J37nB392_p0581b04闔山請上堂。拈香。「此一瓣香,造化三才,總持萬象,祝J37nB392_p0581b05一人之睿算,兆億姓之謳歌。此一瓣香,道秉賢良,德J37nB392_p0581b06存忠孝,奉為皇家柱石,永成佛國金湯。此一瓣香,非J37nB392_p0581b07正非偏,一度焚來毒似鳩;離名離相,五番爇出烈如J37nB392_p0581b08砒。供養越州雲門顯聖堂上洞宗正傳第二十九世J37nB392_p0581b09百愚斯老和尚,不惟出處分明,且貴本源有自。」斂衣J37nB392_p0581b10就座。白椎竟,師云:「金雞宿水,啼聲聲而石屋嵐橋;石J37nB392_p0581b11蚌含珠,光燦燦而考峰峙錫。人天承蔭覆,遠遺宋世J37nB392_p0581b12槐陰;凡聖得交參,近現吳中石像。於此廣大門風威J37nB392_p0581b13德自在,時時為諸公發向上機、轉第一義,更欲山僧J37nB392_p0581b14搖脣鼓舌堪作甚麼?祇緣一向遠遊,到處提攜,今日J37nB392_p0581b15歸來了無一字,敢借拂子威光別顯神通去也。」揮拂,J37nB392_p0581b16云:「一別寶嚴三十年,孤笻萬里任翛然,祇知去日眉J37nB392_p0581b17橫眼,依舊回時耳墜肩。雲散東林猶吐月,石環西澗J37nB392_p0581b18尚鳴泉,風光似昔誰相委?祖意從來不變遷。」喝一喝。J37nB392_p0581b19復舉:「投子同禪師因僧問:『如何是一大事因緣?』子云:J37nB392_p0581b20『尹司空請山僧開堂。』」師云:「投子雖則答處孤危、用處J37nB392_p0581b21峻峭,人情佛事兩得周全,簡點將來不無滲漏。有問J37nB392_p0581b22新雲際:『如何是一大事因緣?』但云:『龍袖拂開千聖眼,J37nB392_p0581b23金毛獅子奮全威。』」復白椎,下座。
J37nB392_p0581b24聖節,上堂。「前佛後佛,佛心無量。不論頂天履地,祇宜J37nB392_p0581b25玉出崑岡。人王法王,王道同彰。任他含齒戴髮,盡是J37nB392_p0581b26率賓歸王。一人有慶,萬壽無疆。一佛出現,千佛讚揚。J37nB392_p0581b27未審讚揚甚麼?化被草木,賴及萬方。」
J37nB392_p0581b28回里掃墓,闔族請上堂。「無為至孝異常,未審諸人會J37nB392_p0581b29否?欲酬罔極深恩,須識本來父母。灼然識得本來父J37nB392_p0581b30母落處,則知自己落處;知得自己落處,則明佛祖落J37nB392_p0581c01處;明得佛祖落處,便可橫身宇宙、獨步大方,提出格J37nB392_p0581c02之機、行逸群之令,不動微塵坐寶王剎,不舒長舌轉J37nB392_p0581c03大法輪,俾人人達本生緣,使箇箇知恩有地。所以道:J37nB392_p0581c04流轉三界中,恩愛不能捨,棄恩入無為,真是報恩者。J37nB392_p0581c05大眾!祇如山僧別去三十餘載,今日自遠回鄉,作麼J37nB392_p0581c06生與本來父母相見?」良久,云:「白雲千里人回首,紅葉J37nB392_p0581c07一谿霜滿天。」
J37nB392_p0581c08父忌日,上堂。「父有出塵心,年深未得遂;兒無出世心,J37nB392_p0581c09為覓父歸地。遍尋不見蹤,薙染代其志;今經三十年,J37nB392_p0581c10晨夕未常易。處處得逢渠,頭頭得奉侍;春去與秋來,J37nB392_p0581c11面目曾無二。昔救方家數十人,千金不受咸稱義;年J37nB392_p0581c12年九日菊花新,剩有東籬常作忌。」甲戌之變,救方玉華等,厚報不受。
J37nB392_p0581c13古璞侍者薦親,請上堂。「父母非我親,誰是最親者?諸J37nB392_p0581c14佛非我道,誰是最道者?古人與麼說話,未免轉涉多J37nB392_p0581c15岐。」拈拄杖,云:「父母非我親,者是最親者;諸佛非我道,J37nB392_p0581c16者是最道者。能從者裏洞徹玄微,大海長河一任攪J37nB392_p0581c17為酥酪,刀山劍樹直教變作瓊林,無淨上可求、無娑J37nB392_p0581c18婆可棄、無涅槃可證、無生死可了。其來也,月映滄海;J37nB392_p0581c19其去也,雲過太虛。雖然,若是不去不來又作麼生?」卓J37nB392_p0581c20一卓,云:「鸞鳳不棲無影樹,峰巒一帶海雲遮。」
J37nB392_p0581c21母忌日,上堂。「出家非是惜閒身,矢志空門報二親,不J37nB392_p0581c22向天宮為說法,豈從地府示前因?花開九夏萱初放,J37nB392_p0581c23香綻三秋桂乍新,我母音容恒不改,何須問佛定蓮J37nB392_p0581c24生。」便下座。
J37nB392_p0581c25示眾。「鯤化而為鵬,魚化而為龍,然而鯤之與鵬、魚之J37nB392_p0581c26與龍未始有二也,良由養性情、變氣質故耳。性情不J37nB392_p0581c27養,終成凡鳥;氣質不變,卒為困魚。安得有摶風激水、J37nB392_p0581c28拏雲攫霧之用哉?爾等既入空門,大不容易,必須削J37nB392_p0581c29人我、屏是非、絕名利,五色無以昏其眸、五音無以亂J37nB392_p0581c30其聽、千機無以攪其神,出處行藏使人莫測。若是正J37nB392_p0582a01眼看來,猶未是向上事。且作麼生是向上事?」喝一喝,J37nB392_p0582a02云:「青林有雀安知鵠?碧海非鯤不化鵬。」
J37nB392_p0582a03祈晴,上堂。「連朝風雨溼天關,浸爛衲僧鼻不乾。」喝一J37nB392_p0582a04喝,云:「放教一輪紅日現,乾坤無處不開顏。大眾見麼?」J37nB392_p0582a05卓拄杖,下座。
J37nB392_p0582a06上堂。舉:「瑞巖海禪師造雲居,居問:『甚麼物恁麼來?』巖J37nB392_p0582a07於言下大悟。有頌曰:『雲居甚麼物?問若頭恍惚,直下J37nB392_p0582a08便承當,猶是生埋沒。』」師云:「喫官酒,臥官街,當處死,當J37nB392_p0582a09處埋。」擊香几云:「他時後日,莫受人瞞。」
J37nB392_p0582a10示眾。「欲壘九層之臺,一簣為始;欲行千里之路,一步J37nB392_p0582a11為初。今晚是結制之初,人人正宜磨礱志氣、抖擻精J37nB392_p0582a12神,發大疑情、起大勇猛,無論一七二七、一期兩期,辦J37nB392_p0582a13取一片鐵石身心、拌取一條赤窮性命,將昔日在諸J37nB392_p0582a14方所學所得尖新語句、錦繡文章一放放下,縛作一J37nB392_p0582a15團,拋去東洋大海,置之莫顧,單從無義味話頭上立J37nB392_p0582a16定腳跟,與之抵捱將去,似鐵壁銀山一般,過不得要J37nB392_p0582a17過、打不通要通,直待人境寂、心法空、是非盡、情識忘,J37nB392_p0582a18久久純熟,自然解脫。如洞山睹水、雲門折足、臨濟還J37nB392_p0582a19拳、溈仰撥火、法眼詞窮,皆是偷心泯絕、知解脫落,能J37nB392_p0582a20所俱盡、得失兩忘,似空合空、如水投水,既非勉強,安J37nB392_p0582a21用拍盲?到此縱饒識得古人領悟之易,亦當知古人J37nB392_p0582a22未領悟時之難。苟知其難,則自至古人之易;苟不知J37nB392_p0582a23其難,欲效古人之易,何異螢光擬附太陽,非其類也?J37nB392_p0582a24是則是矣,大丈夫漢有衝天志氣,肯被難易所束?且J37nB392_p0582a25作麼生得不涉難易?到者方知。」
J37nB392_p0582a26因事示眾。「法門清淨戒為先,卻病緣何定假煙?若使J37nB392_p0582a27膏肓煙可治,盧醫不待古今傳。急改過,莫留連,從此J37nB392_p0582a28通身俱放下,僧規還可繼前賢。」
J37nB392_p0582a29上堂。問:「就語接人,隨機利物。機語且置,如何是君?」師J37nB392_p0582a30云:「化日山川麗,仁風雨露新。」「如何是臣?」師云:「舟楫當J37nB392_p0582b01時望,鹽梅命世才。」「如何是臣向君?」師云:「咫尺親金殿,J37nB392_p0582b02從容下玉堂。」「如何是君視臣?」師云:「鳳展臨花暖,龍爐J37nB392_p0582b03到處香。」「如何是君臣道合?」師云:「山河天眼裏,世界法J37nB392_p0582b04身中。」進云:「五位已蒙師指示,同歸化育又如何?」師打,J37nB392_p0582b05云:「知恩者少。」乃云:「虛玄大道,無著真宗,就語接人,隨J37nB392_p0582b06機利物。夜明簾外,父子功齊;寶鏡堂前,君臣道合。一J37nB392_p0582b07機一境,宛轉旁參;一唱一酬,協通兼帶。通方上士舉J37nB392_p0582b08起,便知中下之機。更聽一頌:駐蹕青霄泛鐵船,絲綸J37nB392_p0582b09滿載孰能傳?夜深不泊東西岸,棹轉珊瑚吐碧蓮。」卓J37nB392_p0582b10拄杖,下座。
J37nB392_p0582b11除夕,小參。「晨早起來,大殿、僧堂各各和南聖眾,為他J37nB392_p0582b12一年將盡,夜梅似開而不開;中過已後,影堂、祖塔處J37nB392_p0582b13處行香作供,為他萬里未歸,人天欲雪而不雪。後巷J37nB392_p0582b14前街,蟭螟眼中放夜市;東村西舍,大蟲舌上打鞦韆。J37nB392_p0582b15碌碌與忙忙,看看日又夜。大眾!雲際與麼舉揚,還有J37nB392_p0582b16祖師意也無?來年更有新條在,惱亂春風卒未休。」
J37nB392_p0582b17值雪,上堂。「大雪紛紛下,柴米都長價,葡萄架俱燒,嚇J37nB392_p0582b18得𥴻籬怕。休要怕,有安排,梁空正欲尋知己,一片白J37nB392_p0582b19雲谿上來。」
J37nB392_p0582b20元宵,小參。畫此○相,云:「盡法界是一真燈,遍塵區是J37nB392_p0582b21一雲際,諸佛在此轉大法輪,列祖於中建立宗旨。東J37nB392_p0582b22是知事,琉璃滿腹藏明月;西為頭首,菡萏通身放寶J37nB392_p0582b23光。後曰方丈,十分桂魄千門曉;前謂水雲,萬斛蓮花J37nB392_p0582b24一夜開。若是伶俐衲子,於中一撥便回,始信古今燈J37nB392_p0582b25一碗,照天照地幾人知?」
J37nB392_p0582b26佛涅槃,上堂。「諸行無常,是生滅法。生滅滅已,寂滅為J37nB392_p0582b27樂。大眾!三文錢娶箇黑老婆,頭不梳、面不洗,知他是J37nB392_p0582b28凡是聖?」喝一喝,下座。
J37nB392_p0582b29清明,上堂。「冬至寒食一百五,桃紅李白花無數。本來J37nB392_p0582b30父母不曾藏,何必墳前閒訴苦?」
J37nB392_p0582c01晚參。舉:「首山念禪師示眾云:『若喚作竹篦則觸,不喚J37nB392_p0582c02作竹篦則背。且道喚作甚麼?速道!速道!』」師云:「觸不得,J37nB392_p0582c03背不得,拿三道三,以楔出楔,洞在機先,間不容髮。咄!J37nB392_p0582c04莫輕忽,沖霄須是遼天鶻。」
J37nB392_p0582c05辭眾。「昨宵枕上作得一偈,非圓證古明今,抑且應時J37nB392_p0582c06及節,諸公還願聞麼?麻衣靸履皂通身,自號羲皇古J37nB392_p0582c07上人,禮樂文風拘不得,倒騎驢子下桐城。」
J37nB392_p0582c08至竹林菴,自恒禪士請上堂。「即心即佛,松直棘曲;非J37nB392_p0582c09心非佛,填溝移嶽。不是心,不是佛,不是物,龜毛拂子J37nB392_p0582c10繫清風,兔角杖頭挑白日。非風動,非幡動,北俱盧州J37nB392_p0582c11設齋,南贍部洲應供。是船行?是陸行?藕穿平地為荷J37nB392_p0582c12葉,筍過高原作竹林。大眾!於此明得,船子扁舟渡洙J37nB392_p0582c13水;於此不明,性空鐵笛響雲間。有箇漢出來道:『明又J37nB392_p0582c14爭得?不明又爭得?』山僧向他云:『得與不得,只待九峰J37nB392_p0582c15點頭,然後卻向汝道。』」
J37nB392_p0582c16至廣福禪院,珂月參頭請上堂,問:「廣福院中宣正法,J37nB392_p0582c17青村谿畔水長流,如何是源遠不竭?」師云:「一派千流J37nB392_p0582c18演。」「如何是截斷眾流?」師云:「千流一派收。」進云:「達磨西J37nB392_p0582c19來,○還有者箇麼?」師打,云:「者是甚麼?」進云:「也要和尚J37nB392_p0582c20證明。」師云:「不勞再驗。」乃云:「山僧向在山中,祇見山中J37nB392_p0582c21佛法雲生疊嶂、霧鎖層巒、虎嘯清風、龍吟皓月,石頭J37nB392_p0582c22大底大、小底小,法身長者長、短者短,一一天真,非從J37nB392_p0582c23人得。今來海畔,祇見海畔佛法一派千流演、千流一J37nB392_p0582c24派收,氣結蜃樓、潮飛駿驥,時或源遠不竭、時或截斷J37nB392_p0582c25眾流,一一明玅,不必外尋。○且道:者箇是山中佛法J37nB392_p0582c26耶?海畔佛法耶?只恐分疏不下。」
J37nB392_p0582c27至玉山,眾護法請上堂。「談玄談玅,無殊指鹿為馬;行J37nB392_p0582c28棒行喝,何異畫餅充饑?打地擎叉,瞞盰佛性;張弓架J37nB392_p0582c29箭,儱個真如。」豎拂,云:「爭如者箇獨脫無依,獲大神變,J37nB392_p0582c30常在家舍,不離途中;雖在途中,不離家舍。一語一默,J37nB392_p0583a01無非直指單傳;一放一收,自是全提大用。未審是甚J37nB392_p0583a02麼物得與麼奇特?」擊香几,云:「海神知貴不知價,留與J37nB392_p0583a03人間光照夜。」
J37nB392_p0583a04遠歸上堂。舉:「黃龍南禪師出城歸院,示眾云:『去時一J37nB392_p0583a05谿流水送,回來滿谷白雲迎,一身去住非去住,二物J37nB392_p0583a06無情似有情。』」師云:「黃龍老漢雖然見有送迎,未免情J37nB392_p0583a07存背向。山僧自別陽羨、渡蕪陰、泛潛川、過桐谿,因酬J37nB392_p0583a08生身、剃度、得戒三大事,事畢方回,亦有一偈:去日芒J37nB392_p0583a09鞋獰似虎,歸時拄杖活如龍,年來三事都酬畢,笑引J37nB392_p0583a10風雲入畫中。」
再住常州國山善權寺語錄
J37nB392_p0583a12師因陳氏彊豎旗竿於法堂右首,乃抴杖出山,郡邑J37nB392_p0583a13當道同眾紳衿護法革其斂、整其規,躬送入院,請上J37nB392_p0583a14堂。拈香,云:「此一瓣香,至仁至聖、至貴至尊,端為祝延J37nB392_p0583a15聖躬萬安。此一瓣香,奉為朝野公卿以為己之心為J37nB392_p0583a16人,人人自在;現前檀護以出世之心經事,事事圓融。J37nB392_p0583a17此一瓣香,遇險則堅、逢彊則銳,曾已五回爇出,何妨J37nB392_p0583a18六次拈來?供養皋亭山佛日寺洞宗正傳二十九世J37nB392_p0583a19百愚斯老和尚,舒卷固然在己,縱橫原不由入。」斂衣J37nB392_p0583a20就座。衍慶和尚白椎竟,師云:「飄然一杖出雲端,為占J37nB392_p0583a21官基豎幟竿,今日仍歸常住地,山林不改舊時觀。還J37nB392_p0583a22有共相證明者麼?」問:「雪逞風威,白占山林能幾日?」師J37nB392_p0583a23云:「眾眼難瞞。」進云:「雲乘雨勢,黑漫天地有多時。」師云:J37nB392_p0583a24「殷鑒不遠。」進云:「與麼則劍為不平離寶匣,藥因救病J37nB392_p0583a25出金瓶。」師云:「點石化為金玉易,勸人除卻是非難。」拈J37nB392_p0583a26拄杖,云:「者裏看得透、識得破,任他雪逞風威、雲乘雨J37nB392_p0583a27勢,千年聖蹟頃作凡祠,咸云頭上無天,要顯真中有J37nB392_p0583a28俗。幸得晴空日出,遍界光輝,郡邑檀那復歸古剎,非J37nB392_p0583a29謂大洋詎細?為明獅窟絕狸,雖則情理難容,何妨殺J37nB392_p0583a30人可恕?要知道本無言,須識因言顯道。所以,世尊將J37nB392_p0583b01佛法付囑國王、大臣,豈意二千年後善權堂上一會J37nB392_p0583b02靈山儼然未散?大眾!正與麼時如何委悉?」復卓一卓,J37nB392_p0583b03云:「八千子弟今何在?一統江山屬帝乾。」白椎,下座。
J37nB392_p0583b04結制,上堂。「金剛圈,栗棘蓬,羅籠跛鱉盲龜。木札羹,鐵J37nB392_p0583b05餕餡,打發閒神野鬼。若是煆煉五湖衲子,鉗錘四海J37nB392_p0583b06英靈,善權又且不然。」喝一喝,云:「多虛不如少實。」
J37nB392_p0583b07句容黃護法為母華誕,請上堂。「法無定相,遇緣即宗;J37nB392_p0583b08道在尋常,由人施設。」豎拂,云:「者位尊慈頊,向瑤池王J37nB392_p0583b09母一時遊遍四天下,然後復還本處。矢口而吟,曰:『布J37nB392_p0583b10雲霞之澹蕩兮,煥乎其有文章;鳴風月之肅清兮,飄J37nB392_p0583b11隴梅之馨香。茲時也,有人焉,履冰雪而凌霜,出類兮,J37nB392_p0583b12似川之媚;拔萃兮,如山之琅。登從心之地兮,出素筵J37nB392_p0583b13以稱觴;節松柏之操兮,獨標傑而流芳。奏法樂兮,非J37nB392_p0583b14笙而忽簧,孰知其壽域以造乎無疆?』是汝諸人還知J37nB392_p0583b15善權者段因緣麼?今朝護法設齋,直須各各飽餐。」
J37nB392_p0583b16佛成道,上堂。「六載勞形,贏得骨露皮穿;一夕星燦,便J37nB392_p0583b17乃造妖捏怪。誇大口,多衒賣,累他僧僧俗俗,受利受J37nB392_p0583b18害。不肖雖忝為遠代兒孫,要且無喜無憂,無嗔無愛。J37nB392_p0583b19端的緣何至如斯?行人更在青山外。」
J37nB392_p0583b20元旦,靈一禪德領眾請上堂。「簾捲東風拂曉天,幽鳥J37nB392_p0583b21語谿邊,聲聲鼓角遠相連,咸歌大有年。說甚道?論甚J37nB392_p0583b22禪?風光滿目前,撫掌同來笑碧巔,無事小神僊。」復舉J37nB392_p0583b23甘贄行者入南泉設齋時,黃檗為首座因緣,師云:「首J37nB392_p0583b24座釘樁搖櫓,見處偏枯;行者通身賣富,情存背向。爭J37nB392_p0583b25似雲間蔡居士設齋行嚫?毋固毋必,飽食諸人,年年J37nB392_p0583b26相見,歲歲相逢。」
J37nB392_p0583b27剖塵悅眾為師祖周忌請上堂。「白雲澹蕩梅花瘦,碧J37nB392_p0583b28澗深澂夜月明,此乃是你生平受用從來本有性靈。J37nB392_p0583b29杖藜不住雲間寺,轉步南辰北斗看,此亦是汝去世J37nB392_p0583b30三周放下全身消息。澗月禪德!你還會麼?」喝一喝,云:J37nB392_p0583c01「僊彩筆端描不就,數聲黃鳥更幽然。」
J37nB392_p0583c02上元,解制,上堂。「揭天錦繡,壓地樓臺,風醉笙歌,香飄J37nB392_p0583c03羅綺。進一步覷著時,祇恐不是玉;退一步踏著時,是J37nB392_p0583c04玉也大奇。直饒七縱八橫,東涌西沒,草鞋似虎,拄杖J37nB392_p0583c05如龍,離墨峰頭未肯放過。且道利害在甚麼處?芳草J37nB392_p0583c06寸心須努力,休教辜負好春光。」
J37nB392_p0583c07上堂。「固窮守寂,衲子家風;附熱趨喧,常人活計。卻笑J37nB392_p0583c08適千里者,三月褁糧;適百里者,宿春糧。爭似此間日J37nB392_p0583c09日絕糧,也不見有箇慍色;食前方丈,亦不見有些動J37nB392_p0583c10容。正是:隨流認得性,無喜亦無憂。大眾!除卻喜憂,那J37nB392_p0583c11箇是性?咄!劍去久矣。」
J37nB392_p0583c12祈雪,上堂。「一年時事今將畢,為問蒼天何不雪?好覆J37nB392_p0583c13千山與萬山,片片飛來應時節。應時節,向誰說?金剛J37nB392_p0583c14腦後三斤鐵。」
J37nB392_p0583c15普請老和尚塔上栽松,示眾。「朝來二月旦,不用深思J37nB392_p0583c16算,祖意甚分明,吾道只一貫。塔上請栽松,钁邊仔細J37nB392_p0583c17看,看破事如何?木雞啼夜半。」
J37nB392_p0583c18佛涅槃,上堂。「涅槃、生死等是空花,佛及眾生皆為剩J37nB392_p0583c19語。」喝一喝,云:「涅槃耶?生死耶?佛耶?眾生耶?大眾!設有J37nB392_p0583c20一法過於此者,皆為剩法。」復喝一喝,下座。
J37nB392_p0583c21南岡獨立和尚至,引座,上堂。「為師壘塔累終朝,幸有J37nB392_p0583c22同門遠慰勞,驀地相逢惟一笑,人情爭似道情高?大J37nB392_p0583c23眾!還識者一笑麼?任是奔流度刃,罕搆其機;霹靂翻J37nB392_p0583c24身,難逃點額。當知三世諸佛橫說豎說,不曾道著一J37nB392_p0583c25字;歷代祖師全提半提,不曾接得一人。雖不接得一J37nB392_p0583c26人,各各眉橫鼻直;雖不道著一字,言言玉轉珠迴。玉J37nB392_p0583c27轉珠迴,縱隔多程而舌同一音;眉橫鼻直,縱離多載J37nB392_p0583c28而心同一志。未審有何奇特,便能威德如然?慇懃請J37nB392_p0583c29說其中意,打鼓報君君自看。」
J37nB392_p0583c30浴佛,上堂。「天宮不住降王宮,平地無端鼓黑風;祇為J37nB392_p0584a01當初多捏怪,年年惡水灌無窮。」
J37nB392_p0584a02結夏,小參。「綠暗紅稀日漸炎,無邊好景逐時遷,慇懃J37nB392_p0584a03莫與輕虛擲,一去風光不再還。須急薦,謾遲延,善權J37nB392_p0584a04覿面為君宣,山家四月閒人少,纔了桑麻又插田。」
J37nB392_p0584a05天中節,上堂。「一抽三,二添四,黃牛角向天,八腳垂過J37nB392_p0584a06鼻。」師云:「五祖固然逞盡神通,仔細看來,太竭力生。善J37nB392_p0584a07權不比諸方,水綠山青道泰,千殃百忌無拘,放教人J37nB392_p0584a08人瀟灑。何故?家無白澤之圖,必無如是妖怪。」
J37nB392_p0584a09弁山且拙和尚訃至,上堂。「道被湘江,化行吳越,門庭J37nB392_p0584a10高峻,機用超群。幾微而振,五家直指之宗;自隱而彰,J37nB392_p0584a11三藏欲湮之旨。貝成珠網,不時彩鳳集山城;玉作金J37nB392_p0584a12圈,無限錦鱗來澤國。千差一照,萬化皆如,去住翛然,J37nB392_p0584a13縱橫無礙。然則法雨既停於此土,慈雲又布於他方,J37nB392_p0584a14現前諸公諒己不言而喻矣。祇如末後道:『弁峰撒手J37nB392_p0584a15歸,赤蝀穿牛斗。』又如何論量?一把柳絲收不得,和煙J37nB392_p0584a16搭在玉闌干。」
J37nB392_p0584a17祈雨,上堂。「天時久不雨,憂動士民心,拄杖化龍眾,油J37nB392_p0584a18然起作霖。且道雨從何來?」卓一卓,云:「切莫打溼老僧J37nB392_p0584a19袈裟角。」
J37nB392_p0584a20上堂。問:「水汎蓮華,風飄蘋葉,不問箇中消息,何為誕J37nB392_p0584a21生王子?」師云:「天然真智處皇宮。」「如何是朝生王子?」師J37nB392_p0584a22云:「出語驚群協古風。」「如何是末生王子?」師云:「十載柴J37nB392_p0584a23門深履踐。」「如何是化生王子?」師云:「一鞭霜雪定寰中。」J37nB392_p0584a24「如何是內生王子?」師云:「九重深密孰知名?」進云:「江上J37nB392_p0584a25一聲吹玉笛,調高流水唱新豐。」師云:「不勞讚歎。」乃云:J37nB392_p0584a26「天然真智處皇宮,出語驚群協古風,十載柴門深履J37nB392_p0584a27踐,一鞭霜雪定寰中,更有內生人不識,沉沉古殿莓J37nB392_p0584a28苔封。」喝一喝,云:「他時後日切忌錯舉。」
J37nB392_p0584a29謝雨,上堂。「昨朝乾爆爆,今日黑漫漫,還是神通妙用?J37nB392_p0584a30為復法爾如然?」良久,云:「蚯蚓抹過東海,蝦蟆跳上梵J37nB392_p0584b01天。」
J37nB392_p0584b02小參。「參禪無別訣,只要生死切。穿衣喫飯是生死,迎J37nB392_p0584b03賓待客是生死,思善思惡是生死,修慧修福是生死,J37nB392_p0584b04行住坐臥、一動一靜,無事而非生死。」喝一喝,云:「是生J37nB392_p0584b05死耶?非生死耶?於此親切一番,自然旋嵐偃嶽而常J37nB392_p0584b06靜,江河競注而不流,埜馬飄鼓而不動,日月歷天而J37nB392_p0584b07不周,無修無證、無悟無迷,一切智智清淨,無二無二J37nB392_p0584b08分、無別無斷故。欲覓生死解脫之相了不可得。畢竟J37nB392_p0584b09如何?」喝一喝,云:「井底蝦蟆吞卻月。」
J37nB392_p0584b10自省禪德薦親,請上堂。「非法不說法,法說無非法,一J37nB392_p0584b11法印森羅,寧有法不法?如是,則煙渚雲林時吐廣長J37nB392_p0584b12舌相,霞峰霧沚常談少室心宗,提挈四生直至菩提J37nB392_p0584b13之岸,津梁萬有為架六度之橋,今古恆如,孤明獨運,J37nB392_p0584b14來去既然絕跡,死生何處安排?」良久,云:「萬綠叢中藏J37nB392_p0584b15不得,清風影裏露全身。」
J37nB392_p0584b16解夏,上堂。「知是者般事便休,更嫌何處不風流?文殊J37nB392_p0584b17三處過長夏,迦葉拈椎不自由。苟不超然物外,頓明J37nB392_p0584b18本地風光,任爾蒲團竹几通宵坐,掃地焚香白晝眠,J37nB392_p0584b19亦是繫駒伏鼠。直饒心將流水自清淨,身與浮雲無J37nB392_p0584b20是非,未許通宗趣極。祇因你被十二時辰使,不能使J37nB392_p0584b21得十二時。且十二時如何使得?」乃屈指,云:「子丑寅卯,J37nB392_p0584b22辰巳午未,為何末後不道?參。」
J37nB392_p0584b23吳護法誕日,請上堂。「金風乍起,玉露垂珠,斗轉銀河,J37nB392_p0584b24星臨南極,古今大意歷歷圓融,佛祖真機明明顯現,J37nB392_p0584b25天以之高、地以之厚、山以之青、水以之秀、智以之樂、J37nB392_p0584b26仁以之壽,於此明得莊嚴無量、智慧無量、壽命無量、J37nB392_p0584b27眷屬無量。」驀豎拂,云:「大眾!你道者箇還有壽量也無?J37nB392_p0584b28萬年松在祝融峰。」
J37nB392_p0584b29誕日,上堂。「未離兜率,已降皇宮,及其離也,出身猶可J37nB392_p0584b30易;未出母胎,度人已畢,及其出也,脫體道應難。引得J37nB392_p0584c01後人不曰是非海裏橫身入,則云狼虎群中自在行。J37nB392_p0584c02莫若善權四十八年前天上無雙月,四十八年後人J37nB392_p0584c03間只一僧,恰值今日又且如何?」卓拄杖,云:「閒攜一杖J37nB392_p0584c04山前立,終日嘻嘻等箇人。」
J37nB392_p0584c05徐太夫人請上堂。問:「千里遠來呈舊面,全提法要示J37nB392_p0584c06新機,向上宗乘即不問,設齋請法事如何?」師云:「秋老J37nB392_p0584c07月將華。」進云:「祇如財、法二施,阿誰分中消得?」師云:「風J37nB392_p0584c08高日又出。」進云:「恁麼則端坐受供養,施主常安樂。」師J37nB392_p0584c09云:「也須吞得下、吐得出始得。」問:「寂寂惺惺時且置,如J37nB392_p0584c10何是父母未生前一句?」師云:「不得鴈來賓,焉知九月J37nB392_p0584c11一?」進云:「不是心、不是佛、不是物,是箇甚麼?」師云:「葉飄J37nB392_p0584c12嶺上楓,花綻籬邊菊。」進云:「恁麼則當陽突出真面目。」J37nB392_p0584c13師云:「耳聽終難會。」乃云:「秋老月將華,風高日又出,葉J37nB392_p0584c14飄嶺上楓,花綻籬邊菊。既知不是心,盡道亦非佛,識J37nB392_p0584c15得此根源,萬般事已畢。諸人要識根源麼?不是鴈來J37nB392_p0584c16賓,焉知九月一?」
J37nB392_p0584c17都寺誕日,請上堂。「明明百草頭,明明祖師意,虎嘯乃J37nB392_p0584c18風生,龍吟便霧起。於此有人焉,股肱堅其志,風霜十J37nB392_p0584c19五秋,素懷終不易。於今知命年,慶祝乏人事,想諸供J37nB392_p0584c20養中,惟法供養最。供養即不無,如何是法味?」良久,云:J37nB392_p0584c21「相逢自有知音知,何必清風動天地?」
J37nB392_p0584c22蔣太史誕日,請上堂。問:「慶誕偶遇深秋,畢竟有甚佛J37nB392_p0584c23法?」師云:「野楓映日而紅。」進云:「相呈覿體,不隔毫端,父J37nB392_p0584c24母未生,是何面目?」師云:「雙瀑噴空而下。」進云:「恁麼則J37nB392_p0584c25正眼豁開,全身獨露。」師云:「好與一分饅頭。」乃云:「誕遇J37nB392_p0584c26深秋,有甚佛法?野楓映日而紅,疏竹和煙而緣。父母J37nB392_p0584c27未生,是何面目?雙瀑噴空而下,千峰拔地而高。正眼J37nB392_p0584c28豁開者,移花兼蝶至,好與一分饅頭;機思遲鈍者,買J37nB392_p0584c29石得雲鐃,亦好與他一分饅頭。因甚如此?佛法原來J37nB392_p0584c30無兩樣。」
J37nB392_p0585a01重九,上堂。「國山雲淨看晴期,洞口聲寒橘綠時,香醉J37nB392_p0585a02赤萸浮北海,英飛黃菊笑東籬。深林犬吠人行早,邃J37nB392_p0585a03谷煙流鶴到遲,摘得一枝霜下傑,等閒莫使曉風吹。J37nB392_p0585a04大眾,會麼?會則兩兩不成雙,不會則三三自成九,會J37nB392_p0585a05與不會且過一邊。」拍案,云:「相逢若是淵明士,把手高J37nB392_p0585a06歌歸去來。」
J37nB392_p0585a07師因有僧倚勢枉求當道,吞謀常住,上堂。「惟道惟微,J37nB392_p0585a08帝推帝位於天下;惟心惟危,僧占僧居於世間。上古J37nB392_p0585a09未聞,於今罕見。不是貪嗔出世,安能遍界縱橫?所以J37nB392_p0585a10從周錄云:既得浙西之隴矣,又望荊谿之蜀焉。真如J37nB392_p0585a11秦人之蠶食六國地,不盡不休也。今日看來,果然其J37nB392_p0585a12事。任他誑求當道,約束有司,說是說非,分門分戶,身J37nB392_p0585a13佩三玄甲冑,口銜七事干戈。明合暗合,休言人不測;J37nB392_p0585a14逆行順行,自是己難瞞。直饒弄到帝王家,總是一場J37nB392_p0585a15乾打鬨。須識衲僧行處,如火銷冰;獅子遊行,不求伴J37nB392_p0585a16侶。何必假豪貴之威權,壞法門之綱紀?大眾!善權若J37nB392_p0585a17與之,縱彼貪心逾熾;不與之,增他嗔念益多。畢竟如J37nB392_p0585a18何?但將冷眼觀螃蟹,看彼橫行到幾時?」癸丑九月十九日
J37nB392_p0585a19退院,上堂。「善權繼席已三年,輔弼叢林謝眾賢,堪笑J37nB392_p0585a20者僧丁倒甚,好因緣是惡因緣。所以世尊捨頭目腦J37nB392_p0585a21髓,化彼貪恚眾生;菩薩捨國城妻子,化彼愛欲眾生;J37nB392_p0585a22圓覺聲聞捨貢高我慢,化彼人我眾生。善權今捨名J37nB392_p0585a23山大剎,還是化貪恚愛欲耶?為復化人我謀占耶?者J37nB392_p0585a24裏定當得出,動若行雲,止猶谷神,去是住時因,住是J37nB392_p0585a25去時果。設或未然……」卓拄杖,云:「且看去路,一身輕似葉;J37nB392_p0585a26不為高名,千古重如山。」抴杖便行。癸丑十一月十三日
