小參:「南泉一日不赴堂侍者請之泉云:『老僧今日J33nB280_p0282a04在庄上喫油餈飽。』侍者云:『和尚不曾出入。』泉云:『汝去J33nB280_p0282a05問取庄主。』侍者纔出門見庄主來言:『謝和尚到庄上J33nB280_p0282a06喫油餈。』汝等諸人作麼生會遮公案聻?」眾無對師云J33nB280_p0282a07汝等既然不會山僧為汝判斷去也南泉既稱一方J33nB280_p0282a08大善知識不合偏眾到庄上喫東西好與二十棒J33nB280_p0282a09主不合將常住物背地做人情也與二十棒雖然J33nB280_p0282a10首者免罪叵耐油嘴瞞人這二十棒一棒也較不得J33nB280_p0282a11山僧斷事雖公病軀偏眾有分也該喫十九棒留一J33nB280_p0282a12棒與你們大眾同契何故君子愛財取之有道。」

四月盡日小參師垂問云:「今日城裏曆本月大鄉下J33nB280_p0282a25曆本月小且道依那箇曆本即是若道此是世間日J33nB280_p0282a26此人未具眼在。」冰崖云:「神鼎別是一家風。」師云:「J33nB280_p0282a27帶重輪。」晃孚云:「若是久經行陣者不妨一箭落雙鵰。」J33nB280_p0282a28師云:「只知銕脊撐天不覺腦門著地。」又僧云:「直得無J33nB280_p0282a29開口處。」師云:「蹉過路頭也不知。」乃云:「你們與麼答話J33nB280_p0282a30多是向父母未生前處撈摸山僧開口便為諸人道J33nB280_p0282b01破了也及至打亂六十花甲子時便茫無措手處J33nB280_p0282b02須將父母未生前斬為三段父母既生後拋向萬仞J33nB280_p0282b03深坑神鼎有箇轉身句子布施諸人。」驀卓拄杖:「J33nB280_p0282b04來群木響雨過萬山青。」

小參:「雲峰悅初參大愚芝芝上堂云:『大家相聚喫J33nB280_p0282b06莖虀若喚作一莖虀入地獄如箭射。』便下座悅詣方J33nB280_p0282b07丈求示芝云:『我忍饑不暇那有工夫為汝說禪你且J33nB280_p0282b08去化米。』悅化米歸又求示芝云:『我忍凍不暇那有工J33nB280_p0282b09夫為汝說禪且化炭去。』悅化歸復求示芝云:『今堂司J33nB280_p0282b10乏人煩汝充維那。』悅氣悶而退坐後寮見桶子落地J33nB280_p0282b11撲破遂大悟頓見芝用處即詣方丈芝見便合掌云J33nB280_p0282b12恭喜維那大事了畢。』應菴祖云:『好語要且無來處J33nB280_p0282b13人辨得出與他一兩金。』」師呵呵笑云:「三箇虛頭老漢J33nB280_p0282b14好各與二十棒何故不合將常住物入衣線下用。」

結制小參:「雲門道:『法身有三種病二種光若人透J33nB280_p0282b16始解歸家穩坐。』後來佛眼禪師又云:『龍門這裏只J33nB280_p0282b17有二種病一者騎牛覓牛二者騎牛了不肯下。』古人J33nB280_p0282b18雖則種種曲垂方便爭奈後人依然錯會神鼎今日J33nB280_p0282b19更為汝諸人點出二種大病源有一種人見山便喚J33nB280_p0282b20作山見水便喚作水色空明暗便喚作色空明暗J33nB280_p0282b21是一種大病有一種人見山不喚作山見水不喚作J33nB280_p0282b22色空明暗不喚作色空明暗此亦是一種大病J33nB280_p0282b23病交攻輪轉生死諸人若欲透脫生死病源直須向J33nB280_p0282b24東西十萬南北八千處具啐啄同時機用來然後向J33nB280_p0282b25神鼎手中請棒喫。」喝一喝

病起小參。「山僧一病二十餘日不惟世間醫生奈何J33nB280_p0282b27不得扁鵲華陀亦奈何不得十方諸佛竭盡神通亦J33nB280_p0282b28奈何不得何故以山僧此病無稜無罅無可奈何故J33nB280_p0282b29若能如是見得是為真實善病陀羅尼門。」驀豎如意J33nB280_p0282b30:「還會麼如意子眼蓋乾坤胸藏北斗饑時與一切J33nB280_p0282c01人同饑飽時與一切人同飽病時與一切人同病J33nB280_p0282c02時與一切人同安究竟出山僧手裏不得還會麼?」J33nB280_p0282c03:「長安夜夜家家月幾處笙歌幾處愁?」

八月盡日小參召大眾云:「汝等大開了眼看看面前J33nB280_p0282c05是箇什麼道理莫只管打瞌睡瞌睡時眼在什麼處J33nB280_p0282c06還見物也無若道不見與死人無別還有向這裏道J33nB280_p0282c07得一句子者麼?」侍者云:「不離當處常湛然覓即知伊J33nB280_p0282c08不可見。」師云:「未在。」者云:「乞和尚代一語。」師云:「何不道J33nB280_p0282c09明時不見暗時明?」眾禮拜

病起小參。「山僧臥疾在床和盤托出無端要我J33nB280_p0282c11披衣指示指箇什麼?」豎如意:「還會麼晚學初機J33nB280_p0282c12得是藥不會是病久參禪客不會是藥會得是病J33nB280_p0282c13山僧今日恁麼病還落會與不會也無有人向這J33nB280_p0282c14裏透得與你如意子歸堂。」一僧進云:「衲被蒙頭萬事J33nB280_p0282c15此時學人都不會。」師云:「恁麼會即不無達磨一宗J33nB280_p0282c16掃土而盡山僧索性施大慈悲為你說破。」豎如意J33nB280_p0282c17拈起須彌別處舂腰纏十萬楊州客。」喝一喝

冬至小參僧問:「時臨亞歲即不問節屆書雲事若何?」J33nB280_p0282c19師云:「到江吳地盡隔岸越山多。」進云:「只如古人道:『J33nB280_p0282c20中無曆日寒盡不知年。』又作麼生?」師云:「切忌向死灰J33nB280_p0282c21裏作活計。」進云:「有水皆含月無山不帶雲。」師云:「猶隔J33nB280_p0282c22一重關。」乃云:「群陰剝盡一陽來復天網恢恢現而不J33nB280_p0282c23燄發冰河花抽枯木無非向聲色未彰前指出J33nB280_p0282c24諸人本來面目透得者平步丹霄遲疑者自招汩沒J33nB280_p0282c25拈了也咄咄咄現前買賣著精神出門不認前頭物J33nB280_p0282c26還有見徹淵源者麼?」良久:「參退喫茶。」

小參:「普眼菩薩欲見普賢不可得見乃至三度入J33nB280_p0282c28遍觀三千大千世界覓普賢菩薩不可得見而來J33nB280_p0282c29白佛佛云:『汝但于靜三昧中起一念便見普賢。』于是J33nB280_p0282c30普眼纔起一念便見普賢菩薩向空中乘六牙白象。」J33nB280_p0283a01師云:「世尊何用繁詞若是神鼎見他來白便向他道J33nB280_p0283a02穿卻了也。』普眼若向這裏瞥地也不作箇循行數基J33nB280_p0283a03。」眾禮拜

小參舉開口也打不開口也打話:「還有透得者麼J33nB280_p0283a05試出來道看。」僧出:「花須連夜發莫待曉風吹。」師云J33nB280_p0283a06你那裏學這虛頭來?」僧云:「今日特蒙和尚入室。」J33nB280_p0283a07:「亂統。」乃云:「先生無口訓童蒙開口閉口丘乙J33nB280_p0283a08有箇漢走出來道:『先生先生上大人為什麼不念?』」J33nB280_p0283a09起如意:「相見又無事不來還憶君。」眾禮拜

小參:「東印土國王請般若多羅尊者齋諸尊者皆J33nB280_p0283a11轉經惟般若尊者靜坐王問:『尊者何故獨不轉經?』J33nB280_p0283a12:『貧道入息不居陰界出息不隨眾緣常轉如是經J33nB280_p0283a13百千萬億卷。』大溈智和尚拈云:『要識尊者看經處麼J33nB280_p0283a14行時腳跟不著地坐時心識似風飄。』復頌云:『秋高月J33nB280_p0283a15色和雲白淡泊禪心滋味長歷歷分明今古意何須J33nB280_p0283a16特地更商量?』」師云:「大溈恁麼拈也拈得好頌也頌得J33nB280_p0283a17若據神鼎看來五步雖活七步須死還有見徹者J33nB280_p0283a18山僧親奉一鐘茶他溼口。」

除夕小參。「十方無壁落四面亦無門為什麼有新年J33nB280_p0283a20舊歲?」覺還云:「年年此日歲歲今朝。」師云:「老鼠含銕。」J33nB280_p0283a21孚云:「疑殺天下人。」師云:「客路如天遠。」鏡公云:「一坑埋J33nB280_p0283a22。」師云:「埋個什麼?」進云:「不用別求。」師云:「蝦跳不出斗。」J33nB280_p0283a23乃掉拂子:「神鼎焰中薦得換卻頭顱諸方隊裏商J33nB280_p0283a24穿將鼻孔冰鎖曹溪寒水雪埋少室峰頭到這裏J33nB280_p0283a25須知有轉身一路始得山僧初住一箇破院百無一J33nB280_p0283a26雖則勉強支持二時薄粥與你同餐從來不許諸J33nB280_p0283a27人粘牙帶齒不知此意者往往錯怪山僧道:『看看J33nB280_p0283a28月三十日到來了也拶到結角羅紋去處J33nB280_p0283a29又無看遮老漢如何支遣?』殊不知半月春來依舊冷J33nB280_p0283a30諸人徒自錯商量快須努力全提去莫戀空懷枉退J33nB280_p0283b01。」喝一喝

打七小參。「安禪結制是畫地為牢五熱焚身癡漢J33nB280_p0283b03難為佇足長期百日短制七辰短中有長長中有短J33nB280_p0283b04延千劫為一念諸人分上了不曾增促千劫於剎那J33nB280_p0283b05諸人分上了不曾減無增無減海口難宣把住放行J33nB280_p0283b06都盧只在山僧手裏還會麼?」離微云:「野老不知堯舜J33nB280_p0283b07鼕鼕打鼓祭江神。」師云:「道則只恁道卻作麼生會?」J33nB280_p0283b08進云:「一翳在眼空華亂墜。」師云:「轉見不堪。」僧云:「J33nB280_p0283b09空任鳥飛。」師云:「作麼生是天空的消息?」進云:「步步無J33nB280_p0283b10蹤跡。」師云:「依舊跳不出。」乃拈如意:「萬煆爐中銕蒺J33nB280_p0283b11洗腸換骨更深錐不是山僧爐鞴烈為憐大海限J33nB280_p0283b12涔蹄。」喝一喝

開荒田小參。「舉一不得舉二放過一著落在第二。」J33nB280_p0283b14如意:「如意分明不覆藏遲疑特地成妖惑神鼎山J33nB280_p0283b15荒田盈陌大小方圓七四八凸普請諸人大家開J33nB280_p0283b16耕時耕覈時覈栽時栽獲時穫大家喫得飽膨脝J33nB280_p0283b17鼓腹高歌待彌勒。」

小參:「昔日溈山和尚見仰山自外歸問云:『那裏來?』J33nB280_p0283b19仰云:『田中來。』溈山云:『田中多少人?』仰插鍬叉手而立J33nB280_p0283b20溈山云:『南山大有人刈茅。』仰拔鍬肩之便出你看他J33nB280_p0283b21父子等閑一挨一拶耀古輝今透得者钁頭邊立地J33nB280_p0283b22成佛有分如或未然更聽一頌仰山插鍬叉手立J33nB280_p0283b23不是兮馬不成一句南山重著楔清風千古震乾坤。」J33nB280_p0283b24擊如意一下

小參:「僧問雲門:『弒父弒母佛前懺悔弒佛弒祖時J33nB280_p0283b26向什麼處懺悔?』雲門云:『。』」師云:「雲門著一轉語直得J33nB280_p0283b27驚天動地神鼎今日更為兩彩一賽只是不得錯會。」J33nB280_p0283b28以如意打圓相:「東嶺下左邊的。」

小參:「三祖信心銘:『欲取一乘勿惡六塵六塵不J33nB280_p0283b30還同正覺智者無為愚人自縛法無異法妄自愛J33nB280_p0283c01將心用心豈非大錯?』」師云:「大小祖師說得好道理J33nB280_p0283c02只如汝等諸人明明有雙眼又何曾見色明明有雙J33nB280_p0283c03又何曾聞聲於此薦得江西人喫飯浙江人肚脹J33nB280_p0283c04關他湖廣人什麼事雖然如是滴水寸絲畢竟瞞東J33nB280_p0283c05震旦國人不得。」喝一喝

小參僧問:「龐居士問馬祖:『不與萬法為侶者是什麼J33nB280_p0283c07?』祖云:『待汝一口吸盡西江水即向汝道。』請問和尚J33nB280_p0283c08如何是不與萬法為侶底人?」師云:「家無小使不成君J33nB280_p0283c09。」進云:「一口吸盡西江水又作麼生?」師云:「不癡不聾J33nB280_p0283c10不作大家翁。」進云:「居士豁然大悟:『十方同聚會J33nB280_p0283c11箇學無為此是選佛場心空及第歸。』作麼生是選佛J33nB280_p0283c12?」師云:「門傾壁倒。」進云:「如何是及第歸?」師云:「科頭赤J33nB280_p0283c13。」僧禮拜師云:「此四轉語有一轉天高地厚有一轉J33nB280_p0283c14曲為今時有一轉烹佛烹祖若有人辨得許伊四威J33nB280_p0283c15儀中得箇入處。」

小參。「我看你們終日做工夫究竟只在三句裏作活J33nB280_p0283c17作麼生是三句有句無句不有不無句死句活句J33nB280_p0283c18不死不活句乃至一切法皆有如此三句都是你的J33nB280_p0283c19兒孫你無端自作纏繞殊不知日間挑谷時種田時J33nB280_p0283c20掘地時煮茶時喫飯時那時佛也覓你不見還會麼J33nB280_p0283c21不用思量便薦取去豈不省力所以山僧向你道:『J33nB280_p0283c22口也打不開口也打。』到這裏間不容髮自是你搆不J33nB280_p0283c23又作了箇話頭參將去也大可憐如今還有撒手J33nB280_p0283c24者麼了則東西南北不了者莫怪山僧。」眾禮拜

小參:「經偈云:『如心佛亦爾如佛眾生然心佛及眾J33nB280_p0283c26是三無差別。』無差別且置畢竟喚什麼作心作佛J33nB280_p0283c27又喚什麼作眾生聻?」眾無對師云:「教中又道:『心佛無J33nB280_p0283c28內外亦不住中間畢竟無方所意言假安立心佛既J33nB280_p0283c29假立眾生亦復然。』且問諸人眾生既不可得J33nB280_p0283c30切事業乃至若古若今世出世間一切聖凡境界豈J33nB280_p0284a01是有耶世出世間四生六道情與無情皆不可得J33nB280_p0284a02又出世祖又西來為個什麼還有下得一轉語者麼?」J33nB280_p0284a03離微云:「為憐三歲子不惜兩莖眉。」師云:「道則道猶隔J33nB280_p0284a04山僧十日在。」晃孚云:「富嫌千日少貧患一身多。」師云J33nB280_p0284a05猶是那邊事。」孚云:「畢竟如何?」師舉如意云:「腰纏十萬J33nB280_p0284a06騎鶴下楊州。」喝一喝

小參:「趙州示眾云:『不得閒過念佛念法念僧。』時有J33nB280_p0284a08僧便出問云:『如何是學人自?』州云:『念者是誰?』J33nB280_p0284a09:『無伴。』州叱云:『這驢!』你看他兩箇漢驀劄相逢拳來J33nB280_p0284a10腳去毫無縫罅著著靈彰後來大慧禪師拈云:『這僧J33nB280_p0284a11雖然無伴成群作隊攪亂殺人趙州大好一頭驢J33nB280_p0284a12是不會喫艸。』」師豎如意云:「是真精進是名真法供養J33nB280_p0284a13如來雖然如是知恩者少負恩者多。」

小參。「汝等好生看取莫被人瞞卻者箇時節若是西J33nB280_p0284a15來大意山僧近日脾瀉病發沒氣力為汝說得。」離微J33nB280_p0284a16:「狼藉不少。」師云:「也許你識些臭氣。」復云:「還有麼?」J33nB280_p0284a17無語師云:「禮拜了退。」

小參。「汝等從朝至夕也須檢點那裏是虛度處那裏J33nB280_p0284a19是不虛度處汝纔作意時虛度時光了也不作J33nB280_p0284a20意時一一靈妙一一天真鋤地的鋤地收禾的收禾J33nB280_p0284a21乃至煮茶飯辦柴米時不可問人是禪是道是會J33nB280_p0284a22若向者裏見得徹去佛眼也覷你不見無端會禪J33nB280_p0284a23會道被人拶著便見忘前失後虛度時光只為有個J33nB280_p0284a24會處橫在胸中見我豎起拄杖時便作覿面提持會J33nB280_p0284a25見我放下拄杖時便作掃蹤除跡會乃至一切處無J33nB280_p0284a26不是遮箇會種種摶量難以悉舉大似田夫灶婦將J33nB280_p0284a27三五升米搗頓餈粑喫了自謂飽足反笑他富貴人J33nB280_p0284a28食前方丈百味珍饈為分外者耳所以乾峰道:『法身J33nB280_p0284a29有三種病二種光若人一一透過始解歸家穩坐。』J33nB280_p0284a30門出眾云:『菴內人為什麼不知菴外事?』乾峰呵呵大J33nB280_p0284b01你看他兩箇相見何曾有絲毫縫罅與人如今長J33nB280_p0284b02年竟月只是求解會如何出得蘊界生死大眾仔細J33nB280_p0284b03莫虛度時光好。」

小參:「《華嚴偈云:『若人欲識真空體身內真如還遍J33nB280_p0284b05情與無情共一體處處皆同真法界。』」拈拂子云:「J33nB280_p0284b06是山僧拂子真法界在什麼處?」師普云:「萬古長空J33nB280_p0284b07朝風月。」師云:「釣龍得鱉。」又僧云:「分明月在梅華上J33nB280_p0284b08到梅華早。」師云:「何得干戈相待?」乃擲下拂子云J33nB280_p0284b09劍為不平離寶匣藥因救病出金瓶。」

小參垂語云:「汝等日裏東去西去搬柴刈穀時還出J33nB280_p0284b11得這片田地也無?」一僧云:「舉目相看無向背道人行J33nB280_p0284b12處任施為。」師云:「正在窠臼裏。」進云:「和尚又作麼生?」J33nB280_p0284b13:「不禮三拜更待何時?」僧無語師舉:「睦州喚僧僧回J33nB280_p0284b14州云:『擔板漢。』人多向不容思議處錯會他睦州J33nB280_p0284b15什麼交涉殊不知睦州老人如紅爐上著一點雪相J33nB280_p0284b16還見麼?」眾佇思師云:「開口早知千萬里低頭思慮J33nB280_p0284b17萬重關喫茶去。」

小參。「古人道:『參學須具參學眼若不具參學眼總被J33nB280_p0284b19曲彔床上老漢舌頭瞞將去不是小事。』只如諸人俱J33nB280_p0284b20到神鼎豈不是為參學作麼生是你們的參學眼J33nB280_p0284b21得請充第一座少分相應者充維那。」六出云:「風吹碧J33nB280_p0284b22落白雲盡月上青山玉一團。」師云:「且喜認得驢鞍橋J33nB280_p0284b23作阿爺下頷。」素融云:「海闊從魚躍天空任鳥飛。」師云J33nB280_p0284b24射虎不真徒勞沒羽。」師普云:「猿抱子歸青嶂裏鳥銜J33nB280_p0284b25花落碧崖前。」師云:「餿飯泥茶爐。」普云:「和尚又作麼生?」J33nB280_p0284b26師云:「何不道趙州古佛?」良久:「還知神鼎舌頭落處J33nB280_p0284b27若也覷得透不但可充神鼎第一座自己腳跟下J33nB280_p0284b28亦得受用。」眾不散師復云:「山僧忍俊不禁索性為汝J33nB280_p0284b29頌出趙州古佛七拗八突方中有方曲中有曲。」乃拈J33nB280_p0284b30拄杖欲出眾禮拜而退

小參。「山僧近日得一番大病飲食無味身體黃瘦J33nB280_p0284c02們合寺大眾盡替山僧著忙山僧亦替大眾著忙J33nB280_p0284c03忙到著忙不得處莫道世醫拱手即使大醫王到來J33nB280_p0284c04也則計較不得是故噯呀噯呀底千疼萬痛裏而眾J33nB280_p0284c05苦不能到如斯見得雖然病而無病到這裏始是半J33nB280_p0284c06更須知有全提時節然後始可向四生三有內點J33nB280_p0284c07病為藥說藥為病喚維摩掃榻差普賢鋪床用文殊J33nB280_p0284c08煎藥倒用橫拈皆為大病源三昧只如山僧這番病J33nB280_p0284c09還是大病三昧也無若道是三昧不是三昧敢保諸J33nB280_p0284c10人三家村裏老婆禪也未夢見在。」

小參。「山僧雖則久病不曾落堂然無時不為諸人說J33nB280_p0284c12諸人若善用心又何必向病僧言句中覓直須向J33nB280_p0284c13聖凡用力不及處參取如人飲水冷煖自知不是自J33nB280_p0284c14欺的事不見睦州道:『汝等諸人未得個入處須得箇J33nB280_p0284c15入頭處既得箇入頭處不得辜負老僧。』時有僧出云J33nB280_p0284c16學人不敢辜負和尚。』州云:『辜負了也。』僧無語J33nB280_p0284c17:『明明向道尚自不會何況蓋覆將來?』宗師眼目須J33nB280_p0284c18是如此如今人聞恁麼話盡向言句中會去幾時夢J33nB280_p0284c19見古人意旨所以山僧尋常向諸人道:『開口也打J33nB280_p0284c20開口也打。』須是大死一番脫卻業識來始知山僧真J33nB280_p0284c21實為人處如今做工夫如脫衣服相似脫去了一層J33nB280_p0284c22走將進來山僧便認得你乃至層層脫盡到赤條條J33nB280_p0284c23那時正好來喫三十大棒若喫得這三十大棒J33nB280_p0284c24下人不奈伊何各自歸堂恭喜賀喜。」
