靈峰達變禪師語錄敘
J29nB248_p0795a02大道雖曰現成,然非苦心精研者莫克證入;至理繇J29nB248_p0795a03來平坦,然非鐵骨負荷者未易傳持。是以少室安心,J29nB248_p0795a04必待立雪斷臂之子;而黃梅大眾,惟腰石負舂者入J29nB248_p0795a05室稟受,為六傳冢嫡。後世以輕慢心妄窺籓籬,幾何J29nB248_p0795a06不抉滅門戶,使吾宗掃地哉?先德知其然,驗以牢固J29nB248_p0795a07重關、示以嶮崖千仞、投以大火聚、攝以銕壁銀山,受J29nB248_p0795a08此任者不啻千二百斤擔子。又如挂鎧出門與萬人J29nB248_p0795a09敵,凡以平坦成現之道,不如是不足以盡其閫奧而J29nB248_p0795a10窮其首尾。當吾世而得一勤苦進道、慎重法命之人,J29nB248_p0795a11是真叢林之僧寶、法社之金城也。吾于靈峰達變禪J29nB248_p0795a12師深有感焉。師少侍先天童,椎拂即稱英衲,後乃得J29nB248_p0795a13法于山翁老人,老人常稱學眾中參究精銳無逾師J29nB248_p0795a14者。于師承邊溫研積稔,昕夕摩厲,或拈頌機緣,一言J29nB248_p0795a15未契,至忘寢食,必求得當而後已。同學扣擊,寸長不J29nB248_p0795a16遺,參徒請益,雖祁寒溽暑不倦也。盍其嚴毅服物,類J29nB248_p0795a17秀鐵面;脫落形骸,類廣無心;草衣菲食,清苦鍊行,類J29nB248_p0795a18象骨頭陀;典司眾務,罔懈參承,類石霜監寺。故即其J29nB248_p0795a19升堂、提唱,悉皆嶄截提持,雄深峭拔,垂手為人處不J29nB248_p0795a20失作家體裁。佛祖血脈,及盡玄微;衲子爪牙,通身透J29nB248_p0795a21露。洵傑出英靈,純鋼鑄就者耶!是以老人當師入室,J29nB248_p0795a22而有門人益親之喜;及師順世,而盡然傷懷,謂天喪J29nB248_p0795a23予。今復收拾遺錄,為師點出末後光明,豈惟師一生J29nB248_p0795a24苦心賴以不墜?殆亦憫斯道之荒落,示後流之標榜。J29nB248_p0795a25老人鼓舞來學之意,極深厚矣。嗟乎!報緣影事,修短J29nB248_p0795a26一期,雖法鼓晨裂,流星夜隕,而衲僧門下,一言半句,J29nB248_p0795a27胸襟流出,匝地普天。是錄既行世,必有環中契旨,言J29nB248_p0795a28外知歸者,師其不亡矣夫!

J29nB248_p0795b04佛殿。「釋迦是長兄,彌勒是同學,互換主賓,遞相酬醋。J29nB248_p0795b05今朝正令既當行。」展坐具,云:「請看當陽者一著。」
J29nB248_p0795b06伽藍。「伽藍真宰,護世、出世;輔弼叢林,辨魔、揀異。相與J29nB248_p0795b07建法幢,莫負靈山記。」
J29nB248_p0795b08祖堂。「拈華一脈,直至如今,如水入水、似金博金。祖祖J29nB248_p0795b09相承無別事,三玄戈甲振叢林。」
J29nB248_p0795b10據室。「據此室,行此令,秉吹毛劍,握大圓鏡,斬釘截銕J29nB248_p0795b11不容情,從教魔佛聖凡來乞命。為甚如此?祇貴印印J29nB248_p0795b12無差,機機圓證。」
J29nB248_p0795b13四眾請就本寺開堂。拈疏。「言言見諦,句句超宗,珠回J29nB248_p0795b14玉轉,行布圓融。文彩未彰前薦得,密移一步看飛龍。」J29nB248_p0795b15提法衣。「多子塔前親付授,黃梅室內為傳持,自從盧J29nB248_p0795b16老收歸後,須信人人總有之。彩霞簇,錦縫奇,一肩荷J29nB248_p0795b17負更繇誰?千古萬古作標格,猶待當來彌勒披。」
J29nB248_p0795b18法座。「此座從來高廣,佛祖次第出興,箇箇揚塵播土,J29nB248_p0795b19攪得海沸波騰,今日千差坐斷,從教八面風清。」
J29nB248_p0795b20拈香。「此一瓣香,諸佛不知,鬼神莫測,非陰陽之所生,J29nB248_p0795b21豈鋒刀之能剋?熱向爐中,端為供養正覺世間主、有J29nB248_p0795b22情世間主、器世間主,伏願玅德尊寰宇,高明朗太虛,J29nB248_p0795b23金輪統御四天下,兵氣銷為日月光,但見皇風成一J29nB248_p0795b24片,不知何處有封疆?」次拈云:「此一瓣香,根盤空劫,葉J29nB248_p0795b25覆穹蒼,亙今亙古,為瑞為祥,奉為文經武緯,貴胤功J29nB248_p0795b26勛,伏願靈機弘聖道,真智利群生,旁分帝化為傳持,J29nB248_p0795b27玅印手持三界靜。」復拈云:「此一瓣香,廿年參請,辛勤J29nB248_p0795b28曉夜,孜孜切切,初於天童得名,後於靈峰得地,累次J29nB248_p0795b29親遭毒手,幾翻絕後再穌,直得骨露皮穿,不敢囊藏J29nB248_p0795b30被蓋,端為供養即此堂上山翁大和尚,用酬法乳之J29nB248_p0795c01恩。」遂斂衣敷坐。維那白椎,云:「法筵龍象眾,當觀第一J29nB248_p0795c02義。」師云:「驀然一擊如雷吼,驚得虛空開笑口,萬象森J29nB248_p0795c03羅齊點首,明明歷歷太分剖。還有知音者麼?不妨共J29nB248_p0795c04相證明。」僧問:「歸根得旨即不問,斬新條令事如何?」師J29nB248_p0795c05云:「萬人遐仰處,紅日正當空。」進云:「恁麼則龍得水時J29nB248_p0795c06添意氣,虎逢山色長威獰。」師云:「玅舞應須誇遍拍,三J29nB248_p0795c07臺須是大家催。」僧便喝,師云:「且放過一著。」僧復喝兩J29nB248_p0795c08喝,師云:「三喝、四喝後又作麼生?」僧遂歸眾。問:「昔日寶J29nB248_p0795c09壽開堂,三聖推出一僧,壽便打,意旨如何?」師云:「正令J29nB248_p0795c10當行。」進云:「既然如是,因甚三聖又道:『瞎卻鎮州一城J29nB248_p0795c11人眼去在?』」師云:「疑殺天下人。」進云:「今日新靈峰陞座,J29nB248_p0795c12也不用棒、也不瞎卻人眼,畢竟將何為人?」師云:「一句J29nB248_p0795c13迥開三要印,爍迦眼出透金塵。」進云:「人平不語,水平J29nB248_p0795c14不流。」師云:「賴得闍黎領話。」僧便喝,師便打,乃云:「十方J29nB248_p0795c15同聚會,明明古佛家風;遍界絕遮攔,處處祖師巴鼻。J29nB248_p0795c16樓閣雲中僧世界,栴檀海岸老叢林,金風起而枯木J29nB248_p0795c17龍吟,霜葉凋而寒嵒華散。林間鳥語共唱無生,嶺上J29nB248_p0795c18猿聲深譚般若,落落風清三佛地,溶溶月朗四明州。J29nB248_p0795c19直得人人頂門上輝大寶光,各各腳跟下縱橫十字,J29nB248_p0795c20果是超方作者,豁開正眼圓明,便乃透過百匝千重,J29nB248_p0795c21不妨任意橫三豎四。如是,則念念靈山出世,步步兜J29nB248_p0795c22率下生,分別現曼殊之心,運用動普賢之行,頭頭引J29nB248_p0795c23歸寶所,味味盡是醍醐,然後以金剛劍剪除異見稠J29nB248_p0795c24林,斷貫索穿盡衲僧鼻孔,梯航三有,津濟四生,堪報J29nB248_p0795c25不報之恩,共助無為之化。正當恁麼時,流通正脈、扶J29nB248_p0795c26豎綱宗一句又作麼生道?寶藏撥開於此日,千燈五J29nB248_p0795c27葉轉光新。」復舉:「興化和尚云:『三聖道:「逢人即不出,出J29nB248_p0795c28則便為人。」興化則不然,逢人即出,出則不為人。』雪嵒J29nB248_p0795c29欽云:『二大老所謂一條拄杖兩人舁,被天寧拗作兩J29nB248_p0795c30橛了也。』以拄杖倚左邊,云:『且聽各自平分。』」師云:「欽祖J29nB248_p0796a01幸然拗折,今日不肖兒孫未免更將鸞膠為伊續起,J29nB248_p0796a02逢人即出、逢人不出,兩彩一賽,如箭中的。金鳳銜華J29nB248_p0796a03下彩樓,眼裏瞳人吹觱栗,三臺須是大家催,無限清J29nB248_p0796a04風生八極。」白椎,云:「諦觀法王法,法王法如是。」卓拄杖J29nB248_p0796a05一下,下座。
J29nB248_p0796a06勉參。「靈峰寺裏開爐,炭墼家常儘有,更賴現前兄弟,J29nB248_p0796a07竭力同心出手。輕輕撥動火柴頭,烈燄亙天射牛斗,J29nB248_p0796a08冷灰豆爆忽雷轟,叢林盡作師子吼。斷送生蛇化活J29nB248_p0796a09龍,差排古佛離窠臼,無賓主句火爐頭,笑他趙老揚J29nB248_p0796a10家醜。後來雪嵒欽又云:『不冷不熱爐鞴,半真半假金J29nB248_p0796a11鋀,鑄作缾盤釵釧,卻成品字柴頭。』且道:與趙州無賓J29nB248_p0796a12主話相去多少?若向者裏緇素得出,二大老性命在J29nB248_p0796a13諸仁手裏;若緇素不出,諸仁性命卻在山僧手裏。」卓J29nB248_p0796a14拄杖,云:「還委悉麼?莫向白雲深處坐,好看千嶂起風J29nB248_p0796a15雷。」
J29nB248_p0796a16開爐,上堂。「烹佛烹祖大爐鞴,量等虛空包法界;煆凡J29nB248_p0796a17煆聖惡鉗錘,千手大悲亦皺眉。鈍銕頑銅銷爍盡,精J29nB248_p0796a18金美玉轉新奇,烈燄不容蚊蚋泊,何妨就裏走神龜?J29nB248_p0796a19把住則乾坤陡黑,放行則電卷風馳,頂門煆出金剛J29nB248_p0796a20眼,炟赫光明徹四維。所以道:般若如大火聚、般若如J29nB248_p0796a21清涼池,熾然大用,寂爾無為,洞然明白,何假思惟?縱J29nB248_p0796a22橫自在,得大總持。山僧如斯告報,祇貴直下知歸,直J29nB248_p0796a23饒與麼會得,更須知有向上全提。且道:如何是全提J29nB248_p0796a24底意旨?」豎起拂子,云:「無邊虛空包不住,直透威音那J29nB248_p0796a25畔前。」復舉:「死心和尚挾起火示僧,云:『喚作火則燒殺J29nB248_p0796a26你,不喚作火則凍殺你。』今日試問諸仁:向者裏作麼J29nB248_p0796a27生回避?如回避不得,不妨與諸仁通箇消息。」遂頌云:J29nB248_p0796a28「燒殺凍殺,卒難回避,擬議纔生,腦門著地。勸人除卻J29nB248_p0796a29是非難,點銕化成金即易,一踏鴻門兩扇開,七通八J29nB248_p0796a30達恣遊戲,謾說明州布袋憨,騰騰任運了無寄。」
J29nB248_p0796b01旨、超二上座募藏經入山,上堂,兼謝檀越齋。「量等大J29nB248_p0796b02千經卷,誰知在一微塵?無量國中,難聞名字;河沙劫J29nB248_p0796b03內,罕遇傳持。幸有明眼衲僧,等閒剖出大藏、小藏、無J29nB248_p0796b04盡藏;兼之大心居士,任運助轉食輪、法輪、如意輪。不J29nB248_p0796b05勞白馬西來,關山遠涉,祇以慈航東渡,穩載而歸。安J29nB248_p0796b06置毘盧樓閣之內,展開明窗淨几之前。目睹而心心J29nB248_p0796b07契合,指掌而念念圓明。一句入神,功超曠劫。在昔常J29nB248_p0796b08啼東請、善財南詢,至於剝皮刺血為紙墨、為求半偈J29nB248_p0796b09捨全身,是皆為法輕生,知恩報德。然則順佛理而報J29nB248_p0796b10佛恩,無先弘法;闡佛日而開佛眼,祇貴明心。直得頭J29nB248_p0796b11頭顯露,處處全彰,所以諸佛體之號三菩提、菩薩修J29nB248_p0796b12之稱六度行、海慧變之為水、龍女獻之為珠、天女散J29nB248_p0796b13之為無著華、善友求之為如意寶、緣覺悟之為十二J29nB248_p0796b14緣起、聲聞證之為四諦人空,且道:在衲僧分上又作J29nB248_p0796b15麼生?嶽高頓落千峰勢,海闊全消萬派聲。」復舉:「僧問J29nB248_p0796b16東山演祖云:『一代時教是箇切腳,且道:切那箇字?』祖J29nB248_p0796b17云:『缽囉孃。』『學人祗問一字,如何卻畣許多?』祖云:『七字J29nB248_p0796b18八字。』」師云:「大小演祖與麼畣話,畢竟正文未曾道著。J29nB248_p0796b19敢問現前兄弟,且道:如何是正文?」良久,云:「孔門弟子J29nB248_p0796b20無人識,碧眼胡僧笑點頭。」復頌云:「一代時教是箇切J29nB248_p0796b21腳,畢竟正文無人道著。當的帝都丁,必彬斑豹剝。圓J29nB248_p0796b22通無礙底,七縱八橫;局守一隅底,無繩自縛。義隨文J29nB248_p0796b23而文隨義,歷歷明明;珠走盤而盤走珠,灑灑落落。」卓J29nB248_p0796b24拄杖,云:「分明舉似作家,切忌胡穿亂鑿,就中演出玅J29nB248_p0796b25伽陀,定慧圓明無住著。」
J29nB248_p0796b26至節,小參。「滴水滴凍,止濼困魚難轉動;成塊成團,水J29nB248_p0796b27晶宮裏玉龍蟠。十分緊俏風頭硬,一片冰湖徹骨寒;J29nB248_p0796b28無影樹頭霜色白,不萌枝上雪華攢。翻憶少林冷坐,J29nB248_p0796b29分明特地無端;賺得神光斷臂,覓心無處心安。於斯J29nB248_p0796b30薦得,一了百當;於斯不薦,千難萬難。亟須勇猛精進,J29nB248_p0796c01朝夕廢寢忘餐,拶到水窮山盡處,虛空粉碎髑髏乾,J29nB248_p0796c02大似陽回大地,春滿林巒,和風浩蕩乾坤闊,佛日高J29nB248_p0796c03縣法界寬。」復舉:「僧問洞山:『寒暑到來如何迴避?』山云:J29nB248_p0796c04『何不向無寒暑處迴避?』僧云:『如何是無寒暑處?』山云:J29nB248_p0796c05『寒時寒殺闍黎,熱時熱殺闍黎。』」師云:「洞山古佛雖則J29nB248_p0796c06善赴來機,猶欠悟在。何故?不應話作兩橛。若人檢點J29nB248_p0796c07得出,許你具一隻眼。其或未然,不免頌出:寒時寒殺、J29nB248_p0796c08熱時熱殺,靈利衲僧,如何超拔?腳跟線斷得自繇,鼻J29nB248_p0796c09端泥盡君休刮。黃閣簾垂家信通,紫羅帳合珍珠撒。J29nB248_p0796c10陰陽寒暑不相干,千古萬古阿剌剌。」
J29nB248_p0796c11上堂。「日南長至,宮中添一線;及時應節,律管動飛灰。J29nB248_p0796c12陰消陽長,暖氣潛回,岸容待臘將舒柳,山意衝寒欲J29nB248_p0796c13放梅。慈明揭榜僧堂,雕鐫諸子;洞山掇退果桌,鈍置J29nB248_p0796c14英才。倚天長劍眉間挂,兔角龜毛眼裏栽,是處全提J29nB248_p0796c15大用,頭頭豎抹橫該。一聞千悟底,如龍得水;根塵未J29nB248_p0796c16脫底,似鴨聞雷。須透徹,莫依偎,偷心死盡眼睛活,銕J29nB248_p0796c17壁銀山盡豁開。且道:開後如何?十方剎海平如掌,愛J29nB248_p0796c18日當陽處處輝。」
J29nB248_p0796c19成道,上堂。「棄卻王宮,直往雪山,六載翛然冷坐,萬緣J29nB248_p0796c20迥絕躋攀,容鵲巢於頂上,挂蛛網於眉彎,忽睹明星J29nB248_p0796c21出現,廓然打破牢關,從茲輥出艸窠裏,一箇閒人天J29nB248_p0796c22地間。且道:釋迦老子即今在甚麼處?」卓拄杖,云:「來也,J29nB248_p0796c23來也。在山僧拄杖頭上高聲唱言:『於一切法成最正J29nB248_p0796c24覺,智入三世悉皆平等,吾身充滿一切世間,吾音普J29nB248_p0796c25順十方國土。譬如虛空具含萬象,於諸境界無所分J29nB248_p0796c26別,又如虛空普遍一切,於諸國土平等隨入,身恆遍J29nB248_p0796c27坐一切道場,菩薩眾中威光赫奕。』諸仁若向者裏諦J29nB248_p0796c28信得及,靈山一會儼然未散;你若稍或眼目定動,釋J29nB248_p0796c29迦老子又入琉璃古殿去也。山僧忍俊不禁,祇得重J29nB248_p0796c30說偈言:真宗絕朕,大道無名,本來無壞,安得有成?萬J29nB248_p0797a01里雲收午夜,一天星斗圓明。雖然拾得鼻孔,不知打J29nB248_p0797a02失眼睛。凜凜真風吹遍界,叢林千古播佳聲。」卓拄杖,J29nB248_p0797a03下座。
J29nB248_p0797a04除夜,小參。「歲復歲兮日復日,看看今夜又除夕,等閒J29nB248_p0797a05白了少年頭,一歲光陰又虛擲。己躬下事如未明,浪J29nB248_p0797a06死虛生無利益,要於身後免沈淪,好向死前先畫策,J29nB248_p0797a07莫教一息不來時,追悔從前空自責,直須打破死生J29nB248_p0797a08關,一念萬年無變革。然而至道無難,惟嫌揀擇,心心J29nB248_p0797a09不住,超宗越格,便能使得十二時,三際不分何間隔?J29nB248_p0797a10逆順縱橫得自繇,捏聚依前又開闢。所以道:年來年J29nB248_p0797a11去,去來不動乾坤;歲舊歲新,新舊一般時節。如是,則J29nB248_p0797a12塵塵爾、剎剎爾、念念爾,正恁麼時,不涉新舊去來一J29nB248_p0797a13句作麼生道?能為萬象主,不逐四時凋。記得古人有J29nB248_p0797a14頌云:『坐守空山歲又窮,夜堂相聚話西東,少林一曲J29nB248_p0797a15無今古,自是諸方調不同。』新靈峰今晚不免效顰,貴J29nB248_p0797a16要大家具眼。歲歲今宵曷有窮?循環如日轉西東,舊J29nB248_p0797a17新寒暑雖更改,底事明明絕異同。」
J29nB248_p0797a18元旦,上堂。拈香。「一爐爇處,是處皆然,彌亙六合,香徹J29nB248_p0797a19大千。九重騰瑞氣,萬國藹祥煙,祇奉一人天地貴,從J29nB248_p0797a20教諸道自分權。」斂衣敷坐,云:「三陽開泰,春歸玉苑,洪J29nB248_p0797a21鈞氣轉,凍解銀塘。七政順序,四海安詳,雨暘時若,物J29nB248_p0797a22阜民康。兵器銷為農器,征帆轉作慈航,放牛於桃林J29nB248_p0797a23之塢,歸馬於華山之陽。和風宛若慈風溥,舜日端如J29nB248_p0797a24佛日長,直得人人悟毘盧性海,各各明本地風光。正J29nB248_p0797a25與麼時,元正啟祚,應時納祐一句作麼生道?祇園今J29nB248_p0797a26古饒春色,朵朵渾開薝蔔香。」
J29nB248_p0797a27罷爐,上堂,兼謝兩序及知尼藏公齋。「東風漸暖,萬木J29nB248_p0797a28將新,崖前春水滑,雲外鳥聲頻,水面冰浮似玉,枝頭J29nB248_p0797a29梅白如銀。一一發明玅有,頭頭顯露天真,覿面分明J29nB248_p0797a30無向背,塵塵盡是本來人。有時把斷要津,九十日中J29nB248_p0797b01冰枯雪老;有時放開一線,華香日麗美景良辰。全放J29nB248_p0797b02即收也,泥牛鬥入海;全收即放也,一馬生三寅。祇要J29nB248_p0797b03諸仁淨嬴嬴光吞萬象,赤灑灑氣絕諸塵,徹頭徹尾,J29nB248_p0797b04不昧元神,殷勤為解丁香結,放出枝頭自在春。況復J29nB248_p0797b05明眼知音,同心相照,手交肘臂,互作主賓,洗清佛日,J29nB248_p0797b06助轉法輪?更有垂手入廛,隨方善應,打開寶藏,運出J29nB248_p0797b07家珍,將折箸攪長河為酥酪,百味具足調勻,直得箇J29nB248_p0797b08箇飽齁齁地,法喜禪說相親,團圞共說無生話,一會J29nB248_p0797b09靈峰萬古新。正當今日,因齋慶讚即且置,祇如該羅J29nB248_p0797b10萬有一句作麼生道?」卓拄杖,云:「一氣不言含有象,萬J29nB248_p0797b11靈何處謝無私?」
J29nB248_p0797b12燈節,小參。「最勝良宵,上元佳節,銀燭高燒,寶檀細爇,J29nB248_p0797b13燈月交輝,處處不別。最分明,太皎潔,佛祖家風盡情J29nB248_p0797b14漏渫,明眼衲僧如何分雪?果然蓋色騎聲,便解抽釘J29nB248_p0797b15拔楔,從教萬緒千端,自是七穿八穴。若也逐色隨聲,J29nB248_p0797b16未免眼中著屑。問諸仁:瞥不瞥?若也瞥,萬兩黃金合J29nB248_p0797b17消;若不瞥,喫水也須防噎。莫因循,當猛烈,聲色堆中J29nB248_p0797b18須打徹,為要諸仁氣分同,山僧不是多饒舌。」復舉:「東J29nB248_p0797b19坡居士問蔣山佛慧泉禪師:『如何是智海之燈?』泉遽J29nB248_p0797b20畣偈曰:『指出明明是甚麼?舉頭鷂子穿雲過。從來者J29nB248_p0797b21碗最希奇,解問燈人能幾箇?』東坡雖則欣然有會,蔣J29nB248_p0797b22山未晚傷慈太殺。若是山僧,『如何是智海之燈?』」驀召J29nB248_p0797b23云:「大眾!」眾舉首,乃云:「耿耿孤光常獨耀,不勞挑剔照J29nB248_p0797b24人寰。」
J29nB248_p0797b25上堂。「山僧昨晚剛睡著時,夢見藥師琉璃光如來與J29nB248_p0797b26須彌燈光如來在十字街頭同看鼇山燈火,藥師如J29nB248_p0797b27來應時及節而說偈言:『一燈能續百千燈,心印光通J29nB248_p0797b28法令行,千聖不傳吹不滅,聯輝烈燄轉分明。』於是,須J29nB248_p0797b29彌燈光如來隨聲唱和:『慧燈不滅魔難入,智鏡常明J29nB248_p0797b30夢不侵,堪歎浮生瞌睡漢,從教萬劫恣昏沈。』彼時,權J29nB248_p0797c01長老從旁亦說偈言:『大矣哉!甚奇特!一燈照徹塵沙J29nB248_p0797c02國,光輝八萬四千土,土土皆作黃金色,四生六道一J29nB248_p0797c03光中,祇為情生而智隔,直下分明須劋絕,莫待當來J29nB248_p0797c04問彌勒。』大眾!昨夜夢說禪,今朝禪說夢,自納一場敗J29nB248_p0797c05闕,不合驚群動眾。且道:權上座甚處敗闕?明眼人前J29nB248_p0797c06不得說夢。」卓拄杖,下座。
J29nB248_p0797c07百丈忌,拈香。「堂堂師表,間氣英雄,機先路活,頂門眼J29nB248_p0797c08空。劋絕野狐知見,剖開佛祖心胸,倒行摩竭令,全露J29nB248_p0797c09少林宗。兒孫遍界,克振家風,繩繩步武,王應金舂。恩J29nB248_p0797c10大難酬何以報?旃檀一瓣爇爐中。」
J29nB248_p0797c11皆然化士歸山,上堂。「佛事門頭不捨一法,東風一扇J29nB248_p0797c12群華發;實際理地不受一塵,蟾穿潭底水無痕。無象J29nB248_p0797c13無私春入律,不留不礙月行空;萬象光吞無內外,微J29nB248_p0797c14塵佛剎盡圓通。所以道:碧落青霄,道人活計;逆行順J29nB248_p0797c15化,衲子家風。行無緣慈,作不請友,纔伸驢腳,便展佛J29nB248_p0797c16手,見三下三,三三如九。杖頭挑日月,須彌挂北斗,驚J29nB248_p0797c17起東山水上行,嚇得磨盤空裏走,等閒一吸滄溟竭,J29nB248_p0797c18差珍異寶般般有,滿船載得月明歸。無限清風生戶J29nB248_p0797c19牖,考鐘伐鼓雁堂前,四海高流同聚首,果然一飽忘J29nB248_p0797c20百饑,知音不用重分剖。正與麼時,大功不宰即且置,J29nB248_p0797c21全提正令一句作麼生道?」卓拄杖,云:「域中日月縱橫J29nB248_p0797c22挂,一亙晴空萬古春。」
J29nB248_p0797c23涅槃,上堂。問:「本來不生,因甚世尊降生藍毘尼園?」師J29nB248_p0797c24云:「秦樓歌夜月。」進云:「本來不滅,因甚麼入滅雙林樹J29nB248_p0797c25下?」師云:「魏殿舞春風。」進云:「祇如達磨大師葬於熊耳J29nB248_p0797c26山前,因甚又隻履西歸?」師云:「也要你知者箇消息。」進J29nB248_p0797c27云:「某甲則不然,來去無留礙,卷舒任自繇。」師云:「且信J29nB248_p0797c28你一半。」乃云:「老瞿曇沒意智,纔出胞胎,四顧稱尊,因J29nB248_p0797c29甚又往雪山,夜睹明星,方纔瞥地?自說諸法寂滅相J29nB248_p0797c30不可以言宣,因甚四十九年播土揚塵,三百餘會口J29nB248_p0798a01勞舌沸?自說諸行無常是生滅法,因甚又道:於然燈J29nB248_p0798a02佛所得值八百四千萬億那由他諸佛,悉皆供養承J29nB248_p0798a03事,與夫無量劫中捨頭目髓腦、國城妻子、象馬七珍,J29nB248_p0798a04修諸苦行,種種布施?自說於然燈佛所實無有法可J29nB248_p0798a05得,因甚拈華示眾,付屬飲光,流通正法眼藏,與諸菩J29nB248_p0798a06薩授阿耨多羅三藐三菩提記?自說常在靈鷲山及J29nB248_p0798a07餘諸住處,因甚向拘尸那畔雙林樹下摩胸告眾:『今J29nB248_p0798a08日則有,明日則無。』槨示雙趺,愈加一場鈍置,傳播將J29nB248_p0798a09來,歲歲今朝,謂是涅槃時至。恰值化主殷勤辦供,嚴J29nB248_p0798a10備香華、燈燭、茶果、珍饈美味,不肖遠孫因風吹火燒J29nB248_p0798a11牛頭旃檀,五分法身之香熏你鼻孔,使你無處回避。J29nB248_p0798a12上來與麼哆哆和和,且道:是贊揚?是罵詈?」卓拄杖,云:J29nB248_p0798a13「諸仁若向者裏薦得,於其中間來去真無礙,卷舒信J29nB248_p0798a14自繇,玅用縱橫,得大善利。祇如為眾竭力報佛深恩J29nB248_p0798a15底人,畢竟功歸何所?」卓拄杖,云:「玲瓏八面活潑潑,千J29nB248_p0798a16古萬古振綱宗。」
J29nB248_p0798a17大悲生日,陞座。「今朝二月十九日,大悲菩薩降生辰,J29nB248_p0798a18本來玅體無生滅,緣何示現大士身?為憫娑婆諸苦J29nB248_p0798a19趣,所以分身遍剎塵。紺目澄清香水碧,月眉皎潔海J29nB248_p0798a20門新。楊柳風清除熱惱,淨缾露冷灑災迍。五濁波中J29nB248_p0798a21施寶筏,紅塵路上指迷津。塵中能作主,化外自來賓,J29nB248_p0798a22三十二應遊諸國土,千百億化度脫沈淪,圓滿淨如J29nB248_p0798a23空界月,照空今古絕疏親。大眾!分身應現即不問,且J29nB248_p0798a24道:如何是真月?」良久,云:「休於天上覓,莫向水中尋。」卓J29nB248_p0798a25拄杖,下座。
J29nB248_p0798a26化士歸山,上堂。「無上兩足尊,佛種從緣起,六度四無J29nB248_p0798a27量,任運不停止。為滿足菩提,視身如敝屣,佛佛既皆J29nB248_p0798a28然,祖祖亦如此。寶壽作街坊,為眾如為己,忽聞無面J29nB248_p0798a29目,便悟單傳旨。南辰信手攀,北斗回身倚,光陰幾百J29nB248_p0798a30年,清風猶未已。阿誰頭上沒青天?彼既丈夫我亦爾,J29nB248_p0798b01廓然當下心眼開,曠劫頓超一彈指,無邊剎海掌中J29nB248_p0798b02觀。大地撮來粟粒米,供養十方羅漢僧,饑虛永絕咸J29nB248_p0798b03歡喜。正法眼藏廣流通,遍界優曇開火裏。呵呵呵!委J29nB248_p0798b04不委?一程不涉便歸家,擬議白雲千萬里。」復舉:「古人J29nB248_p0798b05道:『智不到處切忌道著,道著則頭角生。』前輩與麼說J29nB248_p0798b06話,大似病鳥棲蘆,太殺無轉智。靈峰則不然,智不到J29nB248_p0798b07處正好道著,雨灑嵒華,風生殿閣,診候臨時,應病與J29nB248_p0798b08藥,看孔著楔,解黏去縛,天馬挨開大施門,震動乾坤J29nB248_p0798b09星斗落。」卓拄杖,下座。
J29nB248_p0798b10清明,上堂。僊石問:「禁煙令節,存亡感慟,斯辰猊座高J29nB248_p0798b11登,未審如何指示?」師拈拄杖,云:「天上有星皆拱北,人J29nB248_p0798b12間無水不朝東。」進云:「一句迥開,萬靈有賴。」師云:「且道:J29nB248_p0798b13甚麼人境界?」進云:「一把柳絲收不得,和煙搭在玉欄J29nB248_p0798b14干。」師云:「休誇澤色黃金嫩,切忌西風匝地吹。」僧禮拜,J29nB248_p0798b15乃云:「迅速韶光如電掣,看看又是清明節,萬紫千紅J29nB248_p0798b16開畫圖,不用安排與羅列。靈雲一見兩眉橫,引得漁J29nB248_p0798b17郎恣饒舌,鷓鴣啼處百華香,直截為人人不瞥。慎終J29nB248_p0798b18追遠世相傳,拜埽先塋忙不迭,高低無限土饅頭,薶J29nB248_p0798b19沒智愚與豪傑,紙錢灰滿千家冢,哭到衰陽聲哽咽。J29nB248_p0798b20轆轤上下,浪死虛生,換面改頭,百醜千拙。愛河渺渺J29nB248_p0798b21幾時枯?業海茫茫何日竭?要於當下免輪迴[○@│],須向J29nB248_p0798b22此中親打徹。叮嚀我輩出家兒,辦道身心須猛烈,放J29nB248_p0798b23開胸次冷如冰,豎起脊梁硬似銕,不容豪髮有淆訛,J29nB248_p0798b24是佛是魔俱劋絕。果然大用現前,自是頭頭合轍,一J29nB248_p0798b25毫不露處,何妨嶽積山堆?萬法全彰時,卻又影沈光J29nB248_p0798b26滅,卷舒出沒自繇,應現千差萬別,能挑海底金燈,善J29nB248_p0798b27出眼中玉屑,鉗鎚十聖三賢,敕點飛龍跛鱉,傳持無J29nB248_p0798b28盡莫窮年,將此深心奉塵剎。然雖如是,猶屬化門。不J29nB248_p0798b29落諸緣一句作麼生道?」卓拄杖,云:「十方剎海無倫匹,J29nB248_p0798b30千古萬古獨巍巍。」
J29nB248_p0798c01上堂。僧問:「法座當軒容進步,德山托缽事如何?」師云:J29nB248_p0798c02「殘羹餿飯,不勞拈出。」進云:「雪峰道:『鐘未鳴,鼓未響,托J29nB248_p0798c03缽向甚麼處去?』山便歸方丈。意旨如何?」師云:「風動水J29nB248_p0798c04生紋。」進云:「峰舉似巖頭,頭曰:『大小德山未會末後句。』J29nB248_p0798c05甚處是他未會末後句?」師曰:「殺人刀,活人劍。」進云:「德J29nB248_p0798c06山道:『汝不肯老僧那?』頭便密啟其意。如何是密啟其J29nB248_p0798c07意?」師云:「爛泥有刺。」進云:「德山來日上堂,頭云:『且喜老J29nB248_p0798c08漢會末後句。雖然,也只得三年活。』既會末後句,因甚J29nB248_p0798c09只得三年?」師云:「如蟲禦木。」進云:「和尚與麼畣話,與古J29nB248_p0798c10人還有優劣也無?」師云:「優則總優,劣則總劣。」進云:「水J29nB248_p0798c11向石邊流出冷,風從華裏過來香。」師云:「且莫詐明頭。」J29nB248_p0798c12僧喝,師便打,僧禮拜,云:「無雲生嶺上,有月落波心。」師J29nB248_p0798c13云:「猶是亂統。」乃云:「劫前運步,孰是知音?格外橫身,誰J29nB248_p0798c14當辨的?二聽絕聞其響,五眼莫睹其形,直饒威音那J29nB248_p0798c15畔承當,未免打作兩橛,縱使卻來者邊行履,也應難J29nB248_p0798c16許十全。有佛處,不得住,抹過恆河沙國土,春風孰道J29nB248_p0798c17在華支?鸞鳳不棲荊棘樹。無佛處,急走過,鎖夢關空J29nB248_p0798c18成險墮,莫守寒嵒異艸青,休戀白雲深處坐。有無不J29nB248_p0798c19住絕商量,玅用縱橫迥異常,熱碗晝鳴翻古調,銕牛J29nB248_p0798c20夜吼換新腔,蟭螟眼裏放夜市。」卓拄杖,云:「須信吾宗J29nB248_p0798c21別有長。」復舉:「僧問洛浦:『供養百千諸佛,不如供養一J29nB248_p0798c22箇無心道人。未審百千諸佛有何過?無心道人有何J29nB248_p0798c23德?』浦曰:『一片白雲橫谷口,幾多歸鳥盡迷巢?』後有尊J29nB248_p0798c24宿云:『要識箇中意,牛頭尾上安。』山僧則不然,要會箇J29nB248_p0798c25中意,一老一不老。於斯明得,今日鑑明禪德領眾居J29nB248_p0798c26士揮金辦供,施者不作施想、受者不作受想,彼此一J29nB248_p0798c27念純真,當體三輪空宗,功超五果四向,福等虛空無J29nB248_p0798c28盡。於斯未明,大眾二時應供,不得咬破一粒米。久參J29nB248_p0798c29先德,何用忉忉?晚學初機,更為頌出:百千諸佛、無心J29nB248_p0798c30道人,元無彼此,卻有疏親。夜蟾自是有圜缺,古鏡從J29nB248_p0799a01來不受塵。」卓拄杖,云:「者段家風誰會得?騰騰任運劫J29nB248_p0799a02前春。」
J29nB248_p0799a03晚參。舉:「石霜禪師道:『初機未覯大事,先須識取頭,其J29nB248_p0799a04尾自至。』疏山參,問:『如何是頭?』霜曰:『直須知有。』『如何是J29nB248_p0799a05尾?』霜曰:『盡卻今時。』『有頭無尾時如何?』霜曰:『吐得黃金J29nB248_p0799a06堪作甚麼?』『有尾無頭時如何?』霜曰:『猶有依倚在。』『直得J29nB248_p0799a07頭尾相稱時如何?』霜曰:『渠不作箇解會,亦未許渠在。』J29nB248_p0799a08後僧問九峰:『如何是頭?』峰曰:『開眼不覺曉。』『如何是尾?』J29nB248_p0799a09峰曰:『不坐萬年床。』『有頭無尾時如何?』峰曰:『終是不貴。』J29nB248_p0799a10『有尾無頭時如何?』峰曰:『雖飽無力。』『直得頭尾相稱時J29nB248_p0799a11如何?』峰曰:『兒孫得力,室內不知。』」師云:「二大老與麼提J29nB248_p0799a12持,雖是祭鬼神茶飯,鬼神也無猒足,山僧不免更著J29nB248_p0799a13一分。『如何是頭?』萬年天子不封侯。『如何是尾?』四海五J29nB248_p0799a14湖王化裏。『有頭無尾時如何?』潛龍勿用。『有尾無頭時J29nB248_p0799a15如何?』好所佛堂,而佛不聖。『如何是頭尾相稱底句?』夜J29nB248_p0799a16明簾外排班立,空王殿上絕知音。且道:與古人相去J29nB248_p0799a17多少?具眼者辨取。」
