小參掉拂子:「古人道:『道不虛行遇緣則應理無二J33nB280_p0277b04去住因時。』昔四祖補衲此山後人因成叢社去去J33nB280_p0277b05實不去今日山僧承眾護法之請曳杖到來來來實J33nB280_p0277b06不來。」拈拄杖卓一下:「久參上士便合乘時困濼止J33nB280_p0277b07徒勞激浪。」

結制小參按拄杖:「未結制前一任諸人橫衝直撞J33nB280_p0277b09東去西來既結制後把斷要津不通消息而今正在J33nB280_p0277b10未結之間汝等諸人并十方凡聖草木叢林命J33nB280_p0277b11如懸絲俱在山僧手裏還有出得者麼?」僧問:「祖令初J33nB280_p0277b12續四祖千年遺唱即今座下誰是知音?」師云:「無眼J33nB280_p0277b13意者。」進云:「恁麼則一音演暢眾德攸聞去J33nB280_p0277b14。」師云:「聞底事作麼生?」進云:「今古迥超圓智體滿筵J33nB280_p0277b15目擊更無私。」師云:「閑言語。」進云:「和尚把關大煞。」師云J33nB280_p0277b16三十棒且待別時。」:「向上關捩千聖不傳一涉言詮J33nB280_p0277b17便落遮畔如何是那畔底消息?」師云:「你在遮畔多少J33nB280_p0277b18時也?」進云:「今朝覿面無私。」師云:「猶隔一重山。」僧便喝J33nB280_p0277b19師打:「還要強作主宰在。」乃云:「覿面全提向上向下J33nB280_p0277b20遮畔那畔無相無名恁麼見解是諸方普請會底J33nB280_p0277b21提門下許伊擔屎有分且道菩提有什麼長處便恁J33nB280_p0277b22麼道蓋為諸人未達其源一向在陰界中學得一堆J33nB280_p0277b23一擔蘊在八識田中將古人竭力為人處不是渾圇J33nB280_p0277b24吞棗便邪知謬解妄用妄談迷惑無知害豈有極J33nB280_p0277b25僧遮裏並無些子佛法玄妙為汝諸人亦不會攢華J33nB280_p0277b26簇錦四六文章語句尖新逞奇弄巧汝等若要學遮J33nB280_p0277b27卻請諸方去山僧者裏只是論實不論虛今當結J33nB280_p0277b28制之始與你們約法三章第一不得按牛喫草第二J33nB280_p0277b29不得竿木逢場第三不得穩坐平地透脫三重關J33nB280_p0277b30得胸次中空裸裸地然後向遮裏看箇話頭開口也J33nB280_p0277c01不開口也打不得向意根下卜度不得向舉起處J33nB280_p0277c02承當不得坐在無事甲裏不得乍寒乍熱忽朝桶底J33nB280_p0277c03打穿管取呵呵大笑且道笑箇什麼?」喝一喝

小參。「今朝六月初十日禪人設齋請小參雨聲徹骨J33nB280_p0277c05分明說何必山僧強指南且道說底是世法是佛法J33nB280_p0277c06有等麤心漢子便謂即世法便是佛法又如何是你J33nB280_p0277c07即底世法聻世法不明佛法太遠在還會麼不是僧J33nB280_p0277c08繇手徒說會丹青。」喝一喝復舉:「長沙岑大蟲云:『我若J33nB280_p0277c09一向舉揚宗教法堂前艸深一丈倩人看院始得。』J33nB280_p0277c10斯舉唱未當宗乘若是山僧則不然盡大地無寸土J33nB280_p0277c11更須喫我三十棒何以故聲鯨吞海水盡露出珊J33nB280_p0277c12瑚枝。」擊香几下座

師誕日生癤子小參師云:「今日乃是山僧母難之辰J33nB280_p0277c14多承眾護法得得遠來為祝生日且道山僧果是今J33nB280_p0277c15日生耶不是今日生耶若道山僧是今日生即山河J33nB280_p0277c16大地情與無情無不是今日生還知麼如或未然J33nB280_p0277c17為說箇樣子指箇路徑去也山僧近日遍身生癤J33nB280_p0277c18得不奈何汝等諸人還知有遮箇消息也無蓋山僧J33nB280_p0277c19痛即是汝等諸人痛汝等諸人痛即是十方諸佛痛J33nB280_p0277c20十方諸佛痛即是一切若聖若凡山河大地明暗色J33nB280_p0277c21空底痛明暗色空等痛即是現前香爐燈燭痛若向J33nB280_p0277c22遮裏透脫得去便可向生死海中謾神嚇鬼指聖為J33nB280_p0277c23變凡作聖南山起雲北山下雨若然不會即山僧J33nB280_p0277c24痛不是諸人痛諸人痛不是山河大地痛山河大地J33nB280_p0277c25痛不是香爐燈燭痛東西南北各住各位雖然與我J33nB280_p0277c26同條生畢竟不與我同條死。」乃顧大眾云:「還會麼J33nB280_p0277c27或不然更示一頌山河大地同生日情與無情一體J33nB280_p0277c28幾度醉歸明月夜笙歌引出畫堂中。」喝一喝

小參。「水牯牛作麼生?」眾無語師云:「開口也打不開口J33nB280_p0277c30也打。」良久喝一喝:「奼女歸霄漢去獃即猶向火J33nB280_p0278a01邊棲。」

小參。「結制二十日了也觀音菩薩作麼生?」良久:「J33nB280_p0278a03饒你道得觀音我更問你文殊普賢在。」眾無語師云J33nB280_p0278a04觀音見你不會騎箇驢子走向諸人鼻孔裏去也J33nB280_p0278a05們還在遮裏等箇什麼?」良久驀豎竹篦召大眾眾舉J33nB280_p0278a06師震聲一喝擊卓一下眾禮拜而出溟鑑趨入J33nB280_p0278a07:「山僧布箇漫天網子他們都落在裏許秪有你一J33nB280_p0278a08人漏網如今又撞入來。」鑑禮拜師舉前話鑑擬對J33nB280_p0278a09便打:「如今是什麼時節你出頭來。」鑑無對師以竹J33nB280_p0278a10篦豎起:「斜陽欲落未落處盡是離人今古愁。」鑑禮J33nB280_p0278a11

小參卓拄杖:「風揭門簾月臨戶牖衲被蒙頭打坐J33nB280_p0278a13蒲團香板分明寂寂忘緣不與諸塵作對冷冷照用J33nB280_p0278a14豈沉空默邪途三玄收不得四句豈能該迥出威音J33nB280_p0278a15那畔全彰今事門頭且金不博金水不洗水一句作J33nB280_p0278a16麼生道?」良久:「袖裏金鎚光燦爛吹毛寶劍逼人寒。」

小參僧問:「如何是覿面全提?」師便打僧禮拜:「謝師J33nB280_p0278a18指示。」師又打:「者一棒又作麼生?」良久:「二時粥飯J33nB280_p0278a19齋堂裏與你們同餐五日一參又何須僧堂內相見J33nB280_p0278a20齋堂同餐且不問你作麼生是僧堂相見底事?」眾無J33nB280_p0278a21師復舉雪峰鱉鼻蛇因緣竟乃云:「你看他屋裏人J33nB280_p0278a22說屋裏話各各有出身之路諸人還知落處麼如今J33nB280_p0278a23菩提堂裏也有一條。」乃擲下拄杖:「。」良久:「J33nB280_p0278a24是喪身失命漢。」喝一喝便入方丈

小參。「結制五十日了也汝等身在堂中卻不知堂中J33nB280_p0278a26山僧為汝點破。」拈拄杖指觀音地藏聖像:「觀音J33nB280_p0278a27失卻寶冠地藏戴箇帽子唯有毘盧世尊長年秪是J33nB280_p0278a28如此通身赤灑無依也要擎拳豎指今朝舉似諸人J33nB280_p0278a29各自且依資次依資次有何事寒爐灰燼五更鐘J33nB280_p0278a30位真人憂且喜。」卓拄杖一下:「三十年來氣蓋天J33nB280_p0278b01日無端說道理。」良久:「!」

小參。「適纔聞鼓聲將謂四來戒子習禮侍者慌忙來J33nB280_p0278b03乃是請山僧小參即今日尚沒有參箇甚麼還會J33nB280_p0278b04久參上士便合乘時新戒初機重聽分付。」卓拄杖J33nB280_p0278b05:「東方來者東方坐西方來者西方坐南北上下忒J33nB280_p0278b06分明大似虛空安耳朵恁麼說話是你諸人卜度得J33nB280_p0278b07忽然三變淨土時把東方底移在西方南方底移J33nB280_p0278b08向北方移諸天人置於他土其中眾生不覺不知J33nB280_p0278b09等諸人向那裏棲泊去?」乃卓拄杖:「切忌停囚長智。」J33nB280_p0278b10喝一喝

小參。「祖師道:『境緣無好醜好醜起於心心若不強各J33nB280_p0278b12妄情從何起妄情既不起真心任遍知。』大小祖師說J33nB280_p0278b13得好道理。」卓拄杖大笑:「汝等諸人見山僧纔與麼J33nB280_p0278b14舉時正好拈箇屎塊劈口𡎺還較些子更要蹋步向J33nB280_p0278b15前問向上向下函蓋乾坤又如何玄要料揀又如何J33nB280_p0278b16熱大不緊且道山僧恁麼道意在于何?」卓拄杖:「J33nB280_p0278b17人須是殺人刀活人須是活人劍。」

小參。「一塵飛而瞖天一芥墮而覆地善財童子行一J33nB280_p0278b19過不可說不可說佛剎微塵數世界如是經無數J33nB280_p0278b20猶不能出普賢菩薩一毛孔汝等諸人在堂中朝J33nB280_p0278b21暮參未審還能出得他毛孔也無如或不能山僧J33nB280_p0278b22為汝出卻。」擲拄杖:「走盡天涯無腳跡鼻頭一J33nB280_p0278b23撥到長安。」喝一喝

小參。「今朝臘月二十五雲門一曲重新鼓。」卓拄杖J33nB280_p0278b25驀然突出拄杖頭甜者甜兮苦者苦總是一條拄杖J33nB280_p0278b26為什麼有甜有苦?」問荅竟乃云:「明明絕覆藏歷歷無J33nB280_p0278b27回互回互不回互三分一尺布莫太貴麼?」拈拄杖J33nB280_p0278b28指云:「東單西單了不相瞞。」

除夕小參僧問:「殘冬新歲將來其中事作麼生?」J33nB280_p0278b30師云:「照顧鼻孔。」進云:「還許學人趨向也無?」師云:「擬向J33nB280_p0278c01則乖。」進云:「恁麼則臘盡不須傳爆竹春回觸處是梅J33nB280_p0278c02。」師打:「驗在目前。」:「眼前境界則不問如何是過J33nB280_p0278c03節底事?」師云:「君子無所不用其極。」僧喝師云:「亂喝作J33nB280_p0278c04?」僧擬議師便打:「臘月三十日到來人人碌碌忙J33nB280_p0278c05和尚有何方便喚醒一切人?」師打:「切忌眼中著J33nB280_p0278c06。」進云:「恁麼則人人端坐看楊州去也。」師云:「翳眼猶J33nB280_p0278c07。」進云:「如何是本來正眼?」師云:「。」進云:「多謝指示。」J33nB280_p0278c08:「忍屎抵饑腸。」乃云:「一日又一日一年逗到今宵畢J33nB280_p0278c09菩提乍住事殊艱賴爾諸人齊贊助不打諸方爛葛J33nB280_p0278c10本來自有音續天同關地同軸萬象深譚子豈J33nB280_p0278c11浩浩清風亙古今箇中誰敢當頭觸黧奴白牯暗J33nB280_p0278c12嗟吁玉兔金烏徒奔逐報諸人休碌碌歲月遷流一J33nB280_p0278c13任閑直漢從來不受曲雖然如是冬去春來了無交J33nB280_p0278c14涉則且置作麼生是諸人鼻孔聻?」良久:「總道不得J33nB280_p0278c15大家喫茶去也。」

小參。「看話頭落在今時不看話頭落在無記畢竟如J33nB280_p0278c17何得箇脫灑去?」卓拄杖:「齊之以禮。」良久:「所以古J33nB280_p0278c18人道:『休得一分心學得一分佛法。』《楞嚴經:『狂心不J33nB280_p0278c19歇即菩提。』恁麼說話猶是粘牙帶齒若是山僧則J33nB280_p0278c20不然無心可歇無菩提可求觸著便轉轆轆地有什J33nB280_p0278c21麼過?」卓拄杖:「拄杖子變為龍𨁝跳上三十三天J33nB280_p0278c22雲布雨去也。」喝一喝

小參:「僧問睦州:『如何是展演之言?』州云:『量材補職。』J33nB280_p0278c24如何是不展演之言?』州云:『伏惟尚饗。』後來大慧杲禪J33nB280_p0278c25師拈云:『睦州古佛恁麼荅話美則美矣也只得八成J33nB280_p0278c26若是徑山則不然或有人問:「如何是展演之言?」便向J33nB280_p0278c27他道:「問一答百有何妨?」「如何是不展演之言?」喝一喝J33nB280_p0278c28:「𡱰。」』」師云:「二尊宿恁麼答話大似喫李子只向J33nB280_p0278c29赤邊咬若是菩提則不然有人問:『如何是展演之言?』J33nB280_p0278c30便向他道:『今日正月初十。』『如何是不展演之言?』便云J33nB280_p0279a01孟八即漢又與麼去也。』且道與古人是同是別?」喝一J33nB280_p0279a02良久:「言思路絕滯在見聞一句融通千差洞徹J33nB280_p0279a03猶如市僚弄丸彼此無墜𠁼三點豎徹橫通。」乃連J33nB280_p0279a04卓拄杖云:「一也三也𠁼三點也市僚弄丸也還有J33nB280_p0279a05會弄者麼試出來弄看。」良久拈拄杖云:「如無山僧自J33nB280_p0279a06弄一齣去也。」以拄杖作舞歸方丈

解制小參卓拄杖子:「山僧一冬以來與諸人東語西J33nB280_p0279a08究竟全無些子佛法道理為汝諸人只是把箇金J33nB280_p0279a09剛圈栗棘蓬拈似汝等且道作麼生是金剛圈栗棘J33nB280_p0279a10蓬聻只遮開口也打不開口也打跳不過時便是金J33nB280_p0279a11剛圈栗棘蓬了也還有吞吐得者麼?」良久:「非但者J33nB280_p0279a12箇是金剛圈栗棘蓬鐘鳴鼓響風雨陰晴大眾忙忙J33nB280_p0279a13檀那資護人來客往犬吠雞鳴無不是金剛圈栗棘J33nB280_p0279a14蓬底註腳還會麼不見雲門道:『盡大地是你諸人一J33nB280_p0279a15箇自己把缽盂噇飯喫飯是你自。』好言語切忌錯J33nB280_p0279a16。」卓拄杖一下:「山僧今日可謂嫂溺援之以手J33nB280_p0279a17是箇漢何須恁麼?」喝一喝

五祖禪堂小參拈拄杖:「欲識佛性義當觀時節因J33nB280_p0279a19時節若至其理自彰作麼生說箇自彰底道理聻?」J33nB280_p0279a20卓拄杖:「還會麼若向遮裏薦取得去方知人人與J33nB280_p0279a21祖師同一鼻孔出氣當體無私長安任鬧我國晏然J33nB280_p0279a22雖然如是未當宗乘且作麼生是宗乘中事聻不見J33nB280_p0279a23昔日五祖大師以衣缽付授六祖送至九江提起J33nB280_p0279a24:『我今渡汝。』只遮一句也有權也有實也有照J33nB280_p0279a25有用六祖聞之恰如火到頭上相似急急抖拍:『J33nB280_p0279a26時師度悟時自度。』你看他如鵝王擇乳素非鴨類J33nB280_p0279a27僧今日為掃祖塔至山眾勤舊請開示以結般若勝J33nB280_p0279a28山僧實是無法可說只得將祖師現成公案註解J33nB280_p0279a29一番且道與五祖送盧行者時節因緣相去多少?」J33nB280_p0279a30拄杖:「將此身心奉塵剎是則名為報佛恩。」喝一喝

小參:「《法華經:『諸佛兩足尊知法常無性佛種從J33nB280_p0279b02緣起是故說一乘。』」卓拄杖:「遮箇是山僧拄杖子J33nB280_p0279b03道是一乘是二乘?」復卓拄杖:「一雨所滋草木叢林J33nB280_p0279b04稱其種性各得增長。」

小參。「山僧別無所長只會喫飯屙屎你諸人也會喫J33nB280_p0279b06屙屎你若要騙山僧你卻作失本生意你若怕失J33nB280_p0279b07便請與山僧打成一片那時喚作山僧又是你J33nB280_p0279b08作你又是山僧你若要作佛山僧送你一把苕帚J33nB280_p0279b09箇糞箕你若要作牛山僧送你一面鏡一盆水你若J33nB280_p0279b10總不恁麼山僧向門背裏冷地好笑你若恁麼恁麼J33nB280_p0279b11山僧坐斷你脊梁雖然如是還見山僧面孔麼?」卓拄J33nB280_p0279b12喝一喝

小參。「戒壇半月半月羯磨也只為防心離過光陰可J33nB280_p0279b14時不待人步步操存心心檢察行時行時參取J33nB280_p0279b15坐時參取乃至穿衣喫飯搬柴運水無不是你們J33nB280_p0279b16參底時節且道參取箇什麼參取那參取不得底J33nB280_p0279b17取不得底如何參取聻方知參取即無參取喫飯即J33nB280_p0279b18無喫飯摘茶即無摘茶行即無行坐即無坐作務即J33nB280_p0279b19無作務汝等即此身心日用便是箇大解脫場無亦J33nB280_p0279b20不可得有亦不可得也不是聖也不是凡不須更問J33nB280_p0279b21如何各請歸堂穩坐。」

小參。「山僧絕口不談佛法為什麼終日口吧吧地?」J33nB280_p0279b23下語不契師自代云:「口甜心苦。」復云:「風休林自直J33nB280_p0279b24淨月偏明西來真奧義滿耳不容聽且道何故如此J33nB280_p0279b25胡僧入漢關。」

小參。「結制來四十餘日了也山僧今日為你們拈卻J33nB280_p0279b27再不可放在堂裏既不放在堂裏且道放在什麼處J33nB280_p0279b28還會麼?」眾無語師擊竹篦一下良久:「眼若不睡J33nB280_p0279b29夢自除心若不異萬法一如大小祖師可謂不辭泥J33nB280_p0279b30點破諸人命脈了也更道箇歸根得旨便可洗腳J33nB280_p0279c01上船無端隨照失宗依舊穿靴打睡。」眾禮拜

小參。「光陰迅速歲序遷流大事未明如喪考妣汝等J33nB280_p0279c03還知有光陰常住歲序不遷者麼?」卓拄杖:「快些悟J33nB280_p0279c04事同一家纔涉思惟流轉不息。」復卓拄杖顧大眾J33nB280_p0279c05:「會麼杖頭日月絕遷流六道人天一鑑收亙古亙J33nB280_p0279c06今無別物有何玄玅可貪求?」喝一喝

解制小參。「山僧近來因邪流混雜羞與為伍故普說J33nB280_p0279c08後了不陞堂擬於解制後便將遠引他行不意本J33nB280_p0279c09山大眾懇留再三復以結冬諾之然在道人分上J33nB280_p0279c10甚麼結制解制之殊了生脫死之說今日如是千百J33nB280_p0279c11萬億劫亦如是如是之法乃千佛萬佛其由之道也J33nB280_p0279c12未得如是也須劄定腳跟真窮實究一番二六時中J33nB280_p0279c13靈靈卓卓峭峭巍巍五欲八風無罅可入自然外無J33nB280_p0279c14名相可分內無心性可守到恁麼時忽然向心量不J33nB280_p0279c15及處打破漆桶時正好來山僧手裏請棒喫若秪弄J33nB280_p0279c16箇業識癡團或認得覿面堂堂無是不是底見解J33nB280_p0279c17肯自是一場熱病到來不是謗參禪無驗便是恨健J33nB280_p0279c18時因循不曾做得工夫那時佛也救你不得莫言不J33nB280_p0279c19山僧雖不上堂然何曾不許你們入室參請諸人J33nB280_p0279c20因地若真又何須待山僧鼓兩片皮而後為說法哉J33nB280_p0279c21森羅萬象夏去秋來池透新荷蟬吟古柏那一處不J33nB280_p0279c22是為諸人發向上機說微玅法諸人試向遮裏體當J33nB280_p0279c23看遮些絡索著在何處為從內出為從外入為非內J33nB280_p0279c24如是體當當體現前不即不離塵塵爾剎剎爾J33nB280_p0279c25方凡聖卷舒同在於剎那一念色心羅列遍周於法J33nB280_p0279c26何須覺城東際始見文殊樓閣門開方參慈氏便J33nB280_p0279c27能大中現小小中現大撮土成金變金作土如斯解J33nB280_p0279c28功不浪施諸人還得恁麼也未如或未然莫把身J33nB280_p0279c29心閑處用光陰似箭急相催。」卓拄杖一下

小參。「古人道:『無明實性即佛性幻化空身即法身J33nB280_p0280a01身覺了無一物本源自性天真佛處處真處處真J33nB280_p0280a02塵俱是本來人。』」卓拄杖:「永嘉大師來也他道禪和J33nB280_p0280a03子從麻城來卻帶得有廬山信息說道天晴日定出J33nB280_p0280a04雨下水長流傾湫倒嶽難抵敵渾身沒有一毛乾J33nB280_p0280a05既沒有一毛乾向什麼處晒㫰聻?」拈拄杖卓一下J33nB280_p0280a06:「常因送客處記得別家時。」

冬至大雪小參。「昨日一枯山今朝千里白無人粧作J33nB280_p0280a08天然現奇特造化了無功心意難推測報汝眾禪J33nB280_p0280a09不用更疑惑。」卓拄杖下座

小參。「山僧昨晚在方丈裏思量:『汝等眾禪和子不是J33nB280_p0280a11坐在黑山鬼窟裏便是心意猜求如何得了徹去?』J33nB280_p0280a12思惟問忽見舜若多神來白山僧道:『小聖有箇方便J33nB280_p0280a13能為和尚出力。』山僧道:『你有什麼伎倆試播弄看。』J33nB280_p0280a14便颯颯地鼓一陣大風把紫雲山吹得粉碎眾禪和J33nB280_p0280a15子無依無倚叫苦連天山僧不勝憐笑不覺替他念J33nB280_p0280a16南無大慈大悲救苦救難觀世音菩薩觀音聽見J33nB280_p0280a17山僧道:『雲外老官你偏好管閑事這些大眾我從J33nB280_p0280a18大通智勝如來時便教化他發阿耨多羅三藐三菩J33nB280_p0280a19提心如今都忘卻了教我也沒奈何。』山僧正要與他J33nB280_p0280a20理論忽然鼓響鐘鳴驀地醒來乃是南柯一夢呵呵J33nB280_p0280a21大笑:『昨夜那裏做夢今朝遮裏說夢汝等都來聽J33nB280_p0280a22為復做底是夢為復說底是夢為復聽底是夢?』」J33nB280_p0280a23下拄杖:「山僧一齊為你斫斷了也今後再不可打J33nB280_p0280a24瞌睡。」眾禮拜

除夕小參。「古人道:『一年將盡夜萬里未歸人直饒便J33nB280_p0280a26歸得歸得亦無家。』古人恁麼道也是壓良為賤若是J33nB280_p0280a27老祖遮裏則不然爆竹一聲殘臘盡十方三世頓歸J33nB280_p0280a28太平不借功勳定日日晴窗映晚霞。」喝一喝

小參:「洞山聰道者在雲居作燈頭時有僧問:『泗洲J33nB280_p0281a01僧伽為甚麼楊州出現?』聰答云:『君子愛財取之有道。』J33nB280_p0281a02眾皆笑之傳至廬山蓮華峰祥菴主處主合掌云:『J33nB280_p0281a03意雲門兒孫猶在。』夜敷坐具望雲居拜之聰由是知J33nB280_p0281a04。」師云:「且如君子愛財取之有道遮兩句話作麼生J33nB280_p0281a05偏不道是臨濟曹洞溈仰法眼兒孫而恰認得是雲J33nB280_p0281a06門兒孫且道淆訛在什麼處?」眾下語不契師代云:「J33nB280_p0281a07笑清貧涎太守渭川千畝在胸中。」
