一和尚佛和尚請上堂。「山岌岌水潺潺野草閑花盡J40nB474_p0031a18春光落花流水明祖意報與諸人仔細參這段風光J40nB474_p0031a19如錦繡等閒不與世人看有人更問參禪事此去西J40nB474_p0031a20方萬八千今日承二位和尚邀請眾位兄弟飛錫入J40nB474_p0031a21法駕親臨光降祖庭與大眾辦齋請山僧陞座J40nB474_p0031a22幾句法語與大眾解黏去縛到這裏直得無言可說J40nB474_p0031a23無理可伸不免將錯就錯。」:「世尊因文殊在門外立J40nB474_p0031a24世尊云:『文殊文殊何不進門來?』殊云:『門外不見一法J40nB474_p0031a25以何教我進門?』且道這二老漢還有優劣也無大眾J40nB474_p0031a26若檢點得出許你參學事畢如或未然復聽盤山頌J40nB474_p0031a27元來二老是作家慣弄瑤琴與琵琶更問諸人誰J40nB474_p0031a28解聽清音歷歷遍天涯。」

灤州諸山禪師請上堂乃云:「盤山有一話頭遍滿四J40nB474_p0031a30大部洲若作佛法商量猶是認影迷頭心外別無法J40nB474_p0031b01法外別無心隨緣且度日到岸不迷津開口全體現J40nB474_p0031b02無言露半身悶看白雲散閒觀水月明若問箇中事J40nB474_p0031b03鳥語報知音。」良久:「昨夜風吹黃葉落石筍抽條竹J40nB474_p0031b04更青。」

遵化縣普門座主請上堂乃云:「描不成畫不就一段J40nB474_p0031b06風流如錦繡等閒不與世人看逢人爭敢機泄漏J40nB474_p0031b07以道相識滿天下知心有幾人海枯須見底人死不J40nB474_p0031b08知心且道還有識底心得麼?」舉拄杖:「莫道無心云J40nB474_p0031b09是道無心又隔一重關。」:「世尊初生一手指天一手J40nB474_p0031b10指地周行七步目顧四方:『天上天下吾為獨尊。』J40nB474_p0031b11雲門云:『我當時若見一棒打殺與狗子喫貴圖天下J40nB474_p0031b12太平。』」師云:「雲門老漢雖是出語驚人檢點將來也是J40nB474_p0031b13賊過張弓盤山即不然正好供養。」

高明杲請上堂僧問:「人人有條無生路如何尋不著?」J40nB474_p0031b15師云:「只是不唧溜。」進云:「箇箇參禪悟道悟的是何物?」J40nB474_p0031b16師云:「疑殺闍黎。」師打乃云:「一年之首四時之功三陽J40nB474_p0031b17開泰萬物咸新楊柳綠桃花紅明明祖師意明明古J40nB474_p0031b18佛心山河並大地草木及叢林頭頭非外物處處現J40nB474_p0031b19全身然雖如是只如更新一句作麼生道拄杖頭邊J40nB474_p0031b20春色曉撥轉陽回萬物新。」

當晚小參:「既學此道欲明明德金不博金水不洗水J40nB474_p0031b22心外求道實無所得。」舉拂子:「若識的這箇便知牟J40nB474_p0031b23尼不在西天仲尼不居東魯有人識得心大地無寸J40nB474_p0031b24不說趙州無不道雲門普象骨會輥毬禾山解打J40nB474_p0031b25從前絡索都丟下斬新條令從頭數九九八十一J40nB474_p0031b26五九四十五。」召大眾:「還會麼鱉鼻吞毒蛇大蟲咬J40nB474_p0031b27殺虎。」

秉拂乃云:「截斷千差路坐卻是非關凡聖不同風J40nB474_p0031c03然絕消息到這裏若有祖師西來意和泥合水若無J40nB474_p0031c04祖師西來意合水和泥檢點將來覿面相謾去也J40nB474_p0031c05中可有不受人謾者麼出來試露箇消息看。」眾無語J40nB474_p0031c06既然未會與諸兄弟道破去也。」舉拂子:「盡在箇裏J40nB474_p0031c07休向外尋若向這裏承當得去只教拈一莖草作丈J40nB474_p0031c08六金身將丈六金身作一莖草用指露柱作燈籠J40nB474_p0031c09燈籠作露柱用不為希罕把住放行且置只如正當J40nB474_p0031c10恁麼時一句作麼生道如王寶劍隨王意揮斥縱橫J40nB474_p0031c11得自由。」

秉拂僧問:「即心即佛即不問非心非佛事如何?」師喝J40nB474_p0031c13進云:「即此用離此用又作麼生?」師復喝進云:「恁麼則J40nB474_p0031c14隨波逐浪去也。」師云:「你又在什麼處安身?」僧亦喝J40nB474_p0031c15:「這一喝落在什麼處?」僧無語師云:「無主孤魂。」便打J40nB474_p0031c16乃云:「天不能蓋地不能載風不能吹日不能晒八面J40nB474_p0031c17玲瓏縱橫自在亙古亙今無變無壞既然如是釋迦J40nB474_p0031c18老子未離兜率降皇宮未出母胎度人且道J40nB474_p0031c19諸人還知這箇消息也無若道無人人具足箇箇圓J40nB474_p0031c20若道有即今又在什麼處還會麼其或未然更與J40nB474_p0031c21通箇消息去也佛祖機關窮徹底白雲深處不藏身。」

秉拂乃云:「若論此事本無言說但有言說都無實義J40nB474_p0031c23三世諸佛到這裏只得嘴挂壁上歷代祖師不敢正J40nB474_p0031c24即今教山僧說箇什麼即得若道箇山是山水是J40nB474_p0031c25僧是僧俗是俗未免埋沒後人若道山不是山J40nB474_p0031c26不是水僧不是僧俗不是俗又生鈍置後人到這裏J40nB474_p0031c27還有出得此圈圚者麼若出得此圈圚許爾參學事J40nB474_p0031c28其或未然更與你打葛藤去也。」復舉:「白侍郎問鳥J40nB474_p0031c29:『如何是佛法大意?』窠曰:『諸惡莫作眾善奉行。』侍郎J40nB474_p0031c30:『三歲孩童也解恁麼道。』窠云:『三歲孩童雖然道得J40nB474_p0032a01八十老翁行不得。』」師云:「侍郎好肉剜瘡鳥窠無夢說J40nB474_p0032a02雖然如是且道侍郎還識鳥窠意旨麼鴛鴦繡出J40nB474_p0032a03從君看不把金針度與人。」

示眾:「諸禪德既要參禪必須了脫生死大事不是J40nB474_p0033a23說了便休前輩老人大有樣子在不見趙州除二時J40nB474_p0033a24粥飯沒有雜用心處長慶坐破七箇蒲團豈不是謂J40nB474_p0033a25生死的樣子且不可草草蔥蔥但於三根椽下七尺J40nB474_p0033a26單前綿綿密密朝究暮參時刻莫放如兩木相鑽J40nB474_p0033a27火相似忽然冷灰豆爆桶子底脫方知山河大地J40nB474_p0033a28暗色空總是自家珍頭頭上明物物上顯更有什J40nB474_p0033a29麼生死去來之相豈有分別者哉雖然如是須知男J40nB474_p0033a30兒自有沖天志不向古人行處行。」

示眾:「若欲學道不在言說但有言說都無實義J40nB474_p0033b02人學道有過則改今人學道自障其心棄本逐求J40nB474_p0033b03假為真不肯向自腳跟下追求只圖嘴吧吧的會J40nB474_p0033b04說到驢年與自分上毫沒交涉江河無礙人之J40nB474_p0033b05佛祖無謾人之意只是時人行不將去故設方便J40nB474_p0033b06誘引諸人令其得入各各識取本來面目佛法別無J40nB474_p0033b07奇特只要識得破信得及佛言:『信能遠離生死苦J40nB474_p0033b08能必到如來地。』且道作麼生是如來地不是知音J40nB474_p0033b09徒勞側耳。」

示眾:「最初學道者不遇明眼宗師指點自家一味J40nB474_p0033b11杜撰將古人殘茶剩飯念上幾篇蘊在胸中不肯放J40nB474_p0033b12又不知是病便說我知我見佛法元是者箇道理J40nB474_p0033b13當作脩行迷之遠矣及乎遇著明眼人一拶面紅齒J40nB474_p0033b14眼似流星只落得一場氣悶又不肯親近善知識J40nB474_p0033b15反生我慢如是之流燋芽敗種難可救療若是真實J40nB474_p0033b16學道之士與他人不同發勇猛心具堅固志如須彌J40nB474_p0033b17山相似一般一切邪風搖撼不動單提自本參話J40nB474_p0033b18勿論結制解制閑時忙時極力參究時刻不放J40nB474_p0033b19右拶拶到水窮山盡皮骨粉碎忽然全身突露J40nB474_p0033b20下了然方知三世諸佛根源歷代祖師落處然雖如J40nB474_p0033b21還有知落處者麼?」良久:「千山勢倒嶽邊止萬派J40nB474_p0033b22聲皈海上消。」

七中示眾:「鐵樹開花石上長藕虛空點頭佛殿倒J40nB474_p0033b24此四句有一句有體有用有擒有縱向這裏緇素J40nB474_p0033b25分明許汝參學事畢其或未然且向燈影下打瞌睡。」J40nB474_p0033b26高居士請師示眾:「諸禪德既然出家學道須會得J40nB474_p0033b27佛祖意始得若會得佛祖意勿論僧俗男女貧富貴J40nB474_p0033b28隨豐家儉安樂度日若不會得佛祖意總讀三乘J40nB474_p0033b29十二分鑽他故紙與自分上毫沒交涉汝等諸人J40nB474_p0033b30各各腳根下有一段大事因緣不費汝纖毫氣力J40nB474_p0033c01諸佛諸祖無異無別只是汝等諸人信根狹劣不肯J40nB474_p0033c02死心忘意若是箇大丈夫漢一刀兩段立箇決定志J40nB474_p0033c03自然有箇到家時也豈不見長慶二十年間不明斯J40nB474_p0033c04一日捲簾忽然大悟有偈云:『也大差也大差捲起J40nB474_p0033c05簾來見天下有人問我解何宗拈起拂子劈口打。』J40nB474_p0033c06道長慶老漢見箇什麼道理便發言吐氣還有識得J40nB474_p0033c07長慶落處麼若識得長慶落處便識得山僧落處J40nB474_p0033c08得山僧落處便識得諸佛落處識得諸佛落處便識J40nB474_p0033c09得天下老和尚落處識得天下老和尚落處便識得J40nB474_p0033c10落處會中還有識得自落處者麼?」時有僧出J40nB474_p0033c11師便打僧復喝師復打僧退師顧視左右喝一喝J40nB474_p0033c12:「水向石邊流出冷風從花裏過來香。」便下座

示眾:「汝等諸人既然參禪學道須除卻執著妄想J40nB474_p0033c14之心。《圓覺經:『若諸眾生先除事障未除理障但能J40nB474_p0033c15悟入聲聞圓覺未能顯住菩薩境界。』正此意也故學J40nB474_p0033c16道者不明此理所以不識心性之真而執滯此理J40nB474_p0033c17免心性之礙是心勉強行之欲研無上菩提洞明心J40nB474_p0033c18即不可執滯此理渡河須用筏到岸不須舟不但J40nB474_p0033c19釋教儒教亦如是只如顏回不遷怒不貳過即是除J40nB474_p0033c20事障也至於如愚坐忘即理障除矣古人改過遷善J40nB474_p0033c21以除事障安能不思不勉以除理障哉今人自障其J40nB474_p0033c22故不能達諸佛之本源譬如昔者舜畜吠犬朝暮J40nB474_p0033c23所見惟舜一日堯過而吠之非是愛舜而惡堯也J40nB474_p0033c24是常見者惟舜而未見堯也今時之人事障理障不J40nB474_p0033c25猶如舜犬之見也慎之慎之。」

示眾居士。「夫在家菩薩脩行如火裏生蓮爭名奪利J40nB474_p0034a06意氣難調何況火宅煩攪種種牽纏所以難得解脫J40nB474_p0034a07除非大根大器之人做的主宰直下省悟看破J40nB474_p0034a08凡情一切放下觀一切法如幻如夢萬法皆空隨時J40nB474_p0034a09消遣與昔維摩詰龐居士裴相國張無盡豈不是在J40nB474_p0034a10家居士了脫生死同證無為出生死海得涅槃樂J40nB474_p0034a11不快哉法性場中本無僧俗男女等相只要信得及J40nB474_p0034a12放得下子脫生死大事不妨人間走一遭莫要失卻J40nB474_p0034a13本也。」

顯如領眾居士請小參乃云:「若論這一段大事因緣J40nB474_p0034b14人人本具個個不缺祖師法同佛佛道同心即是法J40nB474_p0034b15法即是心心法不異故名為佛釋迦老子未離兜率J40nB474_p0034b16降皇宮未出母胎度人達磨西來面壁九載J40nB474_p0034b17嘴挂壁上無得無說且道還識這二老漢的消息麼J40nB474_p0034b18知音不在頻頻舉達者方知暗裏驚昔龐居士云:『J40nB474_p0034b19男不婚有女不嫁大家團戀頭更說無生話。』有楊傑J40nB474_p0034b20居士云:『男大須婚女大須嫁討甚閑工夫且說無生J40nB474_p0034b21。』後有海月禪師云:『我也無有男婚我也無有女嫁J40nB474_p0034b22飢來吃飯困來眠那管他無生話。』這三箇老漢雖然J40nB474_p0034b23一鼻孔出氣各人作用不同三箇老漢非等閒手把J40nB474_p0034b24琵琶月下彈雖然古調無音韻贏得風光滿世間。」J40nB474_p0034b25
