J40nB483_p0226c04康熙丁卯佛成道日,闔郡文武官紳、四眾等請師復J40nB483_p0226c05住治平禪寺,結制上堂。拈疏云:「應現妙圓身,錦繡任J40nB483_p0226c06鋪陳,珠璣錯落處,維那誦分明。」宣畢,師顧座,喝一喝J40nB483_p0226c07云:「要逼生蛇化活龍,剔起眉毛看惡發。」遂陞。拈香云:J40nB483_p0226c08「此瓣香,光昭日月,焰覆乾坤,爇向爐中,奉祝J40nB483_p0226c09當今皇帝萬歲萬萬歲!皇后齊年!太子千秋!伏願紫極J40nB483_p0226c10凝禧,日祝聖朝長有道;前星耀彩,同歸覺海永無疆。J40nB483_p0226c11此瓣香,秉靈山之囑,顯妙應之威,爇向爐中,奉為滿J40nB483_p0226c12朝文武、闔國公卿、本郡文武官宰、眾護法,伏願澤倍J40nB483_p0226c13▆霖,股肱鹽梅,襄聖治功愈細柳,山河帶𥗠著徽猷。J40nB483_p0226c14此瓣香,源同泗水,脈洽曹溪,爇向爐中,奉為闔郡檀J40nB483_p0226c15那、本山耆宿,伏願永為法海津梁,恒作叢林山斗。此J40nB483_p0226c16瓣香,分弗為兩,析不成三,爇向爐中,奉上高峰得戒J40nB483_p0226c17和尚、薙髮二位尊師,伏願三聚嚴明,法法心傳清白;J40nB483_p0226c18五株挺秀,時時針下頂門。此瓣香,生于無影之墟,產J40nB483_p0226c19于不響之谷,向推不開、卸不下處承當,無安排、莫可J40nB483_p0226c20說處啟口,茲則二番拈出,爇向爐中,供養J40nB483_p0226c21傳靈山道脈六十三世上鐵下壁先師老和尚,用酬J40nB483_p0226c22法乳之恩。伏願慶衍寂光,二株嫩桂行行秀;淵長道J40nB483_p0226c23脈,雙燦新篁個個鮮。」斂衣就座。白椎竟,問:「聖明統御,J40nB483_p0226c24萬國咸寧,道合君臣,河清海晏。正恁麼時,和尚又作J40nB483_p0226c25麼生?」師云:「慣用靈蛇,勢赫赫萬層。」進云:「本郡文武官J40nB483_p0226c26宰、紳衿護法請開選佛場,有何利益檀度?」師云:「活捉J40nB483_p0226c27生馬,威昂昂千里。」進云:「恁麼則壽如山,福如海,瓜瓞J40nB483_p0226c28綿綿,簪纓藹藹。」師云:「諦當更諦當。」問:「聚雲心印,臨濟J40nB483_p0226c29綱宗。如何是臨濟第一句?」師云:「前三三,後三三。」「如何J40nB483_p0226c30是第二句?」師云:「七不成,八不就。」「如何是第三句?」師云:J40nB483_p0227a01「茶斟三個棗。」進云:「恁麼不獨衲僧咸有慶,文經武緯J40nB483_p0227a02盡恩榮。」師云:「且喜小出大遇。」問:「至道真乘,本無言說;J40nB483_p0227a03應機接物,須賴激揚。至道真乘即不問,應機接物事J40nB483_p0227a04如何?」師云:「曹溪有路人皆到。」進云:「嶺畔寒梅新發秀,J40nB483_p0227a05山頭瑞雪鬥芳妍。未審是神通妙用?法爾如然?」師云:J40nB483_p0227a06「信是誰人得得來。」進云:「恁麼從此治平揚法化,千邦J40nB483_p0227a07萬國荷真風。」師云:「今日恰遇同參。」乃卓拄杖,云:「恁麼,J40nB483_p0227a08恁麼,幾度頻臨江上望,寒梅花向雪中開;不恁麼,不J40nB483_p0227a09恁麼,嫩柳搖金線,且要應時來。試看釋迦老子,明星J40nB483_p0227a10一點、奇哉三嘆,譬說喻說、論教論宗,以至調跛驢、醫J40nB483_p0227a11瞎馬,不過應個時節;又看歷代祖師,說什麼謹嚴、高J40nB483_p0227a12古、細密、簡明、親切、轉身、異類,末後拈麈柄、說脫空,不J40nB483_p0227a13過應個時節。秪如現前護法四眾等請山僧開爐選J40nB483_p0227a14佛、結百念期,致令他畫地為限,又令披五條、七條、二J40nB483_p0227a15十五條,一皈依、二皈依、三皈依,路從平處險,人向靜J40nB483_p0227a16中忙,且道是應時節?不應時節?」復卓一卓,云:「本是江J40nB483_p0227a17湖一釣翁,自南自北自西東。」復舉:「波斯匿王問世尊:J40nB483_p0227a18『聖義諦中還有世俗諦否?若言其有,智不應一;若言J40nB483_p0227a19其無,智不應二。一、二之義,其義云何?』佛言:『大王!汝于J40nB483_p0227a20過去龍光佛時曾問此義。我今無說,汝今無聞。無說J40nB483_p0227a21無聞,是名一義?二義?』」師云:「看他波斯匿王意欲連科J40nB483_p0227a22及第,世尊即將名覆金甌。今日眾中若有問一義?二J40nB483_p0227a23義?山僧但撫掌呵呵。何故聻?自從舞得三臺後,拍拍J40nB483_p0227a24原來總是歌。」結椎,下座。
J40nB483_p0227a25聞一上座請上堂。問:「先哲道:『一喝分賓主,照用一齊J40nB483_p0227a26行。』秪如兩堂首座未下喝時,照用在甚麼處?」師云:「露J40nB483_p0227a27聲風走葉,山色石留雲。」進云:「既喝之後,照用歷然,日J40nB483_p0227a28午三更,何須點綴?」師云:「剎竿頭上仰蓮心。」進云:「恁麼J40nB483_p0227a29賓主全收一句自道去也。」師云:「試道看。」進云:「掬水月J40nB483_p0227a30在手,弄花香滿衣。」師云:「得便宜處失便宜。」乃舉:「洞山J40nB483_p0227b01參雲門,門云:『近離甚處?』山云:『查渡。』門云:『夏在甚處?』山J40nB483_p0227b02云:『湖南報慈。』門云:『幾時離彼?』山云:『八月二十五。』門云:J40nB483_p0227b03『放汝三十棒。』明日,洞山復問云:『昨日蒙和尚放三頓J40nB483_p0227b04棒,不知過在甚麼處?』門云:『飯袋子,江西、湖南便恁麼J40nB483_p0227b05去?』山于言下有省,作禮起,乃曰:『他日向孤峰頂上盤J40nB483_p0227b06結草菴,不蓄一粒米,不栽一莖菜,接待十方衲子,盡J40nB483_p0227b07與伊抽釘拔楔,脫卻赤脂帽子,卸卻滑臭布衫,令他J40nB483_p0227b08脫灑灑地作個慶快衲僧,好不俊哉!』門云:『汝身如椰J40nB483_p0227b09子大,開如許大口。』」師云:「恁麼說話,恰似大虫戴紙帽,J40nB483_p0227b10好笑又驚人,若不是治平約法三章,未免被他瞞頇J40nB483_p0227b11一上。今日聞一禪人遠來辦供,山僧亦不問渠過所J40nB483_p0227b12郵程,但道:『逢著家中人,便說家裏話,六月賣松風,恐J40nB483_p0227b13其難定價。』既是價值未定,再示一偈以酬志誠:衝開J40nB483_p0227b14桃浪展綸絲,燒尾無容淹別虀,鱗翼養成隨奮勇,雷J40nB483_p0227b15轟電掣應當時。」喝一喝。
J40nB483_p0227b16傅晉美居士祈嗣,請上堂。問:「赤帝乘權,一片椒花現J40nB483_p0227b17瑞;朱明司令,滿園桃實敷榮。睹物興慈即不問,應時J40nB483_p0227b18及節事如何?」師云:「日永風和善慶優。」進云:「即今晉美J40nB483_p0227b19檀越啟請和尚陞座,如何是箕裘有托一句?」師云:「桂J40nB483_p0227b20子應時發,心花次第開。」進云:「恁麼則彩鳳駕祥雲飛J40nB483_p0227b21出,石麟隨吉夢迎來。」師云:「快須領取問頭。」乃云:「夏日J40nB483_p0227b22長,屆麥秋,雨暘若,萬象優,海印重光徵兆瑞,山悠悠J40nB483_p0227b23自水悠悠,三柸濁酒娛歲月,一炷心香注聖流。平息J40nB483_p0227b24了,萬事周,一顆摩尼衣下收,既是衣珠在掌,不免主J40nB483_p0227b25賓酬唱一上。昔有一官人參南堂和尚,咨決心要,堂J40nB483_p0227b26使其好處提撕,適入廁,俄聞穢氣,急以手掩鼻,豁然J40nB483_p0227b27自省,即呈偈曰:『從來姿韻愛風流,幾笑時人向外求,J40nB483_p0227b28萬別千差無覓處,得來原在鼻尖頭。』」師云:「者漢得之J40nB483_p0227b29雖易,不無鼻孔心酸,爭似晉美居士無二乃性、恒一J40nB483_p0227b30其心?但述一偈以酬來意:桂栽自是英華起,九九還J40nB483_p0227c01能喜香波,目下有枝榮輔弼,玄仍臺上鴈行多。」

相云:「來朝更有新條例,七珍八寶J40nB483_p0227c20一齊收。」上堂。「唯之與阿,相去幾何?善之與惡,相去何若?濕紙J40nB483_p0227c22裏狻猊,單絲控麟角,溈山牛一頭,楊岐驢三腳,潘閬J40nB483_p0227c23倒騎歸,顛殺黃潘綽。一錯、二錯、三錯、四錯,還有不錯J40nB483_p0227c24者麼?」舉:「石頭和尚問龐居士曰:『汝日用事作麼生?』士J40nB483_p0227c25云:『若論日用事,卻沒起口處。』乃呈偈云:『日用事無別,J40nB483_p0227c26唯吾自偶偕,頭頭非取捨,處處勿張乖。朱紫誰為號,J40nB483_p0227c27丘山絕點埃,神通并妙用,運水及搬柴。』茲晨乃江南J40nB483_p0227c28善信啟請山僧演說般若,領最上乘,因甚一味打他J40nB483_p0227c29葛藤?不見道,借婆帔子拜婆年,火裏蓮開朵朵鮮,燕J40nB483_p0227c30語鶯啼渾不顧,倒騎鶴舞膩吒天。」復喝一喝,云:「停機J40nB483_p0228a01佇思,釘錠膠黏。」
J40nB483_p0228a02上堂。「春雨連霄澤有餘,清明已過衫絺綌,到來不用J40nB483_p0228a03潛頭角,堂堂必表而出之。且道有何所表?」舉:「龐居士J40nB483_p0228a04云:『難,難,十石油麻樹上攤。』穿釘靴,拄拐棍。龐婆云:『易,J40nB483_p0228a05易,百草頭邊祖師意。』脫卻籠頭卸卻駝。靈照云:『也不J40nB483_p0228a06難,也不易,饑來喫飯倦來睡。』簷前鐵馬信風敲,室內J40nB483_p0228a07塵埃倩誰掃?檢點將來,龐老一家大似同行不同步、J40nB483_p0228a08同志不同巧,爭似渰井一會善信,各各信念恒嘉,歲J40nB483_p0228a09歲檀施不少。所謂昔曾播此菩提果,今復慇懃伸禮J40nB483_p0228a10覲,索鹽奉馬妙機先,山海悠悠時衍慶。」喝一喝,云:「吼J40nB483_p0228a11遍吼,等遍吼;震遍震,等遍震。」
J40nB483_p0228a12千日鐘會圓滿,上堂。問:「東風解凍,春色鼓上林之機;J40nB483_p0228a13率土流輝,天官賜悠寧之福。如何是慶賀上元句?」師J40nB483_p0228a14云:「悃忱通帝座,香煙滿石樓。」進云:「選佛場開,幽明兩J40nB483_p0228a15利,于中透頂透底,東湧西沒,且道是甚麼人?」師云:「風J40nB483_p0228a16暖鳥聲碎,日高花影重。」進云:「如是則天上獨尊去也。」J40nB483_p0228a17師云:「恁麼中卻不恁麼。」問:「鴻鈞聿轉,蘭箭舒香,景物J40nB483_p0228a18維新即不問,當機覿面事如何?」師云:「榕樹增新藹,翠J40nB483_p0228a19竹拂晴雲。」進云:「銀花發焰,滿月照臨,混融其間,有何J40nB483_p0228a20分別?」師云:「紫宸以降,帝星賁臨。」進云:「金聲遠徹,玉振J40nB483_p0228a21遐聞,幽顯咸沾,獲大利樂。圓滿後又作麼生?」師云:「大J40nB483_p0228a22扣大應,小扣小應。」乃云:「專持一藏真詮,生受三年木J40nB483_p0228a23鐸,六道四生釋漏纏,三賢十聖卸籠絡,任他遲駑馳J40nB483_p0228a24駘,休話俊鷹俊鶚,明鏡撲翻理事融,翛然驀直長安J40nB483_p0228a25過。過不過,牛過窗欞,蟻旋空磨。夫如是,則知過去貴J40nB483_p0228a26賤存亡、真俗男女、有情無情、人非人等決定成佛,未J40nB483_p0228a27來貴賤存亡、真俗男女、有情無情、人非人等決定成J40nB483_p0228a28佛,現在貴賤存亡、真俗男女、有情無情、人非人等決J40nB483_p0228a29定成佛。既爾各各成佛,在在滿圓,即今闔會諸仁者J40nB483_p0228a30轉功就位、透體逍遙一句又作麼生?」良久,云:「無不住J40nB483_p0228b01兮無所住,四方八面總金剛。」
J40nB483_p0228b02康熙三十五年五月廿八日,師受闔郡文武、紳衿、護J40nB483_p0228b03法、諸山耆德、四眾等公請,住萬聚山方廣禪寺。入院,J40nB483_p0228b04三門。「登斯方廣門庭,具斯威德自在,等閒撥動機關,J40nB483_p0228b05永獲旋元三昧。那裏是旋元處?」入門云:「日月照臨,乾J40nB483_p0228b06坤覆載。」
J40nB483_p0228b07接引天王殿。「拈舉捧垂,是一是二?雨順風調,不三不J40nB483_p0228b08四。大家會聚一堂,都盧談甚妙義?是何義?百般神用J40nB483_p0228b09總昭彰,一曲無生親的歷。」
J40nB483_p0228b10韋馱。「三洲感應,百劫修營,六六數足,九九功成,都向J40nB483_p0228b11個裏應用,從教護法安僧。」良久,叩齒云:「唵嚙𡄦,唵部J40nB483_p0228b12𡄦。」
J40nB483_p0228b13佛殿。「丈六身,一莖草;一莖草,丈六身。乾屎橛,麻三斤;J40nB483_p0228b14琉璃盞,破沙盆。將來縛作一束,重教法令斬新。畢竟J40nB483_p0228b15如何斬新?」展具,云:「慶喜剎竿再扶起,飲光色笑益轉J40nB483_p0228b16忻。」
J40nB483_p0228b17祖師。「西天四七,東土二三,分燈續焰,遞代開山,都向J40nB483_p0228b18此中煆煉,更教莫受人瞞。作麼得不瞞去?謾云珠在J40nB483_p0228b19淵而輝自媚,須令冰寒于水青出藍。」
J40nB483_p0228b20方丈。「丈短尺長,矩圓規方,拈弄自在,縱奪靡常。聖凡J40nB483_p0228b21魔外潛伏,悲智願行揮彰。若何彰?」良久,云:「然諾千金,J40nB483_p0228b22佇思百棒。」
即于是日請J40nB483_p0228b23上堂。拈香畢,問:「座上燭影輝煌,爐內檀煙縹緲,東明J40nB483_p0228b24勝境即不問,佛日三關請師宣。」師云:「大坐當軒八萬J40nB483_p0228b25門。」進云:「石礄溪煙波洶湧,峻急流白浪翻空,學者欲J40nB483_p0228b26登彼岸,從何處過得?」師云:「漁人泛遠浦,燕子舞新巢。」J40nB483_p0228b27進云:「方廣山奇峰絕頂,峭壁巖險峻崎嶇,鳥道不通,J40nB483_p0228b28學人從甚麼處進步?」師云:「踏穿波底月,擉破水中天。」J40nB483_p0228b29進云:「幽僻山房,夜明簾煙霞靄靄,鐵門閫紫霧重重,J40nB483_p0228b30縱千手眼,覷亦無門,參玄道者從何處相見?」師云:「一J40nB483_p0228c01聲款乃曲,漁父起滄浪。」進云:「三關今已蒙師指,四眾J40nB483_p0228c02雲臻事若何?」師云:「鐵船現瑞,寶鼎呈祥。」進云:「古人道:J40nB483_p0228c03『夫說法者,須應時及節。』如何是應時及節處?」師云:「千J40nB483_p0228c04人共睹,萬姓同瞻。」進云:「恁麼則緇素咸承般若力,佛J40nB483_p0228c05日堂前顯祖風。」師云:「掀翻舊案,整理新條。」乃云:「建法J40nB483_p0228c06幢,立宗旨,黏帶齒牙,拖拽泥水;翻舊案,整新條,佛祖J40nB483_p0228c07歡騰,人天忻喜。作麼生是人天忻喜處?良因此院傳J40nB483_p0228c08燈失緒,萬事灰頹;適當剝而云復,否極泰來。今一旦J40nB483_p0228c09而感郡侯大護法起再造之深仁,闔郡紳衿檀越興J40nB483_p0228c10惻懚之厚德,諸山耆舊懷不忍之盛心,啟請山僧兼J40nB483_p0228c11主斯院,演最上乘,山僧只得順水行船、隨波鼓棹,塗J40nB483_p0228c12胭抹粉一上,任般酬酢。且道:是翻舊案、整新條耶?是J40nB483_p0228c13建法幢、立宗旨耶?是酬檀信、表護念耶?」良久,卓拄杖,J40nB483_p0228c14云:「皇風廣沛輝朝野,佛日重輪耀祖燈。」
J40nB483_p0228c15慶堂上座為嚴師入塔,請上堂。問:「威音劫外,父母未J40nB483_p0228c16生,這點靈光,從何處發?」師云:「風雨逐時節。」進云:「既生J40nB483_p0228c17已後,大限若窮,又向何處去?」師云:「日月應昇恒。」進云:J40nB483_p0228c18「建法筵,設勝會,報師恩,表檀信,圓滿後又作麼生?」師J40nB483_p0228c19云:「蓮開九品,桂蔭雙株。」乃云:「策杖崔嵬興趣賒,穿雲J40nB483_p0228c20透霧澤交加,圓因圓果理全備,覺己覺他事靡涯。報J40nB483_p0228c21德應須弘法利,酬恩尤意燦心花,我來徵驗主中主,J40nB483_p0228c22始信風流足富家。阿那個是風流足富邊事?」舉:「曹山J40nB483_p0228c23問紙衣道者:『如何是紙衣?』者云:『一裘纔挂體,萬法悉J40nB483_p0228c24皆如。』山云:『如何是紙衣下事?』者應諾諾,便爾趨寂。山J40nB483_p0228c25遂撫之曰:『汝只解恁麼去,不解恁麼來。』者開目問曰:J40nB483_p0228c26『一靈真性、不假胞胎時如何?』山云:『未是妙。』者云:『如何J40nB483_p0228c27是妙?』山云:『不借借。』諸仁者!倘于這裏親證一回,匪特J40nB483_p0228c28恒心耆舊脫體逍遙,慶堂上座全身擔荷,致令過去J40nB483_p0228c29底秘密圓覺、證入圓覺,現在底具足圓覺、住持圓覺,J40nB483_p0228c30未來底荷擔圓覺、守護圓覺,即今一會,乃真乃俗,若J40nB483_p0229a01存若亡,情與無情,人非人等,莫不具斯圓覺之體,發J40nB483_p0229a02斯圓覺之用。雖然,設有個不屬圓覺、不屬過去、不屬J40nB483_p0229a03現在、不屬未來,作麼與伊打當?」豎拄杖云:「揮如意,墜J40nB483_p0229a04天花,撫箜篌,飛雪霰,一輪燦爛影婆娑,婆舌婆心巧J40nB483_p0229a05方便。」卓一卓。
J40nB483_p0229a06倚天山千江化士募眾裝普賢聖像成,請上堂。豎拄J40nB483_p0229a07杖,云:「鼎搆名山勝境,钁鋤獨斧務要鋒鋩;開鑿人天J40nB483_p0229a08正眼,智劍慧刀必須猛利。紅爐經鍛煉,鈍鐵頑銅悉J40nB483_p0229a09爾銷爍;裁成歸巧手,布漆沙泥咸放光明。所以古人J40nB483_p0229a10云:『我以普賢殊勝行,無邊勝福皆回向,普願沉溺諸J40nB483_p0229a11眾生,速往無量光佛剎。』恁般說話,須是順硃填墨,山J40nB483_p0229a12僧今日卻與抹粉塗胭:『我以普賢殊勝行』,在菴斯案J40nB483_p0229a13創伊始,千江厥果功甫備;『無邊勝福皆回向』,高低嶽J40nB483_p0229a14瀆,共轉根本法輪,大小麟毛,普現色身三昧;『普願沉J40nB483_p0229a15溺諸眾生』,長者長法身,短者短法身,拾金原是窖金J40nB483_p0229a16人;『速往無量光佛剎』,應以宰官、將軍身得度者,即皆J40nB483_p0229a17現之而為說法,應以婆羅門、居士、婦女等身得度者,J40nB483_p0229a18即皆現之而為說法,應以比丘、比丘尼身得度者,即J40nB483_p0229a19皆現之而為說法。況值天官錫福,適當火樹爍煌,在J40nB483_p0229a20在莊嚴毘盧性海,頭頭共證普賢勝行,因甚又道善J40nB483_p0229a21財童子過不可說不可說世界,而猶不知普賢一毛J40nB483_p0229a22孔中事?試問:即今在會諸仁者,還知普賢毛孔中事J40nB483_p0229a23也麼?」良久,云:「剎那閱歷億千劫,彈指圓成八萬門。」
J40nB483_p0229a24送慶忠老人舍利下江南,辭院,上堂:「三十餘年前住J40nB483_p0229a25此,腦門著地,三十餘年後去此,腳板朝天。腦門著地,J40nB483_p0229a26竹木土石盡發光明;腳板朝天,山水煙雲悉增耀麗。J40nB483_p0229a27所以道:去是住之因,住是去之果,去住果因周,萬物J40nB483_p0229a28備于我。備于我,卒未休,去住返觀我,縱橫得自由。作J40nB483_p0229a29麼生說個去住自由底道理?昔釋迦如來雙樹煙飛J40nB483_p0229a30之後,收取舍利八斛四斗,後為鐵輪天子役諸鬼神J40nB483_p0229b01造成八萬四千寶塔,遂問耶舍尊者安置之方,尊者J40nB483_p0229b02乃豎五指,放八萬四千光,隨光盡處各安一座,我震J40nB483_p0229b03旦國中只落九所。吾師舍利不減其數,幸值金輪現J40nB483_p0229b04瑞、象寶呈祥,不欲震威乃服,遣使歸降,直令望風順J40nB483_p0229b05化。夫如是,匪特草木沙礫咸獲禎嘉,則河山界海在J40nB483_p0229b06在遍滿。雖然,且道響應在甚麼處?」良久,云:「修篁萬個J40nB483_p0229b07沖霄斗,嫩桂千株蔭滿庭,鳳閣龍樓頻指顧,皇圖佛J40nB483_p0229b08日永昭熒。」
J40nB483_p0229b09普陀法雨和尚齎敕黃到寺,改治平為振宗,名祖塔J40nB483_p0229b10為妙光,謝恩上堂。拈香畢,僧問:「皇風浩蕩,四海謳歌。J40nB483_p0229b11今幸普陀和尚光輝祖室,奏請御額,和尚如何報稱?」J40nB483_p0229b12師云:「波斯鼻孔吼如雷。」進云:「聚雲門庭,四代丕興。忽J40nB483_p0229b13遇上上人來時如何?」師云:「龍庭俯坐展宸恩。」進云:「中J40nB483_p0229b14下人來時如何?」師云:「探花仍作探花郎。」進云:「猶有一J40nB483_p0229b15人呵呵大笑,和尚作麼生接?」師震威一喝,進云:「恁麼J40nB483_p0229b16則天上天下稱尊去也。」師云:「遙祝萬壽以無疆。」乃拈J40nB483_p0229b17敕黃云:「天書頒自九重城,敕下咸令六合清。二諦嵩J40nB483_p0229b18呼輝梵苑,三生應感沐鴻恩。金輪鞏固重輪美,玉葉J40nB483_p0229b19榮敷奕葉芬。法雨頻滋無限意,須彌壽量衍昇恒。茲J40nB483_p0229b20乃法雨和尚一段輝煌祖室、惇誠報本榮親之至誼,J40nB483_p0229b21致令法院獲振宗之美,窣堵顯妙光之譽,報慈有添J40nB483_p0229b22籌之懿。即今敕黃遠降,光賁山林,闔郡文武、宰官、紳J40nB483_p0229b23衿、四眾雲集振宗,臣僧幻敏畢竟謝恩讚祝一句又J40nB483_p0229b24作麼生道?」安敕黃云:「祖佛忻騰蘭桂永,地交天泰海J40nB483_p0229b25山銘。」
J40nB483_p0229b26豐之周居士啟法名,請上堂。問荅畢,乃云:「佛法在世J40nB483_p0229b27間,不離世間覺,離世覓菩提,恰如求兔角。兔角杖,龜J40nB483_p0229b28毛拂,運用施為無不足,無足足處快承當,壽者壽兮J40nB483_p0229b29福者福。云何為壽?甚麼作福?」喝一喝,云:「豐之性任聖J40nB483_p0229b30賢心,曇蔭芬芳馨永馥。」
J40nB483_p0229c01佛誕,眾姓供燈啟名,請上堂。豎拄杖,云:「一華百億國,J40nB483_p0229c02一國一釋迦,各坐菩提樹,一時成佛道。斯乃證道邊J40nB483_p0229c03事,即今降生又作麼生?不計程途,寧列功課?比玉之J40nB483_p0229c04無瑕,若金之試火,梅雨灑群靈,曇花飄寶座,事事靡J40nB483_p0229c05由他,頭頭唯在我。一我、二我、萬億我,恒河沙數莫能J40nB483_p0229c06窮,微塵剎土咸安妥。」舉乾峰上堂公案,師云:「古人雖J40nB483_p0229c07是機扣乘時,怎如振宗權實雙具?啟名底樂利亨嘉,J40nB483_p0229c08誘引底壽祿齊備,若文、若武,真諦、俗諦,個個歡欣,行J40nB483_p0229c09行溥濟。」喝一喝,云:「各各長明智慧燈,人人永證菩提J40nB483_p0229c10記。」
小參
J40nB483_p0229c12審戒,小參。舉:「古德云:『有二比丘犯婬殺,波離雲光增J40nB483_p0229c13罪業,維摩大士為指陳,猶如赫日消冰雪。』」師云:「古人J40nB483_p0229c14恁麼道,雖是截長補短,然而捨重從輕。治平今日又J40nB483_p0229c15且如何?有過須應改,無功勿妄陳,功過兩不立,衣缽J40nB483_p0229c16自繩繩。恁麼批判,與古人相去多少?」喝一喝,云:「龍蛇J40nB483_p0229c17易辯,衲子難瞞。」
J40nB483_p0229c18乾一禪人對靈小參。「幼而離塵,壯則參師,得失無關,J40nB483_p0229c19智行頗齊,性直言直,終始如之,此是禪人生平踐履J40nB483_p0229c20處。來不占天,去不占地,三昧水中,一場遊戲,此是禪J40nB483_p0229c21人臨行撇脫偈。且道不終不始、無來無去一句又作J40nB483_p0229c22麼生?」畫○相云:「此夜一輪隱,清光何處無。」
J40nB483_p0229c23微明上座對靈小參。「祖室維新,至願未已,遽爾云歸,J40nB483_p0229c24似憂似喜。作麼憂?法門涼薄孰與儔?作麼喜?樂邦勝J40nB483_p0229c25友尋芳侶。芳侶相逢話轉長,一曲無生樂未央。」喝一J40nB483_p0229c26喝,云:「蓮胎切忌頻耽著,還期點雪貴當陽。」
J40nB483_p0229c27桂輪和尚應九,小參。「昔九峰乾為石霜和尚侍者,霜J40nB483_p0229c28入滅,眾舉首座以繼住持,峰云:『待驗過方可。』乃云:『先J40nB483_p0229c29師道:「休去,歇去,一念萬年去,寒灰枯木去,古廟香爐J40nB483_p0229c30去,一條白練去。」未審明甚麼邊事?』座云:『明一色邊事。』J40nB483_p0230a01峰不肯,座云:『裝香來,香煙起處某坐脫不得,則不會J40nB483_p0230a02先師意。』裝香來,首座遽爾坐脫。峰乃撫背,云:『坐脫立J40nB483_p0230a03亡即不無,先師意未夢見在。』」師云:「九峰雖是逼生蛇J40nB483_p0230a04化活龍,致令首座連棗囫圇吞,怎似我桂輪和尚執J40nB483_p0230a05侍聚雲老師翁,又侍慶忠先老人,可謂高起前哲,獨J40nB483_p0230a06步先賢,一念萬年,恒久不變。茲乃首九之期,治平到J40nB483_p0230a07來無以為念,且道畢竟親承入室一句又作麼生?」良J40nB483_p0230a08久,畫○相,云:「流水不翻金碧浪,一輪孤朗海中棲。」

。劉將軍對靈,小參。「補天浴日勳愈著,福國裕民澤倍J40nB483_p0230a27殷,自是龍圖親帶礪,森森蘭桂享芳榮。此是我劉公J40nB483_p0230a28大將軍生平血力、精忠冠世處,且道即今一靈真性J40nB483_p0230a29又向甚麼處安身立命?」良久,撫棺三下,云:「謾戀蓮胎J40nB483_p0230a30親八德,早承佛記悟三生。」
J40nB483_p0230b01審戒,小參。舉:「古德云:『心地無貪自性戒,心地無嗔自J40nB483_p0230b02性定,心地無痴自性慧,不增不減白金剛,身去身來J40nB483_p0230b03常三昧,如鳥空中只麼飛,無取無捨無憎愛,觸境但J40nB483_p0230b04似水無心,在世縱橫有何事?若會應處本無情,始得J40nB483_p0230b05名為觀自在。』」師云:「這話只解順水推船,未識逆風把J40nB483_p0230b06柁。不見三祖啟二祖曰:『弟子身患諸苦,乞師懺罪。』二J40nB483_p0230b07祖云:『將罪來,與汝懺。』三祖良久,曰:『覓罪了不可得。』二J40nB483_p0230b08祖云:『與汝懺罪竟。』于斯領略,更有甚麼輕垢難遮?倘J40nB483_p0230b09或遲疑,再示一偈:罪福俱空空亦空,無心繩子繫虛J40nB483_p0230b10空;凍嶺梅英香噴鼻,從教雪火一爐紅。」
J40nB483_p0230b11太皇太后哀詔至,設供,小參。「大根大器大力量,荷擔大J40nB483_p0230b12事不尋常,一毛頭上露消息,遍界明明不覆藏。那裏J40nB483_p0230b13是不覆藏處?所謂聖量如空不可思議,聖德如空不J40nB483_p0230b14可思議,聖智如空不可思議,聖慧如空不可思議,聖J40nB483_p0230b15胄如空不可思議,聖徹如空不可思議,聖慈如空不J40nB483_p0230b16可思議,聖澤如空不可思議。既叨荷如斯不可思議J40nB483_p0230b17覆幬之德,即今J40nB483_p0230b18太皇太后哀詔遍聞,臣僧雖屬方衣,畢竟以何報荅?」良J40nB483_p0230b19久,爇香爐中,云:「慈靈乘願歸安養,蘭桂永馨蔭索訶。」
J40nB483_p0230b20白雲菴在旦耆宿對靈小參。「憶昔南濱初遘時,溫風J40nB483_p0230b21和氣已深知,別來青黃猶未紀,烽煙火燧幾奔馳。惟J40nB483_p0230b22有素履常不變,古道古心恒自持,因思本源歸故里,J40nB483_p0230b23如幻幢幡在處起。剎竿相望仰興隆,振起本地舊家J40nB483_p0230b24風,誰知一旦西風急,摧殘木葉歸根息。歸根得旨復J40nB483_p0230b25何言,嚴華法界總現前,來我治平酬夙願,樓閣門開J40nB483_p0230b26是幾年?既爾,華藏莊嚴、樓閣門開,且道善財童子與J40nB483_p0230b27白雲比丘,共履一百一十遊城,參禮五十三員知識,J40nB483_p0230b28今日畢竟以何為驗?」良久,云:「在在圓成華藏海,頭頭J40nB483_p0230b29頓證毘盧印。」
J40nB483_p0230b30覺菴上座披剃,小參。「丈夫氣慨,決烈堅剛,一塵不挂,J40nB483_p0230c01直下承當。且道承當後又作麼生?」良久,云:「自度度人J40nB483_p0230c02度一切,還期界海作津梁。」
J40nB483_p0230c03應真法兄和尚對真小參。「祖室維新悲願周,餐風沐J40nB483_p0230c04雨建徽猷,到頭雲月清光靄,結角松蘿素影浮。古觀J40nB483_p0230c05峰高潛白鷺,珍珠簾捲臥泥牛,我來欲問抽身句,雨J40nB483_p0230c06灑山花淚點頭。恁麼告報,是表法誼耶?全鄉曲耶?」良J40nB483_p0230c07久,云:「分燈續焰勿忘囑,雲根枳水一毫收。」
J40nB483_p0230c08審戒,小參。「假借四大以為身,心本無生因境有;前境J40nB483_p0230c09若無心亦忘,罪福如幻起亦滅。此是先佛為汝等示J40nB483_p0230c10出百尺竿頭,山僧今為汝等更進一步:『假借四大以J40nB483_p0230c11為身』,離婆離婆帝;『心本無生因境有』,求訶求訶諦;『前J40nB483_p0230c12境若無心亦忘』,陀囉尼諦 尼訶囉諦;『罪福如幻起亦J40nB483_p0230c13滅』,毘尼揭諦 真寧乾諦 娑訶。雖然,進步竿頭,山僧再J40nB483_p0230c14為汝等洗雪一上。」乃舉:「僧問長沙岑和尚:『如何轉山J40nB483_p0230c15河大地歸自己去?』岑曰:『如何轉自己成山河大地去?』J40nB483_p0230c16僧曰:『不會。』岑曰:『湖南城下好養民,米賤柴多足四鄰。』J40nB483_p0230c17僧無語,岑示偈曰:『誰問山河轉,山河轉向誰?圓通無J40nB483_p0230c18兩畔,法性本無歸。』汝等于斯領略,有何罪福犯持?其J40nB483_p0230c19或未然,當初只道茅長短,燒了方知地不平。」
J40nB483_p0230c20含波禪人為大川和尚畢九設供,請小參。「地、水、火、風,J40nB483_p0230c21均名四大,機思稍遲,未免滯挂。若一念不疑,地不能J40nB483_p0230c22礙;若一念不愛,水不能溺;若一念不瞋,火不能燒;若J40nB483_p0230c23一念不喜,風不能飄。如此即是無依道人。佛從無依J40nB483_p0230c24生,若悟無依佛,亦不立者般說話,可謂稱水和泥。治J40nB483_p0230c25平今日更須泥裏洗土。何也?大川和尚于無方一時J40nB483_p0230c26四大分解,師資遠隔,含波禪人特到治平,欲詣報惠J40nB483_p0230c27酬恩,遽爾四大乖和,弗獲從心,值茲畢九之期,恭就J40nB483_p0230c28祖堂,耑設清供,禮請山僧代為表荅。且道:師資會聚,J40nB483_p0230c29祖孫一堂,畢竟有何話會?」良久,云:「依離聚散了無關,J40nB483_p0230c30親炙遙陳總一般,悲願勿忘勤祖室,烈焰爐中涌雪J40nB483_p0231a01團。」
J40nB483_p0231a02輔爵昆玉薦嚴,請小參。「化人詰陽燄,谷響荅潮淙,一J40nB483_p0231a03切法如幻,罪福本來空。既是罪福皆空、諸法如幻,且J40nB483_p0231a04道孝士周輔爵昆玉這段報本哀悃何所表荅?山僧J40nB483_p0231a05代為以空拶空、以幻立幻去也。那裏是以空拶空聻?J40nB483_p0231a06居官一品未為榮,食粟萬鐘奚足富?去住亨貞功德J40nB483_p0231a07齊,丈夫意氣迥超卓。那裏是以幻立幻?森森蘭桂滿J40nB483_p0231a08庭芳,斑斑玉筍沿階聚,哭送斜陽欲恨誰?男兒各具J40nB483_p0231a09沖天志。者些且置,試問諸人:即今鳳宇居士音容儼J40nB483_p0231a10在,且道一靈真性在甚麼處?諸人若于者個關頭諦J40nB483_p0231a11當分明,匪特先靈有據、孝悃得伸,目前在會諸人乃J40nB483_p0231a12宗乃祖、若冤若親一時普薦。作麼普薦聻?」良久,云:「石J40nB483_p0231a13人含笑覓知音,木馬遊程不記春,遺澤孝慈津濟遠,J40nB483_p0231a14應時納祐蟄雷轟。」喝一喝。
J40nB483_p0231a15文學佑臣薦嚴,請小參。師豎拄杖,云:「大道在目前,水J40nB483_p0231a16是水,山是山;玄機超物外,佛非佛,凡非凡。恁麼薦得,J40nB483_p0231a17一味生擒活捉,百般大用天然,去住迥離回互,生死J40nB483_p0231a18了不相關,任爾奴呼十聖,從教婢喚三賢;其或未然,J40nB483_p0231a19山僧述而不作、信而好古,竊比于我老彭。」乃舉:「陸亙J40nB483_p0231a20大夫問南泉和尚:『弟子家中有片石,或時坐、或時臥,J40nB483_p0231a21欲鐫作佛,得否?』泉曰:『得。』大夫曰:『莫不得否?』泉曰:『不得。』J40nB483_p0231a22雲巖晟拈云:『坐即佛,不坐即非佛。』洞山价曰:『不坐即J40nB483_p0231a23佛,坐即非佛。』天童覺曰:『轉功就位、轉位就功雖是洞J40nB483_p0231a24山父子始得,且南泉意作麼生?直是鍼錐不入。』」師云:J40nB483_p0231a25「洞山父子轉功就位,致令天童路見不平,只得南泉J40nB483_p0231a26針錐不入。即今文學范佑臣父子轉位就功,山僧未J40nB483_p0231a27免敷演伽陀,重宣斯義,追感先靈意志慇,思酬罔極J40nB483_p0231a28啟無生,月中丹桂和雲拔,火裏青蓮帶露擎,七日喜J40nB483_p0231a29聯七夕巧,九品協應九階瑩,泥牛木馬咸歌唱,遺澤J40nB483_p0231a30餘光蔭滿庭。雖然如是,且道不涉功位一句又作麼J40nB483_p0231b01生?」良久,卓拄杖,云:「唵摩尼莎癹吒度嚕伽多嚀。」
J40nB483_p0231b02宣慰司君馬公對靈小參。「六十年前,先師以無上心J40nB483_p0231b03印一印印定,我公大護法即以如幻三昧兩諦親承、J40nB483_p0231b04赤肩擔荷,是以六十年來用斯三昧,忠君孝親存篤J40nB483_p0231b05敬,逃禪味道適慇懃;用斯三昧,操觚染翰珠璣落,酌J40nB483_p0231b06酒敲詩星斗零;用斯三昧,蔭子榮孫芳世澤,老安少J40nB483_p0231b07敬樂亨貞;用斯三昧,楂梨蘭桂斑斑美,河帶山銘在J40nB483_p0231b08在新。者是我公如幻履踐,目今六十年後治平越歷J40nB483_p0231b09關山特特到此,畢竟如何以表來意?」良久,云:「法源世J40nB483_p0231b10誼兩相關,帶水拖泥詎等閒?海印金章頻煥發,嘉聲J40nB483_p0231b11千古播人寰。」
J40nB483_p0231b12止水禪人小參。「畢一生行苦功勤,值終身方袍圓頂,J40nB483_p0231b13胡期一旦遽亡羊?真俗惶惶心未泯。山僧今為爾攸J40nB483_p0231b14分,慎勿抱鏡而狂騁,謂爾為擲錫騰空,不見鐸聲振J40nB483_p0231b15醒;謂爾為入石穿山,遍覓茫無隱疹。幽邃寒霜謾棲J40nB483_p0231b16其,荒林埜吹須猛省,生死罪福等空花,去住因緣如J40nB483_p0231b17電影,止歸方寸戒珠圓,水淨寒潭孤月炯。既是珠現J40nB483_p0231b18月明,今日山僧更有甚麼叮囑?」畫[○@水]相,云:「相空空相J40nB483_p0231b19兩忘緣,纖塵涓滴歸予艇。」復作撐篙勢,云:「渡來,渡來。」J40nB483_p0231b20審戒,小參。「假有原非有,真空本不空,空假齊坐斷,雪J40nB483_p0231b21火一爐紅。紅爐雪點快乘機,正是梅香噴鼻時,噴鼻J40nB483_p0231b22梅花香九九,應時及節頗相宜。作麼生是應時及節J40nB483_p0231b23聻?昔僧參一尊宿,纔展臥具,宿云:『不用通時暄,還我J40nB483_p0231b24文彩未彰時道理來。』僧云:『某甲有口啞卻即得苦死,J40nB483_p0231b25覓個臘月扇子作麼?』宿作打勢,僧把住拄杖,云:『還我J40nB483_p0231b26未拈棒時道理。』宿云:『隨我者隨之南北,不隨我者苦J40nB483_p0231b27住東西。』僧云:『隨與不隨且置,請師拈出南北東西。』宿J40nB483_p0231b28便打。」師云:「即今看來,這棒未嘗有著落,這話未曾有J40nB483_p0231b29折角,文彩未彰時已自帶齒黏牙,棒喝未施處早已J40nB483_p0231b30傷鋒犯鍔,爭似治平今日輕重遮難潛消,大小根塵J40nB483_p0231c01殞穫,一味哆哆啝啝,百般灑灑脫脫,為甚麼迥卓犖?」J40nB483_p0231c02喝一喝,云:「彩鳳五色毛,祥麟一隻角。」
J40nB483_p0231c03文學李克俊昆玉薦嚴,請小參。豎拄杖,云:「這個本無J40nB483_p0231c04來去,生死了不相關,鴈過長空掉影,月沉寒水輝淵。J40nB483_p0231c05所以道:一圓一切圓,不待水銀墮地;一覺一切覺,豈J40nB483_p0231c06容古鏡重研?作麼生說個一圓一切圓、一覺一切覺J40nB483_p0231c07底道理?」乃舉:「樞密師川徐公侍父龍圖謁法昌靈源J40nB483_p0231c08和尚,論道終日,公聞之,藐如也。後法昌和尚于談笑J40nB483_p0231c09間坐脫,公異之,始篤信。及丁父憂,念無以報罔極,乃J40nB483_p0231c10請靈源和尚就孝址說法。源陞座,問荅畢,乃曰:『諸仁J40nB483_p0231c11者!只如龍圖讀萬卷書,如水傳器,涓滴不移,尋常著J40nB483_p0231c12在甚麼處?即今捨識之後,這萬卷書又向甚麼處著?』J40nB483_p0231c13公于座下灑然自得,遂曰:『吾無恨矣。』源下座,問曰:『學J40nB483_p0231c14士見個甚麼道理便恁麼道?』公曰:『若有所見,則鈍滯J40nB483_p0231c15和尚去也。』源曰:『恁麼則老僧不如。』公曰:『和尚是何心J40nB483_p0231c16行?』源乃大笑。這個公案恰恰符同。何也?相輔檀越在J40nB483_p0231c17日,每常對山僧云:『持誦般若,文學昆玉亦未嘗知。』今J40nB483_p0231c18請對靈址演說般若,山僧不必問其心持萬卷、德積J40nB483_p0231c19千鍾,一味惟斯阿伽陀,十二時中安樂禁,匪特文學J40nB483_p0231c20昆玉灑然自得、哀恨殞銷,頓令過去椿嚴逍遙極樂、J40nB483_p0231c21現存萱慈亨吉庭幃,益俾即今一會諸人若存若歿J40nB483_p0231c22莫不交光相錯、撒手舒徐,為甚這般靈應?」擊拄杖,云:J40nB483_p0231c23「木人抱板雲中拍,石女將笙劫外吹,德器敷盈于海J40nB483_p0231c24印,芳英懿美遍寰區。」
J40nB483_p0231c25奇秀孫居士請為母王道人對靈小參。「見聞如幻瞖,J40nB483_p0231c26三界若空華。聞復瞖根除,塵消覺圓淨。淨極光通達,J40nB483_p0231c27寂照含空裏。卻來觀世間,猶如夢中事。」高聲喚云:「王J40nB483_p0231c28道人!汝還知非夢非幻、即假即真、無去無來、不變不J40nB483_p0231c29更底道理麼?」良久,畫○云:「事佛精勤數十秋,純清絕J40nB483_p0231c30點果因周。一輪寶鑑旋元發,桂馥蘭芳蔭百秋。」
J40nB483_p0232a01愚若賢座除薦二親請小參。「萬里離師為報親,冀酬J40nB483_p0232a02罔極啟能仁,蓼莪慚誦哀衷切,貝葉弘敷法利殷。昨J40nB483_p0232a03夜明星光皎潔,今朝紫臂影飛騰,應時協節無差互,J40nB483_p0232a04洵是因真果亦深。山僧既應其請,今值佛成道之晨,J40nB483_p0232a05作麼生說個因真果實底道理?昔大孝釋迦如來初J40nB483_p0232a06生七日,其母摩耶夫人便生忉利,迨後睹星悟道,乃J40nB483_p0232a07上昇忉利天宮為母說法,以助往生卓越之因。又慈J40nB483_p0232a08明和尚幼歲披緇,一日持銀盤為母氏壽,母曰:『子盡J40nB483_p0232a09棄所愛而出家,今返持此以獻,將累我於地下矣。』慈J40nB483_p0232a10明自爾奮志參方,竟為一代大宗匠,蓋慈母警發也。J40nB483_p0232a11用是觀之,全在子之盡心於道以光像季法輪,正不J40nB483_p0232a12在父母之賢否也。苟摩耶之聖而悉達,不能持堅固J40nB483_p0232a13願力為大法王,安有佛母之名流傳于他方此土哉?J40nB483_p0232a14茲者愚若賢座不上忉利就園廬以資薦雙親,不持J40nB483_p0232a15銀盤效營盆飯眾而超度考妣,恁般行履,且道與大J40nB483_p0232a16孝能仁、慈明老漢個中還有優劣也無?」以拂子畫○J40nB483_p0232a17云:「親疏普利安蓮土,真俗同盟振祖猷。」
示眾
J40nB483_p0232a19示眾。舉:「雪竇和尚偈云:『客從遠方來,遺我徑寸壁,中J40nB483_p0232a20有四個字,字字無人識。』佛鑑和尚云:『客從遠方來,遺J40nB483_p0232a21我徑寸壁,中有四個字,不必重拈出。』高峰和尚云:『客J40nB483_p0232a22從遠方來,遺我徑寸壁,中有四個字,字字無平仄。』山J40nB483_p0232a23僧今示一偈:人從東廁來,卻往西廚去,拾個乾矢橛,J40nB483_p0232a24爛嚼甜如蜜。試問:汝等還知嗞味麼?如或未知,次第J40nB483_p0232a25出斑領取。」
J40nB483_p0232a26考功,示眾。「古德道:『句中意,意中句,須彌聳于巨川;句J40nB483_p0232a27鏟意,意鏟句,烈士發乎狂矢。』秪待牙如劍樹,口似血J40nB483_p0232a28盆,徒騁玄鋒,虛張意氣。所以,淨名杜口,早屬繁詞;摩J40nB483_p0232a29竭掩室,已揚家醜。自餘從上老古錐,尤向孤峰頂上J40nB483_p0232a30挐雲吐霧,翫弄神機,腳跟下各與三十。且道:過在什J40nB483_p0232b01麼處?機關不是韓光作,莫把胸襟當等閒。古德既如J40nB483_p0232b02斯道,山僧又恁麼舉,且道:是激揚先德?是鼓厲後昆?」J40nB483_p0232b03良久,喝一喝,云:「菩薩蠻,行香子,雙雙隊隊釣錦鯉。」
J40nB483_p0232b04示眾。「昨宵香罷驗禪人,蟬噪哇鳴驚眾群,為甚春初J40nB483_p0232b05行秋令?六月炎炎火煉冰。又道:踏著秤錘原是鐵,是J40nB483_p0232b06鐵是銅迥未分,哆哆啝啝剛一會,掉背踏翻明月村。J40nB483_p0232b07倦來擬把雙眸合,雷雨交參應候臨,鐘鼓頻敲方暫J40nB483_p0232b08止,板首壁爆三四聲。為是聲來耳邊過?為是耳向聲J40nB483_p0232b09中尋?莫是顯唱濟宗旨?賓看主來主看賓。縱奪料揀J40nB483_p0232b10潛施設,照用棒喝暗相陳,如斯一一親領略,可謂體J40nB483_p0232b11佛向上人。荊棘林中撒手過,夜明簾外縱步行,山僧J40nB483_p0232b12今特為舉示,從教冤債自分明。」
J40nB483_p0232b13考功示眾。舉:「興化為克賓維那曰:『汝不久當為唱導J40nB483_p0232b14之師。』賓曰:『不入者保社。』化曰:『會了不入?不會不入?』賓J40nB483_p0232b15曰:『總不與麼。』化便打,曰:『克賓維那法戰不勝,罰錢五J40nB483_p0232b16貫作饡飯一堂。』次日,克賓自白槌門:『克賓維那法戰J40nB483_p0232b17不勝,罰錢五貫作饡飯一堂,仍須出院。』雲居舜和尚J40nB483_p0232b18曰:『然則大冶精金應無變色,爭奈興化令行大嚴?若J40nB483_p0232b19不是克賓,大難承當。總似而今泛泛之徒,翻轉面皮J40nB483_p0232b20多少時也?』大慧老祖曰:『雲居恁麼批判,未免拗曲作J40nB483_p0232b21直。徑山則不然,要作臨濟烜赫兒孫,須是翻轉面皮J40nB483_p0232b22始得。』」師云:「然則興化師資法令如斯行,諸老又恁麼J40nB483_p0232b23斷,山僧今又如斯舉,汝等還是覿面承當底是?翻轉J40nB483_p0232b24面皮底是?是又是個甚麼?」良久,擊禪床,云:「易分雪裏J40nB483_p0232b25粉,難辯墨中煤。」
J40nB483_p0232b26示眾。舉:「古德云:『他人住處我不住,他人行處我不行,J40nB483_p0232b27不是與人難共聚,大都緇素要分明。』大慧祖云:『他人J40nB483_p0232b28住處我亦住,他人行處我亦行,瞥喜瞥瞋何所事?新J40nB483_p0232b29羅日午打三更。』」師云:「治平亦有一偈:他人住處勿貪J40nB483_p0232b30程,他人行處莫躲跟,分得分明太忒殺,分明分得忒J40nB483_p0232c01煞人。恁麼告報,且道與古人相去多少?」喝一喝,云:「綠J40nB483_p0232c02竹叢中棲彩鳳,桃花浪裏躍金鱗。」
J40nB483_p0232c03鑄鐘,示眾。「二儀作鼎爐,兩輪為冶煉,橐兮籥兮扇鼓J40nB483_p0232c04風雷,安那般那恬息智焰,一切堅礙倩爾銷融,萬種J40nB483_p0232c05昏蒙賴伊爍煥,九疇八卦由此發生,五音六律憑斯J40nB483_p0232c06應現,上窮阿膩巔頂,下徹波吒底岸,動湧激,震吼遍,J40nB483_p0232c07妙應觀音巧方便。且道根塵不偶、觀聽旋元一句又J40nB483_p0232c08作麼生?」良久,喝一喝,云:「洪聲朗徹三千界,大器包含J40nB483_p0232c09八萬門。」
J40nB483_p0232c10示眾。「古德云:『天生一穴,藏吾枯骨,骨朽成土,土能生J40nB483_p0232c11物,結個葫蘆挂趙州壁,永脫輪迴,超三世佛。』山僧則J40nB483_p0232c12不然。穴從何生?骨向甚出?那塊屬土?若個是物?葫蘆J40nB483_p0232c13架懸,趙州壁突,頓斷輪迴,撲翻魔佛。恁麼道,與古人J40nB483_p0232c14相去多少?三九五十三,六八四千六。」
J40nB483_p0232c15示眾。「拈花微笑,千載繫驢橛;斷臂安心,萬代葛藤窩。J40nB483_p0232c16自餘甚麼爛冬瓜、破沙盆,到底洗雪不淨;又復搬出J40nB483_p0232c17七斤衫、一口劍,至今擒縱難舒。其間機分萬狀、派列J40nB483_p0232c18五宗,總是陳年滯貨求售莫由,惹起一夥賽寶鬥富J40nB483_p0232c19底鬨鬧無休、摩娑靡罄。用溈仰,五百星辰一齊下,從J40nB483_p0232c20教如象又如馬。騁臨濟,闇淡灘頭拴赤鯉,迷魂陣上J40nB483_p0232c21閃紅旗。顯雲門,東海巨鰲眉濺血,南山焦尾舌抽魂。J40nB483_p0232c22法曹洞,烏雞嚙雪火星飛,玉兔吞煤石蟹舞。展法眼,J40nB483_p0232c23大地山河絕點塵,清風皓月無收管。看來真個是趨J40nB483_p0232c24炎赴熱人皆厭,事到頭來不自由。山僧今為一筆勾J40nB483_p0232c25下,免教辜負海漚。」
J40nB483_p0232c26送慶忠老人舍利下兩浙,辭院,示眾。「仰彌高,鑽彌堅,J40nB483_p0232c27瞻在前,忽在後,木雞啼,華鯨吼,雖則公案現成,卻落J40nB483_p0232c28些兒窠臼。那裏是落窠臼處?香林四十年始得打成J40nB483_p0232c29一片,死守聊城;南泉牧牛數十春秋,鞭繩忒短;趙州J40nB483_p0232c30三十年不雜用心,唐喪目前。古人這些行腳,故是攧J40nB483_p0233a01斤播兩,未免頭露尾藏。爭如山僧住茲將四十載,一J40nB483_p0233a02味痴痴訥訥,百般濟濟牄牄,木頭竹屑沿壁塗紅抹J40nB483_p0233a03白,泥團土塊滿座金碧輝煌,任他許多紛鬧,于己毫J40nB483_p0233a04沒囊藏。昔年曾染小恙,偶拈一偈略張。」乃曰:「一番白J40nB483_p0233a05布單,蓋將四十年,今日撦破了,免罰饡飯錢。語雖戲J40nB483_p0233a06句,情有感傷,不感世路之失倫失緒,惟冀祖席之毋J40nB483_p0233a07弛毋荒。恒將塔傍規石,日砥日礪;每臨磬銘鐘誡,時J40nB483_p0233a08體時詳。趨向母焚檀糶炭,裁成忌衣轉為裳。操修靡J40nB483_p0233a09效客作,出處休類牙行。佛祖門庭莫混濫,先人面目J40nB483_p0233a10謾改常。因果倘不顧忌,憲網定是昭彰。不忍言射影J40nB483_p0233a11含沙刺疾,難堪見火床肉地堅長。初祖遇毒明矣,思J40nB483_p0233a12師立誓誠良。以茲看來,然則作斯堂者,必有損益;住J40nB483_p0233a13斯院者,詎免否臧?當法琴瑟琵琶頭角,毋懷魑魅魍J40nB483_p0233a14魎肝腸。尤冀具一肩擔荷,慎毋示兩袒革囊。現鳳毛J40nB483_p0233a15麟趾貞兆,泯獅蟲驢腳行藏。斷文殊劍,以破高堅前J40nB483_p0233a16後之公案;折普賢杖,用驅雞啼鯨吼啾喤。四恩賴以J40nB483_p0233a17普報,三寶於是輝揚。不解腳跟掉轉,定遭爐炭鑊湯。J40nB483_p0233a18試問諸仁者:爐炭鑊湯裏還有安身處也無?」良久,云:J40nB483_p0233a19「欸乃一聲奪賽彩,郵程萬里獲徵祥。」
J40nB483_p0233a20鑄鐘垂誡示眾。「新供燈田,業非一主,邊界交參,務須J40nB483_p0233a21照契鐫鑄,確為遠久定規。雖曰供佛濟眾之恒產,乃J40nB483_p0233a22屬十方龍天之常住,抑先人道德感招之所致耳。凡J40nB483_p0233a23住斯院、執斯事者,毋以一絲一粟妄授私侵,毋以針J40nB483_p0233a24芥毫毛徇情予奪,毋耽異味另爨私煎,毋隱眾園什J40nB483_p0233a25物顧舊滋親,自招片紙疋絹之酬、截舌耕犁之報。凡J40nB483_p0233a26辦斯庄、直斯歲者,毋以石斗升合曲情瞞昧,毋以塊J40nB483_p0233a27石簣土潛為易移,毋以寸田尺地陰相侵凌,毋以園J40nB483_p0233a28林竹樹不語伐斫,致遭豬首驢腳之形、毛癩壓油之J40nB483_p0233a29殃。凡護此院、悉斯檀者,毋嗜酒葷貨殖互為恣牽,毋J40nB483_p0233a30取苞苴逢迎交相狎近,不持空杯有犯,自爾飭誡無J40nB483_p0233b01違,必感五桂三錫之禎祥、編竹還帶之響應。夫如是,J40nB483_p0233b02則僧眾遵佛制祖規,竭力精修以報荅四恩;檀信秉J40nB483_p0233b03靈山之遺囑,慇勤崇信而護助三寶。常為祝 國保J40nB483_p0233b04境之福田,永作明心見性之淨土。倘或故違,伽藍昭J40nB483_p0233b05鑑。」
J40nB483_p0233b06方廣禪院示眾。「萬聚山般般具足,方廣院法法圓成,J40nB483_p0233b07都來恒布福慧田,自是永歸華藏海。意其運轉隨機,J40nB483_p0233b08必也舒陳有據,示一境而諸緣合輒,立一法以萬彙J40nB483_p0233b09協符。智行雙彰,長子少男落節;權實並顯,屠兒龍女J40nB483_p0233b10失威。大人境界互圓通,末代招提宜規畫,雖住山拄J40nB483_p0233b11杖不假莊嚴,然建化門庭尤貴施設。理無二致,事有J40nB483_p0233b12千差,差之毫釐,失之千里。諦觀斯院,先賢上達,後裔J40nB483_p0233b13下馳,良由岐路亡羊,頓令宗綱失緒。聞戒多持戒少J40nB483_p0233b14之嚴警,覽者自當心寒;承恩易報恩難之佳訓,聆之J40nB483_p0233b15益令身慄。憶其為棟為梁,必焉可法可則。昔也應朝J40nB483_p0233b16聘,錫紫衣,辭帝闕,樂山居,遂受施姓布金之請,開茲J40nB483_p0233b17石窩方廣之場。三關險峻,驗盡四海英靈;一眾傾誠,J40nB483_p0233b18換回博地風月。兩州郡宰肅皈依,十方善信虔拱伏,J40nB483_p0233b19可云盛矣!迨後襲僧首,冠諸山,城衙山舍任安居,紳J40nB483_p0233b20士名人咸衛護,亦謂優歟!詎知獅絃艱續,水乳易參,J40nB483_p0233b21兼值劫火燔燎,僧眾零落,遂致常住頹圮之若斯,尤J40nB483_p0233b22幸剝而云復。感八十有六老僧之勤懇,耑祈郡侯再J40nB483_p0233b23造之弘仁,是以闔郡紳衿檀越以見憐,諸山耆艾禪J40nB483_p0233b24德懷不忍,爰興繼絕舉廢之詞、惻隱撫恤之勸,諄延J40nB483_p0233b25山埜兩院兼主一肩擔荷。第深思熟揣,德涼才淺,難J40nB483_p0233b26堪是責,總以不忍之心輿議難卻,只得勉應其誠,螳J40nB483_p0233b27臂于斯。矧其間漏獘日久,弗辭口業叮嚀,俾整先賢J40nB483_p0233b28之懿範,聿開人天之正眼,令佛制祖規以不磨,檀護J40nB483_p0233b29僧行而不濫,端肅儀型,彰陳條例。不許另爨私食,取J40nB483_p0233b30截舌報;不許種植五辛,穢污伽藍;不許茹葷飲酒,墜J40nB483_p0233c01墮沸屎;不許蓄養孳牲,販賣經營;不許私赴念誦,常J40nB483_p0233c02住不勤;不許竹木風水,斫伐徇情;不許針芥絲粟,顧J40nB483_p0233c03舊滋親;不許僧俗串結,苞苴妄行;不許常住邊界,寸J40nB483_p0233c04土私侵;非吊慰應請學行散眾,不許獨過俗門;非歲J40nB483_p0233c05臘節會老幼婦女,不許擅入叢林。已上略述數款,務J40nB483_p0233c06須一一遵行。依之者,緇素蘭芳桂秀;違之者,稚耄活J40nB483_p0233c07陷生沉。因果毫忽不爽,報應時刻有徵,體斯真操實J40nB483_p0233c08履,確為後學準繩,四恩由斯普報,三有賴是資薰。更J40nB483_p0233c09有末後一句,慇慇拭望諸人,那裏是慇望處?六度誓J40nB483_p0233c10勤光佛日,四洪願切衍心燈。」
茶話
J40nB483_p0233c12小除茶話。「古德云:『五蘊山頭有一片放光石,從眼門J40nB483_p0233c13放光,照見山河大地;從耳門放光,採聽一切音響;從J40nB483_p0233c14鼻門放光,通聞一切香臭;從口門放光,出納一切語J40nB483_p0233c15言。祗是被無名、執著二種籠絡,雖在光天化日之下,J40nB483_p0233c16猶然黑暗不自覺知。倘有智者善將此石鐫作一尊J40nB483_p0233c17古佛,不但觀音、勢至、文殊、普賢齊來唱和,即過去莊J40nB483_p0233c18嚴劫、現在仁賢劫、未來星宿劫,三世諸佛同聲讚揚。J40nB483_p0233c19汝等若於行時無無明、無執著,便鐫一尊行佛;于住J40nB483_p0233c20時無無明、無執著,便鐫一尊住佛;于坐時無無明、無J40nB483_p0233c21執著,便鐫一尊坐佛;于臥時無無明、無執著,便鐫一J40nB483_p0233c22尊臥佛。于斯薦得分明,乃至一切折旋俯仰悉皆放J40nB483_p0233c23光動地。其或未然,只待汝等洗面摸著鼻孔、喫飯咂J40nB483_p0233c24著舌頭、經行撞著露柱、飲茶盪著口唇。』呸!原來這個J40nB483_p0233c25就是說話之頭。方知古德亦非誑語,山僧不是口業。J40nB483_p0233c26始信道:大盡必然三十日,小除原是廿四期。送舊迎J40nB483_p0233c27新何所事?一聲爆竹應時機。」喝一喝。
J40nB483_p0233c28檀信請茶話。舉:「長髭曠禪師,有僧為點茶,三巡後便J40nB483_p0233c29問:『不負從上諸聖,如何是長髭第一句?』曠曰:『有口不J40nB483_p0233c30能言。』僧曰:『為什麼有口不能言?』曠乃頌曰:『石獅子,木J40nB483_p0234a01女兒。第一句,諸佛機。言不得,也大奇。直下是,莫狐疑。』J40nB483_p0234a02良久,云:『是第一句?第二句?』僧曰:『不一,不二。』曠曰:『見利J40nB483_p0234a03亡錐,猶自多在。』僧禮拜,曠拈起盞子,曰:『直下不負從J40nB483_p0234a04上諸聖。』僧曰:『直指人心,見性成佛,又作麼生?』曠放下J40nB483_p0234a05盞子,便歸方丈。僧隨後入,曠翹一足,曰:『大地不容鍼,J40nB483_p0234a06汝從何處來?』僧曰:『直是維摩也緘口不得。』曠曰:『偶示J40nB483_p0234a07之間,又逢猛虎。』僧作虎聲,曠以拄杖作亞鎗勢,僧卻J40nB483_p0234a08把住,曰:『大地不容鍼,何處得這個來?』曠曰:『不但維摩,J40nB483_p0234a09文殊也緘口不得。』僧曰:『著箭虎不可當。』曠與一掌,推J40nB483_p0234a10出方丈。後老宿頌曰:『是精識精,是賊識賊。猛虎鱉蛇,J40nB483_p0234a11釋迦彌勒。觀音勢至,寒山拾得。一盞清泉,古今規則。』」J40nB483_p0234a12師云:「既是為規為則,且道即今一會,釋迦、彌勒胥臨,J40nB483_p0234a13觀音、勢至咸聚,寒山、拾得安處?矧其羅列滿盤,斑濟J40nB483_p0234a14闔席,稚壯共飲,鹹淡同餐,規則又在于何?」復舉鍾,云:J40nB483_p0234a15「七碗快酬且隨分,千杯酣醉謾同流。」
J40nB483_p0234a16茶話。舉:「馬頰山本空禪師垂語云:『祗這施為動轉,還J40nB483_p0234a17合得本來祖翁麼?若合得,十二時中無虛棄道理;若J40nB483_p0234a18合不得,喫茶說話往往喚作茶話在。』僧便問:『如何免J40nB483_p0234a19得不成茶話去?』空曰:『汝識得口也未?』僧曰:『如何是口?』J40nB483_p0234a20空曰:『兩片皮也不識。』僧曰:『如何是本來祖翁?』空曰:『大J40nB483_p0234a21眾前不要牽爺恃娘。』僧曰:『大眾忻然去也。』空曰:『你點J40nB483_p0234a22大眾性看。』僧作禮,空曰:『伊往往道一性一切性在。』僧J40nB483_p0234a23欲進語,空曰:『辜負平生行腳眼。』後南堂頌曰:『參禪學J40nB483_p0234a24道莫匆匆,動轉無非觸祖翁。口在面門猶不見,喫茶J40nB483_p0234a25清話故難通。水中鹽味如相似,色裏膠青信不空。欲J40nB483_p0234a26得不招無間業,莫將情解謗宗風。』」師曰:「恁般拈弄,雖J40nB483_p0234a27是應機而發,其間兩兩有些滯搭。是何滯搭?舉措匆J40nB483_p0234a28匆,動觸祖翁,水鹽味似,膠色不空。且道還落情解?不J40nB483_p0234a29落情解?是謗宗風?不謗宗風?」良久,撫案云:「竹凜嚴霜J40nB483_p0234a30枝逾茂,樹沾春露葉更濃。」
