序
J39nB468_p0901a02一日,靜坐書齋,讀無名公傳。齋之東J39nB468_p0901a03角有梅花開放,俄而寒風陣陣,一段J39nB468_p0901a04奇香噴鼻而過,始嘆冰肌玉骨另一J39nB468_p0901a05乾坤,不與萬卉同芳。正欲呼童烹茗,J39nB468_p0901a06假詩相酬,時有禪者二人,持善一禪J39nB468_p0901a07師語錄一帖,索予為序。禪師乃吾鄉J39nB468_p0901a08人,與吾為方外交。自幼英特,出塵于J39nB468_p0901a09法海寺,禮靈光老宿披剃,嗣法松巋J39nB468_p0901a10善權和尚。久親權座,深入權室,真誠J39nB468_p0901a11參究,手眼圓明。然後遍歷湖湘、三吳、J39nB468_p0901a12兩浙,看驗諸方,道無異源。浩志歸來,J39nB468_p0901a13開法天龍,次遷松巋,復住天龍。有語J39nB468_p0901a14錄三卷,閱其拈頌機緣,宛有古人之J39nB468_p0901a15風。其上堂、小參、示眾,皆演最上一乘J39nB468_p0901a16事,無疊床架屋之弊,而且有璧合珠J39nB468_p0901a17聯之美也。簡而文,約而理,卻與拈花J39nB468_p0901a18微笑、教外別傳之旨共相發明。雖在J39nB468_p0901b01棒喝門庭中,不事搖唇鼓舌落其圈J39nB468_p0901b02套,如雲門餅、趙州茶,外面觀之,尋常J39nB468_p0901b03知音嘗著汗下。即公諸海內,有識者J39nB468_p0901b04自然鑒賞矣,又何殊乎梅萼之清奇J39nB468_p0901b05也哉?禪師可謂不負出塵,遍參海內J39nB468_p0901b06數十年之苦心,一息無容稍懈,方能J39nB468_p0901b07說此無法之法,以為濟世之津梁也。J39nB468_p0901b08是為序。

序
J39nB468_p0901c02佛法,非細事也;會佛法而能弘佛法,尤非J39nB468_p0901c03細事也。既會已弘已,而能居人所不居之J39nB468_p0901c04邦、弘人所難弘之法,斯人也,吾嘗想見之,J39nB468_p0901c05而未始一見也。癸未夏,善一純公不遠五J39nB468_p0901c06千里自貴筑來,以語錄稿相質於予。予覽J39nB468_p0901c07之終卷,不覺矍然曰:「黔地向聞無佛法也,J39nB468_p0901c08今若是,疇謂黔無佛法乎?」純公,黔人也。自J39nB468_p0901c09居學地,便負逸群志,矢兼濟願。已而遍參J39nB468_p0901c10吳、越、楚、蜀,凡諸名望宗匠,莫不親披運斤J39nB468_p0901c11之風。仍反黔中,習安道俗,遂翕然相推戴,J39nB468_p0901c12不減西河之於昭叟也。初出世,住普陽之J39nB468_p0901c13天龍,次遷松巋,惟務以本分鉗錘激勵來J39nB468_p0901c14學。其接人也,機徑截而不涉廉纖;其說法J39nB468_p0901c15也,語渾璞而不事雕琢。故能感貴筑三十J39nB468_p0901c16餘城,靡不響道皈信。所謂居人所不居之J39nB468_p0901c17邦、弘人所難弘之法,今於純公見之矣。純J39nB468_p0901c18得法於善權位,位嗣月幢了,了嗣丈雪醉,J39nB468_p0902a01醉嗣破山明,明嗣天童悟。其源清流潔,根J39nB468_p0902a02大叢茂,夫復何言?《易》曰:「大車載,有攸往。」此J39nB468_p0902a03予所以深有望乎純公者,故為之敘。

J39nB468_p0902b04山門。「萬仞壁立,慎終如始。八字打開,不勞彈指。」
J39nB468_p0902b05佛殿。「雲門要打,丹霞便燒,趙州絕聞。看他從上古錐,J39nB468_p0902b06雖是剿絕為人,爭奈翻成愛憎。純上座則不然,若欲J39nB468_p0902b07建化門庭,何妨互相恭敬。」展具便拜。
J39nB468_p0902b08伽藍堂。「我無你不立,你無我不成。大家出隻手,扶起J39nB468_p0902b09破沙盆。」
J39nB468_p0902b10據室。「斬釘截鐵,盤根錯節。直逼生蛇化龍,不教證龜J39nB468_p0902b11成鱉。」
J39nB468_p0902b12上堂。拈帖云:「者箇便是天龍大眾、九溪檀越向不思J39nB468_p0902b13議海中流出底一段真風,將來流遍天下,於中恐有J39nB468_p0902b14未見未聞者,煩維那宣過。」指法座云:「三世諸佛在此J39nB468_p0902b15牽枝引蔓,歷代祖師在此揚沙撒土,新長老到來擬J39nB468_p0902b16合徹底掀翻,不留朕跡,免使瞎驢趁隊,怎奈值便時J39nB468_p0902b17宜,只得將錯就錯。」遂陞。拈香云:「此瓣香耑為祝延J39nB468_p0902b18聖壽萬歲萬歲萬萬歲。此瓣香奉為諸王殿下、臣統J39nB468_p0902b19千秋并本省文武尊官,高增祿位。此瓣香自松巋花J39nB468_p0902b20擘之後,復經百城煙水,遍歷諸方,受盡屈辱、喫盡艱J39nB468_p0902b21辛,今日歸來深棲密遁,詎意法叔古源和尚不容推J39nB468_p0902b22脫,平將天龍半座勉逼,人天眾前無可回避,此是第J39nB468_p0902b23一回拈出爇向爐中,耑申供養松巋堂上傳臨濟正J39nB468_p0902b24宗三十四世上善下權先師老和尚,用酬法乳之恩。」J39nB468_p0902b25斂衣敷座。維那白椎竟,乃云:「若論觀第一義諦,早是J39nB468_p0902b26虛空裏掘洞,好肉上剜瘡,欺謾赤子,誑惑閭閻,自古J39nB468_p0902b27自今名不得、然不得。且道一是甚麼?觀是何物?所以J39nB468_p0902b28純上座終不為人眼裏添釘,直得風行草偃、水到渠J39nB468_p0902b29成,把斷要津,不通凡聖,千差坐斷,有無不立,直下令J39nB468_p0902b30人人頭頂青天、個個腳踏實地,無向無背、無欠無餘。J39nB468_p0902c01到者裏,三搭不回底由是自負,挨著便轉又是平地J39nB468_p0902c02喫交。正恁麼時,還知天龍為人落處麼?」良久,曰:「四海J39nB468_p0902c03浪平龍睡穩,九天雲淨鶴飛高。」復舉:「三聖道:『我逢人J39nB468_p0902c04則出,出則不為人。』興化道:『我逢人則不出,出則便為J39nB468_p0902c05人。』」師云:「二犬老名喧宇宙、道重古今,因甚麼一個藏J39nB468_p0902c06頭露尾?一個露尾藏頭?引得後代兒孫個個鑽龜打J39nB468_p0902c07瓦。據今論量,好各與三十柱杖。何故?天龍門下令不J39nB468_p0902c08虛行。」
J39nB468_p0902c09上堂。「世尊住世,為一大事因緣,也似小兒患天弔。達J39nB468_p0902c10磨西來,直指人心,見性成佛,猶將丹紫畫連城。所以J39nB468_p0902c11惹得狸奴白牯抱屈生嗔,露柱燈籠含冤冷笑。且道J39nB468_p0902c12他笑個甚麼?人人手持足運,個個鼻直眼橫,寒時著J39nB468_p0902c13衣,饑時喫飯,折旋俯仰,運用施為,一一天真,一一明J39nB468_p0902c14妙,更說甚麼三七思惟,久默斯要?咄!千峰勢到嶽邊J39nB468_p0902c15止,萬派聲歸海上消。」
J39nB468_p0902c16臘八日,上堂。僧問:「霜寒露冷,月白風清,正當是時,釋J39nB468_p0902c17迦成道即不問,明星現處作麼生?」師云:「有眼皆見。」進J39nB468_p0902c18云:「見後如何?」師云:「打失鼻孔。」進云:「謝師答話。」師云:「也J39nB468_p0902c19是承虛接響。」乃云:「霜寒露冷,月白風清,正當是時,雪J39nB468_p0902c20山午夜一天星盡,大地眾生同見同明,同證如來智J39nB468_p0902c21慧德相,更說甚麼妄想執著所隔,不能得證。釋迦老J39nB468_p0902c22子,無端特端妄區分,誣陷平人,脫賺後代兒孫,個個J39nB468_p0902c23錯認定盤星。」喝一喝,下座。
J39nB468_p0902c24上堂。「打梆出坡,打板過堂,會則神通妙用,不會則業J39nB468_p0902c25識忙忙。咄!切莫壓良為賤。」卓杖一下,云:「鳧脛短兮鶴J39nB468_p0902c26脛長。」
J39nB468_p0902c27敘事,上堂。「世尊住世,五時說法。近來諸方三日一小J39nB468_p0902c28參,五日一陞座。天龍這裏則不然,半月半月一上堂。J39nB468_p0902c29既佛法本來不二,因甚卻有兩般主張?且道分別在J39nB468_p0902c30甚麼處?」良久,云:「多虛不如少實。」
J39nB468_p0903a01元旦,上堂。「元正啟祚,萬物維新,普天匝地,咸樂昇平。J39nB468_p0903a02佛法二字猶是剩語,那堪論有論無、說新說舊?敢問J39nB468_p0903a03大眾:且道新歲今來何處來?舊歲昨去那裏去?來去J39nB468_p0903a04都是錯商量,怎奈其中有道理?甚麼道理?一年三百J39nB468_p0903a05六十日,日日日從東畔起。是則是……」卓杖一下,云:「逢人J39nB468_p0903a06不得錯舉。」
J39nB468_p0903a07即事,上堂。「佛殿揦橫卓,山門八字開,來者秪解於中J39nB468_p0903a08禮拜,孰能照顧頭上有棟梁材?」豎拂子,云:「若向者裏J39nB468_p0903a09覷得著底,山僧把他頭上頂戴。雖然如是,黃河三千J39nB468_p0903a10年一度清。」喝一喝,下座。
J39nB468_p0903a11元宵,上堂。「天上月光,人間燈光,光光相照,地久天長。J39nB468_p0903a12在在敲鑼擂鼓,處處音樂鏗鏘,村歌社舞樂無▆,說J39nB468_p0903a13甚人間天上?文殊、普賢橫眠柳巷花街,觀音、彌勒倒J39nB468_p0903a14臥酒肆淫房,正恁麼時,今佛放光明助發實相義則J39nB468_p0903a15且置,秪如張公喫酒李公醉,諸人又作麼生商量?」喝J39nB468_p0903a16一喝,下座。
J39nB468_p0903a17因法兄天一和尚耑人送法衣、法帔至,上堂。「冬令春J39nB468_p0903a18行遲太早,因緣逆順總無拘,大庾嶺頭陳公案,直至J39nB468_p0903a19而今拈弄奇。且道奇個甚麼?」拈起衣,云:「人人盡道提J39nB468_p0903a20不起底,因甚今日又在天龍手裏?」指法帔,云:「更有者J39nB468_p0903a21個覿面難瞞、卷舒由己,若向者裏著得一隻眼,自然J39nB468_p0903a22奇特上不妨奇特、殊勝中更加殊勝,然後掀翻海嶽、J39nB468_p0903a23撥轉乾坤,攪長河為酥酪、變大地作黃金,不為分外;J39nB468_p0903a24其或未能,莫將閒學解,埋沒祖師心。」喝一喝,下座。
J39nB468_p0903a25聖節,上堂。拈香,云:「即此者箇,祝延J39nB468_p0903a26今上皇帝聖躬萬歲!萬歲!萬萬歲!壽山福海,聳翠彌J39nB468_p0903a27深,堯風並慈風浩蕩,舜日與佛日常明。所以,八方歌J39nB468_p0903a28有道,四海樂無為。秪如林下衲子報恩一句又作麼J39nB468_p0903a29生?」良久,曰:「恩深轉無語,懷抱自分明。」擊拂子,下座。
J39nB468_p0903a30上堂。「春日熙熙,和風習習。岸柳搖金,溪桃吐赤。突出J39nB468_p0903b01威音那畔,揭示衲僧巴鼻。明歷歷,親的的,因甚惟道J39nB468_p0903b02江南三月鷓鴣啼,天龍門下打折驢脊?」
J39nB468_p0903b03示眾,上堂。「第一義諦,諸方道:鍾未響,鼓未鳴,未出方J39nB468_p0903b04丈已前分付了也。若恁麼,未免誤賺捕風捉影之流,J39nB468_p0903b05向黑山鬼窟裏作活計去在。殊不知鐘鼓交加,人天J39nB468_p0903b06普集,一句當天,十方通暢,塵塵剎剎無處不明,法法J39nB468_p0903b07頭頭何所不現?如天普蓋,似地普擎,直教人人共見,J39nB468_p0903b08個個同明,物我輝融,古今一致,不落見聞,全彰體用。J39nB468_p0903b09所以道:『人人有個無位真人,常在面門出入,未證據J39nB468_p0903b10者看看。』到者裏還回避得也無?若也回避得,三世諸J39nB468_p0903b11佛、歷代祖師並天下老和尚,一齊入地獄如箭射。既J39nB468_p0903b12回避不得,敢問諸人:第一義諦作麼生觀?觀即不無,J39nB468_p0903b13爭奈落在第二頭?」
J39nB468_p0903b14上堂。「大盡三十日,小盡二十九,三世諸佛不知有,黧J39nB468_p0903b15奴白牯卻知有。且道知個甚麼?雲中木馬嘶,海底泥J39nB468_p0903b16牛吼,驚起夜叉神,𨁝跳上岸,瞠眉努目,一一面南看J39nB468_p0903b17北斗。」
J39nB468_p0903b18上堂。「天高地厚,山尖水平,日出月落,夜暗晝明,龍吟J39nB468_p0903b19霧起,虎嘯風生,鴉鳴鵲噪,鳶飛雲騰,盡是當人不動J39nB468_p0903b20境界。於中是凡是聖、是男是女、是俗是僧,乃至四生J39nB468_p0903b21六道、情與無情……」卓拄杖一下,云:「總在者裏。一切智智J39nB468_p0903b22清清無二,無二分、無別無斷故。更說甚麼靈山拈花、J39nB468_p0903b23少室安心?檢點將來,也是眼裏著釘。」
J39nB468_p0903b24上堂。「父母未生前,神頭鬼面;狗子無佛性,膏肓大病。J39nB468_p0903b25萬法歸一,參天荊棘;一歸何處?轉入邪路。踏破牢關J39nB468_p0903b26解轉身,大夢胡為尚未惺?三生六十劫,總是可憐生。J39nB468_p0903b27何故聻?」卓拄杖一下,云:「野老不知堯舜力,鼕鼕打鼓J39nB468_p0903b28祭江神。」
J39nB468_p0903b29上堂。「隔山見煙知是火,隔牆見角知是牛,那吒太子J39nB468_p0903b30析骨還父、析肉還母,因甚麼演若達多認影迷頭?可J39nB468_p0903c01謂無限風光無限意,幾多歡喜幾多愁。」喝一喝,云:「還J39nB468_p0903c02會麼?喜底一任喜,愁底一任愁,五湖煙景有誰爭?夕J39nB468_p0903c03陽西去水東流。」
J39nB468_p0903c04中秋,上堂。「寶月放光,丹桂飄香,兩彩一賽,鼻孔昂藏。J39nB468_p0903c05正恁麼時,直饒道好修行、好供養,禪歸海、經歸藏,總J39nB468_p0903c06好喫龍山痛棒。何以?分明有月落波心,自是無雲生J39nB468_p0903c07嶺上。」喝一喝,下座。
J39nB468_p0903c08臘八日,上堂。「天是天,地是地,日月是日月,星辰是星J39nB468_p0903c09辰,山川是山川,草木是草木,人是人,物是物。所以道:J39nB468_p0903c10『是法住法位,世間相常住。』釋迦老子是皇宮太子,無J39nB468_p0903c11端向雪山六年苦行,夜睹明星,喚作悟道成佛。」喝一J39nB468_p0903c12喝,云:「白玉本無瑕,甘自遭塗汙。雖然如是,不得春風J39nB468_p0903c13花不開,花開須借春風拂。」
J39nB468_p0903c14元旦,上堂。「一年十二月,一月三十日,一日十二時,年J39nB468_p0903c15年是好年,月月是好月,日日是好日,時時是好時,因J39nB468_p0903c16甚麼今日又喚作元旦?所以道:『欲識佛性義,但觀時J39nB468_p0903c17節因緣。時節若至,其理自彰。』即今時節已至,其理已J39nB468_p0903c18彰,佛性義作麼生商量?」靠拄杖,云:「皇風浩蕩乾坤廓,J39nB468_p0903c19野老謳歌春晝長。」
J39nB468_p0903c20上堂。「我宗無語句,亦無一法與人。德山老漢背月▆J39nB468_p0903c21影,掩耳偷鈴。殊不知山河大地、草木叢林,文殊、普賢J39nB468_p0903c22無處藏身;牆壁瓦礫,忠國師一生受用不盡。立雪斷J39nB468_p0903c23臂與安心,眼裏無觔一世貧。」喝一喝,下座。
J39nB468_p0903c24上堂。「三千七百則爛葛藤,誤賺後代兒孫偏知倒見;J39nB468_p0903c25五千四十八卷閒故紙,累及天下癡人造心殃。於中J39nB468_p0903c26還有知端的者麼?」卓拄杖,云:「水向石邊流出冷,風從J39nB468_p0903c27花裏過來香。」
J39nB468_p0903c28上堂。「官不容針,私通車馬。」卓拄杖一下,云:「放開線道,J39nB468_p0903c29之乎也者。若有把斷要津、不通凡聖底來,正好勘過J39nB468_p0903c30了打。何以如此?杜鵑啼血染山花。」
J39nB468_p0904a01上堂。「禪禪禪,饑來喫飯困來眠;道道道,城樓五鼓金J39nB468_p0904a02雞叫。除卻禪,去卻道,夜半日頭紅杲杲。於此者裏知J39nB468_p0904a03分曉,夜明簾外轉身早。是則是,只是衲僧門下未免J39nB468_p0904a04攔胸踏倒。且道衲僧門下又有甚長處?」良久,云:「了。」
J39nB468_p0904a05上堂。「春寒秋熱,隆冬下雪。梅花開放嶺頭,路上行人J39nB468_p0904a06欲歇不歇。何故不歇?眼觀東南,意在西北。殊不知,饒J39nB468_p0904a07你走遍天涯海角,踏翻茶陵橋板,豁然大悟。天龍拄J39nB468_p0904a08杖子,緩緩向你道:『明月蘆花一樣看,鷺鷥立雪非同J39nB468_p0904a09色。』」一喝。
J39nB468_p0904a10上堂。「儱儱侗侗,瞞瞞頇頇,正是全體大用。法法分明,J39nB468_p0904a11頭頭合轍,未免遍地葛藤。天龍只知饑來喫飯,困來J39nB468_p0904a12打眠,夢昇兜率猶未惺,金雞啼唱五更天。」
J39nB468_p0904a13退院,上堂。「動若行雲,止猶谷神,在在綠楊堪繫馬。本J39nB468_p0904a14無心於彼此,寧有相於去來?家家有路透長安,只知J39nB468_p0904a15來去不以相、動靜不以心。作麼生是退院一句?」卓杖,J39nB468_p0904a16云:「一月普現一切水,一切水月一月攝。」
住松巋山普光禪寺
J39nB468_p0904a18山門。「祖翁門戶八字打開,一任鳳翥龍翔。」曳拄杖,云:J39nB468_p0904a19「從者裏入。」
J39nB468_p0904a20佛殿。「釋迦彌勒,元無彼此,覿面相逢,齊之以禮。」展具J39nB468_p0904a21便拜。
J39nB468_p0904a22祖堂。「西天四七,東土二三,水流千派,共出一源。且道J39nB468_p0904a23以何為驗?」插香,云:「一片栴檀一縷煙。」
J39nB468_p0904a24據室。「者裏是先師奮獅子威,野狐屏跡,握吹毛劍,斷J39nB468_p0904a25衲僧命根底所在。今日不肖到此,別無長處,只得據J39nB468_p0904a26令而行。」卓拄杖便起。
J39nB468_p0904a27上堂。拈帖云:「正法流通,無分二諦,迭相扶持,淵源有J39nB468_p0904a28據。且道其中事作麼生?聽取維那剖露。」指法座云:「佛J39nB468_p0904a29祖階級,人天榜樣,賣狗懸羊,擔枷過狀。新長老到此J39nB468_p0904a30回避無門,也只得納敗一上。」便陞。拈香祝 聖畢,再J39nB468_p0904b01拈云:「此瓣香昔年於此山中薰鍛,今日於此堂上拈J39nB468_p0904b02出,此是第二回熱向爐中,專申供養本山堂上上善J39nB468_p0904b03下權先師老和尚,用酬法乳之恩。」白椎竟,師拍禪床J39nB468_p0904b04一下云:「三世諸佛、歷代祖師並天下老和尚,到者裏J39nB468_p0904b05皆云提揭向上宗猷,發明第一義諦,殊不知遞相鈍J39nB468_p0904b06置了也。何故?頭上是天,腳下是地,物物春生夏長,人J39nB468_p0904b07人眼橫鼻直,一切本自見成,那容節外生枝?既然,且J39nB468_p0904b08道今日新長老入院陞堂又為甚麼邊事?若道為了J39nB468_p0904b09先人未了公案,猶是孤負先人;若道顯揚古佛家風,J39nB468_p0904b10猶是孤負古佛;若道揭示人天正眼,猶是孤負人天。J39nB468_p0904b11正恁麼時總不與麼,畢竟為甚麼邊事?」復拍一拍云:J39nB468_p0904b12「從前汗馬無人識,只要重論蓋代功。」喝一喝,下座。
J39nB468_p0904b13上堂。良久,云:「若向者裏倜儻得去,直下纖塵不立,截J39nB468_p0904b14斷佛祖命根,人人常光現前,各各壁立萬仞,縱橫挂J39nB468_p0904b15寰中日月,卷舒立方外乾坤,更說甚麼聞聲悟道、見J39nB468_p0904b16色明心,眼裏塵沙耳裏土?誠哉實言。倘或遲疑,且須J39nB468_p0904b17薦取葛藤。」以拂子打圓相,云:「看看!只者個原不從天J39nB468_p0904b18降、不從地生,亦非空有,在處稱尊,乾坤無與比其大、J39nB468_p0904b19日月無與比其明、虛空無與比其量、滄海無與比其J39nB468_p0904b20深,不可思、不可議、不可量、不可稱,山川大地、草木叢J39nB468_p0904b21林、森羅萬象,情與無情總是渠堂奧中物,亙古亙今J39nB468_p0904b22無人敢侵,千手大悲摸索不定,摩醯正眼覿體難明,J39nB468_p0904b23所以三乘聞之膽喪、十地聞之魂驚。咦!極是見成底J39nB468_p0904b24事,因甚得與麼尊貴、與麼難親?」復良久,云:「動著則禍J39nB468_p0904b25生。」

J39nB468_p0904c03佛誕日,沙彌披剃,請上堂。「纔出娘胎,指天指地,尊貴J39nB468_p0904c04天然,有本可據。且道是甚麼本?不見道:『未離兜率,已J39nB468_p0904c05降皇宮;未出母胎,度人已畢。』」卓拄杖一下,云:「出家沙J39nB468_p0904c06彌直須向者裏會去,曠劫無明當下冰消,累世業緣J39nB468_p0904c07一時坐斷,便可離塵脫俗、薙髮披緇,不離當處常湛J39nB468_p0904c08然,一超直入如來地。」復卓拄杖,下座。
J39nB468_p0904c09祈雨,上堂。「饑則食,渴則飲,寒則衣,理出自然。福宜感,J39nB468_p0904c10過宜解,事宜為,豈有別焉?所以道:『欲識佛性義,當觀J39nB468_p0904c11時節因緣。時節若至,其理自彰。』大眾!且道即今是甚J39nB468_p0904c12麼時節?旱魃為虐,失天地好生之德;風狂日麗,增萬J39nB468_p0904c13物塗炭之殃。遍界農人忍聲悲嘆,山中野老蹙額沉J39nB468_p0904c14吟,林下道人豈無憂濟?怎奈聚首無策。」驀拈拄杖,云:J39nB468_p0904c15「幸有者木上座臨機即應,見義勇為,所以不忍見聞,J39nB468_p0904c16直得挺身相救。如何救?翻身𨁝跳上三十三天,築著J39nB468_p0904c17帝釋鼻孔,帝釋噴嚏一聲,即時普天匝地油然作雲、J39nB468_p0904c18沛然下雨。既然,山僧亦得相助其力去也。作麼生是J39nB468_p0904c19相助底句?」卓一卓,云:「急急如律令敕。」
J39nB468_p0904c20端節,上堂。「無米包粽子,客來沒款待。蒿湯備禮儀,大J39nB468_p0904c21家同聚會。隈隈摧摧,壘壘堆堆。但得一時和氣藹然,J39nB468_p0904c22赤日白舌自然遠遁他方。雄符硃敕,蒲劍艾虎,總不J39nB468_p0904c23消在。何故?家無白澤之圖,必無如是妖怪。」
J39nB468_p0904c24上堂。「蛇無頭不行,鳥無翅不飛。」拈起拄杖,云:「看看!喚J39nB468_p0904c25作拄杖則觸,不喚作拄杖則背,直下承當,了無向背。J39nB468_p0904c26如之若何?甘受處分。山僧若瞞諸人,自墮拔舌犁耕。J39nB468_p0904c27是汝諸人還信得及麼?」卓一卓,云:「劈開華嶽連天秀,J39nB468_p0904c28放出黃河徹底清。」
J39nB468_p0904c29上堂。拈起拂子,云:「即此用,離此用,檢點一場乾打開,J39nB468_p0904c30直下承當即下愚,拋卻依然是狐種。於中若有總不J39nB468_p0905a01恁麼底,病在膏肓不可醫。畢竟如何即是?」擊案一下,J39nB468_p0905a02云:「吁!」
J39nB468_p0905a03上堂。「天地同根,萬物一體。正眼觀來,豈有此理?有物J39nB468_p0905a04先天地,無形本寂寥。能為萬象主,不逐四時凋。卻較J39nB468_p0905a05些子。咄!」
J39nB468_p0905a06中秋,上堂。「月圓月缺,猶是幻中境界;桂開桂卸,無非J39nB468_p0905a07世諦馨香。於中有箇亙古亙今、不開不卸、無圓無缺J39nB468_p0905a08底,亦不可作奇特商量。若作奇特商量,腳跟下便與J39nB468_p0905a09三十痛棒。何故?好肉上不許剜瘡。」
J39nB468_p0905a10上堂。「南泉斬貓,歸宗斬蛇。有例不可興,無例不可缺。J39nB468_p0905a11咄!仁者不憂,智者不惑。」卓杖一下,云:「珊瑚枝枝撐著J39nB468_p0905a12月。」
J39nB468_p0905a13上堂。「歷歷明明,古今不變。撾鼓陞堂,全機展演。坐立J39nB468_p0905a14儼然,相呈覿面。卓杖下喝,壓良為賤。智者猶迷,愚者J39nB468_p0905a15取辨。離智絕愚,好看方便。甚麼方便?呵呵,倒騎驢兮J39nB468_p0905a16入佛殿。」
J39nB468_p0905a17冬至,上堂。「陽極則生陰,陰極則生陽,秪如陰陽不相J39nB468_p0905a18千處,諸人又作麼生商量?雖然,時節不可不應,只得J39nB468_p0905a19冰河發燄、寒谷生輝,但不許書雲遮障,那管他線短J39nB468_p0905a20線長?」卓拄杖,云:「晴空愛日挂當陽,乾坤獨露堂堂。」
J39nB468_p0905a21臘八日,上堂。「奇哉三嘆睹明星,漏逗一場冤莫伸,千J39nB468_p0905a22古無人能雪釋,瞎驢瞎馬趕成群。即今還有為釋迦J39nB468_p0905a23老子雪釋得底麼?緩緩著,是非已落傍人耳,洗到驢J39nB468_p0905a24年也不清。」
J39nB468_p0905a25上堂。「西來大意,白雪陽春。擬問如何,打失眼睛。諸人J39nB468_p0905a26聞恁麼道,未免避地裡商量,也是白日眼著釘。似則J39nB468_p0905a27也似,是則未能。何故聻?」良久曰:「雪後始知松柏操,事J39nB468_p0905a28難方見丈夫心。」
J39nB468_p0905a29上堂。「靈山奧旨,少室真機,自天子以至於庶人,壹是J39nB468_p0905a30皆以修身為本,因甚麼百姓日用而不知?何故不知?」J39nB468_p0905b01拍膝一下,云:「只為分明極,返令所得遲。」
J39nB468_p0905b02元旦,上堂。「說新又不新,道舊亦非舊,新舊兩無干,冷J39nB468_p0905b03灰重爆豆。既是新舊無干,因甚卻成冷灰爆豆?莫不J39nB468_p0905b04是本來無新舊,由自強名模?恁麼見解,作他座主奴J39nB468_p0905b05也未得在。還分析得麼?不萌枝上含春色,鐵樹開花J39nB468_p0905b06遍界香。」
J39nB468_p0905b07上堂。「呈橈並舞棹,拋子大江心,兩岸渡頭客,灼然喫J39nB468_p0905b08一驚。看者看,行者行,風攪蘆花雪滿亭。松巋恁麼告J39nB468_p0905b09報,大似當面熱瞞,汝等諸人作麼生?」驀拈拄杖,云:「看J39nB468_p0905b10看!三百餘會談不盡,九年坐得骨頭疼。靈利漢,莫追J39nB468_p0905b11尋,五更清早起,更有夜人行。且道以何為證?」以拄杖J39nB468_p0905b12畫一畫,云:「魚躍淺塘花正發,鳥歌深樹日初晴。」
J39nB468_p0905b13上堂。「一夜落花雨,滿溪流水香,祖師西來意,端的沒J39nB468_p0905b14商量。何故沒商量?」卓拄杖一下,云:「狀元本是天生定,J39nB468_p0905b15莫把馮京作馬涼。」
J39nB468_p0905b16上堂。「胡來胡現,漢來漢現。」遂喝一喝,云:「虛妄浮心,多J39nB468_p0905b17諸巧見。作麼生是真實底句?盞子撲落地,碟子成七J39nB468_p0905b18片。」
J39nB468_p0905b19佛誕日,上堂。「四月八,浴悉達,香水分明似惡湯,為報J39nB468_p0905b20人人非眼瞎。這些則且置,秪如雲門大師到來,敢問J39nB468_p0905b21諸人:作麼生角煞?不角煞,亂啼春鳥落藤花。」喝一喝,J39nB468_p0905b22下座。
J39nB468_p0905b23上堂。「年年說,月月說,日日說,時時說,在在說,處處說,J39nB468_p0905b24塵塵說,剎剎說,說無間歇。諸人還會麼?不見道:『烏石J39nB468_p0905b25嶺與汝相見了也,山門頭與汝相見了也,僧堂前與J39nB468_p0905b26汝相見了也。』還會麼?癡人面前不得說夢。」
J39nB468_p0905b27度僧,上堂。「本來圓潔,何用剃披?古人向佛殿前剷草,J39nB468_p0905b28看來也是鬼家活計。」拈起刀子,云:「看看!若是有智底J39nB468_p0905b29男兒,直須向者裏識得根源端的,出家功德已畢,豈J39nB468_p0905b30待鬚髮落地?其或未然,山僧直得有條攀條、無條攀J39nB468_p0905c01例。」遂度刀,云:「剃!剃!」
J39nB468_p0905c02上堂。「東邊日出西邊曉,水底魚兮山上鳥。鼻祖西來J39nB468_p0905c03端的意,分明親切盡道了。盡道了,試問諸人曉不曉?J39nB468_p0905c04曉曉曉,良哉觀世音,全身入荒草。」
J39nB468_p0905c05上堂。「處處真,處處真,塵塵剎剎本來人。者般說話,唱J39nB468_p0905c06教門中足可觀光,衲僧門下未免白日見鬼。且道衲J39nB468_p0905c07僧門下又有甚長處?」良久曰:「衲被蒙頭萬事休,此時J39nB468_p0905c08山僧都不會。」
J39nB468_p0905c09端節,上堂。「五月初五日,自古是端陽,人人皆知得,不J39nB468_p0905c10用更商量。龍舟鬥水際,百藥採山岡,個事分明極,直J39nB468_p0905c11下好承當。承當則且置,秪如同時相應一句作麼生J39nB468_p0905c12道?熏風自南來,殿閣生微涼。」
J39nB468_p0905c13上堂。「普化風顛搖鈴,禾山賣弄打鼓,丹霞寒燒木佛,J39nB468_p0905c14香嚴沒幹上樹,將謂各逞風流,孰知盡成敗露?細以J39nB468_p0905c15檢點將來,爭似庭前露柱,默默不動威嚴?一任千人J39nB468_p0905c16萬人到此,只得覿面回互。且道回互個甚麼?咦!不回J39nB468_p0905c17互,撞破腦門鮮血出。」
J39nB468_p0905c18上堂。「明明個事在當人,叵耐當人自不親,今日山僧J39nB468_p0905c19沒伎倆,拈來特地為區分。且道分個甚麼?盤江河木J39nB468_p0905c20橋原秪用幾條鐵鍊,關嶺馬跑井廟神乃是漢關將J39nB468_p0905c21軍,來往客人古今祈禱不盡,於中求長壽得長壽、求J39nB468_p0905c22富饒得富饒、求官位得官位、求安穩得安穩,失然有J39nB468_p0905c23不得意者,返怪神明籤不靈,看來總是不知恩。」遂拍J39nB468_p0905c24手呵呵大笑,云:「還知麼?松巋恁麼告報孟八郎漢,又J39nB468_p0905c25切莫錯認定盤星。」喝一喝,下坐。
J39nB468_p0905c26上堂。「一二三四五六七,獻寶波斯樹上立;七六五四J39nB468_p0905c27三二一,碧眼胡僧覷不及。付與東村王大老,笑倒西J39nB468_p0905c28村石土地,惹得胡張三、黑李四,二人冷地不甘,直得J39nB468_p0905c29眉毛廝結、兩腳捎空,走到松巋峰頂,揚聲大叫曰:『長J39nB468_p0905c30老!不是,不是。』山僧自恃徉▆不睬,拄杖子忍俊不禁,J39nB468_p0906a01輕輕𨁝跳出來,當頭一拶,二人只得冰消瓦解,疾走J39nB468_p0906a02無邊。然後拄杖子款款地道:『也大奇,也大奇,灼然有J39nB468_p0906a03理不相欺。不然,總是錯認定盤星,那能識得鉤頭意?』J39nB468_p0906a04且道:如何是鉤頭意?」卓拄杖,云:「南山起雲,北山下雨。」
J39nB468_p0906a05上堂。「若論者個事,一一有來源。甚麼來源?天乾一定J39nB468_p0906a06是荒年,水旱也亦然,直得晴雨兩相稱,恰好是豐年。J39nB468_p0906a07所以道:『苦瓜連根苦,甜瓜徹蒂甜。』還會麼?」擊拂子,云:J39nB468_p0906a08「穿破綾纙只是衣,喫盡千般莫過鹽,滋味本無別,何J39nB468_p0906a09用假言傳?咦!不言傳,將謂壺中別有天。」
J39nB468_p0906a10上堂。「平施大用沒多般,一句當陽仔細看,直下了明J39nB468_p0906a11無漸次,回頭鐵馬更加鞭。大眾!既是直下了明無漸J39nB468_p0906a12次,因甚麼回頭鐵馬又更加鞭?」良久,云:「棒打石人頭J39nB468_p0906a13血出,知音定不等閒看。」
J39nB468_p0906a14本師善權和尚忌。拈香云:「觸不得,背不得,橫按莫邪J39nB468_p0906a15活捉賊;觸也得,背也得,直下證龜翻成鱉。松巋不是J39nB468_p0906a16揚家醜,分明有話當人說。且道說個甚麼?今日先師J39nB468_p0906a17忌辰,設供上香禮拜。」
J39nB468_p0906a18上堂。「千千有個頭,萬萬有個尾。有頭有尾,花開碓嘴;J39nB468_p0906a19無頭無尾,是何神鬼?三世諸佛弄鬼、歷代祖師弄鬼、J39nB468_p0906a20古今天下老和尚弄鬼,盡十方湖海衲子總在鬼窟J39nB468_p0906a21裏作活計。松巋今日路見不平,且要向鬼神莫測處J39nB468_p0906a22施大機、顯大用,與諸人通個消息。還委悉麼?」良久云:J39nB468_p0906a23「又添得一個。」
J39nB468_p0906a24上堂。「直切相為,那許如何若何?但來問者,劈脊便棒,J39nB468_p0906a25隨聲便喝。諸人若作棒喝商量,自是白雲萬里,覿面J39nB468_p0906a26千山。直饒不作棒喝商量,亦未免驢前馬後。還委悉J39nB468_p0906a27麼?」良久曰:「一陣風來一陣寒,冷地誰人著眼看?」
J39nB468_p0906a28幢老和尚忌。拈香云:「有利則有害,有成則有敗,三方J39nB468_p0906a29及四維,上下並內外,不是臨濟三玄,亦非洞山五位,J39nB468_p0906a30牛頭栴檀莫比,兜樓沉水豈賽?今日落在愚孫手裏,J39nB468_p0906b01又且如何施設?」插香云:「等閒觸碎師翁鼻,兒孫一代J39nB468_p0906b02強一代。」
J39nB468_p0906b03上堂。「四方無壁落,八面亦無門,橫身當宇宙,充塞滿J39nB468_p0906b04乾坤。進一步,踢倒百億最勝須彌盧;退一步,踏翻無J39nB468_p0906b05量無邊世界海。秪如不進不退,三世諸佛、歷代祖師J39nB468_p0906b06並天下老和尚一齊乞命。正恁麼時,汝等諸人又向J39nB468_p0906b07甚麼處轉身?若也轉得身、吐得氣,不妨把手共行;其J39nB468_p0906b08或未能,山僧有條通天活路布施諸人去也。」擲拄杖,J39nB468_p0906b09下座。
J39nB468_p0906b10元宵,上堂。「日月燈明佛,互相為晝夜,亙古不相違,此J39nB468_p0906b11夜最親切。最親切,年年正月半,便是元宵節,壁上挂J39nB468_p0906b12燈籠,空中懸寶月,嘉州大象趁光明,陝府鐵牛生懽J39nB468_p0906b13悅。休懽悅,看來也是證龜成鱉。」
J39nB468_p0906b14上堂。「釋迦老子為一大事因緣出現於世,四十九年,J39nB468_p0906b15三百餘會,鼓兩片皮,橫說豎說,為之度生。達磨大師J39nB468_p0906b16十萬里航海而來,少室堆堆冷坐,為之求人。由是賺J39nB468_p0906b17他斷臂安心,腰石舂米,九上三登,不落因果,墮五百J39nB468_p0906b18生野狐,不昧因果,脫野狐身。呵呵,雲在嶺頭閒不徹,J39nB468_p0906b19水流澗底太茫生。」喝一喝,下座。
J39nB468_p0906b20應請退院,上堂。「說進說退,無端妄分彼此;若也進退J39nB468_p0906b21兩忘,自然打成一片。所以道:盡乾坤大地是個院子,J39nB468_p0906b22溪山雲月為知己,更嫌何地不風流?拄杖橫肩得自J39nB468_p0906b23由。秪如卻允人情,應時及節一句作麼生道?千江有J39nB468_p0906b24水千江月,萬里無雲萬里天。」
