J37nB384_p0252c06鷲嶺花拈,願解傳無言之妙旨;嵩巖壁觀,髓得紹空J37nB384_p0252c07相之玄宗。豆爆寒灰,葩敷鐵榦。二株撐漢,無明果結J37nB384_p0252c08於空中;五葉昌榮,三毒花開於火裏。所以來十方之J37nB384_p0252c09羅漢、讖入廄之神駒,粒粟啗啄金雞,霜蹄蹋狐天下。J37nB384_p0252c10曹源漲而沱潛轉秀,大樹蔭而岷嶓效靈。痛鞭瞎驢,J37nB384_p0252c11滅卻正法眼藏;硬打石像,坐斷上流要津。緇出蠶叢,J37nB384_p0252c12雄冠歷代。如吾先師喜老和尚者,蜀之資陽人也,族J37nB384_p0252c13姓陳氏,系出隆昌。生緣超異,玉象蔭托於峨嵋;觸臭J37nB384_p0252c14臨屍,無常忽感於谿水。披緇向道,食牛氣已獰猙;負J37nB384_p0252c15笈參方,吹毛劍由銛利。獅吼父母皆喪,席讓尊宿咸J37nB384_p0252c16驚。鍼水投機,徹底掀翻於通玄峰頂;禪板几案,兩手J37nB384_p0252c17分付於棲真室中。鐵枷既已著肩,龍天自然推出,由J37nB384_p0252c18是波騰汝海,丕承風穴中興;虓闕中原,壁立門庭孤J37nB384_p0252c19峻。諸方嚮慕,秦川早味其風;五嶽翹欽,▆河獨沾其J37nB384_p0252c20潤。席尸興善,歲僅一週,策返故廬,岩深九隱。道場十J37nB384_p0252c21坐,荷法已有其人;能事全終,楖栗橫擔不顧。嗚呼!獅J37nB384_p0252c22絃中斷,嗣響幸獲同修;衣髮雖遺,無縫欣成窣堵。匠J37nB384_p0252c23工畢至,徵銘偶及於荒廬;樗櫟深漸,譾陋何堪以貞J37nB384_p0252c24石?不恥下問,敢竭鄙誠。涕淚援毫,蓼莪興汝源之感;J37nB384_p0252c25因人成事,風木動呂亭之悲。金粟已塔全身;興善用J37nB384_p0252c26藏衣髮。銘勒千古之龜鑑,石記一代之住持。其問節J37nB384_p0252c27略詳次,自有語錄行繇特綜其綱,茲不繁舉。
師諱行J37nB384_p0252c28喜,號曰雲峨,天童密雲師祖之孫,通玄林野師翁之J37nB384_p0252c29子,住河南汝州風穴白雲禪寺最久,閱世六十有四,J37nB384_p0252c30僧臘四十有六,示寂於新蔡金粟禪林,康熙十五年J37nB384_p0253a01丙辰四月十三日也。當順治十七年,先師主興善,即J37nB384_p0253a02今住持林我和尚,時預執都監,痛賴鉗錘,深入閫奧。J37nB384_p0253a03先師返風穴,付託方丈,命分座接衲,後以機緣相契,J37nB384_p0253a04遂嗣法於易菴法叔,故有衣髮相遺。不憶今歲春,林J37nB384_p0253a05我和尚亦歸圓寂,法嗣愚參珍公繼席,力董後事,以J37nB384_p0253a06先師遺衣建塔供養,蓋不違其師之本願也。敬為之J37nB384_p0253a07銘曰:

J37nB384_p0253a19道以無傳而傳,破顏契機於鷲嶺;法以不受而受,斷J37nB384_p0253a20臂得髓於少林。自二株競秀,心印獨付於曹谿;五派J37nB384_p0253a21分燈,宗風始播於天下。門庭施設,各擅家風,雖則飲J37nB384_p0253a22水異流,歸源不二,道樞綿密,是謂洞宗。元音高唱於J37nB384_p0253a23新豐,至韻大振於曹嶽。信夫龍吟枯骨,驚異響以難J37nB384_p0253a24聞;木馬嘶聲,更何人而道聽?郢由淮月,清光照而雪J37nB384_p0253a25曲春回;槳發鑑湖,甬浪翻而慈舟柁轉。法化莫茲為J37nB384_p0253a26盛,卓犖代有其人。若乃祖述曹洞,憲章青龍,稱宗壇J37nB384_p0253a27特起之雄者,唯靈源紫谷和尚一人而已。師廖姓,諱J37nB384_p0253a28智覺,字紫谷,蜀西之左綿人也。於明萬曆甲寅,母感J37nB384_p0253a29異而生,靈根夙具,慧本生知。齒方齠齔即喜跏趺,不J37nB384_p0253a30樂世煩,居恒靜默。年甫十七欲求出家,父母難之,遂J37nB384_p0253b01絕食誓死,度其志不可奪,因命依淨土寺族兄無真J37nB384_p0253b02剃落。志切真乘,罔知趨向,隨裝包出蜀,抵襄沔、走燕J37nB384_p0253b03都,周流講肆、考覽竺墳、探綜五教、力究微言十有四J37nB384_p0253b04載,辛巳,始納戒於愍忠。一日思惟文字之學非究竟J37nB384_p0253b05法,翻然改轍,奪發南參。首詣京口,見箬菴問和尚於J37nB384_p0253b06竹林,令參父母未生已前本來面目,彼時疑情頓發,J37nB384_p0253b07似有所入;次謁玉林琇和尚於報恩,久之不契。聞靈J37nB384_p0253b08隱具德禮和尚機鋒迅捷,接人不以常情,師先遍參J37nB384_p0253b09諸方,類待以客心,實大有不然者。及見禮,果不假辭J37nB384_p0253b10色直據本有,如崩雷疾電不可湊泊,遂決志親覲。其J37nB384_p0253b11後陞堂入室,往往批逆鱗、捋虎鬚,奪角衝關,未或當J37nB384_p0253b12仁少讓,與禮相周旋者七載,禮固奇之。
會百愚斯和J37nB384_p0253b13尚主席顯聖,闡揚洞上宗風,意欲見之,遂請假渡錢J37nB384_p0253b14塘,直造雲門。斯一見便問:「從甚處來?」師云:「北方來。」斯J37nB384_p0253b15舉竹篦云:「你北方還有這個麼?」師云:「若論這個,說甚J37nB384_p0253b16南北?」斯云:「你不識,禮拜了退。」師云:「瞞別人即得。」便出。J37nB384_p0253b17一日聞磬聲,師口占云:「圓陀陀,口朝天,頂門一擊,吼J37nB384_p0253b18震大千。」隨即赴堂齋。有桂輪上座云:「漫下口。」師即云:J37nB384_p0253b19「漫下口,莫咬著,竹箸鋒頭定殺活,臨濟德山便著忙,J37nB384_p0253b20三世諸佛盡吞卻。盡吞卻,衲子手腳元來惡。」斯喚至J37nB384_p0253b21方丈,命呈悟由,師一一舉似,斯即以洞上五位偏正J37nB384_p0253b22逐一問師,師隨問隨答,剖決無礙,融通妙協,當頭不J37nB384_p0253b23犯,斯云:「將來作得個洞上兒孫。」
戊戌五月廿一日,斯J37nB384_p0253b24出從上佛祖源流衣拂付師,既肩大法,仍詣燕之盤J37nB384_p0253b25山,將欲惜霜澗底密固靈根,其奈梅包香綻遠集蜂J37nB384_p0253b26聞,早有以西山之聖果請住持者。未及二載,冥鴻天J37nB384_p0253b27外,遠志難羈,撩起便行,飄然而去。甲辰秋,度關入秦,J37nB384_p0253b28探終南奇勝。
丁未,始遁跡觀音山三載,次至靈源,見J37nB384_p0253b29峰巒奇秀,人煙迥絕,逐棲止焉!
癸丑冬,高足中參於J37nB384_p0253b30咸揚東北隅,創慈惠禪院成。介菴劉太史響師道風,J37nB384_p0253c01合諸紳士削牘堅請,師不得已,出山應之,滑北之民J37nB384_p0253c02暨清淨四眾,手持香花歡迎百里。劉太史以是多師J37nB384_p0253c03有「弟子經年求大士,眾生今日見如來」之句概可知J37nB384_p0253c04也。及陞座說法,不翅大將,樹建鼓旗,申令發號,聞者J37nB384_p0253c05靡不畏服,門庭日闢,道望愈隆。
丁巳冬,受涇陽緇素J37nB384_p0253c06請,主觀音禪院,四遠趨風,雲奔水赴至莫可遏,弘法J37nB384_p0253c07開戒萬指圍繞,宗風大震。長安當道大中丞杭公仰J37nB384_p0253c08師高風,會薦福耆舊及當山護法,三復敦請始應之。J37nB384_p0253c09一時賢士大夫駢集座下,參扣激揚,隨機應答,如葉J37nB384_p0253c10墜秋空、兔走荒原也,士大夫亟稱服焉!住持四載,酬J37nB384_p0253c11酢日繁,以多疾故欲休老林泉,辭眾不許,師拂衣竟J37nB384_p0253c12去,返於靈源,影不出山,其行藏卷舒又非他人之所J37nB384_p0253c13及也。
師儀相清臞,長身山立,律己霜嚴,蒞眾秋肅,機J37nB384_p0253c14鋒迅捷,不類常情。為法求人,手段辛辣,如蒼鷹攫兔,J37nB384_p0253c15見即生擒,不唯門庭孤峻一振頹綱,而道眼超卓迥J37nB384_p0253c16異諸方。自出世已來,三住大剎,孜孜以弘法為己任,J37nB384_p0253c17誠狂瀾砥柱,末法之大光明精進幢也。至於謙光導J37nB384_p0253c18物,慈忍居懷,雖閭閻負販之徒、輿臺伻役之輩,莫不J37nB384_p0253c19聞見而悛心焉!由是四眾忻慕,靡所寘念,乃相與師J37nB384_p0253c20以謀不朽,於是建壽塔於某山之麓。
甲子春,余自中J37nB384_p0253c21州受長安諸護法請,來主興善,過山訊師,令法嗣補J37nB384_p0253c22菴、憨月二大師甲余至塔所囑銘其塔。素愧不文,鄙J37nB384_p0253c23言何足為師重輕?然余與師道誼交好十有數年,知J37nB384_p0253c24▆▆悉,固不得辭,因次序其實,乃為之銘曰:

J37nB384_p0254a10夫幽壑蘭芳,馨香自遠;崇山玉蘊,潤澤流輝。非蘭性J37nB384_p0254a11欲傳而玉質本潤,良由懿德內充、夙光外布者,今於J37nB384_p0254a12圓公有以見之矣!
公諱明圓,字約文,盩厔李氏子,生J37nB384_p0254a13稟異質,幼挺玄機。年甫十九,詣松岩寺禮訥菴出家。J37nB384_p0254a14既受具,遂行腳南方,參江浙諸大宗匠,於棒頭喝下J37nB384_p0254a15皆有悟入,知不思議力性自具足,稟明於心,不假外J37nB384_p0254a16也,翻然歸秦,會月巖和尚住會城之養生院,一見則J37nB384_p0254a17機緣契合,遂傳心印。志在韜晦,患為人師,乃於灞上J37nB384_p0254a18之王村靜室以終其志,遠絕塵世,澹泊自處,峻節孤J37nB384_p0254a19風,足為世重。關中之弘法闡化者,皆以座元迎之。
甲J37nB384_p0254a20子春,余自中州受長安士大夫請,來主興善法席,是J37nB384_p0254a21冬,稟具者眾,亦青佐余羯磨。時春秋鼎富,默識以為J37nB384_p0254a22後學有望。戊辰夏,忽示微疾,書辭眾剎,囑累後事,沐J37nB384_p0254a23浴更衣、書偈,跏趺而逝,適康熙廿七年六月廿九日J37nB384_p0254a24也,世壽五十五,僧臘几十夏。
公為人朴厚,端重寡言,J37nB384_p0254a25其見地穩密,機辨自在。高尚足以起末俗,法眼足以J37nB384_p0254a26振頹綱。雖影不出山而聲光遠及,豈非幽壑蘭芳而J37nB384_p0254a27崇山玉潤者耶?觀其臨終安詳自若,履踐可知。況月J37nB384_p0254a28岩和尚在法門與余為從兄弟,圓公乃從姪也,平日J37nB384_p0254a29視余猶諸父,今不幸,不得視之猶子也?其徒實力建J37nB384_p0254a30方墳來丐余銘,余雖不能銘,以法乳淵源有親親之J37nB384_p0254b01義,不揣固陋,以序其實行。其銘曰:

J37nB384_p0254b12夫長天雲淡,月華始新,秋深木脫,山形骨露。死生變J37nB384_p0254b13幻如野馬之翻空,自二氣判形已來,群有顛瞑於長J37nB384_p0254b14夜,幾能眼活而一覷破,得來去自由者其誰也?非夙J37nB384_p0254b15薰般若定力資深而超越乎世量者亦未易得,吾今J37nB384_p0254b16於省然比丘有所感焉!比丘諱性鐸,字省然,金臺之J37nB384_p0254b17武清張氏子,生於明萬曆壬子。賦性質朴,風神秀爽,J37nB384_p0254b18幼喜趺坐,長厭世塵。於順治庚寅,禮香河恆庵耆宿J37nB384_p0254b19披剃,由是墮三寶數。壬辰,圓具於廣濟玉光律主,初J37nB384_p0254b20遊講肆,傍通經論。一日閱《六祖壇經》,知有宗門向上J37nB384_p0254b21事,遂買艸鞋行腳,遊五臺、趨少室,過關入泰,將詣峨J37nB384_p0254b22嵋,以夙緣故憩於涇水之南。壬子春,余杖策關中,開J37nB384_p0254b23法興福,鐸領監院事,不憚勤劬竭盡心力,不啻楊岐J37nB384_p0254b24之輔慈明也。及弘開爐鞴、痛喫鉗錘,於棒頭喝下往J37nB384_p0254b25往有穎脫處。庚申秋,余有金粟之命別去四載。甲子J37nB384_p0254b26復徇西安當道護法之請來主興善,鐸眉壽益高,皤J37nB384_p0254b27然矍鑠,于丙寅春,遷近池陽之寶鼎寺,不及月,以微J37nB384_p0254b28疾奄然化去,世壽七十四,僧臘三十五。夏,徒子法雲J37nB384_p0254b29為築方墳,瘞于寶鼎之南,請余為銘,乃序其由而繫J37nB384_p0254b30之以銘曰:

J37nB384_p0254c07聖凡雖異,利生之跡無殊;大道玄同,應化之徵靡一。J37nB384_p0254c08所以在昔聖賢以傳心為學,誠明合體而教化興,是J37nB384_p0254c09故吾佛世尊以教外別傳不立一法而斯道著。其間J37nB384_p0254c10賢豪英特之士、絕類離倫之徒,往往勘破世緣、脫離J37nB384_p0254c11塵愛,一超直入,固能透脫情關,掉背生死,得大自在,J37nB384_p0254c12逆行順化人莫之測,誠不可以心思言議者也,吾於J37nB384_p0254c13比丘有所取焉!比丘諱如清,翠林其字也,慶陽王氏J37nB384_p0254c14子。幼不茹葷,樂行善事,無意塵俗。於順治癸巳夏,禮J37nB384_p0254c15玄庵耆德出家,授以念佛公案,久無趨向,遂奮志南J37nB384_p0254c16參。由涇涉渭至終南,偕弟如洪,號無盡,亦慶陽人,同J37nB384_p0254c17受具於南禪律主,時戊戌歲也。乃擔簦吳越,於諸大J37nB384_p0254c18名宿無不遍參,隨處皆有省發。後遊楚黃之雙臺,椎J37nB384_p0254c19拂之下煩羊頓息、害馬都捐,由是拳拳服膺,克苦精J37nB384_p0254c20勤,身役眾務,雙臺和尚乃贈之以〈偈〉曰:「自古擔泉帶J37nB384_p0254c21月歸,善護都許者闍黎,深深藏在眉端上,異▆光前J37nB384_p0254c22耀後機。」次年春,辭歸關中,晦跡於涇陽之北太李村J37nB384_p0254c23白衣庵,非佛言不言、非佛行不行,緇素推重為一方J37nB384_p0254c24導師。重建崇福古剎寺,功未竣而忽染微疾,於是年J37nB384_p0254c25甲子六月初五日告辭檀越,囑付後事畢,奄然而逝。J37nB384_p0254c26緇素為之築方墳,瘞於崇福之西南隅,世壽七十,僧J37nB384_p0254c27臘二十七夏。先是弟無盡者,於己未年七月二十八J37nB384_p0254c28日示寂化去,清留而不葬,以待異日同穴,至是果符J37nB384_p0254c29其願也。度僧徒若干人、近事男女若干人。其徒性悟J37nB384_p0254c30其行由,來請余以銘其碣,以余知清,兄弟故也,乃為J37nB384_p0255a01之銘曰:

J37nB384_p0255a09比丘慧元,蜀之德陽張氏子也,幼喜遊俠,好浮圖。順J37nB384_p0255a10治甲申至秦,於涇陽之松隱庵禮超凡耆德出家,丙J37nB384_p0255a11申圓具,遂行腳東南。丁未夏,余從少林過風穴,參先J37nB384_p0255a12師雲老人,時元已在座下,見其氣宇軒昂,迥異他眾,J37nB384_p0255a13於參請之際機不多讓,後遍參吳越,於棒頭喝下似J37nB384_p0255a14有所獲。庚戌歸秦,至邠州皇澗寺為檀越皈依,遂開J37nB384_p0255a15十方院接待雲水僧眾,以事繁故,囑弟印元總理院J37nB384_p0255a16事,飄然長往。余時初領廣教住持,適元至,即佐理客J37nB384_p0255a17司,會余赴中原新蔡之請,乃詣涇陽。樓南村有寶鼎J37nB384_p0255a18寺,傾頹日久,目擊心傷,遂奮然僝修。不一載,廚庫僧J37nB384_p0255a19房、樓閣凌霄如天成地涌,可謂以菩薩心而勤作佛J37nB384_p0255a20事者。賴隻身獨任,經營過勞,遂染微疾,一日喚小師J37nB384_p0255a21囑以後事,索筆書偈而逝。元生於崇禎辛未,示寂於J37nB384_p0255a22康熙乙丑七月二十六日,世壽五十五,僧臘三十夏。J37nB384_p0255a23小師性義為建方墳,欲刊石于上,遠來丐銘於余。乃J37nB384_p0255a24為之銘曰:

J37nB384_p0255a29公諱海藏,字徹宗,江南廬州合淝孔氏子。幼負豪俠,J37nB384_p0255a30仗劍遊秦,擬欲從事軍門,以數奇弗果其志。一日入J37nB384_p0255b01晉濟庵,聞誦《金剛經》得解其義,忽勤諸行無常之感,J37nB384_p0255b02遂釋佩劍、出囊金,設齋禮心曉和尚出家,時順治壬J37nB384_p0255b03辰歲也。初授以念佛公案,終日口誦不輟,常住以接J37nB384_p0255b04待為務料理院事,公便能以苦行自任,朝夕不懈,寒J37nB384_p0255b05暑忘疲。甲辰圓具於興善易菴和尚,精勤戒律,有馬J37nB384_p0255b06勝威儀之風規,志切向上,以師老不敢遠離,服勞侍J37nB384_p0255b07奉,後以心曉和尚圓寂,囑公繼席方丈,接待十方,常J37nB384_p0255b08以為眾為心,雲遊禪衲得休歇焉!如公者,可謂繼志J37nB384_p0255b09述事之能者也。於康熙二十六年丁卯七月偶染微J37nB384_p0255b10痾,遂喚小師并執事人囑以後事奄然而化,世壽六J37nB384_p0255b11十歲,僧臘二十四夏。徒眾欲建塔於普濟庵內,丐銘J37nB384_p0255b12於余,因不辭固陋,乃贅之以銘曰:

J37nB384_p0255b22夫日月麗天,生盲俱獲其益;春回大地,寒谷均遂其J37nB384_p0255b23生。故吾佛世尊法身普遍,彌綸萬有、該括十虛,凡曰J37nB384_p0255b24有情,無不俱足者也。雖邊地蔑戾,苟因緣會遇,無不J37nB384_p0255b25使人人入佛知見,轉煩惱為樂土、醒愚頑而為智慧J37nB384_p0255b26者,是在開化之功何如耳!余於本公今有見焉!公諱J37nB384_p0255b27明悟,號本源,秦西之寧遠人,姓王氏。生於昭代天啟J37nB384_p0255b28七年丁卯。甫二十五,離塵圓具,便行腳南方,參諸大J37nB384_p0255b29宗匠之門,於道有契,杖笠歸秦,遂受記莂於圓通旵J37nB384_p0255b30巖和尚。志惜秋霜,卓錫於醴泉之仁義里,數椽苫頭J37nB384_p0255c01僅蔽風雨,靜默自居,行不越閫者二十餘年,鄉人向J37nB384_p0255c02化,禮敬皈依。公無出世念,每慚末運佛法濫觴,故深J37nB384_p0255c03潛韜晦以高其志,非友不友、非道不親,亦法門之應J37nB384_p0255c04瑞而獨善其身者。於康熙二十八年某日某月患疾,J37nB384_p0255c05命小師及眾檀那囑以後事,奄然化去。公體貌豐滿,J37nB384_p0255c06道行超卓,律身儉而甚嚴;處人恭而有禮,所以為人J37nB384_p0255c07天之皈敬。世壽六十三,僧臘三十一。眾謀建塔於九J37nB384_p0255c08嵕山麓之觀音寺南址,小師某遠來丐銘,乃為之銘J37nB384_p0255c09曰:

J37nB384_p0255c16明崇禎十七年,歲在甲申,值流冠犯關,神京失守,J37nB384_p0255c17龍御上賓,四海鼎準,率土蜂飛。是年八月,巨寇▆J37nB384_p0255c18現忠據蜀,僭號頃復,屠戮生民。血丹原野,全川絕J37nB384_p0255c19艸色之青;骼胔相枕,灌莽滿骷骸之白。真宇宙未J37nB384_p0255c20有之奇凶,今古從前之異變也,豈止血流漂杵也J37nB384_p0255c21哉?毒暴慘酷不可甚言。予幸脫於鋒鏑,萬死一生J37nB384_p0255c22之中竊毋逃難於秦,聞高衲輩言:「皆往昔定業。」予J37nB384_p0255c23始悟劫運乃夙因所造之惡果循環耳!壽命有盡,J37nB384_p0255c24微生幾何?以有限之身而造無窮之業,況諸行無J37nB384_p0255c25常,夢幻空花豈有實耶?遂決出塵之志,乃和陶淵J37nB384_p0255c26明韻,作歸去來辭詠以見志云。

J37nB384_p0256c22維皇清康熙十九年歲在庚申月日,比丘某謹以香J37nB384_p0256c23羞茗果之奠,致祭於金粟故山主大中丞澺翁宋老J37nB384_p0256c24先生老檀越之靈柩前,而告之以文曰:「嗚呼!先生之J37nB384_p0256c25逝已三週矣!逝已三週,余竟無一音弔問,謂方外人J37nB384_p0256c26不區區世禮何?雙林趺示而飲光未嘗不為之流涕J37nB384_p0256c27也,豈世同炎涼,於忘情大都有可議者,殆不若是其J37nB384_p0256c28甚乎?余故有所告焉!以處地懸絕而烽煙為之阻也。J37nB384_p0256c29今聖天子削平禍亂,四海寧一,理策東來,宰先生之J37nB384_p0256c30柩仍在於堂,方慕秦失之號,不能為先生慟,然而有J37nB384_p0257a01可慟者,非伯陽之始,謂為人也蓋重其知己也。昔鍾J37nB384_p0257a02期沒而伯牙之絃絕,憾無知音也;子皮亡而鄭僑之J37nB384_p0257a03哭哀,痛無知己也。先生與余為知己,余不為先生慟J37nB384_p0257a04而誰為之慟哉?憶余丁未秋侍先師於金粟,始晤先J37nB384_p0257a05生年已七旬,白眉丹輔,丰度灑然,飄飄乎望之若神J37nB384_p0257a06仙,遂得從先生之後。先生其再來人也,一日與余偶J37nB384_p0257a07語,甚相契合,顧謂先師曰:『憨師可荷大法。』次日,貽之J37nB384_p0257a08以〈詩〉云:『若問無生參大道,毘盧元不墮凡夫。』余中心J37nB384_p0257a09不勝感激,遂訂方外忘年之契,其後或文詞詩章,皆J37nB384_p0257a10屬賡和無虛日。欲以家藏二酉就余探索,謀於先師J37nB384_p0257a11者數次,而先師不許,然情愛獨至謀亦厚矣!余亦知J37nB384_p0257a12先生之愛,但彼時夙障理垣,根石壓艸,於生死關頭J37nB384_p0257a13葛藤易絆,亦不復涉獵世間雜學文字,先生之鍼砭J37nB384_p0257a14會俞益我良多,不能不感而為先生之慟也。辛亥春,J37nB384_p0257a15先師歸風穴,又以余謀於先師,欲留止金粟而先師J37nB384_p0257a16又不許,臨岐分袂遂別以〈詩〉云:『皈依戀戀難為別,折J37nB384_p0257a17柳頻揮兩淚盈。』而凄婉惓戀之情豈但黯然銷魂而J37nB384_p0257a18已哉?嗚呼!先生之手澤尚存,墨蹟未乾,音猶在耳,言J37nB384_p0257a19豈忘心?余何人斯,而感遇先生之知愛如此也?壬子,J37nB384_p0257a20太簇先師年齊耳順,先生遠伻為先師壽。先師陞堂,J37nB384_p0257a21即以從上佛祖沿流并衣拂付余,果如先生之言。然J37nB384_p0257a22知人之難聖哲所病,蓋非素與交遊,具水鏡之智,而J37nB384_p0257a23蓬心俗眼豈能識艸茅中有異人哉?要知因該果海、J37nB384_p0257a24果徹因緣,余之知遇於先生也非偶然也。余開法關J37nB384_p0257a25內先生悉知,孰憶南北相警烽煙日作,數載已來音J37nB384_p0257a26問不過。丁巳夏,偶接風穴來書,始知先師圓寂已及J37nB384_p0257a27莽年,賴先生安塋窣堵,全身金粟,余即焚香望東嶦J37nB384_p0257a28禮,雖肝腦塗地亦不能報先生之德於萬一也。嗚呼!J37nB384_p0257a29先生寧不令人感而為之慟哉?今歲六月初七日,復J37nB384_p0257a30接令孫子勉公書云:『先生已乘箕天上,涵兄亦隻履J37nB384_p0257b01西歸。』不覺如夢如癡,真耶?幻耶?先生其真逝也耶?先J37nB384_p0257b02生必不可逝也。若先生逝,而吾宗城塹孰為之護持?J37nB384_p0257b03金粟道場孰為之興緝?不啻五內崩裂而柔腸寸寸J37nB384_p0257b04斷也,故先生之不可逝也而竟逝矣!嗚呼!先生復垂J37nB384_p0257b05遺訓,令乃孫專使召余,以繼金粟之席。所以徐孺之J37nB384_p0257b06漬不憚千里,范式之約期及三年。跋涉遠奔,未敢拒J37nB384_p0257b07辭者,恐有負先生知遇之明鑑也。若先生之世業文J37nB384_p0257b08章,自有當代名儒載之竹帛、垂之青史,流芳百世,余J37nB384_p0257b09復何得而言?至於肇建招提,弘揚祖道,繼往開來,啟J37nB384_p0257b10迪龍象,傳禪燈於萬祀、留芳躅於千秋,雖西乾之須J37nB384_p0257b11達、東震之右丞又何讓焉?先生其再來人也,視富貴J37nB384_p0257b12如浮雲、一死生為夢幻,年已及耄,期頤將近,安時處J37nB384_p0257b13順,正有道人之事也。況從先師於方外,信道崇篤,修J37nB384_p0257b14證肯綮,於佛祖之道不但升堂入室,而向上關鍵了J37nB384_p0257b15無餘蘊矣!故臨終談笑輕安坦然而化,豈非幻滅都J37nB384_p0257b16盡,慧光渾圓,馞發而酥熟成就者耶?雖先生之令子J37nB384_p0257b17早逝,而若孫者天姿超邁,壯志猶龍,不日將顯仕於J37nB384_p0257b18宦途,克振家聲。所幸者,麟祥已兆,將見綿綿瓜瓞,本J37nB384_p0257b19支百世,先生之靈或可相安於地下也。其禪林之隆J37nB384_p0257b20替固不可必,余既充住持,自當夙夜黽勉,頹者修之、J37nB384_p0257b21圮者葺之,亦不敢違先生之知遇而負令孫子勉之J37nB384_p0257b22所托也。余幸獲知遇,忝在住持,聊陳薄奠,以表愚衷。J37nB384_p0257b23嗚呼慟哉!哲人往矣!知我其誰?寧不為先生慟而誰J37nB384_p0257b24為?靈其鑒之,伏惟尚饗。」
牒

J37nB384_p0257b27蓋聞千佛授受,憑戒律以為基;諸祖相承,指金襴而J37nB384_p0257b28表信。故吾釋迦世尊既成道矣,坐菩提樹下,初結波J37nB384_p0257b29羅提木叉,為權教之始,知涅槃時至,特付將來以戒J37nB384_p0257b30為師,為最後之囑。是以五部毘尼繁興於西土、三壇J37nB384_p0257c01淨聚紹隆於南山,使圓心得體,識相防非,三乘共躋J37nB384_p0257c02於覺場,五分同歸於性海。雷音既震,幽蟄皆萌,應知J37nB384_p0257c03戒為萬行之本源、一心之要徑也。所以建壇肇興於J37nB384_p0257c04唐宋、修奉善繼於元明,歷代相沿,戒華斯茂。迨我大J37nB384_p0257c05清世祖章皇帝,金輪御極,溥德同天,創皇壇於順治J37nB384_p0257c06十七年間,施戒法於京師大慈壽寺,特頒敕諭云:「朕J37nB384_p0257c07惟佛祖之道,明心見性、止惡防非,開正覺之門;趣菩J37nB384_p0257c08提之路,教至重也。然定慧等學以戒為先,經論三藏J37nB384_p0257c09非律莫備。比見祖庭秋晚,律學荒蕪,非大揄揚無因J37nB384_p0257c10勸勵,是以特設皇壇弘傳戒法。」由是欽此欽遵,推廣J37nB384_p0257c11皇仁。茲惟其省某府、某州縣、某寺建壇說戒,內有戒J37nB384_p0257c12子係某省某府某縣人、禮某為師,剃度出家,法名某。J37nB384_p0257c13今就本壇,於某月某日受沙彌十戒,於某日受比丘J37nB384_p0257c14二百五十戒,於某日圓受菩薩十重四十八輕三聚J37nB384_p0257c15淨戒。戒成就已,合行給牒,隨身收貯,遊方參學。如遇J37nB384_p0257c16關隘盤詰,執此為憑。凡所在在處處,廣行軌範,接物J37nB384_p0257c17利生。理事雙明,止作無犯乎輕重;初心不昧,受持必J37nB384_p0257c18慎乎始終。由此了相知宗,樹人天之標幟;識心達本,J37nB384_p0257c19出生死之重溟。以此功德,仰祝皇圖有慶、帝祉無疆,J37nB384_p0257c20萬方戴雍穆之休、四海樂無為之化,四恩總報、三有J37nB384_p0257c21齊資。伏惟三寶證盟,諸天衛護,須至牒者。

J37nB384_p0257c24凡物之生也,或有時而用焉!其遇之也誠難,縱遇之J37nB384_p0257c25而識其材之有用者更難,故荊山之璞見刖於楚王,J37nB384_p0257c26鹽阪之駒長鳴於伯樂。以是觀之,而物之遇之也豈J37nB384_p0257c27偶然哉?而遇之而用之者又豈徒然哉?辛亥春,有樵J37nB384_p0257c28山者,於風穴深谷中得枯木焉!其形不高,度可盈尺,J37nB384_p0257c29上大下小,而闊止五六寸許。竅穴穿遍,枯朽槎材,嶙J37nB384_p0257c30峋剔透,若曾經刻盡者。樵者奇之,攜以歸,人爭奔視,J37nB384_p0258a01然猶等閒視之,未嘗有所位置。少焉,白雲老人從外J37nB384_p0258a02來,諦視者久之,曰:「此木也,胡為乎來哉,若此其棄擲J37nB384_p0258a03也?」乃左手執杖、右手攜木,坐就清流,洗滌其塵垢、挑J37nB384_p0258a04刮其敗腐,揩磨拂拭,而峰巒隱起,若有無數煙雲勃J37nB384_p0258a05然欲出焉!且山首青螺下垂,容𥥌巇嶮,脊凸而胸凹,J37nB384_p0258a06廓如其有容,真天巧哉!於是位置於石室之東軒,佐J37nB384_p0258a07之以圖面、列之以函經,煥然生色,而游觀者莫不愕J37nB384_p0258a08然起敬,何必入萬峰深處而宛然對楞伽小白花也?J37nB384_p0258a09噫嘻!物之微也,遇識者而用焉!雖枯根朽質,遂得與J37nB384_p0258a10圖書比貴;若猶未也,則混跡於樗櫟擁腫問,其不為J37nB384_p0258a11燢下薪者幾希,又安見有奇峰傑立而表表不沒於J37nB384_p0258a12人如是乎?雖然,天之生物誠不偶也,而遇不遇有數J37nB384_p0258a13存焉!如璧見而連城、驥馳而追風,則物之發其用也J37nB384_p0258a14時也,非苟然者也,故君子不可以不知時。
叢竹說
J37nB384_p0258a16居室之側,有叢竹焉!不知其檀為誰也?依墻附壁、背J37nB384_p0258a17日就陰,若隱伏於窮岩幽壑之間,人少有見而悅之J37nB384_p0258a18者,雖埃氛錯雜而孤根挺秀,生意亦蔚如也。幹直自J37nB384_p0258a19疏不以處卑而屈其節,葉密斯茂不以蕪穢而亂其J37nB384_p0258a20清。雖隆冬霜雪之嚴寒,而不能易其操;雖非時風雨J37nB384_p0258a21之擊磔,而不能挫其莖。亭亭物表、矗矗干雲。勁節孤J37nB384_p0258a22貞,推蕭穎之君子;臨軒生動,來李白之故人。鬱鬱然,J37nB384_p0258a23遠可觀而近猶可親也。余日彷徨其下,或滴露研朱、J37nB384_p0258a24或掃葉烹茗,瞻凌空而鳳舞;聽漱雨以龍吟,碎篩金J37nB384_p0258a25於月夜;清戛玉於風聲。梢拖煙而拂翠,籜驚飆而出J37nB384_p0258a26林,音傳嶰谷、韻協柯亭。於是擬葛陂之仙杖,垂東海J37nB384_p0258a27之釣綸,耿介拔俗,瀟灑出塵。雖托根而非地、長抱節J37nB384_p0258a28以虛心,一種超然自得之趣,其得於心而會於神,雖J37nB384_p0258a29有智者亦不能以言而得致其極者也。信乎王子猷J37nB384_p0258a30之言曰:「何可一日無此君?」
古雲字說
J37nB384_p0258b02雲也者,山川之蒸氣亦常有也。何以言古?意示其初J37nB384_p0258b03也。示其初,非若今之汎常慕跡者明矣!《公羊傳》曰:「不J37nB384_p0258b04崇朝而雨遍天下,此泰山之雲也。」蓋謂山高積厚而J37nB384_p0258b05澤之及物者遠,若吾佛世尊從久遠劫來為一大事J37nB384_p0258b06因緣出現於世,如大雲起遍覆三千大千世界,慈悲J37nB384_p0258b07濟物普雨法雨,使盡大地若艸若木、上中下根悉皆J37nB384_p0258b08蒙潤各得增長,古雲之義或取此乎?然是雲也,非青J37nB384_p0258b09非白、非赤非黃,往復無際、隱顯難名,忽舒忽卷、或合J37nB384_p0258b10或開,逼塞乎乾坤之內,開張夫日月之前,不可以智J37nB384_p0258b11知,不可以識識,十聖三賢瞻仰不及,眾生魘外覷捕J37nB384_p0258b12無從,惟洞徹法源者頗測其端倪。若夫莽莽蕩蕩之J37nB384_p0258b13徒,雖終日與之挑撥,而情封識固、性天障翳,安能達J37nB384_p0258b14其底蘊而窺其彷彿也哉?古雲禪子,牧雨和尚之薙J37nB384_p0258b15落弟子也,自中州來從予者數載矣!故為是說以勉J37nB384_p0258b16之。蓋直示其操存涵養之功,以造詣乎古雲之實,而J37nB384_p0258b17毋虛蹈此名稱也夫。
斷崖字說
J37nB384_p0258b19直截斬齊之謂斷,壁立萬仞之謂崖,凌空萬丈、拔地J37nB384_p0258b20千尋,超出乎雲漢之表,卓立乎宇宙之中。群峰競峙J37nB384_p0258b21而莫與之齊,眾嶽峭削而難同其勢。鳥飛不度、人跡J37nB384_p0258b22罕到,此崖之孤峻嶮巇而莫可幾及者也。夫道亦然,J37nB384_p0258b23鼻祖云:「外息諸緣,內心無喘,心如墻壁,可以入道。」吾J37nB384_p0258b24人於三條椽下、七尺單前,斬絕萬緣、屏息念慮,專注J37nB384_p0258b25禪觀,孤迥迥、峭巍巍,如鐵壁銀山相似,喧囂不能撓J37nB384_p0258b26其志、溫飽總不干其懷,萬年一念,槁木寒灰,直得偷J37nB384_p0258b27心死盡、智竭情枯,驀向懸崖翻身撒手,不動毫芒一J37nB384_p0258b28直到底,所以命根頓斷,絕後再甦,欺君不得,此之謂J37nB384_p0258b29險處放手而親到斷崖之底蘊也。從上佛祖到恁麼J37nB384_p0258b30田地,然後出世利生,門庭孤峻莫可躋攀。故我釋迦J37nB384_p0258c01文佛拈花於靈山會上,人天百億,罔措其旨;達磨大J37nB384_p0258c02師面壁於少室巖中,英俊頗多,罕契其機。臨濟入門J37nB384_p0258c03便喝,雷崩霆震;德山入門便棒,電激風馳。學者近傍J37nB384_p0258c04由難,往往望崖而退,設有一人不顧危亡,見義勇為J37nB384_p0258c05直下承當,便能夷其險、洞其微,掀翻聖凡窠臼,摟碎J37nB384_p0258c06生死根株,坐斷高高峰頂那一著子,呵佛罵祖、打雨J37nB384_p0258c07敲風,從教開悟天下人、從教疑殺天下人。昔有祖師J37nB384_p0258c08亦號斷崖,參高峰妙悟道,〈偈〉曰:「大地山河一片雪,太J37nB384_p0258c09陽一照永無蹤,自此不疑諸佛祖,更無南北與西東。」J37nB384_p0258c10出世住浙右,龍象雲臻,與中峰本祖為伯仲。廣漢誠J37nB384_p0258c11侍者,號斷崖,從予最久,初未有說,斂足之暇以義質J37nB384_p0258c12予,故為之說義如此。仍以祖師之號誘掖勸勉,欲其J37nB384_p0258c13羨慕而思齊之也,子當書紳永佩而毋忽。
致中字說
J37nB384_p0258c15喜怒衷樂之未發,謂之中。中也者,天下之大本也。誠J37nB384_p0258c16能椎致其中,是天下之大本立矣!大本既立,則不偏J37nB384_p0258c17不倚,而無太過不及之弊也。蓋自古聖神,繼天立極、J37nB384_p0258c18開物成務,莫不本此大中至正之道,聖聖相傳,而曰J37nB384_p0258c19「惟精惟一,允執厥中。」故緣督以為經。湯執中而立賢J37nB384_p0258c20無方,舜用中垂裳而天下治,孔時中而無可不可,總J37nB384_p0258c21之,是有所取法而能善致其中者也。矧吾佛祖中道J37nB384_p0258c22第一義諦「是法平等,無有高下。」擬思則隔、動念即乖,J37nB384_p0258c23觸之則敧、背之則傾。觸之不得、背之不得、不觸不背J37nB384_p0258c24總不得。所以神光立雪斷臂、雪峰九上三登,無非求J37nB384_p0258c25致其中者也。隱山龍之一道神光萬古閒,懶殘之臥J37nB384_p0258c26藤蘿下塊石枕頭,無非固守其中者也。百丈一喝三J37nB384_p0258c27日耳聾,臨濟三頓棒如蒿枝拂,雲門之折足,德山之J37nB384_p0258c28焚鈔,無非悟致其中者也。至於天下善知識,拈椎豎J37nB384_p0258c29拂、瞬目揚眉、雷崩電掣、嗔呵怒罵,無非指示欲人人J37nB384_p0258c30皆致其中者也。邇來祖庭秋晚,中道凌遲,知者務高J37nB384_p0259a01而狂妄太過,愚者固執而懵憊不及。此無他,是不究J37nB384_p0259a02其大本,又為朱紫混淆、鄭雅相亂,而不能致其中者J37nB384_p0259a03耳!子來間字於我,即字之曰致中,故為是說,子當熟J37nB384_p0259a04究而深思之。
省然字說
J37nB384_p0259a06火傘張空,蒸汗如雨,大啟戶牖,揮扇欲裂。倏爾薰風J37nB384_p0259a07南來,涼生殿閣,少焉夕陽西流,紫綠交胘。偕二三子J37nB384_p0259a08解▆樹下、露頂林間,或拈提向上、或論古談詩。有衲J37nB384_p0259a09子問字於余,即字之為說其義,衲子捧硯牽紙,請援J37nB384_p0259a10毫以授之,余即揮灑以如其請。▆然監寺恰襲其風,J37nB384_p0259a11亦以字微余說。余思夫省者,密察觀照之義,觸境逢J37nB384_p0259a12緣有所契證,乃入道之要門也。如黃面老子捨皇宮J37nB384_p0259a13入雪山,六年苦行,忽睹明星而喟然歎曰:「奇哉!一切J37nB384_p0259a14眾生皆有如來智慧德相,皆因妄想執著而不能證J37nB384_p0259a15得。」此豈非有所省而契證者乎?長慶坐破七箇蒲團,J37nB384_p0259a16一日捲簾說偈曰:「也大差!也大差!捲起簾來見天下。」J37nB384_p0259a17此豈非有所省而契證者乎?靈雲三十年尋劍客,忽J37nB384_p0259a18見桃花了然無疑,此豈非有所省而契證者乎?楊岐J37nB384_p0259a19在慈明監寺二十年,一日偵明於路,不覺禮拜夾背J37nB384_p0259a20汗流,此豈非有所省而契證者乎?吾人決志既定,信J37nB384_p0259a21根已深,於行住坐臥時時觀照、默默提撕,用力之久,J37nB384_p0259a22猛然於聞聲見色處、觸境逢緣時啐地折、嚗地斷,始J37nB384_p0259a23知佛祖不傳之妙,當人元具匪從他得,或奪或與自J37nB384_p0259a24在自由,如此方謂之省然者也。省然監寺年已老矣!J37nB384_p0259a25幸獲從余親炙爐鞴,痛耐鉗錘,直須奮然擊碎透頂J37nB384_p0259a26透底,與從上諸佛諸祖把手共行,始不孤此省然之J37nB384_p0259a27義也。古語云:「舜何人也?子何人也?有為者亦若是!」省J37nB384_p0259a28然其勗諸!
竺雲字說
J37nB384_p0259a30雲之所以為雲也,未嘗不一爾!或有隨其義而取之J37nB384_p0259b01者,義必有在也。上人號竹雲,義亦勝矣!然雲之於竹,J37nB384_p0259b02雖怡情丘壑幽閒自適,此獨善其身者之所為,唯供J37nB384_p0259b03其嘯詠而已,未若騰空致雨潤澤八荒,如吾釋迦世J37nB384_p0259b04尊誕自竺乾,開方便門示真實相,隨機設教,利物興J37nB384_p0259b05慈,如大雲起於世間,一切眾生咸蒙覆蔭普獲清涼。J37nB384_p0259b06吾衲僧家佛祖之標幟也,宜先立乎其大者,余為易J37nB384_p0259b07竹為竺,義取諸此也。不獨吾教如然,《易》有之曰:「雲行J37nB384_p0259b08雨施,品物流形。」又曰:「雲從龍。」禪人依善知識住者最J37nB384_p0259b09久,當觀佛行,二六時中肯痛自鞭策剋期取證,如長J37nB384_p0259b10鯨吸海涓滴無存,珊瑚之枝不期然森森露出,時然J37nB384_p0259b11後起,應無緣慈。如竺乾大聖遍布密雲,彌漫天地、籠J37nB384_p0259b12罩古今,變化難窮、循復無際。卷舒自在,凡聖莫能測J37nB384_p0259b13其端;應物無心,理事莫能羈其跡。有時橫身絕巘、有J37nB384_p0259b14時為霖九垓,作群生之依怙、開人天之正眼,始不負J37nB384_p0259b15參詢之志,而數十年之艸鞋錢亦有償也。禪人以紙J37nB384_p0259b16丐余說,余為說竺雲之義如此蓋有深旨焉!更為歌J37nB384_p0259b17曰:「西竺迢迢兮遠且長,密雲彌布兮澤秛遐。方憫閻J37nB384_p0259b18浮兮濟時康,冀禪人其踵跡兮!直遊偃夫無見之頂J37nB384_p0259b19與瞿曇而頡頏。」

J37nB384_p0259b21莊生謂滑疑之耀,聖人之所圖也,故君子之德比美J37nB384_p0259b22玉焉!照玉禪人舊字蘊質,厭多雷同,請余更之,余嘉J37nB384_p0259b23其為人敦厚純篤,字之曰隱石。夫天地之間品類繁J37nB384_p0259b24多,莫不各以其材器而顯用於世。石惡乎以隱?為義J37nB384_p0259b25有所取也。雉罹於羅者,以其文也;龜刳其腹者,以其J37nB384_p0259b26甲也;兔控於罝者,以其穎也;士困其身者,以其辨也。J37nB384_p0259b27皆不善其隱者也,庸詎知光外而終隳?吾觀善隱者J37nB384_p0259b28莫如石,右物之最鈍者也。唯鈍則靜而藏其用,故根J37nB384_p0259b29深寧極,韜光於山林丘壑之間,盛衰榮辱之所不干、J37nB384_p0259b30是非毀譽之所不及,得永葆其真,若世之逸隱者也。J37nB384_p0259c01間或有見於世者,若黃梅墜腰而傳衣、吳淞浮來以J37nB384_p0259c02化世,無為呼丈而米拜、穀城名公以授書,此皆感遇J37nB384_p0259c03一時、神運千古,其出其處有道存焉!豈與今之雕文J37nB384_p0259c04誑世、弔詭衒奇者同日而語哉?雖然猶有說焉!子之J37nB384_p0259c05來從吾學道也,須辨堅石心立決定志,一念萬年去、J37nB384_p0259c06寒灰枯木去、古廟香爐去、一條白練去,日就月將念J37nB384_p0259c07茲在茲,直待涵養純粹造詣功深,安知不化為牟尼J37nB384_p0259c08大寶?與舉世奔競窮子濟其因乏,貿易所須皆獲如J37nB384_p0259c09意,不亦善乎?是說也深有旨哉!子其勉之,吾斫額日J37nB384_p0259c10以望之。
元晦字說
J37nB384_p0259c12海稱百谷王,為百川所歸者,以其能下也,有易之謙J37nB384_p0259c13道焉!以其能下故能成其深廣,淵晦靜默、虛涵寂照J37nB384_p0259c14而莫可測量矣!雖森羅萬象影現其中,非有所受之J37nB384_p0259c15也,以無所受故淨極光生,虛明自照,本體如如。《首楞J37nB384_p0259c16嚴經》曰:「淨極光通達,寂照含虛空。」皆淨極故亮應一J37nB384_p0259c17切也。書記海亮,本字寅旭,取旭日始旦之意。吾以謂J37nB384_p0259c18旭皆不若晦,因易為元晦,故作字說云。
嵩樵字說
J37nB384_p0259c20嵩少之山,自達磨面壁後而樵採者甚眾也。慨夫滿J37nB384_p0259c21山皆刀斧痕,是樂乎煙霞而未嘗得其樵中之旨,乃J37nB384_p0259c22世俗之庸樵耳!設有一人以無功用行,神機默運妙J37nB384_p0259c23契真如,心境俱寂,水鳥山花天真畢露,而樵中之旨J37nB384_p0259c24斯為得矣!禪子寂行,求余字之,是欲速成者也。字之J37nB384_p0259c25嵩樵,意在於益,莫負山花映水紅而後可。

J37nB384_p0259c28予幼讀《唐詩類苑》,見有辨才、蕭翼倡和詩,首序云:「唐J37nB384_p0259c29太宗酷好二王書,聞《蘭亭記》真蹟在吳興永欣寺僧J37nB384_p0259c30辨才所,百計求之不獲,房玄齡薦御史蕭翼多權謀,J37nB384_p0260a01命翼微服南遊,果以術取其書以歸,太宗大悅,擢為J37nB384_p0260a02員外郎,賜以金縷瓶、瑪瑙碗等物,秘之大內。臨終數J37nB384_p0260a03目之,謂太子曰:『當借此以殉。』」嗚呼!文字之在天地間J37nB384_p0260a04誠為至寶,蓋亦多矣!唯羲之書,太宗重之如此,雖沒J37nB384_p0260a05猶不能捨,亦見帝王崇文善雅之篤。文字為天地間J37nB384_p0260a06之真寶,信不誣矣!予昔遍參吳越時見多傳本,不無J37nB384_p0260a07摹搨失神、字畫粗腫,竟未見有真蹟,後於鯛陽宋中J37nB384_p0260a08丞第得臨本,字多殘缺,首尾不完。閱之,乃唐褚潭州J37nB384_p0260a09臨傳於穎上者。迥然精妙,神彩煥然,筆勢飛舞,觔力J37nB384_p0260a10道勁,覺前所見不啻爪餘鱗甲耳!甚珍愛之,遂摹一J37nB384_p0260a11本隨之四方,歷有年矣!今於廣教得碑陰之空,特摹J37nB384_p0260a12勒上石,公諸同好,願結翰墨一段良緣也。
跋徐媛帖
J37nB384_p0260a14曾子固云:「王羲之書,晚乃善,學力所至,非天成也。」筆J37nB384_p0260a15塚墨池,雖好事者所為,可見書不易學,而學亦未易J37nB384_p0260a16成也。羲之始學書於衛夫人,而筆法精妙,足為千古J37nB384_p0260a17矜式,迄今學書家無越乎羲之者也。甲子夏,余過▆J37nB384_p0260a18陽,晤季貞毛文學,以一卷見示,乃女史徐媛所臨古J37nB384_p0260a19字帖也。徐媛書又彷彿羲之,而閫秀鍾發,道逸超邁,J37nB384_p0260a20又神乎其妙,不愧鬚眉,所以可傳,寶之毋忽。
跋趙松雪公帖
J37nB384_p0260a22松雪趙公,在元統以書畫妙天下,為才人中第一,當J37nB384_p0260a23時諸公無出其右者。若字若畫,有手蹟、有墨帖,藏於J37nB384_p0260a24縉紳士夫之家蓋亦多矣!世更滄桑,或淪於泥土者J37nB384_p0260a25有之、或落於田家者有之,此帖不沒於泥土而獲於J37nB384_p0260a26畯夫之手,是亦大幸也。奈何冊葉零落,畯夫不知以J37nB384_p0260a27繩聯之,為田婦鞋樣線夾之具,類乎麻姑至蔡,抓背J37nB384_p0260a28是求;梁鴻寓吳,傭工是作,孰知其賢哉?良可慨也!幸J37nB384_p0260a29斷崖誠子以錢四十文贖之以歸,又亦大幸也。余閱J37nB384_p0260a30之,乃松雪趙公之書杜詩帖也,命工揭裱翻然而新,J37nB384_p0260b01筆力道勁有扛鼎之勢,恍如塵珠再現光耀奪目、泥J37nB384_p0260b02蓮出水香艷拂人,是亦墨林中希有之奇珍也。惜其J37nB384_p0260b03冊首不全,故記其後,以見斯帖之其出其處,是亦不J37nB384_p0260b04幸中之大幸也歟!時康熙二十八年六月廿一日。
跋《聖教序帖》
J37nB384_p0260b06近代《聖教序帖》多殘缺,字畫不完,乃槌擊石碎、搨多J37nB384_p0260b07字銷,罕見有完本矣!適中也禪人持一帖,四角俱圓J37nB384_p0260b08水跡多印,惟字畫燦然鋒芒如新,無斷文、無殘缺,筆J37nB384_p0260b09勢稍全,彷彿細翫,邊有記曰「大元至正二年搨」也。非J37nB384_p0260b10敢信為元搨,觀字畫全美,知非今時之搨也明矣!命J37nB384_p0260b11重新之,什襲珍藏,雖世金可求而此帖不易得也。
