J37nB388_p0466b04昱林禪徒廣東募鑄千僧大鍋,到山啟建華嚴勝會,J37nB388_p0466b05巴陵張仲公開鍋齋僧,請上堂。「生鐵鑄成大器,廣南J37nB388_p0466b06源遠流長,一塵內有大經,剖出一真法界。無盡福德J37nB388_p0466b07藏,重重解脫門,彈指悉圓成,不費纖毫力。滿盤金牛J37nB388_p0466b08大飯,不勞香積擎來,八十一卷真詮,一一金春玉應。J37nB388_p0466b09於斯見得諦當,舉足下足無非華藏海,全體全用總J37nB388_p0466b10是舍那身,人人飽足觀光,各各得大受用。其或尚留J37nB388_p0466b11觀聽,試看巴陵檀越大有因緣,於此會中炊香表嚫,J37nB388_p0466b12借使善財寶藏器器皆盈,猶是當人身外物也。且道J37nB388_p0466b13如何是他極則?還委悉麼?五十三人咸在席,全身頓J37nB388_p0466b14入大毘盧。」
J37nB388_p0466b15長沙文學易九有請上堂。問:「明鏡當臺即不問,本來J37nB388_p0466b16面目請師宣。」師云:「日輪當午照,猶待曉雞啼。」進云:「千J37nB388_p0466b17僧幸集華嚴會,請師一句利群機。」師云:「山僧有口挂J37nB388_p0466b18壁。」乃云:「假使頂戴經塵劫,身為床座遍三千,若不傳J37nB388_p0466b19法度眾生,畢竟無能報恩者。三世諸佛無法可傳,此J37nB388_p0466b20處無銀三十兩;歷代祖師無生可度,俗人沽酒三升。J37nB388_p0466b21功不浪施即且置,不涉功勳一句又作麼生?一氣不J37nB388_p0466b22言含有象,萬靈何處謝無私?茲辰迺密弘居士飯僧J37nB388_p0466b23為子報恩,兼施血書華嚴經入山供奉,俾此會中知J37nB388_p0466b24識三七展演,一字一滴血,法施利無涯,未見者見、未J37nB388_p0466b25聞者聞、未度者令度,直得天龍寂聽而生歡、含識承J37nB388_p0466b26斯而普洽,傳法也、度生也、報恩也,又是錦上鋪花。若J37nB388_p0466b27是因齋慶讚,待諸人手中缽盂安箇柄來再向汝道。」
J37nB388_p0466b28師六旬,兩序慶祝請上堂。問:「如何是心地戒?」師云:「眼J37nB388_p0466b29中有翳須挑撥。」「如何是無相戒?」師云:「鏡上無塵不用J37nB388_p0466b30磨。」「如何是有相戒?」師便打。問:「寶華王座渴仰人天,向J37nB388_p0466c01上宗乘請師指示。」師云:「掃卻門前壒𡒁著。」乃云:「者箇J37nB388_p0466c02若是頭上安頭,丹青鈍置老僧繇;者箇不是斬頭覓J37nB388_p0466c03活,阿誰不具超方作?是醍醐,是毒藥,和羅一缽饌雲J37nB388_p0466c04堂,鼻孔人人盡穿卻。且道因誰致得?休向樽前唱鷓J37nB388_p0466c05鴣,座中儘有江南客。」
J37nB388_p0466c06新戒眾弟子請上堂。「為法檀度?為法戒度?優波離日J37nB388_p0466c07切冰競,碧眼胡一言不措,於事法界理上偏枯,於理J37nB388_p0466c08法界事上不足,直饒理事無礙、事事無礙,若到衲僧J37nB388_p0466c09門下總未可在。為甚如此?平蕪盡處是青山,行人更J37nB388_p0466c10在青山外。」
J37nB388_p0466c11會期滿散,湘陰陳令尹暨夫人飯僧,公子省凡居士J37nB388_p0466c12供法衣,上堂。問:「擊鼓陞堂行祖令,神峰施設又重新,J37nB388_p0466c13如何是重新底句?」師云:「連城何用重添彩?」進云:「一週J37nB388_p0466c14佛事今圓滿,再請一言轉法輪。」師云:「天錦何勞更著J37nB388_p0466c15花?」問:「如來禪祖師意拈向一邊,華嚴期毘尼戒撥置J37nB388_p0466c16一處,今日護法臨筵慶誕如何指示?」師云:「更待華鋪J37nB388_p0466c17錦上那?」進云:「千齡寶掌非堪羨,百二頭陀不足論,畢J37nB388_p0466c18竟和尚壽量多少?」師云:「切忌彫鐫。」進云:「踢翻花甲子,J37nB388_p0466c19海屋更添籌。」師云:「接竹點天。」問:「三七勝會斯晨畢,四J37nB388_p0466c20眾雲臻慶法筵,幾簇紫煙籠寶座,一輪杲日燦中天。J37nB388_p0466c21接物利生句且置,壽峰人境乞師宣。」師云:「玉樓人醉J37nB388_p0466c22杏花天。」進云:「庭前鳳竹竿竿秀,檻外虯松箇箇青,如J37nB388_p0466c23何是壽峰境?」師云:「不可節外生枝。」進云:「橫按莫邪揮J37nB388_p0466c24佛祖,倒拈白棒打人天,如何是壽峰人?」師云:「何得當J37nB388_p0466c25面諱?」進云:「人境已蒙師指示,向上還有事也無?」師云:J37nB388_p0466c26「無。」進云:「三角金烏子夜躍,八楞玉兔午天昇,未審神J37nB388_p0466c27通玅用法爾如然?」師云:「從教打瓦更鑽龜。」進云:「超今J37nB388_p0466c28越古惟師手,千聖還須立下風。」師云:「伶俐衲僧一撥J37nB388_p0466c29便轉。」進云:「謝師答話。」師便喝,乃拈衣示眾云:「還委悉J37nB388_p0466c30麼?三泛重溟傳得來,即此物非他物;老盧六傳而把J37nB388_p0467a01住,即此物非他物。傳來則壓良為賤,人人依舊赤骨J37nB388_p0467a02窮;把住則恩大難酬,箇箇短長無少剩。既無少剩,則J37nB388_p0467a03比比男子因甚伶俜辛苦向外馳求?今幸大心檀越J37nB388_p0467a04信手拈來,山僧持向人天眾前平等分付,還有欠少J37nB388_p0467a05者麼?若是陶淵明,攢眉便歸去。」
J37nB388_p0467a06道權法維那為母斷七,請小參。「昊天罔極,曷報劬勞?J37nB388_p0467a07深恩一念無生,頓脫糾纏之苦。如斯話會,蓋為曲順J37nB388_p0467a08時宜,藥病對治句,黃葉止兒啼,卻少者般毒氣不得。J37nB388_p0467a09為甚如此?不見道:本無有縛,何處求脫?直饒道箇生J37nB388_p0467a10死一如,縛脫不二,猶挂脣齒在。到者裏,母乘子力早J37nB388_p0467a11已超昇,子道成焉,殊不愧也。說甚蓼莪之章,望空啟J37nB388_p0467a12告,招魂紀夢,捕影勞形?其或未然,微雨灑花千點淚,J37nB388_p0467a13澹煙籠竹一堆愁。」
J37nB388_p0467a14福嵩中元會圓滿,九有易居士請陞座。居士問:「大矣J37nB388_p0467a15哉!甚奇特,空王欲使群生得。既是空王,得箇甚麼?」師J37nB388_p0467a16云:「料掉沒交涉。」進云:「光輝一萬八千土,土土皆作黃J37nB388_p0467a17金色,福嵩為甚又是土泥?」師云:「眼裏無筋一世貧。」進J37nB388_p0467a18云:「昔日孔子五十而知天命,古德又云:『先天地生不J37nB388_p0467a19為精,後天地死不為老。』和尚今歲大誕,二者何居?」師J37nB388_p0467a20云:「切忌打之遶。」進云:「中元普度,四眾臨筵,三途脫苦,J37nB388_p0467a21人天協慶,未審是一?是二?」師云:「玉女已歸霄漢去,不J37nB388_p0467a22須惆悵五更風。」進云:「如此則是棒頭指出無私旨,大J37nB388_p0467a23地俱沾雨露恩去也。」師云:「但自不忘羊,何須泣岐路?」J37nB388_p0467a24乃云:「百千結使釋何從?一句了然超百億。且道是甚J37nB388_p0467a25麼句?今此一會,七軸蓮經已展、十全懺法已修,了然J37nB388_p0467a26之句試拈出看。若謂言言見諦、句句超宗,未免瞞頇J37nB388_p0467a27佛性、儱侗真如,更道不在者兩頭,則違背靈文,獲罪J37nB388_p0467a28不淺。若也旨外明宗,不向言中取則,則諸人入息不J37nB388_p0467a29居陰界、出息不涉眾緣,常轉如是經百千萬億卷,非J37nB388_p0467a30但七卷、十卷,以此報本,無本不報;以此資冥,無一不J37nB388_p0467b01資。鑊湯爐炭吹教滅,劍樹刀山喝使摧。且道以何為J37nB388_p0467b02驗?聽取一偈:三度於茲振法筵,風行艸偃利無邊,年J37nB388_p0467b03來又得真消息,報道湘都有達賢。」
J37nB388_p0467b04師至大溈掃塔,當山堂頭翔長老率兩序耆舊請上J37nB388_p0467b05堂。「出山髮尚青,還家身已老,我猶昔人非昔人,大似J37nB388_p0467b06大蟲戴紙帽。諸上座!若為明辨昔非昔好?若謂昔自J37nB388_p0467b07是昔、今自是今,童髦容殊、觀河不改,只是箇定性聲J37nB388_p0467b08聞,有甚轉變之處?更道昔不異今、今不異昔,天上無J37nB388_p0467b09雙月、人間只一僧,愜認驢鞍橋作阿爺下頷。到者裏,J37nB388_p0467b10坐斷古今、全機展拓,不妨神鼎遇箇同參;其或未然,J37nB388_p0467b11君之西秦、我之東魯。然雖如是,幸有本山堂頭天翼J37nB388_p0467b12禪師,乃先師冢孫,山僧到來且喜風規靄著、龍象雍J37nB388_p0467b13容,豈可連城更加五彩?且道甚處見他標格?嫩桂香J37nB388_p0467b14清優缽水,一枝秀出玉芙蓉。」
J37nB388_p0467b15開爐,上堂。「寒則圍爐,熱則揮扇。天真佛內裏打坐,老J37nB388_p0467b16趙州卻不相賺。眼裏著不得,通身擔板臨河叫,渴底J37nB388_p0467b17堆堆無限。薦不薦,莫似青州棗子囫圇吞嚥,閻羅面J37nB388_p0467b18子青如靛。」
J37nB388_p0467b19冬夜,小參。「六陰今已伏,來日一陽生,便見碓嘴開花,J37nB388_p0467b20寒冰發燄,萬卉芬芳。從茲伊始,汝等諸人心華發明,J37nB388_p0467b21不妨應時及節。山僧恁麼告報,也是抑而為之。忽有J37nB388_p0467b22箇漢出來道:『能為萬象主,不屬四時推。又作麼生?』快J37nB388_p0467b23刀割肉渾閑事,惡口傷人恨爭消?」
J37nB388_p0467b24晚參。「心月孤圓,覆藏不得,謾云在天在水,再三撈摝,J37nB388_p0467b25方知撈摝不得。不撈而得,誰知一貫兩箇五百?設有J37nB388_p0467b26得,亦非真。要見真實處麼?」豎拂子,云:「分明月在梅花J37nB388_p0467b27上,看到梅花早已遲。」
J37nB388_p0467b28歲夜,小參。「古者道:『我若舉揚宗教,法堂前艸深一丈。』J37nB388_p0467b29呵呵!天下衲僧有眼腦者,爭肯向他艸窩裏沒頭沒J37nB388_p0467b30腦?神鼎從來舉揚宗教,直得大地無寸土。既無寸土,J37nB388_p0467c01諸人向甚處立地?果能無卓錐地、連錐也無,不妨洗J37nB388_p0467c02腳上船;其或未然,今朝臘月三十日,莫道無事好。」
J37nB388_p0467c03解制,小參。「百匝千重,入作不徹,何妨歇卻馳求?時節J37nB388_p0467c04若至,其理自彰,豈特將心待悟?一擊忘所知,一椎百J37nB388_p0467c05雜碎,一毫穿眾穴,一口吸西江,途路之樂終未到家,J37nB388_p0467c06見解入微不名見道。道!道!出門切忌埋荒艸。」
J37nB388_p0467c07臘八日,六休老宿遣徒孫簡仁登戒設齋,請上堂。「午J37nB388_p0467c08夜露寒星,瞿曇豁雙目。一根既還元,六處齊休復。奇J37nB388_p0467c09哉!今者資陽那邊大有人得其名、得其地,證此三昧,J37nB388_p0467c10于佳山秀水、臥月眠雲、火種刀耕受用不盡,使其徒J37nB388_p0467c11屬到此登壇納戒、揮金辦供、飽食雲堂,可謂別峰相J37nB388_p0467c12見也如水歸水,千里同風也似空合空。今則戒品已J37nB388_p0467c13具、請法已週,且道轉身就父一句又如何分付?還鄉J37nB388_p0467c14盡是兒孫事,祖父從來不出門。」
J37nB388_p0467c15結制,小參。「華不生空,枉翳病夫之目;禪非意想,演若J37nB388_p0467c16徒自迷頭。艸鞋走殺衲僧,蒲團坐殺長慶,山僧忍俊J37nB388_p0467c17不禁,重重劈腹剜心,喚回主人公,醒醒離窩臼。秪如J37nB388_p0467c18脫略窩臼又作麼生?咄!咄!咄!英雄豈落他人後?」
J37nB388_p0467c19小參。「夢裏拾黃金,阿誰用得著?衣中無價寶,何更受J37nB388_p0467c20孤窮?一鎚粉碎,不值分文,果能徹骨窮來,管取歸眾J37nB388_p0467c21穩坐。眾中莫有真實窮困者麼?窮則任窮,坐即任坐,J37nB388_p0467c22切忌臨河仍叫渴。」
J37nB388_p0467c23除夕,小參。「舊歲欲去,未去是誰去?新歲欲來,未來是J37nB388_p0467c24誰來?去來無朕跡,人自強安排。」驀拈拄杖,云:「山僧者J37nB388_p0467c25箇諸人作麼安排?是新?是舊?是去?是來?安排得出,則J37nB388_p0467c26能為萬象主,不屬四時推;安排不出,只知事逐眼前J37nB388_p0467c27過,不覺老從頭上來。」
J37nB388_p0467c28元旦,上堂。「三百六十朝,今日從頭起。循環歲歲同,歸J37nB388_p0467c29元性不二。恁麼會去,衲僧門下有甚交涉?山門頭合J37nB388_p0467c30掌沒交涉,佛殿裏澆香沒交涉,佛法商量沒交涉,世J37nB388_p0468a01諦流布沒交涉。有交涉,獅子嚬呻無畏音,機輪妙轉J37nB388_p0468a02風雷舌。」
J37nB388_p0468a03解制,小參。「結也,滴水滴凍;解也,瓦解冰消。尋常不結J37nB388_p0468a04不解,郎當頂笠腰包。更有一人不識好惡,把撩天拄J37nB388_p0468a05杖,跨三腳驢子,遶四天下,日行幾遭?阿呵呵,煞徒勞。」J37nB388_p0468a06卓拄杖,云:「何如者裏賦逍遙?」
J37nB388_p0468a07開爐,上堂。「南方來者與下載,鶴頸何能短?北方來者J37nB388_p0468a08與上載,鳧頸豈能長?神鼎不解續鳧截鶴、夷嶽盈壑,J37nB388_p0468a09只要平實商量。世界火爐闊狹即且置,火爐頭無賓J37nB388_p0468a10主話作麼生商量?擬議白雲千萬里,休嫌劈脊棒頭J37nB388_p0468a11長。」
J37nB388_p0468a12小參。問:「洞下正偏即不問,臨濟賓主請師宣。」師云:「沒J37nB388_p0468a13者閒工夫。」進云:「如何是賓中主?」師云:「汝好自薦取。」進J37nB388_p0468a14云:「如何是主中賓?」師云:「何因得出門?」進云:「如何是主J37nB388_p0468a15中主?」師云:「高著眼。」進云:「如何是賓中賓?」師云:「速退,速J37nB388_p0468a16退。」進云:「和尚道:『從門入者不是家珍。』為甚麼又勞明J37nB388_p0468a17日打七?」師云:「汝又覓甚麼碗?」進云:「如何是迷中悟?」師J37nB388_p0468a18便打。進云:「如何是悟中迷?」師又打。僧喝一喝,歸位。師J37nB388_p0468a19云:「強作主宰。」問:「明鏡當臺,照徹無私。且道:無陰陽地J37nB388_p0468a20作麼生照?」師云:「汝還具眼麼?」進云:「紅爐大冶,陶鑄聖J37nB388_p0468a21凡。如何是陶鑄聖凡底消息?」師云:「汝是塊頑鐵。」進云:J37nB388_p0468a22「作家宗師,口吞佛祖,眼蓋乾坤。且道:如何是蓋乾坤J37nB388_p0468a23底眼?」師云:「非汝境界。」進云:「涅槃心易曉,差別智難明。J37nB388_p0468a24如何是差別事?」師便打。僧云:「某甲從來疑著。」師復打,J37nB388_p0468a25云:「也少者棒不得。」乃云:「拶碎虛空撲落地,須是其人;J37nB388_p0468a26推倒銀山鐵壁時,還他好手。說甚疑團破也、紅線斷J37nB388_p0468a27也,推勘將來敗露現也、不敗也?豈容覿面逞瞞頇?要J37nB388_p0468a28見精金鎔大冶。」
J37nB388_p0468a29歲夜,小參。「有乘必除,有除復乘,日上月下,亙古亙今,J37nB388_p0468a30諸方老凍儂盡向此時分歲隨摟打摟庸,豈知河北J37nB388_p0468b01小廝兒驀忽晴空轟箇霹靂,直得虛空粉碎、大地平J37nB388_p0468b02沉,新舊歲君退身無路、進趣無門,是汝諸人還知有J37nB388_p0468b03者消息也無?若也未知,記取今朝臘月三十日。」
J37nB388_p0468b04元旦,立春,上堂。問:「新歲逢春即不問,佛法新令事如J37nB388_p0468b05何?」師云:「道泰不傳天子令,時清休唱太平歌。」進云:「大J37nB388_p0468b06地渾成銀色界,山河化作淨琉璃,且道即今是何祥J37nB388_p0468b07瑞?」師云:「換卻你眼睛。」問:「爆竹一聲催臘去,未審從甚J37nB388_p0468b08處去?」師云:「暖日爍開岩畔雪。」進云:「梅花幾點送春來,J37nB388_p0468b09未審從甚處來?」師云:「何山松柏不青青?」進云:「且道不J37nB388_p0468b10來不去時如何?」師云:「雲過樹頭溼。」乃云:「歲朝春,真罕J37nB388_p0468b11遇,百歲難逢,今朝愜爾,咸彰本有,靈光露布,劫初田J37nB388_p0468b12地不萌,枝上花開世界起,無影樹頭果滿菩提圓,且J37nB388_p0468b13道衲僧門下又成得甚麼邊事?」驀嚏聲,云:「春朝打嚏,J37nB388_p0468b14悉利悉利。」
J37nB388_p0468b15上元解制,余次軻齋僧,請上堂。問:「撾鼓陞堂即不問,J37nB388_p0468b16臨濟四喝請師宣。」師云:「山僧者裏一喝也無。」進云:「如J37nB388_p0468b17何是一喝如金剛王寶劍?」師云:「照顧頂門。」進云:「如何J37nB388_p0468b18是一喝如踞地獅子?」師便打。進云:「如何是一喝如探J37nB388_p0468b19竿影艸?」師云:「還知痛癢麼?」進云:「如何是一喝不作一J37nB388_p0468b20喝用?」師云:「且去,別時來。」進云:「四喝已蒙師指示,聖制J37nB388_p0468b21告圓事如何?」師云:「山門外領紙。」進云:「如何是他人住J37nB388_p0468b22處我不住?」師云:「無地頭漢。」進云:「如何是他人行處我J37nB388_p0468b23不行?」師云:「白雲萬里。」進云:「不住不行是如何?」師云:「莫J37nB388_p0468b24釘樁好。」問:「解制結制即不問,臨濟宗旨請師分。」師云:J37nB388_p0468b25「切忌打葛藤。」進云:「如何是第一玄?」師云:「袈裟搭左肩。」J37nB388_p0468b26進云:「如何是第二玄?」師云:「且站過一邊。」進云:「如何是J37nB388_p0468b27第三玄?」師云:「抱屈叫青天。」進云:「如何是第一要?」師便J37nB388_p0468b28喝。進云:「如何是第二要?」師云:「更要第二杓那?」進云:「如J37nB388_p0468b29何是第三要?」師云:「去!汝不會我語。」進云:「三玄三要蒙J37nB388_p0468b30師指,向上一著事如何?」師云:「且向下會取。」進云:「不到J37nB388_p0468c01座前申請益,徒聞千里有知音。」師云:「杓卜聽虛聲。」問:J37nB388_p0468c02「把住放行即不問,向上宗乘乞師指示。」師云:「一片白J37nB388_p0468c03雲橫谷口,幾多歸鳥盡迷窠。」進云:「如何是奪人不奪J37nB388_p0468c04境?」師云:「無汝出氣處。」進云:「如何是奪境不奪人?」師云:J37nB388_p0468c05「甚處與山僧相見?」進云:「如何是人境兩俱奪?」師云:「屍J37nB388_p0468c06橫遍野。」進云:「如何是人境俱不奪?」師云:「速禮三拜。」進J37nB388_p0468c07云:「高山流水調,今幸得欽聞。」師云:「切莫承虛。」問:「結制J37nB388_p0468c08即不問,解制事如何?」師云:「八字打開。」進云:「芒鞋生瑞J37nB388_p0468c09彩,缽袋起清風。」師云:「走殺闍黎。」進云:「寒風凜冽,雪雨J37nB388_p0468c10載途,如何是出門句?」師云:「照顧腳跟。」進云:「湘上清風J37nB388_p0468c11煖,人間淑氣增,未審神鼎道氣增了多少?」師云:「莫謗J37nB388_p0468c12神鼎好。」乃云:「老宿道:『親得離塵垢,子道方成就。』至哉J37nB388_p0468c13斯言!其奈土曠人稀,相逢者少。今者現前余次軻為J37nB388_p0468c14父披緇納戒,請法齋僧,是則子道成也,父心寬也,要J37nB388_p0468c15須知有向上一路始得。何謂也?燈月交輝,輝煌不夜,J37nB388_p0468c16爭如自己靈光?神仙秘訣,父子不傳,須信人人本有。J37nB388_p0468c17本有則日用不知,光明則面前有三尺之暗,者裏豁J37nB388_p0468c18開頂門正眼,高懸肘後靈符,高揖釋迦,不拜彌勒,自J37nB388_p0468c19然舉一明三,目機銖鎘,人人父母深恩,各各同時報J37nB388_p0468c20足。其或未然,新條細柳年年綠,惱亂春風卒未休。」
J37nB388_p0468c21佛誕日,李維則六旬薦親,請上堂。問云:「昔日世尊未J37nB388_p0468c22出母胎,度人已畢,還端的也無?」師云:「切忌訛言。」進云:J37nB388_p0468c23「纔生便指,天上下惟吾獨尊,還是神通玅用?是法爾J37nB388_p0468c24如然?」師云:「忍俊不禁。」進云:「後向雪山睹星悟道,未審J37nB388_p0468c25悟箇甚麼?」師云:「又是打之遶。」進云:「恁麼四七二三開J37nB388_p0468c26士,千七百箇古錐盡出,者箇圈圓不得。」師云:「蝦跳不J37nB388_p0468c27出斗。」便打。問:「㘞地一聲,塵剎國中垂玅相,且道今日J37nB388_p0468c28是有?是無?」師云:「風不來,樹不動。」進云:「週行七步,人間J37nB388_p0468c29天上獨稱尊,因甚和尚登法王座?」師云:「且莫謗山僧。」J37nB388_p0468c30進云:「秪如龍女獻珠得成佛道,居士獻供得箇甚麼?」J37nB388_p0469a01師云:「從來種荳不生麻。」問:「薰風滿院森森秀,夏日炎J37nB388_p0469a02炎落澗紅,四眾臨筵即不問,如何是神鼎境?」師云:「風J37nB388_p0469a03煖鳥聲碎。」進云:「龍蛇混雜,正眼難瞞,如何是境中人?」J37nB388_p0469a04師云:「拄杖絕疏親。」進云:「有語非千舌,無山不帶雲,如J37nB388_p0469a05何是人中境?」師云:「鷓鴣啼處百花香。」沙彌問:「第一義J37nB388_p0469a06諦即不問,五家宗旨請師宣。」師云:「你受戒來多少時J37nB388_p0469a07也?」進云:「暗淡雲迷千嶂景,長空風掃日輪生。如何是J37nB388_p0469a08洞上宗?」師云:「絲綿線密。」進云:「擊碎電光燒野火,須彌J37nB388_p0469a09撲倒釋天王。如何是臨濟宗?」師云:「霹靂掀轟。」進云:「鞭J37nB388_p0469a10起石人騎木馬,翻身撞破大虛空。如何是雲門宗?」師J37nB388_p0469a11云:「星移斗轉。」進云:「門裏輥毬機迅捷,梵僧機妙逞風J37nB388_p0469a12流。如何是溈仰宗?」師云:「圓相分明。」進云:「等閒擊碎非J37nB388_p0469a13非相,萬派朝宗到海門。如何是法眼宗?」師云:「蓋色騎J37nB388_p0469a14聲。」進云:「五宗已蒙師指示,當陽慶祝事如何?」師云:「五J37nB388_p0469a15戒也不持。」乃云:「毘藍園裏示生,忉利天宮展孝,母以J37nB388_p0469a16子而超升,子藉母而顯道。所謂輪轉三界中,恩愛不J37nB388_p0469a17能捨,棄恩入無為,真是報恩者。雖然,無為而無不為。J37nB388_p0469a18若是得底人,攪長河為酥酪,變大地作黃金,維摩香J37nB388_p0469a19積一盂而飽萬眾,金牛禪悅一桶供給無涯。且道是J37nB388_p0469a20有為耶?無為耶?者裏明辨端倪,則親恩、君恩報無餘J37nB388_p0469a21力,福也、壽也山海高深。正恁麼時,因齋慶讚追遠一J37nB388_p0469a22句又作麼生?一輪花甲週天運,上品蓮敷日正長。」
J37nB388_p0469a23瑞巖掃遠老人塔,眉山和尚率本山兩序大眾請上J37nB388_p0469a24堂。「開口成雙橛,無言落二三,叵耐相逢狹路,把住剛J37nB388_p0469a25要指南。呵呵!我先老人五坐道場,中興此山;弘覺師J37nB388_p0469a26翁親膺寵詔,對御談玄;密雲大祖撩天一棒,起臨濟J37nB388_p0469a27宗殃,累我同門諸兄於此繼席聯芳,一一金聲玉振,J37nB388_p0469a28指南一路,玅盡無餘。諸公尚留觀聽歟?又用神鼎置J37nB388_p0469a29喙其間,堪作甚麼?然雖如是,且道:山僧是指南耶?推J37nB388_p0469a30脫耶?開口耶?無言耶?者裏明辨端倪,先師靈骨猶尚J37nB388_p0469b01煖在。且道:神鼎意在於何?從前汗馬無人識,秪要重J37nB388_p0469b02論蓋代功。」
J37nB388_p0469b03明止上座請上堂。問:「香煙靉靆,瑞氣浮空,四眾臨筵,J37nB388_p0469b04請師指示。」師云:「靈龜無卦兆,空殼不勞鑽。」進云:「昔日J37nB388_p0469b05靈山說法,地湧金蓮;今朝神鼎陞堂,有何祥瑞?」師云:J37nB388_p0469b06「此地無金二兩。」進云:「恁麼則多少人錯過了也。」師打,J37nB388_p0469b07云:「你又作麼生領略?」進云:「即今登壇受戒,未審最初J37nB388_p0469b08一步作麼生進?」師云:「鷂子過新羅。」乃云:「常啼賣卻心J37nB388_p0469b09肝,求法得無所得;鳥窠吹起布毛,為人示無所示。示J37nB388_p0469b10無所示,則和盤托出;得無所得,則廓爾圓明。照盡體J37nB388_p0469b11無依,通身無影相,說甚止動歸止,止更彌動?如鐘在J37nB388_p0469b12虡,有扣則鳴;似鏡臨臺,物來斯照。用行含藏即且置,J37nB388_p0469b13秪如臨濟喫黃檗痛棒,因甚向大愚肋下還拳?早知J37nB388_p0469b14燈是火,飯熟許多時。」
J37nB388_p0469b15臘八,祖月彰侍者代其師時照禪德請上堂。問:「雪嶺J37nB388_p0469b16深居六載餘,忽開冷眼示天機,眾生德相分明後,滿J37nB388_p0469b17面慚惶付與誰?」師云:「知恩者少,負恩者多。」進云:「秪如J37nB388_p0469b18教中道:『一人發真歸元,十方虛空悉皆消殞。』正恁麼J37nB388_p0469b19時,喚什麼作眾生?」師云:「是你不唧溜。」進云:「靈光獨露,J37nB388_p0469b20迥脫根塵,又喚什麼作妄想執著?」師打云:「拋卻甜桃J37nB388_p0469b21棗,沿山摘醋梨。」問:「有相皆虛妄,無形本寂寥。秪如常J37nB388_p0469b22啼賣卻心肝,求法鳥窠吹起布毛,意旨如何?」師云:「一J37nB388_p0469b23串穿卻。」僧云:「夜半睹星寒徹骨,大千沙界放光明。」師J37nB388_p0469b24打,云:「杓卜聽虛聲。」乃云:「來此世界八千番,將謂忘卻;J37nB388_p0469b25及睹明星遭一跌,有屈難伸。致令歲歲今朝,戒品人J37nB388_p0469b26人具足。然此具足,何異從前負屈?須知坐斷兩頭,便J37nB388_p0469b27見超宗異目。何謂如此?蒼龍豈是池中物?」
J37nB388_p0469b28解制,晚參。「三冬瞬息過,那論鵝護雪?不是絕商量,有J37nB388_p0469b29句非千舌。樹倒自藤枯,燒盡閑枝葉。枝葉既盡,如何J37nB388_p0469b30識得根元好?若是鳳凰兒,豈向那邊討?」
J37nB388_p0469c01開爐,小參。問:「宗風一唱,萬里呈祥;法令當行,群機頓J37nB388_p0469c02赴。還是神通妙用,法爾如然?」師云:「曾問幾人來?」進云:J37nB388_p0469c03「世尊出世,法華會上三變淨土,和尚陞堂有何施設?」J37nB388_p0469c04師云:「為憐三歲子,不惜兩行眉。」進云:「秪如蠢動含靈J37nB388_p0469c05皆有佛性,為甚諸天人移置他方世界不覺不知?」師J37nB388_p0469c06云:「你何不唧溜?」僧擬議,師便打,乃云:「火燄轉法輪,地J37nB388_p0469c07爐煞親近,相對嘴盧都,何堪著耳聽?可憐無位人,永J37nB388_p0469c08處那伽定,一念萬斯年,殊不假修證。一句無主賓,豁J37nB388_p0469c09開心地印,擬議更思量,喪卻窮性命。」
J37nB388_p0469c10解制,小參。「把手牽人行不得,三遭瞎棒累黃檗,當時J37nB388_p0469c11未到折驢腰,負屈而今誰為雪?即今有為臨濟出氣J37nB388_p0469c12者,不枉神鼎相聚一冬。有麼?有麼?不是龍門客,切忌J37nB388_p0469c13遭點額。」
J37nB388_p0469c14結制,小參。「嵩山面壁,被人喚作壁觀;期限九旬,添得J37nB388_p0469c15一場熱鬧。然雖如是,河裏失錢河裏摝。若不揮劍,漁J37nB388_p0469c16父棲巢;若也眨上眉毛,莫怪打折驢腰。」
J37nB388_p0469c17甯帝咨施鐵鑄大鐘成,發聲請上堂。問:「金牛飯即不J37nB388_p0469c18問,廬陵不作麼價?」師云:「也是滯貨。」進云:「甯居士請和J37nB388_p0469c19尚陞座,設齋供眾,有何利益?」師云:「知恩者少,負恩者J37nB388_p0469c20多。」進云:「庭前生瑞艸,好事不如無。」師打,云:「也少你者J37nB388_p0469c21棒不得。」問:「簇錦攢花,諸方故套;斬釘截鐵,請師指示。」J37nB388_p0469c22師云:「面南看北斗。」進云:「秪如父母未生前那一段事J37nB388_p0469c23如何領會?」師云:「見之不取。」進云:「已生後又作麼生?」師J37nB388_p0469c24云:「思之千里。」僧云:「謝師指示。」師打,云:「杓卜聽虛聲。」問:J37nB388_p0469c25「未降皇宮,度人已畢。如何是度人已畢?」師云:「罕遇知J37nB388_p0469c26音。」進云:「秪如指天指地,如何獨自稱尊?」師云:「其奈雲J37nB388_p0469c27門何?」進云:「世尊成道與和尚上堂,是同?是別?」師云:「看J37nB388_p0469c28你分疏不下。」乃云:「名山大器喜圓成,大士全彰大法J37nB388_p0469c29身,日夕伽陀談不息,人天從此得圓聞。大眾還識大J37nB388_p0469c30士麼?應清淨身,示廣長舌,發馬祖大機,展百丈大用,J37nB388_p0470a01不獨靈山慶喜得證圓通,聲挂七條,飛騰天外,直得J37nB388_p0470a02方來衲子透徹頂門,含識等流同沾勝利,以及鐵圍J37nB388_p0470a03幽暗息苦停酸,天樂鏗鏘,天人鼓舞。今朝佛道已成,J37nB388_p0470a04勝緣已就,名山壯麗,千古典型。諸人得魚忘筌、得意J37nB388_p0470a05忘言即且置,即此殊勝之因,且道功歸何所?百福田J37nB388_p0470a06中親下種,從教百世福無涯。」
J37nB388_p0470a07除夕,小參。問:「暑往寒來,春秋易變,得何妙訣,不隨遷J37nB388_p0470a08改?」師云:「你因甚擔枷過狀?」進云:「秪如和尚除夕小參J37nB388_p0470a09又明甚麼邊事?」師云:「為你不唧溜。」進云:「三世諸佛還J37nB388_p0470a10有此事也無?」師打,云:「轉見沒交涉。」問:「一年十二月,月J37nB388_p0470a11月有三十,和尚為甚今晚小參?」師云:「眼若不睡,諸夢J37nB388_p0470a12自除。」進云:「十方同聚會,箇箇學無為。既是無為,和尚J37nB388_p0470a13小參又說箇甚麼?」師云:「領取鉤頭意。」進云:「秪如彌勒J37nB388_p0470a14在前,釋迦在後,二老還同鼻孔出氣也無?」師云:「莫認J37nB388_p0470a15定盤星。」僧禮拜,師便打。乃云:「古者道:『識得橙子,周匝J37nB388_p0470a16有餘。』又有道:『識得橙子,天地懸殊。』二大老:一人空拳J37nB388_p0470a17誑小兒,一人橫擔睦州板。」拈拄杖,云:「神鼎今當歲畢J37nB388_p0470a18之時,識得拄杖子,兩手分付。有麼?」卓一卓,云:「相逢不J37nB388_p0470a19遇調羹手,辜負梅花又一年。」
J37nB388_p0470a20解制,小參。問:「十五日已前,全暗中有全明;十五日已J37nB388_p0470a21後,全明中有全暗。如何是全明中有全暗?」師云:「虛空J37nB388_p0470a22無背面。」進云:「如何是全暗中有全明?」師云:「你也不妨J37nB388_p0470a23伶俐。」進云:「明暗兩忘俱坐斷,大千何處不風流?」師云:J37nB388_p0470a24「實即得。」進云:「祖月凌空圓聖智,何山松柏不青青?」師J37nB388_p0470a25云:「閑言語。」乃云:「剋期告竣,八字打開,各各眉橫鼻直,J37nB388_p0470a26相將涉盡疑猜,道吾咬破手指,巖頭三搭不回,寶山J37nB388_p0470a27親到仍空手,千里翻言賺我來。」
J37nB388_p0470a28結制,小參。「循環暑往寒來,何似無寒暑處?三千里外J37nB388_p0470a29賣卻布單,九十日中豈更辜負?內不放出,外不放入,J37nB388_p0470a30聲色裏睡眠復是何物?若謂有理難伸,切忌抱贓叫J37nB388_p0470b01屈。」
J37nB388_p0470b02臘八日,新戒弟子等請上堂。「大眾!還知釋迦老子今J37nB388_p0470b03日事麼?阿僧祗劫得來,一睹明星喪卻,說甚智慧德J37nB388_p0470b04相?總是妄想執著。諸方把墨順朱,神鼎應病下藥,不J37nB388_p0470b05是盡法無民,只要掀翻海嶽,從教忤逆聞雷,體取紅J37nB388_p0470b06旗閃爍。正恁麼時,且道甚處見他端的?鸞鳳衝霄跡J37nB388_p0470b07莫留,還他擺斷黃金索。」
J37nB388_p0470b08除夕,小參。「去年窮,今年窮,來年窮,果然窮徹骨,應不J37nB388_p0470b09枉施工。去年富,今年富,來年富,網底適遊魚,龍門若J37nB388_p0470b10為度?雖然,要富則易,要窮則難,眾中有真窮者,山僧J37nB388_p0470b11熱炙盞子與他分歲。有麼?」良久,云:「洎不問過。」
J37nB388_p0470b12燈節,解制,小參。「剋期有解有結,月面忽圓忽缺,但能J37nB388_p0470b13不屬愛憎,此事洞然明白。老僧不在明白裏,那問人J37nB388_p0470b14問燈與月?今宵風雨晦瞑,切忌撞頭磕額。」
J37nB388_p0470b15結制,小參。舉:「德山小參不答話,問話者三十棒。時有J37nB388_p0470b16僧出眾,山便打,僧云:『學人話也未問,因甚就打?』山云:J37nB388_p0470b17『你是甚處人?』僧云:『新羅人。』山云:『你未跨船舷,好與三J37nB388_p0470b18十棒。』大眾!若也識得德山棒頭落處,九十日內坐致J37nB388_p0470b19太平,自己工夫省卻多少心力;若也未識,不但最苦J37nB388_p0470b20是新羅,諸人從今喫棒未有了日,莫道無事好。畢竟J37nB388_p0470b21如何?雖然舊閣閒田地,一度贏來方始休。」
J37nB388_p0470b22解制,小參。問:「解制因由則且置,德山不答話,問話者J37nB388_p0470b23三十棒,且道意在於何?」師云:「逢人青眼少。」進云:「者僧J37nB388_p0470b24方出,德山便打,且道是縱也?奪也?」師云:「問路白雲多。」J37nB388_p0470b25進云:「秪如未跨船舷,因甚先喫三十棒?」師云:「水底金J37nB388_p0470b26烏天上日。」進云:「恁麼則劈開華嶽連大秀,放出溪流J37nB388_p0470b27作大用。」即忙然遁入眾,師云:「有棒不打死漢。」乃云:「有J37nB388_p0470b28取有放,屈順時宜;能屈能伸,道人活計。臨濟挨三頓,J37nB388_p0470b29有屈莫能伸;百丈扭鼻頭,堪悲亦堪笑。是你諸人如J37nB388_p0470b30何明他屈伸、見他悲笑處?要知麼?風搏玅翅騰霄遠,J37nB388_p0470c01電激飛龍浪潑天。」
