武夷以奇稱天下固不待言虎嘯巖頂有新獲之奇J34nB311_p0723b07出於三十六峰此殆世人所未知也試舉開創之故J34nB311_p0723b08以自紀其歲月可乎此山三十年前人秪知有虎嘯J34nB311_p0723b09至萬曆壬寅予麗空翁於巖頂之右得一洞以搆J34nB311_p0723b10禪室始知有虎嘯洞天啟辛酉吾師東苑和尚囑予J34nB311_p0723b11:「此洞是我授業先師骨塔所在子可棲之。」予受命J34nB311_p0723b12與普周行公策杖造巔見此巖壁立萬仞於千峰環J34nB311_p0723b13繞間如老胡西來為此方鼻祖其捧缽傳衣之衲子J34nB311_p0723b14咸接踵趨承焉因指其頂之中曰:「此處對千盃渡J34nB311_p0723b15建一梵剎。」行公能苦力輒自握鋤歷數載始闢成插J34nB311_p0723b16草之地此西來巖之所繇名也崇禎庚午予乃攜小J34nB311_p0723b17子大銓隱此以撥草于頂左復啟一洞儼發天藏J34nB311_p0723b18以坐數六六之奇予顧銓曰:「異哉此天授吾與子也J34nB311_p0723b19右洞既謂虎嘯左洞不謂之龍吟乎?」前有岩圓秀可J34nB311_p0723b20配此二洞三相掩映其中宮正如洞山之正偏J34nB311_p0723b21帶大覺之三星偃月也予且自幸獲其全勝矣不期J34nB311_p0723b22更於抵盡陡見參天斷崖如巨靈所擘其中猶聞瀑J34nB311_p0723b23流淙淙俯之莫測其底遂以獨木為橋如天台石梁J34nB311_p0723b24雖慣乘險者股慄不敢過予與銓子直度於峭絕J34nB311_p0723b25獲一小石龕懸於立屏之上寒山子云:「上有安心窟J34nB311_p0723b26下有定命橋。」今日得之矣予與二三子磅礡翠微間J34nB311_p0723b27六時鐘梵每漏逗於九曲之岸可中有臨風採聽相J34nB311_p0723b28尋於別峰者我不箕踞巖前遙見其步驟乎曲岸音J34nB311_p0723b29別峰客亦虛中之真景耳此巖孤峻絕無攀躋之逕J34nB311_p0723b30是先祖于劍峽中鑿石接梯而上故唯一門而復狹J34nB311_p0723c01此劍峽梯誠登巖之第一奇也惟岩峻故水源亦J34nB311_p0723c02枕巔之瀑收而引之遂為石沼滴滴不落別處J34nB311_p0723c03可協高山流水之雅調矣特命十景付囑此山J34nB311_p0723c04王諸子之唱和自不容客曰:「此山奇則奇矣J34nB311_p0723c05比之五岳不啻盆中小景掌上怪石秪資人翫弄耳J34nB311_p0723c06師獨戀此頓忘匡衡之詩謂何?」予曰:「子知文佛示現J34nB311_p0723c07於華藏不大于娑婆不小乎子知鹿野苑為仙人居J34nB311_p0723c08楞伽峰為夜又宅佛於此大轉法輪乎子知五嶽不J34nB311_p0723c09如崑崙崑崙不如須彌須彌不如我拄杖乎吾閩素J34nB311_p0723c10號出祖之鄉武夷舊稱棲真之域即影不出山亦何J34nB311_p0723c11負匡衡之志哉?」客謝曰:「小子幸甚一遊武夷西來巖J34nB311_p0723c12而茅塞開矣請記以待來者。」

皖桐之南有山號大龍小龍小龍之華山黃連山J34nB311_p0725b08銜桐湖之口華山之中有阿垂方即古隱龍菴也J34nB311_p0725b09所自來遠矣其廢萬曆時有苦行阿練若游方J34nB311_p0725b10至此遇林氏捨其地與自募建四眾感動為之運木J34nB311_p0725b11塹石遂成庵院時聞古心和尚傳律乃藉何芝岳相J34nB311_p0725b12吳觀我太史延之開戒至於千僧衣缽登壇自茲J34nB311_p0725b13庵中以持戒修淨業為儀範天啟間吳本如開府請J34nB311_p0725b14敕賜為中方禪寺及其徒證無主事聞博山先大師J34nB311_p0725b15將至桐即趨迎於山中留五日作法喜游先師乃指J34nB311_p0725b16示修造之法謂此可成叢林近來數年屢遭兵荒J34nB311_p0725b17舍漸為頹落今戊子春予適在浮山證公乃率徒開J34nB311_p0725b18遠輩恭迎至山休夏為諸子授戒樅陽諸居士亦多J34nB311_p0725b19於此問法予登山眺望樅陽為案大小龍為屏鹿湖J34nB311_p0725b20梅嶺諸湖匯之七十二螺點綴几席之下洵隱龍之J34nB311_p0725b21地也證公與諸子感激必欲通方仁植中丞諸護法J34nB311_p0725b22以此中方交授請予令人主之予以潛行無多從者J34nB311_p0725b23亦何能代為之理哉但得一日在山即與之議千古J34nB311_p0725b24不易之法則庶幾矣中方藏圓周邊作範巍巍堂堂J34nB311_p0725b25非以大小限也此山殿宇纍層登頓而橫翼甚寬J34nB311_p0725b26絡周楹則亦可成余小選聖圖矣酇侯為漢高刱J34nB311_p0725b27陽為酇侯守世謂刱守異才其實本行願品久則感J34nB311_p0725b28而大小依法自然乘裕十幢十林詎謂一心行布J34nB311_p0725b29可須臾離耶證公請予記其事用泐諸石予曰:「中方J34nB311_p0725b30有何相國之碑吳太史之文足以光千古矣何復J34nB311_p0725c01贅乎但記杖人曾來華山周旋一月指出中方藏圓J34nB311_p0725c02為大小龍開此勝因可也將來必有人發揮者。」

吾師東苑和尚向隱武夷石屏巖為人孤峻衲子無J34nB311_p0725c05能親依獨二行者服勤庚午七月欲示寂先指石屏J34nB311_p0725c06下地曰:「我死須葬於此。」俄大笑一聲而逝行者走於J34nB311_p0725c07建陽報其侄甥輩遂厝師於指處三月後盛於建州J34nB311_p0725c08始聞訃及奔至山而靜室皆空行者亦去矣盛登穴J34nB311_p0725c09禮拜雖不知堪輿亦覺奇異遂作奠章并托人守護J34nB311_p0725c10自以時機未至當以行道始不負祖父付囑也庚辰J34nB311_p0725c11黃元公與盛擬遷靈骨到壽昌及同到山見三十六J34nB311_p0725c12峰之秀九曲來朝之奇公乃驚曰:「此殆天授也雖為J34nB311_p0725c13天下三十六洞天之仙地既有三教峰而大隱屏為J34nB311_p0725c14朱文公得今石屏之逆龍為東苑和尚得豈非山靈J34nB311_p0725c15之有待乎?」因相與作祭文以表之武夷從來無宗門J34nB311_p0725c16今得先和尚靈塔在此則武夷開山第一祖也J34nB311_p0725c17後更為塔銘特揭明之不期時世多變至太平時J34nB311_p0725c18托建州太守吳公崇安令殷公為先師造窣堵波及J34nB311_p0725c19塔院又為兵火所焚前年因余繼泉嫡孫興標者相J34nB311_p0725c20從於博山剃落命往重搆石屏塔院僅為草屋彼偶J34nB311_p0725c21於先師族姪處得石屏放閒集又於彼俗家得玉函J34nB311_p0725c22秘要有涅槃和尚鈐記曰:「武夷久作神仙府更應興J34nB311_p0725c23王崇世儒三教中峰能迥拔西坤逆有臥龍居。」:「J34nB311_p0725c24中當歷世出諸聖祖在逆龍為最奇也。」乃詫異此地J34nB311_p0725c25與彼鈐記特持於夢筆盛甚怪之風水之理甚J34nB311_p0725c26雖有稱贊者皆浮誇之辭未足信也況世間功名J34nB311_p0725c27美器造物不與人全余何人敢掠天之功謬為J34nB311_p0725c28不亦重損其德乎即今有司馬頭陀指百丈溈山為J34nB311_p0725c29萬世祖庭文矩禪師指雪峰為千古法窟與武夷為J34nB311_p0725c30三教聖地亦必於後世始信其說如九曲龍潭之出J34nB311_p0726a01趙王與大隱屏之出文公此雖可信而西坤之宅何J34nB311_p0726a02敢據為必在此耶盛不肖不能親守師塔罪莫此大J34nB311_p0726a03今特命敏之訥子歸武夷以奉祀石屏先師塔乃引J34nB311_p0726a04前事以鼓其志趣使始終堅密成就祖庭安知後世J34nB311_p0726a05不以成驗為此記之不謬以遺厥遠嗣哉亥春日J34nB311_p0726a06不肖盛書於皋亭鶴飛處

偶有箇沒巴鼻漢來求作破皮鞋記杖人曰:「破皮鞋J34nB311_p0726a09有何可取而記之乎?」:「無可取也以此鞋是達磨所J34nB311_p0726a10遮一隻於熊耳山定林寺深恐此土人以為西天J34nB311_p0726a11所遺者為詫異竊去而作怪故求大手筆記之以防J34nB311_p0726a12閑也。」杖人曰:「何於今乃求記而防閑之乎?」「正以今時J34nB311_p0726a13事窮故也昔老達磨無端得得而來自謂不立文字J34nB311_p0726a14教外別傳乃見梁武帝只道得一箇廓然無聖與對J34nB311_p0726a15面不識便渡蘆過江去若後之好事而作宗旨者J34nB311_p0726a16這一則便可作也何必面壁立雪何必安心得髓J34nB311_p0726a17必脫身遺履而後立宗旨哉雖然若非彼時斷臂人J34nB311_p0726a18以安心得髓遮則為一花開五葉之宗旨則前所見J34nB311_p0726a19武帝與渡蘆與面壁與立雪與後遺履節節皆可作J34nB311_p0726a20宗旨者有誰能記之以附會於傳佛心印為標宗立J34nB311_p0726a21旨哉?」杖人曰:「既有彼斷臂人記之能使後人附會為J34nB311_p0726a22宗旨則妙有不可測者在矣又何獨於破皮鞋而防J34nB311_p0726a23閑之乎?」:「非防閑此破皮鞋也蓋防閑歷世之久J34nB311_p0726a24旨窮時或竊此所遺之物以作怪也。」杖人曰:「若能竊J34nB311_p0726a25破皮鞋而作怪則天下如河洛經史與三藏五宗及J34nB311_p0726a26木頭磚之類無有不可竊之而作怪也又何能令J34nB311_p0726a27杖人一一記而防閑之乎?」:「不見彼渾沌乎偶與倏J34nB311_p0726a28忽善厚為穿鑿之七日而渾沌死則此鞋雖被人J34nB311_p0726a29竊去尚不知彼欲竊去作怪耶或彼恐人詫異故先J34nB311_p0726a30竊去以滅其跡耶故須預作記以防閑之以免後來J34nB311_p0726b01如倏忽亦穿鑿使之死也。」杖人咄曰:「天下豈有未痒J34nB311_p0726b02先搔者乎若真渾沌倏忽豈能鑿死哉鑿得死者J34nB311_p0726b03任鑿之何足惜乎彼果鑿不死即汝沒巴鼻漢強欲J34nB311_p0726b04為彼防閑卻是無端為破皮鞋穿鑿與西天達磨一J34nB311_p0726b05狀領過也汝以間事長無明者罪又浮於達磨之無J34nB311_p0726b06端遺此毒于我東土矣若我東土有真本色漢自不J34nB311_p0726b07為達磨所惑亂豈復為彼所遺之破皮鞋所惑亂J34nB311_p0726b08待汝為之防閑乎?」乃以杖將此沒巴鼻漢逐出復大J34nB311_p0726b09笑曰:「我雖不為他破皮鞋作記如此沒巴鼻漢真是J34nB311_p0726b10毒物卻須借此作記以防閑之耳。」
