J40nB474_p0027c02 J40nB474_p0027c03康熙二年十月十五日,高良富、王政民等恭請住灤J40nB474_p0027c04州萬善寺結制,上堂。至法堂,拈疏云:「諸佛慧命,祖師J40nB474_p0027c05根源,盡在裏許,大眾還見麼?其或未然,卻請維那宣J40nB474_p0027c06念。」宣疏畢,指法座云:「佛祖玄關,橫身直過,寶華王座,J40nB474_p0027c07許什麼人登?」喝一喝,便陞。拈香云:「此一瓣香,根盤劫J40nB474_p0027c08外、葉覆娑婆,信手拈來,爇向爐中,祝延J40nB474_p0027c09今上皇帝萬歲,萬歲,萬萬歲!」
J40nB474_p0027c10又拈香,云:「此一瓣香,奉為滿朝文武、闔國公卿、本州J40nB474_p0027c11眾鄉紳、居士等,伏願永作法門之柱石、同證無生之J40nB474_p0027c12正果。」又拈,云:「此瓣香諸佛難測、神鬼不知,卻被盤山J40nB474_p0027c13覷破,第三回拈出,爇向爐中,專為供養現住盤山古J40nB474_p0027c14中盤堂上大博本師和尚,用酬法乳之恩。」斂衣就座。J40nB474_p0027c15維那白槌畢,師云:「垂鉤四海釣獰龍,格外玄機訪知J40nB474_p0027c16音,會中若有仙佗客,大家共撫無絃琴。還有知音者J40nB474_p0027c17麼?出眾相見。」僧問:「今日和尚將拄杖子作用,百年之J40nB474_p0027c18後將什麼作用?」師云:「樹凋葉落滿天秋。」進喝,師云:「這J40nB474_p0027c19一喝落在甚麼處?」進轉身禮拜,師打,云:「也放不過你。」J40nB474_p0027c20進云:「念佛一聲,漱口三日,過犯在什麼處?」師云:「老僧J40nB474_p0027c21事煩,不管這閑事。」進云:「和尚因為什麼不敢承當?」師J40nB474_p0027c22云:「知音者少。」乃云:「撥轉天關,掀翻地軸,箇段風光,阿J40nB474_p0027c23誰不有?只如盤山睹割肉而明心,樓子聞歌聲而悟J40nB474_p0027c24道,秘魔擎叉,普化搖鐸,全提向上機關。所以,人能弘J40nB474_p0027c25道,非道弘人。到這裏,那管山林城市、佛國魔宮,隨緣J40nB474_p0027c26放曠,任運縱橫。雖然如是,須知轉身一路始得。」顧視J40nB474_p0027c27左右,云:「還有識得轉身一路得麼?總然通身是眼,覷J40nB474_p0027c28之不見;渾身是口,說之不及。到這裏,須是箇中人,一J40nB474_p0027c29肩擔荷。即今眾居士特請山僧闡揚佛祖門庭、開鑿J40nB474_p0027c30人天眼目,若非大乘根器,不能如是。今日山僧也不J40nB474_p0028a01敢瞞頇大眾,八字打開,兩手分付。且道分付箇什麼?」J40nB474_p0028a02卓拄杖,云:「頂門若具金剛眼,方解西來祖師禪。」
J40nB474_p0028a03徹凡大亮禪人領眾師德居士請上堂。僧問:「如何是J40nB474_p0028a04南泉斬貓的意旨?」師云:「拋磚引玉。」僧喝,師云:「這一喝J40nB474_p0028a05什麼意旨?」僧云:「海枯石亂處,獨露法王身。」師云:「金雞J40nB474_p0028a06常報曉,時人自不聞。」乃云:「朔風颯颯寒風疾,凍得毒J40nB474_p0028a07蛇成鱉鼻,直教猛虎吞大蟲,參禪衲子齊著力。世尊J40nB474_p0028a08拈花,達磨面壁,迦葉起舞,六祖舂碓,法輪常轉度群J40nB474_p0028a09迷,唯憑這箇真消息。」舉拄杖云:「還會麼?今日嚴寒,皈J40nB474_p0028a10堂少立。」
J40nB474_p0028a11優婆夷高明藏、宣明先領眾請上堂。乃云:「佛身無相,J40nB474_p0028a12大道無言,體自真空,無形無狀。所以道:十方無影像,J40nB474_p0028a13三界絕形蹤,不墮往來機,不住中間意。又作麼生商J40nB474_p0028a14量聻?」良久,云:「若識佛是非身處,有相身中無相身。」復J40nB474_p0028a15舉:「岩頭作渡子,有一婆子懷中抱一孩子,便問岩頭:J40nB474_p0028a16『呈橈舞棹即不問,婆懷中孩兒從甚處來?』頭便打,婆J40nB474_p0028a17曰:『婆生七子,六箇不遇知音,只這一箇也不消得。』便J40nB474_p0028a18拋向水中。且道只婆子俱什麼手段,便與岩頭問答?J40nB474_p0028a19還識得這婆子問答處麼?其或未然,聽取萬善頌出:J40nB474_p0028a20婆子無端問渡頭,平生肝膽向人酬,機絲不挂梭頭J40nB474_p0028a21事,唯有長江天際流。」卓拄杖,下座。
J40nB474_p0028a22優婆夷蕭明本、王明新請上堂。問:「昔日龐居士參石J40nB474_p0028a23頭、皈馬祖、全家悟道,今高居士合家聞法,是一?是二?」J40nB474_p0028a24師云:「阿誰不恁麼?」進云:「恁麼則處處綠楊堪繫馬,家J40nB474_p0028a25家有路透長安。」師云:「向甚麼處措足?」進云:「求和尚指J40nB474_p0028a26示。」師便打。問:「多寶佛塔在什麼處?」師卓拄杖一下,進J40nB474_p0028a27云:「請塔樣學人看。」師豎拄杖,云:「撐天拄地。」進喝,師云:J40nB474_p0028a28「在喝喝看。」進復喝,師云:「一棹便上。」乃云:「諸佛法藏,無J40nB474_p0028a29前、無後,無正、無偏,無男、無女,無聖、無凡,佛與眾生,性J40nB474_p0028a30相平等。雖然如是,須會得佛祖意始得。還有會得佛J40nB474_p0028b01祖意得麼?其或未然,與你傍通一線。」舉拂子,云:「向這J40nB474_p0028b02裏若會得,求福得福,求壽得壽,種瓜得瓜,種豆得豆,J40nB474_p0028b03因果分明,有何滲漏?」復舉:「百丈上堂,常有一老人聽J40nB474_p0028b04法,隨眾散去。一日不去,丈乃問曰:『立者何人?』老人云:J40nB474_p0028b05『某甲於過去迦葉佛時曾住此山,有學人問:「大脩行J40nB474_p0028b06底人還落因果也無?」對他道:「不落因果。」墮野狐身五J40nB474_p0028b07百生。今請和尚代一轉語。』丈云:『不昧因果。』老人於言J40nB474_p0028b08下大悟。」師云:「百丈點鐵成金,野狐有脫身之計。雖然J40nB474_p0028b09如是,未免百丈這一錐麼?有知痛痒者麼?不落因果J40nB474_p0028b10與不昧,翻身跳入金毛隊。」
J40nB474_p0028b11蕭明本請上堂。僧問:「月落後那裏相會?」師便下座,歸J40nB474_p0028b12方丈。
J40nB474_p0028b13比丘廣元領眾居士請上堂。問:「達磨西來傳佛心印,J40nB474_p0028b14梁武帝為什麼不皈依?」師云:「任他白雲朝嶽頂,爭奈J40nB474_p0028b15青山不展眉?」「神光皈依,得何法要?」師云:「知音者少。」乃J40nB474_p0028b16云:「若論佛法二字,無言可說,無理可伸。雖然如是,官J40nB474_p0028b17不容針,私通車馬,也須與大眾別通箇消息。古人見J40nB474_p0028b18色明心,聞聲悟道。」舉拂子云:「這是色,還是明心的麼?」J40nB474_p0028b19以拂子擊案云:「這是聲,還有悟道的麼?見色非干色,J40nB474_p0028b20聞聲不是聲,文殊常觸目,觀音塞耳根,寒山逢拾得,J40nB474_p0028b21拍手笑欣欣,泥牛吼水面,木馬漫嘶風。還會麼?任從J40nB474_p0028b22三尺雪,難壓寸靈松。」復舉:「《楞嚴經》云:『吾不見時,何不J40nB474_p0028b23見吾不見之處?若見不見,自然非彼不見之相;若不J40nB474_p0028b24見吾不見之地,自然非物,云何非汝?』」師云:「衲僧鼻孔J40nB474_p0028b25長,佛祖舌頭短,無耳人能聞,無眼人能見。且道見箇J40nB474_p0028b26什麼?咄!咄!咄。」
J40nB474_p0028b27高明杲、王明新請上堂。僧問:「悉達太子棄皇宮奔雪J40nB474_p0028b28山是什麼意旨?」師云:「離塵脫俗。」進云:「六年苦行悟箇J40nB474_p0028b29什麼?」師云:「果從花裏得,甘向苦中求。」進喝,師打,進云:J40nB474_p0028b30「葉葉連枝秀,花開處處芳。」師云:「不著一番寒徹骨,怎J40nB474_p0028c01得梅花撲鼻香?」乃云:「春深草綠,秋深葉落,風來樹嚮,J40nB474_p0028c02水長船高,山河大地,草木叢林,有情無情,共成一體,J40nB474_p0028c03拈來便用,無可無不可。豈不見有僧問趙州:『如何是J40nB474_p0028c04祖師西來意?』州云:『庭前柏樹子。』僧云:『和尚莫將境示J40nB474_p0028c05人。』州云:『老僧不將境示人。』僧云:『如何是祖師西來意?』J40nB474_p0028c06州云:『庭前柏樹子。』」師云:「趙州老漢指鹿為馬、握土成J40nB474_p0028c07金,難為這僧一生不了。或有人問萬善:『如何是祖師J40nB474_p0028c08西來意?』只向他道:『門前一株松。』且道與趙州是同?是J40nB474_p0028c09別?大眾!定當定當看。其或未然,老僧定當去也。」舉拄J40nB474_p0028c10杖,云:「若人會得家中寶,啼鳥山花一樣紅。」
J40nB474_p0028c11高陞、畢陞、文守福、畢從善領眾請上堂。乃云:「道非物J40nB474_p0028c12外,物外非道,道不遠人,人自遠矣。所以,達磨西來,不J40nB474_p0028c13立文字,直指人心,見性成佛。所謂性者,非青黃赤白J40nB474_p0028c14之色,亦非長短男女等相,雖非耳目之所及,不妨於J40nB474_p0028c15終日現前,人人腳跟點地,箇箇鼻孔遼天。」舉拂子云:J40nB474_p0028c16「還會麼?若道這箇便是,猶是認賊為子;若道這箇不J40nB474_p0028c17是,亦是向外馳求。且道畢竟作麼生得大自在去聻?」J40nB474_p0028c18顧視左右云:「㗭哩㗭哩,蘇嚕蘇嚕。」復舉:「高峰妙禪師J40nB474_p0028c19示眾云:『海底泥牛啣月走,巖前石虎抱兒眠,鐵蛇鑽J40nB474_p0028c20入金剛眼,崑崙騎牛鷺鶿牽。』此四句有一句能殺能J40nB474_p0028c21活、能縱能奪,若檢點得出,參學事畢。會中還有俱眼J40nB474_p0028c22的衲僧麼?出來試道看。其或未然,再聽萬善一頌:卻J40nB474_p0028c23來平地起孤堆,水自深兮雲自飛,夜靜水寒魚不食,J40nB474_p0028c24滿船空載月明歸。」
J40nB474_p0028c25張建勳、比丘尼妙真領眾請上堂。僧問:「《法華經》云:『是J40nB474_p0028c26法住法位,世間相常住。』」師云:「如水合水,似空合空。」僧J40nB474_p0028c27云:「兩手撥開金世界,翻身跳出白雲窟。」師云:「不是龍J40nB474_p0028c28門客,徒來遭點額。」問:「六祖聞箇『應無所住,而生其心』,J40nB474_p0028c29如何是『應無所住』的意旨?」師云:「隨流得妙。」進云:「如何J40nB474_p0028c30『而生其心』?」師云:「土上加泥。」進云:「上無佛道可成,下無J40nB474_p0029a01眾生可度,和尚上堂說些甚麼?」師云:「閒栽無影樹,留J40nB474_p0029a02與後人堪。」進云:「謝和尚指示。」又問:「昔有一比丘借半J40nB474_p0029a03間草庵,臨起身為什麼燒了?」師云:「絕形忘跡。」進云:「來J40nB474_p0029a04時清淨身,去時不染塵。」師云:「幻人看幻境。」曰:「古人聞J40nB474_p0029a05聲悟道、見色明心,今日和尚上堂,鐘鼓齊鳴,一切人J40nB474_p0029a06為什麼不悟道?」師云:「奼女已歸霄漢去,獃郎猶在火J40nB474_p0029a07中棲。」進云:「請師指箇路逕。」師云:「萬善寺大饅頭。」乃拈J40nB474_p0029a08拄杖,云:「說法不如這箇親,棒頭落處見分明,若於當J40nB474_p0029a09下明真理,方識渠儂老婆心。」復舉:「僧問同安:『如何是J40nB474_p0029a10和尚家風?』安云:『金雞抱子歸霄漢,玉兔懷胎向紫薇。』J40nB474_p0029a11僧云:『忽有客來,將何秪待?』安云:『金果早朝猿摘去,玉J40nB474_p0029a12花到晚鳳啣來。』」師云:「同安這兩轉語恁麼道,不妨奇J40nB474_p0029a13特,若是萬善即不然,或有人問:『如何是和尚家風?』只J40nB474_p0029a14向他道:『硬的是拳,軟的是棒。』『忽有客來,將何秪待?』『齋J40nB474_p0029a15前一鍾水,飯後一杯茶。』且道與同安相差多遠?大眾J40nB474_p0029a16檢點檢點看。如或未然,老僧據款結案去也。」便下座。
J40nB474_p0029a17劉繼漢請上堂。僧問:「釋迦拈花即不問,達磨面壁事J40nB474_p0029a18如何?」師云:「問處難瞞作者知,風流何用多著衣?」進云:J40nB474_p0029a19「『一切有為法,如夢幻泡影。』如何是真實法?」師便打,進J40nB474_p0029a20云:「四相元無我,人空法亦空。」師云:「虛空本無相,唯有J40nB474_p0029a21月長明。」問:「梁武帝請傅大師講經陞座、大師以尺揮J40nB474_p0029a22案一下便下座,是什麼意旨?」師云:「到者方知就裏事。」J40nB474_p0029a23進云:「木馬踏翻海底月,泥牛觸破水中天。」師云:「不是J40nB474_p0029a24知音莫亂頻。」乃舉拂子,云:「還見麼?」以拂子擊案,云:「還J40nB474_p0029a25聞麼?眼見是色,耳聞是聲,纖毫不昧,歷歷分明,四大J40nB474_p0029a26分張,那箇是心聻?向這裏若會得去,動轉施為,隨處J40nB474_p0029a27自在,有時虛空背上經行,有時無影林中打坐,有時J40nB474_p0029a28或默或言,有時或嗔或樂,道我是聖是凡,敢保未曾J40nB474_p0029a29說著;道我是僧是俗,卻又分成兩箇。」卓拄杖,云:「這是J40nB474_p0029a30聖是凡?是僧是俗?」良久,云:「只從會得空王意,拍拍元J40nB474_p0029b01來總是歌。」
J40nB474_p0029b02歲次丙辰正月元旦日,有眾僧明杲、明新、明玄請上J40nB474_p0029b03堂。僧問:「年終歲首之辰,萬物更新之始,如何是更新J40nB474_p0029b04的意旨?」師云:「梅蕊報君知。」僧云:「恁麼則陽回春色曉,J40nB474_p0029b05遍地草青青。」師云:「意氣不從天地得,英雄豈藉四時J40nB474_p0029b06催?」僧云:「陌頭綠柳垂金線,院裏桃花枝上榮。」師云:「時J40nB474_p0029b07節不饒人。」僧問:「如何是萬善更新的境?」師云:「前松後J40nB474_p0029b08柏依舊青。」僧云:「如何是境中人?」師便打,進云:「家家有J40nB474_p0029b09道家家慶,處處陽回處處春。」師云:「石壓筍邪出,懸崖J40nB474_p0029b10花倒生。」乃云:「昨日是雪今朝風,吹綻梅花拽轉春,更J40nB474_p0029b11有竹聲傳腊盡,門前楊柳曉鶯吟,森羅萬象齊稽首,J40nB474_p0029b12慶賀當來彌勒尊。」以拄杖指空中:「看看,南海觀音菩J40nB474_p0029b13薩來也。」大眾齊視,乃喝一喝,云:「無位真人乾屎橛,令J40nB474_p0029b14人嚼著硬如鐵,村歌社舞樂豐年,衲僧百般無一些,J40nB474_p0029b15露地白牛帶角烹,犒賞禪流過正節,等閒無事不拈J40nB474_p0029b16出,今日為君輕漏泄。咦!珊瑚枝枝撐著月。」
J40nB474_p0029b17龍華會,請上堂。問:「四眾人等都來求戒,請問和尚:如J40nB474_p0029b18何是戒?」師云:「著衣持缽。」進云:「眾善奉行,如何是定?」師J40nB474_p0029b19云:「息心泯妄。」進云:「一念不生,如何是慧?」師云:「明心見J40nB474_p0029b20性。」進云:「心花發朗,謝和尚指示。」乃云:「若論道場,鶯啼J40nB474_p0029b21燕語、水流風動,無不是道場。十方佛子同來聚會,由J40nB474_p0029b22如百川同會於海者,沙門體心脩道之地也。學道貴J40nB474_p0029b23於出家,為僧重於進戒。初剃度即受沙彌十戒,如儒J40nB474_p0029b24童先習小學,令知孝親、敬長、謹信、汎愛、親仁,為大學J40nB474_p0029b25之基本,自小入大也。既然持戒,必須息心泯妄,參尋J40nB474_p0029b26宗旨,信受則為出世之津梁,開悟則入佛之知見,開J40nB474_p0029b27前疑而決後滯,披迷雲而睹慧日,然後方知色空無J40nB474_p0029b28異,同歸實際之理。欲識般若體,須觀自己身;欲識般J40nB474_p0029b29若用,須觀拄杖子。到這裏,勿論僧俗男女,共入龍華J40nB474_p0029b30三會,秉教於釋迦,種福於當來,脫離苦海,齊登覺岸。J40nB474_p0029c01且道:誰是到岸者聻?」喝一喝,云:「清風明月尋皈路,夫J40nB474_p0029c02子門前問孔丘。」卓拄杖,下座。
J40nB474_p0029c03西方庵僧俗眾等恭請結制,上堂。師云:「不行諸佛令,J40nB474_p0029c04單提向上機。會中有出格衲子,出來與拄杖子相見。」J40nB474_p0029c05僧問:「一切眾生俱有佛性,如何保任?」師云:「擲寶混沙J40nB474_p0029c06中,識者天然異。」僧喝,師云:「這一喝落在甚麼處?」僧復J40nB474_p0029c07喝,師云:「少弄虛頭。」曰:「如何是空劫亦前事?」師卓拄杖J40nB474_p0029c08一下,曰:「如何是空劫亦後底事?」師復卓拄杖一下,曰:J40nB474_p0029c09「如何是現在事?」師又卓拄杖一下,僧云:「謝師指示。」師J40nB474_p0029c10云:「如何是你腳跟下事?」僧喝,師云:「再喝看。」僧復喝,師J40nB474_p0029c11云:「一棹便上。」乃云:「道則雖不行,佛法亦難滅。千聖總J40nB474_p0029c12不傳,預先早漏泄。啼鳥報知音,松風搖般若。處處皆J40nB474_p0029c13是真,時人爭不解?昔,世尊在靈山會上對人天眾前J40nB474_p0029c14云:『吾正法眼藏、涅槃妙心,付囑摩訶迦葉,廣傳流布,J40nB474_p0029c15教化眾生。』且道釋迦老子當時傳的什麼法聻?」舉拂J40nB474_p0029c16子,云:「欲識本來真面目,佛法元不紙上尋。」卓拄杖,下J40nB474_p0029c17座。
J40nB474_p0029c18比丘廣元、李士龍、王繼華請上堂。乃云:「老僧一向懶J40nB474_p0029c19參禪,飢來喫飯困來眠,行住坐臥平常事,無底缽盂J40nB474_p0029c20口朝天,拄杖頭上挑日月,腳下芒鞋徹底穿,晝看峰J40nB474_p0029c21前雲片片,夜聽澗下水潺潺,不用除緣息妄想,大家J40nB474_p0029c22這裏好安閒,有人若問脩行事,耍笑謳歌是道場。雖J40nB474_p0029c23然如是,夢中或有人索飯錢,作麼生好?與他三十棒。」
J40nB474_p0029c24吳門董氏為薦夫,請小參。舉拂子云:「向這裏會得,無J40nB474_p0029c25去無來,無生無死。」放下拂子云:「大道不離目前,目前J40nB474_p0029c26不離大道,要且難睹。欲識大道真體,不離聲色之所J40nB474_p0029c27求。既不離聲色之所求,只如今日吳門董氏所薦夫J40nB474_p0029c28主吳秉政向什麼處安身立命?」良久云:「天共白雲曉,J40nB474_p0029c29水合明月流。」
J40nB474_p0029c30對靈,小參。問:「四大分張向什麼處去?」師云:「天然無相J40nB474_p0030a01子,不挂出塵衣。」僧云:「兩手撥開生死路,翻身直入白J40nB474_p0030a02雲鄉。」師云:「一物不生全體現,目前光彩阿誰知?」乃云:J40nB474_p0030a03「佛性場中,纖毫不動,心隨境轉,境隨心生,離色離相,J40nB474_p0030a04塵盡光生,忘形忘跡,體露真空,到這裏,有什麼生死J40nB474_p0030a05去來、遷流之變?豈不聞釋迦老子云:『諸行無常,是生J40nB474_p0030a06滅法,生滅滅已,寂滅為樂。』汝等諸人還識得這寂滅J40nB474_p0030a07為樂的消息麼?若識得寂滅為樂的消息,無來無去,J40nB474_p0030a08無生無死,無是無非,無彼無此,乃至四聖六凡及一J40nB474_p0030a09切有情無情無不寂滅。既然如是,只如今日所薦亡J40nB474_p0030a10靈高門舒氏向什麼處去聻?」良久,云:「月落潭無影,雲J40nB474_p0030a11生山有衣。」
J40nB474_p0030a12解制,山主請上堂。僧問:「西來大意即不問,燈月交輝J40nB474_p0030a13時如何?」師云:「錦上更添花。」進云:「有意氣時添氣意,不J40nB474_p0030a14風流處也風流。」師云:「鶯逢春暖歌聲滑,林上煙濃花J40nB474_p0030a15正紅。」問:「昔越州禪師開堂,一期圓滿陞座,大眾纔集,J40nB474_p0030a16師指大眾云:『若到諸方,莫得錯舉。』便下座。是什麼意J40nB474_p0030a17旨?」師云:「不透龜毛徑,焉知狹路長?」進云:「學人自有沖J40nB474_p0030a18天志,不向古人行處行。」師云:「你向什麼處下腳?」僧喝,J40nB474_p0030a19師打,乃云:「十方無壁落,四面亦無門,來是恁麼來,去J40nB474_p0030a20是恁麼去。來去分明,出入便宜,獨步三界,得大自在。J40nB474_p0030a21去來去且止,慣戰不如能收。且道收兵罷戰一句作J40nB474_p0030a22麼生道?雕弓已挂狼煙息,萬里歌謠賀太平。」拽拄杖,J40nB474_p0030a23下座。
