示眾。「你者一隊漢箇箇如了事人相似總道饑來喫J37nB386_p0340b04困來打眠撒手撒腳且恁麼過時也不易到此只J37nB386_p0340b05恐未在不見昔日僧問大珠和尚:『修道還用功否?』J37nB386_p0340b06:『用功。』僧云:『如何用功?』珠云:『饑來喫飯困來即眠。』J37nB386_p0340b07:『一切人總如是同師用功否?』珠云:『不同。』僧云:『何故J37nB386_p0340b08不同?』珠云:『他喫飯時不肯喫飯百種須索睡時不肯J37nB386_p0340b09萬般計較所以不同也。』你者一隊漢請自檢點看J37nB386_p0340b10還曾實到與麼田地也未秖如者般語話且道如何J37nB386_p0340b11還檢點得麼若喚作自受用三昧未免孤負古人J37nB386_p0340b12喚作拖泥帶水說老婆禪未具參學眼在汝若不落J37nB386_p0340b13情塵意想便領得去不妨暢快所謂如將梵位直授J37nB386_p0340b14凡庸遂乃不驚不怖所謂只是舊時人只改舊時行J37nB386_p0340b15履處如若意根下稍涉狐疑敢保他時異日大有事J37nB386_p0340b16神鼎而今又不然設有人問:『和尚修道還用功J37nB386_p0340b17?』亦云:『用功。』『作麼生用聻?』但云:『饑時忘喫飯困時忘J37nB386_p0340b18打眠。』或云:『一切人同和尚如是用功得否?』遂云:『J37nB386_p0340b19辦肯心決不相賺。』」

示眾:「春風吹大野萬物盡光新為復法爾如然J37nB386_p0340b21復神通妙用?」師云:「脫㲉烏龜飛上天。」進云:「一聲幽鳥J37nB386_p0340b22雲天外靄靄山光翠欲流。」師云:「被風吹別調中。」J37nB386_p0340b23:「十方聚會臭肉來蠅選佛場開懸羊賣狗閉門打J37nB386_p0340b24接上上機落艸求人示種種說要而言之不出好J37nB386_p0340b25肉剜瘡缽盂安柄所以道說心說性是太平奸賊J37nB386_p0340b26棒行喝乃亂世英雄秖如神鼎有時與你諸人作生J37nB386_p0340b27冤家有時與你諸人如陌路人有時與你諸人開山J37nB386_p0340b28掘土則人境俱忘主賓不立有時與你諸人拈椎豎J37nB386_p0340b29則海水騰波須彌岌崿且道巴鼻尋常又落在什J37nB386_p0340b30麼處而今禪和家愛向人口邊覓佛覓祖覓禪覓道J37nB386_p0340c01覓真如解脫菩提涅槃了自家現成家業失頭J37nB386_p0340c02狂走見人鼓動唇皮敲床豎拂便作勝解及乎山禽J37nB386_p0340c03聚集牛動尾巴將作等閒日間掘土開山作一邊J37nB386_p0340c04夜間收足打坐作一邊動靜二相逆緣順境尚打不J37nB386_p0340c05說甚左右逢源十方通暢坐一炷香便云工夫J37nB386_p0340c06一回務便謂空過山僧說一句便道慈悲打一棒便J37nB386_p0340c07擬惡發殊不知頂底是天立底是地一向飯籮邊坐J37nB386_p0340c08了忍饑大海裏浸了叫渴又爭知得終日穿衣喫飯J37nB386_p0340c09不曾挂一縷絲不曾咬一粒米然則畢竟如何相為J37nB386_p0340c10即得?」良久:「心不負人面無慚色。」

示眾。「千種喻萬般說只是要君早休歇不見道如何J37nB386_p0340c12是禪莫向外邊傳如何是道莫向外邊討如何是心J37nB386_p0340c13莫向外邊尋如何是佛莫向外邊覓古人與麼老婆J37nB386_p0340c14分明八字打開兩手分付爭奈禪和家轉轉錯會J37nB386_p0340c15見說道莫向外邊傳覓便去黑山下鬼窟裏閉眉合J37nB386_p0340c16眼向內尋討殊不知內外中間不可得教中是道J37nB386_p0340c17過了也所以佛眼和尚云:『山僧畫方成圓指南成北J37nB386_p0340c18何故如此蓋為諸人唱還鄉曲子曲調不圓熟路難J37nB386_p0340c19鄉談未改非指南之不妙也。』諸仁者而今合作麼J37nB386_p0340c20生話會畢竟向什麼處歸宿?」一僧云:「大地齊超越。」J37nB386_p0340c21起身云:「啼得血流無用處不如緘口過殘春。」

示眾。「二月中春萬象光生好華三樹五樹幽鳥一聲J37nB386_p0340c23兩聲漁父漾舟而釣農夫驅犢而耕青轉山頭千螺J37nB386_p0340c24矗黛綠回波面一鏡澄明說甚麼廣長舌清淨身J37nB386_p0340c25似眼中著楔耳裏添釘無端更有香嚴者漢與夫潦J37nB386_p0340c26倒靈雲見桃華而悟道聞擊竹以明心分明兩顆老J37nB386_p0340c27鼠糞可憐污一釜羹賺他無限癡男女多向根境J37nB386_p0340c28上覓聲色裏尋且道畢竟作麼生?」良久展拂子:「J37nB386_p0340c29十二峰遙接目好山都向洞庭春。」

示眾。「天寒人寒梅花香浸月欄干滴水滴凍嶽面風J37nB386_p0341a01來林影動無位真人不挂絲紙裹麻纏無罅縫所以J37nB386_p0341a02會得也目前包裹不會也目前包裹若有人道得J37nB386_p0341a03獨脫句熱炙盞子點茶與你溼口。」

佛誕黃壽昌居士請示眾。「身是光明幢心是神通藏J37nB386_p0341a05大眾周昭王二十六年前人人眼橫鼻直可謂文不J37nB386_p0341a06加點二十六年後箇箇履地戴天何須矢上加尖J37nB386_p0341a07金相看來那箇不無紫磨身脫出誰非本具然則正J37nB386_p0341a08當二十六年釋迦老子爰於此日無風起浪下兜率J37nB386_p0341a09降皇宮指天指地云:『唯我獨尊。』大似旁若無人雲門J37nB386_p0341a10大師忍俊不禁一棒打殺與狗子喫有什麼罪過J37nB386_p0341a11不因漁父引爭得見波濤?」復云:「茲者壽昌居士欣J37nB386_p0341a12此嘉會難逢捐貲設供請法飯僧又以三業門中翻J37nB386_p0341a13前十邪稟受五戒所謂一身清淨則多身清淨多身J37nB386_p0341a14清淨則世界清淨世界清淨則現前一會若僧若俗J37nB386_p0341a15無不清淨既總清淨則無罪可懺而罪垢消亡無冤J37nB386_p0341a16可釋而冤家解脫無災可弭而災消如雪盪無福可J37nB386_p0341a17增而福至若雲臻乘此奇特因作此殊勝事虛空壞J37nB386_p0341a18而不滅劫石化而彌存然雖如是猶是止啼之說J37nB386_p0341a19竟如何十丈火中開菡萏千年石上現優曇。」

示眾。「直截省要點即不到合水和泥不道不道一任J37nB386_p0341a21雲簫繚亂吹熨斗煎茶不同銚且道還出得摩竭掩J37nB386_p0341a22室麼試舉看。」:「藥山久不上堂院主請陞座藥山云J37nB386_p0341a23打鐘著。』大眾纔集藥山便歸方丈院主隨後白云:『J37nB386_p0341a24眾久思清誨因甚一言不措?』藥山云:『經有經師論有J37nB386_p0341a25論師。』」師云:「藥山自謂得格外之機行逸群之令檢點J37nB386_p0341a26將來未免藏頭露尾要得去離泥水活人眼目猶較J37nB386_p0341a27百步在雖然雖是死蛇解弄也活且看神鼎出手拈J37nB386_p0341a28藥山久不上堂曾為浪子偏憐客院主請陞座J37nB386_p0341a29是貪盃惜醉人藥山云:『打鐘著。』是何心行大眾纔集J37nB386_p0341a30藥山便歸方丈荷葉團團團似鏡菱角尖尖尖似錐J37nB386_p0341b01院主隨入方丈猶待第二杓惡水那白云:『大眾久思J37nB386_p0341b02清誨和尚因甚一言不措?』疏田不貯水悲龍爭奈何J37nB386_p0341b03藥山云切莫碗鳴聲。『經有經師論有論師。』蝦跳何曾J37nB386_p0341b04出得斗且作麼生道得出斗句?」良久:「打睡關門接J37nB386_p0341b05上流通身泥水未曾收翻思清白傳家者洗耳溪頭J37nB386_p0341b06不飲牛。」

端午示眾。「龍牙道:『學道先須有悟由還如爭鬥快龍J37nB386_p0341b08雖然舊閣閒田地一度贏來方始休。』大眾舊閣閒J37nB386_p0341b09田地則且置作麼生說箇鬥龍舟底道理今日山僧J37nB386_p0341b10聊應箇時節不惜為你諸人葛藤一上當人本分者J37nB386_p0341b11一著子日用現前不從人得而今不得安閒只為馳J37nB386_p0341b12求心不歇馳求心不歇便乃爭強取勝業識茫茫J37nB386_p0341b13宗師家垂下一言半句點出一機一境正如箇錦J37nB386_p0341b14標兒相似擲向波間東看成西南觀成北活潑潑地J37nB386_p0341b15轉轆轆地無你近傍處無你捉摸處既近傍捉摸不J37nB386_p0341b16即將你平昔爭勝負馳求心盡情移向者裏著力J37nB386_p0341b17正如今日世間人在龍舟上千般伎倆萬般智巧J37nB386_p0341b18時抖擻將來奮力向前危亡不顧身命俱捐那問江J37nB386_p0341b19湖之深淺誰管波浪之險惡橫衝直撞右轉J37nB386_p0341b20擊尾應心眼相資千人合其力萬人同其志單單只J37nB386_p0341b21在一箇錦標上著腳忽然眼親手到一逴逴得鬨然J37nB386_p0341b22贏得一場大笑然後方肯歸家帖帖地依舊做本營J37nB386_p0341b23若不恁麼一回教他歇如何肯歇縱然肯歇其心J37nB386_p0341b24亦未歇在所以道雖然舊閣閒田地一度贏來方始J37nB386_p0341b25諸人還曾恁麼一回也未設或未曾山僧今日向J37nB386_p0341b26山頭上駕隻龍舟虛空裏挂箇標兒也要諸人著力J37nB386_p0341b27一番知箇休歇。」良久揮拂子:「見之不取思之千里。」

示眾。「天童師翁道:『為愛中秋夜月清與人同樂稱人J37nB386_p0341b29萬億州都皆普照一人舉首一輪明。』可謂圓同太J37nB386_p0341b30無欠無餘然而檢點將來未免貪觀天上J37nB386_p0341c01今晚不肖頑孫亦有一偈不圖別出光芒秖要流J37nB386_p0341c02通正眼。」乃云:「此月何曾分外清世人自是異人情J37nB386_p0341c03吞萬象孤圓處不用抬頭歷歷明。」良久:「還見麼J37nB386_p0341c04從天上覓莫向水中尋。」

示眾。「不以耳聽將什麼聞聲香嚴悟處不在擊竹邊J37nB386_p0341c06不以眼見將什麼觀色俱胝得處不在指頭上到者J37nB386_p0341c07直得心境絕機智亡萬緣寢絲不綴上無諸佛可J37nB386_p0341c08下無靈可重淨裸裸赤灑灑沒可把說什麼J37nB386_p0341c09曠雖聰無處著耳離婁雖辨無處著眼直饒鶖子J37nB386_p0341c10也只得望崖而退雖然如是若人達得者般境界J37nB386_p0341c11好箇不自在漢何故不見道你若隨緣得似風飛沙J37nB386_p0341c12走石不關空但於事上通無事見色聞聲不用聾。」

示眾。「孟冬十月旦落木蕭蕭散千古意分明一堂風J37nB386_p0341c14冷澹好諸禪德一堂風冷澹驗在目前千古意分明J37nB386_p0341c15切須端的且道是什麼意祖師意耶玄妙意耶作麼J37nB386_p0341c16生分明還是見得分明還是會得分明若道會得分J37nB386_p0341c17正是識情邊事若道見得分明又是見未除J37nB386_p0341c18道是祖師意則埋沒若道是玄妙意則孤負諸J37nB386_p0341c19不見夾山老漢道:『目前無法意在目前不是目前J37nB386_p0341c20非耳目之所到。』雖然如是切忌向鬼窟裏作活計J37nB386_p0341c21要知麼仙人端不坐蓬壺鬧市嘗居見也無三醉岳J37nB386_p0341c22陽人不識朗然飛過洞庭湖。」

開爐示眾:「開爐結制則不問五家宗派請師宣。」J37nB386_p0341c24:「逐家問將來。」進云:「如何是臨濟宗?」師云:「晴空霹靂。」J37nB386_p0341c25進云:「如何是溈仰宗?」師云:「古錦含春。」進云:「如何是雲J37nB386_p0341c26門宗?」師云:「電光莫搆。」進云:「如何是法眼宗?」師云:「千山J37nB386_p0341c27仰嶽。」僧又問臨濟宗師云:「因甚不問曹洞宗?」僧擬議J37nB386_p0341c28師打:「不勞納敗。」乃云:「如如向上沒可安排大火聚J37nB386_p0341c29不容蚊蚋。」拈拄杖卓一卓:「然則神鼎今日當爐J37nB386_p0341c30不避火要且鎔缾盤釵釧為一金攪酥酪醍醐為一J37nB386_p0342a01且道是向上不是向上無論世界闊一丈火爐闊J37nB386_p0342a02一丈直得豎窮三際橫亙十虛一切是聖是凡是魔J37nB386_p0342a03是佛有學無學有情無情乃至千七百則爛葛藤J37nB386_p0342a04千餘軸破故紙都盧向此中一時銷鑠無有纖毫透J37nB386_p0342a05且道是安排不是安排設有純鋼打就生鐵鑄成J37nB386_p0342a06不顧危亡底漢來正好朝與三千暮與八百且道容J37nB386_p0342a07蚊蚋不容蚊蚋還委悉麼?」復卓拄杖:「換骨洗腸重J37nB386_p0342a08整頓通身手眼更須參。」

示眾。「金剛圈栗棘蓬陳爛骨董不用拈出祕魔叉J37nB386_p0342a10鞏弓多年滯貨撥置一邊至於佛法二字久矣不復J37nB386_p0342a11夢見一條拄杖子沒些意智終朝與木頭土塊敲磕J37nB386_p0342a12且道還有知痛癢者麼如無山僧引一古頌為你說J37nB386_p0342a13菜園墻倒晴方築房店籬穿雨過修院宇漏時隨J37nB386_p0342a14分整兒孫大小盡風流。」

示眾。「終日搬磚運瓦挨破釋迦老子鼻孔徹夜經行J37nB386_p0342a16打坐打失達磨大師眼睛就中有一箇漢也不打坐J37nB386_p0342a17經行也不運瓦搬磚釋迦老子與他水米無交達磨J37nB386_p0342a18大師亦任東來西去且道他據何道理便恁麼作得J37nB386_p0342a19坐得斷?」良久:「還鄉盡是兒孫事祖父從來不出J37nB386_p0342a20。」

弟子成鍔脫白請示眾:「轉凡成聖即不問秖如朕J37nB386_p0342a22兆未分前如何緇素?」師云:「獅子窟中無異獸。」進云J37nB386_p0342a23與麼則一人有賴乾坤闊四海無餘日月高。」師云:「J37nB386_p0342a24方搓彈子便要捏金剛。」:「向上一著千聖不傳如何J37nB386_p0342a25是千聖不傳底旨?」師云:「盡大地人不欠缺。」進云:「末後J37nB386_p0342a26一機佛祖難測如何是佛祖難測底事?」師云:「只為太J37nB386_p0342a27分明。」乃云:「頭顱本是十分圓挂弊由來顯妙傳須信J37nB386_p0342a28威音那畔事非僧非俗亦非仙所以香至出家非為J37nB386_p0342a29身心丹霞說戒掩耳而趨無人縛汝安用解脫莫外J37nB386_p0342a30馳求不從人得只者如今靈靈不昧了了常知見聞J37nB386_p0342b01不到言詮不及透聲透色絕跡絕塵一段光明未嘗J37nB386_p0342b02昏晦且道還有聖凡差別迷悟染淨也無?」良久:「J37nB386_p0342b03非當日相端然不改舊時人。」

示眾凡有僧問師一概打退乃云:「開爐經一月J37nB386_p0342b05參五日一說禪和瞌睡不惺長老徒費唇舌所以維J37nB386_p0342b06摩臥疾於毘耶釋迦掩室於摩竭須菩提唱無說而J37nB386_p0342b07顯道梵釋絕視聽而證龜成鱉看來雖出一頭也則J37nB386_p0342b08未離窠窟總然抖盡屎腸料掉了無交涉不如信意J37nB386_p0342b09施為隨分三七廿八那管方木圓竅一味橫該直抹J37nB386_p0342b10雖然打不著你心下事不妨疑得不休歇何故大洋J37nB386_p0342b11海底揚蓬塵山上鯉魚身出血。」

冬節示眾:「群陰方剝盡律管乍回陽時節因緣事J37nB386_p0342b13請師為舉揚。」師云:「昨夜冰河齊發燄。」進云:「恁麼則化J37nB386_p0342b14日舒長去也。」師云:「不勞重說偈言。」進云:「昔日淨名手J37nB386_p0342b15摶香飯供養十方諸大菩薩大作佛事未審意旨如J37nB386_p0342b16?」師云:「因齋不妨慶贊。」進云:「即今居士設齋供養三J37nB386_p0342b17四百無面目底衲僧且道還有優劣也無?」師云:「優則J37nB386_p0342b18總優劣則總劣。」進云:「大似渾圇吞箇棗。」師云:「你試分J37nB386_p0342b19析看。」進云:「泣露千般草吟風一樣松。」師云:「將謂本分J37nB386_p0342b20道流元來座主家奴。」乃云:「群陰盡一陽生否極則泰J37nB386_p0342b21心路絕疑團破窮變則融通是知天地造化有陰J37nB386_p0342b22有陽有消有長日月照臨有晦有明有盈有昃聖王J37nB386_p0342b23治化有君有臣有禮有樂佛法治世有頓有漸有權J37nB386_p0342b24有實衲僧作略有生有殺有照有用所謂論其汙漫J37nB386_p0342b25則千差掬其旨趣則一致也茲辰乃大禮令節適遠J37nB386_p0342b26近沙彌於此納戒施主四眾於此植福堅請山僧說J37nB386_p0342b27貴圖功不浪施可謂好日多同事非偶然事非偶J37nB386_p0342b28然則且置作麼生說箇好日多同底道理?」揮拂子J37nB386_p0342b29新戒奉持鵝護雪檀那懺罪日融霜洪鈞氣轉無多J37nB386_p0342b30萬象欣欣盡向陽。」

元旦示眾:「歲盡年窮即不問斬新條令事如何?」J37nB386_p0342c02:「山門依舊向南開。」進云:「春風一動萬物咸新還有J37nB386_p0342c03不涉春緣者麼?」師云:「長見寒冰三尺厚。」進云:「春色滿J37nB386_p0342c04園關不住一枝紅杏出墻來。」師云:「布袋裏盛錐子J37nB386_p0342c05出頭是好手。」僧喝師驀頭一棒:「向你道縮頭去。」J37nB386_p0342c06禮拜師乃云:「諸方過歲色色斬新神鼎度年般般仍J37nB386_p0342c07天仍舊地仍舊山仍舊水仍舊人情仍舊物色仍J37nB386_p0342c08去年松色鬱蔥蔥今日相看依然茂山門一向向J37nB386_p0342c09南開不改寒冰三尺厚又誰管他鬥富誇靡東攢西J37nB386_p0342c10社舞村歌南前北後笑倒灶前王大娘羞殺街頭J37nB386_p0342c11李阿秀假饒弄得十全來也是一場空漏逗好諸禪J37nB386_p0342c12白玉白無逾黃金黃自就日月本無言光明彌宇J37nB386_p0342c13阿呵呵摩挲兩眼看青山雖不新鮮只是經舊。」J37nB386_p0342c14拄杖下座

解冬示眾:「一期結制圓滿請師拈示末後句。」J37nB386_p0342c16:「透網金鱗猶滯水。」進云:「畢竟如何保任?」師云:「回途J37nB386_p0342c17石馬出沙籠。」乃云:「上無攀仰天不能蓋下絕J37nB386_p0342c18不能載人人常光現前日月不能照臨箇箇壁立千J37nB386_p0342c19萬象不能覆藏豎窮三際橫亙十虛來無所從J37nB386_p0342c20無所至所以道二祖不往西天達磨不來東土如是J37nB386_p0342c21則諸人昔日來本不曾來山僧結又何曾結今日去J37nB386_p0342c22本不曾去山僧解又何曾解解不曾解風吹不動天J37nB386_p0342c23邊月結不曾結雪厭難摧澗底松去不曾去野色更J37nB386_p0342c24無山隔斷來不曾來天光直與水相通山僧到者裏J37nB386_p0342c25結也如是解也如是諸人到者裏來也如是去也如J37nB386_p0342c26雖然秖如九十日內因甚水洩不通正當今日因J37nB386_p0342c27什麼玄關大啟?」良久:「還委悉麼晦夜明宵無二月J37nB386_p0342c28花開花落總春風。」

晚參:「僧問香嚴:『如何是道?』嚴云:『枯木裏龍吟。』:『J37nB386_p0342c30何是道中人?』嚴云:『髑髏裏眼睛。』僧又問石霜:『如何是J37nB386_p0343a01枯木裏龍吟?』霜云:『猶帶喜在。』:『如何是髑髏裏眼睛?』J37nB386_p0343a02霜云:『猶帶識在。』又問曹山:『如何是枯木裏龍吟?』山云J37nB386_p0343a03血脈不斷。』:『如何是髑髏裏眼睛?』山云:『乾不盡。』遂有J37nB386_p0343a04頌云:『枯木龍吟真見道髑髏無識眼初明喜識盡時J37nB386_p0343a05消息盡當人那辨濁中清?』圓悟老人云:『一人透語滲J37nB386_p0343a06一人透情滲漏一人透見滲漏。』大慧云:『諸人還揀J37nB386_p0343a07得出麼若揀不出不惜眉毛為諸人說破香嚴透語J37nB386_p0343a08滲漏被語言縛殺石霜透情滲漏被情識使殺曹山J37nB386_p0343a09透見滲漏被見聞覺知惑殺分明說了具眼者辨取。』」J37nB386_p0343a10師云:「若據神鼎看來則又不然語滲漏情滲漏見滲J37nB386_p0343a11此三人猶未透在然而不妨與天下人解J37nB386_p0343a12貼肉布衫炙脂帽子何故不見道J37nB386_p0343a13絲百尺鉤還曲利物多方語帶悲。」

示眾。「十方同聚會玄沙不出嶺保壽不渡河箇箇學J37nB386_p0343a15無為日圖三頓飽夜圖一覺眠此是選佛場塞北冰J37nB386_p0343a16霜地安南瘴癘天心空及第歸不貪香餌味始是碧J37nB386_p0343a17潭龍疏也疏也鈔也鈔也還契得老龐意麼若契J37nB386_p0343a18龐好與三十拄杖不契山僧自喫三十拄杖何故J37nB386_p0343a19妨疑著。」

示眾。「戒之一字諸佛分中用他不著眾生分中用他J37nB386_p0343c20不著何故眾生日用無非貪瞋癡妄戒從何用諸佛J37nB386_p0343c21心地無有貪瞋癡妄用戒作麼雖然若有戒可持J37nB386_p0343c22生即非眾生若無戒可持諸佛即非諸佛所以道J37nB386_p0343c23如渡海浮囊運載眾生不著此岸不著彼岸不住中J37nB386_p0343c24且道向何處去?」良久:「坐斷十方猶點額密移一J37nB386_p0343c25步見飛龍。」
