康熙二年十月十五日高良富王政民等恭請住灤J40nB474_p0027c04州萬善寺結制上堂至法堂拈疏云:「諸佛慧命祖師J40nB474_p0027c05根源盡在裏許大眾還見麼其或未然卻請維那宣J40nB474_p0027c06。」宣疏畢指法座云:「佛祖玄關橫身直過寶華王座J40nB474_p0027c07許什麼人登?」喝一喝便陞拈香云:「此一瓣香根盤劫J40nB474_p0027c08葉覆娑婆信手拈來爇向爐中祝延J40nB474_p0027c09今上皇帝萬歲萬歲萬萬歲!」

又拈香:「此一瓣香奉為滿朝文武闔國公卿本州J40nB474_p0027c11眾鄉紳居士等伏願永作法門之柱石同證無生之J40nB474_p0027c12正果。」又拈:「此瓣香諸佛難測神鬼不知卻被盤山J40nB474_p0027c13覷破第三回拈出爇向爐中專為供養現住盤山古J40nB474_p0027c14中盤堂上大博本師和尚用酬法乳之恩。」衣就座J40nB474_p0027c15維那白槌畢師云:「垂鉤四海釣獰龍格外玄機訪知J40nB474_p0027c16會中若有仙佗客大家共撫無絃琴還有知音者J40nB474_p0027c17出眾相見。」僧問:「今日和尚將拄杖子作用百年之J40nB474_p0027c18後將什麼作用?」師云:「樹凋葉落滿天秋。」進喝師云:「J40nB474_p0027c19一喝落在甚麼處?」進轉身禮拜師打:「也放不過你。」J40nB474_p0027c20進云:「念佛一聲漱口三日過犯在什麼處?」師云:「老僧J40nB474_p0027c21事煩不管這閑事。」進云:「和尚因為什麼不敢承當?」J40nB474_p0027c22:「知音者少。」乃云:「撥轉天關掀翻地軸箇段風光J40nB474_p0027c23誰不有只如盤山睹割肉而明心樓子聞歌聲而悟J40nB474_p0027c24秘魔擎普化搖鐸全提向上機關所以人能弘J40nB474_p0027c25非道弘人到這裏那管山林城市佛國魔宮隨緣J40nB474_p0027c26放曠任運縱橫雖然如是須知轉身一路始得。」顧視J40nB474_p0027c27左右:「還有識得轉身一路得麼總然通身是眼J40nB474_p0027c28之不見渾身是口說之不及到這裏須是箇中人J40nB474_p0027c29肩擔荷即今眾居士特請山僧闡揚佛祖門庭開鑿J40nB474_p0027c30人天眼目若非大乘根器不能如是今日山僧也不J40nB474_p0028a01敢瞞頇大眾八字打開兩手分付且道分付箇什麼?」J40nB474_p0028a02卓拄杖:「頂門若具金剛眼方解西來祖師禪。」

徹凡大亮禪人領眾師德居士請上堂僧問:「如何是J40nB474_p0028a04南泉斬貓的意旨?」師云:「拋磚引玉。」僧喝師云:「這一喝J40nB474_p0028a05什麼意旨?」僧云:「海枯石亂處獨露法王身。」師云:「金雞J40nB474_p0028a06常報曉時人自不聞。」乃云:「朔風颯颯寒風疾凍得毒J40nB474_p0028a07蛇成鱉鼻直教猛虎吞大蟲參禪衲子齊著力世尊J40nB474_p0028a08拈花達磨面壁迦葉起舞六祖舂碓法輪常轉度群J40nB474_p0028a09唯憑這箇真消息。」舉拄杖云:「還會麼今日嚴寒J40nB474_p0028a10堂少立。」

優婆夷高明藏宣明先領眾請上堂乃云:「佛身無相J40nB474_p0028a12大道無言體自真空無形無狀所以道十方無影像J40nB474_p0028a13三界絕形蹤不墮往來機不住中間意又作麼生商J40nB474_p0028a14量聻?」良久:「若識佛是非身處有相身中無相身。」J40nB474_p0028a15:「岩頭作渡子有一婆子懷中抱一孩子便問岩頭J40nB474_p0028a16呈橈舞棹即不問婆懷中孩兒從甚處來?』頭便打J40nB474_p0028a17:『婆生七子六箇不遇知音只這一箇也不消得。』便J40nB474_p0028a18拋向水中且道只婆子俱什麼手段便與岩頭問答J40nB474_p0028a19還識得這婆子問答處麼其或未然聽取萬善頌出J40nB474_p0028a20婆子無端問渡頭平生肝膽向人酬機絲不挂梭頭J40nB474_p0028a21唯有長江天際流。」卓拄杖下座

優婆夷蕭明本王明新請上堂:「昔日龐居士參石J40nB474_p0028a23皈馬祖全家悟道今高居士合家聞法是一是二?」J40nB474_p0028a24師云:「阿誰不恁麼?」進云:「恁麼則處處綠楊堪繫馬J40nB474_p0028a25家有路透長安。」師云:「向甚麼處措足?」進云:「求和尚指J40nB474_p0028a26。」師便打:「多寶佛塔在什麼處?」師卓拄杖一下J40nB474_p0028a27:「請塔樣學人看。」師豎拄杖:「撐天拄地。」進喝師云J40nB474_p0028a28在喝喝看。」進復喝師云:「一棹便上。」乃云:「諸佛法藏J40nB474_p0028a29無後無正無偏無男無女無聖無凡佛與眾生J40nB474_p0028a30相平等雖然如是須會得佛祖意始得還有會得佛J40nB474_p0028b01祖意得麼其或未然與你傍通一線。」舉拂子:「向這J40nB474_p0028b02裏若會得求福得福求壽得壽種瓜得瓜種豆得豆J40nB474_p0028b03因果分明有何滲漏?」復舉:「百丈上堂常有一老人聽J40nB474_p0028b04隨眾散去一日不去丈乃問曰:『立者何人?』老人云J40nB474_p0028b05某甲於過去迦葉佛時曾住此山有學人問:「大脩行J40nB474_p0028b06底人還落因果也無?」對他道:「不落因果。」墮野狐身五J40nB474_p0028b07百生今請和尚代一轉語。』丈云:『不昧因果。』老人於言J40nB474_p0028b08下大悟。」師云:「百丈點鐵成金野狐有脫身之計雖然J40nB474_p0028b09如是未免百丈這一錐麼有知痛痒者麼不落因果J40nB474_p0028b10與不昧翻身跳入金毛隊。」

比丘廣元領眾居士請上堂:「達磨西來傳佛心印J40nB474_p0028b14梁武帝為什麼不皈依?」師云:「任他白雲朝嶽頂爭奈J40nB474_p0028b15青山不展眉?」「神光皈依得何法要?」師云:「知音者少。」J40nB474_p0028b16:「若論佛法二字無言可說無理可伸雖然如是J40nB474_p0028b17不容針私通車馬也須與大眾別通箇消息古人見J40nB474_p0028b18色明心聞聲悟道。」舉拂子云:「這是色還是明心的麼?」J40nB474_p0028b19以拂子擊案云:「這是聲還有悟道的麼見色非干色J40nB474_p0028b20聞聲不是聲文殊常觸目觀音塞耳根寒山逢拾得J40nB474_p0028b21拍手笑欣欣泥牛吼水面木馬漫嘶風還會麼任從J40nB474_p0028b22三尺雪難壓寸靈松。」復舉:「《楞嚴經:『吾不見時何不J40nB474_p0028b23見吾不見之處若見不見自然非彼不見之相若不J40nB474_p0028b24見吾不見之地自然非物云何非汝?』」師云:「衲僧鼻孔J40nB474_p0028b25佛祖舌頭短無耳人能聞無眼人能見且道見箇J40nB474_p0028b26什麼。」

高明杲王明新請上堂僧問:「悉達太子棄皇宮奔雪J40nB474_p0028b28山是什麼意旨?」師云:「離塵脫俗。」進云:「六年苦行悟箇J40nB474_p0028b29什麼?」師云:「果從花裏得甘向苦中求。」進喝師打進云J40nB474_p0028b30葉葉連枝秀花開處處芳。」師云:「不著一番寒徹骨J40nB474_p0028c01得梅花撲鼻香?」乃云:「春深草綠秋深葉落風來樹嚮J40nB474_p0028c02水長船高山河大地草木叢林有情無情共成一體J40nB474_p0028c03拈來便用無可無不可豈不見有僧問趙州:『如何是J40nB474_p0028c04祖師西來意?』州云:『庭前柏樹子。』僧云:『和尚莫將境示J40nB474_p0028c05。』州云:『老僧不將境示人。』僧云:『如何是祖師西來意?』J40nB474_p0028c06州云:『庭前柏樹子。』」師云:「趙州老漢指鹿為馬握土成J40nB474_p0028c07難為這僧一生不了或有人問萬善:『如何是祖師J40nB474_p0028c08西來意?』只向他道:『門前一株松。』且道與趙州是同J40nB474_p0028c09大眾定當定當看其或未然老僧定當去也。」舉拄J40nB474_p0028c10:「若人會得家中寶啼鳥山花一樣紅。」

高陞畢陞文守福畢從善領眾請上堂乃云:「道非物J40nB474_p0028c12物外非道道不遠人人自遠矣所以達磨西來J40nB474_p0028c13立文字直指人心見性成佛所謂性者非青黃赤白J40nB474_p0028c14之色亦非長短男女等相雖非耳目之所及不妨於J40nB474_p0028c15終日現前人人腳跟點地箇箇鼻孔遼天。」舉拂子云J40nB474_p0028c16還會麼若道這箇便是猶是認賊為子若道這箇不J40nB474_p0028c17亦是向外馳求且道畢竟作麼生得大自在去聻?」J40nB474_p0028c18顧視左右云:「㗭哩㗭哩蘇嚕蘇嚕。」復舉:「高峰妙禪師J40nB474_p0028c19示眾云:『海底泥牛啣月走巖前石虎抱兒眠鐵蛇鑽J40nB474_p0028c20入金剛眼崑崙騎牛鷺鶿牽。』此四句有一句能殺能J40nB474_p0028c21能縱能奪若檢點得出參學事畢會中還有俱眼J40nB474_p0028c22的衲僧麼出來試道看其或未然再聽萬善一頌J40nB474_p0028c23來平地起孤堆水自深兮雲自飛夜靜水寒魚不食J40nB474_p0028c24滿船空載月明歸。」

張建勳比丘尼妙真領眾請上堂僧問:「《法華經:『J40nB474_p0028c26法住法位世間相常住。』」師云:「如水合水似空合空。」J40nB474_p0028c27:「兩手撥開金世界翻身跳出白雲窟。」師云:「不是龍J40nB474_p0028c28門客徒來遭點額。」:「六祖聞箇應無所住而生其心』,J40nB474_p0028c29如何是應無所住的意旨?」師云:「隨流得妙。」進云:「如何J40nB474_p0028c30而生其心』?」師云:「土上加泥。」進云:「上無佛道可成下無J40nB474_p0029a01眾生可度和尚上堂說些甚麼?」師云:「閒栽無影樹J40nB474_p0029a02與後人堪。」進云:「謝和尚指示。」又問:「昔有一比丘借半J40nB474_p0029a03間草庵臨起身為什麼燒了?」師云:「絕形忘跡。」進云:「J40nB474_p0029a04時清淨身去時不染塵。」師云:「幻人看幻境。」:「古人聞J40nB474_p0029a05聲悟道見色明心今日和尚上堂鐘鼓齊鳴一切人J40nB474_p0029a06為什麼不悟道?」師云:「奼女歸霄漢去獃郎猶在火J40nB474_p0029a07中棲。」進云:「請師指箇路逕。」師云:「萬善寺大饅頭。」乃拈J40nB474_p0029a08拄杖:「說法不如這箇親棒頭落處見分明若於當J40nB474_p0029a09下明真理方識渠儂老婆心。」復舉:「僧問同安:『如何是J40nB474_p0029a10和尚家風?』安云:『金雞抱子歸霄漢玉兔懷胎向紫薇。』J40nB474_p0029a11僧云:『忽有客來將何秪待?』安云:『金果早朝猿摘去J40nB474_p0029a12花到晚鳳啣來。』」師云:「同安這兩轉語恁麼道不妨奇J40nB474_p0029a13若是萬善即不然或有人問:『如何是和尚家風?』J40nB474_p0029a14向他道:『硬的是拳軟的是棒。』『忽有客來將何秪待?』『J40nB474_p0029a15前一鍾水飯後一杯茶。』且道與同安相差多遠大眾J40nB474_p0029a16檢點檢點看如或未然老僧據款結案去也。」便下座

劉繼漢請上堂僧問:「釋迦拈花即不問達磨面壁事J40nB474_p0029a18如何?」師云:「問處難瞞作者知風流何用多著衣?」進云J40nB474_p0029a19「『一切有為法如夢幻泡影。』如何是真實法?」師便打J40nB474_p0029a20:「四相元無我人空法亦空。」師云:「虛空本無相唯有J40nB474_p0029a21月長明。」:「梁武帝請傅大師講經陞座大師以尺揮J40nB474_p0029a22案一下便下座是什麼意旨?」師云:「到者方知就裏事。」J40nB474_p0029a23進云:「木馬踏翻海底月泥牛觸破水中天。」師云:「不是J40nB474_p0029a24知音莫亂頻。」乃舉拂子:「還見麼?」以拂子擊案:「J40nB474_p0029a25聞麼眼見是色耳聞是聲纖毫不昧歷歷分明四大J40nB474_p0029a26分張那箇是心聻向這裏若會得去動轉施為隨處J40nB474_p0029a27自在有時虛空背上經行有時無影林中打坐有時J40nB474_p0029a28或默或言有時或嗔或樂道我是聖是凡敢保未曾J40nB474_p0029a29說著道我是僧是俗卻又分成兩箇。」卓拄杖:「這是J40nB474_p0029a30聖是凡是僧是俗?」良久:「只從會得空王意拍拍元J40nB474_p0029b01來總是歌。」

歲次丙辰正月元旦日有眾僧明杲明新明玄請上J40nB474_p0029b03僧問:「年終歲首之辰萬物更新之始如何是更新J40nB474_p0029b04的意旨?」師云:「梅蕊報君知。」僧云:「恁麼則陽回春色曉J40nB474_p0029b05遍地草青青。」師云:「意氣不從天地得英雄豈藉四時J40nB474_p0029b06?」僧云:「陌頭綠柳垂金線院裏桃花枝上榮。」師云:「J40nB474_p0029b07節不饒人。」僧問:「如何是萬善更新的境?」師云:「前松後J40nB474_p0029b08柏依舊青。」僧云:「如何是境中人?」師便打進云:「家家有J40nB474_p0029b09道家家慶處處陽回處處春。」師云:「石壓筍邪出懸崖J40nB474_p0029b10花倒生。」乃云:「昨日是雪今朝風吹綻梅花拽轉春J40nB474_p0029b11有竹聲傳腊盡門前楊柳曉鶯吟森羅萬象齊稽首J40nB474_p0029b12慶賀當來彌勒尊。」以拄杖指空中:「看看南海觀音菩J40nB474_p0029b13薩來也。」大眾齊視乃喝一喝:「無位真人乾屎橛J40nB474_p0029b14人嚼著硬如鐵村歌社舞樂豐年衲僧百般無一些J40nB474_p0029b15露地白牛帶角烹犒賞禪流過正節等閒無事不拈J40nB474_p0029b16今日為君輕漏泄珊瑚枝枝撐著月。」

龍華會請上堂:「四眾人等都來求戒請問和尚J40nB474_p0029b18何是戒?」師云:「著衣持缽。」進云:「眾善奉行如何是定?」J40nB474_p0029b19:「息心泯妄。」進云:「一念不生如何是慧?」師云:「明心見J40nB474_p0029b20。」進云:「心花發朗謝和尚指示。」乃云:「若論道場鶯啼J40nB474_p0029b21燕語水流風動無不是道場十方佛子同來聚會J40nB474_p0029b22如百川同會於海者沙門體心脩道之地也學道貴J40nB474_p0029b23於出家為僧重於進戒初剃度即受沙彌十戒如儒J40nB474_p0029b24童先習小學令知孝親敬長謹信汎愛親仁為大學J40nB474_p0029b25之基本自小入大也既然持戒必須息心泯妄參尋J40nB474_p0029b26宗旨信受則為出世之津梁開悟則入佛之知見J40nB474_p0029b27前疑而決後滯披迷雲而睹慧日然後方知色空無J40nB474_p0029b28同歸實際之理欲識般若體須觀自欲識般J40nB474_p0029b29若用須觀拄杖子到這裏勿論僧俗男女共入龍華J40nB474_p0029b30三會秉教於釋迦種福於當來脫離苦海齊登覺岸J40nB474_p0029c01且道誰是到岸者聻?」喝一喝:「清風明月尋皈路J40nB474_p0029c02子門前問孔丘。」卓拄杖下座

西方庵僧俗眾等恭請結制上堂師云:「不行諸佛令J40nB474_p0029c04單提向上機會中有出格衲子出來與拄杖子相見。」J40nB474_p0029c05僧問:「一切眾生俱有佛性如何保任?」師云:「擲寶混沙J40nB474_p0029c06識者天然異。」僧喝師云:「這一喝落在甚麼處?」僧復J40nB474_p0029c07師云:「少弄虛頭。」:「如何是空劫亦前事?」師卓拄杖J40nB474_p0029c08一下:「如何是空劫亦後底事?」師復卓拄杖一下J40nB474_p0029c09如何是現在事?」師又卓拄杖一下僧云:「謝師指示。」J40nB474_p0029c10:「如何是你腳跟下事?」僧喝師云:「再喝看。」僧復喝J40nB474_p0029c11:「一棹便上。」乃云:「道則雖不行佛法亦難滅千聖總J40nB474_p0029c12不傳預先早漏泄啼鳥報知音松風搖般若處處皆J40nB474_p0029c13是真時人爭不解世尊在靈山會上對人天眾前J40nB474_p0029c14:『吾正法眼藏涅槃妙心付囑摩訶迦葉廣傳流布J40nB474_p0029c15教化眾生。』且道釋迦老子當時傳的什麼法聻?」舉拂J40nB474_p0029c16:「欲識本來真面目佛法元不紙上尋。」卓拄杖J40nB474_p0029c17

比丘廣元李士龍王繼華請上堂乃云:「老僧一向懶J40nB474_p0029c19參禪飢來喫飯困來眠行住坐臥平常事無底缽盂J40nB474_p0029c20口朝天拄杖頭上挑日月腳下芒鞋徹底穿晝看峰J40nB474_p0029c21前雲片片夜聽澗下水潺潺不用除緣息妄想大家J40nB474_p0029c22這裏好安閒有人若問脩行事耍笑謳歌是道場J40nB474_p0029c23然如是夢中或有人索飯錢作麼生好與他三十棒。」

吳門董氏為薦夫請小參舉拂子云:「向這裏會得J40nB474_p0029c25去無來無生無死。」放下拂子云:「大道不離目前目前J40nB474_p0029c26不離大道要且難睹欲識大道真體不離聲色之所J40nB474_p0029c27既不離聲色之所求只如今日吳門董氏所薦夫J40nB474_p0029c28主吳秉政向什麼處安身立命?」良久云:「天共白雲曉J40nB474_p0029c29水合明月流。」

對靈小參:「四大分張向什麼處去?」師云:「天然無相J40nB474_p0030a01不挂出塵衣。」僧云:「兩手撥開生死路翻身直入白J40nB474_p0030a02雲鄉。」師云:「一物不生全體現目前光彩阿誰知?」乃云J40nB474_p0030a03佛性場中纖毫不動心隨境轉境隨心生離色離相J40nB474_p0030a04塵盡光生忘形忘跡體露真空到這裏有什麼生死J40nB474_p0030a05去來遷流之變豈不聞釋迦老子云:『諸行無常是生J40nB474_p0030a06滅法生滅滅寂滅為樂。』汝等諸人還識得這寂滅J40nB474_p0030a07為樂的消息麼若識得寂滅為樂的消息無來無去J40nB474_p0030a08無生無死無是無非無彼無此乃至四聖六凡及一J40nB474_p0030a09切有情無情無不寂滅既然如是只如今日所薦亡J40nB474_p0030a10靈高門舒氏向什麼處去聻?」良久:「月落潭無影J40nB474_p0030a11生山有衣。」

解制山主請上堂僧問:「西來大意即不問燈月交輝J40nB474_p0030a13時如何?」師云:「錦上更添花。」進云:「有意氣時添氣意J40nB474_p0030a14風流處也風流。」師云:「鶯逢春暖歌聲滑林上煙濃花J40nB474_p0030a15正紅。」:「昔越州禪師開堂一期圓滿陞座大眾纔集J40nB474_p0030a16師指大眾云:『若到諸方莫得錯舉。』便下座是什麼意J40nB474_p0030a17?」師云:「不透龜毛徑焉知狹路長?」進云:「學人自有沖J40nB474_p0030a18天志不向古人行處行。」師云:「你向什麼處下腳?」僧喝J40nB474_p0030a19師打乃云:「十方無壁落四面亦無門來是恁麼來J40nB474_p0030a20是恁麼去來去分明出入便宜獨步三界得大自在J40nB474_p0030a21去來去且止慣戰不如能收且道收兵罷戰一句作J40nB474_p0030a22麼生道雕弓挂狼煙息萬里歌謠賀太平。」拽拄杖J40nB474_p0030a23下座
