J40nB493_p0507b02「戊午今年五十四,十年前眼睛生刺,皓皓鬚鬢白似J40nB493_p0507b03銀,行行腰膝痠于醋。無端白日被鬼迷,一病通身爛J40nB493_p0507b04似泥,天網恢恢針不漏,井中做事有人知。使我棲廟J40nB493_p0507b05蜆子般,睢陽神前酒臺盤,鄱陽九汎惟天塹,破浪乘J40nB493_p0507b06風滾雪團。告諸人,骨毛寒,口似血盆訢得乾。詎意慶J40nB493_p0507b07雲李山主同法雲監寺,忽向枯木糝花,寒崖發焰,請J40nB493_p0507b08拙代佛毘尼,激揚佛法。拙自受請以來,回首鄱陽故J40nB493_p0507b09事,肚角內不啻癇了一箇無名腫毒,懷在衣裏,行住J40nB493_p0507b10坐臥,痛腫不樂。想此慶雲昔蒙彼師孔嶼和上召賃J40nB493_p0507b11先師,今又蒙彼召賃拙上座,扶起剎竿,高挂招牌,舊J40nB493_p0507b12舖新開,主顧齊來,不惟貨物不備,要且慮米慮柴。慮J40nB493_p0507b13至今日,展了舖面,聊陞此座。復見新戒到來,眾師安J40nB493_p0507b14單,將人事一齊畢了,不覺衣內無名毒上自穿一竅,J40nB493_p0507b15頃刻流落多少膿血,以上毒氣漸漸消除,其奈患處J40nB493_p0507b16難於收工。又慮三十日結壇,并比邱壇裏見說:『道高J40nB493_p0507b17一尺,魔高一丈。』況拙薄德尟修,素所不能拒口,內中J40nB493_p0507b18設有一個氣粗行者,觸怒大力魔王,挑唆禪和子毛J40nB493_p0507b19病,再加喫些發物,攻發拙上座無名舊毒,者包膿血J40nB493_p0507b20沒處可消。然則畢竟如何?」良久,云:「有了,有了。不免喚J40nB493_p0507b21湯藥向東灣余家中三官贖他一張膏藥,將此爛處J40nB493_p0507b22緊緊貼著,省得流膿流血,以後爛越不說。何故?曾經J40nB493_p0507b23霜雪苦,楊花落也驚。」舉:「芥菴禪師閱老和上語錄,問J40nB493_p0507b24火頭:『火作麼生燒?』頭無語,老和上代云:『冷灶著一把,J40nB493_p0507b25熱灶著一把。』侍者在傍問和上:『火作麼生燒?』芥就地J40nB493_p0507b26拈起一莖草作吹勢,者云:『莫弄虛。』芥云:『著也,著也。』者J40nB493_p0507b27擬議,芥云:『燎卻面門。』」師云:「漫謂燎卻者僧面門,不知J40nB493_p0507b28芥菴老官眉毛還在麼?今日設問拙上座:『火作麼生J40nB493_p0507b29燒?』亦就地拈起一莖草作吹勢,待他云:『莫弄虛。』攔腮J40nB493_p0507b30便掌,云:『瞎漢!我弄虛,你今日爭得慶雲寺裏齋喫?』他J40nB493_p0507c01若擬開口,連掌問云:『還委悉麼?』隨托開,云:『手執夜明J40nB493_p0507c02符,幾個知天曉?』」擊拂子,下座。
J40nB493_p0507c03開鐘板。驀喝一喝,召大眾云:「什麼聲?」復云:「獅子哮吼J40nB493_p0507c04聲、象王蹴踏聲、鐘鈴鑼鼓聲、琴瑟箜篌聲,不是牛聲、J40nB493_p0507c05馬聲、豬聲、狗聲、雞聲、貓兒聲,不是風聲、水聲、火聲、天J40nB493_p0507c06籟聲、地籟聲、熱碗鳴聲,亦不是什麼聲?且聽。」遂擊三J40nB493_p0507c07板一鐘,云:「堂中三板止靜,爾等不得高聲。」
J40nB493_p0507c08開雲板。顧左右云:「諸仁者,參禪如甑蒸飯,一氣便要J40nB493_p0507c09蒸熟。豈不見一聲雲板堂中響,清淨法身輥將來?驗J40nB493_p0507c10在目前。」遂擊雲板,指眾云:「那千二百五十人俱皆是J40nB493_p0507c11大阿漢。」
J40nB493_p0507c12謝衿紳黃次山男秀初入山供米,上堂。「投佛毘尼學J40nB493_p0507c13四禪,法輪未轉食輪先,饒伊粟粒須彌重,硬著肩頭J40nB493_p0507c14一擔肩。要是恁麼人,方行恁麼事,所以演祖道:『人之J40nB493_p0507c15性命事,第一須是○,欲得成此○,先須妨於○。』若是J40nB493_p0507c16真○人○○,演祖雖是一個救世良醫,究竟說真方、J40nB493_p0507c17賣假藥,也是瘡疣瘢上著艾灸。若是人之性命事,漫J40nB493_p0507c18謂六個○,即就千個○、萬個○,出不得我黃護法喬J40nB493_p0507c19梓者一個○。何故?他只知行好事,不必問前程,誰管J40nB493_p0507c20你慶雲寺裏細切冬瓜、爛煮蘿蔔,橫咬豎嚼,飽睡鼾J40nB493_p0507c21鼾?雖然如是,但古云:『入道不通理,復身還信施,長者J40nB493_p0507c22八十二,其樹不生耳。』沙門佛子口喫施主飯、身穿施J40nB493_p0507c23主衣,將什麼報答施主?」良久,云:「佛祖位中留不住,錦J40nB493_p0507c24衣藂裏任逍遙。」
J40nB493_p0507c25衿紳蔡渭賓、漢奇質先露賡書存宣侯九瞻天緯贊J40nB493_p0507c26堯遜修友蘭,上堂。「古德云:『二十年前著意猜,幾回曾J40nB493_p0507c27把此心灰。而今潦倒成知己,李白原來是秀才。』大眾!J40nB493_p0507c28你道太白先生當日作秀才時所恃何長?恃在一管J40nB493_p0507c29花筆,三升酕醄,臨池雨洒,青鸞白鳳,左右翩翻,三墳J40nB493_p0507c30五典,九邱八索,六韜三略,諸子百家,傍門小教,倚馬J40nB493_p0508a01而待。偶呈知章,即解金貂換酒飲之。然者些伎倆猶J40nB493_p0508a02是日用邊事,賢在殿上使力士脫靴,蓋謂氣吞宇宙,J40nB493_p0508a03明並日月。是氣也,至大至剛,塞乎天地之間,直透堯、J40nB493_p0508a04舜、禹、湯、文、武、周公、孔子一線耳。後人因此一線仰高J40nB493_p0508a05鑽堅,仰線將太白以上那些絡索一貫貫卻,挂向翰J40nB493_p0508a06苑東壁上,文不加點,惟在羹墻樹赤幟者。魯班雖巧,J40nB493_p0508a07傍線而行,雖不中不遠矣。其餘仁者見之謂之仁,智J40nB493_p0508a08者見之謂之智,百姓日用而不知,故君子之道鮮矣。J40nB493_p0508a09何也?豈不見東壁圖書府,西園翰墨林,誦詩聞國政,J40nB493_p0508a10講易見天心。位竊和羹重,恩叨醉酒深,再歌春興曲,J40nB493_p0508a11情竭為知音。仲尼曰:『吾禱久矣。』」舉:「雲巖示眾云:『有個J40nB493_p0508a12人家,兒子問著,無有答不得者。』洞山問云:『他家屋裏J40nB493_p0508a13有多少典籍?』曰:『一字也無。』山云:『爭得恁麼多知?』曰:『日J40nB493_p0508a14夜不曾睡。』山云:『問一段事得麼?』曰:『道得即不道。』後楚J40nB493_p0508a15石禪師云:『道得即不道。作麼生會?長恨春歸無覓處,J40nB493_p0508a16誰知轉入此中來?』拙上座別行一路去也。應知村店J40nB493_p0508a17酒,難醉玉樓人。」
J40nB493_p0508a18舒中會護法過訪,上堂。舉:「昔有秀才問長沙:『某甲曾J40nB493_p0508a19看《千佛經》,百千諸佛但見其名,未審居何國土?』長沙J40nB493_p0508a20召秀才,才應諾。沙云:『黃鶴樓崔顥題後,居士還曾題J40nB493_p0508a21否?』才曰:『不曾。』沙云:『得閒題取一篇好。』」師云:「長沙本擬J40nB493_p0508a22道個崔顥題黃鶴,具有多少奇特?殊不知秀才仰他J40nB493_p0508a23來意,作個順水著篙,輕輕答個不曾。設沙無後語,洎J40nB493_p0508a24乎打破蔡州,帶累天下衲僧千古被個不曾活活埋J40nB493_p0508a25卻。山僧今日黨理不黨親,且聽:不曾唐言非梵語,天J40nB493_p0508a26下衲僧提不起,累得石人口啞開,不銷知人一掉嘴。J40nB493_p0508a27爭似我舒護法冒雪見訪,促膝談心,細切清風,薄▆J40nB493_p0508a28明月,也不題詩,也不答對。何故?伯牙與子期,不是閒J40nB493_p0508a29相識。」
J40nB493_p0508a30羅象坤鄉賓請陞座。「天地以氣為主,氣候一齊,運化J40nB493_p0508b01合節,四時行焉,百物生焉。人身以心為主,心王一正,J40nB493_p0508b02形神晏然,塵氛不擾,動止安庠。萬邦以天子為主,天J40nB493_p0508b03子一御,風調雨順,國泰民安。一方以父老為主,父老J40nB493_p0508b04一端,風俗敦厚,鄉鄰和睦。所以我鍾陵羅長者為人J40nB493_p0508b05方正,處世和平,可以躡屩朝天子,杖藜謁相公,孰不J40nB493_p0508b06瞻之仰之?今日特特入山飯僧,更請山僧陞座說法,J40nB493_p0508b07且道說何法要?以上所供,皆是詣實。」復舉:「陸亙大夫J40nB493_p0508b08問南泉云:『弟子家中有一片石,有時坐,有時臥,擬鐫J40nB493_p0508b09作佛,得麼?』泉云:『得。』亙云:『莫不得麼?』泉云:『不得。』南泉矮J40nB493_p0508b10子觀場,隨人起倒;陸亙貓兒捕鼠,鼠逃蹤忘。一個半J40nB493_p0508b11斤,一個八兩,今日到來,一齊按下雲頭。何也?慶雲門J40nB493_p0508b12下我羅公,家中也有一片石,坐就坐,臥就臥,也不屑J40nB493_p0508b13問山僧鐫作佛,得麼?山僧固不肯驢唇馬嘴,無事到J40nB493_p0508b14來閒說話,一杯茶後一杯茶,相逢自有知音知,何必J40nB493_p0508b15清風動天地?」
J40nB493_p0508b16新戒石壇朗文上堂。僧問:「清淨行者不上天堂,是如J40nB493_p0508b17何?」師云:「妙在不上天堂。」進云:「破戒比邱不入地獄,又J40nB493_p0508b18作麼生?」師云:「妙在不入地獄。」進云:「未在,更道。」師云:「何J40nB493_p0508b19不更問?清淨行者不上天堂,劈開華嶽連天碧。又云J40nB493_p0508b20漆桶放光。破戒比邱不入地獄,放出黃河徹底清。又J40nB493_p0508b21云放光漆桶。」僧擬議,師云:「何不更問?」僧無語,師云:「帶J40nB493_p0508b22累山僧口啞。」乃云:「粗言及細語,皆歸第一義。山僧有J40nB493_p0508b23語一則:非黃、非黑,非紅、非白,非遠、非近,非粗、非細,非J40nB493_p0508b24上、非下,非在中間。是那一則語?試道看。」遂問:「二引請J40nB493_p0508b25在眾麼?」云:「在。」「適纔羯磨詣白方丈,昨夜諸沙彌未曾J40nB493_p0508b26盡情發露,今當人天眾前,必須決擇分明,煩召眾上。」J40nB493_p0508b27眾立定,引請曰:「胡跪合掌。」師云:「沙彌等清淨默然故,J40nB493_p0508b28是事如是,持能持否?」答曰:「能持。」師云:「恐後無憑,立此J40nB493_p0508b29存照。」驀喝一喝,下座。
J40nB493_p0508b30外翰李雙峰掌亭文諭,遣使入山飯僧,陞座。僧問:「昨J40nB493_p0508c01日師舉曰:『粗言入細語,皆歸第一義。』如何是第一義?」J40nB493_p0508c02師向使者曰:「諸位老爺在家安否?」曰:「安。」師云:「吾常於J40nB493_p0508c03此切。」眾不散。復舉:「龐公問馬祖云:『不與萬法為侶者J40nB493_p0508c04是誰?』祖云:『待你一口吸盡西江,再向爾道。』」師云:「馬祖J40nB493_p0508c05道雖太煞道,也只道得一半。那一半?秪為分明極,翻J40nB493_p0508c06因失照遲。今日設問山僧:『不以萬法為侶者是誰?』向J40nB493_p0508c07道:『饒伊筆參造化,鐸振三千,不向伊道。』何故?彼自無J40nB493_p0508c08瘡,慎勿傷之。」復召專使云:「歸對諸位老爺分明舉似。」
J40nB493_p0508c09名上國學祈嗣,上堂。僧云:「慶雲靉靆即不問,露柱懷J40nB493_p0508c10胎事若何?」師云:「鐵鳳產金雞。」進云:「恁麼三玄齊合掌,五J40nB493_p0508c11位盡歡呼。」師云:「諸方聞得眼睛出火,喉嚨生煙。」進云:J40nB493_p0508c12「五位則且置,如何是第一玄?」「跛鱉抓漁船。」「第二玄?」「瞎J40nB493_p0508c13驢鐵索拴。」「第三玄?」「猴子學跳圈。」「第一要?」「碑壓贔屭笑。」J40nB493_p0508c14「第二要?」「螳螂擒蟬叫。」「第三要?」「蠟蚤褲襠跳。」進云:「大似J40nB493_p0508c15西來意。」師云:「雞啣燈盞走,鱉咬釣魚竿。」僧禮拜,師云:J40nB493_p0508c16「慣釣鯨魚沉巨浸,卻嗟蛙步展泥沙。」復二僧並出,師J40nB493_p0508c17云:「一點水墨,兩處成龍。」一僧歸位,一僧復擬問,師云:J40nB493_p0508c18「只恐不是玉,是玉也大奇。」乃云:「昨夜燈花結蕊,今朝J40nB493_p0508c19喜鵲噪簷,看是阿誰來到?誰知應我鄒君入山祈禱J40nB493_p0508c20請法飯僧。佛云:『止止不須說,我法玅難思,諸憎上慢J40nB493_p0508c21者,聞必不敬信。』如有信得及者,諦聽諦聽。上大人,邱J40nB493_p0508c22乙己,化三千,七十士,爾小生,八九子,佳作仁,可知禮J40nB493_p0508c23也。」驀拈拄杖云:「說猶未了。拄杖子在旁涌身高七多J40nB493_p0508c24羅樹,佯狂叫云:『好笑好笑,牧亭長老,嘗見你氣吞宇J40nB493_p0508c25宙、眼蓋乾坤,今乃何得將三尺童子順朱底上大人J40nB493_p0508c26來人天眾前當法說?不惟妄談佛法,東溪令貴遊活J40nB493_p0508c27活被你羞殺,我見諸方孰不攢花簇錦四六章句?噫!J40nB493_p0508c28頻素伎倆今在何處?』山僧被他一拶,直得無言可對、J40nB493_p0508c29無理可申,退身三步,只得扯個淡云:『拄杖子!你一生J40nB493_p0508c30秪解助強凌弱、胡溷打人,究竟佛法何曾夢著?此語J40nB493_p0509a01如金矢法,信者如金、不信如矢。不見道:「應以佛身得J40nB493_p0509a02度者,即現佛身而為說法;應以宰官身得度者,即現J40nB493_p0509a03宰官身而為說法;應以童男童女身得度者,即現童J40nB493_p0509a04男女身而為說法。」佛身宰官則且置,童男女身法作J40nB493_p0509a05麼生說?』金雞抱子離霄漢,玉兔懷胎入紫微,以何為J40nB493_p0509a06驗?」遂以手作鬥勢云:「鬥蟲蟲,蟲蟲飛,鬥蟲蟲,蟲蟲飛。」J40nB493_p0509a07更聽一偈:「昨夜東風發得惡,五更掣斷麒麟索,六丁J40nB493_p0509a08六甲拏不住,走向君家露頭角。」擊拂子下座。
J40nB493_p0509a09檀樾舒位中君木義、行平宇公望,上堂。「攪長河為酥J40nB493_p0509a10酪,變大地作黃金,且道供養什麼人?十方薄伽梵,一J40nB493_p0509a11路涅槃門,更要問你路頭在甚麼處?求長壽得長壽,J40nB493_p0509a12求富饒得富饒,求官位得官位,求男女得男女,或有J40nB493_p0509a13水火盜賊侵擾,併獅子、虎狼、熊羆、惡蝎、蜈蚣、蚰蜒、蚊J40nB493_p0509a14蚋等怖,惡夢、惡相、諸不吉祥皆悉隱沒,不能為患。更J40nB493_p0509a15有一事不曾道著,且道是何事?」良久,云:「忘卻了也。」遂J40nB493_p0509a16合掌向空問訊,云:「南無佛,南無法,南無僧,你又作麼J40nB493_p0509a17生?」便下座。
J40nB493_p0509a18上堂。維那白椎云:「法筵龍象眾,當觀第一義。」師云:「第J40nB493_p0509a19一義,鴻濛未判,兩儀未分,混沌一毬,你肚裏有我,我J40nB493_p0509a20肚裏有你,大家一團和氣,剛被維那一椎百雜碎了J40nB493_p0509a21也。如今天是天、地是地,日月星辰、山河大地、草木藂J40nB493_p0509a22林,森羅萬象,情與無情煥然等現,君君臣臣、父父子J40nB493_p0509a23子、昆弟夫婦,有賓有主、有人有我,門戶競開,各自分J40nB493_p0509a24疆列界,中間無端突出一個嬴秦氏,蠶食天下、併吞J40nB493_p0509a25六國,子房先生旁觀不分,一擊博沙嬴秦,水中打失J40nB493_p0509a26無位真人鼻孔沒半邊,無位真人寬洪大量,依舊無J40nB493_p0509a27我相、無人相、無眾生相、無壽者相,乃至無無明亦無J40nB493_p0509a28無明盡,所以無手人行拳、無舌人解語,忽無手人打J40nB493_p0509a29無舌人,無舌人連忙道個不必。不必裏事作麼生?黃J40nB493_p0509a30顛仙入山飯僧,請法懺罪。」驀喝一喝云:「顛仙懺罪畢。」

J40nB493_p0509c01指法座,云:「高懸古鏡,列萬象於臺前;橫按莫邪,截群J40nB493_p0509c02機於句下。且道阿誰境界?」拽杖便陞。
J40nB493_p0509c03祝J40nB493_p0509c04聖畢,五龍法翼大師白椎云:「法筵龍象眾,當觀第一義。」J40nB493_p0509c05師云:「言下未申霹靂舌,鋒前已泄法王機。西河獅子J40nB493_p0509c06把斷要津,客作僧作麼生得過?」
J40nB493_p0509c07大師問:「獅幢邂逅降昌江,振起圓通大道場,草木昆J40nB493_p0509c08蟲咸被化,燈籠絕倒放慈光。昔日漁父誤入桃源,啟J40nB493_p0509c09問和尚,未審得甚麼邊事?」師云:「石筍抽條。」進云:「後來J40nB493_p0509c10張騫汎槎,誤入斗牛宮中,又得甚麼邊事?」師云:「鼻頭J40nB493_p0509c11依舊向下垂。」進云:「今日和尚誤入圓通,開爐設戒,又J40nB493_p0509c12得甚麼邊事?」師云:「你看山僧眉毛還在麼?」進云:「且道J40nB493_p0509c13與二老是同是別?」師以手招云:「歸去來,歸去來。」進云:J40nB493_p0509c14「火燒松樹烏龍現,雪覆巉巖白虎蹲。」師云:「絕好一聯。」J40nB493_p0509c15進云:「蒙師慈答,伏惟珍重。」師云:「毋煩久立。」問:「向上宗J40nB493_p0509c16乘即不問,如何是圓通境?」師云:「鵓鳩林吞紫雲嵒。」進J40nB493_p0509c17云:「如何是圓通事?」師云:「莫犯波夷提。」進云:J40nB493_p0509c18「聖主命天下衲僧精進毘尼,以何報答?」師云:「鐵樹開花J40nB493_p0509c19是一年。」進云:「謝師證盟。」師云:J40nB493_p0509c20「聖德自主張。」乃云:「諸佛未出世,祖師不西來,佛法遍天J40nB493_p0509c21下,談玄口不開。天左轉,地右旋,日日日東昇,月月月J40nB493_p0509c22西墜,潮落無邊滄海,雲橫不斷青山,空谷傳聲,虛堂J40nB493_p0509c23習聽,墻壁瓦礫,大地山河,草木昆蟲,剎說塵說,熾然J40nB493_p0509c24說,無間歇,何須更待雲門關捩子、法眼惟心識、曹洞J40nB493_p0509c25五位、臨濟三玄、溈仰父子嬉戲?不見道:『無邊剎境,自J40nB493_p0509c26他不隔於毫頭;十世古今,始終不離於當念。』處處無J40nB493_p0509c27非佛事,頭頭悉是道場,酒肆淫房毫無罣礙,魔宮虎J40nB493_p0509c28穴任便逍遙。到個裏不妨隨處作主,遇緣即宗,法隨J40nB493_p0509c29法行,法幢隨處建立,于一毫端現寶王剎,坐微塵裏J40nB493_p0509c30轉大法輪,理無礙、事無礙,心亦如、境亦如,有時拈一J40nB493_p0510a01莖草作丈六金身、有時拈丈六金身作一莖草,釋迦J40nB493_p0510a02不先、迦葉不後,文殊、普賢、觀音、彌勒聻?喚來與老僧J40nB493_p0510a03洗腳了。腳跟下各領二十拄杖,一齊趁入水牯牛隊J40nB493_p0510a04裏去也。何故?我不曾向紫羅帳裏攃珍珠與汝諸人J40nB493_p0510a05在。今者圓通監寺嵩胤請拙毘尼飯僧陞座。適纔者J40nB493_p0510a06些說話,不是索鹽奉馬,還是指煤為墨,敢勸諸人記J40nB493_p0510a07得六祖在法性寺見二僧議論風旛話,一云風動,一J40nB493_p0510a08云旛動。祖云:『非風旛動,仁者心動。』」適師打一噴嚏,乃J40nB493_p0510a09問眾云:「還見祖師麼?聽記一頌:尋春並轡出東郊,帶J40nB493_p0510a10得詩來馬上敲,著意尋春春不見,東風吹上海棠梢。」J40nB493_p0510a11揮拂子,下座。

J40nB493_p0510a16上堂。「第一句下薦得,佛祖乞命;第二句下薦得,天魔J40nB493_p0510a17膽落;第三句下薦得,猛虎當路坐。三句外更有一句,J40nB493_p0510a18諸人若還薦得,能殺、能活,能縱、能奪,有照、有用,有權、J40nB493_p0510a19有實,有賓、有主。且道是那一句?山僧五處住山未曾J40nB493_p0510a20舉著,三藏十二部一切修多羅未曾道著,今日布施J40nB493_p0510a21諸人去也,試道看。浮梁圓通寺說戒,劍江本嶽、芝城J40nB493_p0510a22普聖二乃求戒領袖,設齋一筵供眾。顧左邊云:『少選,J40nB493_p0510a23你也有分。』顧右邊云:『你也有分。燈籠有分、露柱有分、J40nB493_p0510a24磨盤有分、碓臼有分、十字街頭破草鞋有分、泰山廟J40nB493_p0510a25裏石敢當有分,以至帡幪之下、八表之外、六合之內,J40nB493_p0510a26情與無情悉皆有分,秪是無位真人無分。何故?奈他J40nB493_p0510a27無舌頭。』我更要問你,將甚麼說法?」復云:「急著眼聽。」便J40nB493_p0510a28下座。
J40nB493_p0510a29上堂。問:「三腳驢子弄蹄則且置,八角磨盤空裏走,此J40nB493_p0510a30理如何?」師云:「河清海晏。」進云:「南泉斬貓,因甚不守殺J40nB493_p0510b01戒?」師云:「大用現前。」「婆子偷趙州筍,因甚不守盜戒?」「忍J40nB493_p0510b02俊不禁。」「阿難入摩登伽女室,因甚不守淫戒?」「以己妨J40nB493_p0510b03人。」「世尊設化城,因甚不守妄戒?」「被你帶累。」進云:「毘盧J40nB493_p0510b04心印,謝師指示。」師云:「杓卜聽虛聲。」問:「圓通戒壇,佛聲J40nB493_p0510b05號號,如何是佛?」師云:「金剛腳下泥鬼子。」進云:「如何法?」J40nB493_p0510b06師云:「王道士手中令牌。」進云:「如何是僧?」師云:「吹月引J40nB493_p0510b07鸞鳴。」進云:「佛法僧已蒙師示,三玄三要再披宣。」師云:J40nB493_p0510b08「又是從頭起,第一玄是你家大父、第二玄是你家令J40nB493_p0510b09君子、第三玄是你足下。第一要請進,第二要告茶,第J40nB493_p0510b10三要多慢。」進云:「果是作家宗師。」師云:「蒼天,蒼天。」乃云:J40nB493_p0510b11「大通智勝佛,十劫坐道場,佛法不現前,不得成佛道。J40nB493_p0510b12諸仁者!即如圓通戒壇,夜夜佛聲號號,知得個佛是J40nB493_p0510b13什麼?佛者,覺也;覺者,悟也。悟又悟個什麼?一日十二J40nB493_p0510b14時中語默笑傲,知得是個什麼?冷地回頭,皆藉佛力,J40nB493_p0510b15直如冤仇平等,方纔許你名為出家衲僧。不見道:夜J40nB493_p0510b16夜抱佛眠,朝朝還共起,起坐鎮相隨,語默同居止,纖J40nB493_p0510b17毫不差移,如形影相似。欲識佛去處,只者語聲是。」驀J40nB493_p0510b18喝一喝,云:「庫司在眾麼?」曰:「在。」「昨夜伽藍告報山僧:『米J40nB493_p0510b19裏有虫,麥裏有麵,廚庫僧堂,三門佛殿,盞子撲落地,J40nB493_p0510b20碟子成七片。』你作庫司,因甚不去照管?少選廣盛真J40nB493_p0510b21愿新戒設齋,將甚家伙使用?謾道景德鎮磁器賤煞J40nB493_p0510b22在。一日即燒九千九百九十九個,若無那一個,汝等J40nB493_p0510b23諸人將甚麼喫飯?你若道得那一個則已,道不得,罰J40nB493_p0510b24齋一堂供。」眾司擬議,師云:「念汝戒期勤勞,代為說破。」J40nB493_p0510b25復云:「父母所生口,終不與汝說。」
J40nB493_p0510b26摘鐘板。「急水灘頭蹴繡毬,靜不如動;焦磚打著連底J40nB493_p0510b27凍,動不如靜。到個裏,孟八郎漢也用不著,徐六擔板J40nB493_p0510b28也用不著。令自山僧。」復云:「封。」

J40nB493_p0510c02白椎竟,師云:「水向石邊流出冷,風從花裏過來香,百J40nB493_p0510c03花藂裏過,還有不沾身者麼?」問:「鄱湖風送來天竺,天J40nB493_p0510c04竺勝境即不問,祖師如何不會禪?」師云:「誰教他鼻孔J40nB493_p0510c05沒半邊?」進云:「夫子如何不識字?」師云:「美食不充飽人J40nB493_p0510c06餐。」僧禮謝,師云:「劄。」問:「世尊拈花,意旨如何?」師云:「點起J40nB493_p0510c07滿堂紅。」進云:「迦葉微笑又作麼生?」師云:「吹滅暗中行。」J40nB493_p0510c08進云:「百萬人天,且道悟有幾人?」師云:「尖斗量不盡。」進J40nB493_p0510c09云:「謝師指示。」師云:「兩個是一雙。」進云:「勘破了也。」師擲J40nB493_p0510c10杖示之。一僧出,以坐具打圓相,云:「是甚麼?」師云:「杜撰J40nB493_p0510c11禪和,如麻似粟。」僧拂袖歸位,云:「無人知此意,令我憶J40nB493_p0510c12南泉。」師云:「家富小兒嬌。」問:「壇中說戒即不問,且道向J40nB493_p0510c13上事如何?」師云:「扇子𨁝跳上三十三天,築著帝釋鼻J40nB493_p0510c14孔,東海鯉魚打一棒,雨似盆傾。」進云:「某甲即不然。」師J40nB493_p0510c15云:「你又作麼生?」進云:「扇子𨁝跳上三十三天,築著帝J40nB493_p0510c16釋鼻孔,東海鯉魚打一棒,雨似盆傾。」師云:「獅兒端的J40nB493_p0510c17掀獅案,鳳子果能宿鳳巢。」僧指師云:「者老漢納敗。」師J40nB493_p0510c18召後堂,云:「養子莫惜飯米多。」問:「剎竿頭上深深禮拜,J40nB493_p0510c19如何接待?」師卓杖,云:「拄杖透過三十三天。」進云:「二十J40nB493_p0510c20四諸天,文的文、武的武,向那裏安身立命?」師云:「急須J40nB493_p0510c21禮拜。」進云:「教曰是法平等,因甚又有僧相不一?」師云:J40nB493_p0510c22「那裏是不一處?」僧擬議,師云:「作家,作家。」乃云:「八角磨J40nB493_p0510c23盤空裏走,黃河一度清。金毛獅子化作狗,笑殺旁觀。J40nB493_p0510c24擬欲將身北斗藏,死水不潛龍。背手合掌南宸後,憐J40nB493_p0510c25兒不覺醜。拙上座連月以來,自覺慚皇,不啻一個失J40nB493_p0510c26婚女子,終朝與人做媒,自家頭白。所以道:『只知事逐J40nB493_p0510c27眼前過,不覺老從頭上來。』昨在蠙川拖泥帶水,今來J40nB493_p0510c28昭武帶水拖泥。知者道是牽犁拽耙,不知者道是利J40nB493_p0510c29鎖名韁。仔細低回,自家好笑。且道笑個甚麼?笑那十J40nB493_p0510c30字街頭打關王卦的劉鐵嘴,手裏捏了兩片筶子,終J40nB493_p0511a01日砐磕敲,午炊未舉早餐消。行遍長街并短巷,沒個J40nB493_p0511a02秕錢插在腰。泰山廟裏石當敢,聞得從空躍出,激切J40nB493_p0511a03指責而呵曰:『樸夫長老!盡謂你是一個明眼宗師,誰J40nB493_p0511a04知你是一個流俗阿師。我天竺寺從彌勒下生,今日J40nB493_p0511a05請戒,始作稀有廣大佛事。請你華王座上打卦,把將J40nB493_p0511a06一把火,照看臉皮厚多少。』山僧被他一拶,通身汗流,J40nB493_p0511a07誠惶誠恐,如面至尊曰:『酒逢知己飲,詩向會人吟。相J40nB493_p0511a08識滿天下,知心能幾人。』他說事則事,只是未在。隨向J40nB493_p0511a09井裏把一把塳塵一攃,紫氣騰空,騎起山上鯉魚而J40nB493_p0511a10高歌曰:『黯淡灘,黯淡灘,十隻船兒九隻翻。惟有三山J40nB493_p0511a11陳上舍,肩把傘兒岸上行。奈我何,莫把是非來辯我,J40nB493_p0511a12浮生穿鑿不相關。』」復云:「實拙才疏德寡,一向仰臥雲J40nB493_p0511a13霄,無愿入廛垂手。今者何幸,J40nB493_p0511a14寵遇恩光,更喜大城菴求戒。融星請拙陞座,不免河J40nB493_p0511a15邊賣水、米店誇糠,豈能盡善?」舉:「宋太宗皇帝幸相國J40nB493_p0511a16寺,問看經僧:『是什麼經?』對曰:『人皇經。』曰:『既是寡人經,J40nB493_p0511a17卻在卿手裏。』僧無對。」師云:「太宗雖是日月無私,奈明J40nB493_p0511a18珠投暗,爭似我J40nB493_p0511a19皇J40nB493_p0511a20聖德浩蕩, 詔以毘尼示天下衲僧,芟榛淨穢,緇素分J40nB493_p0511a21明,使巖穴之士枯木回春、寒崖發焰,孰不J40nB493_p0511a22嵩祝萬萬年?臣即駑駘,難逃J40nB493_p0511a23至化,且遇現前諸位縉紳先生,共將補袞調羹手,撥轉J40nB493_p0511a24如來正法輪。」
J40nB493_p0511a25據室。「者裏雖是與汝諸人解粘去縛底處所,然座上J40nB493_p0511a26無老僧,目前無闍黎,石火電光,擬議之間,喪身失命。J40nB493_p0511a27何故?看腳下。」復云:「滑。」
J40nB493_p0511a28開鐘板。「盡謂頂門眼正、肘後符靈,馬大師傳八十四J40nB493_p0511a29員善知識,箇箇屙漉漉地,惟有歸宗略較些子。今日J40nB493_p0511a30到來,一齊按下雲頭,逐一勘過了,打到個裏,無論他J40nB493_p0511b01甘與不甘,山僧秪要令行。」遂擊一聲。
J40nB493_p0511b02開雲板。「古人云:『變熟成生則易,變生成熟則難。』難易J40nB493_p0511b03則且置,不立生熟一句作麼生道?冷灶著一把。」遂擊J40nB493_p0511b04一聲云:「此乃金石之言。」
J40nB493_p0511b05上堂。白椎竟,師云:「山僧未出天竺方丈,早是第一義J40nB493_p0511b06了也。待諸人三陣擊子迎至大乘堂上,豈止落二落J40nB493_p0511b07三,直得七花八裂去也。不見道:『有念盡為煩惱鎖,無J40nB493_p0511b08心端坐水晶宮。』雖然,直饒截斷古今葛藤、掀翻是非J40nB493_p0511b09窩臼,猶是泥裏洗土。我更要問你諸人:撫州東文昌J40nB493_p0511b10橋與西文昌橋終日鬥額則且置,千金坡水滸寺前J40nB493_p0511b11獨角鐵牛時時刻刻在汝諸人鼻孔出入是第幾機?J40nB493_p0511b12道得者,先師缽囊子對眾兩手分付,試出眾道看。」眾J40nB493_p0511b13無語。「如無,山僧自道去也。大乘寺傳旺設齋供眾,少J40nB493_p0511b14選隨例餐鎚子,也得三文買草鞋。」
J40nB493_p0511b15上堂。問:「山河J40nB493_p0511b16天子壽,日月J40nB493_p0511b17聖人心, 詔天下衲僧悉以三壇具滿,以何報謝J40nB493_p0511b18聖恩?」師云:J40nB493_p0511b19「陛下萬歲,萬歲,萬萬歲。」進云:「設高沙彌到來又作麼生?」J40nB493_p0511b20「正好與他然香九炷。」進云:「恁麼則難逃 至化。」師云:J40nB493_p0511b21「幾乎撞破露柱鼻孔。」問:「萬法歸一,一歸何處?」師以杖J40nB493_p0511b22約住,云:「諦聽,一歸何處?宿日殘年,茅堂何其月冷?今J40nB493_p0511b23冬臘月,竹戶不甚風凄。冰枯雪稿之時,正覺珠溫玉J40nB493_p0511b24暖;鼓寂鐘沉之候,翻成蜀錦吳綾。到個裏,正是補處J40nB493_p0511b25彌勒,卍字當胸,又有何戒可受?何道可悟?何佛可成?J40nB493_p0511b26祖師鼻孔撩不著,仲尼舌頭說不申。然雖如是,畢藉J40nB493_p0511b27阿誰之力,藂林寺揭王字升濟菴得飽參,薦福梵剎J40nB493_p0511b28一棒擢瞎,以何為驗?」擲下拄杖,云:「是甚麼?是一枚鐵J40nB493_p0511b29釘。有個漢出來道:『不是,不是,是個蜻蜓。許你不枉見J40nB493_p0511b30牧亭。』」
J40nB493_p0511c01上堂。一僧出,師云:「作家相見則且置,赤眼撞著火柴J40nB493_p0511c02頭是如何?」僧便喝,師云:「好箇護身符子。」僧復問:「鬧哄J40nB493_p0511c03哄,天崩地裂;靜悄悄,鬼家活計。正恁麼時,如何施設?」J40nB493_p0511c04師振威一喝。進云:「世尊睹星悟道,未審睹何星而悟?」J40nB493_p0511c05師云:「切忌錯認定盤星。」進云:「天竺今日三壇完備,眾J40nB493_p0511c06中果有幾人具慶?」師云:「無星盤子打不下。」進云:「末二J40nB493_p0511c07位請法飯僧,領何福慧?」師云:「燈籠跳上梵闕。」問:「拄杖J40nB493_p0511c08在曲盝床上,佯狂大叫作什麼?」師云:「打破髑髏。」「草鞋J40nB493_p0511c09在十字街頭,亂打𨁝跳作什麼?」師云:「四條筋未斷。」進J40nB493_p0511c10云:「磨盤放戒,燈籠發心,東西南北,向何處皈依?」師云:J40nB493_p0511c11「虛空釘橛樁。」僧禮謝,師云:「切莫詐明頭。」師以拄杖東J40nB493_p0511c12邊卓一卓,云:「明星現耶?」復向西邊卓一卓,示:「世尊悟J40nB493_p0511c13耶?」放下拄杖,云:「總是瞎貓撞著死老鼠,推車就壁,如J40nB493_p0511c14靈龜負圖,自取喪身之兆。不見道:『夜半風霜壞肚皮,J40nB493_p0511c15青白地上屎離離,渠儂不自知慚愧,猶向空街訴潔J40nB493_p0511c16詞。』所以家無白𤢟之圖,必無如是妖怪。就中有個漢J40nB493_p0511c17出來道:『長老坐不知立,飽不知饑,秪會坐家說太平J40nB493_p0511c18話。』向道:『蒼天!蒼天!我固不敢輕於汝等,汝等皆當作J40nB493_p0511c19佛。』」乃高聲喚云:「義竭慧鶴,空將未歸意,說與欲行人。」
