昭覺竹峰續禪師語錄序
J40nB479_p0115a02余少壯時,喜偕二三及門讀書山寺,聆晨鐘暮鼓,以J40nB479_p0115a03為夙興夜寐、砥礪讀書者之一助。每講說經史,窮極J40nB479_p0115a04搜討,散懷閒步,愛揖宗老禪伯談證西來意旨,輒亹J40nB479_p0115a05亹忘倦。於是儒釋交融,機鋒湊泊,樂把余臂入林者J40nB479_p0115a06數公,如放雲之嘯堂、楓溪之省庵二老,皆前輩也。余J40nB479_p0115a07縛舉子業,久麗塵網,頓遠超悟。今出宰成華,陳陳劫J40nB479_p0115a08劫,惟徵逐風塵,歸途極目。當天霽時,片刻與西山太J40nB479_p0115a09古雪冷然相對而已。昭覺、古林間從旗亭送客,鞭絲J40nB479_p0115a10東指,以為此中大有人在,則續公是也。予之見續公J40nB479_p0115a11者,數多以事,不及參竹篦,而續公視余,亦以俗吏故,J40nB479_p0115a12茶瓜外兩無訓答。雲行水流,余二人之謂歟?今秋閏,J40nB479_p0115a13適家道州刺史淑公來蜀,訪勝尋幽,得遇續公坐古J40nB479_p0115a14桂下,正當樨香撲鼻,無隱之旨親相證矣。遂出禪藻J40nB479_p0115a15若干卷,索序於道州,而道州轉以屬余。夫道州與續J40nB479_p0115a16公相證於古桂下者云何?云何而乃以屬余,余非門J40nB479_p0115a17外漢耶?門外人說門內事,不獨續公笑余,道州應先J40nB479_p0115a18笑余矣。雖然,續公語錄具在,余於簿書之暇,挑燈一J40nB479_p0115a19讀,依然如少壯時在山寺中與禪伯、宗老相談證,亹J40nB479_p0115a20亹忘倦而已,正不必援儒入釋,強附知音也。漫為序。

序
J40nB479_p0115b12夫執語言文字以為道,非也;離語言文字以為道,亦J40nB479_p0115b13非也。昔達摩東來,直接上根,心不傳而傳、法無說而J40nB479_p0115b14說,迄今支分派衍,祖祖相承,燈燈相續,其間珠聯壁J40nB479_p0115b15合,廣布流通,總以利益後人,開悟知見,為大法光明J40nB479_p0115b16地,豈曰小補之哉?竹峰續禪師者,世本松人,其母誕J40nB479_p0115b17時得夢兆,即許出家。後因誦《法華經》有疑,遂辭親至J40nB479_p0115b18會城,參昭覺本師老和尚,不數年,盡得其源流。會余J40nB479_p0115b19奉命駐節松鎮,久聞其名而未之見也。歲庚辰,以戎J40nB479_p0115b20政之暇,覽勝雪山,池名七實,洞顯黃龍,霧靄雲橫,堆J40nB479_p0115b21璚疊翠,信古聖修真養道之所。惜乎歲久基廢,因合J40nB479_p0115b22諸同志闢荊除莽,建立花宮,爰請和尚為雪山主席。J40nB479_p0115b23居未閱歲,因本師年老,速師歸,主持昭覺院事。歷年J40nB479_p0115b24來,其語錄并機緣、頌古、書問、雜著班班具在,嗣法門J40nB479_p0115b25人實悟等敬請刊布,以垂後學,問序於余。余夙慕宗J40nB479_p0115b26乘,用廣法音,樂香山之雅會,邀慧遠以同遊,故言是J40nB479_p0115b27道,即連篇累牘不以為多;言而非道,雖一字猶贅也。J40nB479_p0115b28嗟乎!如續公者,真可謂片言心印,川月皆圓,觸處靈J40nB479_p0115b29通,隨機發現,揚宗風於廢苑,開覺路於鶴林,無愛無J40nB479_p0115b30憂,顯無生之妙諦,一瓶一缽,折般若之根源,與壁觀J40nB479_p0115c01默示者有同乎?否耶?曰:是則同。

J40nB479_p0115c22余方齠齡,頗喜談象教而樂遨遊,凡所過名山大川、J40nB479_p0115c23叢林古剎,即流連不合,樂以忘歸。於庚寅歲,緣銅街J40nB479_p0115c24之碌碌,聞玉壘峨山形勝甲於天下,由燕臺來蜀,省J40nB479_p0115c25家成都公於錦官署,即楊子雲故居也。常與二三友J40nB479_p0115c26朋刻燭分題,歷覽諸勝,登少陵之草堂,乃旋而之北,J40nB479_p0115c27訪昭覺寺,謁竹峰續禪師。見夫方丈崇宏,金容焜燿,J40nB479_p0115c28復稚香滿院,清芬襲裾,境甚幽也;評泉試茗,談論亹J40nB479_p0115c29亹不倦,情甚洽也。斯時也,予蓋樂以忘歸矣。且出所J40nB479_p0115c30著語錄若干卷屬余序,而請家成都公亦弁其首焉。J40nB479_p0116a01反覆讀之,意固軒爽,語更俊快,奚僅參透三昧,得上J40nB479_p0116a02乘法,重見曹溪宗旨,駕慧遠諸公,發明西來大意已J40nB479_p0116a03哉?且儒家流也。異日者闡揚大乘,為西蜀之宗主者,J40nB479_p0116a04其在竹峰乎?東坡云:「時文凋獘僧雄強,但鳴風雅非J40nB479_p0116a05鼓譽。」今於竹峰見之,蓋不啻受一番棒喝矣。噫嘻!余J40nB479_p0116a06宦海驅馳二十餘年,風塵鞅掌,筆墨久荒,未卜何日J40nB479_p0116a07芒鞋竹杖,相與晨夕聯床,親聆奧旨,以醒迷途而登J40nB479_p0116a08彼岸也?興言及此,依依不忍舍,昔人所嘆相見時難J40nB479_p0116a09別亦難,良有以夫!余歸記於子雲亭,乃問竹峰:「請即J40nB479_p0116a10以此為序,可乎?」竹峰頷而笑曰:「可。」

J40nB479_p0116b02西蜀形勝,頗異他州。玉壘之高,岷江之湥,其間多產J40nB479_p0116b03異人。名山峻閣,在在皆有,而蓉城為最。錦官僧院,又J40nB479_p0116b04以昭覺為最。地近省會,路通南北,高僧名衲,往往住J40nB479_p0116b05錫於斯。開建以來,代有禪師。本朝之初,先有破山禪J40nB479_p0116b06師,繼之以丈禪師,又繼之以冤禪師,源流有自,宗風J40nB479_p0116b07益彰,誠難乎為繼。今則繼之以竹峰禪師,蓋能集三J40nB479_p0116b08師之大成者也。師本松山巨族,生而穎異,幼入空門,J40nB479_p0116b09矢志禪關,頓悟宗旨,苦行五十餘年,專以清靜為心,J40nB479_p0116b10慈悲為教。益州士庶,咸受指迷,即省會文武官長,莫J40nB479_p0116b11不崇禮竹師。師每以清靜可為政、慈悲足愛人,為諸J40nB479_p0116b12宰官言之。宰官因其言而清靜,則蜀地獲寧;因其言J40nB479_p0116b13而慈悲,則蜀人被澤。師在昭覺,非徒寂滅自治,實大J40nB479_p0116b14有益蜀人。師之功德在世,道行在躬,惟見性明心,開J40nB479_p0116b15示後學。若夫語言文字,其緒餘也,非師之所尚也。而J40nB479_p0116b16受法弟子,欲因文章之可聞,求性道之不可聞,乃集J40nB479_p0116b17師生平語錄為若干卷,將以繼昭覺三禪師之傳焉。J40nB479_p0116b18弟子彌佑、洪演、彌願等,受法甚久,信道甚篤,奉師語J40nB479_p0116b19錄,不遠萬里,送入浙嘉華藏,用垂永久。念可謂誠,功J40nB479_p0116b20可謂苦,良由師之善誨誘,入人湥切,故眾弟子佩服J40nB479_p0116b21忘勞也。由此永住昭覺,修己化人,其闡揚禪教,寧有J40nB479_p0116b22既哉!不揣荒謬,敬為之序。

J40nB479_p0117c02 J40nB479_p0117c03壬午年二月初四日,於松潘西崇山無量寺受本師J40nB479_p0117c04手劄,及本省當道文武、諸大護法、概同門昆眾、兩序、J40nB479_p0117c05諸山紳衿、檀信等公啟,請主昭覺,辭眾上堂。詣法座J40nB479_p0117c06云:「親承師召,難已措辭。昭覺門庭,豈容擬議?是則是J40nB479_p0117c07也,要兩得相稱。」拈啟云:「者個是老人親書,不是畫餅J40nB479_p0117c08四字。命正義、洪演、常印、常仁、彌佑、法洪等不遠千里J40nB479_p0117c09而來,專請續頭陀上祖庭主持法席的一道公券,不J40nB479_p0117c10妨對眾拈出。」宣畢便陞,問答不錄。乃云:「東風拂柳,杲J40nB479_p0117c11日騰輝。玉壘山頭,剛剛伸出摩霄手;白蓮池畔,聲聲J40nB479_p0117c12識的地頭人。不惟本願應老人命,真續於此卓席四J40nB479_p0117c13十餘年,幾經辛辣,方成法社。意欲桑榆故里,絕志林J40nB479_p0117c14泉,誓不與人敲枷打鎖,唐突大方。蓋謂老人年登耄J40nB479_p0117c15齡,難已應酬,湥念化門撐柱乏人,只得揚下鈯斧子,J40nB479_p0117c16掀翻折腳鐺,不敢違命,荷擔佛祖大任。古德云:『去即J40nB479_p0117c17是住,住即是去,去住自由,人天乞命。』」顧眾云:「我本無J40nB479_p0117c18心有所希求,今此寶藏自然而至。」喝一喝。

J40nB479_p0117c20三門。云:「乾坤作殿,日月為門,八字打開,亦任縱橫。王J40nB479_p0117c21令甚嚴,投明須進,續頭陀到此,出入無禁。」
J40nB479_p0117c22彌勒。「睹史陀天別後,昭覺寺裏重逢。明州市上幾多J40nB479_p0117c23年,一物渾無布袋中。」
J40nB479_p0117c24天王。「物我同仁,赤膽忠心,輔弼叢林,內外肅靜。起惡J40nB479_p0117c25心者,遠百由旬,四方常擁護,令一切安穩。」
J40nB479_p0117c26韋馱。「同氣相酬,同聲相應。雲從龍,風從虎,聖人作而J40nB479_p0117c27萬物睹。」
J40nB479_p0117c28佛殿。「老瞿曇威雄凜冽,續上座歷戰沙場,二尊宿誅J40nB479_p0117c29茅僻土,奠立封疆,不惟光前裕後,亦要判驗諸方。」
J40nB479_p0117c30伽藍。「律令森嚴,主賓互換,君臣道合,至化幽顯。賞罰J40nB479_p0118a01分明興祖域,安邦定國弘灶鑑。」
J40nB479_p0118a02祖師。「應機接物,以法利生。魔宮虎穴,劍樹刀林吞。從J40nB479_p0118a03今結個忘年友,起坐逢迎不讓伊。」
J40nB479_p0118a04詣座云:「寶華王座,獨露當陽,到即便登,有何回互?」卓J40nB479_p0118a05拄杖一喝便登。拈香云:「此瓣香德配天地,道貫古今,J40nB479_p0118a06篆則光吞宇宙,薰則瑞靄乾坤,爇向寶爐,祝延今上J40nB479_p0118a07皇帝聖躬萬歲萬歲萬萬歲,伏願帝德巍巍,四海祝無J40nB479_p0118a08疆之壽;皇風蕩蕩,八方歌大有之年。再祝儲君王子、J40nB479_p0118a09輔相大臣、滿朝文武、闔國公卿,永作擎天玉柱,常為J40nB479_p0118a10架海金梁,九流共沐,百藝咸霑。此瓣香柄寰中之化J40nB479_p0118a11育,權閫外之樞機,恭惟本省文武諸大護法,推願擁J40nB479_p0118a12山河於百代,衛社稷於千秋,柱石宗門,金湯法化。此J40nB479_p0118a13瓣香凌霜傲雪四十餘年,今日囊藏不住,只得和盤J40nB479_p0118a14托出,此是第一回拈向爐中供養本堂J40nB479_p0118a15御書樓傳臨濟正宗第三十三世上佛下冤本師老和J40nB479_p0118a16尚,惟冀壽算彌堅,轉不生不滅法輪;德嶽崇高,現無J40nB479_p0118a17去無來法身。」斂衣就座。上首拍椎竟,師以手作托盤J40nB479_p0118a18勢,云:「和盤托出大家看,智鑑光寒不夜天,殊勝殿前J40nB479_p0118a19雄一步,一生竟不受人瞞。眾中有不受人瞞者,試出J40nB479_p0118a20相見。」乃云:「錦江波煖,喚回天地公心;雪嶺風清,吐出J40nB479_p0118a21乾坤正氣。孤峰頂上,龍吟虎嘯;選佛堂中,鳳唱鸞吟。J40nB479_p0118a22應老人命,不顧危亡,於斯開單展缽,建立天童宗旨,J40nB479_p0118a23闡揚昭覺門庭。所以,法不孤起,仗境方生;道不虛行,J40nB479_p0118a24遇緣即應。法隨法行,法幢隨處建立,要且無事道人,J40nB479_p0118a25何妨單瓢隻杖?若欲超宗越格,直趨萬仞峰頭,權衡J40nB479_p0118a26佛祖,號令人天,不惟光揚祖席,亦且不振家聲。新長J40nB479_p0118a27老到來,還有為人處也無?」卓拄杖,云:「孤明一鑑皆驚J40nB479_p0118a28駭,真勝全歸掌握中。」
J40nB479_p0118a29據室。「應機接物,以法利生,佛祖規鑑,互相傳持。灰頭J40nB479_p0118a30垢面,開人天正路;逢場作戲,轉根本法輪。白棒麤拳,J40nB479_p0118b01立叫泥人作佛;紅爐烈焰,郎使鐵面寒心。天上人間,J40nB479_p0118b02何妨垂手?魔宮虎穴,亦任橫身。金獅子踢倒銀墻,直J40nB479_p0118b03上梵天;玉象王撞穿鐵壁,喚也不回。十方龍象,兵隨J40nB479_p0118b04將轉;滿堂雲水,令逐符行。續上座據此,把斷要關,不J40nB479_p0118b05通凡聖。」拈拄杖,云:「放下缽盂,不安把柄。」
J40nB479_p0118b06上堂。問答畢,乃云:「呵佛罵祖,毒蛇頭上揩癢;說性談J40nB479_p0118b07心,饑鷹爪下奪食。昭覺無事討事,向虛空掘洞活埋,J40nB479_p0118b08萬里雲煙、滿堂雲水,薦取碗底箸頭,掃卻支解根蒂,J40nB479_p0118b09那管他東家牛滲卵、西家馬出鵝,羊擇乾處尿、驢揀J40nB479_p0118b10濕處屙?咦!是橋頭西石土地,口口聲聲羅羅哩。阿呵J40nB479_p0118b11呵!也大奇,路逢劍客須呈劍,不是詩人不現詩。咄!咄!J40nB479_p0118b12咄!」
J40nB479_p0118b13中元,上堂。「秋潭月影,靜夜鐘聲,一段光明,靈靈不昧。J40nB479_p0118b14到這裏,步步踏著,三賢膽顫、十地魂驚,呼喚不回、牢J40nB479_p0118b15籠不住,如壯士屈臂,不借他力,方許少分相應。脫或J40nB479_p0118b16依稀,便是落空亡外道、魂不散的死人,塞耳偷鈴以J40nB479_p0118b17徒自欺。果爾,眼裏有筋、皮下有血,不妨相視不得。▆J40nB479_p0118b18門傍戶聚頭妄誕,趁慣時光以當了事禪和者哉。▆J40nB479_p0118b19瞞碗底筋頭,與諸人公驗分明在,縱饒千聖出頭來,J40nB479_p0118b20終沒交涉,必盡鏟除。動靜絕跡潛蹤一句作麼生聻?J40nB479_p0118b21真金不怕轟天火,爐燄豈藏蚊蚋身?」
J40nB479_p0118b22上堂。「老瞿曇拋磚引玉,迦葉婆承虛接嚮,正法眼藏J40nB479_p0118b23委在今時,般若真燈輝鑒斯日。所以金鳳不群,具五J40nB479_p0118b24色髓,現大人境,具大根器,直下承當,無向無背,全身J40nB479_p0118b25獨露,絕聞絕跡,於一切處不為一切所拘。如斯韜略,J40nB479_p0118b26則百千法門、無量妙義,一彈指頃轉大法輪,建化法J40nB479_p0118b27中斯為可矣。若論衲僧分上,只向懸巖撒手,劍刃橫J40nB479_p0118b28身,娑婆擲向他方,妙喜拈來此土,不假思惟,悉皆具J40nB479_p0118b29足。且道承誰恩力得恁麼奇特?」良久,云:「青山況是吾J40nB479_p0118b30家物,不用尋家別問津。」
J40nB479_p0118c01結制,通省會眾姓營齋,請上堂。詣法堂,指座云:「佛祖J40nB479_p0118c02門庭,人天標榜,最初一步踏著,直向千峰頂上,且道J40nB479_p0118c03是甚麼人行履處?」卓拄杖云:「高著眼。」遂陞。拈香云:「此J40nB479_p0118c04瓣香,光輝海嶽,瑞兆權衡,威音那畔拾來,人天眾前J40nB479_p0118c05捧出,爇向爐中,祝延今上J40nB479_p0118c06皇帝聖躬萬歲萬歲萬萬歲,伏願帝德崇隆,聖躬彌固,J40nB479_p0118c07再祝儲君王子睿算千秋,輔佐群臣高增祿位。此瓣J40nB479_p0118c08香,貴則娑婆價滿,賤則掌內無文,爇向爐中,奉為本J40nB479_p0118c09省文武諸大護法、十方檀越、現前眾等,同承般若之J40nB479_p0118c10正因,共證金剛之種智。此瓣香,不產陸地,豈屬陰陽?J40nB479_p0118c11篆則玲瓏八面,結則八面玲瓏,此是第二回拈出,供J40nB479_p0118c12養本堂J40nB479_p0118c13御書樓傳臨濟正宗第三十三世上佛下冤老和尚,用J40nB479_p0118c14酬法乳之恩。」斂衣敷座。維那拍椎竟,問:「正令既輝洞J40nB479_p0118c15口,釣竿垂下灘頭,赤尾金鱗如何得取?」師云:「一釣便J40nB479_p0118c16上。」進云:「垂絲千尺,意在深潭,鐵額銅睛,如何抵對?」師J40nB479_p0118c17震威一喝。進云:「和尚陞座,眾姓設齋,施者受者,功歸J40nB479_p0118c18何處?」師云:「謝供養。」進云:「恁麼則禹門三汲浪,平地一J40nB479_p0118c19聲雷。」師云:「也是無端特地。」問:「明心見性,如何不得禪J40nB479_p0118c20定智慧?」師云:「因為汝有禪定智慧在。」問:「八百獅子吼J40nB479_p0118c21秦川,地搖六震,因何終南山不點頭?」師云:「不是故鄉J40nB479_p0118c22人不親。」乃云:「玄機獨唱,千聖難窺;截斷眾流,萬聖莫J40nB479_p0118c23測。舉起天回地轉,放下草偃風行。山頭鼓浪,弘開選J40nB479_p0118c24佛期場;井底揚塵,高建煆凡爐韝。掀翻海嶽,平匡佛J40nB479_p0118c25祖大機;絕透玄微,揭示人天正眼。真元湛淨,足跟下J40nB479_p0118c26嚴霜凜凜;智鑑精明,眉毛上杲日騰騰。以一統眾,穿J40nB479_p0118c27窠穴於毫端;補短截長,握秤尺於掌內。前後際斷,始J40nB479_p0118c28終不畹。到這裏,人天膽落,佛祖心寒,不妨虎口橫身,J40nB479_p0118c29亦恁懸巖撒手。且道坐斷當陽,虛空失色一句作麼J40nB479_p0118c30生聻?」喝一喝,云:「意氣不從天地得,英雄豈待四時推?」
J40nB479_p0119a01上堂。「氣判元初,始終不離於當念;象分造化,自他不J40nB479_p0119a02隔於毫端。無邊剎海,全現一毛頭上;涉世古今,總歸J40nB479_p0119a03寶王剎裏。當軒坐斷,還他水泄不通;八字打開,亦任J40nB479_p0119a04揚塵簸土。掀翻大海,摟碎虛空,處處本慈氏樓閣,堂J40nB479_p0119a05堂具善財莊嚴。挨到這裏沒當,也須借路傍通,縱饒J40nB479_p0119a06臨風快便,未免拂跡成痕。」橫按拄杖,顧眾云:「劍為不J40nB479_p0119a07平離寶匣,藥因救病出金瓶。」

J40nB479_p0119a13元旦,上堂。「盡大地是國王水土,無一物不受王恩;盡J40nB479_p0119a14十方是諸佛道場,無一日不為佛事。莫有知恩報恩J40nB479_p0119a15者麼?」顧眾云:「是我臬臺劉公大護法,仰瞻高厚,追念J40nB479_p0119a16昇沉,虔捐清俸,憲駕親臨,雲集合堂僧眾,登臨大雄J40nB479_p0119a17紺殿,諷誦七軸靈文,頂禮千佛寶懺,以斯善利酬不J40nB479_p0119a18酬之德、報不報之恩,光輝祖席,滋培慧命。所以,皇天J40nB479_p0119a19無二道、聖人無二心,如天普蓋、似地普擎,別是一種J40nB479_p0119a20三昧,王化、佛化兼行,現大人相,轉悲運心,調元自化,J40nB479_p0119a21恩育陽春。」遂爇檀片,云:「願祝仁風歌八表,佇布帝眷J40nB479_p0119a22錫三多。」
J40nB479_p0119a23上堂。「玄機展演,只貴知音;正法舒彰,單明向上。正▆J40nB479_p0119a24玉轉珠回,機先活潑,人人鼻直口橫,個個騎聲蓋▆,J40nB479_p0119a25擺脫身心,絕無回互,何須雲興百問,徒勞瓶瀉千言?J40nB479_p0119a26處處振濟北家風,頭頭現本來面目,喜樂清平,歌宣J40nB479_p0119a27盛化,頓空三際,橫遍十方,一念不生,前後際斷。正恁J40nB479_p0119a28麼時,還有商量處麼?」顧眾云:「當臺一鑑明如日,萬古J40nB479_p0119a29晴空絕是非。」
J40nB479_p0119a30解制,上堂。「判驗往來,一條白棒,大用頻施,玄機獨唱,J40nB479_p0119b01不落窠臼,全提向上,八面玲瓏,了無遮障,豎光明▆,J40nB479_p0119b02轉正法藏,頓令人天不落埋藏,遍界無影,觸處全真,J40nB479_p0119b03鑪鎚高建,拔楔抽釘,不容擬議,當下分明。」拂一拂,云:J40nB479_p0119b04「逢人且說三分話,未可全拋一片心。」
J40nB479_p0119b05四月八,上堂。問:「大覺世尊初生放光動地,昭覺如來J40nB479_p0119b06降誕是何祥瑞?」師云:「兩彩一賽。」進云:「古佛、今佛,同也?J40nB479_p0119b07別也?」師云:「瞿曇不先,山僧不後。」進云:「惟佛與佛乃能J40nB479_p0119b08知之,即今降誕同臨,以何法利人天?」師云:「諦聽,諦聽。」J40nB479_p0119b09進云:「說法不離多行海,談經湥處雨花飛。」師云:「更聽J40nB479_p0119b10言語轉周遮。」乃云:「黃面老瞿曇,遠孫續飯袋,一口慣J40nB479_p0119b11兩舌,盜盡十法界,苦海泛慈航,娑婆削滯礙,同途不J40nB479_p0119b12同轍,兩彩卻一賽,時節不相饒,生成個樣賊,風行草J40nB479_p0119b13偃兮拿雲喝月,虎穴魔宮生擒活捉,年年惡水潑頭J40nB479_p0119b14顱,歷歷神珠遭點額,昭覺今欲雪冤讎,不道吾儕齊J40nB479_p0119b15捉敗,雖然如是,瞿曇有甚長處丕讚如斯?」遂爇香,云:J40nB479_p0119b16「莫怪渠儂多意氣,旃檀紫柏一般馨。」
J40nB479_p0119b17川北鎮劉護法誕辰,請上堂。「昭覺中興法戰場,知音J40nB479_p0119b18今日共敷揚,全身高佩毘盧印,烜赫人天令必彰。作J40nB479_p0119b19麼生是毘盧印?」以手作印勢,云:「三世諸佛於此印中J40nB479_p0119b20轉大法輪;當今聖主於此印中日應萬機;輔佐臣僚J40nB479_p0119b21於此印中為國為民;我劉公大護法於此印中天保J40nB479_p0119b22九如、永作皇家柱石,帝眷三多、常為釋氏金湯;山僧J40nB479_p0119b23於此印中登寶王座、說法利生;現前大眾於此印中J40nB479_p0119b24腳跟點地、得大自在;一切寒林、有情無情於此印中J40nB479_p0119b25各證無生法忍。雖然如是,且道結角羅紋一句作麼J40nB479_p0119b26生道?」遂爇香,云:「願將補袞調羹手,大家扶起破沙盆。」
J40nB479_p0119b27本師誕日,上堂。「法雨清風滿院涼,桂花叢裏吐秋香,J40nB479_p0119b28一輪寶月當空照,大地山河盡放光。」拈拂子,打圓相,J40nB479_p0119b29云:「無量壽佛現也,大眾還見麼?若見,不勞真續敲鐘J40nB479_p0119b30擂鼓、說法陞堂;脫或未然,山僧與大眾略露些子。」遂J40nB479_p0119c01爇香,云:「赤手擎拳住祖庭,灰頭上面振家聲,寶華堂J40nB479_p0119c02上舒鵬翼,選佛堂前躍錦鱗,不惜莖眉光法化,弘將J40nB479_p0119c03大冶鍊真金,今辰申慶吾師壽,特敬慇懃表勝因。」
J40nB479_p0119c04結制,上堂。問:「爐鞴宏開,宗風大振,十二類眾生到來J40nB479_p0119c05如何煆鍊?」師云:「擊碎頂門。」進云:「古德人天送供,和尚J40nB479_p0119c06通省辦齋,意旨如何?」師云:「一字兩頭垂。」進云:「古人與J40nB479_p0119c07和尚是一是二?」師云:「八兩原來是半觔。」進云:「古今句J40nB479_p0119c08子如何親切?」師云:「惟佛與佛乃能知之。」進云:「仙樂迎J40nB479_p0119c09上寶華座,九重光裏現童真。」師云:「閒言語。」乃云:「獨露J40nB479_p0119c10當陽,傅佛祖心印;正令全提,開人天正眼。伶俐漢一J40nB479_p0119c11撥千轉,孟八郎白雲萬里。所以我宗道:『惟佛與佛乃J40nB479_p0119c12能知之。』秪貴當陽削盡根塵、掃除業識,亦恁橫眠豎J40nB479_p0119c13臥、去住自由,法法全彰、頭頭慶快,有時把住一塵不J40nB479_p0119c14染、有時放行萬彙咸霑,到此虛空失色、日月潛光,井J40nB479_p0119c15底星飛、須彌浪滾,三世諸佛傍入無門、天下衲僧截J40nB479_p0119c16舌有分。且道:利害在甚麼處?」橫按拄杖,云:「王令已行J40nB479_p0119c17天下遍,將軍塞外絕煙塵。」
J40nB479_p0119c18冬至,上堂。「碧天雲散盡,清霜徹骨寒,祖師西來意,笑J40nB479_p0119c19殺石欄干。咄!若向這裏許,秪貴承當。何以故?昭昭靈J40nB479_p0119c20靈,耳見眼聞,捲舒自由,亙古亙今,縱饒薦得,未肯自J40nB479_p0119c21親。且道自親個甚麼?」喝云:「龍從火裏出,虎向水邊生。」
J40nB479_p0119c22元旦,上堂。「冰消雪解,露出乾坤正氣;花發鶯啼,喚回J40nB479_p0119c23天地公心。萬象森羅,咸霑化育;山河大地,共沐恩榮。J40nB479_p0119c24人人頌堯天舜日,個個樂義化軒仁。春色平鋪,各秉J40nB479_p0119c25威靈;一天佳氣,齊承恩力。九有四生,悉具金剛正眼;J40nB479_p0119c26八難三途,共證無生法忍。若向這裏會得,水流風動,J40nB479_p0119c27盡談般若;鳥喚猿啼,歌唱陽春。雖然如是,且道林下J40nB479_p0119c28▆▆作麼生話會?」良久,云:「歲歲梅花和雪綻,年年楊J40nB479_p0119c29柳帶春垂。」
J40nB479_p0119c30解制,上堂。「把斷要津,不通凡聖,放開一線,還許商量。J40nB479_p0120a01且道商量甚麼?」良久,云:「大眾還會麼?若會,不勞山僧J40nB479_p0120a02搖唇鼓舌、簸土揚塵,人人分上不欠一毫,有甚商量?J40nB479_p0120a03脫或未然,山僧拄杖子與大眾略露些子。」遂拈柱杖,J40nB479_p0120a04卓一卓,喝一喝,云:「綠楊坡下寒泉美,從今不臥萬年J40nB479_p0120a05欄。」
J40nB479_p0120a06浴佛,上堂。拈拂子,拂一拂,云:「從上佛祖以此教化人J40nB479_p0120a07天,天下長老以此建立法幢,昭覺遠孫以此拋磚引J40nB479_p0120a08玉,現前大眾以此就水和泥,合國人民憑此一著報J40nB479_p0120a09恩已畢;脫或未然,番成兩橛。今辰是我黃面老瞿曇J40nB479_p0120a10遠孫真續母難之期,又兼通省會眾善特特來山供J40nB479_p0120a11佛飯僧,敦請山僧舉揚般若,說一口兩舌之佛法,斬J40nB479_p0120a12兩彩一賽之葛藤。雖然如是,舉一不得舉二。若向老J40nB479_p0120a13瞿曇分上,久以打失鼻孔,即此一著賣弄精神,含血J40nB479_p0120a14噴天,自污其面,禍至於今,回互無門;若向山僧分上,J40nB479_p0120a15住在今世門頭,荷擔佛祖大任,堪報不報之恩,以酬J40nB479_p0120a16罔酬之德。」拂一拂,云:「者個與佛同生,定不與佛同著,J40nB479_p0120a17全仗此公相扶,中興圓悟法窟。是則也是,檢點將來,J40nB479_p0120a18已是鄰家有火,仰借餘光。昭覺則不然,向矢上加尖,J40nB479_p0120a19與諸人頌出:黃面瞿曇老不羞,干進真續禍臨頭,鄰J40nB479_p0120a20家有火光前後,矢上加尖覺未酬。」
J40nB479_p0120a21端節,上堂。「光吞萬象,擲大千於方外;貴踰娑婆,納須J40nB479_p0120a22彌於孔中。人人具頂門正眼,個個握掌上玄機。真靈J40nB479_p0120a23混合,何用窮微?品彙咸滋,本乎自性。千江一月,物物J40nB479_p0120a24全彰大用;萬里無雲,塵塵現寶王剎。到者裏,亦任燈J40nB479_p0120a25籠起舞,露柱生歡。正法眼用廣流傳,滹沱道全仗匡J40nB479_p0120a26扶。八字打開,洞明直入。且道應時及節一句作麼生J40nB479_p0120a27聻?蒲劍一揮百草裂,山妖鼠怪盡潛蹤。」
J40nB479_p0120a28真玉宋居士建盂藍會,請上堂。「據寶華座,杲日當陽,J40nB479_p0120a29劍挂眉間,虛空失色。」默豎拂子,云:「拈起一塵不立,放J40nB479_p0120a30下萬有全彰,攪長河為酥酪,變大地作黃金,踏穿峨J40nB479_p0120b01眉月,坐斷三峽水,倒騎陝府鐵牛,歷遍支那國土,偕J40nB479_p0120b02目犍連尊者結物外之友,與現前大眾共打葛藤,一J40nB479_p0120b03剎那頃作大佛事、轉大法輪。且道:是神通妙用?是法J40nB479_p0120b04爾如然?於斯薦得,上至非非想處、下及空輪水際,越J40nB479_p0120b05十二類生,曠劫以前有情、無情一時成佛去也。脫或J40nB479_p0120b06躊躇,山僧麈尾略露些子。」拂一拂,云:「真玉來山結勝J40nB479_p0120b07緣,人人各獲兜羅綿,金牛莫當汾陽飯,喫著通身徹J40nB479_p0120b08骨寒。」
J40nB479_p0120b09發化主,上堂。「祖席中興億萬春,知音竭力喜重增,頹J40nB479_p0120b10綱再振光先哲,擔荷須憑過量人。時丁末運,像季澆J40nB479_p0120b11漓,撐住化門,不落委墜,是甚麼人階級?」召眾,云:「雪後J40nB479_p0120b12始知松柏操,世平方見丈夫心。」
J40nB479_p0120b13真玉宋居士建盂藍會,請上堂。「驢鳴犬吠,祖意西來;J40nB479_p0120b14見色聞聲,了明自性。諸人分上還有絕測也未?檢點J40nB479_p0120b15得出,聲色堆頭親見本來面目,亦任顛拈倒弄、豎臥J40nB479_p0120b16橫眠,與三世諸佛把手共肩、歷代祖師同個鼻孔,現J40nB479_p0120b17百千三昧、轉大法輪,不妨奇特。大眾未然,山僧拄杖J40nB479_p0120b18自倒自起去也。雨弄蟾蜍口打蕉,不妨疑著決中交;J40nB479_p0120b19蝦蟆鼻孔長三丈,嘯月吟風徹九霄。」
