J40nB490_p0465c04達磨因武帝問:「如何是聖諦第一義?」祖曰:「廓然無聖。」J40nB490_p0465c05帝曰:「對朕者誰?」祖曰:「不識。」
司空璨信心銘曰:「六塵不惡,還同正覺。」
拈曰:「喚什麼作六塵?喚什麼作正覺?但見皇風成一J40nB490_p0465c12片,更於何處覓封疆?」
J40nB490_p0465c13頌曰:「六塵不惡,眾生諾諾。還同正覺,翻成穿鑿。休穿J40nB490_p0465c14鑿,弄斧班門總是錯。」
黃梅信一日路逢一小兒,骨相奇秀,異乎常童。信問J40nB490_p0465c16曰:「子何姓?」曰:「姓即有,不是常姓。」信曰:「是何姓?」曰:「是佛J40nB490_p0465c17姓。」信曰:「汝無姓耶?」曰:「姓空故無。」祖默識其法器。
拈曰:「路逢達道人,不將語默接。四祖叨叨問:姓眼在J40nB490_p0465c19什麼處?」
J40nB490_p0465c20頌曰:「言行不相應,灼然此佛子,雖為再來人,未必偷J40nB490_p0465c21心死。」
曹溪能寓法性寺,因風颺剎旛,有二僧對論,一曰旛J40nB490_p0465c23動,一曰風動,持論不決。能乃曰:「不是風動,不是旛動,J40nB490_p0465c24仁者心動。」
拈曰:「大小祖師,錯下名言。博山則不然,不是風動,不J40nB490_p0465c26是旛動,不是心動。有問:『畢竟如何?』動也,動也。」
J40nB490_p0465c27青原思令石頭遷馳書與南嶽讓,且囑曰:「回時吾有J40nB490_p0465c30箇鈯斧子與汝住山因緣。」
拈曰:「久要不忘平生之言,思祖固得之矣。言在飛龍J40nB490_p0466a02之前,行在跛鱉之後,石頭豈能免乎?雖然,垂下足處J40nB490_p0466a03還當得鈯斧子麼?切忌驢鞍橋作阿爺下頷。」
J40nB490_p0466a04頌曰:「貪他一粒米,失卻半年糧。要覓住山斧,還須自J40nB490_p0466a05主張。」
石頭遷因藥山問:「三乘十二分教,惟儼麤知。常聞南J40nB490_p0466a07方直指人心,見性成佛,實未明了因緣。」
拈曰:「藥山一樣設問,石頭馬祖一樣應答,因什石頭J40nB490_p0466a09言下不會,馬祖句下省去?噫!石壓筍斜出,巖懸花倒J40nB490_p0466a10生。」
J40nB490_p0466a11頌曰:「一是一切是,一非一切非。恁麼不恁麼,兩兩豈J40nB490_p0466a12相違。」
藥山儼久不陞座,院主白曰:「大眾久思法誨,請和尚J40nB490_p0466a14說法」因緣。
拈曰:「古今品評,盡謂藥山陞座,壁立萬仞,及至院主J40nB490_p0466a16一拶,忘前失後。殊不知古佛無家風,對揚遭貶剝,何J40nB490_p0466a17待院主問時,始見龍頭蛇尾?博山恁麼判斷,還遭人J40nB490_p0466a18檢點麼?自首者免罪。」
J40nB490_p0466a19頌曰:「靡不有其初,鮮能有其終。藥山與院主,對坐隔J40nB490_p0466a20千峰。」
洞山价因僧問:「寒暑到來,如何迴避?」山曰:「何不向無J40nB490_p0466a22寒暑處去?」曰:如何是無寒暑處?山曰:「寒時寒殺闍黎,J40nB490_p0466a23熱時熱殺闍黎。」
拈曰:「事存函蓋合,理應箭鋒拄,洞山可稱作家。秪如J40nB490_p0466a25寒暑不相干,未審是甚麼人行履?彼既丈夫我亦爾,J40nB490_p0466a26不應自輕而退屈。」
J40nB490_p0466a27頌曰:「名顯聲彌隱,身逃跡愈彰。洞山寒暑句,切忌錯J40nB490_p0466a28商量。」
梁山觀上堂,因真園頭出問:「家賊難防時如何?」山曰:J40nB490_p0466a30「識得不為冤」因緣。
拈曰:「梁山酬機,千古號稱白璧,怎柰二十代後有箇J40nB490_p0466b02博山不肯點頭?當時待問:『家賊難防時如何?』若道得J40nB490_p0466b03兩箇賊字,不獨令真公當下脫卻鶻臭布衫,亦免自J40nB490_p0466b04己袈裟打濕。」
J40nB490_p0466b05頌曰:「不假鎗旗力,問誰知此恩?同門常出入,識得不J40nB490_p0466b06為冤。」
太陽玄上堂:「夜半烏雞抱鵠卵,天明起來生老鸛。鶴J40nB490_p0466b08毛鷹嘴鷺鷥身,卻共烏鴉為侶伴。高入煙霄,低飛柳J40nB490_p0466b09岸。向晚歸來仔細看,依稀卻似雲中鴈。」
拈曰:「太陽恁麼拈示,足微老婆徹困,卻是遭人笑怪。J40nB490_p0466b11既類之不齊,混則知處,又用許多描摸作麼?」
J40nB490_p0466b12頌曰:「夫子不識字,達磨不會禪。太陽徒比擬,紙裏復J40nB490_p0466b13麻纏。」
投子青因僧問:「師唱誰家曲,宗風嗣阿誰?」子曰:「威音J40nB490_p0466b15前一箭,射透兩重山」因緣。
拈曰:「射透兩重山,投子好隻箭。且道喚甚麼作箭?逢J40nB490_p0466b17人不得錯舉。」
J40nB490_p0466b18頌曰:「欲知荊玉異,須透威音前。人事雖云別,歲寒心J40nB490_p0466b19愈堅。」
芙蓉楷在投子作典座,子曰:「廚務勾當不易。」蓉曰:「不J40nB490_p0466b21敢。」因緣。
拈曰:「博山敢問芙蓉:『為人自肯乃方親,因甚要和尚J40nB490_p0466b23放他閒去?』若然,秪恐忙殺。」
J40nB490_p0466b24頌曰:「受祿無功漢,自應趁出山。謂憐惜勤苦,且放爾J40nB490_p0466b25閒閒。」
拈曰:「處處不覓自得,秪有一處覓即不得。且道是那J40nB490_p0466b29一處?已露賊身,放過不可。」
J40nB490_p0466b30頌曰:「一處不須覓,銀山與鐵壁,直饒親透過,端的非J40nB490_p0466c01端的。」
普照辨因大明寶問:「離四句,絕百非,請師直指西來J40nB490_p0466c03意。」照曰:「昨日有人恁麼問」因緣。
王山體示眾:「既有尊貴之位,須明尊貴底人。須知尊J40nB490_p0466c09貴底人不處尊貴之位,方明尊貴不落階級。」
拈曰:「我有三十棒要打太原。為什麼?不合推人落在J40nB490_p0466c11階級?」
J40nB490_p0466c12頌曰:「得到家山後,黃金當土用。未明尊貴人,難免多J40nB490_p0466c13珍重。」
雪巖滿初參普照,照曰:「兄弟年少,正宜力參,老僧當J40nB490_p0466c15年念念以佛法為事。」巖避席,進曰:「和尚而今如何?」照J40nB490_p0466c16曰:「如生冤家相似。」巖曰:「若不得此語,幾乎枉行千里。」J40nB490_p0466c17照下禪床,握巖手曰:「作家那!」
拈曰:「普照善能相頭賣帽、看風用帆,秪是膽小。當時J40nB490_p0466c19待雪巖曰:『而今又如何?』不妨再道箇『念念以佛法為J40nB490_p0466c20事』,豈不令者漢一生疑殺?」
J40nB490_p0466c21頌曰:「看風便用帆,收放不離手。賺殺滿禪和,隨群千J40nB490_p0466c22里走。」
萬松秀示眾:「機輪轉處,智眼猶迷;寶鏡開時,纖塵不J40nB490_p0466c24度。開拳不落地,應物善知時,兩刃相逢時,如何回互?」
拈曰:「激揚曹洞心髓,發明正偏回互,報恩固稱好手,J40nB490_p0466c26還有遭人檢點處也無?鴛鴦枕上雙行淚,半是思君J40nB490_p0466c27半恨君。」
J40nB490_p0466c28雪庭裕因僧問:「如何是祖師西來意?」庭曰:「待乳峰點J40nB490_p0467a01頭,即向汝道。」
拈曰:「雪庭恁麼荅話,若論西來意,猶隔乳峰在。」
J40nB490_p0467a03頌曰:「乳峰點首處,萬派悉朝宗。石上春煙起,幽禽噪J40nB490_p0467a04古松。」
靈隱泰上堂:「塵劫來事,只在於今。河沙妙德,總在心J40nB490_p0467a06源。試教伊覿面相呈,便不解當風拈出。且道過在甚J40nB490_p0467a07麼處?」卓拄杖,曰:「秪為分明極,翻令所得遲。」
拈曰:「靈隱河邊賣水,日下挑燈;博山當陽捉敗,要伊J40nB490_p0467a09喫棒。得麼?官不容針,私通車馬。」
J40nB490_p0467a10頌曰:「托出鎮海珠,光輝徹晝夜,分明覿面呈,是誰能J40nB490_p0467a11著價?」
拈曰:「西來的意本自分明,寶應不合將泉聲花影籠J40nB490_p0467a15罩一上。且道作麼生免得?待虛空撲落,即向汝道。」
J40nB490_p0467a16拈曰:「烏龜向火,還有向者裏見得者麼?」顧視左右,云:J40nB490_p0467a21「啼得血流無處用,不如緘口過殘春。」
J40nB490_p0467a22月舟載掩關,因閱萬松拈提古宿機緣若面墻者,久J40nB490_p0467a25之忽有省,乃曰:「曹洞宗風有織錦回文之功,非針線J40nB490_p0467a26細密、盤旋回互、不觸當頭者,不能與伊作主也。」既而J40nB490_p0467a27翻然出關,參無方從公乃大了徹,從撫而印之。
拈曰:「回文織錦,原不借他人之力,翻然參從,豈別有J40nB490_p0467a29所得耶?脫或未信,幾度關中招不出,將身且向外頭J40nB490_p0467a30看。」
J40nB490_p0467b01頌曰:「不識把針人,要伊作主宰。雖然得大徹,猶似隔J40nB490_p0467b02滄海。」
廩山忠祖參宗鏡,問曰:「古人道:『見性成佛。』作麼生得J40nB490_p0467b04見性成佛?」鏡曰:「性如舌在口裏,要見作麼?佛是乾屎J40nB490_p0467b05橛,要成作麼?」師無語。鏡口:「汝但看佛,如何是乾屎橛?」J40nB490_p0467b06師由是服勤二載,深有悟入。一日辭歸,鏡付以偈曰:J40nB490_p0467b07「宗鏡門下一株松,不知歷夏與經冬。人間未許閒相J40nB490_p0467b08識,長年占斷白雲封。白雲封,日正紅,一株迸出笑春J40nB490_p0467b09風。」後歸隱廩山,人無知者。一日,因壽昌經與人論金J40nB490_p0467b10剛義甚快,師聞之笑曰:「宗眼不明,非為究竟。」昌大驚,J40nB490_p0467b11便問:「如何是宗眼?」師拂衣而起,於是四眾響風,履盈J40nB490_p0467b12戶外。
拈曰:「廩山遠祖本是箇淨白衲僧,無端撞入宗鏡,被J40nB490_p0467b14他惡水重潑,抱痛歸隱。遇著祖翁問箇宗眼,便乃拂J40nB490_p0467b15衣而起,直得屎橛臭氣遍界難藏。雖然,即今還有聞J40nB490_p0467b16共氣息者麼?」遂掩鼻,云:「噁。」
J40nB490_p0467b17頌曰:「性如舌在口,佛似一橛屎。所以問宗眼,拂衣而J40nB490_p0467b18便起。」
壽昌經祖問僧:「趙州道:『臺山婆,我為汝勘破了也。』畢J40nB490_p0467b20竟勘破在什麼處?」僧曰:「和尚今日敗闕了也。」昌曰:「老J40nB490_p0467b21僧一生也不柰何,好教你知。若實會,舉似來看。」僧擬J40nB490_p0467b22進語,昌打一棒,云:「者掠虛漢。」
拈曰:「壽昌老漢雖具陷虎機,只是難瞞識者。者僧平J40nB490_p0467b24地喫交,直是堪憐。當時待伊說箇老僧一生也不柰J40nB490_p0467b25何,即向他道:『恁麼那?』直教者老漢有棒也拈不出。」
J40nB490_p0467b26頌曰:「勘破在何處?驗僧憑甚據?機輪忽轉時,擬議棒J40nB490_p0467b27難恕。」
博山來祖因壽昌以玄則禪師荅僧問龍吟霧起,虎J40nB490_p0467b29嘯風生話命頌,師頌云:「殺活爭雄各有奇,糢糊肉眼J40nB490_p0467b30曷能知?吐光不遂時流意,依舊春風逐馬啼。」
拈曰:「殺人須用活人刀,活人須用殺人劍。還有知得J40nB490_p0467c02師翁用處者麼?殺活爭雄各有奇,糢糊肉眼曷能知?J40nB490_p0467c03雖然,師翁無此語,莫謗師翁好。」
J40nB490_p0467c04雪澗奉本師上堂:水之湄,山之麓,是處是桃花,是處J40nB490_p0467c07是修竹,紅者紅兮綠者綠,一般性質出天然,直者直J40nB490_p0467c08兮曲者曲,知歸謾謂許靈雲,善用休誇只多福,究竟J40nB490_p0467c09其中委宛情,總是畫蛇重添足。不添足,六六誰云三J40nB490_p0467c10十六?拈頭作尾尾為頭,饑來喫飯困來宿。咄!
拈曰:「拈紅作綠,指直作曲,此是老漢尋常茶飯,還有J40nB490_p0467c12識他當機殺活處麼?靈雲多福,被他推落萬丈深坑;J40nB490_p0467c13博山不忍坐觀,要為古人出氣。敢問老漢:平地坑人J40nB490_p0467c14又作麼生?」
J40nB490_p0467c15頌曰:「桃花與修竹,總是一般春。舊閣閑田地,拈來越J40nB490_p0467c16樣新。」

J40nB490_p0467c25圓覺大士開光。「今佛放光明,天然非雕琢,助揚實相J40nB490_p0467c26義,炯炯鑑五濁。諸昆仲!要識今佛放光麼?」以筆點光,J40nB490_p0467c27云:「難免雕琢。」
J40nB490_p0467c28重裝伽藍閒光。「相將法社為屏翰,必有鄰兮德不孤,J40nB490_p0467c29坐看一堂新氣象,慧光赫赫振規模。」
J40nB490_p0467c30雲棲太祖忌日拈香。「太翁一自歸安養,踞位稱師滿J40nB490_p0468a01大千,風雨滔滔濁浪惡,眾生沉溺望誰憐?酸心難禁J40nB490_p0468a02臨筵淚,焉得翁來再鼓鞭?」
J40nB490_p0468a03壽昌太祖忌日,拈香。「一钁鋤開先博山,蒼松翠柏共J40nB490_p0468a04攢攢,太翁忌奠聊呈獻,象任驢乘力豈殫?」遂作女人J40nB490_p0468a05拜,云:「下里巴歌從節拍,自來雪曲和人難。」
J40nB490_p0468a06峰頂老和尚忌日,拈香。「五雲月照鵝湖峰,梵網應知J40nB490_p0468a07撒向東,突出高標豎博嶺,南山燒火北山紅。」遂豎拳,J40nB490_p0468a08云:「歲歲堂前陳供奠,幸緣今日恰相逢。」
J40nB490_p0468a09掃開山異祖和上塔。「市尾街頭是寶林,忍看古佛亦J40nB490_p0468a10盈盈,師翁堂奧始終密,誰效諸方造次行?今日塔前J40nB490_p0468a11陳供養,蓋由師命逼頻頻。雖然,畢竟門庭作麼生克J40nB490_p0468a12紹?」拈袈裟角,云:「萬方龍象袈裟下,百億山河拄杖生。」
J40nB490_p0468a13開山老和尚誕辰,拈香。「大唐誰說無禪師?過水逢渠J40nB490_p0468a14應自知,九十六年今日事,黑頭產得白頭兒。大眾!如J40nB490_p0468a15何是今日事?粗香一炷茶三盞,祈我師翁來格之。」
J40nB490_p0468a16開山和尚百歲。「吾祖有大願,豈住涅槃城。茲逢百歲J40nB490_p0468a17日,淚雨洒盈盈。再整頹綱句,聊藉此香呈。早醒彼長J40nB490_p0468a18夜,頓回天地心。」
J40nB490_p0468a19雪關和尚誕辰,拈香。「六載關中,時刻鞭牧,一朝出山,J40nB490_p0468a20東觸西觸,不肯門庭首克紹,大地至今歌雪曲。正恁J40nB490_p0468a21麼時,且道如何是八十五年前底事?」良久,云:「谷呱谷呱。」
J40nB490_p0468a22古航和尚忌辰,拈香。「曾輥雪峰毬,復擊博山鼓,壁立J40nB490_p0468a23視諸方,不將一語吐。去世雖云十五秋,凌霜勁節範J40nB490_p0468a24今古。」
J40nB490_p0468a25浪和尚忌辰,拈香。「宗門柱石,眾生梯航,弘法是任,普J40nB490_p0468a26應多方。緣天樓畔相期後,切切於衷弗暫忘,今日一J40nB490_p0468a27回特舉及,殷勤聊熱此爐香。」
J40nB490_p0468a28為澗老和尚掛真。「荷擔大法二十餘年,盤根錯節,松J40nB490_p0468a29操益堅,起法門頹綱,激後進英賢,且道是甚麼人行J40nB490_p0468a30履?」展真云:「看看,夜半烏雞頭戴雪,此語從教天下傳。」
J40nB490_p0468b01為澗老和尚起龕入塔。「師歸密室,法屬雲集,大眾瞻J40nB490_p0468b02仰,取足後悔弗及。悔弗及,水上東山行不住,三箇木J40nB490_p0468b03人相對泣。」
J40nB490_p0468b04澗老和尚誕辰,拈香。「披衣踞坐法堂前,風景依稀似J40nB490_p0468b05去年,側耳不聞師謦咳,低頭難禁淚潸然。蒼天苦,苦J40nB490_p0468b06蒼天,卻悔當年錯仔扃,忘軀出眾怡師老,師今已矣J40nB490_p0468b07復何宣?蒼天苦,哭蒼天,鬱鬱旃檀爐內爇,空疏祈恕J40nB490_p0468b08不成筵。」
J40nB490_p0468b09澗老和尚誕日,塔成合尖。「期完窣堵慶師生,今值師J40nB490_p0468b10生窣堵成,獨是不堪瞻仰處,峰前惟見曉猿驚。噫!無J40nB490_p0468b11澗老和尚二週。舞風老鶴忘歸棲,巢滿白雲樹滿枝,J40nB490_p0468b12綠暗階前經兩度,空懷健翮望天涯。正恁麼時,先師J40nB490_p0468b13還受供也未?謾道來時已無口,香煙起處見端倪。」
J40nB490_p0468b14澗老人三週。「九夏雪飛還記否,摧殘大樹已三年。陰J40nB490_p0468b15涼回首知何處,路上行人苦怨天。慰諸人,謾含冤,孝J40nB490_p0468b16滿曹山稱酒顛。」
J40nB490_p0468b17送鼎湖棲壑和尚入法會堂。「雙桂移栽嶺外山,天香J40nB490_p0468b18陣陣佈人間。寶林風送歸根旨,大樹堂中會祖班。」
J40nB490_p0468b19送嗣部黃元公入法會堂。師捧神主云:「恭惟海岸居J40nB490_p0468b20士,道眼圓明,行藏卓絕,貞忠貫日,儒釋作則。入先祖J40nB490_p0468b21閫奧,心髓相符;探諸方門庭,對機鮮忒。續燈錄上星J40nB490_p0468b22光燦燦餘輝,博嶠堂中也少此位不得。」遂安位。
J40nB490_p0468b23送中天剡和尚木主入法會堂。「跳出葛藤進博山,天J40nB490_p0468b24中歸去接愚頑,風刀解體都忘顧,剩有閒名宇宙間。」J40nB490_p0468b25遂拈起木主云:「且道今日事如何?浩浩宇宙舊題目,J40nB490_p0468b26父兄聚首共盤桓。」
J40nB490_p0468b27修普同塔起工,拈香。「爾安我安,彼此喜歡,日炙風吹,J40nB490_p0468b28豈忍坐看?」卓拄杖,云:「今日特為重整頓,眉毛剔起好J40nB490_p0468b29生觀。」喝一喝。
J40nB490_p0468b30普同塔完工,拈香:「舊公案已結斷,團圞無縫鏬,打鼓J40nB490_p0468c01普請看。」以坐具打○相,云:「看!看!凡聖都盧在此中,靈J40nB490_p0468c02光一道騰霄漢。」

J40nB490_p0468c04「停寄荒園四十年,滄桑眼底幾更遷。堪嗟身後寒猶J40nB490_p0468c05寂,一脈誰能斷復連。世事自來如曉露,高懷豈為幻J40nB490_p0468c06情牽。不將俗套重相告,聊敬盃茶一陌錢。」
J40nB490_p0468c07蘆田和尚訃至。「去秋接得西江信,祖誕相期來問訊,J40nB490_p0468c08拄杖如何不順情?鴈王蘆裏先驚陣。要識不順情處J40nB490_p0468c09麼?未許節上生枝,流水行雲謾趁。」
J40nB490_p0468c10宗瑞曇書記火。「歷年蔗墨書空,畢竟以何為宗?燄裏J40nB490_p0468c11優曇呈瑞,一枝迸笑春風。」
J40nB490_p0468c12奇生端上座火。「法社正期著力,何事匆匆便去?快須J40nB490_p0468c13撇轉頭來,聽我為君指注。」擲炬,云:「西方極樂雖殊,未J40nB490_p0468c14許禪人長踞。」
J40nB490_p0468c15無名氏火。「姓不得,名不得,喚你作甚麼?霜颯颯,雨蕭J40nB490_p0468c16蕭,老年行腳興猶高。破衲幪頭歸去也,西方國土任J40nB490_p0468c17逍遙。」
J40nB490_p0468c18體一火頭火。「挈挈跛跛,經年燒火。拋下柴頭,帖帖妥J40nB490_p0468c19妥。山僧無物酬君勞,聊贈紅蓮花一朵。」
J40nB490_p0468c20一亨淨頭火。「昔浴我水,今酬汝火。得牛還馬,無可不J40nB490_p0468c21可。」
J40nB490_p0468c22正根禪人火。舉火炬云:「不昧天真,根培正因,十四年J40nB490_p0468c23來,矢志日新。作麼生是日新的事?幾番招手不思歸,J40nB490_p0468c24俗舍常言非我親。」
J40nB490_p0468c25拈來莖禪人火。「莖草拈來,覿體全彰,還家就路,不用J40nB490_p0468c26商量。」
J40nB490_p0468c27程內人起柩。「斜陽入屋角,倦鳥返幽棲。就位在今日,J40nB490_p0468c28相攜歸故溪。」揮鋤云:「放汝出頭地,毋淹此水泥。」
J40nB490_p0468c29舉火。「門裏出身易,身裏出門難。嫁衣能脫卻,隨處是J40nB490_p0468c30家山。且道娘未生時脫箇甚麼?得到家山後,風光仔J40nB490_p0469a01細看。」
J40nB490_p0469a02復初真禪人火。「初年析薪,老復擔荷,斧彌柯消,須識J40nB490_p0469a03者箇。」下火云:「諾。」
J40nB490_p0469a04永崖大師起龕。「初春秉拂,一眾欣然,忽聞別偈,令我J40nB490_p0469a05憂煎。人道汝頭正尾正,我道汝孝行未全。那裏是未J40nB490_p0469a06全處?」以手拽龕,云:「新婦騎驢阿家牽。」
J40nB490_p0469a07照已知藏火。「歷年執事叢林,羨汝難行能行。照破目J40nB490_p0469a08前萬緣,己躬事作麼生?識得燈原是火,何妨幻影變J40nB490_p0469a09更。」

J40nB490_p0469a17印雪監院起龕。「要識毘盧印子,請看草鞋蹋雪,而今J40nB490_p0469a18將逐符行,特來為汝一說。」卓拄杖,云:「起。」
J40nB490_p0469a19迥如耆宿起龕。「識得一,萬事畢,住岸卻迷人……」以手引J40nB490_p0469a20龕云:「翻身在此日。」
J40nB490_p0469a21德容禪人火。「大地鼎沸,汝何免苦?惟德乃容,攜歸樂J40nB490_p0469a22土。睹赤手空拳恁麼行,彌陀記取是慈父。」
J40nB490_p0469a23慈蔭知賓火。「進前思退後,退後復思前。一朝火性發,J40nB490_p0469a24燒盡者纏綿。栽松道者機緣熟,再來慈蔭覆三千。」
J40nB490_p0469a25玄和尚封龕。「逆行順行,東拄西撐,虛空撲落,滿目雲J40nB490_p0469a26生。咄!」
J40nB490_p0469a27起龕。「羅龍打鳳,於今八年,適當此際,何以為宣?咦!約J40nB490_p0469a28則退後,抴則向前。」
J40nB490_p0469a29入祖堂。「新婦騎驢阿家牽,難禁臨風兩淚漣。含哀相J40nB490_p0469a30送入家會,芳名千古並先賢。」
J40nB490_p0469b01靈鷲義和尚起龕。「耳食訃音,眼淚盆傾,失我良徒,哭J40nB490_p0469b02不成聲。」遂云:「起。還期莫戀,安養早回,伴我餘生。」
J40nB490_p0469b03舉火。「恭惟靈鷲義長老,建梵剎於荊棘叢中,遠近仰J40nB490_p0469b04止;耕風雨於光相洞邊,緇素欽風。今朝果滿功成,如J40nB490_p0469b05何折合?」下火,云:「磨盤八角走空中,象王驚起火中吼。」
J40nB490_p0469b06素鶴禪師靈骨入塔。「紫雲巖畔紫雲封,巖主了忘一J40nB490_p0469b07色功,雲散巖空流水杳,通玄猶自覓遺蹤。還見鶴禪J40nB490_p0469b08師遺蹤麼?」入骨,云:「翱翔霄漢出銀籠。」

J40nB490_p0471c02師諱弘瀚,字粟如,勺菴其別號也。世居江西廣永豐J40nB490_p0471c03邑東之梅溪,明鳳陽司理忠貞余公子,昆季三,師出J40nB490_p0471c04仲焉。自幼天資穎異,補弟子員。年十六,以尊人受知J40nB490_p0471c05唐邸,得召見,賜廕襲,不受讓兄,復賜克敦孝友寵額,J40nB490_p0471c06仍授兵部職,從戎立效。定鼎後,終不改尊人忠貞之J40nB490_p0471c07志,矢心忠孝。二十一齡,棄而為僧,師事博山雪澗,奉J40nB490_p0471c08祖示以船子藏身公案,默究之。後隨祖住瀛山,一夕J40nB490_p0471c09聞鬼嘯,頓契破灶墮因緣。質見祖,祖曰:「侍者將糞箕J40nB490_p0471c10來。」師掩鼻即出,自是應機無礙。一日,因聞澗祖示眾J40nB490_p0471c11云:「近來瀛山佛法變了。或問:『有夢有想主人公』,我便J40nB490_p0471c12擲下竹篦;『無夢無想主人公』,我便豎起竹篦。」處,復致J40nB490_p0471c13疑於胸。年二十四,值母逝,盡孝治喪,哀毀骨立。及後J40nB490_p0471c14往參靈隱禮公,禮詰云:「世尊拈花意旨如何?」師云:「無J40nB490_p0471c15風起浪。」禮云:「迦葉微笑又作麼生?」師云:「忍俊不禁。」禮J40nB490_p0471c16云:「拈花微笑畢竟事如何?」師云:「好似雪上加霜。」禮云:J40nB490_p0471c17「大眾看看!此是諸方付法之流,在我靈隱猶未放過。」J40nB490_p0471c18遂安面壁軒打七。至第六日晨,正睡間,僯單忽以手J40nB490_p0471c19拍師云:「水來了,洗面去。」始頓釋礙膺。入見禮,禮云:「作J40nB490_p0471c20什麼?」師云:「和上已下煙波餌,曾有金鱗上釣無?」禮曰:J40nB490_p0471c21「上座聻?」師曰:「美食不中飽人餐。」禮曰:「你得個什麼消J40nB490_p0471c22息?」師展兩手,禮云:「莫草草。」師掩耳而出。禮復索頌本J40nB490_p0471c23參,師即於禮座援筆頌曰:「睡中主,無舌童兒笑語語,J40nB490_p0471c24霜餘葉落村原間,慚愧人前多錯舉。」禮閱頌曰:「且喜J40nB490_p0471c25上座喫棒有分。」解七後從受具,次年辭禮歸葬母,禮J40nB490_p0471c26堅留不獲,乃勉曰:「上座年當富強,宜自砥礪,他日歸J40nB490_p0471c27嗣博山,勿淹他家虀甕。」師拜別,歸瀛山省澗祖,祖見J40nB490_p0471c28遽問:「此時下路,佛法浩浩,因甚歸覲老僧?」師曰:「相逢J40nB490_p0471c29且喫茶。」祖曰:「且莫開此大口。」師曰:「和上更請一杯。」▆J40nB490_p0471c30宗寶和尚掃塔博山,師晉謁,因問:「從上葛藤即不問,J40nB490_p0472a01如何是第一義賓?」曰:「上座未離瀛山,早已與你道了。」J40nB490_p0472a02師云:「即今請師重宣。」寶曰:「你作麼生道?」師云:「人人山J40nB490_p0472a03外路,路路透長安。」寶曰:「你那裡學來的?」師喝云:「不妨J40nB490_p0472a04疑著。」寶云:「也不消得。」師拂袖便出。是冬,浪杖人主博J40nB490_p0472a05山席,澗祖命師持書候杖人,值博山常住失牛,杖人J40nB490_p0472a06晚參,旁僧推師出,師問:「博山既有把關在,因甚常住J40nB490_p0472a07失卻牛?」杖人云:「是誰之過?」師一喝,杖亦喝,師云:「恁麼J40nB490_p0472a08則覿面全提猶費力,隔山相見始知音。」杖云:「打折你J40nB490_p0472a09驢腰。」師云:「轉為流通去也。」杖人見師風骨俊捷、機辨J40nB490_p0472a10無礙,延師入方丈,謂曰:「汝師年邁,穎學遠隱,汝當為J40nB490_p0472a11吾首眾,他日繼住此席,庶不負吾南來為先博山求J40nB490_p0472a12人之念。」師以侍祖年老辭,遂持復書歸瀛。適綠林四J40nB490_p0472a13起,師偕同志數友結茆於玉之淨名,接澗祖避亂。未J40nB490_p0472a14幾,淨名亦遭兵燹。冬,澗祖受請住高泉。丙申春,杖人J40nB490_p0472a15以博山舊住相背,決意退去,復勒師至,命烈生和上J40nB490_p0472a16各執事扶師立住,向師作禮云:「吾千里來住博山,實J40nB490_p0472a17為求先博山座下賢能繼此法席。今公機辯雄捷,可J40nB490_p0472a18稱吾家聖箭,起先博山法道,舍公其誰?當聽吾言,幸J40nB490_p0472a19無固執。」師以澗祖在,固辭不允,杖人始從師言,請澗J40nB490_p0472a20祖再住博山。祖視篆後,立師首眾,眾皆折伏,內外肅J40nB490_p0472a21然。結冬,祖命師代座,師辭免。解七後,禁足關中歲餘。J40nB490_p0472a22戊戌夏,師乞假同玄叔隱靜宿雲。己亥冬,歸省祖,祖J40nB490_p0472a23復以博山院事命師肩,堅辭不獲,乃勸出書延耕菴J40nB490_p0472a24和上。明年庚子春,祖命師與玄叔持公啟接耕菴於J40nB490_p0472a25介岡,耕菴訂澗祖七旬誕後來山。秋,復偕玄叔走吊J40nB490_p0472a26杖人於南都攝山,晤竺菴和上,出接耕菴書稿陳竺,J40nB490_p0472a27竺勸云:「賢弟當繼主博山席,何事推讓?」師以慎重法J40nB490_p0472a28門對。辛丑,修大殿祖塔。澗祖誕後,復遣人持書速耕J40nB490_p0472a29菴主博山,耕菴復書苦辭,引身遠去,師乃集眾議為J40nB490_p0472a30澗祖建壽塔於蓮花峰下。壬寅,祖命師同玄叔募修J40nB490_p0472b01雪關和上窣堵。癸卯,集刻《澗祖錄》。甲辰,受上永檀護J40nB490_p0472b02請,應住高泉。乙巳冬,澗祖病篤,召師歸,集眾囑繼博J40nB490_p0472b03山住持,師傾淚拜受衣拂。越月,澗祖病愈,師仍將衣J40nB490_p0472b04拂送入方丈。丙午,祖命師作源流拈頌付梓。丁未春,J40nB490_p0472b05玉邑郭中尊及當道紳紟、文學瀛眾請主瀛山席,師J40nB490_p0472b06念雪伯祖創建、澗祖繼興之地,遂應請住持。夏,隨澗J40nB490_p0472b07祖掃塔壽昌。戊申冬,澗祖偶微疾,命師代座說戒,始J40nB490_p0472b08從祖命受印囑也。次年己酉春,信郡伯易菴高公聯J40nB490_p0472b09合郡宰官、七邑紳紟、同門法屬、本山勤舊、諸山碩德J40nB490_p0472b10公請師開堂博山,於是修葺殿庭,建澗祖塔,塔院百J40nB490_p0472b11廢悉舉,門庭煥然一新。時異太祖座下嗣法門人各J40nB490_p0472b12皆旺化,惟雪關伯祖法道寥寥,鮮繼起者,師嘗致己J40nB490_p0472b13嘆焉,乃退瀛山之席,推雲岫巒公衍關伯祖法脈。師J40nB490_p0472b14座下時英材濟濟,或勸師立己嗣,師云:「吾不欲以祖J40nB490_p0472b15庭視為己業。」越年辛亥,編刻異太祖《法錄》二部,費五J40nB490_p0472b16伯金,一送附藏,一存山流通。曩永邑遭金籓變亂,人J40nB490_p0472b17民死傷萬計,枯骸遍地,師啟邑侯夏收葬之。師盡孝J40nB490_p0472b18終身,為父忠貞公立墓道,建敕葬牌坊,重砌墳塋,鐫J40nB490_p0472b19刻文集。或譏師善知識,香資不宜俗用。師答云:「爾豈J40nB490_p0472b20不見昔佛世尊父淨梵王薨,躬率弟子負棺殮葬乎?J40nB490_p0472b21又教中載佛言:『父母有正信者,當全奉衣缽資供養。』J40nB490_p0472b22吾先君先慈精忠勁節,余為佛奴,傭工之資以供父J40nB490_p0472b23母,似可無媿。」甲寅變亂,偽將汪文生啟耿藩,欲師易J40nB490_p0472b24服從戊,耿命偽道金傳諭至山,師毅然鳴鼓示眾,有J40nB490_p0472b25「照用機輪事事忘,安容更道振戈旅」之句。卻耿藩書J40nB490_p0472b26略云:「瀚不時之人,偷生方外,休心息念已三十年,有J40nB490_p0472b27蒙註存,強以攘臂,豈仁人君子所為哉?若為著袈裟J40nB490_p0472b28壞法門,則雖節節支解,決不肯也。前於汪某致言,即J40nB490_p0472b29以一字絕之,今護法誤聽其啟,苟必來相勸勉,則一J40nB490_p0472b30缽五湖何所芛寓?博山堂堂祖席,一任令將軍輩絕J40nB490_p0472c01其爐煙,鞠為茂草而已矣,夫復何言?」耿接書,知不可J40nB490_p0472c02強,乃止。亂中有勸師遠遁者,師云:「無事而居,有事而J40nB490_p0472c03去,吾不為也。」嘗誓以身殉寺,以寺殉祖,日見兵騎往J40nB490_p0472c04來盈千累百,惟以慈心善口靡不攝服,信州士民依J40nB490_p0472c05山避難不下數萬,皆得保全,實師力也。及治平郡伯J40nB490_p0472c06易菴高公見師卻耿藩書,大為贊服曰:「此真節義丈J40nB490_p0472c07夫,不惟有光佛門,抑且名垂千古。」諭邑侯齊雕像為J40nB490_p0472c08千秋供,待修郡誌則登之。己未,師避席與弟玄祚裕J40nB490_p0472c09叔,當道固留弗克。庚申,眾弟子為師建壽塔於東峰J40nB490_p0472c10之上。永邑侯遜夫郁公與師莫逆交,後補任峽江,送J40nB490_p0472c11金為師置香燈田供塔院。丙寅,玄叔八滅,七眾復請J40nB490_p0472c12師再住博山。十年間,裝飾殿中兩廡圓覺聖像,移搆J40nB490_p0472c13澗祖塔院,山中房舍、靈木、清湖等庄壞者,悉舉新之。J40nB490_p0472c14乙亥冬,師躬至縣,白當道檀護,命鵬繼博山席,退逸J40nB490_p0472c15獅子堂。丙戌二月十九,示微恙,侍者進藥餌,師笑云:J40nB490_p0472c16「老僧非病,會當行矣。」至廿四,師坐於中堂,命侍僧呼J40nB490_p0472c17鵬輩至,師示眾云:「死生誠夢幻,聚散雲去留。燈籠語J40nB490_p0472c18露柱,諾諾頻點頭。即今事如何?八角磨盤空裡走,更J40nB490_p0472c19嫌何處不風流?」復手書封龕、起龕、掛幀、入塔諸偈,付J40nB490_p0472c20鵬依時宣讀。至廿七日申刻,師端坐,鵬輩再請開示,J40nB490_p0472c21師復說偈云:「生平爽直快絕,七十七年漏洩。如今撒J40nB490_p0472c22手便行,大冶爐飛片雪。」偈畢,斂目而逝。師生於明崇J40nB490_p0472c23禎庚午年二月初三日巳時,世壽七十七,僧臘五十J40nB490_p0472c24四。說法三坐道場,有三會錄行世。塔全身於東峰之J40nB490_p0472c25陽。其嗣法弟子:靈鷲仁、冰崖響、夢筆觀、博山鵬、石菴J40nB490_p0472c26祉、如愚恩、起範智、鳳林傑、迥超英、▆▆▆、▆▆▆、二J40nB490_p0472c27蘇軾等,共剃度納戒弟子不可勝計。師睿智天縱,願J40nB490_p0472c28力夙乘,棄軒冕於茂齡,置身心於空寂,徹佛祖淵源,J40nB490_p0472c29為人天眼目,忠孝出之天性,慈愛本乎自然,平常極J40nB490_p0472c30其謹持,臨事勇往不怯,自奉儉約,濟人急難,傾囊不J40nB490_p0473a01吝,目人平等,無分親疏貴賤,溫顏軟語,禮敬如一,主J40nB490_p0473a02持叢席,正己率人,或犯規矩,罰而不恕。故開堂說法J40nB490_p0473a03三十年,坐道場三座,湖海仰為準繩,接引方來,啟迪J40nB490_p0473a04禪衲,正顏厲己,不假色笑,開發正見,光明顯露,如青J40nB490_p0473a05天白日,人人自以詞臻奧,不復悲絲泣岐,所以諸方J40nB490_p0473a06稱師踞位、出師座下者,莫不佩服其德。至於入室呈J40nB490_p0473a07機投解,則如銅山鐵壁,莫可攀緣。末年退逸甘苦,同J40nB490_p0473a08眾或弟子另設飲食供奉,嘗叱退之。此師之生平大J40nB490_p0473a09既自至,其道之精微又非筆墨可形容。竊嘗聞老衲J40nB490_p0473a10昔德曰:「據曲盝木,稱善知識。今天下滔滔,皆是若粟J40nB490_p0473a11和尚之血心,視身體如鴻毛,護祖庭如眼目,言行相J40nB490_p0473a12應,縱橫機辯,異目超宗,宇內誠指不多屈者。」嗚呼!先J40nB490_p0473a13師傳先世法道,撐祖席門庭五十餘年,勞心焦思,不J40nB490_p0473a14致先聲殞越,還使祖道重光,可謂超逸絕塵,無媿為J40nB490_p0473a15異祖家孫、宗門聖箭者也。

J40nB490_p0473a20博山一席,自南唐韶國師開創以來,為天下選佛勝J40nB490_p0473a21場。繼而子瓊、無隱、悟本諸老,前後媲美,振耀一時。頻J40nB490_p0473a22登法座,琅琅有聲。中遭燬廢,敗瓦頹垣,不振者久矣。J40nB490_p0473a23迨明無異和尚,佩壽昌法印,乘願重興,揮麈據席,音J40nB490_p0473a24吼如潮,來集者數千人。余冏卿大成、徐魏國公弘基、J40nB490_p0473a25劉太史若宰,冠履相錯,皆頂禮師事之。二傳而雪澗J40nB490_p0473a26老人提唱海內,曹溪一燈未艾也。三代粟如大師,以J40nB490_p0473a27忠孝願力,翻然向般若路中,屏棄一切,假經聲佛號,J40nB490_p0473a28以銷磨其壯心浩氣。滄洲劫火之思,豈苟然哉!今秋,J40nB490_p0473a29予同參戎劉公孝思、上饒令劉公思沛,入山尋謁尊J40nB490_p0473a30宿。時秋光欲滿,山翠撲人,滿院樨香勃勃,欲效黃山J40nB490_p0473b01谷問無隱大義于晦堂故事。既而周行塔藏,本山住J40nB490_p0473b02持剖雲禪師為乞銘。出其帙,乃粟如大師狀也。按狀:J40nB490_p0473b03師諱弘瀚,永豐人,明鳳陽司理忠貞余公祚徵次子J40nB490_p0473b04也。母施,誥封恭人。天資穎異,幼補弟子員。年十六,以J40nB490_p0473b05尊人受知唐邸,得召見,賜廕襲,不受讓兄。後賜克敦J40nB490_p0473b06孝友寵額,仍授職從戎,奉敕祭葬。乃矢志忠孝,棄青J40nB490_p0473b07雲,事白業。年二十一,事博山澗,參船子藏身公案。後J40nB490_p0473b08隨澗住瀛山,一夕聞鬼嘯,頓契破灶墮因緣。質見澗,J40nB490_p0473b09澗曰:「侍者將糞箕來。」師掩鼻即出,自此應機無礙。丁J40nB490_p0473b10母憂後,往參靈隱禮公,安面壁軒打七。至六日晨,正J40nB490_p0473b11睡間,僯單忽以手拍師云:「水來了,去洗面。」始頓釋礙J40nB490_p0473b12膺。入見禮云:「和上已下煙波餌,還有金鱗上釣無?」禮J40nB490_p0473b13云:「上座聻?」師云:「美食不中飽人餐。」禮索頌本參,師即J40nB490_p0473b14於禮座援筆頌曰:「睡中主,無舌童兒笑語語。霜餘葉J40nB490_p0473b15落村原間,慚愧人前多錯舉。」禮驚異,留師為第一座。J40nB490_p0473b16次年,辭歸葬母,省澗老人于瀛山。時浪杖人主席博J40nB490_p0473b17山,師為澗持書上,杖人見師風骨俊捷,機辯無礙,目J40nB490_p0473b18為法門聖箭,欲以博山席遜師,師卒以奉澗。澗視篆,J40nB490_p0473b19立師首,眾內外翕伏。甲辰,應住高泉。丁未,受玉令郭J40nB490_p0473b20請,主瀛山。戊申冬,澗病篤,始承印囑。己酉春,受郡伯J40nB490_p0473b21高請,乃開堂於博山焉。次年,彙刻無異和尚廣錄,附J40nB490_p0473b22藏流通。甲寅,耿逆變,欲師易服從戎,偽將汪文生、偽J40nB490_p0473b23道金傳諭至山,師作書卻之甚堅。然尊禮賢者,素善J40nB490_p0473b24接人,雖干戈擾攘,而凶人醜類亦不忍犯。至博山,祖J40nB490_p0473b25席不致絕其爐煙,鞠為茂草,且信之士民依山避難J40nB490_p0473b26者以萬計,悉得保全,皆師力也。事平,郡伯高公紀其J40nB490_p0473b27事,擬登信乘,因遷陞未果,乃諭永令齊雕師像供塔J40nB490_p0473b28院。師主法席三座,前後住博山凡廿有一年云。嗚呼!J40nB490_p0473b29師之弘毅之概,津津猶在,倘非大乘法器,世所難拘,J40nB490_p0473b30易青衿而緇之,安得不為國之光、邦之彥?不則,屈於J40nB490_p0473c01威武,蹈一時之赫奕,奮人天之號令,加諸於刁斗之J40nB490_p0473c02間,則今日照世真燈,未必不為燐燐野火也。然則推J40nB490_p0473c03師之為忠於佛,較乃父之為忠於國,又何歉乎?紀師J40nB490_p0473c04生則明崇禎庚午二月初三巳時,世壽七十七,僧臘J40nB490_p0473c05五十四;歿則今康熙四十五年丙戌二月二十七申J40nB490_p0473c06時也。臨期顧命,宛同鶴樹。終譚自說辭世封龕、起龕、J40nB490_p0473c07封塔等語,已刻行世,茲不復贅。嗣法門人傳鵬、傳傑J40nB490_p0473c08等,奉全身塔于東峰之陽,師所莁也。予從剖公請而J40nB490_p0473c09為之銘曰:

J40nB490_p0473c30宗風不墜,待其人而後傳。非法傳之難,實傳人之▆,J40nB490_p0474a01故有傳人而後有傳法。一燈相續,綿延不熄,自非夙J40nB490_p0474a02因不昧,秉性堅貞,安能恢拓祖庭,振興來學,以暢厥J40nB490_p0474a03宗旨哉?余所交粟如大師,洵世所希覯者。師諱弘瀚,J40nB490_p0474a04字粟如,別號勺菴,世居江右廣永豐之梅谿。父余公,J40nB490_p0474a05為明鳳陽司理,著節忠貞。母施,封恭人。昆季三,師其J40nB490_p0474a06仲也。生而天資穎異,弱齡入邑庠,以尊人受知唐邸,J40nB490_p0474a07賜蔭襲,義讓乃兄,爰賜以克敦孝友旌額,仍授以職。J40nB490_p0474a08定鼎後,年方廿一,即棄儒從釋,北面博山,雪澗和尚J40nB490_p0474a09示以船子藏身公案。繼隨澗住瀛山,一夕聞鬼嘯,頓J40nB490_p0474a10悟破灶墮因緣。廿四歲,值母喪,盡力致哀,往參靈隱J40nB490_p0474a11禮公,大徹法源,歸瀛省澗。時浪杖人主博山,澗命持J40nB490_p0474a12書往候,見師機辯雄捷,再四殷留,以繼博山法席。緣J40nB490_p0474a13以澗在,固辭遜澗。及澗再住博山,立師首眾,內外翕J40nB490_p0474a14伏。繼為澗公刻語錄,建壽塔。甲辰,應住高泉,亦澗公J40nB490_p0474a15住地也。乙巳冬,澗公病篤,召師歸受衣拂,病間仍歸J40nB490_p0474a16之。丁未春,玉邑郭侯偕紳衿延住瀛山。戊申冬,始從J40nB490_p0474a17澗公命歸受印,囑開堂博山。於是重葺殿庭暨澗公J40nB490_p0474a18塔院,門庭一新,百廢具舉。陸續清理靈木、清湖等庄,J40nB490_p0474a19義推雲岫巒公住瀛山,以衍師伯雪關法脈。或有勸J40nB490_p0474a20望己嗣者,師云:「吾不欲私祖庭為己業也。」又不惜重J40nB490_p0474a21貲編刻其祖異公法錄。昔永邑遭金變,骸骨山積,師J40nB490_p0474a22啟邑侯殮瘞之,為父忠貞公立墓道坊表,鐫刻文集,J40nB490_p0474a23一如世尊之率僧徒葬其親淨梵王,全奉衣缽資以J40nB490_p0474a24供其父母,師亦猶行古之道也。甲寅亂,魏將汪啟耿J40nB490_p0474a25藩,欲師易服從戎,師以書堅卻之,耿知其難強而止。J40nB490_p0474a26嘗誓以身殉寺,保全依山避難數萬人。事平,郡伯高J40nB490_p0474a27公稱為節義丈夫,待編誌傳之千古,所以法派繁衍,J40nB490_p0474a28而博山鵬師尤嗣法之特出者也。己未,師隨避席,推J40nB490_p0474a29法弟弘裕字玄祚,時當道固留弗克。丙寅,玄祚圓寂,J40nB490_p0474a30七眾仍延師住博山,立鵬師首座。十年間,復修殿中J40nB490_p0474b01兩廡圓覺聖像,山中房舍壞者悉葺新之。乙亥冬,師J40nB490_p0474b02白當道檀護,命鵬師繼博山席,師退逸獅子堂。憶師J40nB490_p0474b03自親澗公以來,閒出參訪,歸根祖庭,開堂說法三十J40nB490_p0474b04餘年,坐三道場,紀載三會錄中,湖海奉為楷模。於戲!J40nB490_p0474b05吾閱世之所稱善知識者亦不乏,求其能如我師之J40nB490_p0474b06棄儒入道,報恩生成,孝友辭讓,利演群生,不避艱險,J40nB490_p0474b07堅貞自守,始終不易,呵護一山,嗣廣燈傳者,蓋戛戛J40nB490_p0474b08乎難之。法門龍象,舍師其誰?余守信州,與師往還,久J40nB490_p0474b09而彌篤。別纔兩載,詎師於今年丙戌二月廿七圓寂,J40nB490_p0474b10距其庚午生年,世壽七十有七。先數日,師預示挂幀J40nB490_p0474b11入塔諸偈,臨訣撒手便行,誠如偈云「大冶煙飛片雪」J40nB490_p0474b12也,何解脫至此?法嗣鵬等先為師建壽藏於東峰,永J40nB490_p0474b13邑侯郁公遜夫舊與師最契,補任峽江,猶齎金為師J40nB490_p0474b14置香燈田供塔院。今鵬師恐其歷久而煙沒不彰,以J40nB490_p0474b15余與師素莫逆,而深悉其生平,不遠千餘里持書至J40nB490_p0474b16金陵,請為之記。余不敏,為質言其實,俾世之覽者亦J40nB490_p0474b17可以想見師之為人,聞風而興感矣。
