J34nB298_p0101b04康熙丙辰歲臘月八日入院。
J34nB298_p0101b05山門。「不從人天來,卻向者裏入,直踏毘廬頂𩕳,堪與J34nB298_p0101b06佛祖為師。」驀卓杖,云:「密移一步看飛龍。」便入。
J34nB298_p0101b07佛殿。「古鏡未磨時,與汝相見了也。即今禮即是?不禮J34nB298_p0101b08即是?」遂展大具,云:「三十年後,敢保有人道箇不必。」
J34nB298_p0101b09伽藍。「汝坐我立,不為汝說法。秪要鍋裏不少米、灶裏J34nB298_p0101b10不少柴,昔日靈山親付囑,今朝何必更安排?」
J34nB298_p0101b11祖師。「捏不成,塑不就,東土與西天,面南看北斗。斷淆J34nB298_p0101b12訛,絕滲漏,三十三人眼𭽯眵,不值寒山破苕帚。咦!」
J34nB298_p0101b13據室。「正不居正、偏不坐偏,要展向上機宜、單提正令,J34nB298_p0101b14直饒臨濟、德山到來,猶是困魚止濼、鈍鳥棲蘆。」驀顧J34nB298_p0101b15左右,云:「有麼?有麼?」良久,卓拄杖一丁:「行到水窮處,坐J34nB298_p0101b16看雲起時。」
J34nB298_p0101b17護法疏。「未形文彩,金剛眼睛在山僧腳下;纔落言詮,J34nB298_p0101b18山僧鼻孔在諸公手裏。還會麼?會則鋪華錦上,不會J34nB298_p0101b19則矢上加尖。」
J34nB298_p0101b20本山疏。「歷歷無回互,明明絕覆藏。春回大地暖,佛日J34nB298_p0101b21鎮齊昌。」
J34nB298_p0101b22法座。「未有善法堂,先有此須彌燈王寶座,用借山僧J34nB298_p0101b23四大作麼?」喝一喝,云:「眼前有景道不得,崔顥題詩在J34nB298_p0101b24上頭。」便陞。
J34nB298_p0101b25祝聖畢,「此一瓣香,從前未曾暴露,者回不敢蓋藏,供J34nB298_p0101b26養匡廬開先堂上山鳴老和尚,用報鉗鎚陶鑄之恩。J34nB298_p0101b27此一瓣香,若耶溪上傳來,西子湖頭收得,在鴛湖冷J34nB298_p0101b28暖自知,到前溪貴賤無價,供養曹洞正宗二十八世J34nB298_p0101b29梵受堂上愚菴先老和尚,用酬法乳之恩。」白椎畢,問:J34nB298_p0101b30「踏入千峰最上層,橫拈楖栗驗來賓,掀翻海岳求知J34nB298_p0101c01己,撥動乾坤見太平。乾坤撥動即不問,如何是新入J34nB298_p0101c02門一句?」師云:「大地春回無硬土。」進云:「蕭梁古剎,門徑J34nB298_p0101c03荒蕪,三世諸佛手足無措,十八羅漢和身靠倒,和尚J34nB298_p0101c04到來作麼生施設?」師云:「破砂盆要大家扶。」進云:「恁麼J34nB298_p0101c05則山靈贊助,瓦礫增輝去也。」師云:「且容贊歎。」問:「吸盡J34nB298_p0101c06鴛湖波萬頃,踏翻雙徑幾層雲,承師證道真消息,拈J34nB298_p0101c07出當陽好示人。證即不問,如何是道?」師云:「莫向枯樁J34nB298_p0101c08舊處尋。」進云:「秪如無修無證,道從何立?」師云:「闍黎卻J34nB298_p0101c09會得。」進云:「明日世尊,今朝和尚,還有同別也無?」師云:J34nB298_p0101c10「卻較山僧一日長。」迺云:「坐斷溪山罷問津,寒巖花發J34nB298_p0101c11劫初春,繁興大用原無事,不動那伽定裏身?此是選J34nB298_p0101c12佛場,心空及第歸。淨裸裸、赤灑灑,仰攀絕路、趨向無J34nB298_p0101c13門,理絕玄微、事無背向。到者裏,三玄戈甲不用全施、J34nB298_p0101c14五位旗槍無勞更列,秪可坐法空為座、著弊垢為衣,J34nB298_p0101c15知尊貴而不居、明功勳而不宰,直下和泥合水、不斷J34nB298_p0101c16聲色去,始有相應分。現前緇素還委悉麼?其或不然,J34nB298_p0101c17向下分明薦取。」以拂子畫○相,云:「此是齊梁古剎、唐J34nB298_p0101c18宋名藍,為茲邑祝釐萬壽道場,是一境保綏、千秋勝J34nB298_p0101c19地,既隆替不盡乎兩朝,其休徵有關乎百代。所以,有J34nB298_p0101c20時散歌舞於溪頭,鳥啼花笑;有時論風幡於廡下,水J34nB298_p0101c21秀山明;有時埋銅駝於茂草寒煙;有時翻瓦礫為瓊J34nB298_p0101c22樓玉殿。山僧今日仰承眾力陞此法座,且道畢竟舉J34nB298_p0101c23揚箇甚麼事?吹法螺、擊法鼓,作大佛事,拈莖草作丈J34nB298_p0101c24六金身、撮毛端現三千樓閣,人籟、天籟齊鳴,佛法、世J34nB298_p0101c25法並唱,直得三世諸佛動地放光、十八高人手舞足J34nB298_p0101c26蹈,齊聲贊善:『希有!希有!』秪有南山石幢子與莫于峰J34nB298_p0101c27橫豎點頭,未全宜諾,山僧只得呵呵大笑。大眾!正恁J34nB298_p0101c28麼時,且道斬新條令一句作麼生道?幾曲溪迴歌舞J34nB298_p0101c29地,萬重山繞法王家。」結椎,下座。
J34nB298_p0101c30當晚小參。問:「梅吐白,柳含青,前溪水,後山雲,歷歷明J34nB298_p0102a01明事現成,因甚某甲到者裏不會?」師云:「打破鏡來與J34nB298_p0102a02汝相見。」進云:「千年故物依然在。」師云:「何不別通一路?」J34nB298_p0102a03進云:「虛空背上打鞦韆。」師云:「針鋒眼裏卓須彌。」進云:J34nB298_p0102a04「某甲只得禮拜了退。」師不顧,乃云:「我本秀州人,不住J34nB298_p0102a05秀州地,覓得溪山深處居,入門先我囊如洗。杖缽蕭J34nB298_p0102a06條值歲寒,村村木落秋風裏,山中佛法況無多,石頭J34nB298_p0102a07大小誰相委?填街塞巷盡時流,逢人那肯頻頻舉?禪J34nB298_p0102a08床嬾下氣力無,客來相對渾無語,帶累諸禪苦不休,J34nB298_p0102a09箇箇和泥而合水。開門七事件件無,家私拈起無些J34nB298_p0102a10子,挈得隨身折腳鐺,碗子無心籃沒底。粗茶澹飯僅J34nB298_p0102a11充腸,土木纔興乏柴米,甕牖繩樞帶雪霜,頹垣敗壁J34nB298_p0102a12兼風雨。乍住楊岐屋壁疏,滿床風雪寒如許,翻憶古J34nB298_p0102a13人樹下居,我較楊岐幾倍耳。珍重同流共此心,古人J34nB298_p0102a14為道恆如此,箇事人人非等閑,破砂盆要重扶起。大J34nB298_p0102a15眾!扶起固妙,那解放下更穩?忽然有箇伶俐漢出來J34nB298_p0102a16道:『長老慣用一手抬、一手搦。』山僧便向他道:『你作佛J34nB298_p0102a17法會又爭得?』」擊拂子,下座。
J34nB298_p0102a18晚參。「者邊那邊,全放全收,事無一向,葉落知秋。從上J34nB298_p0102a19佛祖千七百則陳爛葛藤,都道是相樓打樓,實是好J34nB298_p0102a20笑。昔日山僧問箇師僧:『德山托缽,意旨如何?』僧云:『相J34nB298_p0102a21樓打樓。』問南泉斬貓公案,云:『相樓打樓。』山僧乃呵呵J34nB298_p0102a22大笑,其僧不肯。山僧便問:『即今問你是相樓打樓麼?』J34nB298_p0102a23云:『不是,不是。』山僧又呵呵大笑,其僧又不肯。要問大J34nB298_p0102a24眾:還肯麼?」眾無對。擿拂子,云:「明年更有新條在,惱亂J34nB298_p0102a25春風卒未休。」
J34nB298_p0102a26早參。「山僧昨夜夜夢不祥,打箇噴嚏,一時內逼,擬往J34nB298_p0102a27東司,書破不利,便驟步拶入。噁!原來架上有人在。」便J34nB298_p0102a28下座。
J34nB298_p0102a29除夕,小參。舉:「北禪歲夜晚參,曰:『年窮歲盡,無可與諸J34nB298_p0102a30人分歲,老僧烹一頭露地白牛,炊黍米飯、煮野菜羹、J34nB298_p0102b01燒榾柮火,大家吃了,唱村田樂。何故?免見倚他門戶J34nB298_p0102b02傍他牆,剛被時人喚作郎。』」師云:「山僧今夜不敢效顰J34nB298_p0102b03古人,縱使畜得一頭,秪好東觸、西觸,隨緣順運。叵耐J34nB298_p0102b04年來水草不足,骨露皮穿,假饒烹向大眾,討甚滋味?J34nB298_p0102b05不如依舊放出溪山,足見大眾恩力。」良久,顧視,云:「今J34nB298_p0102b06夜縱不捩轉鼻孔,也不得犯人苗稼。」便下座。
J34nB298_p0102b07元旦,上堂。「去年有元日,今年有元日,扶起古雲門,日J34nB298_p0102b08日是好日。既是日日是好日,何用扶起?不見道:破砂J34nB298_p0102b09盆要扶起,雪獅子要扶起,拄杖子要扶起。若是破砂J34nB298_p0102b10盆有天童在,雪獅子有雪竇在,拄杖子還要山僧扶J34nB298_p0102b11起始得。」遂卓一下,云:「善哉拄杖子,平生得渠力,他日J34nB298_p0102b12倚南山,今朝頌北極。」便下座。
J34nB298_p0102b13早參。「涼雨打更頭,風鳴殿角秋,枯蟬嘶岸樹,新漲激J34nB298_p0102b14灘舟。此四句也無敲唱、也無主賓、也無照用、也無偏J34nB298_p0102b15正,且道與古人立敲唱主賓、照用偏正是同是別?要J34nB298_p0102b16透有敲唱主賓、照用偏正則易;要透無敲唱主賓、照J34nB298_p0102b17用偏正則難。何故?雪裏撒鹽還易辨,煤中著墨卒難J34nB298_p0102b18分。」
J34nB298_p0102b19因雪上堂,擊如意云:「看看,大雪飄颻,朔風如吼,馮欄J34nB298_p0102b20不辨梅和柳,彤雲片片遮牛斗,三九過了又五九,數J34nB298_p0102b21更籌坐到雞鳴丑,橘湯一盞無中有,最堪嗟,荒臺古J34nB298_p0102b22佛揚家醜。好禪流,休亂走,從今莫向寒巖守,烏盆化J34nB298_p0102b23白盆,黑狗變白狗,拋出雪峰爛木毬,捉得寒山破苕J34nB298_p0102b24帚。祖師來,休開口,通身是舌難分剖,懶吃趙州茶,漫J34nB298_p0102b25飲曹山酒,分付小兒童,看明朝人來否?」擊如意下座。
