J40nB475_p0039c02帝王應運而興,必有名世之人輔贊J40nB475_p0039c03皇猷,不特攀龍附鳳之儔匡襄左右,J40nB475_p0039c04即方外釋氏,莫不有特立通達之士J40nB475_p0039c05陰翊王度,藻潤太平之治化也。
J40nB475_p0039c06盛朝開國以來,我J40nB475_p0039c07世祖章皇帝既表彰六經,丕揚聖教,乃於J40nB475_p0039c08萬機之暇,J40nB475_p0039c09敕封大覺、弘覺兩禪師,安禪蕉園,時被J40nB475_p0039c10顧問。J40nB475_p0039c11今上聖天子纘緒前烈,留神空宗,憂世J40nB475_p0039c12覺人之心,真親受靈山囑付,現身金J40nB475_p0039c13輪,闡揚大教者哉!肇不敏,承乏詞垣,J40nB475_p0039c14伏讀中秘方策,經史之外,有禪典、傳J40nB475_p0039c15燈、會元諸書,大約載禪有五宗,若溈J40nB475_p0039c16仰、雲門、法眼已與宋運俱終,惟曹洞、J40nB475_p0039c17臨濟至今久而愈茂,所謂二枝嫩桂J40nB475_p0039c18久昌昌也。然濟宗貴覿面全提,而洞J40nB475_p0040a01宗則以綿密回互為要旨,故今之稱J40nB475_p0040a02洞宗者,顯聖澄、壽昌經為最。經旺於J40nB475_p0040a03江西,澄盛於三浙,澄傳七人,弁山瑞、J40nB475_p0040a04白雪其選也,雪三傳逕庭宗禪師出J40nB475_p0040a05焉。慨自有宋慈明示寂,清湘法道數J40nB475_p0040a06百年寥寥無聞,J40nB475_p0040a07國家鼎興,粵西文運首推吾全,姻親戚J40nB475_p0040a08里後先登J40nB475_p0040a09朝,皆已驤首J40nB475_p0040a10天衢,黽勉J40nB475_p0040a11王事。獨山間林下,未聞釋氏之徒蹶然J40nB475_p0040a12興起,不幾仰負J40nB475_p0040a13聖天子闡揚宗教之盛心哉?爰有博士J40nB475_p0040a14弟子鳴岐唐公,與宗師為方外莫逆,J40nB475_p0040a15願布囊金為給孤主,相陰陽,觀流泉,J40nB475_p0040a16擇吉壤,建南源梵剎以居師。由是德J40nB475_p0040a17風遠屆,瓶錫雲從,佛宇僧寮,隨方湧J40nB475_p0040a18出,華鯨魚鼓,嚮徹青霄。夏則結制安J40nB475_p0040b01禪,冬乃開爐打七。陞堂問道,龍象蹁J40nB475_p0040b02躚;入室垂機,狻猊蹈舞,而語錄集焉。J40nB475_p0040b03盛矣哉!慈明之後,釋氏蹶然興起者,J40nB475_p0040b04非師也耶?歷主望剎,延化周圓,師亦J40nB475_p0040b05倦於津梁,歸真返寂矣。康熙乙酉蒲J40nB475_p0040b06月,昌期游戎,唐公之季子也,繼志述J40nB475_p0040b07事,聿刊師錄,附藏流通,郵書都下,乞J40nB475_p0040b08予序其簡端。予固不文,然不敢以不J40nB475_p0040b09文辭者,喜吾全得師而宗風熾然,使J40nB475_p0040b10後之燈傳不絕,陰翊王度,蓋自師重J40nB475_p0040b11興始。

J40nB475_p0041a04康熙壬寅年,師在永州府零陵縣嶷山,受粵西全州J40nB475_p0041a05眾檀護及唐鳴岐偕男庭俊、倫俊、之俊、三俊、應俊等J40nB475_p0041a06請,開南源洪聖禪寺,於八月初四日入院。
J40nB475_p0041a07上堂。師至座前,拈疏召眾,曰:「會麼?曹溪密旨、少室心J40nB475_p0041a08宗,盡向大護法筆尖頭顯露了也。如有未見未聞者,J40nB475_p0041a09仰煩維那表白。」宣畢,以拄杖指座,曰:「向上一路,千聖J40nB475_p0041a10齊立下風,看宗上座為諸人當陽顯露去也。」便陞。拈J40nB475_p0041a11香,曰:「者瓣香,至貴至尊、至廣至大,端為祝延J40nB475_p0041a12當今皇帝萬歲、萬歲、萬萬歲。」次拈香,曰:「者瓣香,奉為滿J40nB475_p0041a13朝文武、闔國公卿、本省督撫憲臺藩臬司道府州縣J40nB475_p0041a14鎮各位尊官,伏願保合泰和,衍鳴珂於百世;匡扶鼎J40nB475_p0041a15運,固磐石於萬邦。」又拈香,曰:「者瓣香,根盤劫外、葉茂J40nB475_p0041a16寰中,奉為現前請主、耆宿檀那齊登正覺之場,均履J40nB475_p0041a17菩提之道。」復於懷中拈出香,曰:「此瓣香,烈如鴆毒,沾J40nB475_p0041a18之則死不移時;利似霜鋒,觸之則喪不旋踵。爇向爐J40nB475_p0041a19中,顓伸供養J40nB475_p0041a20現住嶷山祝聖堂上傳曹洞正宗三十世J40nB475_p0041a21握中符大和尚,用酬法乳之恩。」斂衣,就座。參頭白椎,J40nB475_p0041a22曰:「法筵龍象眾,當觀第一義。」師震聲一喝,曰:「聲前薦J40nB475_p0041a23得,落二落三;棒下承當,錯千錯萬。縱饒口吞佛祖、眼J40nB475_p0041a24蓋乾坤,拈法界於針鋒、置須彌於毛孔,猶是南源門J40nB475_p0041a25下客作漢。還有當家種草麼?」問:「盈盈杲日正當陽,獅J40nB475_p0041a26子嚬呻百獸藏,報國開堂即不問,度人玅法請師揚。」J40nB475_p0041a27師曰:「光輝遍界更無私。」曰:「一葉落,天下秋;一塵起,大J40nB475_p0041a28地收。因甚學人袈裟角收不得?」師曰:「自領出去。」曰:「白J40nB475_p0041a29鶴本是凡間鳥,不遇蒼松定不棲。」師曰:「鈍。」曰:「秪如山J40nB475_p0041a30河大地、草木叢林,借學人臥具出氣又作麼生?」師便J40nB475_p0041b01打,僧便喝;師又打,僧又喝;師連棒打退。乃曰:「寶鏡當J40nB475_p0041b02軒,神鋒大展,祖佛俱泯、凡聖齊捐,碎明月珠、拆空王J40nB475_p0041b03殿,剷盡五家糟粕、刮除二桂玄猷,直得虎驟龍驤、鸞J40nB475_p0041b04翔舞鳳,峰巒雲靄、霄漢光騰。秪如祝J40nB475_p0041b05聖開堂一句又作麼生?四海盡歸王化裏,何人不唱太J40nB475_p0041b06平歌?」復舉:「握老人命開堂偈曰:『師表人天百萬圍,古J40nB475_p0041b07今不異任全威,弘開爐韝烹龍象,大用楗椎決是非。J40nB475_p0041b08電卷星馳平帖帖,水窮山盡獨巍巍,從來佛祖行難J40nB475_p0041b09到,卻許南源格外機。』宗上座亦勉和一偈以復來命:J40nB475_p0041b10『桂蕊芬芳嶺外圍,謹承師命仗餘威,烏藤倒卓驚三J40nB475_p0041b11楚,麈尾橫揮絕百非。平帖帖時平帖帖,峭巍巍處峭J40nB475_p0041b12巍巍,嶷峰正令高千古,要契當陽第一機。』」喝一喝。參J40nB475_p0041b13頭結椎曰:「諦觀法王法,法王法如是。」下座。
J40nB475_p0041b14中秋,上堂。「靈山話月,曹溪指月,寒山比月,長沙翫月。」J40nB475_p0041b15豎拂子,曰:「惟有南源者個月,不落圓兮不落缺。縱使J40nB475_p0041b16南泉拂袖行,猶是文殊第二月。正恁麼時如何?」擲拂J40nB475_p0041b17子。
J40nB475_p0041b18重陽,上堂。「今朝九月九,黃花開笑口。」驀拈拄杖,云:「拄J40nB475_p0041b19杖喜登高,快飲茱萸酒,指地喚作天,面南看北斗,卓J40nB475_p0041b20破太虛空,驚起泥牛吼,震動石敢當,眉毛尖上走。」
J40nB475_p0041b21開爐,上堂。「南源絕無佛法禪道,亦無殺人刀、活人劍、J40nB475_p0041b22金剛圈、栗棘蓬鈍置人家男女,秪要諸人盡情放下、J40nB475_p0041b23死盡偷心,向威音那畔更那畔打個觔斗,轉過身來J40nB475_p0041b24還須爛椎一頓,方堪縛清風、㓟明月、收子日、放午輪,J40nB475_p0041b25不是強為,法如是故。」喝一喝。
J40nB475_p0041b26冬至,上堂。「陰極陽回,日長夜短。直得雪埋萬壑,隱顯J40nB475_p0041b27該通。月透千門,暗明不露。」遂豎拂子,曰:「且道者個還J40nB475_p0041b28屬陰陽日夜也無?迥然不落宮商調,作響敲空會者J40nB475_p0041b29稀。」
J40nB475_p0041b30上堂。「枯木花芳,錦繡少林春色;冰河燄發,煇煌洞嶺J40nB475_p0041c01元猷。妙旨全彰,貫通末後;無情說法,獨露真風。所以,J40nB475_p0041c02萬象森羅,無一物而不彰至理;四時化運,無一事而J40nB475_p0041c03不演真乘。若到南源者裏,一點也用不著。何故?我王J40nB475_p0041c04庫內無如是刀。」
J40nB475_p0041c05上堂。舉:「世尊因五通仙人問:『世尊有六通,我有五通,J40nB475_p0041c06如何是那一通?』佛名五通仙人,仙人應諾。佛曰:『那一J40nB475_p0041c07通你問我?』世尊如是召,外道如是應,早已漏逗不少,J40nB475_p0041c08何堪土上更加泥?即今若問南源:『如何是那一通?』聲J40nB475_p0041c09未絕,劈脊便棒。會麼?三汲浪高魚化龍,癡人猶戽夜J40nB475_p0041c10塘水。」
J40nB475_p0041c11上堂。以拂子擊禪床,曰:「聞麼?若聞,則聾卻你耳。」復豎J40nB475_p0041c12拂子,曰:「見麼?若見,則瞎卻你眼。秪如不見不聞,畢竟J40nB475_p0041c13如何即得?」揮拂子,曰:「見不見,須彌倒挂龜毛線;聞不J40nB475_p0041c14聞,折角泥牛入洞庭。更有一機超佛祖,蟭螟眼裏法J40nB475_p0041c15王城。」
J40nB475_p0041c16上堂。問:「佛法元要即不問,乞師直指本來心。」師曰:「火J40nB475_p0041c17裏冰。」曰:「如何是本來性?」師曰:「水中燈。」曰:「如何是佛?」師J40nB475_p0041c18曰:「曠大劫來無面目。」曰:「如何是祖?」師曰:「今時那畔未J40nB475_p0041c19曾睹。」僧禮拜,曰:「謝師指示。」師曰:「莫妄承當。」乃曰:「本來J40nB475_p0041c20心,火裏水。本來性,水中燈。曠大劫來無面目,今時那J40nB475_p0041c21畔未曾睹。未曾睹,絕回互,遍界全彰渾不露。臘月蓮J40nB475_p0041c22花雪裏芳,馨香撲鼻誰人悟?悟不悟,佛祖心肝盡傾J40nB475_p0041c23吐。」
J40nB475_p0041c24上堂。「掀翻香水海,放出魚鱉蛟龍。推倒須彌盧,壓死J40nB475_p0041c25熊羆虎豹。橫身宇宙,獨步大方。左右逢源,高低得妙。J40nB475_p0041c26縱饒與麼,猶是半提。且作麼生是全提一句?鳥雞踏J40nB475_p0041c27破澄潭月,玉兔掀翻午夜星。」
J40nB475_p0041c28上堂。舉:「金峰示眾曰:『老僧二十年前有老婆心,二十J40nB475_p0041c29年後無老婆心。』時有僧出問:『如何是二十年前有老J40nB475_p0041c30婆心?』峰曰:『問凡答凡,問聖答聖。』曰:『如何是二十年後J40nB475_p0042a01無老婆心?』峰曰:『問凡不答凡,問聖不答聖。』金峰雖然J40nB475_p0042a02棒打石人頭,嚗嚗論實事,若到南源門下,未肯點頭J40nB475_p0042a03在。」遂卓拄杖云:「有心耶?無心耶?在前耶?在後耶?凡聖J40nB475_p0042a04耶?非凡聖耶?有人道得,堪與拄杖相見。」
J40nB475_p0042a05元宵解冬期,禮千佛懺,上堂。問:「三千諸佛,秪聞其名,J40nB475_p0042a06未睹其相。如何是諸佛相?」師曰:「牙齒一具骨,耳朵兩J40nB475_p0042a07片皮。」曰:「如何是諸佛名?」師曰:「胡張三,黑李四。」曰:「未審J40nB475_p0042a08居何國土?」師曰:「三更紅日朗,卓午月華明。」曰:「上元且J40nB475_p0042a09不問,解冬乞師言。」師曰:「若到南嶽去,須防滑石頭。」乃J40nB475_p0042a10豎拂子,曰:「三千諸佛向拂子尖上各現千丈報身,各J40nB475_p0042a11坐菩提寶座,各為無量億那由他眾生出廣長舌,而J40nB475_p0042a12說偈曰:『元宵佳節,然燈放光,化被草木,賴及萬方。東J40nB475_p0042a13南西北,兩腳奔忙,罔談彼短,靡恃己長。』大眾聞此妙J40nB475_p0042a14偈,各證無生法忍。且無生法忍作麼生證?」便下座。
J40nB475_p0042a15上堂。橫按拄杖曰:「春水滿四澤。」復豎拄杖曰:「夏雲多J40nB475_p0042a16奇峰。」左卓一卓曰:「秋月揚明輝。」右卓一卓曰:「冬嶺秀J40nB475_p0042a17孤松。此四句內,有一句主中賓,有一句賓中主,有一J40nB475_p0042a18句賓中賓,有一句主中主。若人定當得出,一生參學J40nB475_p0042a19事畢。」
J40nB475_p0042a20上堂。舉:「保福因僧侍立,乃曰:『你得與麼麤心?』曰:『某甲J40nB475_p0042a21甚處麤心?』福拈土度與,曰:『拋向門外著。』僧拋了卻來,J40nB475_p0042a22曰:『甚處是某甲麤心?』福曰:『我見你築著磕著,所以道J40nB475_p0042a23你麤心。』保福用劍刃上事熱瞞者僧即得,若待度土J40nB475_p0042a24時,接來劈面便擲,者老漢雖有隱身之術,也只得築J40nB475_p0042a25著磕著。更聽一偈:『白拈手段太尖新,逐塊韓盧豈自J40nB475_p0042a26明?一片婆心誰會得?空懸明鏡照高岑。』」
J40nB475_p0042a27上堂。舉:「睦州示眾曰:『裂開也在我,捏聚也在我。』時有J40nB475_p0042a28僧便問:『如何是裂開?』州曰:『三九二十七,菩提涅槃,真J40nB475_p0042a29如解脫,即心即佛。我且與麼道,你又作麼生?』僧曰:『某J40nB475_p0042a30甲不與麼道。』州曰:『盞子撲落地,碟子成七片。』」師呵呵J40nB475_p0042b01大笑曰:「睦州平地起骨堆,被者僧一拶,直得東扯西J40nB475_p0042b02拽。當時若在,驀面一摑,不惟與者飯袋子出氣,免者J40nB475_p0042b03老凍膿寐語無有了日。」
J40nB475_p0042b04上堂。「嫩綠新紅,西來大義;鮮花繁葉,劫外真機。丹鳳J40nB475_p0042b05彩無影林中,靈鶴巢不萌枝上,直得玉女停鍼、金童J40nB475_p0042b06側耳,直饒縱懸河之辯,欲說者段境界終不能得。山J40nB475_p0042b07僧不惜口業,試為點破:四月清和雨乍晴,南山當戶J40nB475_p0042b08轉分明,更無柳絮隨風舞。」喝一喝,曰:「末後句聻?」便下J40nB475_p0042b09座。
J40nB475_p0042b10上堂。「殿角鈴談道,林間鳥話心。可憐西祖意,一一盡J40nB475_p0042b11分明。」
J40nB475_p0042b12上堂。「大象牽歸藕竅中,乾坤倒挂入鍼鋒,鐵牛驚起J40nB475_p0042b13虛空走,蹋碎雲霄是幾重?元途斷,鳥道空,廝兒失卻J40nB475_p0042b14三元要,洞老忘懷五位功,護身符子休提起,燄裏冰J40nB475_p0042b15花朵朵紅。」
J40nB475_p0042b16上堂。「今朝四月念五,聽我一一舉數。六隻草鞋三雙,J40nB475_p0042b17兩輪日月如鼓。北斗昨夜起雲,西嶺今朝下雨。枝枝J40nB475_p0042b18葉葉淚流,瓦礫石頭叫苦。休叫苦,露柱搖頭,燈籠起J40nB475_p0042b19舞。」
J40nB475_p0042b20上堂。「聞聲悟道,見色明心。」震威一喝曰:「喚作聲得麼?」J40nB475_p0042b21豎拂子曰:「喚作色得麼?」復揮一揮曰:「薄霧篩紅日,輕J40nB475_p0042b22煙襯綠苔。若將實句會,埋沒法王才。」復喝一喝。
J40nB475_p0042b23解制,上堂。僧擬問,師震威一喝。僧擬對,師便打曰:「切J40nB475_p0042b24莫辜負。」乃以拄杖打圓相曰:「四月十五不入者裏,七J40nB475_p0042b25月望日不出者裏。」復卓拄杖曰:「卓破者裏,喪卻自己。」J40nB475_p0042b26擲拄杖曰:「上大人,丘乙己。」
J40nB475_p0042b27開爐,上堂。問:「陞座說法,善別機宜。請問和尚,如何是J40nB475_p0042b28縱?」師曰:「絲綸拋出輕收轉,一任高低上下游。」曰:「如何J40nB475_p0042b29是奪?」師曰:「剛纔撒下縵天綱,縱使金鱗怎出頭?」曰:「如J40nB475_p0042b30何是殺?」師曰:「天魔喪膽。」曰:「如何是活?」師曰:「絕後再甦。」J40nB475_p0042c01曰:「縱奪殺活蒙師指,向上宗乘事若何?」師便打。乃曰:J40nB475_p0042c02「傾懸河之辯,施劈箭之機。蕩元要於言前,勦正偏於J40nB475_p0042c03句下。不動步而遊彌勒樓閣,不返聞而入觀音普門。J40nB475_p0042c04若到南源,痛與三十。何況鉤章棘句,巧說奇言。雖然J40nB475_p0042c05事無一向,不妨第二門頭屈曲垂手。不見僧問歸宗J40nB475_p0042c06曰:『如何是佛?』宗曰:『我說你不信。』曰:『和尚誠言,焉敢不J40nB475_p0042c07信。』宗曰:『即汝便是。』曰:『如何保任?』宗曰:『一翳在目,空花J40nB475_p0042c08亂墜。』馬祖下出八十餘員知識,惟有歸宗較些子。揀J40nB475_p0042c09點將來,未免塗污人家男女。即今有問:『如何是佛?』但J40nB475_p0042c10曰:『龍城雕來,一任諸方揀點。』」
J40nB475_p0042c11上堂。「或搬磚,或弄瓦。有時粧聾,有時作啞。阿嫂非哥J40nB475_p0042c12妻,師姑作大姐。盡日高歌笑不休,撲落虛空沒可把。」J40nB475_p0042c13舉拂子曰:「舉不顧,即差互。擬思量,何劫悟。」
J40nB475_p0042c14上堂。「乾三連,坤六段,秤鎚時把虛空鑽。離中虛,坎中J40nB475_p0042c15滿,石鼓峰頭撐石傘。震仰盂,艮覆碗,半夜雄雞生鴨J40nB475_p0042c16卵。兌上缺,巽下斷,拈起須彌螢火煆。」卓拄杖。
J40nB475_p0042c17上堂。「芰荷出水疊錢青,何處鶯梭織柳陰?坐久不知J40nB475_p0042c18山雨過,圓機滾滾撒珠珍。諸禪德!若作聲色會,則穿J40nB475_p0042c19卻眼耳;不作聲色會,則辜負見聞。畢竟如何即得?」便J40nB475_p0042c20下座。
J40nB475_p0042c21上堂。「山僧有一訣,杖挑水底月。驚起東海龍,變作南J40nB475_p0042c22山鱉。咬殺石敢當,泰山迸出血。諸禪德!瞥不瞥?黃金J40nB475_p0042c23鍊轉黃,白玉生成白。」
J40nB475_p0042c24上堂。「向上機七零八落,末後句東擲西拋,肘後符填J40nB475_p0042c25溝塞壑,頂門眼耀古騰今。縱饒牙如劍樹,口似血盆,J40nB475_p0042c26到南源且令撈蝦摝蜆。抑不得已,放一線道。」揮拂子J40nB475_p0042c27曰:「百千三昧,無量妙義,悉被拂子潑撒滿地,變作乾J40nB475_p0042c28屎橛死貓頭了也。五位君臣,三朝王子,嘮嘮嚷嚷而J40nB475_p0042c29相謂曰:『報君知,莫莽鹵,黃鸝啼破綠楊煙,白鷺踏翻J40nB475_p0042c30荷葉雨。』」
J40nB475_p0043a01上堂。「休休休處意綢繆,綠水青山興轉悠。有趣向沒J40nB475_p0043a02來由,劍去何勞更刻舟。留得五湖風月在,不愁無處J40nB475_p0043a03下金鉤。」
J40nB475_p0043a04上堂。「今朝五月二十五,鼕鼕愁聽陞堂鼓。癡頑侍者J40nB475_p0043a05幾番催,打算枯腸無半語。少年只去弄泥團,老大而J40nB475_p0043a06今自知苦。嗤嵩山,笑魯祖,無言卻把牆壁睹。氣殺懸J40nB475_p0043a07河瓶瀉兒,積學徒將河沙數。」豎拂子曰:「爭似南源拂J40nB475_p0043a08子奇,東邊搖了西邊撫。揮空三百餘會經,摵碎雲門J40nB475_p0043a09一字普。」喝一喝。
J40nB475_p0043a10上堂。豎拂子曰:「南源拂子,穿過三世如來鼻孔,觸瞎J40nB475_p0043a11歷代祖師眼睛,截斷塵沙界眾生命根。」復揮拂子曰:J40nB475_p0043a12「然後放開也在我,捏聚也在我。且道拂子得何三昧,J40nB475_p0043a13有如是奇特?自從收得空王印,天上人間任自如。」
J40nB475_p0043a14上堂。「溪聲落落流千古,月色明明時往還。一段真機J40nB475_p0043a15如會得,何須別透祖師關。」
J40nB475_p0043a16開爐,上堂。「洪開大冶潑天紅,鈍鐵頑銅盡化鎔。金剛J40nB475_p0043a17圈,栗棘蓬,能跳能吞未是雄。」顧左右曰:「既是能跳能J40nB475_p0043a18吞,因甚麼未是雄?換骨洗腸重整頓,通身手眼更須J40nB475_p0043a19參。」

J40nB475_p0043a25上堂。問:「如何是黃花般若?」師曰:「分明月在梅稍上。」曰:J40nB475_p0043a26「如何是翠竹真如?」師曰:「看到梅花早已遲。」僧禮拜曰:J40nB475_p0043a27「謝師指示。」師打曰:「錯。」乃舉:「華嚴座主問大珠和尚曰:J40nB475_p0043a28『禪師何故不許青青翠竹盡是法身,鬱鬱黃花無非J40nB475_p0043a29般若?』珠曰:『佛真法身,猶如虛空。應物現形,似水中月。J40nB475_p0043a30黃花若是般若,般若即同無情。翠竹若是法身,法身J40nB475_p0043b01還能應用。座主會麼?』主曰:『不了此意。』珠曰:『若人見性,J40nB475_p0043b02道是亦得,道不是亦得。隨用而得,不滯是非。未見性J40nB475_p0043b03人,說翠竹著翠竹,說黃花著黃花,說法身滯法身,說J40nB475_p0043b04般若不識般若。所以皆成諍論。』二老名欽御座,道播J40nB475_p0043b05乾坤。傾懸河之辯,施倒嶽之機。撿點將來,不無滲漏。」J40nB475_p0043b06遂高豎拄杖曰:「看看,此是黃花耶?翠竹耶?般若耶?真J40nB475_p0043b07如耶?法身耶?虛空耶?」復卓拄杖下座。
J40nB475_p0043b08上堂。「陽燄翻波,燎卻舜若多神面門。」良久,云:「看老僧J40nB475_p0043b09眉毛在麼?」僧出眾,師便下座。
J40nB475_p0043b10簡親王請上堂。師拈香曰:「此瓣香因植靈鷲,報感閻J40nB475_p0043b11浮,奉為簡親藩下壽齊南嶽,福等東溟。」斂衣就座,乃J40nB475_p0043b12曰:「龍之種,麟之趾,大哉玉葉金枝,灝矣福基祿位。垂J40nB475_p0043b13一言,萬姓欽仰;行一令,闔國咸遵。萬人叢裏樹高標,J40nB475_p0043b14一世功名垂宇宙。汝等諸仁還有知恩者麼?王登寶J40nB475_p0043b15殿,野老謳歌。」
J40nB475_p0043b16上堂。豎拂子曰:「者裏會得,魯祖面壁。者裏不會,子胡J40nB475_p0043b17看狗。畢竟如何?」擲拂子曰:「收。」
住壽佛菴
J40nB475_p0043b19康熙癸丑秋,師在南源,受柳州護法曾大受等請,於J40nB475_p0043b20十月朔旦入院。
J40nB475_p0043b21上堂。「一自嶷峰捋虎鬚,閒來世外探龍珠,如今垂釣J40nB475_p0043b22深潭裏,試看金鱗有也無?」問:「大振宗風杲日新,廣度J40nB475_p0043b23龍城百萬人,秪如四眾臨筵作麼生度?」師曰:「霜鐘夜J40nB475_p0043b24半談真諦,惹得寒梅笑不休。」曰:「如何是龍城境?」師曰:J40nB475_p0043b25「天馬騰空霄漢外,峨眉飛瀑岸山來。」曰:「如何是境中J40nB475_p0043b26人?」師曰:「今朝逼上金猊座,滿口無言話不成。」曰:「人境J40nB475_p0043b27已經承指示,向上宗乘事若何?」師便打,乃曰:「若論此J40nB475_p0043b28事,問似雲興、答如瓶瀉,秪可熱鬧門庭,衲僧分上一J40nB475_p0043b29點也用不著。何故?私通車馬,官不容針。」遂豎拂子,曰:J40nB475_p0043b30「看!看!釋迦如來於拂子尖頭放白毫相光,光貫十方J40nB475_p0043c01微塵剎土諸佛頂門,十方微塵剎諸佛各放寶光,旋J40nB475_p0043c02貫釋迦如來頂門,釋迦如來出慈和音而讚之,曰:『善J40nB475_p0043c03哉!龍城四眾俱從各省府縣會聚此城,或現將軍身,J40nB475_p0043c04或現宰輔身,或現英雄豪傑身,或現才能技藝身,或J40nB475_p0043c05現童男童女、長者居士、比丘比丘尼、優婆塞優婆夷J40nB475_p0043c06等身,各各參尋古佛徽猷,顯揚衲僧巴鼻。今我授記J40nB475_p0043c07爾等,頓契心宗,各成佛道。直截承當,甚勿擬議。』」復擊J40nB475_p0043c08拂子曰:「釋迦如來被山僧一擊,仍舊入寂滅道場去J40nB475_p0043c09也。且道授記諸仁還信得及麼?」高聲曰:「鷂子過新羅。」
J40nB475_p0043c10熊護法薦亡,請上堂。舉:「道吾禪師攜漸源檀門作弔,J40nB475_p0043c11源拊棺曰:『生耶死耶?』吾曰:『生也不道,死也不道。』源曰:J40nB475_p0043c12『為甚麼不道?』吾曰:『不道不道。』行至中途,源曰:『乞和尚J40nB475_p0043c13為我道。若不道,打和尚去在。』吾曰:『打即任打,道即不J40nB475_p0043c14道。』道吾乃藥山克家之子,等閒出語,自然絕後光前,J40nB475_p0043c15頭端尾正。即今若有人問南源:『生耶死耶?』答曰:『逢人J40nB475_p0043c16但恁麼問。』且道與古人相去多少?」
J40nB475_p0043c17上堂。「跨獰龍,須用超方手段;擒猛虎,應施格外楗槌。J40nB475_p0043c18一錘纔下,迸裂頂門;半機聊施,豁開正眼。停思則萬J40nB475_p0043c19里白雲,擬議則當面錯過。有麼?有麼?」眾無對。師云:「夜J40nB475_p0043c20靜水寒魚不餌,滿船空載月明歸。」
J40nB475_p0043c21上堂。曰椎竟,師曰:「第一義諦卻被磬椎上座盡情道J40nB475_p0043c22破,山僧秪可向第二門頭重疊舉示去也。」揮拂子,曰:J40nB475_p0043c23「會麼?九月二十日卻是行仁張善人誕辰。」又揮拂子,J40nB475_p0043c24曰:「九月二十八日卻又是行體陳護法生辰。且道拂J40nB475_p0043c25子是何年何月生?若知拂子生,便知陳護法的生;知J40nB475_p0043c26陳護法生,便知張善人的生;知張善人生,便知歷代J40nB475_p0043c27祖師、三世諸佛、森羅萬象、情與無情的生。若總得知,J40nB475_p0043c28試問壽量畢竟多少?」顧左右,曰:「前三三,後三三,萬年J40nB475_p0043c29石上千尋樹,信手拈來為舉揚。」復揮拂子,結椎,下座。
J40nB475_p0043c30喻嘉澍誕,請上堂。「無陰陽地生苗,沒影林中發榦,千J40nB475_p0044a01萬劫愈茂愈繁,阿僧祗越英越秀。且道是個甚麼得J40nB475_p0044a02恁般出類拔萃?」攛拄杖,曰:「看,看。」
J40nB475_p0044a03熊護法壽,請上堂。卓拄杖曰:「者裏會得,不由三祗頓J40nB475_p0044a04悟真空,不越六塵了明智海。拈三千大千世界於鍼J40nB475_p0044a05鋒尖上,不費毫力;置百萬億須彌於藕絲孔中,那用J40nB475_p0044a06纖能?建法幢於旌旗隊裏,現報身於武弁場中。披忍J40nB475_p0044a07辱鎧,挽回龐老家風;持智慧弓,點開維摩正眼。為宸J40nB475_p0044a08廷之玉柱,作法苑之金湯。直得優曇現瑞,寶蓋呈祥。J40nB475_p0044a09且道是甚麼人境界?問取當齊熊護法。」
J40nB475_p0044a10上堂。「翠竹綠,蒼松青,更於何處覓真心?滿目真乘如J40nB475_p0044a11委悉,祖父從來不出門。」
住理山聖明寺
J40nB475_p0044a13康熙甲寅蒲月,師在南源,受山主唐長明,及紳衿護J40nB475_p0044a14法等請,於九月望旦,開理山聖明禪寺。
J40nB475_p0044a15上堂。舉如意曰:「護得空王如意珠,隨機應化自如如。J40nB475_p0044a16一莖草上瓊樓現,百世洪規立壯圖。」以如意左揮曰:J40nB475_p0044a17「左也如意。」右揮曰:「右也如意。」復豎如意曰:「如意如意。」J40nB475_p0044a18呵呵大笑,便下座。
J40nB475_p0044a19上堂。「海月上山窗,石屋清徹底。幸有蟋蟀知,唧唧宣J40nB475_p0044a20不已。今特舉似人,開口說道理。誰是惺惺者,拈頭便J40nB475_p0044a21知尾。」遂顧左右曰:「佳作仁,可知禮。」
J40nB475_p0044a22上堂。拈拂子,左邊一拂曰:「東方甲乙木。」右邊一拂曰:J40nB475_p0044a23「西方庚辛金。」前一拂曰:「南方丙丁火。」後一拂曰:「北方J40nB475_p0044a24壬癸水。中央且道是甚麼?」復豎拂子曰:「若道是拂子,J40nB475_p0044a25又違了戊己土。若道是戊己土,又違了拂子。畢竟如J40nB475_p0044a26何即得?」遂擲拂子曰:「參!」
J40nB475_p0044a27開爐,上堂。「清溪梓童,幸有高明繼美;雲橋大士,欣逢J40nB475_p0044a28達者知音。且道張子韶聞蛙聲於月下、楊無為操沒J40nB475_p0044a29絃於寰中、王日休法化西方、龐居士財傾滄海,與今J40nB475_p0044a30縣主施財請法相去多少?者裏緇素得出,一任苦海J40nB475_p0044b01浪裏橫撐寶筏、荊棘叢中倒駕梯航;其或未然,暫時J40nB475_p0044b02按下雲頭過,待等春來起蟄龍。」
J40nB475_p0044b03上堂。問:「趙州布衫重七觔,意旨如何?」師曰:「多少人向J40nB475_p0044b04觔兩上覓?」曰:「趙州訪二菴主,又是何意旨?」師曰:「多少J40nB475_p0044b05人向拳上覓?」曰:「不從觔兩、不向拳頭,畢竟如何即得?」J40nB475_p0044b06師曰:「短尾蒼龍上碧天,癡人猶戽夜塘水。」問:「南泉斬J40nB475_p0044b07貓意如何?」師曰:「一刀兩段血淋淋。」曰:「趙州頭戴草鞋J40nB475_p0044b08又作麼生?」師曰:「討甚護身符子?」曰:「秪如溈山道:『老牸J40nB475_p0044b09牛來也。』意旨如何?」師曰:「奴見婢慇懃。」曰:「明日臺山大J40nB475_p0044b10會齊又作麼生?」師曰:「穿卻天下衲僧鼻孔。」曰:「為甚麼J40nB475_p0044b11溈山便放身臥?」師曰:「昨夜三更月到窗。」曰:「劉鐵磨何J40nB475_p0044b12故拂袖便行?」師曰:「作賊人心虛。」僧禮拜,師便打,乃曰:J40nB475_p0044b13「趙州七觔衫,懸羊賣狗;菴主豎拳頭,證龜成鱉;溈山J40nB475_p0044b14老牸牛,有意氣時添意氣;臺山大會齊,不風流處也J40nB475_p0044b15風流。全身放倒,壓碎虛空;拂袖便行,踏翻元路。惹得J40nB475_p0044b16案山點頭、龍川擺尾,殿前石獅子跳上梵天,撞著四J40nB475_p0044b17天王,驀頭一擊,轉到須彌峰頂,哮吼一聲,震落滿天J40nB475_p0044b18星斗,跌入深深海底。還有不假寸繩撿得出來底麼?J40nB475_p0044b19如無,看拂子大顯神通去也。」揮拂子,曰:「日月星辰歸J40nB475_p0044b20本位,山川草木盡輝煌。」
J40nB475_p0044b21弁山且拙和尚訃至,上堂。舉訃召眾曰:「還知者老漢J40nB475_p0044b22勦絕佛祖、掃空聖凡,將四十九年佛法盡情抖亂、一J40nB475_p0044b23千七百葛藤徹底掀翻,盡大地人奈伊不何?近在弁J40nB475_p0044b24山峰頭踢倒法幢,撒手歸去,人天失怙,龍象無依。宗J40nB475_p0044b25上座久承提命,深荷鉗錘,聊爇旃檀,用申葵赤。伏惟J40nB475_p0044b26大慈哀憐攝受。」
J40nB475_p0044b27余天吉供法服上堂。師展衣示眾曰:「若道是雞足山J40nB475_p0044b28中底,又在大庾嶺頭;若道是大庾嶺頭底,又在理山J40nB475_p0044b29手裏。」遂披衣云:「直得通身顯露,脫體全彰,尊貴難倫,J40nB475_p0044b30人天欽仰。果能直下承當,何用山僧叨呾?」便下座。
住興隆菴
J40nB475_p0044c02康熙丙辰菊月,師在南源,受永州楊太守及監院等J40nB475_p0044c03度請,於十月初八日入院。
J40nB475_p0044c04上堂。師指法座曰:「極高峻,最寬廣,步步踏著,要上便J40nB475_p0044c05上。」遂陞座。拈香曰:「此瓣香蔭覆萬億人天,香滿三千J40nB475_p0044c06世界,爇向爐中,耑為祝延J40nB475_p0044c07北闕帝主聖躬萬歲,伏願仁風蕩蕩,萬民賡喜起之歌;J40nB475_p0044c08德澤洋洋,四海荷雍熙之化。」次拈香曰:「此瓣香拋珍J40nB475_p0044c09惜於義嶺,絕蹤跡於嶷山,第二回拈出,奉為J40nB475_p0044c10現住嶷山傳曹洞正宗三十世J40nB475_p0044c11握中符大和尚,用酬法乳之恩。」斂衣就座。西堂白椎J40nB475_p0044c12竟,師曰:「瀟湘水合,逆流曹溪之源;楚粵山連,遠接鷲J40nB475_p0044c13峰之勢。愚溪演新豐之調,澹巖懸寶鏡之光,無情上J40nB475_p0044c14座亙古宣揚,可惜真機長年空過,必須時窮刻究,直J40nB475_p0044c15下脫體承當。正恁麼時,作麼生是安禪結制一句?從J40nB475_p0044c16前汗馬無人識,秪要重論蓋代功。」結椎下座。
J40nB475_p0044c17上堂。「雲門乾矢橛,洞山麻三觔,趙州狗子,佛性有無。J40nB475_p0044c18父母未生前面目,眼光落地時向甚麼處去?」喝一喝,J40nB475_p0044c19曰:「奼女已歸霄漢去,獃郎猶自火邊蹲。」
住嶷山祝聖寺
J40nB475_p0044c21康熙丁巳冬,握老人赴貴州請師,在南源受山主唐J40nB475_p0044c22龍安、監院道融等請繼席,於十月十五日入院。
J40nB475_p0044c23上堂。問:「如何不是心?」師曰:「一莖眉毛重千觔。」曰:「如何J40nB475_p0044c24不是佛?」師曰:「昨夜三更日頭出。」曰:「如何不是物?」師曰:J40nB475_p0044c25「黑是紙兮白是墨。」曰:「三句已蒙師指示,向上全提事J40nB475_p0044c26若何?」師曰:「截斷舌頭。」乃曰:「以大圓覺為我伽藍,身心J40nB475_p0044c27安居平等性智。者裏會得,㓟虛空而砌八角金盤,鑽J40nB475_p0044c28秤鎚而穿九曲明珠。俄爾心窮力盡,眨眼便見眉毛。」
J40nB475_p0044c29華嚴期滿散,上堂。豎拂子曰:「於斯會得,何必福城東J40nB475_p0044c30際始見文殊,樓閣門開方參慈氏?禪即是教,如水成J40nB475_p0045a01波;教即是禪,似波成水。非教無以明其禪,非禪無以J40nB475_p0045a02宗其教。珠走盤而盤走珠,縱橫無礙;月映水而水映J40nB475_p0045a03月,往復何殊?毛吞巨海,芥納須彌,後先一道,今古同J40nB475_p0045a04揆。若未會,方山棗柏大士在諸人背後。」
J40nB475_p0045a05固山劉彥明陞遷,請上堂。「春回大地,山山花鳥爭奇;J40nB475_p0045a06運轉中天,處處禎祥煥彩。竹尾掃禪心而飄揚聖智,J40nB475_p0045a07柳線穿祖印而妙契真如,頭頭彰劫外徽猷,物物露J40nB475_p0045a08個中消息,一任刀鎗林裏洞轉法輪,生死海中普揚J40nB475_p0045a09三昧,自然君臣道合,理事渾融。」揮拂子,曰:「彫弓已挂J40nB475_p0045a10狼煙息,萬里歌謳賀太平。」
J40nB475_p0045a11過拈花菴,請上堂。「世尊拈花,迦葉破顏,直至而今作J40nB475_p0045a12正傳。」遂豎拂子,曰:「山僧拈起𨍏轢鑽,竹筋鞭死貓頭,J40nB475_p0045a13鱉鼻蛇一大絡索,若有擔荷得去的,隨處作主,遇緣J40nB475_p0045a14即宗,是非窩裏轉大法輪,十字街頭安禪打坐。雖然J40nB475_p0045a15如是,且道廬陵米作麼價?」
J40nB475_p0045a16百愚和尚訃至,上堂。「洞上一株大樹,無端被一陣毘J40nB475_p0045a17嵐風和根傾折。且道甚處是他安身立命處?」舉計音J40nB475_p0045a18曰:「人間天上獨稱尊。」
J40nB475_p0045a19上堂。「簷前細雨,點點滴滴。祖師牢關,明明歷歷。設若J40nB475_p0045a20不委,再通消息。」撫几一下。
住曹源寶鏡寺
J40nB475_p0045a22康熙己未夏,師在南源,受永州本生蔣鄉紳洎監院J40nB475_p0045a23行袾請,於十月望日入院。
J40nB475_p0045a24上堂。「三世諸佛,歷代祖師,二桂五宗,無不從此法界J40nB475_p0045a25流出,無不還歸此法界。開選佛道場,續曹源正脈。人J40nB475_p0045a26人頂門向天,個個腳跟踏地。正恁麼時,作麼生是正J40nB475_p0045a27脈流通一句?愚溪水接曹溪水,嵛嶺風高鷲嶺風。」
J40nB475_p0045a28開爐,上堂。「今日十方聚會,名為封拄杖頭、結布袋口。J40nB475_p0045a29殊不知缽盂安柄,額角栽鬚。若是大丈夫漢,豈受者J40nB475_p0045a30般折挫?所以字翁開士特請陞座,直捷舉揚。記得張J40nB475_p0045b01狀元參寶印有省,偈曰:『春天月下一聲蛙,撞破乾坤J40nB475_p0045b02共一家。正恁麼時誰會得?嶺頭腳痛有玄沙。』此是現J40nB475_p0045b03宰官身,弘揚正法之鑑。苟能向句下明得,高提祖印,J40nB475_p0045b04縱辯玄機,起死回生,抽釘拔楔,饑鷹爪下分餐,猛虎J40nB475_p0045b05口邊奪食,非為分外。脫若未然,須向紅爐煆過始得。」
J40nB475_p0045b06玄契大師請上堂。問:「如何是類墮?」師曰:「龍宮虎穴閒J40nB475_p0045b07遊戲。」曰:「如何是隨墮?」師曰:「酒肆淫房絕染塵。」曰:「如何J40nB475_p0045b08是尊貴墮?」師曰:「千邦萬國咸朝賀,獨坐深宮不自尊。」J40nB475_p0045b09曰:「曹山妙旨承師指,福山一句又如何?」師曰:「流通有J40nB475_p0045b10分。」乃曰:「五位宗旨,徹底掀翻。三墮玄關,盡情剖露。於J40nB475_p0045b11此領略,肩挑明月,腰裹清風,一任人間天上,此界他J40nB475_p0045b12方,駕寶筏於迷津,泛慈航於苦海。其或未然,問取福J40nB475_p0045b13山玄公,必為爾等道破。」
J40nB475_p0045b14上堂。問:「如何是第一玄?」師曰:「嵛峰頂上浪滔天。」曰:「如J40nB475_p0045b15何是第二玄?」師曰:「拂子尖頭藏大千。」曰:「如何是第三J40nB475_p0045b16玄?」師曰:「香爐開口笑青天。」曰:「如何是第一要?」師曰:「獨J40nB475_p0045b17足木雞當午叫。」曰:「如何是第二要?」師曰:「白髮兒童滿J40nB475_p0045b18口道。」曰:「如何是第三要?」師曰:「樹樹梅花雪裏笑。」曰:「要J40nB475_p0045b19玄妙旨承敷演,向上一句請師通。」師曰:「不打你者癡J40nB475_p0045b20漢。」乃曰:「慈舟原即是漁舟,浪湧千峰最上頭。要使獰J40nB475_p0045b21龍上直釣,蟹蝦螺蚌敢吞鉤。」
J40nB475_p0045b22上堂。豎拂子曰:「智者見之謂之智,仁者見之謂之仁,J40nB475_p0045b23禪者見之謂之禪,戒者見之謂之戒。」揮拂子曰:「智者J40nB475_p0045b24見之不是智,仁者見之不是仁,禪者見之不是禪,戒J40nB475_p0045b25者見之不是戒。」復擲拂子曰:「無仁可立,無智可見,無J40nB475_p0045b26禪可參,無戒可持。極生居士護持有年,今日恭請陞J40nB475_p0045b27座,記得張拙秀才參石霜,霜問:『公姓甚麼?』曰:『姓張名J40nB475_p0045b28拙。』霜曰:『覓巧了不可得,拙從何來?』張公豁然,遂說偈J40nB475_p0045b29曰:『光明寂照遍河沙,凡聖含靈共我家,一念不生全J40nB475_p0045b30體現,六根纔動被雲遮。斷除妄想重增病,趨向真如J40nB475_p0045c01亦是邪,隨順世緣無罣礙,涅槃生死等空花。』張公如J40nB475_p0045c02真金百煉,石老似九轉靈丹,驀拶相逢,秪消一點,且J40nB475_p0045c03道是那一點?」喝一喝。
J40nB475_p0045c04冰潔尼圓華嚴期,請上堂。問:「佛法遍一切處,如何是J40nB475_p0045c05一切處佛法?」師曰:「且喜華嚴功德周。」曰:「周後如何行J40nB475_p0045c06履?」師曰:「樓閣門前霜月淡,妙高峰頂日輪紅。」乃拈拄J40nB475_p0045c07杖曰:「香水重重佛境融,華嚴大義盡情通。善財空費J40nB475_p0045c08南詢力,一棒當陽示正宗。」卓一下。
J40nB475_p0045c09上堂。舉:「雲門到乾峰,曰:『請師答話。』峰云:『到老僧也未?』J40nB475_p0045c10門曰:『恁麼那!恁麼那!』峰曰:『將謂猴白,更有猴黑。』二大J40nB475_p0045c11老雖則棋逢敵手、琴遇知音,未免傍觀者哂。還有定J40nB475_p0045c12當得者麼?」揮拂子,曰:「有意氣時添意氣,不風流處也J40nB475_p0045c13風流。」
J40nB475_p0045c14臘八日,蔣字臣請上堂。舉:「宋時張宰相母秦國夫人J40nB475_p0045c15參徑山和尚,令看狗子無佛性話,忽一夜驀然得個J40nB475_p0045c16歡喜處,遂以偈呈山曰:『逐日看經文,如逢舊識人,莫J40nB475_p0045c17言頻有礙,一舉一回新。』徑山擊節稱善。秦國夫人雖J40nB475_p0045c18是個女流,宛有丈夫之作。今字翁太君聞山僧陞座J40nB475_p0045c19亦得個歡喜處,且道他見個什麼?」良久曰:「待明星出J40nB475_p0045c20現向諸人道。」

住臥雲山最勝寺

J40nB475_p0046a02上堂。「威音那畔,已落名言;透脫今時,終成話柄。縱饒J40nB475_p0046a03離相離名,泥塗拽尾;假使無蹤無跡,日下逃形。還會J40nB475_p0046a04麼?芍藥花開菩薩面,棕橺葉散夜叉頭。」
J40nB475_p0046a05解冬期,上堂。舉:「世尊於楞嚴會上將白疊綰成六結J40nB475_p0046a06因緣,世尊只知瞻前,全不顧後。」驀拈拄杖,云:「秪如臥J40nB475_p0046a07雲拄杖本自無結,云何有解?拈起則從教船來、陸來,J40nB475_p0046a08放下則一任東去、西去。雖然如是,今日又且不然。」遂J40nB475_p0046a09卓兩下,曰:「去底留住,住底遣去。」
J40nB475_p0046a10上堂。「棒頭開正眼,喝下碎虛空,兩般俱勦絕,正法永J40nB475_p0046a11流通。且道作麼生流通?竹上泉通竹下水,溪東花落J40nB475_p0046a12溪西紅。」
J40nB475_p0046a13將軍線國安大護法送人天師表額,請上堂。「人能弘J40nB475_p0046a14道,法遇人尊。漢明帝高懸佛日而萬國咸寧,唐中宗J40nB475_p0046a15遙敬六祖而千邦肅靜。侍郎問道於鳥窠,山谷究心J40nB475_p0046a16於晦老。現國王之洪範,示宰官之規模。但自元運以J40nB475_p0046a17來,法門秋晚。至我J40nB475_p0046a18國朝之世,祖道崇隆。自古至今,罕逢斯盛。線大護法佛J40nB475_p0046a19心將貌,榮位僧儀。旌旗隊裏,祖印高標。戎馬行中,真J40nB475_p0046a20風獨露。雖然恁麼,猶是功動邊事。且如何是尊貴一J40nB475_p0046a21句?丹詔不須啣彩鳳,萬方悉已戴堯仁。」
住別塵菴
J40nB475_p0046a23康熙辛酉春,師在南源,受粵西固山大護法劉彥明、J40nB475_p0046a24王自榮等請,於正月望日入院。
J40nB475_p0046a25上堂。「夙植金剛不壞心,而今拈出報皇恩。忠誠凜凜J40nB475_p0046a26安天下,義勇堂堂定太平。掃盡烽煙歸聖化,洗清雲J40nB475_p0046a27霧現天真。於今慶祝南山壽,特舉經中一段因。經中J40nB475_p0046a28道:『云何應住?云何降伏其心?』」揮拂子曰:「應如是住,如J40nB475_p0046a29是降伏其心。」
J40nB475_p0046a30行梁請上堂。呈拄杖曰:「木上座!能縱能奪,能殺能活,J40nB475_p0046b01放之則周遍沙界,收之則攝入無蹤,神機莫測,玅用J40nB475_p0046b02難窮。且道木上座有何長處?空王寶殿猶不住,花街J40nB475_p0046b03柳巷豈留蹤?」
J40nB475_p0046b04出隊歸,上堂。「十里一亭,五里一舖。兩徑青松,一條官J40nB475_p0046b05路。澄澄滿目煙光,湛湛一壺風月。鳶飛魚躍,盡轉法J40nB475_p0046b06輪。馬叫驢鳴,皆譚聖諦。」揮拂子,曰:「陋巷不騎金色馬,J40nB475_p0046b07回途▆著破襴衫。」
住福壽堂

J40nB475_p0046b11上堂。「末後一句,始到牢關。把斷要津,不通凡聖。指天J40nB475_p0046b12指地,不顧傍觀。打車打牛,笑殺識者。果是個漢,向者J40nB475_p0046b13裡掀倒禪床,喝散大眾,卻較些子。若乃向奇言巧語J40nB475_p0046b14上卜度,慚惶殺人。不見投子因僧問:『如何是一大事J40nB475_p0046b15因緣?』子曰:『尹司空請老僧開堂。』投子可謂棒打石人J40nB475_p0046b16頭,嚗嚗論實事。即今若有人問山僧:『如何是一大事J40nB475_p0046b17因緣?』即向他道:『瀟湘水泛曹溪浪,福壽堂拈鷲嶺機。』J40nB475_p0046b18且道與投子同異何如?」
J40nB475_p0046b19上堂。問:「人天交接即不問,如何是第一玄?」師曰:「波心J40nB475_p0046b20泛鐵船。」曰:「如何是第二玄?」師曰:「瓦礫解談禪。」曰:「如何J40nB475_p0046b21是第三玄?」師曰:「石頭跳上天。」曰:「如何是第一要?」師曰:J40nB475_p0046b22「明珠穿九竅。」曰:「如何是第二要?」師曰:「日頭半夜照。」曰:J40nB475_p0046b23「如何是第三要?」師曰:「畫鳥枝頭叫。」曰:「三玄三要蒙師J40nB475_p0046b24指,人法雙忘事若何?」師打,曰:「也要喫棒始得。」曰:「水向J40nB475_p0046b25石邊流出冷,風從花裏過來香。」師又打。乃曰:「凍鎖山J40nB475_p0046b26河,大地渾成銀世界。水封泉石,寰中都是水晶宮。映J40nB475_p0046b27徹本來面目,涵藏古佛心宗。會得底,一隻孤鶴撲地J40nB475_p0046b28雙飛。若也未明,兩個鴛鴦池邊獨宿。」
J40nB475_p0046b29佛成道日,上堂。豎拂子曰:「明星出現了也,還見釋迦J40nB475_p0046b30老子在正覺山前大言不慚麼?他道一切眾生具有J40nB475_p0046c01如來智慧德相,但以妄想執著而不能證得。當時山J40nB475_p0046c02僧若在,向他頂門一按,且道是智慧德相?是妄想執J40nB475_p0046c03著?不惟戒定慧門冰消瓦解,抑使鸑鷟麒麟俱是瑞,J40nB475_p0046c04栴檀薝蔔一般香,免得打作兩橛。」
J40nB475_p0046c05起七,上堂。問:「洞山五位即不問,臨濟四喝請師分。」師J40nB475_p0046c06曰:「劈碎看。」曰:「如何是一喝如金剛王寶劍?」師曰:「髑髏J40nB475_p0046c07滿地。」曰:「如何是一喝如踞地獅子?」師曰:「勦絕群狐。」曰:J40nB475_p0046c08「如何是一喝如探竿影草?」師曰:「骨出皮穿。」曰:「如何是J40nB475_p0046c09一喝不作一喝用?」師曰:「滿口道無言。」僧便喝,師打曰:J40nB475_p0046c10「亂叫作麼?」乃曰:「若論此事,登山須到頂,入海須到底,J40nB475_p0046c11但向恁麼也不得、不恁麼也不得、恁麼不恁麼總不J40nB475_p0046c12得處轉得身、吐得氣,始笑三個半壺壺半酒,哥哥丈J40nB475_p0046c13母嫂嫂娘。其或未然……」喝一喝,云:「這是四喝中那一喝?」
J40nB475_p0046c14上堂。問:「如何是賓中賓?」師曰:「乞丐沿街不顧貧。」曰:「如J40nB475_p0046c15何是賓中主?」師曰:「遊子歸來見上祖。」曰:「如何是主中J40nB475_p0046c16賓?」師曰:「策杖山前逢故人。」曰:「如何是主中主?」師卓拄J40nB475_p0046c17杖曰:「天上天下我獨尊。」曰:「向上全提又作麼生?」師便J40nB475_p0046c18打。乃舉:「遠觀穎禪師因僧問:『如何是長法身?』穎曰:『拄J40nB475_p0046c19杖六尺。』曰:『如何是短法身?』穎曰:『蓋方三寸。』曰:『恁麼則J40nB475_p0046c20法身有二。』穎曰:『更有方圓在。』達觀和尚一往只管看J40nB475_p0046c21樓打樓。山僧即不然,若有人問:『如何是長法身?』『三寸。』J40nB475_p0046c22『如何是短法身?』『六尺。』『恁麼則法身有二。』劈脊便棒。且J40nB475_p0046c23道與古人是同是別?試辨看。」

J40nB475_p0046c27開爐,上堂。「嵛山展衲僧巴鼻,湘水傳列祖心印。若也J40nB475_p0046c28會得,何須畫地為牢?設若狐疑,只得剋期取證。」以拂J40nB475_p0046c29子向空畫一圓相,曰:「直須打破者牢關,枝枝珊瑚撐J40nB475_p0046c30著月。」
J40nB475_p0047a01大士聖誕,上堂。「圓通大士何年生?一聲幽鳥送清音。J40nB475_p0047a02若將耳聽終難會,眼裏聞聲始契真。」

J40nB475_p0047a06上堂。「劫外靈光,個中玄旨。分明一句無私,貴在當人J40nB475_p0047a07領略。千手摸索不著,千眼顧鑒不到。直得案山點頭,J40nB475_p0047a08始有少分相應。」僧問:「德山入門便棒,臨濟入門便喝,J40nB475_p0047a09貝葉入門又作麼生?」師曰:「遇茶喫茶,遇飯喫飯。」曰:「有J40nB475_p0047a10句無句又何如?」師曰:「有事出坡,無事便坐。」曰:「恁麼則J40nB475_p0047a11仲春深谷英華茂,二月庭前錦繡紅。」師曰:「大似一聯J40nB475_p0047a12春意。」
J40nB475_p0047a13上堂。「無影林中丹鳳舞,不萌枝上葉叢叢。盡情揭露J40nB475_p0047a14無人委,落盡春花流水紅。」
J40nB475_p0047a15上堂。「虛空撲落地,壓倒洞庭秋,萬象安何處?千峰倒J40nB475_p0047a16卓頭。還有知此意者麼?」問:「虛空撲落地有幾片?」師打J40nB475_p0047a17曰:「一片也不著。」曰:「承師慈示。」師曰:「莫躲跟,更道看。」曰:J40nB475_p0047a18「若更道,頭上安頭。」師曰:「情知你道不得。」
J40nB475_p0047a19湘山飯僧,上堂。拈拄杖,曰:「者片地自無量壽佛於唐J40nB475_p0047a20時開闢以來,樓臺顯煥,寶塔稜層。我嶷山本師於順J40nB475_p0047a21治庚子弘開爐韝,大振雷音。今日長明居士請山僧J40nB475_p0047a22向者裡復作香飯佛事,直得三世諸佛、一切有情總J40nB475_p0047a23在者裡扇爐的扇爐、煮茶的煮茶、獻花的獻花、勺水J40nB475_p0047a24的勺水,現一切身,說一切法,接無量眾,成無上覺。你J40nB475_p0047a25等諸人還見麼?」復卓拄杖,曰:「千聖不知何處去?倚天J40nB475_p0047a26長劍逼人寒。」
