開鐘板驀喝一喝召大眾云:「什麼聲?」復云:「獅子哮吼J40nB493_p0507c04象王蹴踏聲鐘鈴鑼鼓聲琴瑟箜篌聲不是牛聲J40nB493_p0507c05馬聲豬聲狗聲雞聲貓兒聲不是風聲水聲火聲J40nB493_p0507c06籟聲地籟聲熱碗鳴聲亦不是什麼聲且聽。」遂擊三J40nB493_p0507c07板一鐘:「堂中三板止靜爾等不得高聲。」

開雲板顧左右云:「諸仁者參禪如甑蒸飯一氣便要J40nB493_p0507c09蒸熟豈不見一聲雲板堂中響清淨法身輥將來J40nB493_p0507c10在目前。」遂擊雲板指眾云:「那千二百五十人俱皆是J40nB493_p0507c11大阿漢。」

謝衿紳黃次山男秀初入山供米上堂。「投佛毘尼學J40nB493_p0507c13四禪法輪未轉食輪先饒伊粟粒須彌重硬著肩頭J40nB493_p0507c14一擔肩要是恁麼人方行恁麼事所以演祖道:『人之J40nB493_p0507c15性命事第一須是○欲得成此○先須妨於○。』若是J40nB493_p0507c16真○人○○演祖雖是一個救世良醫究竟說真方J40nB493_p0507c17賣假藥也是瘡疣瘢上著艾灸若是人之性命事J40nB493_p0507c18謂六個○即就千個○萬個○出不得我黃護法喬J40nB493_p0507c19梓者一個○何故他只知行好事不必問前程誰管J40nB493_p0507c20你慶雲寺裏細切冬瓜爛煮蘿蔔橫咬豎嚼飽睡鼾J40nB493_p0507c21雖然如是但古云:『入道不通理復身還信施長者J40nB493_p0507c22八十二其樹不生耳。』沙門佛子口喫施主飯身穿施J40nB493_p0507c23主衣將什麼報答施主?」良久:「佛祖位中留不住J40nB493_p0507c24衣藂裏任逍遙。」

舒中會護法過訪上堂:「昔有秀才問長沙:『某甲曾J40nB493_p0508a19千佛經》,百千諸佛但見其名未審居何國土?』長沙J40nB493_p0508a20召秀才才應諾沙云:『黃鶴樓崔顥題後居士還曾題J40nB493_p0508a21?』才曰:『不曾。』沙云:『得閒題取一篇好。』」師云:「長沙本擬J40nB493_p0508a22道個崔顥題黃鶴具有多少奇特殊不知秀才仰他J40nB493_p0508a23來意作個順水著篙輕輕答個不曾設沙無後語J40nB493_p0508a24乎打破蔡州帶累天下衲僧千古被個不曾活活埋J40nB493_p0508a25山僧今日黨理不黨親且聽不曾唐言非梵語J40nB493_p0508a26下衲僧提不起累得石人口啞開不銷知人一掉嘴J40nB493_p0508a27爭似我舒護法冒雪見訪促膝談心細切清風J40nB493_p0508a28明月也不題詩也不答對何故伯牙與子期不是閒J40nB493_p0508a29相識。」

新戒石壇朗文上堂僧問:「清淨行者不上天堂是如J40nB493_p0508b17?」師云:「妙在不上天堂。」進云:「破戒比邱不入地獄J40nB493_p0508b18作麼生?」師云:「妙在不入地獄。」進云:「未在更道。」師云:「J40nB493_p0508b19不更問清淨行者不上天堂劈開華嶽連天碧又云J40nB493_p0508b20漆桶放光破戒比邱不入地獄放出黃河徹底清J40nB493_p0508b21云放光漆桶。」僧擬議師云:「何不更問?」僧無語師云:「J40nB493_p0508b22累山僧口啞。」乃云:「粗言及細語皆歸第一義山僧有J40nB493_p0508b23語一則非黃非黑非紅非白非遠非近非粗非細J40nB493_p0508b24非下非在中間是那一則語試道看。」遂問:「二引請J40nB493_p0508b25在眾麼?」:「。」「適纔羯磨詣白方丈昨夜諸沙彌未曾J40nB493_p0508b26盡情發露今當人天眾前必須決擇分明煩召眾上。」J40nB493_p0508b27眾立定引請曰:「胡跪合掌。」師云:「沙彌等清淨默然故J40nB493_p0508b28是事如是持能持否?」答曰:「能持。」師云:「恐後無憑立此J40nB493_p0508b29存照。」驀喝一喝下座

外翰李雙峰掌亭文諭遣使入山飯僧陞座僧問:「J40nB493_p0508c01日師舉曰:『粗言入細語皆歸第一義。』如何是第一義?」J40nB493_p0508c02師向使者曰:「諸位老爺在家安否?」:「。」師云:「吾常於J40nB493_p0508c03此切。」眾不散復舉:「龐公問馬祖云:『不與萬法為侶者J40nB493_p0508c04是誰?』祖云:『待你一口吸盡西江再向爾道。』」師云:「馬祖J40nB493_p0508c05道雖太煞道也只道得一半那一半秪為分明極J40nB493_p0508c06因失照遲今日設問山僧:『不以萬法為侶者是誰?』J40nB493_p0508c07:『饒伊筆參造化鐸振三千不向伊道。』何故彼自無J40nB493_p0508c08慎勿傷之。」復召專使云:「歸對諸位老爺分明舉似。」
