0363c09事道人檢點將來自救不了在如若開鑿人天陶鑄J37nB386_p0363c10凡聖須是向異類中行始得還委悉麼不惜入泥並J37nB386_p0363c11帶水從教戴角與披毛。」

了義悟知藏緣化歸納疏請上堂。「釋迦老子娑婆化J37nB386_p0363c13阿彌陀佛西方化主昨晚夢見娑婆化主問訊西J37nB386_p0363c14方化主云:『世事堪忍否眾生易度否?』西方化主荅云J37nB386_p0363c15我此間名為極樂國土樹林皆悉念佛七寶池J37nB386_p0363c16內皆是金琉璃赤珠瑪瑙硨磲所成所生之人盡J37nB386_p0363c17是蓮花化生無有世事堪忍不堪忍眾生易度不易J37nB386_p0363c18。』釋迦老子道:『阿彌陀佛你享現成福來處了J37nB386_p0363c19你蓮花化生之人皆是我苦娑婆眾生七寶蓮花J37nB386_p0363c20皆是隨其福報而有你說得一片好話不知我在者J37nB386_p0363c21裏辛辛苦苦多少方便權巧化來底?』阿彌陀佛云:『J37nB386_p0363c22婆眾生多生極樂你因甚不歸安養?』釋迦老子被此J37nB386_p0363c23一問直得無言可荅禪床震動山僧不覺驚醒今日J37nB386_p0363c24適逢納疏請法不妨鬥湊得恰好設有人道:『寶華座J37nB386_p0363c25上何得說夢?』山僧道:『癡人面前不得說夢。』汝等俱是J37nB386_p0363c26靈利衲僧道火何曾燒只如釋迦老子因甚不J37nB386_p0363c27歸安養長在娑婆?」一僧云:「請和尚歸方丈。」師云:「不可J37nB386_p0363c28得少為足。」悟知藏云:「但見皇風成一片不知何處有J37nB386_p0363c29封疆?」師云:「釋迦老子即不然何不道業在其中幾時J37nB386_p0363c30業盡不到虛空撲落地也須滄海化為塵。」

師到普雨禪院上堂。「連日法師向者裏講得天雨四J37nB386_p0364a02地搖六震諸人還領略也未若也領略不可認奴J37nB386_p0364a03作郎若未領略不可喚鐘作甕秖如山僧到者裏又J37nB386_p0364a04作麼生若也頭上安頭未免埋沒你諸人若也別行J37nB386_p0364a05一路未免惑亂你諸人若也諸人腳跟穩當任你佛J37nB386_p0364a06祖到來無伊插足分何況其餘說黃道白總是祭鬼J37nB386_p0364a07神茶飯拭瘡疣故紙與你諸人了無交涉秖因腳跟J37nB386_p0364a08未穩未免見人說有便著有見人說無便著無說不J37nB386_p0364a09有不無便著不有不無說亦有亦無便著亦有亦無J37nB386_p0364a10不見道離四句絕百非達磨老子來只求箇不受惑J37nB386_p0364a11底人如何是不受惑底人?」一僧纔出師便棒僧擬問J37nB386_p0364a12師云:「眼目定動白雲萬里。」復舉:「一老宿一夏不說法J37nB386_p0364a13有一僧云:『不望佛法得聞正因二字也罷。』老宿云:『J37nB386_p0364a14是正因一字也無。』鄰菴一老宿聞:『可惜一釜羹J37nB386_p0364a15被兩顆老鼠糞污。』」師云:「二老可謂一著高一著J37nB386_p0364a16步高一步檢點將來大似商君立法蕭何制律秖如J37nB386_p0364a17山僧今日與麼屙碌碌地且道是同是別富嫌千口J37nB386_p0364a18貧恨一身多。」

上堂。「眾生因貪癡墮三惡道諸佛以貪癡成等J37nB386_p0364a20正覺何也諸佛不貪安能萬德莊嚴不瞋豈能斷除J37nB386_p0364a21惡業不癡何以廣度眾生既然萬德莊嚴則貪之一J37nB386_p0364a22字息矣既能斷除惡業則瞋之一字息矣至如眾生J37nB386_p0364a23無量無邊也有可度者也有不可度者怎能度脫得J37nB386_p0364a24則癡之一字未有了日在是事且置秖如瑞巖拄J37nB386_p0364a25杖子終日敲東擊西且道害癡不害癡?」良久:「曾為J37nB386_p0364a26浪子偏憐客自是貪杯惜醉人。」復舉:「藥山久不上堂J37nB386_p0364a27院主白云:『大眾久思清誨請和尚不吝慈悲。』藥山上J37nB386_p0364a28堂便下座院主云:『因甚和尚不示一言?』藥山云:『經有J37nB386_p0364a29經師論有論師爭怪得老僧?』藥山幸自可憐生被院J37nB386_p0364a30主一拶直得屎尿一齊來山僧亦久不上堂此因延J37nB386_p0364b01壽證長老引爾隱禪人請法山僧未免高陞曲彔J37nB386_p0364b02碌碌地且道經耶論耶落花臺上重鋪錦瑪瑙階前J37nB386_p0364b03布赤砂。」

華嚴期滿散上堂。「唯一堅密身一切塵中現所謂J37nB386_p0364b05現凡而無有聖凡之相現男現女而無有男女之J37nB386_p0364b06乃至真中現俗俗中現真無中現有有中現無J37nB386_p0364b07中現染染中現淨空中現色色中現空而無有諸相J37nB386_p0364b08再無真俗淨染有無空色互現之相如是一切相如J37nB386_p0364b09一切心如幻一切法如響一切佛如影俱不可得J37nB386_p0364b10既不可得堅密身亦不可得則眾生身即是佛身J37nB386_p0364b11界即是眾生界此世界即是他世界世間法即是出J37nB386_p0364b12世間法所以東方入定西方起男身入定女身起J37nB386_p0364b13身入定天身起天身入定凡身起凡身入定聲聞起J37nB386_p0364b14聲聞入定菩薩起菩薩入定世界起世界入定剎那J37nB386_p0364b15剎那入定一日起一日入定千劫起千劫入定以J37nB386_p0364b16至不可說不可說劫起大眾此以張老夫人六旬華J37nB386_p0364b17誕之辰華嚴道場圓滿之日山僧如是舉揚且道所J37nB386_p0364b18生功德增壽量多少?」良久豎拂子:「若向者裏薦得J37nB386_p0364b19譬如以一切華雲香雲衣服鬘蓋雲乃至不可說雨J37nB386_p0364b20眾寶莊嚴雲供養百千萬億佛剎微塵數諸佛所生J37nB386_p0364b21功德何啻千倍不及一萬倍不及一以至算數譬喻J37nB386_p0364b22皆不能及一如或未然年年此月水亭畔無數蓮華J37nB386_p0364b23敷滿池。」

禮萬佛懺上堂:「古剎重興宗風大闡四眾臨筵J37nB386_p0364b25何指示?」師云:「霜葉紅於二月花。」進云:「秖如龐居士道J37nB386_p0364b26十方同聚會箇箇學無為。』未審無為作麼生學?」師云J37nB386_p0364b27放下著。」進云:「和尚也不得向虛空裏釘橛。」師打:「J37nB386_p0364b28要頭上安頭。」乃云:「常不輕菩薩逢人便拜且道拜箇J37nB386_p0364b29甚麼德山臨濟見人便棒便喝且道棒箇甚麼喝箇J37nB386_p0364b30甚麼至於擎叉打地舞笏張弓畢竟是箇甚麼諸仁J37nB386_p0364c01若向者裏著眼合掌低頭總不空過如或未然J37nB386_p0364c02佛過去久矣。」復舉:「昔有秀才看千佛名經》,問長沙云J37nB386_p0364c03百千諸佛秖聞其名未審居何國土還化物也無?』J37nB386_p0364c04:『黃鶴樓詩崔顥題過秀才還曾題也未?』:『未曾。』J37nB386_p0364c05:『得閒題取一篇。』」師云:「長沙固是應機圓活手眼通J37nB386_p0364c06可惜者秀才只善攻文未知武略若是山僧作秀J37nB386_p0364c07待他云:『得閒題取一篇。』便掀倒禪床秖如今禮萬J37nB386_p0364c08佛洪名設有人問:『居何國土?』便乃鞠躬問訊何故J37nB386_p0364c09排夏臘俗列耆年更為頌出寒窗終日只攻文不見J37nB386_p0364c10長安見白雲黃鶴樓詩千古話晴川歷歷漢陽濆。」

開爐上堂:「古剎中興大有緣剎竿重豎靄祥煙J37nB386_p0364c12凡煉聖即不問一鎚打就事如何?」師云:「費力不少。」J37nB386_p0364c13:「昔日大通智勝佛十劫坐道場因甚佛法不現前J37nB386_p0364c14不得成佛道?」師云:「文不加點。」:「有疑有問未審和尚J37nB386_p0364c15還許否?」師云:「不許。」進云:「恁麼則夜靜水寒魚不餌滿J37nB386_p0364c16船空載月明歸。」師云:「蒼天蒼天。」乃云:「天地未形之際J37nB386_p0364c17陰陽未判以前早有者箇爐鞴聖不鼓鑄凡不煆煉J37nB386_p0364c18一道平等浩然大均縱有妙密鉗錘也須縮手諸仁J37nB386_p0364c19還知者箇時節麼便好散去將謂無合殺。」拈拄杖J37nB386_p0364c20山僧今日於拄杖頭上開箇紅爐一切凡情聖解J37nB386_p0364c21大藏破故紙千七百爛葛藤總向者裏銷鎔鑄一箇J37nB386_p0364c22鐵橛子拋向東東方世界粉碎拋向西西方世界平J37nB386_p0364c23拋來擲去南方北方四維上下悉皆消殞佛來搖J37nB386_p0364c24動不得祖來移易不能塞在汝諸仁面前作何處置?」J37nB386_p0364c25良久:「莫云老漢無方便只要人參鐵橛禪。」卓一卓J37nB386_p0364c26下座

元旦上堂:「一片皇風歸有道瓣香聊祝聖明君J37nB386_p0364c28何是新年頭佛法?」師豎起拂子進云:「如何是新年佛J37nB386_p0364c29法有?」師云:「也有也不有。」進云:「如何是新年佛法無?」J37nB386_p0364c30:「也無也不無。」乃云:「新年頭佛法適纔有人問過了J37nB386_p0365a01最初一句無人道著山僧不可不道諸人不可不知J37nB386_p0365a02不見道識得一萬事畢透得一無阻隔天得一以清J37nB386_p0365a03地得一以寧君王得一天下太平。」良久:「山僧擬開J37nB386_p0365a04是第二句了諸人纔側聆是第二頭還會麼J37nB386_p0365a05爾善知時節我今不再三。」

龍牙雲叟和尚語錄編成付梓龍牙監院奯雪侍者J37nB386_p0365a07慈照請上堂:「龍牙山裏龍晴空澍大雨推倒涅槃J37nB386_p0365a08佛祖位不住因甚今日在和尚拂子頭上塵說剎J37nB386_p0365a09說無間歇?」師云:「竿木隨身逢場作戲。」進云:「昔日雪峰J37nB386_p0365a10三上投子九到洞山因甚麼向鼇山成道?」師云:「南山J37nB386_p0365a11起雲北山下雨。」進云:「後來住菴有僧敲門雪峰放身J37nB386_p0365a12出云:『是什麼?』僧亦云:『是什麼?』還有優劣也無?」師云:「J37nB386_p0365a13磚打著連底凍。」進云:「為甚麼雲峰低頭歸菴?」師云:「J37nB386_p0365a14泥裏有。」進云:「僧舉似巖頭頭云:『我當時若向伊道J37nB386_p0365a15末後句天下人不奈雪老何。』作麼生是末後句?」師云J37nB386_p0365a16風前雪彈子。」進云:「頭云:『我與雪峰同條生不與雪峰J37nB386_p0365a17同條死要識末後句只者是。』意旨如何?」師云:「若把是J37nB386_p0365a18非來入耳從前知盡成仇。」進云:「秖如雪峰末後句J37nB386_p0365a19巖頭證明今朝雲叔末後句和尚證明和尚末後句J37nB386_p0365a20阿誰作證?」師云:「大眾側聆。」進云:「一堂風冷淡千古意J37nB386_p0365a21分明。」師云:「且莫錯流傳。」乃云:「黃面墨曇大喻三十J37nB386_p0365a22喻八百說成一大藏猶云始從鹿野苑終至跋提河J37nB386_p0365a23如是二中間未曾說一字。』大似掩耳偷鈴抱贓叫屈J37nB386_p0365a24周金剛燒青龍鈔拈條赤楖栗佛來祖來也棒J37nB386_p0365a25較些子及乎道箇吾宗無語句亦無一法與人。』分明J37nB386_p0365a26此處無銀三十兩爭似我龍牙和尚胸次不存元字J37nB386_p0365a27頂門具摩醯眼聊借洞庭湖為一張口掇君山J37nB386_p0365a28作箇舌頭八百里之波瀾千萬頃之空闊默時說J37nB386_p0365a29時默大施門開無擁塞一一從胸襟流出與我蓋天J37nB386_p0365a30蓋地去在雖然如是舉揚也是謗他不少何故鳳棲J37nB386_p0365b01不在梧桐樹碧落寒潭寫影長。」

解制上堂。「霜凝水凍當時結也日暖風和而今解也J37nB386_p0365b03所謂時節若至其理自彰秖如道太陽門下日日三J37nB386_p0365b04明月堂前時時九夏還知得者箇消息麼知得者J37nB386_p0365b05箇消息常在途中不離家舍常居家舍不離途中J37nB386_p0365b06條椽下即是百城煙水擔囊負缽豈殊疊足蒲團J37nB386_p0365b07則結也如是解也亦如是若不如是雲自帝鄉去J37nB386_p0365b08水從江漢流。」

開爐上堂:「大開爐鞴煆聖煉凡忽有不受鉗錘底J37nB386_p0365c04到來如何煆煉?」師云:「堪作什麼?」進云:「掀翻海嶽求知J37nB386_p0365c05撥轉乾坤見太平。」師云:「遲八刻。」:「結制即不問J37nB386_p0365c06如何是踢翻漆桶邊事?」師云:「道什麼?」進云:「粧聾作啞J37nB386_p0365c07有甚了期?」師云:「識甚好惡?」進云:「和尚不得壓良為賤。」J37nB386_p0365c08師云:「沒量大人。」乃云:「諸方舊例十月開爐瑞巖遠出J37nB386_p0365c09方還蹉跎半月餘便見冷湫湫地若論爐頭熱鬧J37nB386_p0365c10過多幾塊頑銅鈍鐵果要驚天動地須是冷灰裏豆J37nB386_p0365c11爆一聲使天下人摸索不著不見道若能自解倒騎J37nB386_p0365c12一生不落他人後。」復云:「散以七淨花淨邊垢J37nB386_p0365c13布以八解水垢邊淨淨垢一齊洗猶是法身病J37nB386_p0365c14洗到無可洗入水見長人。」
