黃之尚生日請上堂。「你有拄杖子我與你拄杖子J35nB342_p0788b25多佛大水漲船高之尚之母極樂逍遙你無拄杖子J35nB342_p0788b26我奪你拄杖子不掛本來切忌未生之尚之壽如崗J35nB342_p0788b27如陵者兩判語與芭蕉拄杖還有契分也無若有契J35nB342_p0788b28則止止不須說我法妙難思若無契分老僧同黃J35nB342_p0788b29之尚乘芭蕉拄杖子入無邊香水海去也還委悉麼J35nB342_p0788b30昨日如心相告周生直念不差大家護惜常住斗米J35nB342_p0788c01換箇冬瓜。」

胡悟聖請上堂。「你有拄杖子與你拄杖子高高築牆J35nB342_p0788c03你無拄杖子奪你拄杖子深深掘塹芭蕉用處畢竟J35nB342_p0788c04如何保得他人腴田萬頃難免自家窮無一線還會J35nB342_p0788c05聽取一偈黑漆電疾劈脊血滴。」顧左右:「!」

曹文秀等請上堂。「佛法二字向下說時直饒文殊J35nB342_p0788c07賢現大人相以虛空為紙大地為硯須彌為筆濺四J35nB342_p0788c08海水書老僧所說至樓至佛出世及窮未來劫亦書J35nB342_p0788c09說不盡向上說時不消拄杖一默。」遂顧拄杖:「且道J35nB342_p0788c10拄杖子有甚麼長處?」

黃光闊請上堂。「帕子崖前一片石四方八面一般寬J35nB342_p0788c12拈來度與黃光闊歲歲今朝作飯錢。」

長至敏松請上堂。「陰陽無氣律管不應飛灰天地有J35nB342_p0788c14梅花故開笑口青宮世子郊外扶犁先王閉關J35nB342_p0788c15人有慶洞山此日拈果慈明今夜放參且道待老山J35nB342_p0788c16中野人畢竟安排箇甚?」遂以拄杖打圓相于中書一J35nB342_p0788c17雲字:「大眾休得眼華老僧終不杜撰。」

解制記來請上堂舉起拂子:「拂子有情豎起諸人J35nB342_p0788c23將不去拄杖無力靠下那箇肯承當所以九十日中J35nB342_p0788c24按圖索馬三箇月內緣木求魚。」遂以拂子作此J35nB342_p0788c25老僧不免為八字打開劃斷鐵限高啟翳𢅏令汝等J35nB342_p0788c26眼蓋乾坤氣吞宇宙去。」復云:「只如鐵蛇橫古路J35nB342_p0788c27又作麼生去?」乃拋下拂子

戊午冬開鑪王仲請上堂。「紅似榴花火一鑪徹天徹J35nB342_p0788c29地徹雲居人人鍊就鐵肝膽問你眉毛生也無?」

無塵大空請上堂。「橫刀且斷真人足織女攀弓欲上J35nB342_p0789a01紅日一輪從古正草之上下自相連。」良久:「雖然J35nB342_p0789a02如是早曲了也莫將閒學解埋沒祖師心。」

長至上堂:「石霜冬日榜僧堂門作此J35nB342_p0789a04其下註云:『若人識得不離四威儀中。』首座見J35nB342_p0789a05和尚今夜放參。』」師云:「首座道放參且置石霜作此J35nB342_p0789a06僧二十年不會今日穿鑿得箇拙頌舉似諸人大家J35nB342_p0789a07鏟削看眾藝文淵六七庫無位真人一喝收直指心J35nB342_p0789a08宗如是法石霜榜上看根由。」喝一喝下座

新戒法本請上堂召法本本應諾復搴起袈裟角J35nB342_p0789a10會麼?」本云:「不會。」師云:「此是佛涅槃後迦葉尊者持上J35nB342_p0789a11雞足山中入大寂定七十俱胝五十六百歲以待慈J35nB342_p0789a12氏底即今慈氏未下生迦葉未出定此個從甚處得J35nB342_p0789a13?」良久:「秪是不歸歸便得五湖煙景有誰爭?」

解制上堂:「南泉道:『老僧自小牧一頭水牯牛擬向J35nB342_p0789a15溪西牧不免食他國王水草擬向溪東牧亦未免食J35nB342_p0789a16他國王水草不如隨分納些些總不見得。』試問大眾J35nB342_p0789a17既是納些些云何道不見得既是不見得何故又道J35nB342_p0789a18納些些淆訛在甚處老僧者裏於九十日內也牧得J35nB342_p0789a19一群水牯牛雖爾水草均調其實欄棬偪隘不免將J35nB342_p0789a20東夔西益南遵北果作一欄棬亦隘東海岱西吐番J35nB342_p0789a21南五嶺北長城作一欄棬亦隘將四天下作一欄裷J35nB342_p0789a22亦隘。」驀以拂子打圓相:「只得將萬億佛土無邊妙J35nB342_p0789a23華光香水海作一欄棬去也亦任他掉尾搖頭昂藏J35nB342_p0789a24鼻孔瓮中不怕走卻鱉。」

開爐上堂顧左右:「八萬四千生鐵漢通身為J35nB342_p0789a26爐諸根炭無明火種著些些鍊億山河成一片。」驀拈J35nB342_p0789a27拂子召大眾:「喚甚麼作無明火種?」遂折疊拂子J35nB342_p0789a28兩吹:「若是不顧危亡的只教他肝腸似易眉目悄J35nB342_p0789a29若是貪生畏死之流爛額焦頭無你迴避處。」J35nB342_p0789a30乃以拂子度與侍者:「收起火種。」

長至上堂。「斗柄北指復見天心春信南枝暖啟地肺J35nB342_p0789b02一陽初動嵩嶽之壽宜呼萬物未生塗山之梨可獻J35nB342_p0789b03以斯福國祐民以斯保障方土即不無只如華巖院J35nB342_p0789b04裏老僧長連床上學士枯木其形墻壁其心如何通J35nB342_p0789b05仲冬莫言無煖氣陽春盡洩不萌枝。」

解制上堂:「如何是奪人不奪境?」師云:「老僧即主杖。」J35nB342_p0789b07進云:「如何是奪境不奪人?」師云:「主杖即老僧。」進云:「J35nB342_p0789b08何是人境兩俱奪?」師云:「倚墻靠壁時薦取。」進云:「如何J35nB342_p0789b09是人境俱不奪?」師云:「閒持主杖松間立笑問客從何J35nB342_p0789b10處來?」:「如何是結制?」師云:「解也。」進云:「如何是解制?」J35nB342_p0789b11:「畫斷鐵限。」乃云:「三個月九十日一千零八十時J35nB342_p0789b12毛彷彿鼻孔依俙同千百億化身之有相類十八高J35nB342_p0789b13賢之無為鐵壁銀墻枯情乾識收心放膽掌電喝雷J35nB342_p0789b14事既功圓行滿理合展目揚眉放全機于方外收露J35nB342_p0789b15布于懷中即不無秪如不動腳跟而行千里不出戶J35nB342_p0789b16庭而遍塵剎一句作麼生道有翼石虎來劫外無毛J35nB342_p0789b17鷂子拍天飛。」

佛宇寺玉初師送僧伽黎請上堂:「海舟慈祖訪東J35nB342_p0789b19明旵祖于古道山扣關而問曰:『無上福田衣甚麼人J35nB342_p0789b20得披?』明下座打一掌舟云:『四大非有五蘊本空作麼J35nB342_p0789b21?』明又掌舟云:『一掌不作一掌用又作麼生?』明又掌J35nB342_p0789b22明見得海舟神色不變稱譽道:『我住古道山二十年J35nB342_p0789b23今朝只見者漢。』遂以袈裟與之舟辭曰:『某不為衣來。』」J35nB342_p0789b24師云:「德玉謬解道慈祖大似眼觀灘浪失卻手橈J35nB342_p0789b25話頭渾然忘卻既問無相福田及其與之卻又不J35nB342_p0789b26恁麼會又爭得殊不知明祖乃醉後添盃慈祖乃J35nB342_p0789b27飯飽弄箸耳今日玉初上人將師所授衣秘惜J35nB342_p0789b28特捨請法大類乎此亦似飯飽弄箸來請老僧出季J35nB342_p0789b29而關升曲彔木出東轉西一上一下不可徒然還當J35nB342_p0789b30得醉後添盃也無?」乃揲袈裟角:「若將耳聽終難會J35nB342_p0789c01眼底聞聲方始知。」

庚申冬結制上堂。「往歲有檀那請我陞此座今歲無J35nB342_p0789c03人請秪想挨排過所以病老僧開口無法說。」喝一喝J35nB342_p0789c04:「各人自薦取鼻孔下頭大。」

佛成道九超請上堂豎起拂子召大眾:「會麼此是J35nB342_p0789c06九超尋常用底鐵火叉也日日剔柴撥火朝朝辦生J35nB342_p0789c07作熟供養諸人不獨今朝也九超用底即是世尊今J35nB342_p0789c08朝悟底至于塵沙國土普世界叢林世尊無一處不J35nB342_p0789c09今朝一齊而悟不獨華岩也如是舉揚若單為聖J35nB342_p0789c10則孤負九超若單為九超又孤負聖節畢竟作麼J35nB342_p0789c11?」遂以拂子擊几案兩下:「兩彩一賽。」

乾州李別駕三元章臺諫請上堂:「郭功輔截江訪J35nB342_p0789c13白雲于海會是何意旨?」師云:「四壁光吞蓬戶日。」進云J35nB342_p0789c14白雲問功:『牛淳乎?』功曰:『淳矣。』白雲叱之功拱而立J35nB342_p0789c15:『淳矣淳矣!』淳在甚處?」師云:「一缾香熟地爐茶。」進云J35nB342_p0789c16即今二護法遙來相訪請和尚說法且道與功輔訪J35nB342_p0789c17白雲是同是別?」師豎拳:「會麼?」進云:「不會。」師云:「苟非J35nB342_p0789c18意外相知者徒把空拳豎向他。」進云:「恁麼則水向石J35nB342_p0789c19邊流出冷風從花裏過來香。」師云:「且喜薦得。」乃云:「J35nB342_p0789c20疊巒疏一逕遙千株松續斷山腰今朝何幸來雙轡J35nB342_p0789c21起我殘荒破寂寥。」:「臨濟同普化到施主家齋濟問J35nB342_p0789c22化云:『毛吞巨海芥納須彌為是神通玅用為是法爾J35nB342_p0789c23如然?』普化踏倒飯床濟云:『太麤生。』次日又到施主家J35nB342_p0789c24濟云:『今朝何似昨日?』化又踏倒飯床濟云:『得得太J35nB342_p0789c25麤生。』化云:『瞎漢佛法說甚麼麤細?』濟乃吐舌。」師云:「J35nB342_p0789c26化兩次踏倒飯床若是神通玅用臨濟不合道他太J35nB342_p0789c27麤生若是法爾如然臨濟不合吐舌二老發明黃檗J35nB342_p0789c28宗旨即不無爭如我李章二公王臣蹇蹇匪躬之故J35nB342_p0789c29不畏蜀道之難登劍閣而識張載之銘宿釣魚而知J35nB342_p0789c30二冉之指穿縉雲涉字水來此江州國事之餘得得J35nB342_p0790a01來山供佛飯僧請法不懈俾老僧舉古舉今演揚佛J35nB342_p0790a02祖正法誠哉希有看他二公一面勤勞王事一面墻J35nB342_p0790a03塹三寶如斯神通玅用誰敢道細道麤豈不超他古J35nB342_p0790a04人頭地者事且止因齋慶讚報答二檀祝國祐民J35nB342_p0790a05固江山一句作麼生道北門函固金鎖鑰南來劍益J35nB342_p0790a06萬里城。」

解制上堂:「大通智勝佛十劫坐道場因甚佛法不J35nB342_p0790a11現前?」師云:「業識未盡。」進云:「因甚不得成佛道?」師云:「J35nB342_p0790a12汝業識盡時向你道。」僧無語師豎拂子:「會麼?」僧云J35nB342_p0790a13不會。」師云:「凡老僧所說不可作實法會。」復以拂子擊J35nB342_p0790a14几案:「但與麼會。」便下座

辛酉冬結制李承應請上堂。「佛法遍在一切處既遍J35nB342_p0790a16在一切處還有針鋒許芥子許不周遍處也無若有J35nB342_p0790a17即非佛法也恁麼說話忽有箇漢出來拽將下座J35nB342_p0790a18搥腳折不為分外。」良久:「老僧非是壓良為賤J35nB342_p0790a19卑視諸人老僧有箇驗法可以作證秘魔見人來便J35nB342_p0790a20以叉叉住:『道得也叉下死道不得也叉下死J35nB342_p0790a21速道速道!』擬議便叉出慈明室內常安一水盆盆上J35nB342_p0790a22置一劍傍著一緉草鞋僧纔入便云:『!』僧擬議便趁J35nB342_p0790a23老僧恁麼舉妄想得一個撞著露柱瞎漢出來承J35nB342_p0790a24總不見有也。」驀顧維那喝一喝下座

冬至日上堂。「石霜揭出榜文為蛇腹下畫足洞山徹J35nB342_p0790a26退果桌向龜背上拔毛二老恁麼為人汝等作麼生J35nB342_p0790a27?」:「德山拓缽出方丈意旨如何?」師云:「為汝不薦。」J35nB342_p0790a28:「雪峰與麼老漢為甚默然歸室?」師云:「欲隱彌露。」J35nB342_p0790a29:「覓火和煙得擔泉帶月歸。」師云:「你見甚麼與麼道?」J35nB342_p0790a30進云:「德山道:『你不肯那頭密啟其意。』啟甚麼意?」師云J35nB342_p0790b01老漢出醜。」進云:「不然腦後一槌堪著力到頭雲足覓J35nB342_p0790b02山歸。」師云:「是頭歸是你歸?」僧便喝師云:「老僧也出醜。」J35nB342_p0790b03進云:「因甚師遭徒記?」師云:「如蟲蛀木偶爾成文。」進云J35nB342_p0790b04也是月滿還虧欠火猛不久然。」師云:「是何言也大千J35nB342_p0790b05沙界海中漚一切聖賢如電拂。」乃云:「石霜榜文老僧J35nB342_p0790b06一一為汝等註破J35nB342_p0790b07唯此個註不得既是六箇註得因甚此個註不得J35nB342_p0790b08要再打一箇有甚麼難!」

解制鄭明政鄭守能請上堂。「九十日前如何鼻孔雙J35nB342_p0790b10正當九十日如何雙垂鼻孔今則九十日後也J35nB342_p0790b11作麼生穿卻鼻孔衲僧家的鼻孔東西十萬南北八J35nB342_p0790b12不能比其寬狹過去未來現在盡三世際不能擬J35nB342_p0790b13其礙通甚麼人敢穿衲僧鼻孔?」乃顧拄杖:「珍重撩J35nB342_p0790b14天拄杖子應知深淺與高低。」

省山維那薦亡弟念先請上堂:「僧問雲門:『如何是J35nB342_p0790b16塵塵三昧?』門云:『缽裏飯桶裏水。』」師云:「者僧於此瞥地J35nB342_p0790b17雲門可謂功不浪施者僧于此不瞥地因甚默然J35nB342_p0790b18而休念先禪人於此履踐得入斯門生前面目儼然J35nB342_p0790b19現在。」顧左右:「大眾還見麼若以父母生眼見是凡J35nB342_p0790b20不以父母生眼見是聖見愛聖憎凡生死海裏浮J35nB342_p0790b21既不如此且道如何與他相見?」驀拈拄杖:「來也J35nB342_p0790b22只見子形不聞子聲。」復卓一下:「只聞子聲不見子J35nB342_p0790b23。」又卓一下:「細無不入大無不包其直如箭其利J35nB342_p0790b24似刀所以三平得中成聖臨濟被拂如蒿。」又卓拄杖J35nB342_p0790b25兩下

曾光省請上堂召省近前:「你未出門時老僧已為J35nB342_p0790b27汝說一念回觀便同本得法了也出門時已為你說J35nB342_p0790b28舉足下足無非道場法了也既到者裏已為你說三J35nB342_p0790b29皈依近事男法了也你請老僧復為說法說何等法J35nB342_p0790b30老僧忖你意謂此是化城終非寶所不入驚人浪J35nB342_p0790c01難逢稱意魚必欲得上上法爾。」乃驀拈拄杖卓兩下J35nB342_p0790c02:「十方世界平如掌一條官路直如弦珍重眼前緇J35nB342_p0790c03素輩殷勤來踏上頭關。」

雙桂忌辰慈雲价南大士請上堂卓拄杖兩下顧左J35nB342_p0790c05召眾:「汾陽喫一臠雙桂喫一世葉縣接浮山J35nB342_p0790c06以水漉地棒棒棒德山喝喝喝臨濟喫肉斷慈悲J35nB342_p0790c07罵乖佛制況今學道人作匹事間耳不惟不肯疑J35nB342_p0790c08亦不解舉。」復卓拄杖:「舉已舉了且道作麼生疑J35nB342_p0790c09斷大慈悲佛性種子耶疑打罵耶聽取一頌無影樹J35nB342_p0790c10子一高株葉葉枝枝還自扶方便若干差別智悟來J35nB342_p0790c11毒藥亦醍醐。」

冬結制八德大士請上堂:「南嶽讓參六祖J35nB342_p0790c13:『甚麼物恁麼來?』讓無語依止六載祖一日又問云J35nB342_p0790c14甚麼物恁麼來?』讓云:『說似一物即不中。』祖云:『還假修J35nB342_p0790c15證否?』讓云:『修證即不無染污即不得。』近時禪者設或J35nB342_p0790c16老僧問著:『甚麼物恁麼來?』他即挺身向前請和尚鑒J35nB342_p0790c17或豎一拳或展一掌或拂袖便行如斯鹵莽怎能相J35nB342_p0790c18你看他古人參則真參悟則實悟靠個話頭六載J35nB342_p0790c19之久心地開朗出言吐語有甚縫鏬只緩緩低對道J35nB342_p0790c20說似一物即不中。』六祖又復驗云:『還假修證否?』若是J35nB342_p0790c21而今禪者便道:『不假修證。』或喝一喝:『猶有者箇在。』J35nB342_p0790c22發虛不少你看他讓祖是諦當悟證有底蘊的人J35nB342_p0790c23答道:『修證即不無染污即不得。』若是悟證不諦當J35nB342_p0790c24能如此即今禪者就此爐錘正好用力求個實在諦J35nB342_p0790c25當證悟處不得以太平無事為安樂纔有安樂之念J35nB342_p0790c26便成染污切忌切忌!」下座

大空師請上堂:「六祖得脫獵網尚登毘尼因甚丹J35nB342_p0790c28霞掩耳而去?」師云:「𥳽箕有唇。」進云:「高沙彌拂袖未審J35nB342_p0790c29不肯阿誰?」師云:「貓兒尾後繫研槌。」乃云:「芭蕉道:『你有J35nB342_p0790c30拄杖子我與你拄杖子你無拄杖子我奪卻你拄杖J35nB342_p0791a01。』老僧始觀如湧泉得相續心漸次觀如長江得流J35nB342_p0791a02注心而今老僧究竟看來如大海一樣得飽滿心J35nB342_p0791a03麼舉揚與諸方評唱如堰鼠飲河無過滿腹而。」J35nB342_p0791a04左右顧視:「汝等諸人作麼生會?」

進斯請上堂以拂子召進斯:「汝昨日請老僧今朝J35nB342_p0791a06為汝說法與汝說父母未生前底法彼自無瘡勿傷J35nB342_p0791a07之也與汝說父母生後法六根具足欠少甚麼不免J35nB342_p0791a08舉則現成公案暫留大眾觀聽昔迦葉問阿難:『世尊J35nB342_p0791a09在日嘗道:「一言一句該括三十七品無邊法義。」何者J35nB342_p0791a10?』阿難云:『諸惡莫作眾善奉行自淨其意是諸佛教。』J35nB342_p0791a11汝還會麼此四句三歲孩兒也道得八十翁翁行不J35nB342_p0791a12諸惡莫作十重四十八輕也眾善奉行三十心十J35nB342_p0791a13地也如是莫作如是奉行自淨其意可以自利如是J35nB342_p0791a14莫作如是奉行是諸佛教可以利人雖然如是不及J35nB342_p0791a15水潦參馬祖祖一蹋潦蹶起:『百千法門無量玅義J35nB342_p0791a16今向一毛頭上識得根源去。』猶較些子。」以拂子擊一J35nB342_p0791a17:「截斷葛藤。」

總府陳公子發賢工部陳公子光哲叔姪脫白請上J35nB342_p0791a19。「曾將名字寄吾廬八載形同事不虛賢母倚門而J35nB342_p0791a20日望待親一杖墮金魚綠袍頻換紫袈裟記得靈山J35nB342_p0791a21咐囑麼祖禰蜀燕添五福兒孫南北益三多。」

癸亥冬結制上堂。「紅爐云何施設為煆鈍鐵頑鋼J35nB342_p0791c12有躍冶之金不妨就中𨁝有麼有麼?」:「華岩堂上J35nB342_p0791c13大彰旗鼓雲集四來最初一句作麼生露布?」師云:「J35nB342_p0791c14浪聞。」進云:「學人無耳聞個甚麼?」師云:「相隨來也。」:「J35nB342_p0791c15撾塗毒鼓能舞太阿鋒且道阿誰境界?」師云:「是無面J35nB342_p0791c16目人境界。」進云:「無面目有何境界?」師云:「喪卻窮性命。」J35nB342_p0791c17乃舉:「趙州訪一菴主:『有麼有麼?』主豎起拳州云:『J35nB342_p0791c18淺不是泊船處。』又訪一菴主:『有麼有麼?』主亦豎起J35nB342_p0791c19州云:『能縱能能煞能活。』便禮拜。」師云:「有著前菴J35nB342_p0791c20主豎拳:『突出難辨。』著後菴主豎拳:『好本多同。』J35nB342_p0791c21何趙州肯一箇不肯一箇著云:『舌頭還在趙州口裏J35nB342_p0791c22只要磨稜合縫便了也。』與此個事有何交涉正所謂J35nB342_p0791c23醍醐上味為世所珍遇斯等人翻成毒藥只須努力J35nB342_p0791c24體取好審實悟證自在可期。」

光銳請上堂:「『德山拓缽上法堂。』富嫌千口少。『雪峰J35nB342_p0791c26晒飯巾次:「者老漢鐘未響鼓未鳴拓缽向甚麼處J35nB342_p0791c27?」』獅子窟中無異獸。『德山便歸方丈。』貧憾一身多。『J35nB342_p0791c28舉似岩頭頭云:「者老漢未會末後句在。」』旃檀林中豈J35nB342_p0791c29有雜草?『山使人喚頭至:「你不肯老僧那?」頭密啟其J35nB342_p0791c30。』父為子隱子為父隱。『山次日上堂果與往不同。』J35nB342_p0792a01遍虛空蓋覆不著。『頭撫掌:「雖然如是也秪得三年J35nB342_p0792a02。」』家富小兒驕。」遂顧左右:「老僧恁麼批判還穩當J35nB342_p0792a03也未?」良久:「老僧只管鑽龜打瓦一任諸方貶剝。」

上堂:「鹽官上堂:『虛空為鼓須彌為槌甚麼人打J35nB342_p0792a16?』眾無對後有僧舉似南泉泉云:『王老師不打者破J35nB342_p0792a17。』法眼別云:『但道不打自然是破鼓。』應菴華祖云:『J35nB342_p0792a18泉撥亂飛灰法眼埋兵掉鬥更無一人性燥下得一J35nB342_p0792a19。』乃顧左右云:『漆桶參堂去。』」師云:「南泉打破鼓法眼J35nB342_p0792a20補破鼓華祖性燥下得一槌又何嘗打著爭如今日J35nB342_p0792a21悉知上座下者一槌使得老僧與汝諸人就如虎丘J35nB342_p0792a22弔桶一齊都到食堂裡看觀世音將錢來買餬餅J35nB342_p0792a23下手卻原來是饅頭。」遂以拂子打一圓相:「者是虛J35nB342_p0792a24空鼓。」於中著一點:「者是須彌槌。」顧左右:「還有麼J35nB342_p0792a25試再打看。」
