據室。「此是介師翁開大爐鞴運大鉗鎚生煆佛祖J38nB418_p0496c06烹龍象之所三十年獨坐單提不動本際魔軍自息J38nB418_p0496c07新金明既為他兒孫敢道跨灶騎鑪?」拈拄杖一卓J38nB418_p0496c08任是銅頭鐵額到來也須按過。」僧問:「和尚入院之初J38nB418_p0496c09有何垂示?」師曰:「佛祖點額。」:「斬新條令又如何?」師曰J38nB418_p0496c10喝起青天三十棒。」:「秪如銅頭鐵額漢到來如何勘J38nB418_p0496c11?」師便打僧一喝師直打出又僧出師亦打僧纔開J38nB418_p0496c12師曰:「驢前馬後漢。」直棒打出

即日上堂。「諸佛慧命列祖心宗覿面提持一肩擔荷J38nB418_p0496c14撾毒鼓于機前振鴻鈞于未兆顯出衲僧巴鼻豁開J38nB418_p0496c15向上重關此猶是古人行履未是越格超宗大眾會J38nB418_p0496c16?」驀拈拄杖卓一卓:「者裏會得臨濟三玄洞山五J38nB418_p0496c17位是甚麼閒家具若欲克復嘉猷挽回末運直須一J38nB418_p0496c18踏鴻門開兩扇雍雍氣樂寰區。」

當晚小參。「跨灶騎鑪方稱作者就中取則有辱先宗J38nB418_p0496c20若是獅子兒奮踞地威縱有牙如劍樹口似血盆J38nB418_p0496c21者裏不罄身而逃則望崖而退具恁般作略方可全J38nB418_p0496c22提向上直指真宗捩轉乾坤掀翻海岳始見皇風成J38nB418_p0496c23一片更於何處覓封疆?」

示眾僧問:「學人初參請師指個徑路。」師曰:「此去杭州J38nB418_p0496c25二百二。」:「不問者個路。」師曰:「水陸不增多。」乃曰:「者著J38nB418_p0496c26子本自現成是你無始習氣耽著不捨日深日厚J38nB418_p0496c27增顛倒致使流浪迷途若是血性漢懸崖撒手一撲J38nB418_p0496c28到底待甦醒來睜開眼另是一般境界有恁麼人麼?」J38nB418_p0496c29良久:「啼得血流無用處不如緘口過殘春。」

端節示眾。「今朝五月五日輪大如斗照破五須彌J38nB418_p0497a04若顛倒走驚起桃符神撞破帝釋口。」拈拄杖作舞J38nB418_p0497a05山僧拄杖子忍俊不禁隨例打筋斗。」喝一喝:「J38nB418_p0497a06不可莽鹵。」

七夕示眾。「今夜七月七家家收巧喫金風來樹杪J38nB418_p0497a11涼生兩腋。」拈拂子召眾曰:「看看夏末便是秋初J38nB418_p0497a12者宜須保護未悟者猛著精彩時節既到其理自彰J38nB418_p0497a13且作麼生是自彰的理一片蠡湖波底月巧雲穿作J38nB418_p0497a14花蝴蝶等閒雲淨碧天寬四海五湖光皎潔。」

往建寧府普明寺途中除歲示眾。「大盡三十日小盡J38nB418_p0497a16二十九東村王老化紙錢衲僧鞋破赤腳走無位真J38nB418_p0497a17人面門斑踏殺南山白額虎大地山河乞命萬象森J38nB418_p0497a18羅叫苦大眾還識無位真人麼急須努力向前行J38nB418_p0497a19有東君隨步武。」

到泉州府崇福寺請上堂。「為訪知音涉閩巔相逢喜J38nB418_p0497a21氣動崇山波濤萬丈從天瀉流出分明蠡水源。」拈杖J38nB418_p0497a22召眾:「有者道寸步不移觀大千界如視諸掌有者J38nB418_p0497a23不越戶閫天下知識一時相見檢點將來多虛不J38nB418_p0497a24如少實山僧披寒暑涉山川親到崇福與我希覺法J38nB418_p0497a25兄高談不啻絕倒今日客聽主裁借令行權與諸人J38nB418_p0497a26花劈去也。」卓杖一下:「真寂湛圓常光獨露潔如滄J38nB418_p0497a27海之珠朗似碧天之月既高且堅鑽仰莫及者裏會J38nB418_p0497a28顯大機發大用豎放橫拈無不自在所以道似地J38nB418_p0497a29擎山而不知孤峻如石含玉而不知無瑕且弟兄相J38nB418_p0497a30見的事又作麼生?」以杖畫[○@║]:「攜手同堂云底事J38nB418_p0497b01無邊清韻動山河。」

到建寧柘浦龍珍寺覺圓法兄端節請上堂拈拄杖J38nB418_p0497b03:「拄杖子𨁝跳上三十三天撞著娑竭龍王撲在金J38nB418_p0497b04剛際下顛落帝釋花冠毘沙門王報道:『恰是人間端J38nB418_p0497b05節日天津橋上有此奇特。』未審諸人還見拄杖子落J38nB418_p0497b06處麼山中有客見真虎塵內何人識臥龍?」

出隊歸示眾。「住院理破垣出隊頂破笠計較總一般J38nB418_p0497b08人生何改易暑去寒來春復秋光陰打算如瞬息J38nB418_p0497b09道無位真人還有改易麼?」拈拄杖卓一卓:「者裏會J38nB418_p0497b10一生參學事畢。」

示眾。「金明雖處城市實足山林意況蠡水似鏡雉堞J38nB418_p0497b12如山篆竹漪然風搖千竿翠色青榆掩映鳥翻萬樹J38nB418_p0497b13金錢每對花晨月夜優游絕勝人間諸人既到者裏J38nB418_p0497b14彼此切莫相瞞一朝一夕一月一年直到大休大歇J38nB418_p0497b15無事不辦。」

示眾。「三十餘年住子胡二時粥飯氣力粗每日上山J38nB418_p0497b17三兩轉問汝諸人會也無子胡只住個院子如此勞J38nB418_p0497b18筋動骨太煞週遮山僧則不然自住金明四五年J38nB418_p0497b19非穿鑿不相干饑則食倦則眠從來不會老婆禪。」

示眾。「識得拄杖子行腳事畢汾陽與麼道大似推人J38nB418_p0497b21落井若向拄杖子上作活錯過不少。」驀拈杖召眾曰J38nB418_p0497b22還識得麼到江吳地盡隔岸越山多。」

示眾。「若論此事實無下口處金明只得向第二門與J38nB418_p0497b24諸人扭捏看。」驀搖手:「!」

示眾。「三塔塘之東五龍橋之北有個漁翁髮白齒黑J38nB418_p0497b26泛一葉扁舟絲綸在握有時隨放隨收一任魚龍跳J38nB418_p0497b27。」拈拄杖作釣勢:「不是金鱗枉上鉤。」

示眾剛坐下便云:「早是錯了也。」便入方丈一僧入問J38nB418_p0497b29和尚一言未發便道錯了未審和尚錯大眾錯?」師曰J38nB418_p0497b30你若識得者兩錯粉骨碎身。」僧曰:「謝師證明。」師曰:「J38nB418_p0497c01!」

立秋示眾。「有則現成公案諸人總知只恐錯會。」良久J38nB418_p0497c03擲下拂子:「一葉落天下秋。」

因事示眾。「法社垂秋人不跟道古佛地總為販賣賭J38nB418_p0497c05賻之所說法處盡成葷酒淫污之場或有一個半個J38nB418_p0497c06少奉戒行便乃不合時宜金明不是檢點諸方只要J38nB418_p0497c07諸人知此利害倘操道心深自不蹈他故轍諸仁者J38nB418_p0497c08莫事門庭熱鬧打哄過日直須田地穩密莫被情塵J38nB418_p0497c09惑動朝夕精勤惟道是務莫到臨末梢頭做手腳J38nB418_p0497c10辦他時悔之晚矣莫言不道。」

示眾:「汾陽十智同真問答徑山杲曰:『汾陽末後若J38nB418_p0497c12無個面目現在一場敗缺雖然如是喪我兒孫。』喝一J38nB418_p0497c13。」師曰:「徑山多處添少處減汾陽只為末後有個面J38nB418_p0497c14所以一場敗缺金明不惜唇齒為汝翻轉面皮。」J38nB418_p0497c15拄杖下座

示眾:「寶應昭云:『寶應門風險入者喪全身作麼生J38nB418_p0497c17是出身一句若道不得三十年後。』石源雲曰:『寶應自J38nB418_p0497c18救不了。』」師曰:「石門道:『寶應自救不了。』是有出身路麼J38nB418_p0497c19諸人會取三十年後的。」

示眾:「雲門欽上堂良久曰:『好個話頭若到諸方J38nB418_p0497c21得錯舉。』便下座。」師曰:「雲門舉揚個事如九轉丹砂J38nB418_p0497c22方不錯舉者能有幾人?」

示眾:「興陽鐸僧問:『佛界與眾生界相去多少?』興曰J38nB418_p0497c24道不得。』:『真個那?』興曰:『有些子。』」師曰:「興陽有殺人刀J38nB418_p0497c25無活人劍。」

示眾:「僧問靈泉:『如何是和尚活計?』泉曰:『一物也無。』J38nB418_p0497c27:『未審日用何物?』泉便喝僧作禮泉便打。」師曰:「者則J38nB418_p0497c28公案大有人不肯靈泉金明要斷不平可惜拄杖子J38nB418_p0497c29不在手。」

示眾:「雲峰悅因僧問:『如何是心地法門?』峰曰:『不從J38nB418_p0498a01人得。』:『不從人得時如何?』峰曰:『此去衡陽不遠。』」師曰J38nB418_p0498a02雲峰道心地法門不從人得畢竟從甚麼處得?」

示眾:「白雲端因僧問:『一喝分賓主照用一齊行J38nB418_p0498a04此二途請師別道。』雲便喝僧曰:『從來疑著和尚。』雲便J38nB418_p0498a05僧曰:『作家宗師。』雲曰:『也不消得。』僧禮拜。」師曰:「白雲J38nB418_p0498a06全提正令者僧向猛虎口中分肉毒龍頷下探珠J38nB418_p0498a07明只可坐觀成敗。」

示眾:「黃龍心與夏倚公立談肇論》,至黃龍曰:『何常J38nB418_p0498a09會萬物為自?』及瑞巖拈畢。」師曰:「黃龍力能揮張毒J38nB418_p0498a10不知格外提持夏公途路短販且喜親到寶山J38nB418_p0498a11巖雖是扶弱濟危怎出得公立問頭然雖如是還我J38nB418_p0498a12無情意來何故從前汗馬無人識只要重論蓋代功。」

示眾:「黃龍心云:『粗言及細語皆歸第一義你者隊J38nB418_p0498a14尿床鬼子三生六十劫也未夢見第一義在。』」師曰:「J38nB418_p0498a15龍提持第一義如高祖入關中。」

示眾:「如翁申因僧問:『如何是佛法大意?』翁曰:『周歲J38nB418_p0498a17孩兒打花鼓。』:『阿誰證明?』翁曰:『古廟香爐也不會。』便J38nB418_p0498a18石源雲曰:『如翁太煞傷慈廣福即不然有問:「如何J38nB418_p0498a19是佛法大意?」向他道:「八十翁翁入場屋。」』」師曰:「如翁正J38nB418_p0498a20眼有在未審者僧還會古廟香爐麼大眾秖如石門J38nB418_p0498a21八十翁翁入場屋意在如何欲窮千里目更上一J38nB418_p0498a22層樓。」

示眾僧問:「如何是金明境?」師曰:「佛閣高蠡湖深。」:「J38nB418_p0498a24何是境中人?」師曰:「我有時用拄杖有時不用拄杖。」J38nB418_p0498a25人境蒙指示向上事如何?」師曰:「待汝踢倒醉李亭J38nB418_p0498a26也不遲。」迺曰:「範蠡湖頭秋色高水光徹底火雲燒J38nB418_p0498a27蘿村畔霞生樹繡出鴛鴦一所橋風颯颯水潦潦J38nB418_p0498a28限幽懷思轉饒坐久聲沉新月上光輝皎皎透雲霄。」J38nB418_p0498a29中秋示眾舉百丈西堂南泉侍馬祖玩月因緣師曰J38nB418_p0498a30馬師父子一回相見可謂金聲玉振千古之下聲光J38nB418_p0498b01猶在檢點將來大似寒儒詐富烏藤有分何故若無J38nB418_p0498b02超方作怎得到今朝?」

示眾:「拗牛祖因僧參祖橫按拄杖曰:『入門即錯J38nB418_p0498b04入亦錯。』僧無對祖便打又僧參祖如前問僧曰:『合取J38nB418_p0498b05狗口。』祖拈棒曰:『令合是汝行權借一半。』便打。」師曰:「J38nB418_p0498b06門即錯不入亦錯小乘錢貫大乘井索。」

重九示眾。「今日重陽節淵明酒興狂採菊東籬下J38nB418_p0498b08笑發幽香山僧不會先賢意三嗅寒香立晚陽。」

示眾:「高峰上堂豎拂云:『到者裏進前一步也不得J38nB418_p0498b10退後一步也不得總不恁麼也不得畢竟如何不得J38nB418_p0498b11不得?』」師曰:「高峰用盡九牛之力只是轉身不得金明J38nB418_p0498b12與古人抖筋抖骨不為分外。」豎拂子召眾曰:「金明者J38nB418_p0498b13進前一步也得退後一步也得總不恁麼亦得J38nB418_p0498b14竟如何得得?」

龍興和尚忌日拈香。「一自巾瓶後倏焉十四秋始知J38nB418_p0498b16墮馬腹更不問來由今日重相見又添多少愁華峰J38nB418_p0498b17與碧雲八載意綢繆大眾如何是相見底事?」拈香J38nB418_p0498b18者個還當得麼?」燒香:「長憶江南三月裏杜鵑啼血J38nB418_p0498b19染枝頭。」

示眾。「金明與諸人道破只是不得錯會達磨祖師直J38nB418_p0498b21指人心見性成佛賺殺一船人。」

晚參上堂。「虛玄大道體全彰物物頭頭盡顯揚海月J38nB418_p0498c29湖天空闊處珊珊翠竹倚斜陽千門萬戶重重透J38nB418_p0498c30事雙融絕較量諸仁者謾揣詳祖翁一片閒田地J38nB418_p0499a01孫永劫受餘殃。」拈拂子畫[○@、]:「到者裏也須汗流J38nB418_p0499a02浹背始得。」

示眾:「雲門道:『平地上死人無數出得荊棘林是好J38nB418_p0499a04。』有僧云:『恁麼則堂中第一座有長處。』門云:『蘇嚕蘇J38nB418_p0499a05。』東山演祖云:『太平即不然平地上個個丈夫荊棘J38nB418_p0499a06林裏坐得的是好手何故?』復云:『。』金明又不然平地J38nB418_p0499a07上活潑潑荊棘林中灑落落未是好手。」以杖劃一劃J38nB418_p0499a08:「者裏透得過方堪共語。」

示眾。「九月池荷盡西風入骨寒東籬無限意霜冷怯J38nB418_p0499a10衣單三兩個衲子優游鴛水邊漁艇驚鶴起翔集去J38nB418_p0499a11翩翩若問歸來日那邊休夏者裏過年?」良久:「蒼天J38nB418_p0499a12蒼天。」

普請搬瓦次師拈起一片瓦示眾曰:「一大藏教只說J38nB418_p0499a14者個。」時有僧亦拈瓦云:「一大藏教不說者個。」師曰:「J38nB418_p0499a15與不說只消一文錢。」僧曰:「半文亦不值。」師曰:「山僧今J38nB418_p0499a16日折本也。」僧微笑師歸示眾曰:「雲門普請搬柴金明J38nB418_p0499a17普請搬瓦不說一大藏教只要諸人放得下眾中有J38nB418_p0499a18放得下者麼?」眾無語師拈拄杖一時打退歸方丈

示眾:「南泉云:『文殊普賢昨夜三更起佛見法見J38nB418_p0499a20與二十棒貶向二鐵圍山。』金明則不然有起佛見J38nB418_p0499a21明窗淨几安頓珍饈供養何故此一時彼一時。」

示眾:「六祖因青原問:『當何所務即不落階級?』祖曰J38nB418_p0502a26汝曾作甚麼來?』:『聖諦亦不為。』:『落何階級?』:『聖諦J38nB418_p0502a27尚不為何階級之有?』祖器之。」師頌曰:「金鼎龍蟠煙篆J38nB418_p0502a28劫前露出垢衣身堂堂不坐琉璃殿豈惜東宮百J38nB418_p0502a29寶珍?」

示眾。「心本是佛道不用修何更騎驢覓驢心不是佛J38nB418_p0502b01智不是道擬議白雲萬里者裏會得物我同觀倘或J38nB418_p0502b02不爾徒勞話會。」邑宰沈克齋問:「智不到處作麼生?」J38nB418_p0502b03喚沈公沈應諾師曰:「頭角露也。」

邑宰屠尹和薦男素申請對靈小參師揮拂子云:「J38nB418_p0502b05從無相中受生猶如幻出諸形像幻人心識本來無J38nB418_p0502b06罪福皆空無所住心識既無罪福悉空且喚甚麼作J38nB418_p0502b07無相?」驀豎拂子云:「鯨吞海水盡露出珊瑚枝。」

普說。「貓有歃血之功虎有起屍之德善知識一言半J38nB418_p0502b17句實有起死回生之力翻窠倒臼之施若無如是作J38nB418_p0502b18即是弄泥團底漢昔南明祖掩關興善有持禪關J38nB418_p0502b19策進書至祖展閱于無字話上凝然撲之不散捏之J38nB418_p0502b20不聚欲罷不能覺得此身遍滿堂宇盡乾坤世界總J38nB418_p0502b21是一個無字行住坐臥穿衣喫飯總是一個無字J38nB418_p0502b22如寒來暑往鵲噪鴉鳴亦皆是一個無字間有賓朋J38nB418_p0502b23候問概不與焉車溪沖和尚聞有真實志親到關前J38nB418_p0502b24勘驗祖將從前工夫一一舉似溪應聲跌足曰:『悔我J38nB418_p0502b25來遲向後縱欲到此不易得也。』蓋師資一言相契J38nB418_p0502b26身許可及祖啟關往謁服勤八載大眾你看者個道J38nB418_p0502b27理畢竟有何區分淆訛在甚麼處前車溪扣關相見J38nB418_p0502b28聞其語則應聲跌足肯可矣何機竅相投而在八J38nB418_p0502b29年之後此非細事乃敢草草在師家須盡鉗錘以陶J38nB418_p0502b30鑄學者重重洗拭使其立錐無地直使索索然不存J38nB418_p0502c01一毫微見若有一毫佛法繫于胸中即是生死根株J38nB418_p0502c02所謂師嚴而道尊在學者要假爐鞴鉗錘惡辣如迅J38nB418_p0502c03電疾雷轉眼不得無處吐氣恁麼也不得不恁麼也J38nB418_p0502c04不得恁麼不恁麼總不得直下如大火聚近前不得J38nB418_p0502c05到與麼時忽被師家頂門一針始解㘞地一聲通身J38nB418_p0502c06汗下向所疑者如日消冰似湯沃雪纔到大休大歇J38nB418_p0502c07田地然後拈一機則千機萬機寢削舉一句則千句J38nB418_p0502c08萬句朝宗放去收來隨機生殺古人到者裏尚封鏡J38nB418_p0502c09封醬腳下兒孫以致脫穎而出又普明用和尚參究J38nB418_p0502c10此事首親南祖次謁車溪得最上工夫後侍南祖一J38nB418_p0502c11十三載不離左右一日在徑山禪堂閱思益梵天經J38nB418_p0502c12有省即呈無生偈曰:『鐵壁銀山誰敢摧賊身驀地J38nB418_p0502c13拶將來相看原是舊相識當下慚惶笑臉開。』又曰:『J38nB418_p0502c14劫多年窮苦事風光留得到今朝笙歌車馬門如市J38nB418_p0502c15內院依然鎖寂寥。』南祖閱之痛加訶叱何也恐普明J38nB418_p0502c16得少為足站住腳跟故痛處加艾頂門示針俾知臨J38nB418_p0502c17濟一宗道出常情及至師資緣熟特舉獨腳偈普明J38nB418_p0502c18於言下頓契微旨披閱蘊奧點首下淚則知恩大難J38nB418_p0502c19假呈偈日南祖就與冬瓜印子安得有此境界J38nB418_p0502c20禪德你看古人為此事親近師家十餘年朝參暮請J38nB418_p0502c21刻刻提撕無論師家學人扭作一團如冤家對頭相J38nB418_p0502c22開交不得必要討個分明如是久久磨煉自然水J38nB418_p0502c23到渠成心花頓現頭頭合轍法法圓通掉臂欬唾J38nB418_p0502c24非大用現前雖然要是其人一等倚草附木不但受J38nB418_p0502c25此鉗錘纔學依樣葫蘆黑殼本上攢措幾句說話J38nB418_p0502c26求付囑其餘涅槃心差別智一千個五百雙不會J38nB418_p0502c27在師家總因道眼不明而自誤誤人師家道眼果明J38nB418_p0502c28鉗錘不凡此輩如藥汞銀入煆則流矣況大法乎J38nB418_p0502c29諸方希徒門庭熱鬧只要多散幾柄拂子以致宗風J38nB418_p0502c30掃地汝等既到金明不問晚學初機參要真參證要J38nB418_p0503a01實證看話頭即如限糧刻敵古德云:『暫時不在如同J38nB418_p0503a02死人。』且道暫時不在的是個甚麼者裏一拶粉碎J38nB418_p0503a03起便行若是咬定矢橛不能轉換他日鐵蛇鑽你鼻J38nB418_p0503a04孔有分在莫言不道。」
