當日韓檀越設齋請上堂師至座前接帖云:「者個催J38nB418_p0522a20命符子四月在浙中見得便覺頭痛六越月來差排J38nB418_p0522a21不下今日無計可施只得將錯就錯雖然且聽維那J38nB418_p0522a22敷宣。」宣畢師曰:「人生半百霜添鬢幾住叢林心J38nB418_p0522a23不省何緣來大覺拖泥帶水上高樓。」拽杖便陞拈香J38nB418_p0522a24:「此瓣香蘊盤古大化之始冠百王至治之功價重J38nB418_p0522a25須彌恩溥沙界端為祝延J38nB418_p0522a26今上皇帝聖躬萬歲萬萬歲欽願聖明超日月睿筭等J38nB418_p0522a27天地此瓣香奉為鎮海將軍三路巡憲郡邑文武諸J38nB418_p0522a28大尊官伏願善政日新恩承雨露嘉聲載道詔聽鹽J38nB418_p0522a29此瓣香奉為合府紳衿士庶本寺請主街鄰伏願J38nB418_p0522a30J38nB418_p0522b01朝廷簡命作生民父母子孫奕葉福壽綿延此瓣香J38nB418_p0522b02奉為諸剎知識本山耆舊伏願明大法眼超出二乘J38nB418_p0522b03小見具正知解不餐野狐涎唾同欽般若共扶正宗。」J38nB418_p0522b04乃于懷中拈出云:「此炷香威音王佛覷不見歷代祖J38nB418_p0522b05師價難酬廿七年前碧雲深處得來近十六載浙西J38nB418_p0522b06吳東三主名剎用不了底今朝鐵甕城南虎踞山畔J38nB418_p0522b07第四回拈出供養初住廬山東林末住碧雲龍興J38nB418_p0522b08師山鐸大和尚從教炙地薰天。」衣就座維那白椎J38nB418_p0522b09師曰:「一微塵裏普現大千國土當頭坐斷天下衲J38nB418_p0522b10僧乞命出格高流如何即得?」西堂鶴山問:「門庭施設J38nB418_p0522b11英靈入格外深談作者知如何是賓?」師曰:「滿面塵埃J38nB418_p0522b12氣象新。」:「獅王吼出無生旨座上香飄劫外春如何J38nB418_p0522b13是主?」師曰:「氣噴風雷超彼此。」:「處處綠楊堪繫馬J38nB418_p0522b14家有路透長安如何是賓中賓?」師曰:「手攜竹杖問途J38nB418_p0522b15。」:「把斷要津無背向不同凡聖絕商量如何是主J38nB418_p0522b16中主?」師曰:「倚天長劍逼人寒。」:「賓主蒙指示今日J38nB418_p0522b17和尚離甘露赴大覺有何施設?」師曰:「有眼者見有耳J38nB418_p0522b18者聞。」:「頭頭皆顯現無處不稱尊如何是普利人天J38nB418_p0522b19?」師曰:「當空懸。」:「陽春歌古調幾個是知音?」J38nB418_p0522b20:「少逢穿耳多遇刻舟。」:「豁開戶牖當軒者誰?」師震J38nB418_p0522b21聲一喝山曰:「恁麼則地靈人傑於茲日大覺門風振J38nB418_p0522b22古今。」師曰:「也要闍黎出隻手。」:「孤明歷歷即不問J38nB418_p0522b23出方丈事如何?」師曰:「佛祖枉測。」:「文殊七佛之師J38nB418_p0522b24甚出女子定不得?」師曰:「天空月皎碧底光寒。」:「罔明J38nB418_p0522b25初地菩薩為何出得?」師曰:「龍吟霧起虎嘯風生。」:「J38nB418_p0522b26與不出且置如何是定?」師曰:「山岳鎮靜而常動江河J38nB418_p0522b27競注而不流。」:「恁麼則祝融峰頂香風拂大覺山前J38nB418_p0522b28花雨飛。」師曰:「大好讚詠古仙。」後堂問:「東土大乘根器J38nB418_p0522b29河北具眼廝兒列祖綱宗請師一展。」師曰:「放開捏聚……」J38nB418_p0522b30隨豎拄杖曰:「須憑者個。」:「重逢嘉運再睹中興如何J38nB418_p0522c01是中興底事?」師曰:「黃河三千年清一度。」:「萬斯年泉J38nB418_p0522c02石生輝千五百住持仰賴。」師曰:「逢人但恁麼舉。」:「J38nB418_p0522c03尚今日新來大覺未審以何法驗人?」師曰:「袖裏金鎚J38nB418_p0522c04當面擲。」:「莫是和尚為人處麼?」師曰:「須彌頂上望天J38nB418_p0522c05。」:「好風來席上香飄劫外春。」師曰:「讚美之辭不厭J38nB418_p0522c06。」書記二輪問:「觀音菩薩買糊餅放下手來是饅頭。」J38nB418_p0522c07雙手呈坐具云:「且道是饅頭是糊餅?」師曰:「你且唼汁J38nB418_p0522c08。」:「喚作饅頭則觸不喚作饅頭則背畢竟喚作甚J38nB418_p0522c09?」師曰:「塞北雲橫野江南雨鎖津。」:「目前好景人皆J38nB418_p0522c10水到瀟湘分外清。」師曰:「換卻時人雙眼睛。」西一侍J38nB418_p0522c11者問:「車馬門前聲雜遝山川環拱翠屏開如何是大J38nB418_p0522c12覺境?」師曰:「京峴鐵甕排東北鶴峰虎皁擁西南。」:「J38nB418_p0522c13迦不在前彌勒不在後如何是境中人?」師曰:「眉毛罅J38nB418_p0522c14裏驅雷電手握雲泥不露蹤。」:「向上一路千聖不傳J38nB418_p0522c15如何是人境相融一句?」師曰:「龍向洞中啣雨出鳥從J38nB418_p0522c16花裏帶香飛。」:「庭前松柏千年秀海上洪波萬古滔。」J38nB418_p0522c17師曰:「源遠淵深知音有幾。」:「離名離相請師別通消J38nB418_p0522c18。」師曰:「非非想天砍額望無人能薦斷雙眉。」:「向上J38nB418_p0522c19一路蒙師指爪牙全露意如何?」師曰:「狐狼遠避野犴J38nB418_p0522c20潛蹤。」:「大覺山前懸杲日滹沱正派此真傳。」師曰:「J38nB418_p0522c21仰有分。」迺曰:「諸佛秘密藏團團無縫隙祖師心地印J38nB418_p0522c22狀似鐵牛機金針劄不入鶻眼覷無門任有旋乾轉J38nB418_p0522c23坤之作推山塞海之能到者裏猶是掉棒打月所以J38nB418_p0522c24:『向上一路千聖不傳學者勞形如猿捉影。』又曰:『J38nB418_p0522c25欲求之得無累乎及其厭之又成大患。』古人恁麼道J38nB418_p0522c26蓋是不得山僧不惜口過向第二義門放開一J38nB418_p0522c27共汝商量昔我大覺世尊在正覺山前睹星悟道J38nB418_p0522c28盡大地一切眾生蠢動含靈各證清淨法身萬象森J38nB418_p0522c29齊放光明地搖六震今日新大覺赴現前檀護之J38nB418_p0522c30入院陞座J38nB418_p0523a01聖之初天青日朗大地騰輝還有悟證者麼有則靈J38nB418_p0523a02山一會儼然未散堪報不報之恩共助無為之化J38nB418_p0523a03恁麼時且扶豎宗乘建立法幢一句又作麼生?」良久J38nB418_p0523a04:「拈起一枝無孔笛等閒吹出萬年歡。」復舉:「西天國J38nB418_p0523a05王問波羅提尊者曰:『吾欲作佛不知何者是佛?』者曰J38nB418_p0523a06見性是佛。』王曰:『師見性否?』者曰:『我見佛性。』王曰:『性在J38nB418_p0523a07何處?』者曰:『性在作用。』王曰:『是何作用我今不見。』者曰J38nB418_p0523a08今現作用王自不見。』王曰:『於我有否?』者曰:『王若作用J38nB418_p0523a09無有不是王若不用體亦難見。』王曰:『若作用時幾處J38nB418_p0523a10出現?』者曰:『若作用時出現有八。』王曰:『八處佛性當為J38nB418_p0523a11我說。』者曰:『在胎為身處世名人在眼曰見在耳曰聞J38nB418_p0523a12在鼻辨香在舌談論在手執捉在足運奔遍現俱該J38nB418_p0523a13沙界收攝在一微塵識者知是佛性不識喚作精魂。』J38nB418_p0523a14王聞其語即便大悟大慧和尚曰:『敢問法筵大眾J38nB418_p0523a15道西天國王悟得佛性耶悟得精魂耶若在八處J38nB418_p0523a16得只是精魂若離八處喚甚麼作佛性?』」師曰:「尊者被J38nB418_p0523a17國王一拶只得七花八裂眉毛眼睛一齊落下西天J38nB418_p0523a18國王受尊者熱瞞將無始以來生死根本認作佛性J38nB418_p0523a19檢點將來二俱不了大小玅喜與麼批判不免打作J38nB418_p0523a20兩橛山僧不是貶斥古人只要大家共知玅喜當時J38nB418_p0523a21自謂:『大悟一十八遍小悟不知其數。』若悟處有大有J38nB418_p0523a22非精魂而何若離卻大小悟在甚處者裏下得一J38nB418_p0523a23語親切便知西天國王悟底落處大眾於斯會得J38nB418_p0523a24邊剎境自他不隔于毫端十世古今始終不離于當J38nB418_p0523a25于斯不會新大覺與你道破。」以拂子揮一揮:「J38nB418_p0523a26鶴下田千點雪黃鸝上樹一枝花。」維那結椎師下座

晚參。「黑蟻腮邊鯤激三千頃之浪蟭螟眼裏鵬摶九J38nB418_p0523a28萬里之雲石人駕無底鐵船棹洪波于虛空背上J38nB418_p0523a29崙騎戴冠碧兔逐野馬于大海波中一一天真一一J38nB418_p0523a30明玅衲僧家動輒口吞佛祖眼蓋乾坤還恁麼會麼J38nB418_p0523b01於斯見得徹瓦解冰消倘或佇顧停思前途大有雪J38nB418_p0523b02霜在。」

托缽示眾。「三十年來住子胡二時粥飯氣力粗無事J38nB418_p0523b04下山行一轉借問諸人會也無子胡恁麼道無地著J38nB418_p0523b05心情一番提起處特地一沉吟檢點將來碩有凄清J38nB418_p0523b06大覺則不然初住大覺月未足每朝一飯兩餐粥J38nB418_p0523b07請街坊行一轉莫教踏著往來路。」

大禮節上堂。「六陰剝盡一陽生江北江南萬卉新J38nB418_p0523b09鶴山頭雲五色龍樓共祝聖明君。」

除歲小參。「年窮歲盡霜寒風凜歲盡年窮雲淨天空J38nB418_p0523b11直令拾得寒山滅跡掃蹤無本可據。」驀拈拄杖:「J38nB418_p0523b12大覺拄杖子上高聲道:『三十日到了也。』汝等還道得J38nB418_p0523b13一句恰好麼如無大覺拄杖子不免世諦流布。」卓一J38nB418_p0523b14:「椎鑼打鼓迎新歲設饌開樽送舊年。」復舉:「徑山J38nB418_p0523b15南明和尚云:『前年年鼻孔無半邊去年年兩眼不能J38nB418_p0523b16今年年三十精骨獻青天我禪說了諸人作麼J38nB418_p0523b17?』」師曰:「小南明到臘月三十日做手腳不辦鼻孔J38nB418_p0523b18眼睛不在面皮上三百六十骨節節節露出可憐生J38nB418_p0523b19折合不得大覺則不然前年年水浸烏龜腳踏天J38nB418_p0523b20年年熨斗著油猛火煎今年年三腳黑牛仰面看J38nB418_p0523b21無佛法可說諸人甚處加參更若不會聽取一頌J38nB418_p0523b22地卓錐猶自可無錐可卓實堪憐蝸牛角上誇豪富J38nB418_p0523b23海舶洋商任往還。」

元旦上堂。「歲朝物物總皆新馬面牛頭賀大平兩個J38nB418_p0523b25金剛齊拱手莫教埋沒祖師心還丹一顆高低遍J38nB418_p0523b26谷巖巒盡是金。」

新春上堂。「寒氣漸消春乍到鐵樹風前自放花鞭起J38nB418_p0523b28泥牛耕大地破沙盆種三斤麻三斤麻搓條繩子縛J38nB418_p0523b29煙霞須彌倒挂海門外盤石顛頭綻玉葩。」驀豎拄杖J38nB418_p0523b30:「大覺拄杖子當地忽抽芽。」

二月旦示眾。「春到廿五朝閻浮二月一塞北與江南J38nB418_p0523c02寒梅開石壁風和蘭蕙香雲煖筍新出樓閣門大開J38nB418_p0523c03寥寥望無極者裏直下了得一管教平生萬事畢J38nB418_p0523c04眾且道如何是一土地騎牛月下行金剛著靴水上J38nB418_p0523c05。」

祈晴值雪示眾。「九盡三朝雨家家食白米雨後一場J38nB418_p0523c07熟豆又熟麥今朝正值百花生樹樹瓊葩開教徹J38nB418_p0523c08陽春一曲少人和令人惆悵幾時歇好大眾莫憂結J38nB418_p0523c09且待天晴紅日出。」

涅槃日上堂。「梨花吐白雪之香柳線垂黃金之色J38nB418_p0523c11是如來清淨寂滅之相鴻鶴峰巖巒峭峻撐雲出J38nB418_p0523c12子江浩渺洪波動地流無非紫磨金色之身佛真玅J38nB418_p0523c13體猶若虛空亙古今而無一絲可增遍十方而無一J38nB418_p0523c14毫可滅今日則有明日則無切莫錯會若謂我佛有J38nB418_p0523c15所涅槃總是諸人執著取相虛妄不實大眾要會取J38nB418_p0523c16。」

丹徒鎮海潮寺監院遍吼上座懺罪設齋請上堂。「J38nB418_p0523c18千法門同歸方寸河沙玅德總在心源然心源湛寂J38nB418_p0523c19廓爾圓常絕慮絕思無取無捨愚者不知妄自繫縛J38nB418_p0523c20迷心取相隨想受生壅積成病。《淨名經:『若不隨聲J38nB418_p0523c21色動念不逐相貌生解自然無事去。』又曰:『逐物為邪J38nB418_p0523c22卻物為上。』大凡出家學道先要把妄想滅盡妄想既J38nB418_p0523c23雜念不起一切時一切處是非好惡都莫思量J38nB418_p0523c24心平等湛然了了如是則知心無相知心不壞知心J38nB418_p0523c25無取捨知心無去住知心不可得知心無心即是佛J38nB418_p0523c26亦名解脫法身亦名般若智體亦名菩提玅道J38nB418_p0523c27麼見得徹無佛可求無道可學無福德可聚無罪業J38nB418_p0523c28可除所以祖師云:『一切法有有不自有自心計作有J38nB418_p0523c29一切法無無不自無自心計作無。』若人自見之法J38nB418_p0523c30即得解脫法王者即自真心也此個真心不屬J38nB418_p0524a01陰陽造化世間一切境界籠罩不得繫級不得又何J38nB418_p0524a02魔何病而可染著哉山僧與麼告報固是不得J38nB418_p0524a03實際裏地本無一法可說遍吼上座於此座下亦無J38nB418_p0524a04一法可聞既無說無聞本來空寂既本來空寂且道J38nB418_p0524a05將甚麼物懺悔又將甚麼物求解脫?」拈杖一卓:「J38nB418_p0524a06會麼一念不生全體露碧天雲淨月輪高石女腰邊J38nB418_p0524a07裁兔角虛空背上刮龜毛。」

示眾。「十五日連旬雨滴石頭穿十五日J38nB418_p0524a09紅映日滿春路正當十五日牧童柳岸橫牛背短笛J38nB418_p0524a10無腔信口吹狼藉許多西祖意不知誰解攜將歸J38nB418_p0524a11將歸攤向街前人不識和煙搭上玉欄西。」

遍吼上座求懺請上堂。「夫修道之士捨離于一切J38nB418_p0524a13凡世間非世間法語言文字非語言文字法音聲色J38nB418_p0524a14相非音聲色相一一不得生染著念起愛樂心作執J38nB418_p0524a15持想空而不空無而不無曠然廓然蕩蕩無際於斯J38nB418_p0524a16會得無罪不懺無福不生只如罪滅福生如何受用?」J38nB418_p0524a17良久:「清風陣陣來何處吹得碧桃朵朵開。」

天壽聖節上堂。「乘本願以示生踞金輪而御極高懸J38nB418_p0524a19寶鑑措萬國以陶鈞密運靈樞攝大千而布政今日J38nB418_p0524a20恭逢天壽聖誕龜龍鱗鳳一時現瑞賢愚貴賤其慶J38nB418_p0524a21嘉辰秪如仰祝堯齡一句作麼生道?」驀豎拄杖:「J38nB418_p0524a22桃今日花初放泰岳松生萬歲枝。」

示眾。「今朝四月一處處花狼藉紫燕語梁嬌黃鶯歌J38nB418_p0524a24柳碧薰風自南來衲僧得消息且道是甚麼消息J38nB418_p0524a25長人倦時忽被蠟蚤咬背手摸得著開手不見了。」

佛誕日上堂。「今朝四月八我佛降生日九龍沐真軀J38nB418_p0524a27金蓮承寶足分手指天地運行周七步舉目顧四方J38nB418_p0524a28大作獅子吼後來雲門道:『我當時若見一棒打殺與J38nB418_p0524a29狗子喫貴圖天下太平。』」師曰:「雲門大師可謂牙根插J38nB418_p0524a30舌頭覆地殊不知事因叮囑起展轉見淆訛頌曰J38nB418_p0524b01可怪雲門老賊精一杯鴆酒卻傷身而今流毒天涯J38nB418_p0524b02馬額驢腮也逞能。」

普震上座懺罪請上堂。「心生則種種法生心滅則種J38nB418_p0524b04種法滅心逐法為邪法從心為正故曰:『心若不異J38nB418_p0524b05法一如如如之體了了常知。』若也妄生穿鑿迷倒之J38nB418_p0524b06若也一念不生十方坐斷恁麼薦得一切罪福皆J38nB418_p0524b07如夢幻還薦得麼?」揮拂子:「真玉泥中異黃金不博J38nB418_p0524b08。」復舉:「三祖為居士時問二祖曰:『弟子身纏風恙J38nB418_p0524b09師懺罪。』」師曰:「刺腦入膠盆二祖曰:『將罪來與汝懺。』」J38nB418_p0524b10:「撩鉤撻索三祖良久:『覓罪性了不可得。』」師曰:「J38nB418_p0524b11貧猶自可路貧愁殺人二祖曰:『與汝懺罪竟宜依佛J38nB418_p0524b12僧住。』」師曰:「昔日少林落節今朝者裏拔本三祖曰J38nB418_p0524b13今見和尚知是僧未審何名佛?』」師曰:「隨邪逐惡J38nB418_p0524b14二祖曰:『是心是佛是心是法佛無二寶亦然。』」J38nB418_p0524b15:「熟睡饒寱語三祖曰:『今日始知罪性不在內不在J38nB418_p0524b16不在中間如其心焉法無二。』」師曰:「秤鎚落井J38nB418_p0524b17祖器之。」師曰:「大似證龜作鱉山僧當日若在見者兩J38nB418_p0524b18個漢恁麼道好與縛作一團深掘一坑埋卻何故J38nB418_p0524b19使後人向覓罪覓心了不可得處作活計大眾還與J38nB418_p0524b20麼會麼更聽頌出覓無罪性懺無方雲淨天空月轉J38nB418_p0524b21冰壺擊碎潭無影太液池翻琥珀漿。」

眾請甘露結制上堂。「結為解之因解為結之果解結J38nB418_p0524b23互相承果因元不錯前年北固夏有結有解去年夏J38nB418_p0524b24嘉禾無解無結今年三處度夏甘露將期六載若為J38nB418_p0524b25結卻山僧即欲退隱巖竇恐不能為諸人解卻若不J38nB418_p0524b26就諸人一夏空過且道結即是不結即是?」良久J38nB418_p0524b27結與不結總在山僧解與不解悉聽首座。」

正黃旗高日昇薦考請對靈小參。「真性心地藏本無J38nB418_p0524b29向背虛假不實體妄有去來捨身與受身認影迷途J38nB418_p0524b30出生而入死虛受輪轉只者個靈靈不昧了了常知J38nB418_p0524c01直如秋月臨空清光遍界正恁麼時如何是得運高J38nB418_p0524c02公脫死超生的句?」揮拂子:「真常清淨界逍遙何處J38nB418_p0524c03?」
