師於順治拾貳年十月十五日燕京天津衛縉紳檀J40nB472_p0002a04越暨院主亮空請住地藏菴結制上堂師至座前J40nB472_p0002a05起疏云:「諸佛根源祖師巴鼻盡在裏許切忌鑽龜打J40nB472_p0002a06其或未然卻請維那宣過。」宣疏畢師指座云:「盡大J40nB472_p0002a07地總寶華王座更要登箇甚麼雖然如是一不做J40nB472_p0002a08不休。」便陞座拈香云:「此一瓣香天不能蓋地不能載J40nB472_p0002a09爇向爐中端為祝延今上J40nB472_p0002a10皇帝萬歲萬歲萬萬歲伏願皇圖鞏固帝道遐昌堯風J40nB472_p0002a11永扇於斯朝舜日長輝於萬國。」次拈云:「此一瓣香J40nB472_p0002a12為滿朝文武概國公卿本衛檀越同明不二之因J40nB472_p0002a13結無生之果。」復拈云:「此一瓣香千方不破百計難開J40nB472_p0002a14懷入江南遇個鐵面皮老子一拶粉碎爇向爐中J40nB472_p0002a15為供養現住江南常州府宜興縣龍池山禹門堂上J40nB472_p0002a16傳曹溪正脈第三十五世本師萬如大和尚用酬法J40nB472_p0002a17乳之恩。」衣就座維那白椎云:「法筵龍象眾當觀第J40nB472_p0002a18一義。」師云:「鐘停鼓寂全提向上玄機列陣臺前最喜J40nB472_p0002a19單刀直入還有不顧危亡的衲僧出眾相見。」一僧纔J40nB472_p0002a20師便喝進云:「是甚境界?」師復喝僧亦喝師打一僧J40nB472_p0002a21纔出師便打進云:「棒下點開生死路言中裂破祖師J40nB472_p0002a22。」師復打乃云:「靈源獨耀迥脫根塵逼塞太虛輝騰J40nB472_p0002a23今古遍大千皆一妙體總剎海盡一真乘情與無情J40nB472_p0002a24同一寶覺即今群賢降駕山僧豈敢囊藏盡將迦葉J40nB472_p0002a25微笑的達磨直指的和盤托出。」舉起拂子云:「會麼J40nB472_p0002a26此會得頂門正眼頓開肘後玄符獨露殺活擒縱J40nB472_p0002a27處鋒鋩把住放行渾無滲漏秪如到恁麼地還有為J40nB472_p0002a28人處也無?」擲下拄杖云:「死人遊活路。」維那白椎云:「J40nB472_p0002a29觀法王法法王法如是。」

上堂:「快馬一鞭快人一言和尚今日陞座又作麼J40nB472_p0002b01?」師云:「。」進云:「恁麼則人人鼻孔撩天去也。」師云:「J40nB472_p0002b02要第二言。」僧喝師打:「又要第二鞭。」僧無語師喝J40nB472_p0002b03:「無蹤無跡離相離名描不出書不成不是祖師巴J40nB472_p0002b04亦非瞎驢眼睛掀翻佛殿三門踏殺一堂聖僧J40nB472_p0002b05石嶺望州亭乾屎橛麻三斤。」復喝一喝:「識取鉤頭J40nB472_p0002b06莫認定盤星。」

上堂:「昔日黃面老人大開濟世法門今朝和尚如J40nB472_p0002b08何指示?」師云:「只要大家知。」進云:「古曲無音韻如何和J40nB472_p0002b09得齊?」師云:「叮叮咚咚。」進云:「不是弄潮人徒勞遭點額。」J40nB472_p0002b10師云:「棒頭有人喫在。」乃云:「圓明正照頓絕諸緣赫赫J40nB472_p0002b11常明始終一貫佛佛以此授受祖祖以此相傳獨許J40nB472_p0002b12孤俊兒孫橫拈倒用明投暗合正法流通只如不露J40nB472_p0002b13聲色一句如何道欲提無相毘盧印須向千峰頂上J40nB472_p0002b14。」

劉衡陽薦親上堂:「那吒太子析骨還父析肉還母J40nB472_p0002b16復現本身為父母說法即今薦親一句如何指示?」J40nB472_p0002b17:「迥出孤圓。」進云:「恁麼則人間天上任意優游。」師云J40nB472_p0002b18憑誰恩力?」進云:「豁開戶牖明明示。」師云:「莫亂分疏。」J40nB472_p0002b19:「離生滅相頓絕去來無位真人沒處安排既無安J40nB472_p0002b20亡靈又向甚處著落還會麼冥不收兮陽不管J40nB472_p0002b21伊突出九重天。」

上堂。「十五已前一念萬年十五已後推門落臼正當J40nB472_p0002b23十五離秦別楚秘魔擎叉禾山打鼓乾達婆奏樂J40nB472_p0002b24葉起舞團魚吞卻鱉大蟲咬殺虎甜的徹蒂甜苦的J40nB472_p0002b25連根苦天津這裏又且不然不擎叉不打鼓不奏樂J40nB472_p0002b26不起舞亦無奇奇怪怪甜甜苦苦一味白米乾飯J40nB472_p0002b27觔豆腐。」復云:「。」

上堂拈拄杖云:「山僧了無二事秪將這箇為人截斷J40nB472_p0002b29腳跟紅線挑開頂門眼睛橫抽腦後楔倒拔舌前觔J40nB472_p0002b30到恁麼時說甚麼藏身處沒蹤跡沒蹤跡處莫藏身J40nB472_p0002c01還會麼一芥一莖一勢至一塵一剎一觀音。」

上堂:「全持戒律為甚不守毘尼?」師云:「大象不遊兔J40nB472_p0002c03。」進云:「人人有個影子為甚踏不著?」師云:「你即今立J40nB472_p0002c04在甚麼處?」僧無語師打云:「果然踏不著。」乃云:「玄機獨J40nB472_p0002c05徹底尖新通身手眼一點難瞞分皂白於石火之J40nB472_p0002c06剖錙銖於閃電之際機輪活潑軌步圓通演最上J40nB472_p0002c07示真實相咄咄咄住住住!」復喝一喝:「孟八郎漢J40nB472_p0002c08掩耳偷鈴。」

上堂:「獅子遊行即不問前護後擁事如何?」師云:「J40nB472_p0002c15天圍繞。」進云:「恁麼則哮吼一聲清風滿座。」師云:「諕殺J40nB472_p0002c16一堂人。」進云:「者老漢更出一頭地去也。」師云:「莫謗他J40nB472_p0002c17。」乃云:「樹凋葉落顯覿體之真乘人法兩忘示本然J40nB472_p0002c18之密旨到者裏全彰本分毫沒囊藏應物隨機一團J40nB472_p0002c19活潑雖然如是且道放行為人好把住為人好休從J40nB472_p0002c20兔角尋長短莫向空花問淺深。」

上堂:「衝開壁立萬初擊碎鐵額銅頭未審還有向J40nB472_p0002c22上事也無?」師云:「行人更在青山外。」進云:「昨日法雷轟J40nB472_p0002c23宇宙今朝衝破釣鰲磯。」師云:「穿卻汝鼻孔。」乃云:「龜毛J40nB472_p0002c24拂子迅如風兔角烏藤活似龍彈指拂開千丈石J40nB472_p0002c25聲透過萬重峰到恁麼時指山山崩點海海竭不是J40nB472_p0002c26神通妙用亦非法爾如然還會麼一鏃破三關分明J40nB472_p0002c27箭後路。」

上堂。「八面玲瓏徹底穿通身渾箇不相瞞臨機隨便J40nB472_p0002c29拈來用不是拳頭便腳尖到恁麼時更待分賓立主J40nB472_p0002c30問答三玄不惟鈍置殺人亦乃墮坑落塹若是當家J40nB472_p0003a01種草觸處分明不動纖毫一場事畢只如大用現前J40nB472_p0003a02一句如何指陳巨靈抬手無多子分破華山千萬重。」

寂慧薦親上堂。「箇事從來絕覆藏包羅天地了無雙J40nB472_p0003a04即今示汝無藏者元是當初申大郎只這裏離四句J40nB472_p0003a05絕百非金剛體塞太虛常寂光輝萬象八字打開J40nB472_p0003a06盤托出還會麼七寶池邊聞法意九蓮臺上現金容。」J40nB472_p0003a07下座

上堂:「金鐘罷扣玉磬高停和尚如何指示?」師云:「J40nB472_p0003a09聲若雷。」進云:「恁麼則耀古騰今去也。」師云:「汝將甚麼J40nB472_p0003a10?」僧喝師打乃云:「一不立無孔鐵錘當面擲無端穿J40nB472_p0003a11卻諸人眼只要男兒自點頭不論根機利鈍初學久J40nB472_p0003a12貴乎直下承當機前擔荷會中還有擔荷得者麼J40nB472_p0003a13試通箇消息看。」眾無語復云:「巨鰲潭上無音信徒向J40nB472_p0003a14磯前下一鉤。」

上堂。「昔日釋迦老子要箇無眼意的擔當J40nB472_p0003a16箇事何故聻不萌枝上藏香象無底籃能捉活龍J40nB472_p0003a17夜拄杖子道:『要箇有眼意的擔當箇事J40nB472_p0003a18故聻摘破香囊燻大國撥開天竅吼真風。』山僧又即J40nB472_p0003a19不然有眼意的也不用無眼J40nB472_p0003a20的也不用既然總不用畢竟作麼生夜深不向蘆灣J40nB472_p0003a21宿迥出中間與兩頭。」

元旦上堂。「昨朝舊歲今日新年牧童起舞野老揚鞭J40nB472_p0003a23到恁麼時只得平地上匝匝興波高山頭滔滔鼓浪J40nB472_p0003a24玲瓏活潑玉轉珠回著著真常頭頭作用論甚麼世J40nB472_p0003a25法佛法打成一片雖然如此超群須是英靈漢勝敵J40nB472_p0003a26還歸將相才。」

解制上堂:「昔日靈山結制今朝這裏解制如何是J40nB472_p0003a28不結不解之旨?」師云:「饑來喫飯睡來眠。」進云:「如何是J40nB472_p0003a29第一玄?」師云:「父母未生前。」進云:「如何是第二玄?」師云J40nB472_p0003a30夜睹明星自了然。」進云:「如何是第三玄?」師云:「拈花笑J40nB472_p0003b01處為君傳。」進云:「如何是第一要?」師云:「坐斷聖凡道。」J40nB472_p0003b02:「如何是第二要?」師云:「放開一線竅。」進云:「如何是第J40nB472_p0003b03三要?」師云:「入廛垂手召。」進云:「三玄三要蒙師指報德J40nB472_p0003b04全憑一點秋。」師云:「如何是一點秋?」進云:「低聲低聲。」J40nB472_p0003b05:「作家闍黎。」乃云:「紅爐三箇月團魚煆成鱉鉗錘九J40nB472_p0003b06十日生鐵煉成鋼天津衛裏結制雷音寺裏上堂J40nB472_p0003b07樹著箭柳樹出槳正所謂懷州牛喫禾益州馬腹脹J40nB472_p0003b08天下覓醫人灸豬左膊上還會麼三月功勳鶤化去J40nB472_p0003b09一吼黃河兩道流。」

冬至上堂。「當陽把住凡聖難通坐斷乾維陰陽潛跡J40nB472_p0003b26今則放開線道拈出梭頭掣轉機關挽回作用總剎J40nB472_p0003b27海氤氳遶日盡大地瑞氣騰空山頭玉樹抽條海底J40nB472_p0003b28紅爐潑焰於斯會得朝打三千其或未然暮打八百J40nB472_p0003b29大眾可會得去麼廓然一入真如境爍迦羅眼不能J40nB472_p0003b30。」

上堂尼無多問:「通身活潑一頭牛蹄角全彰事事周J40nB472_p0003c02掣斷一番渾不立乾坤無礙任優游和尚還收得也J40nB472_p0003c03?」師云:「汝的牛在甚麼處?」進云:「角挑日月尾掛須彌。」J40nB472_p0003c04師云:「鼻孔在甚麼處?」進云:「踏翻潭底月吼破祖師關。」J40nB472_p0003c05師云:「好好把住繩頭。」進云:「鐵壁銀山俱粉碎了然無J40nB472_p0003c06礙獨稱尊。」師云:「休要詐明頭。」乃云:「張公喫酒李公醉J40nB472_p0003c07扶桑人種西田東籬補西壁續鳧截鶴者般說J40nB472_p0003c08話總是懸羊頭賣狗肉天津這裏卻不然山是山J40nB472_p0003c09是水僧是僧俗是俗永字八法分明決不扭直作曲J40nB472_p0003c10既然如是且道如何保任聻?」復云:「大眾歸堂。」

上堂。「畫虎畫皮難畫骨知人知面不知心等閑識得J40nB472_p0003c12淨裸裸光爍爍充滿太虛周遍法界到這裏將大千J40nB472_p0003c13界撮來如粟米大拋向面前總不見得且道承誰恩J40nB472_p0003c14?」以拂子擊香几下座

上堂。「現成公案不用安排本自圓成何勞特地若是J40nB472_p0003c16英靈漢子聞恁麼道直下了然當處解脫所謂一處J40nB472_p0003c17千處透一言通萬言通殺活擒縱盡在當人把住J40nB472_p0003c18放行全憑自雖然如是猶有事在還會麼羚羊掛J40nB472_p0003c19角千峰外更有羚羊在上層。」

薦親上堂:「諸佛涅槃心祖師正法眼為甚卻向瞎J40nB472_p0003c21驢邊滅卻?」師云:「僧投寺裏宿。」進云:「千聖不傳為甚卻J40nB472_p0003c22在和尚手裏?」師云:「疑殺闍黎。」進云:「言中有響句下無J40nB472_p0003c23。」師云:「那裏學得虛頭來?」僧喝師打乃云:「觀音殿裏J40nB472_p0003c24燒香抬起頭看元來卻是彌勒若恁麼道又爭得J40nB472_p0003c25迦殿裏拜佛跨進門元來卻是文殊直恁麼道始較J40nB472_p0003c26些子秪如薦揚一句作麼生道脫卻皮囊達本真J40nB472_p0003c27然自是一番新白蓮臺上無新舊永證金剛不壞身。」

上堂:「明鏡當臺人天一鑑向上宗乘請師垂示。」J40nB472_p0004a01:「兔角杖挑潭底月龜毛繩繫樹頭風。」乃云:「空手把J40nB472_p0004a02鋤頭步行騎水牛人從橋上過橋流水不流千年田J40nB472_p0004a03八百主人貧智短馬瘦毛長寸金不換丈鐵還會麼J40nB472_p0004a04若不同床睡焉知被裏穿?」復舉:「古人道:『這著子如水J40nB472_p0004a05牯牛過窗櫺頭角四蹄都過了只有尾巴過不得。』」J40nB472_p0004a06呵呵大笑:「水中擇乳除是鵝王。」

上堂。「恍恍惚惚其中有物且道是甚麼物杳杳冥冥J40nB472_p0004a08其中有精且道是甚麼精還會麼老君殿裏古佛J40nB472_p0004a09葉寺裏三清。」復舉周金剛行腳時中途遇婆子賣餈J40nB472_p0004a10團公案。「山僧今日不惜眉毛與周金剛出一口氣J40nB472_p0004a11時待他道點那箇心只向道揀熱的搬將來伊若眼J40nB472_p0004a12目定動拈餈團劈面便搭管教者婆子舌如扁擔J40nB472_p0004a13似流星雖然如是也是賊過後張弓。」

歲朝上堂:「新年與舊年不隔一條線如何是舊年J40nB472_p0004b30盡的意旨?」師云:「赤條條的還兜率。」進云:「如何是新年J40nB472_p0004c01頭的意旨?」師云:「裝裝點點下瑤臺。」進云:「本來無改換J40nB472_p0004c02何用更安排?」師云:「披蓑側立千峰外引水澆蔬五老J40nB472_p0004c03。」乃舉:「香嚴云:『去年貧未是貧今年貧始是貧去年J40nB472_p0004c04還有卓錐之地今年貧錐也無。』真淨云:『去年富J40nB472_p0004c05是富今年富始是富去年富惟有一領黑漆布衫J40nB472_p0004c06年富添得一條白衲袈裟歲朝抖搜呈禪眾實謂風J40nB472_p0004c07流出當家。』」師云:「這隊老漢一個逞乖一個賣俏未免J40nB472_p0004c08向貧富裏折倒山僧這裏則不然也不道貧也不道J40nB472_p0004c09逢茶喫茶遇粥喫粥新年與舊年六六三十六。」
