J38nB418_p0522a04康熙戊寅歲十月二十三日入院。
J38nB418_p0522a05山門。師拈拄杖,左邊一卓曰:「左通鐵甕。」右邊一卓曰:J38nB418_p0522a06「右達毘陵。」中間一卓曰:「八字門開,全提正令。佛國魔J38nB418_p0522a07宮,一齊打正。」
J38nB418_p0522a08伽藍。「千古伽藍,一朝長老。我無你不來,你無我不玅。J38nB418_p0522a09一片赤心,高低共照。」
J38nB418_p0522a10韋馱。「示童真玅相,作法社千城,惟天勇健,除邪輔正。」J38nB418_p0522a11佛前。「佛之一字,吾不喜聞,今朝相見,條令斬新。」拈香,J38nB418_p0522a12云:「入水見長人。」
J38nB418_p0522a13祖堂。「釋迦不說,迦葉不聞,所悟何心?達磨不識,曹溪J38nB418_p0522a14不會,所傳何法?一隊馬額驢腮,怎似證龜成鱉?」
J38nB418_p0522a15踞室。「掣開無鬚鎖,未是衲僧本分;吸盡西江水,亦非J38nB418_p0522a16當家種草。殺佛殺祖,罵雨呵風,途路短販,毒龍頭上J38nB418_p0522a17截角,猛虎項下解鈴,痛與拄杖。何故?有大功者必重J38nB418_p0522a18賞。」
J38nB418_p0522a19當日韓檀越設齋,請上堂,師至座前接帖云:「者個催J38nB418_p0522a20命符子,四月在浙中見得便覺頭痛,六越月來差排J38nB418_p0522a21不下,今日無計可施,只得將錯就錯。雖然,且聽維那J38nB418_p0522a22敷宣。」宣畢,師曰:「人生半百霜添鬢,幾住叢林心已休,J38nB418_p0522a23不省何緣來大覺,拖泥帶水上高樓。」拽杖便陞,拈香J38nB418_p0522a24云:「此瓣香蘊盤古大化之始,冠百王至治之功,價重J38nB418_p0522a25須彌,恩溥沙界,端為祝延J38nB418_p0522a26今上皇帝聖躬萬歲萬萬歲,欽願聖明超日月,睿筭等J38nB418_p0522a27天地。此瓣香奉為鎮海將軍、三路巡憲、郡邑文武諸J38nB418_p0522a28大尊官,伏願善政日新,恩承雨露,嘉聲載道,詔聽鹽J38nB418_p0522a29梅。此瓣香奉為合府紳衿士庶、本寺請主街鄰,伏願J38nB418_p0522a30膺J38nB418_p0522b01朝廷簡命,作生民父母,子孫奕葉,福壽綿延。此瓣香J38nB418_p0522b02奉為諸剎知識、本山耆舊,伏願明大法眼,超出二乘J38nB418_p0522b03小見,具正知解,不餐野狐涎唾,同欽般若,共扶正宗。」J38nB418_p0522b04乃于懷中拈出云:「此炷香,威音王佛覷不見,歷代祖J38nB418_p0522b05師價難酬,廿七年前碧雲深處得來,近十六載浙西J38nB418_p0522b06吳東三主名剎用不了底,今朝鐵甕城南虎踞山畔。J38nB418_p0522b07第四回拈出供養初住廬山東林、末住碧雲龍興、先J38nB418_p0522b08師山鐸大和尚,從教炙地薰天。」斂衣就座。維那白椎J38nB418_p0522b09畢,師曰:「一微塵裏,普現大千國土。當頭坐斷,天下衲J38nB418_p0522b10僧乞命。出格高流,如何即得?」西堂鶴山問:「門庭施設J38nB418_p0522b11英靈入,格外深談作者知。如何是賓?」師曰:「滿面塵埃J38nB418_p0522b12氣象新。」曰:「獅王吼出無生旨,座上香飄劫外春。如何J38nB418_p0522b13是主?」師曰:「氣噴風雷超彼此。」曰:「處處綠楊堪繫馬,家J38nB418_p0522b14家有路透長安。如何是賓中賓?」師曰:「手攜竹杖問途J38nB418_p0522b15程。」曰:「把斷要津無背向,不同凡聖絕商量。如何是主J38nB418_p0522b16中主?」師曰:「倚天長劍逼人寒。」曰:「賓主已蒙指示,今日J38nB418_p0522b17和尚離甘露,赴大覺,有何施設?」師曰:「有眼者見,有耳J38nB418_p0522b18者聞。」曰:「頭頭皆顯現,無處不稱尊。如何是普利人天J38nB418_p0522b19句?」師曰:「當空懸杲日。」曰:「陽春歌古調,幾個是知音?」師J38nB418_p0522b20曰:「少逢穿耳,多遇刻舟。」曰:「豁開戶牖,當軒者誰?」師震J38nB418_p0522b21聲一喝。山曰:「恁麼則地靈人傑於茲日,大覺門風振J38nB418_p0522b22古今。」師曰:「也要闍黎出隻手。」問:「孤明歷歷即不問,未J38nB418_p0522b23出方丈事如何?」師曰:「佛祖枉測。」曰:「文殊七佛之師,因J38nB418_p0522b24甚出女子定不得?」師曰:「天空月皎,碧底光寒。」曰:「罔明J38nB418_p0522b25初地菩薩,為何出得?」師曰:「龍吟霧起,虎嘯風生。」曰:「出J38nB418_p0522b26與不出且置,如何是定?」師曰:「山岳鎮靜而常動,江河J38nB418_p0522b27競注而不流。」曰:「恁麼則祝融峰頂香風拂,大覺山前J38nB418_p0522b28花雨飛。」師曰:「大好讚詠古仙。」後堂問:「東土大乘根器,J38nB418_p0522b29河北具眼廝兒。列祖綱宗,請師一展。」師曰:「放開捏聚……」J38nB418_p0522b30隨豎拄杖曰:「須憑者個。」曰:「重逢嘉運,再睹中興。如何J38nB418_p0522c01是中興底事?」師曰:「黃河三千年清一度。」曰:「萬斯年泉J38nB418_p0522c02石生輝,千五百住持仰賴。」師曰:「逢人但恁麼舉。」曰:「和J38nB418_p0522c03尚今日新來大覺,未審以何法驗人?」師曰:「袖裏金鎚J38nB418_p0522c04當面擲。」曰:「莫是和尚為人處麼?」師曰:「須彌頂上望天J38nB418_p0522c05亭。」曰:「好風來席上,香飄劫外春。」師曰:「讚美之辭不厭J38nB418_p0522c06多。」書記二輪問:「觀音菩薩買糊餅,放下手來是饅頭。」J38nB418_p0522c07雙手呈坐具云:「且道是饅頭是糊餅?」師曰:「你且唼汁J38nB418_p0522c08看。」曰:「喚作饅頭則觸,不喚作饅頭則背。畢竟喚作甚J38nB418_p0522c09麼?」師曰:「塞北雲橫野,江南雨鎖津。」曰:「目前好景人皆J38nB418_p0522c10仰,水到瀟湘分外清。」師曰:「換卻時人雙眼睛。」西一侍J38nB418_p0522c11者問:「車馬門前聲雜遝,山川環拱翠屏開。如何是大J38nB418_p0522c12覺境?」師曰:「京峴鐵甕排東北,鶴峰虎皁擁西南。」曰:「釋J38nB418_p0522c13迦不在前,彌勒不在後。如何是境中人?」師曰:「眉毛罅J38nB418_p0522c14裏驅雷電,手握雲泥不露蹤。」曰:「向上一路,千聖不傳。J38nB418_p0522c15如何是人境相融一句?」師曰:「龍向洞中啣雨出,鳥從J38nB418_p0522c16花裏帶香飛。」曰:「庭前松柏千年秀,海上洪波萬古滔。」J38nB418_p0522c17師曰:「源遠淵深,知音有幾。」曰:「離名離相,請師別通消J38nB418_p0522c18息。」師曰:「非非想天砍額望,無人能薦斷雙眉。」曰:「向上J38nB418_p0522c19一路蒙師指,爪牙全露意如何?」師曰:「狐狼遠避,野犴J38nB418_p0522c20潛蹤。」曰:「大覺山前懸杲日,滹沱正派此真傳。」師曰:「瞻J38nB418_p0522c21仰有分。」迺曰:「諸佛秘密藏,團團無縫隙。祖師心地印,J38nB418_p0522c22狀似鐵牛機。金針劄不入,鶻眼覷無門。任有旋乾轉J38nB418_p0522c23坤之作,推山塞海之能,到者裏猶是掉棒打月。所以J38nB418_p0522c24云:『向上一路,千聖不傳。學者勞形,如猿捉影。』又曰:『汝J38nB418_p0522c25欲求之,得無累乎?及其厭之,又成大患。』古人恁麼道,J38nB418_p0522c26蓋是不得已也。山僧不惜口過,向第二義門放開一J38nB418_p0522c27線,共汝商量。昔我大覺世尊在正覺山前睹星悟道,J38nB418_p0522c28盡大地一切眾生蠢動含靈,各證清淨法身,萬象森J38nB418_p0522c29羅,齊放光明,地搖六震。今日新大覺赴現前檀護之J38nB418_p0522c30請,入院陞座。祝J38nB418_p0523a01聖之初,天青日朗,大地騰輝。還有悟證者麼?有則靈J38nB418_p0523a02山一會儼然未散,堪報不報之恩,共助無為之化。正J38nB418_p0523a03恁麼時,且扶豎宗乘、建立法幢一句又作麼生?」良久,J38nB418_p0523a04曰:「拈起一枝無孔笛,等閒吹出萬年歡。」復舉:「西天國J38nB418_p0523a05王問波羅提尊者曰:『吾欲作佛,不知何者是佛?』者曰:J38nB418_p0523a06『見性是佛。』王曰:『師見性否?』者曰:『我見佛性。』王曰:『性在J38nB418_p0523a07何處?』者曰:『性在作用。』王曰:『是何作用?我今不見。』者曰:J38nB418_p0523a08『今現作用,王自不見。』王曰:『於我有否?』者曰:『王若作用,J38nB418_p0523a09無有不是;王若不用,體亦難見。』王曰:『若作用時,幾處J38nB418_p0523a10出現?』者曰:『若作用時,出現有八。』王曰:『八處佛性,當為J38nB418_p0523a11我說。』者曰:『在胎為身,處世名人,在眼曰見,在耳曰聞,J38nB418_p0523a12在鼻辨香,在舌談論,在手執捉,在足運奔,遍現俱該J38nB418_p0523a13沙界,收攝在一微塵。識者知是佛性,不識喚作精魂。』J38nB418_p0523a14王聞其語,即便大悟。大慧和尚曰:『敢問法筵大眾:且J38nB418_p0523a15道西天國王悟得佛性耶?悟得精魂耶?若在八處,悟J38nB418_p0523a16得只是精魂;若離八處,喚甚麼作佛性?』」師曰:「尊者被J38nB418_p0523a17國王一拶,只得七花八裂,眉毛眼睛一齊落下。西天J38nB418_p0523a18國王受尊者熱瞞,將無始以來生死根本認作佛性,J38nB418_p0523a19檢點將來,二俱不了。大小玅喜與麼批判,不免打作J38nB418_p0523a20兩橛。山僧不是貶斥古人,只要大家共知。玅喜當時J38nB418_p0523a21自謂:『大悟一十八遍,小悟不知其數。』若悟處有大有J38nB418_p0523a22小,非精魂而何?若離卻大小,悟在甚處?者裏下得一J38nB418_p0523a23語親切,便知西天國王悟底落處。大眾!於斯會得,無J38nB418_p0523a24邊剎境自他不隔于毫端,十世古今始終不離于當J38nB418_p0523a25念;于斯不會,新大覺與你道破。」以拂子揮一揮,云:「白J38nB418_p0523a26鶴下田千點雪,黃鸝上樹一枝花。」維那結椎,師下座。
J38nB418_p0523a27晚參。「黑蟻腮邊鯤,激三千頃之浪;蟭螟眼裏鵬,摶九J38nB418_p0523a28萬里之雲。石人駕無底鐵船,棹洪波于虛空背上;崑J38nB418_p0523a29崙騎戴冠碧兔,逐野馬于大海波中。一一天真、一一J38nB418_p0523a30明玅,衲僧家動輒口吞佛祖、眼蓋乾坤,還恁麼會麼?J38nB418_p0523b01於斯見得徹,瓦解冰消;倘或佇顧停思,前途大有雪J38nB418_p0523b02霜在。」
J38nB418_p0523b03托缽,示眾。「三十年來住子胡,二時粥飯氣力粗,無事J38nB418_p0523b04下山行一轉,借問諸人會也無?子胡恁麼道,無地著J38nB418_p0523b05心情,一番提起處,特地一沉吟,檢點將來,碩有凄清。J38nB418_p0523b06大覺則不然,初住大覺月未足,每朝一飯兩餐粥,普J38nB418_p0523b07請街坊行一轉,莫教踏著往來路。」
J38nB418_p0523b08大禮節,上堂。「六陰剝盡一陽生,江北江南萬卉新。鴻J38nB418_p0523b09鶴山頭雲五色,龍樓共祝聖明君。」
J38nB418_p0523b10除歲,小參。「年窮歲盡,霜寒風凜;歲盡年窮,雲淨天空。J38nB418_p0523b11直令拾得寒山,滅跡掃蹤,無本可據。」驀拈拄杖,云:「向J38nB418_p0523b12大覺拄杖子上高聲道:『三十日到了也。』汝等還道得J38nB418_p0523b13一句恰好麼?如無,大覺拄杖子不免世諦流布。」卓一J38nB418_p0523b14下,曰:「椎鑼打鼓迎新歲,設饌開樽送舊年。」復舉:「徑山J38nB418_p0523b15南明和尚云:『前年年,鼻孔無半邊;去年年,兩眼不能J38nB418_p0523b16全;今年年,三十精骨獻青天。我禪已說了,諸人作麼J38nB418_p0523b17參?』」師曰:「大、小南明到臘月三十日做手腳,不辦鼻孔、J38nB418_p0523b18眼睛不在面皮上,三百六十骨節節節露出,可憐生J38nB418_p0523b19折合不得。大覺則不然,前年年,水浸烏龜腳踏天;去J38nB418_p0523b20年年,熨斗著油猛火煎;今年年,三腳黑牛仰面看。本J38nB418_p0523b21無佛法可說,諸人甚處加參?更若不會,聽取一頌:無J38nB418_p0523b22地卓錐猶自可,無錐可卓實堪憐,蝸牛角上誇豪富,J38nB418_p0523b23海舶洋商任往還。」
J38nB418_p0523b24元旦,上堂。「歲朝物物總皆新,馬面牛頭賀大平。兩個J38nB418_p0523b25金剛齊拱手,莫教埋沒祖師心。還丹一顆高低遍,溪J38nB418_p0523b26谷巖巒盡是金。」
J38nB418_p0523b27新春,上堂。「寒氣漸消春乍到,鐵樹風前自放花,鞭起J38nB418_p0523b28泥牛耕大地,破沙盆種三斤麻。三斤麻,搓條繩子縛J38nB418_p0523b29煙霞,須彌倒挂海門外,盤石顛頭綻玉葩。」驀豎拄杖,J38nB418_p0523b30云:「大覺拄杖子,當地忽抽芽。」
J38nB418_p0523c01二月旦,示眾。「春到廿五朝,閻浮二月一。塞北與江南,J38nB418_p0523c02寒梅開石壁。風和蘭蕙香,雲煖筍新出。樓閣門大開,J38nB418_p0523c03寥寥望無極。者裏直下了得一,管教平生萬事畢。大J38nB418_p0523c04眾且道:如何是一?土地騎牛月下行,金剛著靴水上J38nB418_p0523c05立。」
J38nB418_p0523c06祈晴,值雪,示眾。「九盡三朝雨,家家食白米,雨後一場J38nB418_p0523c07雪,熟豆又熟麥。今朝正值百花生,樹樹瓊葩開教徹,J38nB418_p0523c08陽春一曲少人和,令人惆悵幾時歇?好大眾,莫憂結,J38nB418_p0523c09且待天晴紅日出。」
J38nB418_p0523c10涅槃日,上堂。「梨花吐白雪之香,柳線垂黃金之色,皆J38nB418_p0523c11是如來清淨寂滅之相。鴻鶴峰巖巒峭峻撐雲出,揚J38nB418_p0523c12子江浩渺洪波動地流,無非紫磨金色之身。佛真玅J38nB418_p0523c13體猶若虛空,亙古今而無一絲可增、遍十方而無一J38nB418_p0523c14毫可滅,今日則有、明日則無,切莫錯會。若謂我佛有J38nB418_p0523c15所涅槃,總是諸人執著取相,虛妄不實。大眾!要會取J38nB418_p0523c16好。」
J38nB418_p0523c17丹徒鎮海潮寺監院遍吼上座懺罪設齋,請上堂。「百J38nB418_p0523c18千法門,同歸方寸;河沙玅德,總在心源。然心源湛寂,J38nB418_p0523c19廓爾圓常,絕慮絕思,無取無捨。愚者不知,妄自繫縛,J38nB418_p0523c20迷心取相,隨想受生,壅積成病。《淨名經》云:『若不隨聲J38nB418_p0523c21色動念,不逐相貌生解,自然無事去。』又曰:『逐物為邪,J38nB418_p0523c22卻物為上。』大凡出家學道,先要把妄想滅盡。妄想既J38nB418_p0523c23滅,雜念不起,一切時、一切處,是非好惡都莫思量,契J38nB418_p0523c24心平等,湛然了了。如是則知心無相、知心不壞、知心J38nB418_p0523c25無取捨、知心無去住、知心不可得、知心無心,即是佛J38nB418_p0523c26心,亦名解脫法身、亦名般若智體、亦名菩提玅道。與J38nB418_p0523c27麼見得徹,無佛可求、無道可學、無福德可聚、無罪業J38nB418_p0523c28可除。所以祖師云:『一切法有,有不自有,自心計作有;J38nB418_p0523c29一切法無,無不自無,自心計作無。』若人自見己之法J38nB418_p0523c30王,即得解脫。法王者,即自己真心也。此個真心,不屬J38nB418_p0524a01陰陽造化、世間一切境界,籠罩不得、繫級不得,又何J38nB418_p0524a02魔何病而可染著哉?山僧與麼告報,固是不得已。若J38nB418_p0524a03實際裏地本無一法可說,遍吼上座於此座下亦無J38nB418_p0524a04一法可聞。既無說無聞,本來空寂。既本來空寂,且道J38nB418_p0524a05將甚麼物懺悔?又將甚麼物求解脫?」拈杖一卓,曰:「還J38nB418_p0524a06會麼?一念不生全體露,碧天雲淨月輪高,石女腰邊J38nB418_p0524a07裁兔角,虛空背上刮龜毛。」
J38nB418_p0524a08示眾。「十五日已前,連旬雨滴石頭穿;十五日已後,桃J38nB418_p0524a09紅映日滿春路。正當十五日,牧童柳岸橫牛背,短笛J38nB418_p0524a10無腔信口吹,狼藉許多西祖意,不知誰解攜將歸?攜J38nB418_p0524a11將歸,攤向街前人不識,和煙搭上玉欄西。」
J38nB418_p0524a12遍吼上座求懺,請上堂。「夫修道之士捨離于一切,大J38nB418_p0524a13凡世間非世間法、語言文字非語言文字法、音聲色J38nB418_p0524a14相非音聲色相,一一不得生染著念、起愛樂心、作執J38nB418_p0524a15持想,空而不空、無而不無,曠然、廓然,蕩蕩無際。於斯J38nB418_p0524a16會得,無罪不懺、無福不生。只如罪滅福生如何受用?」J38nB418_p0524a17良久,云:「清風陣陣來何處?吹得碧桃朵朵開。」
J38nB418_p0524a18天壽聖節,上堂。「乘本願以示生,踞金輪而御極。高懸J38nB418_p0524a19寶鑑,措萬國以陶鈞;密運靈樞,攝大千而布政。今日J38nB418_p0524a20恭逢天壽聖誕,龜龍鱗鳳一時現瑞,賢愚貴賤其慶J38nB418_p0524a21嘉辰。秪如仰祝堯齡一句作麼生道?」驀豎拄杖,曰:「蟠J38nB418_p0524a22桃今日花初放,泰岳松生萬歲枝。」
J38nB418_p0524a23示眾。「今朝四月一,處處花狼藉,紫燕語梁嬌,黃鶯歌J38nB418_p0524a24柳碧,薰風自南來,衲僧得消息。且道是甚麼消息?晝J38nB418_p0524a25長人倦時,忽被蠟蚤咬,背手摸得著,開手不見了。」
J38nB418_p0524a26佛誕日,上堂。「今朝四月八,我佛降生日。九龍沐真軀,J38nB418_p0524a27金蓮承寶足。分手指天地,運行周七步。舉目顧四方,J38nB418_p0524a28大作獅子吼。後來雲門道:『我當時若見,一棒打殺與J38nB418_p0524a29狗子喫,貴圖天下太平。』」師曰:「雲門大師可謂牙根插J38nB418_p0524a30天,舌頭覆地。殊不知事因叮囑起,展轉見淆訛。頌曰:J38nB418_p0524b01可怪雲門老賊精,一杯鴆酒卻傷身。而今流毒天涯J38nB418_p0524b02遍,馬額驢腮也逞能。」
J38nB418_p0524b03普震上座懺罪,請上堂。「心生則種種法生,心滅則種J38nB418_p0524b04種法滅。心逐法為邪,法從心為正。故曰:『心若不異,萬J38nB418_p0524b05法一如。如如之體,了了常知。』若也妄生穿鑿,迷倒之J38nB418_p0524b06盛;若也一念不生,十方坐斷。恁麼薦得,一切罪福皆J38nB418_p0524b07如夢幻。還薦得麼?」揮拂子,云:「真玉泥中異,黃金不博J38nB418_p0524b08沙。」復舉:「三祖為居士時,問二祖曰:『弟子身纏風恙,請J38nB418_p0524b09師懺罪。』」師曰:「刺腦入膠盆。二祖曰:『將罪來,與汝懺。』」師J38nB418_p0524b10曰:「撩鉤撻索。三祖良久,云:『覓罪性了不可得。』」師曰:「家J38nB418_p0524b11貧猶自可,路貧愁殺人。二祖曰:『與汝懺罪竟,宜依佛、J38nB418_p0524b12法、僧住。』」師曰:「昔日少林落節,今朝者裏拔本。三祖曰:J38nB418_p0524b13『今見和尚已知是僧,未審何名佛、法?』」師曰:「隨邪逐惡。J38nB418_p0524b14二祖曰:『是心是佛,是心是法。法、佛無二,僧、寶亦然。』」師J38nB418_p0524b15曰:「熟睡饒寱語。三祖曰:『今日始知罪性不在內、不在J38nB418_p0524b16外、不在中間,如其心焉,佛、法無二。』」師曰:「秤鎚落井。二J38nB418_p0524b17祖器之。」師曰:「大似證龜作鱉。山僧當日若在,見者兩J38nB418_p0524b18個漢恁麼道,好與縛作一團,深掘一坑埋卻。何故?免J38nB418_p0524b19使後人向覓罪、覓心了不可得處作活計。大眾!還與J38nB418_p0524b20麼會麼?更聽頌出:覓無罪性懺無方,雲淨天空月轉J38nB418_p0524b21廊。冰壺擊碎潭無影,太液池翻琥珀漿。」
J38nB418_p0524b22眾請甘露結制,上堂。「結為解之因,解為結之果,解結J38nB418_p0524b23互相承,果因元不錯。前年北固夏有結有解,去年夏J38nB418_p0524b24嘉禾無解無結,今年三處度夏,甘露將期六載。若為J38nB418_p0524b25結卻,山僧即欲退隱巖竇,恐不能為諸人解卻;若不J38nB418_p0524b26結,就諸人一夏空過。且道:結即是?不結即是?」良久,曰:J38nB418_p0524b27「結與不結,總在山僧;解與不解,悉聽首座。」
J38nB418_p0524b28正黃旗高日昇薦考,請對靈小參。「真性心地藏,本無J38nB418_p0524b29向背;虛假不實體,妄有去來。捨身與受身,認影迷途;J38nB418_p0524b30出生而入死,虛受輪轉。只者個靈靈不昧,了了常知,J38nB418_p0524c01直如秋月臨空,清光遍界。正恁麼時,如何是得運高J38nB418_p0524c02公脫死超生的句?」揮拂子,云:「真常清淨界,逍遙何處J38nB418_p0524c03蹤?」

J38nB418_p0524c08彌勒。「十字街頭等個人,今朝者裏剛逢著。大開口了J38nB418_p0524c09笑呵呵,天上人間無兩個。」
J38nB418_p0524c10韋馱。「最後樓至佛,此處現全身。曾受靈山記,黨理莫J38nB418_p0524c11黨親。」
J38nB418_p0524c12佛前。「昔日靈山,今朝勝果,一會儼然,是個甚麼?」
J38nB418_p0524c13據室。「釋迦掩室,特地淆訛。淨名杜口,鬼家活計。少林J38nB418_p0524c14斷臂安心,好不丈夫。黃梅夜半傳衣,殃累不已。行棒J38nB418_p0524c15行喝,抱贓叫屈。奪食軀耕,狐假虎威。開金鎖,撞玉鐘,J38nB418_p0524c16也是當門栽棘。恁麼漢入我門來,頂門更下一錐。須J38nB418_p0524c17知新勝果,過犯彌天。」
J38nB418_p0524c18當日,眾紳士請上堂。拈香祝 聖畢,復拈云:「此瓣香J38nB418_p0524c19不可聞、不可說,自不丈夫落他綣繢,到如今悔之不J38nB418_p0524c20及。第五回拈出供養,先龍興薰天炙地,直教他鼻孔J38nB418_p0524c21缺、腦門裂。」便就座。問答不錄,乃曰:「大人具大機,收來J38nB418_p0524c22放去,掣電驅雷;大智得大用,殺活臨時,七擒八縱。早J38nB418_p0524c23離大覺,足尖迸出玄中要;今到勝果,棒頭點出境中J38nB418_p0524c24人。吼獅子音,野狐腦裂;撾塗毒鼓,魔外魂銷。直得枯J38nB418_p0524c25木龍吟、幽巖虎嘯,鴨腳樹頭懸寶月,全彰古佛家風;J38nB418_p0524c26運漕河畔掛雲幢,揭示祖師心印。船來底、陸來底,總J38nB418_p0524c27教飽餐;南去底、北去底,一任取足。且道:神通玅用?還J38nB418_p0524c28是法爾如然?」卓杖一下,曰:「絲綸在手隨收放,好看金J38nB418_p0524c29鱗上直鉤。」復舉:「南泉和尚初住院,知事、頭首請歸方J38nB418_p0524c30丈,僧問:『師歸丈室,將何指示于人?』泉曰:『昨夜三更失J38nB418_p0525a01卻牛,天明起來失卻火。』」師曰:「南泉秪解信口道:家私J38nB418_p0525a02總被他人看破了也。山僧要且不爾,也無牛可失,亦J38nB418_p0525a03不失卻火。或問:『師歸丈室,將何指示于人?』向他道:『兵J38nB418_p0525a04隨印轉,將逐符行。』」
J38nB418_p0525a05當晚小參。舉:「文殊大士三處度夏:一月長者家、一月J38nB418_p0525a06魔宮、一月婬妨。末後歸世尊會裏解制,迦葉欲白椎J38nB418_p0525a07擯出,乃見百千萬億文殊,世尊曰:『你擬擯那個文殊?』J38nB418_p0525a08迦葉盡其神力,椎不能舉。圓悟和尚曰:『可惜放過。當J38nB418_p0525a09日待世尊與麼道便好一椎,看他如何合煞?』」師曰:「也J38nB418_p0525a10是賊過後張弓。山僧數載住甘露,今夏在浙中博菴,J38nB418_p0525a11十月住大覺,臘月來勝果,且道與文殊三處度夏同J38nB418_p0525a12耶?別耶?若謂同,相去二千七百餘年,文殊自文殊、山J38nB418_p0525a13僧自山僧;若云別,山僧今年歷住三處,似不較異。大J38nB418_p0525a14眾!者裏道得一句恰好,管教步步踏著祖翁田地,不J38nB418_p0525a15妨隨處建立法幢,任緣化導。更聽頌出:閬苑蓬瀛備J38nB418_p0525a16昔遊,歸來仍醉管絃樓,傍觀有理難伸雪,柳巷花街J38nB418_p0525a17得自由。」
J38nB418_p0525a18元旦,上堂。「昨日大覺送舊歲,今朝勝果接新年,送去J38nB418_p0525a19迎來無彼此,幾家愁也幾家歡?」豎起拄杖,曰:「只者木J38nB418_p0525a20上座今年三處度歲,人事總要周備,山前土地忙倒,J38nB418_p0525a21走殺三千羯帝,直得磨笄山軒渠大笑,驚起下方城J38nB418_p0525a22郭拜倒在地。勝果夜夢不祥……」以杖作書字勢,云:「書門J38nB418_p0525a23大吉。」
J38nB418_p0525a24元宵,上堂。「一燈正明,內外洞徹;千燈互照,遍界光騰。J38nB418_p0525a25輝兮煌兮,覺悟猶迷;皎兮潔兮,似是還非。觀之則光J38nB418_p0525a26明廓達,握之則儀表希微。無明生也,馬走千山而不J38nB418_p0525a27輟;煩惱息也,猿停捉影之驅馳。三世諸佛、歷代祖師J38nB418_p0525a28總在燈光裏行住坐臥,無量劫來賞玩不已。勝果今J38nB418_p0525a29日當斯雪晴月冷之際,又怎敢被蓋囊藏?」拈拂子畫J38nB418_p0525a30[○@∴]相,云:「還見麼?瑩瑩洞括無偏正,世上何人看得親?」
J38nB418_p0525b01正黃旗拖沙哈哈番李良棟護法并甘露各房耆舊J38nB418_p0525b02及新河眾居士請住珠林寶閣,辭眾,上堂。「冰稜上走J38nB418_p0525b03馬,劍刃上翻身,涉奇行險,全無憑據。晴空裏閃電,白J38nB418_p0525b04日下挑燈,聰智之士目擊心非,與麼顛蹶,豈謂良謀?J38nB418_p0525b05今幸叢林得人,深遂養拙之志。更聽一偈:五住名藍J38nB418_p0525b06十八春,六年京口頗艱辛,匡宗有愧輸前哲,處世無J38nB418_p0525b07才懶乞鄰。老我幻軀霜刺鬢,慚荒道業病魔身,幸從J38nB418_p0525b08卑願棲巖竇,飲霧餐松鶴鹿親。」
J38nB418_p0525b09師退靜甘露珠林寶閣,遍吼上座,求懺開示,請陞座。J38nB418_p0525b10「真心無相,罪福何由造作。至道無形,生死本無建立。J38nB418_p0525b11恁麼會得,罪業不懺而自除,死生不離而自了。昔世J38nB418_p0525b12尊會下有五百比丘,得四禪定、具五神通,未得法忍。J38nB418_p0525b13各各自見往昔殺父害母及諸重罪,於自心中各各J38nB418_p0525b14懷疑,于甚深法不能證入。於是文殊承佛神力,手執J38nB418_p0525b15利劍持逼如來。世尊謂文殊曰:『住住,不應作逆,勿得J38nB418_p0525b16害吾。吾必被害,為善被害。文殊師利!從本以來無有J38nB418_p0525b17我人,於自心內見有我人,自心起時吾必被害,即名J38nB418_p0525b18為害。』於是五百比丘自見本心如夢如幻,如夢幻中J38nB418_p0525b19見無我人,乃至能生所生父母。於是異口同聲讚歎J38nB418_p0525b20曰:『文殊大智師,深達法源底。自手握利劍,持逼如來J38nB418_p0525b21身。如劍佛亦爾,一相無有二。無相無所生,是中云何J38nB418_p0525b22殺?』」師曰:「世尊被文殊持劍相逼,直得三百六十骨節,J38nB418_p0525b23八萬四千毛孔,一齊拋下。若非五百比丘見義勇為,J38nB418_p0525b24假饒文殊有拔山之能,怎見掃蹤滅跡。檢點將來,好J38nB418_p0525b25各與三十拄杖。」僧問:「茲蒙和尚懺悔開示,罪業向甚J38nB418_p0525b26麼處去?」師曰:「阿鼻大地獄。」曰:「恁麼是懺悔耶?」師曰:「猛J38nB418_p0525b27火著油煎。」傍有僧曰:「和尚為汝得與麼徹。」師打曰:「者J38nB418_p0525b28就是多觜夜叉。」曰:「和尚也須防著好。」師曰:「近前來,向J38nB418_p0525b29你道。」僧近前,師驀面唾。
