J26nB181_p0342a05李耳聃者,生衰周,仕為柱下史,身隱市朝之中,通朝J26nB181_p0342a06莫詰其行藏,獨蒙莊評為古之博大真人,孔子復以J26nB181_p0342a07尤龍見稱,意聃善言道德,蛻委大化,如龍之出此入J26nB181_p0342a08彼,非飛非躍,時而淵潛、時而天在,時而雲行、時而雨J26nB181_p0342a09施,蓋神變不測人也。然聃死,而秦失弔之,固未嘗求J26nB181_p0342a10異夫人間世者,後世聽熒,遂謂老聃騎青牛出函關J26nB181_p0342a11殆仙去云。皋亭浪杖人滑稽善辯:「為世有騎牛不下J26nB181_p0342a12之夫?」別刱一論曰:「老子蓋出關化牛而去。」由是證佐J26nB181_p0342a13龍山「我見兩箇泥牛鬥入海,直至如今不見蹤」之語J26nB181_p0342a14實之。且謂嬾瓚之不為俗人拭涕、華亭之蹋翻船子、J26nB181_p0342a15亮公之遯入千巖萬壑無尋處,皆善用九六,不為首J26nB181_p0342a16尾所累者。予謂泥牛鬥海自當別論,若龍山、船子輩,J26nB181_p0342a17亦只自行其心耳!使徒悚首尾之累而固為是硜硜J26nB181_p0342a18焉者,不幾乎藏頭露尾之人哉?安在為能善用九六J26nB181_p0342a19者?無已則有我愚菴老子在,請得而借鏡焉可乎?
愚J26nB181_p0342a20菴老子者,三宜盂禪師也。師以蘇張之舌,肆張大慧J26nB181_p0342a21之譚,機辯縱橫、詞鋒踔厲,演為偈頌詩歌,莫不妙絕J26nB181_p0342a22當時,疑古來洞上之師,如師者未可一二數也。然往J26nB181_p0342a23往以遊戲三昧行心,有時玄挺高提,鞭笞龍象,則傑J26nB181_p0342a24號師王;有時契經廣說,聳聽人天,則雄稱義虎。時而J26nB181_p0342a25躬默思道;時而拍手行歌;時而棲遲嵒壑之中;時而J26nB181_p0342a26放浪湖山之內。夜叉頭、菩薩面固已齣齣翻新矣!乃J26nB181_p0342a27當申酉變故之後,六橋華柳已敗、西湖歌舞且休,獨J26nB181_p0342a28割衣資,刱別業于西泠之左。雕甍繡闥,紅楯朱欄,幾J26nB181_p0342a29希乎洛下名園,而俗宦、拘儒、嗇夫、醉漢日連袂來遊,J26nB181_p0342a30載讙載譊、或嘲或譙,師方陶陶陽陽,儼奉一摩耶夫J26nB181_p0342b01人于二天之上,十旬休夏為之開宗明義,殊不知為J26nB181_p0342b02不知己者詬厲有如此也。雖師倜儻不羇乎而誼重J26nB181_p0342b03交情,今秋戊戌,師且登六旬,髮已種種矣!意有所之,J26nB181_p0342b04念予不置,竟破夏發錢唐截江而來。適海波未平,道J26nB181_p0342b05途梗塞,舟車為遊徼所奪,乃趼足走五百里訪予太J26nB181_p0342b06白山中。快譚數日,深嗟晚葉法門近事,不覺抆淚而J26nB181_p0342b07別。因回想師一往動履,非有隱山、西山之高尚;嬾瓚、J26nB181_p0342b08船子之孤標;酒仙遇泉大道之徉狂垢汙,亦直自行J26nB181_p0342b09其心耳!然當世卒莫得以聖凡名貌貌之;莫得以名場J26nB181_p0342b10利藪釣弋之,概未嘗硜硜用九六,而首尾自無可累J26nB181_p0342b11者,其殆神變不測,所謂猶龍者是邪非邪?問之玄冥J26nB181_p0342b12玄冥不知;問之參寥參寥不知;問之疑始疑始不知。J26nB181_p0342b13或曰:「非問諸愚菴老子不可。」予曰:「得之矣!至若他日J26nB181_p0342b14之或騎牛仙去;或死而來,秦失之弔也又何問焉?」
壽龍池萬和尚六旬序
J26nB181_p0342b16魯儒之言曰:「人生而靜,性之德也。」感于物而精搖神J26nB181_p0342b17蕩焉!是以不終其天年而中道夭。惟仁者靜而有常J26nB181_p0342b18故壽也,則致壽之道在乎人。
箕子陳〈洪範〉、〈九疇〉之訓J26nB181_p0342b19曰:「惟君能建極,臣與民能奉極,天乃錫之厚福。」既獲J26nB181_p0342b20多福矣!非壽莫享,故嚮用五福而壽居先甲焉!則予J26nB181_p0342b21壽之權本諸天。或者疑焉而致詰之曰:「天如可問,胡J26nB181_p0342b22跖而長;人如可期,曷回而短?」遂六宇同昏,悠悠萬世J26nB181_p0342b23卒莫知其解者。於是有大覺聖人者出焉!為之推本J26nB181_p0342b24而極言之,而後知群生之來非一世矣!過由無始於J26nB181_p0342b25一真法界之內,不覺岐分能所,故爾虛空橫亙,身世J26nB181_p0342b26崢嶸,業異而報亦殊焉!惑為業本,真為惑依,苟能一J26nB181_p0342b27念之間洞徹真元,則死生見謝、今古情亡,了本無性,J26nB181_p0342b28得性自在;達本無命,得命自在。以了達性命得自在J26nB181_p0342b29故,然後短長可以任物、真俗不妨隨緣,此靈山家法J26nB181_p0342b30也。
壬辰冬季,余退道峰寓,婁婁諸善信以來歲午月J26nB181_p0342c01之吉,為法兄龍池萬和尚六旬初度,求所以壽夫師J26nB181_p0342c02者不得其詞,因丐言於予。予謂:「師上承靈山六十九J26nB181_p0342c03葉之真傳,為天童先師嫡胤,其于一真之本、性命之J26nB181_p0342c04元,已洞若觀火矣!彼方海漚沙界,電拂聖賢,而我尤J26nB181_p0342c05以人間區區甲子循環,春秋代謝,為之援天引人而J26nB181_p0342c06支詞蔓說焉!得無鐫鳥跡於空中、繪魚蹤於水底也J26nB181_p0342c07邪?雖然,壽身易,壽世難;壽世易,壽法難。夫師出檇李、J26nB181_p0342c08起如菴,化闡閩吳▆知歸向。垂手湖海江湘,則入彀J26nB181_p0342c09皆英俊、奔騰盡象龍。坐荊谿十年未嘗言,言滿天下,J26nB181_p0342c10天下舉識與不識,言龍池即知為師。師之壽世顧不J26nB181_p0342c11大與?師之壽法顧不長與?」方今叢林列剎相望,非無J26nB181_p0342c12暴得聲名如秋雨之方集者,然僅砥行矯節于一時,J26nB181_p0342c13究其終也立涸而已,至使人扼腕而咨嗟曰:「某某亦J26nB181_p0342c14奇衲子,但晚年謬耳!」如此則俾之凶短折,是謂福之J26nB181_p0342c15益之壽考,奚補法門哉?若師者真可以壽矣!
△壽古歙爾承吳君六秩序
J26nB181_p0342c17劫初生人壽皆八十千歲,住阿僧祇年。逮行十惡則J26nB181_p0342c18百年減一,千年減十,漸次衰減,止餘十歲時間,繼膺J26nB181_p0342c19饑疫刀屠之災,國城空廢人類幾殫,而後善法方興J26nB181_p0342c20重見豐樂,展轉行善壽益增延至二十千歲,乃至八J26nB181_p0342c21十千歲。如是增減數周二十,則有一大火災起,上炎J26nB181_p0342c22梵世,下及大千,焚蕩無餘,謂之器世間已壞。次成而J26nB181_p0342c23住、次壞而空。如是七火一水,七水一風,三禪非固、六J26nB181_p0342c24欲奚堅?
哀我矜人,從無始至今身,蓋不知嘗幾大小J26nB181_p0342c25之災、歷幾塵沙之劫也。嗟!謠俗見聞不超聲色,世儒J26nB181_p0342c26置六合之外而不論,彼中天五印之區莫紀厥詳,責J26nB181_p0342c27以窮神曠古,又烏怪其溟涬弟之哉?唯能仁智周無J26nB181_p0342c28際、視昔尤今,所以經稱七佛次第出興,始于人壽八J26nB181_p0342c29萬歲時,洎人壽三萬二萬歲時出,至釋迦出衰周,則J26nB181_p0342c30已歲不盈百矣!
輪王久不作,戾氣日于和,以至診候J26nB181_p0343a01無徵、雩祈失效。俄霜戈以刃接、忽星劍而鋒交,酷毒J26nB181_p0343a02生人崩亡殆盡,苟非植眾德本,其在于今雖負猗生J26nB181_p0343a03煮海之謀、郭氏冶山之策,家有金谷,貴埒五侯,愈恐J26nB181_p0343a04孽禍而胎憂。求其青氈如故,玉樹成行,登耳順之年,J26nB181_p0343a05來純嘏之錫,如天都爾承吳君者,所謂百城而見一J26nB181_p0343a06者也。說者謂君多材多藝,達而能慮、果而知權,富而J26nB181_p0343a07好行其德。推君之孝于以事君,則靖恭爾位;推君之J26nB181_p0343a08和衷于以端揆百僚,則好是正直;推君濟人利物之J26nB181_p0343a09懷于以子黎元育萬方,則所好必與聚、所惡必勿施。J26nB181_p0343a10計然之策七,蠡用其五而霸越,既已施之國,復欲用J26nB181_p0343a11之家,乃治產積居,於一十九年之中三致千金焉!唯J26nB181_p0343a12君師蠡祖計然,能擇人而任時,故雖屢折凶烽、數臻J26nB181_p0343a13饒裕,然失之不為慍、得之不為矜。推君皇皇之雅度J26nB181_p0343a14于以託乃股肱、寄乃心膂,則必臨寵辱而不驚其神J26nB181_p0343a15者也。惜以家政隳科名,不獲用之家者施諸國耳!
夫J26nB181_p0343a16崑炎石化,玉豈孤堅?方國家運膺百六之窮,彼淺艸J26nB181_p0343a17易為長蘆者已不勝霜摧雪拉之虞矣!獨君如黃海J26nB181_p0343a18蒼松,生丹嵒翠壁間,根無以飲乎黃泉、葉僅止披乎J26nB181_p0343a19風露,千盤其蓋、百曲其枝,若弗克遂其蕩日摩雲之J26nB181_p0343a20勢者。然而忝嶽色壯遊觀,唯松獨也宜然,則所以使J26nB181_p0343a21君嗇其施者,其蓋欲君豐其受乎!
予餐霞味道之夫,J26nB181_p0343a22未遑晉交乎君,而識君之長君蘭根甫于邗原。噫!蘭J26nB181_p0343a23之為蘭也,其因君幽谷哉!
壽德輝何君六旬序
J26nB181_p0343a25粵稽古往牒,聖若賢之樹德立功于時也,恆見于垂J26nB181_p0343a26暮之年。故雖天縱如尼宣,使不臻七十,將聖而不神J26nB181_p0343a27矣!雖奇謀如▆尚,使不登八十,將終老磻谿而無以J26nB181_p0343a28奏鷹揚之績矣!豈不壽也者為五福之徵,而生人之J26nB181_p0343a29所欲必得者乎?然世有非聖非賢、非忠非孝,而託于J26nB181_p0343a30忠孝聖賢之倫者,寧獨新莽早夭,可盜姬周之名?即J26nB181_p0343b01鵠立永嘉德祐之朝,豈無洋洋節義自多之君子?苟J26nB181_p0343b02其溘先朝露,將恐王蠋不得擅美于前、蘇武不至煢J26nB181_p0343b03芳于後也。及乎鼎湖龍去、宗廟丘墟,向之鳳翥鸞鳴J26nB181_p0343b04者相率而化為鶉為鶩,則是成人者古稀而敗人者J26nB181_p0343b05又黃耇。何也?
於乎!疾風之下,難為勁艸,故欲傲雪淩J26nB181_p0343b06霜,必也翠柏蒼松而後可。近吾于布衣中得一人焉,J26nB181_p0343b07曰德輝何君者。君世族新安,播遷于宛,父早棄諸孤,J26nB181_p0343b08家日替零,以至黃鳥可歌、鶺鴒堪歎。君乃毅然舍所J26nB181_p0343b09學而經商淮甸,遂由始有而至少有,由少有而至富J26nB181_p0343b10有,還為父相幽宅、為昆弟諸姪鳩集厥家,卒怡如一J26nB181_p0343b11堂之上焉!謂君非大有為之士,而能振興若是乎?
既J26nB181_p0343b12而清師渡淮,君度江南必亂,復舍所居積走宛保母。J26nB181_p0343b13及淮北安堵諸商復業,君獨奉母不來。噫嘻人情,重J26nB181_p0343b14棄財、輕趨利,此溫嶠之所以絕裾、朱公子之所以誠J26nB181_p0343b15有不能忍也,況君食苦為生難甘以一母之故棄若J26nB181_p0343b16敝屣?君真天下士耳!豈曰貨殖中人哉?
君而貨殖,其J26nB181_p0343b17天下之不幸乎!蓋天下之大也,需才臣而後治;廟社J26nB181_p0343b18之崇也,需節孝之臣而後有所託。以君之才,遇主於J26nB181_p0343b19巷,必能為君增其式廓;以君之節孝,當乘輿憂虞之J26nB181_p0343b20日,必能殺身成仁,以從君于九天之上。君而貨殖,此J26nB181_p0343b21天下之所以大不幸乎!雖然,今君始六旬耳,安知八J26nB181_p0343b22十不有磻谿之遇哉?請得以是為君祝焉!
壽賓梧程君六十序
J26nB181_p0343b24歲在甲午三月暮春朔有七日,為天都程君賓梧大J26nB181_p0343b25長者六十初度之辰。是日也,巖壑生芳、園林錯繡,紫J26nB181_p0343b26煙霏南陌、旭日麗千門。池塘梳楊柳,澹澹之風;院落J26nB181_p0343b27點梨華,輕輕之雨。歸巢舊燕,俯廉冪以雙窺;出谷新J26nB181_p0343b28鶯,遷高枝而百囀。于是君之親姻、宗黨、故舊、賓從,既J26nB181_p0343b29欣嘉運、復慶芳時,莫不相與挈壺觴、酌春酒以介君J26nB181_p0343b30之眉壽者。
君尤子扶漢膚敏士也,以為玉帛皇皇、磬J26nB181_p0343c01莞將將,徒周章乎耳目耳?念欲須君不朽,非言不可,J26nB181_p0343c02乃即予徵詞焉!予進扶漢而告之曰:「維我閻浮南州,J26nB181_p0343c03上壽一百二十五、中壽一百、下壽六十,尚不足以望J26nB181_p0343c04鬱單越之千齡,況四王之九百萬歲、忉利之三億六J26nB181_p0343c05十萬歲,乃至他化之九百二十一億六百萬歲哉?」然J26nB181_p0343c06閻浮獨以三事。一者、勇猛彊記能造諸業。二者、勇猛J26nB181_p0343c07彊記勤修梵行。三者、勇猛彊記佛出其土。勝彼六天J26nB181_p0343c08下,此三洲又奚問焉?故必有勝人之行,斯可以壽矣!J26nB181_p0343c09君行謂何?扶漢載言於予曰:「山君牧山,而後寶藏貨J26nB181_p0343c10財之繁殖斯詳焉;水王王海,而後黿鼉蛟龍魚鱉之J26nB181_p0343c11廣生乃竟焉。人盡戴天也,而不知其高;人盡履地也,J26nB181_p0343c12而不知其厚。夫余于年父亦尤是也,第彷彿而得其J26nB181_p0343c13大都,則仁能推恩,故丘母有橋;孝能錫類,故殉孝有J26nB181_p0343c14子、守貞有媳;勇能果敢,故奸發大憝而除通國之蠹;J26nB181_p0343c15信能不侵然諾,故貲運千里而歸鄧氏生寄之金;智J26nB181_p0343c16能知人善任使,故所託皆忠謹,而無隳事失墜之虞。J26nB181_p0343c17若乃決機應變以濟世之艱危、攄素推誠以通人之J26nB181_p0343c18蘊塞,節儉持身、澹泊明志、堅忍厲操、謙光接物,則闔J26nB181_p0343c19國知聞,抑余小子又不勝其言之也。」
噫!予聞之先民J26nB181_p0343c20曰:「唯奢損福,祿盡斯亡。」以君素封之家,乃有儉德焉!J26nB181_p0343c21又聞之契經曰:「慈母于恆河救子,兒母俱沒,得生梵J26nB181_p0343c22天。」矧君孝母,津濟無窮,過此以往君齡必臻上壽,然J26nB181_p0343c23後乘天宮殿高升梵世,方將與天地相終始、日月同J26nB181_p0343c24久長,區區人間春秋甲子,又烏足為君道哉?
壽廣陵蔣母孺人序
J26nB181_p0343c26孔子之為門弟子言孝也廣矣!獨于色養無違之外,J26nB181_p0343c27別垂一訓曰:「父母之年不可不知也,一則以喜,一則J26nB181_p0343c28以懼。」所以悚惕乎人子者,真有凄然凜然不勝風燈J26nB181_p0343c29命脆之虞、薤露易晞之感,俾凡孝思可展者,宜無不J26nB181_p0343c30殫其力焉!然山舟藏而罔固、壑澤負而能移,蓼莪之J26nB181_p0344a01浩歎方興、小菀之憂傷已甚,抑安能使夫春萱不老、J26nB181_p0344a02秋實靡凋;菽水之歡終年膝下、斑衣之舞長自婆娑J26nB181_p0344a03也哉?此則可問諸天而難必之人矣!
廣陵同菴蔣先J26nB181_p0344a04生者,高文懿德,博學深思,其今世之傳經劉向而抗J26nB181_p0344a05疏匡衡者與!獨才廣數奇,至九乃中丙科,則龍蛇起J26nB181_p0344a06陸、戎馬生郊,倉卒之間僅奉一母走江上,流離播遷J26nB181_p0344a07者踰年,及至復我邦族,則三徑久已就荒、松菊幾無J26nB181_p0344a08條肄,尤且忘己之貧、急人之難,破產廢居,一枝莫寄,J26nB181_p0344a09至賃僧廬以容膝矣!先生無悔焉!采菊東籬下、闔戶J26nB181_p0344a10日高眠,寧直不為五斗米折腰!不為王刺史酺其糟、J26nB181_p0344a11歠其醨,雖有同薦于鄉之郡使,君曾無寸楮達殷勤、J26nB181_p0344a12片言修舊好。夫妻臣妾日稯稯然,典衣縮食求給乎J26nB181_p0344a13甘毳者,知有將母來諗而已。審其愛日之誠,殆將一J26nB181_p0344a14刻值如千金、如尺璧、如寸珠,而罔敢少弛焉者。
乃今J26nB181_p0344a15歲丁酉,母孺人竟登九十矣!耳聰可以審樂、目明可J26nB181_p0344a16以刺繡。自今伊始,其為先生酌春酒、介眉壽者,又不J26nB181_p0344a17知幾千萬億觴焉?異哉!人生七十古已云稀,況願乎J26nB181_p0344a18其外?況當今日真淳已散、大樸無存,雲氣不待族而J26nB181_p0344a19雨、草木不待黃而落,孺人顧獨享有殊福,而獲此過J26nB181_p0344a20量之年哉!或曰:「先生之父為三我先生。三我先生者,J26nB181_p0344a21言語必信,經德不回,動容周旋中禮。孺人既已思齋J26nB181_p0344a22思媚,克相克承,無違夫子矣!使今富貴不能忘,軒車J26nB181_p0344a23尤在,念先生且奈何?乃能安貧而成先生之志、樂賤J26nB181_p0344a24而遂先生之高,所謂孟光婦而實范滂母者也。德厚J26nB181_p0344a25而福臻,壽也固宜。」予曰:「然!」然則孟光與范母固咸有J26nB181_p0344a26一德,豈盡如岡如陵眉壽無有害者乎?而非然也。夫J26nB181_p0344a27以高文博學之先生,不獲厚食其報,天固有慚德矣!J26nB181_p0344a28今茲竭誠慮甘窮餓者凡而為其母也,復不益之算J26nB181_p0344a29而傷其心焉?天則何辭而謝先生哉?不然,人命駛速,J26nB181_p0344a30速如川流,其孰能挽之?吾故曰:「此則可問之天而不J26nB181_p0344b01能必諸人者。」蓋以是夫。
壽毛伯華母七十序
J26nB181_p0344b03須迷盧半有天,鄰于日月之上者曰四天王。人間五J26nB181_p0344b04十年為彼天一晝夜;彼天一歲周,則人間萬八千年J26nB181_p0344b05矣!等而上之,欲天有六、禪天十八、無色界天有四,皆J26nB181_p0344b06倍倍增,況無色等極樂、極樂等勝蓮華國土,則又日J26nB181_p0344b07劫倍倍增。
噫!彼方電拂四王不啻,奚有于人間哉?雖J26nB181_p0344b08然,朝菌不知晦朔、蟪蛄不知春秋,然則人間百歲稱J26nB181_p0344b09曰「大年」不亦宜乎?
異哉!一真法界本無晷運,寧有歲J26nB181_p0344b10時?乃此劫波彼晝夜、此旦暮彼古今,又復何也?蓋由J26nB181_p0344b11群生識心有定亂,故世界成階差。苟能一念不生、前J26nB181_p0344b12後際斷,則剎那包十世、曠劫即如今矣!念既不生則J26nB181_p0344b13自有無作妙力,以之翻頭作尾則可迴過去世入見J26nB181_p0344b14在世,以之翻尾作頭則可移未來世置過去世,化裁J26nB181_p0344b15天地,長育群萌。直其能事之餘,于以壽吾親也,何有?
J26nB181_p0344b16婁東毛伯華,孝子也。始為鄉塾之師,以館糈養親焉J26nB181_p0344b17不足,繼學岐黃之術;以藝業養親焉不足,日夜籲天:J26nB181_p0344b18「儻餘生有子荊一朝之祐,願及親存而受之。親亡雖J26nB181_p0344b19與妻子轉溝壑,弗恤也。」今伯華稍能奉甘毳,則父喪J26nB181_p0344b20僅母存且七十矣!
嗟乎!孝子之至,莫大乎尊親;尊親J26nB181_p0344b21之至,莫大乎以天下養。伯華乃無緣及親存,與其未J26nB181_p0344b22衰之日,克承菽水歡哉?雖然資口體,何如益神明?夫J26nB181_p0344b23伯華固說吾祖菩提達磨之宗者也,果能內心無喘,J26nB181_p0344b24心如牆壁,一念緣起無生,則無作妙力自可施由親J26nB181_p0344b25始。不見玄沙之父捕魚為生,沒于閩江,當沙築指嶺J26nB181_p0344b26頭時,其父忽見身致謝曰:「吾以殺生害命墮冥塗,今J26nB181_p0344b27賴師悟道之力得生天矣!」況及母無恙時,使其垂老J26nB181_p0344b28而聞極則之語?優悠猒飫,坐臻斯道,方且與伯華長J26nB181_p0344b29揖四生,永辭三界。眎彼生沈諸趣展轉輪迴者,縱尊J26nB181_p0344b30為天子父,奉以天下養,吾知毛母必唾而棄之矣!七J26nB181_p0344c01十稱觴而猥曰:「壽乎哉!」
