J35nB342_p0788b02 J35nB342_p0788b03丁巳冬結制,張自新等請上堂。「爐炭緋紅,為鎔頑鋼J35nB342_p0788b04鈍鐵;砧槌網密,要打利劍銛鎗。設使本有現成,何妨J35nB342_p0788b05重烹再鍊?若是躍冶自況,徒勞爛額焦頭。」遂驀拈拄J35nB342_p0788b06杖,卓一卓、喝一喝,度與侍者,云:「暫教放在幽窗前,閒J35nB342_p0788b07日與君重打算。」
J35nB342_p0788b08化主光體率渝城眾鄉長送毘盧佛入山,請上堂。問:J35nB342_p0788b09「未出母胎,度人已畢,因甚又有者翻起倒?」師云:「河源J35nB342_p0788b10萬里。」進云:「即如眾鄉長跋涉送佛入山,得何功德?」師J35nB342_p0788b11云:「隄高百尺。」乃驀拈拄杖打圓相,云:「大眾!見麼?毘盧J35nB342_p0788b12遮那佛說法已竟。若於此見得,不消德玉重說偈言;J35nB342_p0788b13其或未然,德玉落第二頭,與諸人打之遶一上。要會J35nB342_p0788b14毘盧遮那來歷麼?發足滇海,經涉黔陽,不御風雲,豈J35nB342_p0788b15待車馬?東山水上行,西河火裏坐,阿誰藏身北斗?薰J35nB342_p0788b16風推送南來。渝中兩月淹留,檀那一朝奮發,麻三斤J35nB342_p0788b17約束全軀,竹筋鞭勤策正道。舁奉斬新華座,幻出仍J35nB342_p0788b18舊主人,非我多兩片皮,緣他少一口氣。雖爾無法可J35nB342_p0788b19說,要且有儀可觀,相好八萬四千,光明普天匝地,為J35nB342_p0788b20祥為瑞、福國福民即不無,只如今日化主率眾檀越J35nB342_p0788b21旛蓋溢目、香火蒸雲,迎的迎、送的送,煥耀梵宇、光輝J35nB342_p0788b22佛日一句作麼生道?落華臺上重鋪錦,瑪瑙階前布J35nB342_p0788b23玉沙。」卓拄杖,下座。
J35nB342_p0788b24黃之尚生日,請上堂。「你有拄杖子,我與你拄杖子,泥J35nB342_p0788b25多佛大,水漲船高,之尚之母,極樂逍遙;你無拄杖子,J35nB342_p0788b26我奪你拄杖子,不掛本來,切忌未生,之尚之壽,如崗J35nB342_p0788b27如陵。者兩判語與芭蕉拄杖還有契分也無?若有契J35nB342_p0788b28分,則止止不須說,我法妙難思;若無契分,老僧同黃J35nB342_p0788b29之尚乘芭蕉拄杖子入無邊香水海去也。還委悉麼?J35nB342_p0788b30昨日如心相告,周生直念不差,大家護惜常住,斗米J35nB342_p0788c01換箇冬瓜。」
J35nB342_p0788c02胡悟聖請上堂。「你有拄杖子,與你拄杖子,高高築牆;J35nB342_p0788c03你無拄杖子,奪你拄杖子,深深掘塹。芭蕉用處畢竟J35nB342_p0788c04如何?保得他人腴田萬頃,難免自家窮無一線。還會J35nB342_p0788c05麼?聽取一偈:黑漆電疾,劈脊血滴。」顧左右,云:「咦!」
J35nB342_p0788c06曹文秀等請上堂。「佛法二字向下說時,直饒文殊、普J35nB342_p0788c07賢現大人相,以虛空為紙、大地為硯、須彌為筆,濺四J35nB342_p0788c08海水書老僧所說,至樓至佛出世及窮未來劫亦書J35nB342_p0788c09說不盡。向上說時,不消拄杖一默。」遂顧拄杖,云:「且道:J35nB342_p0788c10拄杖子有甚麼長處?」
J35nB342_p0788c11黃光闊請上堂。「帕子崖前一片石,四方八面一般寬,J35nB342_p0788c12拈來度與黃光闊,歲歲今朝作飯錢。」
J35nB342_p0788c13長至,敏松請上堂。「陰陽無氣,律管不應飛灰;天地有J35nB342_p0788c14情,梅花故開笑口。青宮世子,郊外扶犁;先王閉關,一J35nB342_p0788c15人有慶。洞山此日拈果,慈明今夜放參。且道:待老山J35nB342_p0788c16中野人畢竟安排箇甚?」遂以拄杖打圓相,于中書一J35nB342_p0788c17雲字,云:「大眾休得眼華,老僧終不杜撰。」
J35nB342_p0788c18佛成道,劉澤民請上堂。「六年忍苦住寒山,筍膝巢顱J35nB342_p0788c19安不安?今日長連床上客,全三全七坐猶難。」
J35nB342_p0788c20上堂。「釋迦、彌勒猶是他奴。他是誰奴?郭居士飯錢,莫J35nB342_p0788c21只靠老僧▆家還始得。」眾無對,師乃摑口一下。

,云:J35nB342_p0788c25「老僧不免為八字打開,劃斷鐵限,高啟翳𢅏,令汝等J35nB342_p0788c26眼蓋乾坤,氣吞宇宙去。」復云:「住!住!只如鐵蛇橫古路J35nB342_p0788c27又作麼生去?」乃拋下拂子。戊午冬開鑪,王仲請上堂。「紅似榴花火一鑪,徹天徹J35nB342_p0788c29地徹雲居,人人鍊就鐵肝膽,問你眉毛生也無?」
J35nB342_p0788c30無塵、大空請上堂。「橫刀且斷真人足,織女攀弓欲上J35nB342_p0789a01弦,紅日一輪從古正,草之上下自相連。」良久,云:「雖然J35nB342_p0789a02如是,早曲了也。莫將閒學解,埋沒祖師心。」

,其下註云:『若人識得,不離四威儀中。』首座見,云:J35nB342_p0789a05『和尚今夜放參。』」師云:「首座道放參且置,石霜作此,老J35nB342_p0789a06僧二十年不會,今日穿鑿得箇拙頌,舉似諸人,大家J35nB342_p0789a07鏟削看:眾藝文淵六七庫,無位真人一喝收。直指心J35nB342_p0789a08宗如是法,石霜榜上看根由。」喝一喝,下座。新戒法本請上堂。召法本,本應諾。復搴起袈裟角,云:J35nB342_p0789a10「會麼?」本云:「不會。」師云:「此是佛涅槃後,迦葉尊者持上J35nB342_p0789a11雞足山中入大寂定,七十俱胝五十六百歲以待慈J35nB342_p0789a12氏底。即今慈氏未下生、迦葉未出定,此個從甚處得J35nB342_p0789a13來?」良久,云:「秪是不歸歸便得,五湖煙景有誰爭?」
J35nB342_p0789a14解制,上堂。舉:「南泉道:『老僧自小牧一頭水牯牛,擬向J35nB342_p0789a15溪西牧,不免食他國王水草;擬向溪東牧,亦未免食J35nB342_p0789a16他國王水草。不如隨分納些些,總不見得。』試問大眾:J35nB342_p0789a17既是納些些,云何道不見得?既是不見得,何故又道J35nB342_p0789a18納些些?淆訛在甚處?老僧者裏於九十日內也牧得J35nB342_p0789a19一群水牯牛,雖爾水草均調,其實欄棬偪隘,不免將J35nB342_p0789a20東夔、西益、南遵、北果作一欄棬亦隘,東海岱、西吐番、J35nB342_p0789a21南五嶺、北長城作一欄棬亦隘,將四天下作一欄裷J35nB342_p0789a22亦隘。」驀以拂子打圓相,云:「只得將萬億佛土、無邊妙J35nB342_p0789a23華光香水海作一欄棬去也,亦任他掉尾搖頭,昂藏J35nB342_p0789a24鼻孔,瓮中不怕走卻鱉。」
J35nB342_p0789a25己未,開爐,上堂。顧左右,云:「八萬四千生鐵漢,通身為J35nB342_p0789a26爐諸根炭,無明火種著些些,鍊億山河成一片。」驀拈J35nB342_p0789a27拂子,召大眾,云:「喚甚麼作無明火種?」遂折疊拂子,吹J35nB342_p0789a28兩吹,云:「若是不顧危亡的,只教他肝腸似易,眉目悄J35nB342_p0789a29然;若是貪生畏死之流,早已爛額焦頭,無你迴避處。」J35nB342_p0789a30乃以拂子度與侍者,云:「收起火種。」
J35nB342_p0789b01長至,上堂。「斗柄北指,復見天心;春信南枝,暖啟地肺。J35nB342_p0789b02一陽初動,嵩嶽之壽宜呼;萬物未生,塗山之梨可獻。J35nB342_p0789b03以斯福國祐民、以斯保障方土即不無,只如華巖院J35nB342_p0789b04裏老僧、長連床上學士,枯木其形、墻壁其心,如何通J35nB342_p0789b05信?仲冬莫言無煖氣,陽春盡洩不萌枝。」
J35nB342_p0789b06解制,上堂。問:「如何是奪人不奪境?」師云:「老僧即主杖。」J35nB342_p0789b07進云:「如何是奪境不奪人?」師云:「主杖即老僧。」進云:「如J35nB342_p0789b08何是人境兩俱奪?」師云:「倚墻靠壁時薦取。」進云:「如何J35nB342_p0789b09是人境俱不奪?」師云:「閒持主杖松間立,笑問客從何J35nB342_p0789b10處來?」問:「如何是結制?」師云:「解也。」進云:「如何是解制?」師J35nB342_p0789b11云:「畫斷鐵限。」乃云:「三個月,九十日,一千零八十時,眉J35nB342_p0789b12毛彷彿,鼻孔依俙,同千百億化身之有相,類十八高J35nB342_p0789b13賢之無為,鐵壁銀墻,枯情乾識,收心放膽,掌電喝雷,J35nB342_p0789b14事既功圓行滿,理合展目揚眉。放全機于方外、收露J35nB342_p0789b15布于懷中即不無,秪如不動腳跟而行千里、不出戶J35nB342_p0789b16庭而遍塵剎一句作麼生道?有翼石虎來劫外,無毛J35nB342_p0789b17鷂子拍天飛。」
J35nB342_p0789b18佛宇寺玉初師送僧伽黎,請上堂。舉:「海舟慈祖訪東J35nB342_p0789b19明旵祖于古道山,扣關而問曰:『無上福田衣,甚麼人J35nB342_p0789b20得披?』明下座,打一掌。舟云:『四大非有,五蘊本空,作麼J35nB342_p0789b21生?』明又掌。舟云:『一掌不作一掌用,又作麼生?』明又掌。J35nB342_p0789b22明見得海舟神色不變,稱譽道:『我住古道山二十年,J35nB342_p0789b23今朝只見者漢。』遂以袈裟與之,舟辭曰:『某不為衣來。』」J35nB342_p0789b24師云:「德玉謬解,道慈祖大似眼觀灘浪,失卻手橈,自J35nB342_p0789b25己話頭,渾然忘卻。既問無相福田,及其與之,卻又不J35nB342_p0789b26受,恁麼會又爭得?殊不知:明祖乃醉後添盃,慈祖乃J35nB342_p0789b27飯飽弄箸耳。今日玉初上人將師所授衣秘惜已久,J35nB342_p0789b28特捨請法,大類乎此,亦似飯飽弄箸來請老僧出季J35nB342_p0789b29而關,升曲彔木,出東轉西,一上一下,不可徒然,還當J35nB342_p0789b30得醉後添盃也無?」乃揲袈裟角,云:「若將耳聽終難會,J35nB342_p0789c01眼底聞聲方始知。」
J35nB342_p0789c02庚申冬結制,上堂。「往歲有檀那,請我陞此座。今歲無J35nB342_p0789c03人請,秪想挨排過。所以病老僧,開口無法說。」喝一喝,J35nB342_p0789c04云:「各人自薦取,鼻孔下頭大。」
J35nB342_p0789c05佛成道,九超請上堂。豎起拂子,召大眾,云:「會麼?此是J35nB342_p0789c06九超尋常用底鐵火叉也。日日剔柴撥火,朝朝辦生J35nB342_p0789c07作熟,供養諸人,不獨今朝也。九超用底即是世尊今J35nB342_p0789c08朝悟底,至于塵沙國土、普世界叢林,世尊無一處不J35nB342_p0789c09是,今朝一齊而悟,不獨華岩也。如是舉揚,若單為聖J35nB342_p0789c10節,則孤負九超;若單為九超,又孤負聖節。畢竟作麼J35nB342_p0789c11生?」遂以拂子擊几案兩下,云:「兩彩一賽。」
J35nB342_p0789c12乾州李別駕、三元章臺諫請上堂。問:「郭功輔截江訪J35nB342_p0789c13白雲于海會,是何意旨?」師云:「四壁光吞蓬戶日。」進云:J35nB342_p0789c14「白雲問功:『牛淳乎?』功曰:『淳矣。』白雲叱之,功拱而立,雲J35nB342_p0789c15曰:『淳矣!淳矣!』淳在甚處?」師云:「一缾香熟地爐茶。」進云:J35nB342_p0789c16「即今二護法遙來相訪,請和尚說法。且道:與功輔訪J35nB342_p0789c17白雲是同?是別?」師豎拳,云:「會麼?」進云:「不會。」師云:「苟非J35nB342_p0789c18意外相知者,徒把空拳豎向他。」進云:「恁麼則水向石J35nB342_p0789c19邊流出冷,風從花裏過來香。」師云:「且喜薦得。」乃云:「萬J35nB342_p0789c20疊巒疏一逕遙,千株松續斷山腰,今朝何幸來雙轡,J35nB342_p0789c21起我殘荒破寂寥。」舉:「臨濟同普化到施主家齋。濟問J35nB342_p0789c22化云:『毛吞巨海,芥納須彌,為是神通玅用?為是法爾J35nB342_p0789c23如然?』普化踏倒飯床。濟云:『太麤生。』次日,又到施主家J35nB342_p0789c24齋。濟云:『今朝何似昨日?』化又踏倒飯床。濟云:『得得太J35nB342_p0789c25麤生。』化云:『瞎漢!佛法說甚麼麤細?』濟乃吐舌。」師云:「普J35nB342_p0789c26化兩次踏倒飯床,若是神通玅用,臨濟不合道他太J35nB342_p0789c27麤生;若是法爾如然,臨濟不合吐舌。二老發明黃檗J35nB342_p0789c28宗旨即不無,爭如我李、章二公,王臣蹇蹇,匪躬之故,J35nB342_p0789c29不畏蜀道之難,登劍閣而識張載之銘、宿釣魚而知J35nB342_p0789c30二冉之指,穿縉雲、涉字水,來此江州國事之餘,得得J35nB342_p0790a01來山供佛飯僧,請法不懈,俾老僧舉古舉今,演揚佛J35nB342_p0790a02祖正法,誠哉希有!看他二公一面勤勞王事、一面墻J35nB342_p0790a03塹三寶,如斯神通玅用,誰敢道細、道麤?豈不超他古J35nB342_p0790a04人頭地?者事且止,因齋慶讚,報答二檀,祝國祐民,鞏J35nB342_p0790a05固江山一句作麼生道?北門函固金鎖鑰,南來劍益J35nB342_p0790a06萬里城。」
J35nB342_p0790a07陳宗富薦妻請上堂。驀豎拂子,云:「渾沌初分開柳條,J35nB342_p0790a08無文心印綻桑苞。女媧昨日補天漏,鍊得雲根上九J35nB342_p0790a09霄。」擊拂子一下。時正月廿三日也。
J35nB342_p0790a10解制,上堂。問:「大通智勝佛,十劫坐道場,因甚佛法不J35nB342_p0790a11現前?」師云:「業識未盡。」進云:「因甚不得成佛道?」師云:「待J35nB342_p0790a12汝業識盡時向你道。」僧無語。師豎拂子,云:「會麼?」僧云:J35nB342_p0790a13「不會。」師云:「凡老僧所說,不可作實法會。」復以拂子擊J35nB342_p0790a14几案,云:「但與麼會。」便下座。
J35nB342_p0790a15辛酉冬結制,李承應請上堂。「佛法遍在一切處,既遍J35nB342_p0790a16在一切處,還有針鋒許、芥子許不周遍處也無?若有,J35nB342_p0790a17即非佛法也。恁麼說話,忽有箇漢出來拽將下座,好J35nB342_p0790a18搥腳折,不為分外。」良久,云:「住!住!老僧非是壓良為賤,J35nB342_p0790a19卑視諸人,老僧有箇驗法可以作證。秘魔見人來,便J35nB342_p0790a20以叉叉住,云:『道!道!道得也,叉下死;道不得也,叉下死。J35nB342_p0790a21速道!速道!』擬議,便叉出。慈明室內常安一水盆,盆上J35nB342_p0790a22置一劍,傍著一緉草鞋,僧纔入,便云:『咦!』僧擬議,便趁J35nB342_p0790a23出。老僧恁麼舉,妄想得一個撞著露柱瞎漢出來承J35nB342_p0790a24當,總不見有也。」驀顧維那,喝一喝,下座。

J35nB342_p0790b07唯此個註不得。既是六箇註得,因甚
此個註不得?J35nB342_p0790b08要再打一箇,有甚麼難?咦!」解制,鄭明政、鄭守能請上堂。「九十日前如何鼻孔雙J35nB342_p0790b10垂?正當九十日如何雙垂鼻孔?今則九十日後也,又J35nB342_p0790b11作麼生穿卻鼻孔?衲僧家的鼻孔,東西十萬、南北八J35nB342_p0790b12千,不能比其寬狹;過去、未來、現在,盡三世際不能擬J35nB342_p0790b13其礙通。甚麼人敢穿衲僧鼻孔?」乃顧拄杖,云:「珍重撩J35nB342_p0790b14天拄杖子,應知深淺與高低。」
J35nB342_p0790b15省山維那薦亡弟念先,請上堂。舉:「僧問雲門:『如何是J35nB342_p0790b16塵塵三昧?』門云:『缽裏飯,桶裏水。』」師云:「者僧於此瞥地J35nB342_p0790b17去,雲門可謂功不浪施;者僧于此不瞥地,因甚默然J35nB342_p0790b18而休?念先禪人於此履踐得入斯門,生前面目儼然J35nB342_p0790b19現在。」顧左右,云:「大眾!還見麼?若以父母生眼見是凡J35nB342_p0790b20見、不以父母生眼見是聖見,愛聖憎凡,生死海裏浮J35nB342_p0790b21沉。既不如此,且道:如何與他相見?」驀拈拄杖,云:「來也,J35nB342_p0790b22只見子形,不聞子聲。」復卓一下,云:「只聞子聲,不見子J35nB342_p0790b23形。」又卓一下,云:「細無不入,大無不包,其直如箭,其利J35nB342_p0790b24似刀。所以,三平得中成聖,臨濟被拂如蒿。」又卓拄杖J35nB342_p0790b25兩下。
J35nB342_p0790b26曾光省請上堂。召省近前,云:「你未出門時,老僧已為J35nB342_p0790b27汝說一念回觀便同本得法了也;出門時,已為你說J35nB342_p0790b28舉足下足無非道場法了也;既到者裏,已為你說三J35nB342_p0790b29皈依近事男法了也。你請老僧復為說法,說何等法J35nB342_p0790b30耶?老僧忖你意,謂此是化城,終非寶所,不入驚人浪,J35nB342_p0790c01難逢稱意魚,必欲得上上法爾。」乃驀拈拄杖卓兩下,J35nB342_p0790c02云:「十方世界平如掌,一條官路直如弦,珍重眼前緇J35nB342_p0790c03素輩,殷勤來踏上頭關。」
J35nB342_p0790c04雙桂忌辰,慈雲价南大士請上堂。卓拄杖兩下,顧左J35nB342_p0790c05右,召眾,云:「汾陽喫一臠,雙桂喫一世,葉縣接浮山,惟J35nB342_p0790c06以水漉地。棒棒棒德山,喝喝喝臨濟,喫肉斷慈悲,打J35nB342_p0790c07罵乖佛制。況今學道人,作匹事間耳,不惟不肯疑,且J35nB342_p0790c08亦不解舉。」復卓拄杖,云:「舉已舉了,且道:作麼生疑?疑J35nB342_p0790c09斷大慈悲佛性種子耶?疑打罵耶?聽取一頌:無影樹J35nB342_p0790c10子一高株,葉葉枝枝還自扶。方便若干差別智,悟來J35nB342_p0790c11毒藥亦醍醐。」
J35nB342_p0790c12壬戌冬結制,八德大士請上堂。舉:「南嶽讓參六祖,祖J35nB342_p0790c13問:『甚麼物恁麼來?』讓無語。依止六載,祖一日又問云:J35nB342_p0790c14『甚麼物恁麼來?』讓云:『說似一物即不中。』祖云:『還假修J35nB342_p0790c15證否?』讓云:『修證即不無,染污即不得。』近時禪者設或J35nB342_p0790c16老僧問著:『甚麼物恁麼來?』他即挺身向前請和尚鑒,J35nB342_p0790c17或豎一拳、或展一掌、或拂袖便行,如斯鹵莽,怎能相J35nB342_p0790c18契?你看他古人參則真參、悟則實悟,靠個話頭六載J35nB342_p0790c19之久,心地開朗,出言吐語有甚縫鏬?只緩緩低對道:J35nB342_p0790c20『說似一物即不中。』六祖又復驗云:『還假修證否?』若是J35nB342_p0790c21而今禪者,便道:『不假修證。』或喝一喝,云:『猶有者箇在。』J35nB342_p0790c22發虛不少。你看他讓祖是諦當悟證有底蘊的人,只J35nB342_p0790c23答道:『修證即不無,染污即不得。』若是悟證不諦當,怎J35nB342_p0790c24能如此?即今禪者就此爐錘正好用力,求個實在諦J35nB342_p0790c25當證悟處,不得以太平無事為安樂,纔有安樂之念J35nB342_p0790c26便成染污。切忌!切忌!」下座。
J35nB342_p0790c27大空師請上堂。問:「六祖得脫獵網,尚登毘尼,因甚丹J35nB342_p0790c28霞掩耳而去?」師云:「𥳽箕有唇。」進云:「高沙彌拂袖,未審J35nB342_p0790c29不肯阿誰?」師云:「貓兒尾後繫研槌。」乃云:「芭蕉道:『你有J35nB342_p0790c30拄杖子,我與你拄杖子;你無拄杖子,我奪卻你拄杖J35nB342_p0791a01子。』老僧始觀如湧泉,得相續心;漸次觀如長江,得流J35nB342_p0791a02注心;而今老僧究竟看來,如大海一樣,得飽滿心。恁J35nB342_p0791a03麼舉揚與諸方評唱,如堰鼠飲河,無過滿腹而已。」乃J35nB342_p0791a04左右顧視,云:「汝等諸人作麼生會?」
J35nB342_p0791a05進斯請上堂。以拂子召進斯,云:「汝昨日請老僧今朝J35nB342_p0791a06為汝說法,與汝說父母未生前底法,彼自無瘡,勿傷J35nB342_p0791a07之也;與汝說父母生後法,六根具足,欠少甚麼?不免J35nB342_p0791a08舉則現成公案,暫留大眾觀聽。昔迦葉問阿難:『世尊J35nB342_p0791a09在日嘗道:「一言一句該括三十七品無邊法義。」何者J35nB342_p0791a10是?』阿難云:『諸惡莫作,眾善奉行,自淨其意,是諸佛教。』J35nB342_p0791a11汝還會麼?此四句,三歲孩兒也道得,八十翁翁行不J35nB342_p0791a12得。諸惡莫作,十重四十八輕也;眾善奉行,三十心十J35nB342_p0791a13地也。如是莫作、如是奉行,自淨其意,可以自利;如是J35nB342_p0791a14莫作、如是奉行,是諸佛教,可以利人。雖然如是,不及J35nB342_p0791a15水潦參馬祖,祖一蹋,潦蹶起,云:『百千法門、無量玅義,J35nB342_p0791a16今向一毛頭上識得根源去。』猶較些子。」以拂子擊一J35nB342_p0791a17下,云:「截斷葛藤。」
J35nB342_p0791a18總府陳公子發賢、工部陳公子光哲,叔姪脫白,請上J35nB342_p0791a19堂。「曾將名字寄吾廬,八載形同事不虛。賢母倚門而J35nB342_p0791a20日望,待親一杖墮金魚。綠袍頻換紫袈裟,記得靈山J35nB342_p0791a21咐囑麼?祖禰蜀燕添五福,兒孫南北益三多。」
J35nB342_p0791a22上堂。召斷冰師及葉、侯、余三人近前,云:「爾等乍來,即J35nB342_p0791a23請老僧開示,老僧默然。知賓道:『乞和尚開甘露門,利J35nB342_p0791a24濟群品。』老僧便笑。今又請老僧陞于此座,為爾等說J35nB342_p0791a25法,老僧點頭。如是一默、一笑、一點頭,已是葛藤不少,J35nB342_p0791a26那堪搖拽舌頭,更忉忉怛怛也耶?雖然如是,汝當善J35nB342_p0791a27聽:利濟群品不易,開甘露門實難。何謂甘露?有世間J35nB342_p0791a28甘露、有出世間甘露。何謂世間甘露?墻壁瓦礫、日月J35nB342_p0791a29星辰、山河草木,眼之甘露也;鐘鈴鑼鼓、歌舞技唱,耳J35nB342_p0791a30之甘露也;栴檀沉水,鼻之甘露也;酸鹹苦澀,舌之甘J35nB342_p0791b01露也;冷煖觕細,身之甘露也;思量分別,意之甘露也。J35nB342_p0791b02此是世間甘露也。何謂出世間甘露?照破諸色皆空,J35nB342_p0791b03眼之甘露也;返聞聞性,耳之甘露也;離出入息,鼻之J35nB342_p0791b04甘露也;緘默寡言,舌之甘露也;恒寂不動,身之甘露J35nB342_p0791b05也;言思道斷,意之甘露也。此出世間甘露也。若門則J35nB342_p0791b06應不言,而喻亦有說焉。《法華》云:『惟此一門,而復陜小。』J35nB342_p0791b07祖師道:『入此門來,不存軌則。』《楞嚴》云:『十方薄伽梵,一J35nB342_p0791b08路涅槃門。』水潦道:『一毛頭上,百千法門。』如是等門,若J35nB342_p0791b09於此會得,就如樊噲之踏鴻門;若于此不會,則仍舊J35nB342_p0791b10鄭州出曹門。老僧不是一說便了,直要汝等諸人各J35nB342_p0791b11自努力。」便下座。
J35nB342_p0791b12副臺蔣元魁母難,請上堂。顧左右,以拂子打圓相,召J35nB342_p0791b13眾,云:「會麼?此乃蔣護法請啟也。且道:啟中說個甚麼?J35nB342_p0791b14他道:『莫問當年金犢,聊為此際趙州。』此不是山僧為J35nB342_p0791b15蔣護法說法,反是蔣護法為山僧等說法也。只如金J35nB342_p0791b16牛飯,汝等諸人作麼生喫?趙州茶,汝等諸人作麼生J35nB342_p0791b17飲?忽有人出來道:『喫已喫了,飲已飲了。』饒汝喫了飲J35nB342_p0791b18了,更要汝吐出始得。還會麼?上上之人舉起知有,中J35nB342_p0791b19下之流未免心頭茫昧,到者裡只好與汝等說箇譬J35nB342_p0791b20喻。此事如人學射,未慣習之時,高一箭、卑一箭,左一J35nB342_p0791b21箭、右一箭,前一箭、後一箭,千箭、萬箭總射不上;及乎J35nB342_p0791b22慣習之久,一箭中上紅心,高、卑,左、右,上、下,前、後,就如J35nB342_p0791b23射大地一般,無有中不著者。且道:驗在于何?驗在慣J35nB342_p0791b24習之久。今日蔣護法久習已熟,有穿楊貫虱之巧,一J35nB342_p0791b25箭射到華巖,正中三世諸佛圓光之中,佛也射著、祖J35nB342_p0791b26也射著、老僧也射著、大眾也射著,就如射虛空一般,J35nB342_p0791b27無有射不著者。因此,一箭之後,前箭、後箭相續不斷,J35nB342_p0791b28只教他三世先靈咸超覺岸、現前檀越益壽延年,無J35nB342_p0791b29有窮盡,永為法門金湯。」復顧左右,云:「只如老僧和汝J35nB342_p0791b30諸人覿體承當,袒胸受箭一句作麼生道?」以拂子自J35nB342_p0791c01點胸,云:「接饑枝上垂金果,消渴泉中湧碧流。」放下拂J35nB342_p0791c02子,下座。
J35nB342_p0791c03春日,上堂。「萬山林木森而高,一道嶮巇曲且遙。櫱筆J35nB342_p0791c04柁桃華正茂,看來無地著塵囂。」
J35nB342_p0791c05解制,上堂。「華巖者裡一冬三箇月,牧得一群水牯牛,J35nB342_p0791c06水草雖不甚調勻,卻也頭正尾正。」驀以拂子打圓相,J35nB342_p0791c07復劃破,云:「今日為他八字打開。」又以拂子作鞭撻勢,J35nB342_p0791c08云:「叱,叱!一齊趁出,只是不得犯人苗稼。若是犯人苗J35nB342_p0791c09稼,鼻孔上被人穿上一條芒繩不得自由,莫怪老僧J35nB342_p0791c10今日不與你門說破。」喝一喝。
J35nB342_p0791c11癸亥冬結制,上堂。「紅爐云何施設?為煆鈍鐵頑鋼。倘J35nB342_p0791c12有躍冶之金,不妨就中𨁝跳。有麼?有麼?」問:「華岩堂上J35nB342_p0791c13大彰旗鼓,雲集四來,最初一句作麼生露布?」師云:「莫J35nB342_p0791c14浪聞。」進云:「學人無耳,聞個甚麼?」師云:「相隨來也。」問:「解J35nB342_p0791c15撾塗毒鼓,能舞太阿鋒。且道:阿誰境界?」師云:「是無面J35nB342_p0791c16目人境界。」進云:「無面目有何境界?」師云:「喪卻窮性命。」J35nB342_p0791c17乃舉:「趙州訪一菴主,問:『有麼?有麼?』主豎起拳。州云:『水J35nB342_p0791c18淺不是泊船處。』又訪一菴主,問:『有麼?有麼?』主亦豎起J35nB342_p0791c19拳。州云:『能縱能奪,能煞能活。』便禮拜。」師云:「有著前菴J35nB342_p0791c20主豎拳,云:『突出難辨。』著後菴主豎拳,云:『好本多同。』因J35nB342_p0791c21何趙州肯一箇?不肯一箇?著云:『舌頭還在趙州口裏,J35nB342_p0791c22只要磨稜合縫便了也。』與此個事有何交涉?正所謂J35nB342_p0791c23醍醐上味,為世所珍,遇斯等人,翻成毒藥。只須努力J35nB342_p0791c24體取好,審實悟證,自在可期。」
J35nB342_p0791c25光銳請上堂。舉:「『德山拓缽上法堂。』富嫌千口少。『雪峰J35nB342_p0791c26晒飯巾次,云:「者老漢!鐘未響,鼓未鳴,拓缽向甚麼處J35nB342_p0791c27去?」』獅子窟中無異獸。『德山便歸方丈。』貧憾一身多。『峰J35nB342_p0791c28舉似岩頭,頭云:「者老漢未會末後句在。」』旃檀林中豈J35nB342_p0791c29有雜草?『山使人喚頭至,云:「你不肯老僧那?」頭密啟其J35nB342_p0791c30意。』父為子隱,子為父隱。『山次日上堂,果與往不同。』雲J35nB342_p0792a01遍虛空蓋覆不著。『頭撫掌,云:「雖然如是,也秪得三年J35nB342_p0792a02活。」』家富小兒驕。」遂顧左右,云:「老僧恁麼批判,還穩當J35nB342_p0792a03也未?」良久,云:「老僧只管鑽龜打瓦,一任諸方貶剝。」
J35nB342_p0792a04長至,上堂。問:「今朝冬至節,拈香祝聖朝。未審太平時J35nB342_p0792a05主人在甚麼處?」師云:「深宮裏。」進云:「怪得六臣班不序,J35nB342_p0792a06無路奉聖顏也。」師云:「古殿苔封。」進云:「如斯則化日初J35nB342_p0792a07長,咸增意氣。」師云:「但得皇風成一片,不知何處是封J35nB342_p0792a08疆?」乃驀顧左右,云:「大眾!不解慈明貼榜文,不作洞山J35nB342_p0792a09徹果桌。」遂拈香,插入爐中,云:「只拈一片老枯檀,奉祝J35nB342_p0792a10當今多壽福。」
J35nB342_p0792a11玄度大師請上堂。「老僧若作藥山、維摩,靜寂寂的不J35nB342_p0792a12吐一辭,卻墮在嘿裏;若作雪竇、石門,絮絮叨叨水漉J35nB342_p0792a13漉的,又墮在語裏。不墮嘿、不墮語,如何相為?」乃摑口J35nB342_p0792a14一下,云:「口是禍門。」
J35nB342_p0792a15上堂。舉:「鹽官上堂。云:『虛空為鼓,須彌為槌,甚麼人打J35nB342_p0792a16得?』眾無對。後有僧舉似南泉,泉云:『王老師不打者破J35nB342_p0792a17鼓。』法眼別云:『但道不打,自然是破鼓。』應菴華祖云:『南J35nB342_p0792a18泉撥亂飛灰,法眼埋兵掉鬥,更無一人性燥下得一J35nB342_p0792a19槌。』乃顧左右云:『漆桶參堂去。』」師云:「南泉打破鼓,法眼J35nB342_p0792a20補破鼓,華祖性燥下得一槌,又何嘗打著?爭如今日J35nB342_p0792a21悉知上座下者一槌,使得老僧與汝諸人就如虎丘J35nB342_p0792a22弔桶,一齊都到食堂裡,看觀世音將錢來買餬餅,放J35nB342_p0792a23下手卻原來是饅頭。」遂以拂子打一圓相,云:「者是虛J35nB342_p0792a24空鼓。」於中著一點,云:「者是須彌槌。」顧左右,云:「還有麼?J35nB342_p0792a25試再打看。」
J35nB342_p0792a26上堂。「昨日,大器師同知賓上方丈,云:『明日某甲薄設J35nB342_p0792a27粗齋,懇請和尚登臨華座,垂示法語,利益眾生。』老僧J35nB342_p0792a28彼時嘿然。至晚,大器同維那領眾持啟,重重懇請,老J35nB342_p0792a29僧亦默然。世尊掩室于摩竭、淨名杜口于毘耶、達磨J35nB342_p0792a30面壁冷坐九年、藥山陞堂不吐一字,華岩兩次嘿然,J35nB342_p0792b01還有契分也無?若有契分,何勞今日再鼓兩片皮,水J35nB342_p0792b02漉漉的作甚?若無契分,好聽註▆。」舉:「雪峰問德山:『從J35nB342_p0792b03上宗乘,某甲還有分也無?』德山便打,云:『道甚麼?』峰云:J35nB342_p0792b04『不會。』明日請益,山云:『我宗無語句,亦無一法與人。』峰J35nB342_p0792b05于言下大悟。」師云:「老僧昨日恁麼嘿、今日恁麼舉,并J35nB342_p0792b06不曾吐露一詞。汝等諸人悟與不悟且置,且道:還有J35nB342_p0792b07利益也無?聽取一頌:師子教兒不用別,教兒一味迷J35nB342_p0792b08蹤訣。師兒反躑解翻身,總是恰時而應節。」喝一喝,下J35nB342_p0792b09座。
J35nB342_p0792b10行能薦親,請上堂。問:「文殊為七佛之師,因甚出女子J35nB342_p0792b11定不得?」師云:「如水益深。」進云:「下界罔明,因甚卻出女J35nB342_p0792b12子定得?」師云:「如火益熱。」僧禮拜,師云:「切。」乃云:「虛空尺J35nB342_p0792b13量風線繫,肩擔父母把空行。父母未生恒著念,四行J35nB342_p0792b14能公能不能?」以拂子擊几案兩下。
J35nB342_p0792b15重慶鎮左都督王差官偕楚成上人請上堂。「地僻山J35nB342_p0792b16荒野逕遙,何緣專使屢勞勞?爍然明德光如日,幾度J35nB342_p0792b17分暉暖我曹。」遂合掌,云:「願護法王公多福。」便下座。
J35nB342_p0792b18新戒請上堂。「眼不著沙,山河大地向甚處著而云眼J35nB342_p0792b19戒于色?耳不著滴,瀑布潺湲向何處著而云耳戒于J35nB342_p0792b20聲?乃至意不著思,三世十方向甚處著而云意戒于J35nB342_p0792b21法?眼不動不搖、耳不動不搖,乃至意不動不搖、色不J35nB342_p0792b22動不搖、聲不動不搖,乃至法不動不搖,恁麼如水投J35nB342_p0792b23水、似空合空,即不無此個不動不搖底,畢竟有甚奇J35nB342_p0792b24特?」拋下拂子,云:「唯此一事實,餘二則非真。」
J35nB342_p0792b25解制,楊繼芳請上堂。問:「約束布袋時如何?」師云:「放開J35nB342_p0792b26好。」進云:「解開布袋時如何?」師云:「出頭天外看,誰是我J35nB342_p0792b27般人?」進云:「還許觀山翫水、踏月穿雲麼?」師云:「莫亂走。」J35nB342_p0792b28進云:「恁麼則隨緣體會,任運無憂去也。」師云:「你不得J35nB342_p0792b29做矮人觀場。」問:「不求法脫、不被法縛,是甚麼人境界?」J35nB342_p0792b30師云:「怪得灑灑落落底。」進云:「結制時不減一物,解制J35nB342_p0792c01時不增一物。結底是?解底是?」師云:「瑕生也。」進云:「解制J35nB342_p0792c02後還有為人處也無?」師云:「有。」進云:「畢竟以何法為人?」J35nB342_p0792c03師云:「善為道路。」良久,乃云:「不縛不脫,灑灑落落;不增J35nB342_p0792c04不減,瑕生照膽。為人一句,善為道路。」喝一喝。
J35nB342_p0792c05上乘知事為陳資進父子披剃,請上堂。「天命離塵老J35nB342_p0792c06不老,叱烏脫俗小非小,但能識得鞭羊法,那畔今時J35nB342_p0792c07咸恰好。如何是鞭羊法?扁擔作笏。」
J35nB342_p0792c08載升薦師,請上堂。作此○,云:「天人群生類,皆承此恩J35nB342_p0792c09力。且道:何者是靈源恩力?載升、錫飛二上座承來底,J35nB342_p0792c10慧耳上人承來底。」復劃破云:「承來底是甚麼?我見燈J35nB342_p0792c11明佛,本光瑞如此。」
