J37nB392_p0601b04立僧,秉拂普說。「佛法非法,貴在悟達;禪道非道,胡為J37nB392_p0601b05體玅?擊石火、閃電光,終成鹵莽;驅耕牛、奪饑食,不名J37nB392_p0601b06向上。縱似趙常山向百萬軍中取勝、淮陰侯背水陣J37nB392_p0601b07上建功,自是虛彰聲勢,由來枉費神機,更乃運籌於J37nB392_p0601b08帷幄之中、決勝於千里之外,正眼看來,堪作甚麼?一J37nB392_p0601b09切奇言玅句,擲地作金聲,掉頭勿顧,自然知解坑阱J37nB392_p0601b10一時擺脫,迥超威音那畔,頓越象帝之先,返南為北、J37nB392_p0601b11易東作西,細中移步,鶴出銀籠;位裏轉身,月鋪金地。J37nB392_p0601b12是恁麼人,隨分拈來,可以塞斷咽喉。不見釋迦老子J37nB392_p0601b13道:『我於三七日,思惟如是事。』結制已來三七日矣,且J37nB392_p0601b14道他思惟箇甚麼事?其間果能透得他意、看得他破,J37nB392_p0601b15則釋迦不前、當人不後,昔年之三七何異今日之三J37nB392_p0601b16七耶?假若眼裏無筋、皮下無血,則釋迦自釋迦、當人J37nB392_p0601b17自當人,昔年自昔年、今日自今日。所以道:選佛若無J37nB392_p0601b18如是眼,縱饒千載亦奚為?聽取一頌:三七思惟因底J37nB392_p0601b19事,於中切忌妄追尋。須領略,謾沉吟,滿腹相思一曲J37nB392_p0601b20琴。一曲兩曲無人會,雨過夜塘秋水深。會得者箇便J37nB392_p0601b21知,洞山與神山路次,見白兔走過,神曰:『俊哉!』洞曰:『作J37nB392_p0601b22麼生?』神曰:『大似白衣拜相。』洞曰:『老老大大,作者箇說J37nB392_p0601b23話。』神曰:『你作麼生?』洞曰:『積代簪纓,暫時落魄。』你看古J37nB392_p0601b24人二六時中,折旋俯仰,切切以此事為念,始知佛法J37nB392_p0601b25在行住坐臥處、穿衣喫飯處,更向行住坐臥、穿衣喫J37nB392_p0601b26飯處動著些兒,便不是了也。正謂毫釐有差,天地懸J37nB392_p0601b27隔,瞥爾情生,萬劫羈鎖。復聽一頌:恁麼來時會也麼?J37nB392_p0601b28霜眉雪鬢出煙蘿。二非兩,一有多,尊貴何妨混緣蓑?J37nB392_p0601b29換步轉身人不見,疲深惟有月明過。會得者箇便知,J37nB392_p0601b30僧問谷隱聰禪師:『如何是夜半正明,天曉不露?』隱云:J37nB392_p0601c01『牡丹花下睡貓兒。』看他從上先聖開口動舌,初不著J37nB392_p0601c02意。發一機,直使乾坤失色;示一境,從教江漢朝宗。盡J37nB392_p0601c03卻你平生咬嚼他不破,知有底人一舉便知落處。若J37nB392_p0601c04乃宗眼不明、菽麥不分,豈可同日而語哉?故曰:恁麼J37nB392_p0601c05相續也大難。亦聽一頌:禁殿沉沉夜色鮮,金雞啼唱J37nB392_p0601c06五更天。離玄要,沒正偏,露柱懷胎面目全。是男是女J37nB392_p0601c07難分別,月出連山露半邊。會得者箇便知,南泉因兩J37nB392_p0601c08堂爭貓,泉提起云:『道得即不斬,道不得即斬卻去也。』J37nB392_p0601c09眾無對,泉便斬卻。趙州從外歸,泉舉示之,州脫草鞋J37nB392_p0601c10於頭上而出,泉云:『子在,卻救得貓兒。』祇如者段公案J37nB392_p0601c11淆訛在甚麼處?眾中商量:『者兩堂是蘇秦、張儀,只麼J37nB392_p0601c12投秦入趙,豈知天然王道。趙州善辯來機,向驪龍頷J37nB392_p0601c13下取珠、阿修羅手中奪印。』苦哉!屈哉!與麼稱禪客,閻J37nB392_p0601c14羅大王未放汝在,正是韓盧逐塊者無異也。再聽一J37nB392_p0601c15頌:凜凜霜顏手裏藏,兩堂珍重好兒郎。提起也,絕商J37nB392_p0601c16量,一陣腥風滿大唐。謾云戴履貓能救,戴履何曾異J37nB392_p0601c17兩堂?會得者箇便知,昔有婆子供養一僧,常令二八J37nB392_p0601c18女子給侍。一日,令女抱住,云:『正當恁麼時如何?』僧云:J37nB392_p0601c19『枯木倚寒巖,三冬無煖氣。』女回,舉似婆,婆云:『我二十J37nB392_p0601c20年只供養箇俗漢。』便燒菴趁出。若論此事,無分僧俗J37nB392_p0601c21貴賤,惟有真參實悟底掉得些子,滴水可以興波,空J37nB392_p0601c22手便能行拳。你看者二人一拶一挨,畢竟意在於何?J37nB392_p0601c23更聽一頌:運籌早已不心良,覿面何堪著意忙?休賣J37nB392_p0601c24弄,少郎當,爛麻怎作繫驢韁?流鶯帶曉催春急,一樹J37nB392_p0601c25花開滿徑香。諸昆仲!適來所舉一二公案,如湛盧、似J37nB392_p0601c26火聚,不許差落顧佇,那容踏步向前?任是普慧雲興J37nB392_p0601c27百問、普賢缾瀉千酬,將三藏十二部從頭註過,總是J37nB392_p0601c28門外打之遶。果能卒地折、爆地斷,直下知歸而塵塵J37nB392_p0601c29解脫,當處明了而法法圓融,入水求人,善行天下無J37nB392_p0601c30車蹟,燒山覓虎,高臥江天不露蹤,然後可以指揮八J37nB392_p0602a01極、陵爍古今、陶鑄聖凡、融化愚智,更與三世諸佛、歷J37nB392_p0602a02代古錐同一眼觀、同一耳聽、同一意觸、同一舌嘗,把J37nB392_p0602a03臂同行,共鼻出氣,非為分外。是事且置,而今眾中還J37nB392_p0602a04有共鼻出氣者麼?」打噴嚏,云:「氣急殺人。」
J37nB392_p0602a05退院,普說。「今宵還是山中主,明日翛然化外賓。」豎拂,J37nB392_p0602a06云:「百年三萬六千朝,反復元來是此人。所以釋迦老J37nB392_p0602a07子識得此人,便云:『天上天下,惟我獨尊。』達磨大師識J37nB392_p0602a08得此人,亦曰:『吾本來茲土,傳法度迷津。』竺乾諸祖建J37nB392_p0602a09宗立旨,莫不皆由識得此人,然後發言吐氣,自是行J37nB392_p0602a10解相應。至於山僧兩住青龍,於中冒雨披星,出作入J37nB392_p0602a11息,左提右挈,正打傍敲,莫不咸願諸公識得此人而J37nB392_p0602a12後已。又承諸公股肱之勞、贊助之力,始終條理,內外J37nB392_p0602a13肅然。故我纔居丈室,欲效古人體例,不下山、不赴齋、J37nB392_p0602a14不攀豪貴檀越名,隨緣動用號知足,只將本寺莊課J37nB392_p0602a15諒人多寡,以作粥飯。雖舉此念、雖行此事,未敢輕於J37nB392_p0602a16言、出於口。何也?靡不有初,鮮克有終,不期數百里之J37nB392_p0602a17外已被老人慧眼遙見、慧耳遙聞。與檀越書云:『竊惟J37nB392_p0602a18邇來佛法澆薄之極,每見拖笻曳裾、苞苴投刺、交結J37nB392_p0602a19權勢,靡所不至,唯圖門庭熱鬧,不顧取笑傍觀。方今J37nB392_p0602a20之時,滔滔皆是,欲匡時援溺、易風移俗,求其一二,又J37nB392_p0602a21鳥可得哉?』興念及此,未常不疾首蹙額者也。有人從J37nB392_p0602a22青龍來,謂新方丈杜門不出,一味高尚,弗憂門庭冷J37nB392_p0602a23落、法堂草深,較之諸方新出世者,可謂劣矣。山野謂:J37nB392_p0602a24『果如是乎?若果如是,則古風稍挽,涇渭可分,何患叢J37nB392_p0602a25林之不興、祖道之不振?古云:「作家自有通人愛」是耳。』J37nB392_p0602a26雖新方丈不諳時務,抑且尚在老成,比前拖笻曳裾J37nB392_p0602a27者,又不可概而目之也。大眾!一念纔興,便有知識;一J37nB392_p0602a28事將行,便有遠鑑。汝等只愁不識此人,莫慮外無知J37nB392_p0602a29者,祇恐行之不速,莫求言之太遲。言行乃君子之樞J37nB392_p0602a30機、治身之大本,動天地、感鬼神,得不敬乎?然先聖教J37nB392_p0602b01人,但盡今時,更有何事?能盡今時,自然行到言到。要J37nB392_p0602b02識此人別無奇特,務宜信得及、看得破、把得住、下得J37nB392_p0602b03手,自是工夫成片、妄想消除,對世間一切愛欲境界,J37nB392_p0602b04心如木石、形類死灰,晝不足繼之以夜,夜不足繼之J37nB392_p0602b05以日,日不足繼之以月,月不足繼之以年,翻來覆去、J37nB392_p0602b06提去提來,不覺不知忽然拶透,如貧得寶、如暗得燈、J37nB392_p0602b07如雲開見日、如水底火發,盡十方世界是箇大圓鏡、J37nB392_p0602b08盡十方世界是箇自己,謂之心空及第,見徹父母未J37nB392_p0602b09生前本來面目,不妨安居於水邊林下,保養聖胎名J37nB392_p0602b10利,不于大忘人世,直待龍天推出、四眾欽從,吐一機J37nB392_p0602b11則千機萬機齊剖、道一句則千句萬句合轍,步步行J37nB392_p0602b12有、言言談實,自然不被業力所牽,更不教人撥無因J37nB392_p0602b13果。今日不是不向現前吐露,因住青龍今已十載,未J37nB392_p0602b14常一日與前念間隔一期。諸公尋常行事,須是言顧J37nB392_p0602b15行、行顧言,發言必慮其所終、立行必務其所蔽,二顯J37nB392_p0602b16知幾知微,將啟百世之蒙,不傷先鑑之明;三冀他時J37nB392_p0602b17後日豎法幢、建法社,看從上藥山之牛欄、風穴之白J37nB392_p0602b18丁,供辦投子家風、禪坐石霜枯木、溈山食橡栗、大梅J37nB392_p0602b19衣荷葉,凡為住持,三請而赴、一辭便行,有緣則住、無J37nB392_p0602b20緣則往。從上諸聖如是標格,莫學今時裨販之徒,將J37nB392_p0602b21常住物私做人情資用,俗家假貸而暗獻、將新而先J37nB392_p0602b22供,永固祖席,如蚖戀窟,現前戴角披毛償所負者多J37nB392_p0602b23此等流,先佛明言可不懼哉?故曰:應觀法界性,一切J37nB392_p0602b24惟心造。」又云:「今時人雖從緣得一念頓悟自理,猶有J37nB392_p0602b25無始習氣未能頓盡,須教渠頓除現業流識,即是修J37nB392_p0602b26也,不是別有行門令渠趣向。故山僧或出或處,未常J37nB392_p0602b27不以此介意,猶恐有所未至,因退院述偈以互相警J37nB392_p0602b28策:學道容易行道難,休將知解自瞞盰,開言饒與諸J37nB392_p0602b29賢契,行履須將古聖觀。一寸光陰忙若電,十方信施J37nB392_p0602b30重如山,失多只為貪他少,莫把人身當等閒。」
J37nB392_p0602c01指迷普說。問:「衲僧行履斷絕攀緣,因甚王林長老倚J37nB392_p0602c02勢并吞?」師云:「水母原無眼,求食須賴蝦。」進云:「尊莫尊J37nB392_p0602c03乎道,美莫美乎德。占人叢席,還具道德也未?」師云:「甜J37nB392_p0602c04瓜徹蒂甜,苦瓠連根苦。」進云:「與麼則長言大義何曾J37nB392_p0602c05義?自謂孤忠卻不忠。」師云:「盜名豈是為人盜?欺世從J37nB392_p0602c06來只自欺。」進云:「究竟一文偷不得,至今空作不良人。」J37nB392_p0602c07師云:「不到烏江畔,知伊未肯休。」乃云:「適纔與麼酬醋,J37nB392_p0602c08諸公無不委知。若是箇漢,向山僧未出方丈已前道J37nB392_p0602c09得一句,作箇灑灑落落無事人去,豈不快哉?倘或玉J37nB392_p0602c10石不分,魔佛不辨,未免向第二義門為諸人通一線J37nB392_p0602c11去。不見黃面瞿曇十九始悟修行,三十足成佛祖,演J37nB392_p0602c12藏經五千餘卷,住塵世七十九年,其間坐無量寶剎,J37nB392_p0602c13度無量眾生,難行能行、難忍能忍,三千大千世界無J37nB392_p0602c14有芥子許而不是捨身命處,故得三十二相、八十種J37nB392_p0602c15好,萬德莊嚴,十號具足,神龍為之擁護,四眾為之皈J37nB392_p0602c16依,天上天下稱為獨尊。曾聞有假借威權,屢屢以并J37nB392_p0602c17吞為事而得成佛耶?非惟我佛如然,即西天二十八J37nB392_p0602c18祖遞代相傳,各化一方,或主人以自刱園林堅請而J37nB392_p0602c19不就者,或檀越以世襲家業力施而不受者,或不吝J37nB392_p0602c20衣食而濟度世人者,或不惜身命而廣化眾生者,種J37nB392_p0602c21種解脫、種種慈悲、種種方便、種種因緣,不勝枚舉。曾J37nB392_p0602c22聞有假借威權,屢屢以并吞為事,而得作祖耶?非惟J37nB392_p0602c23西天諸祖如然,即我東土貞觀嚮道,欲瞻風彩,上表J37nB392_p0602c24遜謝,往返三四,引頸就刃,神色自若,使以狀聞,帝逾J37nB392_p0602c25欽慕,吾是以敬道信大師也。茅茨石室,累煩聖主,且J37nB392_p0602c26請前行,我從別道,澡身淨髮,結跏趺逝,吾是以尊無J37nB392_p0602c27業禪師也。休心息念,斷絕攀緣,賜紫及號,力陳昔誓,J37nB392_p0602c28收付有司,恬然受刑,及抵淄州,道俗用湊,吾是以重J37nB392_p0602c29芙蓉楷祖也。皇祐初年,遣使持書,稱疾不起,表薦懷J37nB392_p0602c30璉,幸安林下,飯蔬飲水,佛祖不為,況其他耶?吾是以J37nB392_p0603a01仰圓通訥翁也。赴京未久,屢乞還山,缽賜龍腦,即付J37nB392_p0603a02丙丁,大小菴院,敕隨意住,得旨深密,後出敝笥,吾是J37nB392_p0603a03以慕大覺璉公也。乃至隱山至死不肯見人,趙州至J37nB392_p0603a04死不肯告人,匾擔拾橡栗為食,大梅以荷葉為衣,紙J37nB392_p0603a05衣道者只披紙,玄泰上座只著布,石霜置枯木堂與J37nB392_p0603a06人坐臥,祇要死了你心,投子使人辦米同煮共餐,要J37nB392_p0603a07得省取你事,古之今之,或出或處,立一事,行一法,無J37nB392_p0603a08不與人抽釘拔楔,解黏去縛,時常以損己利人為念。J37nB392_p0603a09曾聞有假借威權,屢屢以并吞為事,而得稱為人天J37nB392_p0603a10師範耶?非惟出世諸祖如然,即在世高人,如許由聞J37nB392_p0603a11堯將讓天下於己,以為污耳之言,從清流而洗之。巢J37nB392_p0603a12父飲牛其下,以為此水足活牛口,復踞上流而飲之。J37nB392_p0603a13子陵微時,友於光武,及帝登位,屢請不屈,釣煙波於J37nB392_p0603a14桐江之上。東坡將已置之宅,夜聞老嫗出不忍棄之J37nB392_p0603a15聲,即取其券而焚之。是皆塵勞中人,尚能輕利重義。J37nB392_p0603a16曾聞有假借威權,屢屢以并吞為事,而得稱為高人J37nB392_p0603a17逸士耶?非惟高人逸士如然,即善權一剎,刱於南齊J37nB392_p0603a18之建元,毀於大唐之會昌。咸通八年,節度使李蠙奏J37nB392_p0603a19復之,請玄覺禪師為開山祖,已而徹公始得蹈其後J37nB392_p0603a20蹟。建炎初,李忠定公綱重嚴像設,請主嗣宗禪師上J37nB392_p0603a21堂曰:『澗底泥牛金貼面,山頭石女著真紅。繫驢橛上J37nB392_p0603a22生芝草,不是雲靄香爐峰。』此四句中,內有一句能殺J37nB392_p0603a23能活,能縱能奪。若人簡點得出,不惟一生參學事畢,J37nB392_p0603a24亦明得法智禪師繼席上堂云:『明月高懸未照前,雪J37nB392_p0603a25眉人倚玉闌干。夜深雨過風雷息,客散雲樓酒碗乾。』J37nB392_p0603a26其中有一句是正偏蒹帶,一句是賓主互換,一句是J37nB392_p0603a27六義深藏,一句是照用齊施。且道那一句是賓主互J37nB392_p0603a28換?於此分析得出,方見得慧泰禪師所曰:『微雲淡河J37nB392_p0603a29漢,疏雨滴梧桐』之意旨也。見得者箇意旨,始識咸淳J37nB392_p0603a30二年大學士李曾伯加宏拓焉,遂延福巖禪師德珍、J37nB392_p0603b01首座悟空濟、無學文、善權通,暨西印、玉山、宗愷等,是J37nB392_p0603b02皆唐、宋、元、明以來洞濟、法雲諸大知識赴堅請而惠J37nB392_p0603b03然肯來者。曾聞有假借威權,屢屢以并吞為事,而得J37nB392_p0603b04稱為先輩大善知識耶?非惟先輩知識如然,即鼎革J37nB392_p0603b05以來,寺廢僧逃十有餘載,眾延浮石和尚,居不堪憂,J37nB392_p0603b06經旬辭去。郡邑士紳不忘付囑,於康熙壬寅春恭請J37nB392_p0603b07先師百愚老人闢草開荒,中興此寺。乙巳秋,老人逝J37nB392_p0603b08後,繼以存焉和尚,又繼以貫慈和尚,前後五載,重重J37nB392_p0603b09脩理,漸漸圓成。至辛亥春,眾至青龍,延山僧以繼其J37nB392_p0603b10席,得建老人塔於萬松嶺北。今經三載,尚未告竣,海J37nB392_p0603b11內緇素無不聞知,曾未有假借威權,以并吞為事,而J37nB392_p0603b12得主法此山也。非惟諸佛諸祖如然,即汝諸人辭別J37nB392_p0603b13父母,拜離師長,餐霞宿露,訪道尋師,莫不欲改惡從J37nB392_p0603b14善,了明自心本性,以報父母生身之德、師長提攜之J37nB392_p0603b15恩。故大覺璉曰:『玉不琢,不成器;人不學,不知道。』今之J37nB392_p0603b16所以知古,後之所以知先,善者可以為法,惡者可以J37nB392_p0603b17為戒。歷觀前輩立身揚名於當世者,鮮不學問而成J37nB392_p0603b18之矣。曾聞有假借威權,以并吞為事,得模範於人天J37nB392_p0603b19耶?又曰:『見賢思齊焉,見不賢而內自省也。』如此切磋J37nB392_p0603b20琢磨,久久用心,動轉施為,縱得一知半解,須學古人J37nB392_p0603b21樂聞己過,喜於為善,長於包荒,厚於隱德,謙以交友,J37nB392_p0603b22勤以濟眾,不以得器二其心,所以光明碩大,照映今J37nB392_p0603b23昔者也。莫習狐假虎威之輩、欺世盜名之流,苞苴投J37nB392_p0603b24刺,廣結豪貴,貪美食以適其口,占大廈以快其居,奪J37nB392_p0603b25人之寺曰我祖寺也,奪人之居曰我祖居也,我宜繼J37nB392_p0603b26之尸之,凌之爍之。殊不思自齊迄今,朝凡幾易?代凡J37nB392_p0603b27幾更?祖則祖於何人之祖?繼則繼於何人之後?況此J37nB392_p0603b28并吞為事,世之人亦未見之,安忍同為圓頂方袍,盡J37nB392_p0603b29行驅占?一時僧道告訴無門,叩閽無計,相與轉溝壑J37nB392_p0603b30而死道路者,不知幾何焉?更可笑者,假借脩樂菴塔J37nB392_p0603c01以為入門之計,豈非謬之大謬者乎?然樂菴,明季人J37nB392_p0603c02也,生居顯親,去世顯親,非善權之僧也明矣。其友吉J37nB392_p0603c03菴而讓塔得入,善權之由也又明矣。何得欺心欺世,J37nB392_p0603c04無所不至?謀占天目,而天目緇素有揭;盜葬虞山,而J37nB392_p0603c05虞山遠近有檄;彊僭龍池,而龍池護法出書以責之,J37nB392_p0603c06平陽和尚刻從周錄以罪之。今又并吞善權,山僧上J37nB392_p0603c07堂鳴鼓而攻之,普說以指其迷而救之,道房出王林J37nB392_p0603c08吞謀善權說以誅之,是不約而同者也。至於十載不J37nB392_p0603c09拈香,貳心待帝主,不認剃度之敏然,勒行九拜之朝J37nB392_p0603c10儀,此數事者,更有公論,不必細述。看來此等正是戒J37nB392_p0603c11律不必持、定慧不必習、道德不必修、嗜慾不必去,豈J37nB392_p0603c12特起叢林之害,真法門萬世之害也歟。諸公將來若J37nB392_p0603c13得把茅蓋頭,當以此為終身之警戒。看他只為無始J37nB392_p0603c14劫來妄想濃厚,只在諸塵境界中作活計,元不曾踏J37nB392_p0603c15著本地風光,明見本來面目。終朝業識,忙忙向外馳J37nB392_p0603c16求,孳孳為利。那知各各懷中有一箇無價大寶,人人J37nB392_p0603c17腳下有一片祖翁田地。不須他覓,本自現成。陰陽未J37nB392_p0603c18判之先,不能增他一毫。寒暑既分之後,不能減他一J37nB392_p0603c19絲。不與八風移其志,不隨榮辱二其心。可以證古明J37nB392_p0603c20今,可以了生脫死,可以隨處作主,可以遇緣即宗。何J37nB392_p0603c21必假有窮之氣勢,污無盡之心田。更不知何者為行,J37nB392_p0603c22何者為解,何者為相應。看他異日狼藉,噬臍莫及。此J37nB392_p0603c23則非魔,即魔所使。蓋假我衣裳,陰以破壞我法者,非J37nB392_p0603c24但為名教之罪人,亦法門之罪人矣。一旦生死到來,J37nB392_p0603c25將何抵敵。捨此報身,難逃淪墜。古人謂牢獄未是苦,J37nB392_p0603c26袈娑下失卻人身,是為苦也。藥石之言,可不銘佩。諸J37nB392_p0603c27兄弟還委悉麼。倘或遲疑,更聽一偈:王林卻繼綠林J37nB392_p0603c28風,慣占叢林伐己功,天目虞山為別業,善權地藏作J37nB392_p0603c29行宮。長言大義何曾義,自謂孤忠卻不忠,冒寵欺君J37nB392_p0603c30人不識,法門也有此奸雄。」癸丑十一月十二日
J37nB392_p0604a01中夏,告香普說。「達磨西來,直指人心,見性成佛。且道J37nB392_p0604a02性作麼生見?」擊香几,召眾,云:「會麼?果能直下知歸,聖J37nB392_p0604a03凡情盡,能所障空,覿體無依,當機絕待,則知四十五J37nB392_p0604a04日前曲不藏直,四十五日後真不掩偽,三際平等,一J37nB392_p0604a05道虛閒,過去未來覓一絲毫隔礙底道理了不可得。J37nB392_p0604a06若是乘虛接響,聲前領旨,猶迷顧鑑之端;句後精通,J37nB392_p0604a07尚昧識情之表。諸公最初行腳要為生死大事,不是J37nB392_p0604a08說了便休,務須立定腳跟,不顧危亡,決定志氣,不顧J37nB392_p0604a09得失,提個所參話頭,拍盲舉起,拍盲打捱,盡卻今生J37nB392_p0604a10不徹不休、不明不歇、寒不知、熱不知、饑不知、飽不知,J37nB392_p0604a11任他說是說非、論長論短,只將從前人我無明、昏沉J37nB392_p0604a12散亂、菩提涅槃、真如解脫併作一團,放教身心蕩蕩J37nB392_p0604a13地、閒閒地,胸中不留一個元字腳,久久不變,忽朝洗J37nB392_p0604a14面,摸著鼻孔,未可知也。假若疑而不信、信而不真,人J37nB392_p0604a15我山高,是非鋒起,為五慾八風之所動搖,求到大安J37nB392_p0604a16樂、大休歇之地,不亦難乎?所以釋迦老子在靈山會J37nB392_p0604a17上拈一枝花,爾時百萬人天咸具大智大慧,尚且目J37nB392_p0604a18瞪口啞,縱彼飲光破顏微笑,也是眼中著屑。自後碧J37nB392_p0604a19眼胡僧得得西來,九年面壁,神光立雪,斷臂安心,亦J37nB392_p0604a20是好肉剜瘡。其餘德山、洞山、雲門、臨濟、溈仰、法眼,古J37nB392_p0604a21今宗匠,千變萬化,用盡自己心,笑破他人口,都來好J37nB392_p0604a22與一頓痛棒,免得弄巧成拙。不見雲居道:『得者不輕J37nB392_p0604a23微,明者不賤用,識者不咨嗟,解者無厭惡。從天降下J37nB392_p0604a24則貧窮,從地涌出則富貴。門裏出身易,身裏出門難。J37nB392_p0604a25動則埋身千丈,不動則當處生苗。一言迥脫,獨拔當J37nB392_p0604a26時。』雲居可謂照用齊施,敲唱雙舉。奈他腦後見腮,面J37nB392_p0604a27前無齒。叵耐畫地為牢,無繩自縛。既是門裏出身易,J37nB392_p0604a28為何身裏出門難?昨夜南山來石虎,天明生個玉麒J37nB392_p0604a29麟。向此看得徹,方看得道吾問僧:『甚處來?』曰:『僧堂裏J37nB392_p0604a30來。』吾曰:『聖僧道甚麼?』僧近前不審。吾曰:『東家作驢,西J37nB392_p0604b01家作馬。』曰:『過在何處?』吾曰:『萬里崖州。』道吾拈得個猢J37nB392_p0604b02猻圈圚,東扯西拽,到底勞而無功。者驢漢極欲擺脫J37nB392_p0604b03韁繩,幾曾出他羅網?呵呵!向此見得透,方見得僧問J37nB392_p0604b04巴陵:『如何是提婆宗?』陵曰:『銀碗裏盛雪。』巴陵一向水J37nB392_p0604b05泄不通,偶被者僧一拶,將七珍八寶狼藉殆盡,賺他J37nB392_p0604b06倚草附木者不少。有能別開一線雲門,兒孫許他猶J37nB392_p0604b07在。向此轉得身,方知僧問汾陽:『真正修道人,不見世J37nB392_p0604b08間過,未審不見個甚麼過?』陽曰:『雪埋夜月深三尺,陸J37nB392_p0604b09地行舟萬里程。』曰:『和尚是何心行?』陽曰:『是你心行。』汾J37nB392_p0604b10陽者漢,超情離見則不無,抽釘拔楔未夢見在。待問:J37nB392_p0604b11『真正修道人,不見世間過。未審不見個什麼過?』『高祖J37nB392_p0604b12殿前樊噲怒,須知萬里絕煙塵。』『和尚是何心行?』『留得J37nB392_p0604b13五湖明月在,不愁無處下金鉤。』不見百丈云:『併卻咽J37nB392_p0604b14喉脣吻,速道將來。』溈山曰:『卻請和尚道。』丈曰:『不辭向J37nB392_p0604b15汝道,恐已後喪我兒孫。』百丈、溈山一般弄巧成拙,不J37nB392_p0604b16覺家聲喪盡。時有僧問:『併卻咽喉脣吻,請道將來。』但J37nB392_p0604b17云:『寧可截舌,不向汝道。』又不見德山密云:『但參活句,J37nB392_p0604b18莫參死句。活句下薦得,永劫無滯。一塵一佛國,一葉J37nB392_p0604b19一釋迦,是死句;揚眉瞬目,舉指豎拂,是死句;山河大J37nB392_p0604b20地,更無淆訛,是死句。』問:『如何是活句?』山曰:『波斯仰面J37nB392_p0604b21看。』大小德山費盡娘生氣力,說到三生六十劫,正是J37nB392_p0604b22鬼窟活計,直饒道個波斯仰面看,大似赤土塗牛奶。J37nB392_p0604b23且作麼生是活句?燈籠𨁝跳上青天,露柱魂驚頭腦J37nB392_p0604b24裂。只如諸公每日聞板聲則赴齋堂,聞報鐘則赴功J37nB392_p0604b25課,聞普梆則搬柴運米、蒔青刈綠,你道是活句?是死J37nB392_p0604b26句?是不死不活句?者裏倜儻分明,方許道羅籠不肯J37nB392_p0604b27住,呼喚不回頭。你看古來尊宿擔荷此事大不容易,J37nB392_p0604b28三登投子,九上洞山,長慶坐破七個蒲團,趙州二十J37nB392_p0604b29年不雜用心,不知費盡多少艱難,方得了明心地。即J37nB392_p0604b30如山僧二九脫白,知有此事,獨住孤峰,力參四載,出J37nB392_p0604c01山圓具,打七三日,纔得省發。遍叩知識二十餘員,盡J37nB392_p0604c02皆印可,具大眼目,不過一二。後參百老人於此弁山,J37nB392_p0604c03被他痛棒,連燈墮地,釋然大徹。隨呈偈云:『探遍諸方J37nB392_p0604c04最上機,何如直下絕離微?若非一擊連燈落,那得心J37nB392_p0604c05空及第歸?』輔弼老人一十三載,然後繼席青龍,至今J37nB392_p0604c06二十年來,七坐名藍,回思從前,如同一日。果是真正J37nB392_p0604c07道流,要明生死,棄著十年甘載,忘人忘我,全身放下,J37nB392_p0604c08靠著本色宗師,與之決擇。如磨古鏡,晝三夜三,盡其J37nB392_p0604c09神力,去其塵垢,光明發現,自是照天照地。如秉寶劍,J37nB392_p0604c10以寡敵眾,心無退怯,孰敢攖鋒?佛來也掃,魔來也掃,J37nB392_p0604c11掃得乾乾淨淨,自然灑灑落落。而此鏡此劍,乃吾人J37nB392_p0604c12本有之體,非假外求,外求而得,終非得也。大凡參學,J37nB392_p0604c13要得徹頭徹尾,直須喪盡目前機,去卻胸中物,末後J37nB392_p0604c14一著,始到牢關,絕後再蘇,欺君不得。到此境界,則全J37nB392_p0604c15心是佛,全佛是心,一人發真歸元,十方虛空悉皆銷J37nB392_p0604c16殞。諸公既不遠千里相尋而來,聚會龍華,皆是諸方J37nB392_p0604c17抱道之士。二六時中,切切窮究,佛法如海,愈入愈深,J37nB392_p0604c18只要實證實悟。於實證實悟處,靠定一著子,自然百J37nB392_p0604c19了千當,透頂透底,則成佛作祖,如壯士展臂,豈假他J37nB392_p0604c20力?否則,且待七月十五,卻來露個消息。」
