康熙壬子四月佛誕忠南合郡縉紳士庶四眾等請J40nB485_p0279b04師住振宗禪寺入院上堂拈啟云:「鳥篆蟲文雲龍風J40nB485_p0279b05裕後光前立賓立主如何是賓主混融一句試道J40nB485_p0279b06。」宣畢師以拄杖擊法座云:「祖有祖制佛有佛規J40nB485_p0279b07僧據令而行這裡容你不得。」遂陞座拈香祝J40nB485_p0279b08聖畢次拈香云:「此瓣香寶聖山中得來治平堂上拈出J40nB485_p0279b09看來不直半文卻也恩同海嶽爇向爐中供養臨濟J40nB485_p0279b10正宗第二十六世慶忠鐵壁先師大和尚用酬法乳J40nB485_p0279b11之恩。」斂衣就座上首白椎畢師豎拄杖云:「太阿堅J40nB485_p0279b12毛利十聖三賢莫能避斫普賢脛斷文殊臂無容顧J40nB485_p0279b13後瞻前那許沉言滯句有麼?」僧出便喝師便打僧復J40nB485_p0279b14師復打僧歸眾師連打乃云:「迅雷風烈擎斧豎鉞J40nB485_p0279b15虎驟龍驤應時及節。」喝一喝云:「還會麼茲乃郡侯劉J40nB485_p0279b16公暨合郡縉紳士庶等不忘先師記莂之諄托付之J40nB485_p0279b17特迎山野住持治平繼茲院事即此不獨光輝法J40nB485_p0279b18亦且因齋慶祝如何是慶祝的句浴佛日雨初晴J40nB485_p0279b19人天皈仰景運昇平黃鶯囀杜宇嚬龍象集水雲臻J40nB485_p0279b20高懸鞀鐸普洒甘霖。」喝一喝云:「雖然舊閣閑田地J40nB485_p0279b21度贏來一度新。」

臘八上堂。「道悟明星曲不藏直一恁前三後三何妨J40nB485_p0279b23趙甲錢乙玉兔趁金烏推車又觸壁誰是出頭人J40nB485_p0279b24汝諮端的有麼有麼?」眾無出乃云:「陽九陰六陰六陽J40nB485_p0279b25小往大來逆數順數無窮數看看數至一年零J40nB485_p0279b26屋梅花開又萎。」復豎拄杖:「惟有這箇不屬變遷。」J40nB485_p0279b27一卓:「在在和泥合土既是不屬變遷因甚和泥合J40nB485_p0279b28?」良久:「一歲二春牛頭鼠尾。」

佛誕啟華嚴會上堂。「九龍吐水天外來捧足金盤從J40nB485_p0279b30地至日輪瑞應降皇宮承斯共建無生會如何是無J40nB485_p0279c01生一句莫是指天指地大口開張得麼莫是摩竭J40nB485_p0279c02提國三七思維沒處啟口得麼莫是不離菩提而J40nB485_p0279c03揚七處九會說理說事權實雙行一音演唱得麼J40nB485_p0279c04若會得這三錯始知釋迦老漢始從光耀土終至跋J40nB485_p0279c05陀河于是二中間未曾說一字既無一字且道這八J40nB485_p0279c06十一卷又從甚處得來?」復舉:「東印土國王請西天二J40nB485_p0279c07十七祖般若多羅齋齋畢王曰:『和尚何不轉經?』祖曰J40nB485_p0279c08貧道出息不涉眾緣入息不居蘊界常轉如是經百J40nB485_p0279c09千萬億卷豈止一卷兩卷?』」師云:「祖師恁麼應答大似J40nB485_p0279c10靈龜拽尾拂跡成痕殊不知既云出入早已蘊在陰J40nB485_p0279c11涉在眾緣又何常離得泥水葛藤今日設有人問J40nB485_p0279c12山僧:『還轉得經否?』但向道:『清晨一缽粥齋後一杯茶J40nB485_p0279c13長伸兩腳臥別有好生涯』。若云:『這長老恁麼道豈不J40nB485_p0279c14違背經義?』但向道:『真金自有真金價終不和沙賣與J40nB485_p0279c15。』」

重陽解制上堂豎拂子:「爐鞴新開四月頭三三兩J40nB485_p0279c17兩無空缺不貴按豆遮晴唯喜證龜成鱉報諸人J40nB485_p0279c18間歇本來面目看時節且道是甚時節?」擲下拂子J40nB485_p0279c19金風催落葉黃花燦晚秋。」

臘八上堂驀拈拄杖云:「還見麼昔時這日釋迦將無J40nB485_p0279c21作有治平今日指有言空總屬烏焉成馬喚甕作鐘J40nB485_p0279c22大似捏目生花無病著灸即今座下莫有不被瞞頇J40nB485_p0279c23者麼如無山僧自定當去也己酉年是月終梅鬥雪J40nB485_p0279c24霜露濃千峰飛蛺蝶遍界瑞盈空開正眼兆年J40nB485_p0279c25人及第悟心空還識心空及第麼?」復以拄杖畫○云J40nB485_p0279c26夜半明星當晝朗無端拈出又重新。」

慶忠老人盡九四眾請陞座拈香畢豎拂子喝一喝J40nB485_p0280a23:「楊岐三腳驢無端添隻角觸碎崑崙山踏翻海底J40nB485_p0280a24而今解作獅子吼百獸聞之頭腦裂正恁麼時J40nB485_p0280a25何是全體大用?」喝一喝:「此日恰逢九九宇宙乾坤J40nB485_p0280a26作口森羅萬象齊來共揚慶忠家醜且那箇是家醜J40nB485_p0280a27憶昔先師寓白嵒時山野同眾侍立次先師舉良J40nB485_p0280a28久公案驗眾山野云:『也是屋裡販楊州。』先師云:『汝等J40nB485_p0280a29諸人莫道無事好。』山野云:『和尚也是無端。』先師便掌J40nB485_p0280a30山野便喝先師云:『異日不得辜負老僧。』山野作禮J40nB485_p0280b01隨老人過高梁寓五雲堂山野病起一日呈偈云:『J40nB485_p0280b02頭換面幾生來此日無端眼豁開吩付目前皮袋子J40nB485_p0280b03從教馬腹與驢胎。』先師徵云:『那箇是你豁開眼?』山野J40nB485_p0280b04豎起拳頭先師云:『何不放下著?』山野便放下先師云J40nB485_p0280b05又在甚麼處?』山野云:『明日同大眾侍和尚金城齋。』J40nB485_p0280b06師云:『放你三十棒。』山野珍重而出後先師應向化侯J40nB485_p0280b07譚公請住寶聖命山野監院一日入方丈先師豎起J40nB485_p0280b08山野便喝先師云:『見什麼便喝?』山野云:『無柰院事J40nB485_p0280b09甚繁。』先師遂以偈囑曰:『寶聖叢中獅子兒十年院裡J40nB485_p0280b10布全威于今奮迅機無畏吼向人天自有時。』自來絡J40nB485_p0280b11雖是往日葛藤莫道不相干涉茲乃先師盡九J40nB485_p0280b12非山野露醜張乖卻與大眾應個時節。」以拄杖擊案J40nB485_p0280b13:「騎虎頭把虎尾鸑鷟麒麟龍孫鳳子治平堂上唱J40nB485_p0280b14卷阿錦水金鱗燒赤尾布慈雲洒甘雨這回特地斬J40nB485_p0280b15雙徑葛藤又理。」復喝一喝

說戒上堂。「寒風吹廣漠嵩嶺雪齊腰消息梅先露J40nB485_p0280b17候不相饒無端著賺英靈來此開眼作夢竿頭進步J40nB485_p0280b18則易平地打脫則難不薦袈裟裹草鞋偏取探珠宜J40nB485_p0280b19浪靜恁麼不恁麼非得亦非證。」驀豎拂子:「還委悉J40nB485_p0280b20優波離尊者來也。」

上元節陳文學暨眾淨信建千佛道場請上堂。「直饒J40nB485_p0280b22將虛空作口草木微塵作舌說得大千粉碎佛祖結J40nB485_p0280b23依然巴水向東流南辰朝北闕不見長沙岑和尚J40nB485_p0280b24一日閱千佛名經》,時張拙相公問曰:『千佛名在這裡J40nB485_p0280b25未審千佛在甚麼處說法?』岑云:『黃鶴樓詩崔灝題過J40nB485_p0280b26相公題也未?』拙云:『不曾。』岑曰:『得閒題一首好。』」師云:「J40nB485_p0280b27公舍近圖遠張拙當面熱瞞不惟累及崔公更要點J40nB485_p0280b28污千佛雖然如是怎柰蟻從羶處聚蠅逐臭邊飛J40nB485_p0280b29因黃鶴韻鏗鏘那討千佛說法處即如今日一會J40nB485_p0280b30佛名總在這裡未審千佛又向甚處說法?」良久顧視J40nB485_p0280c01左右:「元宵佳節頻歌舞處處咸然無盡燈。」

臘八日說戒上堂。「雪積高山霜鋪平地明明百艸頭J40nB485_p0280c26歷歷祖師意何勞繩自縛空負沙揀金黃面睹星悟J40nB485_p0280c27都云夢眼空花神光斷臂雪腰總是伎窮力極J40nB485_p0280c28如桐山這裡渴飲饑餐勤眠熱覺以日月兩輪為衣J40nB485_p0280c29以古往今來為定限以草木微塵為偈咒以盡十J40nB485_p0280c30方世界為袈裟臥具亦任諸大德入乎其中出乎其J40nB485_p0281a01不持而持不受而受說甚三千威儀八萬細行J40nB485_p0281a02裡薦得始信高沙彌不登戒壇其或未然待拄杖子J40nB485_p0281a03再與通箇消息。」卓一卓遂說戒

解制上堂僧問:「若人欲識佛境界當淨其意如虛空J40nB485_p0281a05虛空且置如何是佛境界?」師云:「天高地厚。」進云:「猶是J40nB485_p0281a06聲色活計。」師便打乃云:「九九八十一看看今日畢J40nB485_p0281a07下事如何年年向此夕解開布袋口畜生驢馬走J40nB485_p0281a08過上頭關遍地獅兒吼所以道盡大地是箇禪床J40nB485_p0281a09大地是沙門一隻眼盡大地是個話頭盡大地是供J40nB485_p0281a10以如是人坐如是床以如是人具如是眼以如是J40nB485_p0281a11人參如是話頭以如是人受如是供養綿綿密密J40nB485_p0281a12昂藏藏東湧西沒南湧北沒中湧邊沒高堅前後J40nB485_p0281a13瞻鑽忽不解而解不結而結如是而解如是而結J40nB485_p0281a14方薄伽梵一路涅槃門。」喝一喝:「還會麼茲乃九十J40nB485_p0281a15日禪期方畢眾淨信積悃既中加功宜表到這裡J40nB485_p0281a16野無可為說但向道箇福無量壽無量因無量果無J40nB485_p0281a17功勛無量記莂無量無量無量不可說不可說J40nB485_p0281a18等與眾生皆共成佛道。」卓一卓

建千佛道場請陞座師云:「出隊逢殘臘攜笻入遠村J40nB485_p0281a20誰家伶利子相共話知音?」開明居士出畫一圓相J40nB485_p0281a21便喝士于圓相中一點師復喝士拂袖歸眾師云:「J40nB485_p0281a22是知音徒呈伎倆。」乃云:「此日逢法席千聖齊雲集J40nB485_p0281a23息是誰傳嶺梅香噴鼻莫昧好良因大家齊著力。」J40nB485_p0281a24豎掌云:「還見麼?」遂撫案云:「還聞麼若也共見共聞J40nB485_p0281a25此番功不浪施其或未然山僧不惜兩莖眉更與重J40nB485_p0281a26下註腳昔廣額屠兒于世尊涅槃會上擲下屠刀便J40nB485_p0281a27:『我是千佛一數。』世尊便授記今辰乃玉乾黎善士J40nB485_p0281a28建千佛道場賑幽布福看來卻與世尊涅槃一會不J40nB485_p0281a29是中若男若女乃僧乃俗各各所稟智慧刀惟恐J40nB485_p0281a30不肯放下若肯放下則人人千佛個個屠兒舉足下J40nB485_p0281b01足總皆增勝福田出有入無盡是屠兒應跡山僧恁J40nB485_p0281b02麼舉似會中設有個旁不肯的出來道:『佛之一字J40nB485_p0281b03不喜聞。』山僧只得無言可對如無還須把本宣科J40nB485_p0281b04儀作範他年優缽花開日果證同歸功德林。」復喝一J40nB485_p0281b05

輝衢黎居士薦親禮千佛懺請陞座僧問:「凡聖交參J40nB485_p0281b07龍蛇混雜龍蛇混雜即不問凡聖交參事若何?」師云J40nB485_p0281b08這裡那容說凡說聖?」僧便喝師便打:「如何是清淨J40nB485_p0281b09法身?」師豎拄杖。「如何是圓滿報身?」師以拄杖畫圓相J40nB485_p0281b10如何是三類化身?」師于圓相畫十字僧歸眾師乃云J40nB485_p0281b11問三身答最親歷歷明明非佛非生人天交感千聖J40nB485_p0281b12雲臻摩頂授記滿願隨心而康而壽乃福乃榮這裡J40nB485_p0281b13猶有一句未道且道是那一句?」喝一喝:「大好報本J40nB485_p0281b14追親。」

初夏普說師云:「一年將過半今夜重打筭陽極始陰J40nB485_p0281b17流光急如箭若肯究時節何須重判斷試問諸人J40nB485_p0281b18還著忙也未不見古德云:『三分光陰二已過靈臺一J40nB485_p0281b19點不措磨歲月不知何處去喚不回頭爭柰何?』且道J40nB485_p0281b20喚甚麼作靈臺一點莫是開眼合眼麼莫是晝明夜J40nB485_p0281b21日往月來麼莫是鵲噪鴉鳴見聞知覺莫是春云J40nB485_p0281b22夏來陽消陰長麼若于開眼合眼晝明夜暗日往月J40nB485_p0281b23來處著亦是逐色違聲漢若于鵲噪鴉鳴見聞知覺J40nB485_p0281b24處著亦是揚聲止響漢若于消長盈虛往來順逆處J40nB485_p0281b25亦是逐境隨流漢若執此果然喚不回頭捨此J40nB485_p0281b26又當面錯過若是明眼漢如杲日當空明珠在握J40nB485_p0281b27眼也得合眼也得晝明夜暗也得日往月來也得J40nB485_p0281b28噪鴉鳴見聞知覺春去夏來秋去冬來總得辟如天J40nB485_p0281b29地無不持載無不覆幬更說甚麼靈臺一點二分三J40nB485_p0281b30細則入于微塵廣則包于沙界無一物不具無一J40nB485_p0281c01處不遍小德川流大德敦化到這裡間不容髮倘如J40nB485_p0281c02思前筭後得失是非不唯錯過目前時節只饒從威J40nB485_p0281c03音王已前展轉至樓至佛已後也不得這一點的受J40nB485_p0281c04試問大眾且道是那一點?」驀豎拂子:「還委悉麼J40nB485_p0281c05能為萬象主不逐四時凋。」

諦觀象季學者多是衒虛名圖利養身在叢林心趨J40nB485_p0282a14異域此法席未終彼妄念復起逐日朝東暮西奔南J40nB485_p0282a15走北那有半點參學實落念頭正如做虛圈套人上J40nB485_p0282a16身無百錢卻去張舖標名李舖顯字其實囊底空J40nB485_p0282a17腰間空乏又有一種學得口頭禪幾句設有人問J40nB485_p0282a18他也扯草湊籃答語作頌殊不知總屬虛頭更有一J40nB485_p0282a19種身威儀而心挾雜不唯名利不除而且餘習未盡J40nB485_p0282a20到處誇經紀闡才能如此等類欲學菩提終莫能得J40nB485_p0282a21既欲力究此事先須立定腳跟將從前雜毒打屏淨J40nB485_p0282a22單提本參話頭無論積年累月朝參暮參行參坐J40nB485_p0282a23到無可參處忽然翻轉面門運出自己家珍一任J40nB485_p0282a24利人利物報佛報親有時轉山河大地歸自己有時J40nB485_p0282a25轉自己歸山河大地南北東西人間天上言為則J40nB485_p0282a26為法光顯祖庭經紀後世始不負出家之志如一向J40nB485_p0282a27冒名虛誑門外之遶不惟彌勒下生沒柰爾何直饒J40nB485_p0282a28千佛出興亦無如之何也

師住聚雲時縣尹湯公至:「如何是三寶?」師豎指請J40nB485_p0282b16公云:「此是據實問。」師云:「山野亦是據實答。」公復問J40nB485_p0282b17令師與破山和尚俱皆用棒。」師云:「莫謗家師好。」公曰J40nB485_p0282b18何以故?」師云:「家師有時用有時不用。」公曰:「有等禪師J40nB485_p0282b19常用如何?」師曰:「若常用則非也。」公曰:「令師既不常用J40nB485_p0282b20將何接物利生?」師云:「或乘獅子或駕象王逢強即弱J40nB485_p0282b21遇柔則剛。」公曰:「此義幽深。」遂作辭而去
