示眾。「至道無難惟憑息見祗此息見二字是斷生死J37nB390_p0539a05根株底刀子何以你若不作生死見何處得有生死J37nB390_p0539a06有般底認著未開口前是主開口後是賓既認J37nB390_p0539a07著未開口時是主豈不是死見認著開口後是賓J37nB390_p0539a08不是生見未開口無問無答無見無聞豈不是J37nB390_p0539a09屬無開口後有問有答有主有賓豈不是屬有J37nB390_p0539a10恁麼分別有無俱在生死全張正落在斷常坑裏J37nB390_p0539a11何叫做了生脫死我且問你未開口賓在甚麼J37nB390_p0539a12既開口後主在甚麼處正恁麼時莫是賓主歷然J37nB390_p0539a13若你何者是你自莫見恁麼道便云二邊俱不J37nB390_p0539a14中道不須安逢人便喝逢人便打謂之洒落不認J37nB390_p0539a15又將古人卻物為上逐物為下之句為証若恁麼J37nB390_p0539a16二邊中道總成心外之法汝所認者即是法外之心J37nB390_p0539a17轉見不堪不見退翁師祖道:『要去佛見莫以靜處為J37nB390_p0539a18要去眾生見莫以鬧處為非。』所以我去歲在毘盧J37nB390_p0539a19除夕曾作偈示蘊書記曰:『日日日是三十日時時時J37nB390_p0539a20是未生時今日大年三十日來朝元旦拜年時。』還會J37nB390_p0539a21如不會只須自著精彩別人替你不得莫只認名J37nB390_p0539a22認相認言語古人只叫你體會大道不曾叫你認著J37nB390_p0539a23一切轉加生死須知師家一言半句借路逕過他不J37nB390_p0539a24作箇解會他不將實法繫縛人潼泉恁麼道是惡J37nB390_p0539a25口罪過不少言多則去道遠矣待汝打破蔡州城J37nB390_p0539a26卻吳元濟時再來與汝商量久立珍重。」

除夜兩序請上堂:「北禪賢禪師小參:『年窮歲盡J37nB390_p0539a28無可與諸人分歲老僧烹一頭露地白牛炊黍米飯J37nB390_p0539a29煮野菜根燒骨柮火大家喫了唱村田樂何故免見J37nB390_p0539a30倚他門戶傍他牆剛被時人喚作郎。』便下座歸方丈J37nB390_p0539b01至夜深維那入方丈:『縣中有公人勾和尚。』禪曰:『J37nB390_p0539b02什麼?』那云:『道和尚宰牛不納皮角。』禪遂捋下頭帽擲J37nB390_p0539b03在地上那便拾去禪跳下禪床攔胸擒住叫云:『!』J37nB390_p0539b04那將帽覆禪頂:『天寒且還和尚。』禪呵呵大笑那便J37nB390_p0539b05出去時法昌為侍者禪顧昌云:『這公案作麼生?』昌云J37nB390_p0539b06潭州紙貴一狀領過。』」師云:「北禪私宰耕牛惹人聒噪J37nB390_p0539b07雖然膽潑未是好手若無一箇頭帽不知將底完事J37nB390_p0539b08潼泉這裏年窮歲盡亦無可與諸人分歲只是煮瓔J37nB390_p0539b09珞粥烹野菜根大家喫得飽鼻鼻地彼彼山中人共J37nB390_p0539b10說山中話雖然有頭水牯牛從不曾將眼覷著任他J37nB390_p0539b11山頭山尾溪東溪西有時耕雲犁雨帶水拖泥有時J37nB390_p0539b12高臥煙霞藏頭不須照顧那假鞭繩?」擊拂子J37nB390_p0539b13聲召眾:「還見麼頭角崢嶸芳草地皮毛交互月明J37nB390_p0539b14。」便下座

安陸府三閒闍黎元旦設齋請上堂拈香祝 聖畢J37nB390_p0539b16就座:「香嚴閒禪師曰:『去年貧未是貧今年貧始是J37nB390_p0539b17去年貧猶有卓錐之地今年貧錐也無。』洞山文和J37nB390_p0539b18尚曰:『去年富不是富今年富始是富去年富祗有一J37nB390_p0539b19領黑黲布褊衫今年富添得一件百衲山水袈裟J37nB390_p0539b20朝抖擻呈禪客實謂風流出當家。』」師云:「二大老一人J37nB390_p0539b21誇富一人張貧彼此異趨互分途轍潼泉也不富J37nB390_p0539b22不貧天高地厚日月齊明祗餘一頂袈裟在遞代相J37nB390_p0539b23傳無舊新信手拈來撩亂搭忍辱柔和似不曾法王J37nB390_p0539b24寶座親登陟為祝 皇王億萬春。」拈拄杖卓一下J37nB390_p0539b25此是祖花孫重父業子承且道還有欣誇也無?」喝一J37nB390_p0539b26:「四海浪平龍穩睡九天雲盡鳳高騰。」

辛酉人日毘盧瑛監寺設齋請小參:「雲門道:『直得J37nB390_p0539b28盡乾坤無纖毫過患猶是轉句不見一色始是半提J37nB390_p0539b29更須知有向上全提時節。』作麼生是全提的句?」一僧J37nB390_p0539b30:「不得春風力怎見百花香?」師云:「猶是轉句。」一僧云J37nB390_p0539c01掀翻海嶽求知撥轉乾坤見太平。」師豎起拂子云J37nB390_p0539c02試向這裏撥看。」僧一喝師云:「何曾撥得?」一僧出禮拜J37nB390_p0539c03歸位師云:「大似真。」乃曰:「瑛監寺去歲發心欲於元旦J37nB390_p0539c04辦齋山僧不許初二初三亦不許那至人日昨夜知J37nB390_p0539c05客來報:『明日要請上堂。』山僧曰:『我這裏正徹困上甚J37nB390_p0539c06麼堂?』再乞不許他小參一夜思量無啟口處至早J37nB390_p0539c07粥後供過童子謂曰:『掛小參牌了也。』我曾問副寺J37nB390_p0539c08:『如何是小參?』寺曰:『吃粥。』『如何是大參?』寺曰:『吃飯。』J37nB390_p0539c09僧道:『只恐不是玉是玉也大奇。』乃問童子:『汝作麼生J37nB390_p0539c10?』童曰:『是真底。』山僧便劈面一掌童忙然山僧叱曰J37nB390_p0539c11!』童便珍重去且道淆訛在甚麼處於此明得全提J37nB390_p0539c12半提自知下落乃至德山棒臨濟喝柏樹子麻三斤J37nB390_p0539c13乾矢橛俱胝指石鞏弓一一如觀掌果於此不明J37nB390_p0539c14尺之間何啻千里萬里?」復舉:「本仁禪師上堂曰:『老僧J37nB390_p0539c15尋常不欲向聲前色後鼓弄人家男女何故且聲不J37nB390_p0539c16是聲色不是色。』僧問:『如何是聲不是聲?』仁曰:『喚作色J37nB390_p0539c17得麼?』『如何是色不是色?』仁曰:『汝喚作聲得麼?』僧作禮J37nB390_p0539c18仁曰:『且道為汝說答汝話若向者裏會得有箇入處。』」J37nB390_p0539c19師拈拄杖卓一下:「機輪轉處誰堪委縱是張良恐J37nB390_p0539c20損神。」又卓一卓下座

如城托缽小參:「阿難入廛托缽世尊曰:『當依七佛J37nB390_p0539c22儀式。』阿難問曰:『如何是七佛儀式?』世尊喚阿難阿難J37nB390_p0539c23應諾尊曰:『托缽去。』」師舉畢乃大咳一聲眾罔措復曰J37nB390_p0539c24若更問如何是七佛儀式待歸來時為汝說破。」

普度寺西印闍黎領周新宇唐玉卿嚴美吾袁玉林J37nB390_p0539c26居士設齋請上堂師曰:「有情之本依智海以為源J37nB390_p0539c27識之流總法身而為體識得此體聖凡一體識得此J37nB390_p0539c28河海一源其或不然未免為蛇添足去也。」拈拄杖J37nB390_p0539c29卓一下:「男兒自有衝天志不向如來行處行。」

解制上堂:「東風拂盡凍雲天春在枝頭眾鳥喧J37nB390_p0540a01匝千重即不問衝關奪角請師宣。」師云:「一任輕帆過J37nB390_p0540a02洞庭。」進云:「教中道:『若謂如來有所說法即為謗佛。』J37nB390_p0540a03尚即今是有說耶無說耶?」師豎起拂子進云:「恁麼則J37nB390_p0540a04嘗憶江南三月裏鷓鴣啼處百花香。」師云:「且緩緩。」J37nB390_p0540a05:「今朝正月半打鼓普請看一日三上堂分明呈舊J37nB390_p0540a06露柱掛燈籠山門穿佛殿嶺梅造次開池水斟酌J37nB390_p0540a07萬別與千差吾道一以貫。」拈拄杖卓一卓:「放出J37nB390_p0540a08南山白額驚散狐狼野干。」拈拄杖下座

慧明大德為師亮如五旬誕辰請陞座喝一喝曰:「J37nB390_p0540a10此明得其壽也廣其德也隆其福也厚其孝也至J37nB390_p0540a11世諸佛無不於此度生歷代祖師無不於此說法J37nB390_p0540a12下老和尚無不於此建立宗旨乃至接引後昆老幼J37nB390_p0540a13貴賤男女僧俗無不於此立命安身受用自在一切J37nB390_p0540a14智智清淨無二無二分無別無斷故釋迦老子說到J37nB390_p0540a15這裏是隨波逐浪山僧不妨多處添些。」擊拂子曰J37nB390_p0540a16雲外來硃頂鶴庭前久立翠髯松。」

竟陵廣德聶善人請陞座。「觀自在菩薩行深般若波J37nB390_p0540a18羅密多時照見五蘊皆空五蘊空處用無盡用無盡J37nB390_p0540a19處力有餘力有餘處生死滅生死滅處眼中楔眼中J37nB390_p0540a20既不容楔則無戲論之法亦無驚異之談湛寂虛凝J37nB390_p0540a21了無依倚雖居塵勞火宅恒修般若正因雖處窮谷J37nB390_p0540a22深山不捨度生之念一毫頭上分身萬象叢中獨露J37nB390_p0540a23一為無量無量為一大中現小小中現大上合十方J37nB390_p0540a24諸佛同一慈力下合一切眾生同一悲仰雖然如是J37nB390_p0540a25要且不是衲僧行履處且如何是衲僧行履處?」以拄J37nB390_p0540a26杖架肩:「楖栗橫擔不顧人直入千峰萬峰去。」便下J37nB390_p0540a27

辛酉仲春十三日為先老和尚小祥陞座拈香曰:「J37nB390_p0540a29一瓣香以萬丈廬山為其始高厚莫及以千仞黃鵠J37nB390_p0540a30為其終寬廣有餘爇向爐中供養孤危不立道出常J37nB390_p0540b01情嘯堂大和尚。」衣就座:「去年今日實不去捻指J37nB390_p0540b02光陰三百日今年今日實不來相將攜手上花臺J37nB390_p0540b03勤報與諸禪客現成面目莫疑猜作麼生是現成面J37nB390_p0540b04?」良久曰:「萬古長空風月在一回相見一傷神。」

竟陵紫芝菴又唯襄仁二當家同非隱法師設齋J37nB390_p0540b06上堂乃云:「窮玄究妙徒費精神向上提持望空啟告J37nB390_p0540b07二途不涉誰是知音棒喝交馳難為作者直饒迦文J37nB390_p0540b08始祖四十九年橫說豎說廣說略說秘密J37nB390_p0540b09不定皆為逗機之談未是真實之說。」遂拈起拄杖曰J37nB390_p0540b10偏也圓也頓也漸也是秘密是不定。」隨卓一卓J37nB390_p0540b11三段不同收歸上科。」

上堂拈拄杖卓一下:「恁麼會得正是眼中撒沙J37nB390_p0540b13裏注水不恁麼會亦如敲冰索火緣木求魚潼泉恁J37nB390_p0540b14麼道何異身外尋身夢中說夢誰知道無迷悟發證J37nB390_p0540b15由師運萬行之因華嚴一身之極果或尋師於窮谷J37nB390_p0540b16或禮友於市廛循途覺尊漸進知尊直須燒卻青龍J37nB390_p0540b17始解呵佛罵祖不惜桶底脫自然蓋地函天。」乃大J37nB390_p0540b18喝一喝:「還會麼出群本是英靈漢敵勝還他獅子J37nB390_p0540b19。」

晚參。「六祖云:『非風動非幡動仁者心動。』曾覺云:『非心J37nB390_p0540b21。』」師曰:「既非風心動畢竟作麼生動?」一僧云:「現成J37nB390_p0540b22行貨不欠分文。」師展手:「布施一文來。」僧禮拜師打J37nB390_p0540b23:「元來將不出。」良久乃曰:「非風動非幡動等閒藉沒J37nB390_p0540b24空王俸是風動是幡動蛇死從來須活弄曹溪路上J37nB390_p0540b25覓疏親勸君莫作辰朝夢。」喝一喝:「前路艱危伏惟J37nB390_p0540b26珍重。」

丙午仲夏雲南沅江府駐鎮總戎王公起龍太守潘J37nB390_p0540b28公士秀請師就本郡萬德禪寺為四眾說三檀大戒J37nB390_p0540b29仍請陞座問答竟師乃豎起拄杖招眾曰:「看看J37nB390_p0540b30從威音王那畔更那畔無有威音王名字卓有這箇J37nB390_p0540c01頭頭無礙法法全該不用思量十分成現及至拈花J37nB390_p0540c02微笑畫樣起模斷臂安心分枝布葉今日落在萬德J37nB390_p0540c03手裏了無顧惜。」卓一卓曰:「恁麼放去如天普蓋。」又卓J37nB390_p0540c04一卓曰:「恁麼收來似地普擎。」連卓兩卓曰:「不收不放J37nB390_p0540c05地厚天高全放全收天迴地轉離此四句且作麼生J37nB390_p0540c06承當?」良久乃大喝一喝云:「你若肩背有力盡情擔取J37nB390_p0540c07。」復舉:「僧問乾峰:『十方婆伽梵一路涅槃門未審路J37nB390_p0540c08頭在什處?』峰以拄杖畫一畫曰:『在這裏。』」師云:「可惜一J37nB390_p0540c09路涅槃門被乾峰一時畫斷不但這僧踏腳不上J37nB390_p0540c10令十方婆伽梵進退無由若問萬德:『路頭在什處?』J37nB390_p0540c11向他道:『看腳下。』若是眼清腳健底敢保得路便行J37nB390_p0540c12來這僧舉似雲門門曰:『扇子𨁝跳上三十三天觸著J37nB390_p0540c13帝釋鼻孔東海鯉魚打一棒雨似盆傾。』雲門慈悲J37nB390_p0540c14殺八字打開叵耐這僧依然不能入作。」召眾云:「還知J37nB390_p0540c15二大老總被這擔板漢一齊看破了也且道畢竟J37nB390_p0540c16路頭在什麼處平地上抬腳不起底有甚麼限?」便J37nB390_p0540c17下座

晚參。「未跨門限早與三十入門來合喫多少?」僧才J37nB390_p0540c19師便打僧一喝師又打一僧曰:「喫棒了也。」J37nB390_p0540c20:「把髻投衙。」僧一喝師曰:「蝦跳何曾出得斗。」

上堂。「佛法二字匙挑不上筯攪不開風吹不入雨洒J37nB390_p0540c22不濕孤迥迥活潑潑取之無能捨之不得有時遍天J37nB390_p0540c23涯而無朕跡有時無朕跡而遍天涯不是神通妙用J37nB390_p0540c24亦非法爾如然脫下貼肉布衫頭頭赤體全提不坐J37nB390_p0540c25百尺竿頭著著渾彰大用向赫日裏崩雷晴空中走J37nB390_p0540c26斷大小乘於井索錢貫塞有無漏於笊籬木杓J37nB390_p0540c27聲色於聲色超死生於死生水到渠成風行草偃J37nB390_p0540c28恁麼時如何受用?」喝一喝:「打麵還他州土麥唱歌J37nB390_p0540c29須是帝鄉人。」

為新戒晚參拈起拄杖:「過去諸如來斯門J37nB390_p0541a01成就。」左邊卓一卓:「且向這邊立未來修學人當依J37nB390_p0541a02如是學。」右邊卓一卓:「且向這邊立現在諸菩薩J37nB390_p0541a03各入圓明。」中間卓一卓:「且向正中立。」豎起拄杖J37nB390_p0541a04更有一人居何位次識得此人不但一生參學事畢J37nB390_p0541a05抑令戒體當處圓成便能截生死流登無為岸梯航J37nB390_p0541a06九有津濟四生。」隨擲下拄杖:「佛子住此地則是佛J37nB390_p0541a07受用。」

晚參拈拄杖扣空:「敲空作響誰是知音?」復擊禪床J37nB390_p0541a09:「擊木無聲徒勞側耳嚇得無位真人七顛八倒J37nB390_p0541a10也扶不起把也把不定試問諸人如何與伊作主J37nB390_p0541a11山僧今日失利。」

上堂。「一九與二九相逢不出手三九與四九騎馬冰J37nB390_p0541a13上走撞著跨虎豐干笑我衣穿露肘滿面慚惶忍不J37nB390_p0541a14急喚春光早回首柳漸舒眉桃漸開口萬卉敷榮J37nB390_p0541a15眾竅哮吼文殊普賢齊奔競走咄咄休奔走此身J37nB390_p0541a16在長安莫問咸陽到否。」

法華寺法印闍黎五旬初度設齋請上堂乃曰:「初二J37nB390_p0541a18囫圇無縫罅初二日洞達沒遮欄正當J37nB390_p0541a19初二日八面靈瓏十方通暢進一步日照寒光澹退J37nB390_p0541a20一步山遙翠色新折旋契其祖意俯仰順於時宜J37nB390_p0541a21好恁麼時節何妨多處添些潼泉本色住山毫無蓄J37nB390_p0541a22豎劈洞山貼秤底橫織段錦文義交加細披雲門J37nB390_p0541a23奉持底高飣滿盛滋味具足三世諸佛歷代祖師一J37nB390_p0541a24總吞吐不下山僧親從神通大光明藏來有箇方便J37nB390_p0541a25使天下衲僧領文義於光彩門頭識滋味於舌根之J37nB390_p0541a26這般說話也是慶讚因齊祗如不落數量一句作J37nB390_p0541a27麼生道?」驀豎拂子:「清光恒遍炤天命又重新。」揮拂J37nB390_p0541a28下座

佛成道日說菩薩大戒景陵圓智道人設齋請上堂J37nB390_p0541a30黃面老人昨夜三更失卻火天明起來失卻井上大J37nB390_p0541b01人全無依倚丘乙沒處躲根爾小生孟孟浪浪J37nB390_p0541b02曾知覺行者起來敲鐘伐鼓截路攔街山僧大步連J37nB390_p0541b03忙趕上一手和贓捉敗。」喝一喝:「聲聞緣覺諸佛J37nB390_p0541b04民非水火不生活日用現行一一皆從這裏去J37nB390_p0541b05物既在你敢大膽既到公堂且作麼生判斷?」復喝一J37nB390_p0541b06:「可知禮也。」

師到德山訪山學和尚當日率武陵眾居士請上堂J37nB390_p0541b08:「大振宗風即不問威音那畔事如何?」師云:「且過這J37nB390_p0541b09邊著。」進云:「水向石邊流出冷風從花裏過來香。」師云J37nB390_p0541b10那裏得者消息來?」僧禮拜師棒:「切忌錯承當。」乃云J37nB390_p0541b11衲僧行履若片雲舒卷無心道者家風似野鶴飛騰J37nB390_p0541b12絕跡掀翻海岳未遇賞音掇轉乾坤欣逢知制毒J37nB390_p0541b13調正象有我法兄和尚提正眼振頹綱直接德山J37nB390_p0541b14老人某暫到來命陞此座辭既不獲只得客聽主裁J37nB390_p0541b15若論佛法豈肯唐突大眾?」乃拈拄杖卓一卓:「還委J37nB390_p0541b16悉麼只有天在上更無山與齊。」

景陵胡夫人五旬誕辰請上堂。「漠漠水田白鷺類之J37nB390_p0541b18弗齊陰陰夏木黃鸝混即知處法身無相南山翠聳J37nB390_p0541b19千尋法眼無瑕東海碧澄萬丈塵塵華藏莊嚴剎剎J37nB390_p0541b20寶王國土於斯明得自他不隔毫端於斯未明始終J37nB390_p0541b21不離當念祗如慶祝一句畢竟作麼生道九皋鳴鶴J37nB390_p0541b22聲聞遠雙桂齊榮日月長。」

晚參。「佛之心天高地厚祖之髓源遠流長。」良久曰:「J37nB390_p0541b24見佛祖心髓麼。」擊拂子一下。「自從春色來嵩少五葉J37nB390_p0541b25芬芳香到今。」

元旦上堂拈香祝 聖畢以拂子點空:「元旦舉筆J37nB390_p0541b27萬事俱吉一毫端上文彩全彰百億山河花攢錦簇J37nB390_p0541b28湖南北龍吟霧起淛東西虎嘯風生明良歌有道J37nB390_p0541b29起贊無為雨暘時若物阜民豐使天下強項禪流J37nB390_p0541b30人唱箇過頭大諾展胸懷拓機用朝宗萬派電卷千J37nB390_p0541c01總在今日發其端濟其美。」乃喝一喝:「但願春風J37nB390_p0541c02齊著力一時吹入我門來。」

解制玉卿蕭居士設齋請上堂。「諸方或有禁冬而放J37nB390_p0541c04或有禁夏而放冬雖然各取時宜未免榮枯有異J37nB390_p0541c05潼泉從來以乾坤為爐韝以山林作炭擊以三光為J37nB390_p0541c06火星以四時為鎚煆以佛祖為軌範以凡聖為淬礪J37nB390_p0541c07直須鎔盡規模方堪人作結時何曾雙手拽得入J37nB390_p0541c08時何嘗盡力推得出縱饒恁麼擔荷得去正是搖櫓J37nB390_p0541c09釘樁未具參學眼在設有伶俐衲僧別資一路撩起J37nB390_p0541c10便行三千里外也被潼泉拄杖子穿卻鼻孔。」卓杖J37nB390_p0541c11
