孤山晚參:「幻住山庵學種田扶犁拽耙度荒年J38nB410_p0338c05方容我閒林下業債未償驀鼻牽牽得來將謂三月J38nB410_p0338c06安居元來九旬利物且道利物與安居是同是別J38nB410_p0338c07向這裏廓開隻眼何佛不成何事不辦秪如為眾竭J38nB410_p0338c08力則固是賓主和融一句作麼生道?」卓拄杖:「搘笻J38nB410_p0338c09卓立孤山頂無限清風播穀城。」

座山立兩序晚參:「本色住山不假雕琢宗乘舉揚J38nB410_p0338c11有賓有主主伴交參高低互應可中必須氣分相投J38nB410_p0338c12神心相照直如雲騰雨致虎嘯風生愈出愈奇盡善J38nB410_p0338c13盡美且不辱師命一句作麼生道扶過斷橋水伴歸J38nB410_p0338c14明月村。」遂起身

報恩安首執小參:「佛佛授受祖祖相傳體用不二J38nB410_p0338c16事理昭然第一座第二座逢人不可錯舉如來禪J38nB410_p0338c17師禪好與一狀領過空中書梵宇門外接嘉賓大海J38nB410_p0338c18倒傾淨洗黧奴腸胃打開庫藏運出無盡奇珍鹽醬J38nB410_p0338c19不須多沙米一齊去不呼而應不令而從非但一期J38nB410_p0338c20佛事大觀且亦宗風肅振秪如荷擔重任者是什麼J38nB410_p0338c21阿呵呵一手不獨拍兩手鳴摑摑果是克家兒J38nB410_p0338c22有大人作。」

龍華立兩序晚參:「單單成兩五五非十佛法無多J38nB410_p0338c24也須輔弼冀各負傑出之才展摶天之翼從人J38nB410_p0338c25為眾竭力方中有圓權中有實鵲能結巢蜂能釀蜜J38nB410_p0338c26汝若忙時我便閒我若坐時汝須立記得古德有言J38nB410_p0338c27面赤不如語直。」

逸叟和尚至引座:「師資相見事如何白雪陽春誰J38nB410_p0338c29得和觸著龍池一滴水管教作雨潤娑婆極平坦J38nB410_p0338c30淆訛公案不將重審問何時待得鴨成鵝諸兄弟相J38nB410_p0339a01隨來也。」遂領眾申請

小參:「堂裏坐禪堂外禪坐行住坐臥不離這箇J38nB410_p0339a03點將來大似古廟精靈行家滯貨有價誰酬有相誰J38nB410_p0339a04水就濕火就燥為話諸禪流光陰莫錯過果然用J38nB410_p0339a05力十分自是疑團打破秪如打破後又作麼生不許J38nB410_p0339a06夜遊剛把火大家吹滅暗中行。」遂擔拄杖歸方丈

柯子尊諸居士請小參:「世出世間心無二心道無J38nB410_p0339a08二道處處綠楊堪繫馬家家門首透長安蓋由坐井J38nB410_p0339a09以致分岐何似烏山諸善信不惟敬重禪宗抑且不J38nB410_p0339a10假外求深自砥礪所謂我本無心有所希求今此寶J38nB410_p0339a11藏自然而至貴足以安邦富足以敵國不費心力J38nB410_p0339a12用現前諸善信還知寶藏現前麼在眼曰見在耳曰J38nB410_p0339a13在手執捉在足運奔古往今來人不識茫茫愁殺J38nB410_p0339a14釋迦文。」

鐵眉禪人請小參師舉:「應庵華禪師云:『趙州喫茶J38nB410_p0339a19實怕他不是債主便是冤家何故自古齋僧怕夜茶。』」J38nB410_p0339a20師云:「應庵打草驚蛇也是膽小這一盃茶有什麼難J38nB410_p0339a21喫處山僧則不然趙州喫茶我實愛他J38nB410_p0339a22亦可待禪家忽有個漢出來遭:『和尚因甚麼將他人J38nB410_p0339a23物作自?』向伊道:『有情來下種無地不生芽。』」

孝子楊清楊濤請對心素居士靈小參師云:「一取一J38nB410_p0339a25一去一來一動一靜總是生死岸頭事就生死中J38nB410_p0339a26覓個無生死處須是個人始得心素道長乃人中之J38nB410_p0339a27地上之仙以佛祖為師以溪山為舍是非不入J38nB410_p0339a28亂不關在德為德中尊在齒為齒中尊茲者葉落知J38nB410_p0339a29花開見佛則固是秪如穩坐高堂又如何話會?」J38nB410_p0339a30:「童容雪髮憑描注須信壺中別有天。」

雨巖主人請小參師云:「六鼇負島逞獰獰歲月久長J38nB410_p0339b02變作精卻把虛空打一棒銕牛背上血淋淋一跳驀J38nB410_p0339b03然攢入海直至于今沒處尋汝諸人尋得出來J38nB410_p0339b04杖子相見如無歸堂喫茶去。」復舉:「茶陵郁山主騎驢J38nB410_p0339b05陷足有省頌云:『我有驪珠一類久被塵勞羈鎖今朝J38nB410_p0339b06塵盡先生照破山河萬朵。』」師云:「美則美矣悟未悟在J38nB410_p0339b07山僧一頌也要諸人檢點我有山庵一座八面無欄J38nB410_p0339b08無鎖漠漠雨澆不溼𩖼𩖼風吹不倒匪惟深固幽遠J38nB410_p0339b09而且無人能到好個住庵翁終日鬧浩浩。」喝一喝J38nB410_p0339b10轉身

為六觀林居士對靈小參:「十載辭家墮五臺雲中J38nB410_p0339b12師子吼如雷翻身踢倒無根樹萬里江山去。」復曰:「J38nB410_p0339b13是六觀老居士晚年行履處諸人還知麼諸人知處J38nB410_p0339b14居士盡知居士知處諸人不知特借拂子略通一線J38nB410_p0339b15憶得二十年前居士念生死事大舍功名休文字J38nB410_p0339b16蓮山頂上風雨連床朝夕受深錐痛拶至於山窮水J38nB410_p0339b17得個轉身一路截斷佛祖葛藤跳出古今窠臼J38nB410_p0339b18戲名山飽餐風雪倏爾脫落形骸不動步到家矣J38nB410_p0339b19幕下孫子哀哀還親見汝阿爺面孔麼若也未見J38nB410_p0339b20爾指出。」豎拂子:「秪這是。」復擊禪床:「蒼天蒼天。」J38nB410_p0339b21退座

默山西堂請小參:「臥雲深處不朝天盡在寒巖野J38nB410_p0339b23水邊渴飲饑餐無別事且隨歲月種荒田所以古人J38nB410_p0339b24得意之後三二十年影不出山大似破布褁明珠J38nB410_p0339b25點精光不肯透露至於經行掉臂無不與西來意契J38nB410_p0339b26仰不愧天俯不怍人然後被人推出作個後昆模J38nB410_p0339b27向佛祖行不到處接一箇半箇同炊銕釘飯共煮J38nB410_p0339b28木楂羹堪報不報之恩共助無為之化。」一僧出云:「J38nB410_p0339b29尚恁麼道也是憐兒不覺醜。」師云:「低聲低聲。」遂轉身

居士請小參:「殊無別術只消一念純真務本J38nB410_p0339c01終不忘本知恩方解報恩且道誰是報恩者試窣J38nB410_p0339c02昔釋迦初行道時千劫學威儀萬劫學細行盡十方J38nB410_p0339c03世界無芥子許不是釋迦捨身命處然後降皇宮J38nB410_p0339c04嬪侍棄山河社稷如拋敝屣登雪嶺伏波旬受麻麥J38nB410_p0339c05風霜如飲醍醐及乎夜半睹星悟道:『奇哉一切聚J38nB410_p0339c06生具有如來智慧德相但以妄想執著不能證得。』J38nB410_p0339c07今罪根方淨成佛無疑升忉利天為母說法回皇宮J38nB410_p0339c08為父舁櫬此是第一等報恩人也又盧行者初賣柴J38nB410_p0339c09於街上聞僧誦經:『應無所住而生其心。』遂有省J38nB410_p0339c10僧云:『此經從何所得?』僧云:『得於黃梅五祖處。』者即將J38nB410_p0339c11母托養千人徑往黃梅參五祖祖問云:『仁者從何方J38nB410_p0339c12?』者云:『從新州來。』祖云:『來何所求?』者云:『不求餘物J38nB410_p0339c13求作佛。』祖云:『獦獠人焉能作佛?』者云:『人有南北佛性J38nB410_p0339c14豈有分別耶?』祖知其敏利遣入碓坊後祖因見其偈J38nB410_p0339c15:『菩提本無樹明鏡亦非臺本來無一物何處惹塵J38nB410_p0339c16?』祖即夜半傳衣令其渡江隱於獵隊將知緣熟J38nB410_p0339c17華林寺聞二僧論風旛不契者云:『非風旛動仁者心J38nB410_p0339c18。』印宗法師聞之大驚詰其所以者以實告印宗遂J38nB410_p0339c19請剃度受戒仍禮為師開法曹溪為第六祖此是第J38nB410_p0339c20二等報恩人也又睦州久參黃檗從得法之後歸家J38nB410_p0339c21惟製蒲履以奉母仍時時喚之母云:『我在這裏何須J38nB410_p0339c22呼喚?』州云:『母若不應兒即遠去。』母疑之後有省:『J38nB410_p0339c23喚一聲應一聲聲聲喚出本來人于今不用吾兒喚J38nB410_p0339c24月印寒潭徹底清。』此亦是第二等報恩人也如斯之J38nB410_p0339c25車載斗量不勝盡舉茲現前大眾各自揣摩看J38nB410_p0339c26有少分如古人者非但報恩竟即生生父母亦超入J38nB410_p0339c27如來地矣其或未然向下文長付在來日。」

除夕小參:「賞菊東籬日未賒霜花倏忽散天涯J38nB410_p0339c29陰步步催人老猶有行人未到家秪如諸雲水高流J38nB410_p0339c30還有家可到也無?」豎拂子:「向這裏會去直得峭巍J38nB410_p0340a01空索索寬若太虛閒如野鶴不為白首拘不為青J38nB410_p0340a02大家團圞頭飽嚼乾蘿蔔任臘月三十日到來J38nB410_p0340a03依舊頭髼鬆耳卓朔家家爆竹喧天處處笙歌沸壚J38nB410_p0340a04總不干我等之事趙州云:『世人被十二時使老僧使J38nB410_p0340a05得十二時。』豈虛語哉倘有人云:『如今年豐物阜海晏J38nB410_p0340a06河清因甚不烹牛分歲?』向伊道:『春耕在邇不可犯禁。』」J38nB410_p0340a07遂歸方丈

萬善天懷西堂請小參師云:「二由一有一亦莫守J38nB410_p0340a09眼豁開雞不鳴丑柳綠花黃春三秋九同喫趙州茶J38nB410_p0340a10共飲曹山酒吐盡野狐涎便解獅子吼萬善雖同歸J38nB410_p0340a11一物亦不受大眾飽齁齁。」拍案左邊云:「蘇州有。」拍右J38nB410_p0340a12邊云:「常州有。」

陳瞳陳睓請薦考醒園居士小參:「兔走鳥飛不暫J38nB410_p0340a14百年光景一宵燈人間況似華胥夢甑裡黃粱熟J38nB410_p0340a15朱曾以此觀之出入輪迴速如彈指棄遺身命頃在J38nB410_p0340a16剎那從前生居望族名列勝流日與琴書作對以木J38nB410_p0340a17石為家渾一大夢也杯中傾盡三更月庭際多栽有J38nB410_p0340a18品花聲利不干懷兒孫娛遶膝渾一大夢也至於苦J38nB410_p0340a19逆順生老病死總是一場大夢若以大夢之場轉J38nB410_p0340a20作大覺之場以榮華之界視作空華之界則何有身J38nB410_p0340a21可遺有命可棄耶無命可棄慧命等金剛之固無身J38nB410_p0340a22可遺法身超終始之圜萬法不能拘萬物不能壞J38nB410_p0340a23括百城周羅三界濁世樂邦面目現在。」豎拂子:「J38nB410_p0340a24見麼?」便起身

陳明由薦親請小參師云:「生事死葬當盡常儀以孝J38nB410_p0340a26度親須憑玅法使先人登般若之門遊華藏之海J38nB410_p0340a27出苦輪永甦大夢是以孝子明由等秉持五戒奉行J38nB410_p0340a28十善圖報親恩便超出常儀了也秪如伊先慈趙氏J38nB410_p0340a29般若門作麼生登華藏海作麼生遊?」以拂子打圓相J38nB410_p0340a30:「靜夜寒光白散空庭之雪疏林楓葉紅飛二月之J38nB410_p0340b01佛號經聲鐘鳴鼓響向這裡安身立命去三千剎J38nB410_p0340b02海不隔毫端五百應真常為伴侶山僧說盡老婆禪J38nB410_p0340b03悟來也是閒言語且道如何是真實語?」遂起身作女J38nB410_p0340b04人拜:「伏惟尚饗。」

冬至小參:「群陰剝盡一陽復亨枯幹花開寒冰J38nB410_p0340b06且道無根樹還解開花也無?」師云:「一朵兩朵了。」J38nB410_p0340b07進云:「叫不應山還會發燄否?」師將香一吹:「見麼?」J38nB410_p0340b08:「無陰陽地還有剝復也無?」師舉足頓地:「會麼?」J38nB410_p0340b09拂具:「爭似這個不變遷?」師喝僧亦喝師云:「好個伶J38nB410_p0340b10俐漢。」僧云:「且喜大眾證明。」師云:「不識羞。」乃云:「皓月團J38nB410_p0340b11枯泉滴滴一雨少滋千山寒色欄有牛園有麥J38nB410_p0340b12恁麼時昇平之兆可期生動之機叵測不須瑞現五J38nB410_p0340b13陽生一畫。」豎拂子:「秪這一畫蒼頡見之攢J38nB410_p0340b14鶖子亦難摸索叵耐洞山老古錐白日青天向家J38nB410_p0340b15裏作賊既在動用之中因甚麼收拾不得?」遂顧視左J38nB410_p0340b16:「諸人宜急究斯宗莫待當來問彌勒。」

洋山良忠公請小參:「洋峰頂上嘯月觀星撥草瞻J38nB410_p0340b18只圖見性且道性在什麼處?」師云:「扶過斷橋水。」J38nB410_p0340b19:「惟此一事實餘二則非真。」師云:「伴歸明月村。」僧云J38nB410_p0340b20畢竟水須朝海去到頭雲定覓山歸。」師云:「賺殺一船J38nB410_p0340b21。」乃云:「鬱鬱蒼松漪漪綠竹縮尾藏頭孤峰獨宿J38nB410_p0340b22一片畬收幾籮粟暑往寒來千勻萬足總不似抱琴J38nB410_p0340b23明月下彈出陽春曲所以道任汝兩肩荷負如來J38nB410_p0340b24恒沙劫不能報佛恩欲報佛恩須是荷擔大法作人J38nB410_p0340b25天眼目與佛祖為師山僧三十年前曾中此毒無人J38nB410_p0340b26救療直至如今病猶未愈現前大眾還有相救者麼J38nB410_p0340b27如無山僧自救去也。」倚杖作嘔吐勢:「啊㖿啊㖿。」J38nB410_p0340b28方丈

小參:「選佛場開宇宙寬紅罏撥著火星寒超宗越J38nB410_p0340b30格即不問直指當人請師宣。」師云:「左搓草繩鬼子。」J38nB410_p0340c01進云:「某甲承當去也。」師云:「也是自。」乃云:「入海不J38nB410_p0340c02避蛟龍漁人之勇登山不避虎兕樵夫之勇法戰不J38nB410_p0340c03顧危亡衲僧之勇此一勇可以焰祖燈可以超生死J38nB410_p0340c04輪刀上陣如入無人之境逢佛殺佛逢祖殺祖一朝J38nB410_p0340c05奏凱方知功不浪施吾今為汝保任斯事終不虛也。」J38nB410_p0340c06喝一喝

王明慈薦考妣並諸親眷請小參:「山蒼蒼水茫茫J38nB410_p0340c08雲收萬里月朗長空天花散彩玉磬敲風一一莊嚴J38nB410_p0340c09法界一一透露本光還鄉者不勞轉步到岸者直下J38nB410_p0340c10承當如出籠之鶴如脫網之鱗擲天堂地獄於三千J38nB410_p0340c11界外任性逍遙於香水海鼓枻而歌曰:『暑往寒來春J38nB410_p0340c12復秋夕陽西下水東流將軍戰馬今何在野草寒花J38nB410_p0340c13滿地愁。』令見者聞者頓瀉熱腸寒毛卓豎正恁麼時J38nB410_p0340c14且道是人薦靈耶靈薦人耶?」擊如意:「不是久經行J38nB410_p0340c15陣者何能一箭落雙鵰?」

小參。「擔囊負笈為覓知音撥草瞻風秪圖見性即今J38nB410_p0340c17諸人性在什麼處若知落處一切淆訛盡皆瓦解冰J38nB410_p0340c18因甚有明與不明只為未曾下死工夫大徹一番J38nB410_p0340c19所以觸途成滯山僧今夜特向席上爭光去古德云J38nB410_p0340c20識得凳子周匝有餘。』又云:『識得凳子天地懸殊。』又云J38nB410_p0340c21識得凳子四稜踏地。』這三句裏有一句敲金珠玉J38nB410_p0340c22一句斬釘截鐵有一句和泥合水若辨別得卻來方J38nB410_p0340c23丈裏通個消息賞汝一個胡餅若一向粟麥不分J38nB410_p0340c24水也須防噎。」

小參。「沉沉螭殿控漁樵一徑紆迴接石橋煙火叢中J38nB410_p0340c26面得壁炎炎六月雪花飄秪如六月因甚有雪花飄J38nB410_p0340c27若是個中人冷眼覷破鬧市深山總一道場擇火燒J38nB410_p0340c28香無非佛事可以諸緣頓息可以眾善奉行所謂說J38nB410_p0340c29得一丈不如行得一尺說得一尺不如行得一寸。」J38nB410_p0340c30拄杖:「且道這一寸還有人行得麼若行不得總是J38nB410_p0341a01立地死漢。」眾久立師云:「汝等總行不得且看山僧起J38nB410_p0341a02模畫樣去。」遂歸方丈

薦許氏小參:「樹凋葉落露秋風鏡裡浮華徹底空J38nB410_p0341a04無位真人何處去世間有水不朝東所謂處生死流J38nB410_p0341a05驪珠獨耀於滄海踞涅槃岸桂輪孤朗於碧天許氏J38nB410_p0341a06孺人倘會得置身於閨閣之中覓其生相了不可得J38nB410_p0341a07視天地若蘧篨種冰霜為茶飯至四相歸空百年悟J38nB410_p0341a08覓其死相了不可得淨居樂土隨念即家既無生J38nB410_p0341a09相又無死相則生死自度了也山僧拄杖子未離蓮J38nB410_p0341a10山早證明了也及乎泛孤舟臨堂奧指點個什麼J38nB410_p0341a11若未證謂證未悟謂悟本是善因反招惡果拄杖子J38nB410_p0341a12功不浪施特指個實證實悟處去。」畫圓相:「掌內明J38nB410_p0341a13珠輕托出管教步步躡蓮花。」

南林請小參:「諸佛未出世各各眼橫鼻直及至出J38nB410_p0341a15世後便即腳跟不點地有名不宣有相不禮惟有南J38nB410_p0341a16林諸禪人腳跟從來俱點地聞名便宣見相便禮J38nB410_p0341a17聲清磬動林泉一派梵音通天地不但福慧雙修J38nB410_p0341a18亦利人利世有個漢出來道:『這無意智漢到處不與J38nB410_p0341a19人解粘去縛抽釘拔楔秪管順水放舟乘風舉棹。』J38nB410_p0341a20僧聞之點一杯茶賞他何故竹密不妨流水過山高J38nB410_p0341a21豈礙白雲飛?」復舉:「僧問雲門:『如何是諸佛出身處?』J38nB410_p0341a22:『東山水上行。』雲門老漢果然腳跟不點地圓悟云J38nB410_p0341a23天寧則不然若有問:「如何是諸佛出身處?」向他道:「J38nB410_p0341a24風自南來殿閣生微涼。」』圓悟伸出一隻手脫卻天下J38nB410_p0341a25人汗臭則不無爭奈熨斗煎茶不同銚若問山僧J38nB410_p0341a26如何是諸佛出身處?』向他道:『孟春猶寒不煩久立。』」

薦無波禪德請小參:「頂天立地迥無依覓道覓禪J38nB410_p0341a28沒了期弄到眼光撲落地依然不見兩莖眉。」卓拄杖J38nB410_p0341a29:「拄杖頂𩕳通一線石人無口笑嘻嘻到這裏釋迦J38nB410_p0341a30老子也須百離碎達磨大師倒退三千里外推倒葛J38nB410_p0341b01藤椿平沉涅槃岸說甚麼無雲生嶺上有月落波心J38nB410_p0341b02伶俐漢聞著向背地裏咬斷拇指:『老老大大青天J38nB410_p0341b03白日說鬼話。』山僧也怪伊不得何故若非其父不生J38nB410_p0341b04其子。」

鄭大經等請薦雙親小參:「生不出死不入銕腳鷺J38nB410_p0341b06鶿水上立生如寄死如歸桂輪無處不沉揮敬宇鄭J38nB410_p0341b07翁若達此意則似腰纏十萬貫騎鶴上楊州傍花隨J38nB410_p0341b08遊水玩山無不自得倘若情生智隔想變體殊J38nB410_p0341b09暑迭遷死生交謝門外無回日信路頭空有望鄉J38nB410_p0341b10山僧承孝子之請特為指歸撥通線路。」畫⊕相J38nB410_p0341b11直得敬翁不涉路程歸寧穩坐令合門心安意泰J38nB410_p0341b12喪考妣之哀夫唱婦隨同取涅槃之概彼此之心J38nB410_p0341b13去來之相皆空且燕息高堂一句作麼生道?」良久J38nB410_p0341b14:「當陽伸出僧繇手一對鴛鴦畫不成。」

薦僧洞如請小參:「既著方袍須興大志將生死大J38nB410_p0341b16事當為古之悟證者如稻麻竹葦今之塗說者J38nB410_p0341b17如稻麻竹葦豈不見大慧杲初參方云:『古佛放光留J38nB410_p0341b18不住鐵牛無腳也須行雖然未踏曹溪路且喜今朝J38nB410_p0341b19離火坑。』汝諸人還出火坑也未如未必須整頓手腳J38nB410_p0341b20一番又不見劍門分不捨寸陰遍叩尊宿未甚發明J38nB410_p0341b21後於街上聞喝道云:『侍郎來侍郎來!』遂大悟:『幾年J38nB410_p0341b22底事掛胸懷問盡諸方眼不開骨髓皮膚熬粉碎J38nB410_p0341b23聲江上侍即來。』到此方謂懸崖撒手自肯承當而今J38nB410_p0341b24世諦語言綿綿不綴因甚聞而不悟蓋由不將大事J38nB410_p0341b25為事甘自陸沉秪如骨髓皮膚熬粉碎何處更有J38nB410_p0341b26劍門無劍門則無洞如無洞如則無升沉生死更超J38nB410_p0341b27拔個什麼?」敲拂子:「洞如洞如切莫忘卻。」
