報恩寺秉拂小參。「釋迦老子四十九年不曾說著一J29nB223_p0043c06字底分付迦葉遞相委付直至今日者謂之教外垂J29nB223_p0043c07所以諸方浩浩商量只是商量者不曾說著底J29nB223_p0043c08僧處處請益只是請益者不曾說著底今日報恩寺J29nB223_p0043c09裏法鼓頻催璧上座奉方丈慈旨也只是舉揚者不J29nB223_p0043c10曾說著底且如者不曾說著底作麼生商量作麼生J29nB223_p0043c11請益作麼生舉揚莫是晨鐘夕鼓是不曾說著底麼J29nB223_p0043c12莫是晝日夜月是不曾說著底麼莫是冬寒夏熱是J29nB223_p0043c13不曾說著底麼莫是塞北安南是不曾說著底麼J29nB223_p0043c14是五里一箇亭十里一箇鋪是不曾說著底麼莫是J29nB223_p0043c15今朝是初一明朝是初二是不曾說著底麼正眼看J29nB223_p0043c16總沒交涉此閒若有箇頂門具眼肘後有符底J29nB223_p0043c17鼓未鳴時委悉得去即穿衣喫飯也不較惡如其未J29nB223_p0043c18璧上座有箇頌子不妨舉似湖風括地吹抱手簾J29nB223_p0043c19前立只是不歸來徒勞空太息。」

住護國院當日小參。「據道而說偏圜不落剎海全詠J29nB223_p0043c21兼帶雙行纖豪不隔若以眼見本無其相若以耳聞J29nB223_p0043c22體絕眾理所以道:『道遠乎哉觸事而真聖遠乎哉J29nB223_p0043c23之則神。』既無心於彼此豈有相於去來兄弟且道J29nB223_p0043c24月離開聖今日來護國是有去來是沒去來委悉麼J29nB223_p0043c25未到盡驚山險峻行來方識路高低。」

小參僧問:「一色不立萬籟寂然當恁麼時如何作主?」J29nB223_p0043c27師云:「總是萬里崖州。」進云:「喚作竹篦則觸不喚作竹J29nB223_p0043c28篦則背不觸不背畢竟如何道?」師云:「但看前頭山嶽J29nB223_p0043c29。」乃云:「金剛圈栗棘蓬攃土揚沙陳皁角爛生薑J29nB223_p0043c30鹽費酢不知從上來事迥絕名模亦無對待即使青J29nB223_p0044a01山垂黛黃葉飄空秋雨霏微谿風撲面一一都是上J29nB223_p0044a02上機第一義看來猶未是衲僧極則之事。」:「古德道J29nB223_p0044a03有言時據虎頭收虎尾第一句下明宗旨無言時覿J29nB223_p0044a04露機鋒如仝電拂。』」師云:「者老漢與後人作牚門拄戶J29nB223_p0044a05底樣子不知衲僧門下當甚破艸鞋?」

小參僧問:「剖石得玉時如何?」師以拄杖畫一畫乃云J29nB223_p0044a07一鶚長空行處太險九年少室坐處孤危山僧者裏J29nB223_p0044a08無是般事只要終日行在真實處坐在穩密處是真J29nB223_p0044a09佛子是真住持是真謗於佛毀於法不入眾數底J29nB223_p0044a10僧也未免負米供養他只是不可向釋迦眼裏涕唾J29nB223_p0044a11達磨鼻中臧頭恐不得出羅籠絕窠臼作乾淨道人J29nB223_p0044a12又道山僧不道還有恁麼者麼滿院桃華紅似錦J29nB223_p0044a13頭惱殺子規啼。」

小參僧問:「臧賊兩全時如何?」師云:「不落脣皮快道將J29nB223_p0044a15。」進云:「終日忙忙成得箇甚麼事?」師云:「一碗飯兩碗J29nB223_p0044a16。」乃云:「一心不生萬法無咎你諸人見山河大地歷J29nB223_p0044a17歷儼然進前一步被他塞卻退後一步亦被他塞卻J29nB223_p0044a18正恁麼時如何委悉?」時太極先臧主向前繞一匝J29nB223_p0044a19:「是甚麼?」進云:「莫相孤負好。」師云:「少年事少年知。」J29nB223_p0044a20禮拜良久:「山僧更為你諸人杜撰箇頌子只是不J29nB223_p0044a21可作實法會。」遂高聲云:「耳又不聾眼又不瞎要會此J29nB223_p0044a22鼻頭下大。」

小參師揮拂子:「拂子無耑驀過滄海把滄海龍王J29nB223_p0044a24攔頭一摑血濺梵天被夜叉神惡發捉住便抴向西J29nB223_p0044a25瞿邪尼山僧喝住:『既是家裏人何須格鬥生死事J29nB223_p0044a26終日是非有何益哉?』伊被點著痛處只得打箇平J29nB223_p0044a27借諸人毛孔中臧身你諸人作麼生見?」良久:「J29nB223_p0044a28日行而不自覺可謂行屍。」

師誕小參僧問:「無量壽與和尚仝也別也?」師卓杖兩J29nB223_p0044a30:「猶較百倍在。」進云:「是何言與?」師云:「怎肯耘田向J29nB223_p0044b01日輪?」:「才出迦維指天地今日吾師意如何?」師申手J29nB223_p0044b02:「不妨舉似。」進云:「和尚合取口。」師云:「謝女遠來無可J29nB223_p0044b03祇待。」打一拂子:「一片兜樓親呈似吾師生受意如J29nB223_p0044b04?」師云:「十八女子不繫裙。」:「萬六千年開壽域時如J29nB223_p0044b05?」師云:「侍者過良來。」進云:「恰是。」師便打:「生從何來J29nB223_p0044b06死從何去?」師云:「東關城外。」乃云:「佛祖之道本要治心J29nB223_p0044b07心既無妄治之乃已所以道無心於事無事於心J29nB223_p0044b08而靈寂而玅如此指示不可便道原來是者箇道理J29nB223_p0044b09我且舉起拄杖你卻向者裏道看若道得方許開許J29nB223_p0044b10大口不然光陰可惜珍重。」

小參僧問:「如何是頭頭獨露底道?」師云:「瓦礫也解放J29nB223_p0044b12。」進云:「可謂珊瑚支支牚著月也。」師云:「徒勞開口笑。」J29nB223_p0044b13進云:「也得清光遍界煇。」便拜師云:「瞻之仰之去也不J29nB223_p0044b14。」純書記問:「如何是先照後用?」師云:「侍者把火來。」J29nB223_p0044b15:「如何是先用後照?」師云:「與子商量成得甚麼邊事?」J29nB223_p0044b16記云:「如何是照用仝時?」師云:「此閒是老僧目前是闍J29nB223_p0044b17。」記云:「如何是照用不仝時?」師打:「口只堪喫飯。」J29nB223_p0044b18:「識者方知暗裏驚。」師云:「喫茶也不教惡。」記禮拜J29nB223_p0044b19:「先佛廣大法門列祖直截要路本無言說可論J29nB223_p0044b20無標指可表但如毛群獅子百獸自然遯跡太空辟J29nB223_p0044b21諸人不及掩耳又如春回昜谷萬華自然含潤J29nB223_p0044b22玄冥五湖自然結凍大眾一微塵含諸佛國土J29nB223_p0044b23見其窄諸佛國土入一微塵不見其寬如此竟界J29nB223_p0044b24許計較得麼棒喝得麼指機示竟得麼拂袖彈指得J29nB223_p0044b25賓主照用得麼玄要料柬得麼功勳偏正得麼J29nB223_p0044b26相義海得麼北斗臧身得麼顧鑒嚬呻得麼唯心唯J29nB223_p0044b27識得麼一大臧教得麼只要寤得廣大門風直截要J29nB223_p0044b28自然一切見成自然一切無礙自然一切光通J29nB223_p0044b29道不明何道不達只是今時學者心術不正衒燿見J29nB223_p0044b30妄判諸方某人迂闊某人直切某人有眼目某人J29nB223_p0044c01無鼻孔某人慈悲某人煩惱某人前輩某人後生J29nB223_p0044c02此貢高如此媚人大法不究而作地獄種子者樣學J29nB223_p0044c03者如何救得如今據師位者亦有者樣近聞一種於J29nB223_p0044c04老師大衲邊或得一偈子或得一拂子便高談闊論J29nB223_p0044c05欺枉賢人形於紙墨災於木石如怨賊如矛盾者樣J29nB223_p0044c06扶持教門如何援先釋迦老達磨單傳直指之道於J29nB223_p0044c07既溺邪可憐生不但無補法化亦令識者哂之眾兄J29nB223_p0044c08既在者裏為生死事切莫萌此心直須把從上佛J29nB223_p0044c09祖機緣一齊透過走將出來扶持教化用報佛祖深J29nB223_p0044c10勿忝後學珍重。」

小參。「欲究大道根原須看直切指示無此指示徒自J29nB223_p0044c12勞形。」乃豎起拂子:「會麼如今山僧一一言真語實J29nB223_p0044c13諸人還有向者裏識得即能蹋毗盧頂上向釋迦眼J29nB223_p0044c14裏坐臥得底不妨出來推倒禪床喝散大眾未為分J29nB223_p0044c15直饒你既到者裏我又問你山僧適才有甚麼過J29nB223_p0044c16你便如此莫是適才與諸人問東答西麼拈苕豎拂J29nB223_p0044c17東邊搖頭西邊擺手麼者裏喫茶那裏放尿麼?」J29nB223_p0044c18左右:「諸人見處我早箇按過了如今有明威音那J29nB223_p0044c19邊底有明威音者邊底有超佛越祖底有蹋毗盧頂J29nB223_p0044c20上行底有扶牆靠壁底有黏牙著齒底者樣學者J29nB223_p0044c21年也未夢見在。」

除夕小參僧問:「一塵不立如何還有箇教化法門?」J29nB223_p0044c23:「特為闍黎請。」僧搖手師云:「山僧罪過。」僧無語:「J29nB223_p0044c24字法門海墨書不盡時如何?」師云:「徒自勞形。」乃云:「J29nB223_p0044c25來一碗白牙茶兩兩三三賞歲華不是山中無法說J29nB223_p0044c26長松無力著袈裟。」

小參僧問:「三十夜到來時如何?」師云:「山中冰雪深J29nB223_p0044c28炙松毛火。」進云:「是何意旨?」師云:「關外朔風寒楊柳都J29nB223_p0044c29吹折。」:「寒到十分時如何轉身?」師云:「但看寒食一百J29nB223_p0044c30。」乃拈杖:「拄杖拈也點著梵王鼻孔拄杖橫也J29nB223_p0045a01卻諸人眼睛只如不拈不橫從上尊宿天下宗師也J29nB223_p0045a02須回避者箇說話只須向未出方丈時早須著倒始J29nB223_p0045a03及至出來堪作麼生諸人委實不知更有箇說話J29nB223_p0045a04昔楊岐問石霜:『幽鳥語喃喃辭雲入亂峰時如何?』J29nB223_p0045a05:『我行荒艸裏女又入深村。』岐云:『官不容鍼更借一J29nB223_p0045a06。』霜便喝岐云:『好喝。』霜又喝岐亦喝霜連喝兩喝J29nB223_p0045a07禮拜。」師云:「者箇說話理會得要明今夜說底有何難?」

清監院請小參僧問:「如何是雲門一字關?」師指瓶J29nB223_p0045a09問取者箇。」:「急水灘頭篙折時如何?」師云:「女失身命J29nB223_p0045a10。」僧轉身而立師云:「轉身且置親切處道將一句來。」J29nB223_p0045a11僧禮拜師便打:「明歷歷為甚麼學人不會?」師云:「J29nB223_p0045a12為在者裏。」乃云:「頂門獨露眉毛獨豎腳頭獨步虛空J29nB223_p0045a13獨舞告報諸人正好垂顧。」驀呈拄杖:「垂顧箇甚麼J29nB223_p0045a14清監院清監院今日識得柴貴米賤。」

小參僧問:「離卻言說喚作甚麼?」師云:「鐵酸餡。」拈拂子J29nB223_p0045a16:「釋迦老子說不到處說取一句達磨大師行不到J29nB223_p0045a17行取一步有馬騎馬無馬步行此是釋迦老子說J29nB223_p0045a18不到處山僧說到了也昨日湘水今日平越此是達J29nB223_p0045a19磨大師行不到處山僧行到了也諸仁者若會得J29nB223_p0045a20撩起便行其或不然更聽一頌高藍山裏別生涯J29nB223_p0045a21月春晴可采茶今朝摘得先春意明日亨葵賞。」

小參。「窮玄究玅斷非衲子圜修說性談心亦非宗師J29nB223_p0045a23本領隔江招手橫趨便去此便是上根利智一聞千J29nB223_p0045a24悟底人是故向上一路祖佛莫由烏用文字句義為J29nB223_p0045a25開道哉如今大眾欲山僧指示山僧也只得隨例露J29nB223_p0045a26箇風規。」舉拂子:「會麼會得不消如何會不得更有J29nB223_p0045a27箇見成說話以供大眾。」乃高聲云:「諸惡莫作眾善奉J29nB223_p0045a28。」便下座

除夕小參僧問:「如何是真月?」師云:「密密寒光淡似秋。」J29nB223_p0045a30進云:「莫便是否?」師連喝兩喝:「三十到來時如何?」J29nB223_p0045b01:「有門堪貼紙無力詠椒華。」進云:「生天地萬物者誰?」J29nB223_p0045b02師豎拂子進云:「如何是一條白練去?」師云:「八臂挐吒J29nB223_p0045b03約不轉。」乃云:「窮年殘歲過盡稀鬻薄飯喫盡苦瓜蜜J29nB223_p0045b04果般盡諸人屎腸屙盡佛祖門風唱盡玄言玅句說J29nB223_p0045b05向上關頭透盡五時四教剖盡諸子百家談盡J29nB223_p0045b06礙法輪轉盡山僧肝膽傾盡且道如何是盡頭底一J29nB223_p0045b07有地能含新日月無山不戴舊年寒。」

元宵小參僧問:「一向恁麼時如何?」師云:「怎免膠柱訶?」J29nB223_p0045b09進云:「恁麼則隨流任性也。」師云:「孤負殺人。」進云:「孤負J29nB223_p0045b10且止元宵一句又作麼生?」師云:「家家門前不通風J29nB223_p0045b11陽回義爻春光啟昧筵開椒柏魚山相聯十方國J29nB223_p0045b12土仝此一鐙四大部洲仝此一照過見未來無隔礙J29nB223_p0045b13之相生佛始終無變易之談所以古今天地古今日J29nB223_p0045b14古今萬物古今性情古今凡聖古今理事古今淆J29nB223_p0045b15無出此一鐙若向者裏會得隨處受用隨處無礙J29nB223_p0045b16隨處自由說一句人天奔走形一言貍奴成佛其或J29nB223_p0045b17不然——」豎拂子:「應須著眼看仙人莫看仙人手中扇。」

小參。「塞鴻數聲觸碎諸人耳孔城南疊翠塞卻諸人J29nB223_p0045b19眼睛你如何得見聞去大眾看看拄杖子𨁝跳上三J29nB223_p0045b20十三天去也便大叫云:『將謂長老開堂總教大地人J29nB223_p0045b21得箇入處誰知翻成利害?』」拈拄杖卓一卓:「原來猶J29nB223_p0045b22在者裏大眾你道適來是神通邪玅用邪亦非神通J29nB223_p0045b23亦非玅用乃我照監院設茶供眾有如是耳。」复顧大J29nB223_p0045b24:「還見麼若見可謂仝一鼻孔不然向此著力好。」

小參。「具足凡夫法凡夫不知具足聖人法聖人不會J29nB223_p0045b26聖人若會即仝凡夫凡夫若知即仝聖人凡夫不知J29nB223_p0045b27不知箇甚麼聖人不會不會箇甚麼?」拈拄杖:「者般J29nB223_p0045b28時節終日行而不自知終日說而不自會真可惜許J29nB223_p0045b29既不知又不會正好向者裏抖擻精神究竟一番J29nB223_p0045b30二六時脅不至席則何愁撞著磕著亦必噁底一聲J29nB223_p0045c01元來是我自家底只是當初不遇人所以一向顢頇J29nB223_p0045c02你既得到者箇田地更要求箇甚麼正好高高山J29nB223_p0045c03頂立深深海底行又何必問他三世諸佛?」

小參。「月映松江一灣蘆華臥雪日開峰際千章松子J29nB223_p0045c05橫雲正眼看來一一總與仁者露布從上佛祖天下J29nB223_p0045c06宗師指示底一著子祇是仁者一向顢頇總作竟觀J29nB223_p0045c07仁者既不作竟觀且作甚麼觀料你會他不得。」

小參。「適才火盧頭拄杖拂子頭首知事三五侍者共J29nB223_p0045c09相論云:『佛法不見前不得成佛道。』因各執一耑爭之J29nB223_p0045c10不已山僧拈起火柴頭云:『者便是佛法見前眾生世J29nB223_p0045c11艸木叢林盡成佛道也女等還論議得麼還各執J29nB223_p0045c12一耑得麼蒼天!』者一隊漢踊躍起來面面相視不知J29nB223_p0045c13所云仁者要會大道須從者裏入去。」

小參。「白雲澹泞出沒太虛之中青蘿夤緣直上寒松J29nB223_p0045c15之頂者箇說話聖解凡心了無干涉逍遙自適無物J29nB223_p0045c16可拘果能如此不待肯而自肯鵠白烏玄不須明而J29nB223_p0045c17自明松直棘曲仁者者箇時節不是小事莫得少為J29nB223_p0045c18不見玅喜欲作無禪論去者樣說總是要到真實J29nB223_p0045c19田地放下蒲團拗折拄杖喚作飽參衲子仁者如今J29nB223_p0045c20看來都是鹿鹿漢子何有一人切於此道即使山僧J29nB223_p0045c21抆肚你恰似聾者聞曲盲者看戲有甚入路J29nB223_p0045c22何不趁此時節著些精采做到佛祖田地寧不快J29nB223_p0045c23?」

小參。「諸佛法要匪從人得老達磨不識好惡將一碗J29nB223_p0045c25滾油向人一澆祇要皮膚脫落殊不知卻生一層皮J29nB223_p0045c26膚也仁者如今知識出興亦要一碗滾油與人一澆J29nB223_p0045c27使人皮膚脫去喚作打脫枷鎖剝盡家私使知自己J29nB223_p0045c28無始來一箇種子雖在塵勞無塵勞可繫撥開一段J29nB223_p0045c29風光照天照地鑒物鑒人理事無拘行臧自適何曾J29nB223_p0045c30住在大海裏別覓涓滴飯籮邊別討賸物來只是日J29nB223_p0046a01用間不曾照顧所以不覺耳到此田地亦知從上來J29nB223_p0046a02本來不迷自言有迷本來無寤自言有寤又知釋迦J29nB223_p0046a03老人初生時天上地下惟我獨尊也是者箇雪山六J29nB223_p0046a04年夜睹明星打失眉毛也是者箇四十九年如琉璃J29nB223_p0046a05缾子口說出一大臧也是者箇末上拈華迦葉微笑J29nB223_p0046a06也是者箇少林九祀二祖安心也是者箇黃梅栽松J29nB223_p0046a07打碓也是者箇臨濟在黃檗喫三頓棒也是者箇J29nB223_p0046a08山在龍潭吹滅紙鐙也是者箇乃至佛祖顛拈倒用J29nB223_p0046a09豎去橫來也總是者箇如今只是仁者有耳聽不聞J29nB223_p0046a10有眼看不見蒼天蒼天要見麼?」拈拄杖卓一卓:「J29nB223_p0046a11者裏見要聞麼?」卓一卓:「向者裏聞雖然莫向者裏J29nB223_p0046a12取著若向者裏取著又是皮膚生也切須子細。」

小參。「益州人失物懷州人叫屈聖恩寺金剛問著眼J29nB223_p0046a14𥆌𥆌誰是喚鐘作甕又何曾指馬為鹿如此商量J29nB223_p0046a15地獄如箭入不如此商量亦墮地獄如箭入仁者J29nB223_p0046a16好箇入路。」复舉:「趙州問僧:『曾到此閒不?』:『曾到。』J29nB223_p0046a17:『喫茶去。』又問僧:『曾到此間不?』:『不曾到。』州云:『喫茶J29nB223_p0046a18。』院主問:『曾到為甚也叫喫茶去未曾到為甚也叫J29nB223_p0046a19喫茶去?』州喚院主主應諾州云:『喫茶去。』」師云:「若要得J29nB223_p0046a20前話圜須看喫茶去。」

師誕眾請小參。「熹宗元祀產禍胎新寧城裏呱聲來J29nB223_p0046a22如今老大成何事坐破青山萬事灰。」

小參。「有物先天地無形本寂寥能為萬象主不逐四J29nB223_p0046a24時凋傅大士生平作事不放一絲豪過界今日被山J29nB223_p0046a25僧捉住如今要行不得行要住不得住要坐不得坐J29nB223_p0046a26要臥不得臥聖不得為聖凡不得為凡真不得為真J29nB223_p0046a27俗不得為俗仁者渠要自在聽一箇頌子。」遂高聲云J29nB223_p0046a28有物先天地無形本寂寥能為萬象主不逐四時凋。」J29nB223_p0046a29拈拄杖便起身

小參。「十方來集長松院生柴也無炭也無日日雪深J29nB223_p0046b01好打睡大家也免鬧山廚。」

小參。「雪覆諸峰雲薶萬象你諸人有眼看不見有耳J29nB223_p0046b03聽不聞灶裏無柴燒𩰫寮裏無米打碓寂寂寥寥J29nB223_p0046b04空蕩蕩且道喫箇甚麼?」遂畫相:「大眾伏惟尚向。」

小參。「心不是佛智不是道既不是心又不是道是箇J29nB223_p0046b06甚麼火不待日而熱風不待月而涼者裏若不大微J29nB223_p0046b07一回如何了得古者道須是親見親聞始解與麼事J29nB223_p0046b08不是依稀似是仿佛不真可到得極則底亦不是到J29nB223_p0046b09得一尺行得一尺到得一丈行得一丈底若如是J29nB223_p0046b10負一生辦道有何實落也生無益於時死無聞於後J29nB223_p0046b11可惜許黃面老子不紹輪王入雪山為箇甚麼達磨J29nB223_p0046b12大師蠲棄王族過東震旦為箇甚麼可惜許今人不J29nB223_p0046b13鑒古人所以只是驢前馬後無丈夫气概大眾趁此J29nB223_p0046b14色力強健看者皮袋子原從甚處得來又看者穿衣J29nB223_p0046b15喫飯底是箇甚麼物件行也看坐也看臥也看除非J29nB223_p0046b16瞌睡時方休倘一覺來便又看今日也如此明日也J29nB223_p0046b17如此今歲也如此明歲也如此今生也如此來生也J29nB223_p0046b18如此今劫也如此來劫也如此如此做去自然到得J29nB223_p0046b19佛祖田地大眾又不可聞此說便放鬆了靈利漢又J29nB223_p0046b20那在多少時但一念回光便是極處祇恐不能生死J29nB223_p0046b21乃如此勸喻耳珍重。」
