J34nB311_p0604a07鄧大超居士問:「雲從龍,風從虎,聖人作,萬物睹。正當J34nB311_p0604a08物睹時如何?」師展兩手示云:「會麼?」進云:「師行芳草裏,J34nB311_p0604a09我又入深村。」師以手畫圓相,云:「是甚麼?」進云:「家住海J34nB311_p0604a10門東,扶桑最先照。」師云:「紅爐片雪飛,須是眉毛見。」進J34nB311_p0604a11云:「夜半負趨誰有力?秪許空王獨自知。」師云:「退步著。」J34nB311_p0604a12士禮拜。饒大齊居士問:「如何是直指人心、見性成佛J34nB311_p0604a13之旨?」師云:「腳跟下分明看取。」進云:「是法住法位,世間J34nB311_p0604a14常相住時如何?」師云:「頂門別有路通霄。」進云:「秪今當J34nB311_p0604a15如何進步?」師云:「直須徹底無私始得。」士禮拜,師云:「向J34nB311_p0604a16上一路,千聖不傳,木雞啼子夜,芻狗吠天明;向上一J34nB311_p0604a17路,千聖不然,石人衫子破,大地沒人縫。且道:我佛為J34nB311_p0604a18甚纔出摩耶母腹,便乃指天指地周行七步?將謂是J34nB311_p0604a19腳跟下?是頂門上耶?大抵還他肌骨好,排場搬演自J34nB311_p0604a20風流。秪如今日饒大齊居士請山僧陞座舉揚,并求J34nB311_p0604a21授菩薩大戒,可謂塵勞之儔為如來種也。且作麼生J34nB311_p0604a22舉揚聻?」良久,云:「龍袖拂開全體現,指天指地不徒然。」J34nB311_p0604a23下座。
庚辰秋,臨川宰陶弘持、景陵譚擬陶,偕本邑湯季J34nB311_p0604a25雲諸公、天寧監寺大通設供請上堂
J34nB311_p0604a26師陞座,宗侍者問:「黃檗道:『大唐國裏無禪師。』秪如今J34nB311_p0604a27日臨川諸縉紳居士請和尚於天寧古剎陞座,又作J34nB311_p0604a28麼生?」師云:「一箭透九關。」進云:「和尚也須照顧。傍有不J34nB311_p0604a29肯者。」師云:「痛棒頂門敲。」進云:「恁麼則擊碎虛空,通身J34nB311_p0604a30手眼。」師云:「活中有路孰能行?」進云:「幾度扣門呼不應,J34nB311_p0604b01翻身直入裏頭看。」師云:「放過即不可。」便打。者禮拜,云:J34nB311_p0604b02「作家,作家。」雙炯問:「龍吟霧起,虎嘯風生,和尚重振荷J34nB311_p0604b03玉宗風,斬新條令一句作麼生?」師云:「秋水斷橋橫。」進J34nB311_p0604b04云:「瞿曇無說,迦葉無聞,和尚又作麼生?」師云:「扁舟空J34nB311_p0604b05載月。」進云:「滿筵龍象,師還辯得也無?」師云:「杖頭有眼J34nB311_p0604b06光如電。」進云:「恁麼則學人蹴踏毘盧頂𩕳去也。」師云:J34nB311_p0604b07「露柱堂堂笑殺人。」徹凡問:「古人云:『天得一以清,地得J34nB311_p0604b08一以寧。』今日天寧諸公請和尚說法,且道如何是向J34nB311_p0604b09上法?」師云:「清波無透路。」進云:「和尚也須珍重。」師云:「拔J34nB311_p0604b10劍攪龍門。」進云:「恁麼則太阿藏匣去也。」師云:「喪身失J34nB311_p0604b11命。」僧歸眾,師确如意,云:「會麼?天寧法窟涼來久,荷玉J34nB311_p0604b12風吹樹未休,今日圓通重振作,喜看明月正當秋。諸J34nB311_p0604b13仁者!古之天地日月即今之天地日月曾無變異,今J34nB311_p0604b14之山河人物與古之山河人物屢多改遷,秪如遮多J34nB311_p0604b15改遷底與無變異底還有同別也無?若向遮裏薦得,J34nB311_p0604b16說甚天地與我同根、萬物與我一體?其或未然,則異J34nB311_p0604b17端互相隱怪,百姓茫無所知,又安能向其中透徹他J34nB311_p0604b18古今同異去?不見唐時曹山本寂禪師親受洞山良J34nB311_p0604b19价和尚寶鏡三昧宗旨,一日辭去,洞問:『子向甚處去?』J34nB311_p0604b20曹曰:『不變異處去。』洞曰:『不變異處豈有去耶?』曹曰:『去J34nB311_p0604b21亦不變異。』諸仁者!秪遮去亦不變異,透徹雲巖,秪遮J34nB311_p0604b22是與渠我交參之旨,所以建立君臣正偏五位之宗,J34nB311_p0604b23縱橫三墮一念無私,透過三無滲漏,以大闡洞上宗J34nB311_p0604b24風而開古今之心眼也。且道:重重錦縫,文彩奇微,遮J34nB311_p0604b25箇金針玉線是誰拈得聻?今日圓通到此,臨川、天寧J34nB311_p0604b26諸公請山僧陞堂,重振曹山本寂家風。山僧是自家J34nB311_p0604b27屋裏人,不妨重重拈出,秪要求箇明眼底人透出生J34nB311_p0604b28死牢關,全提向上機用,其中還有不被天下人瞞底J34nB311_p0604b29麼?」復打圓相,云:「看看,向遮裏透徹牢關去,彩鳳衝開J34nB311_p0604b30霄漢碧,光昭海嶽盡文明。珍重。」下座。
癸未,司禮車喬高張諸大護法設供,請于靈谷J34nB311_p0604c02結制上堂
J34nB311_p0604c03師指法座,云:「巍巍堂堂,正位中央,面南而看北斗,西J34nB311_p0604c04成而震東方,欲祝聖明無量壽,須登此座寶華王。」即J34nB311_p0604c05陞座,拈香,云:「此一瓣香,根盤空劫之前,葉布大千之J34nB311_p0604c06外,七鬯主位育以無私,赫濯亙古今而永久,專奉為J34nB311_p0604c07二祖列宗、當今皇帝,伏願在天之靈齊佛之位,御金J34nB311_p0604c08輪而成正覺,統法界以證莊嚴,兼願滿朝文武共秉J34nB311_p0604c09忠貞,一統八荒,同遵治化,干戈底定,禮樂振興,時雨J34nB311_p0604c10光風,登三咸五,諸公見在,儼然不忘靈山付囑,作人J34nB311_p0604c11天之柱石,為佛祖之金湯。此一瓣香,劫火光中迸出,J34nB311_p0604c12黃龍峰上拈來,端為供養江西壽昌師翁慧經老和J34nB311_p0604c13尚、建州東苑本師元鏡老和尚,用酬法乳之恩,伏惟J34nB311_p0604c14大眾各生珍重。」師就座,維那白椎,云:「法筵龍象眾,當J34nB311_p0604c15觀第一義。」監院容源問:「蔣山虛席已多年,今日吾師J34nB311_p0604c16重布宣,豎拂拈鎚即不問,太平一曲若為傳?」師云:「紫J34nB311_p0604c17金山上撞金鐘。」進云:「恁麼則寒松一色千年別,埜老J34nB311_p0604c18拈花萬國春。」師云:「合掌山門禮至尊。」進云:「木馬嘶風J34nB311_p0604c19雲布彩,泥牛吼月水波生。」師云:「偏是詐明人弄影。」僧J34nB311_p0604c20禮拜,喝一喝,師云:「莫鹵莽。」維那禮拜,起便喝,師云:「紅J34nB311_p0604c21爐飛片雪。」進云:「大地起波濤。」師云:「闍黎在何處安身J34nB311_p0604c22立命?」進云:「和尚還見學人也未?」師云:「你須仔細。」進云:J34nB311_p0604c23「翻身擊碎黃金鎖,露出山河一片青。」師云:「好生禮拜。」J34nB311_p0604c24進云:「謝和尚答話。」便禮拜。印明問:「三百年重興佛事,J34nB311_p0604c25此日大闡宗風,如何是和尚為人處?」師云:「個個頂門J34nB311_p0604c26著一鎚。」進云:「還有不入爐鞴者麼?」師云:「腳跟好與三J34nB311_p0604c27十棒。」進云:「且喜高低嶽瀆齊稱賀,萬象森羅拱手歸。」J34nB311_p0604c28師云:「且看令行時。」僧禮拜。又僧問:「學人不服諸方胡J34nB311_p0604c29棒亂喝,喜今日親覲,和尚作麼生接引?」師云:「家家有J34nB311_p0604c30路通車馬。」進云:「老人真手眼。」師云:「見個甚麼道理?」僧J34nB311_p0605a01禮拜。又僧問:「向上一路,諸祖不傳,和尚登寶誌公座J34nB311_p0605a02傳個甚麼?」師云:「誌公不是閒和尚。」進云:「誌公三百年J34nB311_p0605a03外有一句說不到底佛法,請和尚舉。」師云:「何不當央J34nB311_p0605a04識浪公?」進云:「百花全仗春風力,果熟香飄事若何?」師J34nB311_p0605a05云:「捏得怪來無用處。」僧便喝,師云:「不必,不必。」僧禮拜,J34nB311_p0605a06師曰:「果然,果然。」師以如意打圓相,云:「靈麼!千聖頂𩕳上J34nB311_p0605a07建法幢、立宗旨,方能振佛祖不傳之真機;威音王那J34nB311_p0605a08邊旋天關、轉地軸,始可提聖凡無犯之正令。至於入J34nB311_p0605a09廛垂手、臨難救人,卻如大醫王治脈調元,唯扶血氣J34nB311_p0605a10而延年壽;又如大將軍伐謀致勝,不動干戈而見太J34nB311_p0605a11平。我為法王,於法自在,何有世間出世間、生殺定亂J34nB311_p0605a12而不繇於神妙先著哉?且道承誰恩力聻?諸公還見J34nB311_p0605a13太祖高皇帝遺下千古不易之公案麼?定鼎之初,即J34nB311_p0605a14于金陵敕建大靈谷寺,為天下第一禪林。及建諸大J34nB311_p0605a15梵剎,詔請禪、講、律、論、淨觀諸大沙門而主其教,是以J34nB311_p0605a16天下英奇各相求而成志,古今道術總殊途而同歸,J34nB311_p0605a17蓋深知佛氏之學誠有以陰翼王度之不逮也。嗣是J34nB311_p0605a18成祖列宗歷世相承,崇奉不替,法久成弊,內外難生。J34nB311_p0605a19皇上御極以來,無日不焦勞求治,求之不已,乃感九J34nB311_p0605a20蓮聖母陰俾皇五子啟迪聖心,紹隆佛法,萃祖宗未J34nB311_p0605a21渙之精神,集國家永興之祥瑞,於是天下臣民益自J34nB311_p0605a22知身心性命之道為天下國家之根本也。使世間人J34nB311_p0605a23皆知此身心性命為重,則何有名位勢利、爭奪殺害J34nB311_p0605a24以壞天下國家之大經大法哉?況三百年來養天下J34nB311_p0605a25臣民,豈無忠臣烈士一旦奮發,展生平經濟,為國驅J34nB311_p0605a26除戮力者乎?三百年來養天下僧道,豈無真僧高道J34nB311_p0605a27一旦奮發,展生平機用,為國說法破迷者乎?山僧何J34nB311_p0605a28幸得遇金陵諸大護法及諸法侶,目擊時危,心傷類J34nB311_p0605a29慘,人人有忠孝之心,個個求佛祖之力,延山僧登此J34nB311_p0605a30大靈谷三百年虛席之座,舉揚直指人心、見性成佛J34nB311_p0605b01之旨,以銷此鋒鏑慘殺,還彼本來平正之心,庶使赤J34nB311_p0605b02符靈應,有臣有僧,能不負洪永建剎之意,以佛法能J34nB311_p0605b03陰翼王度之語非虛誑也。即世間人家庭有難、父母J34nB311_p0605b04有災,為人子者不勝泣血籲天、求醫割股,凡有可以J34nB311_p0605b05解危救命,雖肝腦塗地無不為也。今山僧身受君父J34nB311_p0605b06之恩,深恨未全道力,不能如康僧會求舍利於空中、J34nB311_p0605b07不能如寶誌公懸剪鏡於象外、不能如金碧峰現神J34nB311_p0605b08變于國初,第此一念痛心為法為國,深歷刀兵水火J34nB311_p0605b09之中,不啻嘗啼大士賣心肝以求般若於天下也。此J34nB311_p0605b10中般若如何可求聻?祗是人心正則天地之心亦正、J34nB311_p0605b11人氣平則天地之氣亦平,但求此正平之心見在一J34nB311_p0605b12念靈明,不可自昧、不可自欺底參而證之、擴而充之,J34nB311_p0605b13則格致誠正、修齊治平即在是,而施戒忍進、定慧機J34nB311_p0605b14用亦在是,諸忠孝直下便好參證,擴克此正平之心J34nB311_p0605b15以祝聖明,則萬壽無疆。以此推文武,則天下協和;以J34nB311_p0605b16此及萬民,則天下太平。豈非盡世界享此甘露缾,亙J34nB311_p0605b17古今不逃大圓寶鏡哉?秪如今日特地舉揚護國,又作J34nB311_p0605b18麼生收場耶?萬代金輪全妙密,不彰寶印定乾坤。」維J34nB311_p0605b19那結椎,下座。
天界寺三方丈禪堂,暨耆宿無蘊、大休、一味、崇J34nB311_p0605b21麓、澄心、善權、得一、若無諸法侶,設供請上堂
J34nB311_p0605b22師擊如意,云:「一真印現,大法門開,超日月之光華,透J34nB311_p0605b23乾坤之秘密,萬化不能逃其性,群機無所遁其情。蓋J34nB311_p0605b24善逝世間之有主,則玅盡身心性命之無虧也。故我J34nB311_p0605b25太祖高皇帝統百王之至治,集三教之大乘,以如來J34nB311_p0605b26萬德十號而敕建天界禪寺為善世法門,豈非會盡J34nB311_p0605b27千聖之真宗,以致天下之太平乎?議者以佛之戒律J34nB311_p0605b28足以弼世,為不治不亂;佛之禪定足以正身,為不言J34nB311_p0605b29而信;佛之智慧足以正心,為不化自行。所以,三即一,J34nB311_p0605b30一即三,神而明之,存乎其人。此蓋吾震旦孔子稱贊J34nB311_p0605c01吾佛西方大聖人之意也。秪如吾祖宗門下如鸞鳳J34nB311_p0605c02沖霄,其誰能睹光彩?如羚羊挂角,何處能覓蹤繇?正J34nB311_p0605c03當覿面全提,即三世諸佛不敢正眼覷著,覷著則瞎J34nB311_p0605c04卻渠眼;歷代祖師不敢赤體承當,承當則殃及兒孫。J34nB311_p0605c05直得海底塵生,山頭浪起,木人拍掌,石女謳歌,庶幾J34nB311_p0605c06通得箇太平消息。諸法侶!還見昔日天界宗泐禪師J34nB311_p0605c07初參天竺廣智和尚,智問:『國師三呼,侍者三應,意作J34nB311_p0605c08麼生?』泐曰:『何得好肉刲瘡?』智曰:『將謂你有甚奇特,元J34nB311_p0605c09來無所得也。』泐便喝,智擬棒,泐拂袖而出。於是,頓見J34nB311_p0605c10秘密法門,而後大闡宗風,以助無為之化。此非千古J34nB311_p0605c11之大奇特哉?古即今也,今即古也,如今善世諸法侶J34nB311_p0605c12英材拔萃,不讓當仁,拶入此宗,其誰能敵?特來設供,J34nB311_p0605c13請我舉揚宗旨。畢竟作麼生是相為處?」乃呼云:「諸法J34nB311_p0605c14侶!會麼?撥轉上頭關捩子,大千法界現全機。」下座。
桐城吳雪崖農部、張坤安兵憲暨吳聖脩、吳豹J34nB311_p0605c16文、吳敬伯諸居士及法侶九一設供請上堂
J34nB311_p0605c17師陞座,僧問:「法王正令,師已全提,某甲今日無問,請J34nB311_p0605c18師不答。」師云:「千峰頂上起清風。」進云:「且喜和尚現大J34nB311_p0605c19人相。」師云:「十字街頭石人舞。」進云:「恁麼則禮拜去也。」J34nB311_p0605c20師乃云:「向上全提,十方坐斷,施大機用,展殺活鋒,始J34nB311_p0605c21能掃清魔外,定奪聖凡,變大地作黃金,攪長河為酥J34nB311_p0605c22酪。且道秘密關鍵是甚麼人纔通得?昔玅喜和尚說J34nB311_p0605c23法于徑山,張子韶侍郎與馮濟川給事諸公議格物,J34nB311_p0605c24玅喜曰:『公秪知格物,而不知有物格。』子韶茫然,妙喜J34nB311_p0605c25大笑,子韶曰:『師能開諭乎?』玅喜曰:『公見小說載唐人J34nB311_p0605c26有與安祿山謀叛者,其人先為閬守,有畫像存焉。明J34nB311_p0605c27皇幸蜀見之,怒令侍臣以劍擊像首,時閬守居陝西,J34nB311_p0605c28首忽墮地。』子韶聞之,頓領深旨,題不動軒壁曰:『子韶J34nB311_p0605c29格物,妙喜物格,欲識一貫,兩個五百。』喜乃許可之。諸J34nB311_p0605c30仁者!還通得遮個消息麼?若向遮裏透得,不妨一賽J34nB311_p0606a01兩彩;其或未然,山僧打葛藤去也。物是何物?格是誰J34nB311_p0606a02格?二公秪知有物有格,而不知無物無格,如明皇當J34nB311_p0606a03時秪見閬守為冤對,更不知此是畫像,而人且在千J34nB311_p0606a04里,若謂必能斬其像首,則祿山亦可以畫像而擊之J34nB311_p0606a05矣,又安能以不思議之神力擊其冤對之首乎?不見J34nB311_p0606a06耿恭拜井而湧泉、李廣射虎而入石、王祥臥冰而得J34nB311_p0606a07鯉、商丘奪錦于火中,此蓋以一念忠孝誠信之心所J34nB311_p0606a08成也。使彼當時有知識道理、生死利害之想,則自心J34nB311_p0606a09已陷於物累,又何足以感格天地哉?昔山僧閉關時,J34nB311_p0606a10有奇禍驟至,建州柯賓明居士乃寄偈云:『釋迦牟尼J34nB311_p0606a11佛,歌利割截身,一刀斷不斷,能忍是真心。』山僧答云:J34nB311_p0606a12『欲截牟尼體,揮刀斬太虛,本來非幻化,能忍者遭誅。』J34nB311_p0606a13居士見之大驚曰:『我以能忍為真心,而浪公以能忍J34nB311_p0606a14為生死根本,吾令乃知悟道人了生死在先、了能所J34nB311_p0606a15之心矣。』諸公皆鼎鉉重器、忠孝天成,尤能會世、出世J34nB311_p0606a16為不二法,方今天下多難,能為朝廷扶其元氣,即此J34nB311_p0606a17至誠足以感格天地矣,又何內外殺亂不化為清平J34nB311_p0606a18哉?雖然,山僧又作麼生振起全機聻?宗風吹醒乾坤J34nB311_p0606a19夢,佛日昭回聖主心。」下座。
博山碧潭、遠覺、雪琪、一如、靜休、默觀諸上座請J34nB311_p0606a21上堂
J34nB311_p0606a22約素問:「色身不入,法身不住,畢竟在何處安身立命?」J34nB311_p0606a23師云:「大眾眼睛在你舌頭上。」進云:「謝和尚慈悲,畢竟J34nB311_p0606a24作麼生會?」師云:「你底舌頭在大眾眼睛裏。」進云:「承和J34nB311_p0606a25尚指示。」師云:「閉著眼睛看取。」素禮拜,師云:「若向上舉J34nB311_p0606a26去,直得黃頭碧眼忍氣吞聲;若向下舉去,直得白牯J34nB311_p0606a27黧奴歡天喜地;若總不與麼,卻使法堂前草深丈二、J34nB311_p0606a28土曠人稀,相逢者少;若總皆與麼,未免胡張三、黑李J34nB311_p0606a29四,分疏不下。到遮裏作麼生為人?也須是有縱有奪、J34nB311_p0606a30宜假宜真,殺人不見血痕、活人便有生意始得。不見J34nB311_p0606b01我博山先師初於此宗自視甚易,及閱船子囑夾山J34nB311_p0606b02云:『直須藏身沒蹤跡,沒蹤跡處莫藏身。吾在藥山三J34nB311_p0606b03十年始明此事。』乃大驚曰:『古人尚自如此,我何敢輕J34nB311_p0606b04視?』乃痛自苦參。久之,忽於有佛處不得住,無佛處急J34nB311_p0606b05走過語下打失布袋,趨見寶方先祖,恰如方木逗圓J34nB311_p0606b06孔,了不相入,自此再加逼拶。偶一日,見人上樹,始大J34nB311_p0606b07豁然,方能於先祖處通箇消息。然山僧曾親從祖父J34nB311_p0606b08參證過來,今於靈谷開法,汝等諸兄弟特地入山設J34nB311_p0606b09供,請我舉揚大事。且作麼生是相為處?諸兄弟既曾J34nB311_p0606b10親近博山先師,當必能參究此事,如有入處,正好出J34nB311_p0606b11眾舉似,為爾證明;其或不敢輕視,直須於祖父行履J34nB311_p0606b12處參究箇透徹。不然,狹路撞著個沒面目漢,把斷你J34nB311_p0606b13咽喉,大喝:『你速道,一口氣不來,畢究向何處去?』你到J34nB311_p0606b14遮裏,也須是有轉身吐氣始得。且道:秪今又作麼生?J34nB311_p0606b15不是冤家不聚頭,各須拔出吹毛劍。」下座。
牛首融悟、接引閣體玄、淨業堂見樸三上座,暨J34nB311_p0606b17傅仁宇、鍾弘儀、孫啟南、胡耳門諸居士請上堂
J34nB311_p0606b18師擊如意,云:「會麼?過去心不可得,萬里山河憑點墨;J34nB311_p0606b19未來心不可得,千古老鴉一樣黑;現在心不可得,天J34nB311_p0606b20上有星皆拱北。取不得,捨不得,相逢誰是知音客?雖J34nB311_p0606b21然向下文長,須看一則兩則。世尊乞食歸,空生特地J34nB311_p0606b22歎希有;德山托缽出,巖頭皮裏作陽秋。一箇感悟流J34nB311_p0606b23涕,寒谷生春;一箇撫掌呵呵,吹毛露刃。雖則是法平J34nB311_p0606b24等,無有高下,爭奈車不橫推,理無曲斷?今天下多是J34nB311_p0606b25兔馬有角、犬羊無頭,到遮裏,誰能作主得大自繇?」良J34nB311_p0606b26久,云:「有意氣時無意氣,不風流處是風流。」下座。

J34nB311_p0606b28師云:「壽昌先祖平生為人壁立萬仞,如一大好山相J34nB311_p0606b29似,即我博山、東苑二先師秪瞻仰有分。此分雖有伶J34nB311_p0606b30俐衲僧,求窺其光影不可得,故博山先師云:『山僧平J34nB311_p0606c01生得壽昌老人一箇不肯。』東苑先師亦云:『壽昌老人J34nB311_p0606c02如一箇鐵橛子相似。』所以二先師一顯一隱,各立先J34nB311_p0606c03祖家風,又非天下衲子所能造詣。山僧為他兒孫,蓋J34nB311_p0606c04親從祖父堂奧中來。去秋到天界,遇張興公居士,問J34nB311_p0606c05曰:『弟子聞古今師資授受,必親承許可,何博山和尚J34nB311_p0606c06自謂得壽昌一箇不肯,便出世為人?』山僧曰:『你知壽J34nB311_p0606c07昌不許天下衲僧,還有衲僧能如博山得壽昌一箇J34nB311_p0606c08不肯者麼?』又問:『聞和尚昔曾親見壽昌,不知得個甚J34nB311_p0606c09麼?』山僧曰:『得箇不肯。』壽昌居士乃驚愕禮拜。今山僧J34nB311_p0606c10寓靈谷,獨峰竹公先曾見,山僧因問:『公於何處曾見J34nB311_p0606c11博山先師?』竹曰:『在天界寺。』山僧曰:『何不親到博山?』竹J34nB311_p0606c12曰:『某家多病,近於獨峰住靜。』山僧震聲曰:『死水不藏J34nB311_p0606c13龍。』竹曰:『因先師今日得見和尚。』山僧曰:『見我且止,何J34nB311_p0606c14不掃先師靈塔?』竹曰:『某甲要約陳旻昭居士同往。』山J34nB311_p0606c15僧曰:『此是你本分事,何得扯他人作伴?』竹曰:『也要扯J34nB311_p0606c16他一把。』山僧曰:『是你腳跟不得力也。』竹曰:『因自無力,J34nB311_p0606c17所以扯他。』山僧曰:『敗也。』竹公今復入山,請山僧上堂。J34nB311_p0606c18山僧見其欲出世為人,恐其離師太早,未盡其妙,須J34nB311_p0606c19於人天眾前與他決擇,果於先師有得力處,一一舉J34nB311_p0606c20出與之質明;其或不然,正好如巖頭鏟削雪峰,成今J34nB311_p0606c21日之鰲山公案也。竹公出眾看。」竹出禮云:「適勞和尚J34nB311_p0606c22神用,大眾證明已竟。」師云:「你自己本分一著作麼生?」J34nB311_p0606c23竹云:「瞞和尚不得。」師云:「你當時從何處得入?」竹云:「不J34nB311_p0606c24從他得。」師云:「遮箇還是現成話,你別道一句來。」竹進J34nB311_p0606c25一步,豎兩指云:「遮裏怎瞞得和尚?」師云:「看你腳跟未J34nB311_p0606c26點地在。」竹云:「佛祖也放不過。」師云:「何處見佛祖?」竹禮J34nB311_p0606c27拜云:「謝和尚慈悲。」師云:「也須再深參始得。」下座。

J34nB311_p0607a04師禮佛,拈香畢,陞座。良久,云:「會麼?相逢不拈出,舉意J34nB311_p0607a05便知有,知有個甚麼?直下會取好。」復云:「二十七年中,J34nB311_p0607a06兩度曾到此,今還特地來,誰是舊知己?莫是吹布毛J34nB311_p0607a07底古鳥窠麼?須是會通侍者始得。莫是問佛法底白J34nB311_p0607a08侍郎麼?須是八十老翁始得。莫是重陽九日菊花新J34nB311_p0607a09麼?須是汾陽老漢始得。莫是牛頭一枝今當重於鳳J34nB311_p0607a10林橫出麼?須向杖人良久處透過,不觸不背始得。雖J34nB311_p0607a11然,今日得到鳳林,全是姚愚谷居士前年於廬山先J34nB311_p0607a12與諸公通一消息相挽,始得從金陵一路來此,以酬J34nB311_p0607a13勝願。其鴛鴦繡出,妙在金針,不落文彩,更須著眼。秪J34nB311_p0607a14如杖人既已親到,與諸公親見了也,就中還有親切J34nB311_p0607a15提持事也無?」復云:「會麼?明聖湖中龍躍起,越王臺上J34nB311_p0607a16鳳飛來。珍重!」下座。
師到龍門寺,石雨大師偕諸法侶請上堂
J34nB311_p0607a18石雨大師問云:「君臣未定,賓主未分,賓主協和,如何J34nB311_p0607a19開示?」師云:「彩霞籠玉像,個裏自分明。」進云:「秪如低處J34nB311_p0607a20低平、高處高平又作麼生?」師云:「顧鑒木▆▆,天然成J34nB311_p0607a21照用。」雨大師顧大眾云:「畢竟是遮老漢。」師云:「也須師J34nB311_p0607a22兄證明。」僧問:「佛祖近傍不得的人,未審和尚如何與J34nB311_p0607a23他相見?」師云:「腦後著雙眉。」進云:「莫遮便是相見處麼?」J34nB311_p0607a24師云:「蹉過了也。」進云:「此邦不入,彼邦不居,且道他居J34nB311_p0607a25何國土?」師云:「頂門突出。」進云:「杲日當空又作麼生?」師J34nB311_p0607a26云:「誰敢妄自瞻仰?」又僧問:「青青翠竹,片片白雲,賓主J34nB311_p0607a27相逢,合論何事?」師云:「獨許當機作者知。」進云:「龍吟鳳J34nB311_p0607a28舞是何祥瑞?」師云:「可中消息誰能會?」進云:「恁麼則月J34nB311_p0607a29色四時好,秋光君獨知。」師云:且莫閒說話。又僧問:「古J34nB311_p0607a30云:『任他風浪起,只是不開船。』不開且置,假如船至江J34nB311_p0607b01心,風浪倏起時如何?」師震聲云:「把舵人在那裏?」僧禮J34nB311_p0607b02拜,師云:「險。」進云:「但看中流橫擊楫,直教海外不揚波。」J34nB311_p0607b03師云:「須是其人始得。」乃卓拄杖云:「為訪同人度遠峰,J34nB311_p0607b04龍門聳峻賴孤笻,相逢不更傾心膽,共看浮雲弄太J34nB311_p0607b05空。諸仁者!正當浮雲弄太空時作麼生?到遮裏,縱是J34nB311_p0607b06明眼作家,誠難話會在。今日徑山特訪龍門,承堂頭J34nB311_p0607b07石雨法兄及諸禪侶深用激揚宗旨,命登此座,不免J34nB311_p0607b08客聽主裁,相席打令去也。諸仁者!還見龍門風景殊J34nB311_p0607b09特麼?蓋主人立處高巍,會同雲月谿山之同異;可中J34nB311_p0607b10嚴密,妙盡君臣偏正之尊卑。孰有門庭施設、堂奧深J34nB311_p0607b11微能過於是?以故門下英才濟濟,克紹芳規,此後大J34nB311_p0607b12法振興正未艾也,又何有浮雲之弄太空哉?雖然如J34nB311_p0607b13是,古人云:『萬里無雲,青天亦須喫棒。』今此浮雲弄空,J34nB311_p0607b14我與法兄將何處分?使彼為霖為雨去,好知淵默有J34nB311_p0607b15真龍。」
甲申仲冬,南浙諸大護法宰官,偕餘杭邑侯諸J34nB311_p0607b17鄉紳居士,及闔山耆宿大眾,請師住持徑山,入J34nB311_p0607b18院上堂
J34nB311_p0607b19師到山門,喝一喝,云:「入門須辨主,端的此中明。如何J34nB311_p0607b20是端的?全身拶入始得。」到彌勒殿,云:「大坐當軒等,阿J34nB311_p0607b21那箇特地撞著?知音我唱,須是你和。」到大殿,禮拜起,J34nB311_p0607b22指法座,云:「正令全提,當央直示。更有向上一路麼?千J34nB311_p0607b23聖不傳聻?且看新徑山長老為汝大眾通箇消息去。」J34nB311_p0607b24乃陞座,祝聖拈香訖,維那白椎竟,師以如意畫圓相,J34nB311_p0607b25云:「會麼?大圓照內,凡聖交參;雙徑峰頭,人天圍繞。到J34nB311_p0607b26遮裏文不加點,新長老秪好證明。雖然如是,也須是J34nB311_p0607b27頂門具眼、肘後懸符底人始承當得。昔唐朝本寺開J34nB311_p0607b28山法欽禪師道風聞於京師,代宗皇帝遣中使詔至J34nB311_p0607b29闕廷咨詢法要,同弟子之禮。一日,欽師見帝乃起身,J34nB311_p0607b30帝曰:『禪師如何起身?』欽師曰:『大檀越何得以四威儀J34nB311_p0607c01見貧道?』帝大悅,謂南陽忠國師曰:『朕欲賜欽禪師一J34nB311_p0607c02號。』國師欣然奉詔,賜國一焉。欽師辭歸山,帝曰:『彼地J34nB311_p0607c03眾生當得度,與此地眾生何殊?』欽師曰:『實無有一法J34nB311_p0607c04可度眾生者。』帝益深重之。」師云:「諸仁者!你看他一個J34nB311_p0607c05佛心天子,一個法眼宗師,一唱一酬,兩鏡相照,是法J34nB311_p0607c06平等,妙密圓明。山僧既膺法席,正當於黃金殿上揭J34nB311_p0607c07開日月之光華,白玉毫中指出古今之主宰,始不負J34nB311_p0607c08一人有慶,千載同風。」敲如意,云:「若於遮裏會得,是法J34nB311_p0607c09住法位,世間相常住,又何有世法、出世法,彼此先後J34nB311_p0607c10之不平等哉?秪如今日諸護法特請開堂祝聖,共致J34nB311_p0607c11太平,作麼生道?金輪迥出中天照,萬世謳歌頌聖明。」J34nB311_p0607c12結椎,下座。
結制上堂
J34nB311_p0607c14師舉:「妙喜禪師云:『金佛不度爐,木佛不度火,泥佛不J34nB311_p0607c15度水,真佛屋裏坐。趙州和尚吐心吐膽,恁麼告報也,J34nB311_p0607c16還有知恩報恩者麼?』」師云:「大小妙喜不識好惡,盡大J34nB311_p0607c17地人被趙州老漢刳了眼睛鼻孔,將個無位真人推J34nB311_p0607c18下萬丈深坑,至今求出頭不得,徑山別出隻手救拔J34nB311_p0607c19他去。且作麼生救拔他?金佛須度爐,木佛須度火,泥J34nB311_p0607c20佛須度水,真佛不許他在黑山下作鬼家活計,直教J34nB311_p0607c21他劍刃上行、火燄裏走,入生死流、闢聖凡路,顯全機J34nB311_p0607c22大用,向如意子頭上續佛慧命去。會麼?換骨洗腸重J34nB311_p0607c23整頓,通身手眼更須參。」
臘八日上堂
J34nB311_p0607c25「今日正是二千年前黃面老人在雪山於此夜觀星,J34nB311_p0607c26自謂悟道之時也,殊不知當時已打失一隻眼,直得J34nB311_p0607c27四十九年撈天摸地,無有尋處。忽於糞掃堆頭拾得J34nB311_p0607c28一個泥彈子,於靈山會上百萬眾中驀爾拈出,獨迦J34nB311_p0607c29葉不知好惡,破顏微笑,特地被渠將眼換去,卻道:『吾J34nB311_p0607c30有正法眼藏付囑於汝,勿令斷絕。』從此西天束土被J34nB311_p0608a01遮彈子換了多少人眼也。且道世尊初生時,指天指J34nB311_p0608a02地,顧視四方,稱我獨尊,是個甚麼眼?如何更到雪山J34nB311_p0608a03始稱悟道,又是甚麼眼?再至末後拈花付囑迦葉,遮J34nB311_p0608a04又是甚麼眼?如此簡點,還有同別否?遮個法眼還是J34nB311_p0608a05本有耶?本無耶?若是本有,何更分付?若是本無,雖付J34nB311_p0608a06何用?秪遮淆訛,如何辨別?須知諸佛悟處是眾生迷J34nB311_p0608a07處,眾生悟處是諸佛迷處,若向遮迷悟關頭透得過,J34nB311_p0608a08始可與佛祖為師,開人天眼,縱橫凡聖,隨類投機。雖J34nB311_p0608a09然如是,我試問諸人:眾生迷處即是諸佛悟處,人皆J34nB311_p0608a10易會,及究其眾生之所以迷、諸佛之所以悟,未免昏J34nB311_p0608a11天黑地。更問彼:眾生悟處即是諸佛迷處,眾生既悟J34nB311_p0608a12則不得為眾生,諸佛既迷則不得為諸佛矣。秪遮個J34nB311_p0608a13迷悟畢竟作麼生?此不惟未開眼者決擇不下,即有J34nB311_p0608a14已悟此事而未透末後牢關者,亦未免認影迷頭也,J34nB311_p0608a15況其餘乎?不見古人云:『須知迷中迷,悟中悟,迷中悟,J34nB311_p0608a16悟中迷。』若向遮裏一一透得過,始能勘破從上佛祖J34nB311_p0608a17敗闕,更不向從上佛祖納敗闕也。秪如今日徑山全J34nB311_p0608a18提一句又作麼生?」擊如意,云:「擊開劫外無私眼,印破J34nB311_p0608a19古今凡聖心。」
太倉惠明禪人設供請上堂
J34nB311_p0608a21舉:「南泉和尚云:『王老師自小養一頭水牯牛,擬向溪J34nB311_p0608a22東牧,不免犯國王水草;擬向溪西牧,不免犯國王水J34nB311_p0608a23草。不如隨分納些些,總不見得。』」師云:「遮偷懶撈天漢,J34nB311_p0608a24好與一頓痛棒。既有個牛兒,便當隨處放牧,但勿犯J34nB311_p0608a25人苗稼,使他水足草足,自然不東觸西觸矣。如我山J34nB311_p0608a26中許多大眾,必求饑餐渴飲,豈可空腹高心,強謂隨J34nB311_p0608a27分納些些即飽足也?又況國王水土,如天地養物,曾J34nB311_p0608a28不限人,孰不取足以負其大檀施乎?還有為南泉雪J34nB311_p0608a29屈者麼?惠明禪人從太倉來,於此設供,請山僧與他J34nB311_p0608a30舉出本願,尚欲為闔山作財法等施之會。雖然,更須J34nB311_p0608b01知有普供養意旨始得。如何是普供養意旨?五臺山J34nB311_p0608b02上雲蒸飯,佛殿階前狗尿天,剎旛竿上煎鎚子,三尾J34nB311_p0608b03猢孫夜𥳽錢。若于此薦得,則供養也足,俵嚫也足,無J34nB311_p0608b04佛性狗子喫得飽𱃫[飢-几+亨]地,撒糞撒溺去,纔是平等也。J34nB311_p0608b05會麼?欲得不招無間業,須轉如來正法輪。」
淨慈語錄J34nB311_p0608b07 方書田相國,張坤安撫臺,偕諸宰官居士,四月J34nB311_p0608b08八請于淨慈寺上堂
J34nB311_p0608b09師拱手,云:「恭喜諸公!人人頭頂天、腳踏地、眼放光、口J34nB311_p0608b10出氣,從古以至如今未曾絲毫變異。道個本來是佛,J34nB311_p0608b11自已糊塗;更若向外馳求,轉成鈍置。當年悉達太子J34nB311_p0608b12纔生下來,不守本分,誇張尊貴,遭他傍觀不肯,卻成J34nB311_p0608b13一場笑具。既然如此,今日方相國諸公為甚請來淨J34nB311_p0608b14慈發揮大事?不見道:藥因病險製尤奇,劍為仇深磨J34nB311_p0608b15更利。」喝一喝,下座。

J34nB311_p0608b21師良久,云:「會麼?黃閣簾垂,誰通密意?紫羅帳合,謾擬J34nB311_p0608b22真音。可中別有生機,天上人間罔測。所以尼山耳順J34nB311_p0608b23已曾知命而來,百丈耳聾卻因捲席之後,到遮裏也J34nB311_p0608b24須是親的透過始得。諸公還知耳順消息麼?」敲香案,J34nB311_p0608b25云:「一擊忘所知,更不假修持,動容揚古路,不墮悄然J34nB311_p0608b26機。此正是孔子見溫伯雪目擊道存時也。還知耳聾J34nB311_p0608b27消息麼?」震聲喝,云:「虛空俄粉碎,大地忽平沈,威音王J34nB311_p0608b28未睡,彌勒豈惺惺?此正是海公被馬大師喝倒雄峰J34nB311_p0608b29時也。若不是進步竿頭,全身透脫,安能橫身异路,到J34nB311_p0608b30處稱尊?今為陳旻翁壽, 諸大護法合請山僧舉揚J34nB311_p0608c01向上,還知所以壽佛祖慧命底意旨麼?旻昭居士夙J34nB311_p0608c02承願力,以法界莊嚴作老萊子班衣妙舞,供奉十方J34nB311_p0608c03慈父,各各破顏而笑曰:『善哉!我此正法眼賴汝護持J34nB311_p0608c04者之增年,即使我佛生之慧命常住不滅也。如此妙J34nB311_p0608c05舞,現在諸公目前露地矣。』於此薦得,何待剔起眉毛J34nB311_p0608c06始存道妙,耳聾三日乃振全機也耶?」復擊如意,云:「特J34nB311_p0608c07地豁開千聖眼,大千花笑法王機。」
劉良弼翰林為薦封翁爾敬居士請上堂
J34nB311_p0608c09「世間多少英奇,誰知自家主使?自家主使不知,如何J34nB311_p0608c10了得生死?試問:是誰使汝生死?誰是了生死者?誰能J34nB311_p0608c11入聖超凡?又誰了無取捨?須知吾宗有賓中賓、賓中J34nB311_p0608c12主、主中賓、主中主。如何是賓中賓?眼迷徒自墮風塵。J34nB311_p0608c13如何是賓中主?百花叢裏有歸趣。如何是主中賓?垂J34nB311_p0608c14手街頭等箇人。如何是主中主?不動聲光動寰宇。於J34nB311_p0608c15此一一能發明,頭頭各有稱尊處。諸仁者!今日是劉J34nB311_p0608c16良弼太史為薦揚封翁爾敬居士請山僧陞座。封公J34nB311_p0608c17昔皈依博山先和尚,即參究父母未生前事,後受華J34nB311_p0608c18山昧師大戒,而操履益精。嘗與余未也居士同參,互J34nB311_p0608c19相激發。客秋,偕賢橋梓參予于濟生菴,呈見請益,自J34nB311_p0608c20謂於良知性善有契入處,予曰:『此孟氏之學固不易J34nB311_p0608c21到,據吾教既為良善,正是六識功勳邊事,至于知見J34nB311_p0608c22立知是無明本,必須參透向上活句,始得本地風光。』J34nB311_p0608c23封君於是執計頓消,大有省發。先是,其弟司馬公嘗J34nB311_p0608c24夢封君手持《五燈會元》一卷,訝之,至今春俄然坐逝,J34nB311_p0608c25即命司馬書偈曰:身心本來清淨,父母未生可證,夢J34nB311_p0608c26幻泡影一空,依舊青天明鏡。始于此徵其平生參究J34nB311_p0608c27之得力,正余所謂百花叢裏有歸趣是也。使公更假J34nB311_p0608c28數年,自當深參諸祖門庭堂奧,如裴公美、楊大年振J34nB311_p0608c29大機用也。雖然,太史能承父志,不讓當機直下、勇銳J34nB311_p0608c30向上、全力荷擔,則扶樹吾宗、傳燈千古,豈非遭際之J34nB311_p0609a01奇特哉?且更作麼生薦揚聻?偈曰:風光匝匝迴埃塵,J34nB311_p0609a02就路還家妙轉身,空劫那邊移一步,大鵬生下玉麒J34nB311_p0609a03麟。」

J34nB311_p0609a07「人非法不行,法非人不立,人法兩相成,超然還獨出。J34nB311_p0609a08如何是獨出底消息?」卓拄杖,云:「向遮裏薦取。遮裏薦J34nB311_p0609a09得,不惟扶過斷橋水,伴歸明月村,亦可攪長河為酥J34nB311_p0609a10酪、指大地作黃金。茲有巫瞿庵、孫仲長、李仲審三居J34nB311_p0609a11士為薦嚴慈,求超生出死與存亡兩利之法,此須人J34nB311_p0609a12子有至誠心,方能感通父母。如何是至誠感通處?」復J34nB311_p0609a13卓拄杖,云:「向遮杖子上感通得,便知自己性命落處;J34nB311_p0609a14知得自己性命落處,則知父母性命落處,亦足以感J34nB311_p0609a15佛祖、通鬼神、參天地、贊化育。所謂:你有拄杖,我與你J34nB311_p0609a16拄杖;你無拄杖,我奪你拄杖。忽然𨁝跳上三十三天,J34nB311_p0609a17觸著帝釋鼻孔,東海鯉魚打一棒,雨似盆傾又作麼J34nB311_p0609a18生?」復卓拄杖,云:「咦!向道是龍曾不信,天田飛舞始驚J34nB311_p0609a19人。珍重。」
高玉鉉同繆華閭、吳台衡居士請上堂
J34nB311_p0609a21師云:「有時相逢不相見,有時相見不相逢,東山起雲J34nB311_p0609a22西山雨,南山燒炭北山紅。無位真人面門出入,沒縫J34nB311_p0609a23塔子透徹玲瓏,現成公案,好與痛棒三十,禮拜了退,J34nB311_p0609a24一任齊立下風。吽!吽!太平景象無人識,大坐當軒笑J34nB311_p0609a25浪公。珍重!」
獨峰竹山禪師請上堂
J34nB311_p0609a27師陞座,獨峰禮拜,問云:「先師在昔一登天界,和尚於J34nB311_p0609a28此四坐道場,佛祖盡力道不出的,和尚作麼生為人?」J34nB311_p0609a29師云:「一箭透威音,當機誰中的?」進云:「即今宗風大振,J34nB311_p0609a30英傑堂堂,和尚未出方丈,全身已露,誰是知恩報恩J34nB311_p0609b01者?」師云:「拍拍是令少能和。」進云:「恁麼則博山之道應J34nB311_p0609b02隆,壽昌之脈愈遠也。」師云:「性命卻在杖人手裏。」進云:J34nB311_p0609b03「和尚不得孤負他人。」師云:「別有一機去向在。」進云:「和J34nB311_p0609b04尚也須珍重始得。」師云:「當知有辨驗處。」峰禮拜歸位,J34nB311_p0609b05師乃云:「一片月生海,幾家人上樓?何勞重指點,各自J34nB311_p0609b06應開眸。雖然,清光照眼似迷家,明白轉身猶墮位,到J34nB311_p0609b07遮裏直須知有出就入就底宗旨始得。博山先師一J34nB311_p0609b08枝輝天炤地底法道,自雪關師兄示寂後,此事耿耿J34nB311_p0609b09在我心中。前年在靈谷開期,獨峰竹公特來相見,請J34nB311_p0609b10我上堂,曾於人天眾前大為激勵,竹公亦深為感發,J34nB311_p0609b11嗣後竊念先師法道不可斷絕,乃勉自應世為人,然J34nB311_p0609b12尚有數人出博山門者,皆各化導一方,亦是使先師J34nB311_p0609b13門風不致寂寥,其誰親承付囑、覿體承當者哉?今予J34nB311_p0609b14主報恩法席,竹公復來請予上堂,足見虛懷就正之J34nB311_p0609b15誠,予既不忍負先師,寧忍自負負公而不為光揚前J34nB311_p0609b16後之事乎?昔巴陵鑒答僧三語,僧舉似雲門,門云:『老J34nB311_p0609b17僧今日忌辰,只消舉此以為供養。』杖人亦有三語,今J34nB311_p0609b18問竹公,若答得的當,正好于此供養先師。竹公出眾J34nB311_p0609b19答話。」竹進前,師問:「推倒興善大好山,如何是壽昌祖J34nB311_p0609b20翁田地?」峰云:「今日與和尚親相見。」又問:「擊碎船子沒J34nB311_p0609b21蹤跡,如何是博山先師法身?」進云:「道嚴特為先師來。」J34nB311_p0609b22又問:「喝斷洞上逆流水,如何是曹溪正脈?」進云:「大眾J34nB311_p0609b23俱有分。」師云:「答也答得恰好,只是門庭邊事、堂奧中J34nB311_p0609b24事,還須問取杖人。」峰云:「道嚴親從祖父堂奧中來。」師J34nB311_p0609b25云:「腳跟下地深三尺,渤海難將雨露酬。」進云:「總瞞和J34nB311_p0609b26尚不得。」師云:「白浪滔天須著力,持鍬歸去骨毛寒。」進J34nB311_p0609b27云:「困龍飛上天去也。」師云:「好好在遮裏著。」竹禮拜,師J34nB311_p0609b28下座。
雪嶠大師示寂,訃聞金陵,譂梁生司成同張如J34nB311_p0609b30盤太史、錢文青兵憲、黃玉耳總戎、蔡二白職方、J34nB311_p0609c01黃觀之解元、劉今度明經、薛更生、謝在之、顧與J34nB311_p0609c02治、姚伯右、余未也諸文學請上堂
J34nB311_p0609c03「從上東西老古錐,更無一法奈何伊,渠儂卻得超心J34nB311_p0609c04法,欺盡世人人莫欺。噫嘻嘻!有誰知?天上人間儘著J34nB311_p0609c05疑,疑情脫,許他悟此超心法。諸仁者!還知徑山雪嶠J34nB311_p0609c06大師行狀麼?其生平參悟已自希奇,出世為人偏生J34nB311_p0609c07怪異,以故不落諸方格套,使依門傍戶者無能湊泊,J34nB311_p0609c08乃目之為散聖,正是他凡聖不測處,不妨惑亂天下J34nB311_p0609c09人、賺殺天下人,留此一種毒氣于千百世下,有人向J34nB311_p0609c10遮裏死得、活得,許他與大師相見。不見唐、宋二支五J34nB311_p0609c11派正盛之時,有丹霞燒木佛、玉泉書布褌、蜆子臥錢J34nB311_p0609c12爐、普化翻筋斗輩,縱橫格外,傍打正敲,破盡五大宗J34nB311_p0609c13師門庭施設之執計,雖彼承接難得其人,然其法乳J34nB311_p0609c14風流自足潤沃千古。如譚梁生居士親大師,四十年J34nB311_p0609c15來自謂不能不疑、不敢不敬,始終覷他不破。山僧謂J34nB311_p0609c16此正是他超心活法,若使人覷得破,何處見得他不J34nB311_p0609c17落聖凡之機?今當大師蛻然示寂,公深有感激,乃偕J34nB311_p0609c18諸公請山僧舉揚大師末後秘旨,諸公直須向遮裏J34nB311_p0609c19親得大解脫法,始不相孤負也。會麼?紅爐燄裏看飛J34nB311_p0609c20雪,白刃霜前拂大旗。」
藥師庵法侶暨諸居士請上堂
J34nB311_p0609c22師指如意云:「會麼?門迎柳色黃金嫩,院送梨花白玉J34nB311_p0609c23香,特地東君能自薦,肯如蜂蝶去來忙。諸仁者!那箇J34nB311_p0609c24是東君聻?果能于此薦得,則隨緣作主、遇物明宗,出J34nB311_p0609c25入自繇、縱橫無礙,擲大千于方外、納須彌于芥中,何J34nB311_p0609c26有凡聖、死生、世出世法而不歸此大圓鏡智?雖然,也J34nB311_p0609c27須是開得頂門眼、提得肘後符始得。不見儒門高弟J34nB311_p0609c28如子貢,尚乃末年始窺得孔子堂奧中事,乃曰:『夫子J34nB311_p0609c29之文章可得而聞也,夫子之言性與天道不可得而J34nB311_p0609c30聞也。』蓋此道深微非見聞所及,而學者不失于深,正J34nB311_p0610a01昧于淺也。何故?聖人之道,形色即是天性,事人所以J34nB311_p0610a02達天,曾無內外淺深之分,何有文章性道之異?若非J34nB311_p0610a03親見此旨,安能一貫天人哉?此惟我佛說法,嘗于聲J34nB311_p0610a04色塵勞示人本分大事,故文殊末後乃請佛再轉法J34nB311_p0610a05輪,佛咄云:『文殊!汝將謂吾曾轉法輪耶?吾四十九年J34nB311_p0610a06未曾說一字。』若于此薦得,則知孔子之言文章與世J34nB311_p0610a07尊之轉法輪,皆不可以語言文字會也。秪如山僧今J34nB311_p0610a08日陞座,指出現前人境,還與孔子、世尊有同別也無?J34nB311_p0610a09莫將間解會,埋沒本來人。」乃擊如意下座。
桐城倪資生、臣北伯姪,夏廣生、生生兄弟,設供J34nB311_p0610a11薦親請上堂
J34nB311_p0610a12師舉如意云:「會麼?當機不昧,透徹古今,一念現前,迥J34nB311_p0610a13超夢覺。親莫親乎父母,大莫大于死生,若欲頓拔生J34nB311_p0610a14死、開悟性靈,不從參證過關,何能報此罔極?不見宋J34nB311_p0610a15時有樞密師川徐公,每侍先龍圖謁法昌及靈源,語J34nB311_p0610a16論終日,徐聞之藐如也。及法昌歸寂,在談笑間,徐異J34nB311_p0610a17之,始信此道。後丁父憂,念無以報罔極,因請靈源歸J34nB311_p0610a18孝址說法,源登座曰:『諸仁者!秪如龍圖平日讀萬卷J34nB311_p0610a19書,如水傳器,涓滴不遺,且道尋常著在甚麼處?而今J34nB311_p0610a20捨識之後,遮著萬卷書底又向甚麼處著?』徐聞,灑然J34nB311_p0610a21有得,遂曰:『吾無憾矣。』源曰:『學士見箇甚麼道理便恁J34nB311_p0610a22麼道?』徐曰:『若有所見,則鈍置和尚去也。』源曰:『恁麼則J34nB311_p0610a23老僧不如。』徐曰:『和尚是何心行?』源大笑。于是徐公嘗J34nB311_p0610a24與朝士同志者挂缽于天寧,參究此旨,以故傳燈至J34nB311_p0610a25今煥然不昧。今桐城倪資生、臣北伯姪,夏廣生、生生J34nB311_p0610a26兄弟,昔常侍其先人參朗目、憨山、博山諸大師,深參J34nB311_p0610a27性命,故倪司空致仕林下,與雪琪上座為方外友,臨J34nB311_p0610a28終八十歲握手談笑而逝,其夏明府與倪處士皆超J34nB311_p0610a29然獨脫而終,此鄉黨中人人瞻仰發心,以佛法為有J34nB311_p0610a30靈也。今資生居士長齋繡佛,誓心與諸君從山僧挂J34nB311_p0610b01缽于祖堂,求明自己著落,不鈍置予,則諸君與徐樞J34nB311_p0610b02密千載同風,且與世出世間法身慧命妙密相傳為J34nB311_p0610b03至親至孝也。山僧更為頌曰:夜半方明朝不露,劫前J34nB311_p0610b04消息孰能知?于斯不昧真宗旨,彩鳳繽紛天外飛。」下J34nB311_p0610b05座。
