J28nB220_p0788a04 J28nB220_p0788a05山門。一喝,云:「者道門馬大師親從出入,山僧到來未J28nB220_p0788a06免隨他去就。雖然——」以拄杖一卓,云:「驢驢馬馬,切忌蹋J28nB220_p0788a07著。」
J28nB220_p0788a08佛殿。「三即一,一即三,三一若存,能所歷然。」以具打○J28nB220_p0788a09相云:「彼此相見不相識。」
J28nB220_p0788a10據室。「此乃大寂馬祖及機禪師所踞,今日不肖遠孫J28nB220_p0788a11有甚長處?」喝云:「佛祖到來,也須乞命。」
J28nB220_p0788a12即日,上堂。祝J28nB220_p0788a13聖罷,次拈香,云:「千秋埋沒,今日重新。十二載之繩墨,滿J28nB220_p0788a14口砒礵;三四番之斲輪,通身鍼蠆。爇向爐中,供養前J28nB220_p0788a15住雲居歸老竹林傳臨濟正宗第三十世傘居先師J28nB220_p0788a16顓愚大和尚,用酬法乳。」遂斂衣就座。白椎竟,師云:「獨J28nB220_p0788a17坐當軒,誰敢單刀直入?斬新條令,孰能格外全提?眾J28nB220_p0788a18中有不顧危險者,出眾相見。」請主覺真問:「千年祖席,J28nB220_p0788a19此日重興,正令全提,如何舉唱?」師打,云:「一棒敲開龍J28nB220_p0788a20頂骨,明珠吐出色重光。」進云:「秖如當年臨濟打克符,J28nB220_p0788a21是同?是別?」師云:「道士甕裏坐。」進云:「的旨不從人處得,J28nB220_p0788a22蓮花步步足輪生。」師打,云:「魔魅不少。」僧禮拜,師拈拄J28nB220_p0788a23杖,云:「昔日臨濟住河北,建立黃檗宗旨,便是者條楖J28nB220_p0788a24栗於人天眾前橫拈直豎、敲佛打祖。山僧今日拈出,J28nB220_p0788a25觸著則性命俱喪,犯著則頭腦盡裂。且道:利害在甚J28nB220_p0788a26麼處?」一卓,云:「寸刃不施魔膽碎,望風先已豎降旗。敘J28nB220_p0788a27事畢,秖如高振祖規,刀斧不開一句作麼生道?君臣J28nB220_p0788a28道合玄黃位,不涉階梯化日長。」下座。
J28nB220_p0788a29上堂。「欲識佛性義,當觀時節因緣。諸仁者!作麼生是J28nB220_p0788a30時節因緣?莫是世尊拈花、迦葉微笑時節因緣耶?還J28nB220_p0788b01是達磨面壁、二祖安心,馬祖一喝、百丈耳聾時節因J28nB220_p0788b02緣耶?臨濟喫黃檗痛棒、向大愚脅下還拳時節因緣J28nB220_p0788b03耶?憨山師翁參笑巖和尚一過便休、先師于曹溪憨J28nB220_p0788b04祖頂門一鍼時節因緣耶?今朝眾居士請山僧上堂J28nB220_p0788b05時節因緣耶?既然總非,畢竟明甚麼邊事?眾中有善J28nB220_p0788b06能甄別者麼?縱饒道得,猶是者邊事。若論那邊更那J28nB220_p0788b07邊,三世諸佛口挂壁上。到者裏,學子潭、老人石措手J28nB220_p0788b08不及,翠屏峰、說法臺縮項有分。何故?向摩挲不得處J28nB220_p0788b09而能定當得出,方許作忤逆兒孫;設或未能,只成得J28nB220_p0788b10途路邊客。且道畢竟如何?黃閣簾垂關白象,紫羅帳J28nB220_p0788b11合繫蒼龍。」下座。
J28nB220_p0788b12儲將承山居士生日,請上堂。問:「如何是空手把鋤頭?」J28nB220_p0788b13師云:「累墜煞人。」「如何是步行騎水牛?」師云:「離他不得。」J28nB220_p0788b14「如何是人從橋上過?」師云:「照管腳跟。」「如何是橋流水J28nB220_p0788b15不流?」師云:「直下覷看。」僧禮拜,師云:「念言語漢。」乃云:「諸J28nB220_p0788b16法寂滅相,不可以言宣;本生無量壽,豈可以數記?果J28nB220_p0788b17能當下體驗,決定釘抽腦後,楔去眼中。所以道:即此J28nB220_p0788b18見聞非見聞,無餘聲色可呈君。個中若了原無事,體J28nB220_p0788b19用何妨分不分?如能透得此意,即知寂滅相從來是J28nB220_p0788b20用,無量壽原不離體。今日王公誕辰,特請高陞曲彔J28nB220_p0788b21床,拋下無孔笛,貴要諸人當體全彰,方稱居士本懷。J28nB220_p0788b22苟或佇思停機,山僧只得漫成一偈,略為慶祝:天大J28nB220_p0788b23將軍壽固然,龍門聊以為君宣,本生父母如何睹?問J28nB220_p0788b24取當年戲馬前。」下座。
J28nB220_p0788b25雲居先老人忌日,上堂。問:「青山靄靄,碧水滔滔,恁麼J28nB220_p0788b26境界,如何提唱?」師云:「竹舞千峰空劫外,香焚一片玉J28nB220_p0788b27爐中。」進云:「空劫玉爐承師指,父子相見事如何?」師云:J28nB220_p0788b28「珊瑚枕上兩行淚,半是思君半恨君。」僧作女人拜,師J28nB220_p0788b29云:「也是黑地穿針。」乃云:「明月堂前,青山靄靄;空王殿J28nB220_p0788b30外,碧水滔滔。雖則竹舞千峰,香焚玉炷,未免愁腸暗J28nB220_p0788c01結,方寸咨嗟。黃花泣秋露,慎終追遠;紅葉墜朝曦,難J28nB220_p0788c02逢清鑒。諸人還知先師去來麼?本不曾生焉有滅?去J28nB220_p0788c03來生滅好思量。」遂插香,云:「以此供養。」
J28nB220_p0788c04臘八,圓戒,上堂。問:「和尚踞虎頭,某甲收虎尾,第一句J28nB220_p0788c05下明宗旨,如何是中間底?」師打,云:「百雜碎。」僧喝,師云:J28nB220_p0788c06「喝什麼?」進云:「兩岸猿聲啼不住,扁舟已過萬重山。」師J28nB220_p0788c07云:「沒交涉。」乃云:「今朝拄杖子與現前新學菩薩同成J28nB220_p0788c08正覺,且道雪山老子悟個甚麼?秪悟得者一領破袈J28nB220_p0788c09裟,末後拈花,以至二十八祖傳到東震旦國,而蔭被J28nB220_p0788c10五宗,遞相繁盛,可謂如花布錦,枝豔芬芳。山僧親承J28nB220_p0788c11祖印,無一絲毫許移易,諸人果能直下承當,方知不J28nB220_p0788c12從人得。設若擬議,扁舟已過萬重山。且道作麼生是J28nB220_p0788c13本有底袈裟?」以手舉,云:「曹溪吾祖親留得,分付今朝J28nB220_p0788c14克紹兒。」一喝,下座。
J28nB220_p0788c15請執事,上堂。「霜花鋪地白,紅日映東升,古殿光輝耀,J28nB220_p0788c16乾坤瑞氣清。且喜象王起趾,師子嚬呻,階下黃花展J28nB220_p0788c17笑臉,樹頭紅葉正相親。」拈拄杖一卓,云:「者裏會得,便J28nB220_p0788c18能一切處扶起舊案,復振家聲,以此為祥為瑞,以此J28nB220_p0788c19法戰縱橫,萬丈門庭今日起,大家著力一齊撐。會麼?J28nB220_p0788c20不見道:客來須看賊來打,點盞蒿湯勝殊珍。」
J28nB220_p0788c21上堂。「佛身充滿於法界,無你站立處。普現一切群生J28nB220_p0788c22前,者是香爐、那是燭臺。隨緣赴感靡不周,脫空妄語J28nB220_p0788c23漢。而恒處此菩提座,普化來也。諸仁者!且作麼生說J28nB220_p0788c24個靡不周底道理?試出來說看。」監院問:「拄杖子揚聲J28nB220_p0788c25大叫,棕闌拂笑展雙眉,還是釋迦祥瑞?還是大悲神J28nB220_p0788c26通?」師云:「不是迦文祥瑞,亦非大悲神通。」進云:「世尊說J28nB220_p0788c27法,天雨四花;和尚陞座,錦鋪簇簇。且道:是同?是別?」師J28nB220_p0788c28云:「功德天,黑暗女。」進云:「恁麼則過、現、未來一齊供養J28nB220_p0788c29去也。」師云:「急須吐卻。」進云:「設若臨濟大師到來,和尚J28nB220_p0788c30如何款待?」師和聲便打,僧禮拜,師乃云:「山僧月前道J28nB220_p0789a01過雲陽,今朝回來孜孜挈挈,雖則周旋往來於者裏,J28nB220_p0789a02不曾動著一絲毫。所以道:不離此座而遍入道場,不J28nB220_p0789a03動一毫而遍周沙界。向個裏覷得透,方可慶快平生,J28nB220_p0789a04隨機應物,即不負監院設齋請宣此事;其或未然,山J28nB220_p0789a05僧為諸人道破去也。」一喝,下座。
J28nB220_p0789a06元旦,上堂。祝J28nB220_p0789a07聖畢,僧出問:「斬新日月,特地乾坤,時節因緣即不問,今J28nB220_p0789a08朝陞座事如何?」師云:「黃河清澈底,玉燭日流輝。」進云:J28nB220_p0789a09「只如此事,人人本具,因甚不會?」師云:「問取石頭土塊J28nB220_p0789a10去。」進云:「蒙師指出秦時鏡,照破乾元共證盟。」師云:「正J28nB220_p0789a11好喫棒在。」僧作禮,師乃云:「出門相見大賓峰,函蓋乾J28nB220_p0789a12坤萬像融,拽杖歸來呈舊面,高陞猊座祝皇風。且喜J28nB220_p0789a13元正啟祚,萬物咸亨,鐘鼓交參,人天普集,正值此時,J28nB220_p0789a14祥麟彩鳳獨舞丹霄,錦衣當庚運行至道,眾中還有J28nB220_p0789a15不被時節動轉底麼?設若不會,山僧只得與諸人通J28nB220_p0789a16個消息。」良久,復舉:「高峰大師云:『有錢難買歲朝春』,切J28nB220_p0789a17莫錯過。『奼女梳妝越樣新』,面皮厚多少?『唯有東村王J28nB220_p0789a18大姐』,早已看破者尿床鬼子。『依然滿面是埃塵』,也是J28nB220_p0789a19不會時節。諸仁者!山僧盡情道破了,還知端的也未?」J28nB220_p0789a20以杖高豎,云:「目前無異路,不用賀新年。」一喝,下座。
J28nB220_p0789a21解制,上堂。僧問:「今朝上元時節,村歌社舞不歇,打開J28nB220_p0789a22祖師關捩,盡把春機漏洩。如何是漏洩底機?」師云:「芻J28nB220_p0789a23草乍開山岳動,春風才放鳥啼新。」乃云:「趙州東壁挂J28nB220_p0789a24胡蘆,百日諸人會也無?不會,山僧明說破。」顧眾,云:「說J28nB220_p0789a25破個甚麼?咄!急薦取,莫胡塗,便是龍門解制符。個裏J28nB220_p0789a26若能親會得,何須更覓赤鬚胡?」下座。
J28nB220_p0789a27寒溪、雲庵為薦師,請上堂問答不錄。師乃云:「方友靜主昔J28nB220_p0789a28年來參,入門便打○相。山僧問:『者個是甚麼?』他無語。J28nB220_p0789a29山僧云:『如何是你住山事?』主云:『閒挑苦菜,饑煮雲羹。』J28nB220_p0789a30山僧云:『其中還有事也無?』主云:『待和尚問即道。』山僧J28nB220_p0789b01云:『問過了也。』主便喝,山僧亦喝,主復喝,山僧便打,云:J28nB220_p0789b02『靜主被龍門勘破了也。』諸仁者!且道那裏是勘破處?」J28nB220_p0789b03復成一偈云:「三十餘年住草庵,紅爐煨盡鼻頭寒,如J28nB220_p0789b04今影裏抽身去,不把閑名挂齒端。」下座。
J28nB220_p0789b05端節,上堂。「清貧贏得菖蒲綠,熱鬧輸他鼉鼓遊,惟有J28nB220_p0789b06長沙汀上淚,波心滴破令人愁。所以道:世人皆濁我J28nB220_p0789b07獨清,眾人皆醉我獨醒。且道:他有甚長處?他家曾踏J28nB220_p0789b08上頭關,千古遺聞重相憶。若如是,方可聽笙歌于綠J28nB220_p0789b09柳堤邊,觀龍舟于煙波江上。雄黃酒、菖蒲茶,無限馨J28nB220_p0789b10香生兩頰;艾虎符、善財藥,亦能殺人亦能活。」顧眾,云:J28nB220_p0789b11「還有知得時節底麼?」以拄杖打○相于中書令字,云:J28nB220_p0789b12「急急如律令。」一喝。
J28nB220_p0789b13薦亡僧,上堂。問:「亡僧遷化向什麼處去?」師云:「不是天J28nB220_p0789b14堂,便是地獄。」進云:「者個且置,腳跟下一句又作麼生?」J28nB220_p0789b15師云:「黑土三尺深,佛眼覷不見。」乃云:「佛旨禪入,送芥J28nB220_p0789b16納靈骨歸山,請山僧說些佛法。若論佛法二字,久已J28nB220_p0789b17忘卻了也。只記得疇昔之年,伊問:『翠竹煙霞即不問,J28nB220_p0789b18大地黃花事若何?』山僧云:『刺瞎闍黎眼。』伊云:『刺後如J28nB220_p0789b19何?』山僧云:『待汝死徹一番,即向汝道。』今日伊死了,因J28nB220_p0789b20甚不道?諸兄弟!生死路頭長,倏忽如掣電,急須抖擻J28nB220_p0789b21精神,畢竟是個甚麼?莫待黑面老子索飯錢,漫言不J28nB220_p0789b22道。」
J28nB220_p0789b23上堂。「多時不說禪,口裏生荊棘,好笑寒山子,吾心似J28nB220_p0789b24秋月。月中丹桂噴天香,指示諸人識不識?若要識,問J28nB220_p0789b25取東村王大伯。」乃舉:「六祖大師道:『吾有一物,無背無J28nB220_p0789b26面、無頭無尾、無名無字,常在動用中,動用中不識。』諸J28nB220_p0789b27仁者,既在動用中,為甚不識?龍門即不然,吾有一物,J28nB220_p0789b28有頭有尾、有背有面、有名有字,常在萬像中,萬像中J28nB220_p0789b29不能覆。者裏會得,青山疊疊,黃鸝舌轉釋迦心;碧水J28nB220_p0789b30重重,鯨魚性獲祖師意。月中丹桂,威音那畔露真風;J28nB220_p0789c01雲外青松,選佛場中明個事。到恁麼地,豈敢囊藏?只J28nB220_p0789c02得為諸人道破。今辰乃萬玉葉居士為母慶生,特向J28nB220_p0789c03人天眾前無生說生、無夢說夢。雖然如是,且因齋慶J28nB220_p0789c04讚一句作麼生道?花開鐵樹全提旨,一線抽牽萬象J28nB220_p0789c05中。」下座。
J28nB220_p0789c06師誕日,上堂。「惟一堅密身,一切塵中現。山河大地、日J28nB220_p0789c07月星宿,莫是堅密身麼?明暗色空、鱗甲羽毛,莫是堅J28nB220_p0789c08密身麼?若恁麼會,與堅密身了沒交涉。後來臨濟大J28nB220_p0789c09師見人不會,卻向堅密身上下個註腳:『汝等赤肉團J28nB220_p0789c10上有一無位真人,在汝六根門頭放光動地,未證者J28nB220_p0789c11證。』自爾印文既破,以訛傳訛,將此堅密身碎作七花J28nB220_p0789c12八裂。所以安國云:『得之於心,伊蘭作栴檀之樹;失之J28nB220_p0789c13於旨,甘露乃蒺藜之園。』臨濟大師可謂善學柳下惠,J28nB220_p0789c14終不師其跡也。山僧恁麼葛藤,諸兄弟還知落處也J28nB220_p0789c15未?」良久,云:「只知事逐眼前過,不覺老從頭上來。」卓杖,J28nB220_p0789c16下座。
J28nB220_p0789c17結制,上堂。僧問:「今朝結制即不問,如何是五家宗?」師J28nB220_p0789c18云:「念將來。」進云:「如何是臨濟宗?」師云:「一棒青天轟霹J28nB220_p0789c19靂,從教海底絕煙塵。」「如何是雲門宗?」師云:「三關險處J28nB220_p0789c20難迴避,一字藏身不犯機。」「如何是曹洞宗?」師云:「君臣J28nB220_p0789c21道合金鍼密,偏正機輪玉線通。」「如何是溈仰宗?」師云:J28nB220_p0789c22「子遊父嶺父引道,父渡秋江子弄篙。」「如何是法眼宗?」J28nB220_p0789c23師云:「迦葉眼中空六相,毘盧頂上現全身。」進云:「五家J28nB220_p0789c24宗旨承師指,作家相見事如何?」師云:「兩口俱無舌,額J28nB220_p0789c25下各長眉。」進云:「某甲即不然。」師云:「你杜撰看。」進云:「栴J28nB220_p0789c26檀林裏栴檀貴,獅子窟中獅子兒。」師云:「正好喫棒。」乃J28nB220_p0789c27云:「古人道:『一年一解,一年一結,總是者事,不須多說,J28nB220_p0789c28蹋著秤錘硬似鐵。』龍門亦有個句子:一年一度解,一J28nB220_p0789c29年一度結,慇懃告與君,一棒頭腦裂,切忌眼中重著J28nB220_p0789c30楔。」
J28nB220_p0790a01管翁舒居士為母誕日請上堂問答不錄。師乃云:「欲識未J28nB220_p0790a02生面,當觀堅密身;了得堅密身,始知未生面。」遂豎拂J28nB220_p0790a03子,云:「者個是堅密身。」復擲下,云:「者個是未生面。若定J28nB220_p0790a04當得出,始知萬古青山只麼青,千年碧水仍還碧。秖J28nB220_p0790a05如今日陞座為梁氏夫人祝壽一句作麼生道?繡谷J28nB220_p0790a06峰頭紅日杲,龍門寺裏祝長年。」下座。
J28nB220_p0790a07上堂。「今朝臘月一,也須知端的,雪覆千山毛骨寒,火J28nB220_p0790a08生地爐血滴滴。血滴滴,誰是知音能掊析?若能分析J28nB220_p0790a09得出,即明得過去諸如來斯門已成就、現在諸菩薩J28nB220_p0790a10今各入圓明、未來修學人皆依如是住。」遂舉杖,云:「不J28nB220_p0790a11得動著,動著與他三十棒。畢竟如何?山僧不惜莖眉,J28nB220_p0790a12為諸人垂手看,一片袈裟撩搭起,街頭十字任縱橫。」J28nB220_p0790a13一卓,下座。
J28nB220_p0790a14解制,上堂。問:「百日內若有所得,頭上安頭;若無所得,J28nB220_p0790a15辜負今日。畢竟如何?」師云:「問取瞎漢去。」進云:「秖如世J28nB220_p0790a16尊已前、彌勒已後是何面目?」師云:「他無面目。」進云:「恁J28nB220_p0790a17麼則草鞋倒著去也。」師打,云:「承虛接響漢。」乃云:「世尊J28nB220_p0790a18已前,千聖不言;彌勒已後,諸祖難透。何故?無他下口J28nB220_p0790a19處。直饒透得徹骨徹髓,正好來喫龍門拄杖。何故?更J28nB220_p0790a20有向上一著在。其或未諳,仍舊墮在窠臼裏。山僧不J28nB220_p0790a21惜唇齒,向諸人開一線道:家家戶戶燈,逢人莫錯舉。」
J28nB220_p0790a22上堂。「安居禁足,依然逼塞彌天;出穴離巢,仍舊不離J28nB220_p0790a23當處。所以道:匣裏青蛇光燦爛,雲中師子足洪音。既J28nB220_p0790a24然如是,因甚有出有入聻?」一拂,云:「雖然有出入,原本J28nB220_p0790a25是一家。昔,有僧辭雪峰去參靈雲,乃問:『佛未出世時J28nB220_p0790a26如何?』雲豎起拂子。『出世後如何?』雲亦豎起拂子。其僧J28nB220_p0790a27卻回,雪峰云:『返太速乎?』僧云:『某甲問佛法不契。』峰云:J28nB220_p0790a28『汝問什麼?』僧舉前話,峰云:『汝問,我與汝道。』便問:『佛未J28nB220_p0790a29出世時如何?』峰豎起拂子。『出世後如何?』峰放下拂子。J28nB220_p0790a30僧禮拜,峰便打。」師拈云:「者兩個老漢憐兒不覺醜,可J28nB220_p0790b01惜者僧至今猶未知醜在。假如今日有問:『座元未出J28nB220_p0790b02關時如何?』山僧亦豎起拂子。『出關後如何?』山僧亦放J28nB220_p0790b03下拂子。你諸人且道:山僧與古人是同?是別?倘未知J28nB220_p0790b04得端倪,且向牧恒座元處與諸人道破。」下座。
J28nB220_p0790b05因事,上堂。「七尺烏藤用得奇,徹頭徹尾露真機,掀翻J28nB220_p0790b06窠臼重拈出,敲佛打魔恰得宜。窺未透,莫狐疑,走向J28nB220_p0790b07他家傍竹籬,雞棲鳳巢終是異,玅高峰頂豈能窺?」一J28nB220_p0790b08喝,下座。
J28nB220_p0790b09五通作祟,師以杖擊碎焚之,上堂。「昨日說五通,今朝J28nB220_p0790b10燒五通,地方從此振,事事悉昌隆。眾中有知昨日今J28nB220_p0790b11朝意旨者麼?」僧問:「佛照也恁麼,丹霞也恁麼,和尚也J28nB220_p0790b12恁麼,意旨如何?」師云:「咸教天下太平。」進云:「既是五通,J28nB220_p0790b13因甚被火燒卻?」師云:「正是五通。」進云:「橫按鏌邪全正J28nB220_p0790b14令,元來當斬不平人。」師云:「且喜闍黎領話。」僧作禮,師J28nB220_p0790b15乃云:「橫按鏌邪全正令,提綱當斬不平人,爍地光天J28nB220_p0790b16生燦爛,頓令邪怪絕煙塵。諸仁者!五通被山僧燒卻,J28nB220_p0790b17且道山僧有甚長處?」以杖打[○@吽]相,云:「我為法王,於法J28nB220_p0790b18自在。」一喝,下座。
J28nB220_p0790b19師誕辰上堂,問:「玉燭輝煌騰卍字,紅輪光燦正東升,J28nB220_p0790b20如何是知命意?」師云:「東山呈曙色,萬壑悉光明。」進云:J28nB220_p0790b21「五旬一萬八千日,逗到今朝是正筵,且道與昔日同J28nB220_p0790b22別若何?」師云:「文不加點。」進云:「當陽鐵樹花開別,不與J28nB220_p0790b23人間色相齊。」師云:「仁者自生分別。」乃拈杖云:「赤條條,J28nB220_p0790b24本自飽滿;孤迥迥,幾曾饑卻?有時高高峰頂棒,破青J28nB220_p0790b25天吐紅日;有時深深海底,喝起泥牛耕玉浪。者裏會J28nB220_p0790b26得,自然量等虛空界,示等虛空法,證得虛空時,無是J28nB220_p0790b27無非法。既無是又無非,扇子𨁝跳上三十三天,觸著J28nB220_p0790b28帝釋鼻孔,東海鯉魚打一棒,雨似盆傾。其或擬議,未J28nB220_p0790b29免向虛空裏釘橛去也。」復舉:「大慧老人一日挂牌入J28nB220_p0790b30室,慧問妙總尼:『古人不出方丈,為什麼卻去庄上喫J28nB220_p0790c01油餈?』尼云:『和尚放玅總過,方敢通個消息。』慧云:『我放J28nB220_p0790c02你過,試道看。』尼云:『玅總亦放和尚過。』慧云:『爭奈油餈J28nB220_p0790c03何?』尼一喝便出,於是聲聞四方。今日無瑕尼送大衣J28nB220_p0790c04入山,山僧也不掛牌,無瑕亦不入室,設若有問,山僧J28nB220_p0790c05代無瑕云:『和尚不得說夢。』便行。不但截斷古人葛藤,J28nB220_p0790c06亦免向油餈上作活計。會麼?」一卓云:「分明不在春枝J28nB220_p0790c07上,賣盡風流人不知。」下座。
J28nB220_p0790c08眉劍首座請上堂。僧問:「遇境逢緣即不問,慶生一句J28nB220_p0790c09請師宣。」師云:「燈燭交輝,人境互換。」進云:「父母未生前,J28nB220_p0790c10如何是和尚本來面目?」師云:「威音那畔不如我。」「如何J28nB220_p0790c11是已生的本來面目?」師云:「那畔威音我不如。」進云:「臨J28nB220_p0790c12濟宗旨縱奪分明,如何是奪人不奪境?」師云:「月印前J28nB220_p0790c13朝寺,蒼階虛自明。」「如何是奪境不奪人?」師云:「牧童歌J28nB220_p0790c14遠調,方識老山深。」「如何是人境兩俱奪?」師云:「白日西J28nB220_p0790c15山墜,長安緊閉門。」「如何是人境俱不奪?」師云:「聖主臨J28nB220_p0790c16寶殿,野老盡相親。」進云:「蒙師指出秦時鏡,照破無生J28nB220_p0790c17劫外春。」師云:「非汝境界。」乃云:「首座為我慶生,兼啟山J28nB220_p0790c18僧說法,若有法可說,卻成世諦流布;若無法可說,未J28nB220_p0790c19免取笑虛設。所以道:不見有人境互換,生滅、長短、動J28nB220_p0790c20靜無虧,全身荷負。眉劍首座隨侍山僧一十六載,癸J28nB220_p0790c21巳秋命守同安院事,于中經歷寒暑,志興祖席,道業、J28nB220_p0790c22行業宛若冰霜,累被風波,毫無移易,今特山僧五旬J28nB220_p0790c23遠來慶祝。雖然如是,且不涉景緣一句作麼生道?愧J28nB220_p0790c24慚半百等閑度,喫盡風霜耐歲寒。」下座。
J28nB220_p0790c25九日,上堂。「三玄三要事難分,得意忘言道易親,一句J28nB220_p0790c26明明該萬象,重陽九日菊花新。菊花既新,還有知時J28nB220_p0790c27應節者麼?」僧問:「處處笙歌吹落帽,家家鼓樂宴龍山,J28nB220_p0790c28如何是值時應節句?」師云:「幾點重陽雨,洗出透靈源。」J28nB220_p0790c29進云:「重陽佳節蒙師指,展翅鶤鵬事若何?」師云:「拔萃J28nB220_p0790c30衝霄添瑞氣,超群獨步助春風。」進云:「恁麼則許淵明J28nB220_p0791a01折一枝去也。」師云:「喜得上座領話。」僧禮拜,師乃云:「從J28nB220_p0791a02上來建法幢、立宗旨,秖為紹隆佛種,接待後昆,山僧J28nB220_p0791a03縵網張鉤,倚望撈得一個半個,撐持祖道,法社增輝,J28nB220_p0791a04不意監院慎獨不遠千里,山僧一見已知脫皮換骨,J28nB220_p0791a05今日撾鼓集眾,只得兩手分付。且道付個什麼?龍門J28nB220_p0791a06一派曹溪水,今古滔滔話不窮,獨許慎公吸一滴,頓J28nB220_p0791a07教陸地起蒼龍。」下座。
J28nB220_p0791a08結制,上堂。「最初一句子,眉下甚分明,鼻孔原向下,何J28nB220_p0791a09勞別處尋?既不別處尋,今日因甚牽累山僧?奈你個J28nB220_p0791a10個仰天覓地,把水求火,將靈然一段光明自己埋沒,J28nB220_p0791a11豈不知盡大地是個禪堂,返去他處棲遲,可謂無繩J28nB220_p0791a12自縛?今日事不獲已,只好將錯就錯,且向長連床上J28nB220_p0791a13豎起脊梁,緊捏繩頭,看是什麼道理?切須逼得通身J28nB220_p0791a14汗下,絕後再甦,失腳井中摝得一個紅爛鐵錘也不J28nB220_p0791a15可知。」顧左右,云:「喚甚麼作紅爛鐵錘?」眾無語,師云:「如J28nB220_p0791a16鴨聞雷。」拽杖,下座。
J28nB220_p0791a17解制,上堂。「百日期滿,眉毛放下,眾中有收因結果者J28nB220_p0791a18麼?出來為你證據。若論此事,不言而信、不動而彰,其J28nB220_p0791a19靜也翕、其動也闢,語其大,天下莫能載;語其小,天下J28nB220_p0791a20莫能破。因什麼有九旬禁足、三月安居?蓋為諸人不J28nB220_p0791a21肯向己躬下討個消息,如逼蛇化龍,一場笑具。眾中J28nB220_p0791a22還有不甘者麼?也是茅山土地。」

J28nB220_p0791a25陞座,拈香祝J28nB220_p0791a26聖罷,師云:「山僧八月赴雲居,難卻從前三次書,去住任J28nB220_p0791a27緣酬宿債,偏來越阜釣龍魚。」僧問:「越山高頂,冰壺發J28nB220_p0791a28焰,和尚向者裏釣個甚麼?」師云:「釣卻也不知。」進云:「如J28nB220_p0791a29何便脫去?」師云:「截斷命根。」乃云:「雲居、越山本無差別,J28nB220_p0791a30者邊、那邊從來不異,秖為諸人節外生枝,不能脫於J28nB220_p0791b01網釣。」遂豎拂子,云:「若向者裏會得,任他絲垂千尺、網J28nB220_p0791b02布漫天,縱具尚父之手、得養由之能,依然是陸地尋J28nB220_p0791b03魚、水中覓兔,亦撈摝伊不著,直須向空王殿裏尋出J28nB220_p0791b04無依道人、越山頂上摩著沒相鼻孔,者回方許喫山J28nB220_p0791b05僧拄杖。今朝達公監院請住寶蓮,舉揚個事。正與麼J28nB220_p0791b06時,且高歌迎瑞、共樂清平一句作麼生道?」以杖卓,云:J28nB220_p0791b07「眼耳頓開天地小,萬象森羅拱北宸。」靠杖,下座。
J28nB220_p0791b08結制,陞座。師云:「晉公居士設齋,寶蓮寺裏結制,雖則J28nB220_p0791b09法喜禪悅,正要諸人瞥地。教中道:其施汝者,不名福J28nB220_p0791b10田;供養汝者,墮三惡道。且道:針鋒頭上,文殊、普賢勞J28nB220_p0791b11攘個什麼?波斯照古鏡。」
J28nB220_p0791b12陞座。「纔見結制,今日又解,雪光和燦爛,瑞氣湧三台,J28nB220_p0791b13且喜青山洗出,玉樹消融,萬籟絕響,堂中悄靜。適纔J28nB220_p0791b14侍者道:『恭喜大眾都得根本智。』山僧劈脊一棒,且道J28nB220_p0791b15是賞你?罰你?」復卓,云:「不見道:庭前生瑞草,好事不如J28nB220_p0791b16無。」一喝,下座。
