古者僧依師姓而命名故有支氏竺氏之分帛氏于J26nB181_p0403a01氏之異至彌天安法師則以為大師之本莫尊釋迦J26nB181_p0403a02乃以釋命氏後驗經果縣符遂為永式然而法派之J26nB181_p0403a03稱無有也僧之有派也其起於中古之世乎

按山僧J26nB181_p0403a04得派之先蓋始于燕都戒壇世所稱為鵝頭祖師者J26nB181_p0403a05其派曰:「清淨道德文成佛法能仁智慧本來自性J26nB181_p0403a06明行理大通無學。」至受業先子僅十一世乃山僧不J26nB181_p0403a07從慧而從道者何也由先子自淮揚東隱起家而闡J26nB181_p0403a08法興建于匡山之開先寺復別衍十六字曰:「佛道興J26nB181_p0403a09隆有開必先傳燈紹祖以永萬年者是也

譬之世有遭劫而驚悸失心J26nB181_p0403c08雖居密室聞家人子步履謦欬未嘗不戰掉彌日J26nB181_p0403c09有智者過而詰焉知其故則坐之中庭使左右夾持J26nB181_p0403c10為角貝歙張之震且死至再至三則恬不為怪而驚J26nB181_p0403c11悸之疾愈矣然不問症候之所從起概以此法施之J26nB181_p0403c12癆瘵尪羸之前則亦未有不煩冤致死者也

故在六J26nB181_p0403c13朝以上人專福業其于聖也為高遠其于疾也為驚J26nB181_p0403c14法用鼓張角貝之術若夫世道交喪人心日以怠J26nB181_p0403c15荒矣則法用勸營功德妙嚴像設俾動其攀援哀慕J26nB181_p0403c16之思此法在補虛損實所宜用也
