J37nB386_p0379b02 J37nB386_p0379b03開爐秉拂。「無賓主句且從容,炭滿爐頭火自紅,撥發J37nB386_p0379b04死灰騰烈燄,春風不動雪霜融。所以道:須知衲僧閫J37nB386_p0379b05奧之中有轉地回天之用。大眾!還知大覺門下有轉J37nB386_p0379b06地回天之用麼?向在江南地煖風和之處,而門庭壁J37nB386_p0379b07立,動雖霞蔚雲蒸,直下寒威凜凜;今於海北冰高雪J37nB386_p0379b08凍之時,而爐鞴弘開,拶著星飛火迸,滿前烈燄騰騰。J37nB386_p0379b09冷地裏有箇漢出來道:『僼上座!汝既為大覺入室之J37nB386_p0379b10子,必明大覺閫奧之用。既明閫奧之用,因甚今朝只J37nB386_p0379b11說得門庭邊事?』不妨被闍黎檢點得著。只是僼上座J37nB386_p0379b12要問你:甚麼處是大覺門限?」良久,云:「若也未知,更副J37nB386_p0379b13一頌與你傍瞥:天無四壁地無疆,逼塞虛空舌廣長,J37nB386_p0379b14水激偃溪聲落落,霜凌庭柏鬱蒼蒼。銀山迥處通霄J37nB386_p0379b15路,烈燄堆頭透體涼,打破牢關誰出入?空生大覺一J37nB386_p0379b16漚彰。」
J37nB386_p0379b17至節,秉拂。「群陰剝盡,一氣潛回,洞山掇退果桌,魯公J37nB386_p0379b18臺上書雲;慈明揭牓僧堂,漢女宮中測日。今夜僼上J37nB386_p0379b19座將世法、佛法打成一片了也,還有知時識節底麼?J37nB386_p0379b20不妨出來擊開關鍵,明辨古今。」問:「群陰剝盡,慈明揭J37nB386_p0379b21堂上之牓文;一陽復生,洞山掇座元之果桌。正當陽J37nB386_p0379b22陰未判,又作麼生施設?」師云:「岸容待臘將舒柳,山意J37nB386_p0379b23衝寒欲放梅。」進云:「凍雲彌四野,寒雨滴千峰。」師云:「嶽J37nB386_p0379b24頂峰高人不見,猿啼白日又黃昏。」進云:「滿爐添炭猶J37nB386_p0379b25嫌冷,路上行人只守寒。」師云:「省得一陽回此際,五九J37nB386_p0379b26盡日定逢春。」進云:「秖如慈明揭堂上之牓文是何旨J37nB386_p0379b27趣?」師云:「八角印文鐫石上,一行梵字寫空中。」進云:「洞J37nB386_p0379b28山掇座元之果桌復且如何?」師云:「泥牛吼處天關轉,J37nB386_p0379b29木馬嘶時地軸搖。」進云:「且道二大老與麼為人,孰勝?J37nB386_p0379b30孰負?」師云:「塞北千人帳,江南萬斛船。」進云:「可謂龍袖J37nB386_p0379c01拂開全體現,象王行處絕狐蹤。」師云:「蹋轉天關并地J37nB386_p0379c02軸,更須北斗面南看。」乃云:「纔過重陽,又逢冬至,時節J37nB386_p0379c03不相饒,炎涼倏改變,然於衲僧門下卻也有些相應。J37nB386_p0379c04不見道:欲知常住不遷義,須向萬木凋殘處會取;欲J37nB386_p0379c05知諸佛寂滅性,須向眾生心行中辨明。秖如眾生心J37nB386_p0379c06行中心心煩惱、念念無明,作麼生識得諸佛寂滅性?J37nB386_p0379c07秖如暑退寒生、陰消陽長,作麼生明得常住不遷義?J37nB386_p0379c08若向者裏辨得明白,說甚麼往復無間、動靜一源?」拈J37nB386_p0379c09拄杖,云:「便如僼上座手中拄杖子相似,峭巍巍、活卓J37nB386_p0379c10卓,運用手眼通身,不落見聞知覺,舉必全真,縱橫歷J37nB386_p0379c11落,轉天關、回地軸,驅風雷、迻海嶽,使鐵樹、發奇萼,擊J37nB386_p0379c12石筍、解新籜,疾如風、利如鍔,魔自潛、佛自伏,阿剌剌、J37nB386_p0379c13難捫摸,變化不隨天地春,朕兆未分生頭角。」卓一卓,J37nB386_p0379c14下座。
J37nB386_p0379c15秉拂。「諸佛不出世,四十九年說,刮地風來處處寒,遙J37nB386_p0379c16天雲淨家家月。祖師不西來,少林有玅訣,崖崩打破J37nB386_p0379c17石潭冰,車碾分開山路雪。報知音,瞥不瞥?秘密玅玄J37nB386_p0379c18不挂唇舌,半千衲子、一隊古佛,不須截鶴續鳧,那更J37nB386_p0379c19證龜成鱉?大地都盧解脫門,普請當人自休歇。不休J37nB386_p0379c20歇,最波挈,紅爐燄裏受風寒,大洋海底遭火熱。若休J37nB386_p0379c21歇,無別說,天光直與水相通,野色更無山隔絕。豈不J37nB386_p0379c22見?雪峰一日召玄沙云:『備頭陀何不遍參去?』玄沙云:J37nB386_p0379c23『達磨不來東土,二祖不往西天。』雪峰然之。諸兄弟!者J37nB386_p0379c24箇便是休歇底人,若不休歇,爭解與麼道?還知落處J37nB386_p0379c25麼?更聽一頌:得休歇處便休歇,一葉漁舠舊家業,萬J37nB386_p0379c26丈寒潭徹底清,更於何處求明月?收綸罷,歌一闋,綠J37nB386_p0379c27蓑不脫枕蘭橈,無限清風動寥泬。」
J37nB386_p0379c28秉拂。「折蘆面壁,面黑牙疏,立雪安心,臂捐骨換。身轉J37nB386_p0379c29嬰兒拋濁港,欲印心宗;影藏獵戶混青林,為傳衣缽。J37nB386_p0379c30至於德山入門便棒,費力疲神;臨濟入門便喝,嘔心J37nB386_p0380a01吐膽。雲門拶得腳跛,長慶坐得臀穿,架箭張弓,擎叉J37nB386_p0380a02打地。從上老古錐,無一箇不是冰稜上度過九曲,劍J37nB386_p0380a03刃上拾得全身。只如陳摶洞裏石人,高眠終日;彌勒J37nB386_p0380a04殿中金像,歡笑永年。且道據何道理?青州牛無鼻索,J37nB386_p0380a05范公泉有地頭。參!」
J37nB386_p0380a06除夕,秉拂。「舊歲今宵去,明年明日來,此際正在舊歲J37nB386_p0380a07欲去未去之時、新年欲來未來之候。若是世間貧窮J37nB386_p0380a08富貴、喜樂憂愁,固有戶戶不同、家家各別,且置之不J37nB386_p0380a09必論也。若在山林學道之人,莫不念此時光易去、歲J37nB386_p0380a10月難留,道業荒蕪、祖關未透,日逐事隨眼過,不覺老J37nB386_p0380a11上頭來,入息雖存、出息未保,況此臘月三十夜到來,J37nB386_p0380a12豈可又作尋常看過也耶?爭怪得他心戚戚、意茫茫,J37nB386_p0380a13如癡、如兀,似醉、似狂,若負千金之重債,猶藏珍寶之J37nB386_p0380a14忽忘,做模作樣、顧慮思量,或對隙塵而孤坐、或翹聖J37nB386_p0380a15像以低昂。呵呵!癡漢,癡漢!莫慌,莫慌!轉凡成聖有甚J37nB386_p0380a16麼難?只在你自己承當。今夜僼上座不免相席打令,J37nB386_p0380a17有箇方便法門,至簡、至易,最玅、最神,可以頓然玅悟、J37nB386_p0380a18可以大豁疑情、可以鎔今鑄古、可以吐故納新、可以J37nB386_p0380a19隨機應變,倏爾箭去久矣;可以就地飛騰,驀然鷂突J37nB386_p0380a20重雲;可以恢弘先作,一似獅子翻身,撩空一擲,大地J37nB386_p0380a21皆驚;可以開鑿後昆,宛若蟄龍出洞,奮迅來時,嶽倒J37nB386_p0380a22湫傾;可以除禪病之膏肓,不異春霜而見日;可以破J37nB386_p0380a23法魔之執固,忽如爆竹之自分。引得燈籠發笑、露柱J37nB386_p0380a24披襟,虛空起舞、萬象彈箏,只要諸兄弟們高著眼睛,J37nB386_p0380a25看得諦當、見得分明,不是宰牛分歲,渾非鐵餡相呈,J37nB386_p0380a26不可作道理解會、不可作佛法譚論、不可作神通三J37nB386_p0380a27昧、不可作戲弄。諸仁且道:畢竟作麼生?」下座,打一觔J37nB386_p0380a28斗便行。
J37nB386_p0380a29元宵,秉拂。「古者道:『我心似秋月,碧潭光皎潔,無物堪J37nB386_p0380a30比倫,教我如何說?』又有道:『我心似燈籠,點火內外紅,J37nB386_p0380b01有物堪比伊,明朝日出東。』者兩箇漢雖是一期施設,J37nB386_p0380b02未免傍人簡點。一箇貪觀天上月,忘卻室中燈;一箇J37nB386_p0380b03閉戶守孤燈,孤負天邊月。爭似而今元宵之夜、放燈J37nB386_p0380b04之節,室中有燈,天上有月,燈月交輝,光光相接,一燈J37nB386_p0380b05然出百千燈,一月影分千萬月,燈也處處看得見,月J37nB386_p0380b06也處處看得著,撞著兩箇醉張三,元是一雙李大伯。J37nB386_p0380b07然雖如是,若是將心比擬,則了無干涉。何故?聽我重J37nB386_p0380b08說偈言:我心不是物,休云燈與月,知君不能薦,我今J37nB386_p0380b09盡情說。薦後如何?剎那遊過百餘城,燈元是火,卻與J37nB386_p0380b10者裏不別。」
J37nB386_p0380b11解冬,秉拂。拈拂子,拂一拂,云:「東風披拂乾坤赫,雪老J37nB386_p0380b12冰枯融化日,遠山忽地展青眉,千溪飛舞泉爭出。衲J37nB386_p0380b13僧門戶盡敲開,拄杖頭邊好春色,華枝歷亂向人妍,J37nB386_p0380b14處處園林香霧溼。鳥和鐘聲送白雲,苔連薄翠上幽J37nB386_p0380b15石,煙消野市綠楊疏,風颺酒旂紅杏密。幅幅溪山錦J37nB386_p0380b16乍鋪,鶯梭軋軋昏朝織,滿耳聽來聲非聲,滿眼看去J37nB386_p0380b17色非色。樓子情忘半曲歌,靈雲疑破一枝赤,祖師莫J37nB386_p0380b18向口邊求,從緣入者永不失。瓢汲清江月半輪,衲捲J37nB386_p0380b19高雲千嶂碧,當時來本不曾來,今朝往亦何曾適?來J37nB386_p0380b20往當知足不搖,家舍途中兩不立,牯牛隨分納些些,J37nB386_p0380b21東倒西歪芳艸側。一一北斗面南看,觀音院裏有彌J37nB386_p0380b22勒,朝遊檀特暮閻浮,當人受用無窮極。秉拂上座沒J37nB386_p0380b23人情,大用現前無軌則,放行彩鳳舞丹霄,把住鐵蛇J37nB386_p0380b24鑽不入。誰是龍門一躍過?桃花浪裏騰霹靂,腳跟線J37nB386_p0380b25斷出常流,屋上青天如箬笠。獨有江南紅杜鵑,催歸J37nB386_p0380b26絮絮深更泣。然雖泣,莫悲戚,丈夫豈受他言惑?五湖J37nB386_p0380b27煙景有誰爭?自是不歸歸便得。」擲拂子,下座。
J37nB386_p0380b28揚州淨慧院首座寮秉拂。
J37nB386_p0380b29死心堂落成,秉拂。「傾湫倒嶽,杏絕機宜;雪老冰枯,春J37nB386_p0380b30光赫赤。所以,此事不可以有心求、不可以無心得、不J37nB386_p0380c01可以語言造、不可以寂默通,眼似流星者直下承當、J37nB386_p0380c02機如掣電者負之而趨,直得千聖羅籠不住、十方呼J37nB386_p0380c03喚不回,有恁麼漢方可到此烹佛煉祖之場,更入紅J37nB386_p0380c04爐大冶之內,朝打三千、暮打八百,一一與他拔卻釘、J37nB386_p0380c05抽卻楔、解卻粘、去卻縛,做箇脫灑漢子;其或未然,萬J37nB386_p0380c06古碧潭空界月,再三撈摝始應知。眾兄弟!邇來去聖J37nB386_p0380c07時遙、人心懈怠,到處弟兄不務真參實悟,一味掠虛J37nB386_p0380c08過日,故我堂上老人於斯建立此堂,一木欲支大廈J37nB386_p0380c09將傾之室、一柱勒回千江既潰之流,不用鉤章棘句、J37nB386_p0380c10石裂崖崩,玅用神機、雷轟電掣,只要諸兄弟們上不J37nB386_p0380c11慕諸聖、下不重己靈,四稜塌地死卻偷心,所以云:死J37nB386_p0380c12盡偷心,方堪學道。秖如者箇心如何死得?莫是教他J37nB386_p0380c13冷湫湫地、古廟香爐去麼?莫是教他一條白練、枯木J37nB386_p0380c14寒崖去麼?莫是教他內不放出、外不放入去麼?莫是J37nB386_p0380c15教他內心無喘、外息諸緣去麼?莫是教他一念萬年、J37nB386_p0380c16萬年一念去麼?至於休去、歇去、放下著、莫妄想,總無J37nB386_p0380c17交涉,只是諸兄弟二六時中折旋俯仰、穿衣喫飯、屙J37nB386_p0380c18屎放尿、眠裏夢裏、無夢無想之時,所有疑處,所有看J37nB386_p0380c19不透處,打不通處,用力不得處,絕無咬嚼處,渾無依J37nB386_p0380c20倚處,橫不得處,豎不得處,坐不得處,臥不得處,恁麼J37nB386_p0380c21不得,不恁麼不得,恁麼不恁麼,總不得處,好像箇狗J37nB386_p0380c22看熱油鐺相似,舐又舐不得,捨又捨不得處,正好如J37nB386_p0380c23是著力,如是參究,如是明了,如是打徹,忽然冰河發J37nB386_p0380c24燄,豆爆冷灰,金剛圈至小而難跳,一跳跳過,栗棘蓬J37nB386_p0380c25有刺而難吞,一吞吞下,方信道天下死不得底活人,J37nB386_p0380c26以活法而死之,天下活不得底死漢,以死法而活之,J37nB386_p0380c27不我欺也。然雖如是,也是好肉剜瘡,無事生事。殊不J37nB386_p0380c28知跨鶴城邊有一句子,瓊華臺畔有一真機,千聖提J37nB386_p0380c29不起,萬靈盡知有,文峰塔點開碧落雲霞,廣陵濤吸J37nB386_p0380c30盡江天風月,煙華幕幕,泗洲大聖分明出現,角韻悠J37nB386_p0381a01悠,太原上座驀地知歸,不撥一塵,紫陌芳衢皆玅體,J37nB386_p0381a02不立一境,婬房酒肆悉精藍,那在架箭張弓,搖鈴振J37nB386_p0381a03鐸,大中現小,小中現大,于一毫端上建寶王剎,坐微J37nB386_p0381a04塵裏轉大法輪,何異虛空穵窟,寵靴裏動指頭哉?是J37nB386_p0381a05則是……」拈拄杖云:「秖如僼上座拄杖子不肯恁麼道,又J37nB386_p0381a06作麼生?」卓一卓云:「天上有星皆拱北,人間無水不朝J37nB386_p0381a07東。」
J37nB386_p0381a08冬至,秉拂。「剝盡群陰陽復來,衲僧活計一時該,簷頭J37nB386_p0381a09石筍和煙長,碓嘴瓊華帶雪開。果桌掇時天地轉,雲J37nB386_p0381a10堂牓出鬼神哀,誰知更有新消息?露柱生兒頗俊哉。」J37nB386_p0381a11復云:「㘞!是男?是女?諸兄弟!若論此事,正如婦人懷胎J37nB386_p0381a12一般,直須㘞地一聲,然後方知是男?是女?面目好醜,J37nB386_p0381a13眉在眼上,口在鼻下,耳朵兩片皮,牙齒一具骨,方是J37nB386_p0381a14了當時也。只為你不了當,到處參尋尊宿,如何佛麻J37nB386_p0381a15三斤?如何佛乾屎橛?體究不去,便如婦人交媾之後J37nB386_p0381a16懷箇胞胎,肚裏上不得上、下不得下,飲食無味,腰疼J37nB386_p0381a17腳軟,坐眠行動俱不得自在,計較安排,別作別為,俱J37nB386_p0381a18用不著,直待十月滿足之候,㘞地一聲,生下來也見J37nB386_p0381a19頭見面,好箇孩兒,慶快殺人。而今弟兄體究不去,胸J37nB386_p0381a20中有箇獦狚疑團,耿耿地消不去、打不破,切忌妄生J37nB386_p0381a21穿鑿,巧覓知解,東卜西度,總無交涉。緩緩地工夫純J37nB386_p0381a22熟,時節到來,磕著撞著,那時㘞地一聲,十方洞照,千J37nB386_p0381a23眼頓開,方知本地風光不在別處,本來面目固無兩J37nB386_p0381a24般。參禪若不恁麼一回,終是隔靴搔癢,有甚痛快處?J37nB386_p0381a25諸兄弟!還曾恁麼一回也未?若也未曾,不待久立歸J37nB386_p0381a26堂,看取露柱去。」
J37nB386_p0381a27秉拂。「諸兄弟!僼上座欲說又恐走作諸兄弟、不說又J37nB386_p0381a28恐孤負諸兄弟、不說而說又恐諸兄弟離波覓水、說J37nB386_p0381a29而不說又恐諸兄弟棄海尋潮,到者裏作麼生相為?J37nB386_p0381a30諸兄弟好,且道:僼上座恁麼語話還有相為處也無?J37nB386_p0381b01若道有相為,說又不得、不說又不得、不說而說、說而J37nB386_p0381b02不說總不得;若道無相為,恁麼鼓唇搖舌、齒牙敲磕J37nB386_p0381b03又爭得無去?諸兄弟!還會麼?」良久,復云:「如今顧不得J37nB386_p0381b04也、惜不得眉毛也,索性與你葛藤一上。不見昔日有J37nB386_p0381b05僧問馬祖:『離四句、絕百非,請師直指西來意。』祖云:『我J37nB386_p0381b06今日勞倦,不能為汝說,問取智藏去。』」師便一喝。「其僧J37nB386_p0381b07便問智藏,藏云:『我今日頭痛,不能為汝說,問取海兄J37nB386_p0381b08去。』」師又一喝。「其僧便問海,海云:『我到者裏卻不會。』」師J37nB386_p0381b09又一喝。「僧乃舉似馬祖,祖云:『藏頭白、海頭黑。』」師又一J37nB386_p0381b10喝。「諸兄弟!你看馬師三父子恁麼說話,且道:意在于J37nB386_p0381b11何?還是為者僧、不為者僧?還是與者僧說、不與者僧J37nB386_p0381b12說?還是機用綿密?還是別有道理?眾中盡謂者僧不J37nB386_p0381b13唧溜,錯過馬師父子,殊不知馬師父子被者僧一拶,J37nB386_p0381b14納盡敗闕。所以,僼上座今日下者四喝,不是為者僧J37nB386_p0381b15出氣,要且救得馬師父子。當時者僧若下得第一喝,J37nB386_p0381b16不惟馬師退身有分,免得葛藤遍野;當時者僧若下J37nB386_p0381b17得第二喝,不惟截斷葛藤,免得智藏東扯西拽;當時J37nB386_p0381b18者僧若下得第三喝,不惟海祖無處轉身,直教再參J37nB386_p0381b19三十年;當時者僧若下得第四喝,豈止馬師不敢口J37nB386_p0381b20轆轆地說白道黑,免得後代兒孫遞相鈍置。諸兄弟!J37nB386_p0381b21僼上座恁麼出脫,古人還知者四喝落處麼?若知得J37nB386_p0381b22者四喝落處,說甚麼臨濟大師一喝如金剛王寶劍、J37nB386_p0381b23一喝如踞地獅子、一喝如探竿影艸、一喝不作一喝J37nB386_p0381b24用,是甚熱碗鳴聲?設或未然,莫道僼上座無相為好。」J37nB386_p0381b25復喝一喝,下座。
J37nB386_p0381b26佛成道日,秉拂。「大道絕遮欄,其誰趣向?虛空無背面,J37nB386_p0381b27何處雕鐫?昔日釋迦老子于正覺山中夜睹明星,豁J37nB386_p0381b28然大悟,便云:『奇哉!一切眾生具有如來智慧德相,但J37nB386_p0381b29以妄想執著而不證得。』者箇老古錐、徐六擔板只見J37nB386_p0381b30一邊,殊不知,一切諸佛皆以妄想執著而有如來智J37nB386_p0381c01慧德相可證。若有如來智慧德相可證,則是眾生妄J37nB386_p0381c02想執著;若除眾生妄想執著,則無如來智慧德相可J37nB386_p0381c03證;既無如來智慧德相可證,則內無所證;既無眾生J37nB386_p0381c04妄想執著可除,則外無所修;外無所修,則無眾生可J37nB386_p0381c05度;內無所證,則無諸佛可成;既無諸佛可成,亦無眾J37nB386_p0381c06生可度,則一道平等,浩然大均。現前若僧、若俗,若男、J37nB386_p0381c07若女,若艸木、若叢林,若山河大地、若日月星辰,無不J37nB386_p0381c08同一眼見、同一耳聞、同一心知、同一受用,長者長法J37nB386_p0381c09身、短者短法身,開眼也著、合眼也著,不必續鳧截鶴、J37nB386_p0381c10夷嶽盈壑,自然在阬滿阬、在谷滿谷。豈不見古有僧J37nB386_p0381c11問一老宿:『今時人還假悟也無?』老宿云:『悟即不無,爭J37nB386_p0381c12奈落在第二頭。』敢問眾兄弟:畢竟如何是第一頭?」良J37nB386_p0381c13久,云:「彼自無瘡休用割,不如靜處薩婆訶。更有一頌:J37nB386_p0381c14奇哉午夜見明星,鼻孔依然搭上唇,正覺山前華滿J37nB386_p0381c15澗,幾回錯過劫前春。」
J37nB386_p0381c16秉拂。「隔墻見角,便知是牛;隔山見煙,便知是火。秖如J37nB386_p0381c17適才和尚將出一本書來,因甚十箇有五雙不知落J37nB386_p0381c18處?且道利害在什麼處?蓋為你一向情存聖量,知見J37nB386_p0381c19未忘,逐句尋言,巧覓解會,所以見人開口動舌,便將J37nB386_p0381c20禪道佛法會卻。孟八郎漢!明明向汝道尚不會,何況J37nB386_p0381c21蓋覆將來?明明道:『我有一部書,兩邊俱釘卻,不展文J37nB386_p0381c22彩彰,請君試斟酌。』而今還有道得者麼?」眾下語皆不J37nB386_p0381c23契,師乃云:「我有一部書,兩邊俱釘卻,堪襯打圖章,餘J37nB386_p0381c24皆用不著。」
J37nB386_p0381c25秉拂。問:「百川異流,同歸於海,因甚大海無魚?」師云:「水J37nB386_p0381c26無異味。」進云:「荒田不撿艸,信手拈來寶,因甚大地無J37nB386_p0381c27土?」師云:「金不博鋀。」進云:「腰纏十萬貫,騎鶴上揚州,因J37nB386_p0381c28甚大富無糧?」師云:「賺殺幾多人?」進云:「大徹底人,皎日J37nB386_p0381c29當空,因甚大悟無道?」師云:「非公境界。」乃云:「雪拉霜摧J37nB386_p0381c30萬木枯,窮冬境界甚空疏,誰知大有生機處,月色橫J37nB386_p0382a01窗梅影孤。還見麼?會也無?茫茫宇宙人無數,幾箇男J37nB386_p0382a02兒是丈夫?眾兄弟!既是男兒,因甚卻不丈夫?莫是蹋J37nB386_p0382a03步向前求覓解會不丈夫麼?莫是受人處分隨人起J37nB386_p0382a04倒不丈夫麼?莫是眨上眉毛早已錯過不丈夫麼?莫J37nB386_p0382a05是語言上咬嚼、機境上承當不丈夫麼?莫是無決烈J37nB386_p0382a06志、少特達懷,不向百尺竿頭進步、萬仞崖前撒手不J37nB386_p0382a07丈夫麼?莫是退水藏鱗、避刀畏劍,不解單刀直入、奪J37nB386_p0382a08角衝關不丈夫麼?呵呵!以上論量,如斯等輩總是丈J37nB386_p0382a09夫,秉拂上座卻不丈夫。何故?若是丈夫,爭肯與麼忉J37nB386_p0382a10怛?」
J37nB386_p0382a11除夕,秉拂。「北禪分歲宰牛,家貧難辦素食;東村燒錢J37nB386_p0382a12王老,事忙不及草書。寶積者裏,聚千聖于同堂、會十J37nB386_p0382a13方於一室、鎔今古于一時、超佛祖於一刻,雖則豐儉J37nB386_p0382a14隨家,不可將無作有,然要應箇時節,豈惜破費家財?J37nB386_p0382a15僼上座只得拆東籬、補西壁、移官路、當人情,有箇四J37nB386_p0382a16五百年前楊岐老祖傳留下來人人有分底,一籃栗J37nB386_p0382a17棘蓬、數箇金剛圈,今夜一齊撒向諸兄弟面前,一任J37nB386_p0382a18吞底自吞、跳底自跳、惱底自惱、笑底自笑,各各自作J37nB386_p0382a19活計,不屬安排;一一自逞神通,豈由造作?渾崙無罅J37nB386_p0382a20處,好別機宜;拈提不及時,倍加精彩。直得天回地轉,J37nB386_p0382a21木雞啼處無聲;海晏河清,芻狗吠時絕聽。不特萬靈J37nB386_p0382a22智竭,亦乃千聖情枯,說甚麼年也除、月也除,心也除、J37nB386_p0382a23境也除,貪瞋嫉妒一時除?到者裏,凡也盡、聖也盡,佛J37nB386_p0382a24也盡、魔也盡,真如解脫一時盡,三際瞥然頓斷、十界J37nB386_p0382a25驀地全消,淨裸裸兮無遺、赤灑灑兮全露。諸人被十J37nB386_p0382a26二時辰轉,也不妨順運陰陽;老僧轉得十二時,也管J37nB386_p0382a27取逆推甲子。翻年頭、作歲尾,當日午、打三更,促三祇J37nB386_p0382a28為一念而不短、延一念為三祗而不長。正恁麼時,莫J37nB386_p0382a29說鐵面大王那裏算他飯錢,縱饒黃頭老子何處摸J37nB386_p0382a30他巴鼻?固然五眼莫睹、二聽絕聞。」拈拄杖,云:「只是莫J37nB386_p0382b01被拄杖子覷著,管教直頭不點。何故?假使神通玅用J37nB386_p0382b02百匝千重,爭如息見忘機、家堂穩坐?還會麼?還鄉盡J37nB386_p0382b03是兒孫事,祖父從來不出門。」
J37nB386_p0382b04歲朝秉拂。喝一喝,云:「千句萬句,不出一句;千日萬日,J37nB386_p0382b05不出一日。識得一,萬事畢;透得一,無阻隔。今日乃三J37nB386_p0382b06百六十日打頭一目,不可錯過。此句是一千七百,則J37nB386_p0382b07最初一句,那許顢頇?所以道:天得一以清,地得一以J37nB386_p0382b08寧,君王得一以天下治,衲僧得一以勦絕佛祖命根。J37nB386_p0382b09秖如新年頭有佛法,也是老僧失利;新年頭無佛法,J37nB386_p0382b10也是老僧失利。且道:是一句?非一句?是一機?非一機?J37nB386_p0382b11若向者裏識得透、明得徹,一任張公喫酒李公醉,端J37nB386_p0382b12的年年是好年;南洲踏到北洲頭,還他日日是好日。J37nB386_p0382b13山門頭合掌,佛殿裏燒香,有主有賓,有禮有樂;鐘樓J37nB386_p0382b14上念讚,床腳下種菜,無忌無諱,無黨無偏。融萬象於J37nB386_p0382b15目前,處處玄機透脫;會千差於物表,頭頭至理高明。J37nB386_p0382b16恭惟方丈起居,問訊雲堂萬福,一一應時納祐,人人J37nB386_p0382b17慶無不宜。肅肅雍雍,皇皇穆穆,華鋪錦障,寶砌瑤臺,J37nB386_p0382b18五雲散綵干天衢,千日舒光于玉宇。方信道:元旦啟J37nB386_p0382b19祚,萬物咸亨。然雖如是,初終不立。貫古通今一句又J37nB386_p0382b20作麼生?沙村白雪仍含凍,江郭紅梅已放春。」
普說
J37nB386_p0382b22開爐普說。「多說不如少說,少說不如不說。雖然,鐘不J37nB386_p0382b23撞不鳴,鼓不打不響,當爐不避猛火,當言不避截舌。J37nB386_p0382b24近年來參學弟兄,者裏經冬,那裏過夏,出一叢林,入J37nB386_p0382b25一保社,如作等閒,艸鞋錢則置,漿水錢什麼人還?不J37nB386_p0382b26見汾陽大師道:『從上來行腳,不為遊山玩水,看州府J37nB386_p0382b27奢華,片衣口食,皆為聖心未通。所以驅馳行腳,聞一J37nB386_p0382b28箇因緣不明,中間直下飲食無味,睡臥未安,火急決J37nB386_p0382b29擇,莫將為小事。』者箇說話,曾為浪子偏憐客,是他行J37nB386_p0382b30到者裏,說到者裏,豈是而今空開大口?你看他參過J37nB386_p0382c01七十一員善知識,末後到首山會下,問:『百丈捲席,意J37nB386_p0382c02旨如何?』而今禪和家,纔挾箇袱子出來,社火中便謂:J37nB386_p0382c03者箇因緣,是單頭公案,有甚淆訛?所要透底,是要緊J37nB386_p0382c04大禪頭,如女子出定,百丈野狐,德山托缽,殃崛產難,J37nB386_p0382c05莊上喫油餈,牛過窗櫺話。者一落索,謂之末後牢關,J37nB386_p0382c06用出心機意識,卜度得去,說得相似,以為參學事畢,J37nB386_p0382c07安肯虛心與麼請問?殊不知未曾直下到啐地折、嚗J37nB386_p0382c08地斷,便是即心是佛,也有些子淆訛。若但與麼卜度J37nB386_p0382c09得底,正是依他作解,障自悟門,古人決不如是。前所J37nB386_p0382c10云:『只為道眼未開,聖心未通,不肯強作主宰,但有纖J37nB386_p0382c11毫疑滯,到處火急決擇。』如今法座上老師,見他問與J37nB386_p0382c12麼因緣,定是不將在意,不是喝,便是棒,趁俊快,擊石J37nB386_p0382c13火,閃電光,蓋覆將去,有甚巴鼻?你看他首山和尚,真J37nB386_p0382c14是臨濟正傳,卻不用者些惡臭氣,但緩緩地向他道:J37nB386_p0382c15『龍袖拂開全體現。』直下十日並照,何等光明?到者裏J37nB386_p0382c16真是師資合處,啐啄同時,觸著者些關捩。汾陽又狼J37nB386_p0382c17忙問道:『師意如何?』首山更向金不博金處道一句云:J37nB386_p0382c18『象王行處絕狐蹤。』此時汾陽忽地桶底脫落,如啞子J37nB386_p0382c19得夢,說似人不得,只說道:『萬古碧潭空界月,再三撈J37nB386_p0382c20摝始應知。』者般痛快處,豈似你一句來一句去,用些J37nB386_p0382c21閒文野彩計較卜度得來底?此所謂臨濟道出常情,J37nB386_p0382c22便是者箇道理。你若者裏不穩當,直饒你說得磨稜J37nB386_p0382c23合縫、盛水不漏,總是閻羅王手中換鐵棒喫底張本J37nB386_p0382c24果。若是箇上根利智,不假他力,古人教你坐地搆去、J37nB386_p0382c25立地搆去,不待呵氣便搆去。因甚不搆去?若與麼搆J37nB386_p0382c26得去,豈不省卻人多少心力?安用許多忉怛?設若沒J37nB386_p0382c27者樣俊快底根性,索性剷地,不會底人倒好受人整J37nB386_p0382c28頓,還打發得撇脫。不見當初俱胝道者結茅住菴,他J37nB386_p0382c29那裏知得什麼麻三斤、乾矢橛、狗子無佛性、庭前柏J37nB386_p0382c30樹子?只是胸次中無一箇元字腳,忽地撞著箇惡冤J37nB386_p0383a01家,一拶直得四稜塌地。你道如何是惡冤家?看他從J37nB386_p0383a02上風彩,豈不慚惶無地?而今禪客相逢,到處人情世J37nB386_p0383a03諦,者箇冤家卻是箇五漏身軀。臨晚到俱胝菴中,俱J37nB386_p0383a04胝見他不下笠子,便道:『何不卸下笠子?』如今名色禪J37nB386_p0383a05和便打箇問訊,卸下笠子只圖穩便,喚作禪和得麼?J37nB386_p0383a06你看者箇尼僧雖是五漏之軀,卻是銕橛相似,便與J37nB386_p0383a07俱胝當頭一拶道:『道得卸下笠子。』倒把箇男子漢看J37nB386_p0383a08一看,看有氣息無氣息?俱胝本不知東斗,卻是實頭J37nB386_p0383a09人難得。又道:『天色漸晚,何不且住?』又被他第二杓惡J37nB386_p0383a10水一潑道:『道得即住。』俱胝口似扁擔,尼僧竟自去了。J37nB386_p0383a11俱胝不覺觸發狂心,欲燒菴行腳,忽逢天龍豎起一J37nB386_p0383a12指,當下狂心便歇。所以道:『狂心若歇,歇即菩提。』便是J37nB386_p0383a13者箇道理。此不是剷地不會底,倒好整理,所以最忌J37nB386_p0383a14雜毒入心。然古人凡到所在,見箇村院主也須問過。J37nB386_p0383a15又道:『若遇艸裏有箇漢,便與當頭一拶。看他知氣息,J37nB386_p0383a16布袋盛米供養他。』是以佛法興盛,良有以也。如今佛J37nB386_p0383a17法下衰,到處不肯博問先知,一味顢頇過日,見說道:J37nB386_p0383a18『諸佛法印,匪從人得。』不打在無事甲裏,便是橫生己J37nB386_p0383a19見、強作主宰、胡說亂道,總是今日老鬍絕望。你看二J37nB386_p0383a20祖大師為法忘軀,他三乘五教豈不會得?只是者些J37nB386_p0383a21疑情未破,不到情枯意竭、知見頓忘、能所併絕,萬機J37nB386_p0383a22寢、萬緣削,爭肯立雪齊腰、捐身斷臂?道:『我心未安,乞J37nB386_p0383a23師安心。』他又豈不聞:『諸佛法印,匪從人得。』因甚麼如J37nB386_p0383a24此火急?所以黃檗和尚道:『大事本來如是。若不究到J37nB386_p0383a25無心處,自見自肯,即埋沒人也。』你看者老臊鬍尋常J37nB386_p0383a26說箇直指到者裏,果然手段各別,便就向伊身上割J37nB386_p0383a27一塊子與伊道:『將心來,與汝安。』此時斷臂老子實究J37nB386_p0383a28到無心處,口供是實,便道:『內外覓心了不可得。』豈不J37nB386_p0383a29是自見自肯?那老臊鬍便將無文印子一印印定道:J37nB386_p0383a30『與汝安心竟。』直得無絲毫透漏,豈不是皆因激發中J37nB386_p0383b01來?你索性要做箇沒意智漢,三十年、二十年口堆白J37nB386_p0383b02醭,也沒人喚作你是箇啞漢,卻又做不來、卻又不甘J37nB386_p0383b03心。既不甘心又做不來,便心裏想道:『我在叢林裏三J37nB386_p0383b04二十年,不是箇老參麼?某老知識親近過、某職事又J37nB386_p0383b05做過,而今頭白齒黃,將何立在人前做模做樣?』火急J37nB386_p0383b06向冊子上卜度得一句半句,又不知語言之次序、說J37nB386_p0383b07話之反正,一般也要向人前放出者般屎臭氣熏人,J37nB386_p0383b08反不如三家村裏無事漢卻無者些顛倒。你看古人J37nB386_p0383b09決不恁麼。古來有箇香嚴道者,他在百丈會裏一問J37nB386_p0383b10十答如瓶溈水,豈似你者般艸包飯袋、寒酸不上眼J37nB386_p0383b11底垃圾?一日,沒興撞到溈山水牯牛隊裏去,溈山是J37nB386_p0383b12箇老賊頭,便喚一聲:『師弟!你在百丈會下一問十答J37nB386_p0383b13是否?』者孟八郎便道:『不敢。』著賊了也。溈山道:『此是汝J37nB386_p0383b14聰明靈利、意解識想、生死根本。父母未生,試道一句J37nB386_p0383b15看。』千鈞之弩,果然不為鼷鼠而發機。香嚴被問,直得J37nB386_p0383b16茫然歸寮,將平日看過底文字從頭要尋一句酬對,J37nB386_p0383b17竟不可得,乃自歎云:『畫餅不可克饑。』一款招成。香嚴J37nB386_p0383b18被此一拶,若不是死盡無始劫來底偷心,爭肯恁麼J37nB386_p0383b19道?所以道:死盡偷心,方堪學道。香嚴到者箇時節,始J37nB386_p0383b20有參學趣向分了,畢竟真不掩偽、曲不藏直。古人是J37nB386_p0383b21箇學道底人,如今底人莫說一問能十答,纔到百丈J37nB386_p0383b22會下住過幾日,或當過職事走到溈山來,便要搖搖J37nB386_p0383b23擺擺,向方丈裏認同參攀弟兄,做出許多空腹高心、J37nB386_p0383b24不知慚愧底樣子出來。設若與伊當頭一拶,不是喝J37nB386_p0383b25一喝、豎一指、裝體面架將去,便道:『我來不是親近你J37nB386_p0383b26佛法。』孰肯知非?如香嚴老子恁麼道畫餅不可克饑,J37nB386_p0383b27者箇真是古今師法好樣子。世衰道降,一日不如一J37nB386_p0383b28日,看到古人好不慚惶殺人也。當時香嚴屢乞溈山J37nB386_p0383b29說破,溈山道:『我若說似汝,已後罵我在。我說底、是我J37nB386_p0383b30底,總不干汝事。』真是箇一千五百人善知識,畢竟不J37nB386_p0383c01同。如今據曲彔木床底更是不堪,若見他肯與麼低J37nB386_p0383c02頭,便將不中心行出來,甜唇美舌,多方籠籠絡絡,如J37nB386_p0383c03何使得?他有真正眼開底時節,者般宗師拽下床來,J37nB386_p0383c04椎殺他千箇萬箇,有什麼罪過?所以天童門下一任J37nB386_p0383c05路絕人荒,終不作者般不材不淨底事。黃金自有黃J37nB386_p0383c06金價,何事和沙賣與人?香嚴知是從前錯路,遂將平J37nB386_p0383c07昔所有底文字燒卻,道:『此生不學佛法了也,且作箇J37nB386_p0383c08長行粥飯僧,免役心神。』豈不是以有所得心學無所J37nB386_p0383c09得法,如何學得來?然則香嚴此時卻也平帖帖地了,J37nB386_p0383c10乃泣辭溈山,溈山更不留,可謂白玉琢成西子骨,黃J37nB386_p0383c11金鑄就伍員心,不妨千古師資、風雲際會盡在此處。J37nB386_p0383c12當時者兩箇老古錐,若非等是純鋼打就底脊項,莫J37nB386_p0383c13道香嚴後來聞擊竹聲悟道,便是聞無限微玅梵音J37nB386_p0383c14聲、迦陵頻伽聲,也則是箇隨聲逐色底人,安有『一擊J37nB386_p0383c15忘所知,更不假修持』之慶快平生也?此六祖所謂『若J37nB386_p0383c16能一念自知非,自己靈光嘗顯現』,便是者箇道理。所J37nB386_p0383c17以古人寧使一生不悟,不肯半青半黃,依俙相似,得J37nB386_p0383c18少為足。然古來亦有一箇樣子,喚作南扁頭。者箇扁J37nB386_p0383c19頭道人,胸羅三藏、學貫五車,其實有些子風彩,只是J37nB386_p0383c20打頭不遇得箇咬豬狗底手腳,幾乎一生錯過。虧殺J37nB386_p0383c21他結得箇好道友,喚作雲峰悅。一日,同遊西山,知其J37nB386_p0383c22不實,悅歎云:『南有道之器也,惜其未遇本分鉗鎚耳。』J37nB386_p0383c23也是為他閒事長無明。然如今人結道友,人情意況J37nB386_p0383c24或有之,求其如此相為者,直是萬中無一。夜臥,話及J37nB386_p0383c25雲門法道,悅云:『澄公雖是雲門之後,法道異矣。』鉤頭J37nB386_p0383c26著餌。南詰其所以異,一釣便上,悅云:『再加線索。』雲門J37nB386_p0383c27如九轉丹砂點銕成金,澄公藥汞銀徒可玩,入煆則J37nB386_p0383c28流去,若藥不瞑眩,其疾不瘳。南怒,以枕投之,猶更𨁝J37nB386_p0383c29跳。悅明日謝過,不是好心。又云:『一不做,二不休。』雲門J37nB386_p0383c30氣宇如王,甘死語下乎?澄公有法授人,死語也,死語J37nB386_p0384a01其能活人乎?雖是死蛇,解弄也活。即背去,有甚交涉?J37nB386_p0384a02如今底道友家說話不投,便發惡背去;分利不均,便J37nB386_p0384a03發惡背去;爭人爭我,便發惡背去。求其如此佛法激J37nB386_p0384a04勵背去者,更是萬中無一。更有一般底在社火中鉤J37nB386_p0384a05群結隊,互相欺誑,或於老師前說一句好話,便喚作J37nB386_p0384a06徹骨相為,此正是便辟之友。求其直諒如雲峰之為J37nB386_p0384a07道友者,其可得哉?那時南扁頭被他打著,心中事便J37nB386_p0384a08把不住,挽之云:『若如是,則誰可汝意?』果然藥汞銀悅。J37nB386_p0384a09使見石霜,為人須為徹。南心裏想道:『悅師翠嚴,使我J37nB386_p0384a10見石霜,於他何干?』此老者一疑,正是命根不斷處。即J37nB386_p0384a11造石霜。中途聞慈明少叢林,不願見,遂登衡嶽。時來J37nB386_p0384a12風送滕王閣,乃謁福嚴賢。賢卒,郡守以慈明補之。冤J37nB386_p0384a13有頭,債有主。既至,目其貶剝諸方,件件數為邪解。南J37nB386_p0384a14為之氣索,運退雷轟索靖碑。遂造其室,天網恢恢。明J37nB386_p0384a15云:『書記領徒遊方,借使有疑,可坐而商略。』看者老漢J37nB386_p0384a16面如夾竹桃華,心裏參天荊棘,者箇甜唇美舌卻用J37nB386_p0384a17得好。『那扁頭道人畢竟是箇學道底人。』到者裏不敢J37nB386_p0384a18欺心。哀懇愈切。明云:『公學雲門禪,必善其旨。如云:「放J37nB386_p0384a19洞山三頓棒。」是有喫棒分?無喫棒分?』如此發藥下刃,J37nB386_p0384a20豈是你如今捏死蛇底老凍儂?不審機扣相當不相J37nB386_p0384a21當,一味硬將死法,則魔魅人家男女。他見道穩實底J37nB386_p0384a22人,自然有一段生機別路,活潑潑地煆煉人,使得他J37nB386_p0384a23無地藏竄,手腳畢露。道:『有喫棒分。』果然入煆不得。那J37nB386_p0384a24時慈明捋下面皮來也,不是前番底甜唇美舌了,面J37nB386_p0384a25上便露幾分惡顏色出來道:『若然,從朝至暮,鵲噪鴉J37nB386_p0384a26鳴,皆應喫棒。』端著坐,受其炷香作禮。所以道:殺人刀,J37nB386_p0384a27活人劍,上古之規模,今時之樞要。明又問道:『越州云:J37nB386_p0384a28「臺山婆子,我為汝勘破了也。」且道那裏是他勘破處?』J37nB386_p0384a29驢事未了,馬事又到。扁頭直得通身汗下,口似磉盤。J37nB386_p0384a30殊不知勘破婆子處,便是放洞山棒處。者裏不省得,J37nB386_p0384b01那裏如何知得?次日相見,慈明詬罵不已,南云:『罵豈J37nB386_p0384b02慈悲法施耶?』明云:『你作罵會那?』咄!作什麼會?『直饒不J37nB386_p0384b03作罵會,還夢見麼?』南於言下大悟。早知燈是火,飯熟J37nB386_p0384b04幾多時?遂作箇頌云:『傑出叢林老趙州』,不勞贊歎。『老J37nB386_p0384b05婆勘破沒來出』,總使有來由,有甚干涉?『而今四海清J37nB386_p0384b06如鏡』,平地上死人無數。『行人莫與路為仇』,依舊參天J37nB386_p0384b07荊棘。你看他恁麼吐露,豈不是胸襟流出,蓋天蓋地?J37nB386_p0384b08如今人尋常開大口說,驅耕夫之牛,奪饑人之食,及J37nB386_p0384b09至臨機,全無巴鼻。你還知雲門放洞山三頓棒底因J37nB386_p0384b10緣麼?更是峭絕。所以慈明舉來勘驗黃龍,直得骨出,J37nB386_p0384b11賊鎗賊弄,自然條直。今日不惜口業,索性引來一串J37nB386_p0384b12穿卻。者箇洞山,是襄州洞山問佛答麻三斤底,不是J37nB386_p0384b13新豐洞山。一日參雲門,門問:『那裏來?』答云:『查渡來。』門J37nB386_p0384b14云:『夏在何處?』答云:『湖南報慈。』門又問:『幾時離彼?』答云:J37nB386_p0384b15『八月十五。』門云:『放汝三頓棒。』洞山大疑。你看大賞之J37nB386_p0384b16下必有勇夫,金剛寶劍劈面一揮,者箇手腳豈似你J37nB386_p0384b17教人念死話頭、起疑情、裝模作樣底瞎宗師,如何啟J37nB386_p0384b18發得人底真疑現前?者箇學人是生銕鑄就、有決定J37nB386_p0384b19志底人,不是如今賣腳版、東走西走底人。聽見恁麼J37nB386_p0384b20道,使一夜睡不去,心裏想道:『如此抵對,有甚錯誤?放J37nB386_p0384b21我三頓棒,畢竟別有道理,與他理會去。』者箇豈不是J37nB386_p0384b22真疑現前?天明便問:『昨晚蒙和尚放某甲三頓棒,過J37nB386_p0384b23在什麼處?』果然不虛發藥。雲門道:『飯袋子!江西、湖南J37nB386_p0384b24便恁麼去也。』你尋常說許多活潑潑、轉轆轆、解粘去J37nB386_p0384b25縛處,還有者般手腳麼?此時洞山直下瓦解冰消。如J37nB386_p0384b26今人要參禪,不具者般根性,如何參得禪來?所以道:J37nB386_p0384b27參禪須是銕漢,著手心頭便判。便是者箇道理。如上J37nB386_p0384b28所舉、如上所判,不是天童貶剝諸方、訶罵兄弟,只因J37nB386_p0384b29明日開爐,見你一班輩後生英俊,發好心來天童參J37nB386_p0384b30禪,所以直舉古人實證實悟、自見自肯處拈掇,貴圖J37nB386_p0384c01正眼流通、宗風不替,不惜忉怛以至於此。然切不得J37nB386_p0384c02記持一字,又不可隨著山僧舌頭轉,唯是把從前所J37nB386_p0384c03學所得底,枝枝葉葉盡情向此無底爐中、不煙火內J37nB386_p0384c04一併燒卻,與我斬新條,令別立生涯,忽地冷灰裏豆J37nB386_p0384c05爆一聲,也不虛到者裏受勞受頓。久立,珍重。」
